S7 - Reality 6 - Day of the Lord

The transcription outlines an eschatological timeline beginning with a seven-year period initiated by a peace covenant. The first 3.5 years bring relative peace to Israel, while the Antichrist stirs conflict elsewhere. The midpoint sees the Antichrist breaking the covenant, desecrating Jerusalem, and starting the final 3.5 years of great tribulation. Immediately after this, Jesus returns in the Second Coming. He appears over Jerusalem in power and glory, darkening the heavens, and the resurrection of the dead and rapture of the living righteous occur. This event begins the "Day of the Lord," a season of judgment. Jesus first judges heavenly powers, then, according to prophetic passages, travels to Egypt to liberate persecuted Jews in a "second Exodus." Leading a heavenly army, He gathers these liberated people and marches toward Jerusalem, ultimately defeating the Antichrist and his allied nations in battle, establishing His messianic kingdom.

Alright, so my brothers as you know we've been in these seven realities of the last days and to Christ going to make some kind of peace covenant with the Jewish people probably some other nations it's going to begin a seven-year process we're in the first three and a half years of birth pains going to be peace and safety in Jerusalem and the land of Israel but there's going to be some sense of havoc throughout the Middle East because Anti-Christ is going to be stirring things like hornets and asked for three and a half years but when he breaks in the middle of the week the middle of the seven years and comes down upon Jerusalem and begins the abomination of desolation as we know if you guys have been through the teachings you know what some things that are going to begin to happen in the heavens and on the earth and it will begin what it will set in motion the final three and a half years in this age which is most spoken of in the scriptures which is Jeremiah calls it Jacob's trouble Jesus called it great tribulation Jeremiah 30 Matthew 24 but it's this final period of three and a half years that closed this age Matthew 24 verse 29 immediately after the tribulation of those days will be one coming on the clouds right the sun will go dark the the moon will be a bash and it's almost like the illuminaries of the sky and the heavens are going to go dark because Jesus is coming back in the glory and the power of the Father with millions of angels two weeks ago we get with the second coming one of the most awesome things about the second coming is that Jesus is not just coming to resurrect the dead rapture the living righteous okay those two things are going to happen they will be taking up into the clouds with Jesus when he comes but Jesus also as we talked about this Isaiah 24 Isaiah 34 there are many many passages that speak where even in Matthew 24 Jesus says the powers in the heavens will be shaken and we talked a bit about this come once ago that Jesus will begin by dealing with powers in the heavens the divine entities Elohim gods divine beings whatever you want to call Jesus is going to begin judging them first as he's coming to bring judgment in and around the land of Israel known as the surrounding nations okay one of the big ideas if you were to put a word beside the second coming think sky day of the Lord happens in the land okay and those are two major pieces what we want to try to do is look now what happens when Jesus comes now the day the second coming day of the Lord are very to distinct events slash processes but they are simultaneously in other words Jesus comes and words he comes in first that's what we're going to begin talking about that's why I drew the map because I thought it would be helpful let's just begin we're going to look at one two three four and I'm just going to hit this and then we may move to the notes and begin to fire some questions around it for for a moment okay let's begin with a passage you got to deal with and you're like what this is like crazy and some of you may hear some things you've never fought through or heard before regarding the day of the Lord it's not just a day by the way but it's called the day of the Lord it is a I think it's a season maybe of 30 days could be a couple of weeks to 30 days we don't really know but you're going to see that it's not just Jesus comes back and judges the wicked in a moment in a day it's a period of time we're going to look at that here tonight okay so what happens think about just just think about this all of a sudden we've come through seven years the immediately after the tribulation is the time of the second coming let's just read that passage because it's probably helpful somebody read Matthew 24 29 to 31 and let's just get the second coming kind of in our in our minds because we're going to read a passage in just a moment it's going to hit really nail that more detail okay Matthew 24 29 to 31 you may really have to tribulation at those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light and the stars will fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens will be shaken then we'll peer in heaven the sign of the son of man and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and they will see the son of man coming on the clouds with heaven with power and great glory he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call and they will gather his elect from the four winds from one end of the heavens to the other okay so Jesus come is he gonna float around seven continents it's what I used to believe and I don't think it is it's like Jesus is gonna come over he's gonna begin over you know the Middle East and then and then he's gonna move over Europe like Santa Claus really you know but but the idea was when he comes over a region the dead in those regions will resurrect and the the righteous living will be raptured at that moment but I believe more accurately okay here it is our first red our first red number okay Jesus is coming over Jerusalem why do we believe why do I say that and believe that and I'm just gonna I put in this before you to begin considering and working through it okay one of the main reasons is because what we just read because when he says he comes the sign of the Son of Man Daniel 7/13 he's quoting the sign of the Son of Man and then he says what and the tribes of the land will mourn guys he's not told about he told me the tribes of the land of Israel mourn because he's quoting Zachariah 12 because that that moment they're going to see the cloud writer and remember this one from Sinai this one throughout the Old Testament God was known as a cloud writer and it's going to awaken them in such a way according to Zachariah 12 it says that the tribes of the land of Israel are going to go into their homes and weep bitterly because they're gonna recognize that's the one in the clouds is the one that they actually pierced and they're gonna mourn of him that for these years they actually were resisting him now they're going to receive him but it's gonna be a it's gonna so you gotta put and again everything's in the notes but that's what's gonna I am Jesus is coming over Jerusalem here's another major passage so I read with him Zachariah 9/14 it's just passage he's got to deal with and it's like what and so you have like three different components of the second coming in this one passage Zachariah 9/14 in fact Zachariah 9 is full of eschatology in it and then chapter 10 and then you move to chapter 12 to 14 it's just this huge there's a lot of eschatology or in time insights all right somebody read it for us Zachariah 9/14 then the Lord will appear over them and his arrow will go forth like lightning and the Lord God will blow the trumpet and march in the storm winds of the south that one verse is so filled with so much prophecy and that's the question who is them and if you work through the context of Zachariah 9 is very clear a Jewish it is Israel so he will appear over them so here's here's what I'm placing before small