The podcast blends humor and criticism in a satirical critique of comedian Carlos Herrera’s behavior, particularly around his handling of personal boundaries and guest interactions during tours. The narrative centers on incidents where he invites unverified strangers to dinner and allows them backstage without proper screening, leading to concerns about safety and respect. These actions are framed as part of a growing pattern of poor judgment, likened to a “vine of gripes” that expands over time. The hosts use these incidents to discuss accountability, emotional boundaries, and the importance of self-awareness in personal and professional relationships. Throughout, the episode promotes various brands—State Farm, Acorns, Warby Parker, and Talk Space—offering financial advice, wellness solutions, and mental health support. These endorsements are woven into the conversation in a light-hearted, relatable way, emphasizing accessible and affordable services for everyday life. The tone remains playful, using satire and personal anecdotes to examine both performance and personal conduct, ultimately highlighting themes of growth, accountability, and self-improvement in the face of criticism.

Congratulations to Arsenal.
Congratulations to Arsenal winning
The Premier League after 22 years of trying.
I saw a picture of a guy who went with his nan.
Nan?
There he is.
He was with his nan.
Oh, I thought it was Indian bread that he was bringing.
Arsenal fan takes a photo with his nan.
Yeah, I saw that one.
Two title wins.
Yep.
A gooner for life, you must be.
Yeah, and I have to say, I know the fans are sick of it.
I went to Canada this weekend.
How was Canada?
You were in Toronto.
It went off without a hitch.
No hitches at all.
Yeah.
Now tell me.
Yeah.
It sounds, just tonally, it sounds like there were some hitches.
There's two hitches.
There's two hitches.
I don't know if the fans will listen to it all the time.
I think the fans would enjoy my hitches.
A couple of hitches.
There was three, but the third one I can let go.
I'd like to hear all three.
No, no, no.
The third one isn't as strong as the first two.
The third one I could let go.
The first two.
What are you doing?
I'm lowering up.
All right.
Oh, he's lawyering up.
Oh, you're lowering up.
All right.
So what I want to say to you, Carlos, is that I love you.
You're improving every week.
I'll tell you where the improvements are coming.
Hell yeah.
Every time he approaches me, he puts a Mentos in his mouth.
Literally true.
Literally true.
Literally true.
Every time, a new Mentos in his mouth, and I'm like, that's growth.
That's growth.
You know, I'm going to get the bill for-
He was spraying cologne a little bit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He sprays cologne over his face.
He approaches me.
I'm going to get the bill.
I'm going to get the bill for bad at the end of the month, and it's going to be Mentos.
It's going to be 30 grand in Mentos.
I know, I know, I know.
So that's an improvement.
There's some things that he's done and said that were kind of bothersome to me.
Backhanded?
Not backhanded.
Just an observation.
Interesting.
Interesting.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I'm going to say the first two, and then I don't want any arguments.
So write it down if you have any arguments.
Yeah, you told me I couldn't talk.
Yeah, so I'm going to do the first two without any-
Without any interruption from you, right?
And go get a piece of paper and a pen, and I will not allow you to even say a word, okay?
And it's just interesting little thing, tidbits of something that-
All right, so are you ready, Carlos?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, where are you?
I just have to get my jewel.
Yeah, go get your jewel.
Yeah, yeah.
One jewel per gripe.
You get to huff one big hit per gripe.
The first one, I don't know why it bothered me.
It probably wouldn't have bothered you, but it bothered me.
Okay.
Okay, so I have Carlos go up on stage.
Stop.
I did see photos of that.
Yeah, yeah.
He goes up on stage, and he needs to say two things, which are, please no heckling.
And put away your phone.
And put away your phones, because Bobby has a special coming out, and we don't want anyone videoing it.
Simple request.
Yeah, right.
So, and while he's doing it, I'm on the God mic, which is the mic offstage, and I'm making the crowd laugh, like, hurry up.
You know what I mean?
Boring.
Stuff like that.
That's great.
More energy.
Classic shit.
All right, all right.
Classic shit.
On the second show in Toronto, he gets up and starts giggling.
He gets up and starts giggling, like, right?
He looks me right in the eyes, and he goes, I feel like Robin Williams.
I feel like Robin Williams.
Now, what do you think you have in common with Robin Williams?
No, no, he doesn't get to.
Oh, sorry.
You want to do it now, or?
No.
I'll go bit to bit.
We'll go bit to bit.
So, let him.
I think you rebut.
You rebut now.
Let's do a rebuttal.
Yeah, let's do a rebuttal.
Did you not say that?
I did say that.
I was feeling it so hard.
I was high as hell getting offstage, and I was proud of myself for killing it for my boss.
Yeah.
It was more like, I feel like Hannah Gatsby.
Yeah, you're the old lady, and I'm her.
No, no, you.
Oh, good attack.
Good attack.
Good attack.
Good attack.
It's a good show.
Very good talk.
I believe you crush the cold open.
Like Robin Williams.
I do well.
Okay.
He did not.
God laughed.
The laughs were from me.
No, no, no.
Not all of them.
They were from me as well.
Okay.
I mean, does it bother?
I couldn't think of an analogy.
I think maybe I thought of the feeling.
Can I give you just an analogy?
Let's say I'm a construction worker, right?
And I'm working on a home.
Yeah.
One day, I invite my son.
My son's 15 years old.
Come to work with me, son.
Right?
And I'm putting in a nail.
Right?
And the last bit, I go, son, come over here.
Grab the hammer.
He does the last bit.
The son does.
Yeah.
Then looks at his dad and goes, I built a house.
Right.
That's the feeling.
I built a house.
No, you put a little piece of nail in.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're not Robin Williams.
Right.
Yeah.
I didn't feel.
He didn't feel.
I bet you money.
I bet you money that if Robin Williams is still alive, right?
That feeling that you had, he never has.
Oh, that cocky feeling.
Yeah.
It's not even remotely.
I mean, give me your.
I would.
So you said, would it make me mad?
No.
And I'll tell you why.
Why?
Oh, good.
I like this.
I want to calm down.
Yes, please.
Because I would have never let him go on stage.
I know.
Andrew, you'd have been psyched for me.
I know, but.
I would have been happy for you.
Yeah, but if he said that to you, what would be your reaction?
I'd have bring him back on stage.
I'd have gone, Robin Williams, guys, everybody, give it back up.
Yeah, have him do another 10.
Another 10.
Yeah.
On his own.
I was manic like you were at dinner.
Gripe two.
Well, I'll tell you why.
That's the gripe two.
And do not say anything before.
I'm a whore.
Okay.
Write it down.
Okay.
Here's my gripe two.
So, well, there's a couple of gripes, but there's actually more gripes now, but.
The gripes are growing.
Yeah, gripes always grow.
Like grapes.
The gripes, they grow.
Yeah, like grapes.
It's a vine of gripes.
Yeah, it's a vine of gripes.
But I'm going to say one gripe.
Okay.
So, after the second show, what does one do?
After a show.
You go to eat.
You're so smart.
You have to go eat.
You're so fucking smart.
You're hungry.
You're tired.
That's why I'm here with you.
You worked very hard.
Dude, you're so fucking smart.
Where did you go to eat?
We went to this hot pot place we really liked.
So, we're walking there and there's a gigantic Indian slash Turkish man with us.
Okay.
Security.
No, I've never seen him before in my life.
Who is the man?
I don't know his name.
There was another, his cousin was with him too or some friend.
Yeah.
I think his name is Haroon.
Haroon.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, stop.
I said, don't say anything until I'm done.
I'm just luring up.
Get your lawyers and go to your council and whatever you need to do.
All right?
I'm Carlos Cox.
All right.
We're at dinner, right?
And these guys are with us.
Just sitting at dinner.
Eating a meal.
That I'm paying for, yeah.
Did they introduce themselves to you at all?
The big guy did not, no.
All right, so, and the other guy, I only know his name.
Because during dinner, I go, what's your name?
And he goes, Haroon.
Haroon.
Right?
So, I turn to Carlos when they're both gone.
They're at the sauce.
Sauce bar.
Bar, section.
Sauce bar, yeah.
So, they're away and I go, who the fuck is this guy?
And this guy, Carlos goes, oh, that's Akash's brother.
Haroon Singh.
Yeah, Akash Singh, right?
Do you remember this?
When I looked at him and I went, what was it like?
You know, I mean, hang out with.
Growing up with Akash.
And he goes, oh, I've only met him a couple of times in Toronto.
He did not say that.
Yes, he did.
