In this episode of *Son of a Boy Dad*, the hosts welcome back Francis after his absence, clearing up a past misunderstanding about his dad and "Bohemian Grove." Francis shares stories from his recent travels, including attending a Call of Duty tournament and a Hamptons birthday party with a prize-based blackjack game. He then describes seeing *The Odyssey* in IMAX alone, praising the visuals but complaining about the overwhelming volume, which forced him to cover his ears for most of the film. A standout moment is his confession of hitting "rock bottom" by eating a rotisserie chicken shirtless in his car in a Whole Foods parking lot, filmed on his phone but deemed too dark to post. The conversation shifts to Bo’s upcoming New York City date, with Francis offering restaurant tips, and the hosts discuss their desire for summer to end and their fitness goals. Francis reveals he wants to lose weight and jokes about dating WNBA player Sophie Cunningham, sparking debate about her skills. Travel frustrations dominate later segments, with Francis criticizing Delta’s odd meal options and recounting a Priceline nightmare where canceled flights led to unhelpful AI customer service, resolved only after threatening to involve the DOT on social media. The episode ends with lighthearted banter about pickleball’s decline, Pat McAfee’s album, and the allure of the Delta Lounge for meeting like-minded travelers.

And I gotta tell you, nothing goes better with one of those sort of twilight rounds of golf for a nice BBQ or pool day or at the beach than a ice cold high noon. - You can get them at the baseball game too now. I don't know if people are mentioning this. I have a baseball game circled and I'm also counting that as a date with high noon. It's gonna be real vodka. I'm a vodka guy. You could also go with the tequila. And it's gonna have no alternate. And you will be able to taste that difference every single time you will taste the difference. Real Vodka, Real Juice, low calorie count, incredible flavors. Drinkability out the wazoo, I'm quite often. - You're not wrong. I mean, it's something about how it's not that sugary malt based drinks that, you know, just make you feel awful. It's light crisp and refreshing and it drinks so much better than those. We love high noon. - Yeah. - So excited to have them as a partner on the show, but just I'm drinking them regardless. - Absolutely. All of this is huge for us because my favorite flavor, which is peach, is now available in single flavor eight packs. So we're not gonna have to fight you and me. What's your favorite flavor? - I'm a pineapple man. They already have the eight pack of pineapple right here. But, you know, I'm pretty malleable. - Good. Well, even if, I mean, it sounds like we wouldn't have a problem, you and I, but if we did like the same flavor, we wouldn't have to fight for the last peach or pineapple in the pack. Make sure to visit highnoonspirates.com to find a high noon near you. (soft music) (laughing) All righty, welcome back to the Son of a Boydab podcast. Today, it is August 17th. It is 1.30 p.m., and we are here live from HQ3. Welcome back. - Welcome back Francis. - Rowan looks like you have regained full functionality in your knee. - I'm gonna be in-- - When are we gonna lose the brace? 'Cause now it seems a little performative. - I'm gonna be in the rockettes before you know it. - Yeah. - Should I just take it off now? - No, no, no. 'Cause I gotta feel it if you take it off. It's all like flaky and shit under there. - Yeah, it's like a withered, like grandmother willow up branch. - You sleep with it on? - No, no, and mop it off. - Just having the brace in no boxers as naked in a brace. (laughing) - Sleep. - It would be a good look. Francis, welcome back. Brother, we missed you like crazy last week. - Yeah, I missed you guys for sure. I saw some of the war mode episode and I wanna just kind of clarify this whole bohemian growth situation. First of all, you both completely misrepresented me to our friends. (laughing) You're like, Francis's dad goes all the time. I said my dad went once and recently. Secondly, my take was I don't think they're killing and eating children. I think it's just gay. (laughing) Exactly what war mode said. - I know, right. - And so you guys were like, but Francis is a, (laughing) - We were hoping he was gonna be something more. They really said exactly what you said. - Yes. - Yeah. - Yes. - I saw it. - We wanted to turn into like you're, they discover that you're like a CIA operative or that you had your fingerprints on some kind of assassination or like the Bay of Pigs or some shit. - The sad part of this is that I wanted to be that. (laughing) And I didn't, I wasn't good enough. I failed at that. So now I'm here talking to you guys about bullshit all the time and yet everyone still accuses me of being some like deep state you know plan. I wasn't good enough. You gotta actually know your shit to do that. - There's no way a deep state guy's gonna come on to the podcast and be like, and I'm in it. I'm in the deep state. - No. - And I'm part of it. This would be exactly what they would say. This would be the playbook. - Yes, it would be what they would say. However, they wouldn't be here. - What do they say? Like I saw a clip of Shane talking about it on Rogan. What is it? Like it's like a CIA disinformation. It's like CIA plants that are supposed to come in and be like counterintelligence. Like, no, like people that are like go in there in the CIA, but then they just like tell a bunch of lies. - Disinformation artists, artists of the skies, pistachio just crazy. - So you could be that. - I'm the most honest, like I shared way too much. - Yeah, but it's like good. It's just a good cover story. It's just like a really strong cover story. - It's just a perfectly crafted cover story. - Do travel a lot. - We might have to get fucking. - I gotta go on the road. - We might have to get Danny to follow you around for a week. - Who's Danny Conrad? - Danny Conrad, till do like a personal investigation in the shadows. He's gonna catch you under the Brooklyn Bridge meeting with some guys in Trench Co. The Falcon Flies at midnight. (laughing) - Does Danny Conrad? What does he do? - He does like little like like documentary style of following people around. Like he's doing it with Dante. Dante the Doc. - Which is great. But he'll follow you from a distance. - Fair enough. - I really find out if you have like a layer that opens up underneath the Manhattan Bridge where you drive out an Aston Martin getting the highest speed chases and shit. - I'm imagining you like going down into the subway station with Ronan. And then like you get off and then you like get back on. (laughing) Just hand him a bag without saying anything. We walk past each other. - Pull the bag. Pull the bag. (laughing) - That'll be great. - It'll be perfect. - It's such a good cover story. - It would. - Man. - How was it where? So I mean without telling us any of the things you can't tell us. How was your trip? - It was great. It's the coolest tournament in the world. I am very excited for people to see it. - I can't talk about it. I really just don't wanna talk about it at all. - Problems on the West. - I don't trust myself to like not indicate. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - So, but it's people doing a lot of-- - Thank you. We even trimmed this down a little bit honestly. - Yeah. - Well, you said it's the coolest tournament in the world and Sass is always doing call of duty tournaments. - So, yeah, yeah, I know you took that personally. (laughing) - You're talking about the EWCCS-2 tournament. (laughing) - Yeah, that sounded like a blast. - It was great. It was awesome. The people there, I'm excited. We'll talk at length about it when it comes out. But, do the last night. - So, I got home on Friday and I crashed. And then I went to my buddies had a, like his wife set up like a surprise birthday party for him in the Hamptons. And I went out there on Saturday. I'm not a Hamptons guy at all, just know me. - Your Montalk. - No, that's Hamptons to me. - Yeah. - You're north and north. - This point tries to draw any distinction between Montalk and the Hamptons is fucking-- - I always just thought Montalk was way further. - It is way further. But, like, you would have argued back in the day that like Montalk is this charming fishing village that's down to earth, whereas the Hamptons are like the Glitzy Glamour old money. - Yeah. - Not a chance anymore. Montalk is just as wealthy as the Hamptons. But, and like, clubby and seamy. - Yeah, yeah. - But, you know, you know me, I'm not a Hamptons guy, I'm a, I'm upstate. - You're upstate. - Right, you know the ins and outs are perfectly, but you're not a Hamptons guy. - You're just one or the other. And I, I like to strap on a flannel and cut down trees and have cozy fires. - Yeah, get the hands dirty. - Yeah. - Tap a tree and catch like some maple syrup into an envelope. - I want my hands and fingers. I want them stuck together. I want webbed fingers in my day. - Yeah, sap, covered in sap. - Yeah, little sap, little sap squash. But, I went out there and then spent the night and we had a great time. She set up this really like hired a blackjack dealer where we played for prizes, which was super cool and the prizes were awesome. - Oh, that's fine. So it's like no stakes, like low stakes, I guess. - This is not money. - Like you can't lose. - Correct. - That's fine. - I've honestly, for a while, I've been searching for that. - This is a money free casino. (laughs) I think it would be important.
