Rock Bottom | Son of a Boy Dad #428

The episode blends lifestyle and personal storytelling, featuring a heartfelt recommendation of Abercrombie’s fall wardrobe essentials—especially the Sloan-Taylor pants and a denim-Henley combo for everyday elegance. It also highlights the Chevy Equinox as a practical and stylish vehicle for various life scenarios, from city drives to weekend adventures. A major promotional segment focuses on High Noon spirits, emphasizing their real vodka, clean taste, and refreshing profile, with a special note on the availability of single-flavor packs like peach and pineapple. Personal anecdotes unfold around a recent trip to the Hamptons, where the host enjoys a surprise birthday party, plays low-stakes blackjack, and wins prizes like a dinner at Per Se and a box of cigars. The experience is described as both fun and chaotic, with a humorous moment about watching the movie *The Odyssey* in an IMAX theater, where the loud sound caused physical discomfort, leading to a candid reflection on sensory overload. The host also shares a relatable, self-deprecating moment of eating rotisserie chicken with bare hands in a parking lot, symbolizing vulnerability and authenticity. The episode ends with a lighthearted discussion on dating, weight loss, and sports culture, including a playful jab at Sophie Cunningham and a critique of sports media double standards. The tone remains upbeat, introspective, and grounded, blending humor with real-life struggles and joys. Throughout, the show promotes lifestyle products, including Aura Frames as a meaningful gift option, and encourages listeners to engage with the content through social media and exclusive promo codes.

baseball game circled and i'm also counting that as a date with high noon it's going to be real vodka i'm a vodka guy i'm going to be you could also go with the tequila and it's going to have no malt in it and you will be able to taste that difference every single time you will taste the difference real vodka real juice low calorie count incredible flavors drinkability out the wazoo i'm quite confident you're not wrong i mean it's something about how it it's not that sugary malt based drinks that you know just make you feel awful uh it's light crisp and refreshing and it drinks so much better than those it's made with real vodka real juice and no artificial aftertaste and i'm talking no artificial aftertaste it's clean i love high noon we love high noon yeah um so excited to have them on as a as a partner on the show but just i'm drinking them regardless absolutely um all of this is huge for us because my favorite flavor which is peach okay is now available in single flavor eight packs so we're not gonna have to fight you and me what's your favorite flavor i'm a pineapple man they already have the eight pack of pineapple right here but you know i'm pretty malleable but good well even if i mean it sounds like we wouldn't have a problem you and i but if we did like the same flavor we wouldn't have to fight for the last peach or pineapple in the pack um make sure to visit highnoonspirits.com to find a high noon near you all righty welcome back to the son of a boy that podcast today it is august 17th it is 1 30 p.m and we are here live from hq3 welcome back welcome back francis roan looks like you have regained full functionality in your knee i'm gonna be in when are we gonna lose the brace because now it seems a little performative i'm gonna be in the rockettes before you know it yeah should i just take it off now no no no because i got a feeling if you take it off it's all like flaky and shit under there yeah it's like a withered like grandmother willow do you sleep with it on no no i mop it off just having the brace and no boxers ass naked in a sleep it would be a good look francis welcome back brother we missed you like crazy last week yeah uh missed you guys for sure um i saw some of the war mode episode and i want to just kind of clarify this whole bohemian grove situation um first of all you both completely missed me misrepresented me to our friends you're like francis's dad goes all the time i said my dad went once and recently secondly my take was i don't think they're killing and eating children i think it's just gay which is exactly what war mode said i know and so you guys were like but francis is we were hoping it was going to be something more they really said exactly what you said yes yeah yeah yes i saw to turn into like you're they discover that you're like a uh like a cia operative or great that you had your fingerprints on some kind of like assassination of or like the bay of pigs or some shit the sad part of this is is that i wanted to be that and i didn't i wasn't good enough i failed at that so now i'm here talking to you guys about bullshit all the time and yet everyone still accuses me of being some like deep state you know plan i wasn't good enough you gotta actually know your shit to do that there's no way a deep state guy's gonna come on to the podcast and be like and i'm in it i'm in the deep state now and i'm part of it this would be exactly what they would say this would be the playbook it would be what they would say however they wouldn't be here what do they say like i saw a clip of shane talking about it on rogan what is it like it's like a cia disinformation it's like cia plants that are supposed to come in and be like counterintelligence it's like no like people that are like go in they're in the cia but then they just like tell a bunch of lies a disinformation artist artist of the skies pistachio so you could be that i'm the most honest like i shared way too much yeah but it's like good it's just a good cover story it's just like a really strong cover story it's just a perfectly crafted cover story do travel a lot we might have to get fucking i gotta go on the road we might have to get danny to follow you around for a week who's danny to do like a personal investigation in the shadows he's gonna catch you under the brooklyn bridge meeting with some guys in trench coat the falcon flies at midnight wait does danny conrad what does he do he does like a little like uh like like documentary style following people around like he's doing it with dante dante the doc which is great but he'll he'll follow you from a distance fair enough and really find out if you're if you have like a layer that opens up underneath the manhattan bridge where you drive out in aston martin getting high speed chases and shit i'm imagining you like going down into the subway station with roan and then like you get off and then you like get back on secretly just hand him a bag without saying anything we walk past each other follow the bag follow the bag that would be great it would be such a good cover story it would man how was it where so you how was the i mean without telling us any of the things you can't tell us how was your trip it was great it's the coolest tournament in the world i'm very excited for people to see it i don't i can't talk about it i really just don't want to talk about it at all probably the best i i don't want to i don't trust myself to like not indicate yeah yeah yeah so um but i but it's people are gonna love it we even trim this down a little bit honestly well well you said it's the coolest tournament in the world and sass is always doing all-of-duty tournaments so yeah yeah i know you took that personally you're talking about the ewccs2 tournament yeah it sounded like a blast it was great it was awesome the the people there i i'm excited we'll talk at length about it when when it comes out but um dude last night so i got home on friday and i crashed and then i went to my buddies had a like his wife set up like a surprise birthday party for him in the hamptons and i went out there on saturday i'm not a hamptons guy at all you guys know me you're montauk no that's hamptons to me yeah anyone at this point tries to draw any distinction between montauk and the hamptons is fucking i always just thought montauk was way further it is way further but like you would have argued back in the day that like montauk is this charming fishing village that's down to earth whereas the hamptons are like the glitzy glamour old money yeah not a chance anymore montauk is just as wealthy as the hamptons but uh and like clubby and sceney yeah yeah um but you know you know me i'm not a hamptons guy i'm a i'm upstate you're upstate right you know the ins and outs of it perfectly but you're not a hamptons guy you're just one or the other and i i like to strap on a flannel and cut down trees and have cozy fires get the hands dirty yeah a tree and catch like some maple syrup into an envelope i want my hands and fingers i want them stuck together i want webbed fingers at the end of my day sap covered in sap yeah a little sap little sap squash um but uh i went out there and um then spent the night we had a great time she set up this really like hired a blackjack dealer where we played for prizes which was super cool and the prizes were awesome oh that's fun so it's like no stakes like low stakes i guess this is not money like you can't lose correct that's fun i've all i've honestly for a while i've been searching for that a money-free casino i think it would be a blast go just play roulette for fucking six hours yeah but like when you do i've done that at like company retreats sometimes they'll have that and it's the most boring thing in the world i can see it being fun for like an hour you need something but a prize a prize is great prize is great yeah but when usually when you