- Oh, right, 'cause I have some other bail, dude. - Screech up there. We're not gonna talk about Dustin Darden right now, dude. - Okay, okay. - You and Dustin Darden do have some things to comment on. - Yeah, you can say that again. - Let's go to one half of the hammer. Darden! - Cowboys, James Bond, I do believe. Good to see you, Dan. - Yeah, thank you. The opening scene of Spectre, the Immortal James Bond, played by Danny. Oh, look, it's perfect. Yeah, that's who I am. - I like it, you said, I need photo evidence. I really like it. Exactly what I am. Foxy, you need to pop that up as soon as I start talking about this thing. - Okay. - Yeah, you do. Look exactly like the same jawline and everything. - Thank you. - Yeah, no doubt. Hey, last night Packers Cover, that's good. Our boost doesn't hit yet again. Although we can take a sec on first to 10 from our own, 20 with 25 seconds left with no time out. Still in the game and the clock just runs and runs. Then we try a little annexation of Puerto Rico. Thought we were maybe gonna get on the last play, which we knew was possible. Instead, we don't, Bryce Young and the Panthers offense loses to this Packers defense. He's not able to hit 220 yards, even though Jordan Love surpassed it. Easily, Bryce Young going into this game. Second, most pass yards per game in the entire NFL. He had been able to spin it. A lot of his RPOs and quick shots and takes and everything like that had been working very well. And then the last two weeks, it's kind of slowed down. AP Ton, I'm sorry, James Bond, the one from that one particular scene and at that one particular time. - Thank you, kinda specific. How should we look at this weekend now with what happened last night? - Yeah, we were close. We were not close for a lot of the night. When Bryce had 53 yards at half, I thought we might be in trouble. But yeah, the last drive that we had, we had a chance to get over the 220 finish with 209, kinda disappointing on his part. It's also my fault as well. I was way too confident about the boost last night. But four and four on the season, we will get back in the lab for next Thursday and figure that one out as well. But no, so that's two straight weeks on Thursday night that the favorite has covered after not covering for 10 straight prime time games. Excuse me. So you know, maybe the tide is turning for favorites 'cause it's been a bit of a doggie year so far. - Yeah, maybe we're starting to learn who should be the favorites and who should be the dog. It's been a very fun week here at the spooky Draft King's Thunderdome. We'd like to say thank you to Zido for decorating this play. - Thank you. - Thank you. - Thank you for making this play so real. A lot of decorations, a lot of magic, a lot of time invested in this thing. I think the big pumpkin skeleton, awesome. - Yeah, sick. - So good. - Elephant getting decorated, sick. Dragon new one this year. I do believe. - Really? - I appreciate maybe. And I think what the hose is coming out of the back has a chance for some of the fire. A Frankenstein headless horseman. This one's brand new. Then we got a bunch of stuff across the green. We'd like to say we hope you are enjoying the holiday as much as we have in this Thunderdome the last couple of days. - It's been absolutely magnificent. All the decorations are just, you know, part not, you know, there, but I don't know what I was going to say there. Because the only thing, the only thing about dollars can you answer, dude. The only thing I can concentrate right now is this big sass watch looking submit. I walked by that earlier. It's big, it's position weird. It smells like shit. Can we get this thing out of here? (screaming) - What the hell is, get the hell out of here. - No, no, no, you get the hell. I'm gonna go kill everybody. - What? (laughing) - How did you go to hard? (laughing) - Dragon, it's right leg there a little bit. It might have a broken wheel. Did that thing find a microphone perfectly? After everything you had that one says, it's gonna go kill everybody. - Genius. - Wow. - Super smart cruel. - Thank God that thing didn't attack us. - Whoo! - Tried for us. That was scary when that day moved. - There's no way Zito put that in as a decoration. - I don't know. - Did someone sneak in here? - I don't know. I think it a thing did. - Yeah, they was here all last night. All this worry hasn't moved yet. - It's been a sketchy couple of days here. That would make sense if somebody would try to get in here. I mean, we got a better security right here. - Okay. - How's that thing sneak in, and we just go, yeah, a, okay. Ah. - Try to see put it in. - Yeah, you're right. - Who knows, let's pivot away from Halloween. Happy, we're okay. And be on the lookout out there for a mat. That thing was what, nine feet tall? - At least eight and a half, nine. - I thought you'd get scared, Hoaster. - Clip one of my wigs, dude. You know what happens if you lose one of these? Yeah, big game, coming to our cage. And not like Michael, you know, the John Travolta movie. You're not falling right back down to earth. You're going right to hell, dude. - That thing was trying to send you, heavenly Hoaster. All the way to hell. And now it's going out there to kill everybody. Wow, that's crazy. - It's your gun, Bill. - Joining us now, away from Halloween and from big, scary things about to go out into society and potentially kill 'em. He used the greatest college football coach ball time. I don't know if you got a chance to watch to dock up their heavenly Hoaster. I think it'll be-- - I did, magnificent. - Okay, Joker, would you have expected heavenly Hoaster to watch the Sabin dock, definitely, right? - Yeah, I assume so, but from the sounds of a dolly part and has been taking up a lot of his time. - Yeah, and I-- - We watched it together. (laughs) - I know, I doubt that. (laughs) Hopefully I'll get a chance to learn something. Seven-time national champion. - Whoo! - Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest college football coach ball time. Emmy Award winning. Television personality for college game day. And I assume his dock will win some as well. Coach Sabin. - Yay! Coach! - Let me do it. - How you doing, Coach? - Thank you, thank you. - So I only have one, I have a question for the Hoaster. - Okay. - Before we get started. - Yeah. - Do they have any Xanax up there where you are? - Do you need some home? - Well, you know what, dude, first of all, coach, from one goat to another, I just like to tip my cap to you. But if you watch my documentary, they basically said, you should've seen the kind of cocktail the Hoaster was on. (laughs) Nothing's slowing this guy down, brother. Say it X, you know, it's gonna take about 10 bullets to the forehead. - Yeah, well, we're not pulling for any of that. Coach Sabin, thank you for the motivation to Heavenly Hoaster. It's not just Hulk Hogan. This is the heavenly version of Hulk Hogan because Hulk Hogan's in heaven now. And that's what Heavenly Hoaster tells us. And he is kind of the king of it. Go ahead, what were you gonna do, Ty? - You're gonna say that in "Bomberle Snow" and "Dr. Murmob Dallas Clark." (laughs) That was rude, as soon. - Anyways, Coach, we appreciate you joining us. You're down there in Bloomington. The great state of Indiana is hosting college game day. You cannot wait to get down there. Your thoughts on this Indiana Hoosier's team, obviously, had a loss two weeks ago, close win last week. Now they're favored by 20 and a half points against Minnesota. Game day coming to town, a lot of eyes. How do you feel about where Coach Signetti and the Indiana Hoosiers are at this exact moment in time? - Well, I like Indiana's team. I mean, they have a really, really good defensive team. They've been able to get a lot of tackles for loss. They affect the quarterback, lots of sacks. Stopped the run pretty well. They've been able to get turnovers. So this is a really good Indiana defensive team. The last couple of weeks, they struggle a little bit on offense to score points. But I still think they have the right components in place. And you know, one thing that people don't talk about, which is really hard to manage as a coach is, you know, they've played how many games each week in a row, like seven or eight games. And without a by-week in there, without some time to give your players a little time to recover, sometimes that affects your performance a little bit. So coming out of a by-week, I look for them to really hit the next gear. - Josh Hoover, quarterback, comes in, trying to replace Fernando Mendoza. Fernando Mendoza won the Heisman, a national championship, had a perfect season. And was the number one overall pick in the NFL draft. For Hoover, has the ability, has the skill, Charlie Becker, obviously a great offensive weapon, marsh as well. How do we feel about where Hoover stands as his Indiana Hoosier career is in the middle of blossom right now? - Yeah, I think he's done a really good job for him. I don't think you can replace, you know, Fernando. I think you have to go do what you do and do it well. I think Nick Marsh has played well for him. Becker is a good receiver. Are they as explosive as they were a year ago? Probably not. But I think they have enough tools to be a really, really effective offensive team. And I like this team, man. I especially like them on defense. And, you know, I think Hoover is very capable. And I think they're good, consistent, efficient offensive team. And you know, Coach Sigg has always made it easy for the quarterback. You know, quarterback efficiency is something that he's known for. And I don't think it's any different right now. And I think you're going to see this offensive team kind of take off here towards the end of the year. - Okay, there was an Illinois game last year. Where Indiana basically got a chance to tell everybody how he'd done. A 50 piece to me was supposed to be really close. I'm not saying that's what this weekend feels like because how could you with this Minnesota squad? They just beat Iowa. I think we all liked Iowa. Coach PJ Fleck, master motivator, has been there for a long time. They have a chance to do something special as 20 point dogs with all eyes on Bloomington. Do they not in Minnesota? - Yeah, well, you know, Minnesota's another team that has a really, really good defensive team. They gave Iowa a tough time last week. They got four turnovers in the game. They stopped Iowa's running game pretty well. So anytime you can play a good defense to me and keep yourself in the game, that's the key to the drill in terms of giving yourself a chance to win in the end. So, and I think Minnesota's a team that can do that. But I think Indiana's going to start showing their true colors here and really start dominating people. - Not only huge game in the Big Ten, let's travel out to the West Coast.
coach James Bond has a question for you coach. Yeah coach, I do. USC is hosting a Ohio state and in a huge one this weekend for both programs. Obviously Julie insane is hurt. So we're going to see the backup quarterbacks for Ohio state. And then for USC Lincoln Riley needs a needs a signature win. You know, it's getting really, really loud over there. What are your thoughts on Ryan Dane? His game plan potentially for the new quarterback going into USC? I think the key to the drill is it's kind of high state maintain balance because the quarterback is effective enough to be able to get the ball to Jeremiah Smith and some of the other weapons they have and not just become one dimensional run, run, run, run where the other team can play an eight man front not respecting what the quarterback can do. I think if that's the case, you know, high state probably will struggle. But they have too many weapons outside not to be able to utilize them. And so I think that's going to be the key and it's going to be interesting to see how Ryan Dane Ohio state sort of, you know, manage this new quarterback situation and how this quarterback can utilize the other players on the team. Although I don't think this quarterback needs to win the game for him, he just needs to be efficient and effective enough not to lose it and make the kind of big time errors that will put you in the hole and you know, put your defense in the hole. So I think that I like Ohio state's team though they had a good offensive line. And I think this quarterback just needs to be efficient and effective enough to keep the other team honest on defense. I don't want to act like I could do it because I'm not ever that talented and never have been. But Jeremiah Smith, if we can protect him, from my understanding, this guy is good brain, even though he's very young and can spin it. If you just get it into what like a fourth Aquadron of the field, I think Jeremiah Smith is going to help you out there. And then if the offense line can get the run game going, I know it's a huge loss having saying, especially with the amount of experience he's had, but the way they're constructed, you would think they could be able to continue on the offensive side. I like them and they've already got their loss out of the way. You know, they've already got their loss out of the way mentally. Now, you talk about the quarterback situation in Ohio State, there was a bunch of those brewing. One of them seemingly simmered down a little bit. The Joker has a question for you coach. Yeah, coach, past talking about Texas in archmaning, you know, another huge rank to win at home for arch. And it's been much quieter this week because last week it was, hey, this guy's got a short leash. Let's see what happens, you know, in the first half, first quarter, even. Is that conversation over? Do you think he's kind of quelled that in the backup QB and getting bench and giving that guy some time? You think that's over or how does that kind of work with Sark going forward with arch? Is it still, hey, short leash? If we have another bad game, bad half even, we're going to have to give it a backup. Some looks. Well, you know, I think that's up to arch. You know, I think Sark made it very clear when he had a meeting with arch and said to him, look, we can't win with this guy. You know, this guy that's playing like he played in a couple of games, we can't win with that guy. And it's always a tough decision for a coach to make a change like that when you have, you know, a high profile player who's very capable and as shown at times, he's very capable, but at the same time, I think if arch doesn't continue to play with consistency and Sark's going to keep it in the bag, you know, I always say, you know, the bench is a pretty good motivator, especially if a guy's a great competitor, which I think arch is. So the threat that he may not be entitled to the job, maybe something that motivates him and keeps him motivated through the rest of the season, because it's going to be important that Texas went out to be able to do that and he's going to have to play well for them to be able to do it. It would be crazy if arch running was bench, which is why it was such a loud conversation last week when it was potentially on the table for Texas. And you've talked before about the bench being a good motivator, extra competitions, a good motivator in your relevancy, you know, a chance of being just remembered in a negative light is certainly a motivator as well. Love that archmaning showed up and played his best game. He's played in some time. I think that tells us a lot about him. Now, we were out in the big 12 country to last two weeks for college game day. They got a lot of teams. Go ahead, Hulkster. Yeah, coach, you know, with those two weeks, you know, the conversation kind of changed from big Ted SEC today is the big 12 going to kind of crash the party here, get multiple teams in. Well, obviously, you know, they kind of cannibalize themselves a bunch of their higher ranked teams, get beat by on rack teams. Do you think we're back to, you know, the, the big 12 maybe be it like a one bid league? Or do you still think this is as strong as, you know, the big Ted or the SEC? It's just going to take a couple weeks. And that now the cream might rise to the crop, dude. Well, I think that when you look at the SEC, for example, and I know that everybody thinks I'm an SEC home or but the one and two lost teams, they have 10 more losses coming up between them because they're all going to play each other. So you're talking about cannibal Oz and, you know, some teams, that's going to happen in the SEC, for sure. It could happen in the big 12, although I do think there's three or four teams in the big 12 Utah, BYU. I don't know about Texas Tech, you know, they didn't look so good last week against Cincinnati. I think Arizona, you know, might be a team. So they've got some really, really good teams. And I think whoever hits the second year now at this point in the season can finish. You know, who can prove that they can finish? You know, finish games, finish plays, play well in the fourth quarter. You know, I mean, we're talking about Texas. They haven't done that. They've been ahead 14 points. They were ahead 21 points last week. They let the other team come back. We've got to be able to finish, man. And it takes some maturity and mental toughness to be able to do that. And that's going to be the key to the drill in the big 12 to me. Which one of these teams can step up and finish at the end of the season? There's a team that's kind of lurking in the big 10. And we talked about this morning. I think we've all talked about it. Who's the next Indiana that pops up out of nowhere? I mean, obviously, Northwestern's been in that conversation. UCLA, though, hey, what Bob Chesney's been able to do, is that not something that is very special, especially for a storied traditional program like UCLA. If he could showcase it, this is just like signati at Indiana, basketball place, just like UCLA, basketball place. If you can show that you can have success, I think there's a lot of money that can potentially get invested into your program if you're able to do that. Feels like Bob Chesney's already done that. And his first year out there, is that a you feel coach? And what are your thoughts on how he's been able to do it? