Reversing 'incurable': The body's hidden power to heal - Episode 239 with Karen 'ZuZu' Armes
56m 11s
Zuzu shares her transformative journey of reversing health issues like epilepsy and scoliosis through natural, holistic practices, emphasizing the body’s innate ability to heal. She stresses the critical role of diet—particularly nutrient-dense, organic, and living foods—in reversing illness and elevating personal vibrational energy. Central to her approach is understanding the nervous system’s shift between stress (sympathetic) and rest (parasympathetic) states, which she teaches can be managed through deep breathing, smiling, and mindful questioning. Zuzu critiques mainstream medicine and education for omitting vital health knowledge, advocating for individual empowerment through self-education and conscious choices. She connects emotional and environmental frequencies to health, noting that thoughts, diet, and surroundings directly influence well-being—especially through foods like organic herbs and fresh produce. Her message extends to community impact, showing how individual acts of peace, like meditation, can reduce crime and uplift collective energy. Ultimately, she calls for a cultural shift from reactive to preventative, conscious living, where people reclaim agency over their health, relationships, and worldviews through awareness, education, and daily intentional action. She encourages listeners to adopt these practices, share the message, and support holistic healing through platforms like her website and social media.
Have you ever wondered where the problems in the world today would exist if we had deeper
connection to ourselves, others and the environment and acted from that place?
Welcome to the Conscious Action Podcast with your host, Brian Burneman, who believed
that connection is the key to taking conscious action as individuals in creating a better
world.
We are here to raise awareness and inspire meaningful actions by sharing stories, knowledge and conversations
with thought leaders and thinkers, from sustainability to well-being and everything related to conscious
living, our mission is to empower you to be the change that we want to see in the world.
Welcome everyone to an episode of the Conscious Action Podcast. I'm Brian Burneman,
your host and I have the pleasure to be showing all the way from the U.S. by Zuzu or Karen.
Thank you so much Zuzu for connecting once more with me. I'm really looking forward to this
conversation, but before we get into it, I would love it if you can share for everyone that
is watching and listening to us a little bit about you and your journey up to this moment in this life.
Well, well, number one, thank you and Brian, you're just, you're the kind of guy all of us moms
want our daughters to marry. You just are. So I'm so glad that you are out there influencing so
many good people because you have such a beautiful heart and you do such a wonderful job on your show.
So thank you, thank you, thank you. And that's just it. Like, I'm a lover of people. I love people.
I love humans. I get emotional because I love people so much because it is, it's something
where I feel we've been so pulled apart and I think that our governments globally have done
everything and continue to do things to try to pull us apart and I'm so grateful for social media.
I'm so grateful for podcasts. I'm so grateful for people who recognize it and they're like,
wait a minute, that's not how humans operate. So we can pull together now. And that's basically what
I even did with my health. So I grew up with epilepsy and I had scoliosis. And so literally,
I just reversed my scoliosis in my early 50s and I'm 58 right now. So, you know, but like,
realizing that, hey, I don't think I was told everything that was true about epilepsy because I
reversed it in three months. I've never had a seizure since. And Stoliosis took me 18 months
and my spine is beautiful and I've X-rays to prove it. So when I discovered that I was able to
reverse my epilepsy in my early 20s, I think is when I started really questioning, well, what
didn't you tell us about heart disease and what having you told us about high blood pressure
and how come you haven't told us about this and that, right? And all of a sudden, people in my life
that would get sick and one of our family members got cancer and that then we didn't have the
worldwide wedding. We certainly didn't have AI. I don't think I'll ever trust the AI, by the way,
I'm too old and cynical. Just trust anybody. I'm not going to believe you. Who's paying to put
that information in there because I know it's wrong because this is my profession. So please don't
look at AI for health answers, anyone who's listening. But anyhow, I remember it was really neat
because I got to study from libraries and read a bunch of books and I just, I love education. And
so I just raised my children with a lot of education. My kids did really, really well in school,
but they worked really hard because I opened up cafes and grocery stores and we were the leaders
in our the whole Midwest of America doing expose and we opened up a second clinic and a second
restaurant in a different state out West. And so we just kind of evolved and but what after evolving
was my love and my passion for human beings just just for everyone being I really do believe we're
created equal and we have this brother's sisterhood just because we are all we all look the same.
We're all the same people's right. We just might have different colors and shapes. But I think because
of that, that's fine here because I pay a lot of money to be on podcasts, you know, I actually
pay people to organize all of it and do it and it doesn't make any money. I just love spreading
this information because if I can help a mom or a woman or a man, they're going to start helping
their friends and their children and their loved ones. And so the ripple effect of inspiration and hope
is something I'm here to give. And that's why I do call it Zuzu Unleashed because I don't care what
you want to talk about. We can talk about your hotel, especially we can talk about God help you can
talk about sleeping we can talk about anything because I've been helping people reverse disabilities
for 24 years naturally. And it's been amazing. So I literally woke up this morning and another person
told them they were now pregnant. And you know what? Cool thing is they tell me before they tell
anything else. I know before her mom knows because she's just so excited, you know. And so people who
who can't get pregnant and they get pregnant and people who were told they'll live with this
for the rest of their life are they're going to have a stage 4 cancer. You're just going to die.