go to the xbox 360 they're like all right here's your 50 000 in chips yeah and you're like i wish i if i was at a real casino and i'm like all right much money all in on the first hand oh no it landed on black can i have another 50 000 all right here you go yeah you're like all right i do love the prize system though the prize system was awesome you're looking for a david and busters at dave and busters for but with like better games because if you go to a dave and busters now the games are really bad and not fun i want a real i'm really nice box of cigars oh and that's a great prize it was a great prize it was the fourth place prize what was first dinner at per se for two wow per se is the top restaurant of course of course how many stars three although they might have just gotten demoted to two for the first time it's thomas keller's restaurant here in new york it's fancy it's expensive as hell it's not bib gourmand it's actual stars so do you get the is the whole meal paid for or is it just a reservation no the whole meal is what good i'm sure it's hard to get a reservation i don't think it's that hard yeah but is it and is it harder than a box of cigars like uh that can't be the first place prize just just the reservation think of this dinner at per se is like 1200 bucks for two people really yeah then solid bra second prize was a like really nice bottle of old weller whiskey uh and then third place i think was like some really sick tomahawk and wagyu steaks and then fourth was uh the cigars i think cigars might be the top yeah for me it was what i wanted the steak and the cigars um anyway how many cigars are we talking here six we can smoke them yeah we can do them here i mean i would six of us in this room right now but you better finish them oh yeah i smoked a cigar this weekend you better smoke it all the way down to the tip yeah i smoked a cigar with old levy old levy boy yeah of course i beat him i smoked a minute and he was like it's not a race you're supposed to enjoy and i said it's always a race he's right he's not it's always a race it's race it's like it's not a race but it is a race like if i'm if i'm beating him by i would say 10 drags that's uh that goes to show that's like that shows your character who you are as a man i think it's like a eternal flame type of situation it's the longer you can make it last no that's when you go for a second cigar correct exactly two cigars is always too greedy and then you can try to lap someone exactly and then if you lap them you get the rest of your cigar yeah you can take it from them yeah i forgot that rule anyway okay so i'm coming home this uh yesterday i stayed out there saturday night hung out on sunday for a bit during the day and then i'm driving home on sunday and i stopped to go see the odyssey by myself oh no spoilers i'm seeing it on thursday are you not familiar with the odyssey because it's pretty close to what happens yeah yeah of course in the book we were forced to read i was not forced to read it okay um but what did you see at 40x 70 millimeter what are we talking i saw imax really yeah just imax not not in 40 millimeter or 70 millimeter and i'll tell you what it was so the movie was so loud in the imax theater that i spent no less than 90 percent of the movie covering my ears wait where were you sitting in the in the theater were you right by the the uh speaker i was in the uh handicap assistant seat wait and you're right next to the fucking i must have been it was so loud that i i was like it was distracting hurting myself it hurt your shoulder it hurts your shoulder it's so loud you guys both saw it i didn't see it with him but i saw it in the imax in the handicap row because i literally there was only like two seats left i got the handicap for my wife and i was in a wheelchair for mine i pulled up in a wheelchair with i didn't even think about that yeah where'd you get a wheelchair i rented a wheelchair for a day you rent it from the theater no i rented it from a wheelchair company that's how much did those run you like 150 bucks what the hell it's an expensive movie and it's and we we had to return it the next day and it sat in the lobby of my building for three days while the wheelchair company waited to pick it up i could have been whipping around town in a wheelchair you could have seen a lot of movies i could have been i could have got i could have memorized the odyssey by now right it was so loud though it was unbelievably loud and uncomfortable my shoulders hurt from having my hands above my ears the whole time it hurt your shoulders it wasn't good but the movie was good i i did really like the movie i enjoyed it a little autistic kid huh yeah yeah plugging your ears rocking back and forth i don't like loud noises eating nerds rope like spaghetti like a plate of spaghetti slurping down a single nerd it's also kind of unfair that they subject the handicapped people to being blasted with the loudest noise yes where should we put the speakers oh well they're already not walking around let's just make them deaf too and by the way a person did come in in a wheelchair next to me but fortunately the person their their sort of companion handler was to the right of them whereas i was to the left very nice that's lucky it was lucky was it packed this person was also on a respirator so whenever the movie was quiet enough which wasn't much i had to listen to the dialogue over oh man next to you yeah i mean look you know the whole experience was a feast of sounds that i did not find palatable but did you like the movie i liked the movie visually stunning what about what about the story and all that you should have put wax in your ears honestly should have like i'm i'm getting to the point where i'm like it's been out for a while i feel like the hype has kind of died down a bit i'm wondering if i just save it for home you should see it in the theater is it is it as good as people were making it out to be in the beginning or is it a little bit slow no i think it's new i don't think i didn't find it slow at all but if you had to critique it give us some if i had to critique it it it's that travis scott is in it almost i would say is he oh he does yeah i guess now i understand who he was the black character um you played helen of troy yeah an interesting casting choice no but um if i had to critique it i would say that you know with other stories that christopher nolan has taken on he's had so much license to sort of do his cool shit where he like weaves in and out of timelines and stuff like that the odyssey is so known as a story that he i felt like he was handcuffed to a degree to how well known this story was yeah he wasn't letting loose he couldn't like if you think about the way that he chose to do oppenheimer so good told through these like trials yeah backwards and then whatever i mean that was so cool that's a top five for me easy movie ever yeah i like it better than oppenheimer really you liked the odyssey better than yeah really you're big on the odyssey i thought it was really good but i agree that it was like oppenheimer yeah i thought that that was a little bit um it just didn't have the excitement that i was looking for whoa i mean you know if you know what happens in the odyssey you know what happens in oppenheimer like you that is shocking to hear but you didn't like the dark night either i love the dark night dark night's incredible but like the dark night unfolds in front of you oppenheimer was i mean i don't think i've enjoyed a movie that much in a decade yeah but you were you were still drinking at the time and you were not of oppenheimer you were i was on the kajish already yeah i was on the kajish already you're you're so fried at the time you're on the kajish so heavy i think that i i agree that in both of them you're kind of locked into the story yeah and if quentin tarantino had directed the odyssey uh odysseus would have killed hitler at the end or something like that yeah yeah you know they would have been able to have something juicy but it was a little bit like and hathaway would have been trans yeah tran hathaway wait so what are you what what what is like a good movie for you like what's like a great like what's like your favorite movie i just said i liked it better than the movie i didn't say oppenheimer is a bad movie yeah but you're kind of like like i'm waiting for one of you guys to be like the odyssey was unbelievable and neither i thought it was unbelievable yeah i thought it was unbelievable but are you just saying that because i just i just said i was waiting for someone to say there's a mexican in the wheelchair movie who said uh who's in the wheelchair road that next to me who said afterwards best movie since dark knight is what he said you must have not seen oppenheimer yeah no i thought it was i thought it was i chose barbie i thought it was really good really really good i really did is it but i just i just knew the story i knew the story so well i wrote papers on the odyssey yeah yeah so i had like i knew it so well watching harry potter i was not surprised by anything so therefore i just enjoyed the visuals and you don't know the story i don't know it's gonna knock your fucking socks off yeah i feel like not knowing the story would make it incredible so you both felt that way that's like watching uh oppenheimer and being like did civilization end with the nuclear bomb like do they do they complete it do the nazis get it first by the way i did not know you say we knew the story of oppenheimer i didn't know the story of no i didn't