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, they were able to run the ball. They've shown good balance. I mean, they lost their quarterback. They overcame it. The guy coming in has been effective enough. You know, for them, they play good defense. And they seem like one of those teams that just has the right kind of chemistry between the coach, the player, how they're going about their season, not necessarily playing toward the level of the competition, but the plan to their standard, which, you know, not very many teams have been able to do that this year. So I think that's a real plus for UCLA and the kind of success that they're capable of having. A lot of states out at USC this weekend out there in LA. Sell out. Yeah, it is. Look out. Is that Buckeyes fans? Oh, yep. Does UCLA, you know, if you, USC obviously Lincoln Raleigh always going to have the talent, always going to have the story. Always have the name. But if UCLA gets hot, I don't want to say LA is a place that says like, Oh, this seems like a good time. Let's go ahead and do that. But it does feel like it's kind of a, Hey, this seems like a good time. I'll be excited to see what their program can become. The more schools that get greater football, the more we love. Hey, coach, we appreciate you so much. Happy early birthday. Happy birthday. I appreciate it. Always a joy and you guys are having a heck of a time on Halloween. It's fun to watch. Hey, thank you. Coach, as are you. I like to you dressed up like the greatest coach for Paul coach Volta. He's your gentleman. Go save it. I do like good Halloween conversation with people and as they have to answer actual questions, you know, like, I mean, James Bond over here asked Coach Saban a question. Coach Saban doesn't bat an eye, doesn't say like, wow, this is ridiculous that this is coming from this particular face. Instead, he just answers the question exactly how you would help that he would do. I a little bit of commotion here. Oh, wow. What? Yep. Yeah. That's a. Oh my god. Is that the. That's AJ Hawke. What the hell go do here? What's that? Do that? Well, I know. Okay. Okay. Okay. What, uh, new rug, gorilla rug. Rest rest and piss, I guess, guys. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's right. Rest and piss, uh, abominable survey, whatever that was exactly. AJ, I did. Good to be lazy. Gentlemen, coach, football, as with James liberal champion. Right. I put her big foot hunter. Mm-hmm. AJ Hawke. Yeah. Yeah. Hawke. Who? Hey, thank you. What? Rough morning. Covered in blood. Yeah. Covered in blood. Sweaty out of breath. Yeah. All right. So what happened? I was watching a program, you know, on the attic in Ohio. And now I saw this giant monster. When you guys were, uh, you had like the wide shut. I saw this thing moving. I'm like, that thing. You stop moving. We didn't go on in there. Something going on. He may not be able to see or hear to know when to come up. But I think it was like it is moving. I think I was staging or the whole time. I felt like it was weird. So yeah. So I just ran down the stairs. You know, obviously I got a little bit of a battle out here in the front, you know, front, Monty was trying to take a bite out of Connor's car. Gee. We put him down. Well, you're used to kill him, dude. You're right. Well, right here. Well, yeah. I hit that guy in the head. Uh, 72 times, I believe. Yeah. Wow. I got a lot of blood on you. I don't see many, uh, well, because it's all internal bleeding for him. You know, as a client, no, I couldn't, you know, what kind of thick that skin is. I couldn't, like, cut the kill. But so what?
- This is all your own blood that we're seeing. - Yeah, a lot of my own blood. A little bit of his mouth, you can't see right there. I didn't want the kids to get scared. - Happy Halloween, AJ. - Happy Halloween. I'm very sweaty. - It's good. - It's a good battle. - Thank you for saving the world like that. - You're welcome, thank you. Honestly, no one was kind of fun. I like adversity. - Some people have one Halloween costume. Some people have a full play with two of them. And I wanna let you know. I appreciate those people more than you could back in. - Holy. - AJ, you said you saw this and said, "I gotta go save these guys." Especially when you watched it, find a microphone perfectly. Found a microphone. - We had seen it on camera like that. I was watching a magnetic. - Oh, yeah. - And then you got here from Columbus. Look at how fast this thing was. It kind of had a bum right leg. When you met up with a busted right wheel, whenever you got to it. - You did a little bit. I went after that. I saw that right knee. I didn't have cartilage in that sucker. I went after that, that's how I got him down. Yeah. - Thank you for saving society. Joining us now, ladies and gentlemen. Perfect time to do this. The main is the host, not the host. Well, I'm sure you host a radio show down there in Bloomington. He's the coach. Thank you for saving all of us. - Oh, that was huge. - Yeah, thank you. - You're welcome. - Feels like there's a lot of blood. - Yeah. - Feels like they have a lot of blood. - I think he makes sucker, dude. - Is this thing in heaven? - No, no, no, no. That thing's going well, he might be a purgatory right now, but guess what? If his documents come across a holster's desk, he's got an express ticket to hell, brother. - Okay, I understand, and we appreciate that 'cause you're looking out for society. AJ, thanks for putting on a full hunting costume and running directly to Indiana three hours away to save our lives. You're a hero. Speaking of hero, Amanda changed the culture of an entire state university. Ladies and gentlemen, he's running defending undisputed national champion head coach of the Indiana Hoosier football team. Coach Signetting! (audience cheering) - Happy Halloween, coach. Happy Halloween. - Happy Halloween. You guys are having too much fun over there, man. Yeah, I don't know if you saw this. AJ ran in from Columbus, Ohio, and he killed this bomb, it was so, man, that found a microphone earlier in the show and said he was going to kill everybody. So I do think we kind of need to say thank you to AJ for saving all of our lives here in the state of Indiana, coach. - Thank you. (audience clapping) - Oh, question, you saved a lot of our lives as football fans here in the state of Indiana. You brought a lot of Hoosiers out of a dormant fanhood, I think, and you've got a chance to experience that and feel that. You guys get to the mountains off, the expectation is this. You continue to win, then you lose your first game. I know it's not your last game, but you did lose your first game. Everybody talks about how the players are going to react to losing the first time in 22 games or whatever. How did you handle the loss? Because Coach Saban has come out and said, "There's sometimes we need it a loss." And I don't think anybody will ever say we need it a loss, but how did you react immediately to the loss and then the night after first loss in like two years? - Well, I mean, Saturday night, you know, I told the team in the locker room, you know, we had a lot of opportunities to win that game. We kind of lost it on our own by the missed opportunities, but that nobody died here and all of our goals are attainable, except we can't go undefeated. And, you know, Saturday night was a little bit of rough night because it's been a long time since we lost. But I woke up Sunday morning realizing, you know, we were right there. You know, it's not like we didn't pull it off 'cause we weren't capable. And, you know, we were four inches away, really. I mean, on that last play, which was kind of a layup, but didn't have to go down to that last play. But, you know, we bounced back up at Michigan. You think about it, you win 22 in a row, lose the high state, and then have to go to Michigan and bounce back, you know, the next week. And found a way to get that done. So, looking forward to the homecoming game this week against Minnesota, good football team, beat three ranked teams. You know, when they played three of the teams, they beat were ranked at a five and two, and we're gonna play well. - Yeah, that's so, on that note, you guys are favored by 20 and a half. You don't view that coach fleck doesn't view that. He just beat Iowa. Iowa was supposed to have the year that they were supposed to have. So, I think sportsbooks, not respecting the Minnesota Gofers as much as all of us will be whenever we're speaking about this particular game. For you, are you constantly comparing this team to last year or the progress of this team to last year's team because last year's team got to the mountaintop. So, you have something to judge it off of. Are you viewing this team as like its own organism? Like, we're on our own journey here and we don't have to be great 'til the end. - Well, this team's definitely its own organism and own journey. And I think you learn about this team every week. There are comparisons you make at times. We haven't scored a ton of points offensively here. The last couple of weeks, and you kinda compared at times the last year's team and maybe look at some tape, those types of things. But I like the way this team is really coming together. Developing leadership, our defense is playing extremely well, our teams have been solid. And now we just gotta get it going again on offense, which I think we will. I think Josh has had a good week of practice and I expect him to play really well. And that's where it all begins offensively with any teams at the quarterback position. - On that note about Josh and the entire offense. Go ahead, Joker. - Yeah, Coach, to your point, it feels like the by-week kinda came at a perfect time for you. How big was the self scout and was there any, you know, big changes or was it more, you know, polishing up the stuff that you guys know you can do better? - Probably be able to answer that one at the end of next week because this is our ninth straight game without a buy. And our by-week's next week. - Yeah, come on, Coach. - That's right. - Coming up. - That's all right. - You know, it's Halloween. - Oh, let's talk about Josh Hoover, those development here. Let's talk about Josh Hoover's development and work on the offensive side. Where do you see him like striving? What do you see him thriving? What do you see some things that you're excited about what he can become? 'Cause I know that he's banged up a little bit as well. I believe he's banged up. But how have you seen his development and his work? - Yeah, I think that, you know, going into a high state, he was like 16 touchdown passes, no interceptions. Made some nice plays in that game, but we left some play out on two main plays out on the field that are makeable plays. You know, last week is a hard gauge 'cause, you know, he was a little bit banged up coming out of the game. And, you know, it was a different kind of game we had to just get through it. And fortunately, our defense played great and we came alive offensively and over time and got through the game. So, you know, I'm looking for him to get back on track this week. Kids have a lot of confidence in him. And, you know, I do too. - Okay, we love the way you've been able to kind of reimagine college football. Everybody's trying to become you. Okay, there's some other teams popping up going crazy. You are now the modern era. This is what can happen, not only to a football team, but to a university, to an entire state. So, everybody's studying your every single move. Your practice habits and schedule has certainly been a topic of discussion around all of ball. AJ Hawk, the hunter has a question for you. - Yeah, Coach, obviously we've heard a lot about your guys' practice schedule, how you're on and off the field. You don't waste your players' time as well as your assistant coaches too. I'm sure all of them appreciate it. Is that something that's always been what you have done as a coach or who did you learn that from? And like, is it ever a pressure to say, hey, we might need to be out here for three hours today. - Yeah, you know, I think that probably began, as soon as I got my first head coach in job at IUP 'cause we didn't have the numbers or the depth and we couldn't get afford to get guys hurt. And continued on to Elon where we were in the same situation. And by that point, you know, we're having a lot of success and we never changed it. I don't never feel the pressure to be on the field three hours. I don't think you need to be. It works for us and, you know, we're still looking for ways to improve every single day, but I don't think more equals more all the time. - Well, I think your players probably appreciate the hell of that, especially if you're gonna have a 16 game season or a 17 game season going forward, whatever it ends up being down the road, whenever football is most important, and you're still having juice in the legs, your boys will appreciate. Now, there's other people from JMU who are having massive success at a basketball school. Heavenly Hulkster has a question for you. - Yeah, coach, how difficult is it when you see, you know, just in the Big Ten in general? I mean, Pat mentioned it, you know, you guys are caught in the model right now, but you see teams like UCLA and Northwestern, who have been door mats forever. Well, maybe not UCLA, but you know, it's been about 60 years, long time. And they're popping up at all of a sudden, you know, they're at the top 10, they're at the top of, hey, this might be the next Indiana. Is that kind of just how we have to view the Big Ten and some of these other power conferences now is, hey, at any point, these teams can just kind of decide if they get the right people involved. Hey, we're gonna go all in and we're gonna turn ourselves into a great football school. - Yeah, I mean, yeah, I don't think they wanna be viewed as the next Indiana, but I think that's the landscape of college football today that, you know, things can change real fast. You look at Northwestern, they certainly have some really good years under Pat Fitzgerald. - Definitely do. - Not too long ago. And I knew they were really good football team when we played them. I thought Nebraska was a really good football team when we played them. They were 5 and 0, played them at home, it was hot, loud. They said it's never been there in a long time. But UCLA's doing a great job too with Bob Chesney, who succeeded me at JMU. I actually recommended him for that job. I didn't know him, but respected what he had done at the D2 level, the assumption, and convinced Jeff Born to talk to him. And he's doing a great job out there as well. The guy Kentucky's doing a tremendous job. So, you know, you see that and I'm not surprised by it. - And whenever you showcase a little bit of success, I think you've experienced this. The alumni is excited to help out. If you can show that you can win. And like, hey, this is a good job.
