Beyer Ultra, only at The Home Depot. What's up, friends? Welcome into Fantasy Focus Football on a Wednesday, September 23rd. The boys are back in town. You might get this fine, so be careful with how much music you play. Sorry. You have six seconds, right? No, that's actually incorrect. That's not a real thing. That is one thing I actually do know. Hey, alongside my clakes, I'm excited to see your face again, bud, and feel G8s. I'm excited to see my face or my neck. You guys both will. I'm excited to see your upper halves because you guys look good with these neck tattoos today, paying off the punishments. Why didn't you put one on? I did put one on. I put three of them on for what it's worth. Which one's three? Yeah, what did you put on? Let me see yours. It looks like a hot rod, right? I need the coolest one. A motorcycle with flames. I might keep this, actually. Yeah, that's a cool motorcycle. First of all, by the way, I'm offended because we had a pile here of options, and one of the ones that was put in front of my little station here was this. Oh! Oh, the Cowboys one. How dare you? First of all. Those are pretty sweet. Is that eye black? Kind of looks like it. I think so, but it's the wrong team. Those are peel and stick tattoos as well. Chances that I bring those home and give those to my daughters today, 100%. Very high. Very high on that one. You can have them. I'm not. How dare you? They'll probably be like, oh, Cowboys. This is the coolest thing ever, but I'm more of a cowgirl myself. What'd you pick? I picked two. Actually, so these came on little sleeves, and I didn't realize there were two tattoos on the one sleeve. Oh, gosh. I thought it was just one large tattoo. I think this right here is some roses. Okay, got it. And then this one, I think, is more roses, just in a different orientation. Got it. I kind of like it. I think you look good with it. I'm not going to lie. Yeah, two guys now. Yeah. This is what happened. Two guys. This is how it works. You get a couple, and then you get the itch, and you just can't stop. Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo? I have not. No. Never really thought about it. Nor have I. But I have wondered, if I ever were to get a tattoo, what would compel me to get a tattoo, and what would it be? Oh, mine would obviously be an Excel spreadsheet. Yes, it would be. I thought you were going to say, like, you know, if the Eagles won three straight Super Bowls, you would eventually get Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts tattooed on your shoulder. No. Maybe Nick Foles. I could see you having a list of the best athletes from the Brooks School, so that you can have, like, an homage to your wife, obviously, across the top. You know what I mean? When I did my three, I did one for my mom, which is in the middle here. Yeah, I see that. I got three. Yeah, the other one is, I believe it's a rose. Oh, it's over there. Yep. It's a rose around an old CD, so it's very fitting. Oh, yeah, yeah. That's for your wife, Daisy. An old CD is called a vinyl record. That's what old CDs are called, guys. That's all right. But some of these people listening probably don't even know what a CD is. That's true. And then this other one, I think, is. It's a tiger fighting a snake. Yeah, it's basically what Rosie's back piece is. Rosie has a whole back piece that's like a tiger fighting a dragon that goes from, like, her back all the way to her cheeks. She is, like, yeah. You guys are equals in tattoo. Yes. No, she's got more than I do. So you put thought and love into yours. I just picked a cool-looking motorcycle. Yeah. That's coming out of it. That's what you're supposed to do with tattoos, guys. Your dream vehicle right there. Well, very excited to pay off our start of the week punishment. Fields, to be clear. Yes, we'll have to see who has a new punishment this week. Let's dive into a little bit of news here before we get into the show, my friends. Unfortunately, sad news. Jackson Dart undergoing season-ending surgery, my friends. I don't care for that at all. Yes, likely. But we are assuming that this is going to happen if you have Jackson Dart. You need to be making other plans, unfortunately. Yeah, when. Adam tweets that it's. They're considering season-ending surgery, and then his next text is, like, this will be the. It's Jameis Winston. This will be the quarterback for the rest of the season. It's like, okay, we got. We kind of know the writing. Not looking good. It would take probably the Giants, like, really hanging around, like, maybe even leading the NFC East, and Jackson Dart having an incredible surgery slash recovery for him to be back on the field this year. I have Jackson Dart in two leagues. He was my drop player on waivers last night, so it sucks. This one, I mean, this one really hurts. It's like, it always sucks when a player gets hurt early in a game and you're starting him. It takes the wind out of your sails, especially on Monday Night Football, because in a lot of cases, it's if that player scores X number of points, I win my matchup. If he falls short of X, I'm in the defeat lane. But this one sucks also because Jackson Dart, and this is Mike's guy. Yeah. Like, Mike, you thought this had QB1 overall type potential. Maybe QB2 because Josh Allen still exists, but in week one. He's hooked every bit, the part of a superstar. The Giants had the most designed runs for any quarterback in week one. He threw the football effectively. He breathed real life into this Giants offense. This takes not just the wind out of the fantasy sails for all of us that have Jackson Dart, but also just the Giants' prospects for this upcoming year. I'll ask you, though, Malik Neighbors, Isaiah Likely, how much of a downgrade in value does this bring to them? Yeah, definitely move them down a little bit. I'm hoping that. I mean, here's the problem is, we don't know week to week which team is when some are going. You know, but the good news is that when he has played in recent years, he has put up big numbers. I mean, I look back at the last time he had an extended run of playing time, six full games with Cleveland in 2024. Guys, he averaged 20.3 fantasy points per game. Obviously, for putting up those kind of numbers, most of it's through the air with him. He adds very little with his legs. That's going to be good for the pass catchers. Last year, two games with the Giants, 11 points, not good, but then 32.2 the next week. So he can put up numbers. He didn't look great the other night, but obviously that's kind of a. unique circumstance coming into the game. You're not really expecting to play that much. So they'll adjust the game plan for sure going forward. But just the fact that it's Jameis Woods, and we say this about him all the time, there are way worse circumstances as far as backup quarterbacks go. So as long as he's throwing it to neighbors seven, eight, nine, ten times a game, he's going to be fine. And I don't think Isaiah likely is going anywhere. He's a feature of this offense. As long as they can support those two guys, he'll be fine. And obviously, Cam Scadaboose, the other down work anyway. So as long as he keeps getting 17 carries, he'll be okay in the flex conversation. But as far as the pass catchers go, at least it's Winston. We have some hope here. Field, I want you to really quickly, because you do a great job of explaining this. Right now in our game, Jackson Dart, not officially on IR yet. People are like, when can I put him on IR so I can go grab another quarterback? How does that work? When is that change going to happen? I know people are mad about this, and I'm sure they were mad last night when they couldn't just IR Jackson Dart and create an open spot. Yeah, I couldn't do it either. Yeah. Yep. We are all in the same boat. If the Giants put Jackson Dart on injured reserve today, he immediately becomes IR eligible. I'm going to guess the Giants will wait until Saturday afternoon. They did make a bunch of roster moves yesterday. One of them was not moving Jackson Dart to IR. I'm guessing it'll happen Saturday at four. If the Giants come out and say today, Jackson Dart will not play on Sunday, his designation will change to out as well. For now, the only people that are saying Jackson Dart's going to miss time definitively are reporters like those at ESPN. Correct. I know that gets people really frustrated. It's the way it works right now. It's a conversation starter for us at the very least. But Jackson Dart, at this moment, I've got 1007 on my watch. Yep. East Coast time is not IR eligible. And by the way, after that Adam Schefter report, Jim Harbaugh was asked about this, and he said, sorry, John Harbaugh was asked about this, and he said they're still evaluating. So he didn't say he's out this week. So obviously, he's still out. Doubtful. He's not out. Just because. No, it sucks. We get it sucks. We're dealing with it too, but it's just the process, and it's fine. When Adam Schefter tweets it, we know that the writing is on the wall. 99.8% of the time, it's going to be this thing, but we still have to wait for it to actually happen before we can also follow through with it in our game. This will be my last thought on it, because I totally get the frustration. I'm in the same boat I mentioned. I would like to have thrown, I've got a team where I have a short bench, and I have nobody else who's IR eligible. Would be great to move someone to IR. It becomes a problem. I'm just going to use this as an example. If Adam Schefter or anybody, Schefter would be money on it, but if somebody were to tweet, J.K. Dobbins is not expected to play this weekend after he got banged up in week two, and then people said, all