Your honor.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He did not say that.
Who is he?
Who is he?
Let me ask you this.
Was he his brother?
Look at my.
Was he his brother?
He was not, your honor.
Your honor, I point to evidence.
Exhibit A.
Well, let me read this.
Hassan Salimi says, hey, man, gonna talk to Bob tonight when we get off the plane.
Salimi Singh.
Salimi Singh.
Yeah, they're different last names.
Very different.
Very different.
Very different.
Very different.
You told me that he was his brother.
Yeah, but in the Middle East, they do weird things with their names.
You never know.
Hold on.
It says here, Carlos said, hey, man, gonna talk to Bob tonight when we get off the plane.
Things have dot, dot, dot.
And Hassan says, LOL, week to week, we live one day at a time.
Now, I don't know if that is a Muslim thing, but I don't know what that is.
It's a AA thing.
It is.
Yeah.
And he said, tell him Akash Singh bigger, but younger brother is here to make sure he's
good when he's here.
Okay.
So, when I asked him, are you his brother?
He goes, when he comes to Toronto, I come to his shows.
So, I just want to tell anyone out there when I'm on tour from now on, if you're a serial
killer, if you're on the FBI's most wanted list, just come to dinner.
Talk to Carlos.
I know they never caught the Zodiac killer, but if you're in town, just come to dinner.
Anyone come to dinner.
Come on to dinner.
Come on to dinner.
Lie.
Your honor, your honor.
Yeah, yeah.
He liked himself.
so much, he got a ride.
to the Ritz Carlton.
No, no, I got a ride
because I didn't want to be in the car with you.
Because I told you to take a chill pill
because you were being manic at dinner.
Yeah, because I'm with people there
that aren't supposed to be there.
I mean, if you have issues with standing up
and like with boundaries
and telling people who can and cannot come to dinner.
That's your job.
But you should whisper that to me before we go.
Andrew would have no problem with telling them.
Hold on, hold on.
Don't throw me under the bus.
I am simply waiting for my ride.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Don't push me in front of your ride.
So wait, get back to the DM.
Let's go back to the DM.
We go back to the DM.
Because what I would interpret this as,
if I'm Carlos and he says,
tell him Akash Singh bigger,
but younger brother is here.
My immediate reaction would be,
you're related to Akash?
You're right, your honor.
That's a question I could have asked.
But instead you said.
Oh, I know Akash.
We love AK.
I've known him since 2011.
You didn't inquire
whether or not this was Akash's
brother or reach out to Akash
to say, is this guy your brother?
Now, how did this man DM you?
He DM bad page or your page?
Please, please, please.
Either way.
The point is,
you didn't inquire
if this man was actually a relative
or just a local host of comics.
Look, they're holding hands.
No, that's my hands in my pocket.
Oh, brother.
And look at my head.
I'm going, who is this guy?
This evidence you're trying to display.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Who took this photo?
You did.
No, I didn't.
No, I didn't.
Yeah, you did.
And you did this
because you knew I was going to do this.
And this is insane, dude.
Cat Bird took this photo.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's on my side.
I have a better iPhone than that.
Yeah.
Okay.
This gentleman came to dinner.
Bobby was being cordial
and got through the dinner,
although he was uncomfortable
with the whole thing.
At the end,
was there any semblance of an apology
or like, hey, I didn't know I fucked up
or any of that?
No.
No.
Interesting move, Carlos.
No.
Yeah.
He was visibly upset about this whole
having strangers at the dinner.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't think he was visibly upset about it.
Then why did you say
to shut your mouth during dinner?
You told him to shut your mouth?
Your Honor,
I would never tell my boss
to shut your mouth.
What did you say then?
You need to relax.
Okay.
Take a chill pill is what you said.
Well, he said chill pill.
That's how he took it.
Okay.
He was manic, Andrew.
He needed his meds.
You would have been very upset.
Hold on.
Did you invite two strangers to dinner?
Yeah, but they were cool.
And they were the same color as AK.
Hold on.
Everyone in Toronto was brown.
I know.
The whole city is brown.
I know.
They can all come to dinner.
Well, I guess now they can.
I guess when I go to Toronto next year,
come on out.
Distant cousins of Akash come out.
And I'm also tour managing that.
And also, you know,
I'll pay for it.
Anyone can come out.
I'll pay.
It's not the money problem.
It's that you had strangers at dinner.
It's. It's a common. It's also a common. It's a combination of different things.
Were they backstage?
They came backstage.
Yeah, they came backstage.
Sure, they did.
After the show?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, sure.
Of course they did.
They were in my green room.
Of course they were.
Your Honor, I have something to say about that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They weren't on the backstage list.
And he was standing by the door walking with other people who were.
And I got to say, I got a little afraid of him.
And I was like, oh, hi.
Yeah, you can come.
Well, nothing says good tour manager.
Like fear.
Yeah, like fear.
Yeah, yeah.
So you got afraid of this man.
So what did you do?
You let him in.
You let him in.
Someone has. Someone comes with an ax to the door and you go, get in here.
Bobby's sitting down eating dinner.
I'm not Secret Service.
I wasn't trained in military tactics.
I understand.
But a tactic you are very good at is deflection and diversion.
How come you didn't deflect and go, let's figure this out.
And you guys, why don't you go sit out there?
Let me talk to Bob because he needs to. And then we'll get back to the. I also had told him from our last trial, did I?
I did not.
Right?
That I don't want people back there if I don't know them.
That was presented. That was presented at the previous trial.
Yeah, that was presented at the previous trial.
You're on aisle.
Okay, time out.
You said Robin Williams.
There were two guys I didn't know at the dinner.
I mean, what the fuck is there else to say?
Let me say this.
I don't know. Listen, I don't know anything about him.
You got along swimmingly.
I know, but I would rather get a ride home with him than you that night.
Well, I'm. Yeah.
By the way, interesting tactic by the general to ride with the enemy versus his
own team because he. Never seen in history.
But he doesn't trust his own team enough.
He rides with the enemy.
I don't trust my own team.
That's interesting.
Yeah, it's the most interesting.
That's tough.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Now, let me say this.
No, let's say. Let me get Andreas and McCone in the action.
Go ahead.
Yeah.
Andreas, what do you think?
I want to say it's difficult to defend Carlos here.
I want to.
I really want to.
Your honor, your honor, your honor.
No, no, no.
No, we're. I'm talking. The jury.
The jury has to talk.
They don't talk in court.
Yeah, yeah.
In this court, they do, okay?
Bad friends court, they talk.
They talk.
All right.
McCone, and be honest.
And, you know, I know that we have. But please.
Oh, no.
I think. I mean, Carlos should be keeping you safe.
And there, he really was putting your life at risk.
Exactly.
Life at risk.
Life at risk.
Let me ask you the last thing, McCone, right?
Robin Williams, what do you think of that?
I was high, dude.
No, no, no.
I mean, McCone, just go. I did hear he crushed.
Oh, he heard he crushed.
I'm being honest.
The backstage thing, not okay.
I heard it, too.
Somehow, but. It got back to him.
He got sort of the great time.
Now, who told you that he crushed?
It's on the internet.
No, yeah.
Strangers were reaching out in the DMs being like,
I didn't know Carlos had it in him.
Like, he really, like. He went for the gold and he killed.
Something special.
So, he was Robin Williams that night?
Yeah, I think he was.
Well, he was very high.
Robin was often very high on stage.
I didn't get high before the show, I promise.
Just in the hotel room.
You just said that you were high when you were on stage.
That's what I. Oh, no.
I meant high from being on stage.
That's what I meant.
Oh, you weren't intoxicated?
No, not before the show.
Good, smart.
You know, I did pretty good as well.
I imagine.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm honored that has nothing to do with the truck.
And I walked off stage and I felt like, hmm.
These details are interesting.
Because here's Bobby gets off stage.
He killed.
Standing ovation.
He's feeling, he's feeling.
And I feel okay about it.
Yeah, but I'm not.
You do 34 seconds.
No, I did like 240 seconds.
And I'm not a comedian, so it's more exciting for me.
I don't have to have this brooding like, oh, I didn't really kill, even though I know I did.
Okay, let's move forward in the case.
Copy.
Was there, because the judge has moved on.
Yeah.
Was there any apology at all about letting in foreign objects or people?
No, there was an apology the night before because I yelled twice and then I called Bob.
Yeah, yeah.
He's a dog.
So there's more.
The vine gets longer.
As the vine grows.
Yeah, as the vine grows, right?
It's like a puppy.