good investment of our time, energy, and finances. That can continue. But if you don't, that thing disappears. You know that. I think it's good as anybody, right at this point. - There's no question about it. Success can be very temporary, but you keep it going. You have success in football, floats all boats, and a lot of people want to be involved, and I'm waiting for you to get involved. - Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I got another team I've been helping. - We got a big, big 12 to go with that entire thing. We got to do that, but I've loved watching what you've done for IU, 'cause we live amongst so many Hoosiers. My wife's family, Indiana University family, so it's like a recipes father-in-law. He was a massive Hoosier fan. It's like his mind would be blown right now. The Indian Hoosier football team won 22 straight. Then they lost anyone again in their back, and it would be such an absurd thing to think of three years ago, four years ago, whenever you walked into that gym and started saying everybody sucks, and that you guys are gonna win it all. It's crazy what you've been able to accomplish for this state, and we're all very, very appreciative of that coach. Very, very. - Well, I appreciate that. The key is to keep it going. - Yeah, he damn right. I guess success is temporary. He was just coaching himself and his players in real time, letting us know how he absolutely thinks. Your defense, though, has not been temporary. This thing's been very consistent. James Bond has a question for you. - Yeah, coach, under Brian Haynes, I believe last year you were number two in the country in SACS right now, your number four in the country in SACS, leading the big 10. And you were asked how to stop Jeremiah Smith, and you said, "We gotta hit the quarterback." Is that the main focus of the defense? Is that what you focus on every year? Is that the best way to start building your defense? - Well, we do focus on playing on their side line scrimmage. That's a foundational belief of our defense, creating TFLs and SACS, and we've been good at it really every year, since about 19, 2019. Corey Heatherman had the defense of first three, and then Bryant took it over, and really took it to another level. So, and when I look at our defense the last two years, I think both years, we came out of the open, not feeling too great about the way we played, but gradually every week, by the time you were ready to play the real meaningful games, we were playing our best football. So, we're playing really good right now, that all starts up front, and but we're gonna play really well tomorrow, 'cause I think Minnesota's good football team. Yes they are, Coach PJ Fletch has the boys rolling. They're not on the feet of it, but they've got some big wins this year, Indiana. Back on track, can't wait for tomorrow morning, college game day, nine a.m. Eastern, down there in Bloomington, should be exciting. You're the best coach, thank you for joining us. - Thank you, Pat. See you guys. - Please join us, Coach Shignade. - Yeah, coach, thank you, dude. - What do you think he was thinking as Hulkster was asking him a question there, Hulkster? - Once again, you know, we've been lucky enough that saving on me, we got a buddy goat right here. I think you just, you know, goats respect goats, you know what I mean? So, I think he's just kinda, I don't wanna say eating out of the pole in my hand, but he's just like, man, everything's gotta say it. It's just so succinct, so perfect, so right, you know, right on, that he-- - That's really what's happening, you think? - Yeah, I guess, and you heard him, you know, how else are we gonna get that beautiful little tidbit, little nugget, they didn't even know Bob Chesney. He didn't even know, and he just said-- - He didn't even know that he heard him? - No way, yeah, he basically wouldn't know he didn't know the guy, but he said, you know what, some about this guy. There's some about this guy. Hardest guy. J. Have you heard him? He goes, you silly. He might be one of the next dudes. He's fucking burning boats, all that kind of stuff. So, yeah, I think, you know, to kinda put a picture wrap on that and that's what Bob. I think Coach just respect goats, brother. - Have you ever pointed somebody and said, I don't know him, but I think he'd be really good and kind of give him the rub, is that ever happened for me? - It's tough because you look and listen, we don't got enough time to get into this state of the WWE right now. My friend, okay. And actually, well, sure, you know, Roman obviously, but what I wanted to say is, you know, Ted Per, obviously, he's the one who kind of enabled me and Nash at Hall to run so hot in LA and all those other arenas when we were the hot to show tap. I was talking to him, you know, be all the pearly goats and I basically just said, it's price horse shit, dude. It is, you know, I mean, get choked up, leave that. - Really? Are you okay, is it? - What's going on? - The business, the industry. - I created this business, dude. And people say, you know, like, King Kong Buddy. You know, some of these other guys. And we gave you shit about King Kong Buddy until the holster came around, dude. And I know the marks are gonna get all worked up and it's dizzy. They are, they're gonna say, what about this guy? What about this guy? What about this guy? There is no this guy, or this guy, or that guy, without the holster, dude. You believe that, man, I can watch this all day. I can watch this all freaking day long, brother. But yeah, me and Ted Per were basically saying, you remember when I was body slapping the giant at media? - Andre. - Yeah, exactly, Andre, I mean, I call the giant 'cause I'm very close to them. And now at media, you know, we got this bullshit sin city street fights, crap, five, five, four guys. - Whoa! - Be a little like there's some big, big heavy weights. It's got five four. The holster would take his index finger and his thumb and pop their head like a fucking in dude. Okay, not Damien Priest. Not Damien Priest. I respect Punishment Martinez. Okay, let's go, let's get that out of the way right now. - The archer of infamy. The archer of infamy, yes. But are you watching the next premium life event? - No, I'm not. - What? - And let me tell you something else that the holster's not exactly happy about. - Where's media next year, dude? - And I hear, I hear Frodo laughing over there. I don't think any of us has seen what happened last night with Christian Wanson He described it as if he was a kid whenever he was watching WWE raw or Smackdown exits the stadium Lambo full pads no helmet in an ambulance do any team representative of driving over no the EMT say we got him It's the safest place to be we'll put the lights on we'll do it in entirety We'll get him over there We'll get a test or a scan to see if his lung had been punctured after a rib had been cracked He had coughed up or spit up blood a little bit There being extra precautions on what could potentially be then he returned back and all of a sudden the cameras on Amazon Who've done a great job broadcasting Thursday night football has fallen him out to a rousing ovation in a Lambo field that man was in an ambulance in a hospital in a scan room back into a ambulance back on to a field of play on Thursday night football And that's week eight of the NFL season kicking off on Thursday night We have a college football national champion Super Bowl champion rider cup winner hunter two avid hunter killed in the Bomminal snowman or a Sasquatch or a big ass monkey looking thing that came in here earlier and said it was going to go kill everybody This man took it out with his bare damn hands ladies Jim and H.A. Hawke Thank you for doing that for us age. Thank you. It felt good to to read this thing of of the earth We know we we can't live with this thing around but going back to Christian Watson ready. Yeah, first off Is he is Green Bay have the cleanest like under under stadium area of all time in the most pristine situation We have the tunnels, but is he getting out of the shotgun here or seeing the back? I think that was the side door of the back. Okay. I know a lot of people thought he was riding shotgun Maybe which would have been sweet full-pad shotgun run to the streets of Green Bay to the game on the way back How far's hospital from where they were not for everything's like less than 10 minutes And why did we take the ambulance you think just because they were worried it was there and on the way back a team Vehicle couldn't have done that or the ambulance EMT is like you know what we got let's get you back to where with the light so We could have this you know so you can put the lights on you don't need a cop then I guess for for the S-corts But yeah, I guess what you super clean though to your point. Look at everything super clean here And that's what Green Bay is like everything is pristine That looks really nice back. Yeah Nate weird joins him right here in trainer look at him. Nate's Nate's very light on his feet. He gets a lot of good FaceTime trainer Okay, I like that you like that. He got that. I'm sure he got text messages from a thousand people about this jog back into a stadium in the middle of the third quarter So still a lot of time left to play some football 27-10 at that point little we know it would be over Panthers would try to make a run back at it and inevitably it would end with 25 seconds on the clock
them first and 10 and get sacked on the first play can't happen. What did you see from the green Bay Packers defense? I got you excited. Is it the sacks? Is it the pressure? Is it just the way they've been able to handle? Bryce Young going into the game. Second highest passer in the entire NFL average in 285 a game. What under 220 last night in heartbreaking fashion for our boost. But I guess a blessing for the Packers defense. Yeah, I think this Packers defense continues to get better and better. And that's obviously without Micah in the lineup. Yeah, I think they had six sacks. Obviously had more pressures throughout the night. I think made Bryce kind of uncomfortable, which is what your goal always is. And just look at like the relentless effort. And it's good to see Lucas Banness stepping up. I think he has one and a half sacks on the year. The fans are very excited about that. But it's it's always next man up when it comes to this green Bay defense. And I'm impressed. Let's go to the toxic table, Joker. You giving up on the Carolina Panthers. Two losses, sitting at three and four. Still very much in in the NFC South. Did you see anything last night that scares you, Joker? Yeah, I mean, some things that it feels like their defense isn't too great. But they're also banged up. That's what's tough. You got to be healthy at the right time. And definitely not out on them whatsoever. I mean, you go eight and nine in that division and probably still end up winning it, especially where all the teams are at right now. But now they can run the football. I mean, Chuba Hubbard's unbelievable. It feels like he's kind of had a resurgence last year. It was all rego doubted. But now this year kind of Chuba has come back kind of taking that job over. And then Tammic Millen and in Jalen, Joker, they're great. So I'm not worried about the Panthers just yet. They fired their DC this morning after what happened last night. Chuck Pagano talked about it yesterday. And most amount of 200 yard rushers giving up and since he's become the DC down there. They were talking about a Giro Evro becoming a head coach out of his time out of Denver. He goes down to Carolina. We thought he was going to be a part of the rebuild. Instead, they move on. Is that because they were embarrassed by what the Packers offense was able to do last night or is it kind of the tale of the entire time when he was down there? Let's go to Heavenly Hulkster. Heavenly Hulkster, your thoughts on the Green Bay Packers Thursday night causing change down in Carolina. Yeah, unfortunately, I think he was just kind of a sacrificial lamb, dude. Joker mentioned, they're bagged up, but while I tell you that, Jordan Love, he's something else, man. He is something else. I can't run the football. I think he's accounted for 82% of their offense this year. And I'll be honest with you, he really reminds me a lot of my dude, JVB James Vanderbeek. Yep. So just a little aside here, little story. James Vanderbeek. We may know of his Johnny Moxon from Varsley Blows. We play catch every Tuesday. He told me actually just the other day, he said, Hulkster, listen, I knew you ran the best bang eight in the business, but I didn't know that you had a non-route that was better than tweeters. He said that. He said that. He said, oh yeah, he said you run a better non-route than Scott Khan that Charlie tweeter ever could, but I mean, you know, hey, so it's just one of those things where that's the thing about Jordan Love, he could sling it and he has to. That's kind of unfortunate. He's going to have to, we said all day yesterday, you know, Coach Pagato is up here whaxing and whining about, hey, they got to establish the run. They got to establish the run. I think Josh Jacobs had like 21 carries for like 34 yards, that ain't going to get the job done. And it really does concern you go to get some really tough, physical, good defenses, but this is what his Packers team is, man. Do you think they gave him vitamins, Christian Watson, it is at the hospital. How do you think he was able to return in the fashion that he was? That was pretty WFWWS. No doubt. I think he is a hulk of media. He said that. Obviously, I don't know if you heard that, but he definitely isn't the type of part of it. I didn't hear that. No, I said he is. He's not the type of Mark relaxable shit that's going on now, the WWE. He was, he was watching a bunch of Hulkster YouTube videos and stuff like that. And I think that he said, I felt like I was watching a WWE SmackDown verse raw or something out there seeing the cameras catching me coming out of the ambulance. I didn't hear him say anything about Hulk. Nothing, nothing. He was like, I'm not sure if he was going to be a Hulk or a WWE, but I think that just said, hey, Christian, need you to hulk up. Need you to go full Hulk. And he does. He comes back in, he plays after breaking like eight ribs and basically having like a rib. I think puncture, one of his like lungs or like a pancreas or maybe what breath through his liver. Didn't matter they pulled that out. They could not afford to lose any other pieces on offense, especially the guys who were involved in the past game. And then the other big thing is Tucker craft showed up last night. They've expected him to kind of do that all year. He looks really good. He actually tore his ACL last year. I guess, cared a lot of panthers. So I think this was kind of a sweet moat for him and that throw, man, just beautiful from J love. Looking like Johnny Mox in his prime firing that thing at the end. Six catches, 52 yards and a tug for Tucker craft as a maybe get the skeletons out of the mind game against Carolina Panthers. Speaking of skeletons, let's go to one half of the hammer down Cowboys. James Bond from the first scene of dawn of the day. Yes, back to your day loose where to thank you, Hulk. Thank you. No problem, Jim. James Bond under hits Packers cover or boost doesn't hit. What else should we take away from last night? Dailed it. Yeah, the under did hit thanks to trace Mac missing that extra point and then the panthers going for two there at the end or would have been really, really close. Packers fans are dealing those ups and downs. Yeah, there's a lot of people who like points in every single game, hoping for good time. Yeah, that extra point does care a lot of panthers got to go for two. I don't know. Go ahead, Jim. No problem at all. Tell you what though, you guys are talking about it. Like the packers not being able to run the ball at all. They're offensive line being on their 18th offensive line. Yeah, sucks. They got a tackle playing center. Jordan love might be MVP. Yes, yes, he's carrying the offense and there and yes, the defense is incredible. And it's only going to get better when Mike comes back and what gain it is doing. I mean, that guy can call the defense. That's why it was a head coach for a bit. But no, what Jordan love is doing not by himself, but he's got all the weapons around him. And he is facilitating it, he is definitely, he's definitely in the conversation for MVP. 81.7% of the yards are through passes with Jordan love this year for the Green Bay Packers who are currently sitting five and three Jordan loves MVP odds, 25 to one right now, okay? 25 to one. If the packers were to go and win it all, he would certainly be in a conversation. Can you win it all without a run game? We don't think so. We don't think it's possible to be able to do that, but maybe Jordan and this LaFour offense are able to figure that out without getting the defense has been agent. I mean, you got to have some semblance of a run game, I think, I think that it's possible to figure that out through when you can throw the ball as well as you can't, hopefully you can somehow work that in schematically to figure out like, let's break a couple explosive runs just to keep the defense honest, but yeah, as the season goes, especially if you want to make a run the playoffs, I think you have to be able to run. I'll ask you guys this, you brothers, do you think it's mitigated a little bit when you lead the NFL in takeaways? Like, their red zone offense had been really bad, I think, 29th in the NFL up until last night. They scored every single time there in the red zone last night, dude. So if you're taking away the ball a bunch and you're converting all those, you know, red zone, and again, keep it kicking field goals because the field goal kicker, you got fuck sucks, can't make them. But if you're scoring touchdowns and creating takeaways, do you think that kind of mitigates having a shitty run game? So this is just like, hucking up threes, something it's going to stop. Well, exactly. Exactly. You have to rely on the fundamentals. The fundamentals are running the ball, make it kicks. That's fundamentals. You need to rely on those. We ain't making kicks, dude. Well, you don't know that. Have we heard any news out of Green Bay about the kicking position because last week after seven missed kicks and seven weeks, they said we are sticking with them. Now, another miss kick, first one out the gate, extra point. Yeah. Is there been any news? Well, I defer to you. I mean, no, there has not been any news. But we basically said, hey, this guy can't miss another kick. He misses his first extra point. And it ends up being one of those, he makes that guess like that. The Packer should have beat the shit out of these guys. They lost the turnover battle. We're very sloppy, but they, they should have killed them. They really should have. And the only reason it was a one possession game late was because this guy missed that extra point. So I mean, I'll defer to you. I know there isn't just abundance of great kickers out there, but it's, I think it's pretty safe to say at this point, dude. You can't trust this guy. Am I wrong in saying that, brother? I know you as a Packer's van, don't trust him at all. It sounds like-- But just in the NFL general, OK? No, you would normally see a move on. Did they drag what pick did they use? He was a six round pick. OK, so you use a six round pick on a kicker. Six round pick is what it is. But anytime you invest a pick in a kicker, they're going to want him to have success. Punner as well. I mean, I was picked 222. Bill Poin definitely wanted me to have success over the six other guys that they had at one point that were punting there because they chose to invest a pick in me. So it's a lot of, we were right. We were right happening. And also, there's a chance that he's going through a little quick little slump and he's able to get out of it. So whenever he announces publicly, we're sticking with him, but the entire world was telling him. That to me was indication of like, hey, this guy misses another kick, there's going to be a conversation. I assume that's going to happen. I just-- you can't miss that many kicks in the NFL, especially when you're in the NFC North with how tight everything is and how close every single game is. I'm not saying smack won't be a great kicker in the NFL. He's got a big leg. There's no question about that. He's got just like you. No. He's got a big leg. He's got 26 inch bifons, brother. But you said like quick little slump, I mean, this is dating back to Atlanta. This is like a five week thing, which, again, this is the NFL, okay. And this isn't some dormat dog shit team. You mentioned it. That's a tight division. You need the points. You need one point. You need three points. You certainly, certainly cannot be missed in 25 yard field goals.