right, well, he's not expected to play according to a report from this outlet. We make him IR eligible because we declare him out, and then he ends up playing on Sunday because it's a short-term injury one way or the other. That's the gray area, right? So you the team to say it, or the team to put the player on IR for our system to deem the player IR eligible. I get your frustration. Please take it up with my Clay NFL. That's right, my Clay NFL. One more question for you. Put your NFL live hat on for a second. I think the Giants, maybe look at a quarterback, maybe give Derek Carr a call, maybe just to throw an answer there. There's what I was thinking about. Oh, that wasn't for me. I thought you were asking me to put my NFL live hat on. Sorry, Mike. Sorry. My guess is they. Probably hold the fort with Jameis Winston, because if Jameis Winston doesn't play well, then they're not going to be able to play. they're probably not going to be staying in the race like they could be one in three before you know it if he does play well then they're just going to ride it out with jamis the one that i think is just interesting and i have no reason to believe that this is going to happen there's just been a lot of people speculating on this would you call minnesota about jj field jj was of course in that draft where the giants are trying to move up to trade up for drake may right yeah i i just don't know if he's better than jamis winston and it's a developmental piece but also like darts the quarterback next year anyway you definitely then trade mccarthy well i'm not ready for the jackson dart offseason conversations that i think are going to happen if he does in fact miss the whole year i think you're going to hear a lot of like jackson dart's really talented we haven't seen it for a prolonged period of time and the bigger question is whether jackson dart can actually stay healthy yeah another quarterback's not staying healthy unfortunately not only is caleb williams likely out although that's not a technically official yet tyson bajan in the concussion protocol and so it feels like case keenum is going to be our starter here guys can it get worse than what we've already got mike let me ask you this how have you adjusted the projections with now this third string quarterback under center yeah and we'll keep an eye on that for now i still have bajan in there right now i believe bajan bajan's in the concussion protocol obviously we'll monitor that i'll make that change if it looks more like he's going to sit out this week yeah um but it'll go i mean obviously i moved the offense expectations down as we went to bajan smart goes to keenum we'll move it down a little bit further as well but really i'm not sure it really matters much if it's keenum versus i don't know i mean here's the thing bajan hasn't scored get ready for this i looked last night he hasn't scored 13 points in a fantasy game since you're ready for this this is wild 2019 you mean keenum gosh you know what did i say oh yeah yeah keenum yeah 2019 was the last time he scored 13 fantasy points in a game he has just not played very much he has played one full game over the last three years it's kind of unreal so this guy's been around a while but he just hasn't played he's just kind of chilling as a number two or three quarterback uh yeah i definitely have concerns about them especially going up against the good eagles offense so i don't think i think it's fair to say there's no lineup locks in chicago right now uh there's some borderline guys like burden and loveland deandre swift of course but swift in terms of the pass catchers yes i would say burden and loveland are the closest but uh i'd be nervous about this one for sure at least for this week so i'd be nervous if caleb williams were out there playing them right now just because of the match of how good philadelphia is yeah their defense is they allowed two touchdowns to kim ward last week both on runs um i i actually think i'd be slightly more optimistic about the pass catchers if case keenum plays over tyson baygent pro experienced gonna get the ball out quickly because he's not mobile caleb williams is like extremely mobile tyson baygent's a good athlete case keenum is a dad bod enthusiast at this point of his career most like guys had an unbelievable run i think if he wants to be a coach one day he will be he's got like he's incredibly well respected but case is a good athlete he's got a lot of experience he's got a lot of experience he's got a lot of running around the pocket and like doing a bunch of extending of plays you say did you say keenum over baygent you would prefer i would prefer for the purposes of guys like roma dunzay and colston yeah that's my feeling on it uh it's it's a hornet's nest for either of them whichever does start in place of caleb williams um and it will be big for the arm wrestling community if tyson baygent starts do you guys know that his dad oh that's right one of the greatest yeah like one of the greatest arm wrestlers in our country so if baygent starts i don't know how many anecdotes we'll get about arm wrestling over the next four or five days best arm wrestling movie of all time um there's only one that i know i was gonna say wasn't on your sports movie list so yeah what is it over the top with sylvester stallone he's a truck driver he moves the thumb guys come on someone else in chat has got to be able to help me out we got a random i'm sure they do yes last one really quickly field i think you were in on chuba hubbard throughout this off season and this is not a take a victory lap but unfortunately jonathan brooks set for surgery if you have chuba you're gonna have a free runway for probably at least six weeks if not more yeah and to be clear this jonathan brooks injured reserve move is not because of injuries he's dealt with in the past this is a core muscle injury he's of course dealt with a knee injury in prior seasons i think it was a calf or a groin in the preseason but let's be clear my hesitation coming into the season was are you going to overtax a player who has been injured for two straight seasons yeah i felt the panthers did not overtax jonathan brooks but if you want to extrapolate this to later on in the season when he's back yes or even next year i just think the most likely path for jonathan brooks to eventually becoming a featured back is for him to first show that he can be a part-time back for a full season you have to be on the field giddy up for chuba for the next maybe the whole season truthfully yeah i could just i've said it i said it yesterday whatever day it was i think he might just be this year's version of what james connor was for all those years i think you're right i thought that was a good comment i think you're right i think you're right i think you're right yesterday yeah squarely in the rb2 mix going forward and next man up there is our old friend aj dylan aj dylan that's fun you know he's kind of bounced around the league hasn't had a big role since he was with the packers big quad former yeah oh yeah so uh he's gotten a little bit of garbage time work in weeks one and two but now he has a path to maybe 30 of the carries or so wouldn't surprise me this often so uh not a guy you're racing to add right now but uh situation of mine are certainly a interesting insurance running back because they don't have anyone else i mean trevor trevor h and slash etn is on ir he'll be back in a couple weeks but uh they're pretty shorthanded i think they signed someone to the practice squad but i'll have to i think i may have seen that this morning like all right let's how about that that's right yeah awesome friends awesome working working from last week let's pay off what everybody looked like mike why don't you give us what your lineup was i think you didn't do too bad my friend i did it i it was uh you were second place in week one second place in week two like this one that crushed it yeah david montgomery uh was it uh ouch uh garrett will i chased the chase the three touchdowns in week one can ever do that i should have known better garrett wilson found the end zone great well and then how about this guy travis kelsey oh maybe pick the perfect week to use travis kelsey 25.1 points but that was not good enough to beat field eights yeah so mike scores 76.06 fantasy points that's a darn good lineup there and only one dud yeah you look great those other three were fantastic what about you feel remember i led the proceedings last week with brock purdy who certainly paid off with 28.48 fantasy points deandre swift was my running back isaiah likely was my tight end swift and likely were both fine but the big one was i pivoted remember this i said this on the show friday oh yeah they flowered my original pick we let him do this my pivot was to davante adams as they was out they was out davante adams was very much in 39.5 fantasy points so adams said it could have had a great day and i could have still beaten you but no he had to put up 40 well the more important part is like it's it's nice to win starts of the week but you don't want to lose starts of the week and guys i should have just not used davante adams because he outscored daniel's whole team yes he did you guys both could have just started one quarterback and you would have outscored my entire team justin herbert fell flat second week in a row guys it's awful javante williams only eight fantasy points mike evans boy it's weird brock purdy did really great for field only 8.4 fantasy points for me and then there's no way colston loveland does it again one he did it again fantasy points i have a total of 25.58 you guys had a combined three players that scored