RYAN DAY GETS REVENGE, ALABAMA SURVIVES IRON BOWL, RIVALRY WEEK IS COMPLETE - WEEK 14 REACTION

The episode centers on Ohio State’s decisive victory over Michigan in a snowy, high-stakes rivalry game, emphasizing Ohio State’s superior talent, depth, and team cohesion. Julian Sayon’s performance contrasted sharply with Michigan’s inconsistent quarterback, Bryce Underwood, whose offense showed minimal progress throughout the season. The game’s final moments, including a disputed goal-line play, sparked debate but had no significant impact on the outcome. The analysis also covers Texas A&M’s loss to Texas, attributing it to a disciplined defensive scheme that disrupted their offense and exposed weaknesses in their game plan. The discussion critiques the subjectivity of playoff eligibility, highlighting how scheduling and media narratives distort perceptions of team strength. Additional segments spotlight underappreciated programs like Vanderbilt, whose surprising victory over Tennessee signals a potential shift in SEC dynamics, and Miami, where a breakout true freshman, Malachi Tony, stands out as a game-changing talent. The episode concludes with a lighthearted satire of Ole Miss’s fake jersey incident, illustrating the intense media and fan culture that surrounds college football, where deception, drama, and loyalty often take precedence over pure athletic performance. Despite the focus on specific games, the overarching theme is the evolving nature of college football—where talent, narrative, and media influence shape outcomes as much as on-field results.

Tonight we'll never be the same shop now on Walmart.com Hello, welcome to unnecessary roughness on rivalry, rivalry weekend, there you go, you got it, you got it. It's rivalry Saturday, right after, right after the hour bow, right after SMU tries a game time bill gold, it is left wanting. We have a passive full, we have a set full of college football for you. We got a college football. We got my team losing in a humiliating fashion. We got text saying, "I'm losing." We got LSU losing. We got UCLA. Did LSU really lose? Did LSU really lose? We'll get there. Our one winner is stuck on a tarmac in Detroit, Michigan, trying to get back from his win. He's been on a plane for three hours and hasn't taken off yet. So our one winner, our Ohio State guy, not here yet. He's hoping to get here by the end, but he is absolutely fat and stuck and happy somewhere in Detroit, Michigan. When he said that he was just going to jump off the plane and just do it right at the gate because he knows how empty the airport would be, you only can do that if you're a winner. If you're a loser, you're not offering up that information. You're just giving the tag the role in hell. You're a winner. I don't know. I guess I'll just go sit outside, fucking B17 and tune in. Yeah, he is absolutely stuck in airport hell right now. If you, you know, Casey's in New York, but the rest of us are in Chicago and it hasn't fucking stopped snowing for, you know, from amazing, dude. It's fucking awesome. It's incredible. I'm out in the Midwest right now. You're kind of asked out, twisted tea, delicious hard ice tea. I'm holding the original right here. So is tea, Bob. I think it goes better on a nice brisk Saturday than twisted tea. If you've had family over, you know, it gives you twisted tea in Turkey. We thank them for swatching the pod. Okay. Brandon, hold on. Really quick. Really quick. Shout out to twisted tea because the, you know, everybody likes to take to go plates left over plates, whatever you want to call them on Thanksgiving, right? So I was making little bags of to go plates for people and I was putting twisted tea in each one as like a nice little side. So it's just so good and they're going to all have their to go plates and then they're going to get home and be surprised like, oh, a little nice twisted tea. So thank you for twisted tea for making me look super domestic. I appreciate that. Thank you, Bob. That's a, that's a woman right there. That's a classy woman who wants everybody happy on their way out that people ate at my house and they're about to leave. I'm like, y'all ain't got to go home, but you got to get the fuck out of here for everybody. I was, I was, I was, I was taking the whole thing, putting them in like little foil. I was doing the whole thing, but then I was like, like, I got a whole case of twisted tea that I probably don't need to have in my space at the moment. So they all got him. So shout out twisted tea for that. Also just so the audience knows I dig a week of brand and test one time and he was a great host. A lot of steak, delicious food all the way around. Watch part of Happy Gilmore to it was fantastic. As of right now, we believe LSU is gassing up an army of private planes to go to the coast to go rescue the Kiffin clan from Oxford, but we'll, we'll have that conversation when that conversation needs to be had right now football. And let's talk about the big game today with Ohio State Michigan. Casey's going to have her moment in the sun in a minute, guys, I'm going to have my moment in the sun. I can promise you that. So if you're in the chat being like, oh, welcome, we're going to get to all of it. We're going to get to all of it, but I kind of like, I wouldn't mind being Casey right now. Her team proved to be a frog. They lost in a humiliated fashion and that's what they take three weeks off and they got a fucking home playoff game. Probably sounds pretty fucking nice. Anyway. Hold on. Hold on. Can I say something really quick that this is, and I'll have my moment in the sun. We'll get there. I think baby Jesus so much that we did not go live last night. It would have been a whole different vibe. It would have been there. There was a lot of emotions. So I just will say that as much as I hated playing on Black Friday, thank God we weren't live last night. I just liked it. Let me let me own that one too, because she's saying she would have hated it, but she would have done it. The decision to not go live last night was, I kind of made that early in the week. I said, we're not going live on Friday night. I did not want to to dime you out on social media because I didn't really matter what people think to be honest, but I very much wanted to say just so everyone's clear. I was totally willing to go live both Friday and Saturday. That was a brand of walker call. And for Brandon, I thank you for that because it would have, I think I might have gotten fired last night if I was on this podcast. So before we get to the games today, I got to talk to some guys in chat because they're really owning me right now. Some LSU fans are pointing out that I might have been wrong about Lane Kiffin staying at Ole Miss and he might be going to LSU and, Colley, jeez, shucks, I just, they don't get it, Brandon. They don't know your game. They don't, they don't, they don't know Brandon Bitts, Liam. I'm just, I look at that L. Brandon, L. Brandon, L. Brandon, Brandon, Brandon, you're so wrong. Gosh, darn it. To heck, I-- Brandon, you-- Oh, heck. You really are the worst. Dang it. You know, you did this with your cute little dynamic duo bullshit, to which I called you Brandon Bitts on the college football show. Listen, the fact that you've caught up picked up, the fact that people haven't picked up on your, on your, uh, stick with this yet is absurd. I mean, this bit was so obvious you could have bought it in Walmart for, like, own Black Friday, own sale. It was even, like, looking through the comments on your Instagram, which, whether it was this one or your dynamic duo tape, whatever, and it was like, are you people brain dead? Like, truly? Like, how--how have you not figured this out yet? Well, let's start with something positive, shall we? Let's start with, uh, let's start with the Ohio State Buck guys and some exercising of demons earlier today for, uh, I think that everybody says it's been six years since they beat Michigan. Yeah, yeah, it has. But the COVID thing, four straight years, four straight years they lost, um, four straight games. They came up, uh, lame in this game, they, they, they got exposed. Last year, they had one of the most horrific losses you'll ever see since that moment, since that very moment. We've seen a new Ryan day, a different Ryan day, a different Ohio state. And T-Bop today was about going out on the field, taking everything from the last 365 days and putting it towards rectifying this rivalry in the way they saw fit. And that's exactly what Ohio State did, T-Bop. Yeah, there's, uh, there's multiple ways in which, uh, multiple narratives, multiple ways in which Ohio State got all the revenge and then some against Michigan today, Brandon. Um, I'll stick to kind of maybe talking about the game itself and leave F2Talk about maybe the larger kind of rivalry storylines here. But, um, look, the difference in quarterbacks in this game was absolutely massive. And I know that like too often we, we boiled down football to that, right? To just, okay, what was the quarterback quarterback magic? But as we talk about, when we get to Texas, Texas and him, I kind of found the quarterbacks to be somewhat irrelevant in that game and, and, and, and we'll get there a bit later on not the case in this game. Um, Julian Sayon has infinitely more threat to him than does Bryce Underwood at their, at this time in these settings in their respective careers. And it really showed in the high leverage moments. Every time Michigan had a third and long, they just felt absolutely hapless, dead in the water. You knew they weren't converting, whereas Julian Sayon more often than not was finding a way to make the play, including the fourth and five touchdown. It should have been a touchback. Wouldn't matter. Should have been. No, no, no. I. Okay. Let's, let's put a pin in that. Come back to that. Yeah. My bad, my bad. Because I wouldn't, I wouldn't get there yet because whenever. So, I mean, and so like, you know, I watch the game and they're like, I got to look up the high leverage stats. Right. Okay. What was third down? Sure enough. Ohio State 10 is 17 Michigan. One of nine. Um, and, and, and I would say Brandon the, the real, uh, uh, assault in the room for Michigan and the extra mental healing for Ohio State T here is how the book guys finished the game. They basically went into four minute offense halfway through the third quarter. And that feel goal drive that they put together was one of the most brutal beat them up, make a statement. I mean, are you shit me? 20 plays 81 yards, 12 minutes off the clock in the snow. In the big house, like it just, you could not have had a more emphatic rebuked of everything that Ohio State has done to Michigan for the last few years. Jason. The biggest difference to me was that Ohio State is just more talented across the board, not just a quarter back. T-bob is 100% correct without as well. But the entire roster from top to bottom, every phase, every position is just better at Ohio State. And then you have the Ryan Day factor where he was not going to- to come in and play pussy football at all. And even early in the game, you know, Michigan takes the three zero lead and you're like, Oh my God, is this about to happen? You have all the drama at the beginning. And I'm seeing they're watching like, I cannot believe that Ohio State's going to let Michigan potentially go up by 10 and they just never, the door was never open. I also believe it was a touchback. We can get to that. We can put the pin in it still. That doesn't matter. It does not matter if it was a touchback or not, whether the touchdown got taken away, Ohio State was the more talented, was the better coach, across the board. You know, it's a bigger question for Michigan fans moving forward. We don't have to dive into it tonight. Shron Moore just does not, and his whole staff, not just him, his whole staff just got absolutely bodied in every decision making possible today. And Ohio State did exactly what they needed to do. They exercised the demons. But if they weren't, if they were to even get let that game get close, it would have been embarrassing for Ohio State, because that's how much better this team is in Michigan. Just point blank, the talent is there. And if it wasn't a rivalry game in the snow, they probably would have beat him by more. Liam O'Neil on Thursday or Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't remember Monday. I know what it was. One of the days this week, you and I wrote on a piece of paper. You wrote, I believe, 35, 10 Ohio State. I wrote 28, 6, whoop. My score 27, 9 could have been worse. Thoughts, Whitman. I feel like you and I were able to play our glasses on, play our graduate hats on, and block out the outside noise and just truly say what that football game was, what it was going to be. I feel that you and I read it to a tee aside from the opening salvo where Michigan comes out and little boys of Ohio State in the first five minutes. And everyone is thinking, you know, here we go again, the response from Ohio State after that is impressive. I think it's a massive testament of where Ohio State is this year. How good this team is that they take those opening punches, the PTSD is firing on all cylinders. And you look up, it's a 79 lead at half time. And like Casey said, if the elements weren't in play, Ohio State's probably win that game somewhere around 41, 9, 48, 9, they will have romped the score, they will have absolutely body them, but they didn't in different fashion. Like T-bop said, they do it in the snow, they do it in the elements, they do it with bully ball, we're just better, more physical than you at every single focal point football. And I thought it was, you know, I disagreed big time with a punting decision that they made. And at the end of the game, he goes and the fourth and one fourth and two was a big time moment for Ryan Day, where they opt to go for it at midfield, just run the ball up the middle and pick up the first down. And I can't even imagine how, how, how that must have felt for him because yeah, that's what he wanted to do last year. That's why he tried so hard to do. And yeah, you're right, that had to feel like an out of body experience for him. I eyes on Michigan side, very quickly on Michigan side. I don't think there was a team that was more what we thought, what we thought they were all season. A team that was going to win nine games and never look impressive. A team that was going to nine win games, never pass a single test. The team that was going to win nine games and their coach should be completely