I think it was 35 yards, but I understand what you're saying. - Yeah, no, no, no, he missed a 35 yard one, too. And then the 25 yard one. - And then a 33 yard one. - Look at Hoaxter could have kicked one with his third leg out there and made it from 25 yards. Kid, dude, it every week. Thank you, Jim. - Jim Bond, phenomenal job out there. - Thank you. - I'm a company off guard whenever he called you, Jim, earlier that that was quite a nice little surprise from having we Hoaxter there. Okay, let's move off the Packers and Panthers. Let's move some other stories around the NFL. Huge trades have obviously happened as the Indianapolis Coats become fire sellers. Quentin Nelson has spoke for the first time since joining the Seattle Seahawks. He breaks down how we got to this and what he knew when. - I met with Ed the day before the trade. And he told me that there were fielding calls and there were a few teams interested. One of them being Seattle, but he said like, how do I feel about it? And I was like, you know, that's what you guys got to do. Then grade and I was happy when he called me in the next day and told me it's Seattle. - Okay, so he said I was happy to hear with Seattle. Kind of a no-win situation there for Quentin Nelson. Are you happy you got traded away from the city in which you built your family and have a home and everything like that? He can't just openly say, yes, I'm happy. You bury a lot of bridges here in Indianapolis and I think you did care about the coats. We really enjoyed Quentin Nelson as a coat. But being happy about being Seahawks, he's immediately in super bowl conversation. In this guy with the talent that he has and the resume that he has, he runs a couple of super bowls. You're gonna be talking about goat type combo with Quentin Nelson. Adrian, how do you think this has all been handled for Quentin Nelson? And what do you think his mindset is as he tries to get comfortable in a new building, new city, new team, new system? - I mean, I think I said yesterday, like it's probably a little bit bittersweet and he can tell from that presser, like he doesn't seem overly excited about. I'm sure he's still trying to get used to the fact that he's not gonna be an Indianapolis coat and that he's already in the Seahawks building and you know, practicing with them. It's gonna take a little bit of time. I'm sure it'll be weird going out there to warm up for the first time Sunday as a Seahawk, but you're right. I think of the alternative. Hey, you went from a team that's definitely not going to the playoffs most likely, the Indianapolis Colts. - Hey, don't tell a call set. - To the defending Super Bowl champs that could absolutely make another run. So you have to be, I get excited for guys like this that the people that I feel for sometimes, it happens every once in a while when you go from a contender to an absolute scrub that has no chance. Can you imagine being that guy being a solid player on a team that is pretty good in all of a sudden, it usually happens in the off season, but you get moved on and you go to a team that sticks, like that would be really difficult. - Yeah, Miles Garrett's with the Rams there, obviously below 500 and Browns are in lead in AFC North, good call there, Joker, they're in the current situation, but we can't stay with the Cleveland Browns. There has been players that have been traded to Cleveland Browns in the past, not this Browns, the Browns in the past, where we all thought he was literally a team punishing them. I think it happened with New England. Jamie? - Jamie Collins, yeah. - Jamie Collins was his name. He jumped over our long snap, and blocked, almost caught the extra point off if he scared the hell out of me. I mean, one of the greatest athletes has an incredible season happening out there is contract situation brewing, and allegedly the story goes, he said something in a team meeting in front of everybody about figuring out who gets paid, and then the next day it gets traded from the Patriots to the Cleveland Browns. And, you know, hey, this is just good sound business, this is gonna happen. Everybody was like, that was a punishment by the New England. He ends up going back to the Patriots, I think, inevitably later, but you're right. There are some situations where you, hey, be careful what you wish for, pal, especially if you're requesting a trade. There's been some combos now. Anthony Richardson requested a trade because he wasn't gonna be the starter. We don't know if he's gonna get playing time. The coaches here at the Colts who still have 10 games left this season, okay? - A lot of games. - We have 10 games left. Said they still believe in Daniel Jones. He has the ability to be able to be Daniel Jones. And a lot of people on the internet who are big fans or big believers are saying, how come Anthony Richardson can't get a shake? How come Anthony Richardson can't get a shake? He's been very professional. He has requested a trade. Josh Downs now has requested a trade. So you got a team that still has 10 games left. Multiple players have requested a trade this season. Multiple pillars have been traded away. And Shane Stuykin's just trying to kind of, what, get 11 on the field? Is that what we're trying to do at this point? And they are still talking like, everything's still in front of us right now. Everything's still very much in front of us. It's like, it is for sure. If Shane Stuykin's able to win with this Colts team, I think we should potentially give him coach of the decade with what's happening behind the scenes, Joker. - At least hold on to him. You know, a lot of people are going back to what Carly or say said before the season, I believe, where she says like, hey, I think sometimes it's good to hold on to a coach or a GM and not higher too at the same time. So if Stuykin does go, you know, seven and 10, I don't know how you feel, but I feel like the fans would maybe, you know, kind of 10. I think he'll stick around. - Understand, yeah, holding on to him at least for one year. And then you bring in a GM and then maybe they do, you know, hold on to him for the long term, because he has been good. It feels as though the defense has been the problem, kind of consistently, whereas the offense, at least you've seen it, you know, look great. It hasn't this year, obviously, but at least there has been moments in the past, where it's a good you mentioned Gardner Minshew, you know, he took Gardner Minshew to a pro bowl, basically a home playoff game in week 18 against the Texans, where Winter wins a division, they don't. But still, he has had some time and some success. I think you hold on to coach Shane Stinken, I really do. - I like his name Shane Stuykin. We also got a chance to meet and talk to him. What he's been able to do multiple different times, here in Indianapolis, still has yet to win an AFC South. How much control has he been in and what, who, when, who gets drafted, what gets drafted, who's playing, when, when's it playing, 'cause this was his first head coaching job, and he was coming into an established general manager and established culture. I wonder how much was him, how much was, hey, this is how this is, now that there's no more teacher, basically at the front of the classroom, how does he kind of operate in his building? - Does he get more, does he get to a little bit more responsibility and more power once, you know, Chris Ballard is out of the, that's the thing too. Like, we don't, the thing that we don't know on the outside is what is it like from the top down? Like, what is the GM like? What is the owner like? What is that situation? 'Cause you can talk to coaches around the league. They'll talk to you, you know, off mic, and they'll let you know the real situation a lot of times. Sometimes it's a beautiful situation. Sometimes it's terrible. And there's a reason why teams lose sometimes because from the top down, it's just not running. - Yeah, not on the same page, you know. And if the coach doesn't agree with what the GM's doing, the GM has been put into a position of power to tell the coach, shut up, we don't care. Hey, this is what you have, make it work. There has been no situations in the past. Very rarely do they work. We're not saying that's what's like an invalid word, but maybe that's what's like an agreed to to become a head coach for the first time. Hey, I'm excited to do it. I'll leave the boys how you just tell me how to go about doing it. Now, you chitchat a little bit about what Carly said before the season, about turnover and transition. 'Cause a lot of Colts fans were expecting that going into this season. Last off season, a fire or a change or something after 11 straight years of not winning. The AOC South, 10 years of no playoff wins. Is there going to be a change? Here's her chitchatting about her philosophies and what she learned. With Chris and Shane, obviously, I think the one of the biggest pieces I always say is, you know, we did a regression analysis a long time ago about, you know, what is sort of the, I don't recall the kiss of death for where a general manager and head coach don't succeed. And one of the things that we found is when you simultaneously hire them and when you think about it, it makes total sense. So imagine hiring one person that has to do this, another person, and you just are like, I hope you get along, you know, versus, I think that, you know, Chris, with his 10 year with us, I think it was, we were able to go out when we found Shane and really make sure that we had someone that complemented Chris's style. And I think they have a great relationship. - Now, that was before the season. Obviously, we have another losing year, but they were able to get along is what she was mostly talking to. So if you go off what she just said there, we assume Shane's gonna be here, right? - Yeah. - Kind of. - But it didn't work out the last time they did that, did it? - Well, the regression theory though, she ran the numbers, the kiss of death is, whenever you hire both at the same time and just kind of hope and pray. Now, that could have been because how Ryan Grinston and Chuck Pagano had massive success and then ended up not seeing the same thing and ended up getting to this point. Who knows, Hulk Sir, I see you have final thought here before we're joined by a legendary man. - You gotta get a quarterback, dude. He can sell his bull shit and that's fine. But like, the reason they're screwed is 'cause they drafted Anthony Richardson in the top five and he didn't pay it out. You had Andrew look. He's pretty good. It paid manny. He's pretty good. You've had like 15 quarterbacks less eight years. That's why I haven't been worth the shit. You gotta find a quarterback. Okay, and then everything falls into place. - All right, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for that breakdown, Hulk Sir. He was like you've been studying film and keeping up with the league up there and having-- - I stopped it. - Yeah, proud of you doing that. Joining us now is a man who made some history this past weekend. For the sixth time, he forced the fumble and had an interception. There's only one player in the history of ball that has done that more than him. Rod Woodson. Rod Woodson, obviously first ball at Hall of Famer. We assume the same for this man. And his ninth year for the Atlanta Falcons. And if you look back at Cincinnati Bangladesh defense, you can maybe see when one piece was removed where everything started headed. This man was that piece. Legendary, safety, Jesse Bates, that's earth. - Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. - Yeah, yeah, how y'all doing, man? - Happy Halloween. Thank you for wearing your uniform on here to celebrate like we are. Happy Halloween to you. Happy middle of the season, pretty much. How's the body feel? - Yes, absolutely. I feel awesome. You know, you feel a little bit better after a win, obviously. But we're in a great spot. Excited for a great divisional matchup this week.
