PROOF of the paranormal: Ghosts Caught on Camera!! || Ghosteas Tea Party #123
40m 42s
The episode features multiple real-life ghost stories with photographic or video evidence, offering a rare glimpse into paranormal experiences that feel authentic and documented. From a teenage girl describing intense nausea and a shadowy face in the woods at Barry Pomeroy Castle to a young girl seeing a twisted figure and a child on a baby monitor, each story emphasizes unexplained phenomena. A recurring blue orb follows one listener for years, suggesting a possible familiar or protective spirit. Another story from a nursing home reveals a clear, full-body apparition of a naked man behind a patient, adding to the unsettling nature of the paranormal. Additional accounts include a black-eyed face in a Pennsylvania house, a haunting at a Victorian home with missing items and cold spots, and a photo of a woman in a haunted castle resembling the ghostly wife. All stories highlight physical and emotional reactions, such as nausea, fear, and a sense of being watched. The hosts underscore the power of visual proof in validating these experiences and invite listeners to share their own encounters, making the episode both deeply personal and compelling. The tone remains respectful and curious, emphasizing the mystery and emotional weight of ghostly encounters without sensationalism.
Hi, Ghosties. I'm Macy. And I'm Natalie. I'm telling people's ghost stories as a joy and a pleasure, truly. It is. But oftentimes I wish that they had somehow videoed their experience or had photos for all of us to see. My favorite kinds of emails are those that end with something like and I still have the photo. This is insane. I've brought several stories of hauntings and unexplainable activity that come with proof. Evidence of the paranormal is hard to come by, so this episode is extra special with all of the documentation of our listeners ghostly visitors. I was getting ready this morning and was going to say, "Hey, when's the next time we're going to do a video with proof?" Today. Oh my gosh. I'm so excited. Yes. We've got some spooky ones. Oh God, okay. Let's go. I don't even want a Japanese more. I want to see these videos and pictures. Me too. Me too. So our tea today is Harnie and Sun's Paris. A fan favorite here. It is. And we are the fans. We are the fans. I used to think that was my own. All right. Well, I'm ready. Let's go. I don't know if y'all can see it on the table, but I'd like to just present to you my mug that Natalie Gommie. Oh, that was part of my apology. A mug gift. It's beautiful. It's pretty cute. I liked it. But our first story today comes from Ruby. Hi, ghosties. I've been listening for a while and finally decided to send this in. One day, a couple of months ago, I was listening to an episode. I forgot what one. And someone mentioned Barry Pomeroy Castle, which sent me spiraling because of what happened to me there. Anyway, this happened when I was around 13 or 14 and it's still something that at 20, I feel like it has a hold over me in a way. This took place at Barry Pomeroy Castle in the Devonshire countryside, near where I grew up. As young teens in Devon, with nothing to do, we obviously went to a haunted castle. We went late at night, somewhere between 11 p.m. and midnight. We parked along a narrow lane and walked up through the woods to reach the castle grounds. I remember feeling completely fine in the car, not on well, not stressed, and just generally okay. But as soon as we started walking up through the trees, I felt this sudden wave of sickness hit me. It wasn't nerves. I wasn't even particularly scared at this point. It was physical, intense nausea, dizziness, like my body just wasn't right. The further we walked, the worse it got. I ended up being sick twice on the way up, which made no sense because I felt absolutely fine minutes before. When we reached the grounds, the air felt heavy and still. The ruins were just dark shapes against the sky. We were standing in the middle of the open area, taking photos and listening, while my friends stepped at who weirdly agreed to take two young teens to the woods at midnight, the scariest bit of the story I think. I'm joking, Paul. If you're listening to this, you're amazing. But my friends stepped at, talked to it on what I now guess is an Alice box. We stood there laughing at him because in all fairness, he looked ridiculous. But to be honest, if that thing went off, I think I would have collapsed and started crying uncontrollably. After an hour of nothing, we decided that the ghosts, Paul, had promised us were there. Clearly, we're not fans of us. So we decided to leave as it was getting cold. Then we heard it. From one end of the ground to the other, the sound of horses running. It started faint like distant hooves striking the earth, then grew louder and clearer as if they were charging straight across in front of us. You could hear the rhythm, the weight, the pace. It traveled from one side of the ground to the other and then faded back into silence. There were no horses there, no nearby roads, no events. My friend who I was there with is hard of hearing and struggles to pick up most sounds to the point she now has hearing aids. But even she heard it clearly. At the time, she kept saying she could smell something strong and metallic, like iron, almost like blood. Oh my god. I couldn't smell it myself, but she was adamant and screamed at me and her stepdad every time we told her there isn't a smell. Later on, I looked into the castle's history properly, the Pomeroy family, the later Seymores, the stories