So on this episode, we are going to do our small business shout out segments. Then we're gonna roll into upgrades and downloads. Then last but not least, we're gonna do anime through Z. So for me to break those down, small business segment, shout out we're going to be, like it says, shout out small businesses, especially in this time of the year, the pandemic has hit small business owners, regular working Joe blows. We all trying to get that second hustling get that diversified funds and try to stay afloat. So I'm doing my best to shout out those people that are trying to just turn a little bit of coin and send you their way. Then on the upgrades and downloads, that's where I try to talk about a couple of any new gadgets I purchase and I think you should know about or any new apps that I think will worth your time and may help you pack this thing we call life. Then in anime through Z, I review the first four episodes of anime on a couple of my favorite platforms for streaming anime. So I give you my synopsis on that, then I give you what I think about it. And then you can hit me back if I, you can write me for trash. If I give it a bad review or you'd be like, thank you for saving me so much time 'cause I did not want to spend my life trying to watch something that everybody else said was good. This is small business shout out. These are a couple of small business owners that I find through Etsy or by other means, but typically Etsy 'cause I spend a lot of time there. And there are tons of creative, wonderful artists and custom creators on Etsy. If you're looking for some one of a kind custom items. Today's first small business is Body Fandom. You may have heard of them on Etsy. They popped up in my feed probably about a year ago. They basically have Body Care products surrounded around Geekdom. So I'm gonna read off their website description. How long they been in business? A little bit about their owner. Yadda, yadda, yadda. So Body Fandom is out of Los Angeles, California. They were established around 2018. Who is the owner and creator? A dope geek herself, the Lady Geek AKA Felina, discovered her passion for creating high quality natural body and bath products three years ago. She knew she had to share her passion and what does a Lady Geek do when she discovers a passion? She creates a fandom. What is Body Fandom? Where all the dopest of dope geeks get their handcrafted natural bath and body products. We handcraft small limited edition batches of soaps, butters, lotions and more inspired by pop culture, lit, film, television and gaming. Okay, she offers over 30 plus items to choose from on her Etsy site. So like I said, she's available on Instagram and Facebook and through Etsy. The most recent item that I saw on her website was in regards to the HBO Max show Lovecraft Country. She had products that were named after the main characters, Atticus and Letti. I haven't purchased any yet and I feel ashamed seeing it because like I said, I've been following her for about a year. I need to put my money where my mouth is because this stuff look good enough to eat. Don't do it. But it looks so creamy and smooth to the touch. So she has everything. She has, I think I saw some spider man related soaps. So yeah, she has scrubs, soaps, body butters. Just all of it just look luscious. So get your man, get your woman something nice. I mean, by the time this airs, it's gonna be too late to get it for Christmas 'cause shipping is hell right now. So still get 'em something. You can bring it in new year with some smell goods. Okay, so next up, I'm probably gonna pronounce this wrong but I know on their Etsy, it was related to medicine. So we're gonna say graphisan, pretty catchy name. The owners and graphic designers are Trun and Roxana Wax that it was established in 2019 from their Etsy and their website. It says graphisan is dedicated to bringing you the highest quality patches. We do not care about what's cool or trendy. We just want to make unique and exclusive patches. We are your number one source for types of patches like Cypherpunk, dark/mercab, and manga/anime patches. They started off as graphic designers. They saw the infinite possibilities in other aspects, ideas and mediums that could be elaborated on in the future. Streetwear was profoundly a niche for a graphisan to apply their aesthetics on and functions well with others. All items and products in this store are produced in high quality materials and produced on a very limited quantity. Most of the items will not be reprinted when it's gone, it's gone forever. So basically, like I said, I found them on Etsy and I was typing in anime patches. So I came across them, I was like, is this a patch? Is it a sticker? So I had to click on the item, the image of the item, and I zoomed in and this is the most ornate detail stitch work I've ever seen. So any one of your most favorite artists that you follow on Instagram that's at a high level of detail, this