weekend and ready to keep it rolling. - Jesse, I just mentioned it there, and it's only been a topic of discussion for us over the last few weeks, so we do apologize. AJ Hock, who lives in Ohio and has ties to the Bengals, he mentioned it immediately upon you leaving Cincinnati. AJ said and made it a focal point. He's like, "Hey, Jesse Leven's a huge deal here. It's a huge deal." I think people just thought you were just gonna go off this Wake Forest guy. He's just gonna go off into a relevance we're never gonna see him again. You continue to play incredible ball, but there has been some turnover in Atlanta. Can you tell me about becoming a stapler or a pillar for the Atlanta Falcons? And what it has been like with all the change ever to last couple years? - Yeah, it's been awesome to have coach O'Brick back every year before that. I had a new defense, so that obviously was a challenge, but also it helps me out. It helps you gain your IQ as a defensive bag, different philosophies from different coordinators and stuff like that, but I tell guys every year, every single year you gotta go and prove it. Nobody cares about what you did three years ago, last year, you gotta go out there and prove it every single year. So that's always been my mindset, and it's just been awesome to go out there and gain a respect of not just my coaches and the GMs, but also my teammates, and that ultimately brings a lot of success in the program. - George Kitto not necessarily pumped about how great you played against him, but it does feel like there's a lot more punching happening than ever in the past. You punch out and pick six times. I feel like you are no stranger to this, but it feels much more common. - Yeah I do, Jesse, obviously you've been in the league and it was after the peanut punch was created, but it feels like there's more of an emphasis on it now. It feels like it's happening every week. It used to be where you would wrap somebody up and then the second guy in would try to punch it out. How much more of an emphasis is it in the league now of just going straight for the punch? - Yeah, I think it's all about the ball. The biggest margin for winning is the turnover margin in. I think it's just contagious. You see one guy doing it, you see the D Lyman doing it, you always see TJ Watt and those guys doing it and finding guys in the blind spot, but as DBs you see these guys going down to the ground. That's when the ball is most vulnerable and that's when you can take advantage and punch the ball out and ultimately that changes the game. So yeah, it's been awesome. It's something that it doesn't just happen on Sunday. You gotta be able to do that in practice. You gotta be able to train your body, train your mind, put your body in that position. And also it helps you become a better tackleer as well. So it's a game changer move and if everybody can do it on our defense, I think we'll be all right. - Yeah, I'd say, if everybody can do it, it used to be Pena, it's called the Pena punch because he was like one of the only people that did it. And then there was like little bursts of people that came through the league and had a good ability, but they were always said to can't play like that all the time, can't play like that all the time. You're gonna get run over. Now it just is a part of the tackling form. Like right here, you're gonna secure that tackle if you don't get the ball, as opposed to risking it all for the punchout. Do you box, do you train boxing? Is that something like, what is the downfall that you miss? I guess that's what it always used to be. It says you miss. Are you practicing precision punching around there? - Yeah, you definitely gotta find the air behind the ball. I think people think that you just gotta throw haymakers all the time. Sometimes that jab can do a little work for you as well. So yeah, it's something that we preach on our defense is find the air behind the ball. Sometimes you're trailing the guy. Sometimes you're in front of him. But however, you gotta find that air behind the ball. And like I said, you put in your body on the guy once you're punching him. And then if you don't get the punchout, you just wrap him up. So I always say it's cool getting a tackle, but it's better getting the punchout. So it's been a focus for sure. Shout out to my guy, Vaughan Bill at Cincinnati. I think that's when I really added that to my game when I was in Cincinnati. And I've been able to, you know, bring it here in Atlanta and it's contagious. Like I said, our whole defense is doing it. - It's cool to get a tackle. Better to get the ball. Ball is the program. Speaking of the program, there's a man back around that building that we got a chance to see. Looks in incredible shape. But we don't know what he's doing day to day. AJ, who's a hunter, he killed an abominable snowman earlier today with his bare hands out in the parking lot. Has a question for you? - Yeah, Jesse, he's speaking about Matt Ryan. Obviously, I guess he's the president of football, I believe, is his official title there. What's it like seeing him day to day? Is he around the team all the time? Like what is his interaction like with the team and what's it like having him there? - Yeah, it's nothing like having a former player that's been there that knows what it looks like. And then also being on the team that he played, you know, most of his career for, he's been all hands on. You never think that he's the president of our organization. You know, you think he's our safety's position coach. Sometimes he's going out there and throwing us a deep ball. Giving us a good look, a different drops with these quarterbacks now and days. And then next thing, you know, he's throwing to the receiver. So he's hands on, it's nothing like having former players in the building with Coach Ovalbreak, even with Ian, our GM former player as well. So it's really cool when you can have that perspective of guys who are former players and leadership roles. It's really contagious. Like I said, in this program, if you want to be great, you can't just be great in football. You got to be a great person. You got to have that instilled in your life. It's a lifestyle for sure. And those two are great examples of it. Yeah, you would assume if you're a young guy, you could ask these guys anything and learn about it. Matt Ryan, being in the building for a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, feels like a good idea. Let's talk about one of your quarterbacks. You're a quarterback. Go ahead, Joker. Yeah, Jesse, you talked about it earlier this week. I believe maybe last week just, you know, the team is different when number nine is in the game. What have you seen from him, you know, leading up to the season and even during the season that makes you think and makes you know, like you said, you know, this is a franchise guy. This is the guy for Atlanta going forward. Was there any specific moment that you kind of look back on and you know, think of when you kind of identify him being the franchise quarterback for Atlanta? Yeah, you know, I was with another number nine in Cincinnati and, you know, the poise and the confidence that you see from that guy. I was very similar to our guy as well here in Atlanta. He's just his natural confidence. And what that does for our offense. I mean, we have plenty of playmakers on that field. But when you have a guy like that who has that calm presence and can lead guys, you see him out there dancing. He got to swag back a little bit. So I'm very excited. He's my locker mate as well. So I get to see him, you know, even those first two weeks when he wasn't back. I mean, he was killing for him to get back out there and have an impact on our team. So the dude is legit. He can make any throw on that football field. And I'm just happy to see him healthy and, you know, having an impact and having that leadership role in our team. Aaron Rodgers just came out on a podcast and talked about talking to the defensive players. Hey, your drop's way too quick. You don't need to be doing that. DB's telling him something that they're seeing from Aaron. Do you have that relationship with Pinnix or is he at the stage where you don't need to be clouding him with too much shit? Yeah, no. Pinnix is all about it. He's super authentic conversations when we're talking. Big time for this week. Obviously, the Bucks was Zach Robinson over there. You know, Mike knows everything that he's harping on last year and it's just week to week. It's different from a lefty, you know, when we're going against all these righty quarterbacks. But it's definitely I like to pick his brain and see what he sees and see what his process is when he's in his dropback type of game. Yeah, I wonder if he's going to start doing that to you. The more he starts understanding the defenses that he's looking at. Not that he doesn't right now, but we're just saying as he continues to grow older, I assume those questions will only continue to grow a great relationship in the locker rooms. A big deal. You're saying he's a dude, huh? We like him. Oh, he's a dude. He's a dude for sure. Like I said, he's just got that poise that calm presence. And like I said, he is not always serious. It's a little bit of, you know, authentic. And he can dance a little bit. He's a Florida boy. So he's himself and excited to have him as a leader on our team. Classic Florida boys, a quarterback in Atlanta. If you guys get that thing rolling, it'll be a special scene down there. Now head coach, a task with that formerly in Cleveland. Now down there in Atlanta. Heavenly Hulkster has a question for you, Jesse. And Jesse, first and foremost, dude, I just want to say from one exceptional athlete to another. I love watching you play, dude. You are just smooth as butter, brother. So keep killing it. Keep doing it. Coach, the face. Keep that mentioned, you know, at the start of the season, when you got, you know, Pettics obviously wasn't in there. It was kind of like, hey, do they hire the right guys? This guy having a one way ticket out of town. You guys have turned things around. Obviously in a great position right now. What is it like being with Coach Defansky day and day? What have you noticed that's maybe different about his culture than some of the other guys that you've played with in the past, dude? Yeah, he definitely has a calming presence. You know, usually with head coaches nowadays, they're offensive guys and they're calling the plays. They're not really hands on with the defense. But obviously, you know, Coach Defansky was a safety as well if no one knew that. And he has a lot of love for that defense aside as well. So it's good to see him, you know, bounce around and, you know, he's been coach of the year here before. You know, he knows what it looks like. He knows what it takes to be successful in his league and it's been good having him, having a clear identity for our team. And like I said, there's no better leader than Coach Defansky. Is he, is he, are we getting backpettles out of Stafansky right now at this time at Pettton? Is that where he wants to school? Yeah. I need to ask him about it. I haven't seen his pedal or his Wii pedal or anything like that, but the IQ is definitely there. And see, Kevin Stafansky's out there playing Ivy League football. Yeah. Now he comes in offensive, guru, back there at safety. You guys like him? I got a chance to catch up with him at a golf tournament. He was incredibly cool because I wondered how we got a gig so fast after what happened in Cleveland. Like the coaching cycle is always crazy, you know, it's always in it. You know, this better than anybody, probably with how
long you've been in the NFL, coaching cycles seem like you are publicly nominated for a job and then publicly taking away from a job than you're real. It's the fanski goes right from Cleveland, right into Atlanta, I think we're all like pretty surprised by that. You know, automatically, then we got a chance to chat with them. It's like, oh, this guy's, he's obviously a nerd. He went to Penn, but this guy loves ball. And I think he relates really well, I didn't bishon call him Martin Luther King whenever he rallied the group. He did, yeah. He said he did that. So can you tell me a little bit about the fanski style and leadership and why you boys love him? I guess. Yeah. I just think that is clear. You know, there's no gray. He's letting guys know, hey, we need, we need you to do this is clear roles on this team. And like I said, there's a better, no better guy than to lead that way and be able to hold guys accountable. That ultimately creates a culture to where, you know, we can trust this guy not just on the field, but off the field as well. And yeah, he's, he's had a lot of quotes in our team meetings, our team meetings are some of the, you know, best team meetings I've ever been a part of. And every single day we start with a team meeting. So it's good when you can hear, you know, from the, from the horse's mouth, from the top of the top, what he expects from our team and that, like I said, ultimately wins you football games. Daily expectations is such a great display of leadership. I'm excited to hear that's how he operates down there in Atlanta. Good luck against the bucks this weekend. I think bake at what 64 yards last week or something like you would know better than me. And they just absolutely smacked the Panthers. I'm excited to see Jesse Beach, good turn in there, you know, put the Irving, you know, what you got to do. Hey, good luck for us on the way. You're the man. Tell everybody we said hello down there. Absolutely, man. Indiana legend Pat McAfee. Much love, bro. Jesse legend. You ladies are jumping. Jesse. Yeah. Yeah. Fair kind of him. Fair kind of him. What's he from Fort Wayne? Yeah, he's a Fort Wayne guy. Yeah, Indiana guy. Is that by Westfield? No. No. No. Nice try, dude. Yeah. He almost ran through it. I run through it. I run through it. I don't know. It's on the west side. Yeah. You wouldn't have got there yet, but you were thinking about it. You probably saw it on a sign while you were right. I did. Did you take the highway? Or how did you get over here? I took back roads here. I don't want anyone to see me. You ran on back roads to get here after seeing this guy say he was going to kill everybody and then decided to take him out right there in the parking lot. Correct. I love everything about it. I appreciate you doing that. Jesse Beach, hell of a player. When he left Cincinnati, you could start looking at how their defense performed after he left and it slowly just starts going like this. They go on the magical run of the Super Bowl. Obviously, they have to move on from some key pieces. He goes down to Atlanta, whole new career down there. He's now guy down there, hopefully for the rest of his career. Nine years in, still a stud doing an agent. Nine years in, still. It feels like he's been playing for 18 years. The amount of plays this guy makes and you turn on anything. Red zone highlights, like whatever it is, you see, I feel like Jesse Bates is making plays. I've been very impressed. I was upset when the bangles let him get out the door, but I think he's been a huge addition to that Falcons team. Yeah. And he mentioned it too. Like, he's had a different coach. I think he said three so many different DCs, I think he said three head coaches. Yeah. He's only been there for this is fourth year and for that much turnover to happen. Like, that must be so tough as a player to deal with that. I don't recall, but there could have been, I guess, a couple of different weeks where anybody could potentially get it. The Atlanta Falcons formally have been a part of a division that no one wants to be a part of. Hulk sir, I don't know if you've heard about this, but we have rolled out an AFC shot. You have. Oh, yeah. I bet it's you guys. You guys got to figure out the polls. No, it's going on. And you know which teams of the NFL or dog shine. Yeah. Which I appreciate. Yeah, and we try to point him out every single week. Who's shite? Who's not? For a quick recall. Here's last week's shite division. Coats were at the top. If you're at the top of the shite division, what's that mean, AJ? That means you are the worst of the worst. Yeah, you are the shiteiest of the shite up there at the top and then kind of work your way down. Los Angeles Chargers, they're still absolutely disappointing. The entire NFC East was in there because I think it was a two week period where they had won a single game. And then the Los Angeles Rams, just because of disappointment purposes, were dropped into the shite division. We do put out a tweet asking people to try to guess it right. We did not do that this week, but we do have a winner from last week where we will get them something autographed from the office. Let's roll out before week a officially kicks its entire slate off the week seven shite division. Ladies and gentlemen, I had to say, I don't like doing it because I'm a supporter of their business. Oh, no, no. Oh, no. I'd be considered one of the backbones, the pillars of their business as a seasoned ticket holder, probably the highest paying seasoned ticket holder that they have that doesn't have a full business agreement with no question. Yes. I would say so. Because all the other suites have like full ads and half time, they have like a full thing. We are just strictly paying for those seats on home games at one o'clock on every other or every third Sunday at Luke's all stadium. Welcome to yet again, the shite division, the Indianapolis course. Well, sir. You don't call out. I don't deserve. Now, the three shite emojis there, that's how many times the Indianapolis Codes have ended up on the shite division. Now, there's a lot of season left. You have five