Last go just play roulette for fucking six hours. Yeah, but like when you do I've done that it like company retreats Sometimes they'll have that and it's the most boring thing in the world. I can see it being fun for like an hour. You need something But a prize a prize is great prizes. Great. Yeah, but when usually when you go to those box three like they're like they're like all right Here's your 50,000 and chips. Yeah, and you're like I wish I if I was at a real casino and I'm like all right She money all in on the first hand. Oh, no, it landed on black. Can I have another 50,000? All right Here you go Yeah, I'm like all right. I do love the prize system though. The prize system was awesome You're looking for a Dave and busters at Dave and busters for but with like better games Because if you go to a Dave and busters now the games are really bad and not fun I want a real I'm really nice box of cigars Ooh, and that's a great prize. It was a great part. It was the fourth place prize. What was first dinner at per se for two Wow per se is the top restaurant course. How many stars free Although they might have just gotten demoted to two for the first time It's Thomas Keller's restaurant here in New York. It's fancy. It's expensive as hell. It's not bib gourmante. It's actual stars So do you get that is the whole meal paid for or is it just a reservation? No, the whole meal is what good Whatever it's hard to get a reservation. I don't think it's that hard Yeah, but is it and is it harder than a box of cigars? Like that can't be the first paid place prize just the just the reservation Think of this dinner at per se is like 1200 bucks for two people really yeah Then all the brides second prize was a like really nice bottle of old weller whiskey And then third place. I think was like some really sick Tom Hock and Wagyu steaks And then fourth was The cigars I think cigars might be the top For me it was what I wanted to stay in cigars Anyway, how many cigars are we talking here six? We can smoke him Yeah, we can do him here. I mean I would six of us in this room right now, but you better finish him Oh yeah, I smoked a cigar this weekend. You better smoke it all the way down to the tip. Yeah, I smoked a cigar with old levy old levy boy Left her of course I beat him. I smoked him in it and he was like it's not a race you're supposed to enjoy and I said it's always a race He's right He's not it's always a race so he's Really yeah, I know if it's not I think it's reverse race It's like it's not a race, but it is a race like if I'm if I'm beating him by I would say ten drags That goes to show that's like that shows your character who you are as a man I think it's like a eternal flame type of situation. It's the longer you can make it last. No, that's when you go for a second cigar correct Exactly the cigars is always too greedy and then you can try to lap someone exact and then if you lap them you get the rest Take it from I forgot that rule Anyway, okay, so I'm coming home this Yesterday I stayed out there Saturday night Hung out on Sunday for a bit during the day And then I'm driving home on Sunday and I stopped to go see the Odyssey by myself. Oh no spoilers. I'm seeing you on Thursday Are you not familiar with the Odyssey? Because it's pretty close to what happens. Yeah, yeah, of course in the book. We were forced to read. I was not forced to read it Okay But what did you see at 40 x 70 millimeter? What are we talking? I saw iMacs really yeah Just iMacs not not in 40 millimeter or 70 millimeter And I'll tell you what it was so the movie was so loud in the iMacs theater that I spent no less than 90% of the movie covering my hair. Wait, where were you sitting in the theater? Were you right by the the speaker? I was in the Handy cap assistance seat. Wait, so is that And you're right next to the fucking I must have been it was so loud that I I was like it was distracting It hurt your shoulder. It hurt your shoulder. It's so loud. You guys both saw it I didn't see it with him But I saw it in the iMacs in the handicap row because literally there was only like two seats left I got the handicap for my wife and I was in a wheelchair for mine I pulled up in a wheelchair bed with question and you think about that Where'd you get a wheelchair? I had the rent to wheelchair. I rented a wheelchair. I rented a wheelchair for a day You rented from the theater. No, I rented it from a wheelchair company. How much did those run you? What's it 150 bucks? What the hell it's an expensive movie and it's and we we had the return at the next day And it sat in the lobby of my building for three days while the wheelchair company waited to pick it up I could have been whipping around town in a wheelchair. You could have seen a lot of movies I could have been I could have got I could have memorized the Odyssey by now. Right It was so loud though. It was unbelievably loud and uncomfortable. My shoulders hurt from having my hands above my ears the whole time It hurt your shoulders. It wasn't good, but the movie was good. I lie I did really like the movie I'm trying to get a little autistic kid Yeah, yeah, plug in your ears. I'm rocking back and forth. I don't like loud noises He didn't nerd rope like spaghetti like a plate of spaghetti Swerp and down a single nerd rope. It's also kind of unfair that they subject the handicapped people to being blasted with the loudest noise Where should we put the speakers? Oh, well, they're already not walking around Let's just make them deaf too By the way, a person did come in in a wheelchair next to me But fortunately the person there their sort of companion handler was to the right of them. Whereas I was to the left very nice That's lucky. It was lucky. Was it packed? This person was also on a respirator So whenever the movie was quiet enough, which wasn't much. I had to listen to the dialogue over Yeah, I mean look you know the whole experience was a feast of sounds that I did not find palatable But did you like the movie? I liked the movie visually Stunning what about what about the story and all that you should have put wax in your ears honestly Like I'm getting to the point where I'm like it's been out for a while I feel like the hype is kind of died down a bit. I'm wondering if I just save it for home You should see it in a theater Is it is it as good as people were making it out to be in the beginning or is it a little bit slow? No, I think it's new. I don't think I didn't find it slow at all But if you had to critique it If I had to critique it it's that Travis Scott is on it Almost I would say is he Oh, he does yeah, I guess now I understand who he was The black character Um you played Helen of Troy. Yeah An interesting casting choice No, but um if I had to critique it I would say that you know with other stories that Christopher Nolan has taken on He's had so much license to sort of do his cool shit where he like Weaves in and out of timelines and stuff like that The Odyssey is so known as a story that he I felt like he was Handcuffed to a degree To how well known this story was yeah, he wasn't letting loose He couldn't like if you think about the way that he chose to do Oppenheimer So good told through these like trials backwards And then whatever. I mean that was so cool. That's top five for me Easy movie ever. Yeah, I like better than Oppenheimer Really? Yeah, you liked the Odyssey better. Yeah, you're big on the Odyssey. I thought it was really good But I agree that it wasn't like Oppenheimer I thought that that was a little bit um It just didn't have the excitement that I was looking for Whoa, I mean you know if you know what happens in the Odyssey you know what happens in Oppenheimer like you that is shocking to hear But you didn't like the dark night either. I love the dark night. Dark night's incredible But like the dark night unfolds in front of you Oppenheimer was I mean I don't think I've enjoyed a movie that much in a decade Yeah, but you were you were still drinking at the time and you were just not of Oppenheimer You were you're on the kujish already you're you're so fried At the time you're on the kujish so heavy I think that I agree that in both of them you're kind of locked into the story. Yeah, and if Quentin Tarantino had directed De Odyssey Odysseus would have killed Hitler at the end You know, you know, they've been able to have But it was a little bit like in Halfway would have been trance Trance Hey, so what are you what what what is like a good movie for you Like what's like a great like what's like your favorite movie? I just said I liked it better than the movie. I didn't say Oppenheimer's a bad movie Yeah, but you're kind of like like I'm waiting for one of you guys to be like the Odyssey was unbelievable And neither I thought it was unbelievable. Yeah, I thought it was unbelievable Are you just saying that because I just said I just said I was waiting for someone to say that there's an Mexican the wheelchair movie who said Who's in the wheelchair road that next to me who said afterwards best movie since dark night is what he said He must have not seen Oppenheimer Yeah No, I thought it was I thought it was barbie I thought it was really good. Yeah, really really good. I really did I think
