PMS 2.0 1658 - MNF Recap, Darius Butler, Shams Charania, Kevin Weekes, Heather Dinich, Rece Davis, Ian Rapoport, & AJ Hawk

The college football CFP rankings release on Tuesday, November 2026, will offer critical insight into how the selection committee evaluates teams, with particular focus on Ohio State’s performance, BYU’s head-to-head win over Notre Dame, and the strength of schedules for undefeated teams like UCLA, Miami, and Utah. These factors will determine playoff positioning and reveal the committee’s priorities in balancing wins, losses, and schedule difficulty. In the NFL, the Chicago Bears are emerging as a dominant force under new head coach Ben Johnson, with defensive player Jeffrey Simmons making a transformative impact, disrupting defenses and elevating team morale. The Bears’ success, combined with Caleb Williams’ quarterback play, positions them as a top Super Bowl favorite. Meanwhile, the NBA faces major injury disruptions, with stars like Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton out, while players such as Luca Dantes and Jason Taylor shine in scoring and leadership. In the NHL, player empowerment is driving significant shifts—Dylan Larkin’s potential trade from Detroit and Kucherov’s contract issues reflect deeper tensions between players and teams, showcasing a new era of accountability and player agency. Overall, the night highlights the volatility and unpredictability of sports decision-making, where performance, injuries, and player-driven narratives shape outcomes across leagues.

Hello beautiful people and welcome to our humble about the draft Kings Thunderdome on the CFP rankings Tuesday November 2026 support program gives out Football is the greatest had to get in there because this is CFP rankings Tuesday This is a gigantic ordeal obviously get out and vote hell yeah a lot of people have done a lot of things in the past to earn Us that right to be able to do with such hope everybody You know empowers themselves to go on and do that but on that note tonight There's some votes taking place in the college football world that will forecast what the future is going to look like for the rest of the season Who will be at the top of the CFP rankings and who will file into top 11 and maybe the group of six or power six Team is already in the top 12, but tonight we get a little bit of a sense about how this group of humans who take a hat off Okay, they all wear their hats how do you get in the building got to have the hat you get into the next room Has to be this hat and they take their hats off they put it on the hat rack then they get in there and they go to work And they decide who is going to make it into the playoff who's not going to make it into playoff last year The 12 team playoff who's going to be on the bubble who's going to be pissed who is inevitably Gonna benefit either the teams that have a couple losses to really good teams or the teams that have a lot of wins I think we get a sense of where this particular group of voters is going to be at the end of the season And how we can judge them accordingly Reese Davis who will be joining us in about 39 minutes will get to interview hunter your check I believe out of Arkansas who will be the voice of the CFP committee after they release the rankings tonight at seven o'clock Eastern on ESPN so college football has a huge day ahead of themselves today Can't wait to talk about that all and then last night the NFL had a little paradigm shift. Oh boy. I mean Indianapolis coats uh season ticket holder and alumni Have played against the Titans obviously since I've gotten here We had a lot of success against the Titans We've also failed against the Titans on numerous different occasions including this year which led to an entire Fire everybody. Let's get on move on from everybody Jeffrey Simmons for the Tennessee Titans is a man that I don't think a lot of people got a chance to experience We'd see it every time he came into Lucosville stadium and we'd be reminded quickly holy hell that guy has a better engine Than everybody else that's on the field. He's working hard uh that guy will disrupt every single play that guy will block a kick And if it's no coincidence that they blocked a kick last night Jeffrey Simmons will have that happen more often and if they have punt safe on which is when a defense just says We're gonna let the other team punt. We're not gonna rush it and Jeffrey Simmons will still be on the field for punt safe He might block a punt for the Chicago Bears this year as well. He never stops people talk about Max Crosby like that because Max Crosby has earned that right He's an energizer bunny out there Jeffrey Simmons does that on the inside of the line never stops stronger than everybody Grace Able who just had to move back to the right side Of the offensive line first time in a few years since college he did that because Quentin Nelson comes in and is now the left guard And he he got attacked by Jeffrey Simmons You saw those big orange sleeves that he is wore for his daughter so she can see him on the field So it's easier to pick him a part of in the middle of the trenches and he founds Able early if felt like and he did one of these to his brand new team I'm gonna go I'm gonna go right here and he he He wrecked that entire game. Yeah, Jeffrey Simmons wrecked the entire game in light to the biggest loss of McDonald's had In I don't know since he's been a head coach at home on Monday night And what this Chicago Bears team now looks like is the favorites to win the Super Bowl San Francisco 49ers a plus 580 yesterday to win the Super Bowl. They had the best odds They thought they were the books think they are the favorites to win I don't think anybody with eyes that watch last night thinks that anybody is gonna be able to beat this team Who's gonna stop Jeffrey Simmons and if you stop Jeffrey Simmons sweat his college teammates start to eat as well Everybody lifted their spirits and whenever you have a guy in there who's maybe the best player on the field But also the hardest working that that motivates and inspires everything not the Ben Johnson needed that He's already building incredible culture with a bunch of young guys who are absolute dogs But dropping Jeffrey Simmons into that building I think we're about to see the Ben Johnson Bears version that you know they were dreaming of whenever he was the bell of the ball and gets hired as their head coach Caleb Williams stud. I mean, he started to do the all. I mean, it's just the Bears right now are a wagon Ponderatory Taylor phenomenal at what he does and then kicker car never misses So you look at all facets of ball right now the addition of Jeffrey Simmons for two ones and a four Two ones and a four with some people thought that's a lot of picks That's a lot of picks It's like well if they just dominate everybody for the rest of the year and they win the damn Super Bowl Is that a perfect trade? Yeah, I'd say what a special night in Seattle is my first time getting a chance to be on the field At Lumin field you can feel it looks sick. Yeah, it is. That's a special venue I mean, that's by far the best that the NFL has and whenever you're talking about in comparison to like college or Soccer pundits or anything like that got chance to catch up with everybody I think the coolest part of being a part of Monday night countdown obviously getting to work with the great folks Swagu last night watching his boy walk into his first game against Chicago state was a cool moment Jay Mac has been so incredibly fun to learn about Scott fam pellets been doing this for what 30 years But it's always Jason Kelsey. Love him. He's one of the most hilarious and talented humans I've been around but getting a chance to like see everybody has been very cool We talk a lot about a lot of these guys and then we learn quickly, you know that they potentially see us as well And we'd like to say uh if we've ever said anything negative about you in here. Hey, love what you're doing They love what you're doing out of football field Tyson Beijing said that he loves let's go to the talks of table at Boston Conner and at Tashmit He came up to me, you know good conversation goes man I love when that guy with the long hair Conner just talking shit. I like that. I'm like oh wait Did we talk shit about Tyson Beijing in here and he heard it? Is that him telling me to let you know that he heard or is he actually a guy who enjoys listening to us talk shit about people So I'm kind of balancing that in real time, you know Super Bowl radio row was the first time Where we had to encounter all these people that say terrible stuff about us and we say terrible stuff back And now we're all in the same room. Let's do that. That was a few years back now with the NFL stuff It's like everybody that I'm like man. What have we have Has anybody in here let one fly you know about anybody because everybody here's everything now including us I mean, we hear everything as well But these teams and get in chance to see them so big so strong so fast so athletic and last night was a showcase of two The NFL's best and Chicago Bears just might be the absolute best Swift goes for three obvious. I think you only have like 60 some yards. He didn't need it Burton was unstoppable. Ron Medunze has the big one there. Love one made some catches and Ben Johnson's cook And I snapped to a running back pitched Caleb throw that thing deep I mean they have it all in Chicago and that NFC North is a real problem at tight Schmidt Your Green Bay Packers fan obviously NFC North is historic right now. Yeah record breaking. They're saying 17 and three or something like that through the season and that's the best record for a division Ever I believe since the 1970 merger so the MC North is a problem for everybody Chicago Bears might have put their flag at the top of that NFC North last night It's hard not to be impressed with what we saw and it's crazy to think just the addition of one particular game Record in the middle that I think a lot of people are getting introduced to including us I don't think I knew that he would be like that immediately with Chicago Bears I knew how good of a football player was he's dominated the Colts anytime. He's played against us I don't think I expected that to immediately go. Oh shit. They are gonna win it all this year That's what it felt like last night with the Bears. Yeah, I mean There certainly I think the best team in the NFC. I don't think that's a question I think after last night you could say that this might be the best team in the NFL And I'm not naive to it either which is why I mean I picked him yesterday like I thought that this might be and Jeffrey Simmons Yes, that's just the kind of the cherry on top of what they've been doing But like we showed the clip of it like what Caleb second and 12 third quarter 10 and a half minutes left It looks like Seattle is ready to swallow him up and okay You're gonna have a third 19 and this might be the moment where Seattle kind of you know gets the ball in decent field position gets back into it He somehow gets out of it and throws a strike down the middle of the field to 20-yard game they go on to score right there So like Caleb Williams being healthy clearly I mean like you know earlier in the season the Packers beat the Bears 31-7 and Even that you can't really you don't take much from that because the magic man's not playing when Caleb Williams is out there They're at there who they are and then you add a guy like Jeffrey Simmons and you see what it does to their defense overnight So yeah, they're scary the Jeffrey's dappin everybody up on the sideline. It's his first game only been there a few days Celebrate with Caleb Caleb. I guess we're screaming on a sideline allegedly. That's not Jeffrey That's hefe that is heavy right there I for my understanding that was being said on the sideline and I think Ben Johnson is welcomed it They have their culture already set and then whenever you drop somebody that's perfect for your culture in there Who's also a leader? It's like it only only raises it gets a game bone his first game in his first couple days there What a perfect start for them and that's why two ones and a four is not bad was Ryan post trying to wheel and deal Don't like it. Yeah, give me a fifth. Yeah, he looks super cool though. I mean, I was one of the best GM looks I've seen they get him a longer cord on the phone. Yeah, I like that is he It's got it. Yeah, it was a road road. Yeah, that's what it looks like as he stretch out. You know former Olam. He looks pretty good out there in that suit Looks pretty comfortable. He's on the phone wheeling and dealing potentially in the middle of that game. It's like good for both Yeah, those phones can't be hacked. Can't use a cell phone. Yep. Mm-hmm. Oh, okay. Mm-hmm. It's a good point Hardwire not toppled crap. No, no, no because it's not connected to the 5G towers. Yeah. Oh, okay So the 5G towers is where they're not that's really got to stay in a lot of these days brother Yeah, well for my or stand there's a lot of potential interlocking going on one half of the hammer dad Cowboys AP Toners here. Congratulations to the Chicago Bears getting points on the road huge win dogs barking last night in Seattle Yeah dogs continue to bark on the season especially in prime time We had a couple games where they had not barked But they are back on that now and it continues to trend this year where you know the the more that you are a dog The better chance you have it's covering the spread that we talked about how if you're seven plus your you're, you're covering at 80 point or 80% of the time this season. If you're three plus, you're covering at 60% of the time this season. So yeah, it's been a, it's been a dog eat dog world out there this year. And now Simmons plus 1000 to when defense player of the year, that's fourth. So, you know, he was raised his game there and the bears are now fourth in Super Odds as well, just behind the Niners in the NFC. Well, that makes sense. That certainly makes sense. Ben Johnson, prime time against the spread, eight, one, very good. Okay. So prime time is normally best teams. You're playing now there's some. Well, there's been, there's some coming Sunday night football. There's some coming to, there's some shite ones on the way too. We know that that happens. We need to start flexing more. That needs to become a thing that is celebrated as opposed to, you know, like a downgrade. That is an upgrade. You are getting promoted to prime time to represent our league. We appreciate that. That should be how flex is talked about. But there is remember travel ticketing a lot of stuff like that for fans, which we don't want to piss off. No. Anyways, Ben Johnson, though, as a, as a coordinator, also phenomenal against spread. I feel like people have respect for Ben Johnson, but I guess the sportsbooks just can't get around to the fact that Ben Johnson might go in the Seattle against the World Champs and just do his thing against them to the biggest tune lost that they have seen out there. Joining us now is a man who might have a little bit better take than all of us. I assume that'll be the case, battling through some traveling woes down there in South Florida. I hope you remain safe. Ladies and gentlemen, 9-year NFL event, Jerry St. Butler, everybody, what's up, Lance? How we doing? Hey, I'm happy to see you're in good spirits, positive spirits, traveling woes will certainly be a bummer. You were great to catch up with you last night. This Jeffrey Simmons experience with the Chicago Bears started pretty, pretty handily. Your thoughts on two ones and a four for a guy that changes their gaming completely? I mean, anytime it's not a quarterback or a touchdown score, you know, a lot of people want to say, hey, you overpaid for a guy, but you saw it in the middle. I believe in first play of the game and first drop back of the game. He got a sack. I know it was a penalty. But here's unbelievable. We talk about the trenches every week with AQ and you know, it always starts in the trenches. So you have a guy that can dominate and out of the interior. It's going to help everybody. You saw the rest of that D line kind of step up and play their best ball. But I mean, if you talk about winning Super Bowl, you need that. You need playmakers on defense, but you need a phenomenal quarterback and Kayla Williams, man, him healthy in this Ben Johnson offense. The weapons, you know, burden, loveling, Rome showed up, obviously swift in the Menon guys even out there yet. But if those guys are all clicking, I don't know who's playing better quarterback right now in the NFL. It's probably Kayla, Josh Allen, Joe, bro, after that, you know, and you can kind of pick any of those three names out of a hat and just ride with him at this point. But if you look at this whole team, obviously that division top down is good. But I mean, the Bears are very, very impressive. The only weakness I see with the team, stopping them from going to LA and representing NFC and Super Bowl as a cornerback, if they can get more production or better production from the cornerback position, I think this team is going to be all right. Trade deadline November 10th, they obviously have given up a lot of big pieces, but can still make some moves. Maybe polls was during that last night during the damn game. You talk about Caleb. I mean, it was jugs machines coming out of his hand right there, although shots from behind, I mean, it is just the guy's arm talent absurd. This is what they were talking about when he was coming out of college, it's like we are talking about a generational talent and talents out of a guy. And I know people might have thought this was a little bit out of pocket to say. But I think Caleb watching Case Kingdom and Tyson Bage have success in the offense when the entire conversation is like, hey, you're more athletic and better than everybody that's ever played in this particular offense. So if you can do this offense and on top, it would be great. I think him getting to watch Case operate the offense, just that's all he did was Jared Garfatic. No, I'm not saying that bullshit. I'm not saying. I don't know who else was saying it, but I ain't saying it. You don't think that was good for Caleb to watch that? Perspective is always good. But if you are in there, and I know you're not a quarterback, but you saw some punner that had an eighth of your talent get out there and have a good game or good couple of games because he did what exactly what Mitch told me to do, you're not going to be like, oh, you know what? No. The clear cut number one, he was the, the everybody called him an air parent of Patrick my home. Hey, this is the new prototype. Whatever. And he came in. But what everybody was worried about and whether it was the fingernails or the crying on your mom's shoulder, all other bullshit that happened at USC in Oklahoma. That's what people worried about. Like, hey, how can he lead a locker room? How can he do all the other things? Can he run a huddle? Can't he draw the other bullshit? And that's when he's kind of knocked out in part of flying colors, colored Ben Johnson. You saw it even last night on the sideline, they were up like 34 or 17, I believe he's on the sideline with the defense Simmons and the boys like, hey, let's go. Then after the game saying, we're smashed from our football team. So him being completely balled into the team aspect because whatever the narrative was about him being a me guy or him being this or him being at him being the guy in LA. All these different things. I think everything that you've seen him actually do as the quarterback, as the leader of the Chicago Bears is not, I didn't expect to be this great. We all expect him to be a great quarterback, great football player, great throw of the ball, but all the other shit is kind of what I've been blown away by, and then Ben Johnson, you know, being the leader of men and he is. He saw him in the locker room doing a good, better best. And getting John Simmons on board, making sure he knows the word, just all that other shit that made me fans of these different teams, rather than Eagles when they're hot or anybody like that. But my daughter is struggling. My coach is struggling. My Eagles stink. Boy. Bird out. Look at you got a bear's hat traveling through the airport. Good positive conversations and interactions, fresh off a massive Monday night win. To your point about Caleb buying in and being this guy, like every time I hear him give an answer, I just think to myself, this dude's so well studied. Like he studies leadership. I think on his, on his phone, it's like to all the Tom Brady's accolades. And I think he like does research on how guys respond and how they act. He wants to be like the guy. He really wants to. So every answer he gives, I think that is coming from a place of a guy that he wants to be greatest of all time, whenever it's all said and done. I appreciate the way he talks. I appreciate the way he leads. I love the Ben Johnson's, the guy that has the controls over what the offense is with him. And we're watching something that could be electrifying for the rest of the year. Jeffrey Simmons, let's do one last thing with him now. On a defensive side, you talk about their corners. Their corners are in a much better spot whenever Jeffrey Simmons on a field right because they're going to, that's why I think the first third down that Seattle picked up was the touchdown to Jackson Smith and Jigba right before half time. Jeffrey Simmons not on the field. That was the first third down that he was not on the field for. Stevenson bites on the double move, little slug out here from Jackson Smith and Jigba. I know everybody in the defense side of the ball says, how do you do that? But Jeffrey Simmons does help everybody on that defense, right? Immediately, that's the case. And what are they going to do with him or is there more that the bear's defense will only learn to do with him? How do you see it kind of evolving, if you will, from night one? Which was perfect. I think, yeah, I think he just let him do what he does. And then you know, obviously the offense is going to have to, you know, put doubles on them, sometimes triple teams and that's going to free the other guys up. But you told my that, listen, even that play with Stevenson, like everybody, I mean, everyone, I don't care if you're a casual, if you're an expert, it's like, why is it JSC getting double more than anybody? I think Jamar Chase may oppose the question maybe four or five weeks back on his podcast. Like, hey man, I'm not seeing the same doubles, but I mean, that's the only guy they can throw the ball to and be successful in this office consistently. So I don't understand why they are double in that situation is 13, 10. You're kind of in that fringe field goal area. Dennis Allen blitz is more than anybody, he's probably trying to blitz him and knock him out of field goal range there. But that's the risk that you take is kind of leaving the corners that style. You can't bite on the double move in that situation, even though you're expecting quick pressure. But I think Dennis Allen is going to do what he does. I think he may start to pressure less and probably cover those corners up a little bit more because if you watch like Brian Flores, for example, he blitzes a ton more than anybody in history, but he also protects his corners at the same time. Like he plays with a lot of vision on the back end and safe these corners that have vision on the quarterback, that vision on guys that are catching the balls so they can quickly make tackles. So now if you're Dennis Allen, you don't have to be as aggressive because you have this monster in the middle. He's just right. I mean, and then the bright sleeves only make it worse. Sweet. Because you're seeing. I love that. You know exactly where he is. Exactly. And you're seeing little humans in between his arms. I mean, there is a hip toss on Zabel in that first core or first half where I'm like, man, that son. And you see it because there's orange sleeves are like going through there. I love what the Bears have done. I enjoy watching. They said that guy was just thinking to himself, oh my god, we got Caleb and we got Jeff Simmons. We're going to wear a Zuber bow here. They also have Dr. Goldman, remember the psychologist. Yeah. He has an office in the building up there at the Bears. I ran into him before the game alongside former team into my Cal Devane, who is one of the coaches for the Bears. Feels like Ben Johnson runs a great building. And Ryan Poles is piecing together a hell of a roster. Debut. Safe travels. We appreciate the hell out of you. And then I'll see you tomorrow. That's Derek Shabund. Yeah. He's been in it. Yeah. That sucks. I guess there's I've seen some videos coming out from down there. I mean, the Panthers game. People trying to leave sunrise yesterday for the Florida Panthers game. They were walking with water up to their knees in the parking lot. Well, they're getting off the school bus. Yeah. The water's like up to his chest. I mean, just, you know, it's nuts. Yeah. So obviously positive vibes. Everybody going through that. That's scary stuff. I mean, it's absolutely terrible. You have what you have in it. What do you do? Nothing. There's nothing you can do. You have to kayak. Yeah, I guess. That's like, are we out at Pornado season here? We are. Yeah. Yeah. Well, who knows? It's beautiful today. It's great. in Indiana. Bill's game. Bill's game on Sunday was the hottest bill. game they've ever had in November. Also, it's a little El Nino go. It is a little El Nino, but it normally leads to a little bit of a devastating winter. I think in a wet spring or a wet spring coming on the other side there. So we've seen the El Nino weather