on the hot seat. Like that, that was Michigan. Their quarterback never progressed. I mean, yeah, he did progress a little bit, but went a team little bit. Right. No moments where he moments where he did, but I agree with you, Lamy, like, if you look at the Oklahoma game, whatever week that was week two to today, like there wasn't a whole lot of progression in general from that offense. No, there was the third and eight play calls on, I believe the first series where they run. They basically, you know, I'm talking about T-Bob, where they basically just run the little spin and circle. Yeah, yeah, all the time, they were in the 70,000 times. They watched on Wub, like, trying to pick out plays for the film room, say everything, everything was predetermined for Bryce under with the season. We talked about it all year long, everything from play. So, you know, he didn't progress, but they didn't fucking try to progress. Right, right. I don't think it's right. Like, they're not coaching the kid. They try your dollars and wasted a year of this kid, like, they're not trying to progress. I don't think it's an indication of Bryce Underwood's talent by any stretch of the imagination. It was there was just no progression of the offense in general, the scheme, what they were allowing him to do. And even throughout the season, when we'd see him, like, let him go a little bit, they're like, okay, see Bryce has the talent. We know it's there. And it just seems like the coaching staff. And again, I can't just blame Shron Moore, whoever it may be, the coordinators, whatever, they just had, they just had such a leash on this offense and on Bryce Underwood that they, he couldn't progress if he wanted to. I mean, yeah, brim. I got a couple of things I want to say about Ohio State, what I saw today. Number one is, they were the most complete team all year long, but guess what? There was a moment in the season where if you had to pick out a weakness, you're like, well, I can't really run the ball. I mean, they can do everything, but they can't run it like Ohio State usually can run it. Enter Bo Lamar Jackson, who is just absolutely has the best names of all time. He's either Bo Jackson or Lamar Jackson, and Bo Lamar can run the hell out of it. But Bo Lamar Jackson and all of a sudden, they're tough, they can run it. They've got all the infinity stones now, like, this is the most complete team. It's been the most complete team. But what I was struck with was how they acted when they won the game. Last year when Michigan won, they acted complete fucking fools. They planted the flan, five, it's robbery game. I'm not, that robbery game, you can act like a fool, but they planted the flag and everything. And today at the end of the game, Michigan like, gathers on the am and is trying to play defense on the, on the, on the flag. Ryan Day is just like, hey, you guys go down there, celebrate with our fans. Wasn't that big of a deal? He said, we're going to win. They acted like this is how it was supposed to be the entire time. They didn't act like a team who was lucky or finally broke through. They acted like the team who knew they were better and finally they fucking showed it. Yeah, I mean, a million times eat. I mean, and I know Michigan had won the national title the year before, but I'd assume that Ryan Day was like, hey, guys, like, we won the national title last year. Like, we are the big boys. Like, we're the big brothers here. Like, and I understand it, it is rivalry. And I would act petty as fuck. There's no doubt. But at the end of the day, it's like, we just won a national title. We just have to come out here and play our game. And it's going to be fine. Like, we don't have to act crazy because even last year Ohio State acted a little crazy through the Jack Sawyer stuff, all that. So he's like, he just gave the speech like, why would we act? We've acted like we've been there because we're literally holding the trophy. So why not? Like credit to him for doing that because usually people don't. They've had the, they've had the target on their back the entire year. And all they've done is pass every test in every way with flying colors. Like that that is the ultimate sign of a, I'm not even just a championship team, but a team and a program that has the potential to be the next big consistent thing, right? A potentially dynastic team. I would say that that's a trait. That's what Nick Sabin was always so incredible at doing was he would follow up a championship with a team that would come out and not rest on its laurels. And the next year would still somehow be super locked in and super hungry. I'll say this, am I the one that like, I'm still actually kind of impressed with Michigan this year? We lost a ton of defeats in talent. They got way better. They went nine and three. I don't know. I though this is a good year for Michigan. I don't think he did. He did. Isn't that thing to write home about? No, I'm doing a bit bright blood. No, I believe that. Oh my gosh, let me ask the question. Name the game this year where you're like, oh, fuck, Michigan. Yeah, no, I guess. I mean, I understand what you're saying in that regard. But like, there's no shame in losing the teams they lost to. Who's the third loss actually? I mean, obviously Oklahoma, Oklahoma. Okay, USC is a USC is a bad one, right? That's the word. But like the other two or five, I don't know. I just, I didn't believe in Michigan that much. They had a severely limited offense. And went nine and three. I don't know. Okay. I'm strong. Everybody. I will say, I won't say that I'm impressed by this man. I'm not impressed by them. But I also, I also think that I mean, they did go what seven and five last year. They did get a little bit better. So it felt like it was a progress schedule. I have a question I would like to ask. If Sherone Moore was available on the open market, was the best job he's getting? Oh, yeah, yeah, you're pointing. It's a good point. It's a good point. Yeah, they they should be moving on from the handcuffs. They, they the whole the whole scheme with having a $12 million quarterback or whatever million dollars price on her wood was it was it was it's not good. There's no doubt about that. I wouldn't say and press, but also it's a young team. I can say that. But I mean, you look at Ohio State and they've got some young players across the board too. And they're just they were just again, when you look at just this game from every single player and every single coaching position. Ohio State's just better. That's just let's let's take two minutes now. I don't want to bow down on this because ultimately the play didn't really matter that much. Like it matter, but it didn't. So I don't know that I've ever seen a play where I I felt I was taking more crazy pills than the entire internet. Everybody decided this was a touchback. I I think the ball has to play in the end zone, right? And he bottles it to my eyes. I think he crosses and almost almost instantaneously. He then bubbles the ball. I don't think you can say the call to touch down the field. I don't think you can say he bought he like goal line bubble. Okay, so, okay, Okay, okay, yeah. - We just have to get a centimeter of that ball over there. that line. Yeah, I think that's what the ref saw and he does fumble it and his left foot does come in out of bounds, but I was like, I just thought there's not enough there to say definitive touch back. And the whole world says definitive touch back. And I, I think am I crazy? Am I an idiot? Cause you both said definitive touch back. So tell me where I'm wrong. Well, I don't, I guess in my mind, I thought he, he did not have possession when he crossed the goal line, because he kind of bobbles it, traps it. And then it bobbles again. But I'm watching it again now. And to your point, like, it is, it looks like, it looks like it looks like it is, yes, it looks like it is technically trapped when he crosses the goal line. So yes, if that is possession, then, then yeah, see where you say, so this series, I can see it, yeah, this series in 2023 had a similar play where Roman Wilson didn't have full possession as he crossed the goal line, and it would have resulted in a high state interception. But they ruled that they pretty much ruled the same thing that they did today. The reason I, the reason, I mean, because I do, at first of all, I hate the whole like, bubbling in general, like, how we have to slow it all down. I did not think he had complete control going over the goal line either. My whole thing was like, he fumbled what he did his foot went out of bounds. Had they not called it a touchdown on the field, I would have had like, I didn't say anything publicly back. So I was like, yeah, it's a touchdown, because they called it on the field. But when they slow it down, and when you nitpick it, which I don't necessarily like in general, but that's what we do in this sport, I did think that I could, you could make the argument that he he fumbled it into the end zone. But it would not have mattered either way. Like, it doesn't like that. That's seven points is not why Michigan lost that football game. You know what the brand has you were saying now? Is he we're saying now? I can give it yeah, yeah, for sure. I think he's right at the goal line when he fumbles that football. Yeah, just the whole, you know, if you having, you know, possession is if you have full possession or whatever. And again, it doesn't matter. But I do think that it was a touchback. You're not going to reverse the call. That's what what was called on the field. What either way was going to stand. Before we move on, because this was the big game of the week, the Venmo big game of the week. So I'll just knock out this ad read really quick. That was the big game recap segment. I'm so nervous about the brand and Walker here and team not coming. I'm so I'm so nervous about what you are. If I wake up tomorrow, Lane Kiffin's no longer the coach at Ole Miss, I'm going to look so silly. Can can can can we just wrap the Michigan high estate game up with one day? You're going to look bad, Randall. It's going to be embarrassing. Oh, I mean, you said multiple times on national television that he was going to stay in a noxford. I know deal then out deal the now because it's happening. He's coming to Venmo. So you got to go ahead and get your shame out. You really are freezing cold takes when you need him. I hope you end up there. Talk stuff is always hanging around me. Go ahead. Ohio State's Caden Curry say in the way to stop rice underwood was making him play quarterback. Yeah, yeah, that's that's that's a tough one to swallow if you're Michigan. Yeah. All right. Yeah, no, they got the it's the coaching staff, but we can Michigan to a future us problem. So I would always say this though, I would always say this though like it is the staff, but also the staff she sees shit in practice. It brights underwoods out there making incredible reads tearing up the defense, finding holes in the zone like they would feel a bit more empowered open of that playbook a bit more. I'm not saying it's all one or the other, but like I hate to be just the coaches. It's not just the coaches. No, but I do think that they put a like, you know, a governor on a golf cart on a kid that they shouldn't have all season because and if there was going to be a staff that was going to do it, no offense, it was probably this staff because we know the show more would not be the head coach of Michigan had harbour not had to leave. We know this. All right. Well, there's rather robbery games, including one last night that happened in Austin, Texas where Texas A&M comes in 11 and oh, and leaves 11 and one. They lose to the Texas Longhorns the second straight year. Casey, take it away. It fucking blows. Okay. And I, you know, I again, 24 hours, you know, you sleep on it, you feel awful about it. You know, I'm going to get this out of the way. Like, I'm not going to sit here and cry about it. I wouldn't cry about it last night. We're still going to probably be hosting a playoff game. Obviously that game, I mean, Texas was the better team last night. Do I think Texas is the better team 10 out of 10 times? No, but they were. And, you know, Arch was able to do things against the defense that we haven't seen all year. Marcel threw multiple interceptions at the end of the game that could have saved it. The kicking game is terrible at times. But at the end of the day, I mean, you never want to lose your right. It fucking sucks. And there's no doubt about it. I will say I think like the and Brandon, you were you were very classy. You know, you and I were texting back and forth, like as friends. I think like the dancing on A&M's grave too quickly when you know the playoffs are coming is strange like to be like, Oh, we knew who they were all season. Like that seems odd to me. Like it was, you know, 10 point rivalry game against a Texas team that looked pretty damn good. But at the end of the day, it sucks. Like I'm not going to sugarcut it. We had no business winning the game with the way we played last night. It is the it is the culmination of one of the more bizarre SEC schedules I've ever seen. And it's just a weird happenstance that happened because listen, there's a lot of teams who are lost and lost in last night. But A&M being seven and I will get to set bottom 17s. The SEC is just so fucking freaky and weird and silly that it could only happen in this era. Listen, I don't know that I'm I mean, I know that I didn't believe in A&M. I don't my opinion of A&M isn't changed after that game. They're going to be 11 and one. They're going to play out. They're probably going to win a playoff game. Like this is silly solid good team. I don't think it's the national title contender that they look like for several weeks. I think it's more like a really good playoff team that ultimately isn't George Ohio State of Indiana. And that's where I felt going in. That's what I feel now. And that's that's what it is. T-bop. What you see. So this game was entirely about the Texas defensive game plan and their ability to execute on said game plan. And I feel a bit bad saying this because I've been a big Marcel Reed champion. In the case you just mentioned the line or Liam, you mentioned the line. You know, force Bryce underwent to play quarter back. And that's how you beat him. And that's what Texas did to Marcel Reed. I was I was so I went back and I actually watched like the the all 22 here because I didn't I was little you know, I'm cooking whatever like I kind of didn't