- I just knew the story, I think this story was so well. It wrote papers on the Odyssey. - Yeah, yeah. - So I knew it's so well. - It's like watching Harry Potter. - I was not surprised by anything, so therefore I just enjoyed the visuals and-- - You don't know the story. - I don't know any. - It's gonna knock your fucking socks off. I feel like not knowing the story would make it incredible. - So you both felt that way. - That's like watching Oppenheimer and being like, did civilization end with the nuclear bomb? Do they complete it to the Nazis get it first? By the way, I did not know. You say we knew the story of Oppenheimer. I didn't know the story of Oppenheimer. - No, I didn't say that around said that. - I said that. I mean, we know that the phone lines are working. - That's true, but we don't know what Oppenheimer. I didn't know much anything about Oppenheimer. - No. God, I might have to rewatch that again. - Just watch the Odyssey first. To just go to the Odyssey, then it will now, since you're such like a little dick-arguer lord, that you're just gonna fuck in with. You're gonna stick to this and paint no, no, no. - Oppenheimer, no matter what. - No, I never do that. - Did it never do that? - The 40X experience of the Odyssey could have like the sirens coming through your seat and sucking you off, and you still would be like, Oppenheimer, clear? - No, no, no, I would never do that. - I would never do that. - I'll go in, I'm gonna go in with the clean slate. - You have a close, boss. - No, no, no, no. - You need to go see it in theaters so that you prove that you're not a little dick-arguer. - Yeah, yeah, no, I'm going, I said I'm seeing it on Thursday. - When did you say that? - 10 minutes ago. I said, I said, no spoilers. I'm seeing it on Thursday and then you said, "What did you not know the story of the Odyssey?" Which I then said, "Of course, I was lying. I don't know the story of the Odyssey at all." - Right, right, right. - No spoilers, please. - Okay, so anyway, really quick. So I finished the Odyssey. I went alone, power move. Then I get back in my car. Now it's 7 p.m. I'm still an hour and a half from this, from home in the middle of Long Island. I went near Jericho or some Bay Shore. - I love that, breaking up the ride like that. - It was a good move. - Yeah, smart. - Then I was hungry 'cause I didn't eat anything in the theater. - You had nothing? - I didn't because the line to get to the concession stand was 50 people long. - That was crazy. And I was like, I arrived five minutes into the previews and I was like, "I'll miss the start of the movie." If I go to get shit. So I watched the whole movie, no water, no candy, no soda, no popcorn. Plugging my ears. - A long, long movie. - Like I was a technician, checking to make sure things worked. - That's like when people raw dog aflame, yeah. - Yeah, like I was an air marshal inside the theater to promise that no one would come in and shoot people. - You're just going to watch in the exits. - Yeah. I get back in my car. I realize I'm hungry. So I go to Whole Foods in Jericho. And now it's like eight o'clock at night, on a Sunday night driving home from the Hamptons. And I go in and I get a rotisserie check-in and some salad from the salad bar. I thought, well, there's the place that you can eat inside Whole Foods. But that's the saddest place on Earth. - Right, yeah, it's so very sad. - That is the loneliest, saddest place on Earth. - The one at Wegmans is actually just a notch. - It's better because they have communal tables and stuff. The Whole Foods one, it's just like, "Oh, you don't have anyone to bring this home to?" - Yeah, you don't. - You don't want to even get home with your groceries. You want to just be indoors so you'll eat here. Okay, fine, here you go. And I was like, I'm not going to do that. And the reason I'm not going to do that is because I'm eating a rotisserie check-in which I like to eat with my hands. Yeah, and even the fucking lonely tables at the Whole Foods eatery are too classy of a place for me to eat my rotisserie check-in with my hands. So I brought it into my car and I sat in the parking lot of a grocery store. I took my shirt off, it's crazy. - Because I was wearing a white t-shirt and I didn't want to get chicken juice all over it. - It's the end of the night though. - Still, still. - I like my t-shirts clean, smart, smart. And I was sitting there eating a rotisserie check-in with my hands in my car and I thought, this is rock bottom, this is rock bottom. I found it and I thought about I even pulled out my phone to film because when that's how things work with me is that I realize that something I'm doing is absurd and then I'm like, I should share this. I don't contrive a lot of the time, but I filmed and I sort of admitted, I was like, this is what divorce looks like, you know? Like, here I am sitting in this at 8 p.m. on a Sunday night eating rotisserie check-in shirtless with, I can't turn the lights of my car on 'cause I don't want people to see inside what I'm doing. - In the dark. - So I'm just grabbing blindly a chunks of chicken off the car. - Why do you eat the entire chicken with your hand? Like, I get the drumsticks. - How do you eat a rotisserie check-in out of a bag with utensils? - How? - No, he's saying you gotta eat it like corn on the cob and just bring the carcass to your mouth. - It's dripping, it's very wet. - It's so wet, but that juice, but that juice is so good. - It is, in fact, I tipped the bag and drank it. - Oh, no. - And let's have known. - Listen to this. - That's rock bottom. - The whole thing was rock bottom. - Yeah, I wasn't rock bottom until you tipped the bag. - I was tipping the bag. If I'd had a straw, I would have done it. Bro, at one point, when I was checking out the lines, the lines with people were too long. So I went to self-check out 'cause I only had like four items. And I was trying to scan the bag of chicken. And the barcode was on the bottom. So I was tilting it and all the juice spilled out of the bag all over the fucking scanner. And I called the guy over for help. And I was like, look, man, I'm so sorry. But I don't know why. And he's like, just take the gun and scan it. - Oh, yeah. - It's like why I didn't even know that was an option. - Yeah, yeah, that's what the guns for. - What is it for? - Anyway, so I have the footage on my phone, but I was like, I can't even post this. - It's so dark, dude. - Well, that's the best kind of. - It's probably so. - It's so dark that I don't think people would even believe me. - Yeah, yeah. - But it's like no one said in the dark night. It's always darkest before the dawn. - Exactly. - That means that the sun's about to come up on you. - I'm really in a lost place right now. (laughing) - Why'd you pull over to your car drive? - Couldn't you just set it to auto drive and you just sit in your car? (laughing) - I forgot about that. And I wish I had done it that way. 'Cause I would have killed, I would have been progressing home. - Yeah. - Did you trust that, though? - Mm-hmm. - I feel like you think it would take you, it would do a good job of getting you where you want to go. 'Cause I know those things kind of have a mind of their own. - The one I've never had a bad experience with it. - Do you have napkins? - I did have napkins. (laughing) - Yeah. - I do think it's still not rock bottom, though, because it was a pretty healthy meal. - Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I will always be that way. - Even at rock bottom. - Dude, if I start eating like. - See, that's rock bottom. Yeah, you're not there. - You're not low-main with my hands? - You're not there. - Then I'll really have a problem. - A fistful of low-main. - This is my rock bottom. It's healthy food with my hands in the dark, in my car, in a parking lot on a Sunday night. - No. - You think it's rock bottom? - Rock bottom is 20-piece chicken McNugget, two burgers, two McChicken's. - I won't get there. That won't happen to me. - I hope. - I don't think I can get there. I'll kill myself. (laughing) I will. I definitely will. If I'm like, man, it's chicken nugget time. It'll be like, all right, I'm walking to the top of the Brooklyn. - Replacing the chicken nugget. Replacing the fries with nuggets. - Yeah, this is probably out of here. - Protein. - Anyway, so that was my evening, and it was very eye-opening, not really sure what I'm doing with my life right now, but that's okay. - My people in my life that are asking me about you and your life, my people are like his friends, it's okay. - Oh, they are? - Yeah. - Are they really? - Yeah. - They're concerned? I thought I didn't think people, I didn't know that I was indicating that. - You said a couple episodes ago, you were just like, it's so bad for me. (laughing) - Did I? - Yes. I don't know what it was, but I got a lot of DMs too. And I got like, Bo was asking me. He was like, "What's going on with Francis?" And I was like, I don't know. - Oh, well, I mean, I apologize. I don't know what you don't have to apologize. - Bo asks a lot of annoying questions. - He texted me. - He asked, "It pisses me off. Every time I talk to him now," he's like, "You guys record today?" Like, "Yup, what'd you guys talk about?" I don't fucking know, dude. Listen when it comes out. - Bo said, "Hey, what restaurants would you recommend for a date in the West Village or Soho area? Preferably Italian?" And I said, "Easote." And he said, "Love it. Is it typical for everything to be booked up a week out?" (laughing) - I said, "Go at 5.30, put your name in. You'll be fine." Look at him. So he's coming to New York City for a big date. - Yeah, yeah, Thursday. That's when I'm going to the movies. - With him? - No, with Matt. - No, no. - Because Bo's going on a date. and does his chin and again.