Oh, it gets afraid of loud noises or something.
It's insane.
No, this guy, this guy, this guy snaps at strangers.
Who are you yelling?
You didn't snap at the random guys that left actually?
He attacked a door.
What did the door do to you?
Oh, it said, don't open me.
So you opened it?
So if a door says, don't open me, he attacks it.
So anyone in LA County right now, remove those signs.
Remove those signs.
Yeah, yeah, because he will attack it.
He'll go through it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He kicks it, he pulls on it, right?
And he goes, fuck you.
Carlos, I will say, this can be a time for us to not have a strict, you know, you could either, you could either, you can either catch a guilty charge or you can do a sincere apology for some of the gripes that have been.
I know, but we do this every week right now.
No, okay.
So every week we do this.
I know.
Right?
And there's slight changes in behavior.
Mentos, right?
Mentos and cologne.
Cologne is pretty big, right?
So he doesn't look like a cave troll.
And who's cologne?
My own.
What kind I mean?
Malin and Goats from Larchmont.
Yeah, yeah.
Malin and Goats is good.
We already talked about it.
It's more goat than, we already said that joke.
More goat than Malin.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's day of truth.
I didn't know if you switched cologne.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
So, so that being said, you now know that nobody can come backstage without clearance, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Do you feel bad about it or you're still sticking to your gun saying, no, Bobby had a good enough
time with the guy that you don't care?
No, of course not.
I do feel bad about it.
And I told you that.
I said, I felt like I let you down this weekend.
And you said, no, you didn't drop the ball.
Like there was this gaslighting thing of like saying something was fine the night before
and then bringing it up.
It's like, it's, it's like you're in a relationship.
Yeah.
And your wife keeps cheating on you.
And you still go back.
And you're still together.
And eventually the screaming, the yelling.
And the beating.
And all that stuff.
You just kind of get used to it.
And then it's like, oh, you cheated on me again.
That's cool.
So you're in an abusive relationship with Carlo.
I think so.
Yeah.
No, I'm in an abusive relationship.
I think we need therapy.
And in fact, can I say this?
And this is a true.
There's, yeah, Hollywood therapist.
So reliable.
I do therapy for celebrities.
I swear it's for the love of the art.
The love of the science.
You're saying this therapist isn't valid at all.
Andrew, help me please.
This is, this is.
What happens when you die?
I got it.
Andrew, look at me.
I got you.
I need your help right now.
I got you.
Because it's coming up.
It's bubbling.
Yeah, it's raging.
And I'm trying to be calm.
Hey.
So look, no, just look at me, please.
Please look at me.
Please look at me.
Help me.
I got you.
Help me.
Okay.
I got you.
I got you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're going to be okay.
I've had a great week.
Arsenal won.
Arsenal won.
Right.
And I was literally trying to like, not even.
Remember, I took you out.
What did I say outside?
In the parking lot, he said, I don't think I should yell at Carlos today.
Yeah, that's what I said.
That's what I said outside.
How have you said that?
Yeah, yeah, I did.
I go, I have so much resentment.
The thought is what it counts.
Yeah, yeah.
And I looked at you and I said, I don't think I should bring it up today because I think
the audience is tired of it.
And you said, bring it up.
Bring it up.
I want to hear it.
So I brought it up, your honor.
You did.
Yeah.
But I want to hear, because I want to hear.
So I think, you know, the Robin Williams is fine, okay?
Innocent on Robin Williams' charge.
Innocent on Robin Williams.
Okay, innocent on Robin Williams.
Yeah, if you were to watch Carlos that night,
it would be just like watching Robin Williams.
Same shit.
Same shit.
Right, same energy, same, you know what I mean?
Thank you.
Talent, okay?
Thank you.
Second charge, though.
Charge two.
Charge two.
Guilty.
Very.
Yeah.
Guilty.
Guilty.
You're probably going to get an extended sentence
because of the level of the guilt.
I mean, it's like, you know.
It's scary guilt.
I want to say something on this court.
Yeah.
Is this a translator?
Who is this guy?
Yeah, I don't know who he is.
Yeah, yeah.
Your judgment might be impaired.
You are the one hiring me.
No, and I'm questioning myself.
Thanks, Bob.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The only reason I'm not touring this year is because of him.
Otherwise.
Otherwise, I'd be on the road.
I know, I know.

Warby Parker.
- Those glasses that your wife were wearing
the other day were-
- They were Warby Parker, my friend.
- And they're Warby Parker and-
- Here's the best part about Warby Parker
that I actually love.
- Stylish?
- Well, you can try them on at home without even going in
because they have this digital try-on.
You look at your phone and it'll show you
what the glasses look like on your phone.
So you can go, oh, this color matches my face
or my style or my face size and shape.
It's incredible.
- Also, so it's like, you know,
'cause I got these glasses and stuff, right?
And it's like, you don't wanna go to multiple stores.
- No.
- Right, to go like, I wanna find this exact,
you know, ones, you have to try them on.
- There's no guessing.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Order your Warby Parker.
- You need some Warby Parker.
And they're covered by major eye insurance plans,
by the way.

- This episode is brought to you by State Farm.
Listening to this podcast instead of doom scrolling?
Smart move.
Another smart move?
Bundling, just another way to save
with a personal price plan.
- The new rule is, you're gonna do 10.
- More time.
- You're doing more time
because I wanna see the Robin Williams.
And I'm not gonna interrupt you in the begot mic.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I wanna see, you're Robin Williams, right?
So I wanna see 10 minutes and we have a,
timer on stage.
- Yeah, we clock it.
- You're doing 10 or you're fired.
- Done.
- Okay.
- Can I bring the laptop out like Bieber?
- No.
Just yourself, 10 minutes, and you're gonna drown.
You're gonna drown so deeply
that I'm gonna be on the side of the stage like a hyena.
- I'm still gonna get laid that night.
- Okay, dude.
- Dude, what?
- 12 minutes, you're doing.
'Cause that extra two might hurt.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
The extra two minutes hurts.
- The extra two is gonna hurt.
- Yeah.
- The void.
- How about this?
Here's the new rules.
- Yeah.
Tell me the rules.
- 12 minutes.
- Okay.
- Yes.
- No God mic fucking around.
- Yeah.
- You're going out totally cold
and you're being introduced,
not over the God mic from him,
but by a staff member.
So a stage hand or someone there going,
"Ladies and gentlemen, Carlos Herrera."
That's it.
- Okay.
- Standard.
- Walk out music, Kanye?
- No music.
- Yeah, yeah, no music.
Cold.
- No music, cold, cold, freezing.
- 'Cause Robin Williams would be able to go up cold.
- Didn't need music.
- You're right, dude.
- And be able to kill for 12.
- Didn't need music.
- He didn't need music.
Didn't need a God mic.
- You know what's gonna happen is I'm gonna do so well
because I'm expecting not to.
- Should we tape it?
- I wanna film it.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- We have to see it.
- Bobby, you said I did well.
You were happy for me in every city.
- We both did well.
- Yeah.
- We both did well.
Without God mic-
- What did I tell you?
- Without God mic, drown.
- No.
- Hell no.
- No, you make it harder for me.
I need to breathe out there as an artist.
- All right.
- So 12 minutes, no music, no intro,
no hype intro, no, you guys, it's Bobby.
I brought my friends with me.
None of that.
- Yeah, I don't even do that.
- I do that.
- I know.
- I'm saying-
- I do that!
- He gets mad 'cause I go out low energy.
- The first time he went up like it was Julian Casablanca.
He was like kicking the stool.
He was like, I don't wanna be here.
That's the vibe.
Yeah, yeah.
But let's try that.
12 minutes.
- 12 minutes.
- Friday night, Minnesota.
- Yeah.
I'll bring up racial stuff.
People will laugh at that.
- I can't wait to see it.
I'm so excited.
McCone has to be there to film.
- I'm so excited, dude.
Yeah, and McCone's gonna film and it's gonna be great.
And then when you get off stage,
you're gonna realize you're not Robin Williams.
- Bobby, what did I tell you back there?
- Why are you yelling at me?
- Your honor, your honor.
He's leaving out crucial evidence
that just makes me look bad by leaving it out.
- What are some of the things he's leaving out?
- Well, what I told him backstage was your job is so hard.
Like I was like, oh, I can't believe it.
That was like crazy hard.
- Compliments.
- Just in a small amount of time.
Yeah.
- Compliments.
Did you believe any of them?
- No.
- Okay.
- Absolutely not.
- Lies and deception.
