I'm not gonna do it this time I hope the audio comes through on this one well I'm in a rental car in LA and I think my phone is hooked up to car play Which whatever Lens pinball pinball podcasts the only pinball podcasts. It's always over in under three minutes This one might be maybe it will you never know I only record the thing one one time only once Because that's That's the thing that I said the first time Did the podcast I learned record at one time it's about three things Madagascar old He's got three legs. He's adorable A very nice gal is watching him while I'm in LA Second thing the podcast is about it's about pinball third thing the podcast is about Gortley the humanoid pickle. He's the mascot of Lens pinball He's Dylan the pickles cousin Don't the pickles the mascot of the Portland pickles baseball team. They are the minor league baseball team that lives in my neighborhood Where I've got this little pinball business It's at Lens Portland pickles living Lens and Dylan and Gortley the related Gortley is a professional skateboarder and It's all wonderful. It's all pretty cool I'm in LA working on a gubernatorial campaign It's get out the vote weekend and I'm here I'm hoping to shut down a bunch of projects that have been running since January and so while I help run a project And maybe like another project I'm helping with two you I'm kind of helping with three projects But I'm running one project and closing down a bunch of stuff at the same time and helping to move out of office spaces so I Just Donated a bunch of office furniture to a place that's right next door to revenge of and they have awesome pinball machines So I got to play pinball Just one quick game of Pokemon Ellie, but it was my first time playing Pokemon Ellie. Oh, it's dope. Oh, it's super dope I don't understand what's different to the premium other than the mirrored back glass and It's limited and the color. I mean, that's a lot of things that are different But a lot of times the Ellie's have like some kind of special thing This one didn't seem like it. I was nudging and I got busted by an employee very nice person I apologize and then I apologize again after I introduced myself And set your games play great and this place is fucking cool part of my language. It is really cool I went in there for 10 minutes yesterday In between work tasks and then just popped in for 10 minutes today After dropping off I donated a bunch of tables to this place across the street. That's really cool. Their business model is structured just like death lips Any profits that come in go to their partnering nonprofit and I talked to the manager there about the death lip stuff that I do She was super stoked and a little bit interested and has some artists that work for I wasn't pitching her She started pitching me about them getting involved with getting involved which I thought was kind of cool But yeah, it's this bridge something thrift store So it's a thrift store that takes donations and then the profits go to nonprofits and I think they also pay their employees Well and have help benefits and stuff like that so Very neat, but I got to pop into revenge of and I'm definitely doing I have to do three more car loads of donations I'm gonna pop in again, and again. I played Winchester Winchester haunted Whatever it's cool. I think it's pretty cool. I was more drawn to the Pokemon Ellie. I got the number one score Yesterday when I popped in for a game and I just popped in for a game and did like almost 600 But did not get on the board I did catch some Pokemon that when I lay that felt good and some Pokemon that I didn't have yet I wonder if the Pokemon's are set up geographically to Give you different Pokemon when you're in different cities that'd be kind of cool I Number one score seven hundred something and the GC's like seven sixty and if I could have a good Charizard Mode I've played it probably 15 times maybe 20 times probably more I played it a bunch I get to it every game now. It's not that crazy hard to get to I just never do anything with it like that with double scoring and completion I need to slow the heck down and Get my focus on and actually like Freak and do it because that would be huge. I did 900 something on a pro the other day Which felt really good I wasn't on insider connective work, but I definitely got a Billy in me. So I'm trying to do that I'm gonna play some more of the Winchester mystery mansion haunted house mansion mystery Whatever it's called. It's pretty cool. It's really pretty The both times that I've gone in there's been somebody on it But I got one game in and thought it was neat didn't have a good game. Thought it was neat. I need to Go there when I'm not working spending an hour on it. That'd be fun I'm what else is going on Portland pickle season started So there are a lot of people playing my pinball games and right when I landed in California, I got a message from one of the guys who works at the Zed and he's like hey beat the clock's not working Which could mean that beat the clock's not working. It also could mean that somebody had a quarter get eaten And they turned it off like that happens a lot and it's like oh Just pump a bunch of quarters in so if anybody hears this and is close and can pop in And see if They can pump some quarters in the beat the clock and it works Awesome if it doesn't work. I'll give you your money back. Um Okay, well that's it summertime. I'm stoked I'm in LA until Tuesday until election day um And oh the last thing pinball the last pinball thing. I'm also Fucking hell do you traffic your sucks. I'm selling a bunch of stuff I'm clear my goal is to clear out my storage unit. I've got that goal right now I'm gonna have 10 games in my little house slash pinball school slash museum They got busted for zoning. I'll talk more about that and what I'm doing next with it I'm gonna do Games at beer bunker still and games at the boy in LA, but I've got 25 30 games in storage. I have to clear it out Most of them work some of them are projects, but I'm selling a bunch of stuff freefall I'm pretty sure is already sold Paragon sold the miggy. What's up, miggy? um I think I gave miggy a scream in deal um I don't know if I should talk about the details of miggy pings. I mean it says you can talk about the details I'm pretty sure it's a screaming deal. I wonder what other people think um What else did I sell? Jurassic Park lost world is selling next week right when I get back High roller casinos on the chopping block if anybody wants a nice high roller casino I love that game. I probably should keep it, but um I don't want to I have too much stuff and I want uh I scaled up too much and I need to chill I need to scale back and I especially need to scale back on solid state games and EMs and stop having to work on stuff all the time like beat the clocks uh coin jam thing kills me with a full-time job and then having a game down and I feel like I'm pissing off the location I feel like the players don't like it. I don't want to have stuff that works mostly anymore. So I want to I guess I'm saying I want to do better um Which is on me for sure. I need to put more time in but sometimes I'm just freaking slammed and like running around like a maniac and I don't do it to make money So sell a bunch of stuff scale back a little bit This is a part of retooling death lip too like I think I need to retool everything a little bit And chill out a little bit like I own 60 games and I think I have 30 on location right now I'd still be happy if I had 20 on location uh I'd be happy if I had 10 on location I'm a crazy person and Lenspinball hit the two-year anniversary of being Lenspinball last week and I'm about to hit my three-year anniversary of sobriety which is super cool and exciting I got a piece of paper in the mail the other day that was like uh I never mind we won't talk about that piece of paper. Maybe we will win then uh But I got all this good stuff happening and I'm healthy and I create all this extra stuff for myself that I don't need to and so I'm gonna chill a little bit and also it'll be nice to have Like I've got 25 games and storage that I've been like rotating in which is neat But it'd be kind of cool to have 25 games in storage worth the money and. I don't know. I drive around a stupid van. Like I should have a real car too. Maybe I buy a real car too. Nothing fancy, a little truck, a little Toyota Tacoma, maybe cute. Alright I gotta go. This podcast is way too long already. I'm in LA, gubernatorial race, it's close and it's cool to make an impact on one. I've got a giant group of staff here. I'm gonna take everybody out to do some pitball stuff and teach pitball a little bit. And I'm gonna try and squeeze in a tournament on Monday. There's a thing I think at 82. Maybe it's at Tuesday.