of Sieges and imprisonment, the legend of Margaret Pomeroy, said to have been starved by her jealous sister, and now known as the White Lady. The Blue Lady, who supposedly lures people towards the ruins, and accounts of phantoms, a phantom soldiers and horses heard and photographed on the grounds. Oh my gosh. At the time though, I didn't know much about any of that. Walking back down through the woods felt worse. I was taking photos on my iPhone 8 Plus, just pointing the camera into the darkness between the trees, and that's when I started hearing branches snapping, not constant, just single, deliberate cracks. As if something was stepping carefully behind us, but then obviously being raised in the countryside, my first thought went to foxes. And then there were whispers. The only way I can describe it is that it sounded like the wind, but shaped, like it was almost forming words. Every time I tried to focus on it, it would stop, but the feeling never stopped. The entire time, it felt like I was being watched. It was horrible. I felt like I was being hunted, being followed, being toyed with. What unsettles me most, even now, isn't just the sounds, it's the sickness. It came from nowhere. Hit me while we were there and eased off once we'd left. I've never experienced anything like that before or since. The next morning, I looked back through the photos I'd taken on the way down through the woods around that time that I'd started to feel panicked and intensely aware of being watched. In one of them, standing between the trees, was what looked like a face. Not clear enough to make out features in detail, but clear enough to know it wasn't just branches. It was positioned at about head height, pale against the darkness, just watching. I don't have an explanation for any of it. But I've never been back, and I feel a pull every day to go there and see for myself again what it was like. Oh my god, no, maybe just steering the day next time. Yes, many thanks Ruby. Okay, first of all, the second I started feeling sick, we're turning around. That was your sign. Get out of there. Second, I liked the way they said it was like the wind but shaped. Yeah, that was a really good description and I was really into it. I'm really scared. I see you pulling up the picture over there and I kind of don't want to look. I'm already sweating. So it is a little difficult to tell, but I was assuming from like looking through the rest of the pictures, seeing nothing and then suddenly seeing this. Okay. Yeah, here's the first one. They sent two. Here's the first one. You can kind of make out like white shadowy. Yeah, there's like a mist. Yeah, and they circle that you can kind of see the face right here. Oh, I see it. I don't like it. Yeah, I don't like it. You can see where the eyes would go and the nose. Have I ever posted our picture or my picture that I have? No, I thought I did with like it was a picture of Jaden as a baby and there's like a demonic face behind him. No, I haven't seen it. Or I don't remember what you're talking about. You've seen it. Oh my god. Have I showed you all? If I haven't, like I will put it somewhere because it's horrifying. I do not like pictures like that. It was a picture I took of our little brother when he was probably like maybe two, maybe almost two and it was in my mom's room and or our mom's room and it was just a cute little picture of him and in the background in the in the dark because it was nighttime. In the back, you see this really scary face. See, I don't even remember it. Oh my god. I've showed it to you probably like five times, but it's horrifying. I don't remember if I put it on here though. You probably didn't. Oh my god. I have you'll have to see it. It's really scary. Yeah. And I don't like pictures like that. With the faces, they always get me. Oh god. It's spooky. That's a good, that's a really creepy one. Especially snapping that photo in the exact time that you started feeling watched. Yeah. Also, I think that, yeah, that is the second time someone mentioned Barry Pomeroy Castle. I hope I'm saying that right. We're gonna, I need to. We should do it. Pull it up. Yeah. Our next story comes from Rissa. I go Steve's calming Rissa. My husband and I listened to your podcast while he plays video games and I draw. My story is more of a photo than a story, but there is some context to explain. I grew up in the coal mining region of Pennsylvania. You saw signs for the Appalachian Trail all over our usual stomping grounds. So we were arguably in spooky territory. My father is an independent contractor and would often visit the homes of clients to check out their projects and make them a proposal. My parents wouldn't let me stay home alone because I was too young. So my younger siblings and I spent many evenings and Saturday's bored to death cramped in the back of my dad's work truck. One day, my dad was examining a house right along the woods that had been abandoned for a few years. It was in bad shape. Vines crawling up the shingles, broken windows. Inside, you could see random objects scattered around in the darkness, like a fridge and unopened cans of food, remnants of the previous tenants. My best friend came with me this time and we were playing with my new camera. I hand me down for my aunt who is a professional photographer. My friend and I were a strange pair. So we were taking photos of the windows hoping but not really expecting to capture a ghost. Needless to say, we got what we were looking for. If you're having trouble seeing it, look at my friend's face. I blurred her out for privacy. And then look to the left. When