- Yeah.
- Well, I gotta tell you,
work on your deception
and work on your threat level one security
of not letting someone through backstage.
That could have been very bad.
- Yeah.
- Hypothetically.
- That could have been bad.
- I'm glad it worked out.
- Yeah, I mean, but it wasn't.
- Anyway.
- Anyway, yeah, yeah.
How was your week?
- Case closed.
My week was in the Dominican Republic.
It was amazing.
McCone obviously has the phone.
The photo we can show you.
McCone came to my sister's wedding,
which was pretty amazing that he was there.
I'm shocked and a little annoyed that he was there.
I greeted him with such disdain
when I first saw his face with my family.
- Who flew?
He flew himself out?
- I flew him.
- I get it.
- I flew him.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- What was I gonna do?
- Yeah.
Do you get talk back from McCone?
- I sure do, I sure do.
- You do, you do.
- Really?
Do you wanna talk about what happened today?
So this is McCone on the beach.
We made him braid his hair for the wedding.
- That looks dope.
- It actually was.
It was so sick. - That looks dope.
You should've kept it.
- He took it out.
I told him to keep it.
- Yeah, you should've kept that.
That looks dope.
- He kept going, "It hurts so much."
- Really?
- It hurts every day.
- I couldn't move my head up or down.
- Really?
- It's like so tight.
- There needs to be a trial for McCone.
- We need to.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I will be the judge, okay?
- I'm on the mile.
- Mile!
- Oh my God!
Oh my God, dude!
- I did it!
What's up, B-Dawg?
What's up, bud?
What up, B?
What up, bro?
You all right?
Great to see you, boy.
Love you, boy.
I had to surprise you, man.
We did this for you, dude.
Oh, yeah, it's been a good other day, Steve.
Everything good?
- Yeah, Steve, what's going on, man?
Boy, don't give me that fist bump shit, man.
Keep it real.
How you feeling, friend?
- How you doing?
- Great, bro. - It's so good
to see you, man.
- Yeah, look at him.
You see him?
Hey, that's what I'm talking about!
- Take a seat, Big D.
- Ladies and gentlemen,
ladies and gentlemen of the "Bad Friends" universe,
the one and the only Doc Willis returns
to the "Bad Friends" show.
- Hell, yeah!
What's up to y'all?
Y'all good?
- Disclosure day.
- Hey, man, what's up, Tino?
- My man, Doc, is back in the building.
It's been a long time.
Do we have a count on the last time he was on the show
of how many episodes ago it was?
It was over--
- It's early 100s.
- It's gotta be a year and a half or two years now.
More?
- Three years.
- Almost three years.
- Summer of '22.
- Summer of '22.
So that's, oh my God, we're coming up
on our fourth year.
Doc Willis returns to the "Bad Friends" show.
Bobby is in awe.
And for the dead air replacement,
people that don't know and that are not watching,
he is holding his face.
He's crying because we've surprised him
with bringing Doc back to the show.
Oh, and he's getting emotional.
- Hey, man.
They say they're yellow.
He turned red.
- He's turning very red.
- That was beautiful, man.
- I'm not yellow anymore.
- Listen, man.
Everyone blue makes red, by the way.
- Listen, man.
I just want to say it's good to see you.
- Great to see you too, bro.
You know, I have a deep history with you.
You know, we've known each other for a very long time.
And, you know, I
I've just I've just I've just missed you.
And thank you so much for coming back on. And
I don't know.
I think this is the best week of my life.
I mean, Arsenal wins, you know, I mean,
you know, Carlos doesn't.
Robin Williams. But then
Doc, anyway,
and to see you back, really, it really did really.
And yeah, I
thank you for being here.
And I love you.
And let's give Doc Willis a round of applause.
What a surprise.
Yeah, not a good surprise or what?
You look great. Yeah, you look good.
Yeah, you look healthy.
Yeah, because I was up at a 100 and over 180 pounds.
I have all kind of health issues
because of that. So what were the health issues?
Now he's back to Chalamet.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You look 20 years younger.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Weight loss to do for you. You look good, too, bro.
That's the guy that's up there, man.
Thank you so much, man. Yeah, man.
It was I had type two diabetes.
Oh, no. Yeah, yeah.
It's not good. That's not good.
No, that's not good. That's not good.
OK, which one's good? Yeah. Is that the three is good.
Oh, three is good, is good.
So type two diabetes. Doc, Doc told me.
Type two diabetes. You were going to the doctor,
but you're but you beat it.
I went in because I had a cough
and I was having illnesses that were stopping me from eating.
Like, I couldn't eat nothing sweet.
Everything I was eating was just I was like almost throwing it up.
So I stopped juice no matter what it was, apple juice, everything.
So I was like, all right, I need to go to the doctor.
Well, actually, my cousin, she was like, get your ass in the doctor.
You got free health care. What's your favorite?
What's your favorite kind of juice?
Pomegranate. Oh, that's a good juice.
Yeah, it is very good juice.
And so I was like, all right, let me just go.
And so I go there and he basically just called me fat to my face.
I've never heard a doctor, even, you know, I'm saying like the doctor.
You walk. Did you get on a scale?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You see that when you first go in.
He said that before you went on the scale.
No, no. He said it right after that. OK.
But he didn't say fat. He just.
So let me explain this.
He had one of the baddest female students
I've ever seen, and he was like, is it cool
if we just do this exam in front of you?
I was like, shit, I'll do this shit naked.
I don't give a fuck.
She was beautiful, bro.
So I was like. Asian, white, what was it?
Asian, Indian.
Yeah. So and like.
Yeah, it said doctor. Yeah.
Oh, Indian, for sure. Yeah, doctor.
It could be Asian, Asian, Indian is Asian.
That's right. Yeah. OK.
And she was like, just like really, really, I said, damn, she's pretty.
I said, OK, yeah.
So he'd look, he does all that stuff.
Looks at everything.
And then he says, everything looks good so far.
You look well and everything's OK.
And then he looked at her and he said, but however you see right here
on the computer, he said, we got to move the cursor over here and click obese.
And I go, what the fuck?
And then I go, what the fuck you mean?
He was like, because, you know, your BMI is too high.
And I said, you're just going to say that right in front of the bitch.
It was embarrassing.
Not to call a bitch, sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
What the fuck he mean? He always, black dudes always calling hoes bitches.
Anyway, so I was like, all right, what's next?
And he said, OK, I need you to go in and take some blood because I'm concerned about you.
Give some blood. I'm concerned.
I said, OK, so I go in and then I come back three weeks later.
He's like, hey, man, you got diabetes.
So I had an early stage of that.
And then so I was having issues with my stomach.
Like I told you guys, he said, well, let me send you in to get an ultrasound on your abdomen.
So he goes in. I go in.
They do the exam.
And then I come back and they go, hey, man, you got two lesions on both of your kidneys.
You've got something on your kidneys and you got something on your liver.
And I said, so we got to do more testing and blah, blah, blah.
And then he said, because of all of this, I'm going to send you to go get a colonoscopy.
So I go do the colonoscopy.
They find a polyp and they like, oh, man, we got to we got to.
Oh, I also went to the urologist, too.
So so I got a test. Come on, I got to get the results.
So I actually just did a CT scan for that dispatch.
This past Thursday. I can't believe they fit so many bad things in such a small body.
It's crowded in there. It's like it's like trying to put jawbreakers in a lemon head.
It fits. It fits.
But, you know, here's the good news. You look a thousand times better.
You look healthy as fuck. Tell him why you told me what you were up to.
He said he cut out no booze, no junk.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. What you ever throw out no booze.
We don't do that. Wait a minute. You said no. No.
Well, here's what happened. So I said, I'm not drinking wine for a while, Tino.
That's what I said. That sounds just like me. I know. Fuck. Yeah.
What it was was the doctor when I told him about the wine, he's like, no, he said, the things that's happened to you is mostly due to your sugar.
He says, I was affecting your pancreas, your liver and everything. He says, so wine is good. You can do it. But you still got to do it.
Only two glasses a day. And I said, yeah, that's already where I always was doing.
I don't drink. Like, you know, I don't drink. I get drunk. Yeah.
So sometimes over here you did. No, never. You had to always, always to always get back, get some wine, please.
So the thing was, was when when the test happened, when the test came back about the liver, he was like, so what you want to do for right now until we see what's going on?
He said, because it mostly points to fatty liver due to diabetes being overweight. Yeah.
Diabetes. He said, so just we want to scale back on it.