brothers okay again you gotta go way out the notes and way out the scriptures but Jesus is going to calm and appear over Jerusalem and over the land of Israel in the sky and everything's gonna be dark believe it probably is gonna be you know we talked about a few weeks ago may not be those white pillow cotton looking clouds that we think about blue skies it's probably gonna be like dark storm clouds well when he died on the cross darkness covered the land for three hours man yeah from 12 p.m. to three so it makes me think that like him coming back would be not a joyous like like fluffy white clouds but yeah he comes he left the land and he comes the land and the one Joel three says he will roar from Zion and when he comes back and again that's after this trick has happened so the Bob Gray Point and another point is that many of the prophets speak when he comes it is indeed storm clouds so it's it's probably gonna be like really dark and there's reasons for this and we'll see some of that here tonight but Jesus is gonna come back over Jerusalem the the tribes of the land are going to mourn over him now the question we began to ask is now keep in mind you got the resurrection mirror see I I see according to Matthew 24 31 the angel blows the trumpet and that's the time for the resurrection in the rapture and you just put all these past just together as we worked through two weeks ago but guys I believe that the angels are going to go out to the four points of the compass it says the four winds of the heavens and they're going to be gathering resurrection of the king I mean man I just did a funeral and I laid my hands on the casket at the gray side and I began to speak of the resurrection of the dead and the power of that hope and I said this later so hilarious I said and guys we're gonna be reunited I started singing the song and Katie and his brother and the girl and the wife they started all singing re you nine it and I began to just think because guys that's what's gonna happen if you know a mama a daddy a grandma a grandpa a friend we're gonna be reunited in the resurrection now some of us even here we don't know when this thing is going to begin to unfold that some of us might actually be caught up alive the dead in Christ shall rise first Festa Simone's 4th 13 to 18 but then we who are live Paul says will be caught up with them that's when this happens when Jesus comes over to Jerusalem so the question is what happens to those who are resurrected and quote rapture at that time where do they go I do not have a solid answer I talked about this with many people I do not have biblically a solid answer other than we might be over Jerusalem and the holding pattern up and having somewhere we don't know now if you believe in a free trip relation rapture that the church goes to heaven for seven years at this point of course I don't believe that so when when the resurrection of the rapture happened here at the second coming over Jerusalem where do those millions guys listen maybe I don't know I want you to say it could be billion I don't know but we're talking about Adam we're talking about Noah we're talking about Abraham a lot of my King David we're talking about the saints of old and grandma you know what I mean like they're gonna be broke up out of graves man some of them been laying there for for five six thousand years and their body has returned to the dust but God's going to take their spirit and their bodies their bones and put them back together Ezekiel 37 and with the resurrection of the day what an amazing even just the idea that there's a future resurrection is some powerful okay what happens at that point okay Isaiah 19 and guys all I'm gonna do is start pulling and these are things just been working through for a number of years we're gonna just start pulling passages okay because you got to deal with these kind of passages all we're doing is gonna hit the numbers okay number one he comes over Jerusalem number two where's number two how in the world does Jesus get from Jerusalem to Egypt does he does he come down in Jerusalem like back to the Mount of Olives because many believe when Jesus comes back his feet will come to the Mount of Olives exactly right 14 but I believe that is on the back end and I'm gonna show you here tonight as we walk through the map okay so my read is Isaiah 19 is a huge the whole passage is eschatological he's talking about what's getting ready to happen to Egypt they're gonna come under judgment okay and the narrow river is going to dry up and then it's gonna be a highway from a Syria down to Egypt and guess who's in the middle right and guys let me give you a one big point just to keep in mind okay as you just we all give me a balls up here just for a moment any if you ever heard the Kings highway it's it's ancient it's all the way back to the time that that Moses would have come up and made this trek Moses made a trek from Egypt to Mount Sinai it is somewhere in this area up through this region of Adam and they camped out here right Moses died didn't go in but Joshua rose up well leadership to bring them across the Jordan River but there's a region there's an area here from a Syria down to Egypt today it's it was a major trade route all of the history of the Old Testament is Israel or individuals moving on this trade route from a Syria to Egypt and it's called the Kings Highway I'm telling y'all the truth this is the trek Jesus is getting ready to make he's gonna be coming up on the Kings Highway himself that's just like what okay we'll see it alright so I mean Isaiah and I came verse 1 I'll read the pronouncement concerning Egypt behold the Lord is writing on a swift cloud and it's about to come to Egypt the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them so what do you do with that because the whole passage that unfolds from there there's a cruel master Antichrist verse 4 then now River is going to dry up during this time it's gonna be really hard for the Egyptians and then you get to the end of the passage and he starts talking about a Syria Egypt and the Jerusalem are going it's gonna be like this major all of it there's going to be great worship that's going to come out of these three regions at the end of Isaiah 19 because it's the time of the Messianic Kingdom okay just putting that before you to keep in mind so we we now place Isaiah 19 verse 1 into a quote in time a scalagical context that when Jesus comes back he's coming to Egypt on the cloud what is he land I don't know somewhere in Egypt he's coming to Egypt and what's he going to begin to do look at the notes with me here are three four of the big ideas of what's getting ready to happen page one they have the Lord defying he's coming Jesus comes with vengeance wrath and judgment upon the wicked powers in the heavens and people in the surrounding nations of Israel the seven bolts of wrath are going to begin to be poured out there's going to be a second Exodus and Jesus will then come to Jerusalem and battle and fight for Jerusalem against Antichrist and his allies okay what are the order of events I've got him here and they're marked by one two three four on the board he comes first to Jerusalem secondly he's come to Egypt not only is he going to Egypt modified John I'll talk about this recently at the end of Deuron 28 the covenant curses against Israel it speaks of it in an eschatological idea or context in times that actually Jews are going to come back to Egypt by way of ships in other words guys you got to you I think with me okay 1940 when Antichrist went Hitler puts six million I mean millions of Jews but killed six million Jews we're gonna see that similar thing but Jews are now going to be being put in various places throughout the Middle East the Antichrist will actually put them there in places like prison camps when Jesus comes Isaiah 61 and a number of passages we could look at says Jesus is coming setting the captors free we talk about that in a spiritual sense now but it is an eschatological