this photo was taken, my friend and I were the only ones on this side of the house. I suppose it could have been a reflection of me but the camera was one of those you had to put your eye to. So I would think you would see that in the reflection. Also, I would like to think I don't look like a horrifying black-eyed ghost. Oh my god. We went home after my dad finished looking at the house but my friend and I somehow didn't notice the creepy black-eyed face in the photo. Maybe we didn't bother looking through the camera and got distracted doing some other stupid stuff. A few days later, I was uploading the photos from my camera onto the family computer. I saw this one and screamed. Then immediately called my friend. The face even seems to have a pupil, a little darker circle inside its eye. My friend and I learned absolutely nothing because we continued to take photos in the windows of old houses but nothing Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in the next video.
My friend and I both moved away from PA. She moved south and my husband and I moved up north to Maine, which I bring up to say we both loved your video on Bar Harbor and Acadia. Anyway, thanks for reading my story, and we look forward to listening to more episodes. This one's really spooky. - Oh gosh, okay. - You told me there's one that's gonna make me like wanna throw up and die. Is it this one? - It's not this one, but it is spooky. It's the last one. - Oh god, okay. - The last one's gonna get you. - Friend? - Not friend. - Okay, so I see the friends standing there and not friends. - To the left. - Oh, there's an eye. - Yeah. - There's an eye. - It's not just a lie. - It's not just like a little black hole, there's an eye. - Yep. - There's a person standing in the window behind them. - I'm disturbed. I'm deeply unsettled. I'm sweating. This was the wrong blanket to use. Oh my god, I need like a thin, cheap blanket. Oh my god, this is horrible. - Well, this blanket's not allowing any air and I need air right now. - Marissa has one more story with another photo. Crazy to have two pictures. - Oh god, yeah. Hello again, ghosties. I'm riding this time because my brother reminded me of another ghost photo from my family and this one involves some haunted lore from upstate New York. This photo was taken 10 years ago. Oh no, no, I feel old. Buy my mother during a vacation to Bolt Castle in the Thousand Islands, New York. I know the photo is dark, so you can't really tell, but my mother was standing on the edge of the water looking at Bolt Castle from a distance. So for a person to be in the photo, they would need to be standing on the water. At the time, my siblings were still little, so when they all got in the car and saw the picture, they started crying because they were so afraid. But anyway, brief history lesson on Bolt Castle because it's all important for the context of the photo. Spoiler alert, we think the ghost maybe Luis Bolt, who Bolt Castle was built for. But first disclaimer, I'm sorry if I get any of this history wrong. It's been 10 years since our last visit. George Bolt, a very wealthy hotel proprietor, built a castle on Hart Island, which he renamed Hart Island, as a present for his wife, Luis Bolt, which is the spelling of the names. That's really cute. The project was massive. The castle has 120 rooms and included tunnels, gardens, a playhouse for the children, and a drawbridge. I even saw reports he reshaped the island, so it resembled a heart. Unfortunately, partway through construction, Luis suddenly passed away at only 42 of heart issues. Oh no. So sad. George ended his work on the mansion and never returned to Hart Island unable to imagine their dream castle without his wife there with him. He died 12 years later of a heart attack. When my family visited the castle was still only half finished, and you could tour some of the eerie rooms suspended in half completed silence. We also saw portraits of Luis Bolt, including the one I have attached below. Notice anything similar to the ghost photo, the ring? My entire family freaked out when we saw the pictures of the big ring on her finger. That looks so similar to the shining ring on the hand of the ghost in our photo. If you ever get a chance to check out the history or even see Bolt Castle in person, I would highly recommend it. It's such a tragic story and the castle is magnificent. Thank you for taking the time to read this story and check out my pictures. I will send more if I remember any other spooky things that have happened to me or my family. Though honestly, I wouldn't consider myself one of those people who is very in tune with the mirror world. I'm kind of oblivious sometimes, but somehow my family always seems to get amazing ghost pictures, Risa. First of all, amazing. Second of all, I think I'm as her due. I thought you said that George died. And then I realized it was the wife and that made it even more sad. It's even more sad. It's horrible. Yeah, the wife died before it could be finished. So we think the wife is in this picture. We think the wife, remember, this is on like the edge of the other side of the island, looking out over the water. So right, right in front of mom who's taking this picture is water. And water, oh my God. Louise Boat. Zoom in. Zoom in. The ring shining on her finger. See, now if I just saw the little like her face that read, I would think like, oh, you know, a piece of light or like, I'm not a piece of light. I don't know how you make pieces of light, but I getcha. I would just think it was a glitch. That is a face and that is her hand. And a big shining