front system before. It's wreaking havoc. Yeah, it certainly is, but we got warm weather here, which means we're going to pay for that on the other side. So we apologize to anybody going through it right now, we're on your side. But on that note, we need to dive a little bit deeper into some of these sports that are happening right now. They're sports that are tipping off and dropping puck early in this entirety. And then there's a sport releasing its first ranking that means anything tonight. So we can't be the people that do that. No, no, we don't have the brains to do it. We need to go a little bit deeper, don't we? Let's go ahead and feel the beat. Joining us now, insider for the NBA, as the association tips off and has a lot of storylines happening in front of our eyes, ladies and gentlemen, senior insider for ESPN, Sean Sharon. Yeah, Sean. Sean Mo. Good to see you, buddy. That. Good to see you. Did we dive right in? We're ready. Well, this is what field of beat is. Okay. So we, let's act like some of us, not me, obviously. But some sports people have not been able to keep up with the NBA. What we need you to do is tell us exactly what we need to know for if we were to start watching every game tonight, going forward. What would be a good catch up? For instance, I've heard his injuries go or is that the big storyline around the NBA right now? Is just all stars out? Is this the thing that is driving topics over there in the NBA world, Sean? Unfortunately, that's been a big part of the early start. We look at all of these all stars that are out, I mean, Tyres Albert and Indiana's own Anthony Edwards out for at least two months, Kauai Leonard out, Paula Bancaro, Jalen Williams, Chet Homegren, Jalen Dern, John Rand, Jalen Jackson, Jr. And there's like different prongs to all these injuries. I look at Kauai Leonard and Anthony Edwards. This is where and tear for them. Then you have Jalen Williams and Jalen Jackson, Jr. and Paula Bancaro all having freak injuries basically. Kauai is running into the leg, obviously Jalen Williams, just an awful, awful scene in Oklahoma city on October 25th when he basically came down under on his leg, ends up dislocating his ankle and then fracturing his leg. So that was nasty. And then Tyres Albert and John Miranda, those are soft tissue injuries here early in the season. Chet Homegren, he suffers an injury on October 25th as well, Pat. The thunder looked like they were the team to beat, that they were going to go and potentially win a championship when they dismantled the spurs on opening night on October 20th. And then in one night in the same game on October 25th, just three games into the year. They lose three starters for 20 games or more. That's the first time in NBA history that a team has lost three starters for 20 games or more on the same night, just devastating for them. And then they also obviously are without case in Wallace. He had a freak injury and Jalen sucks. So injuries has definitely taken storm over the first part of the year. I saw LeBron James on his podcast today, say he thinks it might be that guys aren't playing enough in the off season as far as really ramping up and going a hundred miles per hour. But can we talk about positives as well? Yeah, let's do that. Let's absolutely do that. People need to see. Yeah, absolutely. On a night tonight basis. I know you love watching Luca Dantes right now. The guy is putting up 40 point burgers every single night, I think that's a double 20 point burger. Stacked on company, trying to win a little extra cheese in there and there's a lot of burgers. There's more than just cheese on there. There's everything. Let it all be. To all beef, patty, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, oh my God, he's got three different patties on there. But I think Luca Dantes has been a treat to watch and Janus last night actually said, he's not just the best score in the NBA now, he's one of the best scores of all time. And so you're already starting to see praise come Luca Dantes his way. And defensively, that's the biggest point, right? He's gotten a lot of lack over the years on defense, but you're seeing him take more charges this year to get turnovers. He's averaging steep more steals this year. And when I talk to people in LA, they're seeing him take more ownership on defense than ever before. I don't do rankings, but I'll do rankings for you Pat. I look at Luca Dantes, Tyrese Maxi and Philadelphia after he's led them. He's their number one guy right now, even Jalen Brown has admitted. It's to the point where LeBron James is running into the audience, drinking his wine during the game, shout out to LeBron and getting his wine in during the game. But I would look at Luca Dantes, Tyrese Maxi, he goes out, Xander, Victor Woman Yama, Jason Tatum, okay, Dave Cunningham, those are my five or six guys that I'm looking at right now as far as MVP so far this season. >> Okay, Luca, this is his Lakers now. This is his Lakers. This is his team. He loves them. >> Sorry, he's going to bleed threes, but he does love bleed threes as well. >> He's always been a great source, he's in better shape than ever. JJ Reddick now, his coach, him and Luca are going to be judged off of how each other do. We assume they love each other, JJ Reddick and Luca are the biggest fans of each other? >> JJ is one of the most intense coaches I think in the NBA, but he's had the full support of the two people that matter the most. Luca Dantes and Austin Reeves, and so Luca and JJ actually played together in Dallas. They've been full steam ahead, they've been completely locked in. They can talk to each other in ways that not many players and coaches can talk to each other because of the mutual respect they have. So those guys have always been on the same page, and JJ's been getting a lot out of this team already this year. They've got two guys, Zaire Williams and Matisse Tybal, a minimum contract starting for them in the starting lineup along with Walker Kester and the aforementioned Austin Reeves and Luca Dantes. >> Okay, so JJ Reddick Austin Reeves, Luca Dantes are taking the show on a road. I'm excited to see what the Lakers are in this post LeBron James air. Tyree's Maxi best player for the Sixers. That's fascinating because that means they're going to be deep and great. LeBron James, I think he hit a shot last night that kind of won home and he did a little drop that thing. I think it was hot there, did a little dancing, grabbed some wine, some vino. He was having a great time out there. Sixers are legit, it sounds like and seems like, and every time LeBron's on a team, they're always good. Somebody's going to have to pay respects to that. And then there was a player you mentioned there that obviously got the ThunderDome excited. More specifically, one man. Last question for you, go ahead Connor. Thanks, James. You mentioned it there, Jason Taylor. It feels like the him and Paul George duo has really kind of taken off really. It was a tough one last night against the Rockets, but overall, what have you seen from Boston with, you know, Paul George being kind of that number two and what do you expect from them going forward this season? I think Jason Taylor is going to put up big numbers all year. I think getting Paul George a two-way player to go alongside Jason Taylor and the pecking order is very clear. This is Paul George has said from the beginning, this is Jason Taylor's team. I'm here to elevate him. And I think that is the biggest difference for the Celtics clearly, and the Celtics made their decision. They wanted to go in a different direction, whether it was finances, whether it was the team style that they felt Jason Taylor was their guy. And that's the decision they made and Taylor is going to put up big numbers this year. The question is going to be how high do they finish in the Eastern Conference. I can certainly see a window of they finish with the number one or number two seed. You have to look at Jason Tatum as a top three MVP candidates. All right. We appreciate the hell out of you, Shoms. We can't wait to dive in. Obviously, we're watching. Did you see that WWE play as well, Pat? The Draymond Greens get a little, I didn't know Draymond's still at his fastball. Yeah. I like you still got a little heat out there. He's accomplished a lot. He's become a very wealthy man. He is a very popular podcast. Any, you know, kind of an interesting tackle, a little bit of a throw, belly to belly, side tossing, and Dylan Brooks, no stranger to confrontation, he says, you can't be doing that when I'm on the court. And you're going to say, well, you can do a very young rookie doing that, and you grab just saying maybe start strangling a little bit. I didn't know Draymond still had it. I had no idea at this stage of his life, to still have this ability to get this fired up, to tackle somebody clearly illegal, okay, I can't do it, clearly. And then to also grip somebody up at this stage of life, I mean, that is crazy. Still a Draymond Green basketball, I guess that's Draymond Green basketball. It's been like this since the beginning. Axel's the start over there though, huh? Yeah, Axel's the one. >> Yeah, Axel's the real deal. He's changed their entire outlook this year. I mean, the fact that he's been able to come in already be a number one option. I mean, he's playing like an All-Star already, right off the bat. And there hasn't been All-Star as a rookie since Blake Griffin patents. And yeah, Axel, right now, the way he's leading this team, I don't think anyone could have expected this. And so he's been dominant, honestly. I mean, I was watching the game the other night, I mean, when he had 37 points, this guy's already turning heads in Golden State. And he's changed their entire trajectory. As far as Draymond Green is concerned though, I do not expect him to have any more discipline on that. I don't expect the NBA to discipline Draymond Green any further for this play right here. So don't expect anything more, but Draymond clearly got his lick in right there. Okay, he got ejected in third quarter there, so he missed a final 12 and then 10 there. And, you know, I mean, Draymond's letting everybody know early. You think you're just going to be able to stand in the paint and get a layup around me? I don't think so. I will still tackle you. I will still do something that's not supposed to happen on basketball court, just to let you know that we don't play around here. Okay. Draymond Green is going to keep doing it. I guess until he's in. Depends. Yeah. Yeah. He's not going on. Respect. We appreciate the hell out of you, that's Shum Shura. - Hey, that's the NBA, is there any other sports going on? Let's feel the beat. (upbeat music) - It's nice to get back into the field of beat there. - Been a while. - Yeah, it has been a while. Usually you do with beat reporters and it's why we're feeling the beat, you see. Instead, we're going to insiders from entire leagues. Ladies and gentlemen, Insider Pundit, former goalie for the NHL for 11 years. Ladies and gentlemen, from ESPN, Kevin Wee. (clapping) - Weexay. - What's going on, fellas? What's going on? - Hey, thank you for voting. Weexay. (clapping) - Thank you for voting, weexay. - Thank you, man. - Yeah, weexay. - We got great weather to do it here in the Midwest. Hopefully everybody does. A lot of things have happened in the past for us to have the ability to vote. So, you new citizen to the United States of American voting, congrats and welcome. Welcome, brother. - Go, weexay. - Thank you, it's a privilege. I appreciate that. Thank you, fellas. - No problem. Now let's talk about a privilege that we have in learning from you. What the hell is going on in the NHL? Hey, everybody wants out of their towns? I didn't know that happened in hockey. It's been happening at a much more rapid public rate. I think that I've experienced in a while. Now we got Detroit and Tampa has their stars basically saying we won out of town. Can you tell us about those two in any other storylines that should be chatted about with the NHL thus far? - A lot of storylines, right now we're at our player and NHL player empowerment era. That's what we're in right now. The players have a lot more juice. The players are a lot more vocal. They're unafraid to express themselves in a lot of ways and say, hey, listen, you often communicate the coaches, Pat, you know this too. I want you to take ownership. I want you to take ownership of your game. I want you to take ownership and leadership of this team. I want you to be vocal where you're needed to be vocal. They're doing all of that. But in addition to that, they're saying, well, since you've said those things to me and since you've communicated those things to me, hey, you talked about accountability. You say all these things, you preach all these things. Well, all those things now are not just kind of a one-way street. It's a two-way street. So the players feel a lot more confident in expressing themselves, hey, we need to be doing this. What's the setup like? What do we have in place? Okay, for Dylan Larkin, he's grown up his entire life in pure Michigan, the state of Michigan. His entire life, he's played every level from youth hockey, university of Michigan, of course, Detroit Redmings. Of course, he has a ton of emotional equity in Detroit. But it's been a challenge. We know that 10 years, no Stanley Cup playoffs. There have been things that were said behind the scenes. Some of his contracts stuff along the way. They've kind of sputtered in terms of getting to the number to get him his contract. There have been some bad blood, some bad feelings. And ultimately, that wasn't able, rather, to be overcome. So for Dylan Larkin now, he's now stepped away from the club that he grew up loving, that he bled for, that he dreamed of playing for, and that he played for. And he's waiting for a trade. He's expanded on that 10 team list. There are other teams outside the list that are contacting him. Obviously, contacting Detroit Redmings and Dylan's representative Pat Berson from CAA. So I'm curious to see where this goes. There's a lot of interest. I just don't know what the price is going to look like to Dylan Larkin. - Weaksy, here's the thing about hockey. You guys, this very rarely happen. I mean, Halibuk just got traded. He's a big name goalie. - I'll be doing this game tonight. - Yeah, okay. So I can't wait to see how he continues to do. But it's like, is there a lot of comps in the NFL? We're in the middle of trade season. And we can always comp back to another trade that has happened. Because it's a very standard practice for us. The NBA standard operating system, the trade. The NHL very rarely do you see the high end guys get traded. I mean, Sidney Crosby has been playing for the Pittsburgh thing, which is 2009. I think they signed like eight year contracts whenever they signed the NHL. And very rarely are they broken. They're always finished and then they're renewed normally with the city in which they say, this is an abnormal thing. I don't think a lot of people that don't watch NHL often know that. So whenever you talk about comps, what are you trading for Dylan Larkin? Is that like a two one type situation? Like we have another sports because he's a legend. And what about Kutrov down there in Tampa? He's another stud who's a very good player. Like what is a comp and what does happen through these processes that I think is abnormal for your guys' league? It's very abnormal. I'll get to the coach momentarily. But keep in mind, Dylan Larkin was a captain in Detroit, too. And Detroit's his hometown on top of that. So can I pull a comp? Maybe a Jalen Brown type player. Obviously, MVP won a final, everything else, all star perennial. But when you're superstars like a Jalen Brown, we've got traded to the sixers in the NBA and the association. When you're superstars are getting traded or fly back to my hometown of Toronto, when you're superstars are getting traded, we've seen that more in the NBA. And I'm glad that you pulled that. We don't see it as much in the NFL. We saw Michael Parsons a couple of years ago. But it's rare. And in our league, it's even more rare. I'm going to go to Kuterov now. Kuterov's done everything for Tampa. This guy's a Hall of Fame lock already. And I remember checking in on this. I told my man E.J. Radick on the NHL network. My partner was like, each, I've been asking these guys about this since September. What happened? They didn't sign them. He's an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. And then in talking to sources, which we reported, and I reported the other day, they didn't offer him $13 million. It was under $13 million in the first offer. Then they revised the offer. And the offer was in and around $15 million. And that was only after Leo Carlson got the offer sheet from Philly. So if you're a coach, you're like, bro, I've won two Stanley cups. I'm League MVP. I'm an all-star every season I wake up. I'm one of the hardest working players. I've made teammates here in Tampa better. We've won with me. I love being in Tampa. What are we going to do now? Chop my arm off to get a market deal. Kill McCarr, who's amazing, by the way, one of the best in the world as well as a defenseman Nordstrom be winner. He signed for $20. And Tampa came to coach that under $13 million. And then $15. They say they're not going to trade. Coach, I'm not sure if that makes sense to not trade them since you basically are walking into free agency at the end of the season. Might as well try to recoup some assets. But here's what I'm going to say to the audience. Prosports are now like college programs, as you'd say. And you've got to make sure that you run your Prosports organization. You've got to take care of everybody. Just like you do on your show. Take care of everybody. Take care of the staff. Take care of the trainers. Take care of the players. The player's significant others. The families, their parents, you come in town. There's a hospitality element to this now. And when you miss on some of those things, those are unforced errors. And sometimes those can lead to irreparable differences. And that's what we've seen in these cases. Yeah, you feel a little disrespect. You went out of a place especially when you're a good player. Nowadays with the amount of tension that is spotlight that comes to everything like this. Maybe a team does get a little excited. Maybe Pittsburgh just brings them all in. Sure, maybe Pittsburgh. That would be unreal. Yeah, it would be. It would be good. Coach, get coach to Pittsburgh. Get larkin to Pittsburgh. Come on, we want to have a buck too. Bring them out into the dirt and I get him. All the old people. Yeah, we know. But you know what's crazy though? You know what's crazy? The phones are lighting up. Everybody that I've spoken to from teams, they're now wondering, what can I do to get coach? What can we do to get coach? How do we get in there? He got 1 p.m. 22. Whatever the max percentages of the cap. We'll pay a match. We'll get in here. Coach is about to get his cake and eat it too. I mean, bring him back. He's going to be Dunkin' Hines. All the cake. Oh, wow, maybe King Timmy Horton too on the side there. Hey, last question, speaking of King, Conor McDavid. What, yeah, this is outrageous, right? I think for people that don't watch hockey, they should know that there's a man that's currently playing in the NHL who might be the most electrifying in the history. Can you tell me a little bit more about Conor and the start that he has right now? Yeah, Conor McDavid, this is him at the garden just across the Hudson from here. Watch this one on four. No, paint some on Alisa and scores this one. He's so dirt, he's so dirty, he's filthy. The speed, he's supersonic. I've never seen a player of all the great amazing players starting with Gretz, the Goat, Merrill the Goat, Ness, I can go. But to have this level of speed tempo with his brain, his feet in his hands all in sync, I've never seen this before. Every time this guy steps on the ice, every time he gets a touch, something like that can happen. He's arguably the best athlete on the planet right now. He's so special to watch, and I'm fortunate tonight that we'll be calling his game on ESPN Plus, Dizzy Plus, and he will go across our networks over at the rock against the doubles. It's my man, Bob was shoes, and we'll be on the call. So it's going to be special. Can't wait to watch. And you say best athlete on Earth, I respect that. I'm going to have to see him throw a ball and catch a ball. But that is just coming from my brain. That is coming from my brain, not everybody's brain. I love watching me, David. I'm thankful for him. He's going to win Stanley Cup. All right, brother, it's crazy in all the sports. That's what it is though. All the quarterbacks of the NFL that haven't won. It's like, hey, have they won a Super Bowl? Have they won a Super Bowl? It's true. Conor McDavid, this guy is change hockey. Definitely is change hockey. He certainly has. He certainly has. Has it won a Stanley Cup? Has he? I don't want to hear. It's like that's driving him still, which I think we're all benefiting from. Can't wait to watch. It's driving him. Yeah, absolutely. We see. Thank you for everything, brother. Appreciate you, Patty Mac. Thanks for having me on. Hey, real quick. Films say, like, if I end up shooting on you, where am I trying to put that thing? What's the date and end? analytics say. - Data analytics say that you're trying to put it low blocker, but I'm gonna shade, I'll just like move over to the blocker to force you to shoot glove. And then it's just catching flies at that point. (laughing) - He's addressing everything. - Yeah, we do so. - They say low blocker's my problem, but against you, no problem. You see, all of a sudden we got blocker behind Pat. Yeah, there's nothing here, so I'll just catch you. - Jeez, there's different levels to this shit. - Mm-hmm. - And you're changing the glove in the West week, so. - Yeah, yeah. - Oh, yeah, back in the backhand. - Wow, I know that Toronto's glove. - I think my favorite thing about him, X-Player, who's in the Toronto glove, X-Player, who is now an insider. Like that doesn't really happen often. And I appreciate the way he got into the business, was literally just him doing selfies, outside of a pond, outside of his neighborhood going, "Breaking news with the wind." - Yep. - And it was actual gigantic news. The NHL doesn't have a lot of insider stuff. - No. - I think they need more of that. - Well, it's 'cause like you said, like how much do you need an insider when there's really not a bunch of player movement and stuff like that. But now when you got guys every week being like, "I don't want to play here anymore." Like it does kind of, "Hey, we do need insiders. "We need a couple more people "to kind of be tailing these stories here." - And just like, if you think about insiders, how much of his injuries? Like a lot of it. And when you ask a guy who's a hockey player like, "Hey, is he okay, is he hurt?" It's more like, "Shut up, he's not hurt." Some upper body, lower body, it's nothing. And then after the season you find out, broken chest bone or broken elbow, broken leg foot. It's, I mean, it's insane. That's why it feels like they don't need insiders to know. They're not going to tell them anything. - Yeah, it's a vault over there of information in the hockey culture, which is why it's so weird hearing them all want to, you know? - I know. - He said, "We're in the player empowerment era." I was like, "Whoa, hockey has fought that for a long, long time." So if that's getting in there, we get a little bit more insider news, get a little bit more drama. The hockey purist aren't going to like it at all. - Makes the league more exciting. - Through, as a daily sports talk show. - Yes. - We are selfishly saying, if there is a little bit more action or information coming out of these ballclubs or puckclubs, if there's just a little bit, like the upper body thing, we get it, but that could literally be a spine or an elbow and they won't tell you. Is it a bruise or a fracture? It can be something from chip nail on all their fingers to actual T2, T3, C4, F1, T. Hockey players give up zero information. So in some weeks, he gets a break, we absolutely love it. Let's go NBA, NHL, now to a sport that has a huge night ahead of it. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to feel the beat. (upbeat music) - That was something you could do. 