say that ron said that i said that i mean you we know that we know what winds up working that's true but like we don't know what oppenheimer i didn't know much anything about oppenheimer no god that i might have to re-watch that again just watch the odyssey first just go to the odyssey then it well now since you're such like uh a little dick argue lord that like you're just gonna you're gonna stick to this opinion no no no i never do that no matter what no i never like the 4dx experience of the odyssey could have like the sirens coming through your seat and sucking you off yeah and you still would be like oppenheimer clear no no no i would never i would never do that i'll go in i'm gonna go in with a clean slate no no i'll go in completely fresh you need to go see it in theaters so that you prove that you're not a little dick yeah yeah no i'm going i said i'm seeing it on thursday when did you say that 10 minutes ago i said i said no spoilers i'm seeing it on thursday and then you and then you said what do you not know the story of the odyssey which i then said uh yeah of course i was lying i don't know the story of the odyssey at all right right so no spoilers please okay so anyway really quick so i finished the odyssey i went alone right um power move then i get back in my car now it's 7 p.m i'm still an hour and a half from this from home in the middle of long island i went near jericho or some bay shore and love that breaking up the ride like that it was a good move yeah smart then i was hungry because i didn't eat anything in the theater you had nothing because the line to get to the concession stand was 50 people that was crazy and i was like i arrived five minutes into the previews and i was like i'll miss the start of the movie if i go yeah that's shit so i watched the whole movie no water no candy no soda no popcorn plugging my ears a long movie like i was like i was a technician checking to make sure things worked that's like when people raw dog a flight yeah yeah like i was an air marshal inside the theater to promise that no one would come in and shoot people you're just watching the exits yeah i get back in my car i realize i'm hungry so i go to whole foods in jericho and now it's like eight o'clock at night on a sunday night driving home from the hamptons and i go in and i get a rotisserie and some salad from the salad bar i get back in my car i thought well there's the the place that you can eat inside whole foods but that's the saddest place on earth you don't want to be there it's so it's very sad that is the loneliest saddest place on earth the one at wegmans is actually just a notch it's better because they have communal tables and stuff at the whole foods one it's just like oh you don't have anyone to bring this home this food home to yeah you don't you don't want to even get home with your groceries you want to just be indoors so you'll eat here okay fine here you go and i was like i'm not gonna do that and the reason i'm not gonna do that is because i'm eating a rotisserie chicken which i like to eat with my hands yeah and even the fucking lonely tables at the whole foods eatery are too classy of a place for me to eat my rotisserie chicken with my hands so i brought it into my car and i sat in the parking lot of a grocery store i took my shirt off it's crazy because i was wearing a white t-shirt and i didn't want to get chicken juice all over it it's the end of the night though still i might i like my t-shirts clean smart smart and i was sitting there eating a rotisserie chicken with my hands in my car and i thought i'm gonna eat my rotisserie chicken with my hands and i'm like i'm gonna eat my this is rock bottom this is rock bottom i found it and i thought about i even pulled out my phone to film because when that's how things work with me is that i realize that something i'm doing is absurd and then i'm like i should share this yeah i don't contrive a lot of the time but uh i filmed and i sort of admitted i was like this is what divorce looks like you know like here i am sitting in this at 8 p.m on a sunday night and i'm like i'm gonna eat my rotisserie chicken with my hands eating rotisserie chicken shirtless with i can't turn the lights of my car on because i don't want people to see inside what i'm doing in the dark so i'm just grabbing blindly at chunks of chicken off the car why do you eat the entire chicken with your hand like i get the drumsticks how do you eat a rotisserie chicken out of a bag with utensils how no he's saying you got to eat it like corn on the cob and just bring the carcass to your mouth it's dripping it's very wet it's so wet it's so wet but that juice is so good it is in fact i tipped the bag and drank it oh no and listen oh no listen to this that's rock bottom the whole thing was right it wasn't rock bottom until you tipped the bag i was tipping the bag if i'd had a straw i would have done it bro at one point when i was checking out the lines the lines with people were too long so i went to self-checkout because i only had like four items and i was trying to scan the bag of chicken and the barcode was on the bottom so i was tilting it and all the juice spilled out of the bag all over the fucking scanner and i called the guy over for help and i was like look man i'm so sorry but i don't know why and he's like just take the gun and scan it oh yeah well i didn't even know that was an option yeah yeah that's what the gun's for what is that for anyway so i have the footage on my phone but i'm i was like i can't even post this it's so dark dude but that's the best kind of it's probably so it's so dark that i don't think people would even believe me yeah yeah but it's like no one said in the dark night it's always darkest before the dawn exactly that means that the sun's about to come up on you i i'm really uh in a lost place right now i am why'd you pull over doesn't your car drive doesn't it like couldn't you just set it to auto drive and you just sit in your car i forgot about that and i wish i had done it that way because i would have killed i would have been progressing home yeah do you trust that though like you think it would take you it would do a good job of getting you where you want to go because i know those things kind of have a mind of their own the one i've never had a bad experience with it do you have napkins i did have napkins yeah i do think it's still not rock bottom though because it was a pretty healthy meal yeah i don't know i mean i i will always be that way even at rock bottom dude if i start eating like see that's rock bottom dude yeah you're not there you're not low main with my hands you're not there then i'll really have a problem that's rock bottom a fish full of lo mein this is my rock bottom it's healthy food with my hands in the dark in my car in a parking lot on a sunday night now you think it's rock bottom rock bottom is 20 piece chicken mcnugget two burgers two mcchickens i won't get there that won't that won't happen to me i hope i don't think i can get there i'll kill myself i will i definitely will if i'm like man i could it's chicken nugget time it'll be like all right i'm walking to the top of the brooklyn replacing the chicken nugget replacing the fries with nuggets yeah this is probably healthier that's rock bottom protein uh anyway so that would be it we'll see you next time bye bye my evening and it was very eye-opening um not really sure what i'm doing with my life right now but that's okay a lot of people in my life that are asking me about you and your life like people are like is francis okay oh they are yeah are they really yeah they're concerned yeah what am i what i thought i didn't think people i didn't know that i was indicating that you said a couple episodes ago you were just like it's so bad for me did i yes i don't know what it was but i got a lot of dms too and i got like bo was asking me he was like what's going on with francis and i was like i don't know oh well i mean i apologize i i don't know you don't have to apologize oh bo asks a lot of annoying questions he texted me it pisses me off every time i talk to him now he's like you guys record today i'm like yup what'd you guys talk about i don't fucking know dude listen when it comes out bo said hey what restaurants would you recommend for a date in the west village or soho area preferably italian um and i said esoti and he said love it is it typical for everything to be booked up a week out i said go at 5 30 put your name in you'll be fine look at him so he's coming to new york city for a big date uh yeah thursday that's when i'm going to the movies with him no with matt because he's going on a date and does his shenanigans where do you find this girl in birmingham i think oh he's bringing her he's importing her no no no she's out here he's bringing sand to the beach i don't know much about it so i can't really speak on it but i believe that she's out here for work or an internship or something like that i don't know but she's a birmingham coming back to birmingham after yeah and he thought she's there for business i'll make a trip of it take her on a nice date in the west village something like that yeah good for him but neither of them are from here so he really can't go wrong he doesn't know what he's doing i can i can guide him around maybe i should go on the date with them he was asking me for lumineers tickets i was like i don't you think i know the lumineers he's like you gotta have like you can probably get us free tickets to the lumineer what would make you think that well i was