physical reality that Jesus is setting captors free who have been brought down to Egypt by Antichrist in his allies and they put been put into prisons they're gonna they're gonna be back again like now guys this isn't just for a year to this is gonna be three and a half years during the great tribulation they're gonna be put in places like Egypt modern day Jordan up into a Syria they're gonna be taken out into places throughout the Muslim Middle East and put in places where they're gonna be starved they're gonna battle greatly their eyes are gonna become damn they're not gonna have food and for three and a half years they're gonna be under the brutal rain and rule of the Antichrist okay and this is where Jesus is coming down to Egypt where he starts his liberation he's going to begin in this region of getting any Jews there he's gonna begin to gather them with himself and he's going to begin bringing them up towards Jerusalem it's called the second Exodus let's read Isaiah 11 you're like this is incredible passage you're gonna read this road Isaiah 11 speaks of Jesus slaying the Antichrist in verse four Bobby de Force man I'm about to put it out I said hey just starting Isaiah 11 and four this is Jesus fighting the Antichrist because Paul quotes his second Thessalonians 2 verse 8 just for it already 11 for and now I'll get you but with righteous but with righteousness he showed judge the poor and decided with equity for the meek of the earth and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked okay this is what again Paul is quoting this in second Thessalonians 2 verse 8 specifically he talks about slaying the Antichrist the breath of his mouth Paul's quoting his passage by the way okay number two he starts talking about and then the wolf and the lamb will lie down together verses 6 to 9 it's the time of the messianic kingdom but then he says okay but what happens as we move toward the messianic kingdom and well we're gonna read this trek that Jesus is doing here see these names here on the board listen to them in light of what we're getting ready to read okay and again when you hear a second time he's speaking of a second Exodus do you know Jesus was known as the Greater Moses Jesus and Moses brought the children of Israel out of Egypt the Mount Sinai and up toward the land of Israel Jesus is going to do it again it's called second Exodus it's a huge eschatological theme the second Exodus is Jesus bringing Jews out of prison camps out of places where they have been treated in a devastating way and Jesus is going to be liberating them and regathering them because he's bringing them with him to Jerusalem this is you don't want deliverance you don't want like regathering and the beauty of redemption Jesus is gonna do this for Jews to remember we the righteous they have already been resurrected right the righteous living they've already been raptured when Jesus comes over Jerusalem now we're talking about Jews in physical bodies coming with Jesus and Mary's of angels and don't forget Jesus is on that revelation 19 he's on that white horse at this point okay you gotta know that's what's happening he's coming up from Egypt okay did he come from Jerusalem in the air on the white horse I don't know man says heaven was open and John said he saw white horse all I know is that passage is quoting Isaiah thirty I say a sixty three speaking of him coming up from eat him on the white horse so I believe Jesus is going to become with Mary's of angels on horses and they're going to be coming up through the reach can you imagine this scene and all I'm trying to do is take all these passages and throw them aboard and think through them to be a God bill this might be one of the nights two a.m. the night man you sitting there man staring at the ceiling again come on baby all here we go second Exodus listen to this and guys I gave you a number of passages that you can check out but here's here's what we want to read oh you got it you can quote them both was that's it uh revelator excuse me Isaiah 11 11 to 16 okay in that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the bremen that remains of his people from Messyria from Egypt from Pathros from Cush from Elon from Shinnah from Hameth and from the coastlands of the sea he will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel and gather the disperse of Judah from the four corners of the earth the jealousy of Iferium shall depart and those who are asked Judah shall be cut off if Iferium shall not be jealous of Judah and Judah shall not harass Iferium but they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west and together they shall plunder the people of the east they shall put out their hand against Edom and Moab and the amonites shall obey them and the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the sea of Egypt and will wave his hand over the river with his scorching breath and strike into several channels he will lead people across in sandals and there will be a highway from Assyria for the bremen that remain of his people as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt kings highway and so guys it says Jesus is going from the tongue make it from blue out I should have added yourself from the tongue of Egypt which is the now river somewhere in this area right to Assyria which is the Euphrates river he's gonna wave his hand here and he's going to he's going to actually begin he's going to destroy this region the tone of the now river in some way in other words you remember when the now river was the risk he was opened up and and Jews walked through Jesus going to do it again and it's right there in the passage it just it's just my glory to me we're gonna see that thing again now I don't know we might be up on the balcony of heaven looking down like this thing I don't know where we're gonna be but just know that Jesus is coming to Egypt okay and then we start picking up some passages that are like let's so let's just read mid over page just this will just help a little bit because this is the big point I wanted to make tonight okay number one Jesus will appear over Jerusalem on the clouds and the tribes of the land of Israel will mourn over the one whom they pierced time of the resurrection matter number two Egypt Jesus will come to Egypt on the cloud and this is one of the past I gave you four five passages but this is the one we read in Isaiah 19 and he will begin the second exit is for his people the Jews Jesus is on a white horse with Mary of angels etc okay number three then where does he come y'all got my read y'all here y'all with me now he's coming to this region of Edom remember Edom are the descendants of Esau all the way back to genesis 36 Edom and you see numerous names and I've listed them here when you see this in the Bible Mount Zaire Mount Paran Basra which was the capital of Edom and Taman these were like mountain ranges and capital cities in this region of Edom which again we said is a thousand times Edom is modern day Jordan and modern day Jordan those Palestinians are descendants of Esau and why has God have such a fight to pick with the Edomites their descendants of Esau and again I put just before you just go read this book in light of our discussion right now okay and it's only 21 verses the book of Obadiah because Obadiah shows the conflict between Edom and Jacob or Esau and Jacob and the fact that Esau Edom modern day Jordan they are gonna calm against Jerusalem and Jacob in their time of distress final three and a half years and Jesus is up to here ain't gonna have enough of it the most committed let me say let me see how I wrote number three coming from Egypt Sinai according to Deuteronomy 32 Jesus has his deepest wrath in store for the descendants of Esau in Edom modern day Jordan I'm talking about guys there are dozens of prophecies of this is the most committed place to destruction by Jesus when he comes again and it's because I believe the majority of the Ezekiel 35 verse five says you Mount Zair which is