'Cause it feels like you guys might speed the beat up a little bit. - Sometimes you have, but every time it's just my body to tell us over, we're getting better. - Yeah, exactly. - Let's go to college football insider, big 10 legend. Ladies and gentlemen, senior writer for ESPN, former, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, share. - Heather Denne. - Yeah. - How you doing, Heather? - I'm so agree, you guys. I'm jacked up for this first ranking. I love this stuff, this is, this is why we do what we do. And nobody knows what the hell is going to happen. - Okay, you need to know that, obviously, you do know that Dave taking their hats off, putting on the hat rack, they've gone in to go to work. This is the first time we are going to learn how this particular committee views things. Losses, wins, schedule, you name it. We're going to find out a lot tonight. But I need you to know, when we're on our game day call, about how the college football playoff rankings come out and then Reese talks to Hunter afterwards, there is an immediate response from four or five of us in there that go, can we get Heather in there just to come? Because you, you passionately speak for a lot of us whenever these rankings take place. Tonight, what are you looking for? What should we expect the reaction to potentially be? And like, how excited should we be for this first ranking, telling us what the future could look like? - Well, first of all, we should be most excited for this ranking since the first ranking, because this is going to be the most difficult one, the most unpredictable one. What I'm looking for is where's Ohio State? Let's start there, because this is one game of information that the selection committee had to watch the buck eyes without Julian saying in the lineup, right? And look, Luke Bay, he was okay. He was fine. The rest of the team, they had 11 penalties, one fumble, and the defense gave up a season high 30 points. So how does the committee weigh that overall performance against USC, with the fact that they went on the road, they beat the Hoosiers. They went on the road, they beat Iowa, which just smacked Wisconsin. So where's Ohio State? And that'll give us a clue, Pat, as to how much Martin for Air, the buck eyes have, down the stretch. And then the other big thing is BYU, Utah, Notre Dame. Do they honor that head-to-head BYU's win against Notre Dame? I'm telling you, I promise you, there will be people on that room who said BYU lost to UCF, that was a horrible loss, and it got worse on Friday night when Baylor hammered UCF. So do they honor that head-to-head and Notre Dame? How much margin for Air do they have if they lose to Miami? - Okay, so obviously all of those things, though, Ohio State, to big 10 conversations, big how many teams do they have in there? I think also notable this evening, what Miami, UCLA, and Utah are undefeated, right? How do they judge them? Haven't had a loss. So how do they stack up what wins mean more? 'Cause a lot of people look at UCLA's resume and say, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, what is that?" It's like, "Well, they've only beat who's on their schedule. What do you want them to do?" Which inevitably becomes dog chase tail-type combo, but I think we learn at least from the committee, how they view those types of things from those three teams, right, Heather? - Oh, for sure. And Utah, to me, of those three, is the most perplexing. I think the AP voters gave UCLA more credit than the selection committee will start there. But Utah, their strength of schedule pet is like 83rd in the country, which is one of the worst amongst any of the contenders. And so how do they weigh that? And what is the best win against Houston? So I have questions about Utah, good football team, for sure, but are they ahead of BYU and Notre Dame because of that strength of schedule? But I do expect UCLA to be lower than it is any AP people. Miami has 44th strength of schedule. UCLA has 79th, and then you mentioned there, Utah has 83rd. Once again, not any of these teams faults who's on their schedule this year, as they have this particular team. These games get scheduled in advance, use in advance. West Virginia actually just picked up Purdue. Okay, in the future, we're picking up big 10 games. Hey, we're trying to get big conferences come battle against us. - That's right, and Purdue dropped Notre Dame to go play West Virginia. But what bad I do. That's a bad idea. Now, it's talking about West Virginia. How many big 12 teams are in here? How many ACC teams are in it? Because his wake force is going to get the respect that it's going to get. It's like where are these numbers coming from? I think he's big for tonight. Tone has a question about that, especially whenever you bring up three letters, S-E-C. Go ahead, Tone. - Yeah, there obviously there's been a lot of talk about how many teams each is going to get. Obviously, when you look at the rankings, everything right now feels like SEC is going to get the most out of everyone. We thought, you know, preseason, big 10 could get four as well. Now, looks like, are they going to get two? What are your thoughts on where all that shakes out tonight? - Well, I think the SEC will wind up having the most teams in the playoffs tonight and ultimately. And I think the big 10 with Oregon just laying an egg this year, I think that changes the narrative a little bit in that conference as well. But to me, with the S-E-C going to nine league games this year, everyone in that conference, coaches, commissioner Greg Sankey, knew you're going to see more two and three loss SEC teams. Now, I want to remind people, there's only been two, three lost teams in the college football playoff. Last year, Alabama got in as SEC runner up, Clemson got in with three losses by winning the ACC. This year, I think there's a better chance than ever to see a three lost SEC team in the college football playoff that doesn't play in the conference championship game because these schedules are tough. And I go back to the two lost Notre Dame. If Notre Dame doesn't beat Miami, you mean to tell me that there's not a two lost SEC team sitting out there that has better wins than North Carolina, Wisconsin, and an SMU team, that just lost, so that's why I think that could be tricky for the Irish because there's a lot of two lost SEC teams that are in the mix. - Can't wait for the chaos to begin this evening is we get very pissed off at a group of people in a room making some decisions that are going to alter all of our lives though, not just the schools that are participating, but all of us. College football playoffs are awesome. We get so excited for the big games. The first round has been bit of a blowout and then the buys for the champions has not really been a benefit. So it's going to 24 next year, last year or 12 teams. We just want them to get it right, and we hope the teams it deserve to be in there, get in, game, game. - I'm excited to see if they put Notre Dame in the top 12 tonight. - Well, what do they got to be? They got to be in the top 12 tonight. - They have the lowest strength of schedule as far as teams that have a loss, put it that way. So we'll see. - Big one this weekend. - Yeah, but they got a guy, CJ cars again. - Yeah, do they do it like that or do they do what they accomplish on the field? - Well, there's going to be, how many people in there? 12, 12 of them? - 13, 13 people. - 13. A. D. She'd also recuse himself, I don't see any of you. he will be rickus. He steps out of the room. - Yeah, good. Why is he on the committee then? - Because he's good at what he does. - Out of the guy. - I see Appalachian. State, I see, you know, Mark Dantonio. Like that makes sense. We don't need people just, you know, staying in on their soapbox for their schools in here. Unless, you know, Beth Gatz wants to get in there then I would be perfectly fine with that. - Yeah, okay, I would. It's okay. And that's how a college football is though. You know, if it benefits you, you certainly have to. - Yeah, if it does it, you are certainly pissed. That's why the sport is the number two sport in the United States of America. Heather, we can't wait to watch the chaos tonight. We can't wait to hear from you. You're the best. Thank you for joining us. - Thank you guys so much. Have fun tonight. - Ladies and gentlemen, it's Heather. You too. That's Heather Dene. - Yeah, hello. - Joining us now, a man who does this every single week, not just projecting ahead to his interview that he has tonight. Hey, all eyes are on this man. - Big one. - And certainly are ears. As he gets a chance to chit chat with the spokesperson of the CFP committee on why they did what they did. Now, in the past, they've very rarely given him any information. But he certainly has all the right questions. And he certainly knows all the pieces from this past weekend. Ladies and gentlemen, it's Reece David. - Yeah, Reece, go. - Reece, thank you for joining us. Obviously, Heather Dene just chit chatted about her excitement for this evening. You, I assume as well. This is a sport that you actually eat, sleep, and breathe. And tonight, we learn a lot of things. Reece, can you tell me about your mindset going into tonight and what you're expecting to see or not expecting to see? - Heather touched on several of the things. The one thing I want to see is, are they honoring the head to head between BYU and Notre Dame? How will they sort out right now? All of the two lost teams in the SEC. And they'll go to great lengths to tell you, we don't consider their conference affiliation. We're looking at the teams individually. But there are a lot of teams in the SEC with two losses. How are they sorted out right now? And might that be instructive for looking at how it might sort out if there are two and three lost teams on selection day? I'm looking at that. And also, what do they think of Utah UCLA? And even Kentucky, Kentucky's a one lost team. They win by getting a bunch of turnovers. They won close games. Are they honoring that? Their strength of record is tremendous. Their strength of schedule is strong. But are the eyes in the room, the so-called football judgment? How has that been impacted by those people who are watching the tape? And you've got four former Division One coaches and two college and NFL players in the room. So almost half of the committee would be viewed as people who completely understand what they're seeing when they watch teams play. Here's the committee. Here 100-year check is the chair. He'll be the one speaking with Reese Davis afterwards, immediately after the rankings are unveiled. Gus Malzone, Chris Misar, Randall McDaniel, Troy Dany, Mark Dany and Tonya, Mike Riley. Jeff Ted for Doug Gillan, Mark Harlan, Wesley Walls, Ivan Meisel, OK, and Carla Williams. Good luck in there. Good luck. Randall McDaniel. Yeah, good luck in there. Whenever we see him put their hats on the rack, we know they're going to work. And we appreciate this was last night. So they already have it done. When do you get eyes on this thing, Reese, as you guys unveil it on ESPN tonight? Well, you love breaking news. And I'm going to break a little bit to you here. For the entire history of the college football playoff, I've never seen the rankings one time before they go to air. We're still going to keep that the same way for the guys who join me, Joey Galloway, Booger McFarland, and Greg McElroy. But I'm going to take a peek in advance. It's going to help our production guys in terms of questions we want to ask different things. When we get those, that's varied. Sometimes by the time I get to the studio, the graphics people have them and they're building them. Sometimes it's been within an hour before the show. There have been times on selection day when we've started the show. And we didn't have the rankings. And they would come and they were still working on them. So it varies. I anticipate that they don't have their work done earlier with it being week one. Because they've got a lot of opportunities to change their minds, Pat. So I anticipate that they'll be done fairly early today. Hey, Reese, need you to fill for a while. How long? Who knows? Is the rankings revealed they have not given us the rankings? They won't put out what they think the tournament will look like. They'll just give us the rankings, right? And then we will have to piece together. Well, this is the highest ranked big 10 team. So they obviously think that they're going to win the big 10. So we'll give them the buy. We'll rank them at this. We kind of do that. They always say that's not what we're doing. We're not telling you who we think is winning the championship. We are just ranking them right now for how they stand. But we can learn about how they'll do their ranking through this one. We're excited for that. Where we looked at tonight, let's go back to this past weekend. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for Reese's pieces from this weekend. Happy Halloween. Reese's pieces. We're in a big way. What did you see this past weekend at a college football that really stuck out to you, Reese Davis? I think what you said in our game day meeting earlier this week, is there anybody great? Not right now. But I do think that Miami could be great. I didn't have a huge alarm being raised by their game at North Carolina. Now, defense wasn't great. They've made Billy Edwards and before that, Ashton Daniels, you know, look like Heisman Trophy, Canada quarterbacks. That's not optimal for Miami. But I think they're so powerful on offense and they have so much upside on defense that they'll get better. I think Miami is positioned to potentially be great. I think the same thing about Notre Dame in Georgia, two championship quality teams in my judgment that did what you would expect them to do. Georgia bounced back from an embarrassing loss and did so with violence. You know, they kind of, no pun intended, but they called off the dogs against Florida. That could have been a lot worse. And I think that Georgia responded to a very uncharacteristic and poor performance and a really good way. And I also think that Notre Dame never panicked against Navy. Now, Navy's overmatched. Navy was controlling the ball on them. So it's like, is this going to happen the week before the Miami game and then they just sort of continue to squeeze the news and finally put Navy away and put themselves in position? I think those three teams could be great. But I completely agree with everybody that's saying, if Notre Dame doesn't win Saturday night, Notre Dame is in the same place it was last year. Really good team. We watch them and say, that's a good football team. What did you do? You know, and that's a big, that's why I think that what stands between Notre Dame and Greatness is Saturday night. They need to win the game. I'm not saying they can't make the playoff if they don't, but they need to win the game. Number one, verse number four in the AP poll Reese is an AP voter for college football will unveil his top 25 here in a matter of moments. This is special one though. I love where we're at right now with what college football Saturday is come. I mean, there's there's impactful games. Good weekend. Yeah, it's almost like every weekend going forward feels like, hey, college football is about to deliver. In every game that college football has in its history is impactful for the playoffs, which is why everybody's so scared to death about the 2014 playoff kind of losing that particular type of luster. Right now it's real, especially with what we find out tonight. One verse four in South Bend, lucky to be there can't wait to get back on campus. I like to Reese Davis, who's one of Notre Dame's biggest since the beginning of this season, says he likes where this team's at, has them to win a national championship is, you know, speaking about reality, they lose the Miami. Last year it was the entire convoy in all Notre Dame fans got really pissed off because they were drumming people down the stretch. They certainly got much better football, but you don't beat Miami. They're just going to get held against them. It's going to get held against Notre Dame and the rules for Notre Dame is they just have to be in the top 12 at the end and they get it automatic bit or whatever the case because they're independent. And it's different this year because that lost to Miami last year was at the beginning of the season. And then they went on their run and they were killing people. So it was like, all this team is hot coming in. It's a lot later in the season. The runways a lot shorter towards the playoffs. If they don't win on Saturday, they are in big, big trouble. Okay. So let's talk about teams that we maybe overlooked or thought were Dunzo Reese. I see that as a takeaway in a text from you. What does that mean in your eyes? There are teams. I mean, I probably needed type rope surgery on both ankles and blew out both these ACLs hopping off the USC bandwagon, that was a constant game and then they turn around and take it to Ohio State. And I agree with what Heather said. Luke Faye played fine. I mean, there were probably moments in the red zone where Julian say it might have helped them more. But SC looked legit. SC looked like what I thought they were going to look like. Now they have big games coming up, big opportunities. But it's right there in front of them. If they perform, they can win their way into the playoffs. I think so. They're not dead. I'll tell you who else is not dead. USC, the other USC, South Carolina is not dead. They might sort of fall into that category of team that gets hot at the end. And then you figure out, what do we do with these early season losses? A couple of them bad losses, or at least in terms of margin, got blown out by Alabama lost late to Mississippi State lost in overtime to Kentucky. But if they finish nine and three and they have a game against Georgia coming up, how do you evaluate South Carolina? And one that we thought for sure was cooked, and you're going to have to stay with me a little bit on this one. Oregon, not dead yet. What? Now, great win against Northwestern, but listen to this, Pat. There's a path. It's not a wide path. It's not an easy one. But if they went out, it's not really crazy that they could get into the big 10 championship game. You get into the big 10 championship game, then they could win the conference. Really what they need is for UCLA to keep winning. And then Oregon has a lot of advantages and potential tiebreakers should the ducks be be able to win out. I don't favor them to do it because they've been the epitome of inconsistency, but in this season, they got that win against Northwestern Saturday and all of a sudden you look up and you go, really all they need is an Indiana and Illinois loss and they're in really good shape if they can win out, but of course, they've got to go to Ohio State Saturday. So this could be one of those things that you say now because it's not going to matter pretty soon. But Ohio State, obviously a difficult one November 7th in the shoe, then Michigan, Michigan State and then Washington down the stretch. If Oregon can stack some wins and be perceived hot and then win also the Big Ten Championship if UCLA wins out and continues to do what they do, Oregon's into dance, Dan Laning who's considered hot and saying, hey, this guy can't do it anymore. He's going to be able to hire coordinators if he's going to continue to have success. New OC, they have success. The Oregon Ducks making the 12 team playoff would be an absurd conversation down the stretch. Why not? And this goes back to the 2014 playoff now, you know, like you can have the early terrible figure it out, get hot down the stretch, get into the 2014 playoff. So maybe the 2014 playoff will provide a little bit of a softer landing spot for the teams that figure it out down that like who's hot late. But now for 12 teams, you're going to have to really figure that out because where are these seeds coming from? How many Big Ten teams are going to get into the college football playoff this year? That's a real question that hasn't been in the past. I mean, it's crazy. And yes, you saw the path. It could happen. But I have a hard time believing the team that just lost to Illinois two weeks ago is going to be that consistent and do it as we said, but they, you know, they did make the OC change after that Illinois lost and so maybe it looked like on Saturday. They decided like, hey, we're going to do what works on offense. We're just going to keep doing it over and over, which they haven't been doing all season long. So yeah, we'll see. We'll see what the ducks can do. I'm not a huge believer right now, but we will see. Top of LSU, LSU, and you talk about LSU, you know, they have been lurking and levitt and Lane have been maybe figuring it out a little bit and now you got Bama and you got an opportunity to show to the world that you're still the team that we thought you were going to be coming into the season. They're very much alive. LSU is still very much alive in this thing, Reese. And they might be the most dangerous team if they were to get in offensively and defensively tone in your power rankings. I mean, you haven't seen them potentially. You're right. Yeah, I do power rankings with the help of AI every single week, statistical based and yeah, LSU has moved up to my number one stat team in the country. They're one of the two teams that are top five in both offense and defense. And then you get Bama, Texas has got to come to town and then you got to go on the road to Tennessee. But if you, I mean, that's a tough schedule, but, you know, two of those games being in death Valley. I can see him doing it. James still alive, Reese and maybe LSU and Lane Kiffin are who we thought they were coming into the year when the hype train was him leaving Oxford. Now it's like, wait a second. Is this LSU team going to get hot at the right time and maybe make a run at this Reese? I think they can. I think tone was a seeing into the future when he had Lane in the shades and the drop top in the background of the poll last week. That's a, this is a very talented team with different makers in the right spots. Got a great pass rush. If they can keep lev it from turning the football over, they are, you know, they're really tough to beat. I was digging through some stuff. I know Lane's upset that he's not playing at night against Alabama this week. This will endure Lane Kiffin to LSU people more than anything else. In the last 55 years, Alabama has shut out LSU in Baton Rouge. More often than it has lost in Baton Rouge. Alabama is like 22, 5 and 1 over the last 55 years in Baton Rouge. If Lane could go in, make a statement for their playoff case and just, you know, drill Alabama Saturday afternoon. I mean, now Governor Jeff Landry might have some competition in terms of who's going to run that state. Yeah. Lane, I think hard. Yeah. Was given that power when he signed a deal down there. Even though Governor Jeff Landry didn't necessarily love these college football deals before. You know, he gets Lane Kiffin in there. He was saying there's a chance for first time long time that these LSU Tigers are going to be saying, "Hey, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh." To Alabama at home, crazy because it helped big of a home field advantage. We perceive Baton Rouge to be down there. Maybe Keel and Russell is the guy who can continue that. Or Lane Kiffin squad fresh off a by-week plays their best game that they've played. Now Reese, every week you've been doing this this year for us and we're very grateful for it. I think the AP Top 25 every single week, but we don't get a chance to really see how the voters got to where they are. Reese Davis has been very transparent. Ladies and gentlemen, here's Reese Davis most recent AP Top 25 way to go, Reese, oh, who's going to be mad at you? Who have you been taking the most shit from in this particular ranking? I think Utah people think that I'm not valuing them enough and I'm valuing BYU too much. I don't love the fact that I've got BYU at number two, guys. I'm still honoring the win over Notre Dame because it didn't happen at the end of August, didn't happen the first week and happened like, you know, two weeks ago or three weeks ago now. I don't feel great about that. And I feel like one game after a by-week for Georgia was a little too quick to move them all the way up to number two. I suspect that Miami Notre Dame Georgia are the best teams right now. I'm honoring Indiana winning. They don't look like the number five team in the country to me right now, especially on offense. And I think probably, you know, UCLA can tuck you. I'm still a little skeptical about. And you know, other than that, I don't know who else would be really upset with me. I tried to make amends with Ty by getting after that great performance from Iowa, getting Iowa back into the top 20 up there. Well done, Reese. Amends me. Amends made, you know, every school could potentially have you as an enemy with the ranking year. I mean, that is not a fun thing to do. We appreciate you letting us look at meat meat down there, huh? They're kind of sneaky. Yeah. South Carolina down there, 25 poking their head into the top 25 and Reese mentioned them earlier. Lenora Sellers looks very good at football. He's playing the best football we've seen him in years. And he's supposed to be a guy last year. He's supposed to be a guy before that. Now he's playing his best ball and with the SEC being wide open with the amount of talent they have. Shane Beamer was getting boot off his field multiple times this season. They might find themselves dancing. That's Reese's AP top 25 and now son followed up. Reese goes into the weeds. He's got the meat, meats down there, 24. We have a poor ourselves around here. It's not an elite one. Nope. I mean, how could we? No. No way. No. Elite poles around here. The Reese's poles are the lead. - Yeah, that's right. - Reese got an Elite pole. You know that. - Yeah, that is an Elite pole. 25 deep on that thing. - Boom, boom, boom, boom. That is the Hulkster. - Yeah. Two feet, two inches pole. - Yeah. - Now I guess that would be two feet, one inch right here. Joining us now, he's an above average pole from AP Tone. Tone, what is your above average pole say today? - Hey, my way. - Hey, my way. - Why was that gump in the pole? - Yeah, we've got gump to the back. It's good to be there, it's good to be with the top. You know, in a year where if you just don't stub your toe, and you're going to be the number one team in the country, that's what Miami's done. You know, Reese talked about he's not going to ding him for the UNC result last week, neither did I, especially in a look ahead spot to Notre Dame. I thought just getting a win there on the road was a good spot. Then I had to honor the undefeated Bruins in that situation, my Bob Chesney's done. I respect the hell out of what they're doing. And then I just wanted to, a little nod to Wake Forest, who is basically covering by 20 points every single week. They're putting 50 up on the board every single week. They only