is them on a patch level. So the patches are pretty big. I want to say they can go from three to, don't quote me, but I think I'll go up to 12 inches so you can take a whole patch and put it on the back of a jacket. And the detail is crazy. I saw some for Ghost in the Shell, Akira. They had a lot of ninja mask, like they said, just ornate detail. A lot of it is cyber punk driven. So if that's your genre, your niche, your money would be well spent there. Like I said, you won't find another patch like them. There are tons of beautiful patches. I follow a lot of them. I save a lot of them, but nothing like Graphicin. So check them out. They have an Instagram and a Facebook and a website. So Graphicin.com is g-r-a-p-h-i-c-i-n-e.com. OK, the next one is La Bella Mi Mariana. I don't know if anybody saw around Halloween time. I bought these bags of blood. And I'm one of the people I hate blood, but it was just something about this. I was like, oh, that looks fun. So basically the bag of blood was body wash and bubble bath. They came in a million different scents. Again, something else that look and smell so good, you just want to eat it. But you shouldn't. They were reasonably priced. Like I said, they had a wide selection of scents. So for everybody, men, women, anybody that wanted to use these items. So on their Etsy website, let me break this down. So they are from-- well, she is from Boise, Idaho. The owner's name is Jackie. She started on Etsy this year, 2020. So from her description, she says, creating beautiful products for beautiful people. you did. I know I was glad. And this stuff sells out fast. So like particularly around Halloween, those blood bags, everybody's looking for something creepy. I think I got two. And before I knew it, they were sold out. So she sent me a little sample and it was like a mango scent. And I shit about it when I saw it because I went a couple of days ago, sold out. So I'm telling you, these people got some great products and you don't want to miss out on it. So get it while it's hot because it'll be gone. I don't know if and when it's coming back. Okay, my next one is divine madness out of Great Falls, Montana, established on Etsy 2020. Okay, so from their description, it says, take your beauty and health to the next level by shopping with divine madness. We aspire to give you everything you've been missing. So I found them also on Etsy when I was looking for some hair products for my daughter myself. So we both have very different hair types. Black women, you know, we got a million different curl types. So my daughter has a tight curl. You can barely see the scalp. It's like a forest, but a hair comes all the way down to a butt. This sister need moisture, moisture, moisture. Me, on the other hand, my hair has been thinning since I had my daughter. I used to have thick, you know, fluffy hair like she did, but it's now it's fine. So I was looking something to grow it back in and just keep it healthy and moisturizing, reduce splitting and same with my daughter. So we got a couple of the moisturizing conditioners, leaving conditioners. And they worked perfectly. We figured out the magic solution for my hair and my daughter's hair. Vivian actually has a Kickstarter campaign going on right now. If you're into helping small businesses through Kickstarter, it ends in less than 13 days. So here's the description says, "Hello, everyone. Welcome to my fruit basket zodiac enamel pens. Each pen will be 1.75 inches and rows gold pleated. Some pens may have screen have been screenpins. I cannot talk today. Some pens may have screen printing. Each backer will also receive free stickers and I am hoping we could unlock all of these. There is a possibility that I may change the order depending on the popularity of each design, but I am hoping that we can just unlock them all. So she has some beautiful pens on there. I think I bought a couple of them last year. One of them was a otaku pen. So it had like all the different genres of being an otaku. So anime, comic books, whatever else you can think of. So it has all these little emblems of an otaku on it. Reasonably price, a couple of them that I saw were rows gold pleated if that's your thing. And I should go back and buy more. I'm always trying to support people that's why I'm trying to put this out. So if you like any of these, the first place you want to look is Etsy. That's where I get all my stuff. That's where a lot of people have been opening up shops during this corona time looking for some extra income. So that it's today's show on the small business shout out. Okay, welcome y'all. Welcome back to another brand new episode of geeky sexual intellectual. And I really didn't mean to say that. I meant to say the new segments that I am presenting for all of my listeners. So as I said in my last show, I want to switch it up for 2021 change for all the new and great things to come to us. Hopefully we don't need no aliens, no other