more than my entire team by themselves i had two of those guys on my week one team in one that's disgusting well you should have to spend twice the common thread right now is justin herbert and colston loveland are the ultimate letdown players in starts of the week because back-to-back weeks they've been on starts of the week and back-to-back weeks the person who rostered them lost so i'm glad that daniel and i by rule cannot pick either of the players again i don't want mike's gonna pick one of those two guys very soon and they're going to go off definitely that's gonna be the week wait everyone loses it's still on there we need to cross that off oh that one's got to stay on. All right. So as a reminder, I now have to spin. the loser punishment. What's the new one? Is there a new one? Wear rival gear. That's an easy one. That's a boy. It feels like kind of a nice. Here you go. Let's see. Yeah. A little nicer. I actually don't mind these tattoos for the record. There's a couple on there that I'm a little bit weird. I'm not loving the beer mile. I don't really love the smelling salts. I think those are fine. Whack the leg. Let's do it. All right. Here we go. In a three, two, one. I'm going to spin, spin, spin, spin, spin. If you get spin again, it would be hilarious. As the wheel is spinning, we're slowing down on. Oh, you've got to be kidding me. Wax leg. I did not want that one. I just texted you guys about this. Oh, my gosh. Yes. Anything but a wax leg. All right. Can I say something, though? If anybody at this company would be down to have their leg waxed. Yes. And not make us think about it. Do we need to do it live on the show while we give analysis? I don't know about that. Can we take a video afterwards? We're just saying, okay, that's what we do. You immediately were like, no, I don't want to be in the room. You do it at home or something. You do it at home, I'll close my eyes. The person who literally got a tattoo on TV back in the day, that's you. I feel like you are about as down to have your leg waxed as anybody at ESPN. Absolutely. Absolutely. Well, good luck with that. I'm glad I didn't get it. Have you ever had a leg wax? No. Not a leg wax. No. Have you ever had any part of your body waxed? Yes. Do you want to ask me a couple more questions? I think I'm good there, Daniel. I just wonder if maybe. Well, I was thinking maybe you have a tattoo. Like, you know, if you had a chest tattoo, would you have to wax? They shave us. They'll get you shaved before you do all that just because of it. All right. Moving on. Before we go, Sanders check-in, guys, by the way. Let's do it. Sanders check-in. None of us got it this week, unfortunately. We had a couple of decent options on the table, but none of us were able to hit. Diami Brown actually had a couple of targets. Didn't Diami Brown like have a near touchdown? It was very close. Yeah. Yeah. Roman Wilson, not quite as involved as we thought. And Kyle Williams. Ditto. Yeah, Kyle Williams, again, we thought he'd get a little more run. Had a few. Had a few targets, but again, didn't hit for that long touchdowns. So we're stuck at 0.5% when we are picking again this week, my friends. Back on track. We also have what I'm calling the stink of the week. I forgot to solicit this. Presented by Daniel Dopps, week three, week two, start of the week team. Yeah. Presented by Flatulence. I'm asking to see the best, worst fantasy lineup each and every week. I'm going to do this after Monday Night Football. And for that, we present the stink of the week. Amazing. All right. And this week, stink of the week. A lot of great options. Housers. Toby Montana, Lenny Lou, 3-3-2 on Twitter. Let me give you this lineup. He lost by 112 points. This is an amazing, amazing outcome. Tell me when you hear the bad player on this roster, because I don't see any of them. Justin Herbert. Saquon Barkley. Chase Brown. Malik Neighbors. D.J. Moore. Dallas Goddard. Javante Williams. Jadarian Price. And the thicker kicker, Harrison Mevis. All right. Without looking, that lineup had to have scored 120, right? I mean, that's so, that's too good. It's half PPR, and he scored 35.4 fantasy points. That's unbelievable. That's brutal. He played against Javante Adams, who scored 35.5 fantasy points. His opponent could have literally left his quarterback to running back, other receiver. Two flex tight end and defense, or sorry, kicker unavailable, and he would have still won. Can you imagine that? Your opponent messes up, and they only start like one player that's like by week's injuries. They only have one player. It's Javante Adams, and they win? That'd be your whole lineup? That literally happened. Javante Adams out-sported at the start of the week. Literally. We're talking about it like it never happened. Is this your burner? You both did it to me. Yeah. That's brutal, Field. That's a tough stink of the week right there. That's three players that didn't even hit one fantasy point. Yeah, that's really. That's really bad right there. That's really tough. That might be. That's a candidate. Definitely, we went from non-PPR last week to half-PPR this week. It might help our audience if next week we find more stinks that are full PPR, just because we talk about full PPR mostly here. We do. But yeah, that's a tough. It's not like if you had given that full PPR scoring, this would have been a monster number. It would have been like 43. That guy might score 180 this week. Yeah, that's true. He's got a good team. If Jadarian Price is healthy, and same with Saquon Barkley, he will be in good shape. All right. Let's talk about. Let's talk about some of those guys actually speaking up players in week three. A couple of rankings here. We're going to bring to you a full screen with some of the top rankings. Talk about a few of the guys starting at the quarterback spot. Number one, obviously, Josh Allen. Lamar Jackson, Brock Purdy, Patrick Mahomes at four, and then Jalen Hurts. That's the top five. Six through 10. Tyler Shuck at six. Dak Prescott at seven. Trevor Lawrence at eight. Drake May has fallen all the way to nine, and Jordan Love. Now at 10. May's a slow start. He's not Drake, Drake May-May anymore. No. That's bad. It's not so good. Do you guys. Do you both. Because these are consensus rankings. Do you both have Drake May inside the top 10? I do, yes. I believe I'm at nine, right where he is. I believe I have him at 10. We'll get into it. Yeah. We're going to talk about him here right now, actually. Well, then why don't we talk about him right now? All right. Yeah. That was my pick for the quarterbacks of the week here on Drake May. It's two games, so sample sizes are small for all of these players. Finding good or bad things can be. Can be hard to come by, depending on how those first two weeks went. Not with this first one. Yeah. Well, let me give you the things that have gone well so far for Drake May. All right. As we are thinking about his prospects for week three. Okay. And next. Yeah. Okay. He has the fifth most rushing attempts amongst quarterbacks. Like, we know that Drake May is a very mobile quarterback. Yes. He's an elite athlete, and he was nearly the MVP last year. He's a very, very good quarterback. Right. If you're looking for silver linings, he also faced two legitimately good defenses for two weeks. And in large part, because they played against Drake May, the Seahawks and the Steelers have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Yes. Again, they're just two weeks, in large part, because they played Drake May. But my gut's talking to me on this one, though. Mm-hmm. I just. Something about the way this kid is wired and what we saw last year. I mean, me going out on a limb, imagining that Drake May can bounce back. This kid's an absolute stud. I think he's hearing the noise. This Jacksonville defense is good. I don't think it's as good as Seattle's, for sure. I don't think it's as good as. I don't think it's as good as Pittsburgh's, either. I think Drake May bounces back this week. This is not a must-win for the Patriots. It's only week three. But for a team that plays Buffalo next week, after giving away week one when they should have won that game in Seattle, this feels like a very consequential game for the Patriots in Jacksonville. Even without A.J. Brown, I think Drake May has his best game by a large margin in week three. As someone who has Drake May on a lot of squads, it is a must-win. Because I've started 0-2 in part because of him. It's a fantasy win. Yes, it is a must-win for me this week. I think he bounces back. I still have him as a starter as well. You've got him even higher than us, Mike. Yeah, I'm actually at seven. I thought I was a hair lower. But again, there's so many quarterbacks in that range, it makes sense that I wouldn't remember if he's seven, eight, or nine. Yeah, look, including the playoffs last year, under 18 fantasy points and seven straight. But again, context matters. They played Pittsburgh, Seattle twice, Denver, Houston, and the Chargers during that run. I mean, it's been a brutal stretch of defenses for him. Jacksonville has faced, so far, John Watson and Bo Nix. They're allowing 9.3 yards per pass attempt to the second highest in the NFL. So, perhaps there's room for May to get going through the air. And again, he can make value with his legs. I don't even think it's a good call. I mean, we had him, like, top three or four quarterback, right? We downgrade him because of the matchups. And he appropriately followed suit and struggled against two good defenses. Now it's more of a neutral or plus matchup. He should bounce back. If he doesn't, then we can panic a little bit because something's wrong. You've got to know better than to talk to Clay I about a gut call field. That's silly. That's just silly. Who's your quarterback of the week, Daniel? My quarterback of the week is Patrick freaking Mahomes. I believe that is his middle name. I believe it is, yeah. Guys, Patrick Mahomes has been unbelievable, actually, to start the season. He's been amazing. First two weeks have been great. 