in this region of of Edom you have had ever lasting hatred and enmity toward Israel the Jews and so there's this deep animosity you know what will really be fascinating for us I would encourage you to do this go back and reread the story of Jacob and Esau who came out first and Jacob had a hand on his on his heel right and you remember Jacob quote the deceiver deceived his brother but Esau actually gave up the bird fried yeah for a soup for for some red stew and then he's peeled about it the rest of his life and walked against Jacob every time he could he's every time yeah he he a turn will be made Esau's trying to take his brother Jacob out and so ever Zechuel 35 verse five which was written around the time of Israel or excuse me Judah being over in Babylon about 500 BC all the way back to the time of Genesis 25 30 35 thereabouts when this actual animosity and hatred started Esau has had in his heart all the way back to that time now when it is Zechuel prophesized that in 35 verse five that mouth there you've had everlasting enmity in you all these years he's speaking of it eschatologically at the end of the age so it's thousands of years of animosity and hatred and the desire to kill his brother has been burning in him Esau the Edamites the Jordanians today that is just my blowing to know that that is everlasting enmity and hatred that's there is Eco 35 verse five is a fascinating passage to look at okay Bill I'll give you look at present day circumstances in the Middle East Jordan would be the last country that you would think that seems like there's some peace there right now that was yeah it's been that well and they have a covenant with Israel yeah they do and they've helped protect Israel from a lot of this stuff that's been coming over from my ran you know they've been shooting down a lot of that stuff for allowing Israel to fly over their their land so you would think that would be the last one but it's like I know they have Palestinians there that hate the king of Jordan and it's just like we were talking I was thinking that stuff is blah blah blah over there and it has been for a long time and so I don't that what you're saying but if you look at present day yeah just on the surface you wouldn't think that maybe that'll be the big surprise if I can jump in room I have some insight on this because as far as I've studied it modern day Jordan doesn't become a part of the alliance that is quote-unquote they impressed and I think that's unique and interesting to study out in the scriptures and Daniel it talks about he will invade the beautiful land many countries will fall but these will be rescued from his hand e-m-o-f and the foremost of Amman and then it goes on talk about it as a sign of all of those regions he just mentioned they're all a part of modern day Jordan by the way yeah yeah so yeah that like three nation phrase becomes like modern day Jordan of that or that and that's a total end of Daniel 11 by the way if anybody wants their reference to John's yeah so then right after that it jumps on and says like it's just very clearly then he would stretch out his hand against other countries and the land of Egypt will will not escape and so that clearly lines up with what's gonna be happening to Egypt so you have that sort of coupled with breaking down Ezekiel 3738 e-m like modern day Jordan's not in there and so I think ultimately what happens is they are instrumental in brokering the peace deal and the covenant with shield and then at a defined point they betray their brother in like the most cosmic sense and that is the thing that actually is sort of the nail and their coffin for enduring that retribution from the Lord and I think that makes sense in my mind it makes sense geopolitically they have no control the temple mount and it's just this long game of like like yeah it's profound like I was watching the Oscars last night and the the best foreign documentary was this movie called No Other Land and it's just this like undercurrent of anti-symmetism and that this is our real land and like they'll sort of come and lead and say the right things and do the right things until until that betrayal occurs and our most the Palestinians still in most of them in the West Bank I don't know to what extent but there's a number in in the West Bank for sure which they battle over every day and even today Israel's making more incursions into the West Bank and the animosity that's there is only strengthening the lens mask right have what you said what you said the hatred yeah John I think you're only man great great insight and just back to a point just for a moment I'll speak to this again you were talking about like what you know they won't be a part of Antichrist regime we know that from Isaac Daniel 11 but at some point you talk about like brokering something brokering a deal yeah I think it makes sense if you have like modern-day Israel there and they want to get to a place of coexistence and then this prominent figure arises and boring in the land and unifying these things then you could see a scenario where the land that he doesn't control could be involved in that but they would sort of secretly be in league and it's just basically if you drew a circle around that area and said like where are the Jews and then where the era of Muslims like why would Adam be excluded like it should totally be a part of that should be like the main figure in that and the scriptures are just really clear in excluding that or making points that no to no like there's a different type of of retribution for them and just going back to Jacob and he saw yes you're trying to receive this inheritance from your brother and like I don't know the more you study scriptures it's just like Solomon there's nothing new under the sun it's just like literally it's the second exodus and it's just this yeah I don't know just the cemetery kind of fits they're almost as long so pretty much every around there yeah I mean there's too tight I mean there's Sunni Muslim she Muslim but they're all under the Islamic ideals ideals like so before they're the stain or the cancer in the area of the Jews and it's just interesting that you just I mean until you study the prophets you come away and you're like why does Jesus have such a bum to peak with this region why is it this region and I'm just saying I gave guys just look down under Adam number three we've got Genesis 36 numbers 24 Isaiah 34 Isaiah 63 Ezekiel 35 Joel 3 Obadiah Habakkuk and the book of Revelation 19 and says all these passages man every one of them their prominent theme is Edom and Jesus coming from Egypt to this region of modern day Jordan and he is slaying them man I mean like man it's so much like let's just read a little bit of it okay so let's get to Isaiah 34 and we'll look at Isaiah 34 Isaiah 36 just for a moment and then we'll move to Jerusalem okay Cam yeah we can I can mention after this okay I say okay Isaiah 34 let's just read a couple of verses from there noticing Isaiah 34 I might have just keep in mind Isaiah 34 Isaiah 63 these are these are two just massive prophecies regarding Edom okay and modern day Jordan so notice that in Ezekiel I mean Isaiah 34 that Jesus starting verse two the Lord's indignation is against all the nations and I think he's speaking of the surrounding nations the prophets always talk about this and wrath against all their armies and he has utterly destroyed them and has given them over to slaughter verse 3 Isaiah 34 verse 3 so their slain will be thrown out and their corpses will give off their stench and the mountains will be drenched with their blood and guys again he's talking about about Edom in the context getting ready to get to a verse 4 all the host of heaven will wear away this is Jesus starting in heaven first and that sky will be rolled up like a scroll this is being quoted in Revelation 6 at the fifth sixth seal by the way and he says and all their host also will will wear their away the host of heaven as a leaf withers from the vine