bullshit to go down in the new year. So this new segment is called upgrades and downloads. So basically what we're talking about is any cool new apps that I find for download, whether they be games or different apps to help you hack this social media game. So today's first app, I don't know if you where you've been, but it is really trending right now. It's called the Clubhouse Clubhouse app. If you don't know what that is, this is directly from the developer's website. So it says what is Clubhouse? Clubhouse is a new type of network based on voice app. When you open the app, you can see rooms full of people talking all open so you can hop in and out, explore different conversations. You enter each room as an audience member. But if you want to talk, just raise your hand and the speakers can choose to invite you up. Or you can create a room of your own. It's a place to meet with friends and with new people around the world to talk stories, ask questions, debate, learn, and have impromptu conversations on thousands of different topics. Clubhouse is a voice only, and we think voice is a very special medium. With no camera on, you don't have to worry about eye contact or what you're wearing or where you are. You can talk on Clubhouse while you're folding laundry, breastfeeding, commuting, working on your couch in the basement, or going for run. Instead of typing something and hitting send, you're engaged in a back and forth dialogue with others. The annotation and inflection and emotion convey through your voice allow you to pick up the nuances and form uniquely human connections with others. You can still challenge each other and have tough conversations. But with the voice, there is often an ability to build more empathy. This is what drew us to the medium. Over the past three months on Clubhouse, people have shared their story and dismay about Supreme Court decisions, their fillings of anger and helplessness over the murder of George Floyd, and their struggles navigating the challenges of home and work doing COVID-19. There have been rooms with people from all walks of life finding common ground. We've seen people host book clubs, fireside chats, passionate debates, and comedy shows. When people have fallen asleep late at night, others in the room have tucked them in, quietly sending them back to the audience in order to mute their microphone. People seem to be coming back because it's a place where they can talk for hours at a time and leave each day feeling better rather than worse, because they've deepened friendships, built new ones, and learned something new. Okay, it says why isn't it open to the public? Because I was invited to Clubhouse app by Caramahorn, the blurred girl, and I was like, "Oh, what kind of snazzy shit is this?" You got to be invited. And what sparked me when she sent it to me? I was like, "What is Clubhouse?" So I looked it up and the first thing I saw was Oprah is on Clubhouse. I was like, "Oh, they got wrist-bitches in here. I'm gonna see who else in here besides Caramah." So this is what why is it not open to the public? We are building Clubhouse for everyone and working to make it available to the world as quickly as possible. It's not intended to be exclusive. We just aren't ready to ship the general release version yet. There are two reasons for this. First, we think it's important to grow community slowly rather than ten times in it, the user base overnight. This helps ensure that things don't break, keep the composition of the community diverse, and allows us to tune the product as it grows. Second, we are a small team and we haven't yet finished building the features that will allow us to handle more people. Right now, the two of us, I'm not sure who those people are, I need to research that, are the only full-time employees. We've benefited from the support of many and are actively hiring, but between infrastructure scaling, feature development, gathering product feedback, and general company building, there haven't been many share hours, I'm sorry, spare hours in the day, Plus, we have four young kids between us.
jumping on our keyboards as we type. So it sounds like some people like me. I do need to look them up because I'm always here cheering on parents trying to make a way for their future and the legacy of their children. So like I said, I was invited to Clubhouse by Karen Mahorn at the blurred girl. So I logged in. You have to have a special link. It has a phone number connected to it. So when you log in, you have to use that number that was in the link. So when you get in, you see like they stated rooms. And I was like, what's his rooms all about? Think about it, Clubhouse. So the different rooms, they're titled, they could be from anything from Geek Culture Anime. I've seen it all. So you want to do a podcast, how to start a business, how to save, how to buy a real estate. So you have moderators within the room. You can invite people into the rooms that