So I said, I'm going to stop, period. So that's what I did. I just stopped. Not period.
But you haven't drunk a drink in a while. Yeah.
Yeah. Then to like the thing, like especially for disclosure to you, bad friends who are always talking about, yeah, he's a fucking alcoholic.
Yeah. Yeah. It's like I'm the alcoholic. Yeah. I can't get on you for some reason.
I've always since I was young, never been.
I've been able to get drunk. Like it makes like I get really sick.
My mother actually had an intolerance to alcohol. She couldn't drink at all.
So I have kind of the same thing. If I drink more than two, three, I get really sick.
So like sometimes I will sneak and try to do like four glasses. Man, I'm over there hurting.
Man, it's the worst. So I will always stick to two, three tops.
But no sugar. No sugar. So through intermittent fasting twice a week, sometimes at 16, eight and sometimes twice I did 48.
Hours in a row. Try to go three straight. That shit is rough.
Yeah, you can't do that. You end up looking like Carlos.
Yeah. Well, it's actually really good for you because it causes a top of G.
And when the top of G occurs, that's when the cells start eating each other and they start looking, not eating each other, but they start looking for things to eat.
So first to start off by eating your fat in your body, they eat the weakest cell.
Yeah. Yeah. Yep. So the longer you can go, the better the top of G.
So doctors recommend doing it only with water fasting. I did it twice without and then when I started doing it.
Fasting, I would do lemon water to replace my electrolytes.
That's right. So you lose electrolytes when you fast. Yeah. So, yeah, be careful.
But it's actually super great for you. So my A1C went down from six point six to five point nine.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.
Is your mental function better, you think, when you fast? People say they see something in their brain function.
The best feeling in the world after when you get to that 48 hour point, I've never even I'm like they call it lightheaded, but it's almost like you're high.
It's like the best feeling in the world.
It's a man. And I want it. You want to keep going. But your mind, you're fighting with your mind because you're not really that hungry either.
It's like a weird space you in. You feel like you're floating. It's one of the most beautiful feeling.
I'm like, man, this is amazing. So I always try now just to fast just because of the feeling of it.
It's like, what was the sugars that you were intaking a lot? Was it sweets or was it?
OK, last year was the year last year was the year that I've ever ate like this. Right. So when I was on Bad Friends, I was roughly about.
Kind of where I am now. So when I left and last year I went to New York, came back in February.
From there, I just was in the house. And when I tell you I was eating bad to where the point where my cousin recognized it when she would talk to me on the phone.
She's like, because I told her what I ate and I had eight. I would always eat a Starbucks little donut and some coffee every morning.
No food. And then sometimes and then wait till about afternoon, two o'clock.
And I'm like, you know, I'm going to have a little wine.
So now I'm drinking wine. Yeah.
On coffee and Starbucks, you know, cupcakes and shit.
I was totally just fucking myself. And then I would eat. And I said, damn, I ain't eight. It's five o'clock.
Let me let me go on a jack in the box. I don't feel like cooking is too hot.
So I did that shit. And I got in a rut.
What would you get a jack in the box? I always get the tacos. You ever get the tacos?
Hell no. I don't trust they tacos.
What about the egg rolls?
Damn. You can make them yourself.
Hit that family restaurant.
Well, why are you jacking the box? Because those are the two things that other places don't have.
Well, because of the deals. So you got the app. So the app, I was like, I can save more money.
I don't really eat like this. I was telling myself.
My mother never fed me fast food when I was younger.
OK, like that was our thing. She used to get mad at me when I would go to McDonald's.
What you doing? You don't eat like that. I taught you how to cook. And I'm like, man, I'm relaxed.
It was just a burger. Right.
What did you get when you get a jack in the box? What would you eat?
I would always get the.
The breakfast combo sandwich every morning. If I do go to number 23, you know, I'm going to load it, load it.
And then I would always get the jack in the box butter, the buttery jack combo.
What's the buttery jack?
- It's a, I don't know exactly what it is,
but it tastes good in a month.
- The Buttery Jack is a burger with Swiss tomato.
It looks like ketchup.
It's a buttery burger.
Probably cooked in butter.
- So you haven't had that in a while.
- In a while.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- You miss it?
- Hold on, I'm not done.
- He's not done, dude.
- Shake Shack, five guys, so I was balancing it out
'cause I was like, well, they got better quality beef,
so I don't wanna eat too much of this shit.
- So you were eating burgers a lot.
- Burgers a lot.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Burgers and pizza and Popeyes.
- What was your pizza spot?
What would you get?
- It's this place around the corner called Joe Peeps.
- Yeah, Joe, yeah.
- Fucking fantastic.
- No, they're good.
- They're good.
- So wait a minute, Popeyes too?
- Popeyes.
- But Popeyes over KFC for you, yeah?
- Yeah.
- Good man.
- Okay, good man.
- Smart, smart.
- Why though?
- Because this is the taste.
- Okay.
- Popeyes is better chicken by far.
- It is?
- It tastes better.
It's always tasted better.
- I've never been to Popeyes.
Do they have like a fried,
extra crispy drumstick?
- The best fry.
Their fry's way better than KFC.
- Not the French fries.
- Yeah, fried chicken.
Their fry, I'm saying.
Their fry.
- Okay, I didn't know.
I didn't know.
- Look at that. - Okay, good.
- There it is.
- Looks great.
- You never had Popeyes?
- I never had Popeyes.
- Oh shit.
- I don't like the cartoon.
- He thought they sold spinach.
- His forearms fucked me up, you know what I mean?
As a kid, you know what I mean?
- Well, here's something interesting about spinach,
what I learned.
- Talk space.

Listening to this podcast and setting up
a set of doom-scrolling?
Smart move.
Another smart move?
Bundling, just another way to save
with the personal price plan.
- Give it to me.
- You want my research?
- Yeah, yeah, tell me about spinach.
- So what I learned is you can't eat a lot of high,
and oxalate green vegetables.
So the lesions in my kidneys.
- Yeah.
- Could have been caused because I went
on this whole spinach diet,
where I wouldn't eat none but spinach.
Then I would do spinach and tomatoes,
spinach with onions and squash, spinach with broccoli.
- You put it all Popeye.
- Yeah, yeah, it was like everything's spinach.
And then turn around and I'm reading,
spinach- - That's what you meant
about Popeye.
- All just kidney stones.
- Kidney stones from spinach.
- There you go.
So the lesions that they saying that's on my kidneys,
inside my kidneys, it's either kidney stones,
or the latter.
- Wow.
- Wow.
- Yeah.
- Yeah, so kale, is that good?
- No.
- Kale's not good.
- Kale's good.
They're both good for you, but they,
it's got lower oxalates than spinach.
- Well, then what's the best vegetable I can eat?
Because I eat kale, I eat bok choy.
- Bok choy's good, broccoli's good.
In fact, the best vegetables that your people know of
is fermented vegetables, or even better-
- Kimchi.
- Kimchi's one of the best you can have.
- Okay, good.
- For many levels.
It's really, really good for you.
- Most vegetables, and not all-
- Yeah, kale, and dark leaf lettuce.
Light leaf lettuce is not good for you.
In fact, there's a lot of research that says
kale is total bullshit as well, but dark leaf lettuce,
light leaf lettuce has almost no nutritional value.
- So beets are good.
- So put it in spinach and kidney stones.
- Beets are very good for you.
- Okay.
- What'd you say?
- Put it in spinach and a kidney stone.
- Yeah, no, he did.
No, no, he did.
- Oh, he did, okay.
- Yeah, oxalate, the calcium oxalate
can cause a lot of kidney-
- Yeah, so what you have to do is,
you have to have a protein with it-
- That's right.
- To bind the oxalates.
- Oh, so if I ate, so if I had steamed spinach
and some steak, they bind together.
- But you could do like cottage cheese,
or you can do something that has-
- Calcium.
- High calcium level cheeses are usually what they say
with spinach is good for you.
- Oh, I didn't know.
- Yeah. - I didn't know.
- No, I know. - Wow, wow.
- We can get you there.
- So you went all spinach for a while.
- For a while.
That was my thing, was like-
- How was olive oil?
Was she good?
How has she been?
- Or Brutus, I'm a big Brutus fan.
- You're Brutus.
- So, Doc, out of all this-
- And walking.
- Uh-huh.
- And I did walking, too.
- You've been walking a lot.
- Japanese walking.
- Yeah, with your hands behind your back?
- Just to make them angry.
Yeah, just to make them angry.
- Wait, give me a napkin.
- Japanese walking.