get the lock into this game. I wanted to and Texas almost never brought more than four. They rushed three and four and dropped in his own coverage throughout the entirety of the night. And it just completely freaked out Marcel Reed. And also it's a credit to that Texas defensive line because they were able to maintain very disciplined pass rush lane so that even when we tried to scramble he couldn't really get anything going. It's a credit to the speed of the secondary that again, when he would try to scramble the guys were able to make up the ground and get there and stop him from it. But yeah, they were just dry and and again, the defensive line was managing to still get pressure. But it was like simulated blitzes never committing more than four. I think it may be counted a couple of times I would say brought more than that. And it just completely shut down Marcel Reed. And they were very okay with giving up the underneath stuff. If you know, you want to go to a check down, you want to hit a little cross over the middle. That's fine. We're going to force you to make those plays for the entire day of the drive if you want to win the game. Now what should I admit able to do? They should have been able to run the ball. They couldn't. And is that you know, it was the first game that you really noticed the absence of Levy on Moss. Because it's been out all season for the most far. I mean, or at least the last half of the season. And it was the first game that you look and you're like, okay, like EJ Smith and these other guys, they can get it done. But if they can't run the ball, the way they came with Levy on Moss is going to be a problem. I do disagree a little bit with Marcel only because I don't, and I know it's an eye rolling thing to say. And again, if we weren't going to the playoff, I would feel probably a little bit differently. I do think he was what he was hurt. I do think he wasn't able to scramble the way he would have been able to how he knock on down the way that he did. They never officially announced what it was. But I'm going to say he went into that tint and got shot up with some stuff is my guess, my educated guess. But I do he wasn't 100% healthy. That's not why I didn't lost the football game. That is absolutely not why. And that is why keeping him off of his feet next week is a silver lining. Do I want to go play at an SEC championship game? Of course, getting Marcel read a week off of whatever happened to him last night getting these boys dressed going into the playoff. That's why even as pissed off as I was. last night, I'm not going to spiral because when Marcel reed plays the top of his game. And yes, Texas has one of the best defenses in the country talent wise. Like he's very good. He was not 100% healthy last night. You can see that when he wanted to scramble, he couldn't. I don't think I don't think I don't think his injury would have made a difference. But I also don't think that many of the playoff teams have the talent on defense of Texas does. And like they won't be able to execute the same game plan. This is a game plan. You only get when you have an elite guy like Carl Simpson's recipe line and safeties that can still fill in the run game fast enough. Like they were to completely shut down A and M ability to run the ball. So A and M was consistently off schedule. They they had no rhythm in the offense. And as far as arch goes, because you have to talk about arch and you talk about Texas. He was all right. His legs ended up being a pretty big deal. Couple of excrables in the first half. Then on that touchdown pass to start the second half, that was due to his leg sucking up the safety. And really though is about Texas being able to find some ways to run the ball. In the second half, that ended up doing enough offensively for Texas. So this felt like the Texas defense that I thought I was going to see the majority of the year. They were just completely locked in today. And they did look like the more talented team. And now, well, the Texas conversation. We could say that for my nation. Also, this is they probably are the more talented team across the world. They were the number one team going into the season. Like that's another whole story line with all these Texas fans are like, like, you're begging to the college football playoff committee. You're begging them to give you a spot. And you're the number one team going into the adult fucking loose to Florida. All right, we're going to have that conversation after Liam gets his say on this game, Tbob, it's teed up and I'm coming back in a second. Liam. Yeah, I think one of the stories of the game, if not the story of the game was Texas's offensive line led by Trevor Gooseby locking down for the most part Texas A&M's lethal pass or as cash as how was not able to be a game record. Texas A&M's bet the best part of that team is their front for is the pressure that they bring in the past game. They were they were negated completely. I think that that's a massive reason why Texas one and it was a phenomenal job that they did and arch stepped up and made big plays when he needed to. Yeah, I mean, Texas A&M, I don't think of them any differently than I did. A week ago and A&M was adding to me. They were bringing more than four. They were going to do in the opposite of what Texas doing. They were playing man coverage in that O line to your point Liam was holding up. Cash is cash is just couldn't do anything. They they had him. I mean, just completely locked down. All right. Tbob, I'm going to start this off. We're not going to get in this. But last year I made enemies in several places around the country because the media, the media, the talking heads that want everybody to like them, lied to people like South Carolina. They lied to people like Ole Miss and lie to people like Alabama said you at nine and three, tell me who should go play off over South Carolina. South Carolina is a playoff team. I don't care what you say. They're nine and three against that schedule. They're playoff team. And now idiots in the media are doing it again. And they're saying, boy, nobody wants to play this Texas team in the playoff. Man, there are 12 better teams in this Texas team. Full fucking shit. Okay? We're going to have 10 and two teams not make it. We're going to have teams that deserve to go not make it. So don't cry me a river for a team that lost a 4 and 8 Florida for a team that survived over time and Lexington against one of the worst teams in the SEC and Stark will over time. It's one of the worst teams in the SEC. One of the row got blown out in Athens. This is not a playoff team. Texas is not a playoff team. I'm not going to entertain this argument. There's enough teams right here. BYU Bama. No name over the home of Vanderbilt Miami. We can talk about them. Texas doesn't deserve it. Nice win last night. Too little too late. Long words. You know, it's the blender, the blender that and I, you know, I was going back and forth with Texas fans today. And again, it's the rational fans that are on Twitter that can have this argument. And I'm not rational a whole bunch, but they put themselves in a blender last night because they wanted to say, haha, A&M wasn't very good. Look, A&M wasn't very good. We said it all year, but beating A&M should boost our playoff resume. So look, playoff committee. We beat number three. A&M. Look what we did. And it's like, well, you can't have both. So it's one or the other. Either A&M wasn't that good or it was a good enough win for you to have three losses because you scheduled Ohio State in non conference. Like, you can't have both and Sark doing this. And I know all coaches do it. Lane did it last year. And it's just perfect. Just absolute poetry that it's always Florida. Last year was Florida with Ole Miss. And it was like, well, don't fucking lose support of that. And it's like, I don't know what to tell you, Texas. It's not about you scheduling Ohio State. You shouldn't have lost to Florida. You shouldn't have done it. So I actually agree. My point with this is always this highlights why I hate the subjective nature of how we do college football playoffs because I do believe subjectively that Texas is one of the best 12 teams in the country. Like the team that I saw last night compete with anybody could beat anybody. But it doesn't fucking matter because then why do we play the football then? Like, if you don't do what you're supposed to do on your schedule and understand the schedule of how state and that's kind of the the linchpin of this entire argument is they went and challenged themselves. Okay, great. Well, again, but don't lose the games that you did. Like, like the football has to matter. And well, I believe they're one of the 12 best teams in the entire country. They don't deserve to go. They didn't earn it. They didn't take care of what they needed to. Yeah, I agree with y'all. I just think it highlights again how fucking stupid it is. How subjectively we treat the playoffs in this sport. One last thing on this game and we can move on. This is this is the the credit to the bigger conversation. You know, an urban was talking about it today with Ohio State Michigan and Dave and the whole song and it's whatever rivalry game it may be. Like, this is like that game broke me as they call it football thing. I I was an absolute disaster of a human. I hate that it happened. And it's going to be okay. Like, it really is like all the again, the the the online dancing from, you know, all the longhorn fans and all it's like, I don't know, figured out we're going to be in the playoff and that and whether you agree with how it goes or not like that game, it's still fucking sucks so much. So I'm not by any stretch of the imaginable and nation, the imagination. Okay, about it. But we're getting ready for the playoffs. And Marcel Reed gets a week to rest. Okay. Y'all got to y'all got to bounce back there. Y'all got to go do some. Y'all had a star on their Ohio State did. Otherwise, uh, the the the fraud accusations will be all over the place. I don't necessarily know if I agree that we need to go win a national title to say the the fraud. No, you need to win a playoff game now. I would agree with that. Yes, because if you go in and you get in Barrison in the first round, yes, Ohio State also losing to seven and five Michigan or you know, whatever last year was a little different because Ohio State was already up there. Uh, but yeah, but that that is why, you know, there are so many meetings to not making. Are you getting that bogs comment, Brandon? Do you see that one? That discourages games like OSU Texas. So in those weeks, so we got to remember shutting the door on Texas now. No, because they're not getting not in because they lost Ohio State. They're getting not in because they lost to Florida. And because they they looked like shit against a team like Kentucky that just lost by 41 to Louisville today. They also got their doors blown out in Georgia. Yeah, let's let's let's be honest. Let's call spray to spray here. They're not in because they weren't as good as they were last night all year. Yes, yes, yes. Yes, they got better throughout the year. Well, that's why I said last night, Texas was the better team. All year, I would not say that, but it doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter if that game as an Aggie sucks in a vacuum. And hey, Chad, this is not telling him off its fault. Shut the fuck up. Okay. You know what the fuck you're talking about. Great. It's going to kill somebody. Can I say something really quick? Just me and T-bob are talking for a second. Just me and T-bob are talking T-bob. What what happened at the halftime adjustment? So where where was Tommy Mop? Then where? I so I'm not going to lie. I know I tweeted it. But for some reason the chair slam was awkward. Brandon, did you agree? Was the chair slam? Oh, yes. Right. Liam. Like it. We didn't have the same juice. It was like, I saw it. I saw it. I was literally like, oh, fuck, dude. Something was off. It was a tight but whole chair slam. Something was off. I'm going to bounce back. Here's it. Here's it. Here's it. Read it out. Draft Kings. Okay. Draft Kings. We love. Should I talk about Jeff Langer? The chase for the championship is on conference titles. They're coming up. Obviously the playoffs start and I believe it's three weeks from today because I've been making some travel plants. Everything's on the line. Draft Kings' forthbook keeps you in the game from kickoff to the final whistle. Whether you're backing your teams post-season push or making moves in the momentum shifts, the game is always in your hands. I'd assume Liam that the Heisman odds are very favorable to Julian Sain at the moment. Correct. And those is the leader of plus one 30 Sains plus one 50 Diego's plus four hundred chair. My love has dropped to 800. He's he has not played all game. All right. You're sorry. He has played today, but he's like been in out. Well, he I think he did he just scored touchdown. I don't know. No, if that was a gerrying price. Anyways, so the big 10 championship as we predicted will probably be the Heisman moment for those guys. So go on to draft Kings. Place your bets only a few Saturdays left. We literally have like one. Uh, every game, every play, every bet counts. Download draft in the sports week up, use promo code Ruff. Um, shall have to Marty Smith, who's in hell right now. Um, the, the memes of him where he, what's the meme of like the, the fast food worker where he does, she's like bent over and she's like, yeah, the Popeyes worker. I saw, I saw somebody tweet that. And I was like, there's never been a more perfect meme for a moment. I want to hand out some flowers now. Well, first of all, let me, let me eat one too. Uh, thank you, Brandon. Let me hand out some flowers in just a second. After I talk about the eggpole, there's something very cathartic about just getting your fucking ass whipped. Like it was, um, they were just so much better than us in every phase of the game. We did show a little promise with the freshman quarterback. But we, uh, we got a lot to work on there. Much better program than us right now. Ole Miss is, of course, their program might be leaving tomorrow. So that tomorrow has high potential for the biggest brand and Walker being a pump bitch day of all time. Tomorrow, but you know how they told us the conditions were favorite for a lot of Snow T Bob tomorrow. The first cast is Brandon Walker being just a big ass bitch anyway. Um, they kicked out of it. They just destroyed us. Nothing