verse 5 my sword is satiate is that right pronunciation it's satisfied look at this in heaven so Jesus begins in heaven at the second coming but look where the sword's gonna come behold I shall descend from judgment upon you but he starts in Egypt and he's coming to eat him okay so again you got to put all the prophets together to to fit this together to understand and upon the people whom I have devoted to destruction Edom verse verse 6 the sword of the Lord is filled with blood it is sated with fat with the blood of lambs and goats with fat of the kidneys of rams for the Lord has a sacrifice in Bosra guys give me eyes for a moment Bosra is the ancient capital of this region of Edom okay so we're again we're talking about modern day Jordan right is the ancient capital Bosnia is and a great slaughter in the land of Edom verse 7 wild ox and shell fall with them young bulls with strong ones and their land will be soaked with blood and look at this next part and there was that word I can't see it because it's marked out there dust there it is verse 7 their land Edom's land will be soaked with blood and their dust will become greasy with fat from the slain of animals and of individuals the Lord has a day of vengeance our year of recompense for the calls of Zion see here's what happened guys so we've been talking Edom is so is gonna come against Jacob in the time of the final three and a half years Jacob's trouble they're gonna come against them according to Obadiah and then Jesus is going to turn against them for what they did to Jerusalem and Jacob Israel he's now gonna pour it back upon them he has a he has a calls of vengeance for Zion and that's what Isaiah 34 verse 8 is all about okay let's read one more passage here on this point get Isaiah 63 and this is just this is just giving you some context what what why Edom because it makes you really think about like God raising up missionaries to go to the least because raising up missionaries to go to that most devoted place to destruction to prepare I literally have buddies that have moved to the least just another one just recently moving to Cairo Egypt and I'm just like what and you get a burden with the word of the Lord and recognizing that these people are not ready for this judgment this coming right all right Isaiah 63 verse 1 who is this that come that man this is crazy guys by the way Isaiah 62 is about a watchman look give me asshole quit I say 62 is about a watchman on the walls in Jerusalem Isaiah and he's saying who is this coming up from Edom he's like a watchman on the walls in Jerusalem and he saying who is this coming up from Edom he's seeing this by the spirit who is this coming up from Edom to Jerusalem at this time let's keep reading who is this it comes through Edom with garments of glowing colors from Basra the one who is majestic in his apparel marching in the greatness of his string it is I who's speaking righteousness might be to say why is your apparel read and your garments like the one who trades in the wine press I have trun the wine press the wine trough alone and from the peoples there is no man with me I also tried them in my anger trample them in my wrath and their life blood is sprinkle on my garments and I stained all my rain for the day of vengeance was in my heart and the year of redemption has come and I looked and there was no one to help and I was astonished and there was no one to uphold so my own on broad salvation this is Jesus brothers okay by own on broad salvation to me and my wrath of hell be and I draw down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath and I poured out their life blood on the earth so this is Jesus coming up from Edom why is he you've ever seen Isaiah 19 he's on white horse and it says that his white garment looks like it's been dipped in blood revelation what I say I say yeah revelation 19 it's because Jesus his literally his garments are going to be like white garments gonna be bloody man because he has been slain as enemies it's just it's intense I know but I just want us to see the reality that love he does he full of grace Jesus is now man warrior man of war Isaiah 42 calls Isaiah 42 13 calls him the warrior in regards to the matter of justice that he's bringing to these nations Bob I have a quick question polls yeah okay okay okay let's unfold that so by the way while watch this guys when you put in all this together revelation 16 there are seven bowls of wrath being poured out by the angels they're pouring out these bowls it's like fire and health stones and all kinds of stuff that's coming from heaven it's coming upon the antichrist in his allies and these nations right here here's a fascinating verse about get three five talks about Jesus is coming up through the land so you got to take revelation 16 the seven bowls of wrath are being also poured out from heaven while Jesus is coming up through the land and he slain his enemies on the white horse all of that with Mary's of angels so you got to put revelation 16 seven bowls of wrath with revelation 19 Jesus on the white horse and all of this is is like coming out against the surrounding nations this is why guys there's nowhere in the scriptures that talks about any of this like being obliterating Europe or obliterating America or obliterating Australia that it's the only context for the day of the Lord is always the surrounding nations no there's not another nation listed except for these surrounding nations because it's the nations that took them off into exile that put them in prison camps that were killing them and destroying them and it's those nations that would come under destruction at the day of the Lord when Jesus comes up from Egypt through Edom to Jerusalem so here's a side question how long is it gonna take him to get from Egypt to Edom to Jerusalem and that will begin to help you like I like this is understood in Daniel 12 because after the 1260 days three and a half years it says hold on for another 30 or 45 days and I believe this is part of what's happening Jesus comes here but then from Egypt to Edom by the way did you know that the original trek by Moses it should have taken them between all his stories will tell you this from Egypt through the Red Sea to Mount Sinai it should have taken them 10 to 14 days to get to the land of Israel how long did they go 40 years why because they were cursed from up and able to go in because they were disobedient to what I said GPS kept saying to recalculate here's why this is a profound fault I encourage you guys to consider God's will and purposes I believe are linear God's desire was then to come right out of Sinai to the promised land 10 14 days God's purposes are linear because purposes become circular when we walk a disobedience and for 40 years why are they wondering Bob for 40 years because God's purposes are linear but they become circular when we walk around and disobedience and we're like in the same freaking place how many y'all feel like you've been in the same place you don't see what I'm saying and it's just if I would God I just I throw that out to you to consider and I think there's something there but my point was how long will it take Jesus to do the second Exodus of Isaiah 11 maybe two weeks maybe 30 days we don't know 100% better mode so is that the 45 days I believe it is connected to the 40 30 to 45 days at the end of Daniel 12 if any of you I want to check that 30 days and there's another extension of a few days and I think it's connected to Jesus coming and doing the day of the Lord during this time and then coming for the battle of Jerusalem which we're getting ready to get to them all from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the defamation desolation is set up there will be 1,290 days three and a half years how blessed no three and a half years is 1260 what did I say you said 1290 oh so what I'm saying is he's already putting a 30 day extension after the great tribulation as 1260 days three and a half years time times half a time yeah then