Radically Transparent: Using AI to Critique Your Own Ideas- Mohamed Nabil

Marmaid Nabil, a visionary philosopher and author, promotes radical transparency and intellectual growth through AI-driven debates on his own publications, aiming to refine ideas through criticism rather than winning arguments. He introduces "enlightened populism" as a necessary response to the dominance of blind elitism and misinformation, urging individuals to actively seek out opposing views—using tools like AI and diverse search engines—to form more accurate understandings. Central to his vision is a world governed by direct democracy via citizen assemblies, designed to address global crises including climate change, pandemics, and economic inequality rooted in billionaire wealth. He argues that basic human rights—such as access to shelter, clean water, education, healthcare, freedom of expression, and international connectivity—must be universally guaranteed to foster a more just, creative, and empowered society. His journey from grassroots activism, like the Harassas campaign, to global thought leadership illustrates a deep commitment to community and collective transformation. Ultimately, Nabil believes that true intellectual evolution requires vulnerability, openness to criticism, and the courage to challenge established systems—offering a compelling call to action for individuals to question assumptions, seek truth, and participate in a more transparent, equitable future.

I believe debate is useful. I'm not trying to convince everyone to follow my lead. I'm trying to convince people to seek the truth. The best way I know to seek the truth is through research and debate, long-form debates. I actually feel full of strength because my goal is to seek the truth. My goal is to seek it's not to prove that my point is right and actually in one instance, in one of the instances provided criticism to my work and accepted the criticism's value. Because I'm not just trying to beat anyone or win against anyone, the goal of these debates isn't to win or lose. Welcome back to becoming gracious. This place we are with on all the journey of unfinished people navigating people's reinversion and the many process of self-becoming. Today we are challenging the very foundation of how we consume information, go around our societies and interact with the future. On this show we talk about personal evolution, but today we are focusing, or rather we are looking at global evolution. What happens when we strip away our ego, demand radical transparency and day to imagine a world united by truth and justice. Joining us is Marmaid Nabil. Marmaid is a visionary author, thinker, and the creator of AIDOP, AIDBates on one's publications, groundbreaking film break via a prompt artificial intelligence to fiercely criticise on break, publishing the on-a-detail transcripts for the world to see. He is a founder of multiple community development initiatives and a passionate advocate for electing populism. A film work designed to cure our society of blind elitism and ignorant trends. From advocating for a single global government, he would buy cities in assemblies to question for a worldwide West Cup. Movement's ideas are audacious, disruptive, and deeply rooted in deliberation of the human mind. He's such an honor to have you on this show today, Mohammed, and I am excited to have this conversation. I'm also excited to join you here tonight. Thank you for hosting. Alright, so you have authored numerous books. You founded community initiatives and created entirely new frameworks for how we interact with technology and Ishhotha. To ground this conversation today, who are you at your core in this current season of your life? I described myself as an independent philosopher and author with three core pillars to my philosophy. First, I created the AI-DUP as you mentioned, which stands for AI debates from one's publications. It's a content creation framework, which involves a content creator, prompting an AI tool to criticize their content and publishing the entire and adds the transcript of back and forth organization within 24 hours of that exchange. Secondly, I codified enlightened populism back in 2020, which is a behavior pattern of communication, a healthy alternative to blind elitism and ignorant populism. We can dig into that later. Thirdly, I'm advocating for the establishment of a global government to be ruled by hyperlocalism as zombies. Yeah, it's great. So you're advocating for massive paradigm shifts like radical transparency with AI and a single global movement, which naturally invites intense pushback. Before we move on, what's the specific challenge that you face behind the scenes in your becoming process today? What's the specific challenge? Yeah, what are some of the challenges that you face in your advocacy for paradigm shifts and in general, the work you do today? It's usually these ideas are radical and audacious as you mentioned in the introduction, or it usually takes time for people to understand what I'm trying to say or to realize the logical points behind what I'm advocating for. So how do you overcome the resistance from people who misunderstand or fear your vision? Using logic and debates, deep debates on my publications. I don't just debate AI