to say. They stuck it right down our throats and, uh, you know, it was classic lane. They made up the fake story about Mississippi State fans stealing the Jersey. When it was obviously, the locker room was open. Anyway, they made up that fake story. Then Ole Miss starts to fight and lanes on the microphone being like, well, we don't start fights around here. But we see it. It's held vice. Anyway. Brandon as a wrestling expert, I feel like you have, I feel like you have specific, like you have a life, a lifetime of skills watching wrestling to know when it's a work and when it's a shoot. And that was, that was clearly a bit that Ole Miss did with the Jersey. Wasn't it, you're, you're, you're, you're perpetually online far more than us. Correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't they find out it was like a Southern Miss student or something? Yeah, which could have been employed and hired as a hitman by the Ole Miss staff. But it, it was for sure not a missus, uh, an Ole Miss. Yeah, they said it was a Southern Miss student. Yeah, it was a play. Well, I didn't, I didn't know if it was an Ole Miss. Hired by who? Funded by who? There was a Wunder chase the money. The door was just open. Period. Period. Yeah, it was fake. It was supposed to be. But you know, it was not safe. You know what I think, but it was very funny was the whole interaction with the reporter. That one. Brandon, your tweet was so perfect when you were like, I can't even jump in on this with the hoe off. The, from start to finish, the way that the kid just dropped a ludicrous lyric. And I'm not. He's not a kid. He's 40. Oh, in every way. He's just a very youthful face. That's the reason. Yeah, listen. Listen. This is not the worst thing an Ole Miss fan has ever done with the rap lyric now. Well, that guy is 40 years old. Yeah, it is 40. At least. I mean, I've been sitting here and I mean, bad on me. I didn't do my research on it. I'm thinking this man, this grown man is like 24 or 25. It's like his first job and he's got Lane Kivitt. This makes what Lane did even better now. Hold on. Hold on. Okay. I did not know he was so nobody would like to shit on an Ole Miss reporter more than me. I hate most of them and I don't get along with any of them. From what I understand, and I've had limited interaction with them, I believe Ben Garrett to be a stand up guy, a good guy, a solid, solid guy. Yeah, I'm sure he is. Yeah. And I believe that I've talked to people, state people who know him. I think he's a stand up guy. And then another thing, he didn't call Lane Kivitt on a hoe. He used a lyric saying, you can't turn a hoe into a housewife, meaning Ole Miss knew what Lane Kivitt was like when they hired him so they can't be surprised that that's the point he was making. So, isn't that kind of semantically calling him a hoe though? Yes. But I understand what you're saying but like it's all, it all roads lead to the hoe. So how can you get mad that an Ole Miss reporter is reacting poorly when you're putting him in the position? Well because if a hoe is told they can't be turned into a housewife, she may be offended by it. Yeah, he was upset. If he stays to see a housewife. Yes, he acts easy and what he's not going to. Listen, it's all about loyalty, right? I hear, first of all, I do think it changed a little bit in my head that this guy is older than I thought because I'm just thinking like, hey, he's a young kid, trendy ludicrous lyric from, you know, I mixed more sense now. He was back when we were younger. I actually liked that Lane did it. Do I think it was performative of course? But there are so many times that coaches just have to eat it when they hear things that piss them off because they're supposed to say professional. And I like it when coaches do the opposite. Not just Lane. Anybody, it's like, yeah, because if somebody said that about us, Brandon, if you knew somebody had said, like, Brandon Walker, you can't turn a hoe into a housewife and you saw that guy where you could call him out, you would. And that's why I was like, fuck it. It was really, what's the difference when he was trying to explain a rap line? Well, I don't want to talk shit about, I don't want to talk shit about my coach, but like, it is, it's, it's pretty bitch made. We make like $10 million a year. He's a fucking beat rider, grind him, ride for his family. Get the fuck over it. Who gives a fuck just keep it on the field with the cameras around? He knew what he was doing. Yeah. Yeah. I'm all for it. I'm all for it. And it's not. No, no, no. It's not what he said call me in the press conference. Call me a hoe and see what happens because it's easy to say it behind a microphone. If anybody knows that, we know that. The amount of tweets that I felt like I had to go delete when I actually started sitting down with Urban Meyer. You start feeling some type way. You're like, I've said some things, Lane Kiffin called him out on it. I don't have a problem with that. Move, bitch. Get out the way. That's what I'm talking about. That's a good, such a good song. Just, he did, he did call the hoe. He did call the hoe. I don't think so. I was using a lyric to make a, to make a point. Now, what he was doing using a ludicrous lyric to get a point across the Ole Miss fan base. I'll never fucking know because them of the fuckers had no clue what that was. Well, I was, that's why I was even more impressed with the, the lyric drop. I was like, wow, he's like 24 years old. He looks so young and he's, he's referencing a song for like 2003. Good for him. You can't turn a hoe into a housewife. Those don't act right. Okay. Great. Which, which, Lane, hey, Ole Miss eyes may not be acting right. I would take 30, I would take 30 minutes to talk about ludicrous if you all wanted to. We can do that another time. You have to go out for 10 hours out now. Flowers time. Flowers, flowers, flowers. Thank you. Shut the fuck up. Okay. We've got several teams, I think, came into this week needing to make some statements or whatever, but I'm going to start out. I'm going to give some flowers to the Vanderbilt Commodores. They go into Knoxville, Tennessee with their playoff lives at stake and I don't think Vanderbilt is getting in, but had to go in to make it into a possibility. They go into Knoxville, Tennessee, 110,000 people all wearing orange, all hillbillies, and they fucking thump Tennessee right on the skull. Diego Pavia, over 400 total yards, again, he rushes for 165, thrust for 268, two touchdowns, probably secured himself a trip to New York at the very, very, very least. This is not your granddaddy's Vanderbilt. This is a different Vanderbilt. By the way, they put the five star quarterback in Georgia. Number one, QB. Number one, QB. Vanderbilt had their nuts were on the line and they went and fucking stuff. Tennessee is nuts right in their fucking throws T-Bop. This isn't a Vanderbilt. I'm used to seeing fucking bums me out, though, dude. I mean, it is awesome, right? And I want to celebrate them, but like what a sad, broken sport or weird time it is that they can be 10 and 2, 6 in the SEC, 6 and 2 in the SEC, beating the shit out of Tennessee, the rival they never beat, and Knoxville in a game where they throw two or a three early picks, like to win by this margin overcome, that means they really beat the dog shit out of them. They had four wins over teams that were ranked at the time, Zagobov is one of the best players in the entire country, and they're not even going to make a 12-team playoff. Like that's fucking. That just sucks. Credit to, now, the flip of Jared Curtis, the rumored flip, which is being repaid, it's expected. I think it's one of those things, it's like whatever, the flip of Jared bomb or something like that. Maybe so. But the flip of Jared Curtis is maybe indicative of a longer tale on this Vandy success story, which would be massive, and you can see how it could come about, right? [BLANK_AUDIO] We always talk about it. Once you get a taste of football success, it is as intoxicating for an American fan base as anything in the sporting world. Even more so at times, it's something like the NFL because you can actually have direct impact now through NIL. You can choose to donate. They're in Nashville, a city which has gone through a complete boom and continues to boom right now. All the celebrities are moving there to go poppies, chillin' with the O'Von every game and the bus and blah, blah, blah, blah, so like Clark Lee through Diego Pavia may have made Vandy cool and may be able to make them consistently good. Maybe not like 10 and 2 good every year, but maybe they're not just going to go back to being the doormat of the SEC now. That's Kentucky's job, Mark Pooh's sucks. Among others, yeah, I thought Vanderbilt was very impressive. Other flowers, how about the Miami Hurricanes getting the little flowers, they go down, they went 38 to 7 over Pitt and I really bring this up because I know Liam Blutman is ready to talk about this guy, Malachi Tony. Yeah, if I, how I word this, if there was a hypothetical world where he's catching passes from the Norrissellers next year, I'd probably advise him to transfer and go elsewhere because I walk down this guy with the highest, I think he's that good, that special little player, Malachi Tony, baby Jesus, he makes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 plays a game that your jaw just drops and ah, he's true freshman, started year 17 years old, one of the very best players to watch on football this season, had a joy watching him today, he's a game breaking talent and we talked about guys that we want to see in the 12th in playoff, I want to see this guy in the 12th in playoff very, very badly, I'm gonna give a lot of credit to Miami's defense for stepping up and just wreaking havoc on high school, all game long they did a terrific job that's the most hungry, Miami's looked all season, I want to talk about, I was wrong on Miami, I know my cane's hands are going on from me, I, you know, I fucked it all the entire, for years now, Christopher, all of that, and you finished the fight, you overcame the prophecy of Narduzzi, credit to you, good shit, and if it comes down to you in Notre Dame, I think Miami should get in, there was still a T-bob, like you were still correct on that in certain games, they said, no, no, we'll see, we'll see, if he makes a playoff on Ron. The way that they started and ended the season, no, but like there were definitely moments where there was some credit, there was some credence to that. We'll have the discussion on Miami and Notre Dame in the coming days, I'm sure we'll have a lot of discussion in the coming days over teams that deserve to go, whatever, a couple of teams, Oklahoma, Oklahoma, I think is probably the biggest lockout of the six teams that they've done, I think they're six teams from three spots, I think it's almost probably the biggest lock, and I think this is crazy. I think they are by far the worst of those six teams, and by far the most deserving to get in the playoff. I think they have the best resume. Yeah. Resume is fantastic in Berlin, Alabama, they've only lost to Texas, and they got the win over Michigan, like their resume is fantastic, and they suck to watch, their offense has got awful. They're going to lose a playoff game 16 to nine, it's going to be the other thing you've ever seen. They deserve to go. God damn it, they're bad to watch T-Pop. If Michael van Buren was an actual legit D1 quarterback, they lose to that one. Why? Hey, do you talk about my guy in D.V. No, I'm fucking him. He wants to go take the money. Let him go ride bad routes. You care for him that touchdown, the interception he threw on that, you know I'll talk about Brian? Yeah. Yeah. The interception of three different people on that play. That, I mean, just run it, bro. God damn it. Brandon Lairley scores there. Yeah, the, I mean, you talk about, I'll go home offense, bro. Well, let's use offense. What the fuck? That thing is a fucking, it's, it's, it's, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's an offense to God. A nature. I felt like I was watching someone sacrifice a child. I'm sorry. You're right. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oklahoma offense is not very good, but like I said earlier in the show, I'm a firm believer that the football has to matter. Okay. Oklahoma went on the road to Tennessee, on the road to Bama beat like they won all the games. So keep put them in. I don't give a fuck. And the defense of the championship good and and and tournament settings defense range supreme generally, right? So it makes them frisky or maybe then they should be. I don't expect material to throw three picks. Like it'll probably be better than he was today. Yeah. Yeah. He's bad. He's bad. But the defense is awesome. What? Maybe, maybe Dr. Shin wasn't as great. He's got a doctor hand. I should have had his hand blown off. Yeah. Yeah. He had a real injury. But at this point, you'd be healthy. Listen, I'm just saying that at some point, there was some witch doctor shit. Maybe, maybe he wasn't as witch doctor as we thought it was. That's all I'm talking about. The infinity stones of over one person in the chat. I won't talk to one person in the chat. Jacob Thompson, who keeps saying, Texas speed, don't go home. A Texas speed event about Texas speed this. You lost a four and eight Florida. You lost three times. You had a chance to go to playoff and you blew it because you weren't a very good team. You went to overtime with Kentucky, overtime with Mississippi State. You weren't that good all year long. You have some nice wins. You have the worst loss of any playoff contender outside of Florida State and Alabama. Take that Texas winding bullshit back to fucking Austin. You fucking idiot. Get the fuck out of here. You're not going to playoff. It's a 12 team playoff. Not a 19 team playoff. You winding fucking bitches from Texas. Yeah, and Oklahoma lost to Texas and Ole Miss and has all the good wins. They're not just like respectful losses, but the good wins. Oklahoma needs to be in. Fucking morons. You got it with the easiest schedule on the world last year. And now you act like we all have to bend over for mighty Texas. Okay. You lost a Billy Napier. You lost it. You should have a program anymore. You lost a Billy Napier bunk. Badly. Go ahead. You should have lost a lot of moves. They should have lost to they should have lost at Mississippi State, too. And again, great win last night. I mean, listen, you can't have it both ways. Either A&M is a really good team and you had