you follow. Like I said, you can raise your hand if you want to make a statement, tell a story. What have you? I haven't been bold enough to do that yet, but I have listened to a couple of hours worth of conversations. The majority of the rooms that I've been in have been very beneficial intellectual conversations. People have taken turns. Pretty much everybody's mic is quieted unless the moderated decides to do otherwise. Like I said, you can be invited to speak on stage. They call them stages. A couple of the rooms are very organized. So as you raise your hand, they let people in, as your name pops up in the road. So there'll be other people ahead of you once they get to your name. And it's just like first come first serve. Then you can say your piece, rehash your discussion or a topic. And then they'll move on. Now I will say maybe five percent of the rooms I've been in been straight ratchet. It's a lot of talking over each other. The moderating got their stuff together. But like I said, there's been small and in between. I think it's the age thing and how not that all conversations are important. But when people are in there seriously trying to help each other and suggest different ideas and different, I don't know, just different ideals. It seems to be a more responsible audience. They know how to take, take turns, give everybody a chance to speak. So I think this is going to be a very successful app, especially in the time that it came out in COVID because a lot of people have been feeling alone. There's some single parents that have been out there raising their kids. There's just them. They have no adult interaction. This has helped like even just to hear people's voices. And just to hear the empathy and their voices for each other and their situations in the tribes and tribulations, whatever the case is, is therapeutic also. I've heard a couple of rooms where celebrities have been in there that offer a great advice that you probably couldn't pay for. So I think it's a great platform. Like they said, as they get it all down and they open it up, it's going to be a little bit more to chorale. I don't know how they're going to, I don't know, keep it under wraps when it comes to trolls and harassing rooms and the regulatory rooms. But we'll see how that goes before right now. 95% of it is cheese. So I see this growing to be bigger and better. So if you're so lucky to get an invite, welcome to the clubhouse. Yes. So that is our first step. The second app, I think a lot of you have heard of it. If you're not a content creator, you might be after this. It's called Canva. So it's basically a social media or just graphic design platform. There's pretty much free. You can do a ton of things with it. You can create social posts. You can create media kids, posters, resumes, anything your mind can fathom. You can create in Canva. If you pay for it, it's 1299 for the pro subscription. And then you have animated features. So you can animate your text, the way they flow in and flow out. You can add music. You can even make intros for YouTube videos. You can do so much. And I can't, the list goes on. Whatever your mind can come up with, you can do inside of Canva, Canva outside of drawing. The only differences I would say is between the app and the website platforms and usability. You can do 10 times as more online through your desktop than you can at your phone. What I kind of do is kind of marry them together. If I have something within my phone that I want to do a little bit more with, I uploaded through the app on my phone. And then I go into my desktop and do all the other features like you, as far as I know on Android, you can't add the copyrighted music that they have on your phone. But you can go in on the website with that same creative you're trying to build and drop the music in that way. So I suggest if this is something you need in your life to cut down on the hours you spend trying to build it. Because before Canva came along, I was building everything in Photoshop. And this is so seamless and it cuts your time by, I don't know, more than half to design and just upload. It's just that fast. At the most, a design could take you 10 minutes. And that's on the high end. But I highly suggested the more you use it, the more familiar it becomes. It's easier and easier every time you use it, I could build something in my sleep through Canva. So if you enter that, get that 1299, cut out, I'll let extra work you've been doing. You can even do greeting cards. You don't have to be a content creator. You can use it for your own personal, anything, greeting cards, business cards. You can even create simple logos. So it's something in there for everybody. So I suggest downloading Canva today, free or paid, either way, is beneficial. My last app that I want to talk about is Etsy. Everybody's heard of Etsy. I've really been on Etsy a lot through this pandemic. First of all, it's a lot of quality items. People