losses at the end of the year. You're pumped. Okay, especially with how long this season is. Shane Stuykin and the Lads have a chance to do something memorable, remarkable. They can become a team that was once considered pillar of shite division to world champion. AJ, how do you feel about the Indianapolis Codes being the leader in the shite house? Well, I, you know what does give me a little bit of concern is the fact that they trade away their studs like the guys that are kind of the backbone of the team, the guys that they built everything on, they kind of let them go recently in this past week, especially Jonathan Taylor. So that's a huge. But when it comes to the NFL, we all know that we don't really know what's going to happen game to game. So you know, we get a bounce back this week and all of a sudden, they're not number sitting on top of the shite division. Yeah, we could potentially have a bounce back. And that's certainly something that is possible with Shane Stuykin, Daniel Jones getting back to full form. Now, do you play Josh Downs? He is playing us. But do you actually play? Yeah, you showcase him. Hey, you want to get traded, but go have a good game. What if he gets hurt? Well, then they're going to say we weren't getting trades anyway, Powell. No, but I mean, man, what do you do? I don't know. That's one of our best weapons. What do you do with him? Jonathan Taylor hasn't said that he said he has not requested a trade, but he understands what life is. His wife is putting out a lot of videos about what life is like in a moment in time for the tailors as a whole, as it's being talked about. We're learning a lot there, but it's like, what do you do if you're Shane Stuykin with Josh Downs? He's in a really tough spot. And Stuykin, when you think about it, like, if he is able to rally the troops and actually just give the cult some hope, we talk about hope, like your team needs to have some kind of hope going into the off season. If you can show like glimpses of hope, I think you'd be all right. And glimpses of hope is kind of what the optimism is for the Shite Division. That's right. And hopefully we'll be a sauce gardener, good to go, Tyler Warren, good to go. Good to go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm trying to kill him still on a football field. Okay. Ain't no Jones on a football field. I know I'm still on a football field, Grover Stewart still on a football field. Lay out to a lot to still on a football field. That's a good news. Coats have a lot of good names, which is haven't been able to win, which makes you wonder. If we move on from the forest Buckner and Quentin Nelson is now the time for us to win with an ability to maybe not play Josh Downs our best receiving threat. Yeah, it is. And Alec Pierce still has yet to play football after signing, sorry, he did play a little bit. He did play actual football since signing the largest wide receiver free agent deal in the history of the NFL. So a little bit of a shite situation, that's whether the leader is in a shite house, but you can win your way out of the shite division. You know hasn't been able to do that other than one time. Who's that dude? Another fire seal. Tell us he tightens. Congratulations. That's five shite emojis there. They've been on here five times in seven weeks. That's not great. Their fans are certainly wondering what the hell is going on. And they just moved on from Jeffrey Simmons. They're the most dominant player that they've had throughout his entire. How long has he been there? Nine? What is the year? At least eight. This might be nine. This might be his ninth year. I were all guessing what Jesse Bates is in his ninth year. So I was kind of worried that Jesse and Jeffrey had to see him. Jeffrey Simmons is going to be on the Chicago Bears. Yeah, that's why. Monday night football taking on Quentin Nelson in Seattle Seahawks can't wait to watch with man. He is a stud. It's going to be fun to watch him. This is your eight. So for eight years that he's been there, he's been their most dominant and consistent player that they've had. They move on from him there in a fire sale. Is Cam Ward the quarterback of the future? Is Robert Salah going to be able to turn this place around? Are they punting on the season with Borgonsi who said it was tough to tell Jeffrey Simmons they're moving on from him. He didn't want to leave. He didn't want to leave making hard decisions in Tennessee. Does that mean they're going to get their way out of the shite house or in the shite house, Joker? I don't know. I'm going to say stay in the shite house, seeing five poops next to him. He's going to shock me. I didn't realize it's been that bad, but probably should with only one victory. But yeah, they're in a difficult spot, almost more than the cults. Maybe we frame this even better because they don't know if they have their guy. They used the number one overall pick. They're going to have one or two or three. They stop coming here. What do you do? Do you kind of stick with Cam Ward, even though you might not know if he's great or do a move on from him? Very difficult. That sucks for Tennessee and seemingly no hope. You know us, this sucks for New York Jets. Welcome back. Wow. Welcome back. Shite Division for the Jets. They've only been on one other time. This is not, wow. That's tough. That's a surprise because we had faith in Aaron Glenn. He comes out and says, I didn't use time ask because I want our defense to get stopped. Get the ball back. It's like, well, you can do both, dude. You can do both. And you don't have to say that out loud. But Aaron Glenn has been very transparent and they lose to the dolphins. So lose to the dolphins. Have that situation. Hard not to say you're absolute shite. Once again, can win your way out. And then the fourth.
And final entry into the AFC, NFC Shite Division, is congratulations, second half rate. - All right, nice. - Second half of the Ravens. Now, the reason why we didn't put out a prediction tweet is because we didn't want to break down too. Also, halves of teams could be involved. Divisions could be involved. It was hard to kind of describe who was gonna make it. Their point differential from first half to second half is abysmal, it's disgusting. And what the Ravens have done in a second, let alone what the Bangles just did. What the Ravens have done in the second half all season has been bad. They beat the hell out of the coats. They steal a win down in Brazil. They have been a team that have gotten some wins, but in the second half, when never game matters, has not played well. Is Jesse Miner gonna be able to get it down the stretch? Is Lamar Jackson gonna be able to flip this all around? If you have an elite of an elite quarterback, does your second half get better? I would say. So I'm not really worried about the second half for Ravens as we go down the stretch, but it is certainly alarming when we start looking at the numbers about how shite they have certainly been. - Yeah, you wonder what you could possibly do. I mean, the only thing you can do, probably Jesse Miner, you go in the locker room. Hey, you guys can take a quick leak. Get a quick orange slice, and then we're going ones on ones going on for seven and a half minutes until we start the second half. - Yeah, that's what MCDC did down there in Miami when he got the interim head coaching job. Oklahoma drills immediately, middle of the season. Let's go ahead and wake this place up. Professional athletes don't always respond that way, but maybe the Baltimore Ravens will. And that's what I think you think about their squad. - I don't think you should be doing that. I just think coaches will do anything to try to get a win and try to figure something out. So we'll see what happens. I guess, keep your eyes on them coming out. See how early they come out of the locker room here, going into the third quarter. - Hawks, do you have your own shite division? Or do you agree with this one? - Listen, I do have my, but it's not really NFL teams. I don't know if we want it. - What is it? - Get into that. Can you let me finish my sentence before you just don't-- - I'd like to know because I want to brutally interrupt me and cut me off. NFL was pretty hard to do. Not, I mean, not too shabby. Again, you know, I know they came off the buy. The charger's fucking stink, dude. - Yeah, I know they went in. - They absolutely stink. Mike McDale's gonna keep calling plays. That's about a decision, but I'm not running that specific organization. I think they should trade just an Herbert. - To who? - Whoever will think it. - What do you get for him? - You ask for like four ones. - Couple of ones. - And they'll say, well, this guy's never won anything. All he cares about is Smoochin. We don't want to give four ones for this guy. But I look at it, I mean, the Minnesota Vikings. - Smoochin, he's in love. - Smoochin, now what do you get? - A lot of people. - Yeah, a lot of people. - And a lot of people. - A lot of people. - A lot of people. - You and Linda were in love at one point. - Yeah, a lot of people were in love. You know, if they're not doing what? - Getting every paparazzi around and saying, hey, come here, come here, come here, come here. I want you to take a picture. I mean, my girlfriend's smooching on the freaking practice field, dude. That's bullshit. And if you're talking about the other thing, I did not get said to that. Okay, that was in my room. I didn't even know about it. You have a freaking bubble of love spoochin, having them walk me through that thing. - Shout out to you, though. - Shout out to you. - Shout out to you. - Who got the last laugh? The Hulkster, dude. - Well, Rest and Peace, Heavenly Hulk, so happy you're joining us today. You haven't been pretty mad. Joker, I didn't expect it to be this angry about everything. - I didn't either. It feels just like a contentious time up in heaven. - It's not, no, that's the thing. I just run high, dude. You guys saw it back in LA, okay? With me and Nash and Hall. You guys saw it back in LA, not a six. - Okay, yep, that's where you're running the most hot. - Yeah. - Yeah, Pete Colleywood-Hogan, yeah, you remember. - All right, Devonte Adams, closer to the shorter term of the six to 10 week timeline for the Los Angeles Rams. Maybe he gets back after tearing his hamstring off the bone. They said that thing was like a chicken wing ripped off there. Six to 10 weeks, it was obviously very devastating news to all of us football fans. Certainly the Rams with how he's been able to operate in the McVey offense with Matthew Stafford. They were saying maybe six weeks instead of 10 'cause he's a Wolverine. AJ's first thing he said was Devonte potentially missing 10 weeks with the hamstring tear walked off the field. That's Packer's fan saying that. We don't need to get into the injury stuff. - I wasn't comparing him to anybody else. I'm just saying that. - Yes, certainly did. - Devonte. AJ Brown of the New England Patriots in practice, yesterday due to a knee flare up. His status is up in the air for Sunday versus Dolphins for New England. Now this would be a storyline if there's just a flare up of a knee problem. We're in the middle of the season. Is this going to continue to come? Is this going to stop? Are they going to be able to handle it? Don't love hearing the word flare up, especially from a wide receiver. One joke or how's everybody taking the news up into England? - Not great this weekend if AJ Brown is in there, we're going in with pop Douglas Efton Chisholm in Cal Williams, a wide receiver. So very thin at that group of dobs and macons on IR. This would be a huge loss, but good thing is Dolphins. Need him back for Packers next week. - Okay. Congrats to you, New England Patriots. You have a quarterback that can seemingly operate without a number one water receiver. - Yeah, exactly. - They try to get AJ Brown in there though. Try to change it all. Maybe it'll continue to get a little bit smoother if he can remain healthy. Before we get out of here on ESPN, I think we do have to showcase all of the costumes. - Oh yeah, oh, that's okay. - That's under them. You know, the Halloween Spectacular is a real one for us. A real one for us. This is something we look forward to every single year. We have people that prepare for months and months for this. We have others that maybe piece it together within the last day or two. You know, that's just what Halloween is, I think for all parties. AJ, an incredible hunter today, as he was actually living his gimmick and killing this psycho derange. What is this, AJ, if you had to describe it? - I think it's like a rabid, some kind of eight foot two gorilla situation. - Eight foot two. - How much you think like an eight foot two gorilla would potentially cost if you just wanted to have one around or something like that? - Well, this had to be shipped here from afar, far away. As you see, the battery that it uses was not the typical lithium ion battery. - There's a battery. - What are you talking about? Do you say you killed that thing? - Yeah, I know, you know what I'm saying. But yeah, it's, you know, I think it's not as bad as you could. - It's hard to be honest with you. - It's all the hard battery. - Hey, thanks for buying in as an hunter for us today and actually taking care of some business. The Joker and Heavenly Hulkster, good work today, boys. - Good work. - Thank you, dude. - Thank you, dude. - Heavenly Hulkster, every time you make a trip back here to the Thunderdome, we get very thankful. - Happy Halloween to you, sir. - Happy Halloween to you guys. I love spending time with you. Can only be for one day, obviously, because, man, I'll tell you what, that was Junker, please say what you're talking about. - All right, okay, and Joker, Joker. (laughing) Joker, thank you for joining us this year. You look fantastic. - Yeah, always a pleasure. I do love doing this every single year. It's awesome that we've continued to do it and good on you for putting paint on your teeth 'cause boy, from over here, it's starting to get into your place. - Got a real Patriotate going on that. - Yeah, I got on my lips. - And it's actual paint, too. - Oh, yeah, it's paint. You switched to paint. - Yeah, from paint to paint. - We had tape on there. I was like, I'll just put tape on there and do it. One with the actual eye black here, which is actually paint. And it's just been kind of oozing through my mouth. Could take me out. Some people would be pumped up about that. I'd like to think that my immune system would be able to battle with you. I'd like to think we'd be able to battle through whatever potential demons are in here. Yeah, I just wanted to show a little love to gold metal, got a gold mill right here. - Nice. There it is. - Gold mill right here. - You've worn that face. - Impressive. - That's right. - I mean, this thing I have lived and breathed that shout to you, Joker. Great to see you, Heavenly Hulk, sir. And then obviously James Bond from the opening scene of that one movie. - Spector, yeah. - Yeah, Taylor Spurfus. - I just thought like, what was the most iconic scene I've ever seen in my entire life and that people agree upon? And I went with it. - The most iconic of all time, that particular scene? - Yeah, definitely. - Of all movies, of all time. - It's up there, top 10 definitely. - Yeah, you talking without your mouth moving all day has been special, yeah? I mean, Coach Signati, Coach Saban, just staring at right down. Jesse Bates, just looking you right in that still face and just answering questions. I love what you've been able to accomplish, Jim, as Heavenly Hulk, sir, calls you. - Yeah, we go way back. He was actually there, D.A. Dayl is more a toast for that special. - No doubt, dude. - But no, I just wanted to pay tribute to most iconic movie scene in all of all time. - Yeah, okay. And I've heard you talk about this particular movie so many times. - So many years. - Yeah, we've all heard of it. - Well, it's just 'cause YouTube never seen any of the Bond movies, don't come at me, okay? - Well, I've never heard you talk about it. - Is that not Penta? - Okay, let's go to the back, actually funny, funny you say that. Foxy, I love where you come from a far, far, far away land. Pal, you look spectacular. - Thank you, I am Lord, far qua, of Shrek. You guys are my peasants and that's all I got. - Shut up! - I Heavenly Hulk, sir, doesn't love far qua. How about next to you, is that a Savannah Banana? Is that what that actually is right there? - I'm Bobby Banana, it's Savannah Banana season ticket holder. I was hoping Ty would be here. I got a couple of bones to pick with him, but my wife said you got to pick, it's me or the Banana's. And let's all just say I miss her bunches. - Okay, I like that Bobby Banana. Thank you for pulling that on. - What an asshole! - What's that? - You know, yeah, listen, I know Ty's not here. That guy's a dickhead, it'll lose her. Because he puts all of his time and energy and investment in his Savannah Bananas. - I thought you Heavenly Hulk, sir, who understands showmanship and understands like-- - I understand good showmanship and be it The King and hitting everybody with I'm a real American. - Why? - Father, the ride to every man. The Savannah Bananas could suck on my banana. That's how I feel about the Savannah Bananas. - What? - And guess what? - Why? - That takes 26 hits just like Bobby Banana, baby. - Bobby Banana, I'm sorry you have to take this from Heavenly Hulk, sir. He's been a little bit negative. I appreciate you supporting something that I love. - Ty! - Too itches. - Read it and wait, Bobby! - I was watching the World Series. That shit sucked. There was no music, no dancing, no choreography, no backflow. - And they were whipping their dicks at either way, Bobby.