ring. Now, oh my gosh, see the profile of this face. Oh my gosh. This is Louise Bolt. And look, it's kind of the same shape of the nose. Yeah, I'm convinced you don't have to convince me. Dude, look at that ring. You don't have to convince me. Yeah, that's her. Whoa, reggae. Reggae. That's insane. I like this one. This one doesn't scare me as bad because it's like, she's just hanging out on her island, you know? Yeah, just enjoying her castle. Yeah, the one before was horrifying because it's like, who is that? I'm scared. I don't like it. It looks scary. Yeah. She looks like she's just there. You know, she's not looking at them. She's just a lady in white floating across the lake. That's insane. That is so insane. But I like that one. That one should have been less because that one doesn't scare me. Oh no, that makes me feel kind of freak you out. The picture itself for the last one is horrifying. I'm really scared. But so is this next one. So this is from Claire. Hi, I'm Claire and I'm 13 years old and have some stories to share. Sorry, this takes a long time. I love details. One night about two years ago I was having a late night with my best friend, Cambry. We were watching a movie. I don't even remember what movie. But we heard doors opening and closing from upstairs. We looked at each other and she asked if anyone was home. I said, no, just us. We were scared, but figured it had to be the wind or something. So we went back to our movie. I had a bad feeling in my gut, but ignored it at this point. The sound was still happening to give you an idea my house had a living room and above the living room was a very tall ceiling to the back of the living room was the kitchen and the upstairs was above the kitchen. The upstairs had a balcony facing the living room and the stairs were to the left of the living room. So I guess kind of like a loft type area looking down. All the lights downstairs were off, but the upstairs lights were still on. So as I'm watching the movie, I look and I can see a shadow of something moving around upstairs. I freak out and show my friend and she sees it too. We are both scared out of our minds thinking someone's broken into our house. Then we hear a sound and I look over at the stairs and see a face that I can't really make out, but I see it's body which is all twisted. Like a picture of that yoga spider pose that that's what it looked like. Oh my god. But more messed up. I'm imagining. I'm sorry to keep bringing it back to this, but other mommy. I know, I know that comes up what today. Yeah, today I want to see it so bad. I look at Cambry and see she sees the same thing and we start freaking out. I look back and it half crawls, half glides down the stairs and I can't see it anymore, but I hear it hit the floor. And at this point, me and Cambry are screaming almost in tears, but we're paralyzed on the couch. Just then I see an arm creep around the side of the couch to the left of us. I start screaming my head off. I see it move, but I don't know where it went. It's silent for a minute or two and me and Cambry start calming down when we hear scratching on the back of the couch. We both jump out and run out the front door, leaving whatever it was inside. We run all the way down the street and we hesitate to go back or to call someone. We don't really know what to do. So after almost 20 minutes of us talking about it, we go back inside and I grab one of my dad's guns and we walk around the whole house not finding anything. So we went back to our movie, but turned all the lights on. My next experience was about a week later. I was sitting in the living room and my mom was in her room. I was on my phone when I looked up at the stairs and see a face with nobody that I could see anyway, staring at me through the stair bars. I freaked out, but it wasn't moving. So I took a picture. Then walked in to talk to my mom, assuming it was the dog or something. As I walked into my mom's room though, I see my dog on her bed. When I looked back at the photo, it was still there, but it had been completely blurred over so I could barely see anything. But I can still share it with you. Sorry, this has taken so long, but I have one more thing to share. One time I was in my friend's room while she went to grab something. She came back into the room and sat down in the bed, not saying anything. I looked at her and asked if everything was all right. She just looked at me and said, "Let's take a selfie." I said, "Okay." And we took a photo, but she wouldn't smile. Then she left without saying a word. About 30 seconds later, she came back in and said, "Sorry, that took so long." And then I said, laughing. Today, you'd only been gone for 30 seconds. She looked at me funny and said, "I've been gone for like five minutes." And I reminded her that we took a photo, only a little bit ago, but she said she never took a photo. I looked back at my camera and showed her that's when I saw that she was wearing a completely different outfit, and her hair was down and not up. And it freaked me and her out, but when we looked around the house, we didn't see anything. Thanks for reading all of this. I have more to share. So just let me know if you would like me to share more. I love listening to you guys. Thanks so much. - The photo was real. Like they actually took a picture together. - They actually picture with her friend in a different outfit and different hairstyle. - Burn the house down. - Get rid of it. - But here is the picture of the stairs. And it is blurry, but-- - This is so scary. - You can't tell. - That's a really scary, like everything that I just heard was horrifying. - Uh-huh, uh-huh. - Look at it. - Get it off. - Get it off. - I don't like it. No, I don't like it. I feel like it's like-- - You can see it's eye. - I know, I feel like it's looking at me. - It is. - Something about that picture feels like it is happy to be seen, and I feel like I should not have seen it. - Because it stayed there. It was like, yeah, take my picture. - I feel like it once, oh my God. It wanted to be seen. I don't like that I just saw that. I'm like genuinely really scared. - Very spooky. Also, if you're a kid, stay in home alone, [BLANK_AUDIO]
