PMS 2.0 1648 - Overreaction Monday LIVE from Levi's Stadium with Adam Schefter & Dan Orlovsky

The Indianapolis Colts have fired General Manager Chris Ballard after a season marked by seven straight losses, a lack of winning culture, and a failed quarterback development strategy. Despite Ballard’s loyalty to players and his long tenure, the team’s poor performance—highlighted by injuries to key players like Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce, and a lack of offensive cohesion—has led to a loss of fan confidence. Ownership, represented by the Ursa family, has decided to make a decisive change, signaling a new era of leadership. The move underscores deeper cultural issues within the franchise, including a lack of accountability and a failure to build a winning environment. Meanwhile, other NFL teams offer contrasting narratives: the 49ers’ defensive strength and the Cowboys’ dramatic fourth-quarter comebacks showcase the league’s unpredictability, while Josh Allen’s clutch performances and the Browns’ unexpected rise under new head coach Todd Monken demonstrate resilience and change. The season’s volatility, from player injuries to coaching decisions, highlights the challenges of sustaining success in the NFL. Despite widespread investment, many franchises are struggling with consistency, culture, and long-term planning. The episode emphasizes that while talent and investment are critical, accountability, leadership, and a clear vision are essential for sustained success. The broader message is that football teams must evolve not just in roster composition, but in culture and decision-making.
Hello beautiful people and welcome to our humble the boat for this massive overreaction Monday in Santa Clara, California. This program begins now The greatest sport on earth we have been celebrating it obviously since it kicked off its miraculous season this year Now there has been some massive moves made this morning 31 teams in the NFL have a general manager at this exact moment the Indianapolis Colts have relieved Chris Ballard of his duty in his 10th season as the coach GM Chris Ballard Was our GM, but he's also another GM a good man Chris Ballard was a good man. He loved his guys so much so that he rode them all the way into a run here with the Indianapolis Colts That didn't have a lot of victorious celebrating moments 10 years having won the AFC South We did make it to play us with Phil Rivers, but Phil Rivers being our quarterback is kind of the story of the Chris Ballard run Andrew Luck retires Less than two weeks before the season kicks off and ever since that moment Chris Ballard had been chasing the quarterback position He tried to build up a team try to build up an offensive line But he never really found his franchise quarterback now is that on him? Definitely he had a lot of time to figure it out even a number four overall pick to figure it out Anthony Richardson came in with not a lot of reps didn't have a lot of experience. He's gonna need that he gets injured He continues to do stuff that makes you think it's not just his fault that building has got to have some problems within it Chris Ballard I think loved his guys so much that he gave him a lot of leeway. I think Chris Ballard was kind of a Hey, let's have a Kumbaya type building. That's a good thing if you're winning But if you continue to lose and there's some re no repercussions for things people start to wonder if your culture is a winning culture now Going into this season after last season whenever we lose seven straight games to end the season We're 2 and 11 in the last 13 games. I mean, it is Bad bad bad for the Indianapolis quotes. Carly Urse Kaelen Urse Kasey Urse Gordon. They become sorry Kala. Yeah, K Carly Urse Gordon Kasey Ursey Foyte Kaelin Jackson Boyd Yeah, okay three sisters daughters of Jim. I'm a huge fan of all three of them They are now outright owners after last season we thought there was gonna be sweeping change Hey, there's no loyalty between us and you. This is a new building there hasn't been a lot of success I think a lot of people expected it there were coats fans I think it would have been very understood if it was to happen after last season instead kicked the can down the road This is now the year where everything has to happen. Well, it hasn't they pay. I like Pierce the biggest contract in the history Wide receivers at the time he gets hurt was hurt still is hurt hasn't really played Daniel Jones gets a hundred million dollar contract He does not play like he played for the first nine weeks of the Indianapolis quotes season last year where we are number one in the entire world He's recovering from an Achilles. Let's assume it's maybe a slow back But everything they thought was gonna happen this year has not happened in the defense can't stop the soul and in yesterday They lose to the Shidee steam and a history of ball Who kind of see Titans at home after having a 13 point lead at halftime, so