like what would make you think that i could get free tickets to lumineers you've got to do you've got to go into full cia francis mode and just be like lowering the menu halfway across the restaurant yeah yeah that's not a bad idea you also get into east sody you use your restaurant and then you get your you get the lumineers tickets yeah so peters and and bow are coming in yeah nate lives here now he moved here from where from massachusetts cool not main he's never been there no he was there but then he was back in mass i still don't where'd you live historia what are you brit you brought everyone to you and they're all moving here no only only nate moved here for now for now but i'm trying to get everyone here i love that i think bow will come eventually but he can't right now because of his flying stuff oh yeah and uh he's on the little fly i'm gonna try to get mad to just move out here where's matt living tell your rod yeah that's too far yeah we need peters here that's so crazy you named your video game team off of where your best friend lives well bush had been around for a while wait that was with your other best friend no no bush was we all created bush on black ops 3 yeah well your other best friend i think it was 2016 and it was because uh i think everyone's clan tags were trump and we made ours bush as a joke oh interesting yeah but so your logo really should be w of course they can't have it that they lose way too much yeah yeah we're also not it's not politically it's not politically charged anymore it also wasn't then it was yeah but he made a joke about w's and l's it was funny though i redownloaded black ops 3 on my playstation and i opened it up and i had all my emblems saved and they were they all said bush in them i was like holy shit goes back that far you've always been bush it's always been 13 years in the bush yeah exactly all righty guys let's talk about aura frames aura frames is the answer to every gifting moment i gave uh well not me personally my me and my sisters and my father as well gave my mother for mother's day and aura frame and let me tell you it's a really really good gift i mean it's it's hard not to like it's hard to give that gift to someone and then not like it what do you you don't like pictures you don't like personalized images you don't like every every memory of every great moment of your life exactly why would you not want that to you and it's you no no he just moved here last thursday what the fuck yeah yeah me him and jack went out to dinner went to hit the smith such a dope spot the smith like uh yeah that's like a it's like a great intro great introduction to right exactly it's like a starter kit yeah it's always funny like meeting up with my like like it's happened you guys have met jack it's like it's like they come from their jobs and they've got like their work shit on i'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt just feel like a piece of shit yeah meet at the smith meet at the smith get that hole in that sweater what happened there uh a piece of a fire came off and it landed on it you mean the the end of a joint no i would tell you if that's what it was it was not that it was well it looks bigger than a joint that looks like part of the cigar he was smoking with love yeah no i definitely wasn't wearing this in tampa in august you man i mean it it's cool it's cool how that happened it's a bummer yeah okay it looks like ass now yeah it's a real bummer it was actually it was uh i was at home for my sister's like we were like it was like a wedding celebration and uh she's married my older sister yeah we've talked about this a thousand times and then um and then we were sitting at a fire outside and a i know a really flammable for a little tiny piece of a an ember an ember to land and just what you got to do is you i think this would be up your alley if you like crocheted like a little like pop of color behind it or something like that like that just like put a little piece of red maybe a little red a little orange or something behind a lot of potential there just gave a little bit of pop of color yeah you can probably do that tonight you could get someone to put a patch over that or something that would make it look even cooler and more americana and yes lived in yeah maybe i'll put like the those military patches that we got maybe i'll put that over it yeah yeah the devil made me do it just take it to any one of those you know dry cleaning spots they always have someone in there some seamstress or something they can fix that up for you you'd be surprised they're they're artists yeah i'll do that no you won't you'll just complain about it i didn't complain about it at all i said it's a bummer you like telling people that at one point recently you were around a campfire yes of course who doesn't he's talking about a wedding that happened three years ago last year last summer last summer might as well be three years ago not even a year ago do they have kids nope oh my cousin just had a kid though oh shout out to my cousin shout out lizzie and tim lizzie and tim and what's their kid's name maverick i'll never say that's between me and them and and their child that's baker mayfield's kid's name maverick mayfield that's a great name isn't that great it's a great name unbelievable yeah and your dad's baker mayfield yeah that kid's coming out of the womb throwing 70 yards off a knee yeah dots that's crazy dipping dots how was uh where are you orlando tampa i was in tampa or i guess st petersburg yeah um for the joke world comedy festival oh shit yeah it was fun it was a good time how's the comedy jam what'd you sing i did not participate in the comedy jam not really my style crazy not really my uh that used to be you oh yeah if i was hammered i definitely would have done it what's the joke world joke world is that what you called it the festival yeah you know joke world the youtube channel i don't know if i do you do and they do it's the guy that does like he does like pretty much like a version of like the rundown but for comedy for like the week and then he makes a bunch of like best of compilations and stuff and he does the bracket i actually told gaz to hire him at bar stool when he had like 10 000 subscribers on youtube and they said gaz didn't want to and then he's doing his own festival now i'm a genius how many how many followers does he have there was a lot of people at the festival yeah there was it was a good time a lot of people on the festival it was like a deep roster how did he pay off them um i don't know i'm so ready for summer to be over i am too i'm i need football and i'm i'm done with short sleeves this was my coming out party of um i'm not participating in the heat anymore it's over for me well it's cool today it's damn near rainy today i thought a lot of people would be trying to hold on to summer i need some i need darkness why i need cold and i need football i need darkness cold and and you know someone yeah oh you need cuffing season to come back yeah you need to be under a blanket making soup for someone i'm not ready i'm not nobody's nobody's ready for this i i need to get some shit together before i can cuff so you're not ready can i be honest with you i need to lose 10 pounds whoa i've never said this before it's like ariana grande no no jenna ortega i'm not saying i i need to lose 10 pounds i weighed myself today and it was a big number bro so what you can't lose 10 where where is the 10 pounds coming from uh my my myself but where i don't know probably there's no fat on your body yeah i'm not saying well yeah there is of course there is it could always be i look fine i look fine but i'm i'm heavy and i think it's hurting my joints you're gonna lean down for winter that's not how it works i think i'm i'm getting more joint pain as a result of how heavy i am doing the workouts are you not smoking enough you might need to start smoking more i need to lay off the kush really probably the joints are bad for your joints yeah maybe damn i need to lay off the kush i need to lay off sugar sugar's been a demon in my life yeah i'm back on it i think i think you need to lay off upstate for a while yeah i'm staying away from that i think you have to stay away from upstate and here's why i think that as you uh enter into your cuffing season like finding a boo you're gonna need to spend a little bit of time in neighborhoods in new york to establish a pattern and then wait wait and then you're two months in and you're like have i told you about my place upstate and then you yeah knock her socks off and then you hibernate up there yeah yeah i think it's two months off that all sounds well and good but they say that the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results i think we're at a point now where we need to really consider that i should not be looking for a boo as you say uh in new york city oh yeah yeah what am i doing i'm not a city guy i'm a i'm a good old country boy from maine but where are you gonna find a boo in this i don't know i think there's like 10 girls and what in maine total exactly so what's the plan then wasn't sophie cunningham what isn't she a farmer didn't she grow up as a farmer maybe you need to like i would really like to date i'd really like to date sophie cunningham okay yeah i would really like to you don't want that you don't why not you don't want that drama what do you mean that's a six foot one wnba enforcer enforcer banging me and fucking whatever that worst player samoan style or whatever that thing is he's not one of the worst