Prank War Crimes With Cleetus, Crashed El Camino & Butterfly Doors On CJ's Truck!
77m 41s
The group reflects on a chaotic 24-hour compound swap with Cleetus, which escalated far beyond planned pranks. While they initially intended to keep the interaction respectful and entertaining, Cleetus’s actions led to significant vehicle damage—such as Evan’s El Camino hitting a tree, the drift truck catching fire, and CJ’s Raptor being severely modified with Lambo doors. Despite the destruction, the group acknowledges the pranks were fun and part of their competitive culture. Mike remained largely untouched, which caused frustration and highlighted an imbalance in the prank distribution. The team also expressed disappointment at the lack of personal accountability from Cleetus, noting the absence of a note or apology. Though the damage was mostly reversible, some changes—like the Raptor’s doors and the shop’s American flag—feel permanent and controversial. The group plans to return next year with even more extreme pranks, signaling a shift toward greater destruction and wilder experimentation. They emphasize that while the pranks were meant to be playful, the experience underscored the risks of overstepping, especially in shared, high-value vehicles. Ultimately, the episode serves as a mix of humor, frustration, and reflection on the boundaries of friendly rivalry in the YouTube community.
Who's the coolest YouTuber you've ever met? I'd say, "Cleetus." (laughs) Not anymore. Dude, he messed up a number of vehicles. Yeah, including CJ's Rapture. You guys have all heard the stigma around truck shows. I'd say it's legit. Beauty is pain sometimes, though. That's what Ron says when he pours all her skinny pants on. (laughs) Our financial crisis from what Cleetus did. The boys are down. Big one today, boys. We got a lot to talk about. No. We do, we have a lot to talk about. And it's, I don't know where to spend heavy. I don't know where to start. It's been heavy. Yeah, we just got back from doing a 24-hour compound swap with what I thought, our friend, Cleetus. I'm my friend anymore. (laughs) I'm my friend anymore. Right before that. We had our friend, Shred 80s, and Rich's Shred Fest. I mean, that's a whole other thing. That is a whole other thing. Yeah, we've been on the move and we just got home to Cormorant and, well, it looks a little different than when we left it. We're all just reeling from what happened while we were gone. Bro, this is easily the hardest we've ever been pranked. (laughs) Collectively, the whole crew, everybody got hit. Like, I would go as far to say, yeah. Yeah, I mean, everyone got hit. Some people worse than others. There's like this baseline that we all collectively took and then there's individual hits out on everyone, except for Mike. Mike got off with-- What the fuck? No, nothing. Ben got off super easy and you also got off super easy, Ken. I would say you got off easier than Ben. I mean, Ken got a new vehicle. Ken just has to go get his car. Well, he's got to go trade his new car back in on his old car. I'm just hoping that they don't sell this thing from under me or it doesn't get fucking stolen. Well, if they don't sell it, now you'd be the third owner of that car and it's a BMW. It's got to be worth fucking raw food. Nothing. Let's drop a fucking rock. I think it's for sure depreciated. And Evans El Camino, not very well. So what we did that we did this 24 hour compound swap with Cletus. We went down to Florida. He came up here and we thought it'd be funny. Pulled a couple pranks on each other. We figured it followed prank war rules. Yeah, he didn't break any prank war rules. No breaking anything. Nothing that can be, you know, everything has to be undone. No financial damage. He committed prank war crimes. Yeah. These are war crimes. I would agree. I would agree. And starting off, he took Ken's car and traded it in for possibly the lamest vehicle out there. But Ken thinks it's cool. No, a dog charger is kind of cool. There used to be cool when they stole the Hellcat in them. And now they're just the gayest car you can buy. Dude, who made that call? Someone's eight. They had to have been let go at this point. Talk about a disconnected like you got the Hellcat, the whole best part about the challenger and the charger is the motor. And they're like, let's take that part out and make it electric with speakers on the outside when you rev it. But Ken, you are the king of electric cars. You got every little electric car has ever been. As Evan would say, that is the most cheeto way you can make a car is it doesn't make any noise so we're just going to fake it. Yeah, put a two loud speakers. And when it starts up, it is loud. It's not like, oh, that makes a little thing. Yeah, it sounds like you're an i-max leader. It does, what's it? It does. And it's so much worse that it makes noise. Yeah. Like if you're electric, like just be silent, be silent. Embrace the electric. It's so bad. Just embrace the electric part. Just make it silence. You can just get places. And that's a good point, CJ. Chargers and challengers were never known to be good vehicles. They just had the best engine. Yeah, that's the right. It was best part of Hellcat, but they were the best part. People weren't like, oh, the chassis. It's such like with them. Come here. Oh, yeah, we know. Yeah, exactly. Sure. And nobody was like, what a timeless car, you know. Yeah, styling wise. Yeah. Yeah. So they did that. So they got pretty bad. Mike somehow completely unscathed, completely skipped over. That's crazy to me. I'll fill you guys in later why I might not be unscathed in a couple of weeks, but as of right now, they did nothing to my shit besides drift my car and do a burn out my truck, which is stuff I already do. You didn't pay him off, did you? I actually didn't. That was a joke. No, I didn't. I haven't even talked to Craig. Kelly said the needle for him. And we're going to go over all the stuff that we discovered today when we went through our compound. And then you guys have already seen the video. We'll fill you in on the background of what we did with cleats. But all I talked to cleat about was, hey, your C.T. five black wings nuts. Love it. Want one? He's like sick. Rip that thing, brother. That was it. So he messed up a number of vehicles. He said, arguably everything he touched like like Ben's car on the barge. That was that was a pro prank. Farm was harmless. Yeah. I mean, you know, you do it, right? It's fine. I mean, we've done this many times. Like, that was a four hundred, uh, the potential of being a four hundred thousand dollar joke. Yeah. And that's why it was so awesome. But I mean, it's a good thing. Nothing happened to that today when we were undoing it. I mean, it's a good thing. It's a good thing. It's a good thing. It's a good thing. There's nothing happened to that today when we were undoing it because if it had everything would have been destroyed. We get back to the shop and Evans El Camino, which is just back from the tuning shop, has a big ass dent in it. Fucking hit a tree. Hit a tree. Hit a tree. The box is all twisted. I think a dent is an understatement. Yeah. Yeah. It's messed up. It's just like, totally can be fixed. But as far as we could tell, that was like original 1985 box. Now it's just going to be a shitty part. It was so nice. It was so nice. It was so nice. I was so stoked because I don't think it's going to be a shitty part car for the rest of it. No, but it's not originally like, which is no different that you'll get to than other people are in the same situation I am. Yeah. It hurt. It hurt me when I saw it. But you were just like, dead. I was just all over it. I've went not verbal. I've been so excited to drive that thing. And now it's just like, you just don't drive it. Well, I mean, I'm not with it all piled up because she's got a dent. It's going to have to be a body shot. Run it. It always looks perfect. Run it and fix it this winter. I mean, to be fair, I have pretty much everything has some kind of like imperfection. I mean, you can drive it with the dent. I'd say the bigger problem is how that dent happened. The wheel fell off. No. And then he said the wheel fell off and then he hit the tree. He hit the tree. And then he figured the impact busted some lug nuts. The wheel fell off after he hit the tree. He continued whipping it after hitting the tree. Then the wheel fell off. Dude, those guys are so hard on people. Yeah, holy shit. Yeah, holy shit. I thought we were hard on stuff. According to BigGrens, you would have been. We didn't stop after hitting the tree. It would have been the impact from the tree. Probably scarred your lug nuts. Yeah. And when Evan's referring to he, that would be none other than squirrel macknut. Apparently, that happened. Clearly, that Hellcat has a lot of power. That happened like a minute in driving it, which is just like, come on. And they made fast work of really all their damages. Untouched, nice crown Vic we had that we were going to do that awesome bit with. Into the trees. No way. I mean, they did not. What? Jake did that. Dude, Jake took full advantage of them being here. I heard that they did that all together. Well, Jake filled it up with hydro mulch. Dude, you're right. Maybe. That was Jake's crown Vic though, isn't it? No, that was our crown Vic. Yeah, that was ours. Ben, you filled them in. Is it kind of a. Yeah. So Frank from the trees too, those trees are never going to grow back knowing that he was coming here. I hit up Jake and I said, yo, we should, you should mess with Cletus while he's at our compound. I totally forgot that Jake's a little weasel rat piece of shit. Sorry, Jake. So he did, he did mess with them. But then he also put my car on the barge. I think that was Jake's doing. But Cletus was, he flew in, he flew into like our little municipal airport. And then they have courtesy cars left at these airports that the airport owns. And then if you fly in on a plane, you can just use the courtesy car to like get around knowing that, you know, your plane is sitting there, you're probably not going to mess this courtesy car up. They're not that nice cars. They're not that nice. It's kind of like an airport respect. Yeah, it's a wheel. It's wheels. I knew that he was going to fly in and I told Jake, yo, we'll leave one of our cars there. And then when Cletus takes it from the airport, brings it to the shop. He's going to think that this is the airport's car. You come over and you mess with this car to like basically pull a prank on Cletus while he's here of him being like, don't fuck up that car. That's the airport's car. I'm responsible for it. Jake messes up the car. Cletus gets got. Yeah. And that's exactly what Jake did. He brings it over. Jake fills the entire car up with Hydro mulch. That guy just loves to pull on that hatred. He loves the Hydro cedar. You know what he wants to turn so bad and he's going to be so sad if his daddy ever sells that business. So he pulls in, fills it up. And then I guess Cletus was clearly pretty surprised. At some point, they decided, well, let's go strive this thing off of the ball ledge into the trees. We're now. You took out a pretty good row of trees too. It did. It did. It cleared some trees out. And Crown Vicks are getting expensive, thanks to CLEAT. So they're hard to find. That was like a $5,000 hit right there. Yeah. Well, we got the drift car or the drift gnarly. He jumped the drift gnarly out of the drift car out of the ball. We left the TRX there thinking like, oh, they could like jump that and do whatever with that. they decided.