21.6 fantasy points in week one. 28.9 in week two. And then he gets the Dolphins in week three. Six total touchdowns for Patrick Mahomes through the first two weeks. Dolphins have also allowed six total touchdowns to quarterbacks through the first two weeks of the season. This is a great situation that he's set up for an easy must-start in this one. The projection, though, Mike, I wanted to ask you about this. It, like, feels low to me. 19.6 fantasy points. I think part of that has to be, and tell me if I'm wrong with this narrative, there's got to be a little bit of concern that they just, like, get up by so much that there's not much passing in the second half. I mean, they do all their damage. You think it's going to be a blowout, but the other side of, like, that blowout is what if KW3 has three rushing touchdowns and Patrick Mahomes has 185 passing yards and one passing touchdown? Yeah. I mean, that's definitely a part of the formula is game script, of course, and we do expect them to win this game handily. You know, Ken Walker is projected as RB2 because we expect him to be running the football a lot and at a high level. So we do. They are. They were very run-heavy in week one, but as I thought would happen, as I talked about throughout the offseason, they shifted right back to throwing the ball last week because Andy Reid loves to throw the football. That does help Mahomes a little bit, but, yeah, I think that, you know, again, Miami's allowed the most fantasy points to running backs, the seventh most to quarterbacks. I mean, you should be able to run the ball against him for sure, and that could limit him a little bit, but again, he's QB5. That's the highest we've had him so far. He's going to be QB2 for me, to be clear. Yes. I mean, the projection is QB5. I know. My ranking is QB2. You guys both have him as QB5. I have a league in which I have both Drake May and Patrick Mahomes, and I am starting Patrick Mahomes, obviously. I told you guys that was my dilemma coming into week one. I was like, money where my mouth is, Mahomes over Drake May. I did it last week as well. I'm doing it this week, and it's not because of them. Like, it's not. not just because of the matchup, right? Like, right now, my confidence index in Patrick Mahomes is on par. than my confidence index with Drake May, which is just classic because in this league that I have, Drake May, it's this salary cap keeper league, and players can be extended after their second year. And I am telling you that every, and I don't think I'm exaggerating here. Every time I've extended a player, which you're only extending guys that you think are A, good, and B, their salary increases pretty significantly when you do extend them. It's like, they're not only good, but they're good values. I drafted Drake May for a dollar and a $200 budget, so I extended him for two years to get it up to $11 for each of the two subsequent, for the third year, fourth year, and fifth year. And I told the guys, I was like, given my history in this league, I'm telling you that Drake May is going to be playing in the XFL next year. Like, it's just the way it works. And of course, the first two weeks, Drake May has been brutal, and that league has a ton of Patriots fans in it, so they are mostly blaming me. Yeah, that's not great, unfortunately. It's definitely my fault. This game is in, oh, good. No, you go. I was going to say, the game is in Miami. I just wanted to check the weather, because sometimes there's, like, trap games at Miami early in the season when it's super hot. 87, partly cloudy, a little rain, so nothing to me, nothing to worry about. Let's be honest, Mike wanted to check the weather in Miami to see if he could get down there real quick for the weekend. I was thinking, should I take the pot off Friday and fly down? That's it. Mike, you know who hasn't disappointed so far? I'm glad you guys are finally seeing some of the things that I was trying to tell everyone about this offseason. You're right about him. Tyler Shuck has looked good. So far, through the first two weeks, and it's only two weeks, you heard a phrase that you were right about him. About him. Yes, only one. I'll give you him. I'll give you that guy. No, yeah, he's been, look, red hot. His fantasy outplay, his last four games, tracing back to last season. 21.9, 21.8, 23.2, 22.4. His two best games have come this season as well. And actually, if you go back even further, the four games before that, he had 17-plus in all of them. So he's had 17-plus fantasy points in eight consecutive games. Right now, I know this is inflated by what happened in week one with the overtime game, but leads the NFL in completions and passing yards. The passing volume, as expected, came back to earth last year. Efficiency was still the same. Remember I was saying he was 7.3 yards per attempt last year? 7.3 in week one, 7.4 last week. So progress, but basically the same. But he did start running again last week, which is a huge development. 9-for-23 and a touchdown. They play the Raiders this week. They've actually been better than expected. They slowed down Justin Herbert. Malik Willis, but they've also faced 7th. We can't say that. They've faced the 7th fewest pass attempts. The Raiders saying that they have been better than expected is also like saying the Chargers clearly haven't been as good as expected. And then you played Malik Willis and the Dolphins. Yeah, Justin Herbert may have slowed Justin Herbert down as much as the Raiders did. No doubt. Really good test for Tyler Shuck in two weeks, because which is against the Vikings. Because there's a part of me that I have Shuck ranked 6th. I'm right there with you guys. I'm in line for this week. If I were going to make the argument against Tyler Shuck going forward, it would be, well, you know, he kind of feasted on bad competition down the stretch last year. And this year, he's been aided by the fact that his team has been so bad in the first half that the game script has been so fantasy friendly that it'd be nice to see him A, against, like, not a terrible team, and B, like, do it efficiently and do it for 60 full minutes as opposed to 30 minutes. But then you look at their schedule and you're like, I don't know. There are a lot of teams that are going to move the football against effectively. Yeah. The Raiders this week, the Falcons next week, not scared there. Obviously, the Vikings I mentioned is scary in two weeks. Giants, Steelers, that game is in Paris. That would be tough. Browns, TBD, Panthers, Bears, Bengals, Packers, Panthers, Bucs, like, Cardinals, Falcons. There's very little. So, as much as I'd like to see him just, like, string it together against good teams, like, that may matter next year, but it may not matter this year. By the way, if we were going to list his hardest games of the year at Baltimore, we, too, would have been on that list, and he just did great. But again, like, he did great when they were getting smoked in the first half. I don't think their defense is going to be substantially better going forward, though. I mean, he should be busy all year. I think I would be even more convinced that this is, like, nothing to worry about whatsoever if he had come out and this was a game that they ended up winning by a touchdown, but they were never down 17 points. Sure. I think there are two things to me, and then I'll move on from Tyler Shuck. One, I think like, his connection with his receivers looks legit. Like, him and Chris Olave. Chris Olave just looks unbelievable. He'll be discussing the wide receiver, by the way. He's getting Jordan Tyson back in maybe a month. Devon Vallee has looked really good as well in that offense, and I really do think that, um. Nope. It just left my head. Running backs. Yep. Jawan Johnson. That happened to you, I feel like, the other week. It happens all the time. Dang it. Yeah, let's dive in. No worries. Welcome to beat. Whatever. What are you going to do? Just yell, wow, when you think of it. That's right. Alright, let's talk about some running backs my friends. I want to do our stock watch later, so let's get to it. Jameer Gibbs at one. Kenneth Walker the third at two. Christian McCaffrey, Bijan Robinson, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Ashton Gentry, and James Cook. Those are the top eight. Chase Brown, Brees Hall, Saquon Barkley, Devon Achan, Omari in Hampton, Javante Williams, Bucky Irving, and Cam Scadaboo. That's the top 16 there of running backs so far this week. And then 17, 18, and 19. Chuba Hubbard, DeAndre Swift, Aaron Jones, and Kyron Williams. Guys, can I talk to you about DeAndre Swift a little bit? Go for it. Hit us. My guy, I don't think, did I not see him in the top 20? Maybe I messed up there. Uh-oh. He was in my top 20, but we'll get to him in a second. Yes, we will. Good board bet action coming up. DeAndre Swift, 32.4 fantasy points in week one, and then last week, obviously, the Bears and Vikings game was really tough. 