Oh my gosh. No, you know, anybody who's out there giving an eff sentence doesn't understand
the most capable capability the human body has to reverse disabilities. And it's my caution if you
haven't figured that out. But about me. Yeah, and I know that if people cannot like feed it out,
listen to your watching you that passion, you know, that you can you can really feel it. And I think
that it's it's one of the things a lot of times for those of us that as you're saying like we've
been fortunate enough to know something different that perhaps what is being shared in, you know,
like mainstream education or mainstream spaces that there are ways to to create a change in our
lives. There's ways to live with more ease as you're saying stuff that this is to be able to
understand the role of, you know, like the nervous system and how that has an impact on our health,
the the food that we do and how that has an impact in how like in our health, the people or
spaces that we're in, you know, like the things that we're looking at, you know, there's there's so
many things that we can, you know, use to nourish ourselves or not. And a lot of people don't know
this. And I keep on, you know, like every year for for the last nine years, especially every year
at a university starting with with a new group of students. And I need to remind myself they know
nothing. They know nothing. And it's not for their own fault, like they know nothing. Just I
didn't know anything. And I learned and now I'm sharing, but it's just, you know, it keeps me
in a really beautiful space of, you know, like privilege and humbleness, but as well of, you know,
this wanting to share which is what you're doing. Yes, but one of my clients today, you know,
they had never heard anything like that I was sharing. He came in with diabetes. I'm like, okay,
well, let's get rid of this, you know, let's do this. By the time he left, an hour and a half late,
for him and his wife, they knew how the body under he knew what the pancreas he knew was going to
and he knew what to do. And and some of the frustration I get from my clients and yesterday,
definitely from one of the women I was working with, they're like, how come we don't get taught this?
Like how come I did this is pretty basic. I'm like, there's no money in healthy people. No matter
where you live, you know, if you're out there getting people healthier, if you're just eating,
if people are out the sun and drinking enough water and getting healthy salt and eating vegetables,
they're going to be really healthy. Very rarely are they going to need the doctor. And so it's,
but I also don't think that doctors know a lot of this information. I know they don't,
because my daughter graduated from Johns Hopkins and she knows what's being taught, but she knows
what's not being taught. And she's actually sent many letters in Johns Hopkins offering to bring
in some of our courses. And the great news though, Ibrahim, is that the world is waking up a lot to
needing both Western and Eastern medicine and bridging them. And a third of our students right now
on the planet are medical. So doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, chiropratars, dentists,
they take our programs through holistic health educators, because we teach what's not being taught
in those schools. We teach the science of natural healing and how it's all functions. We talk a lot
about EMFs and food and different types of food diet and how we can reverse a lot of dishees
in our bodies with the surgical factory that God sourced, whatever you might call that,
to you what they put in our bodies. Because for many people we do believe that we are created
in the image of God or that we came from somewhere because cats have cats and dogs have dogs and
giraffes have giraffes, you know, we came from somewhere. And this earth was full of vegetation
before anything else. It had to be. It had to have all of the vegetation before an animal could
come before we could come. So we had something to eat. And that is how we sustain life is vegetation.
Vegetation is a gift. All those weeds, people call weeds. Most of those are herbs. And they're very
beneficial for reversing dishees and preventing dishees and the body. So I think if we look at where
we came from, it wasn't a stalk. We didn't get dropped out from Mars or Venus when we were born.
We literally came out of our mothers and we grew in that body from food she was eating.
And not all moms know what
they're supposed to eat, and not all moms have access to really healthy food.
So you can look at the world in general and go, "Oh, they didn't have enough of X, Y,
and Z minerals."
So these children often have these issues, and these children over here, and these children
are born into even the south, the south of America.
So here, that's all the southern part of North America, where I live.
These are beautiful families here.
I've never met the kinder people. They're just so nice everywhere you go.
You can go to the bank and everyone's calling you sweetheart and love Doug and whatever.
But they eat a lot of meat that has parasites in it, a lot of work.
And so they have different struggles here.
So if you look at the world, you can see what the diets are from around the world.
You can also see different health trends.
So for people who are sick, that's one thing I ask is, "Well, let's look at the diets
in your area. Let's look at how many vegetables we're eating and fruits and nuts and seeds.
Let's look at the healthy fats that we're eating."
And you know, let's start from there, and it's been really, it's been really, really
neat.
Yeah, and I heard, you know, I started saying, because I've talked through the years to
a lot of doctors and nurses, and they mostly have been beautiful people that went into
those careers to help people. And they just know what they were taught. And this is one
of the things that I usually say. I tend to go to more of the holistic what we might
call alternative medicine, just because that's my choice. But that doesn't mean that I think
less of the people that don't know the entire picture. They just learned a part and they
might be really good at that part. And if someday I need something really specific, I want
that person with that knowledge to give it to me so that then I can make informed decisions
based on everything else because I do believe that, you know, like there's this holistic
approach to well-being. And like, you know, as you're saying, you know, when a doctor tells
someone a prognosis or a diagnosis first and then prognosis, like, it's just telling
me the diagnosis and then I'll go and do the rest of the research or whatever. But there's
as you're saying, now more and more and more people are realizing those professions that
they haven't been taught all of the necessary things for them to actually support as they
want to. And, you know, as you're saying, a lot of your students are at that and that's
beautiful because I do feel like there's a big shift happening in a lot of different
ways in the world. And some of it is wonderful, some of it is super challenging and not really
nice. But there is a shift. Anything else shift is necessary. And you know, that it's interesting
of just a lot of times talking with people because through the years regardless of the situation
that I was financially, the organic food was a priority. You know, my organic fruit and
veggies were a priority. I choose to be vegan. That's my choice. And so, you know, like that's
as you're saying, like fruits and nuts and legumes and veggies, those are my staples. And
I choose as much as possible to eat organic because I know what all of the chemicals will
do in my body if I don't eat that. So, you know, and I know that majority of people
are not educated not. And also, it is a, I can access issue as well because a lot of places
don't have organic food, a lot of, like here in New Zealand, like it's a, you know, it's
a choice, but it's also a privilege to be able to buy organic food because it is significantly
more expensive than, you know, more conventional food. And one of the things that I say a lot
of times to people is the organic food, it's not expensive. It's the chemical food is cheap.