tools, I debate with human beings on my ideas and publications. So see that this is a very own conventional path. What do you choose to use AI to critique your work? At the beginning, I was thinking that books and ideas are usually that we are not discussed and debated publicly. So I thought I'd rather start this process and accelerated by discussing my own books and ideas with AI tools. Then I realized that's revolutionary potential within publishing, education, policy making, humanities and social sciences, because you're basically inviting everyone into your thought lab, allowing them to view arguments and counter-arguments, changing their relationship between an author and a reader. People can follow the reasoning behind your conclusions instead of accepting them or rejecting them as based value. That is great, Marmel. So one of your most audacious creations is the I-Dope. We are you intentionally prompt AI to criticize your own publications, and then you publish the road debates within 24 hours. What inspired you to invite such radical public critique of your own intellectual way? My latest book started truth sexy. It answers two questions. What's sexy about uncovering truth? And how can we make truth seeking appealing for future generations? So I'm basically concerned with this point. I don't monopolize the truth. And the best way I know to seek the truth is through research and debate, long form debates. All right, Marmel. You know, publishing unedited critics of your own ideas requires a tremendous amount of vulnerability and a complete surrender of pride. So how does this intense level of transparency share to the way you view your own ego? I don't I don't think I'm surrendering my pride or or and I don't feel vulnerable when I'm doing this. My goal is to seek it's not to prove just prove that my point is right. And actually in one instance, in one of the instances, I provided criticism to my work and accepted the ketism as value because I'm I'm not just trying to beat anyone or win against anyone. The goal of these debates isn't to win or lose. The goal is to spest us ideas through AI effectively making them sharper by responding to ketism refining one's own thoughts. Simply accepting ketism as valid or agreeing to disagree on certain points. And as I mentioned earlier, inviting readers to explore the mechanisms of the thought process itself. Wow. So this willingness to be challenged directly ties into your concept of enlightened populism, which positioned us the antidote to blindly following elites or ignorance in turning trends. So I want you to dive deeper into what's aligned in populism is and what it means for us as a society with the increasing dependency or sort of the increasing evolution of while enlightening populism is a behavior pattern of communication that involves listening to multiple experts trying to understand how they reached certain conclusions and investigating the information to score the truth. It contrasts with the two dominant behavioral patterns of communication in today's world. Blind elitism, which entails blindly following an expert or an elite or a certain issue. And ignorant populism, which also involves the absence of investigation while relying on feelings or trends. So enlightened populism in this world, this era, the age of AI, can be practiced and should be practiced because we have access to plenty of information that we didn't have in the past. And we have more tools that we used to have than what we used to have. And now is a proper time to practice enlightened populism and avoid misinformation and disinformation. All right, so how can the average person actually practice a lighting populism into this rapid trend-driven new cycle? Well, first of all, social media relies on personalization, showing you content based on your own interactions within the platform. So this creates a state of confirmation bias. So people need to spend a little last time on social media, which has a push agenda, and try to spend more time on social engines and LLMs as they have a pull agenda. You can pull information from them. But even social engines and LLMs can turn into equal chambers if not used wisely as they both rely on historical data and to prevent interactions as well. So using private and bonito mode occasionally while submitting queries through multiple search engines and digging deep for multiple sources is advisable. Same goes for LLMs with the additional feature of intentionally getting into a debate with LLM by prompting it to take a position opposing to yours. So understand whether you have a truthful view of the world or not. You must explore the ideas that are opposing to yours. Okay, so you believe that adopting a lighting populism is a prerequisite for the 19th world and that is single government, ruled by citizen assemblies. So why do you believe direct democracy through citizen assemblies would be more effective than our current political systems? Our current political systems are corrupt. We have representatives of democracies all over the world. We just have political shows. People all over the world don't have enough say in what's happening, not in shaping policies. So instead of that, I'd rather rely on direct democracy, people voting for themselves on issues that