And then we'd hear dad being angry and stuff like "Are there any more people running like Arthur?" *laughter* Stop snapping your scissors! And I hid behind you. No, no, no! It was a giant one! Welcome back to this week's episodes. Today we're going to be talking about pranks we've pulled on each other throughout the years. Just, you know, typical things only siblings would do to one another. There's a lot. There's a lot. Like we picked a couple but. It was difficult to select just because there's so many and just to remember like the good ones. Yeah. But we've come up with a few. So we hope you enjoyed it. This will probably be a whole series like we'll come up with new episodes and new stories because, you know. Oh, definitely like now that we talk about this. I'm definitely like thinking of new pranks to pull on you guys and then just talk about the. On the podcast. Yeah, later on. Cool, can't wait. *laughter* Like a really long one just like in how I met your mother where he does a slap count then. Oh, those are good. Well. Or the last episode of the year. I get a stay tuned for whatever this episode will come up with. Oh no. Anyways, I guess I'll start off with the first ones. When I was little and. An Estelle in Valentine still believed in the tooth fairy. There was one evening we were at her grandma's house and we were eating pizza. And I still had one of her teeth that was very wobbly and that was going to fall out. And so. So she bit into the pizza and the tooth fell at that moment. And she realized so she ate her pizza and. And her tooth. And her tooth. And it was only once she was done with the pizza that she realized and so she started panicking. Oh no. I remember picking my pizza. I was like, "Oh my God, where's my tooth?" And there's pieces of the cross. I was like, "Where's my teeth?" And then you started smiling and we could see the tooth gone. And so I being probably what? I was like, "What's eight years old?" That was the perfect opportunity for me to pull a prank on her. So I told her right before she went to bed, "Oh, Estelle, you have to. If you want to make sure that the tooth fairy comes out, you can't poop tonight. Otherwise, it won't know where to look." I don't know because you don't have your tooth with you. I don't know if you're going to bed. She just placed a box that I had already seen in the house before. I knew it came from the house. I didn't think that the tooth fairy would just take a random box in the house and put stuff in it. There was just snacks and stuff that I knew my grandma had. I was like, "Well, the tooth fairy is not very original." Double prank. Double discipline. I was like, "Oh, I'm going to be a cherry tree." I remember really, really scared. What about you, Valentine? Any pranks, do you remember? It's still like, "I don't know if it's you or if dad was in it too, but we were grocery shopping in Canada, like a random mob loss, and my dad gave me this piece of hot pepper." It was, yeah, it was like a jalapeno. I don't even know. One of those really spicy, heavy, scollion number, whatever. He gave it to me. He was like, "Here try it. It's like a green pepper." He tried to trick me into it, and I was like, "No, I know what it is. I'm like an idiot." But then I took it, and I went to Arthur, and I was like, "Hey, how strong. Like, taste this is so good. It's like, it's bell pepper. It's really, really good." And the idiot ate it. So she gave me it, and I believed her because she was young. And I shouldn't have known because we pulled these sort of pranks on each other all the time. But for some reason, my guards were down. So I took what I thought was just a green pepper and took a really big bite. And instantly my mouth instantly realized what had happened, and my mouth was on fire. And I remember I just started, I think I spat on the ground, and threw the pepper on the ground. And I started running in the grocery store, just looking for mom and just trying to get some air into my mouth. Oh my god. And then we bought you this grocery store baguette, and you were just chewing on it. It was just like bumming, like just toes. And I remember the reason I finally spoke, this story so funny is because I remember you walking. I have this very clear image of you walking with a plant, a milk in your hand, and a piece of toes just slapped on your tongue. And I was like, "It's okay, we'll buy the toes!" And we were just like, "That's what I never laughing like to evil twins." And you were just having the worst time. I was in tears. I'd never eaten this much of spicy pepper. So I was really in pain. My tongue is scarred for life. Now you won't even eat anything I give you at a grocery store. Yeah, now yeah. Even if it's something that's. Like a free sample. If I have just a little bit of doubt, I just won't trust you. If it's a free sample, I know. PTSD. You bite into it first. Well dad initiated the prank, let me just say. Valentine just followed through with it. Yeah, and then there's some smaller pranks that we just pull in each other on a regular