have the one loss to Miami, which they made at a very, very close game in that one in the second half. Miami was concerned in that one. I just wanted to give, you know, Geo Lopez in Wake Forest a little nod. I'm very excited to see where they're at tonight. And could be a second ACC team that can score a ton of points, and could cause some problems in the playoffs. - Yeah, I thought maybe you'd put a dumpy in a chair back there. You know, as you're kind of looking on it to your Bob out of this pole. - I never, that guy sits down. I mean sitting down right now, but you're right. There's a lot of pacing, there's a lot of movement. How do you feel about sitting at top Reese's Elite pole and tones above average pole gumpee down there with the canes? - It's good spark to be here. I'm happy with it. Well done, Lads, thank you. - You nailed it. You nailed it today, both do. It's great to see. - That's nice to hear gumpee happy, because that's very rare. You know, he'll start chopping people down if they had said anything negative about the canes in the last five years. - Yeah. - I've been watching it over the last couple weeks. Miami might be the team. We're excited to see how the college football play off rankings roll out tonight. That was tones above average pole. We have Reese's Elite pole and Reese's pieces from the weekend. We appreciate the hell out of you, Reese. - Likewise, fellas, thanks for having me. We'll talk to you soon. - See you in South Bend. - See you, man. See you in South Bend. - That should be great, Lads. Reese, David. - There he is, sir. - Notre Dame, always a great scene for game day. - Oh yeah, those are all. - Very, very thankful that we're heading up to South Bend, Indiana. It could have been in a lot of places. I mean, this weekend's real deal. 10 a.m. local here, a lot of talk about that. That is crazy, but they'll be up for it. - Oh yeah. - You'll see why you. And then there's huge games across the board with every single win or loss potentially putting somebody out of the playoff, which is just about a month and a half out, right? - Yeah, pretty close. - Yeah. - We're almost there. Hey, it's happening. We're in this thing. - We're in. - It's November 3rd already. - Lastly, here's the board. - Hey, let's go boys. - Yeah, why? - We're almost doing it. Tonight's a huge night. Next hour, we have Ian Rappaport breaking down, maybe tread deadlines or stories out of last night. Be a friend, tell a friend something nice in my change or life. We'll see you on the other side. [MUSIC] >> Is the greatest we can thank the Chicago Bears enough for sending a first round pick this year, first round pick next year, and a fourth round pick to the Tennessee Titans for Jeffrey Simmons. Because last night watching that Chicago Bears team, it's the first time I think any of us thought to ourselves, that might be the best football team in the world right now. That might be what great looks like in this particular NFL season. Now, the run games Swift had three touchdowns, but they didn't even really get the run game going. Caleb Williams was able to cook. Jeffrey Simmons was disrupting every single play for Sam Darnell to the Seattle Seahawks Grace. He was left guard for the Seattle Seahawks, moves back to right guard like you played in college as they have Quentin Nelson come. Jeffrey Simmons targeted him. They tried to double him. They tried to triple him. The rest of the Chicago Bears defense feasted. So it was a night to celebrate the Chicago Bears and Ryan Poles move to bring that man, that game record to the midway. Now, are the Chicago Bears going to win the Super Bowl? Sure looked like it last night. There were some thoughts that maybe the Seattle Seahawks would be able to, you know, stifle Ben Johnson's offense because Mike McDonald's an absolute stud. We still believe in Seattle. I think what we saw last night was the emergence of what the Chicago Bears team is about to be for the foreseeable future. Jeffrey Simmons can play another four or five years at this level. Oh, yeah. Yeah. The Williams can play another 15 years at this level. Ben Johnson, he can coach for another what 30 years if you wanted to. This Chicago Bears team seemingly not going anywhere and only got better just last week is that the final mover was Ryan Poles working the phone last night to maybe get the team even better. The top step was here at Boston Conor and at Ty Schmidt, con man, New England Patriots, you guys get Drake Meg. Immediately said, yes, we have a guy. Frable comes in, he's the perfect head coach for Drake Meg, you say, yes, we have a team for the foreseeable future. You can see the fundamentals. You can see the base of what you're going to be. Chicago Bears fans witnessing the same thing and then also add another all pro on the defense aside that is an energizer giver to everybody he's around. That's special time to be a fan whenever you figure that out. And I think Bears fans know that immediately upon watching last night. Yeah, I believe especially when you look at the young core they have, you know, Luther Burden, Roman Dunes, a Colson, Lovlin, Caleb Williams, all under 25. You know, I think polls and probably Ben Johnson know, hey, at some point, you got to pay the paper. We might not be able to do all of them, you know, and some of these guys might get let go. So we might as well go after it right now, go make a move for Simmons. You know, you don't really need those first round picks when you have so much talent and they've been able to use their second, third, fourth round picks to kind of go and get guys that are very important to their team. And, you know, just like the Patriots, the Bears go out and they make those big acquisitions right away. They went and got Joe to any for, you know, Caleb Williams to show up that offensive line for Vrable. It was very similar on defense. They go and they pay Milton Williams above average in free agency their first off season. Look what that did for the defensive line and then this off season. They go and they trade for AJ Brown. They sign Romeo Dobbs to a $60 million contract. Like when you have that young QB on your team and you have that young core in very important positions, you know, Gonzo who had to get paid this year. We'll Campbell out left tackle those spots when you have to pay guys a bunch of money. That is when you go and make moves for guys like Jeffrey Simmons. So it is awesome and they are the most complete team. I think they're the most complete team in the entire NFL. The only other team that people are comparing him to are the Buffalo bills, but there's that clear and problem on defense in Buffalo that you kind of look at it as that might kind of bite him in the ass. The Chicago Bears are unbelievable right now. Special teams very good as well yesterday. They were plus 1200 to win the Super Bowl at draft games today. We wake up plus 9.50, huge sports books go, uh, we might get really, really heavy on the Chicago Bears right now. I think everybody's feeling how we're feeling about that bear steam, joining us now is a man who is a former college football national champion, Super Bowl champion, Ryder Cup winner and the man who loves defensive football. NFC North King, all time leading tackler for the Green Bay Packers. Ladies and gentlemen, AJ Hawk. Hawko Jeffrey Simmons dropped right into a pick up right into the middle of a Ben Johnson culture. Yeah, go ahead. I mean, yeah, pretty good pick up. I'd say from literally first snap, yeah, from the first snap. I mean, you can show like just the dominance that he has and that's the thing like I guess good for him that he's going to get to play for a team that gets more prime time games that we're going to get to see playoff games. I think Jeffrey Simmons, the last playoff game he played in was 2021 against the Bengals. He had three sacks in that game, so people just don't get this, don't get to see him play enough. I feel like he's been dominant in Tennessee for eight years now. So now we're going to get to see it like prime time more often. I think he, you know, he brings the level of everybody on that defense up and the whole team it seems like. So what a way to, what a debut, I guess, for the team that trades for you, man, it has to feel good for him. Yeah, he brings the juice too, you know, Max Crosby is known for that because Max Crosby has made a career off of outworking everybody. Jeffrey Simmons is the same damn way, and it's been for a team that he's never wins. I mean, now when Vrable is there, Vrable did get them to the number one seed in the AFC. They did play in a playoff. They did have 11 sacks. I do believe against Joe Burl in that particular game, but they lose. That's a first round exit as the number one seed. And then you're not going to see that again down there in Tennessee as they move on. I still appreciate the fact that we asked Mike Vrable when we were golfing with him. If he thought he could beat up everybody on the Tennessee Titans, you know, we're just talking to him. You're like, Vrable, you're so tough, dude, you know, like you think you could beat up everybody on the Titans? He's everybody but Jeffrey Simmons. That is what everybody but I thought of that last night from the jump from the early in this game, I kept. Vrable was not lying, obviously. Yeah, pretty spot on. And for Vrable to allow another human have that type of ownership over him, I think you have to respect that, you know, Vrable says Vrable is the guy I think who would n'aw and a kill he's off if he had to survive. I think if you did drop him into a pit and it was either him or seven other people, he's probably going to figure out a way to be the last person standing. He is the epitome of an Ohio guy that he had as the case. So for him to openly admit to us, especially in front of AJ, another Ohio guy, I mean, me, I got a microphone in front of me. So for him to admit that publicly, we all said, wow, Jeffrey Simmons must be the real doing it. Absolutely. I would never get on his bad side. And Jeffrey Simmons didn't want to leave Nashville. He had connections and friends and he was like the pillar of the city down there. So him getting traded whenever Morganzi told him, he said it was an emotional time for both of them. His family has to figure it out now as he picks up and moves to the city of Chicago and not that the city of Chicago wants to carry them and there were an amazing things. But whenever you have a home and a family and a route somewhere, that's the human side of it. Jeffrey Simmons then gets put on to prime time TV and all of a sudden he's one of the new kings of third largest city in America. From to Chicago, welcome to a brand new NFL with the Bears being maybe the team joining us now. Junior NFL insider for ESPN and NFL Network, friend of the program, normally joins us on Fridays for the weekly wrap up with rap sheet and friends. But there's a lot cooking right now. We need him. Ladies and gentlemen, he and rapper boy. Yeah. He's sick. Cool jacket. You're doing. Listen to me. Listen. Listen. Here's what's happening here. So I'm wearing the leather. That's true. You know, it was also going to be in studio. Oh, the fonts on my leather for the fans Henry Winkler. Hey, were you guys doing that for the last few weeks to entice the fans to come like, hey, we're wearing leather jackets with cool shirts underneath talking sports on ESPN. We'd love for you to come on by. It worked. Great work. We brought it. We brought a jukebox in too so we can just kind of hit it here. You smoking sigs out there? Well, I think that back in that time, jacket, sigs, I think you roll them up in sleeves. You need a little hammer. Can you do that anymore? Oh, they do. The fans does. Yeah. The fans definitely come back because of AI. Oh. All right. Rap font. Handsome right now. Yes, it certainly is. As are you. We appreciate you, especially middle of the season, middle of trade deadline. Jeffrey Simmons, obviously a smashing success. We assume DeForest Buckner, back with the Niners, will be a smashing success for them. What are some other moves that we maybe need to keep an eye out here over the next couple of days, or day, if you will. How hot is the block right now in the trade streets? Okay. Well, first of all, the Jeffrey Simmons thing, I was laughing about during the broadcast last night because they're like, you know, the Titans didn't get enough. I'm like, do you know how much two first rounders and more is like, this is as much as anyone gets traded forever and less. Maybe you are a quarterback or a number one traffic. Like, they paid a lot, but I think it's fair to say they did not overpay because Simmons is awesome. And I'm happy for the entire country because they get to see this guy. And as you guys mentioned, probably going to get to see him a lot. There are some other names buzzing. I mean, Jonathan Taylor is definitely the busiest. And that list right there is, you know, that's probably as big a name list as we almost ever have during the trade deadline. I mean, Taylor is the big one because we've all been discussing and you have like the giants, the Vikings, the Broncos, you know, maybe the Packers, you have several teams interested. I'll tell you the weird thing though, is, so the coach traded a couple guys for mid-round picks, right? And then you have the blockbuster on Simmons. And those races are so separate from each, like the Colts all the way at one end, a different situation, Buckner's 32 and all that. >> Not a different situation. He has more sacks per game. Jeffrey Simmons is game record. I have a lot of respect for Jeffrey Simmons. The first buckner might be first-bound Hall of Famer. They win a Super Bowl. He's going to be in the Hall of Fame. Not that Jeffrey Simmons is not. >> But, Clen Nelson too. But yeah. >> Yeah, right. >> Yeah. >> So, my point is like, it's hard. I think the compensation has been so hard to come up with that it feels to me like the trade market is at a standstill. That's what it feels like right now. >> Because the Colts got fleece, they think. >> Well, I don't know if the Colts got fleeced, I would never say that. But I think if you're the Colts right now and you have Josh Downs and you have Jonathan Taylor, now it's like you've seen will trade. People think we're having a fire sale, we're not going to give them away. We are going to hold a tough high price for them and let's see if anyone comes and gets it. And I think teams have sort of been like, okay, we'll see. And so that's why I feel like, it's like the middle school dances that I know you guys all dominated. We're like, the boys are on one side and the girls are on the other side. And maybe there's a couple of people talking in the middle, but mostly you're just talking to your friends. That's what it feels like. >> Okay, well, you got to get out there and dance for and move a little bit, kind of mix it up. I think the dance floor and move in a little bit, it has been I think reported that there's been a couple offers for Jonathan Taylor, but the Colts are asking for too much, what does that mean? That's other teams publicly trying to negotiate and then Carly and the Colts have been saying, we're not trading Jonathan Taylor, like who's putting that information out? And is that real? How many teams have offered? And do we know anything about what they have offered for Jonathan Taylor? Because maybe it's a bundle package with Josh Downs next to it and Jonathan Taylor has long term deal, Josh Downs, you have to figure out. I mean, those are our two best offensive weapons at this point and just kind of, I guess take them all if you have, but we're going to need a one at some point if that has not been talked about. What is the offer for Jonathan Taylor at this point that you know of that has been presented? >> So I believe that it's a two and more is on the table for Jonathan Taylor. And so it's like, you're right, I mean, you'd like a one. I don't know that that's realistic, but if you look at the Christian McAfee. >> What do we mean? It's not realistic. How is it not realistic and we are in the rushing, we are in the running back error right now. >> That is true. >> We are in the running back. >> God, it just doesn't care. He just rolls the dice like an actual die. If it lands on like a three, he's like, okay, third round pick, I guess that's who it is. >> No, that is not the case. They're in these negotiations. >> He's not the case. >> I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't think we can rule that out. And in this situation, he's rolling two dice. One of them lands on a two. Okay, I need a second. There are dice lands on like a three and that's where the- >> I mean, we're with state guys. We're wishing for it. >> Exactly. But they're not happening. That's where I polls is like, you need a fifth? Okay, fine. >> Do you think that was potentially- >> Well, and- >> That's entailer. >> You never know. >> Well, I would say this, like the deadline has not happened yet. And so I don't like to judge these things, like, there is, look, if they, if by the time we get to next Tuesday and they do get the Christian McAfee package, which was a two or three or four and something else, like, then it's like, okay, they've done well. Now McAfrie and John the Taylor are similar age and production, but different type players, McAfrie more in the, in the past game, it's just, they're different players. But the value, you sort of think should be somewhat similar, so I don't blame Dodd for- >> But inflation. >> I mean, there's inflation, too. We're talking about where the running backs were whenever Christian McAfrie got traded. Not the cow shane hand has never not used running backs. >> But we're in a pound the rock era right now. We're literally out rough teams, you're winning games. And Jonathan Taylor has been doing this past weekend, Jackson will then do great, but I'm happy he stayed healthy, okay, I'm happy he stayed healthy. But Jonathan Taylor on the football field is going to score a touchdown, go ahead. >> Well, that would be the other thing, rap sheet, like, is it assumed that both of those guys will be dealt this week, then, because even though the deadline's Tuesday, you don't want to throw these guys out there Sunday and have them potentially get hurt, and then you're kind of shit out of luck and you can't trade them. >> Right, I mean, this is what I was kind of, I don't know, the term is worried about, but what I was thinking about a lot this week, and it's like they went out and played, and I sort of thought, Jonathan Taylor would have maybe limited snaps, now, he didn't have a ton of carries, but I don't think, but that was more score-based. I don't think it snaps or limited at all, and I'm sort of like, God forbid, something happens. >> Yeah. >> It's a risk. It's always a risk, but that was definitely something I was watching. I mean, I think if you're the Colts, you'd like to trade them, soon, me really, you'd like to trade them today or tomorrow, but if you don't get the right price, then is it worth the risk? I mean, these are all very, very interesting questions that Ed Dodds and others are weighing now. >> The Packers have a two, a three, a four, what are the Packers have right now? I know they don't have a one because of Michael Parsons. >> Yeah, they're a bit depleted. I think I want to say they have like a two, a three, and a five, maybe. >> I know, the Packers seem like a potential course. >> But I don't know what they have next year either. They could always, I mean. >> Because he went to school in Wisconsin, obviously. He is a phenomenal running back, what you guys need right now with everything that's happening in Green Bay. >> Yeah. >> And it's like you have a chance in an NFC North to go on a run, but you're going to have to with how good the NFC North is as a whole. >> And they did try to trade for him, you know, it was a room or like before last season that. >> Yeah, I think that was true. >> That they have already tried to get Jonathan Taylor? >> No, no, that they did last time. >> Yeah, that's what I mean, though, like the Packers have already tried to get Jonathan Taylor together. >> Yeah, I see him. >> Yes. >> Yeah, so I mean, in policies, policy is to try to get players to make the team good much more than they were in the past for the Packers. I guess we'll keep an eye out. Hey, Rapshee, do you mind if we do a new segment with you? >> Great. >> Let's do it, I love you. >> Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for Rapid Fire with Rapshee. >> Yeah. >> That's pretty good. >> That's really good. >> Yeah, that's really good. >> There's a silencer on that one. >> Yeah, I might try to put that up for actually. >> It's a sound Emmy. >> I got you. >> I think you're going to have to go against some NFL films type movies, but the fact you're able to do that is my sleep right there. Okay, we'll be rapid firing questions at you, Rapshee. Party is rapid fire with Rapshee. Let's start. Daniel Jones, still the starter, Lou Anorumo, still calling place. What the hell's going on with the Indianapolis Colts? If we're quitting, are we quitting? How are we quitting? And we still have nine games left after losing by 35 to the Jacksville Jaguars, Rapshee. >> Jones still the starter unless it gets to a point where the team is, it's over, it's over, and then you start to look at the future. I don't know why Lou Anorumo wouldn't call plays. I mean, I think the overall effort from everyone was bad, so it's like the offense was bad, the defense was bad. It was all bad, so I don't know why, like Lou Anorumo is pretty good and well respected, and if you're going to give up, just totally tear it down, you could do it, but it is absolutely miserable, fans stop showing up, and it's terrible, and teams hate to do that. >> We just got sent our order sheet for the suite this weekend to put some food in, which is obviously on top of what you pay for. >> Is it free now? >> Nope. >> No, it is not, but it does look like it's got a good weekend special. >> What do we got going on? Sliders? >> Some sushi. >> Yeah, there's some sushi and Indy. >> You guys are still going on a game? >> Huh? >> You guys are still going to the Colts games? >> I am a paying season ticket holder to the franchise. >> Yeah, but Dunjee already pays, like, it does not. >> That's what we're rapping for, and let's continue to fire, go ahead, Ty. >> Yeah, Rapshee, you reported that Michael Parsons is back at practice this week and that the Packers were tentatively kind of eyeing maybe the Thanksgiving week game against the Rams. Any news on that? Is there any chance he comes back earlier? Is it pretty much a, we're going to have him practice. Hopefully nothing goes wrong, and then that Rams game will be when he debuts. >> Yeah, it seems like that's the way it's going to go. So it's going to be individual work this week, team work next week, and then they have like the strange buy before the Wednesday game, which is just like a really weird scheduling thing. And then they have the Wednesday game. So I would imagine like he's going to take it right up until playing that Wednesday game against the Rams, nationally televised, I think it's a Netflix game. It's a big one, and it will be, by that point, it will be as slow and conservative as you could possibly imagine. And Micah is fully on board with this and ready to roll. >> Okay, so week six was when we thought maybe Micah was going to come back. That was just all conjecture outside party's thinking that maybe that would be the case? >> No, he said it. He hoped it in, I think June, and then when you got closer, it was kind of like, maybe this medical staff's not going to let me do that. >> Okay, and the Green Bay Packer is super conservative. We know that team winning, but NFC North getting very close, very quick. Michael would be quite an addition to that team. Whenever he was playing last year, they were very good. Whenever he wasn't playing, they weren't very good. Now still very good. Add Micah, here we go. We got Super Bowl dreams even though you just watched the Chicago Bears last night. Let's talk a little bit more, rapid fire with Rapsheet. AJ has a question for you. >> Yeah, Rapsheet, obviously, Miles Garrett and Terrance Ferguson, both they're practicing for the Rams this week. What's the timeline look like for them getting back in the field, and also as Matthew Stafford going to be all right, reports of him walking out with some ice on his arm. >> So on that report, I haven't heard anything to have me believe that Stafford won't be ready. So I would say, for that one, I would expect him to be good to go, unless there's other information that I don't know which does happen. Miles Garrett is an interesting one. I thought he was coming back last week. Just didn't get to a point where he could feel comfortable enough on the knees so it was like, all right, don't rush it, stretch run, be ready this week. What I don't know, I was told when he gets on the field for practice that it should all happen very quick. So I think this week is in play, but we need to see how he actually responds, right? I think it's finally after like two months in a pretty good place. >> Okay, we like to hear that because Miles Garrett and Aaron Donnell next to each other on D line, this is what we had fantasized about whenever. >> We get to finally see it, yeah. >> Yeah, and I assume McVeigh is pretty pumped up about all the Avengers returning to the field for them. Let's talk about another team that has a lot of topics around it. and they only have one loss on the season. We're back to rapid fire with Rapsheet, here's Connor. - Yeah, Rapsheet, the Vikings. Kyler Murray has some hamstring tightness or soreness. What is the situation there? Do you think they might be in the market for a quarterback at the deadline or even possibly