matter to them and affect their daily lives. So I'd rather have direct democratic participation instead of having a few representatives that are both by billionaires of the al-Gharki all over the world. Okay, so what is the, what do you consider the problem of the main problem of our present political system that you are trying to change today? We have three main problems. We have climate change. We have potentially recurring pandemics and we have billionaires greed. Billionaires greed is represented to child labor and Congo because the material or the cobalt used there is extracted to serve the benefits of billionaires elsewhere. So problems all over the world, extreme poverty and stuff like that and people living below poverty line hundreds of millions of people. These problems exist because of billionaires greed. Along with wars that we are experiencing all over the world, this is I also contribute that to billionaires greed. So these are the three main issues and these three main issues shall be attacking efficiently through a global government ruled by hyperlocal systems and assemblies. We can face climate change in terms of mitigation and adaptation. We can limit future pandemics and by addressing the root causes of the issues and we can tax billionaires out of existence by starting a health cap at $999 million dollars. Part of your vision for global justice is building establishing things like spending internet as a basic human rights. And thereby taxing billionaires out of assistance with a $999 million worth of carbon. So out of eliminating this extreme worth odd in, directly contributes to the intellectual and emotional freedom of humanity. Well, the basic human rights are proposing a shelter access to clean water and food, education, healthcare, freedom of expression, freedom of movement, stable speedy international connections. So shelter and access to clean water and food should have been introduced long years before now, they are long overdue. Education and healthcare, we can say the same about them. Freedom of expression and freedom of movement have to do with our feeling of being incarcerated in various regions around the world. We should have the freedom to move anywhere we want and we should have the freedom to express ourselves freely. And stable speedy international connections, they have to do with the idea of enlightened populism, they have to do with the idea of investigating the information. If you don't have an internal internet correction, now they are justified in the past, you can't solve the problems of the day. So these are the main basic human rights I'd like to introduce and these main basic human rights shall expand the middle class and allow us to have more people working on creative projects, more authors, philosophers, artists, painters, filmmakers. We can have all of these together. Wow, that's great moment, that's really wonderful. Before writing about these massive global concepts, you were on the one founding community development initiatives and the grassroots Arrasas campaign. I'll teach those alien who's only grown experiences, shape the massive global vision that you have today. While I believe as human beings, we learn from everything we go through. So when we founded the Harassas campaign, we were on the street working together, catching those who committed sexual harassment and spraying on their backs, Amah Harassar, and this might have taught me a lot about community, about the idea of spreading outward through a large community, because the messaging was effective and people who saw them on the streets started rejecting or started remembering the need to reject sexual harassment. We have evolved from a grassroots community founder to a global thinker for showing the absolute boundaries of AI, democracy and human rights. Knowing everything you have learned and built, what those concepts of becoming mentee today and who are you currently becoming? While I'm becoming the philosopher, I've always wanted to become and it has been a long process. I had to learn throughout my life experiences a lot in order to reach this step. That's a beautiful moment. It's been a really wonderful conversation. Thank you for joining us today. Radical transparency allows for real-time critique, helps refine ideas through debate, and shifts the relationship between author and reader from one of authority to one of shared inquiry and mutual growth.

Enlightened populism involves seeking truth through investigation and listening to diverse experts, unlike blind elitism (blindly following experts) or ignorant populism (relying on emotions and trends without scrutiny).

Climate change, recurring pandemics, and billionaire greed—especially its role in exploitation, child labor, and extreme poverty—form the core issues the creator believes a global government must address.

Such a system would allow direct democratic participation, increase accountability, and enable more effective responses to global crises like climate change and pandemics by involving the public in decision-making.

By using tools like search engines and AI models to explore opposing viewpoints, avoiding confirmation bias, and intentionally engaging in debates with AI or multiple sources to test the validity of their own beliefs.