12.9 fantasy points. He's the only thing that actually looked good. The thing that I'm hanging my hat on, and the reason why he's still a starter, when all of the other Bears don't give me that same confidence, he had 19 touches in both of the games. Daniel, he could have so easily been 21 fantasy points for DeAndre Swift. Yes. He fumbled on the one yard. On the one. He puts that in. He gets an additional 8.1 fantasy points. Yep. Scored less points this week, but actually played more snaps this week. It's a 60-40 snap split right now between him and Kyle Menungai, but he has gotten literally all of the goal line work. He is the only one being used at the goal line. He's also their better pass catcher. So, even though this is a really tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, last two running backs to play them, they're not, you know, burners J.C.M. scored 12.6. Tony Pollard scored 7.5 with the running back, or with the quarterback situation and the, you know, what the Bears are going to be at. We've all just, like, lowered DeAndre Swift to more of a low-end RB to adjusting our expectations, unfortunately, against Mike's difficult defense. Say it the same way. Mike, who's your guy? Mine is Quinshawn Judkins. I'm thinking this is the week for him to make a leap forward after a slow start for sure. Obviously, a terrible start so far this season. He now actually hasn't cleared 10.1 fantasy points in five straight games going back to last season. Wow. With five targets last week, he's played almost 70% of the snaps this season, and now they, after two road games, they come back home and they face Carolina. They've allowed a league-high 406 yards to running backs through two games. He's bad. And I know Chicago crushed him week one, but don't forget, they allowed 148 yards to Atlanta's running backs last week as well. I think Judkins, this is the week. If it doesn't happen this week, guys, it's panic time. Yep, I would agree on that, Mike. I, uh, this Cleveland team, they proved a lot of people. Isn't this guy wrong last week? We'll see whether this offense might just get to, like, even if it's below average, that would be well above what I thought it was going to be, especially after what we saw in week one. Like, I thought we were talking about a bottom three offense in the NFL. Yeah. If they can become the 23rd offense in the NFL, that is good enough for Quinshawn Judkins to see his fantasy value rise. They have the piece. It's the O-line that really scares me. They have the skill, guys, for sure. They just have to bring it all together. I gotta see it for more than one week from Deshaun. I agree. Yeah, I agree. Thank you to Therapy Field. Most interesting running back. Say again? Mm-hmm. Most interesting running back name on the list, Devon Aitken. Mm-hmm. We have a gigantic gap in our rankings here. Mike is up at RB8. I'm up at RB15. Not quite in the middle, but close to the middle of where Daniel is at RB20. Let's do the good and the bad here for Devon Aitken, like we did with Drake May. The good for Aitken. If I told you a player was second in running back snap percentage, seventh in running back receptions, fourth in running back target share, you'd like all that, right? Yes. The bad is that he's getting a lot of volume, but not getting. He's not very efficient right now. He's 58th in fantasy points per touch amongst running backs. Yeah. And 42nd in his percentage of runs gaining 10-plus yards, which, as Liz noted yesterday, has been one of the strengths of Aitken's game, is explosive runs are part of what he brings to the table. I'm lower than Mike, obviously, higher than Daniel, but I am definitely worried that this game against Kansas City is a blowout, which I think there's a chance, despite what his snap percentage shows in the first two weeks, that if this is an absolute blowout, that the Dolphins, who are thinking about the future in general, are going to start to pull the cord here on Devon Aitken in the third and fourth quarters of games. I'll say they didn't last week. I mean, that's why I'm so high on him is the fact that they just were exactly what we wanted them to do in week one, and we criticized them for not doing. They did in week two. I mean, they just kept giving it to him over and over and over, and he got to, what, 100 yards? Or he was right around 100 yards in that game, and it just takes one. I mean, if he does that again and has one big play, if he finally starts scoring, even if he scores six touchdowns this year or something, like, he's going to hang in there with this volume plus those touchdowns. Like, he's going to be okay. Potential board bet between you two? He will not score six touchdowns this year. Oh, I was thinking, like, RB8 versus RB20 for this week. What's the difference? RB14? I'm happy to do that. It could be touchdown-based. Whatever you guys want. Also, he won't score six touchdowns this season. I will happily take that board bet for season one. Okay, is that two separate board bets? Yes. Okay, so we have two separate board bets. One for this week. You're saying RB14 or worse. You're saying RB14 or better. Devon Aitken will finish as RB14 or worse in week three Von H.M. will finish better than. 14th? No, you said 14th or worse? You say 14th or better, and we can tie if it's RB. Field gets 14th or better here in week three. Put her on the board. Also, I'm going to do this because I really want to do it. I say Devon A. Chan, unfortunately, does not score six touchdowns in 2026. I think Devon A. Chan will score six touchdowns here in 2026. Do the playoffs count, too? What? I almost said no, but then I thought about that question. I got you. That was so good. Thank you, Michael. Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss. Jackson Smith and Jigba. Amon Ra, Jamar Chase, Puka Nakua if he plays. Justin Jefferson, Chris Olave, CeeDee Lamb, and Devontae Smith at the top eight. Zay Flowers, Parker Washington, Garrett Wilson, Drake Wallenberger, Malik Neighbors, Christian Watson, Tedro McMillan, and Nico Collins, top 16. And then Jalen Coker, George Pickens, Jalen Waddle, and Ladd McConkie round out the top 10. Top 20. Coker and Parker shooting up the board. Seriously, they are. Guys, I told you about Tyler Shuckfield. Why don't you tell me about his pass catcher? Yeah, let's talk about Chris Olave, who this could be very quick because I just want us to think about introducing him into that elite tier of wide receivers. I'm with you. Like, we're not talking about him in the same territory as Puka and Jamar Chase and guys and being like, really? No, like, yes. So far, he's fourth in fantasy points per game amongst wide receivers, second in routes, targets, and catches, third in receiving yards. This goes back. To last year as well, where he had this remarkable breakout season. And I know they've had very favorable game scripts, as we talked about in the Tyler Shuck conversation. But if you just watch the player, it just feels like he's due for a highlight reel play or two per game. What an amazing player he is. What a great story of a guy staying healthy and producing at the level that, remember, the Saints made this very bold and audacious trade way back in the day when they acquired Chris Olave, where they gave up an extra first to Philadelphia, which Philly turned into like nine good things because, they're the Eagles. And the Chris Olave big bet they made has now paid off. He's just an awesome player. He is a top seven wide receiver in all of our ranks. He's awesome. Yeah, he is. He's trending up. My guy is trending the wrong way, fellas. Rasheed Rice. I can tell you after week one. Yeah, two for 19 and a touchdown in week one. Four for 83 on six targets in week two. That's progress. Although, about half of those yards came on, like, the end of the second quarter. It was like a garbage timey sort of play. So, that was a little concerning. Target church, 12% this year. It was 28% over the last two years. So, a lot of red flags here. The good news is the snap share, the route participation are career highs for him. So, hopefully, that will turn into more reliance. But it has not been there so far. The reason we're going to keep him in our lineups this week is the matchup. Miami, five touchdowns allowed through the air despite facing the third fewest pass attempt. So, it is a good spot. But, again, much like with Judkins, if it doesn't happen this week, we're going to have to have another conversation. The only, if I'm trying to find a justification for why it's been slow to start, how it can get better is if that knee, injury is something that he is, you know, healthy enough to play through. But he's kind of a ramp up guy throughout the year. But otherwise, yeah, it's a dire situation. When he gets the ball, he looks good. Like, to me, he looks good. I feel like he's not limited and he's running well. But it's just they're not dialing a place for him. That's been the problem so far. Been a dramatic shift. That was the anti-Rashi Rice case. Maybe they're going to run the football a thousand times a game. So, just something to keep in mind. Guys, I did the thing that Mike did. I actually picked a wide receiver that's outside of the top 20 on this list. You didn't see the name. Emeka Abuka on there. I did not, yeah. He is not a top 20 wide receiver right now. Hasn't busted in either of the first two weeks, but he also hasn't lived up to the expectation of the wide receiver one without Mike Evans. 