a great win or they weren't very good and you can sit out in your ass and home and cry about it. I don't know how to tell you. Read that. Well, hey, I have an idea. Why does a T-bob talk about Bluetooth for a second? Oh, I thought we were doing a Barsal Sports Shopping. No, I'll do Bluetooth. Join Bluetooth mission upgrade. Humanity, one thrust at a time had a Bluetooth.com for details and safety info and big up to Bluetooth for sponsoring this podcast. All right. A couple. I want to make a couple more points. Replays out of control. Replay almost took a touchdown off the board at Ohio State, Michigan. That's fine. But replay took away one of the great catches in the history of calls. We'll go today in the Oregon game. The Oregon guy, the Oregon guy makes it one handed catch, pins it up against his head, and then as he's going to the ground, the boy, it's the ground. I don't think it moves. And like, if you slow that thing down to the if degree and you slow and you slow and you slow and you frame by frame by frame by frame by frame. Yeah. I guess you could say incomplete pass. Sometimes I'm quite a fucking great play. Be a great play, guys. Let us have something. Let us, let us, let us feel, let us feel every now and then. It's what I said when we talked about the touchback and in Michigan, Ohio State, it's like they, they, they, this, this slowing down to where it's literally like frame by frame, which we've now gotten conditioned to is normal. I hate that. Like, I hate it. Like, let's just, like, use your eyeballs. Let it be, like, let it be what it looks like. And yeah, we can nitpick everything, just let it be. Well, we, we got, we, we have a great catch like that. And we're taking, we're taking an 8K camera from outer space and we're zooming in so it can be called incomplete. And then when there's a close spot on fourth and one, we got a 78-year-old light guy over there running in from the side light. I think it was here. Oh, no. Don't talk about being geared that way. Liam, Liam, you're a tennis guy. You, you know how all that stuff works. How do we not have the same technology that tennis uses with, with like exactly where balls land on the line? Ah, Hawkeye. They haven't. Yeah, they have. I mean, the app else basically uses it. here. It's just like how bad ass would that be if it's like, you know, because after every single shot in tennis, you can see it down to the inch of where that ball is. Like, yeah, we can see the tip of the football over the first down line. How do we not have? Fuck that, dude. Fuck that. Well, maybe it's because I get to do the knee hits, but like, I don't know. Fuck it. I like humans. I like the 78-year-old white guy. I like fucking Angel Hernandez. I like stupid humans and your stupid human errors. Yeah. Yeah. So I like to show you an element. Yeah. I like the human element. So fuck AI, dude. But that's the point to being a human element, then you should be able to slow down this. Yeah. Yeah. How many times? How many times do I fucking Angel Hernandez? Yeah. You said you like fucking Angel Hernandez. Yeah. It was once, okay? I don't know what to say. I met him at a bar. He had incredible stories. You ever talked to a major league up? They got stories for fucking days. Oh, my God. You know what? If you were like stuck in a bar and airport and if you had to rank guys to be stuck next to for two hours or at a chileys and scago airport for four hours with T-bop, if you had to rank guys, a major league on pyre might be way up there. All right. Incredible. Yeah. Sorry. I'd like to, I'd like to, this, this coaching carousel. And I don't want to get into semantics because right now there's a whole lot like to board a Penn State and there's a lot of, we can rally to Penn State. There's a lot of things. If you put your ear to the dark web, you hear a lot tomorrow might be crazy. But I'm just going to say this, Scott Strickland and Florida should be fired. And he turned his back on us 10 years ago. He should be fired because Scott Strickland let this coaching search at Florida go long enough to wear it seemed like they thought they had a shot at Lane Kippen. And anybody with their ear to the ground in Baton Rouge or Oxford knows can tell you Florida never had a fucking chance. It was always, as soon as LSU came open, the second it came open, it was Oxford or Baton Rouge. And Scott Strickland has sat there with his dick in his hand for weeks and weeks and weeks. And now listen, they might get John somewhere on that would be great. That would be great. Like, these a days, these a days just just be doing nothing. And I just called out. Yeah. All right. Do you think that Florida fans, like, I mean, I know that they actually thought they were like, where was their confidence meter truly? Because like, I think it was high. I think it was, it was like a 9.9 out of 10 and gains will. That's crazy. Because I don't know from the outside looking in. And once LSU became available to me, it was just so obvious. It was a two horse race. Maybe I'm just in our bubble. I don't know tomorrow. Tomorrow has the chance to be new here though. You were tweeting about this you and Ev. And I think Jack Mack, a bunch of you guys were tweeting this last night that it could be potentially like the craziest should ever. What are you hearing? I am Brian, Brian reference to Lincoln. It was a Penn State perhaps. Yeah. Like that's, that's in the works. But tailing to board a Penn State, a mystery to Penn State. Obviously, link given LSU is the big domino and then all the dominoes. No, no, can't happen because they're making the SEC now, right? Well, but it's it's it's dominoes. It's it we're back to the dominoes. If we live in the world where Lincoln Riley was to take the Penn State job, USC opens. If you remember on our last episode, Brandon and I might have uttered the words. Kalen DeBoer. Very interested in USC. It's dominoes. Yeah. Yeah. Also, mystery guy Penn State has, I've mentioned before in their search. I mean, they have a mystery guys. Do they have brand? Let's be how many mystery guys do they have? One of the major Hernandez, you know, secrets, secrets haven't always been good at Penn State. Yeah. Wait. Uh, Leah, what's what's the latest on the Bruins UCLA? Uh, when the sun goes down, we'll be grooving when the sun goes down. Oh, okay. Yeah. Tomorrow will be a good day. So tomorrow tomorrow should be a really good day. Look at the calendar really fucks this up because Steve, I've just mentioned it. Like now that Alabama is going to be in the SEC championship because they beat Auburn, which, you know, whatever. It's like it does, it does handcuff these guys. They were talking about it too. It's like, you know, guys like Kurt Signetti, Mike Elko, you go down the list like they made the commitments to their team, knowing their teams and being the playoff. And Lane has dragged this out. There's no doubt. Like he's made this a whole, you know, LeBron, the decision thing. But it does suck that these guys have to make this decision while their teams are still fully playing in the playoff in the conference. Oh, you know what? Fuck him. The calendar, the calendar is broken. It is. Oh, it is. But, but you know what? I, listen, and I, I haven't, I don't know where the committee's meeting this week, but I have looked up a plane ticket. I think there is to be a full discussion. If Ole Miss doesn't have Lane Kiffin, they shouldn't be able to play off at all. But that's just me. I listen. We got a lot to take this in. Put Texas in. Yeah. Here's a, here's a question for you guys, though. And I know it's, we'll see what happens tomorrow. If all the dominoes that Liam's referencing is falling, I know that one of the big conversations that apparently Lane was having with the Ole Miss AD was that he wants to go to Ole Miss, but wants to be able to coach in the playoffs because he got them there. Where do we land on that? All right. I got to say something here. If he had an inkling, if Ole Miss heard an inkling that he wants to go to LSU, but he also wants to coach, you should have stood up then and said, "Well, get the fuck out of here. If you want to go to LSU, go to LSU. The fact that Ole Miss has dragged it out and dragged it out and dragged it out and dragged it out is so pathetic if he, in fact, leaves." Now, if he stays great, but if he has been a, if you had one second of discussion, yeah, I'm going to LSU, but I'd like to coach a team. And you didn't say immediately, all right. There's the fucking door. Then what do you do it? Well, that's the crazier part to me, Brandon, is this new age take that is being bandied about by very smart football people where everybody's saying that Ole Miss should let him finish the season. No, that's just, that's just, no, Lane's friends, Nick Saban. Yeah, it's Booger. It's Nick. The most bullshit guy in the sports. Nick Saban, the most foolish guy, by the way, when it was his choice, when he fired Lane Kim, when he said Lane Kim, if you're going somewhere, you can't keep coaching here. And now he'll say, "Oh, Ole Miss, can you like this thing?" Nick Saban goes, "Jit, man." There is, there is. And I think it was Booger McFarlane, and I love him. There was a moment though, the way he was describing it, that I, because I agree, they, I've said that he should have been able to coach the egg bowl if he was leaving, if they knew he was leaving. Like, get the fuck out of here. But like, the way that Booger worded it was kind of like, "Hey, like, they wouldn't even be here without the guy." Like, they were so abysmal before him. And now he's just saying, "Hey, like, I got you here. I've set you up for success." Like, let me finish it. I was like, "For a second, I was like, you know?" And then I was like, "Absolutely the fuck not. I'm too petty for that." But there was, there was a second where I was like, "I can see the argument. I can see it." It's, you know, he, they wouldn't be there without him. Let him coach it out. But no, you absolutely cannot. You can't. All right. Okay. We gotta get the more games. Um. Cal beats SMU right when we started this show, meaning the ACC Championship game. D word. The Liam Blutman special. He, I tried to kill him all year long. I tried to kill him. I tried to snipe him. I said, "Stop talking about Duke. You stopped talking about Duke." And what did Duke do? They lost five games. And they're going to the conference championship game. By the Virginia Cavaliers. And what might go down as the worst power five conference championship game in the history of college football? Liam thoughts. I mean, you guys always, you guys have been doing this wrong. Everyone's been doing this wrong. Everyone always talks about who have you beat. No, no, no. Who have you lost to? Duke picked the right time to lose every single game. All five of their games were perfect losses. We could say they took weeks off. They're smart. They're Duke, very intelligent, intelligent. The IV of the Carolinas. They planned this months ago in the off season. When seven games were six in conference. And we're going to depend on Cal to send us to the ACC Championship. I mean, what a sentence. SMU misses the game time field goal. Cal wins to clinch the ACC Championship bird for Duke. That's called triple on 25. That's the ACC. It's asni. It's crazy. And in true Duke fashion, that's a classic rivalry. Liam, what are you talking about? Of course. Cal, SMU, decide the ACC. I haven't watched it my entire life. And out what a game for JKS. But like in true Duke fashion, this game was chaotic. And it was call. S of U those. It was cal up 31 14 in the 4th quarter. SMU storms back, takes the lead and then needs late game theatrics from Cal to win it. This is not a good conference championship game. We know that everyone's aware of that. The juice that has been throwing out on Twitter to try and make an appeal to Duke playing in the AC. PCC championship game is nonsense, is nonsense. The Nicole Auerbach tweet is horrific. We are not taking Duke out of the ACC championship game because you're unhappy that they're in there just so we could appoint who you think the best team in the conferences. Yes, Miami is probably the best team in the ACC. They should have taken care of us. They should have made it to the ACC championship game. You're like, imagine waking up on Tuesday and Duke finds out we can't play in the ACC championship because a bunch of people don't think we're good. No, no, no, no, this is the exact thing. This the football has to matter. The football has to matter. We can't let fucking these subjective oligarchs and their thrones decide our fates. And I like Nicole a lot, but that's a dog shit take. Brandy good for for posterous size bottle, Casey Smith. For posterous size, let me see. That just absolutely a tank of a tank of a water bottle. I think also like a child's color scheme. Well, yeah, listen, I let my son I let my son pick the color. But by the way, I've no free ads. You guys you guys are on the wall again. I mean, this is my so strong. My kids have my kids have those. They're really bad. They're the best. Yeah, it's a it's a 45 ounce, I think maybe six. My bad. Sorry. OK, we're going to transition to who won the week. Who lost the week and shit list? It's just that missing everybody. That you know, bandage. I'm gonna say, wait, do we talk about Duke? Do we talk about Duke? What else are you talking with? We literally just fucking talked about. No, I know that was a bit. I was in a tea bit. Oh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Oh, wait, there we go. Sorry. I don't think we went in a depth about the iron bowl. Oh, yeah, Casey, we did not. We did not. And listen, call. I thought, you know, Ohio State kind of thumped Michigan. And we had we had a couple of close games, but the iron bowl really felt like it was on the cusp of like at any moment, it could just go fucking fuck wild crazy. And Auburn showed a lot of heart fight back. Now, I have heard just just on Twitter that there's some momentum about DJ Dirk and getting that job crazy to me. And that would be one of the worst hires I could ever imagine in my entire life. But Auburn did he forget that he also killed a kid? Give him credit for fighting. Give him credit for, for, for, you know, making it close. But ultimately, Auburn was always going to make it close and lose because that's who they were in 2025. Alabama, you know, I think they blew a 17, nothing to lead. And I thought they were soft. They showed that softness that the boards had this entire run in Alabama. But then that last drive was aided by a bad