And you know, that's, that's a, for me, it's a choice. And yes, it's a choice that makes
it so that I can do it. And here, you know, I'm growing in my garden, a lot of food, but
it is a choice and not everybody knows it.
And here's a really neat thing. So, I happen to deal with quite a bit as organic versus
not organic. I just teach people something. So, let me show that it's, you all have this
apostat at the base of your brain. Your apostat is a tiny organ and it controls your appetite.
So it measures the nutrients in your bloodstream. If you have a lot of nutrients in your bloodstream,
and the episat turns off, you're no longer hungry. If you need nutrients, it turns on and
you're hungry. Here's why I eat your organic. It's almost 100% of the time less expensive.
And this, I've done this test with so many big family, small families, and singles. When
you do eat nutrient dense food, which your organic is always more nutrient dense because
it has a higher brick weight. Let me turn them on. How do I forget that one, Brian? Anyhow,
so when you eat non-organic food, it doesn't have the same nutrients as organic does. Organic
most often, they're composting, they're adding nutrients to it, that costs the money.
But here's the neat thing. You can eat a non-organic apple and then probably need another one.
You can eat one organic apple and you're full. You can't eat another one. You can eat a
big mac or a hamburger that's from some cheap restaurant and you'll be hungry very shortly
if not right away. You can eat a salad that is 8 ounces or 15 ounces and you'll be full.
And I didn't even eat a pound of food and I'm full because there's so many nutrients
in the bloodstream that the apisat turns it off. So quite honestly, when people do go
organic, they're going to save money because they're going to eat less. One of the couples
I had earlier this morning, it was new for him some of it was. We were talking a lot
about food and I assured him that he and his family, his wife, was there but they had
a family as well. They were going to be able to save money in a long run because now we're
not buying, so we're not buying any soda, we're not buying all the grain, all the puffy,
I mean, if anybody knew how much an actual bag of chips cost you per pound, you would
not buy them anymore. But if you look at the chips and the crackers and the, it starts
eating noodles full of rice, those are all useless to the bottom. Your rice is just sugar.
Grain is just sugar. Dairy is just sugar and make people big and uncomfortable and gain
weight. That's what I think of it. Your cow is your baby, your calf that's born is in
a suck out of its mother to get from 60 pounds to a few hundred pounds. And if you look
at a lot of people who suck out of cows, a lot of them look like they might have gained
a little extra weight because the, you know, the sugar is in the fats and cow's milk is
designed to bring a big, capped hundreds of pounds where our, our milk from the woman,
my breast milk have the right sugar and fat content to raise the children, my many children,
from, you know, six or ten pounds, thank you, Amy, to like, you know, 25 or 30 pounds.
So my milk is much different than a cow's milk. And I think a lot of people just don't
stick back to consider that a little bit. And I mean, if people want to, you know, drink
out of cows, I don't mind at all. I just tell them by a cow, put her in your backyard,
name her Betsy and drink milk the same day that you get it out of the teeth. After it's
24 hours, there's no electrical, there's no electrical frequency worth drinking. And
we, I think a lot of people might not realize we're electrical beings. So when we eat
food, it's the electricity of the minerals in the food that actually spark our body. So
you're, it's not like your bones are like made of calcium. Yeah, it's like, if calcium
in our bones, but that's not how our bones grow stronger. They grow stronger with the
spark of calcium. It's the electrical interchange exchange. And so, yeah, I think a lot of
people aren't, they just don't realize that that apostat that controls appetite can turn
on and off. And so they might enjoy really great nutrient dense food and start saving
money because it turns it off. You have all the nutrients now. So it is, it's really,
it's really neat, it's really. I remember, you know, a time, a few years ago, I was using
a coworking space to do all of my admin work. And we had, and that space there was like
once a week, you know, a potluck. And I took the, a salad, like, very simple salad from
my garden. Like, people were like, what is this? What do you mean? And like, this tastes
very different. And it's like, well, there's, there's nothing special about it. Like this
is just like lettuce. Like, this is kale. Like, this is, like, this is how it's supposed to
taste. And I figured it's, it's that, like, a lot of times, you know, like, we are used
to things that are not nutrient dense. And, and, and again, not everything is about the
full, yet knowing some of the things about the full is so important to be able to make
[BLANK_AUDIO]
choices, you know, as you're saying, both for being well or for reversing, some this is that
that is not, you know, like a death sentence for many, if we know what to do. But that's what,
like I love for you in society to share a little bit about your experience as well and how you work
with your clients around stress and, you know, and moving from sympathetic into passing pathetic.
I love that. Well, that's actually one of my favorite things to talk about because, um,
so the automatic nervous system overall, you have the parasympathetic, which is rest and digest,
we're in that right now. We're having a wonderful conversation on thirsty, so I drink some water,
you know, we're we're dorm or digesting food, our mind is racing and pulling things out of all
the little filing cabinets that we have in our brain. You can tell if you're hot or if you're cold,
like, this is parasympathetic, we're very aware of our surroundings where sympathetic is much more
stressful and that is fight or flight and we might forget to go to the bathroom or forget to eat or
forget to drink. We don't know if we're too hot or too cold, you know, et cetera. And what's
interesting is our bodies are in sympathetic or parasympathetic, but a lot of people don't
rise blind that they're so is their mind. And when our mind is in sympathetic, stressful, that's
called, you know, a confined state of mind. We're very confined, we've got to get this done,
got to do this, got to meet this deadline, got to do this, got to work, we're very confined,
where when our body and our mind go into parasympathetic, we go into what we call the free state of mind.