11.3 fantasy points against Cincy in week one. 10.3 in week two. You know who leads this team in targets? K. Dotten? Ted Hurst. Actually, it's four guys have 10 or 11. Bucky Irving. Emeka Abuka does lead this team in target with 11. As well as Bucky Irving with 11. And then what? Ted Hurst and K. Dotten have 10? As well as Bucky Irving. K. Dotten with 11. Isn't that a problem? That known volume king, K. Dotten, has as many targets as wide receiver one Emeka Abuka through the first two weeks of the season. I mean, the Bucks got to be on the short list for most disappointing teams in the league. They are, especially. Chargers are obviously the number one. Yeah, they talked a big game, too. They were talking a little. There was supposed to be two chips on Baker's shoulders, right? That was going to be a thing, and we thought he was going to take a step. And now this week, unfortunately, gets the Brian Flores Vikings. We are moving all of the Bucks down because of that. I just wanted to mention it because normally we were hoping to see something I think this is another week that it's probably going to be another struggle for Emeka Abuka. I'll say this. I think he'll be fine. Let's do some tight ends really quickly here, my friends. Tight ends for the top 10. Trey McBride at one. Brock Bowers, Dalton Kincaid, Travis Kelsey, and George Kittle. That's the top five. Six through 10, we've got. Dramatic pause. Sam Laporta, Tyler Warren, Isaiah Likely, Colson Loveland, and Tucker Kraft. Guys, it is a tough season to be a Travis Kelsey is washed guy. He is not washed, yeah. At one fantasy points in week one, it mostly came on one big play, but then 25.1 here in week two gets the Dolphins. Even though we're a little more out on Rashi Rice, we are more in on Travis Kelsey this week. He's an easy auto start for us at tight ends. Set it and forget it. Let's just own it. We should have talked about him plenty more in the preseason. We should have. Like, we didn't make anti-cases for Travis Kelsey. We just kind of said, like, yeah, I'm going to be fine. We focused on Rashi Rice and Ken Walker III and the. He's been more than fine. He's been awesome. The clock hasn't turned back. Yeah, no doubt about it. I hate to say it. Tucker Kraft, a big boost last week in snaps and routes. Actually played 100% of the Packers snaps, but fell from six targets to three targets. 65 yards to 15 yards. Nine and a half fantasy points to three and a half fantasy points. It was a big dud from him, but Jaden Reed is now out. They're going to have to run this offense through Watson, Golden, and Jaden Reed, especially with no running game. And Atlanta's already three touchdowns to tight ends. So Tucker Kraft, despite the duds, still hanging in that tight end one conversation. Yeah, big game tomorrow night for them. Playing at home against Atlanta. Thursday night football. They got to look. Not just. They got to look the part tomorrow for me to feel like Green Bay can really compete in this division with what I think will be Minnesota and Detroit and Chicago all there. The wider. Excuse me. The tight end 17 in terms of routes per game is Isaiah Likely. But when he's on the field and he's running routes, he's getting the football. He has top three in fantasy points, catches, yards, targets, and target share. I know the quarterback is new this week. It's Jameis Winston as opposed to Jackson Dart. But he had nine targets, did Isaiah Likely, from Jameis Winston. His 27 passing attempts this past Monday night with Malik Neighbors, whether it's still getting up to speed with the knee injury or dealing with that shoulder injury on Monday night. He's not quite himself, it seems. And there's really nobody else, right? Darnell Mooney, Malachi Fields. The running backs are not really prominently involved in the passing game. I think Isaiah Likely is just here to stay as a top 10 tight end week in and week out. So how many targets do you think he gets? This week, I'll go with eight. Wrong answer. Likely nine. That's the right answer. God damn it, it was right there. It was right there. It was right there for you. Right there. Did tattoos impact your ability to process stuff? I'm disappointed in you. I think that's what it is. Let's dive into the mailbag really quickly before we move on with this show. I want to pay off a couple of questions. Oh, no. This is from Mama Dot. She knows I have to wax a leg. She is bummed for me. Oh, Daniel, I am so sorry. It's all right, Mom. I'll be real smooth, like a surfboard. What? Thank you. Jeff, see, the neck piece actually works for Fields. Fine, I'll keep it. I like it. Yeah, for what it's worth, I do like it, Field. Hey, I got a text from our producer, Addison Walton, this morning, guys. I want to ask you this quick question. Haven't heard from a local friend in news. Hits me with this question today. Long-time listener, first-time caller. A player in my league got frustrated and dropped Colston Loveland last night. Whoa. What percentage of your fab would you spend to pick him up in a 10-team PPR league? If you have anyone that overreacted, whether it was Loveland or anyone, it was like, this happens sometimes, right? Oh, definitely. Yeah. This is, I think what's tricky about this one is much like, so Puka Nakua was knocked out of a lot of knockout leagues, right? Yeah. But I was like, do I bid a little less? Because people might be like, hey, he might not play this week, and he was out last week, so I might not have to spend as much. It's kind of like that with Loveland, too. Like, you might not have to be super aggressive because so many people are scared away. On the other hand, it just takes one person. 30% was my percentage. Yeah, that's where my head's going, too. I think that's a good number. I also want to, I always want to have some money me and the kitty. say 30 percent are you a if you have a hundred dollar budget and you say 30 percent would you just put 30 or would you put you're not a put 31 to not be on the even thing i mean that is like a serious strategy no it's true because people do tend to think in round numbers yes sure if you want to put 31 bucks okay so then should we do 32 no no okay all right all right all right you know what you're kicked out any more questions we have questions from chat all right let's keep on moving then we're gonna try to get to more later on in the show we're gonna do a stock check on the top 10 and adp stock up and stop down suck down we kind of did this a little bit yesterday with liz field yeah why not do the top sometimes we just breeze past the absolute superstars and don't talk about them at all they don't really need to be talked about but i thought it'd be interesting to look at the top 10 players yep based off their pre-season or their final pre-season adp and if you were to give them a quick doesn't have to be this you know deep dive stock up stock down or stock neutral how would you assess them so one through five jameer gibbs bjorn robinson um to march jason smith and jigba christian mccaffrey almon ross st brown james cook and also cd lamb so this is not exactly redrafting the top 10 but just give you a sense of it we can start with jameer gibbs and i think you can even at pick one you can still i think stock up would be in play i think so yeah yeah he was my first i had him as the first overall pick he was first on my overall board uh but if i was drafting today i would take him zero with yeah i would yes yeah now i think stock up for for jameer gibbs only because the question was him versus say uh bjorn robinson yeah and he's had two great weeks bjorn had a dud week last week and the volume is real like dan campbell was not shy about giving him the ball um as much as yeah i don't know if they'll make he'll make it 18 weeks like that but for now yes stock up him and kenneth walker are the two running backs that we'll see if they can sustain what they're doing so far workload agreed yep how do you feel about bjorn though knowing that the first two weeks have been difficult with the quarterback stock neutral because he was amazing in week one and he gets michael pennix jr back starting this thursday night so i'm stock neutral on bjorn i agree i think if we did this again he would still go to agreed i'm with you on that i don't think i would change that jamar chase hasn't looked too bad i mean he did in week one last week though it looked like classic jamar chase would that change for you yeah i think this is interesting i think at worst i i think stock neutral is appropriate for jamar chase you could make the case that he could be stocked down because there is a wide receiver that if we redid it today might go higher than jamar chase but i think stock neutral is where i land because it's a long season the target share is still going to be incredible he's an amazing talent and he was awesome and what might be the worst matchup we'll have all season this past weekend agreed is puka nakua just an obvious stock down because of how well the other wide receivers have done in the beginning of the first round yeah i think he's i would say down slightly that's where i would go it's borderline neutral because if he comes back healthy this week he'll be fine he was fine in week one even though it was a very tough situation for that offense i still think he'll pay off his adp so it's tough to say down but it's down slightly right it's the it's slightly down because even if he does return this week the thought process coming into the year was like yeah puka can afford to miss a game or two and just be better than every other wide receiver in the game just we'll talk about jsn in a minute but just because of what jsn is doing like that might have changed the calculus a little bit and by the way had he played the other night he would have had a decent chunk of those davante adams for sure points as well so it was good to see that offense play at a high level and if that continues puka will be fine all right the first not tier one running back and jonathan taylor guys i feel like he's he's kind of to be honest in this offense because i don't love the passing game daniel jones doesn't do it for me we haven't seen a lot i mean i feel like tyler warren has not delivered the way that we had hoped and so by two touchdowns to