PI penalty and then a pretty correct or rough in the passer penalty. But on fourth and two at the five-yard line, the board had a choice to make. It's I'm going to go up three or I'm going to go for the fucking threat right here and I'm going to score touchdown. And he rolls a dice. It was a big balls play call. It was a big balls throw. It was a big balls route. Like Alabama showed a lot of fucking nuts in that exact moment to win that game the way they did. Big dick to bore. Moment in deep. Also, don't forget about the fourth and one Tyson's Scramble with all the grace of a flailing two-year-old. He saw it. Nobody. Nobody. And nobody is more effective and worse looking at running than Tyson Simpson. Like, what the fuck, man? How come nobody can get a read on him? I don't understand it. That played lasted 17 seconds. And he only crossed the line at the very end. It was one of the most unreal plays I've ever seen. Yeah, I mean, all your takes there were correct. Look, I think with Alabama, Brandon, I just have to-- I have to meet them where they're at, right? If I'm going to judge them against the Bama Standard of Old, they're going to be found one team. But what calendar board has done here in Philly and Impossible to Shoves? They'll shoes. Really changing the identity, maybe even by accident, right? Like, they ran the ball great tonight, which good for them. They can do that in the playoff, and they could be a real contender. But the most part of the amateur run the ball all this year, but they're still finding ways to win. And we talk a lot about culture winning on this program. And I think it matters a lot in college. I think it matters on football in general, but maybe especially so in college. And like, yeah, this is an Alabama team that probably, in many ways, should not be as good as they have been this year. Should not be playing for an SEC championship. And should not have won some of the games that they did, and yet they have. And that's because in high leverage moments, their culture has consistently won out and to your point, Tyson Simpson, as as well. So really good onto board. I would love nothing more for him to leave, though, and for Alabama fans to be destroyed. But good onto board. And good on Alabama for after nearly blowing that lead in Jordan Hare, where they have PTSD going for it up for the two, and like you said, stomping on the throat. The iron bowl is just so fucking fun every year. I don't think it would be fun if I was a fan of either team. But you just know something's going to happen. And Auburn has found ways to lose games like that all season. They've stunk. And literally down to the last two minutes of the game, you're just like, is Alabama about to just get themselves not only out of the SEC championship. The actual playoff to Auburn, who fired you free this year. Just perfect college football. I don't know how good Alabama is, but I know they have a date in Atlanta with a team that Dvor has inexplicably fucking owned. So, well, we'll see. They might win the fucking SEC. And well, T-Bob mentioned that they finally had a run game. All season, it was like they were, you know, for lack of better terms, they were almost one dimensional. And it was like, where is this run game that Alabama has always had, and they don't look tough, and they don't. And I understand Auburn is who they are. But at the same time, like, they could run the ball tonight. So maybe that's the, that's going to carry in the playoff. I don't know. But I mean, Georgia, we didn't talk Georgia, Georgia Tech at all. I guess it doesn't really matter, because they didn't win that game. But like that, that was a game too. That was a lot closer than people probably thought it would. Negans didn't close three years in real. We had to accept that Brinkie's just got a good beat on Georgia. Well, I mean, a lot of these rubbery games, you know, it's just a, I don't really get into a cow dude. I agree. Yeah, um, all right. You got, how many more? I'm sorry. Fuck, I fucking joke college game. All right, damn it. Fuck, should I say? All right. He's just being a, he's just being T-bop. I fucked up my joke. I'm mad at myself. Tollgrewportcranes.com. Well, we got it. We have to give some space a little bit, because they are a family friendly. So we cannot swear. Brandon, here we can go to who won the week, who lost the week and shit list. I mean, I don't stop right there. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Be careful on the week. Oh, shit. There he is, guys. There he is. Yep. Our boy made it. On that. You have as long as you want Ohio State 27, Michigan 9, go. Go, baby, go. I'm trying to hold it the best I can. I'm sitting in the terminal A of Newark Airport. Just get off the plane. Beautiful. Actually, I was just sitting next to a very famous rapper on the plane. I was pretty excited about that too. It's everything's coming up me today besides the delay. Who was it? Who was it? A 42-dug? I don't know if you guys will know. I don't know. I'm fucking love for. No, I don't know. He's the man, dude. I love 42-dug. You got to stress. You got to stress. You got to stress. Very famous there, huh? I was like, I know one that it's not. But-- I mean, but you're like 70 years old. Obviously like a new or rapper. You might not know who he is. Leave me alone. I don't think I ever do that. Yeah, of course. It was this birthday a few days ago. He just turned 31. Wait, what the fuck, dude? Take that down. Take that down. What happened to me? I'm trying to find my angle. I'm just holding it. I see it. I'm picking it up. I just turned 21 years old. 30. Oh, that's-- Hold on. No, no, no, we can't get lost in 42-dug. M! -Go. -27.9. Go. -Incredible. Incredible. Honestly, the game, obviously, you'd go in. I really wasn't nervous 'cause I truly, truly believe the things that I was saying that day learned this lesson and that he went in the arrogant last year. He got humbled. He wasn't gonna do the same thing. But that truly, it felt like it a lot of ways. I tweeted that I got to have my cake you needed, too, because that only did they beat them. But then in the second half, they go and just pound the ball down their throat just to leave zero doubt who's the better team on every single level offensive line, defense, everything. Quarterback play was, I mean, the biggest gap, probably the old game. But, yeah, unbelievable. And this is the God's honest truth. Even early on, like, Saint throws the pick. They hit the big run on the first drive. I really wasn't that nervous 'cause I just had faith that they wouldn't score that much. Like, I just truly, I just believe in this defense. I would trust this defense with my newborn baby. I have so much faith in this defense. I mean, they didn't allow a touchdown. They were incredible. I think they just further vindicated all my thoughts. I think all Liam's thoughts throughout the year about how just dominant this team is. And I don't think I'm saying this because I'm feeling myself like I really believe like it's gonna be a tough time for really any team to give us a game as long as we play like a B+ like a minus type game. There's other very good teams. I'm not trying to disrespect anybody, but I just think we're just when we play at our best or even like close to our best. We're just not in the same level. That felt so good. - Yeah, I've come around that I believe you on that now. I know I've pushed that concept. - This is like, I can't express, and this is why sports is so great. But like these, the twists of the world have been like, I truly can't express how much of like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Like whatever, 12 hours or whatever, 10 hours. Like it was like the only thing that was missed like it was, it made me realize after it happened that I've just been, like it's been eating away at my soul, it really has. It's been like for like, for literally five years. It's been eating away at me. And I just come back. I feel like it's human, like everything, everyone that has to deal with it on a day-to-day basis is getting a more pleasant mean now. That's just the truth. I think it's the truth. I don't know how many predictions are nailed this year, but I can tell you one on nailed. I nailed Dave Fortnoy standing up at some point in the second half and claiming that he had an emergency or a plane or something to go catch and it happened. - Well, but that's why I called him out on the college football show because I knew he would. So I wanted to make sure that was out there that it was like point blank. He's going to leave. I knew he was going to leave the second. The second we started driving and we really were like in post and I will run in the ball. I saw the move start half and I saw him start to check the time on his phone. I see him start like kind of fishing. Like the second he put the gloves on. I said, I was like, you put in the gloves on? I was like, no, no, not the men's Dave. Don't put the men's on. Not this. - Also, why did he, T-Bob is muted. Also, there were multiple things that like, when he was putting the men's on like, dude, you just gotta go to the car. But we talked about this earlier in the show. And I mean, you and Liam have been talking about how good this roster is and what I said and a lot of people are saying you guys were just the better team in every single position, every single coaching position is every, like you were just better than them and the first drive of the game. You know, all of us are sitting here and I have to know how you were feeling because we're all sitting there just like, holy shit, is this about to happen again? There's no way. And obviously it didn't matter. But I need to know what you were feeling in that moment because I can't fathom the pressure you must have been feeling in that house. - He said he was calm. - Yeah, I didn't, I really, like if it was, no, let me also this for sure. If it was like that in like the third, like deep in the third quarter, even up to half, maybe I would have gotten nervous, but I just like, I just do like this, they're just so good, like I was like, they're not gonna be able to keep doing this. Like they're gonna like, they're eventually gonna get put in a third and long. And then they're eventually not gonna be able to pick that up because Underwood can't throw that well. And we really didn't even get a ton of pressure on them. I actually think I give Underwood credit. Like he gets the ball, usually, from the most part, pretty fast. - Well, but he also throws it way too. - Well, they designed him plays where he doesn't make a read. - He just hits us like, it's a screen. It's a different way of throwing a screen. - Yeah, he's like, I would have asked you about this, eh? And I feel like the quarterback difference I agree is massive, but how did it feel for you? 20 plays, 12 minutes off the clock. 81 yards in the snow, in the big house, about as direct a rebuke of everything that Michigan has done to you the past few years, you could not have had a more direct rebuke than basically entering the four minute offense, halfway through the third quarter. - No, that truly, that was, that was fat boy. I got to have his cake and eat it too. That's what I'm calling that. 'Cause I got to win the game decisively, but also just physically impose our will. Just punch them in the mouth and run Dave's whole bit back and I'm like, look, just punch you in the mouth, you're currently a coward, you'll break. I broke him. I broke Dave Horton, I broke him down. I warmed down with body shots. Just boom, and then I went up top to the head and knocked him out, silly. And then you smoked a Dave Horton, right outside the little house in front of the big house. It was just, to me, it wasn't, it was, it's, it's, it's, - Are you gonna, are you gonna hang out with us for, we were about to do winners and losers. Is it gonna hang out with us? Or did you want to say that and go? - You know, I'll stay, I'll stay. - Brandon, use the wrestler that, is it stone cold with the glass? I don't know. - Yeah. - Yeah. - That's what, Ev could not have time that more probably like, who won the week? - That's true, that's true. - That's true. - Everybody pay attention. I got, yeah, I have a tweet to read, okay? From Brent McMurphy three minutes ago. Lane Kiffin is essentially demanding to finish the season with Ole Miss, while simultaneously threatening to poach Ole Miss's entire roster and staff if he can't. A source told on three sports. It's unfortunately gotten even messier than expected and as emotions are high. - That's my coach, guys. - You guys, I got, - Shit. - This is messy, this is messy person to get a visit. - Does it surprise me whatsoever? - So I've heard this, so I saw some other tweets, Brandon's, one of their messages that have kind of, been about the same idea that now he's telling coaches, like, you know, like, who's ever not on the plane with me tomorrow doesn't have a job. - You do it whole activities with whole tendencies, holes in your friends and holes in your enemy. And we broke all the ludicrous lyrics down earlier. We were like, let's see. - Is this like, you know, obviously, as the NSU fan, if it ends up coming to pass, what it looks like, will. - I should be happy, but I've seen a million movies where like, you accept the traitor into your midst and then, yeah, kind of, you know, the whole housewife thing, honestly, right? - It's a dirty business and you gotta get in bed with dirty people to win and this thing, yeah, yeah, sure. - But it's also a tale as old as time, today if he'll do it to them, he'll do it to you. - All right, T-bob. No, not T-bob. Big F. - Why? 