there's a 1290 and then he will even add 13 then he says yeah how blessed is he keeps waiting and it tends to the 1,335 days I think some of the context of that too is like we don't have Gentile believers in Daniel right so it's all the elect it's all the Jews and so the way that you receive salvation is that Jesus Messiah comes and like rest Jews you from prison right and like we come into the faith and we can die as martyrs and our salvation will be secure it's weird to think about two different plans but I think it's it's clearly laid out in the Scripture and just point out that like Jesus is a better Moses so he does that linear plan in the context he got his eyes and then another one little piece that I think like please allow that it's really beneficial is if you look at the bowls coming from the heavens from the father and in a military military sense it's like the artillery right so it's like softening up the enemy as the infantry of Christ the arm of the father the son comes through the land and you see this like synergy of him accomplishing what he wants to do but he still needs boots on the ground come on baby need both air troops and ground troops let me read a passage John if anyone on get there how back if you can find it how about hey guys a back at three verse five listen to this because this is connected to the bowls of wrath revelation 16 seven bowls of wrath the angels are pouring those out right it's not some demon some devil some the angels of God are pouring out the seven bowls of wrath revelation 16 while Jesus is coming up through the land on the white horse with myriads of angels listen it is a back at three five well let's just let me just start in verse three God comes from Timon did you know what that's that it's a it's a region here in Edom okay God this is again a real ask a logic by God comes from Timon and the holy one from Mount Peron these are regions in the the area of modern day Jordan his splendor covers the heavens and the earth is full of his praise his radiance is like the sunlight his rays flashing from his hand and there is the hiding of his power verse five before him before Jesus on the white horse before him goes pestilence and plague comes after him and what I want you to see is that like while Jesus is like slaying his enemies with the power of the sword of his mouth and myriads of angels are involved with slaying so hard to say but they're slaying Muslims in the Middle East man also seven bowls of wrath pestilence and you can just go revelation 16 and reread that tonight and look at what's being poured out and they're being poured out on this region of the Middle East so it's going to be a severe as much as the great tribulation is going to be severe man the day of the Lord is going to be a very severe hard time and and God's going to be killing folk man so what happens when Jesus comes from Edom after he's done his trick there number four he now comes Zachariah 14 he comes to the Middle East let's read it this is crazy man so might read Zachariah 14 verses three through five pick up this context we're probably getting close to yeah I say thirty we ain't got all page one yet y'all know how that goes don't you all right so might read Zachariah go go Matthew back two books oh y'all your phones okay anyway Zachariah 14 verses three to five the solicit is for more great Bob you used to good at it man three to five yeah then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations as he fought on the day of battle on that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east and the Mount of Olives shall split into from the east to west by a very wide valley so that one half of the mountains shall move north and the other half shall move southward and you shall flee to the valley of my mountains for the valley of the mountain shall recall to Azal and you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Yusaya king of Judah then the Lord my God will come and all the holy ones with him on that day there shall be no light cold or frost it's good okay question any up who's been to Israel in the room tonight I've had I've had four opportunities in the last five years and I just didn't do it oh Lord I want to go before you come but guys just imagine the Mount of Olives garden against Semini it's east so so keep in mind okay you got the you got the temple mount okay and that region of Jerusalem then to the east by the way the temple always faced east always was called the face east even back to Genesis chapter three God's presence and and you always approach God from the I don't understand it but so the the temple faced east on the temple mount historically and outside of the temple mount the city of Jerusalem you go down through the Kidron Valley over to Gardner gets Semini which is all the Mount of Olives to the east that mountain is going to move from it's gonna move north and south and Jews are gonna come through the mountain I think that's what's going on at this final time it's almost like a final deliverance for those who've been there in the region of Jerusalem I think that's what's happening and I got a side note in in the nose that you can check out but here's the bigger idea just think with me what's going to move Mount Olives to North South if there's this huge valley I've been reading the book of Revelation chapter six chapter 11 chapter 16 I believe this and chapter anyways it's used four times there's this massive earthquake that's going to happen in that region and you start putting the earthquakes together I gave you the passages four passages in the book of Revelation there all at this time when Jesus has come up through the land to this region man the Mount of Olives is going to move north to south and Jesus is going to be come and stand there in that region with myriads of angels because guess what's getting ready to happen now some of you've heard of the battle of Armageddon the better translation would be the battle for Jerusalem because many think and I'll just put this in front of you something you got to work through I'm asking you work through it many believe that up here is a plane called magito is the place where this battle will take place but every listen to me every what what I just say every prophet and passage in the scriptures all speak of that final battle is Jerusalem it's not an area matter of fact it's Harmageddon Harmageddon this is a phrase used one time in the New Testament and it's used in Revelation 16 Harmageddon Har is the word for mountain and they they simply take magito because it was a plane up in northern Israel where a lot of battles took place so they think this is where but there's no biblical evidence for that so Harmageddon is actually the valley of Jehoshaphat according to Joel 3 which is in the Kidron Valley outside of Jerusalem and it's just numerous after numerous after numerous every prophet lines up that this final battle when Jesus comes to them at all the battle is for Jerusalem like in Jerusalem in the region of Jerusalem because this is where Antichrist in his allies are going to be and I would really encourage you guys to work through the notes on this because I have extensive notes on this for you to look at and think through okay because modern Prophets and guys put again a battle of Armageddon up here in the region of Magito but it just doesn't line up biblically I really would encourage you to work through this okay so it's the battle for Jerusalem so the Harmageddon Harmageddon is Harmageddon but they take Maggeddon and they they link it to Magito because it's not that valley it's not this it's because there is no mountain there is no Mount Magito and it's very clear Har is the word for mountain but we know we've got a mountain here in Jerusalem Mount Zion again I would encourage you to work through if that if that kind of like man that might throw me for a little bit of look just work to the notes only think through the cave it might help a bit and that that battle would be gone or the ending of