- Give me a napkin, dude.
- It's hands behind your back, right?
Isn't that what it is?
- Not behind your back, it's-
- Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up.
That was a curve ball, dude.
Oh, fuck.
All right, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- Japanese walking.
- Yeah, Japanese walking.
- It alternates-
- Three minutes of brisk walking,
three minutes of slow recovery,
and a total of 30 minutes.
So it's warm up, so it's interval walking levels.
- There you go.
- Wow.
And this says warm up,
and then fast interval, slow interval,
and when you see something
that you haven't seen before on your walk,
you must say, "Ooh."
That's crazy that that's in there.
It says how to do it.
- Right there, yeah.
Well, for us, it's like, you know what I mean,
in us to do it.
- It's what you do.
- Ooh, we always do it, yeah, yeah, but-
- Now, when you're walking,
there is a big thing they say.
People take walks, so my wife and I
walk every night, but they say do not be on your phone
or check your phone 'cause nighttime walking with phones,
they say, is really bad for you.
- Well, yeah, because being on the phone at night,
period, is really bad for you.
- It's blue light.
- The blue light, exactly.
- It's real bad for your brain.
- Come on, I'm transferring to my cell phone.
- So if you was having insomnia,
that's what you definitely did, buddy.
- Yeah, your transformation is unbelievable.
- Yeah.
- Yeah, you look happy.
- He's healthy, he's happy.
- Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm doing great.
You know, I always. I think, I feel like even when I was on Bad Friends,
I've always been happy, you know, from the beginning.
- But now you're really happy.
- The same.
- Okay.
- Oh, you're the same.
- Yeah, it's the same, yeah.
- No, but you've gotten a boost in your life, I feel.
Mentally, you feel like you've figured out
more stuff in life, right?
Like, you've got a clearer path of what you want.
- No, it's even harder now.
- Okay.
- You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, I'm over here like, but I'm just. - Do you still have your vision board?
- Yeah, so how's the vision board?
- I had to tear it down.
I told you.
It was the wrong vision.
- Oh, it was the wrong vision.
- Have you been doing standup any, or no?
- Not really.
I've been kind of, like I said,
I've been really working on my health.
- Okay.
- So I've been like, I've been doing like some mics
and a couple of shows here and there,
but mostly I've been just working on my health.
- Focusing on health is important.
- Yeah, 'cause I've been turning on everything.
People wanted me to do podcasts, whatever.
I'm like, nah, like I'm just trying to. And then, you know, I didn't say anything,
but my great aunt passed away in November.
So it's kind of been like a, like I've been in a haze.
And I'm still in that haze, but it's like, it feels good.
Like, I'm like, oh, okay.
You know, I'm just going and taking each day
versus me saying, what's next?
What do I gotta do tomorrow?
- That's right.
- Well, what do we do?
- What do we do now is more important.
- Yes, 100%.
- How do we get through right now?
- Well, staying present.
- Present is important.
- Yeah, and. - It's a big thing in the program.
- It's the only thing.
- That's what I'm saying, staying now, being here now.
- The only real thing is the present moment.
- Be here now.
- My mother used to say, when I used to worry on the phone,
she would always be like, all right, all right,
now bring it back, bring it back.
If you're going too far ahead, stay right here in the moment.
Bring it back.
So she would always, that's what I hear.
I always hear when I'm thinking, man,
what am I gonna do next in this?
Why is this that?
Bring it back, bring it back.
It's a great way to coach yourself
and keep yourself in this moment.
Because like they say, what's the saying?
- Anxiety is in the future, depression is in the past.
- That's right.
- So the moment of solidarity and peace is now.
- That's right.
- Or they say, you never assume, why?
- Because you really don't know.
- No, 'cause if you assume, you make an asset of you and me.
- That's right.
- You didn't know that, Tino, don't do this to us.
- No, I did, I was setting him up.
- Yeah, you did know that or no?
I feel like you didn't know.
- Since I was in third grade.
Everyone's heard.
- You wanna do more?
- Let's do more.
- I don't know anymore.
Oh, I know, I know, I know, I know.
If you have one foot in front of the future.
- Yeah, I'm doing that one now.
- And you have one foot in the past,
you're pissing on today.
- Oh, wow.
- That's a good one.
- That's actually pretty good one.
- That's actually very good.
- I've never heard of it.
- Yeah, you've never heard of that one?
- No, I've never heard of it.
- Well, I'm Asian, we know these type of things.
- Okay.
- Yeah, we're born with them.
- What about the one that's--
- Oh, don't make one up.
- Yeah, give me one.
Yeah, yeah, from Chicago, go ahead.
- No, no, no, I was gonna do one of your peoples.
- Okay, go.
- What's the Asian thing about the tree,
the plant the tree?
Do Asian saying planting trees.
- Oh, yeah.
- Asian saying planting trees.
Watch, you'll know, it'll pop it up right.
- They have a video.
- Okay, there it is, zoom in.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
The second best time is now.
Take action immediately.
- Mm, it's a very good one.
- Yeah, very good.
See, I'm Asians, man.
You guys have all of the, this is where it all came from.
- 'Cause if we don't do that, we go.
- So you found a stronger relationship with God
to help you kind of refocus life then?
- Yeah, I've always--
- I know you have, but I mean,
now it sounds like you're more focused.
- Yeah, 'cause it's like--
- Are you going to church?
- Nah.
- Yeah.
- You don't need to go to church.
- Well, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- I just, since COVID, I haven't been in a while.
- That's fine.
- Yeah, so it's kind of like--
- Are you scared of hantavirus and Ebola
and all these new viruses that are coming about, or no?
- Nah.
- You should.
You got COVID seven times.
- Yeah.
Yeah.
I got a good-ass memory.
He remembers all my goddamn tragedies, this guy.
He's--
- You did have COVID more than anyone I've ever met.
- Yeah, yeah, a lot.
- Seven times.
- I was mad.
Even myself, I said, how the fuck I keep getting this shit?
I'm fucking sick of it.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- And then I said,
where are my goddamn cookies?
- Yeah, but I want to warn you, though,
with hantavirus and Ebola, if it's not going to spread,
but I'm sorry.
- Easy.
- What?
- Such bullshit.
He's on this kick.
It's not coming around.
You know what's more likely?
The fucking Garden Grove factory
that's about to explode here in LA.
- Oh, I know that one.
- Infecting us.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Or Gardena, where is it?
- I'm just saying, hypothetically, if--
- Garden Grove.
- I'm just saying, hypothetically,
if these two diseases mutate and they become airborne--
- Yes.
- It spreads like COVID, right?
You got to be more careful.
- Remember the Ebola case--
- Dallas.
- What?
- This just happened before.
This ain't the first time this happened.
- No, it's not the first time.
- Yeah, it happened in Dallas--
- Dallas.
- And a couple other places.
- There's also no active cases spread
within the United States.
It's contained.
- Okay.
- Oh, yes, alternate in use, I think.
- Oh, great.
- Can I just say something?
- Sure.
- Viruses want to survive, right?
And because of global warming
and because of the cutting down of the rainforests, right,
these viruses mutate.
- Stop it.
- Right?
They do.
- They mutate because their fucking scientists
are trying to kill us.
That's why they mutate.
- It's another theory that COVID came from a lab purposely--
- No, it's not a theory.
That's a literal fact that came from a lab.
- Oh, yeah, and purposely put upon--
- Absolutely.
- The world to cause, right?
So if they do it with Ebola, which has a 50%--
- If they do this again, they won't give us a warning shot.
It's just gonna happen.
That's my point.
- And I'm concerned about Dog.
He's got stones in his liver.
I mean, he's got all kinds--
- Hey, you're gonna die of whatever you're gonna die of.
- No, no, no, no, I don't want you to die.
That's how I'm just saying.
- No, that's how I go.
- You got it seven times.
- That's a fuckin' mask, man.
That's all I'm asking, dude.
- I don't wanna wear a fuckin' mask.
- You know, dude, you can't free-ball hantavirus, dude.
- You gotta wrap it up, Dog.
- You gotta wrap it up, dude.
- Fuck this shit.
- Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- No, you're not gonna get it.
- I'm courageous in the fear of death.
I'll face it.
- What?
- Where is hantavirus now?
Where is it now?
CeCe, where is it now?
- It's dead.
- Vacation.
- It's gone, yeah.
- It's dead, but now Ebola is a whole thing,
and it's like, I don't know.
- Hantavirus is primarily located in two continents,
and neither of them are here,
and the hotspots are not here anymore.