'Cause he's here now. - No, no. - Big F, I'm gonna ask you a question. (laughing) Fat boy, who won the week? - Fat boy won the week. (laughing) It's a good day in the big F business. It's a good day in the Buckeye business. It was always Ohio State. This little blip on the radar they had and the thing that's even better about it is, like that win last year, it got them to parade around with this fallacy that they were something that they weren't, that they're this premier program, but yet they can't make a 12 team playoff. Isn't that crazy? They talk about how they have the most wins in college football history, because they all are pre-1942 and though they can't make a 12 team playoff, they can't even sniff it. They can't sniff it. And that's the beauty of this whole thing. Is that not only do you get to win and do you get to vindicate yourself and you get to rid them of just, the field just cleansed. As a Buckeye, it's cleansed and shown, this extend Ryan Day is doing like, I need extend shown more. (laughing) That guy's a bucket of dicks. That guy, like they will never win anything serious with that guy's their head coach. If they are serious at all about their football program, he won't coach another game for the Wolverines. He probably will because they're stupid and they'll settle. But no, it's incredible. And I truly believe this. I've said this, so I'm pretty sure I've said this to Liam and I want this, and it's coming to fruition now. I want Michigan fans to wake up in like five, 10 years. And I want them to think about the 2024 game and I want them to be like, oh my God, that's actually the worst thing that ever happened to us because they created a monster in that game. They created Frankenstein. They gave like the final infinity stone of Ryan Day. That was like the final piece that he needed to become like all time great college football coach. That was the last humbling moment he needed. And now we are going to run through the college football world over and over and over again. As this is my words, as this is the beginning of like a Nick Saban type run over the next decade. He's a young man, the team is only getting better. Look at the way where they're recruiting. Look at the way we're flipping recruits right now. All the talent we're bringing in, the way we're working. developing talent. I don't know how long we're gonna be able to keep Brian Hardline around because I think he's been a huge piece of this puzzle as well and I want to give him his new and his credit and I have to imagine teams are beating out of the door to give him a job at some point. I even could see him being a candidate for the Penn State job and he's been so good to us I wouldn't fall to him to be an amazing opportunity and then even just what Matt Patricia's done obviously he's ridiculous like yeah we have these two great coordinators Chip Kelly and Jim Knowles they're both they're both I mean Knowles is atrocious look at Penn State's defense their show Chip Kelly's already been fired our head for last one year and his new job and look at this I mean I'm a winner Ryan Daze or winner Buckeye fans are winners the team of course are winners obvious though the winners there it's all it stirs the strength yeah a great day it's great day team up who won the week so in Game of Thrones Brandon if you want to be a priest of the Drown God they'd drown you and bring you back to life because what is dead may never die that was basically Ryan Day in the 2024 game he had to get fully dead and have his heart restarted and now he's a walking revenge zombie and I said it earlier I've I agree with you Dynastic is the feeling they've had all season long who won the day I mean big F uh but I would say you know maybe maybe me maybe like give it you know the hottest in town you know I mean feels pretty good feels pretty good right now if it happens I think well so yeah me I won the crazy who won the week I mean it's Ohio State it's of I I'm gonna double down on that I mean Oklahoma is definitely in that conversation as well we broke all that down earlier and it's you know they're gonna be in the playoff but Ohio State with you know that what happened last year and you know Lord willing and it's it's just watching the way that that team bounced back from losing their rival but it's everybody associated with Ohio State I mean you watch big noon kickoff for three hours today and you see all the Michigan fans out there just booing urban and urban has to sit there and be like yeah we haven't won since 2019 and then there's a COVID year and all I swear to God every segment on big noon kickoff they were like you know 2000 whatever however many days it was and it was just like that was the narrative going in and it's crazy to me because I'm sitting here and I'm just like they won the national championship last year I would do a horrible discussing filthy things to win a national championship but they have to sit here on this you know on this stage and just hear about losing this team and you've got Dave and a maybe women's jacket I don't know talking about how it's the easiest game on the schedule just everything that maybe it was cinched around the waist maybe whatever it may be but not I mean it's Ohio State as a whole because it really is like just you know like a black stain for whatever reason you know with the rivalry game last year it's like you guys completely lifted that after when we did the podcast after the national championship last year when we're all in Chicago and all it was like 2 a.m. and I was like you know this completely lifts the narrative of Ryan Day was born on third base we can't say that anymore we won a national title now there's nothing you can say about this team there's nothing you can say about this coach and you know if you're in Ohio State fan you're happy but I bet Ryan Day's having a fucking night if you didn't have his nipples pierced already that man probably is getting his nipples he's doing some shit tonight also Liam Liam on the day I mean say that and I believe space because Duke is in the AC championship and he got his coach black man who on the week oh Brandon so many winners so man you start with Lang Kiffin and the chancellor just having the good old time the night watching the iron bowl together like just spending Thanksgiving weekend with your boy watching some good football that's what we all did Lang Kiffin and his little reporter buddy well who isn't so little Diego Pavia had his high-spin moment and it's all because he signed the jersey for that kid post game and that's and personalized a very cool moment for Diego the Oklahoma defense big winner Dante Moore ever since the pick six against Indiana every time organ has needed a big time throw Dante Moore has made the big time throw Bruce the Buckeye we we haven't even talked about him he is maybe the MVP of the game I have we not talked about Bruce the Buckeye dodging the I X and out the M what are performance from Brutus Miami makes a statement Malachi Tony baby Jesus what a freak Texas arching company Brent Brennan Arizona Brandon family Jason X the league coaching job at New Mexico we're waiting to see if they're in the man West championship game or not but what a season for them 70 new players 70 plus new players Jason X did arguably the best job of any coach this season Stanford tiring to be the pressured quarterback who beat USC when he was at Stanford when they're 41 point dogs played with Andrew Luckett Stanford I think that's a really cool dynamic head coach GM who played with one another in the same quarterback room and then Yale they let the Ivy League into the playoffs Yale's down 42-14 with three minutes off the third quarter at Youngtown State Yale wins 43-42 what a win for Yale what a win for the Ivy League that's a very nice well well Brandon it's like in it's like in Lord of the Rings right and in return of the King when they're getting ready for the ballot in a little Pellanore fields and Pippin scared he's talking to Gandalf and they're talking about how if you go to Valor you know the undying lands in the West like basically like you know what is it feel like to die again I'm seeing this you know some of my brand why aren't you like you know you seem like you don't know them up did you go pop his entire family get arrested tonight brother mayor may not have Brandon who won the week thank you I prepared when Bloodman goes on his rant I like him pointing out everybody but I wrote down a winner that I knew was so off the beaten path nobody was gonna fucking say it and this ginger ugly fuck this motherfucker hmm you piece of fucking shit I'm sorry I have to go through all that shit that you said I have to go through all that shit and you mentioned Brutus yeah I KB no context man here did KB passive because Ryan Day did this thing at the end where they're gonna win with class and they're gonna win with humility and he didn't want me by planting the flag and they just celebrated they did it with class but meanwhile Brutus is on the field during the game X-ing out the M in Michigan riding Ohio dotting the eye in the snow to the point that grown-ass fucking man grown-ass man wearing Michigan had to get on their hands and knees in the snow and wife but are like what's going on in your life dude the tears down in the fucking ground and a ass whip and you're laying in the fucking what a mascot did the snow think about your life buddy Brutus fuck I won the fucking week and that's what I said that's got to be for that and I said this earlier that you know Ryan Day really like he basically said like let's act like we've been here before because we have we won the national title we don't need to do all that you know they had the jackson or whatever that's all finding good I like the petty this because it wasn't rivalry games and I mean like even like the fight Brandon in the in the eggball I love seeing that shit so the fact that Brutus was like you know what my coach is gonna be classy but I'm gonna go low as I can love to see it how many hands we got one we have one Brandon don't worry we got one we've experienced okay we love experience we talk depth charts power rankings and playbooks all day but who's got a playbook for your finances that's where experience steps in your big financial friend it moving forward everybody needs a BFF let experience help you with your finances EXP ER I a N experience I mean if you're a Michigan Wolverine fat I don't know how you wake up in the morning I don't know what you do with your with yourself with your life like what pauses you have going for you you have you have nothing you had a false provato and then you just got bent over and spanked by your arch nemesis and your home field in front of the nation what do you have left you have nothing there's nothing positive going on in a program they pray price under what 12 million dollars stinks imagine paying that guy 12 million honestly the smartest thing Dave ever did was get Larry Ellis to pay that money because thank God Dave didn't pay that money it was on pocket or else maybe we have a company would be fucked we have Michigan they're just stone cold losers they yeah I mean what like what do they do going forward what do you How do you wake up in the morning after a beating like that like you said not just like listen Anyone could go trade in the pocket and get knocked out like they bent over and spanked a Masculated who just just embarrassed. I mean we won however we wanted they're lucky to still came down We started to just run the ball down their throat and milk and clock or we might have won this thing by Sushi again. I think Ole Miss lost the week and to do it. I mean You've win the eggball you finish off the sun fucking real 11 and one season you're top playoff seed your championship frisky and like Your coach leaves you for maybe not your archival, but your maybe second main rival and like one that he's brought you a lot of joy and beating And and if it doesn't happen then I guess I look at any of you here, but oh god. I just it's like a fucking awful place to be like That's that's really That's how you caused someone incredible in security because there's no convincing Ole Miss that it wasn't them You very clearly was them. They did everything. They got super in shape They got as hot as they possibly could they gave them all the money in the world and he's still bailed for this ratchet-ass bitch in Baton Rouge Well, at least clearly they can turn him into a housewife though No, we're ratchet ratchet. That's what I'm saying ratchet recognize ratchet. That's all they need to ratchet housewife You know, I mean listen, maybe so there's ratchet housewives everywhere. Casey who lost a week? Well, I hate to do this. I really do and again if this was 24 hours ago, I would have probably said it in much less eloquent way Let me preface this by saying congratulations to the Texas Longhorns. You did you did beat us Congratulations, that's amazing It's gonna hurt really bad for a while. There's no doubt you never want to lose to your art rival You're not making the fucking playoffs. You can stop crying stop begging stop campaigning I don't care that you lost Ohio State if you're gonna schedule somebody a non-conference beat him I don't know go to South Bend and beat Notre Dame You cannot lose to four and eight Florida and then cry that you're not in the playoffs so congratulations You won in Austin You have to sit at home and watch a and M in the playoffs You lost the weekend as a whole you won the game Congratulations, and I know Ev has gone through it and I get that and I'm not saying that a and M is gonna win the national title What I am saying is if you have to beg the playoff committee beg for a spot when you are the number one team Going into the season and you're now sitting at home begging while you have to pretend that you did something in Austin You didn't do shit. You got to win. Congratulations. Enjoy it while we're in the playoff and you're sitting at home. Thank you very much All-time spins off But am I wrong this is a place if I you got to play the hand you're dealt. I've been there I said if this was last night I would have been sitting here saying like this is the worst loss of all time and again I'm still very upset there. I I'm pouted all day today I legitimately was like I'm not even gonna get on social media. I can't even do it I get hurts it hurts so bad, but then I've watched Ev deal with it again It's a item. I'm not comparing a man. Oh, I have to say I've watched you have to spin zone it a little bit It stinks that a and M's not going to Atlanta. I don't know Marcel Reed's gonna get some rest the boys are gonna get some rest Hey, Texas. Congratulations. You beat us. You're still not going to the fucking playoff. Sorry. Don't lose to Florida This is risky doing it Liam. I love you like a brother Who lost the week So the pack two coach champions Washington state and Oregon state are coach champions of a two team Conference we can't have a conference championship game the two best words in sports game three We can't do it. We can't cook that up Kentucky massive lose their 41 nothing Louisville Stock with Mark stupes really make a move goodness. The agopovia's brother Javier was arrested for the second time this season Second time this season Javier has been arrested the Oklahoma offense Okay, sure on more as we mentioned The if he was on the open market if he was a head coach looking for a job right now was the best job You would get sure ain't Michigan is