it to jump the drift nolly and it just like totaled it out, right? I will say I just bent everything everything they hit it was personal toss we had so many vehicles so we're like have Adam have yourself a time brother and he he just went to everything we loved including CJ's Raptor which he loves more than they should have to jump all itself not the drift nolly and they should have put the doors on the drift nolly would have fit better they that would have been sweet burn the tires off the drift nolly they just they just jumped yeah they didn't even burn my tires off my raptor they just stabbed them yeah true they could have at least done a burn like for real dude if you're gonna there's waste a good set of tires at least burn them off after that we pull into our shop the outside of it is painted in the city as an American flag you've ever seen in your life bro it looks like a freaking blind man painted that thing and the worst part is Cleese's shop is American flag like the American flag objectively looks really cool we love America yeah and I love big ass American flag I did if it was the first time it's ever been done I would absolutely love it I'd be like fuck yeah this is our new thing let's run this like we got to get this perfect but it's like that's his thing and now we're just like fucking junior over here that's lame as hell we can't run that it looks like we're larping him he's like we're trying to be like some of these other youtube channels that freaking copy all of our shit I still love it I know I'm not saying I love it I'm not saying yeah like I love it like and I know this isn't we're not gonna do this I love it so much I've always loved Cleese's I love taking pictures cars in front of it like I love it so much American flag is like saying it looks sick looks so good but but the downfall it'd be like if we went to his shop and then completely renovated his shop in red shipping containers and put walls above and put lifeline I'm not gonna run that yeah he'd be like oh yeah of course we're gonna get of course we're gonna get rid of the clearest logos but then that's what he's saying it like every video he starts out it would look like ours like I think you're you're missing maybe the point I guess no I'm like if somebody doesn't watch this video and then they they skip that video what I'm clearest doing it and then they open up and we're standing in front of it they're gonna be like holy shit these guys want to be we were the first people with American flag painted shop I would say I have this is our thing we are running this all I'm saying is if it were me I would leave it I just wanted to get that out there we have controversial opinions that's what this podcast is all about I think we just leave it for a good month or two and then probably financially fucking recover yeah we're gonna have so many things in here be fixed and some of them aren't fixable like my raptor it's not fixable like squirrels what do they call the body they cut the body of my 130,000 dollar Ford Raptor R and put these so you have to be a new founder it's just the fenders yeah you just go just like to come in or you just do fenders yeah there you go that's it yeah it's good for fenders you have no been blessed yeah bless that was funny we were blessed so you didn't call them he just goes just got blessed brother dude honestly I told Jack I actually predicted that he was going to paint our shop like the American flag and I also predicted he was gonna put Lambo doors on Ryan's Corvette which now you guys I didn't tell anyone else other than Jack and he can back me up I didn't think even for a second he would put Lambo doors on my raptor because why would they ever make Lambo doors for a raptor I don't know gotta be what budget meeting this is what I thought they did to my raptor I thought they would burn the tires off I thought maybe they like literally mudded it so hard that like there was mud over the hood I thought maybe they could just buried it I don't know like something like that and then I just come in and it looks like I'd be hanging with Dalton at a truck show Dalton did say he'd buy it but yeah yeah but he of course is like thinking I'm gonna sell it for like half price now when it's really worth double just if you're asking Clea this but he does need a truck though since he blew his up just throwing that out you have the first rapture are with with butterfly doors dude honestly it's most unique rig on the right I hate it but I do love that part I do love that part I think it looks terrible it's squatted it's got these wheels like the squatted if I was 17 I'd maybe think it was cool but I even if I was 17 I wouldn't think Lambo doors on a pick up is cool but like the the wheel part the wheels look kind of cool and it looks nice it does with the green like it's a sweet looking ride definitely gonna be controversial dude I gotta show you guys this so I came across tea pain so he just built the new raptor right did he put butterfly doors on he did not he probably should have given the look of this thing I'm just gonna leave this up all that you guys interpret how this this is the most insane looking raptor I've ever seen holy shit that's ugly color I'm trying not to hate here both dude no I don't even have the gayest after art that thing what what are we doing I don't know I think it maybe looks a little bit better than it actually does oh my god you're running a pretty similar setup though he looks more off-roady still has suspension which is nice I have no idea he did take your suspension out what was he going for here no I don't know sometimes things just don't come out as nice I don't know I mean the more I'm looking at it I'm just like dang like I got to go to some truck shows with this thing yeah you have to you do I'm just gonna have to pull you're gonna say the dealership and buy a new one I'm not gonna be able to trade that thing in at the dealership there's no chance I'm gonna find like a like an audio guy yeah like that's the kind of guy that would love to throw 19 subs in the back of it and pull up I think I think it actually would look sick for that what I need to do is just go to another lifted truck nationals with my raptor and sell it there that's true I probably will sell it there dude I think there's a market out there maybe maybe not around us but after going to Shredfest southbound they love that stuff they do love that they're riding with like just the back left rear shock completely out just so it rides like this I don't know even in Florida too they're talking to slick Steve he was like talking about his sister's boyfriend that actually likes the squad truck he was like no I don't know what's wrong with him but he actually likes it I was like he's got to be joking here's like no he's not he actually likes it so there's a market for it dude it's definitely baller and it's definitely gonna get a lot of attention but I don't know if I'm trying to be either of those things I've been thinking that when I pull up to just you know taking my my girlfriend out for dinner yeah you're gonna have to flex on everyone and then the doors go that is the worst part dude and they open up he got my he got my damn vet too and people already shit on the vet for trying to look like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini or something like that and now it looks like I'm really trying I might as well throw a ZR one wing on it in a ZR one hood and just look like a total fake well you've always wanted him to learn right I have I have they might have just saved you some money but it's like oh I always wanted a Lamborghini so I put butterfly doors on my civic see we got punked man we got pulled apart apparently the doors are like once you go to them you can't go back your first one a lot of cut it I don't believe it but you're the only person that doesn't fucking believe that they're irreversible there's hold us that when we were in for you guys seen what big wrench does like how you guys really think that it can't go go back irreversible in the way that you do not have to purchase new vendors then I paint match the whole rest of the front of your car back together I mean there's quite a bit of fiberglass for you like frame then exactly then I guess we're on the same page there I think you do need new fenders that's it's a very a very difficult reversal process I don't know if fenders are gonna fix it what as big wrench and say anything is possible anything is possible but it's not gonna be the same it's just not gonna be the same things are just not the same so that's his new form no you guys just gotta come to terms yeah that's just I understand that if I can just swap the wheels and at least go back to stocks suspension so I can actually drive it fucking drive the pickup like it is a pickup not just crawl around at the mall and try to stand out front of it in front of gas stations then I'll be happy I'll just run the doors it is what it is Zach was telling me and his boys were telling me they're like before I even knew this got done in my Raptor and before they didn't know we probably literally while it was happening probably they didn't know what was going on when we were in Florida because I'm sure you know at least in Wamswell I think he told me that when they put the Lambo doors on any of those vehicles that they leak water now because they they don't seal right make sense and they also said you can't fix it there's no going back yeah even though Mike disagrees he's the only person I do yeah I mean I disagreed to like it's gonna be expensive but you 100 percent could put it back to a noticeable I'm just gonna run the Lambo doors it is what it is I think I'm dude it's a new form yeah and the thing is is you know maybe it made my vet cooler I don't think so but I would never do it myself but the fact that Cletus flew a few thousand miles and that's what he thought I needed that I got Hibachi out of it and they fixed my vet up I guess the nice thing with your car Ryan is like people that are non-car guys they might just you didn't think like wow like that car is really nice me no one's going to think that's how it's supposed to be that's true that's true they could have at least done it to my Lambo it almost would have made trends yeah they did damn had them on how they like crazy expensive no not that excuse