The Four Corners is a region.
They're monitoring estates,
but it's not gonna get around.
- Also, remember, too,
the seven times I caught the coronavirus
was mutated strings, right?
You know what I'm sayin'?
- That's what I'm sayin'!
- So what I'm tryin' to tell you is just maybe
I got more antibodies to fight off more things than you do,
and yours, because you haven't had enough.
- Oh, okay, all right, yeah.
- He needs to get every version of Nikes.
- He got all the strains.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, he got all the strains.
- That's why I started following the UFO.
- I need all the Nikes.
- I'm about to start following the UFO situation.
- Give me one of them, one of them, one of them.
Doc collects coronavirus like black guys collect Jordans.
- Or like Chris Tucker on Rush Hour.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- I want the foes.
I want the five.
- I'm just concerned for your health.
That's why I'm sayin' that.
- No, I'm all right.
I'm all right.
- Well, is it attacking black people?
Then it would be more scary for Doc.
Is Hanta going after black people?
- No, I don't think so.
- Well, then it wasn't made the right way.
It wasn't--
- I was just racist, too.
No, God damn it.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Well, no, you think, do you not think
that the government's tried to put viruses
and stuff out there to attack black people?
You think that's ever happened?
- I think that that's a possibility,
but I think they've done-- - I think we've had
proof of it.
- I think they've done that
towards a lot of different populations.
- I think so, too, yeah.
I think so, too, yeah.
- We've done nothing to these Asians.
- What?
- Yeah, yeah, no.
Tina, you love the Asians, God damn.
They just as dumb as us.
I don't know why you--
- Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- It's preposterous.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- What, just 'cause you invented peanut butter
doesn't mean that you can--
- And a stoplight.
And a stoplight.
- And a stoplight.
- Oh, don't forget about--
- And the super soaker.
- Don't forget about hidden figures.
And there was eight black scientists on it.
- Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, hidden figures.
That's right, that's right, that's right.
- There was eight black scientists
that created that atomic bomb.
Let's get it.
- That's true.
- You also created a clothes dryer,
this home security.
- Man, we'd be all day.
- Now, irony.
- You guys created home security.
- It's so funny.
- Now we know how to break in.
- Yeah.
- You're Captain America now.
- Huh?
- What does that mean?
- There is a black man playing Captain America now.
- Oh, it is?
- Isn't it, or am I wrong?
- Not my country.
- This is starting to get--
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- You know, this is DEI shit.
- Stop it.
- Anthony Mackie.
- Anthony Mackie is Captain America.
- And the Harrison Ford one.
- So he went from being the other guy to--
- Captain America, yeah.
- Who was he before that?
- The Falcon.
- The Falcon, yeah.
- Man, that sucks, man.
- Why, why, why?
- Because it's like--
- You don't want him to be Captain--
- Captain America being white is okay.
It's like, stop.
Yeah, it's like, man, stop, man.
- Oh, come on, that's crazy.
What you're saying is nuts.
Anybody can be Captain America.
- No.
- No, no, no, what I'm saying is
the original characters, the way they were drawn,
it's cool.
- We're together, dude.
- It's just the comics.
- Yeah, but wait a minute.
I agree, but they've deviated from all that now.
It doesn't matter.
Nothing means anything.
- To me and Doc, it does.
- Okay.
- Okay, so here's another,
I'm gonna tell you a true story.
I know a Korean actor--
- It sounds like I'm not the white guy.
Isn't this crazy?
- Like, I'm fine with it 'cause I don't give a fu--
Why does it matter?
- Yeah, I--
- The original one, okay, how about this?
How about this?
I agree with you on certain,
can James Bond not be British?
- Yeah, he should be British.
- Right.
- Right.
- He has to be British.
- Yes.
- But does it matter what color he is?
- No.
- No.
- 'Cause he's not from comics.
- That's all I'm saying.
- Yeah, that's all I'm saying, too.
- But comics books were colored.
They were crayon, there was coloring.
- But there's descriptions on who the person was, right,
in the comics.
- Did it say Captain America was a white male?
- He was drawn always as a white male.
He was a white guy.
- That's 'cause color costs more money.
- Okay.
- All right.
I know this Korean actor who is almost,
and I can't say his name.
- I couldn't agree with them more, which is so funny.
- Right.
- Playing devil's advocate.
But even though I'm like, yeah, Captain America's white.
God damn it.
- I know a Korean actor who came to me and goes,
I think they might want me to play Wolverine.
And I was like, please, say no.
- Why?
- It'll ruin it.
Yeah, Wolverine's Canadian, white dude, short, thick.
It's like, I am Wolverine.
- What about Wolverine?
- Yeah, and there's chopsticks coming out.
- Is Wolverine?
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- No, I know what you're saying.
The original, that's what you want.
I get it.
- It's not a big deal.
- I guess I don't give a fuck.
- It's not a big deal what you're saying.
- I don't give a fuck.
- It's Marvel.
- How about this?
I'm more mad that any redheaded comic book guy
has been recast by non-redheaded fucking,
they don't put any redheaded people, and there were red-
- Well, you're weaker.
- Interesting.
- It's harder to believe that a redheaded guy, Jean Grey,
by the way, they've made every redheaded,
half of them are black now.
Whatever redheaded person before, they're black.
- They're all hot girls.
- Yeah, they're all hot girls.
- Most of them.
No, there's a whole cartoon drawing of all the reddit,
that's probably-
- No, you're not weak.
I'm sorry for redheaded people.
- I mean, even Storm wasn't white.
We know that Halle Berry played Storm, right?
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- So we, it's just like, it just seemed like they just,
they're having a struggle internally with what is right
and what is wrong, and they're just,
so like, it doesn't matter in the sense of what you're saying.
- I just don't- - I'm just saying-
- I'm just talking about, just as far as the comics,
I don't care, it's a movie.
- Well, that's my point, is it doesn't matter who plays it,
'cause it's meaningless anyway.
It's just kind of like saying like,
who cares what the original-
- Not when you're a comic fan.
- Right, I'm not a comic fan.
- So they're making new, they're making new comics now
with a variety of different colors of people, right?
And in 20 or 30 years from now,
those roles will be played by, you know what I mean?
- White. - People that,
no, not white.
- You know what I don't like?
People ain't gonna like this.
Y'all gonna get mad.
I don't like that.
RDJ is playing Dr. Doom.
Yeah, yeah.
Speak your mind.
Dude, I'm like, bro, I'm used to him just being Iron Man.
And now y'all going to move.
It's just like, ah.
Yeah, there's other actors.
Yeah, there's more people.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But Hollywood is so afraid.
But there's not.
They want to talk.
There are.
No, there's hundreds of thousands of actors, but they don't care.
That doesn't mean anything to them.
They're not as great as.
Because it doesn't move the needle for them.
So this is a business.
They're not basing it on who's available or what could be cool.
They're basing it on how much money can they render from this.
Why can't Leo play Dr. Doom?
He probably doesn't want to.
Oh, my God.
I would have been.
There's no way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, there's some.
Daniel Day-Lewis.
He would never do that.
Tom Cruise said no.
Tom Cruise said no.
They don't want to do it.
So you're saying to me, I'm sorry.
They went all the way down the line and got back to Robert Downey Jr.
He was the last pick.
I guarantee you he wasn't first because Tom Cruise got up.
A bunch of people got off.
I think it was just Tom Cruise, then RDJ.
They only wanted like the biggest movie.
Brad Pitt.
No, I don't.
Yeah, they don't go after people.
We try.
Give him an offer.
I don't think he would.
Okay.
I think there's certain guys in this game that are of the top of their career and the end
of their career or whatever, that this is not right.
How old is Dr. Doom?
But isn't Marvel the franchise that-
I want to know how old Dr. Doom is.
Say it again.
But do you feel like Marvel and DC and all these, they're at a point where you pretty
much can get anybody that's great at acting and that has a certain, they don't have to
be.
They don't have to be a big name like Robert Downey Jr. just because it's already solidified
as a franchise.
No, but it sells internationally so much better.
So Dr. Doom is in his mid-40s and early 50s.
In the MCU, he's 60 in the movies.
Okay, but I'm just saying in the comics, he's in his mid-40s, early 50s.
That's me and you, bud.
Why can't you and I do it?
Give me all the actors that are in their late 40s and early 50s.
That's a good question, Tino.
If they had Dr. Doom and wanted you to play it, I'd be like, fuck that.
That right there.
That's-
He wore something.
Can I do it?
I wear a mask.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
You're not getting it.