Jonathan Taylor? And also, Johan Jennings told the 49ers to go to hell. Was that a real thing where that report was true? Were the 49ers reached out? They had a trade in place, but Johan Jennings said, I don't want to go back there. I know there was definitely talk between the two sides. I know that there was a time when at least for me, I thought a deal was gonna get done. I thought it was gonna happen, had a nice tweet ready, and then it fell apart. I haven't definitively heard that it was Jennings scuttling it, like that would seem a little odd to me, but I guess it's possible. And then the other question was about Kyler. So really what they're good, so they played Monday night this week, right? - Yeah. - Yes, actually. - Buffalo meals. - See you there. - We have a field pass, see you there. - See you there. - And rap, we need you to be by your phone. - Hey, oh. - Rap, we need you to be by your phone. Okay, we're gonna start cold face-time and people dorn the field pass. So just know we might need to do it. - Let's do it. - Okay, good. You'll be fine. I had my phone in my hands at all times, so. - Welcome to the field pass, rap. - Hell yeah, great to have you guys here. - Great to have you, rap. We appreciate that. But yes, when the service on Monday night, go ahead, pal. - Okay, so the biggest thing is Ken Kyler, like he does have hamstring soreness. I don't get the sense it's like really bad, but he is a mobile quarterback. And so if he can't move like he needs to, then I don't know that he's gonna play. And so then it would be Carson Wentz, which is interesting. - Yes. - Because when he's played and been healthy in this offense, it's looked pretty good. - A lot better. - Yeah, that's nice. - Carson Wentz on a football field looks good. There's other times that are very scary, but it looks very, very good. Maybe that's the answer all along, hasn't it? - It's kind of been sitting there. - It is Mallard season up in Minnesota though, so he might be a point. - Can't be here today, coach. - Yeah, but I thought it was later. I thought it was later. - No, I think. - Did we decide it was around Thanksgiving? - So we know deer season, you know, kind of with rifles around Thanksgiving. I think bow is happening right now. - No, it's right now. It's right now. September 26th to November 24th. - Don't act like you know, rap. - Yeah, Mallard season certainly has. - My life is from Mississippi. - I know all these things. - That's not Minnesota, completely different. It's two different states. - I know, but the South does have some good duck hunters from my understanding. You know, I think they are maybe the kings of duck hunting, I think down the South. - I don't know Carl. - Sounds right, no. - Carson Wentz though can get those Minnesota ducks to kind of dodge duck, dive in dodge whenever he gets on that duck call, you know what I mean? And that's a part of Carson Wentz experience that you just have to do. He's gonna be out there, if it flies it dies. And then on Sunday, he's gonna be out there at Duke and in Java. I mean Carson Wentz could be the answer in Minnesota, but do we think they're gonna be on the phones for another QB during trade deadline? That's been something I think a lot of sports talk has kind of fantasized about because Kevin O'Connor's been trying to find who the quarterback, who the quarterback, who the quarterback is. Do we think they're gonna do that? Or is Carson Wentz maybe the answer for this Minnesota Vikings team who once again was undefeated until three days ago or two days ago? - Yeah, I would like more answers including the health of Kyler and what happens if Carson plays before we get into that question? It's an interesting one. I just don't know for sure that it's a thing. - Got it, all right. Last question, we'll see if it's a thing, a thing at the wide receiver position for somebody who wants to take a big swing. We finish up Rapid Fire with Rapsheet with Tundig. - Yeah, Rapsheet, Drew Rosenhaus now has two big name wide receivers out there in Tyree Kill in Brandt and I. You guys believe just hired him as well? Do we expect those guys to land on a roster at any time this season for teams that are maybe looking for some wide receiver help? - Tyree Kill, there's a lot there. There's the off the field legal situation which teams have to wait through. And that was the significant injuries you could possibly get. So I don't know. I know he's hopeful to play at some point this season. I don't know when that will be. Brandon Ayuk has a long way to go to figure out his situation. He has to apply for reinstatement and then he has to get if that happens then the 49ers have to decide what to do with him. Because he's still a member of the 49ers. And so do they just cut him? Do they say, well, if this happens before the trade deadline we're just gonna hold on to you and trade you. Like there's a lot of questions. Him hiring an agent is an indication that he wants to play now. It's just, it's November. And so he'll probably have to get cut. I would imagine to play. So there's a lot of things happening here. A lot of things have to go right for him to be on the field. Yeah, such an interesting situation. If he gets back on the field wall, be very pumped for him. But it feels like there's going to be. Yeah, it does feel like quite a quagmire though of a lot of different people's personal feelings being upset about how this is all unfolded. Let's say the wide receiver position is rapid fire wraps up here. Go ahead, Con, man. Yeah, right. She, what about George Pickens? It seemingly has gotten pretty loud over the past couple weeks. He's on the franchise tag. You know, the Cowboys need draft capital. There are another team that doesn't have much of it. Could you see him being moved? Or is that kind of just fodder way out there? He's definitely going to be a cowboy. He's going to get an extension. Uh, I don't know about the extension part. But I was told there's nothing here and that it is not happening. Now, we've seen this before. Things can happen. I would have told you, Jeffrey Simmons couldn't get traded. But I was told, as of right now, literally nothing there. Yeah, but Jerry Jones said, I'll keep my eye out there if I think I can make the team better. Didn't even say that. This would not make the team better. Well, maybe. Back for a guy that's on a franchise tag, you know, that's kind of the conversation about why Quentin Nelson, you know, he's at the Forest Booker. His deal is up. That is kind of what a lot of these trades are driven by. He's like, hey, half a season left, kind of a loner going to run, win over the local community, win over the team. Maybe you get a long-term deal here. Or you hit free agency after maybe a run at the Super Bowl. George Pickens would certainly be a player that somebody who is at the top of the ladder would want to bring in for a Super Bowl runner. Chiefs. I'm sure. Chiefs. I'm sure a lot of people would like to have George Pickens. But, you know, the way the Cowboys division is, it is wide open. I would be surprised to see them training employees. I like that. Why open? Hey, Scott Fampelt said that last night in the hurry up, I respected it. He said, I'm a fool. I'm an absolute fool. I said, this is going to be a different Cowboys here instead. They dump all over themselves. It's the same problem. And he said at the end, they can still win the division and host the playoff game. Are they going to win that playoff game? Certainly not. Why? They got a lot of talent on that roster like George Pickens, C.D. Lam, that press got still there. Chavante Williams goes crazy a couple of weeks ago on Monday night football. You know, on defense aside, they can figure out how to play defense. Jerry said they're getting better on defense. You think they can figure out how to play defense in the NFL? Huh? Why not? Why not? He's in the lead. Cowboys. Cold zone or Cowboys owner, Jerry. You know what? Jerry, why don't you think about making the boxer a double team? Making all of it this weekend. Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones on one of five three, the fan there on your side on Dallas is defense. I like the way we're treating. I think it's better by what you saw Sunday in a part of the game. It's looking that way with the future in mind that we can get better and we are getting better. I'll tell you what, I hadn't looked like that at all. They got worse. Yeah. And they tried to win Maka. They got a bunch more pieces. They got ass. Still can host the playoff game. Good luck to them. Rap sheet. Tell the fans we said, hey. Oh. Oh. You're the man. Yeah. Appreciate you. Are you all wearing leather jackets with T-shirts today? Yeah. I haven't seen anybody else. So I'll let you know though. But we know that you got that wasn't sick. Yeah. That lower third going all the way up there. So sweet. That was cool. I enjoyed that. It's like a wipe off of it. I was like. What are you like? Nice. Nailed that. Yeah. Hey, when you stand. All right. Ladies and gentlemen, I see a rap board. Rap sheet. Rap sheet. It's a tall lads, especially you put that leather jacket on and come walking in a little bit intimidating. Yeah. You get sense it through the call. I mean, leather jackets you think he has. He probably has like 10 of them. I'm telling you, I've thought about getting one after watching Big Day with Big Shrakes where they had four of them across the board. Bomb jackets? Yeah. Imagine if you ever go on there. You have to wear one. I mean, the fans literally just watch every day and he's like, I got to get on there. Yeah. Look at those jackets. These guys were speaking to me. They do look super cool. Yeah. So cool. You know, we're talking about the teams that might be in play to make some moves before the trade deadline of November 10th. These are the current playoff standings. If the season was to end right now, congrats to the bills and the Niners getting a buy. And then super wild card weekend would be exposed. Patriots, Broncos, hello, AFC championship. And again, bonics, healthy though, yeah, not just a cake walk into the Super Bowl. Like everybody said about the Patriots last year, bangles, steelers, how you doing, keep it moving. AFC North battle and in Super Wild Card weekend. I know you guys would be sweating over their tone, digs. We have never, ever sweat the Cincinnati bangles. They have never, ever beat us in the playoffs. So no, member age. What's that? Oh, I'm sucking hot. Just kidding. That wasn't your fault. You didn't run down the tunnel and celebrate a bunch and hit everybody in the head. There was a couple of 15 yard penalties. I remember watching that. Steelers, bangles, always going to be chippy. And then chiefs and Jags, Jags are a team going to win the AFC South. I think it's pretty apparent. I think it's pretty evident. They're going to win the AFC South. They might win a whole day. They might play hard. Yeah, they might win a whole day. I guess there's a lot of season left. There's a lot of season left for any time. team to do. Maybe the Colts and Shane Sykins able to find a magic potion to get us in that. Sure. But the Jacksville Jaguars going to get a home playoff game. I think we all need to know that they might be the team that might be the most dangerous whenever they get in there on the AFC side. Then on the AFC side, Packers Vikings, Lions Giants, Bears, Panthers, three NFC North teams pop in there. And then if you look at who's lurking on either side, there's a lot of people there. All of them. Yeah. A lot of the Texans lurking. Yeah. What are the creatures? They look like Remlins. What are those things? Sorry. I forgot the NFC North battle there to top Packers and Vikings. Yeah. And then Lions and Bears sneaking in there. The NFC North, the best division in the history of ball. What did you say, AJ, about those lurking down there? These guys lurking. What do you call those? What are those kind of three Remlins? They're lurkers. That's what they are. They're all kind of different too. Like did you come up with it? Well, they're all different teams. But not every, dude. Every lurker's not the same. Yeah. Those are mag ones that eight after midnight. Yeah. What'd you say? Mag one. That might be the only one that watches this. Oh, old school. Yeah, old school. What was the movie? Exactly. Yeah. Exactly what they look like. Okay. So I still don't think I know what movie is it old school? I don't think they look like that in the movie. If you look up like Remlin from the movie Gremlins, they're looking exactly like that. Pull one up. They do actually look very close to that. And if you were to cover his face. Yeah. Oh, okay. Oh, that's exactly what I'm thinking of. I didn't worry each after midnight. Somebody decided to put a Gremlins down their lurker. I love it. Yeah. It may be a little bit of a move. So it's on a direct jacket. Yeah. Right. Yeah. These are Gremlins. I guess lurking down here at the bottom. What is the movie Gremlins? Is it a. So, oh, it's a tough to explain. It was one of those classic 90s movies when we were growing up, kind of like three ninjas, where these little furry creatures that were called mogwai. If they got wet or they ate after midnight, they turned into Gremlins and they attacked everybody. It was awesome. Okay. Great film. Yeah. So the Gremlins are lurking down here. We have a great playoff in store, but the AOC side feels like it's already figured out. And there's a lot of teams that are selling in Gremlins. We're one of those in Indianapolis. But I think there's a lot of question marks on who's who in that NFC, AJ, with what you saw from the Bears last night. It's hard not to say the Bears are the best team in ball right now. Is that okay to say or is that an overreaction Tuesday that we have after watching them dismantle the Seattle Seahawks at home out there? I mean, I think it's natural to overreact week to week when these teams come out here at point, and especially with how well Caleb has been playing since he came back from his injury, I don't think it's an overreaction to say they're definitely the most complete team right now playing the best. The question is, will they be there in January when it truly matters, will they be playing as well as they are now? It sure looks like it, but yeah, it's anybody's game. I mean, isn't it crazy that we have a two-and-five team that is lurking? That feels a big odd. That's on the AFC side, and that's the AFC south. And once again, I think the AFC side that we're seeing is probably who it's going to be right there. Just go across the bottom. The Browns, maybe. Okay, maybe the Browns do figure out how to be monkant instead of monkant again as they go forward. Raiders, they're going to have to make a decision a quarterback at some point, Kirk Cousins, unbelievable. Let's not judge them, but that's a tough division. Ravens without Lamar. I don't think anybody's given the faith. And then sitting at two-and-five, they can still make a run at the AFC south. I guess if Jacksonville was to completely fault her, and they maybe sneak in and get a wild cart spot, but it feels like the AFC side is pretty much figured out. I think with eight teams maybe over there. The AFC side, Rams, we wrote them off, completely wrote the Rams off. And then everybody that was kind of talking in front of microphones were scared to say it. They were like, sitting at two and four. We, uh, are we saying the Rams are dead? And it's like, nope, nope. Now they're getting Miles Garrett back. And Terence Ferguson back. And the Rams potentially going to run in the AFC side. Gonna have to get a lot of wins. But the AFC North might start beating each other up a bit and maybe that left side of the column doesn't really climb as fast as some of these lurking teams, Tashman. Yeah, I mean, we'll see, I don't know, after last night and maybe this is really reactionary, like the Rams, sure. Like, I think they still have a lot in front of them. I'm a little worried about the Seahawks. Their defense is really good, but offensively. And I assume they'll get stuff going, run it, like in the running game. But like, if JSN doesn't, like, he is their offense. He is their, the sole contributor on their offense. Sam Darnell just doesn't look like the same guy. So we'll see, I think the AFC North will probably beat themselves up a little bit. But I think there's a very good chance that three teams get in in the AFC. And I think a lot of people in the North fans of those teams right now outside of the Vikings. Like, I think Packers, Lions and Bears fans would say that they actually think the Vikings might be the worst team in the AFC North. And I want to know who hates the Saints. If we're doing two and five teams, the Texans are three games behind the Jags. The Saints are two and five. They're only one game. Well, the Cowboys also three and five. They're not on here. So I think we had to make a cut off of something. But I do appreciate you saying, hey, A lot, yeah, yeah, NFC South. We have no idea what's going to happen down there. Somebody's going to have a home playoff game in the NFC South again. In the NFC North is going to have to go on the road. What are we going to change these rules about what the playoffs are? Foxy? I don't like it. The Detroit Lions are crying about it a couple of years ago. Yeah, I was going to say, I think it was MCDC that wanted to change that rule. But like, if you look at this on the NFC side, Green Bay wins that game. Lion wins that wins that game. Bears win that game. I don't care what you say. All the road teams win that one on this side. So maybe we don't have to change it. So then it's in Niners versus the NFC North as you go to stretch in the NFC. Exactly. That's what the NFC North is known for going on the road and win playoff games. Giants fan Bruce Brown doesn't love that the first playoff gave him that life for the Giants in some time is potentially Foxy's Lions coming into town. You guys are in the driver's seat there in the NFC East, but seemingly very gettable by all the other teams. That's what I mean, Scott Fanpelt said about the Cowboys. I think Eagles fans, no matter how they we can still win the NFC East if you kind of get go commanders just have a huge win. They can get back in there. The NFC East is quite a shit show as well, Bruce, but you guys are at the top of the heap. Yeah, the we should probably redo it. The Cowboys should be lurking. I think they're, you know, plus 200 to win the NFC East. They have a 35% chance to make the playoffs based on the NFL calm stuff. So they're definitely still in this as well. And then the other one we left off is the, um, the underdog Cardinals. They're three and five as well. And they keep winning games. They're just saying they they should. So they're probably the NFC is certainly the more wide open side. And I would say a lot more good football teams. What? Okay, that's fresh out of what the Bears just did last night. Yeah, three and four. I mean, we had the Jets. Should we have the Jets? Should we have the Colts? Okay, all right. It's like you're down at the bottom of the barrel here. We're talking about the top of the top. You know what the Lions are probably going to beat the shit out of the Giants. They're looking back. Thank you, gump. Yeah, that's a Dolphins fan right there. They are not lurking, but potentially in the future, because their young guys are playing good. That's how the playoffs would sit at this exact moment. If it was the stop, we have a great season in stores. We go ahead. College football playoff rankings. We talked about it a lot today with Heather Dinnich and then with Reese Davis. It's a huge night for college football. This is a massive ordeal for us trying to piece together what this committee is all about already gotten text from people that are saying, why are ADs picking through the college football playoff teams are fair question already got multiple messages in this phone. Since the last time we put this screenshot of us sitting on on TV with the names of everybody in the committee saying, how the hell is this the group that's doing it? Would we ever get the group right? And AJ, what do you think we learn from tonight? I think tonight we're going to see what they value, what these people actually value. The head to head situation, where do you put Texas, Ohio State, all of that stuff. I think it'll be interesting because this is like who said, it's the first one. So we'll kind of get an idea of what their parameters might be. And like you said, Reese is going to talk to 100 year check right afterwards, right? Yes, he does every single year and it's always the worst interview of all time. Never answer anything. He just talks but doesn't say anything. It's not just him. The last guy got fired right from his job at Baylor. Yeah, he was this guy. The fight was somebody of the sidelines after he gave. Yeah, he was the chair. He was Baylor's AD. He was the head of the coach football playoff. He's doing all the interviews speaking. Well, the committee thought it was this instead of this and the conversation certainly got loud around that, but we want him with this. Okay, it's fired. Middle of season from Baylor. So now he's no longer in the coach, but they move 100 year check into the chair. He's now speaking. And it's like, they don't want to give anything up. They don't want to put themselves in any jeopardy for the future. So I think the most transparent they are the better, but like there's a very good chance that something's going to happen that Hunter doesn't agree with. So like he personally has to speak about something that he doesn't agree with, which I think he should be open about. I think the more open they are, the better for college football, but I think the way it's been handled in the past by these people is like, let's not give him anything that we can potentially contradict ourselves for three weeks from now. Because if we're going off-loss is now. And then in three weeks, we do something different. They're going to hold this against us. It's like, we're going to hold this shit against you regardless. So if you could just be more open about the room, like there was a big fight about this, inevitably it was seven six for this particular vote. That is a big split decision. It could change going forward. Like I think that would be good for all of us to understand what the hell is going on that room. But instead, I think what we'll see is probably a little bit of nothing. Just yeah, we like this. We didn't like this and they just move on to save their ass, which I think you saved your ass more with more transparency. Well, and that's what killed them last years. Remember, every single one leading up to the final one Notre Dame was in there. And there was no really discussion about it. It was just like, yep, Notre Dame's in the playoff. And then we get that last one. And they're in that 13 or 14 spot looking in. And it was just like, you know, they basically had to walk back like, you know, while we felt head to head like they had never mentioned any of that stuff leading up to it and that's why there was such a firestorm. It's like you said nothing about this. It was assumed that they were in and then on the final one, the only one that really matters. Now you have like this long line of reasoning why they didn't get in like that makes absolutely no sense. You know what we haven't talked about. I don't think yet about when it goes to 24, these people matter less, which is good. So having AD's made the decision to matter less because, you know, the 2015 bitching versus the 13th team bitching whatever they kind of have less power. So it'll be five techs immediately. How are these the boom, boom, boom, screen shot, screen shot, screen shot. I was like, I don't know. It is wild. Who puts it together? Who puts the community together? So it's a CFP, right? College football playoff, which is run by. Yeah, yeah. I think every the yellow thing say, no, that's Clark. I think just his name. He's former Air Force. He's the head of the CFP. He's the executive director. I assume he's the guy. College football playoff selection committee members are nominated by the 10 FBS conference commissioners and the athletic director of the University of Notre Dame and then reviewed and approved by the CFP. That's why people get so mad about Notre Dame, by the way. That is why. Yeah. If they're on top 12, they get an automatic bid. We will also be a part of the decision-making and who they say is even though everybody else will have it. Notre Dame has the ability to do that. If everybody could do that, they would. That's how Notre Dame shows it and flexes it. And they're also very important to the college football world as a whole. The nomination is a 10 FBS conference commissioners, Notre Dame and athletic directors submit nominations for open positions. The CFP management committee, which consists of the 10 FBS conference commissioners review the candidates, built 13 person roster. The committee balances geographic representation and is typically comprised of a mix of sitting athletic directors, former head coaches, former players, media members who serve multi-year terms without receiving a salary, expenses and reimbursement. They're probably staying at four seasons with really good pillows. They're traveling nice, but they're doing this because the love of the sport. That's right. Let's remember that tonight whenever we're all pissed off, especially you guys over there in Ohio State, if they document pretty good as they've done in the past with backup quarterbacks. Yeah, they might. I think, yeah, we could see some pissed off people tonight. But the good thing is if you're on the outside looking and you still have time to figure it out and get back in there. Yes, you do. And maybe some of these teams and students and people