You're the only one talking about that heavenly Hulk, sir. - No. - Bobby Bananas, we appreciate you supporting something that we all love back there. And let's go to the back row. We got Gilly Gumpy, is that what we're seeing there? We get a light up on in the back, back there, or no, is that possible? Gumpy, how do we fall in the Gilly suit, pal? - Just some sort of a hunter, you know. - Jesus Christ, you know who's next? - Oh my God. - Oh my God. - Oh my God. - Oh my God, he did it. Batman in the Gilly suit in the back row. I had no idea we had Batman in here. Batman, how's it going, pal? - I'm Batman. - Yeah, we can see that, we can see that. When did you decide to be Batman? I didn't know this was gonna be happening there, Frank. - Well, I saw the Joker because he's a garbageer, kills for money. - Okay, have you two kind of encountered each other today or have you been good with the best of friends? - He's a complete psychopath. He needs to be stopped at all costs. - Are you like one of those guys who's wearing hockey pads, or are you? - I'm not wearing hockey pads. - Okay, but so you're actually-- - I'm Batman. - Okay, all right. Gilly, what's it been like, Gilly Gumpy? Next to Batman all morning. - He's been dialed in, he's ready. He's just been staring Joker just out of the side of his eye, side eye, and I'm all show. - Oh really, Batman, are you been trying to look through the banana to get to the Joker? How's it been going back there? - I've had Lucius Fox bring me up a sonar system using the directional computeations of every smartphone in this dry area. - Yeah, all right, thank you for doing that, Batman. So obviously not just boys in the back. - Well, I'll stop you this time. - Absolutely well done. - We also got an entire crew. We have a, which I think you're gonna love, Hulkster. We have a WWE official. - Oh yeah. - Zito came in as a WWE ref. Some to think about actually Zito. What does your count look like and sound like? Just so you know if we ever-- - Yeah. - And one, that's a quick count. That's a quick count. That's a quick count by the WWE official. Heavenly Hulkster, I don't know if you know anything about that. - Yeah, no thanks. That looks like that son of a bitch, Earl Hemner, who screwed me over if you remember in the Twin Referee screw job. Circa 1988 in this very fucking city in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ted D. P. O. C. And you know what I mean? - We're obviously-- - Fuck Earl Hemner. - Take a hike, boom. - That Zito is a ref. I don't know if that's Earl Hemner. Earl Hemner around WWE after WWE. And I believe WCW and I think TNA. - He was Earl Hemner for a long time. - We also have a Hobbit, ladies and gentlemen. A Hobbit from Mordor, I believe is where he's going. And don't just look at the top. Look at down at the bottom. He's got these hairy ass feet. - Keep coming. Keep going. - Keep going. Keep going. - Debound, who are you again? - Keep coming. - Back in, back in. - What's he talking about? - Frodo, back in. - I mean, John was back in. - He's back in. - So, keep walking. - You're right in line with D. P. O. C. - There you go. You already have all these clothes before, trick or treat? - Yeah, sure. Come up here. - About anything to say to the people is, they head off to the bus and boys. Live on, set somewhere in university. - No, I'm sorry, I have a Halloween. - Happy Halloween, everybody. - Mosquito ball, go watch your theaters, see the motor, Bloomington, goodbye. I could work their bone. It's not just whatever that was, okay? And bones, attention to detail for Halloween is spectacular. - Yeah, really? He works harder on that than he does at the graphics. Yeah, I've got to love it. - Could be true. That could be interesting. He's not the only one that dressed up in the back there. I appreciate him saying happy Halloween to everybody. We also have coats, assistant general manager, and head of personnel. Ed. Dodds is here, shout out to Ed Dodds, new position, new title, same old Ed though. Hey, I'm not changing anything while I walk into a game. Oh, he's heading out, where are you? Oh, trick or treat, he says. Trick or treat. - Trick or treat, walk away, he trains with work. - Oh, straight. Oh, can't, just can't land a plane. - By EGM, not quarterback. - That's right. Hey, thank you, Ed. - Check out Candy for laser blades. - That's Batman back there. Let us know that he might be working with the wrong team. And I do believe we have a couple who's costume, which we appreciate. Mitt and talk have certainly paired up and teamed up to deliver the goods. Who are you guys, just so we could kind of know, you look amazing. - Yes. - Please come on stage. - Dude, where's my car? - Boo. You guys were not born when that movie came out. I thought you guys were gonna do break dance or something together. - Yeah, I thought we were potentially like a dancing group, like. - We also could be from that moment in town. - No. - Oh, you guys from town, you got 10 to on your neck? - Who's car on your tank? - You don't say that. Yeah, Jack, you're done with it. - You're done with it. - Hey, moron. - Get your seat down and board. - That, you didn't say that either. - Weren't they already, dumb and dumber? - You've got it. - Yeah, are you telling him? - Yeah, hey, you guys look good. Hey, boys, you leave him hanging. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You gotta have the same page. Yeah, good work, boys. - Yes, it's smooch. - I say this a lot. People don't give you enough credit for the special program you run for who you hire. - Yeah, as an employer. - Yeah. - And who the employees are? - Yeah. - It's certainly something. - It's the special program. - Yeah. - And it's a very special program. - You getting any government kick back for both those morons? - That's what I'm saying. We should be getting tax breaks. - All right. - There was, there was. - Can we leave? Can we leave anybody out? No, I think we got everybody, right? - Gord. - Yeah. - Oh, shit. - Yeah, good one. - We do. - I can't believe this guy got out of jail. I can't believe this guy got out of jail. Ladies and gentlemen. The viral sensation. The professional football player. - Oh, great. - Ladies and gentlemen. - Oh, there he is. - There he is. - Okay, I'll call you right back. - Oh, you even got the headband? Oh, no. Oh, no, it lost the headband. I like it a lot. This was a good, I believe this was a good decision. By you, Dirty. I believe this was it. What were you doing there on your phone just moments ago? - Why are you transferred? I mean, just talking to my girl. - Your girl? You got one girl or how's it go? - Well, I got a roster and we just rotate. - No, it's on by, so I'll just talk to everybody. - And you're on a roster, right? You are? - Of course, we're on by. - What team are you on? - I'm on the next. - What is the SF upside down? - It's a special brand. Yeah, it's a special brand. - Oh, why don't you hit him on a slayer? - Yeah, we do. We'll make sure we record this for you to be able to send to whoever you need to send it to. I mean, a catch from Heavenly Hulkster. - Playing next week. - What's that? - A play next week. - For the Niners. - Yeah, we'll see. - Right on the beat. The crowd's like, "Oh shit." - Java's on the pass, Rich. - Four, I'll say. - Fuck, I think I'll have to go through. - Coward! - Yes! - Oh no! - No! (laughing) - Come on, man! - This is, it's kind of Deshawn's fault, I think. - Yes! - Yeah, Deshawn. - Yeah, I'm good hands already. I'm not fucking right for this. - He's running, he's running around. He's running, he's running. - I'm not gonna try to do a pace, but. - Get open! (laughing) - Oh, shit! - That's a good ball! (clapping) - That's a damn good ball! (laughing) - Mark told me that one. (laughing) - It's all right, every Tuesday, right? - See if we're talking about Kilmer. - No. - Fuck, but Kilmer. (laughing) - Dude, that was a great ball. - He fired that. (laughing) - I was gonna stuck in his face mask. I think there are extras. I believe we have an extra one. - Spare. - Oh, this gave him that one personally. - Yeah. (laughing) (laughing) - What happened, Aaron? - The fault get up. (laughing) (laughing) - Oh no. - Oh no. - Oh no. - Oh no. - Oh no. - Hey, heavily holster. I don't know if Ty's gonna be thrilled with what you just did. - Yeah. - Hey, the cheeks look great. (laughing) - Okay, holster, I didn't know you were still doing legs up there, I had to bow. (laughing) - What's going on? (laughing) - What did you say? (laughing) - Let's just say I want to keep that thing tight for a dolly. (laughing) We know what that mouth can do. (laughing) - He's an incredible singer, we know that obviously. - Yeah, what I'm talking about, that's what I'm talking about. Ms. Dolley's the greatest. She's definitely in heaven. I think a lot of people are going to wonder about your situation going forward. - I don't even have my standout thing. Oh, fuck up. - I don't know where that went, so I can't hear you guys anymore. - Can you hear us right now though? - Oh yeah. - All right, let's see, let's see, let's see, let's see. - It's right there. - They sound love-touched. - They sound love is kind of giving you quite a run here and it do be like that. - It do be like that sometimes, dude. Some of us phones out there. - That's, that's they sound love-touched, I do believe. - He's got to, he's got to catch that. Holster fucking put that thing right on him. (laughing) Right in the bread basket, brother. (cheering) - All right, AJ, and Holster, and Joker, and Jim Bond, and Bobby Bananas, and Farquad, and Gilly Gumpi, and. - I'm Batman. - Yeah. We know that. WWE ref, the Hobbit over there, the duo, and jumpsuits. Dejon love, it is General Manager Ed Dodds. It's time to make our picks. - Here we go, got it, yes. - Let's stand on his slate. We got a little Halloween celebration about to happen here at the Thunderdome. Cannot wait for that, boys. Cannot wait for that, Lads. Let's go to it. Packers cover last night, we're both 1-0. Ravens, Bill's, Bill's favorite by three at home. 54 and a half over under. Anything we need to know about this game? Lamar Jackson, back or no? - He is back. Head coach said that today, and hopefully they can hold on to Elite, Bill's coming off a buy. - The Bill's coming off a buy. A lot of time to prepare for your joke, Thank you very much.