it's the final battle where Jesus will actually slay the Antichrist in open field somewhere somewhere in this region of Jerusalem Jesus will slay the Antichrist and actually kill him the scripture say in Habakkuk 3 he will Jesus will will like slay him between neck and thigh I don't know that is like it and then guys this is stop messing you up man it says that once Jesus comes into this region with his angels and their slain Antichrist and his allies in this area because the nations are going to be surrounding Jerusalem at this time and there's rumour from the east and from the north possibly I put this as a question mark possibly China and even quote Russia there's going to be nations gathered around Jerusalem to come for this time and they've been brought there by the Lord but Jesus is going to begin working and slaying them as well here's what's crazy man and again I want you to work through the passages on this says that not only is Jesus this includes the Antichrist after he slays them there's going to be according to Zachariah 14 verses like 12 to 15 again in the notes there's going to be what's called the God calls it my sacrifice let me let let me read a couple of points just to say because I want you to hear this I think it'll really help understand what's what's what's be ready to unfold here at this time this is on page three about halfway down they have the Lord the battle of Armageddon or Jerusalem coming from Edom Jesus will come to Mount of all us seemingly liberating Jews and Jerusalem in the midst of the great earthquake and I gave you the passage is there as he begins the battle of four Jerusalem Armageddon this battle's fat fault in the valley of Jahashifat which is the valley of decision outside Jerusalem Joe three it is the battle of the great day of God Almighty Revelation 16 and the place for the great supper of God Revelation 19 also known as the day of great slaughter and God's great sacrifice and what's going to happen in this battle is when Jesus kills them they're gonna be lame and it says that God according to Zachariah 14 we read this because man this is like what God God says that he's going to do this Zachariah 14 verse 12 now this will be the plague which will strike all the people who have gone the war against Jerusalem their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet this sounds nuclear to me I don't know man their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet their eyes will rot in their sockets and their tongue were rot in their mouth and there this is the day of great panic from the Lord will fall upon them and seize one another's hand and they will be lifted hand against one another and he's talking about the surrounding nations of Israel in the context but here's what's crazy guys according to Ezekiel 39 Revelation 19 and all these passages God's going to call the great sacrifice God's going to call vultures and birds and even beasts of the fields and they're going to come and eat the flesh of all of these who've been sacrificed and been killed in this region and in that scripture it even specifies kings no doubt bro it literally is like vultures going to feed on the kings of man and they're gonna drink their blood and eat their flesh and then here's what's crazy again this is this is Ezekiel 39 it says for seven months Jews are going to be burying bodies east of the sea I don't think it would be here maybe in God's but I think it's probably east of the sea will be here at the Dead Sea they're going to bury bodies for seven months Jews because they're cleansing the land because Messiah has come and the land must be cleansed as a side note I don't think they're gonna be buried in bodies I think they're gonna be buried in bones because the predators the beast the birds have come and eat their flesh and drink their blood they're just gonna be bones everywhere and Jews for seven months are gonna bury them once Jesus comes it's gonna set up shop in Jerusalem and next week we'll talk about what's that going to look like when he comes to reign and rule in this kingdom this is just fascinating to me in a lot of ways but it's gruesome and but it is God's story and I want to know God's story and if he's in the scriptures I want to know guys we try to teach we try to talk through this it's hard to do justice but I would strongly encourage you guys to just like walk through the notes because you'll see more a lot more than I even put he said something about learning so I figured that's that a lot of the people that have made it that's already the recording vote just can actually swallow bones the link like see all the length of their body and digest it they can literally just hook them down and yeah so maybe it may not be that many bones left I will give give you guys a quick context this is also Matthew 24 but in Luke 17 the Pharisees asked Jesus when's the kingdom come and Jesus is the kingdom comes and it will come suddenly upon you just like flashing east lightning flashes from the east so we'll be the coming of the Son of Man and he says to come into the Son of Man we'll be just like in the days of Noah you know they were doing business as usual and the flood came day of the Lord Jesus coming the like the days of Noah and he said just as it was days in the days of the Solomon the more it will be in the coming of some days coming of the son of man and then he says it will rain brimstone in fire from heaven and he's simply saying that that the day of the Lord is going to be like a flood he's going to be like the fire coming upon Solomon the Gomorrah again this is the context of Luke 17 when you get to the end this is so fascinating you got a camera it says like in verse 34 of Luke 17 I tell you on that night there will be two men in the bed one will be taken we're not talking homosexuals or I'm just kind of messing but that's interesting there will be two men in the bed one will be taken and the other will be left then there will be women grinding at the same place one will be taken and the other will be left it's not the rapture they're taking the judgment because the whole context is they have the Lord judgment but some some are going to be left okay and then you get down to verse 36 two men will be in the field one will be taken and one will be left and verse 37 the disciples are sitting there can you imagine they sitting there listening to Jesus and all of a sudden the disciples asked the question they said Lord where are they going to be taken and Jesus says where the body is there will the vultures be gathered in his quoting is equal 39 that there will be those that will be you know two will be together one will be taken to judgment and the other in other words be taken to death and the other will be left two women grinding one will be taken one will be left and simply what he's saying is that where are they taking Lord where are they going to be taken to they're going to be taken to death and judgment and where the vultures are so this is a prominent theme in the prophets that God's going to call birds and beast of the fields and they're going to come to this region and they're going to eat flesh drink blood and bodies everywhere will just be bones and again they're going to according to ZQ 39 they're going to bury them for seven months on the other side I think of the Dead Sea as just blows my mind okay there's a lot more here I would encourage you one other thing guys if you've been reading the thief comes in the night thief thief I gave you not on the flood is judgment but the thief context and there's about six passages in the New Testament for the thief the thief is never spoken in the context of believers it's spoken connected to unbelievers because what does the thief do the thief comes and steal and Jesus is speaking himself as a thief he will come suddenly unexpectedly and take something their life is the context and you can read those passages like a fluid like a thief I've got those in the notes would be very helpful for you I think okay I