Think of the people in your life, think of you, think of you in a confined state.
No one wants to be around you, right? Come on guys, we all are the minute. When we get freaked out,
when we're like, oh my gosh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Like everyone gets there. You don't
want to be around you, other people don't want to be around you, right? We don't want to be,
so when people start freaking out, don't be judging them like that's there. Now we know how they
really are. No, they're in confined state. So they're not very rational right now.
Just like you aren't very rational when you're in confined state, but that free state
is really important to become more in the parasympathetic. So to switch from that stressful state
to parasympathetic, there's a couple tricks that you can do. Obviously deep breathing is very
easy. That's one of them to help switch, but another one is to ask questions. So if you're up at
night and you're worried about something asking that question, I'll just ask any questions.
Like I do this. If I wake up at 330 or 4 in the morning, I'll just start asking questions,
because if I go into, oh my gosh, there's so much to get done or I didn't do this yesterday,
or I got to get that done, right? And hello, I run three businesses. We have 69 acres. We have
an Airbnb. Like there's a lot going on. We have staff. And when I find myself getting to that
stressful mode, I ask questions. What will happen if I don't concentrate on this right now?
What would happen if I just go back to sleep? What would happen if do I need to, like if you start
asking questions, your mind isn't going to go down that myelin sheath, that pathway of stress,
stress, stress is going to go, well, I guess it would be fine if you went back to sleep. Like you'll
catch yourself and oh, another thing that people can do when they start getting too stressed out
is just sit back and smile. Just smile. Just start smiling. Just randomly start smiling. It'll
calm you down. It'll give a little bit of work to your mouth, right? But just start smiling,
doing some deep breathing, sit back, go outside, take a walk, right? All these things that we can do
because our nervous system creates neurotransmitters. This is so important, everyone. Our neurotransmitters
create, I mean, our nervous system creates neurotransmitters. And those neurotransmitters actually
control the whole body. And if you find that you are in, fight or fight a lot and you can't
sleep and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, or you have Tourette or epilepsy or you're starting to
shake more often, you're probably gabbed deficient. Although I never recommend taking hormones,
I actually do recommend. I never used to recommend taking any hormones because then your body won't
make them. However, there are some beautiful products out there now that you can take that help
your body to make its own GABA again. And so I started using some of these products for my clients.
And it has been amazing to see the difference when they're finally getting enough GABA and their
mind calms down, their body calms down and they can switch over to that parasympathetic,
their whole life is going to change. None of us are going to make rational decisions between
three in the morning and five in the morning. None of you. If you wake up at between two and five
in the morning, don't believe the thing you think because it's wrong. You don't have cortisol,
you don't have GABA, you're very irrational and you're probably depressed and don't do anything.
Except ask questions and say, well, I'm not going to sleep, right? It's like, don't believe yourself
because it's not real. It's not you speaking. It's the subconscious mind or something I'm going to haunt you.
But it definitely isn't you. So I think some of the easiest ways is to laugh, to smile,
start asking questions, do some tapping. Freedom technique is amazing. And then doing deep breathing.
There's so many ways to get yourself out. Even if you're in a cubicle at work,
isn't matter if you're in the hospital, isn't matter where you are. I'll get worked up.
If I'm working with clients and I've got a lot of things to handle, I just go inward and I try
to deep breathe before I go talk to someone because I have definitely talked to somebody when I'm not
in a free state and a confined state and that conversation is not going to go very well.
So before and I've learned this, so I don't want to go have a conversation with somebody when I'm
in confined. If I'm in fighter flight or stressed out, I go to my room. I put myself on a time out.
I stay away from humans because I might say something. I don't want to say and then I've hurt
someone's feelings or made an enemy and we don't want that either. So that's probably my little
tidbits for how to switch from one to the other. Yeah. And I thought, you know, as we're saying,
the more awareness that we have of that, then we can support ourselves and our relationships,
as we're saying, by taking that time away, by saying like, let me just go for a walk for five
minutes and I'll come back and we can continue to talk about this because a lot of times,
yeah, like we were in that state. And this is something that I say to everyone.
Our brain has developed in a way that it doesn't understand real dangers from perceived dangers.
It's danger. And when we don't feel safe, then we're going to go into that sympathetic response
into that stress mode because we need that capacity to run, to fight, to, you know, like, to
whatever it is that we need to do. And now, my anxiety of the people and I see this at work,
a lot of the times with my clients, you know, like, majority of people are chronically
in sympathetic. They don't know how to switch off from that. And therefore, they create even
greater inflammation in their body. They create greater problems in their relationships in a lot
of different areas, both internally and externally. And I think that the more that we have this
education on how simple it is to make that switch. Like the reality, I often say this,
it's really simple, not easy because we have been, you know, conditioned and trained in other ways,
and as you're saying, we have our neurons and the neural pathways that are used to fire and
are going to continue to fire unless we do something different. So when we're able to create that
space, as you were saying, to slow down to ask questions, to breathe deeply, to potentially move
the body. I do a lot of things like, okay, I'm just going to move the body as to what you were
saying with the FT. And it's like, the body as well, like, just bring awareness to the body by
movement, as you were saying, by tapping, by doing something that brings a switch from that
confinement in your head and that overthinking or ruminating into, okay, I have a body, I'm going
to breathe, I'm going to move it, I'm going to create space so that then there is a capacity
for our body to them feel safe enough to go into this relaxation state, into that restoration state.
And one of the things that I often say is like, we don't want to live just in person pathetic,
like we just need a rhythm to move from one to another to self-regulate that's our capacity.