call your parents before you leave the house and always remember safety first. Okay, guys. Oh my gosh. Okay, Mom. I have to. I have hilarious. She's like, hi, I'm 13. So I grabbed my dad's gun. I know. So please, please be safe, guys. Please be safe. Please be safe. Our next story is a little more light-hearted, but still spooky. Okay. So you'll get a little reprieve before our final two stories. I am sweating. This one is from Autumn. I rode in a couple of days ago about my possible astral projection, but remember, it's something you'll might be interested in. I have photo evidence of it too. This may be a bit long. When I was a young girl, I would notoriously leave my school backpack in my car. It was almost an evening routine for my mom to scold me to go grab my bag out of the car and then do my homework. This night, like many others, she did just that. I sluggishly got it from the couch, and I remember feeling insanely inconvenienced by having to get my backpack. I walked out of my front door, and there, in my front yard, was a blue orb. It was hovering maybe three to four feet off the ground, and it made no noise. At this point, it was twilight outside, and I thought that maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me. You know, when you look at the sun or a bright light for too long, and when you look away, you see colors and shapes. I thought this is what was happening to me, even though the sun was set, and I squeezed my eyes shut in hopes that it would go away. And when I open my eyes, it was still there. Hovering and undulating, ever so slightly, I knew right then that what I was seeing was real. For some reason, I didn't want to take my eyes off of it, but I knew I was sent out by my mom to get my backpack, and she'd be damned if I returned empty handed. So without turning my back to it, I took a couple of steps to the left to get closer to the car. When I did that, it followed me. I was getting scared at this point. It was sort of back and forth where I I'd inched closures with the car door as it was getting closer to me. Finally, I fling the passenger door open and grabbed my back back. And when I turned around, it's closer than ever. I tried to run back into the house, but it gets in the way. I said, "F this, and with my back back on, I make the decision to run to my neighbor's house. As I run, I looked back, and this thing is literally chasing me. I get to my neighbors. I was friends with their daughter, so I start calling out to her and bang on their door. They let me in as I'm crying. I tell them that something was chasing me, and they call my mom. She walked over and retrieved me. That was the first time I saw it. But not the last four years following, I would see it everywhere. It would show up at school, at friends houses, wherever I was, it would be. It would never come inside, though. It lived outside. I grew sort of fond of it. It seemed almost curious, and it never scared me again like it did the first encounter. Over time, I saw it less and less. I grew into a preteen and would solemnly see it, and then one day, it didn't come back until I was 19. In July of 2020, I went on vacation with my family. We stayed for two nights in an Airbnb treehouse near Old Town, Florida. The treehouse had the bed pushed into a corner where the sidewalk had a window. When lying down, you could turn your head to the left and look directly out of the window into the woods. During the first night, I did exactly that. I was trying to count sheep looking out the window. When I saw it looked like a blue light moving through the trees. I thought this was strange since the nearest neighbors were about a mile away. I shook my at the time, boyfriend, to wake him up and tell him I thought there was someone outside of the flashlight. He shook me off, and when I looked back, it was gone. I told my dad the following morning what I saw. We were the only three adults there, and we didn't want to scare my little siblings. That second night, we made a fire, and we're all sitting around it, making s'mores. When my sister started acting nervous and looking over her shoulder. She told us that she had a feeling we were being watched. Her saying this, and what I saw the previous night, made my dad and boyfriend get up and look around the property. They didn't see anything, but it kind of spooked us all. We all went to bed fairly early that night. Check out was in the morning, and I think we were all ready to leave. In the morning, my sister was taking some pictures of the morning sun shining through the trees, and she caught this. When she showed me what she captured, I instantly recognized it. It was exactly what followed me for years. I loved telling the story and having the photo evidence to back up. Back it up is the cherry on top. Some may think it's a camera flare, but you can clearly see it's tail of light. And the fact it's partially behind a plant. It's 2026 now, and I haven't seen it since that trip. I think about my blue orb a lot, and sometimes long for a visit. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your faithful listener. Okay, this one before I even see the picture, I feel like it's some kind of like guardian or something. Yeah. Just a curious spirit that has attached itself to you. When you look at it, it kind of reminds me of like a whisp or a depiction of a whisp like in Brave, the Disney movie, that Pixar movie. Yeah, I don't look at it. It's like got a tail behind it. Like it's cute. Yeah, like I don't think that that looks like something like a camera glitch or anything. It looks like that is actually there. But that coupled with, Autumn has seen it for years. It has followed her around for years. You know, I love it. That's that's a cool one. I like stories like that because it doesn't feel it because she even said like it doesn't feel like it's attacking her or anything. Not just kind of curious. Yeah. I don't know what it is or what at first, the first initial description. I thought, well, maybe it could be like ball lightning or something. But to have one piece of ball lightning follow you all the time. Your entire life. Your your whole childhood. Yeah, no. That's makes sense. That is very very interesting, very very very fake like to me. Yeah. Yeah. I was imagining like the fairies from Zelda. Oh, yeah. That's the image I had. Mm-hmm. But this next one is from Amber. Hi, my name is Amber. I'm a long time listener of the pod. I listen while doing housework. I'm a state home mom. So I listen every day. Sorry that my story is going to be a little bit long. But I always felt like good stories are never short. Very true. So my husband and I bought a house three years ago because we were pregnant with our first child and we wanted to get out of our one bedroom apartment in Chicago. We spent weeks house hunting with our realtor and the house I was obsessed with fell through. And I was discouraged about the process after someone with cash bought the Victorian house. My husband and I fell in love with. And then our realtor said, Hey, I found a house. It's not a Victorian, but it's in a good neighborhood. That would break my soul. Oh, 100%. That's my dream. I would track them down. My dream is to own just a beautiful Victorian. I would be haunting them. I would be the ghost in their Victorian home until they moved just and then I would randomly shop and be like, like Michael Myers in the windows. Are you selling? What a coincidence. I love this house. We'll buy it right now. You know, you scare me. Things happen. We said sure. Let's check it out. So the house was far below the average house in our area. It was far below any of the houses that we'd already looked at. I will say it is a cute house on the outside, very cookie cutter, which I've always hated. But it is in a good neighborhood. So I'm like, OK, let's look at this house. Whatever is in this house was really good at hiding its presence until after we moved in. We walked in and saw a cute little house with a sweet old Polish woman. And she didn't mind that people came to view the house while they were there, but we spoke with owners and they made it seem like this was the best place that they've ever lived. And we asked how long they've been there. And they said one year that should have been a red flag. But it wasn't a red flag because we saw a low price and motivated sellers, which were willing to drop more money off of the asking price. And they were ready to close that day. So we bought the house. We moved in. Then it turns out that the owners before the people we bought the house from practiced witchcraft in this house. And I'm pretty sure this lady brought some bad juju into this house. And after we moved in it started to get weird things go missing or moving entirely cold spots possible mimic unexplained sounds like someone running when there's either no one upstairs or the kids are asleep. Phantom cries while the kids are in the room with us. The feeling of always being watched. The feeling that someone is going to push you down the stairs when no one's behind you. The vivid nightmares shadow figures. Our dog became insanely anxious after moving into the house and often barked at absolutely nothing. My husband just said it was my imagination. And often jokes about ghosts and people living in our attic or in the crawl space. He says if you ignore the bad it will just go away. But I often felt like someone was watching me in the kitchen and in the living room and in the stairwell, the basement and especially in our daughter's bedroom, which was originally the master bedroom. But our bedroom is actually bigger than the master bedroom. So we never moved into that room. Originally our daughter was in the room across the hall from her now bedroom. We used it as storage that room always creeped me out. As there is an energy in that room that gives me the chills. But my husband had decided he didn't want to use the basement as his office anymore. Said he had this overwhelming feeling of depression in the basement and wanted to move his office into our daughter's nursery and have her in the room across the hall. I reluctantly agreed to that because I did want my husband to have an at-home office that was cozy and had sunlight. Our basement is finished, but I'm sure the lack of sunlight would make anybody a little depressed. When we moved our daughter into that room, she was about 18 months old. And we have one of those monitors that's the screen so you can see the baby and hear the baby. But it's not capable of connecting to Wi-Fi. And it's not Bluetooth compatible. So just only one connection to that camera. That's it. So my husband tries to explain this as a glitch or something must have malfunctioned. But I know what I saw. And I will attach photos. So her daughter's face is in the photos that we will blur that out when we show them or completely cut it out. But one day my daughter woke up from her nap. So I left the monitor on the kitchen table because it was lunchtime and I made my daughter her lunch and then I went to turn the monitor off. I saw my daughter laying in bed, moving her arms and looking like she was a