sure in the power four team It might be a Mac team and that's that coach of the mighty Michigan Wolverines Best of luck to you guys the Michigan. We need to talk about head guy in the ref what a moment that was what a moment or a state Hey, all right, having announced like two three weeks ago that they're holding on to Mike Norval who just lost 41 to this version of Florida. Yes, they're not caused by Billy Napier today This is a terrible Terrible Florida team who had talent. Yes, I get it It's more about Florida state It's more about the fact that this team went two and ten last year five and seven this year and they're instilling so much confidence in Mike Norval This is the new normal for a state the anomaly was the 13 when season Georgia Tech's a big loser. It's not in the field It's taking eight million dollar Profit to sell out your rivalry with Georgia The selling it to Marseille's Benz and then Marseille's say says Ben's stadium just dunking on you all night on their Twitter account What a pathetic look congrats on the eight million dollars probably won't do anything I like Georgia Tech. I'm moving for you guys selling out. I hate it. I don't like it. I miss what this sport used to be Jacob Rodriguez stat padding Backfires he threw in their reception today. Nobody wants to be about nobody wanted to put it out there I respect to grind if you're gonna have a low light you have to put it out there Ryan Williams has to be gone from Alabama We didn't even mention his name because he didn't have a catch today Ryan Williams regressed this season. He was looked at as a top two receiver in the sport many studies Better than Jeremiah Smith there wrong in the moment. They're certainly wrong now Is he a top 20 receiver in the sport? Great question. Where does he go from here? And then Marty Smith Marty Smith was trapped in all Mrs. Facility for what? 14 15 hours today the poor man's still there. He can't sleep Oh my god dude, he's never gonna escape instant instant meme Liam. You can you can say things about A&M if you want No, I still think the same of them. Okay Brandon who lost me Well Up to and unfortunately it looks like one of them may be me my brand of Walker guarantee that Lane Kippell Yeah, I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight, and we'll find out in the morning, but I it's my credibility as As a costable guy and really means a lot to me, and I hope I hope I don't have to live in a world where I have to be wrong about this But anyway, I'm I'm an I'm actually I'm tweeting I'm tweeting freezing cold takes right now to make sure he's on That motherfucker lives in my backyard Anyway, so so nine a.m. I assume local time is to be local time is when the meeting's gonna happen Brandon. What what? If you're a player, why would you go that meeting? Because you gotta get a recruiter to your next school Stin the zoom link bro. The meeting is you guys are calling with me on this plane right now All right my real loser and Liam mentioned it briefly But it's this robbery loss. It's kind of going under the radar today because it's Continued with the game didn't matter But like if there's a sadder group of fans in the in the world right now in costable world than Kentucky fans They had 140 yards of total offense and a 41 nothing loss against Louisville today And Kentucky started a little life in the back half of the season and it all got flushed down the down the toilet today And one of the worst losses you'll ever see and they had to realize and then Mark snoops is basically like Gloting that they they're not gonna fire me after the game and they're stuck with Mark snoops They don't want Mark snoops and they're stuck with the guy who just won a robber game 41 nothing and stuck his thumb in their eyes saying Ah, you're stuck with me. That sucks for Kentucky. Tucky a good fan base deserves better than what Mark snoops is giving him right now And this I think that loss kind of went under the radar, but my god awful awful stuff out of Kentucky Anyway Does everybody have a shit list and T-Bob you probably have a headless, but big enough. I know you got something for me. Give it to me See to be honest, Brennan. It's a it's a beautiful day The sun's not smaller the birds are chirping. They're singing. It's beautiful. Everything's great. My family's happy and healthy It's everything's fantastic. It's just it's great. I don't I don't have a show. How could I have a show list? I've heard daylight today. How could I shoot on anything? Honestly, you know, I'll think it's time to say I'll say another loser that didn't get mentioned I'm sure you I have to imagine you guys talked about it earlier, but just no one mentioned so I have to say it is fucking hit holy shit I I didn't get to watch any of that game because we on in our we were only watching Ohio seat I was hit obviously was off the same time But I mean to not do you to do his whole rant about Notre Dame, and that gave us a matter the only games that matter are these last two And you're at home and you get absolutely Legend? No, granted. I think mine. I mean obviously they proved that the better team but I went into it thinking they were they were better on paper But I thought this is gonna be a classic like kind of Miami-Choke spot where they go on the road They know they have everything there. They have they have to win it to even like stay alive and But and they get thumped so pit is a big big big loser. So I guess they're my shit less I'm gonna go into my shit. Let's hear them. I Thought you know Ohio State went in comfortably Kind of set themselves in a good path. I Thought Michigan acted like complete ass holes in the loss the imagery of Ohio State celebrating with their fans in the end zone as Michigan's player stood only him at the middle of the field trying to play defense again An attack that never came and wasn't coming. Ohio State got there when shook their each other's hands and was fine Just getting off the field and Michigan like Because they were they because they did that last year planted a flag and all that they're gonna stand on their end They they still don't feel where they showed zero fight all day the line of scrimmage and the coaching staff They showed zero fight and at the end they all want to stand on the end and act like they're protecting their house Protecting their home turf when Ohio State had nothing to do with it. It was a pathetic pathetic pathetic display from a team that has bad leadership and is just lost and then and perhaps got it perfectly That win last year is the worst thing that has ever happened to Michigan because they tricked them into thinking their coach was good and tricked them into thinking Ohio State was bad and Everything has changed since then see Bob do you have a hit list or should list so real quick You said big upset and perfectly Brandon, but of course you know that they did not create Frankenstein They create Frankenstein's monster because Frankenstein is the doctor doctor Frankenstein so they didn't create for it I just wanted to point of clarity. Uh hitlist hit list That excellent sound work is Hitlist Oklahoma like just I wanted to mention this and I forgot to the fact that I thought they were as dead as dead Could be before the year and now we look up in their ten and two like shout out my guy Jim naggy shout out Oklahoma shut up intervals proving us all wrong and then Brandon I'm sorry. I was looking to beat them. I'll tweet when you're doing the Mark stupes thing because he's my shit list Did you talk about the quote after the game Mark stupes the quote? Zero percent chance that I walk. Yeah, I mean, that's just fucking crazy. Also, I call Mark poops. So of course is on my shit list. That's it Casey. Oh, I got a shit list. Oh look at her face There was so much attitude in that face Well, always it is the security guard and I will give him some credit if he is a police officer at The DKR press room at Texas Stadium. Okay, now listen I'm sure you guys can all give me pushback. I deserve pushback a little bit But let me tell you something right now my uncle went viral last night. Okay, he went viral last night With a clip where he was very angry about a lot of noise going on. Okay, he was mad He said let's run a professional press conference shut the door and the whole internet was like oh see he's a sore loser Oh, no, no, no, no come to find out what was actually happening Which who knew at at DKR that the press conference room is in the concourse It's not away from everyone. It's not next to the locker rooms It's right in the middle of the goddamn concourse. Okay, and there was a security guy Maybe a cop. I don't know again. Respect to to our first responders. That was opening and closing the door I put it in air quotes for anybody who wanted to come in in the middle of Michael goes press conference And it seemed that he was maybe leaving the door open a little bit too long on purpose to let the celebrations of the concourse come into The press room now that's fucking Bush League. Okay, we run a professional press conference around here You shut the door if you're late to the press conference. You shouldn't be allowed in you shouldn't be allowed in when the coach is shopping Okay, but everybody on the internet wanted to spin it as it was the Texas locker room Celebrating and Mike Elco was just no, no, no, no, no It was the drunk lot more assholes eating their cheese and wine Celebrating a win they should be celebrating and it made coach Elco look like a store loser I just want to put out there the narrative the guy should have closed the door Don't fucking leave the door open for your drunk ass hole fans to interrupt my coach. Okay, be better Better Shit list so You look at the conference championship games to us upcoming Friday and Saturday and you'll notice one oh mission We don't know Who's playing in the Man West championship game? You have boys. He stays six and two in conference You have New Mexico six and two in conference and you go say six and two in conference you know V six and two in conference You have a four-way tie We do not know who is playing in the conference championship game But tomorrow much like they would do in high school football We're not going to gas station and flipping coins though. Fuck. We are doing what tea Bob wants so desperately for the world of college football We do decide the Mellon West conference championship match up by a composite average of four polls The Conley's SP plus ESPN's strength of record a KPI and sports source Yes, we'll ensure that the two highest average rankings will play in the conference championship game I'm not saying the god good or a bad thing I'm eager to say to just see who's in this game But I just wanted to put it out there at Saturday night we have Tomorrow, I guess we're gonna find out Analytically nerdily who's playing in the MWC championship game. I think it's I'm gonna be stunned at boys. He states in there To be clear flipping coins would have been way more badass The Texas flipping the coin thing was one of the coolest shits I've ever seen Yeah, they could gather it at like the four corners and just start flipping like doing best the sevens. I would rock I think the Mellon West championship game probably should be you and I'll be in New Mexico I is but I mean, I mean, we'll see it definitely should not be boys. He's state I'm mate Should I say this out loud? Yeah, God I may have DM. Dan Mellon yesterday in a fit of it. I'm I may have DM. Dan Mellon been like People do people do things in moments of desperation. What'd you say? We don't believe in levy you up Did Tommy take your phone again? I hold on hold on. I like the moment. Oh, there's the NFL Michigan guy who who said my kids hate me because I said Michigan Anyway, yeah, who's a packers full back or something. Yeah Friday, November 28 to 50 p.m. Brandon Walker DMs. Dan Mellon. Please come home to Starkville I like it. I like the move. Oh, you just you didn't even try to play coin. You just went straight up like I miss you big head Brandon Chatsin. I guess he read it. Chatsin Mellon don't miss All right, um, thanks for watching. I think we'll probably come to you Tuesday night because I feel like this playoff ranking It's gonna be more important than the rest of them have been so 100% Big head maybe and maybe maybe there will be an emergency press conference if Lane actually goes Pay attention tomorrow. There's no no telling what's gonna happen tomorrow Big head tip to you. I'll give you last word on this podcast. What do you got? I'll just say this because I want to address what you said about the like them trying to block the the flag plant I honestly didn't bring it up because I was so unbothered by it because I thought it was so cute like even the even the running back A pretzel or whatever's name is in the post presser like he was he had this like shaving grid like he was so like proud of himself Like yeah, we we we weren't gonna let that happen. I was like guy You let what we did whatever we wanted on the field if we wanted to kick your ass and go plant the flag We would have done it the same way that we ran them all down your throat. We would have done it It was just adorable for him to have that by so I was like we just beat you up like if we wanted to go plant the flag We would have went plant the flag That's right. It was it was truly it was embarrassing. I was so unbothered by it I didn't feel the need to address it, but he got brought up So I wanted to just give my my two cents on it. That's it. They're just Bitch ass football team. I put it and I'll say this too. They're you can you so you felt it with their fans in an upper right away Where I think they realized holy shit we've been such pieces of shit for like four or five years We really let this thing get to our head and now they're already they're trying they're trying to go more respectful now Because they realize oh we like we have hell to pay and they know it I'm not letting up for a second because my game of this company we were on a 70 whatever win streak and I took it for granted I'm not taking shit for granted and we pummel them every year. They're gonna hear about it every fucking year every year every second every fucking day go off. Okay That's it. All right. We'll see you later later this week KC you doing a picture? Yeah, I've looked you for Instagram Okay, thanks for watching and thanks to big F for being a sport and I felt very much massive travel issues and he checked in from an airport. That's winning shit right there. So thank you and we will be back on Tuesday. Goodbye.