spend a lot of time trying to push out quality products. The number two, pandemic, a lot of people lost their jobs. A lot of people hated over their Etsy to figure out how to make it living. So that was my way of supporting small businesses and getting quality items. Well, not on the cheap. It just depends on what the items you were trying to procure, if you will. So I would say go over there and find you a couple of items from some small business owners. I put a lot of them on my Instagram page. If you want to find them, I also have my favorites list on Etsy. This is the first ever episode of anime through Z. You heard it right. So this will be having spoilers. I just want to let you know there right now because a couple of times in the past, I recorded a couple things and I don't let you know with spoilers. There are spoilers. So basically A through Z is me watching anime A through Z. So old anime, new anime blah, blah, blah. I'm going through all of my streaming platforms, which include Funimation, Crunchyroll, Retro Crush, and anywhere else I find anime, maybe Amazon Prime. So anyway, like I said, I'm watching anime A through Z and I will hopefully start letting you guys know when I'm watching for the next show. So you can watch them with me if you like. So what I'm going to typically do for each show that I review, I'm going to watch the first four episodes, give you synopsis on that show and then give you my review on that show, whether I loved it or I hated it. So for this episode, the anime that I'm reviewing is Zero Seven Ghost. According to Wikipedia, Zero Seven Ghost is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuki Amamiya and Yukino Ichihara. Let me see here. It is set in a fantasy world with different laws, kingdoms, guides, and magic. It was serialized in monthly comic Zero Sum, a Joe Say manga magazine published monthly by Ichijinsha. Seventeen bound volumes have been released by the publisher. The manga was originally licensed to go comey for releasing the North America, but they stopped publishing in October 2009 and Viz Media has since picked up the license for the series. The series has been adopted into a drama and a anime television series from Studio Deen, which debuted in April 2009. Zero Seven Ghost won a double first prize in the third Zero Sum comics Grand Prix, meaning it was chosen for first place by both readers and editors. Okay.
So basically zero, seven, just a quick overall synopsis of the show or I guess I got this from Crunchyroll. So T's on Merse, I'm reading for you all y'all. I'm out here trying to do Read Rainbow for you mofos, okay? T'sed unmercifully for his past as an orphan and a slave, a teen, climb, why don't I want to say teen for everything? His man's name is 19, his tip to climb has only his friend Mikage and his mastery of the magical art of Zyphon to ease his days at the Elite Barzburg Academy. So the original run of this show was April 7, 2009 to September 22nd of 2009 and there are 25 episodes, again I'm only going to do the first four episodes. So starting with episode one and I am butchering this man's name, I don't know why I sound better in my head when I speak Japanese, that helps no one. So the main character, his name is take tol climb is a young student at the Barzburg Military Academy in the same dorm with his best friend Mikage. They're getting ready for the graduation exam using their abilities, the Zyphon. That through sees a vision about a dark secret pertaining to his hidden past which he is unable to remember and attempts to assassinate Ayyennami, the man who killed his father, but he is captured and sent to a sale. He plans to escape alone, however, when Mikage arrives at his sale to rescue him, he ends up escaping with the help of Mikage and manages to break free from the academy. So if I recall, they missed a lot in this description, but it's the typical, you know, boy has struggle in life, boy is shut down emotionally and boy has an overly emotional friend, that's this whole scenario. I kind of like his friend Mikage, he seems like he has a lot of hope and so they end up making a promise to each other if they ever see battle and they're in war, even if they're not in the same platoon, they'll lay down their lives to save each other so I thought that was pretty cool. And that was pretty much that episode, episode two, three men are riding on a hawk zile while tattoo crashes into one of them, one of the men, his name is from, I think that's how you pronounce that. And tattoo is brought into the church tattoo attempts to escape all of it be brought back into the church. The three men introduced themselves as frowel, caster and labrador, all bishops of the church, which lies in the seventh district of the barsburg empire. They ask him his name, but say, but he didn't say, what am I trying to say, he wouldn't tell him his name. But when they see tattoo is hesitant, they leave him alone, tattoo wonders why the bishops and