Where do you find this girl in Birmingham? I think oh, he's bringing her he's importing. No, no she's out here He's bringing sand to the beach. I don't know much about it So I can't really speak on it But I believe that she's out here for work or an internship or something like that I don't know but she's a Birmingham coming back to Birmingham after yeah, and he thought she's there for business All make a trip of it take her on a nice day in the West Village something like that. Yeah Good for him But neither of them are from here. So he really can't go wrong He doesn't know what he's doing. I think I can guide him around Maybe I should go on the day with them. He was asking me for luminaires tickets. I was like I don't you think I know the luminaires He's like you got to have like you can probably guys free tickets to the luminaires. Oh, what would make you think that? Well, I was like what would make you think that I could get free tickets to the luminaires You got to do you got to go into full CIA Francis mode and just be like lowering the menu halfway across the restaurant Yeah, yeah It's not a bad idea also getting to East Saudi you use your restaurant and then you get your you get the luminaires tickets Yeah, so Peters and and bow are coming in. Yeah Nate lives here. Now he moved here from where from Massachusetts Cool, not man. He's never been there. No, he was there. But he then he was back in mass. I still don't know where to live Historia. What are you bring you brought everyone to you and they're all moving here? No, it only me only Nate moved here for now for now But I'm trying to get everyone here. I love that. I think bow will come eventually, but he can't right now because Flying stuff. Oh, yeah, and I'm gonna try to get Matt to just move out here. Where's Matt living tell your ride? Yeah, that's too far. Yeah, we need Peters here when it's so crazy you named your video game team off of where your best friend lived Well, Bush had been around for a while what that was with your other best friend. No, no, Bush was we all created Bush on black ops 3 Yeah, your other best friend I think was 2016 and it was because I think everyone's Plantags were Trump and we made ours bush as a joke. Interesting. Yeah, but so your logo really should be W of course They can't have it that they lose way too much. Yeah, yeah, we're also not it's not politically. It's not politically charged anymore It also wasn't that it was yeah, but he made a joke about W's and else. It was funny though I read down low to black ops 3 on my PlayStation and I opened it up and I had all my emblem saved and they were they all said bush in them I was like holy shit goes back that far. You guys have met Jack It's like it's like they come from their jobs and they got like their Work shit on I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I feel like a piece of shit. Yeah, meet at the Smith Meet at the Smith A piece of a fire came off and it landed on it You mean the the end of a joint? No, I would tell you if that's what it was it was not bad It was what it looks bigger than a joint that looks like part of the cigar. He was smoking with love. No I definitely wasn't wearing this in Tampa in August Man, I mean, it's cool. It's cool how that happened. It's a bummer Yeah, it looks like it looks like ass now. Yeah, it's a real bomber It was actually it was I was at home for my sisters Like we were like it was like a wedding celebration and she's married my older sister. Yeah, we've talked about this a thousand times and then And then we were sitting at a fire outside and a I know a little piece landed right here Just went around I mean this thing must be like really flammable For a little tiny piece of a an ember an ember to land and just what you got to do is you I think This would be up your alley if you like crocheted like a little like pop of color behind it or something like that Just like put a little piece of red maybe a little red a little orange or something behind it Potential there gave a little bit of pop of color. Yeah, you could probably do that tonight You could get someone to put a patch over that or something that would make it look even cooler and more Americana Lived in yeah, maybe I'll put like the those military patches that we got maybe I'll put that over it Yeah The devil made me do it Just take it to any one of those you know dry cleaning spots They always have someone in there some seamstress or something like fix that up for you. You'd be surprised they're they're artists. Yeah, I'll do that Now you won't You'll just complain about it. I think I'm playing about it at all. I said it's a bomber You like telling people that at one point recently you were around a campfire Yes, who does he's talking about a wedding that happened three years ago? Last year last summer last summer might as well be three years ago. No, not even a year ago Do they have kids? Nope. Oh My cousin just had a kid though. Oh, shout it to my cousin. Shout out Lizzy and Tim. Lizzy and Tim and what's their kids name Maverick? I'll never say That's between me and them and and their child That's Baker Mayfield's kids name Maverick Mayfield. That's a great name. Isn't that great? It's a great name Yeah, man your dad's Baker Mayfield That kid's coming out of the womb throwing 70 yards off of me. Yeah Dots. That's crazy. Dip in dots. How was uh, where are you Orlando Tampa? I was in Tampa or I guess Saint Petersburg Yeah, um for the joke world comedy festival. Oh shit. No, it was fun. It was a good time. How's the comedy jam? What'd you sing? I did not participate in the comedy jam. Not really my style crazy. Not really my uh that used to be you Oh, yeah, if I was hammered. I definitely would have done it. What's the joke world? Joke world Is that what you called it the festival? Yeah, you know joke world the YouTube channel I don't know if I do you do and they do it's the guy that does like he does like pretty much like a version of like the rundown But for comedy for like the week and then he makes a bunch of like best stuff compilations and stuff He does the bracket. I actually told gas to hire him at barstool when he had like 10,000 subscribers on YouTube And they said he'd gas didn't want to and then he's doing his own festival now I'm a genius How many how many followers does he have there's a lot of people at the festival. Yeah, there was It was a good time A lot of people on the festival. It was like a deep roster. How did he pay all them? Um, I don't know I'm so ready for summer to be over I am too. I'm I need for pull and I'm I'm done with short sleeves. This was my coming out party of I'm not participating in the heat anymore. Mm-hmm. It's over for me Well, it's cool today. It's damn near rainy today I thought a lot of people would be trying to hold on to summer. No way Last six summer. I need some I need darkness. Why I need cold and I need football. I need darkness cold and and you know Someone Oh, you need cuffing season to come back. Yeah, but you need to be under a blanket making soup for someone. I'm not ready I'm not nobody's nobody's ready for for this I need to get some shit together before I can cuff So you're not ready. Can I be honest with you? I need to lose ten pounds. Whoa. I've never said this before It's like Ariana Grande shit. No No General Ortega. I'm not saying I I need to lose ten pounds. I weighed myself today and it was a big number bro
So what can't lose 10 where where's the 10 pounds coming from? My my myself, but where? I don't know. Probably there's no fat on your body. I'm not saying, well, yeah, there is. Of course, there is. It could always be fine. I look fine. But I'm I'm heavy. And I think it's hurting my joints. You're going to lean down for winter. That's not how it works. I think I'm getting more joint pain as a result of how heavy I am doing the workouts. Are you not smoking enough? You might need to start smoking more. I need to lay off the cush. Really? Probably. The joints are back for your joints. Yeah, maybe. Damn. I need to lay off sugar. Sugar's been a demon in my life. Yeah, I'm back on it. I think I think you need to lay off upstate for a while. Yeah, I'm staying away from that. I think you have to stay away from upstate and here's why I think that as you enter into your cuffing season, like finding a boo, you're going to need to spend a little bit of time in neighborhoods in New York to establish a pattern. And then wait, wait, and then you're two months in and you're like, have I told you about my place of state? And then you knock her socks off. And then you hibernate up there. Yeah, that's two months off. That all sounds well and good, but they say that the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and expecting different results. I think we're at a point now where we need to really consider that I should not be looking for a boo, as you say, uh, in New York City. Oh, yeah. Yeah. What am I doing? I'm not a city guy. I'm like, I'm a good old country boy from Maine. But where are you going to find a boo in the city? I don't know. I think there's like 10 girls in Maine total. Exactly. So what's the plan then? Wasn't Sophie Cunningham? Wasn't she a farmer? Didn't she grow up as a farmer? Maybe you need to like, I would really like to date Sophie Cunningham. I'd really like to date Sophie Cunningham. Okay. Yeah, I would really like to. You don't want that. You don't want that drama. What do you mean? That's a year. Six foot one WNBA enforcer and forcer, banging me and fucking whatever that worse player, some Owen style or whatever. No, she's not one of the worst players in the league. What are you talking about Cunningham? How would she be one of the worst players in the league? She's all face. It's her birthday today. Happy birthday, Sophie. I heard that she wasn't as good as like you think. Who do I, what do you mean? What would you think? Well, because she's like one of the bigger names in the WNBA. So she's not as good as you'd assume. She'd be a top player. How much, how good did you think she is? What's that beyond par with Clark or one of the other ones? What's that sex to a little position where like the woman is like standing Amazon position? I'm not sure. Have you seen that? Where the guys like hold the guys like this and she's standing back. That's what it would be. She's got just averaging eight points again. 