So it's how to do this and again comes back to education. We mostly don't know about this. Until
I started to practice meditation and until then I wanted my studies in neuroscience, I didn't
know this stuff and the people around me don't know this stuff. So of course, we're not doing anything
about it. Yeah, exactly. And we need to be in a sympathetic. That's how you get things done,
everyone. Like it's okay, it's okay to get things done, but you can stay in sympathetic with an
open mind and a free mind. You have to, and that's the trick is to learn to get things down and be,
be productive without stepping on people's and without hurting people without, like,
you know, and that's training the brain, that is literally training the brain. So always be thinking,
"Am I in confined state or am I in free state?" And if we're not in free, then recheck things,
because I can be in free state and a thousand things done. I can. But I can also be in confined
and get a thousand things done. And I don't want to be in confined and get a thousand things done.
Yes, I'm not as nice. And so yeah, I think that's great. I think it's wonderful. And it's
one when people realize that, that their mind and not just their body goes into sands or pans. And
And we can switch from pans, you know, from sans to pans.
We can make that choice.
Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait.
I'm freaking out here.
Don't go talk to that woman.
Don't go do that.
Let's just take a couple deep breaths, calm down,
do some meditation, do some tapping, and move on.
So we all have the power.
We really do.
I think people, where we've been taught since we were young
to rely on someone else to teach you about religion
and someone else to teach you about the body
and someone else to teach you about history,
which is always rewritten by whoever wins the wars,
by the way, so don't believe any of your history books.
Anyhow, and we were taught to believe this person
about politics, and we're just always taught to look outside
of our own families.
And that's not how I raised my children,
because I wanted my children to realize that they could find
answers for themselves as well.
And because I was raised to believe the doctor, believe the
politician, believe the religious leader, believe that
they all know best for me.
And I don't believe that at all anymore.
So I believe I know what's best for me.
I love listening, and I love learning,
and I love washing documentaries, and I love all of it.
But if you don't put it in, then it can't come out.
So the more education we get, which is not,
you don't get education in watching the news.
You just don't, everybody.
You get opinions watching the news.
That's not education.
It can be fun.
But a lot of us are not education.
So just kind of look, are you listening for opinions
right now so you can justify what your thoughts are?
Or are we listening to, are we going to educated?
So we can further develop our own beliefs.
I honestly, and I teach this a lot right now, that there's
two mindsets.
There's a scientific mind, and then there's a closed mind.
However, the more I've been teaching this, the more I
realize the scientific mind is not an open mind.
Often anymore, it used to be a real scientist,
especially in physics, they know that you don't know nothing.
They know there's so much to learn.
There is no absolute truth, so forget that.
There's a way to prove gravity's even wrong.
Come on, get over it, guys.
There is no absolute truth.
If you think there's an absolute truth,
you don't have an open mind, then you have a closed mind.
No, it's this person, or I mean, we don't know.
And so having that closed mind, well, then we're done.
We don't have to learn.
We can just get opinions that justify our closed mind.
But an open mind is like, now wait a minute.
Is that how atoms work?
And I want to share with you, again, something really cool,
because two of my children are quantum physicists.
We talked a lot about science growing up,
because I loved the body of love science.
And so they both-- and it was my twins, actually.
They both went into physics, and they both loved it.
And one of the things they loved the most,
and it was like the first year they were in physics,
because it's that easy to understand.
Besides rocket science, by the way, it's actually very easy.
But they were taken to a special location.
There's only a few of these in America.
I didn't know where else they are.
But it was where they studied atoms.
And they said when they got there,
there were concrete slabs that were
separated in this building.
And each one of the rooms was glass,
and it had atoms, like sustained in this separated crystal
that you didn't have, you know, just electrical magnetic
frequencies going to the bottom, you know,
through the earth running.
And then they were separated in groups.
And they were told, OK, group A, I want you to tell me,
that Mr. Professor here, what's going to happen
if you introduce this substrate into this atomic field?
Oh, and they get busy at it, you know,
and they'd have a reason, they'd have a result.
And then group B would have a result,
and group C would have a result.
And then the first group would go in,
and they'd introduce that substrate into the atomic field,
and exactly what they thought was going to happen happened.
And they're like, oh my gosh, right, it was so cool.
They would leave, group B would come in,
they'd introduce a substrate to the atomic field,
and it would do exactly what group B thought it was going to do.
Group C, exactly what they thought.
All of them had different results.
Every one of them was different.
Why?
Because the atom is bonded to what your belief was
before anything else.
And so the atom, so if you're waking up every morning,
going, oh, I'm still not going to get a paycheck.
I've been doing this business for six years now.
Oh, guess what?
I ain't going to get an all paycheck.
Or if you're going to be waking up, going to be in our crappy day,
man, if that person shows up, I'm just going to beat him.
Or I'm okay, you know, if you're going to wake up every day,
be miserable, you're creating your own reality.
If you want to put a little disclosure in here,
I understand abuse because I live with it for a long time.
And so not with my family, my parents are amazing,
but with my first husband.
And so I understand that sometimes you
can't think your way out of something.
So I just, for those of you who are in a situation
that you've not gotten free from yet, number one,
much easier to get away from all of that right now
than ever before, right?
It shouldn't take you 11 years like it took me.
So like now there are shelters.
There's people you can talk to, like it's everywhere.
So get out.
But if you can't yet, I understand that.
But for everybody else.
And even those of you who are stuck in that,
hello, I had to get through all of that, right?
I had to ignore what was being told to me or done to me
because I'm still raising children.
And so I had to have a happy attitude
and I loved being positive.
And I swear that's what saved me and my kids.
And so you literally can think your way out
of a lot of miserable situations with your thoughts.
And so put your thoughts in a free state
even if you're confined.