me and it's like the one thing that does keep working in this offense and isn't going to change is jt so i haven't seen enough to move him like stock down because they're going to keep giving him the ball yeah but it's not a stock up situation neutral for me neutral is probably where it lands um jackson smith and jigba pro up one dot if you told me you not 1.01 because i would still take your gibbs but like if you told me you wanted to take him 1.01 right now with the safety of who he is and his offense and his his upside yeah it's pretty crazy i mean in in a low volume passing offense yes with a backup quarterback for all but i think one passing attempt so far this season it's been unbelievable he's 44 percent target cheryl do that for you everything is funneled through him and how many other offenses do we have that like basically everything for our game is funneled through kind of that one guy jadarian price the running backs like there's not like a clear cut guy there is no tight end one really there is no other wide receiver this is exactly what you want in fantasy yeah and no one could cover him doesn't doesn't like uh doesn't send us off to the right like i think there's a relatively decent chance he finishes as a best wide receiver three i'm not ruling out wide receiver one or two but uh for those that may be coming into the season we're like you know i'd like to see it again before i really throw him into the category of jamar chase here you go i think we can it's happening again that argument to bed for now what about cmc guys i'd say stock neutral here yeah i would agree neutral we might have been leaning down after week one but after week two he's right back doing cmc things because i think where it gets interesting for cmc and where he could surge back up is they've had two non-competitive games yes and they're going to eventually play more competitive games i know they played the rams in week one a non-competitive version of the rams and i just don't think that kyle shanahan can help himself and in those moments i think it'll be holy cow christian mccaffrey had 18 carries and 11 targets yeah at the end of the day he's still their franchise player like he's gonna be they're gonna run the offense through him like they always do do you feel differently because i know you obviously the anti-cmc guy you're stock neutral i would be stock neutral if i had drafted cmc because the reason why i didn't is because i don't think he will last the entirety of this season but if i'm looking at fantasy as a one-week game i think that cmc has been neutral at the running back spot yes uh i'm on raw saint brown stock up what a legend he's just he is as steady as it gets a great floor i don't even just the reality is like when we're talking about tier one wide receivers going into next year it's going to include at least four of them which would be jamar puka jackson smith and jigba and i'm on raw yeah at least i say neutral just because i think he's about where he was drafted is where he belongs right now on the board but he's fantastic to your point uh yeah wide receiver i think i texted you guys about this when we were ranking the other day yeah it starts out great yeah it's been a mess it's wide receiver we have to talk about this at some point it's pretty gross right now after the not as deep as it felt like no i love amon raw and jsn because they kind of give me the same vibe as guys like they're not like you know field stretchers in the same way they not that they can't but like you know uh jamar chase or puka nakua last week he did but he's i would say that what the thing that i think about the two of them that is really cool is that like they are about as low maintenance as it gets for wide receivers they are just like painstakingly kind people yep there's something about guys with hyphens in their names right jackson smith and jigba amon russ st brown nick westbrook akina that's right yes guys like that you know that's a good one you're right yes i was trying to think of an alan lazard name and i couldn't come up with a good middle name for alan lazard the goat yeah yes that's fair uh how about the last one last two here james cook neutral yeah james cook week one was against houston it was a tough match up right and honestly you know josh allen's told the show in week one i think he would go in the first round right now because all these other names including guys that would jump into the top 10 but not enough to say down the james cook pop-offs coming really soon yeah he's we're due for a 22 carry 152 yard two touchdown game very soon if he's not a first rounder he's a high end second round exactly right at that point they just might have some and then cd lamb how you guys feel about cd lamb stock up because through two games it's the cd lamb show and the george pickens show is currently off broadcast right like it's not great well and he's still an amazing talents he'll be fine he'll be fine but uh george pickens has been 10 or fewer points in first two games will he can i just throw this out there just like this is the the little devil sitting on my shoulder like i know he'll be fine but also he's playing on a tag that he doesn't want to play on he doesn't have a contract for next year well this yeah the scare is if he like gets a hamstring that gets tight and when you say hamstring do you mean hamstring that gets tight or an or a hamstring i guess both gets tight yeah like both could be like yeah his targets have been there though i'm not worried about pickens okay i think i'll be okay i mean it's only two weeks but not worried would be a better way yeah it's just a point yeah it's just a point yeah exactly disappointed but his big game's coming too yeah practicing that for later in life huh i'm disappointed girls all right i'm not worried don't you worry they're four no no no to me oh okay okay okay i'm not mad i'm disappointed yeah uh quick question who's in your top 10 now that wasn't before i think there's one name that's obvious hey don't walk yeah that's it yeah i put him in the middle of the first round but otherwise i think that's uh that's about it for now he's the only one when i was looking at this the only one that would move into the first round from you right now definitively yes yeah with you on that anybody else just as a part of this really quickly and then we'll do our last thing anyone else that you just have like think as a huge riser or faller that you want to talk about i know we only did the top 10 anyone else that stands out uh big risers or fallers that would creep into the top 10 no i think a lot of is the one that's probably closest to getting other than kw i had a so i i redid like my top nine just to do for this exercise i had nine and then the 10th i was stuck it was cook genti henry hn lamb jefferson alave like there's a lot of guys to pick at that one two also the two island positions and i'm not sure we would do it differently but like we're saying wait on quarterback maybe you should have just drafted josh allen maybe he's really good long season ahead there because you can like you know we we have seen some really you know patrick mahomes would be the argument against right yeah guy was the 14th ranked quarterback on adp and he's quarterback what which who same with trey mcbride you like a trey mcbride has clearly been the best out of all of the ones but if you wanted to say hey you could have gotten dalton kinkade or isaiah likely or something that was the strategy was wait so far so far but you know we'll see brock bowers probably back in week three we'll see what that looks like all right we got two questions from our mailbag here really quickly this one comes from christopher ruiz are we trusting drake london this week guys trust is a strong word but I am starting Drake London this week. Yeah, I agree. And by the way, we'll talk about this game in greater depth tomorrow. Yes, we will. But the numbers with Michael Penix Jr. have been excellent for Drake London. Agreed. This is not like Tua, there's still a little bit of a wait and see. It's definitely better than Cooper Rush. Like Michael Penix Jr. plus Drake London equals a lot of fantasy points. Agreed. Another question here from our chat. This one comes from Andy Cohen. Is it time to trade Hampton in case the Chargers continue to stink? Is this the Andy Cohen? Nah. I don't think that you would. What are you getting? I was going to say that. At least he's coming off like a 17-point outing, right? You like that. But the vibes aren't great. I don't think you're getting. You're not selling high on a guy. There's not a lot of Keaton Mitchell. I want to see more passing down work, but he scored. He's getting all the carries. He's a very talented young player. I know the schedule is hard, but they have to play better than this. They have to, right? Agreed. It can't be. It's going to be very interesting. They're going to have. Adventure, they'll have a good offensive game. Maybe not multiple, but a. And we're going to be like, here we go. Time to course correct. We're back. I love the chat. The chat's hanging out with us all day. By the way, I appreciate all of the love for Over the Top. I should have brought that as my sports movie last time when we did our random ranking. You guys need to watch it. If you haven't seen that Sylvester Stallone movie, go check it out. Speaking of random rankings. Yeah, let's talk about some best late night eats as our random rankings in chat. Please let us know where your favorite place is to eat late at night. Let's do it. Maybe you've had a couple of adult beverages. Maybe you're just up late with your friends hanging out. You want to go get some