8.7. What's wrong with that? How's that bad? What's right with that? She isn't she the enforcer for the fever. The main the Caitlin Clark. She's like the bodyguard. No. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, she's more outspoken for sure. Yeah, she does the point her. You don't think the point was iconic? I think it would be iconic if she was putting up 30 again. Oh, you're an angelry sky. Yeah. You're more than angelry. I got it. I like Sophie. Yeah. I mean, Frances literally just said he's trying to date her. And before he even gets a chance, you try to put mustard on her jacket. Don't insult my word for what for what purpose? I'm just saying it. I'm just calling it how it is. I mean, he's trying to date her. But I need to lose 10 pounds before I date. So if con. But what if she likes fat guys like you? Well, then you need to find that out before I stop eating. Does NBA players do they have the weight? What what sports have the weight football, but but not WMBA? What do you mean? Do they have publicly listed WMBA players' weights anywhere? Oh, no shop. Do they have their heights? Right. Do they ever have to weigh in? Why would they? They must. No way. You don't think? Yeah, they shouldn't tell you there's weights up there, bro. Wait, no, but find out. The Cunningham's weight. What the fuck? Oh, they don't have her weight. That's so crazy. Yeah, that's interesting. It's probably because they're all tall as fuck so they don't want people to read like, oh, Sophie Cunningham's 180, you know, 190. Because then people will just run with that. Not me, of course, I'm a supporter of the WMBA. Not much of a watcher. I'll be honest. I don't watch. But you want to be on the right side of the discourse. Of course, I support. Of course, you told about the discourse for you. Drake May is listed. I mean, there's like two to five of steel. Like when McCoy Bechton got drafted, he was like 360 pounds and everybody's like, his weight's out of control. Is that the guy on the bucks? He was on the Eagles or that knock on the bucks. Vita. Bro, like fucking Ruben Bane. There's like, they're doing that work. So wrong. There's lots of like everybody has like their weight examined. And then what we can't examine our sister's weights. I guess it's, I get it. I get it. I think it's fair. Why? I think it's fair. Why? Because I think people would be too nasty. You think so? That makes it fair. If they just had their weights out there, maybe it would normalize women's weights. I don't think it's, I don't think society would handle it well. These women make hundreds of millions of dollars a year. I know. I think they can handle a little bit of ribbing about their weight. These women are corporations. Yeah, I think it's, this is the first I'm hearing about them not listening their weights. Yeah, but they say to avoid cultural double standards. I would think that they would be included in order to avoid cultural double standards. Oh, so I was right. That is why they don't do it. Because people would be too nasty. I mean, some of them, there are big, there are big girls for sure. Are there like, are there any like big, big girls? Howdy Crooks is on the bigger side. Maybe we could pull her up. How do you look? She's incredible. Not pulling her up. A ladder. That's for sure. She is pulling up for some jump shots though. She's, or actually she's more of a postwork girl, but she's just like, she's strong. She looks like she just hit the transfer portal. I mean, she was at it where I was state. She's a beast. She's incredible. Yeah. Like, that's like, I'd rather have her on my team than Sophie Cunningham. Look at that. She's bumping in the pace, boxing out, taking space. These girls cannot do shit with her. No, they cannot do a damn thing with her. Yeah. Do you think they'll lower the rim? I was, I was seeing some tweets this morning about a potential. That's more fucked up than listing the weight. I think that's more fucked up too. Who's, who's talking about lowering the rim? Who was it? Was it Shaq? Shaq talking about it. Shaq's kind of nasty with the woman. I thought he was a reset. Yeah, I've been a little bit too much of a reset. I mean, it's to make it easier. What was he saying about her shorts? Oh, yeah, he got horny. He said some crazy. Yeah, you can't be doing that. Yeah. It's not right. Strictly platonic relationship outside of the shorts. The shorts controversy. What do you say? He said something about like having a more booty shorts. It's like you up on that wild and outstaging and booty shorts. He said something real nasty. There's, I mean, he it's tough for Shaq because he in his lifetime had to learn that you can't just say anything to girls. Yeah, yeah. Like his life started out where he could say anything. What does it say? Imagine you in those tiny little shorts. Tiny little booty shorts you had on on the wild and out show Duncan. You know how many t-shirts you go on cell? I mean, that's great. How many t-shirts? What's I even have to do with it? I think he said it would be good for the sport. You going to sell so many t-shirts but Duncan. But it's not like they're wearing fucking and one shorts. In women's volleyball, didn't they make them all start wearing thongs? Didn't they like mandate the song? I think that's beach only beach separate league. Lucky research this. Beach first clay. A lot of people are hitting me up about the tennis thing too saying you wouldn't get a point. Yeah. I was actually glad that you didn't have Twitter that week because I feel like that would have just annoyed you. I mean, they have to see much of the discourse. Honestly, it's fun to throw a match. Oh yeah. And just watch tennis people get obsessed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Furious. Yeah. Future pickleballers being upset at you. Yeah, exactly. That was pretty fun. Future pickle pickleballers is a shot. Why? Because the tennis people hate pickleball. It's taken up all the courts. They're using all the courts. I saw the pickleball that there's some recession indicators for pickleball. Really? Yeah. Like what? That there are companies, big companies spent a lot of money in like making tons of new pickleball equipment and stuff. And that stuff is getting cobwebs on the shelves. Really? Yeah, I was growing. I think that pickleball is lose was a very quick flash in the pan. Really? Well, I mean, I know for the, you know, a lot of the people I know are opting away from pickleball and towards Padel. Is that the one where you're in like the glass box? Yeah. And technically it's pronounced paddle, but everyone.
says Podel to differentiate from paddle tennis. Yeah, yeah, it's just platform tennis. Yeah, well, I mean, I'm not sad to hear. It is sad to hear. It's gonna be something that's like indicative of the decade who's been like 20 years. Oh, yeah, you know, it is sad to hear 'cause I actually didn't, I played it once and I had a great time. Pickle's fun. But I do get why it's phasing out because the people that were playing pickle ball, if I had to guess, I would assume the people that don't really exercise often or consistently play recreational sports often, like people that play tennis. Well, I don't think it's dead. I think that if you go to any 50 and over community, everybody's playing it in that lifetime, I feel like you have like. I think everyone played it a couple of times and we're like, this is really fun. And then they were like, but I could also just sit. I was gonna work out. Yeah, we're just gonna. No, not even that, just sit at the home. At the lifetime fitness that I work out that they had a basketball court and then they got rid of the basketball court and they put three pickle ball courts in. They paid paradise and put a ballpark in. (laughs) They used to, it used to be five in the morning. It used to be five in the morning that like that court would be packed, right? Yeah, it was like a famous. For ever, I would play games there and it would take forever to get in. But it was fun. It was a really fun basketball court back. Well, I think they up charged for pickle ball. Really? It's over. I mean, that's a terrible investment. But there's people playing in there. Not anymore. Why are so people are shooting hoops in there now? Over the pickle ball. Over the pickle ball nerds. Working on their dribble. I had this court for six, 30 to seven. I bought a basketball last week. What the fuck are you gonna do to the basketball court? What are you gonna do with a basketball court? A Wilson, great ball. I'm gonna dribble it to the park. Yeah, I'm gonna take it to the park. No way. We got the Astoria games this weekend. Indoor outdoor? Outdoor only. Tennis and basketball. Oh my God. The boys are ringing their rackets. Wait, so your boys are in town and you're gonna bring the basketball to the park? Yeah. I mean, dude, the Astoria park, phenomenal park first off. I bet. Not very packed, a lot of courts. I mean, they must have 30 courts there. And so, yeah, I mean, I've been jogging and I've been seeing the courts and I've been seeing anybody on these courts. You've been jogging? I have been jogging. What? Yeah, I'm taking back my life. And. (laughing) Damn you. You let me down this path. I gotta lose 30. Really? Yeah, before winter. I need to lose 10. 