to get comfortable. Her face was facing away from the camera. I didn't know how to explain it, but I turned off the camera after I took a few photos. We're not over sitting at the kitchen table with her. Oh my god. I have a lot of stories at home, but I'm just gonna stick to this one, and we'll email again another time. But I have seen people out of the corner of my eye that I know are not alive anymore because we have photos of them in our home, and I've not seen the creepy child on the monitor since that day. My daughter wakes up almost every night screaming. We hear phantom cries all day. We just ignore them now. My mother-in-law refuses to sleep anywhere except for the couch in the living room. I grew up in a haunted house, and my parents won't even stay the night at our house. They would rather stay in a hotel. And trigger warning for animal death, ever since we moved into this house, our dog went from a normal dog to a dog with such intense anxiety that she ate carpet in the basement, and we had to put her down. And I don't think she would have done that if this house didn't give her so much anxiety because she didn't have the anxiety before we moved into this house. I'm so so sorry. I'm so thankful that my husband and I have decided to put this house on the market, and we're moving as far away from this place. I know by the time you read this, my husband and I will be as far away from this house as possible living in Tennessee. I have tons more spooky stories from growing up in a haunted house and sleep paralysis and some creepy things I've seen in the woods as a child. Stay spooky, ladies. Uh, thanks. Okay, thank you for leaving that house. I was about to say after you tell me all this stuff. Don't be there. Don't say. And we've just lived here ever since. Okay, I'm really scared. I don't like baby monitor things already. Now, like I said, we will cut out her child in the photo, but just know that there is a child smiling behind this picture. There's a child on the monitor. There is it. There is a kid. There's a kid laying face down on their bed. They're they only have one kid. And it was there long enough to snap multiple photos to take a picture. Two pictures because there's a picture without the baby in the back. Three pictures. Oh, three pictures. You can see it's moved a little bit. It's an act that is a child. That's a baby in the bed. While her baby, the only baby in the house is sitting right in front of her. Yep. And they were moving. The kid on the monitor was moving around. What do you do? What do you do? Sell your house and leave. I just have to grab the kid and be like, well, so I hope you were done with lunch. We're leaving. I would be so scared. Baby monitor stories are some of my, like, the scariest stories to me. The absolute scary stories to me. They really are. I've never heard anything like that before. I am sick. I'm disgusted. I'm really scared. The only reason I'm okay right now is because you said you left. Thank you. Yeah. Amber, I'm really glad y'all were able to get out of your house. Or I hope so. I hope so. They said, by the time you read this, so hopefully you are out of your house in far away. Please. Please. Intensey. I hope that there is some glitch in the technology explanation, like your husband said, because I don't think there is. I hate that so much. Because it's like a live feed from the camera. Yeah. It doesn't do like, it's not recording. I would say it's not recording. And, and, and, and, and. If it was like some kind of glitch or something or it was picking up a frequency from somebody else's monitor, it wouldn't show their room. It wouldn't show her baby's room. No, no, not like that. Like, have you ever had a camera slow down or like, paused and then, like, speed up and you see, like, movement really fast and then it goes away. Yeah. Yeah. But if it was some, some kind of glitch in that vein, you know what I mean? No, but also she said she was feeding her daughter lunch. I assume they had been up for quite some time before lunch time. So like, the camera is not that far back in showing the video, you know? Yes. Not hours later. I'm just saying I hope that it's, well, it wouldn't have been hours. She just got her daughter lunch. Oh, she was taking a nap. Never mind. But no, I don't care. It's, it's spooky. And I don't like it. Yeah. No. But we have one more photo that's like X, it was extra spooky to me. Okay. I'm already scared. And to make matters worse, this email was unsigned. So they're anonymous. Oh gosh. Okay. Hello, may see an athlete greetings to everyone here in this story. I love listening to your podcast now and then whenever I crochet or play my video games, it helps me focus. And I love a spark of fear from some of the stories told here. I work in Norway in a nursing home for dementia patients. Whenever a shift is boring and all the patients are asleep, me and my co-workers like to tell creepy stories that have happened at work. One story is told by my co-worker, which I cannot guarantee it's real, but it is very creepy to hear. He was working in another place, same as this one, nursing