everything has gone bad I think Chris Ballard understands the nature of the business I think Chris Ballard knew that this was probably coming he even said before the season. I wouldn't take a new contract You got to win So I don't know if he was saying they were trying to pay me and I was saying you should not be doing that Okay, I should have to prove this a little bit or if he was saying I understand the situation entirely going into this year We got to get it. He spent money. He's paid a lot of players guys have been drafted here Got second contracts here almost under third contracts here. This culture is a hundred percent theirs in this Cotes building and they haven't been able to win and yesterday was the Shidee's performance of all in Adam Venetary won into the ring of honor And I will say Adam Venetary looked fantastic. He shouted out to quotes fans. He shouted out everything going on But he did say at the end of it. It's a bad day to be a tight. Oh he did Yeah, and then a second half the tightness that actually just like it has been for a while now It's a bad day to be a cult. Well, Chris Ballard no longer a member of the cults organization He was a good man. He was good for a city of Indianapolis I think he took care of people in there too much show maybe that led to all of this So we move to the next era his assistant general manager, which I don't know how that helps Okay, I don't know how just the guy who made all the decisions with the guy is now in charge and then what's he gonna do? Is he gonna be the one that potentially reloads this team for whoever the next GM is is he currently doing a Interview to be the next GM if he was the if they were to hire from within this general manager I don't think that would be a good move So I appreciate Dodds who will be leading everybody for the rest of the year doing this but him and Bauer were like some more fucking animal Yeah, being a part of jelly these guys Hulk and macho and they were getting along I mean these guys were like tag team partners, so Chris Bauer gets fired this guy comes in I don't know what the difference is and I don't know how you're supposed to handle that situation But I do know we have some pieces on our roster that if we are to start a reload which I don't want us to do I'm not saying that we have to do that entirely Jonathan Taylor you could probably get a one four sure probably you could probably get a one which we don't have any because we traded for sauce Oh to force Buckner unbelievable football player Jonathan Taylor as well They don't need to be going down with the ship the forest Buckner actually came out and said I'm about done with it He is so good at football Quentin Nelson. He's on his last year of a contract here He's been phenomenal for us incredible football player Does he deserve and do we deserve to potentially try to get something for Quentin Nelson as we try to go forward because somebody will Probably offer up something very very nice for Quentin Nelson or are those three guys including Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce Who have been paid the pillars for the next start that's a decision has to be made by who? Dogs and dogs so I don't know how I feel. I don't know. I don't know what's gonna happen But I do know as a person who is a seasoned ticket holder paying seasoned ticket holder for the Indianapolis Coast I would like to see us be good because boy those first eight weeks last year were everything we had dreamed of now There's a lot more to talk about the NFL. It had a fantastic Sunday kind of a shite slate some boring games We had some magical storylines happen and some coming out of Philadelphia with Jalen Hertz It's obviously incredibly scary. We'll be talking to Adam Shepter later this hour as we get to the bottom of all of that There's a lot to talk about. It's gonna talk to table at Boston Conner net. Ty Schmidt congrats to you guys your team Okay, two and four will get your general manager five four and two Ty will start with you or to win No, Micah. No problem the last couple weeks. You guys pound the Cowboys. Yeah, I mean the Packers just kind of starting to get right All feels right in the world again, but I'll be honest the the defense That's really the the big takeaway here Jordan love he played well enough last night a lot of drops Which I would love to see the Packers kind of clean that up but and you know Debut would know more about this than I would but their secondary is just how and that deck was so confused last night Obviously, that's an unfortunate situation CD falls down, but I'll tell you what yeah without Micah The whole thing was hey just kind of kind of weather the storm and make sure the boat doesn't fill up with too much water But boy the way the Packers are playing right now the way their defense is playing Particularly I'm not I'm not so sure when Micah gets back You're not looking at the best team in the NFC Wow 49ers playing the night. They're under good and