players in the league what are you talking about cunningham why how would she be one of the worst players in the league she's all face it's her birthday today happy birthday sophie i heard that she wasn't as good as like you'd think who do what do you mean what would you think well because she's like one of the bigger names in the wnba so she's not as good as you'd assume she'd be a top player how much how good did you think she is what's that be on par with clark or one of the other ones what's that sexual position where like the woman is like standing amazon i'm not sure i'm not have you seen that where the guy is like holds his the guy's like this and she's standing in fact that's what it would be she's got she's averaging eight points again dominating me seven what's wrong with that how is that bad what's right with that she isn't she the enforcer for um the fever the main the caitlyn clark she's like the bodyguard no yeah yeah i mean she she's more uh outspoken for sure yeah she does the point her you don't think the point was iconic i think it would be iconic if she was putting up 30 a game oh you're an angel reese guy yeah you're more of an angel got it i like sophie yeah like i mean francis literally just said he's trying to date her and before he even gets a chance you try to put mustard on her jacket don't you insult my wife for what for what purpose i'm just saying it i'm just calling it how it is i mean he's trying to date her but i need to lose 10 pounds before i date soph khan but what if she likes fat guys like you well then you need to find that out before i stop eating does do nba players do they have the weight what what sports have the weight football but but not wmba what what do you mean do they have publicly listed wmba players weights anywhere oh no shot do they ever i bet you they do they have their heights right do they ever have to weigh in they must no way you don't think yeah jason tatum's weights up there bro wait no but find out cunningham's weight what the fuck oh they don't have her weight wow that's so crazy yeah that's interesting it's probably because they're all tall as fuck so they don't want people to read like oh sophie cunningham is 180 you know 190 because then people will just run with that not me of course i'm a supporter of the wmba not much of a watcher i'll be honest i don't watch but you want to be on the right side of the discourse of course i support of course it's all about the discourse for you drake may is listed i mean there's like 25 of steel when like when mckay beckton got drafted he was like 360 pounds and everybody's like his weight's out of control is that the guy on the bucks he was on the eagles or that that guy on the bucks like fucking ruben bain there's like they're doing that guy so wrong there there's lots of like everybody has like their weight examined and then what we can't examine our sister's weights i guess it's i get it i get i think it's fair why i think it's fair why because i think people would be too nasty you think so that makes it fair if they just had their weights out there maybe it would normalize women's weights i don't think it's i don't think society would handle it well these women make hundreds of millions of dollars a year i know i think they can handle a little bit of ribbing about their weight these women are corporations yeah i think it's uh this is the first i'm hearing about them not listing their weights yeah but they say to avoid cultural double standards i would think that they would be included in order to avoid cultural standards oh so i was right that is why they don't do it because people would be too nasty i mean some of them there are big there are big girls for sure are there like are there any like big big girls howdy crooks is is on the bigger side maybe we could pull her up she's incredible not pulling her up a ladder that's for sure she is pulling up for some jump shots though she's or actually she's more of a post-work girl but she's just like she's strong she looks like she just hit the transfer portal i mean she was like where iowa state she's a beast she's incredible yeah like that's like i'd rather have her on my team than sophie cunningham look at that she's bumping in the pace boxing out yeah taking space these girls cannot do shit with her no they cannot do a damn thing with her yeah do you think they'll lower the rim i was i was seeing some tweets this morning about a potential that's more fucked up than listing the way i think that's more fucked up too you're who's who's talking about lowering the rim uh who was it was it shack shack's talking about it i don't know i don't know but you know shack's kind of nasty with the woman i thought he was a reset yeah but a little bit too much of a reset you know to make it easier you know what i mean what was he saying about her shorts oh yeah he got horny he said some crazy shit yeah you can't be doing that yeah it's not right strictly platonic relationship outside of the shorts the shorts controversy what do you say you say something about like having them wear booty shorts it's like you up on that wild and out stage and then booty shorts he said something real nasty there's i mean he it's tough for shack because he in his lifetime had to learn that you can't just say anything to girls yeah yeah like his life started out where he could say anything what does it say imagine you in those tiny little shorts tiny little booty shorts you had on on the wild and out stage duncan you know how many t-shirts you gonna sell i mean that's great how many t-shirts what does that even have to do with it i think he's saying it would be good for the sport you gonna sell so many t-shirts by duncan but it's not like they're wearing fucking and one shorts in women's volleyball didn't they make them all start wearing thongs didn't they like mandate the beach only beach separate league look like you've researched this beach first clay a lot of people are hitting me up about the tennis thing too saying you wouldn't get a point yeah i was actually glad that you didn't have twitter that week because i feel like that would have just annoyed you i mean you didn't even have to see much of the discourse honestly it's fun to throw a match oh yeah and just watch tennis people get upset yeah yeah furious yeah future pickle ballers being upset at you yeah exactly it was pretty fun future pickle pickleballers is a is a shot why because the tennis people hate pickleball it's taking up all the courts they're using all the courts i saw the pickleball that there there's some recession indicators for pickleball really yeah like what that there are companies big companies spent a lot of money in like making tons of new pickleball equipment and stuff and that stuff is getting cobwebs on the shelves really yeah it was growing i think that pickleball is losing was a very quick flash in the pan really well i mean i know for for the the you know a lot of the people i know know are opting away from pickleball and towards padel is that the one where you're in like the glass box yeah and technically it's pronounced paddle but everyone says padel to differentiate from paddle tennis yeah yeah which is platform tennis yeah well i mean i don't know it's sad to hear it is it's gonna be something that's like indicative of the decade yeah within like 20 years oh yeah you know it is sad to hear because i actually didn't i played it once and i had a great time pickles fun but i do get why it's phasing out because the people that were playing pickleball if i had to guess i would assume that people that don't really exercise often or uh consistently play recreational sports often like people that play tennis well i don't think it's dead i think that if you go to any it's any 50 and over community everybody's playing it in that lifetime i feel like you have to like i think everyone played it a couple times and we're like this is really fun and then they were like but i could also just sit i'm just gonna work out yeah we're just gonna no not even that just sit at home at the lifetime fitness that i work out at they had a basketball court and then they got rid of the basketball court and they put three pickleball courts in they paved paradise and put up a park yeah they used to it used to be five in the morning it used to be five in the morning that like that that court would be packed right yeah it's gonna be it was like a famous forever i would play games there and it would take forever to get in but it was fun sitting when they got a really fun basketball court back well i think they upcharge for pickleball really it's over i mean that's a terrible investment well there's people playing in there not anymore i'm so people are shooting hoops in there now over the pickleball or the pickleball nerds working on their dribble i had this court from 6 30 to 7 i bought a basketball last week what are you gonna do with a basketball wilson great ball yeah i'm gonna take it to the park yeah we got the historia games this weekend indoor outdoor outdoor only tennis tennis and and basketball oh my god the boys are bringing their rackets wait so your boys are in town and you're gonna bring the basketball to the park yeah i mean dude the the historia park phenomenal park first off i bet not very packed a lot of courts i mean they must have 30 courts there and uh so yeah i mean i was i've been jogging and i've been uh seeing the courts and i've been seeing i'm not seeing anybody on these courts you've been jogging i have been jogging and yeah i'm taking back my life