sisters are all very kind to him, tattoo wonders about the condition of Mikage, who had helped him escape from the academy, tattoo enters the library wishing to know more about his murky past and his connection to the rags kingdom, but ends up finding one of frowel's porn magazines, which frowel hid in the library. His dead caster tells him about the rags war. He decides to find out about the truth, about the rags kingdom and his past. Meanwhile, back at the academy, Mikage is questioned by a young, what can I not pronounce? Y'all gonna get this every single time, okay, I got some special for y'all at the end of the show. But anyway, Ayyanami, bam, got it as, as to whether he helped take to escape or not. And he refuses to answer, Ayyanami gives him a choice, either to save his family, which he treasures or to save tattoo, okay, so that was kind of messed up that whole episode. But hey, oh boy, what's his name, Mikage, he was like, I'm not giving up, I'm not giving him a friend up, that's a right-a-die right there, that really stuck after me, because he was like, ah, my family, ah, he's my fuck, it's cutthroat, but he was like, nope, my family would be proud of me if I don't give up my buddy, I was like, buddy, you know this old. So episode three, tattoo is about to leave the church when instead he is brought to a place that seems to be the cafeteria by fraul. Though tattoo brings, I'm sorry, though tattoo begins to look for something else to eat when he sees that the meal of the day is iced dude, that was disgusting, I was starving at that place. The sisters ask him his name, but yet again, he hesitates. They say it's all right for him not to say his name, later, tattoo stumbles upon an old man who tells tattoo he can grant his wishes if he goes to the same spot at midnight. Tattoo decides to, he decides to leave the church and help Mikage, tattoo then decides to run off by himself at night. Fraul interrupts his thoughts, telling him that it may be his fate that he came to the church. Fraul and Tattoo fight using Zyphon powers, that was pretty cool on the bridge, ah, Tattoo was not giving any fucks to Fraul, Fraul was like, I'm giving mutually non-fucks because your little powers aren't working here, sir. So they fight it out during the fight Tattoo reveals his name, they continue to fight, but Fraul is too strong, gains upper hand and punches Tattoo, making him fall unconscious. Castor realizes that Tattoo is a member of the academy, as only those people have the ability to wield the Zyphon power. After waking up, Tattoo decides to go to the courtyard where he sees the old man from before. Fraul realizes that something is wrong, and the meantime Mikage at the academy is still unsure of which side to choose, either saving Tattoo, why am I saying, I think I'm saying it Portuguese, that is not how you pronounce his name, oh my god, Tattoo or his family, namely his sister, because it fucking was his name, um, I've been chopping up his name too. Ayanami has old boy sister there to make it even harder to make a decision between his family or his homeboy. So down to episode four, Tattoo talks with the old man and tells him his wish to see Mikage again. The old man places an odd symbol on Tattoo's neck, while Tattoo has a vision that he saw Mikage and runs towards him. The flower that Labrador, which they left that out of the synopsis, Labrador actually gave him a flower of protection. So Tattoo remembers the flower that Labrador gave him from before and stops him. He realizes that the bishops are there in front of him. Fraul begins to attack the old man who turns out to be a core. Fraul brings out from his arm a large site, and he is shocked that Tattoo can see it. The bishops fight the man, and Tattoo wants to help. Fraul tells him he will only hurt the old man's soul, basically. Fraul manages to release the core from the old man's soul and then gets rid of the symbol of Tattoo's chest. Tattoo asks, "Caster, what a core is. Chores are creatures that tamper with men's desires. They grant the man's wish, but he or she is then put into a string of dark events in which the person is never satisfied with his or her wishes and eventually falls into darkness. Becoming a host for the core, in the morning, Tattoo is greeted by the sisters who want to do his laundry. Tattoo is running away, and when he bumps into Fraul, who throws his underwear up, Tattoo catches it but falls into the fountain where he meets Lazette, a mermaid. And in rage, Ayyonymi releases a surge of Zyphon at Makake. So I read all those descriptions for you and I'ma tell you a little secret, okay? I don't remember a majority of that, but I do remember some of it they left out. So these are the questions that I'm going to start asking myself or my, myself and my guests on future episodes. So question number one, did you become emotionally invested in the main protagonist or any of the supporting characters? And did you care about his or her backstory or his or her current situation slash hardship that they are journeying through? I didn't care about any of these stories. I guess they didn't get enough, I don't think they gave me enough backstory. One minute, you see some kind of weird dream at the beginning of episode one, then you see that they're through waking up in the school at the academy and then you just see some boys talking to him like they always doing anime and then they go through these tests to train to see who's going to get picked for the academy that, what's his name? That dog it. I'm going to chop it up again. Ayyonymi is trying to pick recruits.