basis. Like a Stella, you don't know this right now, but you know how you're hiding your toothpaste in the drawer. I know you guys are using it. It's coming down all along. We each have our own toothpaste. We each have our own toothpaste, but it's still hizers. Oh, right. You guys are keeping it? Yes, it's my toothpaste. But just because you hide it. Today I showed Valentine's like, "Look, a Stella's toothpaste is here." And I took some, and she said, "I literally said I'm taking it because you're hiding it." If it was just out, I wouldn't do it. You guys also use my tweezers all the time, and I'm like, "Who used my tweezers?" And you're like, "No, I didn't use my tweezers." And it switches position every single day, and I'm like, "I'm not touching it." And nobody's. Who's the ghost in the bathroom? I'm sure Dad does too. He'll just walk in and use my tweezers and walk out. It's annoying. But speaking of Dad, we also pulled pranks on Dad. There's this one, particularly where Arthur and I were really scared. I was, because he wasn't mad towards me. Oh, yeah, right. But as siblings do, we pretend to fight. Or sometimes do fight. But there was once, one day where I was pretty young, and I discovered that if I put my hand before, and I just clapped my hand, and it closed to a still space, and then it's kind of like actors do. You know, if you pretend slapping movies, and so we were practicing that. And then it got to the point where we became really good at it. And I would make the out noise. Like you would go like, "And then I would go like, "Ow, Arthur!" I was really good. We could have gone in Oscar for it. It was just top notch. So we decided to get, you know, when your dad was in the kitchen, so we went into the living room. No, it was in your bedroom. We closed the door. And then we started having a pretend argument, and then when did it slap? I mean, I don't even know how he bought it, because it would have been such an intense fight. It was the most benign argument, and then we just went into like four slaplies. And I think I slapped, like I faked slapped you three times, and then we'd hear dad, the angry stuff started to walk. We were running like, "Arthur, Arthur!" Stop slapping your sister! No, no, no, it was a job! It was a fake slap. And then he like stormed, and it was like one of the near death experiences. It was a real hit. Exactly. That was a good prank. We still pranked him with that, and he still falls right into it. But dad's just a little bit clueless from time to time. - I'm sorry. - We love him. (laughing) And then there's the end off, I guess. Valentine and I have this feud that's-- - It's not even a prank, it's just like-- - It's just a fight for, that's been going on for years. - Yeah, we need to understand, this is just like our family, or this is like a-- - Something that's happened that if you have siblings, like do you have the same thing? We have this spoon. (laughing) - That's just a teaspoon, right? - It's just a normal spoon. - Just a normal spoon. - But it's different from all the other spoons that we have. - Yeah. - For some reason, because it's probably was our grandma's or something. And so it's just different. And the form of it makes it that-- - That's not very inclusive. (laughing) - Yeah, we're excluding, so we exclude this spoon. - It's just more rounds than your usual spoon. - Yeah, and so when you're eating yogurt, it just doesn't feel right. (laughing) - It's just not-- - It's just not good. And for some reason, we both decided that we don't like to use the spoon. - We don't want-- yeah, it's the bad spoon. But so whenever we're eating like a yogurt for dessert, and like, are there, I'd ask you like, oh, do you want a yogurt? And you'd answer like, yeah, sure. I'll get you a spoon. Like, I'll give you the yogurt, and then like the bad spoon, and then-- - I get in and we get really mad. We fight, like, we fall for the spoon. - We just fight for the good spoon. (laughing) - It's like a playful fight, but it's funny to watch. And then I always end up taking this spoon 'cause I really care. - It still doesn't care. But just Valentine and I just have this heat effect. - Thank you, yeah. - For some reason. - This spoon, man, it's-- - Yeah, and so to best each other off, we try to give it-- - So if you're ever planning on buying spoons to Arthur Valentine, like for a special occasion, go for the oval ones, not circle. (laughing) - If that means any seconds. - Just like a little side note. - Yeah. - I'm sure it's a-- I've seen memes of it. I'm sure it's a common thing. Or if it's not a spoon, it's some sort of object. - Yeah. - Like a plate or, I don't know. But there is something, you know, there's gotta be some psychological studies that need to be done. (laughing) - I'm really bad for that spoon. Like it didn't ask for anything, but it's just hated. - It's a few, it's got a little clown on it. We just hate it. (laughing) - That's why it scares us. - All right, thank you guys so much for listening to this week's episode. We hope you enjoyed it.