That's the, is that this doesn't have to believe
and do everything that's being done to the body.
And how, tip of my tongue, tip of my tongue, you might know
because you've studied a lot of this as well.
The gentleman who was held captive for like 13 or 15 years.
And then he said that was the best time of his life
when he came out of that because he was able to go inward.
He's written books and spoken all over the world.
But he was a prisoner of war for over a decade.
I believe it's over a decade.
He's written books on it, tip of my tongue.
I can't think of his name.
But he went inward.
And he was like, I had to keep working on this
even though the rest of me was being beaten
and starved and confined, I still could keep control.
And I was like, that's always been so inspirational to me
because I just think sometimes people
keep relying on the outside world.
They rely on the roofish leader.
They rely on the doctor.
They rely on their parents.
They rely on their spouse or their kids
or somebody outside the newscaster, right?
Oh, that day isn't over.
And the new day has begun, the new day of relying on you
and the power in your mind and in your heart,
which actually is more powerful than your brain, by the way.
Anyhow, but that power that you have to create space
that welcomes others, including yourself,
the power you have to wake up in the morning and be happy
by simply smiling and changing how that myelin's sheet
is being generated, super, super powerful.
We have so much power.
No, you probably don't even want to hear me talking about this.
Could you talk about it all the time?
Yeah, but we still need to keep on talking about it
for two reasons.
One is because we need more of this information
to repeat the same information when you need more of it,
but also because different people will respond
to different energies.
So some people will respond to you saying this versus me saying
this or any of my other guests that I had
three years in the public house because, as you're saying,
there's an energetic part of all of this
and some people will resonate with someone
and some people will resonate with someone else
and there is something really powerful about that
and that is one of the reasons why for me.
I don't get attached to people that don't like what I'm saying.
It's like, well, my message is not for them.
This is not the way that they need to hear the change
and I think that there is something really powerful.
I remember I was living in the US for a few years
in Etibetan Buddhist retreat center
in the mail of the mountain in California
and one of the things that was really powerful there
was learning a lot about questioning,
about going in, about understanding, you know,
like I can use other people's perceptions or perspectives
but at the end of the day, I have the answers,
as you were saying, and I need to reclaim that power
that we have been conditioned, as you were saying,
to give away to others.
I need to reclaim that power and we can all do that.
Yes, as you're saying, there are circumstances
through trauma, through conditioning, through mechanisms,
circumstances that are more challenging than others.
Yes, that doesn't make it so that if we're able to train
our retrain our minds for well-being,
we train our minds for freedom,
we train our minds and through that ourselves in the body
to create a belief of what life is,
then our life will be created differently.
And yes, sometimes that takes time,
sometimes that takes support from some other people,
you know, like I was just working with some clients
that, you know, one of them was like, I know this
I'm like, yes, you do, that you just needed to come
and to work together to realize it,
something that you already know,
like this is something that I often say to people,
you know, they come to see me a lot of times for healing
and I'm like, cool, I'm not healing you,
you're healing yourself, I'm just facilitating that.
And I think that for me, that's part of giving them
a way to reclaim their own power
because, as you're saying, like, we have been given that away,
and I think that that is so important,
that more and more we do that,
because as well a lot of times, you know, like,
we are, and I see this both for our, you know, like,
part of my life and for many. We are always trying to catch up instead of building
lifestyle and supporting and doing what I call the preventative approach. You know,
it's like a lot of times it's like I have this problem. Now we need to do something about it. It's
like how about we, you know, educate and raise children with all of this knowing so that then
they can make choices that are very different than the I have diabetes. I have a concert. I have
this and now I need to reverse that. Amen. Yes, yes, yes. And I think we also don't realize the power
we have on those around us and on the world. I don't know if you've had anybody come on and talk
about how when large groups of people meditate or pray, we can literally change the vibrational
frequency of our cities, communities and change the sunspots period. But you can actually do that as
an individual and there have been many cities done that when individuals learn to vibrate as
specific frequencies like peace, they would take these peacemakers and they were called and they
would put a peacemaker in a high rise and a very busy, you know, busy metropolis community.
And they would have them feel the frequency of peace from, you know, for one hour, two hours,
and it was during the busiest crime season and time. So our police forces and our protectors
of our communities, they know when they have a lot of crime because that's when they have more
people on the clock. And they were able to document that when these peacemakers were vibrating with
these frequencies, that there was far less crime and all of these communities a hundred percent of
the time. It was one percent. All of us have heard and washed in mind the horrific, horrific things
that are happening in Palestine and Gaza. We've seen it, we've seen what happened during COVID
to our countrymen in your country and Australia all over the world, right? We've seen what countries
have done. We see, we see what poor or horrible choices that certainly just have made.
I don't think people realize the power we have to help those people. And so when we raise our own
frequency, we raise the frequency of everyone around us. And if enough of us are doing that,
is going to help raise the vibrational frequency and give that little edge to someone you don't
even know. And I know it's hard to comprehend that, but you can just know that it works because
the crime meters in those cities all went down, all went down. Some cities, no crime for an hour.
Well, how'd that happen? It was one person sitting up there in a hotel. That's it, vibrating
by a glass window. Think of the power we have to help those we don't know and those we don't see.