Spensive similar to probably basically everything I read was don't they just don't fit that good dude And then it's only going to depreciate. They don't they don't that good Sometimes it's like not perfect and it hits like the paint and it's like boom and then it bounces back He also had a little bit of aggressive To have to do like a freaking special close every time it's like nobody multi-step system to get those doors closed Hop in hop out beauty is pain sometimes though says you can beauty is pain Flambados are nice, so it's just not practical where I guess we run it says we need form of her function Can't feel his nuts at the end of the day Yeah, so it didn't stop there. I mean, you know glue the tires off the Miata and the fenders with it and damn Started the drift the drift truck on fire hot. Yeah, they said they drove that thing so hard big renters even like that thing got so abused yesterday You get to the hood is like it got so melted down Yeah, it looks looks like it started on fire because around the Exhaust pipe got so hot like the wrap melted away. Yep, so I guess really the main issue with all of this like we can take a prank Actually, we we love that he pranked us because it's good entertainment. We love it. That was part of the deal The only issue that is really eaten us up Is that he went harder than we did. Yeah, that's the only problem Because we were being very Like respectful. We were respectful like all the stuff we did wasn't permanent damage It was more so like really clever Like other than that asphalt. We accidentally wrote that wasn't us. I don't feel bad about that anymore They already fixed it that wasn't awesome. That's an easy fix and we blew up a crown vick which happens literally they all look like one of the worst crown vicks They had so really what's eaten us alive is that we didn't go harder now Is the worst part is that we wish we would have just really caused some pain. Yeah, I was nervous driving that super like man I really don't want to mess it up now. I would oh not give one shit I would push because Evan said at one point he goes I wish I would have taken a shit in his super now After Evan saw the El Camino bagged up he goes I wish I would have shit in the front seat of the super Maybe under the floor mat and that's we doesn't find it right away But there was one thing we did possibly permanently damaged and that's at clearest's house you guys were gone because you had to leave early on So we are so sweaty because it's like 96 degrees. We've been outside since seven running hard big humidity It's not like eight o'clock our shirts are stained from sweat We stink so bad and clearest we're having a party at clearest's house all of his workers his friends They're there their wives are there Meriachi back dressed up Meriachi band fucking Maryachi band We got food like this really amazing barbecue. Can of course has to go to the bathroom So we're trying not to go in his house because we are so dirty and sweaty. I didn't go I didn't step in his house So you gotta start we're sitting outside do you just see like Ken and Maddie like go sprint in the windows and we're like They're going back and forth of course Ken would be in the house like can we just keep our mess outside Oh yeah, but then it was that pregnant bro. Just let her do her thing, but then it was the nice just farmer Farmer fellow that came up and gave you the tip right? Hey, your buddy broke the toilet inside Well, it's like he did you do first of all fucking we should have broke all the toilets Yeah, knowing what we know, but not knowing what we know what you do So they've got these fucking fancy. Yes, I tech toilets. You first of all you're in a glass house on that weekend You should know yeah, Ken was like, yeah, I started unplugging the remote and he knew the toilet Can I explain it to us? Let me just whatever model. Let me talk. Let me talk They they cannot flush if they don't have power. So the the circuit breaker on the thing tripped So I'm like, why do you think you took a you put the power on the power? He blew the brake and they're trying to get it to flush for a while And before he basically decides to go out and ask Maddie for help. Did he piled that shit up so heavy? He blew the breaker on it. So then Maddie has to go in. She's like plug in her nose and shit like How do you blow a breaker from a big shit? The circuit breaker was blown before I even got it The water came out that's what everybody says every time the toilet's plugged. Oh, it was plugged when I got here So Ken can blows up the toilet and we're sitting outside the whole front of the house is glass And we're just seeing Ken is tan over here and then frantically walk across the house and then Maddie would run after him they get to this side they do something in like the little closet over there And then they'd run back over And like like actually running I thought water was overflowing the way you they were moving so quick I was like are they grabbing paper towels like what is going on? So we like kind of peep our head. What's going on? Oh the toilet's broken this that oh my god And then they have to back they did you didn't end up getting it the funniest part was Dalton did jump in there And he said Ken like was very courteous and the fact that he like took a bunch of the toilet paper and like laid it flat Honestly Did his children have to sleep in a different house because it was a freaking crime scene Maddie did end up calling 911 I bet no literally flip the breaker and everything was good. It was great after dinner anytime and for the whole party After see him a clearest did to us though. I wish I wouldn't have said a word. I wish I would have walked away Do you should upper decked it. Yeah, you should have a fuck. We should have upper decked one of his toilets for sure I don't know anyone who's actually done it. I'm assuming a big wrench has done it really never mind Incorrected One was the last time you upper deck. I've actually not done it. I've just always wanted too badly aggressive So yeah, who did big wrench upper deck? Okay, so it was either big wrench or someone on his team But it was some involved with his snow yeah, yeah shenanigans. Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I think he did it But if it wasn't him it was someone he was do it too Courts with beep this out, but I think he did Who did big wrench classic in one of his rental houses that they were like staying in like the race team was staying in it And he owned it and big wrench upper decked him Because he hit him so much. I don't know or he loved him that much and he loved to mess with him I don't know my god anyway. He definitely he won this one he won this one for sure And I guess really the only thing that's like gonna like make a sleep good at night is knowing that There will be a second part to this whole compound swap when we run it back next year And the bars been raised then he raised it he raised it and so I say we take those we put his cars back in shipping containers And we put them on a boat and we send them to another country. I like the sounds of that I want to do like the airbag under the driver's seat so as soon as they try to start my own Flyers them straight up into the roof like oh, we booby trap. Oh, yeah, everything's booby trap like yeah We got to go electric shock to the door knobs. Yeah, we better stop the brainstorming here now I say it all out though. I mean, I am kind of concerned of what they can think of over the span of a year Yeah, I'm sure whatever they can come up with we can come up some honestly. They're probably thinking like How could we one up what we did right like they went so hard and hats off to them to Shay That's true. We have some room to run we have a lot of room to run we have a lot of run away left We were really like is this too far and like we were feeling that we were you know Maybe we just are too respectful. Well, we have different like We're just two category of vehicles like clearest his race cars are worth a lot of money And we did have free rain, but I that's where it's tough I think we were all just nervous driving them because they were so gnarly like we're gnarly And we did motor alone is worth more than the drift nolly You know in that aspect stuff like that. That's true They probably looked at Adam's Alcheminer like this thing's a piece of garbage They looked at the drift nolly and they were like oh my god. We can do whatever we want with this thing crash it Fuck that's tough. That on an on another note. It was really cool getting a drag race someone clearest his rigs It was sick. Evan loves Supra's that Supra. He's got it's got a lot of power and you drove it hard I drove ruby you drove. He did it a fucking wheelie Both you guys did wheelie. That's so cool. I mean that's pretty damn good. I broke a hundred and 70 miles an hour Which I hadn't done before. Yeah, I haven't either. I'm doing like 175. They thought I apparently So that that car will do 170 on a good drag by the Tunish line, but I hit it at like a 40 roll and they said that I went way Why stated it way longer than I should have so they're like you were definitely going faster That's sick. Yeah, you were supposed to be. Yeah, that's what I was told I didn't obviously wasn't really reading this but I'm gonna. I was going down But they said I made them nervous that I was gonna end up in the field at the end Well, Mike almost did which though I got up on the binders so pretty heavy can drove ruby over from the shop to the drag strip And then accidentally hit the shoot out on the highway. That was pretty funny Which was funny and then I'm driving and it yeah It was by far the fastest I ever been in a car and I'm like holy shit I need to stop pretty fast and so I'm looking for the parachute and it's kind of almost distracting me from pressing the brakes harder than