that hate the 2014, which none of us want this radical change that's happening. I assume after tonight, there'll be a lot of 2014 settles, a lot of this conversation. We're not saying that's a good thing, but it potentially puts some of the gripes to bed. We have some breaking news as we head off the air here. Arizona Cardinals have put Jeremiah love on the IR because of a high ankle sprain. Knox amount four to five weeks. Arizona's first round pick has previously been dealing with a different ankle sprain. Two ankles sprained. Hopefully Jeremiah love is able to stay healthy. His style is conducive to a lot of violence. Hopefully he's able to be a great NFL player for that Cardinals team. Big day with big shrags breaking down a big place is next. I can't wait to hear what he has to say. AJ, myself and the boys will continue digitally. Goodbye. I think we got low in. Yeah. I think we had it. The shrags reach out personally to the fonds, you think? I'm sure he's got number. I think the fonds probably reach out to them. For sure. Yeah. The fonds huge Kansas. I know that there is a chance that the fonds have seen our show then, right? If he's seen, yeah, you would have to make that assumption. He is like the nicest human on the planet from whatever one said. Is it his Sandler guy, too? So, you know, yes he is. Tracks and Sandler are like best friends. So it could be breaking news. Sandman's still bringing it. What do you do? We're doing trick-or-treat. There was five teenagers. Dressed as five different from Adam Sandler characters. And he didn't make it. Okay. Well, happy. Sure. Happy was in there. Waterboy. Waterboy. Bobby Bootsay. That's Bobby Bootsay. Yeah. Dracula. I believe one of them dressed like a hotel Transylvania. He was in there. Uncut James guy. Yeah. I don't think the teenagers know. Uncut James guy. Interesting. I don't think they did. Mr. Deeds. Deeds. Longfellow. How would you not have the Hubei Halloween movie? I mean, I think that was the Hubei Halloween is that they were all the Sandlers. Billy Madison. Yeah, I believe Billy was there. Yeah, we had Boots with George. Yeah, I believe it was Billy Madison out there, which could have also been Happy Gilmore, you know, because they all kind of blended. They're all such good characters. Yeah, they are. Shout to Sandman. Appreciate you. Love you, Sandman. Okay, let's get some break on the other side. We're going to hit all the headlines that we have not discussed yet. Wu Tang Clan. Performance and Thanksgiving up in Detroit. Hey, Eminem's done a good job piecing that thing together. Love it. Two for two after an absolute disaster a couple of years ago. We don't have to talk about that one. Performance is first. Wu Tang Clan is going to kill it. Going in a rock and roll hall of fame. Yeah, this year. Unbelievable. When we were there before the finals game. Unbelievable. Did Tony just have a problem with Wu Tang Clan? Yeah, no, I'm just a result-oriented guy. Who do you want, Tony? How do we get him happy around here? Why don't judge before it happens? Okay, I don't pretend like I know what I'm going to happen. It's going to happen. I'm not some fortune teller, Foxy. Okay, but Wu Tang Clan ain't not in the fuck with. Yeah, I know. They sent us those. All of them sitting right there. Yeah, we are big Wu Tang guys. Me too. Who's that cowboy who's saying the big 12 championship rock the show party. Yeah, he was fucking a little dirt on my boo. He was great. He had fireworks. He popped up out of the stage. I remember the big 12 championship fucking brought it. I mean, they absolutely brought it. They had a stage the size of Jerry World. I know. It was bigger than wrestling piece to dolly stage. Yeah, whenever she did things giving for the Dallas Cowboys, the big 12 championship down there had a bigger setup than that. And I appreciate that. That's what the big 12s got going. Here it is. Boom. Boom. Boom. I remember this. Oh, yeah. Look at this crowd is going wild. Three bands. Place goes crazy. Yeah, fireworks popped up out of here. Party fucking killed it, brood. That's what happens here. All these live, we're getting into live half time performance season. And I am thrilled about it. You would thought they would turn the lights on. They're waiting to really bring it in. And that's what that's what good like control does with good shows. Shout to Wu Teng Klan getting that shout out and shout to M&M piecing together incredible half-time shows and caring about our viewing experience. I appreciate that. I also like that the lines were like, hey, why don't the most talented guy? Why don't we have him handle this alongside Rosenberg? It's like, thank you for doing that because we'll go to some of these games. And it clearly mail it in, you know, just cutting costs. Letting people go take a piss. We're going to have something happen on the field here, not last night, but a little two dogs catching for his piece. Nice. Long toss. We're talking border callies. One would look like it was Australian shepherd. Okay. And the other one looked like a belgian malin wall. Okay. Okay. Yeah. And one lady, both dogs. At the end, they both jumped up into her arms. They were so happy. She was tossing malin night in them. These fucking dogs were getting it. Saw two drops. Okay. I love that. 12 throws probably. Had a couple 80 yarder touchdowns. I like that. Now they got the crowd going. Yeah. There's some halftime shows. Some of these places there where there's roll ball on the field. Just say fuck these people they paid. It's like you got fucking 70,000 people here. Can we maybe do a little something here? What? I appreciate the line saying we're going to do something for these. Yeah. And quick side note, I'm at game. We play the Bears. One o'clock. So Thanksgiving is going to be awesome. One or new. Well, they change it to one. They change it to one. Hey, baby, too. But there's Wednesday night football. Waff. Mm-hmm. So watch that. Sleep it a little bit. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Drop the one o'clock game. Then a four o'clock game. Then boom, we got night time game. Thanksgiving's going to be incredible. Oh, yeah. And then NFL got Christmas, too. Yes. And Christmas Eve now. There's that. What are we going to watch the NBA? AJ, why don't we watch the NBA? June. Yeah, there you go. Tuesdays Wednesdays. June. Right now. We'll watch. We'll watch. Tuesdays Wednesdays. We got some time. Women's college hoops started yesterday. I believe us. Audi Crooks with 20 in her debut for Oklahoma State. 12 boards. I saw her busting around the huddle, too. She's the leader of that team over there. Oklahoma State her first year at Iowa State. We'll keep an eye out on them. Cowboys got a chance to go because we like Audi Crooks. What men's college hoops team? Yukon is number one. Florida. Florida. Florida is number one. I like. I like Texas. Well, West Virginia's team. They won the Super Bowl last year. The crown. Yeah, there it is. The crown. I like Texas's team because I swagger his kids done her. Sure. What do you point in Iowa for? Cody Maine. You fucking reasons he buys you forget what happened to the tournament last year. Florida. Number one team. What happened? Oh, yeah, that's right. They got fucking beat by Iowa in a second round. What I would do. Yeah, they may feel the lead eight. Maybe the best coach in the country. Oh, yeah, I forgot about McCullough. He is the actual best coach. Yeah, big go. Here's the AP top 25 as we head into college basketball season. Florida, the top of everybody's pole, including the coaches. Duke Illinois, Arizona, Yukon, Michigan State, Texas. There it is. Houston and Tennessee and Virginia kind of dancing in those two polls. Those are the squads up at the top. Texas, though, swagger junior up there. That was cool moment last year. Marcus was very bummed out. Visibly bummed out. Get on the RV after the show. And swagger sitting there. It's like, what's up, dude? Pretty anxious, pretty nervous. Like, yeah, big show tonight. Got a big one. He's like, no, it's June from game tonight. I'm like, really? That's incredible who they play. You go Chicago State and I go, oh no, Chicago State's about to find out. Then Gorda, the stats guy, Chicago State was ranked like 140th or something in the country. And basketball. And I was like, oh good start for June. And then as I'm learning about the journey that him, his wife and Marcus Spears Jr. had been on in this basketball world. I mean, he's like the highest radio recruit that Texas has ever had. He could have gone anywhere. And he works his ass off for blocks last night. Yeah. And his debut. He's on the defensive side. He's on the offensive side. He grinds. And obviously Swaggoo D Lyman's dad. I mean, he is, it's going to be fun to follow along with his year. And I'm pulling for him. I hope they win it all. Outside West Virginia is going to win all. Sure. Maybe. What are they top 10? West, I didn't see West Virginia. I saw Virginia. Was that a typo in the, uh, in the top. Where's West Virginia at? Uh, they're number one in the crown. They're usually. Oh, yeah, they did with the crown too. That normally like leaps you into the top five bottom bottom. I think people didn't really understand how to take the crown because they're so used to NIT. Haven't wait. We didn't get into that either. We got into yeah, the crown crown, which people now think is above NIT for the right. Because West Virginia wanted. We're going to pop wood out there. So maybe West Virginia's, uh, they're, are they in other receiving votes? We had two votes. Oh, there you go. All right. Coaches. Coaches. Grand Canyon. Cross Hodges boys. DCU brings it. Who's that? Grand Canyon University. Great atmosphere. Yeah, perfect. Thirty nine other votes. Cool. Got walked last night. I love you. Why you. Oh. I said, I stayed then. Yeah. Tough times. Our NBA players, Clan. We have in other places, places like Ella shoe, you know, places that cheat. No, it's election day. No NBA today. Get out and vote. Are you serious? Yeah. They all played yesterday. Let's take a break. Everybody needs time to go out and vote. Jeff Saturday's not wearing a leather jacket. Neither is he in rap. What? He took his pants. Is it just for when the funds come on? Well, what if the funds walked in and took his jacket off? I can't see that. Give me that. Hey, listen here dickhead. That's just for me. Don't wear that. Give me that actually punch him in the face. You look stupid. Let's get to break. Jeff Saturday doesn't have a leather jacket on either, but he does have a hooded sport cut on Andrew Whitworth. Yeah, Clan is going to put a cigarette out on the Ian's forehead. Walk up to him. Thank you. Awesome. Give me a little man. Look, he's wearing a t-shirt. Yeah, why do you take it off? I can't. He's going to put it on for sure. You think maybe he didn't want to do that next to the funds? That's one of those things. Like you don't want to be next to the leather jacket guy with a leather jacket. That's tough to do. I don't know. I can't believe he's right. Take it off. Yeah, he's like rap sheet. I told you. We're not doing the leather jacket soon. You had to take it off. You think Shraigh's has a leather jacket much like rap. Oh, yeah. Like rape behind the set. If you live in New York, you have to. They look cool. He popped that. Uh-huh. Tanner Lovsky's jacket yesterday. It's a great jacket. Callers and Co. I have a question. Yes, Dan. We want to hear it. International Relations this time. Yeah. There's a guy that took 28 years to walk around. Do you see that? It's all that. Yeah. It did. Finish out his mom's front door. That's a lot of commitment. 28 years of doing something. Where he walked through. Oh, life based on the world. He started in Chile and then walked around the entire world. Oh, like what's his name with the wiper blades when he went from Chile to the New Year's Eve? Yeah. Yeah. I forgot about rainers either. Um. He drove from. And he get those Michelin, uh- when showed wipers all time. Those things. Double the strength and also triple the clean. Yeah. If you want to drive, there's a British Explorer. 28 year walk across. World mapped out is 36,000 mile journey reaches finish line. Congratulations, Brett. Legends. British Explorer. Hope they give this guy a day or two. I mean, it could be any of them, I guess. Sounds like he's been on the fucking 28 year vacation. So he's had only a time to. The hell's this guy do for work? How do I afford to do that for 28 years? Enterprise run a car. Yeah. He worked at enterprise. No, it's you. He would walk. He wouldn't. Yeah, he would not drive or get on a boat or plane. It was ironic. That's why. Okay. 20 said. Yeah. That's what the entire celebration is. Oh, okay. I took him 28 years. Yeah. Oh, he wouldn't document it. Anyone check on him and make sure he wasn't jumping in a car. Yeah. How come I didn't hear about this until yesterday? Because he's been walking. Okay. He started before you were born. It wasn't about the fanfare that we didn't want any of that. Really? Just for the love of the game. Yeah. I can't believe we even found out exactly. I appreciate him doing. There are people that do crazy hikes and walks that we never hear about and don't do the phone, you know, like super hippies that are just like doing stuff all the time. I'm happy we learned about the 28 year walk around the world. And to Dan Arlovsky, know that it was happening, why does he ask a question like that? And then we find out about this British explorer just a few months later. There's no way Dan. No, no, no. No, he said it's kids kids learning about the ice bridge. Here's Bushby. This is from Sky News. Shout out. Carl Bushby arrived. So I'm after 28 year walk from Chile. I appreciate you, Bushby. Hey, thank you for sticking with it. That looks like a guy that walks for 48 years. Yeah, it looks like a guy that's lying. Well, they say walking is one of the better forms of fitness and cardio. Yeah. You know, to keep you in shape. This is bullshit. Clean beard, hair cut, no way. When he's in picture from when he did the first day of his journey. So we're not thinking maybe sleeps, maybe he's like super wealthy and he just kind of walks to a super nice hotel. Kind of has a food. Walks at next one. No, he's not. They took him 28 years to do this. He's not driving around. Thank you for doing that, Bushby. Let us know what is actually possible in this world. We'll continue to strive to do things that are deemed impossible. Just like Daniel Officer does every day when his brain starts working. That's right. No way this guy can be this dumb. And then he's like just wait. There's more shout to Bushby for proving it's a okay. And shout out to him for doing a 28 year journey. It's a long time to commit to something. Hopefully we'll get a chance to live a life now. Keep that aligned for 28 years. I told you. Let's get to a break. We'll be back on the other side covering all the headlines. AJ, thank you for starting this entire thing of negativity. You're a good man. I saw a lot of people react to you driving with two feet. I guess that's their first time learning about you. This has been something you've been doing for a long time. None of us think it's good, but you certainly stand by it every time you get a chance to chat about it. No one rides the brake. Like why if you're used to, all right, I hate even bringing it up or you bring it up, but like why would you because you use your left foot to hit the brake? Why would I ever ride the brake? If I'm off the gas, I need the brake. I hit the brake. Okay. I never ride. You're using your hip and you're just kind of hovering above the the brake you're with your left foot, because I think a lot of people that know two footed drivers, they're resting that thing on the brake. So the brake lights are always on the ground. I'll bring it when I, if I sense, I have great awareness and if I look ahead and I see there's some, I possibly could need to brake. I will hover my foot above the brake and then move the transition. Okay, so you're on the ground going to it. So just like your right foot could go from gas pedal to brake, your left foot's going from ground to brake. Yes, I think that's worse. I think everything you just work reflection. Boom, lift it up, lift it up, boom, tap the brake if I need to. Like, there's no, I think people just, their left foot is dumb and uncoordinated. Mike, mine is not. So I could actually feather the brake. I can do whatever I need. I like how smart and coordinated your left foot is. And I appreciate that you're the whole time leading tackle for the Green Bay Packers. If that left foot, I'm not telling anyone else to do it. Sorry, I'm not telling, I don't want to cut you off. I'm not telling anybody else to do it. I don't care. You asked me a long time ago. He told your daughter this though. He told your daughter. Oh, yeah. Well, because she got the guy that hit their on roads or whatever we have to drive, you know, would try to get your license. Like, he's a character. I've met him. He's a fun guy, but he disagrees with what he's fond of. So that's fun. We're allowed to point about awareness. He did have a 91 overall in a matter in awareness. Yeah. Okay. People forget about that. Yeah. And that that's an accurate depiction of what this man is like. That's high. We have a picture card of Bush be 28 years ago whenever he left. Wow. Yeah, it's pretty well. That's what happens whenever you're staying fit. Yeah, he was walking the whole time. No, he didn't say he walked right 28 years. He said he was just completed the journey. He walked to a ton, hung on, walked to the next ton. Turns out he could have done the walking like four years. Hopped on a flight. No, he did not do any of that. He walked the entirety. That's the entire thing. He originally intended for it to take 12 years. Exactly. But some things got in the way. I believe we landed on the moon more than I believe that this guy walked around the world. We did. So yeah, you're right on board with it. No, we didn't. Good bye. Whoa. Good to know. It's election day. To a break. The different telephone. Nice. My change of life. We'll see you in five. Good bye. Awesome. That's AJ Hawke. He's a college football national champion, a super bowl champion, a rider cup winner in AJ. Who's going to win a Super Bowl at in LA in February on Valentine's day. Right now as we sit, AJ, who's going to ask that right now? Because I just want to know why not? Who's going to win it? You know what? I don't know. I've got picked the Buffalo Beals. I'm going to have to pick the Beals again. Okay, plus 600 bills. Second best odds to win the Super Bowl. I thought maybe there would be a little recency bias with what we saw in the Chicago Bears last night, but you're the all-time leading tackle for the Green Bay. Packer serves no chance of that ever happening. The toxic that was here at Boston Conner and at Tyshmit Conman. Who's winning the Super Bowl? If it's not the new England Patriots or something it is, I think it's going to be the Jacksonville Jaguar. Oh Duval! Another very, very complete team with the Bears. Jags vs Bears, Coinflip Games, three point spread. It's going to be magnificent. Maybe like a 34-31 finished Cam little with a game winner perhaps. Everybody burying the Colts, nobody talking about how the Jags buried the Colts. You know, that's what good teams do. Great teams bury the teams that they're supposed to. Now it's very rare in the NFL because everybody's professionals, everybody's getting checks, everybody's the best in the world at their jobs. Even if you're tanking or getting rid of great players, there's still a lot of very good football players on that Indianapolis Colts team. A lot of big time names and big time paycheck still on that Colts team. And the Jacksonville Jaguars just beat the dog shit out of them. Just absolutely beat the dog shit out of them. Liam Cohn was pumped with the lads. He came sprinting in. You know, he always has a lot of energy coming into the locker room after beating the Colts by 35-42-7. By 35 with almost a perfect performance from Trevor Lawrence in a defense that can absolutely hunt and they're a lot bigger and faster than people give him credit for. When you see him in real life, it's a much more respectful team when it comes to the optics of how they are. But just like the Tennessee Titans with Jeffrey Simmons, people nationally are going to have to see it first. They're going to have to fight. We're going to have to see this in a big way. We're going to have to see this in a playoffs. We're going to have to see this team actually. We're going to see this logo actually win some games that matter down the stretch. Jacksonville Jaguars can certainly do that this year and they have been doing that this year. Now the Tennessee Titans, they move on from their best player and he immediately goes and becomes the defense player of the year candidate in just one Monday Night Football game. Jeffrey Simmons changes everything, but that's exactly what Micah Parsons kind of did for your Green Bay Packers last year. Ty Schmitt, who's going to win the Super Bowl this year? As we sit here on November 3rd, 2026, you're casting your ballot for the Super Bowl champion. Yeah, as it stands right now, and I'm assuming this team will be fairly aggressive in the coming week of the deadline, I'm going to say the Denver Broncos. Wow, is that right? Are you kind of punching that one in because I don't think a lot of people are saying Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl right now. Yeah, it's a bit of a right in. Obviously they're going to need to play better in the first three quarters of games, but I think their defense is very, very good. And it's just tough to get away from that. Hey, this team's won 15 consecutive one score games. It seems like every time they need a touchdown or they need bonics to deliver late, he does, even though he may play like hammered dog shit for the first three quarters. How the time mail-in one in saying that Denver Broncos casting a ballot for the AFC West and Sean Peyton and bonics, AFC Championship last year. If they were to get to the Super Bowl and win it, I think people would think that Sean Peyton's done a pretty good job over there at Denver building. Remember it gets there, says Russell Wilson. I don't like it. Russell Wilson said, you might not like me, but I'm riding with you and then hits crossball. That was all filthy. I mean, what a perfect prediction out of Russell Wilson. Happy he's having success there, but Sean Peyton gets hired to do exactly what he's doing right now. You know, and that's a Walton family, right? That's Walmart money over there. They put a lot of trust and a lot of faith in Sean Peyton. If they were to go on and win the Super Bowl this year and bonics was to be together to lead him. Wow, Sean Peyton's big ass fucking brain does it again. I like that ballot there from Tyson. Let's go to one half of the hammer done. Cowboys AP ton ton. Who you electing to win a Super Bowl on this Tuesday, November 3rd? One of my candidates was set over there. So I'm going to not say that candidate because I don't want to double up. Okay. Well, that's how votes like, you know, like Castan. I'm more of a head for somebody. I'm more of a hanging chat guy. Give me the bungles. What? Tony. Come on. I know you come on, Tony. You vote for somebody that you don't want to win? Is that what you just kind of did right there? I'm like, I'm just telling you who I think's going Super Bowl. You know, think they're going to even make the playoffs, like let's win the Super Bowl. Their schedule is cake. They might not lose the game the rest of the season. They're going to be nice and healthy going to playoffs. Don't play off game. Well, it's so ton. Is this real? Yes. Really. You think the bangles my double check stuff here. You know, he's complimenting the opponent is doing all that because it's going to laugh if it doesn't. Okay. I think the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to circle you guys happy. Okay. All right. You got happy. You guys doing two votes. I didn't know that was a lot. Right. You know, it was. Thanks for the idea. Three because I was going to pick the jacks originally. Oh, three votes. Is that allowed? I don't think it's just 2020. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We were trying to figure out who the Super Bowl champion 2020 was, but that made it difficult because obviously it was COVID. Right. There's a lot of stuff going on and cardboard cutouts and stands. Hey, tonight there's going to be 500 front line first responders. First, we have front line workers that are going to be at the game night and fun fact, 27,000 cardboard pedals. Oh, it's going to be loud. 27,000 cardboard cutouts going to be there tonight. And remember, that was a headline. Oh, yeah. Shaffer, I can report on good authority that tonight we will break the cardboard cutout record for an NFL stadium. There will be 32,427 cardboard cutouts. Remember, they were selling cardboard cutouts and people. Oh, yeah, you can get your cardboard cutout front right there. I'm not in team bench. Maybe pop on camera. Won't be able to hear you, but certainly be able to see you. You can get that for $250. Not a bad little business move out of them. But in 2020, you're talking about having multiple votes and stuff like that for the Super Bowl. It was hard to know who's going to be able to balance and battle through all those different conditions just like it is today. You're in 2026. So, AJ, who'd you cast your ballot for? Buffalo Bill. Con man, you're on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ty Schmidt, you're on. I said the Broncos, but I feel like I need to change because everyone's picking an AFC team. Exactly. That's what I was just hearing because we're all talking about the NFC having good football teams. Sounds like everybody in here is thinking the AFC is getting back to the mountain top, which I appreciate. Yeah. The better comfort. You got to say it. You got to say it? No, I will. You will not hear me say, I think the Bears are going to win the Super Bowl. Just can't do it. I think they're the best team in the NFC. Potentially the best team in the NFL right now, but I won't fucking say that. Earing in here. Me say that. So you're kind of doing a spite ballot here. I'll switch for you. I'll switch for I'll say the Bears. Okay, because I said it was John's first Bears. Okay. You submit a vote of vote and then can you do that? Okay, bagels versus Niners. Okay. Okay. Okay. So you got it. If we're doing, we're picking the game, bagels versus Niners. But you still got the bangles winning that? Yeah, that was my original one. Okay. So he's still the same vote then. We got that. I'll go bear. You're going to Chicago Bears win the Super Bowl. Broncos Lions. Okay. Who wins? Well, now that he went to the Bears, I can say Broncos still. Okay. So AFC, we got the entire side. All right. I appreciate that. That's what I brought with my NFC dog. What about you? Hey, he's on holy shit. Drop in place to be a regular. Yeah. He's not wearing leather jacket. He's wearing covered in beef. But it's kind of a leather jacket, I guess. Is that a D-bone car? Covered in beef. Looks like it's cow hide, maybe a little naked. It's like a cow hide. I don't think that's. Yeah, that's like a good. It's like a tweed jacket. He looks amazing. He's in hext. Yes he is. Yes, he is. He's your co-star. You can't see how I'm not a star's dog. I've been there. I have a participant in hext. There it is. Did they have the rat on there? I think I have a hat. I believe the rat has a hat. I'm not a hearts and short. I got a sneak in there. I mean, I was able to record all of my lines in a seven minute period here in the Thunderdumbs. I think we can kind of understand what the role is. The role is that they run. It's in Haley Stonefeld, the main. Yeah. Haley. Haley. I'm now. We got stars everywhere. That's just going to be good for me. It's Disney, it's animation. It's going to be phenomenal. November 25th. It's in theaters. Cannot wait to watch it. Excited for my daughter to continue to enjoy the hell of this animation life. I never watch grown up. I don't know any of these movies. I'm watching them with Mackenzie for the first time. Lion King's got a pretty good little story. They're so bad. Yeah, not bad. Sad. Yeah. Early all of them. Yeah. Oh yeah. I don't love that. Shut up, my father. Kill the parents. The newer ones are not as sad. Well, it's, my wife says that she thinks I didn't develop certain feelings because I didn't watch any of these movies. And I think the said feelings that she's talking about is the ones that they force you to feel. What? Three minutes into every one of these movies. Yeah. Brief grief and sadness. What is it? I haven't seen them either. Absolutely when they were younger. But I haven't seen all of them. Yeah, I had too much ADD. I didn't watch any of these movies. This is my first time experiencing almost all of them. And boy, early, they want you crying just so they can bring you back because they need you to hit that devastating spot for the rest of the story, which is normally very good. I mean, I'm be honest, there's a reason it's an entire Disney world daughter. You know, it is. They get you. But boy, early in those movies, you got to really just try not to be listed because it's about to ruin your mood there. Yeah. Do you see muddy ducks? You know, I can't, I remember how I'm broken up. I was when Banks, he got that big hit against the Hawks and you know, they got a stretcher mountain, everything. I mean, so I didn't have those feelings. Exactly. Yeah. Coach got the DUI. Well, that wasn't sad. That was part of the story. Bombay was having a good fucking time. Super. You know what I mean? He was a lawyer too. Yeah, well, they did. Quack by Quack, Mr. Ducksworth. Yeah, exactly. I still like the way they sharpen those skates. I wish I could be there. Oh, yeah. Rest in peace to Hans. Yeah, a lot of Hans. Well, he's a gentleman. Congratulations to Flag football. It has a professional league. Really? From your Flag football, partnership with the NFL. So we have college, we have colleges providing scholarships for Flag football. We have high schools that in, I think, 30 some states where it's been sanctioned as an actual high school sport for both boys and girls, trying to get the girls one sanctioned in every single state. I don't know why they wouldn't do it. in such a great way. great entry point for the sport of football, vastly different sport than tackle football, but certainly our sport being showcased, love that they're continuing to invest in it. And I love that it's in the Olympics and maybe we'll open up our sport to the rest of the world. USA's gonna win all these. Okay, that just has to be what it is, but I'll tell you the Mexican team, very good, Canadian teams, very good. And I think there's a couple Asian squads that are gonna get very good very quickly because they got military folks over there too, sure that I kind of teach in the entirety. So there is, it's hot in the streets of flag football. This is just another step for that, congrats to the entire community of flag getting it professionally. - It's your point about USA winning all of these. In Gump, he might have heard this as well. I know he loves Logan Ryan on the call. He mentioned Rayjon Rondo being like a serious contender to be the quarterback. - What? - Four team USA and flag football. And I don't know, 'cause Hoosh. - Come on up. - I'm gonna beat Hoosh's the quarterback, man. - But Logan Ryan taught about it, 'cause Rondo's like a high recruit in high school and everything. I don't know, I tried to find out specifically if this was real, but I believe it is. - I think we've learned that we just need to let the flag footballers play flag football. Now, if we can get our most explosive athletes in there for a four-week camp, three-week camp of learning said sport in the ins and outs of said sport, I think we try to do that as well. We have to win the gold AJ. We can't be losing. Like, when they shut up the NFLers to play against these flag football, the USA flag football team, and they just smacked them around. I think that was a message everybody like, hey, we can't just be putting everybody on this flag football team for the Olympics. We gotta actually do it. We can't be losing in flag football AJ. We gotta win in flag football to set precedent for the entire world, but we do want the world to participate. - Of course, it's so different. And you notice that when they played the professionals against our professionals in Logan Paul and all of them, like the hip swivels, what do you call it? The elevator, the up and down, like all of this stuff of eluding them to they cannot pull your flag. That's the name of the whole game. - Yeah, everybody thinks you wiggle. No. - No, no. - You change altitudes, boom. 'Cause they're trying to grab your hip. And it's like, well, he can't hit me. You know what I do that? - Can you get in front of him? Like, when they're trying to do all these, can I, like, if I get in front of him to at least soil him? Yeah, I guess. - Look at that. - Boom. - Boom. - Boom. - Boom. - Kidding me. - Boom. - Goddamn. - Well, you want these flags? You got to grab machines, pal. You on way down here. - I'm gonna, what about that ball security? We're not really teaching ball security. Are we, like, what if I smack that thing out of his hand? - That's a whole nother handle. Is the peanut punch coming to flag football? Are we punching that ball out? I have no idea. Are you allowed to force a football? - I would assume so, right? - It's probably a dead ball if the ball hits the ground. I would get it. - I don't think so. - I don't know. See, it's different sport, same concept. - I don't need any NFL guys playing. - To lose, lose. - What? - For just folks on the good stuff. The tackle football. I mean, this is Hush's world, we're all living in it, you know. - Exactly. - And let's just keep it that way. - I fucking love Hush. The way Hush, I mean, he even has, like, a little like, like the way he throws it is sick. - He's got a little river. - Unfortunately, Tony sent it in. Region Rondo is the number one rated quarterback in the United States and flag football. Has Hush seen that? It's on y'all, who sports so? - Who's ranking Hush though? - I mean, what pro teams Hush, maybe he's, you know, maybe he's more focused on that? - There's some stats coming out about high school. There's in what sport they're choosing to participate in. Flag football way up. Obviously, it's being provided more opportunities and able to sign up for Flag football. But if you look at court participation in select sports, age of six to 12, which is where you build a good base. Remember, this is where soccer had the big coming out back in the day after the World Cup. Tackle football used to have a big one then it saw a little downfall for what generation. Flag football coming up in a huge way. Baseball, basketball, cheerleading, rounding out the top four before Tackle football. Golf, I think would be a good thing we need, everybody. - Yeah, golf and tennis. That is crazy. - Yeah, golf is one that we need more people to get involved in because of how much our life can happen on a golf course. And I think we should be promoting and getting outside more to a lot of people. I would like us to ban the e-bikes for all these kids. - I like that battle. - I agree with all that. - I need these kids to be pedaling bikes. I need them to be playing sports and pedaling their bikes. We're gonna have slabs with no leg muscles. We keep letting these kids just e-bike around these neighborhoods. - We can't even find them anymore. We're gonna go to Target, Walmart, everything is just the e-bikes. They have toddler bikes that are pedal bikes, but everything for teenagers and stuff, it's all the e-bikes. - These kids need to be built like AJ. I'm being serious. I think I have put my money where my mouth is for helping the next generation remain active and into sports. That's literally one of my only goals is to continue athletics and sports in the future generations and continue to have the greatest thing about the time. And I think if you were to check what I've actually done, I think that would be very valid. I'm worried about these e-bikes. No, there are certain people that will never be able to have an e-bike. I would have not have ever had an e-bike. But they're seemingly more affordable than ever because of how many different models there are. In these kids, I think one of the core things you do when you grow up on a bike is like, that's like you're building a lot of muscles. Walking, you're building a lot of muscles. Now these kids are just sitting down, sitting sideways and just (buzzer) and around. It's like, when are we developing? Are we ever gonna, you know what I mean? I think I don't know. - Hopefully we don't see like, I mean, it's probably something where 10, 15 years from now, we see a bunch of like lower body, weak humans, weak adults and we're gonna point directly to the invention of the e-bike. - I'm worried. I'm worried about it. Actually, I saw kid, it was a Conor's wedding yet. - Yeah, through the park there. - Yeah, Conor's wedding at this very nice park. Beautiful park. And they're letting bikes roll through. I'm like, man, this would be a great place to ride your bike. And then I started realizing, these kids are fucking riding their bikes. These kids were just, these kids were on motorcycles rolling around this thing. And I said, kids sitting like his legs crossed. (buzzer) - You're gonna make strength. You built with a dude on your back pegs. Someone on your front pegs, maybe even. Now I gotta go up a hill, like that's some adversity. - There's just natural workouts that are happening. And you don't even think are happening. Walking somewhere, riding your bike somewhere. I mean, let's not get crazy. Those blade and ears. - Turn. - I mean, you're building up your leg. It's like, all those things don't really exist anymore. Do they have e-blades now? Are these kids rolling around with little rockets on their feet? - Little remotes that just go. Those e-bikes are dangerous as shit too. They're going way too fast for what these kids at these ages should be going. Ripping through neighborhoods, going 25, 30 miles an hour, it's untenable. - We need more flag football, less e-bikes for these kids. - Yeah, and also it says Hoosh is the starting quarterback for Team USA. - For now, it's 2028. Keep in mind, I think Hoosh knows who's hot on his tail. And that's Ray John Rhino. And I would actually much rather pitch retired athletes from other sports playing flag football would be so cool. - Yeah, and would we still win? - Uh, yeah. - I don't know, dude, 'cause if they don't have them, I mean, that's the-- - We know Hoosh got that. - Put Russell Westbrook out there as slot receiver. - Listen, I love Russell Westbrook. I actually try to talk him into playing football whenever I saw him a few weeks ago. If he ain't got that, that's all we need. - If we're playing tackle football. - Yes. - Yeah, let's get Russell. But for this, you think we want Hoosh to fact in and say he's Jamaican now and then playing for the Jamaican. - I don't think that's gonna be a lot of that. - Yeah. - The people that don't make the US roster are gonna be teaming their home towns. - Exactly. - Me, I'm playing for Ireland's football. - Right. - Obviously, I'm not in effect, but similar type stories. - Can't have that. - We need our best. We don't need to be doing any politics. - Is there extra points? - Is there any kickin' in football? - I think you go for one from the two-yard line. - Yeah. - Oh, two from like the five or ten-yard line. - Just all we need to do is just know if you can-- - It's not a little ball sport, right? In high school, it's not a ball sport, right? - It should be spring. It should be an opposite football, I think. - Yes, definitely. - Let's not take away from actual real football. - But down in the warm states, I think footballs-- - Year round. - Let's just make sure this flag stuff is in effect in real football. - I think it's eating real football. - We see the call, that's what they're trying to sell you. Yeah, sure. - How these wild receivers done that have come in early, pretty good? - What do you mean? - Just young wild receivers, have they done pretty good? - Yeah, sure. - How about young corners? Have they done pretty good? - Maybe. - How about the quarterbacks? - Well. - I think that actually credits flag football as far as throwing those whole shots on the sidelines. - I think we are going to benefit from flag football becoming very popular in the tackle football world. Might lose some things though. - Yeah. - But there's always going to be these things. - I don't think so. Yeah, we're still getting. I will never forget that Fred Warner hit the flag. - Fred didn't play flag. - Yeah, but each generation seemingly still has these guys who want to murder people. It is. - One of these flag kids is going to get killed too, trying to do that little level change, and then their boom head on collision. Kids dead. - Because altitude changed? - Yeah, exactly. Because he's thinking, "Oh, this works with flag football." I use a tackle football game in the question. Need of the 10. - Okay. - Shot to the temple. Dead. - No, I don't think there was any guns in flag football. - No, I'm saying like head to temple. - It's a soccer game before we saw that in a soccer game. - Dude, that's crazy. I'm telling you, there's been a lot of perspective putting things happening in sports very quickly for all of us. You know, let alone the world, and everything that's happening in the world right now. But it's like, some of these sports you don't think about it until you're, you know, reminded in a very dramatic way. Like, hey, real consequences can happen from what's happening around the field. We will continue. I mean, to send positive vibes and prayers to Jack Campbell and his family as all eyes kind of on the Detroit Lions social media team. Jack Campbell continues to rest and recover at a local hospital preliminary indications are positive and out of respect for Jack and his family, we will not share further information at this time. So now everybody's trying to decipher what this tweet means. This was sent on, I believe, before Dan Campbell at a press conference, so Dan Campbell, if he was asked about, it could refer back to this particular statement, but the word positive in there, I don't know what that means. Positive, like, we're a positive family, everything is positive, it's kind of how we view it. And I think Dan Campbell go into answer and say like, his family is super positive, that's how they're viewing it all. That's an interesting word to put in there, especially when we're all wondering. So hopefully that's an indication of something, you know, but we all just kind of wait around to see what has happened to Jack Campbell. Foxy, is there, what is, what's kind of going on with the Lions fan base about this all? Obviously for the rest of us, we're like, holy hell, I forgot that this was possible in football, especially to somebody who's done this, thousands and thousands and thousands of times in Jack Campbell's life. How do Lions fans react in this? 'Cause you get a huge win, you look good at ball, but now that Jack Campbell, who's one of the pillars of your team story is certainly a very real one. Yeah, Lions fans are incredibly bummed out, and obviously, thoughts and prayers to Jack in his family and all of that. If you thought like Aiden Hutchinson was kind of like the flash in the face of the defense, Jack Campbell is the heart and soul of the defense. He's a guy that every single team would want. He shows up, he's gritty, he's tough, and he makes the right place. That's why he leads the team, intacles every single game. He is outstanding, and aside from the football field stuff, just as a leader and in the community, he has been awesome and just really helping for the best for him. Now in A-Man to everything you just said there, but for Hutch, Hutch hosted the Halloween party, rallied the boys after the Jack Campbell injury. On the fourth and fourth blows up the play, and the immediate next play, it's like, I think Hutch has grown into becoming. Absolutely, and Hutch, and every single person on that team has posted Jack Campbell on their Instagram, just photos of them, and given them T's and P's, it's really rallying them together. Yeah, 97 won the ticket, Lions coach, Dan Campbell said, "Linebacker Jack Campbell is improving," says pro football talk, off of the coach's interviews Tuesday, up there on local radio. Improving positive, what is that in comparison to? We don't know, we will continue to follow along with storyline. Basketball is really happening. Basketball is really happening right now. Lucas must watch AJ. Luca is must watch. SGA won crazy last night, I do believe Oklahoma City has a bunch of injuries. LeBron James in the six are seemingly unstoppable as well. I think there's going to be five, six storylines that are going to continue to brew. Shout to Sean Stoppen by earlier. Yeah, there's Sean Stoppen by earlier. Now, the NHL, they got a player empowerment error happening, said Kevin Weeks, who we appreciate him stopping by early. Thank you very much. Did you hear that, AJ, where he said player empowerment error? I don't think we've ever thought or considered that in an NHL type conversation. But it is happening right in front of our eyes. A lot of players want to move. Larkin and Detroit, get me out of here. Tutorov and Tampa Bay, get me out of here. Halabek, get me out of here. Kitshuk, Brady, get me out of here. It's been a wild offseason here, AJ, for the NHL. Is this make it better or worse? What are your thoughts on it all? I think this is going to make it better, ultimately. Obviously, like coaches, GMs, owners probably don't love it because they've been trying to keep the players down for years and years, I feel like. And it's like, that's what makes hockey so special. It's what a team game it is. And it truly cares about the team. But at some point, these players do. You've got to kind of take control. And it's not everybody. You've got to be able-- like you always say B-- what is it, you know, a Ford who, whatever you're a Ford who, you can be, whatever the whole situation is. You can't be doing this if you're a scrub. You've got to be a great player to be able to try to demand, like, to get off this team. Yeah, be who you can afford to be. Yeah, absolutely not. He was in there somewhere. He was in there somewhere, but yeah, if the big name players which they are are going to be kind of moving, grooving, trying to figure out the right home to go and win a Stanley Cup or at least find some more happiness within your life, that's good for the day-to-day conversation about hockey. And I know hockey purists are going to hate that. But whenever you think about insiders for hockey, you think about Freige up there in Canada, right? Elliot, Freigeman, or whatever his name is. Yes, sir. He's been around long, long time. We appreciate-- we follow him closely. Emily Kaplan, she's an insider right. And then Wixi. But none of them are really that active. There's not really a bunch of headlines coming out from there because hockey's so quiet, players are so guarded and don't say much. It's like it would be good for the day-to-day of hockey if there was a little bit more action. Instead, they're fucking fine. Thanks. Well, I thought we thought we saw the guy maybe-- he's fine. Shut up, all right? Thanks. OK, where'd he go? He's out for two months. I'm fucking asking, OK, what happened? Well, we told you, don't ask. It's like that's what hockey has kind of been. The NHL has been. It's part of the allure of hockey. Old school, very quiet, very tight lip. We're gritty. We don't let stuff out. We're not about the drama. We're just about the sport. Now it is opening up a little bit to 2026. And I think it's good for hockey as a whole, but the purest are going to hate that. Ain't that right, Nick? Hockey, purest are going to hate everything about it. You too, Gumpy, as you nod your head and agreement from most Canadians perspective, I assume. Yeah, and a lot of it still stems from the Olympics and kind of the fallout from that. But then there's the Kuturov situation, which is completely different, where he's a player. He's a franchise icon. He's done everything accomplished it with Tampa. Been a great guy, great teammate. And then all of a sudden, he comes out and feels disrespected because they've only had two conversations with the organization in the past two months. He's 34 years old. He's looking for another deal to lock it in, make Tampa his home retire there. And they kind of lowball. And he says it's not about the money. It's more about respect. He came out and said that was just about the money. Those two things kind of go hand in hand. I feel like in this situation, the money is the respect essentially. Hey, don't take the business personally. They say it's like, but it is a personal business. We don't like you enough to pay you what you should get paid. Hey, it's your business. Don't take it personal. It's like pretty fucking personally. You're saying I haven't earned to be paid. So you ain't start doing a math on where everybody is. So this guy is worth more than me, after everything. No, it's just business. Don't take it. Well, that's kind of a personal thing though. But you're offering that is kind of a personal shot at what you think I am versus what is the reality of it all. That's why it's always difficult and easy from outside saying, and like, let the business handle itself. Let the business handle itself. It's like pretty fucking disrespectful business going on here though, though, you know. And you can see a lot of players get like that. It's led to a really awkward position because the night before he requested a trade, he was honored by Tampa Bay becoming the franchise's all time points leader passing. Steven Stamcoes, who they kind of played hardball with a contract a few years ago, which led to him leaving in free agency to go sign with Nashville. Hawkey getting drama, gump, you don't think the Hawkey Purse are going to love it up there whenever they're eating the chowder up in the Pacific Northwest, Paul? The Kutcher off one I understand, the Dylan Lark and one I don't. I mean, he's never really done anything for the Red Wings. He's part of the reason why they haven't made the playoffs. He's the captain. I don't think he really has a point there, but Kutcher off because they did it to Stammer. Tampa Bay has a history of doing this to the legends of their team, so I don't love this for Kutcher off. Okay. Hawkey's getting alive. The NBA is coming alive. MLB happening next year. I don't know. You don't know. When will they start? When will we know? When do they meet? Well, they'll do, you know, the hot stove stuff, but nothing's going to happen there because teams aren't going to be willing to, you know, big deals to anyone if we're not going to have a fucking season next year. So, I don't know what kind of stamp hat. See what happens. I got your news for you. Universe ball. Here we go. Okay. So, yeah, we will be having a season next year. You know, and a lot of people will say that was below the rim. It did not go in. I choose to believe that that did go in. I also don't know if you saw a lot of things have been going around about the spin, uh, spinning bananas, maybe penises are out. No, that is not a joke, juggling