But at the same time, think of the power you have to destroy their lives. So with the hate and
the anger and the division, that is often put on us from both sides. I don't go to anyone's
one party anymore. I've always been more conservative just because it's more family-oriented and it's
just how I've lived my life and I love God. But in America, God be careful in all this. But anyhow,
so, but what we do is we have influence around those people. And if we're angry and we're mad
at the people because our skin colors different or blah, blah, blah, all that stupid stuff that people
try to divide us over, they're not ever going to feel your love because how can anyone you're judging
feel your love? So if you're judging someone because their pants are down behind their book
while they're walking and they look silly, or you're judging some girl because her shorts aren't
as, you know, they're too short for what you would wear, all the judgment that we put out towards
others, they're never going to feel our love. Well, what are you doing for humanity? Like,
get over it. Like, who are you to be judging people? You don't know where they've come from. You
don't know how their life has been. I had an aunt who was a nudist and she was in California,
but she was a nudist because she was a Jew and she was taken into one of the camps. And I know,
there's lots of controversy on all that, but she was definitely in one of the camps and her
mother was taken and killed and so were her grandparents and her brothers and her body is what saved
her life. So people could see her and go, oh my gosh, that ridiculous woman. But for her,
she was like, this is what saved my life. She didn't lock her own town nude, but she did in her
home, which was always very interesting, but anyhow, but it's one of those, we don't know people's
life stories. And so the judgment that we so easily be set on people is something that then
they're not going to feel your love. And so when you go to the grocery store, just try not to
judge people and don't cut them off all the time when you're driving and just try today to judge
less, just try to date and judge less and love more. And I just think all of humanity would
appreciate from all of us because we are all guilty. We're all guilty. And I think that, you know,
like that as you're saying, I think that that is, comes a lot from understanding and as well from
medication, because the more that I learned about trauma, the more that I learned about different
life experiences, the more that I, you know, traveled and lived in different countries and have
worked for the years with so many different clients, with so many different backgrounds and
experiences and circumstances. I'm able to have much more compassion and understanding and
not go to that place of judgment because like actually like a lot of times and, you know, I had
conversations with people that they're like, ah, that person was an asshole and I'm like,
you know, what might have happened to that person to say that? What might have happened to that person
to act that way? And I just catch myself like, ah, wow, like, there's something, I'm not always,
you know, like, I'm not perfect. But like, but a lot of times just that knowledge and, you know,
makes it so that I can have that open mind and to be able to question my own judgment.
And just catch myself faster and faster so that I don't put, as you're saying, that energy
into the space because that energy has a ripple effect and we can create a more harmonious or more
this more, this, this harmonious like energy. We can choose what to do both internally and externally.
So I think that, you know, the more that we are aware, like that, that for me is one of the things
that I tell a lot of times to people, especially when I go to teach about mindfulness meditation
or about believing more consciously, I often say, this is all about developing more and more awareness.
The more that we're able to develop awareness, the more that we're more present,
the easier everything becomes. Like that is the foundation. And then, yes, we can understand,
based on our own circumstances, what's on what happened, what are the things that we might need
to do more of or less of, but in general, just developing more awareness.
Yes, that's beautiful. Yep, very beautiful because what you put out, you bring in, it's that simple.
If you want to get more love in your life, start loving more people.
Perry, you know, if you want to get more trash in your life, start talking trash about more people.
I don't, I mean, it really is like what we get, it's, it's something I know you're talking about,
we all talk about, but sometimes it's just make, you wake up one day, it's like, oh my gosh,
that makes sense, you know, it makes sense. And that's the same with food. I'm a big foodie, you guys.
So the more living food you eat, the more alive you're going to feel. I had given a big
presentation one time and it was, and actually it was all men that were at this big presentation.
I had been asked to come and speak privately and to this big corporation. And so I had fun with it,
you know, talked about the prostate and talked about mental, you know, and ED and old things you
talk about with one shaman, you know, that are own business suits, by the way. So by whatever.
Anyhow, afterwards someone said, like, how do you get all that energy? And I was like, I eat it,
like I eat my energy because I eat bio photons. Those are particles of light. And they come from
the sun in living food. That's where you get it. You know, I'm not going to have a lot of energy
eating about dead, dead food all the time. Like we also need to incorporate living food. And so
look at the food you're eating every day. Are you eating more living food than food? And I'd
highly recommend that. You know, I'd recommend that. And you know, what are you bathing yourselves in?
Are you waking up and drinking coffee right away? Because that's mold and that's toxin. That's acid.
Woo, yeah. Cup of acid. I don't mind if you have some coffee, but at least realize you need to drink
two cups of water for every cup of coffee. And that's not the first thing you want to put into your
body. You want to put water, right? You want to put water because your cells are floating in water.
You have a lazy river on your skin. So really consider what are you eating? And I've made a lot
of, I'm a graph of fanatic, but we're talking about this. I think I just want to quickly share.
I created a chart, all my frequency chart is in my book. But I actually studied the frequencies
of emotions and the frequencies of foods. And I did that for several several years. And then I
combined all of my findings from military groups and different schools around the world of what
they found. And it was really interesting because the highest frequencies are like serenity and
unconditional love. And unconditional love is there's no conditions. You love them even if
they're socks are on the floor. And even if they don't close the shower curtain, all the stupid
things you find to get annoyed about. And so they're that high frequency. And then the highest
frequency foods were like, you know, roses and organic herbs and essential oils.
who sprouts, and it was interesting as I went through and created the chart that I just
showed you. When I was done, I colored coded it, and the coolest thing happened, Brian.
The people who had those really low frequency thoughts, like despair, regret, well, the lowest
emotions are resentment when people resent something, hostility, hopeless, worthless,
they blame, right? They regret, they have despair. They're the ones eating the lowest
frequency food, and the lowest frequency food, alter low frequency is canola oil, cotton
seed, margarine, and vegetable oils, processed package canned, and fast foods, pasteurizing
yogurt, ice cream, and cheese, deep fried, or microd foods, coffee, and soda, as white flour,
white brown, and processed sugars, and corn syrup, and artificial sweeteners, those don't
have any vibrational frequency. They're just terrible. They're just dead. And the people
who eat those foods feel that way. Well, we're the more living food we eat, we literally
do raise our frequency. So you can raise the frequency just by changing your diet. I tell
people, well, by pineapples, and I don't care if you never eat them. They're cheap. Go
buy some pineapples and put them in your kitchen and look at them, but they're going to raise
the frequency of your house, right? They're alive, and it's a pineapple or roses or something.