- You almost hit me? - No, I just, I almost, I literally stopped at the grass. And it's just like how bad would it have been if I, like it's one thing to like go too fast and pile up and hit the wall, but it's another thing to just like-- - Overshute the end. - I was driving that thing-- - I'm sorry, I meant when you were coming down the road, I thought maybe you ran to me because Ken's driving down the highway with a deploy, very terrible shit. - When I was driving that thing, those brakes are stiff, like you got to put-- - Yeah, you got to pull the brush around them. - Exactly, and I just, I was pussyfoot in the brakes, I guess. So we go to the drag strip in these super fast drag cars. It's not really something you can just beat on. You just, like, you're just like, you have to do it right and all you're thinking is, I hope I don't for some reason like lose traction and send this thing into the wall. Like it wasn't really like as much of a playful, like we, and it was, it all went great and we actually ran some good times. But it wasn't like a mess around thing, you know, you have to really respect that amount of horsepower and speed. - I regret not just putting that thing right on the wall, right at the start and just doing a quarter mile on the wall, bigger grettes there. - Oops, honestly it was still fun. - Yeah, well, I think we did really good. And we have tons of room left for next time. - And if anybody else in like the YouTube community wants to do a compound swap with us, we haven't tarnished our name. - Yeah, that's true. - No, we'll do to it. - I would not recommend that. - Who the hell is gonna swap with Cleedis at this point? - Like the thing is, is like, I think we went really hard, but we just had a boundary of like, not messing anything up. - Yeah, we actually didn't cost them really. - Yeah, like he just had to basically undo stuff. - Yeah, I mean, like I blew the supercharger belt on the black wig, but-- - It's like 50 bucks. - Yeah, that's like no big deal. - Fresh one in the back seat. - Yeah, it happens all the time. It's like 50 bucks. - And then one crowned vick, and that was it. - We should have started that crowned vick on fire. - I would argue that my crowned vick was pretty twisted up. - But they have like a whole crowned vick restaurant. - Oh yeah, no, they're so, you know, they'll put it back together. - I mean, obviously we've seen that before, but it is cool. They just literally have a shop dedicated to souping up and returning crowned vicks back to life. That's all they do. - Do we want to move on to Shred Fest? - I would be down. 'Cause my God was that, just something else. - That was a blast. - Those are good times. - It was a really good time. Our first truck show, and obviously you guys have all heard that, you know, the stereo types that go with it, the stigma around truck shows, I'd say it's legit. - Well, I would have fit in perfectly there. - Yeah, my truck would have been, people would have loved that crap there. - The cool thing is, is that like-- - Might have won. - There was a lot of walks of life as far as trucks go, and like they all fit in. - I mean, honestly, I like the kids. They were nice kids. They were just young kids. And what we did say, driving around, you know, it was cool seeing all trucks. There's a lot of work gone into 'em. There's a lot of time and heart trucks. And would I do it on my own to my own truck, even though I now have a truck that looks like there's, do you want? - Do what? - Do what? Squat it out, throw a $15,000 set of wheels on when my whole truck needs a new paint job, but that's what you do. And the way we did truck it up, someone asked me about, like if I, what I thought about all the trucks, and I was just like, honestly, dude, if I was like 22 or younger, I would have probably thought all of these were awesome. - And I did think of all different-- - So many different-- - Like every walk of trucks was there. - So I'm not sure exactly which ones you were talking about, but they, I feel like they had trucks for like, no matter what your taste was. - I rode in one of the trucks that was doing like, burnout lane, and let's see what was called. Money Pit. - Classic. - Money Pit. - That's what the truck was called. - It had a, it had a, like a cow-hide headliner. - Oh. - Love that. - And then it had a Louis Vuitton steering wheel cover. - That's kind of what I'm saying. - And I hopped in and I was like, bro, you gotta delete these tires, and he did exactly that. - He did a burnout for like two, two to three minutes. - It was one of the better ones. - That looks like he's having a time. - I was, I was loving it, bro. - I was loving it. - This is the embodiment, like we were like, wait a sec. - Look, I throw, there it is. - Fun. - There it is, I throw it in there. - He looked better. - That fish is lit, bro. - Dude, we were hiked when we saw you in the truck. - Did you know I was coming? - It did. - No, no, even better. We were just kind of watching, taking it all in, and then everyone was like, that's been, that's been. - Dude, that thing does do nasty burnout. - Yeah, he did a crazy burnout. - And you know, another cool part about all of this is that the only rule really was like, be respectful. You know, they obviously don't want people hitting limiters till 3am, but that's what was happening. They didn't want people riding their dirt bikes up and down like the pits, but that's what was happening. Burnouts, everywhere. And I think my takeaway from it is, how do these people afford, they come there and they just blow their shit up. They blow their wheels up, they blow their transmissions, they blow their motors, they blow their head gaskets, they blow their turbos, and they just come back and do it all over again next year. - Dude, it was a crazy time, it was fun. It was just a lot of fun. - Yeah. - Cruising around, seeing everybody. And you're right, there was all walks of life. - The Crown Vic Race was pretty fun on dirt. I really enjoyed that. I think at some point in our career, we need some sort of oval track, that was a lot of fun. It was different than asphalt and rye in myself and I've got to drive in it. Pretty good odds for the boys. None of us pulled to dub. - Ev, you get behind the wheel of a Crown Vic and you're racing ability. - He's just going out the way. - Wait, watch the footage, my car like didn't run. It was down a cylinder. - Oh really? - When it would, it was limp out. It would hit hard for a couple of laps, and then if you pushed it too hard, it would literally, just, I don't know, hopefully the GoPro picks it up. I'm not going to try to recreate the noise it was making, but I'm going to suggest it would be like six or seven cylinders firing. - Was it before when you guys were doing the qualifying and everyone is following the pace car? And then shreds was just douche. - Well, shreds was like racing, the pace car. - He was beating, he was like lapping everyone on like the, just like the pace. - The lap for Ray flying, yeah. - It's the parade lap. And he's like, just driving on the inside, cutting people off. - It's not under caution. He was like full business. - Yeah, sake of shreds. I'm just not even going to say what I'm thinking, but he knows what I want to say about him after watching his performance. - It was Gav's event. He can't rich, our buddy rich. He can do whatever he wants, and he did. - He did. - And he's the greatest entertainer, dude. I mean, he's out here, he's trying to entertain the people, you know, at all cost. So much to the point where, when you guys were going around, Gav found where we were standing on the infield, right? And he would like, every time he'd drive by, as he'd like, swerve or like, cut someone off or do something, 'cause he knew we were like, I put him up. - I put him up. - Come on, Gav, do something. And then towards the end, he was so far in the back. - He wasn't even in the same risk as you guys. - He was lap time. - He started drifting into the tires that they had set up. He actually ran into it, head on, and he hit it twice. - Oh my god. - So he hit it with his rear end, and the whole time, Rich is over there like, if he fucks up that crown, Rich, that's coming out of his half of the paycheck. - 'Cause they had to like, they had to pay for all the damages done to the crown vix. And so Rich is like, what are you doing? 'Cause pretty soon, he just, he was hitting these tires on purpose. Just, just to fire us up. And he was doing exactly that. And Rich was, Rich was fired up too. - I was flashing back to the driver's meeting when Gavs, like, since he knew he was on the line. He's like, guys, seriously? Seriously, drive safe out there. It's not a demolition derby. And then I'm like, looking at him, smashing the shit out of his car. Then at the end of the race, his car was actually mangled. Robbie goes, it looks like you just bought a crown, Vic, brother. And then he's like, okay, okay, it's fair enough. Can I do a burnout with it? I'm like, he just said you bought it. So I'll rip it. - And you did? - You did. - You're saying smoked out the entire crowd? - Yeah. - Yeah, that's the one thing though. Like on the second day, they did like the truck burnout competition. And there was probably what? 50 trucks that came through that. And each truck goes until they blows their tires. Like at a certain point, a burnout to burn out. - Mm-hmm. - And holy crap. Was there so much smoke? - It's stepping out. - No, but I'm saying there, of course, a burnout to burnout. But that's how you do good. - Yeah. - Is you do something different? - Dude, the thing that stood out to me was one kid that put his truck up against the wall, got it up to 120 and then turned cruise control on and then hopped out and he was popping around. And like running around like the pit after his truck was going 120 miles per hour up. - Maybe if it hopped up it or something. - Holy shit. - Oh, that would be horrible. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can you imagine? I didn't even think of that. Dude, that was the point. - So that was entertaining. That one stood out. It was a big military truck that you guys were all chilling. I was down on the other side where the smoke was going. The opposite of the way and I watched it cover you guys, come to find out later. Evan's up there yacking because they're literally breathing. - Yeah, how about that, Ev? - That was crazy. - Yeah, well like Duke and CJ were just like, oh, we can't take the smoke anymore. We gotta get down from here. And I was ready to tap out too, but I was gonna stay a little longer. So I was kind of-- - He was talking shit, but it's fine. It's fine. And I literally like inhale straight your spine and just like it's just straight traggers of guys. Just yack all over the hood of Rich's truck. Straight off the roof down onto the hood. Bro, when Evan threw up, it was like a solid. - Do you know what we got the video? - Yeah, I'm pulling up right now. - It makes me giggle. - Dude, Duke came back and couldn't believe what he just watched. He was like, bro, Evan was tripping me for leaving. And then he threw up right in front of me. (dramatic music) (laughs)
(laughing) - Aw. - Nice. - Why this part is there is no warning. You weren't like, "Oh, I don't feel good." - Yeah. (laughing) - I felt fine. It was literally just that smoke was so thick. - Dude, Rich is a good promoter. Like that was a good ass event. - It was awesome, bro. - Yeah, they know how to say it was sick. Yeah, yeah, like, you know, that was all Rich's doing getting the concrete Cowboys there. And that was really cool, too. - He's working on another one in the winter. - Yeah, you had a meeting yesterday in Arizona. I forget at which speedway, but it's crazy to see unfold. Like, what live events are, you know, they're being hosted by YouTubers. - Do we go to any more races we go to? - I can't either, dude. I'm looking guys, little can't believe that's our shop. - We're gonna have to paint over that clea to stuff. - Ace app. - Yeah, no. - It's gonna go hard. - No free plugs, you've done enough damage. - My shit goes pretty good. - Dude, look at CJ here. I'm not gonna lie. - Oh yeah, dumb heart, actually. - It looks like a show truck. - It does. - It looks like I should have it at whatever the next show is and like the whole time I'm just wiping it down with instant detailer. - It doesn't look real. Looking at it as a picture. It looks like it's out of a video game. - The wheels do go hard on it. - They do. - Dude, this is gonna be a new form, bro. You just leave it. You have a G-Wagon, just drive your G-Wagon and this is your show truck. - This is its new form. I can't go back. - Perfect. I think you gotta leave it and you gotta run it. The only issue is I don't know if I'll ever be able to sell this thing. - I think so. - Well, that doesn't sound like an issue. As long as you just accept it, now it's just your reality. - Dude, get some all about perception. - Some what, fender lights or wheel lights, whatever they're for. - All rock lights for sure. - And then Phil, you got a tunnel cover. Phil, the box with speakers. By the way, I see it, the build is just begun. - I'm already trying to look at new trucks, but we're poor. So now I'm like. - Oh, cool. - Give yourself a $5,000 Chevy. They make 'em every day. - I know, at least pop up a marketplace every day. - It's cool, but it's also concerning. Just maybe our acceptance of like how okay I was was seeing my car out on this barge. - You were happy, it was a broken piece. - I know, I know. That's the thing. - You got the best one. I'll trade you. - I was happy with it, but maybe it's just like, we've seen our vehicles in like the most messed up scenarios. - Yeah, man, I don't know. You caught on your own. - It's an all-time high for everyone. - Easy along with Mike. - Well, for Ben Ken. - I'll stay on this couch right on the sidewalk. - Realistically, mine isn't that bad, it just sucks. - But like, CJ and Ryan's-- - It's gonna take forever, fun. - Seriously, it's finessing. I don't think it'll ever be as good as stock again. - Well, Ryan, this is what you get for pulling pranks. All right, you're being a prankster. Now you got pranked, all right? I've been telling you, I've been telling you that this is gonna come back to bite you. - It's been a background prankster for a while. - I'm always peripheral to the pranks. - I've been telling you, Ryan, you can't prank people. - Honestly, dude, the thing that I'm most upset about is everybody else got a note. I didn't get a note. - Yeah, it was just like-- - That did just hurt. - It was like mine wasn't even personal. - I didn't get a note. - You should've got a note. - You should've gotten a note. - You should've got a note that said, sorry. - Like $20 or something on it? - Just a $20 bill slapped to that thing would've been funny. - Dude, honestly, I don't really like it. I'm not really mad about it, I'm just like damn. - Just coming to terms. - It's just what it is, but I accept it. That's just part of the game, man. If you're gonna play pranks, you gotta learn how to take them too. - So, yeah, and it does make me feel a lot better knowing that Cletus paid $30,000 to have the front of our shop painted. - Oh, he got rid of it. - It's so hard. - He got, he got absolutely shwanged. - It's so hard. - And that makes me feel pretty good. - That does help. - It does lighten the sting. - It does, doesn't it? - Does it really reverse your doors, man? - No, it doesn't really reverse my doors at all, but yeah. At least when I drive into the shop and go, Jesus, it won't, it'll hurt or lessen that sting. - We do have a collab t-shirt live, Freedom Factory X, C-Boys TV. If you could buy it, that would be great. That would help our scenario that we're in right now or a financial crisis from what Cletus did. The boys are down. So yeah, support us. Buy a t-shirt. - It would be nice. - We needed now more than ever. - Are we the Sarah McLaughlin music? - Are we talking about that yet? - No, I don't think we can. - We've got a plan. - No, yeah, I don't think we can go public with that yet. - Damn. - Being on the figures guy. - Is this a six figure shwank? - Yeah, it's fat. - Is this also a bad mid six figure shwank? - Yeah. - I just bought a new trowel. - Approaching seven? - No, thankfully not that bad. - Is it approaching? - Is it a bad time? - It's literally mid six, probably bad time then, huh? - No, you could say it. Is it, okay. Well, I just bought it. - Mike's not in a financial crisis. - Money Mike's not working on it though. - Yeah. - Jesus way. - Two trucks a month. - I know. Yeah, I mean, that's how it goes. It's the same for when I got my viper, you know, on the truck there. - Yeah, those shirts don't get you entered for our giveaway, which is going on right now. - This is true. Mike, you love a good pickup truck that is just, you can call it. - Mike, you should buy mine. Is it different? - You actually end up with those dogs. - You actually end up with those dogs on trucks. - Fuck. - Yeah, I am. I mean, I didn't prank you guys, but we were all flying from lift truck nationals to Sarasota to where Glitis is. And then I was like, boy, I missed my flight, I fell asleep. And then you guys were like, idiot. - It's pretty believable. - So dumb. - Yeah. - Because that would be the second time he's done it. - Not even a second thought, of course. - Believable, for sure. But I was actually flying to West Palm, to Jetsky Rines, Shadow Six, who, side by side, Jetsky Typhoon thing, he have, has the Megarex. And before I bought my RAM, I had, I was about to buy, or he offered to sell it to me. I said, dude, I just sent the money for the RAM fast forward to now, we're giving away my RAM. And I was like, gosh, it seems like the most insane thing to like buy this truck just for the lore. But it was kind of like that. I wanted to pull up and then go, oh, I loved everything about that RAM, boys, but it's just a little small. So the 40s were a little small. So then I pull up to Cleetus's the next morning. You guys were wondering where I was. And it's a Megarex, it's on 46s. It's F through 50. It's gonna be in practical as how, what? It's gonna be great. - Can you drive that thing in the winter? - We'll find out. - That was also funny. Well, because the tires are so, yeah, they're so chunky. And I was like, I was voicing that to Jetsky Ryan, that I was a little concerned. I'm like, it's probably gonna be horrible on the ice. He goes, now that thing's great. I'm like, bro, you live in Florida. Better run all that fuel through it before winter. - True. - Yeah, for sure. So then, my thought was, maybe this is a weird thing, but you know how they like siped tires, like race car people, they siped tires, I'm like, what if I siped? - You could start. - I know that's not legal in Minnesota, but yeah. - The whole trailer. - What stock tires are 46s? - 46s. - 46s. - You can't get like a decent tire, but from what I looked up, there's just that one option. - They don't make rage grapplers. - They always got this one off truck like this. - It's just like. - It's very impractical. - Pretty impractical, but cool. - Yeah. - They're always cool. I'll give you that. - So, it's at cleatuses right now. I wasn't gonna drive it back 30 hours. So then, I called the homie at Glass Life, and I was like, can we do a new livery on it? And he's like, yes, I'm headed that way. I'll pick it up the 24th of September. So shortly after this