a ball in front of bananas, make it count, said someone asked you what banana ball means or something. Show them this clip. Guys like juggling the ball on his feet or whatever. And then someone else comes over and, oh, you know, boom, his pants fall down. And he's sitting there in his boxers and it's from behind. You can't tell that his penis is out, but I never have, I know that his grobworm sneaks out. No. No, he's nailing an engine anywhere out. Oh, I don't know. I do feel vindicated. No, yeah. Well, I mean, the high jinks are always going to be remain with the banana baseball, but you need to know that it's already been opened up. Aaron Judge is a lot to play for the Savannah bananas next year, if the Savannah bananas are the only baseball team in town. And Foxy, I think we should all be excited about this. Yeah. I'm very excited about it. And I actually have a question for you guys. Can you trade on draft Kings on Savannah banana baseball? That's great. Because I'm a huge fan of them now because there was a guy on Dancing with the Stars who is a Savannah banana. So I've really fallen in love with the team. I'd like to put some money on. Do you trade on Dancing with the Stars on draft Kings? I do. I trade on it all the time. I'm actually currently doing that right now. There's a guy named Ezra who's outstanding. He's the current favorite on Dancing with the Stars. He's got good hips or good feet or just kind of. Foxy. Fun fact, he's a Paralympian. Am I saying that right? And so he only has one leg and then he has the prosthetic leg, if I'm saying that right as well. And he's incredible though. And he's by far the favorite on Dancing with the Stars. No way that guy's going to win, right? You don't know that. You don't know that. You don't know that. I'm saying, of course, he's going to fall. Oh, okay. They're not going to let the Paralympian win. Well, especially with how talented it is, he sounds like he's actually very good, yes. can trade on that? Yes, he's at 97%. favorite right now. - Oh, wait a minute. - Oh, okay. - I'm gonna go value on the other guys 'cause he's in some falls. - Is this him right here? Are we watching him right here? - That's him. - I think you gave him. - No, that's not him. That's not him. - I got that. - I got that. - So I understand why Bruce brought that up. The dancer on that one is named Ezra and then the star is with a different partner and his name's also Ezra. - Oh, multiple Ezra and Dancer with the stars. - Gumpy, you've been trading. - We've been having to trade because of the states that we're having to, it's an interesting game. I'll tell you, that is an interesting thing. Just you go from the sports book world into the trading world. Very similar, but it is a little bit of a different world. But on draft gigs, I make it as simple as possible when we're in those states, which I appreciate, obviously. - Yeah, you just got dial in your percentages. Once you get your percentages, right? Or Lofsky knows all about it. Then you just trade in the exact same. I love it. I'm daily trader now when we're not in Indianapolis. - Yeah, we've been in a lot of states where trading is the only option in Gumpy in the morning going. What's the trade market, look at that man. It's just such a hilarious thing that come out of his mouth every single morning whenever we wake up in one of those states. It's phenomenal. Walk down to the lobby. There's a bar. Gumpy's been sitting there for three hours 'cause he doesn't sleep or whatever. He's already made himself home. Walk in there, Gumpy, good morning. He goes checking the trade market, man. It's like, I love that you do that. And I also love that it's available. Coach, Coach, shout the draft kings. I think draft kings. - Yeah, climbing, number one. - Yeah, just the quality of shit's so good. They are very good. Tech-wise, they have got a pretty doubt in both. And we're grateful for that. - User interface is really good. - Yes, exactly. And I think user interface is really the entire game. If they're gonna pay, which they have to. So like, back in the day at the beginning of sports books, it's like, how quickly can you get paid out for these places, can you? What is the user experience like? What's the user interface? What's the tech like? Now, draft kings got the point. They got the best tech. They got the best user interface. And their sports people, you know? So when it comes to the trading world, whenever it's sports, it's like it feels like they're setting them up. I'm very grateful for what draft kings has been doing. We, though, need to continue to be the people that say, hey, sports gambling and sports trading is gonna be something that's gonna be a part of our lives going forward. We can kind of set the tone on what future generations do in this. Don't be an asshole. You got a gamble responsibly. This is just like whenever alcohol hits the world or anything else hits the world. Like, you have to be responsible at this thing. You cannot be an asshole. It can get out of control. You should not allow it to be. You do not think you're gonna get rich off of this. You're just trying to make the game a little bit better. That is how we have to treat gambling. And I think for future generations, we have to continue to pound that drum 'cause that's very, very, very real. But with what draft kings is doing, I'm very grateful for how they figured it out for us to make it as easy as possible our non-tech hands, A.J. Hawk. I cannot imagine how difficult it'll be to run that and try to make all the lines for all the games. Like, how many people do they have behind the scene? It has to be a touch. I know they've got to have algorithms and things that are helping them. But there you go. And then also hacking, 'cause you got accounts in there. So the amount of coding to protect and everything. And I think AI now, with the way it's able to code and also hack, I think there's always a constant battle. So I think draft kings is always spending to protect what they have, 'cause you have to now. That's kind of the modern world. And they're always getting better, which we appreciate. It's been a fun partnership with draft kings being our official sports book. But we have to remember, we're not getting wealthy off it. We're just bringing a little action. Yeah. Maybe on the Bears. Plus 1,200 yesterday, plus 950 today. I mean, that's 250 points swing in one game against the Super Bowl champs. I think that's them saying, maybe the Seattle Seahawks aren't that bad, maybe the Bears are just that fucking good. That's a huge swing. That is a huge swing overnight for a team. They become the fourth highest odds to win a Super Bowl. Chicago Bears Sports Bowl, Kevin Lotter, respectful with they saw last night. Like, hey, Jeffrey Simmons corrected a problem that we thought they had. This is an issue for everybody now, especially us, is we probably have a heavy weight going on there. Yeah, they saw with their own eyes. Like the Bears' defense was by far their weakness, both the run game and the past game. And Jeffrey Simmons basically fixed both those things with the pressure in the past game and stopped in the run in that situation. And then you go on the road and you win in Seattle, which not a lot of teams can do. What was the stat, the Seahawks one didn't lose by more than four points in their last 30 games. And they lost by 17 last night. So yeah, it incredibly huge performance by the Bears last night. And then, yes, everyone, plus they dropped the odds because they know that the public is now betting on the Bears to win the Super Bowl, so they don't want their liabilities to be as large as they possibly could be. So that's a lot of it, too. And based off that win last night, that's a huge part of it. Swift becomes first player to have three touchdowns, little and a half in a game. Versus Mike McDonald led NFL defense. So I mean, I only rushed like 64 yards. They were able to move it down there. McDonald's defense, first Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson's offense, headed to the Chicago Bears way. And then the Bears defense became the story of the entire night, as opposed to the Seattle Seahawks defense, completely flipped the script of what was possible last night. That's why the NFL is the best. That's why the NFL is the absolute best. Hey, Matthew Stafford had ice on his arm. Say he's having arm soreness. I mean, guys put ice on our knees every basketball game. Yeah. I mean, pitchers do a whole thing after their pitch. He had a low ice on his arm. Just saying that big of a deal, Matthew Stafford to go out there if his arm was hanging from a thread off of his shoulder, right? Or are you worried about this? Because he is 39, 40 years old at this stage, very late in his career. They throw the ball a lot in that offense. So if he has ice on the arm, maybe this is a little bit of a sign of the times from Matthew Stafford in the Rams? I would, I mean, I wouldn't worry about it. I think there's a lot of quarterbacks that might ice their arm every single day. We know pitchers do after they pitch. It's probably just routine, normal stuff he's going through in the season. And we know he's got that whole immortal chamber over there. So he's going to be hopping in that thing probably every morning. I like that this is news though. Yeah. Hey quarterback ice is arm. And then McVeigh comes out and says, he has dealt with some soreness. It's like everybody sore at every stage. How important is it? I guess TBD with everything we have going on. You know, you talk about the affinity or immortal chamber out at the Rams becoming a huge part of their story. I saw Dr. Goldman last night. Do you remember Goldman's standard to psychologist? Do you remember this AJ? I believe so. I think it was, was it Justin Fields or CJ Stroud? I forget which. See to contact from that test. Yeah. The Goldman standard became like a test that they were giving to a lot of, I guess the Bears have brought him in. Said like, hey, we would like you in the building. This happened without Guerrero. Guerrero had a bunch of people that were working around the entire NFL started with the Patriots. And then he had like a team that were working around with different players. They would travel in on like a Tuesday, work on guys on Tuesday night, Wednesday night. And then if somebody needed something again, they come out on Friday like all over the league. I think 28 teams had guys that were traveling from the Guerrero world. And then the Patriots locked up Guerrero. We're like, hey, you gotta keep all your little offspring. Everybody you're coming in here. You're only working on our guys. And I think plenty guys up there in New England have credited like getting back healthy because of the process. But I think anytime there's these outside doctors or things that are helping, and a team decides to like bring him in and lock him down, I think it's smart. I think it's a smart play. Golden and becoming one of the piece of the Chicago Bears. I thought that was a smart decision by what Poles and Ben Johnson are trying to do over there. I assume you have to have a psychologist, some sort. I asked him why Ben Johnson was a good head coach from his perspective. And he said he's authentic, he's competent, and he's compassionate, or compassionate. There's are the three pillars of leadership. The competency, you gotta know what the hell you're doing. Authentic, you gotta be your true self. And then you gotta have compassion, you gotta care about others. And Ben Johnson has all those on top of being an offensive guru. And it's like, I guess the Goldman standard in the building is just remind people of that. I guess it's the right move. It's obviously working over there, but I like anytime a team does something like that, AJ. - Yeah, usually, I mean, especially back in the day, 10, 15, 20 years ago, when the outside people would come in like the trainers, the doctors usually are trying to keep them away, because we all, we know. There's a lot of scrubs out there. There's a lot of snake oil salesmen that want to sell you a bill of goods, and they don't really do anything. They may even hurt you. So back to the team brings them in. I think that's a huge deal, because that means everybody is kind of bought in from the top down. - Yeah, Ben Johnson, great leader. Dr. Caleb all the way in. - Compassion is a good way. We know what do you say, what are the three again? - Authenticity, competency, compassion. - A lot of people have the first two, and they don't have the compassion, I think, as far as it comes to NFL coaches, it's like a business, you're just, you're one cog in the whole system, and you don't really think about it, have compassion for people, so that's, I agree with that. - Yeah, can you reach somebody I think is the compassion? Can you make them, you know, they don't care how much you know. I thought I know how much you care. You know what I care about? - Sports. - Hell yeah. - All right, let's look at the last thing before we head out of here. College for what, what's that? - Valkyrie Parade, did they have it yet? - Oh, that's a good question. I don't know when the Golden State Valkyrie's parade will be. I saw they got celebrated at the Golden State Warriors game. I believe that was last night or two nights ago. I assume the parade has to be happening today or tomorrow. - Tomorrow. - Tomorrow, the parade will be happening. AJ, would you like to go for us to represent? - It's tomorrow? - Yeah. - I got something in the afternoon there. - Yeah, Golden State's far away. We'll cover it for sure, though, congrats to him. We said, he's been boots on the ground before that wreck at Bill's House. - He's a fever season ticket holder, but you're right. He did go to the wreck at Bill's House and some other boots on the ground situation. Golden State Valkyrie's, they mark the calendars and dare we say, call in six? - Oh boy. - He's two times on one week. - The Valkyrie's champion, 1230 was an assassin. - They wanted anybody to work around here? - But, hey, there's a title on the line. Now the title has been won. The Valkyrie's championship parade presented by about K.P. will be held Wednesday, November 4th at 12 p.m. Pacific, which is 3 p.m. Eastern. We won't even be on. - No. - That's good, we get to watch it. - Yeah, we will. We will watch it. - All right, let's get the hell out of here. - What's that? - The hell was that smoker for? - No, no. Chokesman, J.L.A.P. - Last thing before we go. Tonight, college football playoff rankings. I know we've made a big deal out of it today. It is a big deal. It's a huge fucking deal. This is the last year of 12 teams. It's going to 24. Everybody hates the radical change. 24 is certainly too many. Maybe it does take away from some of the games. We'll figure it out. I could have went to 16. I think everybody would have been like, okay. Maybe not so much going all the way to 24. Has been a big jump. But here's a chance to make. It says ESPN Insights. Only three teams have made the playoff after not being in the initial CFP rankings. James Madison, Tulane and Arizona State. So, and I think the winner has been in the first one every single time or whatever the case is. So tonight can tell us a lot. I think the thing we'll be looking for is, how do they judge wins and how they judge losses? We'll know immediately. And then we'll wait for Restavist to ask great questions. And hopefully get one good answer, right Ty? - Yeah, I think so. I mean, I'm just looking at that. I'll tell you what, you know, more power to them. I don't want to see UTSA in the playoff. - The Mebes? - Yeah, no thanks. - Me, me. So, you know, that's just kind of where I'm at right now. I know there's a lot of parity this year. I know a lot of SEC and big 10 schools have two losses. I'm good on UTSA. So. - You said boys and states good enough? - Well, I mean, they're the one that everyone kind of just like, yeah, that's fine. You know, whatever, boys and state, you come to the party, go home early. Like, you do every single time we do this, but we don't need a repeat of last year, okay? So, I want the community to keep that in mind. Remember what happened last year in those first round games, okay? We don't need UTSA. - UTSA has a 16% chance to make CFP says-- - That's too high. That's too high. - Oh, it's 16% mean. - If they were to do this 100 times, 16 of those times, UTSA is making the field. - Do you think Rolowski gets that yet or no? - No. - We know he doesn't, he said it to us. - And actually now that I say that, I don't give a shit. If UTSA gets in, you know. - I mean, McCown's boy is a quarter, more power to him. - Okay, so it sounds like you're happy with you. - Yeah, I've come around on that. Why care, you know? - Why care? I mean, you should care. - I'm saying, like, why would I care that they get in? - We'd be happy for him. - Yeah. - Might be over Iowa. - Oh. - Yeah, I'd have issues with that, but. - Until that day comes. - Exactly. - What could be tonight? - I don't think two group of six teams are getting in. - Yeah, I don't think so either, we shall see. I mean, who knows this year with the amount of teams that could be coming from what conference? That's another thing we're looking for tonight. AJ, how many big 10 teams? When it ends up at not tonight? Uh, okay, we'll go tonight. How many big 10 teams you think are in top 12 tonight? - Three, two, three, three. - Three. - Three. - I think three. - Indiana Ohio State and UCLA. - Yeah. - Yeah, I think three tonight. - How many out of the SEC? I mean, based on, you know, all this to pride fucking six, you know, SEC's best fucking conference ever, you know? So, yeah. - Who's saying that? Is that what everybody is saying? - Who? - All their coaches are bitching about playing nine games when everyone else has been doing that for years. - Everybody's pouting. - Has everybody else been doing that? Nine plus one? - Well, they're definitely playing nine conference games. - Nine plus one is the big thing that the SEC wants. Everybody else to agree to. If we're gonna do the 24 playoff, need everybody else to agree to nine plus one, which is why West Virginia brought Purdue onto the schedule as a big ten football team. - Yeah. - And we'd like to bring Rutgers back. That was a good rivalry too. Hey, we'll take on everybody in the big 10. If that's what we need to do, okay? And how many in the big 12? Okay, so if you got three from big 10, you got five from the SEC. You get two from the big 12? - I mean, tonight, it'll be why you and you two. - Okay, so Dumpy just put up four fingers back there. - I think Houston's a better guy. - Tonight? - I think Houston or Arizona gets in. You can't just-- - In the top 12? - I don't think-- - You can't stockpile, you can't stockpile SEC. - They will though. - I know, it's stocks. I just live in a world where I'd like to see, you know, I think Wake Forest deserves to be in from the ACC. I'd like to see more than two big 12. That's just me. - Okay, so if there's two big 12s, stay the math here, two from the big 12. Coming from the ACC, gotta be too right. Wake has to be in there. - No, no, basically. - It increases the state. - In five SEC. - Tonight? - Tonight they can put in 12 SEC. - Okay, five SEC, two big 12. That's seven, three from the big 10, right? - Yep. - Okay, that's 10. - There's one ACC, one independent. - Yeah, so one from Miami. And then, what about the fucking group of six? - I thought we were just talking top 12 tonight. - We aren't talking top 12, but it's actually top 11 because then the group of six-- - True, but do they still do that tonight? - No, they just think the top 25. - Yeah, exactly, so-- - But we'll have to do a full, exactly. - In this situation, it would be-- - Right, this team would be in there. Okay, so then you put Notre Dame, I guess, in there. Two big 12, five SEC, three big 10, one ACC, one Notre Dame. That's what we think it's look like tonight? Oh, in favor say aye. - Aye. - Aye. - Aye. - No. - Well, that's coming. Opposed? - Aye. - Okay, that's gonna be-- - Aye. - Yeah, that's somebody else. - I think ACC gets two tonight. - Okay, who? - I think Blake's gonna be in it tonight. - Okay, so who loses when SEC has four? - No, I have three big 10, two ACC, two big 12. - Okay, five SEC, and then no Notre Dame? - No Notre Dame. - Oh, drop Notre Dame out of the top 12. - Didn't even think of that, dog. - Wow, she's a wheeze. - Tone it. - Do they beat him? - This weekend is really the Notre Dame. Backs against the Catholic school wall. Miami fresh out of the scare. Is that good for Notre Dame or bad for Notre Dame? - I think the weather Saturday night is good for Notre Dame. - What's the weather coming? - Tony said it's gonna be very chilly. - Is yeah, it's a high of like 48, low of 37, so probably at night, 37-ish. - Okay, but Miami pretty physical football team, huh? - Definitely, yeah. - But I think, I think home field advantage, I think matters in this one. Notre Dame has to win it. It feels like everybody's saying the same thing. And how will Ohio State look? Are we in on Fahey? How do the Buckeye fans feel about the future here at quarterback? - Yeah, I mean, I think he definitely improved. They didn't lose because of him. We couldn't really stop anybody, as far as that USC offense came. So yeah, I think he's continued to improve. He'll be all right. They got four tough games. They got a win noted to try to have a chance. - Can a guy throw a smile on there? Well, how do we feel about him as a player? AJ, you breaking him, Doc. You saying about him pressing? - It's crazy that they're going to a true freshman here in this particular setting, which is why injuries absolutely suck in football. It can change the course of everything, especially. Jeremiah Smith, he's the all-time leader in everything for Ohio State. He might leave without winning a single award, if this season doesn't finish the way it is. Blitnikov is not necessarily just a handout here. You know, all these types of awards aren't just a handout. He needs to continue to go, which we all know that he can. He's gonna be a great NFLer, but you lose a quarterback. That's a huge, huge swing of everything. Can Fahey continue to build for the Ohio State team as they go to the playoffs? Or is Ryan Day maybe gonna go to Tavion? Is that the other guy? - Tavion, think Claire, who was like the backup and then throughout, I guess, training camp and everything. Fahey just played so well that he played his way into the number two spots that they love what he can do and they still do and I, yeah, I don't know. I don't know, I don't think Fahey has like a short leash or anything like that. I think they trust him and they think he's the guy. - All right. Big 10, I mean, it's a scary time to be 10. - Reset it though, like if that kid is gonna be in the game then the entire team needs to play better than what they did against USC. Like he wasn't, you can make the argument. Wasn't really the biggest problem when it came to the game at USC, but yeah, they definitely can't be letting up 30 points with that kid at quarterback. - Swence for West Virginia. - It's not gonna be in a CFP. - Close though, throw. - No, first came out. - On the bubble. - I'll put it up. - RB front-toe front. Some nice, my change of life. Football's the greatest. Tonight's huge. Let's enjoy it all. The NBA, thank you. NHL, thank you. And thank you. - You. - Your work, AJ, way to get in there 'cause I kind of threw a little bit of fastball there. There's no way that you could have guessed that I was about to do a thank you. I got you there. See, I got you a little bit. - It's my delay, it's my delay. I was up. - Okay, yeah. I mean, I saw the finger up into the camera shot too. Couple of times you've had it below so we don't know if you're kind of doing yourself or if you're pointing at the crowd. But we do want to let the crowd know that they are the absolute best. And if it wasn't because of all of love, we wouldn't get to live the greatest and dumbest lives of all time. Thank you so much. We'll see you tomorrow. Be your friend, telephone, some nice, my change of life, we'll understand together. Team on me, team on three. Hey, good luck to the CFP. It's a big deal, but. Do luck walking in with your hats. Walking out with some bad attitudes, potentially. You guys are the greatest. One, two, three, team, goodbye!

FAQs

The CFP rankings provide insight into which teams are likely to make the playoff, who is on the bubble, and how voters evaluate wins, losses, and strength of schedule. This first ranking is especially important as it reflects the committee's initial assessment of the season's outcomes.

The committee members take off their hats as a symbolic act, representing a shift from public perception to private decision-making. They evaluate data such as wins, losses, schedule strength, and head-to-head results to determine playoff eligibility.

Ohio State's ranking will be closely watched, especially given their recent game where they had 11 penalties, a fumble, and allowed 30 points. The committee's evaluation of this performance will be key in determining their standing relative to other top teams.

Yes, head-to-head results are considered, but the committee will weigh them against other factors like strength of schedule and overall performance. Some members may question whether BYU’s win over Notre Dame is enough to elevate their ranking.

Undefeated teams are evaluated based on their strength of schedule, with Utah’s weak schedule (83rd in the nation) raising questions about their eligibility. UCLA and Miami face similar scrutiny due to their resumés and schedule difficulty.

The SEC is projected to have the most teams in the playoff due to its strong conference schedule and depth. This includes the potential for a three-loss SEC team to qualify, a shift from previous years.