and um god damn you you led me down this path i gotta lose 30 really yeah before winter i need to lose 10 30 yeah i'm losing 30 trying to get down to a healthy 130 how the fuck are you gonna do are you gonna lose 30 should we do a weight loss competition i'm not trying to lose weight no let's do a weight loss competition let's do a weight loss competition no we'll do weigh-ins i'm only working out so that i feel better about myself when i play video games or a calorie burning competition we're gonna get garments and also you can eat i feel better about eating when i'm when i've worked out matt mccuster said he was doing that with his two of his neighbors a calorie burning competition doesn't that sound nice dude i was like hell i did a i did a tough workout this morning and then i was like i need to do more because i don't like myself and i got on the assault bike and did a like a 20 seconds on 10 seconds off for five minutes by the end of it i was choking on my own spit yeah yeah no that's hell i couldn't i couldn't breathe around what was in my mouth yeah no the assault bike is actually torture i actually felt like i was drowning in my own fluid it's it's honestly shocking how quickly you can go from being fine to like the most exhausted you've ever been yeah but wasn't that the goal it was but it was a scary thing to not be able to breathe because of what was in my mouth but you're basically a navy seal at that point what do you mean when they all lay in the water and they're coming out of the water and then they're coming out of the water and then they're coming out of the water and then they're coming out of the water and then they're coming out of the water and then you know i think that you could enlist it was more like i had a ball gag in my mouth you're a gimp that was a gimp what in the early stages of this show one time we had caleb on and uh we had a couple drinks on the podcast and then i was gonna go to the gym after and i went to the gym and i was like i had a little bit of you know i had a good little buzz on and uh i was like i'm gonna do the assault bike get that wear this off i had to lay down on the bench in the locker room like the communal bench i was sitting that's like where down on it 80 year old turkish guys put their direct asshole yeah yeah their choice untouched asshole yeah oh my god that's fucking wild well i uh i've i've been traveling um traveling has gotten to a point for me where it's it is so miserable well it's because you swore off our brothers at delta no i took flew delta twice this weekend and uh first class one way phenomenal flight okay now you're talking upgraded plane one of those first class ones where they got the white barrier around it you know what i'm talking about the shell the white shell you had a shell on the way to tampa shell you want the shell and then they came over to me and they go would you like to hear our options for our meal and i said absolutely not and then i didn't say that obviously i said sure and uh but i i said sure i said sure with like the idea of like i'm not eating this fucking poison and uh the first thing they say is mushroom ravioli who wants that who is who's getting on a plane going man this would be a better flight if i had some mushroom ravioli look man we're doing our best pizza pizza sandwich pizza fuck no what are you talking about a pizza on a plane how are they going to successfully it's a two-hour flight i don't need mushroom ravioli in the first place but if i'm gonna eat give me a slice you have to understand that they are they are very limited what they can do because they're just basically microwaving everything right just take it back to just normal food no one wants mushroom ravioli it doesn't sound that bad to me it sounds like i couldn't come up with a worse thing to eat if i tried what about the vegetarian bros it's probably the veg option it's all veg it's like they it's like they're delta and all these like the lounge operates under the bro the delta lounge operates under the idea that 99 percent of people are vegan or vegetarian that's not true it is everything is tofu and no they have those options but they also have a huge thing of chicken come on they're putting you know they're putting more effort into the veg than they are the chicken i don't look at the veg it's this nice setup because no one's touching it of tofu no one's touching it yeah whereas everyone's mauling the chicken because no one is eating that shit get rid of it that's all i'm saying we got to get rid of the get rid of they got other options because that'll be telling oh i don't need to remember i heard i heard i heard mushroom ravioli and i mean it was like tinnitus yeah i'm good i'm all set and but i will say i did i said no with the with the thought in my head that i'm just gonna wait for the snacks get some pistachios maybe some gummies maybe one of those dark chocolate bars those things are great um no they didn't bring any snacks wow you like left delta and forgot everything you don't you thought that they were gonna bring the fucking snack cart through first class where they're serving meal service they do that they bring the they usually bring the meal once everyone's done with the sweetie around with the snacks no and i know that because on my flight back they brought the snacks and i was not in class anymore no i wasn't in first class anymore i was in a middle seat wanted to blow my head off tell him that they're not bringing the the snack cart around they're not bringing a chance for you to buy uh gummy bears if you've had a shot at the mushroom ravioli my guess would be if it had been a longer flight they would have done meal service and then towards the end of the flight maybe they bring you the snack basket what about for a guy that decides he doesn't want he doesn't want the meal probably could have said do you have any snacks i don't want any of this dog food i'm not i don't like to beg i'd like to complain i'd like i'd rather complain and not get anything i would say that you're gonna be a tough person for someone someday but clearly i'm tougher because now i'm actually a very 12 years older than you and i'm completely alone come on now i'm and you're so polite to every flight attendant you do all the things socially that would be like oh this guy this guy knows how to act around people and uh like you're polite to waiters and stuff so i am i not you're not i'm just a dick you're not i want to make it clear these are all internal thoughts that i have i'm not well i wasn't even talking about you but you're you like you're like you're talking about me like because you're yeah you're saying if the shoe fits i just was saying that francis is where's my gas where's my gas when i when i'm on a plane i cannot get off the plane until i have helped someone get their bag down from the overhead you specifically choose the first row of the plane no i so that there's no one in front of you that you can i've specifically said on the show that i opted out of first class because i hate the first seat so much lies you lie you're the bag father tarnish my name as well i kid i just kid no but really traveling has become so fucking miserable and it's not even the flying the flying is like the easiest part it's the hotels i hate staying in a hotel and it's just miserable the whole time like i'm just sitting there like i feel like i'm like i feel like i'm just in like a pod just rot just waiting and rotting you need to start uh spending all of your money on a nice hotel then but i but like we stayed in that nice hotel in in shirak and like that didn't do anything for me it didn't no it didn't scratch the it didn't scratch any issues where's shirak chicago why do they call it that because more people died suppose i mean obviously this this just can't be a true statistic but they say that more people died at die in chicago have died in chicago from gun violence than died in the iraq war that's the lord but i think they're probably yeah yeah i think they're not counting uh a large majority of the people that died in iraq yeah right more black people died in iraq i think they're counting just u.s soldiers yeah not the millions of people that we killed but uh that's and that's nor nor here nor there hotels are bad i think that uh yeah i don't know i haven't stayed in a hotel for a while but i think a great hotel is great yeah and a bad hotel is really bad do you remember when i said that harry i was like harry has now decided that he can only fly first class yeah and once you break that seal you're cooked you'll never go back but that i was like i don't really mind not flying first class but i do care more about having a nice hotel and harry was like i don't give a fuck about hotels yeah yeah i don't need a nice hotel whatever you've come around no i haven't because i'll tell you this i remember the first time i sat in first class and i remember sitting down in that seat and just being like this feels right that's not the point i'm making right that's not the point i'm making but then i stayed in the nice hotel and it didn't it didn't move the needle i'm telling you the good hotel necessity is coming for you i don't think it is it is i just want to be home i think like i just like being like i want to go home to my apartment i want to be home too i just hate like even like traveling like on vacation i'm like here we go again you know i don't like that means you're depressed no no i just mean you're depressed ever been happier i also the hotel that you stayed in isn't what i think that