I guess for the army. So, I just, I wasn't feeling it. I wasn't enough in those first four episodes. A lot of anime do really great at that. Building character background and world building and I just wasn't feeling it here. Okay, so episode, I'm not sorry, not episode question. Was the plot strong out of the gate, or was it a little loose and rough around edges? Oh, yes, it was loose and rough. Like I said, I wasn't, it wasn't tangible enough to keep my attention. Question number three, did the anime have strong world building aspects in the first four episodes? They tried, they named a lot of different districts where they were. The church tried to name what district it was in and what laws they abided by and that the government didn't have any power over their church. And I was like, huh, okay, yeah, you just saw a lot of big fortresses and the insides, you didn't see a lot of the land, you didn't see a lot of the people, except for the poor people that came through the church. So first four episodes, no, not a lot of world building there. Okay, next question, whether any aspects of this story that you enjoyed or hated so far, I wouldn't say hated, but I didn't like it at all. There was nothing that I loved about it. So yeah, there. Did you enjoy the art and or the animation style? The animation style was, you know, that old school thin character show Joe style, not a lot of cool choreography for the fight scenes. So that's gonna be a note for me. Are there any memorable scenes that you can think of? No, not at all. And I hate that, you know, I have to do it in order. Like I said, the show is called A through Z. So if I had to watch this, I would not have watched this because I can't remember anything important or anything that stuck out to me. Would you continue to watch or finish this anime? I will not be finishing zero seven ghosts. If anybody's seen this from beginning to end, please let me know because as of now, this is a throw away for me. So if you can tell me anything to make me keep watching, don't spoil it for me, but just give me some detail, some hope if I'm gonna continue to watch these episodes. I think I said what, it was a 22, 22 episodes, 25 episodes and I'm only four in and I feel this way. So like I said, let me know. All right, so this is the part of the show where I give it a ratings. So out of five, how many Wagashi's would you give this series? Just from watching the first four episodes. So if anybody doesn't know what a Wagashi is, if, and I'm probably saying they're wrong too, you see the Wagashi or Wagashi, I don't know. Wagashi's are Japanese sweets that were traditionally enjoyed with tea. These include daifuku or mochi rice cakes filled with sweetened bean base. Dango, sweet rice dumplings typically served with three or four pieces together on a skewer. And Yokan, a jelly dessert filled with native Japanese flavors. So that's how we score. So one to five Wagashi's. This show on the first four episodes, I am giving one Wagashi. No sweets, no sweets for this show. All right, so we're coming to the close of this episode and every episode on anime through Z, I want to try to say a Japanese phrase since I thoroughly screw up the character's names. And I'm so mad at myself, I've been watching anime since the '90s. And I can tell you, seen by scene of my favorite anime, but ask me how to say their names. Ask me to remember their names. I can just take my money, just let me. 'Cause I'm not gonna be able to pronounce it or remember their names. So the phrase of today in English is wearing masks are a part of our lives now. So I'm gonna let you hear how Google translate says I should be saying it. And then I'm gonna try to pronounce. Here we go. That is a lot. Just to say we're wearing, I'm sorry, wearing masks are a part of our lives now. So I'm gonna repeat that. And here we go, my poor pronunciation of Japanese. So, "Wata shitashi" "Wata shitachi" "No seikatsu no ichiabu desu." Now, let me hear her say it again. And I say it, "Hell is love." That is not what I say. Okay, if you all can say it better, please, send it to me so I can hear it. So I don't be out here making a fool of myself, all by myself. And no, I'm not gonna say it again. I chopped all that up real bad. But maybe in the future, I'll get better without this practice. All right, y'all.