30? Yeah, I'm losing 30. Trying to get down to a healthy one-thirty. (laughing) What are you gonna do? Are you gonna lose 30? Should we do a weight loss competition? Yeah, I'm not trying to lose weight. No, let's do a weight loss competition. Let's do a weight loss competition. No. No, we'll do weigh-ins. I'm only working out so that I feel better about myself when I play video games. Or a calorie burning competition. Great garments. And also, you can eat. I feel better about eating when I've worked out. Matt McCuster said he was doing that with his two of his neighbors, a calorie burning competition. Does that sound nice? Dude, I-- Sounds like hell. I did a tough workout this morning. And then I was like, I need to do more because I don't like myself. And I got on the assault bike and did a, like a 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off for five minutes. By the end of it, I was choking on my own spit. Yeah, yeah, no, that's hell. I couldn't, I couldn't breathe around what was in my mouth. Yeah, no, the assault bike is actually torture. I actually felt like I was drowning in my own fluid. It's honestly shocking how quickly you can go from being fine to like the most exhausted you've ever been. Yeah, well, it wasn't at the goal. It was, but it was a scary thing to not be able to breathe because of what was in my mouth. Well, you're basically a Navy seal at that point. What do you mean? When they all lay in the water and they're like choking on the water as it comes up, you know, I think that you could have missed. There's more like I had a ball gag in my mouth. You're a gimp. Well, in the early stages of this show, one time we had Caleb on and we had a couple drinks on the podcast and then I was going to go to the gym after and I went to the gym and I was like, I had a little bit of, you know, I had a little bazion and I was like, I'm going to do the assault bike get that wear this off. I let it lay down on the bench in the locker room and I like the communal bench. I was sitting. That's like wearing down on it. 80-year-old Turkish guys put their direct asshole. Yeah, yeah. That's their choice. Untouched asshole. Yeah. Oh my God. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep. Yep. That's fucking wild. Well, I, I've been traveling, traveling has gotten to a point for me where it's, it is so miserable. Well, because you swore off our brothers at Delta. No, I've decked flu Delta twice this weekend and first class one way. Phenomenal flight. Okay. No, I'm not. You're talking. I mean, one of those first class ones where they got the white barrier around it. Oh, and about the shell. The white shell. You were a shell on the way to Tampa. Shell. You want the shell. And then they came over to me and they go, "Would you like to hear our options for our meal?" And I said, "Absolutely not." And then I didn't say that, obviously. I said, "Sure." But I said, "Sure." I said, "Sure," with like the idea of like, "I'm not eating this fucking poison." And the first thing they say is mushroom ravioli. Who wants that? Who is getting on a plane going, man? This would be a better flight if I had some mushroom ravioli. Look, man, we're doing our best at Delta. Pizza. Sandwich. Pizza. Fuck no. What are you talking about? A pizza on a plane? How are they going to successfully eat it? It's a two hour flight. I don't need mushroom ravioli in the first place. But if I'm going to eat, give me a slice. You have to understand that they are very limited what they can do because they're just basically microwaving everything, right? Just take it back to just normal food. No one wants mushroom ravioli. Doesn't sound that bad to me. It sounds like I couldn't come up with a worse thing to eat if I tried. What about the vegetarian, bros? It's probably the veg option. It's all veg. It's like they're Delta and all these, like the lounge operates under the. Bro, the Delta lounge operates under the idea that 99% of people are vegan or vegetarian. That's not true. It is. Everything is tofu. No, they show all those options. But they also have a huge thing of chicken. Come on. They're playing. You know, they're putting more effort into the veg than they are the chicken. You look at the veg. It's this nice setup. Because no one's touching it. No one's touching it. Yeah. Whereas everyone's mauling the chicken. Because no one is eating that shit. Get rid of it. That's all I'm saying. We got to get rid of the. Get rid of the. What are the options? Because that'll be telling. Oh, I don't need to remember. I heard mushroom ravioli. I mean. It was like tenetis. Yeah. That's what I'm good. I'm all set. But I will say, I said no with the thought in my head that I'm just going to wait for the snacks. Get some pistachios, maybe some gummies. Maybe one of those nice dark chocolate bars. Those things are great. They didn't bring any snacks. Wow. You left the Delta and forgot everything. You thought that they were going to bring the fucking snack cart through first class where they're servant meal service? They do that. They usually bring the meal once everyone's done with the meal. Sweetie. I'm around with the snack. No. And I know that because on my flight back, they brought the snacks. And I was not in class anymore. No, I wasn't in class anymore. Yeah, I wasn't in class anymore. I was in a middle seat. Wanted to blow my head off. Tell him that they're not bringing the snack cart around. They're bringing a chance for you to buy gummy bears. If you've had a shot at the mushroom ravioli. My guess would be if it had been a longer flight, they would have done meal service and then towards the end of the flight, maybe they bring you a snack basket. What about for a guy that decides he doesn't want the meal? You probably could have said, do you have any snacks? I don't want any of this dog food. I don't like the bag. I like the complaint. I'd rather complain and not get anything. I would say that you're going to be a tough person for someone someday, but clearly I'm tougher because I'm actually a very 12 years older than you and I'm completely alone. Come on now. And you're so polite to every flight attendant, you do all the things socially that would be like, oh, this guy knows how to act around people. And like you're polite to waiters and stuff. Am I not? You're not polite. Just a dick. You're not polite. These are all about you. I don't want to make it clear. These are all internal thoughts that I have. I'm not. Well, I wasn't even talking about you, but you're like, you're talking about me because you're, yeah, you're saying. If the shoe fits, I just was saying the Francis is, is my guess. Where's my guess? Where's my guess? When I, when I'm on a plane, I cannot get off the plane until I have helped someone get their bag down from the overhead. You specifically choose the first row of the plane. No. So that there's no one in front of you as you can help specifically said on the show that I opted out of first class because I hate the first seat so much. Lies. You lie. You're the bag father to harness my name as well. I did. I just kid. No, but really traveling is become so fucking miserable. And it's not even the flying. The flying is like the easiest part. It's the hotels. I hate staying in a hotel. And it's just miserable.
a whole time. Like I'm just sitting there. Like I feel like I'm like, I feel like I'm just in like a pod, just rot, just waiting and rotting. You need to start just spending all of your money on a nice hotel thing. But I, but like we stayed in that nice hotel in, in, in Shy Rack and like that didn't do anything for me. It didn't. No. It didn't scratch the it didn't scratch any issues. Where's Sharack? Chicago. Why do they call it that? Because more people died. Supposed, I mean, obviously this, this just can't be a true statistic. But they say that more people died at die in Chicago, have died in Chicago from gun violence than died in the Iraq war. But I think they're probably, yeah, yeah, I think they're not counting a large majority of the people that died in Iraq. Yeah. Right. More black. Yeah. I think they're counting just US soldiers. Yeah. Not the millions of people that we killed. But that's, and that's nor here nor there. Hotels are bad. I think that, yeah, I don't know. I haven't stayed in the hotel for a while, but I think a great hotel is great. Yeah. And a bad hotel is really bad. Do you remember when I said that Harry, I was like, Harry has now decided that he can only fly first class. Yeah. And once you break that seal, you're cooked, you'll never go back. But that I was like, I don't really mind not flying first class. I do care more about having a nice hotel. And Harry was like, I don't give a fuck about hotel. Yeah. Yeah. I don't need a nice hotel, whatever you've come around. No, I haven't because I'll tell you this. I remember the first time I sat in first class. And I remember sitting down in that seat and just being like, this feels right. That's not the point I'm making. But then I stayed in the nice hotel. And it didn't it didn't move the needle. I'm telling you the good hotel necessity is coming for you. I don't think it is. It is. I just want to be home, I think. Like I just like being like, I want to go home to my apartment. I want to be home too. I just hate like even like traveling like on vacation. I'm like, here we go again. You know, I don't like that means you're depressed. No, no, no. I think that just means you're depressed. I've never been happier. But also the hotel that you stayed in isn't what I think that that's not even what I'm talking about when I say a nice hotel. That was an expensive hotel. You guys didn't have the same room as me. I went to your room. You did not go to my room. You sat in a picture. It was humongous. It was the biggest room I've ever seen. Well, yeah, wrapped around. Yeah. That's stories. And it wrapped in this entire building. You could see you could see the green Bay and to Indiana. It was it was Florida ceiling windows that stretched like a hundred yards. And then I would have to press this button that closes the shades when I would want to masturbate viciously. When I was in the mood to viciously masturbate, I had to wait for the shades to come to a close. Why? Why? Because there's office buildings right across the street. And I'm like, I can see