comes out. So if he gets it, hopefully before cleatuses gets a hold of it, we were just-- - No, no, that truck is gonna be blessed. - Yeah. (laughing) - As you were, I hope you did. - So then, honestly, CJ and Ryan, I know how you feel now, 'cause as soon as you said, don't worry, brother. We'll bless it. I was like, oh, please don't, please don't, please don't. - They turn it, please don't. - Make it a small truck. - Yeah, that would be one of it. - Oh, fuck, CJ, that's why cleatus techs Dustin said, have a blessed day, gentlemen, yesterday morning. - Gosh dang. So yeah, we'll see. I was like, yeah, guys, have out of it. You can drive it, you can jump it, whatever. But I don't want Lambo doors on it. - Dude, I wouldn't tell 'em. - I actually jumped, I wouldn't tell 'em that, they will. - Mike, you just spoke that into existence. - That's fine. I told 'em that 'cause I thought it was fine. I didn't say they could put Lambo doors. - Mike, what I'm saying is I don't think it is fine. - Well, it has Carly's suspension, so I-- - I don't think that matters. - What do you tell me? - Yeah, it is. - I think they're gonna-- - It is. - I think they're gonna do their worst, actually. - I mean, all right, nothing that can't be undone. - I don't know, it's hard to say with those guys at this point. - It really is hard to say. - It's really hard to say. I used to just think the world. - So that's fine. - But now I'm having second thoughts. - I actually-- - They might just disassemble your truck in UPS at to you one part at a time. - I used to say, when people would ask, who's the coolest, nicest YouTuber you ever met? I'd say, "Cleetus." Not anymore. You know what they say, "Never meet your heroes." So we'll see, I actually didn't do anything besides do some burnouts in my F-150. That's it. - Yeah, it still has plenty of tires left. - They didn't even burn the tires off. - It's half a burnout. - Yeah, it's all for the lore though. - Wish I'd been harder on this Corvette. - Dude, you barely even touched the chip in that thing, right? - I know, I was, it was really expensive. And I was like, "Oh, it'd be sure to be a shame to do irreversible damage to this vehicle." - Yeah, that thing still, his ZR1 still has 1,000 miles. That's pretty crazy. - Well, it is in a box in the air now, so. - That's true. We didn't stick in a shipping container. I also was just, it was really satisfying how easy it was to put those cars in the shipping container. It wasn't not. Race ramps, drive in. - That's probably what they did with Ben's first BMW. - It's exactly. - You really could have that thing ship ready in like 10 minutes. - Yup. - You know, if you're a professional and organized, even faster. - Yeah. - Drive it in there, take the battery out, close the door. - Yeah. - It's good to go. - So what are you gonna do with it?
this truck drive it it's like are you play yeah but you live like an hour away from it like are you daily driving this truck like at this point Mike you do I mean but do I have a daily yeah I was like do I daily drive anything you know what I mean do I actually do you drive it once a week yeah I would say your Jeep is your most daily vehicle what Sydney think of this thing yeah she hasn't seen it yet so I got a film her reaction yeah I would because I would love to so I actually didn't like your last truck I made the mistake of just being like yeah I'll show you a picture of the last truck and what she said was so funny about it and so I'm like would say well she said it's one of the algorithmic trucks have ever seen why would you do that why don't you just get a Raptor like a normal you boy or TRX is it for little people why you so short um wow she went in but I asked her she said do you want me to be a supportive or honest of course you can be honest and then she went in and that's one thing about you that's one thing about what makes you two such a good couple Mike is you're both honest yeah so I would love to be honest yeah but really honest I would love to I think that'd be a good bit to film her reaction because then then she goes I just wish like honestly I'd wear out that you have you just have another giant truck and only say less say less yeah wait wait hold on what was she saying that about your little his F-150 or your F-150 yeah she didn't like that what yeah she goes why can't you get a Raptor like all the other boys oh wow I thought she was talking about your Megarex no she hasn't seen it yet she necessarily love the black Cummins either or no she did she liked that not right away but then came around do it you know because it's ended up being a little more practical and I thought it would be Ben I don't know I I've told people when they're like what are you gonna do with it I'm like well my buddy Ben's probably gonna tell me to run over it at some point out of everything that's ever been lifted that we own that this would be probably the best thing that's coming over with anytime anything gets a lift Ben just assumed that now it's a monster truck and we need to just start running stuff over I'm like bro it's a three and a half inch lift on a F-150 you know what else you do the only thing that exists on the internet for these Megarex's is either hey guys we're selling this 2022 Megarex it's just a walk-around video there's a shitload of those and then there's the marketing videos from the actual Megarex building where you were built I'd have to look it up but they're the marketing videos are so astute the coolest thing I've ever seen one done was when own boss gave one away and they drove over cars so they didn't drive over cars yeah actually I'll pull it up while you're pulling that up Justin just sex as you said did you guys see the prank that clearest left from Micah wait what and he says because Micah got a new cat moo and he says he took a dump in the litter box at the farm instead just kidding Matt like I said clean up but dump out of the litter box okay it's nobody yeah nobody wait did that actually happen yeah Garza took a dump in the litter box dude I'm not putting that past Garza at all wait what the fudge I'm so glad you told me I would have scooped that up and just been like what you're still gonna have you still gonna be able to scoop it up no I'm just taking all the litter and it's wasteful probably three dollars worth of when we were at the farm and I looked into the cow pen and I only saw one cow I actually was like I turned that was when I was like that's too far you can't be mess with cows they sold drywall and then drywall was just tucked away I do drywall would have been like what the actual fuck first I get completely ignored and now I get sold off dude it's crazy though I left for my honeymoon came back they look like full on teenagers now their hair is getting long and it's starting to grow over their eyes like they're starting to look like your classic highland out for winter I mean they've been eating good we've been making sure that we're trying to get them just some weight on before winter just so that way they stay a little bit more insulated stock them up yep uh yeah we got a barn going up this weekend right Friday it's tough because the omesh are building it um so it's very hard to get in contact with them but last I heard was it's either this week and at latest it will be next week Tuesday and what I understood they were not down to build it somewhere else and move it like that's like a bad omesh stereotype apparently yeah they're like we build bars where they need to be we don't just build them and they're building it on the pad and they're also going to use machinery even because I do remember when we asked Timmy that on the podcast he's like what what they'll use machinery they'll use machinery for like doing work I go have a scissor lift and all that stuff but they just don't live that way at home are like a hundred coming yeah do they and also do they know that we're filming yeah I think so I think like they're using the wall tools and they don't let us film there's there's a disconnect there yeah six or seven omesh yeah we need to have Timmy come in and be the foreman yeah we can bring him do you guys figure out how many mega access were made no clear answers as far as I can tell do you have an unclear answer there was an article that said production was intended to only 100 examples but dude that was in 2019 and there's clearly been more than 100 made I take it back dude it did drive right over that car that's what I'm saying you have to also how is how insane is this they had they're given when f 450 duly with the goose neck with the this the mini excavator and then they just threw in a mega rex is that right now no this is a while back wait and this kids here so I'm just like giveaways like legit 500k maybe more I don't know you should see what what's more capable Mike your mega rex or a chirp different mega rex really different no the mega rex ain't floating in the chirp ain't going down the highway you can put chirp wheels on it possibly that'll be sick no so why don't we I think that there might be too big yeah also like the enough wheels basically you just got to get it super wide in the chance of the space or breaking the stock yeah I would not have slimmed it none yeah that's true yeah did you get a good you want to at least Mike do you guys I don't know they're just not for Hopefully you guys like it, drops Thursday. - You know what else is going on right now? So like the new iPhones came out and dude, like clockwork, the new iPhones got announced. My batteries stopped working. - Yeah, what's the deal? So your phone broken here up. And that was-- - I got a new screen. I replaced the screen at like this little back alley place in Europe and then I dropped it again the other day and it shattered and screen stopped working. It kind of goes like, it goes white over like 30 seconds and I get like a couple seconds of use out of it. What, yeah, the battery