I'm saying, fuck that.
You can't play that guy.
Like, no, man.
Oh, fuck.
Why, why, why?
Look, he don't, you know, Tino's not-
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
He's not Dr. Doom material.
He's too nice.
He's a good guy.
Who's more Dr. Doom, me or him?
I don't feel like he can come off-
Who's more Dr.-
I would have to see you play an evil dude.
You know what I'm saying?
I do it on this show every week.
Wait a minute.
You're definitely not.
How big was he?
Was he a full-sized man?
Dude, I'm the rest of my body.
Okay.
All right, so, born in 72-
These are the actors they could have gone to.
Ben Affleck, The Rock, Marlon Wayans, no.
Idris Elba.
Oh, but they-
He wouldn't do it.
Yeah, yeah, okay.
So, Adrian Brody could have been it.
It's a different mask with a nose.
Okay.
I love Patrick Wilson.
I love James Marsden.
74, DiCaprio.
Would never do it.
Christian Bale.
Maybe.
No, he already played Batman.
He can't do it.
Joaquin Phoenix, Joker, already.
Matthew McConaughey, perfect Dr. Doom.
Insane to say that.
Yeah.
How could he play that guy?
Would you rather have Matthew McConaughey?
Oh, yeah.
He would have been his voice.
Oh, man.
All right, all right, all right.
Dr. Doom.
Maybe you're right.
You got to get what's available.
All right, you're right.
Okay.
But also, it doesn't-
I just think it doesn't-
I think-
How about this?
I don't care what color person plays any of this stuff.
Make new shit, dude.
Yeah.
I don't want to revive old properties.
I don't-
Like, did you see Weapons?
That was new shit.
That's new shit.
There's a new movie I'm going to see tonight or tomorrow night, Obsession.
I heard it's really good.
Oh, I heard that's really good.
You saw it?
No, I just hear it's so good.
Have you seen it?
It's really good.
Yeah, yeah.
More of this needs to make a wave and a comeback.
I watched the Hulk Hogan documentary last night.
I finished it.
All three episodes, this guy.
What is it on?
Netflix.
Netflix?
Okay.
Yeah, I'm pass.
Well, it's funny because I'm not a wrestling fan, but I was enamored by the idea of this
guy.
I was a huge wrestling fan when I was in the 80s, but once it got past Stone Cold, I kind
of tapped out.
You tapped out.
Well, this was kind of about the world of his in and out of lasting longer than maybe
he should have, and then the world of NWO and ECW and all that stuff.
Tonga the Kid was my guy.
Remember Tonga the Kid?
Mm-mm.
Mm-mm.
You don't remember Tonga the Kid?
Oh, there he is.
Senpato.
That's my guy.
Oh, yeah.
No wonder why I remember him.
That's my guy.
Look at this guy.
Yeah.
What do you mean?
I mean, look at him.
I know.
He was great.
There's nothing exciting about him.
It's like every woman you've ever dated.
I mean, everybody got their own.
No, but it was an interesting doc.
It was weird.
It was cool to see because I remember it as a kid, but I wasn't a wrestling fan, but the
impact was wild.
I forgot how popular he was.
He was huge.
Bigger.
I mean, he was like-
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They quoted him as one of the most recognizable faces in the world.
Probably.
Probably.
Not namesake.
Because name?
Yes, but that you could show his picture to a foreign country of far in the middle of
nowhere.
They'd be like, oh, yeah, they know who that is.
They don't know what he is, but they know who he is.
Yeah, yeah.
It's fucking wild.
It's wild.
I mean, there's a few people like that in the world.
Michael Jackson, that being one.
Yeah, but think about it.
Michael Jackson was a musical genius.
Yes.
And he was a, you know what I mean, an athlete.
Well, Hulk Hogan was kind of in his own right because WWF is strictly acting.
No.
He-
It's real.
Yes, it's real.
It's real.
That's the myth.
It's real to me, man.
That clip is so good.
That's the myth of pro wrestling, that it's fake.
It's not.
No.
No, I'm hungry, dude.
Right?
No, no, the physicality of it is real.
Yeah, Hulk Hogan picks up Tonga the Kid, right?
No, he picked up-
First of all, he picked up fucking Andre the Giant, which was the greatest-
Yeah, Andre the Giant, right?
Let him have his-
Throws him-
Yeah, exactly.
Throws him over the ring.
Andre the Giant falls on a table.
Right?
You don't think that hurts?
No, no, I'm saying the physicality is real.
Yeah.
But it's-
You think it's predetermined.
It's a play.
100%.
No, no, no, it's not-
Oh, so before you think they go, you're going to win this one?
Yeah.
It's like a movie fight.
Everybody knows that, but that's the fun of it.
It's like watching a drama unfold.
It doesn't matter that they know.
And by the way, he does say you do a dance with your partner sometimes.
It may flip in the moment of who wins and who doesn't win.
It's a play.
They're doing a live play.
Yeah.
Right.
It's fun.
It's fun.
I mean, they're like theater kids who love to lift weights.
It's really what it is.
You're like a theater guy that loves lifting weights.
But it was-
I want people to know that I know how wrestling works.
Wasn't Hulk Hogan.
But wasn't Hulk Hogan.
Hulk Hogan's move.
But some people do get deep in it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
What?
He had-
The leg drop.
What people loved about Hogan was that last minute of being down and out and making a
spring back.
Yeah.
To represent.
That encapsulates-
America.
Rocky.
Everything.
It was Americana.
Of being down.
Yeah.
And then he put the finger up and that's you.
Yeah.
With somebody who just-
That moment.
And people are going, oh my God.
I watched the whole thing.
I just wanted to see the sex tape more than anything.
Wow.
You never played it.
They never played it.
Oh, yeah.
Wow, wow.
They do leave out a lot of stuff.
They do give him his flowers.
Especially because he died.
He died three months after the documentary was finished.
So they do give him his flowers, but they leave out so much fun, interesting shit.
They leave out a lot of these documentaries.
They leave out a lot.
Too much.
Yeah.
So let's talk about Doc a little bit more.
Doc, how do you feel being back?
I feel great as far as just, you know, this is just one episode for right now.
Like I said, I'm-
He's not back forever.
Yeah, yeah.
He's coming back to say hi.
Well, and to let the fans have some peace and some ease about it.
Because they don't know.
They were speculating.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A lot of them.
And man-
Well, can I tell you my dream?
Yeah.
The funniest part about Bobby, he goes, let's talk about you, Doc.
And then stops him.
Straight back to his fucking-
Oh, yeah, no, please.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
You're right.
You're right.
Let him have the floor.
I'm sorry.
Have the floor.
I'm sorry.
I mean, he played-
We had a court case an hour ago.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Go ahead.
What was I saying?
I'll tell you.
You were saying how the fans, when you departed-
Man, y'all have no fucking clue.
I mean, you know, but you don't know based on the opposite side of where I was on.
I had people stop me walking in the streets of New York.
Like, they went, hey, man, go back to Bad Friends.
I'm like, are you fucking-
I go to the grocery store, they stop me.
I go to every fucking where.
It's always somebody.
I'm just like, fuck.
And so it was like, that's why I kept telling y'all, I'm going to do this episode.
I got to come back and just make sure.
And then just to just-
Because he already know he's been forgiven because we already texted and we saw each other.
And now we talked in front of the improv.
So he already knows that.
Yeah.
But it's mostly for him and the fans and all of us.
It's like-
There's this camaraderie we have and we have it even when we see each other on the streets
and go play like we did the SOH and VSA shit.
And we just, you know, there's this thing that goes beyond podcasts and goes beyond.
So I just wanted to let the fans remind y'all that that's what it's about, punk asses.
You know how this all started, right?
So I had been texting with Doc anyway.
And I was in the Dominican Republic for my sister's wedding.
And I saw a man.
That looked like Doc.
And I texted him and I said, dude, I saw a guy that looks exactly like you.
And it made me think of him.
And we just started chatting.
And he said he maybe would come back on the show.
And I said, well, you holler when?
I said, well, we're going to be doing it.
And I get back.
He's like, I'll come through.
And I think it was about time.
That's him.
That's who?
No, that's not him.
I call it just finding black guys on the internet.
Yeah.
I Google black guy.
Would you?
Black guys in the Dominican Republic?
You know, my sister sent me a picture because I remind her of Asians all the time.

eventually
that we could go on
tour
you and I
and Doc

with us
go all over the world
and that's
my dream
I think for me
it's like
I want a redemption
story as well