home, dementia patients, etc. But this one patient was bedridden, meaning they cannot walk by themselves or move without a wheelchair. At night, all the patients have bed gates up. I don't really know the English words for that. It's like a baby crib, but adult size. So the patients are not falling from bed in their sleep. My co-worker was working the night shift when he heard furniture moving around upstairs. He went to check on every room to make sure that nobody was there and sure enough it was. Every patient was asleep. Nobody was in any room or hallway. Also, he mentioned that he was working alone in the whole home. He also mentioned that he told the story to other people working in that shift, and they said they hear furniture moving around on the second floor, kind of creepy. The second story happened to me, and I will attach a picture. Here in Norway, most nursing homes, I work that have a camera in every patient's room. That detects movement. It's very helpful for caregivers so we know when the patients are awake or if they fall or just wander around. One time, on our work phones, we get a notification that there's movement in one of the patient's rooms. We opened the app and the patient was in her room, chilling on a chair, listening to music and drinking coffee. But what shocked us was the other person the camera captured. Behind my patient, there was this figure that looked like a naked man. The person I worked with had the courage to go inside the room to check. I was too scared to go myself. My patient was alone in the room. Nobody else. Why was he naked? I don't know. Here's the picture. I hope I spoke to you guys. I love the podcast. Keep it up. Love from Norway. Why would he be naked? I don't know, but that makes it worse. It does. It's like hereditary. I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want to. I'm scared. Patient. Oh my God. Oh my God. Like a full body apparition. It's not a hazy to where it looks like it's like some misty figure that looks like the body of an old man. Yeah. It's not as clear and solid as the patient sitting in the chair. It's a little translucent. Yeah. But it's it's a fully a man. And don't worry. If you are on audio only and you want to come look, like there's nothing graphic shown here. He's just like shirtless. This is just like. Oh my God. I don't think I've ever seen a picture that clear with like you can see the full body. You see his head. You see his shoulders. You see his arms. You see where his legs are. Yeah. It's a full body. And poor. She has no idea. Poor little ladies just sitting there enjoying her coffee while this man's like looking at her staring at her from the corner. He's in the corner. So that makes it worse. It's not like he was like laying on the bed or like he was caught in motion. He is standing there motionless staring at her. I am so disturbed. I'm sick to my stomach right now. That just it combined a couple of our like spooky topics. It's like nursing homes caregiving. I was already like on edge. That one sticks with me. I've been thinking about that one like every once in a while. Like I'll be doing the dishes and I'm like. I imagine every time we get the feeling that we're being watched something like that's happening. Like that's what's going on in my head. Like there is somebody or something in a corner somewhere watching us. Not like that. You just can't see them. I'm really sick. My head is hurting. Well that is what I have for you today. I told you that last one's gonna like really freak you out. Because it's not like it's like a oh it's a blurry thing that kind of looks like a face like it looks it's a full person. Yeah like I didn't have to point out to you. No I saw it immediately. Oh my stomach is hurting. This is bad. Well I hope you all enjoyed these spooky creepy terrifying photos. We have a lot more. So come back for more. We will do this again. And if you have a photo or video that you've taken of something scary happening please send it in. We'd love to we'd love to show it on the pod. Ghost caught on camera. It's like one of my favorite topics. Yeah me too. It's hard to deny. Like when you're talking when you're telling these stories something you you've got that separation. We've talked about before. And there's also separation. You could be lying but then it's like no it also hears this picture. Or maybe you misinterpreted the moment. Or yeah. Like no but I actually captured it and here's my proof. Insane. I have evidence. I would grossed out. So like this video if you liked it. Share it with your friends if you feel compelled to do so and subscribe for more. We've got another episode coming for you tomorrow. A new episode. A new costume. Stick around. You'll want to stick around for that. Our last costume was it was something. It was something. Also if you go back to that last video, Natalie said if we get it to a million views. Oh my gosh. She will go to Appalachia. So I'm begging you guys to go watch that video. Share it with everybody. I want to take Natalie to Appalachia in the woods at night. I said a million because it will not get a million. That's like so out of the realm of possibility. So keep dreaming people. I'm hoping. Hey, there are some people in the comments who are with me. Like get this to a million guys. Like yes, please, please. I want to send Natalie. I think our highest viewed video is like not even happening. Not even. Yeah. So like 400 something day. There's no time limit. Just eventually 10 years from now. If it does. Natalie will be in Appalachia. Yeah, right. But anyway, yeah, come back for a new episode.