that's not even what i'm talking about when i say a nice hotel that was an expensive hotel you you guys didn't have the same room as me i went to your room you did not go to my room you sent a picture it was humongous it was the biggest room i've ever seen well yeah wrapped around yeah that two stories and it wrapped it was an entire building massive you could see yeah you could see the green bay and uh indiana it was it was floor-to-ceiling windows that stretched like a hundred yards and then i would have to press this button that closes the shades when i would want to masturbate viciously when i was in the mood to viciously masturbate i had to wait for the shades to come to a close why why because there's office buildings right across the street and i'm like i can see them they can definitely see me sure but i think that the point of being in such a nice hotel is that the people who are in the office are the people who are in the office are the people who are in the offices have to put up with you masturbating for them i just don't i can't risk it when i'm in a room like that i come on the window yeah yeah that is a power move yeah you got to go one or the other i lock eyes with some junior manager at like hsbc and i'm it's a game of who can look away first yeah i like that's why they once he looks away that's when i come yeah i do like that and i do think that's smart but i don't think you can go in between like you can't you can't do that you can't do that you can't do that you can't do that you can't do that you can't do that with someone zooming in 12x on their phone and then it's on tiktok is that me holy shit that's me i didn't even know i went other inverted hand that's how japanese people commit suicide i didn't even know i did that that's fucking but but that's the problem with having the long shades too like by the time they fully close you're not even horny no no you don't even want to jack off yeah you gotta open them back up twisted puppet show yeah i do love those automated blinds though very satisfying if you work in one of those offices do you think that it's like the greatest joy of your work year whenever you like spot a tit or penis it's probably a good rush it's probably an incredible rush for your work year but i do wonder like do you think that the hotel windows are tinted or no i bet there's just glare i bet you it's but i could see like every office building across the street all of them so much of the glare depends on time of day as well and you seem like a kind of around the clock type guy you're doing the 24 18 12 and 6 challenge every time you hit a hotel well it's not sore anymore so i can go again who do you think sees more uh uh breasts and penis the guys that work in those office buildings at deloitte or whatever or you standard window washer i've never been in a building where they have a window washer so i don't know what like those guys schedules look like are they washing weekly or is it like a yearly type thing they're probably working every day of the of a year or you know they probably have a full work schedule but building to building it's probably once maybe twice a year i feel like you would you gotta know when those guys are coming when you see the fucking they just know they don't they just drop drop down into your office and they're like oh my god i'm gonna go to your window and you see the ropes yeah dangling from the ceiling you just say two feet getting lowered i mean i bet those guys see a lot of people i have seen like videos online of people being like i was just changing in my room in the window washer just like a peered and they can't they can't go anywhere now i gotta wash the window yeah window's not clean yeah what are they gonna do skip the window now their job's on the lawn what are they gonna not jerk off guys i watched uh the first episode of season three of tires oh yes have you watched any of it i haven't yet but it is very good so fucking funny yeah it's so much funnier than last season yeah that's what tyler was saying it's the best season it's crazy gerben is hysterical shane is shane's acting is very subtle yeah yeah he just does like a slight eyebrow raise he's gotten mastered these tiny like facial things that make me realize i overact in a big way well i think it depends on the character but i don't think you overacted in your in your scenes it was close no it's close you were playing a guy on coke fun it's a big character too yeah i i started watching and i got so much anxiety about it that i had to skip to the last episode to see how it ended what yeah i had to jump ahead read the last page of the book that's crazy that's not uh that's not how you're supposed to watch it isn't that what you do with books and movies no i mean pat mcafee's album i watched i listened to the whole thing straight through i know you i know you went to the wikipedia and looked up the synopsis of song 18 yeah yeah i bricked my phone so there was no distractions so no one would text you yeah wait till you get to 16 yeah yeah what kind of music is it country country he's a he's doing jelly roll oh it's like it's like the exact same type of music as jelly roll but way worse let him live out his fantasy bro i've been broke no joke what does he say he's like that's literally a bob dylan lyric he's like i've been broke no joke i'm talking pennies and dimes it's like bro what is this you're on espn can't be making songs like that it is funny that they did have to uh fire like a lot of people at espn to keep them there and then it's i've been broke no joke but you also have to be a master of making fun of him if you make fun of him like he he's he's it's a make fun of a bull album but at the same time you gotta fucking let him go for his dreams yeah yeah of course yeah i don't really have a problem with people making passion projects yeah that is if it is a passion project well what else would it have been he got the call you think he got paid more money for his album than what he's isn't he on like a 50 million dollar contract 60 it's like 60 i thought it was more but that's just i think that's probably just from espn yeah yeah i mean i don't know i i don't if it was a passion project good for him but i feel like it was probably for money quick buck i wonder quick turnaround um do you think this whole time has been like i've secretly i wish i was a country a country star well i think that he's the kind of guy who's been successful at so many things that he's like why not try to be successful at something else he's like doing wrestling and like he's like a great three-point shooter and was in the nfl and like fucking is has monopolized espn like he's he's like uh you guys get the call too cur the glazing right now is out of damn near out of control just listen off all of his accomplishments you're going with the uh like level one edgelord internet take of just being like he fucking and it sucks too bro the album is objectively terrible you listen yeah i listen to do what i listened on the flight to tampa you hate listen yeah i was because i was like i i when he put it out i thought it was going to be an audiobook And then I was like, there's no way it's actually an album. And then I listened and it was actually an album. What does he say? He's like, they say I'm MAGA, it don't matter. You keep saying, you keep saying, what does he say? We haven't listened to it. Ron definitely has listened. Did you? Yeah, 100%. I haven't. You 100% have listened. I downloaded it on multiple platforms and paid for it too. Exactly. I wanted to support the arts. I just wanted to support the arts. I got no problem with Pat. I like his show. No, no, this is going to get to him. I'm going to make sure this comes across his desk. And I just know that if you saw him in person, you'd be like, go. Yeah, of course. I bumped your shit. That's how I am. And I will always be that way. I'm a spineless coward. So you're telling me that on a flight to Florida, you turned down and thought negatively about the Mushroom Ravioli. You turned down and thought negatively about the Mushroom Ravioli. While hate listening to a Pat McAfee album, and yet you think travel has just gone to hell. Yes. The Mushroom Ravioli thing. You assaulted your senses. The Mushroom Ravioli. Why am I having a bad time? The Mushroom Ravioli thing was not as big of a deal as I, it was, I told you that was all internal. But I was also, I was ready for it. Like I'm so used to Delta having these weird, obscure meals. So I was prepared for Mushroom Ravioli. Yeah. You say it was all internal as opposed to what? Well, you're Pat McAfee. You were like turning to the guy to your right and being like, you got to listen to how much this sucks. Well, no, I mean, like, I'm not, I'm not looking at the flight attendant being like, are you fucking serious with Mushroom Ravioli? Yeah. Yeah. Couldn't do what? Where's the pizza? Your Chuck E. Cheese ass take. Yeah. I'm never going to say that. Where's the pizza? I didn't listen to Pat McAfee's whole album either. I skimmed. I've started to get Delta Lounge gossip. Oh, yeah. You don't got to go anymore. Is that what you mean? You don't go? You skip it? No. I mean, I've convinced myself I'm going to meet my wife in the Delta Lounge. So every woman in there looks way more attractive than they actually are. I mean, it's possible. Why do you, what are the criteria that make you think that this would be a suitable woman? Think about, think about who's in a Delta Lounge. One, she's a Delta flyer. So, I mean, I, I could. I mean, more than like