does not work. - Do you think even before I dropped it? - Oh, like it just, you don't have any good battery life. I have my battery life. - No, no, it's terrible. - Like mine would be, if I start using it at say nine, it'd be bad by 11 without fail. And then I got Ken's phone. So Ken gave me a new phone, shout out Ken, to use for the time being, oh, look, won't turn on because it's dead. This one doesn't work either. - That one's like four years old though, huh? Okay. - That one's like fully cooked. You guys believe that, like that they have that worked into the software, like the life span. - I think possibly, I think it also is just a result of the updates coming out and the updates are built around this type of software. So you have the old software that's now not as fast, not as powerful and it can't keep up with the new update. And then also batteries just over time, get worse and worse. No matter, it's just like your car battery. After a brand new battery versus a four or five year old battery, there's a difference. I wouldn't doubt it that they-- - Little shy. - Oh yeah, do you know how cheap these phones are to make? And they're just getting more and more expensive every year. Are you guys getting the foldable one? - No, I'm not. - That seems very unpractical. - I was surprised that Ken wasn't gonna get it. - I thought you were gonna get it for sure. - I would shatter that thing in the first month. I do agree with that. - I would ruin that thing and then I'd just be out of phone. - It seems very impractical. - I don't wanna have to fold it. It's just gonna be like this. We're really big, weird thing. - But think about how good it feels to get off the phone and then-- - I'm sorry. - It's a little smooth. - I didn't know it was just like the old phone. - Can I see a picture of the damn thing? - It's actually-- - I mean, it's an app folding eyebrow. I've seen the other folding iPhone, bro. - It's actually sick. - Yeah, I think it's really cool. - Just not gonna get it. - You can't use it closed. - No, you can't. - Yeah, it's actually-- - It's like kind of insane. - It's like half the size like this. And then-- - When it's closed, it's kind of like built like open it. And it probably is a little bit wire in this. - To go back on the phone slowing down in 2017 when the iPhone 7 came out. Apple was sued for $310 to $500 million. They ended up paying out $113 million, which is for pennies in the bucket. But anyway, for slowing phones down when the new one came out because they said that the new one couldn't reliably supply peak power or excuse me, your old one couldn't. So I believe they're still doing it. - Hold on, don't they make like a million dollars a second? - No, I think a minute. They make a million dollars a minute. That's like not even a fucking hours worth of revenue that they paid out. - How much revenue do they do a day? And then how much profit do they do? Like it's crazy profit. - You know what, the world needs them. - We do need Apple. You want to get in on the profit, just buy some stock, get some Apple stock 'cause we're not beating them. - Roughly 1.14 billion per day. - So that is about a little under $800,000 of revenue a minute. - Correct. - Okay, so just shy of a million bucks a minute, yeah. Net profit, about over 200, so two hours a minute. - Well, imagine paying getting that and then having the money to pay it back in two hours. You're sitting at the cord house, we're like, I'll give me a couple hours here, no. - I know that's not how finances work, but that's great. So you didn't even know the new iPhone was coming out? - No, I knew the new iPhone was coming out. I just literally haven't seen this. - What the fuck? (laughing) - Dude, if CJ hopped out of his Raptor and bought a fold in that shit and took a picture of it. - That'd be so funny. - What the hell? - Cool, I think it's cool, and it's interesting 'cause we've always been saying like, I think iPhone needs to like make a different phone. - Holy shit, I know why Ken didn't get it. It's 'cause he's a lefty and there are already people, lefties united are already pissed off 'cause it flips the wrong way for lefties. - I can already even think about that. - It's touch ID on the right side. - No facial recognition and only has one camera. - I guess. - No, it's got two on the back, not three. - Yeah, it's not as good of a camera, sorry. - My first thought is if that thing's in my pocket and you get a bunch of dirt in the middle, I feel like I'm sure there'll be screen protectors and cases and all that good shit, but. - The open screen isn't glass. It's like a plastic thing. So you're gonna destroy that thing if you get any dirt on it. - It'll be cool, I think. - The phone is so scratchy. - You Ken's phone has been a war. - I think I'll stick with this. - It's the one that he gave me. - I got that phone brand new. We go to Glamas and the screen was just never the same. That's from one day at Glamas. - That makes sense. - Yeah, damn. The worst part, I got denied my Apple Care thing 'cause I said like my charger wasn't holding the cord, like it would just fall out. And then maybe it still doesn't very well, but maybe it got a little better. And I brought it in and they're like, yeah, this isn't enough for a claim. But that was right around the time you said, you guys wanna run no cases? So I'm like, hell yeah dude, I'm getting a new one anyway. I like just royally toasted it and then they're like, yeah, you can't get a new one. - Oh, because you shot at it? - No, I didn't. So then I'm like, do I have to just intentionally shatter it, right? - Oh. - Or you can lose it. - Oh, yeah. - Fraud. - Yeah, she's right. - So like the folding iPhone, it's maybe not gonna be the most popular thing in America, but China sells more foldable phones than the entire rest of the world combined. - Wow. - Yeah, so China. - They mess with them then. - Is like super popular to have a foldable phone. - And it really is interesting that Samsung's been doing it for legit like five years, five plus years. - Did you see all the tweets when Apple was announcing it, when Samsung was like meaming them on Twitter? - I saw it for you. - Yeah, they was like welcome to 2017. - Yeah. - But per-use Apple did it better. - What the fuck is wrong with people that are against Apple? It just seems like such a superior product. And I know that even just triggered people that don't think that, but I don't know. - So it's like I have a thing that you say. - Well, I just like I use the MacBook and then the phone and they're so compatible together with like airdrop and everything. - And I think the like is someone who likes to kind of go against the grain. The worst part, because I completely agree. I agree is that that's what they want you to think. But I am saying I agree. I don't, you would never catch me wearing an Apple watch, but that's compatible, obviously with the phone and notifications and everything. And then I'm sure that's compatible with like the MacBook too. Like it's all pretty close ecosystem. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I was wearing you bought me your new, you had the new AirPods Pro's. I didn't realize this, but I had the old ones. And have you found the thing where you can put on background noise? - So like when you're watching a movie, you can turn on a background noise. So it sounds like there's a rain falling behind the movie. Or it's made to typically not do with things, but it's so it's like calming. If you're in like a space with a lot of people talking and you don't like all that, you can put them in. And then you can just listen to rain and it'll like calm you down. And for my spectrum of the Tism, that was actually kind of nice. - I just sat in the airport and listened to rain. And it was actually nice. - I did not know that. There's like, I'm pretty sure you can put those things in and they like translate to other languages too, no. - Yeah, they do, they work on that. - It is crazy just like how rapidly fast technology is progressing. I mean, how often you use chat GPT nowadays, just in your daily life to answer a quick question or figure out how to do something. Or just, I mean, you get phones and how much power there is. You have, you can be on your internet on a plane. You have so much accessibility. And then you can go to the middle of nowhere, middle of the desert and have internet because of Starlink, like it's just, it is amazing. - It's pretty impressive. - Have you guys seen all the people talking about like anti-AI and they're trying to like cancel AI? Like the advancements of AI because they're-- - I mean, there's no doubt there's going to be a lot problems that'll probably come from all this if they haven't already. - One of the like engineers from, or like one of the chief engineers from Anthropic, I think, quit and then went on a Twitter rant that basically said, like, you know, I was doing an audit of chat GPT and Anthropic and all these different like AI companies that are leading AI advancements and saying like, there's more than a 10% chance that AI is going to wipe out human civilization in the next 100 years. Something like that. Something crazy. - I pull up the exact-- - Yeah, you know, we'll be gone for sure, but-- - Pull up, well, yeah, but if you plan on having kids and grandkids and whatever. So pull up like the tweet, but that started it because this guy actually, you know, it's a pretty credible source. And then-- - I think Elon said that too though. - Yeah, I've heard that. And then people are saying we need to slow advancements of AI and because, you know, all these companies are in an AI race right now. And then-- - Google DeepMind guy said, AI could kill us all. - You know what you're talking about? Muse said a new chat thing. - Yeah. - It's like a AI assistant. I'm hesitant to actually use it because Muse has connection to your email, to your bank account, to all that shit.