ready for Baltimore Ravens defense that hasn't been able to hold up in the second halves of games. AJ, who do you like? How do you like it in that one? I don't love the bills coming off a buy. Sometimes you can go have a slow start to the game when you finally get back out there, but I like the bills at home minus three. Yeah, rest of us. I'm going to go with the bills as well and remember my strategy this week. Yeah. It's a good one. Yeah. You've been seeing it well. I'm riding with you, except for a couple where I'm going to try to steal a win this week. Vikings, Lions, Lions, fresh out of a barn burner, Vikings, being a team. Go undefeated with at least I'm going to touch down scored or something in the history of an undefeated game whenever we all assume that their offense is going to be great. B flow, still leading the charge. They're getting three in Detroit. One PM game. AJ, who do you like? How do you like it? I like the Minnesota Vikings here on the road. I like them to win this game. They're off a buy too. Against the Colts. Okay. I like them as what? Come on. It's a game. Jim. It was a close game. They fought. 16-10 or something like that. Yeah. All right. I think they had the ball with the ticket drive down. I'm going to ride actually. I might need to change. Lions minus three. I'll stick Vikings. What are you guys? You guys suck on defense, right? Yeah, this is basically a battle of worst defense, first, worst offense, best offense, first worst defense. All the stats say that. So I'm very curious to see what happens. I think home field advantage. We're wearing our cool, new. Right. Did they have a rivalry? Jersey. Which one's right? What do they call it? Defend the danger. Oh, I've seen some terrible ones of them. Defund the dead. No, defend. Oh, thank you. Defend the other. All the other teams I've saw that are wearing these type of uniforms. They kind of stink. The Lions ones are ugly. Yeah, but both teams are wearing them. I think the Vikings ones are really nice. Yeah, they are. They're sweet. I'll go with the Lions at home. Shout out to Jamire Gibbs coming on. This will be the one I think that I disagree with you. Titans, bangles. Bangles favored by 12 and a half at home against a fire sale of the Titans. They just moved on from Jeffrey Simmons. 12 and a half is way too much. I'm taking the bangles. You know what? Give me the Colts. I'll take the Colts as well. Hell yeah. Let's go Shane Stuykin. This is professional football still. Got a lot of good guys still on our roster. Now, will they be on our roster in two weeks? Who knows? Josh Downs already requested a trade. Will he play? He's been a great weapon for us. Who knows? You put him on a field. You say, hey, this is a display for you to showcase who you are. He gets on that field and he gets hurt and we can't trade him all of a sudden. It goes from fifth round to fourth round or two. I can't do it. Who knows? Will he play? We're a fourth round or two like a sixth or seventh round. What are you going to do with it? A lot of people saying the Colts have an interesting little trend going on. A people that are requesting trades from them. Yeah. Good football players. Great. Let's go to the Browns versus the Steelers. Steelers favored by three and a half at home. Over under 39 and a half. James Bond, how do you view this one? So the Browns are going for a sweep of the series for the first time since when were you born? 1987. So yeah, 1988 was the last time the Browns swept the single season series. They're doing a lot of talking. So we'll see. Mine is three and a half. Boys coming back from France. I don't love that. But we'll see. Heavenly Hawks, how do you feel about the French Steelers? Well, I like the Steelers a lot. I love Aaron. Obviously everything he talks about. But man, there's something about. I just can't shake Todd Bond's head. I just can't do it. Every night I'm waking up just thinking what's my caregiver doing this week. What a new wrinkle is my caregiver at this week. Uh, I love the Browns, dude. I am a real dog bonkain. Well, my dad fights for the rights of every man. He played the job when everyone was killing him. And now they've been known as fucking sucked forever. I love Todd Bond, kid. I would go to war for Todd Bond, kid. I won with my McCarthy, too, but this prize needs different, dude. Heavenly Hawks are taking the Browns plus three and a half. It sounds like maybe even straight up. I don't know if there's any. They go. Is there draftings in heaven? Uh, guess who wrote the book in heaven? You're looking at it, brother. You are a draft. Yeah, exactly. Capotate in heaven. Capotate in heaven. He's in my heaven. That's hell. Can we throw some names at you? You got us nowhere they are? Shoot. We'll get back to you in a little bit. Okay. No, go ahead, AJ. You got some names in mind that you really want-- Okay. Um, cool. Boy, this is tough. Don't say that if you're not prepared to rifle off a couple. Okay. Because now you just look like a fucking idiot. I'm waiting, dude. You think Heavenly Hawks are has time to wait around for you to think about stuff that you want to do? You're never going to thought Heavenly Hawks are what it would have brushed you with his time and saying, "Yeah, I'll let you know who's in who's out." I've never thought I'd be talking to Heavenly Hawks or like this one on one. It's an honor. You did last year. It's an honor. I know. I thought there was a one and done. What about next year? You think next year you'll make-- Quit fucking solid. You got the names, Dickhead. No. Giving the Steelers minds three and a half. Okay. You got Steelers minds three and a half? I'll take them, I guess, with you. Even though I wanted to take the Browns, I don't know if I need to be avoiding you who's been seeing it very well lately. Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneer, is bucks favored by two and a half. We just talked to Jesse Bates, third, who's becoming a record-breaking machine on the defensive side for the Falcons. Baker is back for the second game after a broken thumb situation or a dislocated thumb situation. Didn't have to do much last week to beat the Panthers. Bucky Irving ran wild. Bucks favored by two and a half. Who do you like, AJ? I'm a bit surprised that the Bucks are two and a half point favorites. I assume that's just a home thing, but I'm taking the Falcons here. Falcons have been up and down. Let's assume that they're up. Raiders jets favored by a point and a half. I will take the Raiders in met life. I will take the Raiders as well. Cardinals, Cowboys, Cowboys favored by seven after what we just seen them do to the Eagles or they all the way back up and rolling. Heavenly Hawks are feels like you might be a Cowboys fan deep down. Uh, no. No, I'm not, you know, I grew up on them Creme Cycle jerseys. Uh, you know, and I had actually, you get any time you go down to Hogan's Hangout and you do a little karaoke. You're going to see a Steve Young Creme Cycle Tampa Bay Bucks jerseys. And you're going to see Bret Farff. There's the only two ones I got up there. A couple other guys. Maybe you don't try to get up there. Um, Bill Goldberg jerseys. He from the longest yard made it up there. Like people surprised by that because, you know, you've heard Bret, um, you know, or what the hitman had. You've heard Bret Hart talk about Bill Goldberg. A lot of us guys, us goats kind of feel the same way. Not a safe wrestler. Um, you know, kind of a piece of shite. But he was great in that movie. Yes, he was. He was great in that movie. He was great for WCW too. I would say. Yeah, right. I think you guys kind of owe a debt of gratitude. Yeah, yeah, sure we do. Got camp fucking wrestle comes in. They throw all these jobbers at him. Hey, guess what? Goldberg? You're going to go on a 89 fight win streak. And finally, and I, this was kind of at my behest. Nash was like, we're done with this dude. Give me the taser. If you remember, Nash went out there with the taser hits him. Goldberg gets pinned, streaks over as it should be. Yeah, but Bret hitman Hart said, you don't know the differences between the headlock and the headlamp. It was like, you were Bill Goldberg. Well, you know, that's what Bret Hart would say. And that's kind of all he says is, well, good old and that stupid fucking Canadian actor. No, he's got a good actor. He represents on candy. He's the best there is. The best there was, the best there ever will be. Yeah, I get it. The headband listened. He was, he was always upset that the Hulkster was the guy, you know. Funny story. The reason he hates my guts. He wanted my role in the nanny. The 1994 film. I don't know if you've ever seen it. He screen tested for it. And they basically said, sorry. You ain't got the juice. The Hulkster does. So that's kind of where me and Bret Hart go. Jerry Jones is a good guy. I do like him. And it's kind of back to, I think everyone hates Michael Bidwell. And what he's doing with the car. I heard there's a couple billboards over there. Yeah, everyone hates that guy's guts big times. Like, hey, you're a billionaire. You're a huge time fucking cheap skate. I want you to figure it out. But the cowboy suck every time you watch him, you feel like they should play better. We keep hearing about how good their defense should be. It's fucking not. It hasn't been forever. Dack, same deal. 'Cause they're the Hulkster, a big top seller on the Dow's cowboy. Okay. I know we're doing stocks like that with NFL teams, with having the cops. Well, I'm a very good friend with Jim Kramer. He's one of the only guys on earth who I still communicate with frequently. Are you hitting the moon? Yeah, you're hitting the moon and the bull and the cow. We don't doubt. Okay. Every time I can. 'Cause, you know, I'd like to win big. You've got to put those investments back in home. You can tag out. I want to make sure Nick's got that place bump in every month. I respect you doing that for your kid. The Joker clown face is what cowboys fans say they are at the end of every year. Yeah. Because you get so bought into the hype. This year, the hype was more than ever. By far. That we have been a part of. It felt real. We even bought in on the cowboys. I ain't going into the season. They're real. Especially their defense. Like, Christian Parker was the up and coming DC. Like everyone in Philly praised him for being so good and Caleb Downs being a guy immediately coming over. He leaves their team in tackles. But in the secondary, sometimes he does get abused a little bit. I mean, this is one of those ones where you would think seven points won't be enough and the cowboys will run away with it. But Cardinals are not a bad football team. Like, we talked to Michael Florida. That's a tough football team. Tough football team. Like, they got great weapons. So this reeks of over. But I don't know. Seven points is not a lot. Not that this matters for this game. But since Jerry World opened in 2009, Cardinals are undefeated in Jerry World. Who are you taking, AJ? Give me a Dallas Cowboys. All right. I'll take Cardinals. Why am I doing that? I don't know. I'll take the Cowboys. But I mean, that is a kind of a game.
glaring battle of l_a_ what do they call this in soccer gilly gums altraffical altraffical yeah nailed it their pent up thank you james bond uh. company in the soccer world was it the galaxy your l_a_f_c_ that wanted this year to two draws an absolutely epic match was just last week actually l_a_f_c_ went down to came back and tied it to so it was a stall out basically of altraffical uh. well said uh. who would that bowed well for the n_f_l_ game here well usually i would say the team that's not as good but the chargers are absolute shite so probably the rams okay so gilly gumpy likes the rams minus six and a half who do you like a j rams minus six and a half and i'm a little bit surprised this spread is not higher oh really maybe the chargers coming out of a by they got some things figured out we all believe gym hardball good football coach right yeah we all believe mcdaniel knows football a little bit yeah i hate that guy what do you mean what was that i thought he said he said he's a piss and ooh mcdaniel was cool shoes it was just like you had on before last time he came in here at those k d's on looking fresh yeah mcdaniel has always got super cool shoes on he uh. he changed the game mightily with all his motions and late shifts and everything i thought you as a guy that respects game would like would like mcdaniel now now uh. little pipsqueaks like that i usually don't respect him uh. he thought he changed the game he was suckling on kyle shenan's teeth for a lot of time in his daddy's teeth before that okay goes down to Miami well they play off that one year you guys remember any time was cold he was fucking shivering on the sidelines super cold yeah it was super cold here that's it the only thing people talk about skies shoes are cool shirts are cool as pants are cool gonna be a fucking Gucci model then okay go walk the runway in Paris we're playing fucking football NFL football you know what happened in him and Sean McVey got the square circle brother Paul you fucking rip his larynx out really yeah and tied into those fucking cool shoes he's got here's your voice boxer tied your shoes with it now weasley dickhead i can't believe they haven't fired him yet any you know what hard for some kind of guy he's gonna go down to ship brother they shouldn't have to low you didn't have to loyal might be the next coach of the golds charges of seat now we can't get in the ring of honor twice that the sick heart oh my god bang it at rubbed charge of offense quarter mic mcdaniel says you watch probably four hours of film with quarterback Justin Herbert over the by week on calls for his fine you can't ever take a need to the average results are there's gonna be heat he gets it been like go obviously for all our position that's that's not a lot of that's a lot of people doing that every night but I think he was saying four hours a day which they were getting the bottom of it I'll take the Rams as well that has not worked out anywhere near what we thought it was you know late turns out having their heaven same conversations us unless heavenly Hulk sir is just a very negative representation of everything happening not at all did me jeeps pisc okay oh let's go to the Patriots Dolphins Patriots favored by seven down there in Miami Miami fresh off a big time when Miami has been a difficult place for the Patriots play later in the season middle of the season Connor wise this only seven I think a lot of people that yeah kind of we're probably because the divisional and because they just want to game and because you know patriots very very banged up online and weapons something to remember because it's daylight savings on Sunday so hours going back an hour sun should be basically that so they won't have to deal with that standing in the sun for the entire game like they normally do for those one o'clock kicks early on sevens all right don't feel too too bad about here's some weather from NFL weather calm kickoff 79 definite rain then it gets a 78 definite rain third quarter is gone rain fourth quarter guess what mole rain good for us it's gonna be a sloppy track out there go ahead to the internet was saying that they moved this game to the four o'clock hour for the Patriots so that they didn't have to deal with Miami heat well Miami having a one o'clock game all season long is a benefit to them you can't train for the humidity seven point favorites new England Patriots heading down there AJ who do you like how do you like it I still like the Patriots here on the road minus seven Pompey did you think that was going to happen from AJ yeah big surprise there from Hawko how do you feel about getting a touchdown next to point with the Patriots coming to town I do worry the proctologists is out so our online won't be as good juju branch and concussion protocol as well but I think we can keep it tight we've been pounding the rocks so we might be able to keep it within seven can proctor rookie Alabama the proctor I think he caught a touchdown for Alabama great athlete now he is out for Miami I'll take the Patriots minus seven as well chiefs favored by point and a half heading in Denver 425 on CBS over under 40 and a half chiefs is still the chiefs Broncos got to figure it out AJ who do you like how do you like it give me the Broncos on this one my initial instinct was to take the chiefs but for some reason I'm getting something though back in my little brain tell me the Broncos all right I'm gonna ride with the chiefs there and then Eagles commanders commanders favored by six you actually gonna have to pick this one if you don't want to all right we want we'll flex just one out of our picks yeah smart I like what we just sounds good to me yeah I like what I definitely know what's having incredible week it's half a phenomenal I would go with the Eagles there plus six yeah so what I okay so we don't make make it okay we can't thank all of you run answers you enough if it wasn't for all of you wouldn't be able to celebrate Halloween every single year just like this I think a lot of people thought our show was getting completely changed you know whenever we partner with the SPN you're attacked for that terrible things are said by a lot of people that are considered our fans at the time I think what we've proven just on Halloween it's your is that it's impossible to change people that are very stupid and I don't know if this is the most conducive thing for a sports talk show to dress up in right now yeah costumes we had interviews covered all the topics we made our picks and we covered every headline that we thought we should definitely speak about so good for us I'm proud of us I'm thankful for us for us and I'm appreciative of all of you including you Joker man hey it's personal you do appreciate you and you heavenly hawkster thank you dude love you dude love you all you dudes gross hey tell all the dudes up there we love that ride let's go the talk to table Joker who do you like how do you like it man I was hoping heavenly hawkster was gonna go before me because I know he watched every single game this year of the dream but I'm gonna try it brother he's not a dream fan okay well I'm gonna ride with the dream in Angel Reese even though the Valkyries are like Tony said a tough tough barn over there you're not a dream fan are