them and definitely see me. Sure. But I think that the point of being in such an ISO tell us that the people who are in the offices have to put up with you masturbating for them. I just don't. I can't risk it. When I'm in a room like that, I come on the window. Yeah. Yeah. That is a power move. Yeah. You got to go one or the other way. I lock eyes with some junior manager at like HSBC. It's a game of who can look away first. That's why I think. Once he looks away, that's when I come. Yeah. I do like that. And I do think that's smart. But I don't think you can go in between. You don't want to get caught jacking off in bed with someone zooming in 12 X on their phone and then it's on TikTok. That me holy shit. That's me. I didn't even know I went other inverted hands. That's how Japanese people come to suicide. I didn't even know I did that. That's fucking, but, but that's the problem with having the long shades too. Like by the time they fully close, you're not even horny. No. No. You don't even want to jack off. Yeah. I'm going to open them back up with some twisted puppet show. Yeah. I do love those automated blinds though. Very satisfying. If you work in one of those offices, do you think that it's like the greatest joy of your work year whenever you like spot titter penis? It's probably a good rush. It's probably an incredible rush for your work year. But I do wonder like do you think that the hotel windows are tinted or no? I bet there's just glare. I bet you it's, but I could see like every office building across the street. All of them. So much of the glare depends on time of day as well. You seem like a kind of around the clock. You're doing the 24, 18, 12 and six challenge every time you hit a hotel. Well, it's not sore anymore. So I can go again. Who do you think sees more breasts and penis? The guys that work in those office buildings at Deloitte or whatever, or your standard window washer? I've never been in a building where they have a window washer. So I don't know what like those guys schedules look like. Are they washing weekly or is it like a yearly type thing? They're probably working every day of the of a year or you know, they probably have a full work schedule, but building to building it's probably once maybe twice a year. I feel like you would you got to know when those guys are coming when you see the fucking. They just they don't they just drop drop down into your window and see the ropes. Yeah, you dangling from the ceiling. You've just said two feet getting lowered. I mean, I bet those guys see a lot of people. I have seen like videos online of people being like I was just changing in my room in the window washer. Just like a peered. And they can't they can't go anywhere. Now I got to wash the window. Yeah, windows not clean. Yeah. What are they? What are they going to do? Skip the window. Now their jobs on. What are they going to not jerk off? Guys, I watched the first episode of season three of Tires. Oh, yes. Have you watched any of it? I haven't yet, but it is very good. So fucking funny. Yeah. It's so much funnier than last season. Yeah, that's what Tyler was saying. It's the best season. It's crazy. Urban is hysterical. Shane is Shane's acting is very subtle. Yeah, yeah. He just does like a slight eyebrow raise. He's gotten mastered. These tiny like facial things that make me realize I overact in a big way. Well, I think it depends on the character, but I don't think you overacted in your in your scenes. It was close. No, it was close. You're playing a guy on coke. Fun. It's a big character too. Yeah. I started watching and I got so much anxiety about it that I had to skip to the last episode to see how it ended. What? Yeah, I had to jump ahead read the last page of the book. That's crazy. That's not that's not how you're supposed to watch it. Isn't that what you do with books and movies? No. I mean, Pat McAfee's album, I listened to a whole thing straight through. No, you went to the Wikipedia and looked up the synopsis of song 18. Yeah, yeah. What? I've erected my phone, so there was no distractions. So no, it would text you. Yeah, way too you get to six. Yeah. Yeah. What kind of music is it? Country, country. He's a musical. He's doing jelly roll. Oh, it's like, it's like the exact same type of music as jelly roll, but way worse. Let him live out his fantasy, bro. I've been broke. No joke. What does he say? He's like, that's literally a Bob Dylan lyric. He's like, I've been broke. No joke. I'm talking pennies and doms. It's like, bro, what is this? You're going ESPN. Can't be making songs like that. It is funny that they did have to fire like a lot of people at ESPN to keep them there. And then it's, I've been broke, no joke. But you also have to be a master of making fun of him. If you want to make fun of him, like he's, he's, it's a make fun of a bowl album, but at the same time, you got to fucking let him go for his dreams. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. I don't really have a problem with people making passion projects. Yeah. That is if it is a passion project. What else would it have been? You got the call. You think he got paid more money for his album than what he's, isn't he on like a $50 million contract? 60. It's like 60. I thought it was more. But that's just, I think that's probably just for me as being. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't know. I don't, if it was a passion project, good for him. But I feel like it was probably for money. Quick buck. I wonder quick turnaround. Do you think, do you have to be this whole time? It's been like, I've secretly, I wish I was a country, a country star. Well, I think that he's the kind of guy who's been successful at so many things that he's like, why not try to be successful at something else? He's like doing a wrestling and like, he's like a great three-point shooter and was in the NFL and like, fucking is has monopolized ESPN. Like he's, he's like, you guys get the call too? Curly glazing right now is adequate damn near out of control. Just listening off all of his accomplishments. You're going with the like level one edge lord internet take of just being like, he fucking, and it sucks too. Pro the album is objectively terrible. You listen. Yeah, I listen. To do what? I listened on the flight to Tampa. You hate listen. Yeah, I was because I was like I, when he put it out, I thought it was going to be an audio book. And then I was like, there's no way it's actually an album. And then I listened and it was actually an album. What does he say? He's like, I'm, they say, I'm mega. It don't matter.
You keep saying, you keep saying what is he saying? We haven't listened to him. - We haven't, definitely, it's listened. - Would you? - Yeah, 100%. - You 100% have listened. - I downloaded it on all the platforms and paid for it too. - Exactly. - I want to support the arts. I just wanted to support the arts. - I got no problem with Pat. I like his show. - No, no, this is gonna get to him. I'm gonna make sure this comes across his desk. And I just know that if you saw him in person, you'd be like, go. - Yeah, of course. - I bumped your shit. - That's how I am. - And I will always be that way. (laughing) - I'm a spineless coward. - So you're telling me that on a flight to Florida, you, - Hateless. - You turned down and thought negatively about the mushroom ravioli while hate listening to a Pat McAfee album. And yet you think travel has just gone to hell. - Yes. - The mushroom ravioli thing. - You assaulted your senses. (laughing) - Why am I having a bad time? - The mushroom ravioli thing was not as big of a deal. I told you, that was all internal. But I was also, I was ready for it. Like I'm so used to delta having these weird obscure meals. So I was prepared for mushroom ravioli. - You say it was all internal as opposed to what? Will your Pat McAfee were like turning the guy to you, right? And being like, you gotta listen to how much this sucks. - Well, no, I mean, like I'm not, I'm not looking at the flight attendant being like, are you fucking serious with mushroom ravioli? - Yeah. - Yeah. - Couldn't do what, where's the pizza? (laughing) - You're trucking cheese ass thing. - Yeah. - I'm never gonna say that. - Where's the pizza? - I didn't listen to Pat McAfee's whole album either. I skimmed. - I've started to get Delta Lounge goggles. - Oh yeah, you don't go anymore. Is that what you mean? You don't go, you skip it? - No. I mean, I've convinced myself I'm going to meet my wife in the Delta Lounge, so every woman in there looks way more attractive than they actually are. I mean, it's possible. - Why, one of the criteria that that makes you think that this would be a suitable woman. - Think about who's in a Delta Lounge. One, she's a Delta flyer. So, I mean, I could more than like political ideology religion, choice of airline is more matters that was from a compatibility standpoint to me than those other things. - Yeah, because you don't have to use one of your international upgrades on her. Like, you guys get twice as many international upgrades as a couple because you both have status. - You also don't want her going to Newark while you're going to the Guardian. - That's that, it's that. It's so many things. I mean, I couldn't date a United flyer. I certainly couldn't date an American flyer. And I certainly couldn't date someone who was like, I just choose the cheapest one. I use Expedia. Go to hell. - All my tickets are barked books through a third party app. - And you can tell you guys about my price line thing. - Would you like to? - No, no, continue. - No, no, no, I want to have it. - We're going to get to the price line thing. We'll get there. - But yeah, that. And then she's a Delta flyer. She's probably a hard working individual who probably has an AMX. - Flying a lot for work, I'm assuming. A lot of the time. - Power achieving. - Yeah, driven, right? - Concent to a goal. - Knows has an airport routine, so she's probably tight A. She gets