food? Yeah. Or whoever came up with this is younger than us because I don't do this like I used to. I used to. This is hard. It's different. In college, we definitely did. Oh, definitely, yeah. In college. Okay, so then let me ask you this question. When you're doing this, was this a list of nostalgia or a list of like right now with your 40-year-old body? I did current. More nostalgia. More nostalgia. Oh, you did current? I did current, so we did it a little differently. Okay, good. All right. I love it. Love it. All right. Do you want to start off then? Yeah. Are we doing three, two? All three. Yeah. Okay, so my three is pretty generic. If I happen to be out late and I'm whatever, just out having a night, it'd be like wings and fries at a bar, you know, like at the bar. That's a good one. At the bar, wings and fries like that. At the bar? Yeah. With that there? Rare, but that's what I like to go to. Mine is late night, sitting at home. I don't want to do a lot. Yeah. I want to be able to just have something that's easy. So you know what I do? Pop open the freezer, put the oven on pre-heat, and I throw in a Red Baron pizza. Smart man right there. That's right. Well done. Catering to the crowd. There we go. Frozen pizza always hits late at night, and it's super simple. You don't have to do anything. You just put it in and hit the button. Frozen pizza always hits. I literally made a joke the other day via text about I'm trying to score free Red Baron pizzas from Field, and now you just see what I can do about that. That's it. See what I can do about that. Number three for me, late night diner. Yep. I went with Denny's just because it's the one that's available to most people, but you get a jump on breakfast. You get a breakfast sandwich, and of course, as you know, everybody knows this. It's like this is science. The grease in the breakfast sandwich helps cure the hangover before it starts. Everybody knows that. I'm talking a gigantic bacon, egg, and cheese, preferably a little extra greasy, and hammer that thing with a hash brown, and you're basically cured. I love it. Good call. I'm in on that. What other, like, because it's basically any breakfast, late night breakfast joint. I know you picked one, Denny's. I went to college locally. I went to college at Wesleyan, and it's about 20 minutes from here. We had a place called O'Rourke's Diner. Great spot, but there was a 24-7 diner as well that's no longer in operation, but we used to go there. I love those local 24-7 diners. I mean, it's basically, you know, like the Waffle House kind of thing, but a lot of the local places are really cool that are open super late. All right. Mike, give us your number two. By the way, if I was going to do nostalgia, there was a place, Spuds in Kutztown, that they actually flooded and shut down, so they only have a food truck now, but I miss that place so much. So if they're out there, someone's listening from Kutztown. Shout out to Bud's. I need some Spuds so bad. Oh, Spuds. Spuds Burger, and they have the best french fries on the planet. I'm telling you. Anyway, if I was going the nostalgia route, but the current route, is so, you know, Megan and I like to frequent New York City. Yes. So we do sometimes, because I'm an old man, we eat dinner on the early side, but we like when we're in the city and we're up late, we like to go to second dinner sometimes, and our favorite spot, again, to sit at the bar and get late night dinner, second dinner, is Tao. Yes. Love Tao. Love Tao, New York City. Go get some noodles or something, some sushi, so that's one that's close to my heart right now. Noodles and sushi. Daniel has brought out a book. I wrote down a bunch of them. Oh, okay. Text them to me. All right, number two. What's number two for you? Number two for me is, similar to Field, this is sort of an open-ended interpretation of how you want to look at it, but for me, late night, a lot of times I'm coming back from a show, just went to a place, I'm watching a band, I'm hungry, going to stop somewhere. It's that late night Wawa or Sheetz or that gas station that sells food that they will make for you right in front of you. Okay. Those are my favorite, and they hit the spot late at night, especially when you're coming back from like a late, like a sporting event, too. Yeah. It's perfect. I don't know if you guys have ever been to Wawa or Sheetz. I've been to Wawa, for sure. 1,000 times, yes, of course. Oh, Sheetz, for sure. Yeah, we had a lot of Sheetz where I grew up, and then Wawa became more popular the closest you went east towards. Sheetz is more of a PA thing. Yeah. Very similar to Wawa. This is a very, I went one like super niche-y call is down at Rutgers. I went and visited a friend there once, and we went to a day football game, and then after the game, we stopped at, they called them, I think the carts or the trucks, and they called them, I think they were called the fat carts. Yeah. And you would go, and you would get these sandwiches, and they'd be fat whatever, the fat football, the fat cup, the fat ruler, whatever it is, right? And it would just be everything you could think of. Like, rather than getting like mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers and french fries and have them each served in like a tray or a dish, they just put it, it would just put them all, the grease trucks is what I'm being told they are called. It's amazing. Again, I think I, like 99 Cent Heart Attack are, producer Zach, I think he has Jersey route, so he knows what I'm talking about here. These grease trucks were amazing. So, again, it might be like a very specific demographic that has any idea what I'm talking about, but I felt amazing coming out of it. I would say, and I'm not, it might not be the same thing, but grease trucks, like any food truck late at night, like if you can find a spot that's open late at night for food trucks to give you some options, like food truck food, it's so good. God, it's so good. All right, Mike. Yeah, maybe in my prime, but again, you're so old, we get it. I have to go back to this. Look, I wanted to answer this honestly. Danny Glover and lethal weapons. Light on the dressing? Yeah. Well, here's the thing. No croutons? You know, it's not like the old days and I wanted to answer this honestly, but here's the thing. They're like, is it okay to snack at night or not? Are you supposed to snack before bed? But I am a snacker. Are you going to say bowl of cereal? So, it's not bowl of cereal. It's just in general. Like, I do snack at night. So, it's my sofa. My sofa is my top late night eat spot. Wow. I get a snack. I'll make a peanut butter sandwich. A peanut butter sandwich? I'll have some chips, you know, something like that. It's never healthy. I'm bad about it, but last night I had some peanuts, you know, watch the show with the girls. I can't tell if I am furious or if I respect you so much. I don't know right now. Look, here's the thing. The people who are listening who are 40-ish year old males have to relate to this. Yeah. We don't go out at two in the morning anymore, right? This is what we do. We sit at home, we snack. That's the honest answer. You're close to the restroom. There's not a line. You guys, say what you ever want, but yeah, exactly. That's the honest, real answer. All right. What do you got? My honest, real answer is there is only one. You're walking around New York City. It's 1.30 in the morning and you see a spot that says 99 cent slice. 99 cent slice of pizza. You walk in and it crushes every single freaking time. You're right. I like the slices of pizza that are also like three, like they're like the size of three and you buy them as one single slice. They never miss. All right. That's a good answer right there. I thought that there was one clear, undisputed answer and I'm hoping the chat agrees. Taco Bell. Yeah. Oh my God. Come on. You're right. That's an easy one. You don't play into the fans. That's the nostalgia one. Dude, come on now. I can't eat that anymore. I can't do it. No, but again, the grease saves you from the hangover. That's science. Super greasy. Do you eat it even though you can't? No, not anymore. Okay. I tried once in the last 20 years and it didn't end well. White Castle. Dan S. says White Castle. I haven't been to White Castle ever actually. You guys? Oh, Jack in the Box. So good. Mr. Aleman says, yeah, Jack in the Box is delicious. Canes. Yep, they got a Canes here in Connecticut now. We just brought one in. There we go. Late night taco stand. Yeah, I was going to say, if I'm in California, there's got to be some. Totally. Burritos and tacos. Absolutely. Logan T. Waffle House. Ultimate upside. Any breakfast diner in the morning like that? Waffle House. Legit. Yep. Yeah, good call. New Haven style pizza. Steel City Yang. Love that. There's some great pizza down there. New Haven City, or New Haven Pizza. Yeah, I would do that too. I'm a Steelers fan. Steelers fans are everywhere. Yeah, they are. Everywhere. They have one of the biggest fan bases across the country. Great hanging out with you boys today. I had a blast. This was a good time. Do it again sometime soon. We're going to be back tomorrow. Why not? Mike, you going to show up, or is the weather in Miami too nice for you to come in tomorrow? You need to not skip a week, or skip a day this week. A guy skips one day or two. His life turns a certain number once. Yes, right? Exactly. All right, guys, we love you. Don't forget to love each other, and be kind to yourself. You deserve it. We'll be back tomorrow with a Thursday Night Football preview, and our week three preview. Part one. Are we keeping these tattoos? See you. Bring them back tomorrow. I am. I am. You can.