think there's probably some firing of some thought we're basically done so you know guys if somebody needs to go for free but I know some guys have their lives open and want to fire some thoughts and questions let's just take a few moments anybody again everybody you free you go if you need to alright I think it's around 2005 somewhere around there I know it said we used to go and I was still working I was looking through some news articles and one of them jumped off the page at New York was about how the Jews had in the people of Israel that lived in Israel had just fallen in love with the condolors the bultures because they had gotten kind of scarce and so what they thought of doing was building nest in the mountains instead of so that it would build up the population and said they were just falling in love with the condors they would take two roots and go out and they're trying to build up that that population the Lord's putting it in their heart that's kind of that was what really struck me because you know he talks about the birds and the carrying birds coming and eating the plant and so they're building up the population for that wow and they don't know it I like that juxtaposition of the married supper of the lamb that we await and then the supper of the dams that the Lord initiates he calls it he calls it the great supper so there's two-faced man oh god you either be you either eat or be eaten can I just say I'm really glad we're still going to be eating steak and meat and hey but honestly we're gonna go there next week may not be by baby we're gonna talk about that next week but New York Strat come on we're gonna have some Jerusalem meat man cooked by priest so David years ago work I worked through all of this and I remember coming up with a slightly different flow for the beginning I don't really think it's valid anymore but I know this judgment talked about for a month Moa and then Edom such it down here so these two nations here also come under judgment yeah I will put them in modern day Jordan Edom in that region probably another another passage just a message from my and I actually actually put this in the notes is it says he stops his threshing in a cereal but the fact that he's in the air over Jerusalem coming to Egypt first so I put it in the notes where is it we know it's from a series down to Egypt is the region and I didn't even go into this revelation 14 says that Jesus would tread the wine press outside of Jerusalem or a distance of 200 miles so if you go from a series from Jerusalem to a Syria from Jerusalem down to Egypt that region is 200 miles each way see John bless you bro so I'm just saying Jesus trading the wine press the wine press is from the region of a Syria down to Egypt and memory in Isaiah 11 that Bob read he says he will his hand will be over the river the Great River which is the Euphrates hand down to the Red Seed so you know there's some passages here you got to work to inside here would you say camera there's I think there's well I think it's in Germana can't remember there's like this long sequence of judgment yes nation passages and it goes in an order Aemon Moab Eden and so I just wondered like is part of the maybe the Adam portion in working down the side of the Red Sea there and then coming up from Eden could be the so he could come I think he's coming to Egypt well over Jerusalem then he's coming to Egypt on a swift cloud that's when he begins to liberate Jews and he's coming up so Cameron you could be he comes on through Eden and up to a Syria and does some work because there's many a Syria or modern day Syria is matching quite a bit in the prophets as to places that Jesus will be liberating Jews as well so man the only problem is we don't have tons of text and I think these texts really help kind of put some of the puzzle together and guys y'all know what is going on right we're trying to put a puzzle together and it's very difficult so there might be you guys just be reading the prophet Jeremiah tomorrow morning and all the sun you're like oh my gosh man like maybe this fits right there so I'm just saying work through it think through it but I believe this is this is in the this is in the region or in the category of the way I think things are gonna float so yeah I just don't want to go so can you point where the Valley of Jerusalem is so it's not if the battle isn't happening anymore yeah it's outside of Jerusalem in the region of the Kidron Valley would it be in the original Valley of Jerusalem to the south yet so the Kidron Valley runs down through between the temple mount and the Mount of Allah's and then it comes down around the south side of Jerusalem the temple around so it's that region and that's where originally I mean eventually getting it is going to be right the Valley of it known outside of Jerusalem where the lake of fire will be but at this point I think we're talking about a region that well this is so hard you know but his name of all is it's like literally just like off of it out temple mount and and the I would encourage you to like cam and any rest Joe three is the passage where he's speaking of the Valley of Jerusalem so again if you take all these passages and put them together there's no passage not one that speaks of and look like up in the north in the area called Maghida it's Har Maghidden and every other place from the prophets speak of Jerusalem so man this is a difficult one because I know you know many times you hear modern prophecy guys they speak of some plane of Maghida but it's a plane it's not called the Mount Maghida and that that causes a problem I would encourage to do some research you know thank you continue to think there would have been what do you think about Daniel 1145 he will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful holy mountain yet he will come to his end and no one will help him which part the whole phrase the whole the whole pet yeah just as far as like between the seas will be the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean because he's speaking of he will pitch his tent somewhere but always imagine it's in Jerusalem I imagine it's like kind of like here right because this is the holy mountain but if he pitches his tent between the two seas between the two seas will be Jerusalem we're gonna say between the seas what does it say oh it does say what I'm saying is between the seas and the holy mountain okay so between these two seas because this will be between the sea and the river but the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean Jerusalem will be central there's like three points yeah so his royal pavilion between the seas and the holy mountain yeah he's got like some nonsense and I got a good deal with the dogs she's okay anyway I'm glad you don't need no Pepsi tonight but well I got through yeah I'm going to lay the hand on my feet do you get full yes I do I think we have

FAQs

It refers to a prophetic period beginning with a peace covenant, followed by three and a half years of peace and then three and a half years of tribulation, ending with the second coming of Christ.

Jesus returns over Jerusalem, resurrects the dead, raptures the living righteous, and begins judging divine entities and nations, leading to a period known as the day of the Lord.

It is a season, possibly lasting from a couple of weeks to 30 days, during which Jesus executes judgment on the wicked and establishes his kingdom, not just a single day.

It is Jesus liberating Jews from prison camps in places like Egypt and regathering them, leading them toward Jerusalem during the end times, similar to Moses leading Israel out of Egypt.

Jesus appears over Jerusalem first, causing the tribes of Israel to mourn, and it is the focal point for events like the resurrection, rapture, and the battle against the Antichrist.

The Antichrist stirs conflict in the Middle East, breaks a covenant midway through the seven years, and oppresses Jews, leading to their imprisonment and suffering during the tribulation.