So in theory, if it turned on you, it actually could fuck you over. Yeah, a lot of said that. She's like, I'm not giving all my data that matter. I don't want, I don't want them having access to that shit because they, they actually could just go, boom, you don't have money anymore. Like, let's just say it holds an eye robot on us and it's your fucked chances are everyone will be using it in a year or two years and or there'll be the next new thing that uses it. But yeah, I mean, it's just the risk to get you eventually. Do you guys hear that Anthropic was saying that they're like super profitable right now, but that they redefined like expenses or something. Yeah, they were just not including expenses into their profitability. They're like, we're the most profitable company ever. If you don't count our top five largest expenses. What? Oh, because they're going public. Yeah, they're going to, they have like a $2 trillion valuation and so they're trying to pump that. So they're like, no, no, no, you just, you just weren't super profitable. Don't look at these expenses. Greta was asking me, she was like, aren't you like worried about it and like, like, would you stop using it? I was like, I just have like a hard time believing that like the whole world would be like, oh, we need to slow advancements for like human civilization. You know that there's bad apples like in any, you know, any situation that are just like, we're not doing that. Like, we're going to keep going and then the other people are like, well, if you're not doing it, we're not doing it. I just don't foresee it happening. Dude, that's like the guy's flappy bird. Remember when he pulled flappy bird from the thing that he said people were spending too much time on it and he was like, it's bad for the brain. I was like, it's bad for society. So he pulled. Well, most corporations are operating like that. I know that. Was flappy bird like making money? I think they were making 50 grand a day. I saw that. I saw that. I saw that somewhere. He racked a day and he shut it down 2012, 2011 turned it around $50,000 a day from advertising, which is $18 million a year. Initially, the attention was ruining his previously simple life and he then explained the game felt too addictive and he said it intended for something people played to relax, but it had become a problem and decided removing it from the world was a solution. Geez. He made his money and was like, I got enough money now. I'm going to do something good to hold that shit. Well, that guy must get real pissed off when he goes on TikTok. His name was Don. Jetpack Joyride. That was another fun hit. Get a game. Angry Birds. Tomb runner. Subway surfer. Tiny Tower. Is it right over that one? I was thinking about Tiny Tower when we were stacking those shipping containers. Balloons tower defense. That was legendary. Is there still like games that people play like on the apps? Still ripping Angry Birds. I saw this little side note, like an inspirational thing and this guy is like saying, he's like that people who made Angry Birds released 50 games before Angry Birds and they were all flops and Angry Birds just so happens to be the number one played phone game in the world and then he was going on like, you know, so and so made 197 songs before one of their songs blew up. Don't give up. Were you inspired after that? I was very inspired. Yep, Mike. You brought through a wall. Yep. Last thing on tech probably because we're not very techy. Did you see that in the new Iowa, I'm calling the tech in the new iOS 27, they made it easier to hide your location from people for specific things like gifts or surprises. Nice. That's very wonderful. Because we have to fully cut our locations and it really fucks up. Like you can't even Google maps where you're going, you know, it's like pretty inconvenient, now it'll just hide it from your friend. That's very helpful for us and you still be off for that location. Yeah, yeah, it says hide location for today. You won't be able to see your friends won't be able to see your location and find my or messages. But like if you lose your phone while you turn it off, then you could still find it and stuff like that. So it's like it's built in. It's perfect for us. It's perfect for us. One of the men is coming over right now to see my truck because she asked what happened. I said, my truck is fucked and she thinks it's like total life. Oh, well, you got it. We got to get a reaction. You got to close the doors and then open them. Yeah, yeah. Get in and take it for a good, yeah, whatever should we, she must have turned around, turned around. How long were you running down? She thinks that I need another truck and she knows we are financially in a tough spot right now. So she is like, is she regretting giving Gavin the keys? Yeah. She said they came over, asked for the keys and she gave him to him because she was just like trying to, you know, help make the thing happen, which, you know, that's what I wanted to do. That's good. That's good. That's what she did. That's the biggest all access. Yeah. So as Ken had his fucking cybertruck in the other state and then he left his BMW hopefully at the shop. I was my BMW left at the shop, though, because it had a wood, because the tires got blown off of it. I was head of wood. They were half worn. They were fine. There was chunks coming out of them. What's about the siren system you had installed at your house? Oh, we're playing, we're playing dumb to this. Sirens installed last week. Genuinely, you're clip or wait, wait, wait, wait. Was it us that installed the sirens in Ken's bedroom that we can set off whenever we want? No, it's definitely or was it your Porsche sitting out in the water all night? Or was Ben Porsche going off all night? I heard you had sirens installed, brother. News to me. Your security guy who was our security guy said he installed speakers that you can hear from Zorbo's and a siren that you can hear from farther away, a siren system for like an alarm. So he was just trying to upsell us. He's upsellin. Yeah. He got upsold. He was talking to me. He's like, yeah, I don't know if I should tell you this, but yeah, like I'm installing sirens. I can like security sirens and I go, I think I'm going to stop it. That's just going to piss his neighbors off even more. He is totally upsellin. I did not. He wasn't trying to sell me on it. He just said that's why he's busy right now. I don't know. Maybe, dude. Maybe this guy. Maybe confused. You're getting gutsy. Oh, look at Ken. I just look against me. You're getting gutless right in center. Dude. I guess so. Yeah. I got punk there too. I don't know what the benefit of that was, you know, he's kids get a call that you got him so good. Is Alex back? Should we go go film it? Yeah. I think she's coming. I'll tell her. She's good. All right. Well, guys, you know, got to say it. Don't go. Don't forget to go to see what's he got calm and check out that giveaway. We got going. It ends on Sunday Sunday night at midnight. When we left, when Mike's bill lifted, you hit the eggs hit the plug. I never know what the fuck's got that thing. He's coming to E.V. Prospector. Ken's got it. It's on 40s. It's got a bunch of goodies under the hood and it's sick. And the Corvette is the same way with 900 horse from sick wheels. And it comes with a trailer to get the whole setup home for whoever takes it home. The sick setup. I know that. Dude. I am biased, but it's just like my favorite. It's so sick. So we're really excited to give this one away. And I'm excited to get my new truck here too, boys. So thanks for supporting. Peace. See you guys.
Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Cleetus conducted a high-energy 24-hour compound swap with the group, involving pranks that damaged multiple vehicles, including Evan’s El Camino and CJ’s Raptor.
The pranks went beyond typical humor, with vehicles being destroyed or severely damaged—such as the El Camino hitting a tree and the drift truck catching fire.
Despite the chaos, the group stayed respectful and avoided permanent financial or structural damage, though they regretted not going harder.
Mike was largely unscathed, which frustrated others, as he didn’t experience the same level of damage or pranks, sparking debate over fairness.
Cleetus’s actions included absurd and impractical modifications, like installing Lambo doors on a Raptor and painting the shop with an American flag, which sparked mixed reactions.
The group felt the pranks were entertaining and a form of healthy rivalry, but acknowledged they may have overstepped in terms of damage and irreversibility.
A major emotional hit was the lack of a personal note or apology from Cleetus, making the prank feel more like a betrayal than a game.
The group plans to return for a second compound swap with even more extreme pranks, signaling a shift toward greater chaos and creative destruction.