political ideology, religion, choice of airline is more matters more from a compatibility standpoint to me than those other things. Yeah. Because you don't have to use one of your international upgrades on her. Like you guys get twice as many international upgrades as a couple because you both have status. You also don't want her going to Newark while you're going to LaGuardia. That's that. It's that. It's so many things. I mean, I, um, I couldn't date a United flyer. I certainly couldn't. And I certainly couldn't. I couldn't date someone who was like, I just choose the cheapest one. I use Expedia. Yeah. Go to hell. All my tickets are bark books through a third party app. Well, you must tell you guys about my price line thing. Would you like to? No, no. Continue. No, no, no. We're going to get to the price line thing. We'll get there. Um, but yeah, that, and then she's, she's a, so she's a Delta flyer. She's a. She's a, probably a hardworking individual who probably has an Amex flying a lot for work. I'm assuming a lot of the time achieving. Yeah. Driven can stick to a goal. Knows has an airport routine. So she's probably type a, she gets to the airport early, punctual, you know, travels a lot. It goes well with your schedule. Yeah. Travel a lot. Yeah. So all of that sort of self selects for me. Someone who isn't opposed to mushroom ravioli. Vegan by force. Strong armed into being a vegetarian. Yeah. I'm rooting for it. Have you, have you ever made an approach? I spoke to someone recently. Really? Yeah. What was the cold open? Do you play golf? She was wearing a Shinnecock coat, like a jacket that had a Shinnecock emblem on it. Did you examine her fingers beforehand? Yeah. Covered in calluses. Love that. Pocked, pockmarked. Yeah. She's working. Scabby. Yeah. I didn't know if she had a wedding ring or if you check for a wedding ring. Oh no, no, I don't. She didn't. So you check. And she immediately was like, yeah, I'm off actually going to play golf now. And then she was off on a, like a golf trip with some girlfriends of hers. She's a four handicap. What? Yeah. You must've been a wrecked. She's been a wrecked hearing that. Yeah, I was, I was a wrecked. It's five woods. But we talked. We talked for a little bit and then she flew and then she DMed me and was like, you know, I didn't know you were, she was like 88 of my friends follow you. Damn. She was like, you told me you like play golf for fun. And then we didn't talk anymore. I don't know. I just didn't. It wasn't going anywhere. Well, maybe you'll see her again. Maybe you'll probably see her again. She's really nice. She sounds beautiful. She was lovely. Stunning. Yeah. Stunning. She sounds like a, yeah, she sounds like, which one was Helen of Troy and which one was the one with the scars on her face or Helen of Troy has the scars on her face? Yeah. And her sister's Clytemnestra. I didn't even know that there was a sister in the picture. I don't know who any of these people are. Clytemnestra. Clav? Clavicular Nestra. Clytemnestra was the wife of Agamemnon who killed him when he got home. See, I didn't know that. For sacrificing their daughter. I didn't know that. I didn't even know the part about the sacrifice of the daughter. Yeah. Come on, bro. Don't do me like that. I wouldn't, bro. It's in the first fucking minute. I'm going to have to see The Invite instead. I'm going to have to see Inside Out 2. Isn't Inside Out 2 one of the highest grossing movies of all time? I'm pretty sure it is. Probably. It's like top 10 grossing of all time. This show is sponsored by BetterHelp. You've heard me talk about BetterHelp for a long time, but I don't know that we've ever actually talked about BetterHelp. anyways they refuse my refund i go to uh i'm it was like 300 bucks so i'm like i want to get this money back um i'm calling them it's all ai everything is ai you can't talk to a real person it's crazy because they'll even make the ai have an indian accent so you think you're talking to a real person it truly is like it should be illegal like bro you should not your entire customer service should not be legally allowed to be ai it's great who's isn't is delta of course delta is amazing it is amazing i mean on the and i think that's my problem is i think i've been spoiled with delta's customer service assuming that price line would even be in the same galaxy was like clearly a mistake so i tweeted them and then i tweet dm's them hello all caps no response okay all caps dude delta's customer service is like what mindy kaling and jim show in the office when they're like trying to sell paper to some guy oh yeah like check this out and he calls and she's like hello dunder mifflin oh yeah yeah how can i fix your delta flight today yeah it really is they're unbelievable um so i get so they i'm going i call them they say we have a wait where you're in the queue we'll call you back they don't even give you an option to wait they just hang up the phone we'll call you back where delta they'll give you the option they can say you could stay we could talk to you i'd love to stay i want to keep that i want i'd prefer to stay and wait and yeah talk to a person what kind of weights do you get on delta when you call none never more than a minute no yeah i mean either immediate yeah but you're you're a diamond medallion you're on the you're like 355 yeah you're on the verge of 360 sometimes harry will be on a phone call on the like i'm sorry i have to jump to something else i've seen you do it in the same car as him just so you could talk to someone exactly no shot no shot they have too much respect um so so then they that was at like 6 p.m they called me back at 4 30 in the morning so it's obviously i'm not gonna answer that or even know that that happens i'm asleep so then you miss the call then you call back same exact thing you're now you gotta wait the entire day for them at this point we're getting closer and closer to the end of the day like i'm gonna get charged for this flight so then i i uh comment on their instagram page and i say uh please respond to my dm or i will be getting the dot involved always i mean bro within an hour they're email me and they say your your post on social media made its way to our executive's office and we are issuing a full refund and then i replied man of the people just a true man of the people and i said i appreciate the refund but you guys got to work out your entire customer service issue i said if i didn't have a big following online i never would have got that refund i said i can't imagine how many people you guys are fucking over every day wow stealing money from them you're robin hood yeah no response but it's the thought that counts you're robin hood it is pretty insane how quickly if you bring up the dot they like they snap into a whole nother mode i've never done that before i've never done that before i've never done that i don't think it was the dot i think it's the fact that you have a big following yeah i think it was the dot because i was d i tweeted at them they didn't say anything got like 2 000 likes no reply nothing it was right when i dropped the dot within an hour you know you could make a lot of money on like doing an ad uh on your social media yeah yeah of course i don't do that right exactly like you could probably make too much of this you could make like 500 percent of what you're like you're only use your social media to try to get 400 back instead of using your social media to try to make you know it's not all about the money for me it quite literally is all about the money i didn't get the call i didn't get the call like you guys did it is about the money no it's not yes it is it's all love of the game because just because you want them to fix their customer service at price line because you thought william shatner's not doing a good enough job exactly well i wanted my money back obviously that's what it was all about that's what it was all that's what it was all for but i figured hey i've got this opportunity to speak to the highest executives at price line which it definitely was not and i said let me use that and do good you need to go to the price line offices and talk to their board like when a up-and-coming singer is trying to get a record deal yeah you need to jump on the table yeah bobby schmurda yeah you need to bobby schmurda them yeah i think that's a good idea honestly and just yell at them that this is not how it's supposed to be right i just think that all those sites probably had a boom and then it's like okay there's not that many of them anymore what do you mean they're still out there but there's i mean i don't know expedia kayak i know that they exist but i'm saying that it's probably dwindled the demand for those i would imagine i mean their customer service is so bad and they're like they literally just scam the fuck out of you it's but it is like you can get way cheaper flights on those websites way cheaper yeah what do you think it's also a great way to see all of the options i'll use it a lot to see all of the options and then i'll go to that airline's website and book the flight and by the time by the time you go back to price line they know you've already visited the site twice so they're going to jack your prices up oh that's why i'm never giving them a dollar they'll never see a dollar from me you're a kayak man now kayak for life kayak.com booking.com booking.yeah oh man all right all right solid episode great to see you great to see you brothers yeah be well see you guys on thursday i'll see you guys tomorrow all righty goodbye