And it's kind of cool because it takes roses to people who are sick. I don't think people
realize that you can measure the angstroms of a human being in the hospital. You can put roses
in that hospital room and come back a few hours later and measure the angstroms, and that
Hurtin has already started to heal. It raised the frequency of the person by just putting roses
in the room. I just think people don't realize there's so much power in our surroundings,
the people that we surround ourselves with, the thoughts that we have, the food that we eat.
It's just exciting, really. It's that it's knowing. It's knowing that possibility, and that it's
one of the most powerful things, because now everybody that is listening to this, now they know
that, and now they have a choice. They can choose to continue doing what they're doing,
or to do something different. Yes, it might not be perfect, and that's not what we are saying. It's
just try. Try what happens if you eat those probes. Try to see what happens if you go on,
eat something that is harvested in the moment. What happens with that? That's what I was saying.
I got that story from the greens from my gardens. Yes, they test different, because as you're
saying, there's full of potions. The electricity is still there. It's alive. I just got it,
and we ate it within the hour. When I do my food, most of the day is here. It's a few minutes
after I harvested it. It's just a very different experience in that. I could talk to you
for hours and hours and hours, but I'm aware of our time. For anybody that is listening to you,
and that is resonating with you or wanting to know more, what can they find you, what can they do?
Sure. While they can go visit Zuzu Unleashed, Zuzu Unleashed is just the website we have
is the landing page, and we are actually developing quite a bit more now in social media. I've
never done a whole lot with that. I have a huge email list. I do a lot with that, but we really
are coming into that space, so it's been really exciting. You'll see a bunch of links. I put together
some mini courses on cancer and pots and diabetes, things like that, so that if you're looking to
get more educated, but if we do, we are always looking for more educators. We add holistic health
educators. We are growing by leaps and bounds. It is incredible how many students we have joining
our school right now, and we need you, because the communities around you are looking for
holistic practitioners. They really are. Our holistic health care practitioner program is like a
natural about the doctor degree. We just chose not to use the word doctor because in many countries
in the states, you can't claim that anyways, and so we do practitioner. It is incredible to learn
the labs and learn how to help people from the beginning when they walk in through helping them
through something major. It is wonderful. We love working with the doctors and our communities,
our open to this. It has been just amazing to see the worlds come together, so they can find pretty
much everything at zoosuunleashed.com, and that's it. You'll find me a lot more on social media,
because I have a whole team trying to get me out there every day on Instagram, so I'm excited
to see what happens, so. Beautiful, beautiful. For everybody that is watching and listening,
we'll have as well that on the show links, so that it's easy to access. For everybody listening,
what did you hear? What did you learn? What resonated with you? Did you know some of the things that
we've been talking about? Is there something new? Something that you want to know more of? Let us know
anywhere that you're finding this episode. Thank you, zoosu, so much for taking the time and for the
work that you're doing. Well, and thank you, Brian. Really, thank you for all that you're doing,
and your gentle, beautiful spirit. It is wonderful. You're wonderful, human. Glad to have you in
mind. Thank you, thank you. I think you're ready for watching and listening to us, and we'll see you

Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Zuzu shares her journey of reversing health conditions like epilepsy and scoliosis through natural, holistic methods, emphasizing that the body has innate healing capabilities.
She highlights the importance of diet, specifically nutrient-dense, organic, and living foods, as a key factor in reversing illness and raising personal vibrational frequency.
The nervous system’s shift between sympathetic (stress) and parasympathetic (rest) states is central to mental and physical well-being, with deep breathing, smiling, and questioning as effective tools to transition.
She argues that mainstream medicine and education often omit vital information, and that individuals must take responsibility for their health by seeking holistic, science-backed alternatives.
Emotional and environmental frequency—shaped by thoughts, diet, and surroundings—directly influences health, with positive emotions like unconditional love and living foods raising overall well-being.
Education on personal agency, trauma, and self-awareness empowers people to break cycles of judgment, suffering, and dependency on external authorities.
Collective actions, like meditation or peaceful presence, can reduce crime and improve community vibrational energy, showing individual power to influence society.
Zuzu calls for a shift from reactive healing to preventative, conscious living, where people reclaim their power through self-knowledge, education, and intentional daily choices.
Summary:
FAQs
The podcast emphasizes that deeper connections with ourselves, others, and the environment lead to conscious action and positive change. It promotes awareness, education, and personal responsibility in creating a healthier, more compassionate world.
Zuzu believes that nutrient-dense, living foods like organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs support the body's natural healing processes. She claims that processed foods, especially those high in sugar and chemicals, lower the body's vibrational frequency and contribute to illness.
The body alternates between sympathetic (fight-or-flight) and parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) states. Chronic stress keeps people in a sympathetic state, leading to poor health, irritability, and difficulty with focus or sleep.
The podcast recommends practices like deep breathing, smiling, asking questions, taking walks, and using tapping or meditation to shift from a stressed state to a calm, grounded state of mind.
Raising one's frequency means increasing positive emotional states like love and serenity. This, she says, can improve personal health, reduce inflammation, and create more harmonious relationships by reducing judgment and hate.
Zuzu believes that true empowerment comes from self-education—learning about the body, mind, food, and nature—so individuals can make informed choices instead of relying on external authority figures like doctors or politicians.