the airport early. - Punctual. - You know? - Travels a lot, goes well with your schedule. - Yeah. - Travel a lot. - Yeah. So all of that sort of self-selects for me, someone who isn't opposed to mushroom ravioli. - Vegan by force. Strong armed into being vegetarian. - I'm rooting for it. Have you ever made an approach? - I spoke to someone recently. - Really? - Yeah. - What was the cold open? - Do you play golf? - Yeah. - She was wearing a Shinnecock coat, like a jacket that had a Shinnecock emblem on it. - Did you examine her fingers beforehand? - Yeah, covered in calluses. (laughing) - Pock marked. - Yeah, I just walked in. - Scabby. - I didn't know if she had a wedding ring or if you checked for one. - Oh no, no. I don't see, she didn't. - Do you check? - And she immediately was like, "Yeah, I'm off actually going to play golf now." And then she was off on like a golf trip with some girlfriends of hers. She's a four-handy cap. - What? - Yeah. - You must have been a wrecked. (laughing) - That's been a wrecked hearing that. - Yeah, I was. I was a wrecked. - Just five words. - But we talked for a little bit, and then she flew, and then she DMed me, and was like, you know, I didn't know you were, she was like 88 of my friends, follow of you. - Damn. - She was like, you told me you like, play golf for fun. (laughing) And then we didn't talk anymore. - I don't know. - I don't know. I just didn't. - You didn't see it going anymore? Well, maybe you'll see her again. - Maybe. - You'll probably see her again. - She was really nice. - She sounded beautiful. - She was lovely. - Stunning. - Yeah. - Stunning. - She sounds like a, yeah, she sounds like, which one was Helen of Troy, and which one was the one with the scars on her face? Or Helen of Troy has the scars on her face? - Yeah, and her sister's Clad of Nestra. - I didn't even know that there was a sister in the picture. - I don't know who any of these people are. - Clad of Nestra. - Clad? - Clavicular Nestra. (laughing) - Clad of Nestra was the wife of Vagamemnon, who killed him when he got home. - See, I didn't know the sacrifice of their daughter. - I didn't know the part about the sacrifice of their daughter. - Yeah. - Come on, bro. - Don't do me like that. - Probably when it breaks in the first part of it. - I'm gonna have to see the invite instead. (laughing) - You don't have to see inside out, too. (laughing) Isn't inside out, too, one of the highest grossing movies of all time, I'm pretty sure it is. - Probably. - It's like top 10 grossing of all time. - This show is sponsored by BetterHelp. So I had to go to a wedding a couple weeks ago and I had a flight and the flight-- - Your sisters? - No. - And the flight got canceled. And then I re-booked a flight via price line. It was the only option. And then that flight got canceled as well. And then instead of refunding me or giving me any option, they re-booked me for this was on Thursday night. They re-booked me for a flight on Monday morning and would not allow me to cancel it. Jet blue wouldn't let it was Jet blue unfortunately. Jet blue wouldn't allow me to cancel it. Price line wouldn't allow me to cancel it. And I was like, this is like, you just booked me a trip for like a completely different, like in what world would that work? - I mean, I don't know why you're surprised. Like you're using coupons to book flights. - Flight cancellation is almost a hundred percent for refund guaranteed. If the flight isn't-- - Not through price line, you know? You might as well have spun a wheel and be like, where do you want me to go? - Now I've canceled a lot of flights through price line. They also usually have the 24 hour free cancellation policy. - That's the prize of the free casino is a price line flight. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Anyways, they refused my refund.
I go to I'm it was like 300 bucks. So I'm like I want to get this money back. I'm calling them. It's all AI. Everything is AI. You can't talk to a real person. It's crazy because they'll even make the AI have an Indian action. So you think you're talking to a real person. It truly is like it should be illegal. Like it bro, you should not your entire customer service should not be legally allowed to be AI. It's crazy. Who's isn't is Delta? Of course. Delta is amazing. It is my service. Amazing. I mean, and I think that's my problem is I think I've been spoiled with Delta's customer service assuming that price line would even be in the same galaxy was clearly a mistake. So I tweeted them and then I tweet DM them. Hello, all caps. No response. All caps. All caps. Do Delta's customer service is like what Mindy Caling and Jim show in the office when they're like trying to sell paper to some guy. Oh, yeah. Check this out. And he calls and she's like, hello, Dundermiff. Oh, yeah, yeah. How can I fix your Delta flight today? Yeah, it really is. They're unbelievable. So I get so they I'm going I call them. They say we have a wait where you're in the queue. We'll call you back. They don't even give you an option to wait. They just hang up the phone. We'll call you back. We're Delta. They'll give you the option. I can say you could stay. We could talk to you. I'd love to stay. I want to keep that out. I want I'd prefer to stay and wait. Yeah, yeah. Talk to a person. What kind of weights do you get on Delta when you call? None. Never more than a minute. No. Yeah, I mean, you're immediate. Yeah, but you're you're dying. You're on the you're like 355. Yeah, you're on the verge of 360. Sometimes Harry will be on a phone call and they'll be like, I'm sorry, I have to jump to something else. I've seen you do it in the same car as him. Just so you could talk to someone. Exactly. No shot. No shot. They have too much respect. So so then they that was at like 6 p.m. They call me back at 4 30 in the morning. So it's obviously I'm not going to answer that or even know that that happens. I'm asleep. So then you miss the call. Then you call back same exact thing. You're now you got to wait the entire day for them. At this point, we're getting closer and closer to like, I'm going to get charged for this flight. So then I comment on their Instagram page and I say, uh, please respond to my DM or I will be getting the DOT involved. Always, I mean, bro, within an hour, they're email me and they say, you're you're post on social media made its way to our executives office. And we are issuing a full refund. And then I replied, man of the people, just a true man of the people. And I said, I appreciate the refund, but you guys got to work out your entire customer service issue. I said, if I didn't have a big following online, I never would have got that refund. I said, I can't imagine how many people you guys are fucking over every day. Wow. Stealing money from them. You're Robin Hood. Yeah, no response, but it's the thought that counts. You're Robin Hood. It is pretty insane how quickly if you bring up the DOT, they like they snap into a whole other mode. I've never done that before. I don't think it was the DOT. I think it's the fact that you have a big following. Yeah, I think it was the DOT because I was de I tweeted at them. They didn't say anything got like 2000 likes, no reply, nothing. It was right when I dropped the DOT within an hour. You know, you could make a lot of money on like doing an ad on your social media. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. I don't do that. Right. Exactly. Like you could probably make too much of this. You could make like 500% of what you're like, you're like you're you'll only use your social media to try to get $400 back instead of using your social media to try to make, you know, it's not all about the money for me. But it is literally is all about the money. I didn't get the call. Like you guys did. It is about the money. No, it's not. It is. It's all love of the game. Just because you want them to fix their customer service at price line because you got William Shatner's not doing a good enough job. Exactly. Well, I wanted my money back. Obviously. That's what it was all about. That's what it was all for. But I figured, hey, I've got this opportunity to speak to the highest executives at the price line, which it definitely was not. And I said, let me use that and do good. You need to go to the price line offices and talk to their board like when an up-and-coming singer is trying to get a record deal. Yeah. You need to jump on the table. Yeah, Bobby Shmerda. Yeah, you need to Bobby Shmerda then. Yeah. I think that's a good idea. Honestly. And just yell at them that this is not how it's supposed to be. Right. I just think that all those sites probably had a boom and then it's like, okay, but there's not that many of them anymore. What do you mean? They're so all out there. But there's, I mean, I don't like line expedient kayak. I know that they exist, but I'm saying that it's probably dwindled to demand for those. I would imagine. I mean, their customer service is so bad and they're like, they literally just scam the fuck out of you. It's, but it is like you can get way cheaper flights on those websites. Way cheaper? Yeah. What do you think, friends? It's also a great way to see all of the options. I'll use it a lot to see all of the options and then I'll go to that Airlines website and book the flight. And by the time, by the time you go back to price line, they know you've already visited the site twice. So they're going to jack your prices up. No, it's fine. I'm never giving them a dollar. I'll never see a dollar from me. You're a kayak man now. Kayak for life. Kayak.com. Booking.com. Booking. Yeah. Oh, man. All right. All right. It's all an episode. Great to see you. Great to see you, brothers. Yeah, be well. I'll see you guys on Thursday. I'll see you guys tomorrow. All righty. Goodbye.

Summary:
" Francis shares stories from his recent travels, including attending a Call of Duty tournament and a Hamptons birthday party with a prize-based blackjack game.