very good a lot of people talk about Brock party winning Potential MVP this year. Good for him cannot wait to talk about this Monday night football game That we're very lucky to be covering on ESPN 2 with field pass outrageous that we're doing that Conner Congratulations Drake Bay isn't asked. No, it's like he is the guy They're pointing to that moment where Vable has hands on both his shores hang listen up kid It's only going to get better from here. He's keep on working keep grinding now another year in the system Another year of success a lot of experience you thought Drake may was gonna hit the ground running this season instead It takes him a couple weeks. He flips the switch. He's unconscious. You guys are really good at football again, huh? Yeah, we're unbelievable and to your point I think Drake may as 11 touchdowns and one turnover since that variable moment I think he has like 800 passing yards over the last three games There's nothing like playing the jets on a Sunday because you just know how we're gonna end up I saw that squid over there and that jets and I immediately laughed in his face as soon as I saw good lad felt kind of bad form But really gave it to him cackled and everything, but yes, the Patriots all the way back AJ Brown He had a few drops people are talking about it yesterday, but he came back He was getting open all day Romeo Dobbs goes down really they're dealing with injuries and the next guy stepping up I think that's the most encouraging thing every team deals with injuries. How are you gonna bounce back? We've had a bunch of different you know lineman in and out didn't matter Drake Bay is dialed in He's putting the ball anywhere he wants and you know Mike rapes at the home, baby He is leading these boys like never before. Yeah Offense a line injuries are normally a recipe for disaster remember Mike Frable was able to lead the Tennessee Titans to the number one CNAFC with like a hundred and nineteen different places. Yeah, he's an unbelievable coach That's why when he goes back to New England We all wonder how it's possible and from this moment forward Drake May has been back to being what we all thought Drake May was going to be coming into the year Let's go to one half of the hammer done Cowboys AP tone the Steelers do something that the Steelers never do. Yeah, Steelers done double digits Light come back winning it and over time. What congratulations tone digs the Steelers might be the brand new Steelers It's a cardiac situation still with him, but the offense can get you back the defense still plays and Mike McCarthy battling through injury got stepped on was in the blue ten and a half time. Yeah to your point It kind of is a brand new Steelers the Tom Lennon era was awesome. Obviously had a Super Bowl He'd never had a losing season, but there was always a game where you would go on the road as a favorite and just come out flat Look terrible and lose the football game and that's exactly how yesterday started everything
that could go wrong did go wrong at the beginning of the game, but then the fourth quarter the biggest fourth quarter come back They've had since Tommy gun in 2002 fun fact that's actually the game when renegade started so that's how long it's been since something like that Happened they didn't they scored on every single drive in the fourth quarter and over time they jamelle dean who was on the bucks last season came back Get a huge interception so yeah, and that was a game that in past seasons. They definitely would have lost they came back feeling really good And I am a little worried about big Mike in his foot slash ankle on a long flight over to france this week I don't know what happened to him. I don't want to speculate what happened to him I believe he said he was stepped on but I'm worried about the big guy on that long flight over the france this week a little bit Yeah, I had never the parents We we Bonjour Sava a two a trade fantastic actually there's some local unrest. I don't know what is it a bit of local unrest that we need to monitor But isn't there a local unrest everywhere there is a bit of local unrest everywhere but there's a lot of Molotov cocktails unrest Unranking yeah building buildings that have been up since the 1700s are falling just a bit just a situation to monitor this week Yeah, we certainly will and the NFL we know can't everybody put their swords down Yeah, so especially big Mike, big Mike Carthie going over there. I don't know if he's gonna make it What do you mean? Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for pairs where they play the steal time Sunday At stod the france despite intense riots and social unrest there the NFL says the game is on Preparations containing a schedule friend of all events in the game at stod the france next Sunday Wish I wouldn't know in the word for Sunday right there the NFL said we continue to work closely with local authorities and Partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates There's been no disruption or impact at least goodness Don't worry about it. We got Roger Goodell. He's got a little meet and great situation setting up. There's been zero unrest There's been a lot of excitement actually. I'm seeing what you're seeing on the internet. I think that's the internet better be a good game It won't be a good piss. No, no Social football big Michael. Hey subtle Tom. It'll be a good football game Hey, listen, they should try to play good early though. Yeah, not make it wait to the fourth I don't know they got enough patience kind of learn about football ever it stod the france But we will say remember growing the game is good tone. It is growing the game is good That's why we have an opportunity to do what we're doing tonight exactly on ESPN two field pass a man Who'll be alongside me and Dan Orlovsky on the field nine year NFL vet Dennis J ballers Can't wait do you watch how you doing pal life is good can't wait for this commanders Yeah, Niner's looking to continue to showcase that they're the best team in ball And then the commanders are trying to bounce back after whatever the hell happened at the end of last week's game against the Giants in which they tie Yeah, I got to get that stench off of them for sure and the best way to do that is to get a big win on prime time So I'm sure that's what they want to see their fan base Jalen Daniels getting back out there getting being himself being healthy. He ran the ball well We'll see and I feel like going into this game You see us a seven and a half point spread this is one of those games you're coming like okay guaranteed niner's gonna beat The crap out of these guys, but no the way this disease has been going not only in NFL college Just football you got to play these games to see how it's gonna play out. So I'm excited about tonight Yeah, I'm pumped Brock Prody just five pass attempts away from having the highest pass away in the history of NFL Crazy I think you have to have like 2000 passes qualifier 1500 passes qualifier Pass attempts qualifier highest pass away in the history of the NFL He was surpassed Lamar Jackson who's currently sitting at the top they need him to get back healthy for Baltimore We'll be on a sideline the boys will be up in a booth somewhere this stadium is beautiful. Oh, yeah, it's new It's modern was built in 2014 68,500 people they say and the differentiator is it's right in the middle of Silicon Valley And you say I've heard a Silicon Valley. What is Silicon Valley? Well Silicon Valley is actually a place that has Homed the Apple Google Facebook Navidia Intel Hewlett Packard YouTube Netflix Tesla eBay Paypal Yahoo Cisco LinkedIn Adobe WhatsApp Instagram Uber and open AI that everybody loves whoa That is right around Well, so funny enough that Electro substation is right there I mean we walked past it earlier today got a picture in front of it. We You know But we've continued to chitchat about how they got shut that thing down. Yeah, they got shut that thing down. Yeah, okay Yeah, you think they're gonna turn off power to the place that creates all the shit that needs power to be created Just around let alone the amusement park right over here exactly. They got 102 foot drop 90 degree angle How you doing keep moving? I don't know if a lot of people are getting on rides. I would have to what happened last week I will be excited to see the numbers on amusement parks after what we see down there in Georgia never at Kennywood But down there in Georgia with what took place this place has a lot of very important to society shit going on I don't know if they're just gonna shut down the Electro substation because George Kiddles Kiddles goes out or because somebody gets a hamstring We don't like that, but we gotta it was a reminder. We drove by Microsoft's headquarters. Yep. There was a Google satellite thing There was some NASA thing that had some big tall built are they built rocket ships or is there an alien? You forget about the shit that's around we were at San Francisco for the state Super Bowl. Yep. This is a vastly different place And this is this is a lot of innovation and trillions of dollars around here that need power I don't know if they're shutting this thing down for football even on bummed out about it No, yeah listen everybody loves football. We all love football. It's very important to our day-to-day lives In the grand scheme of things they did not give a shit about that You just mentioned that there's all these all these things that kind of run the world on a day-to-day basis So yeah if Fred Warner is gonna, you know, tear a hamstring or George Kiddles gonna tear his Achilles That's kind of just the tax you have to pay because guess what do you want to log on to Twitter? Do you want to be able to search? You know how long Fred Warner is gonna be out on Google? You can't do that if they get rid of this substation. So the substation's gonna stay and it's just something that the 49ers are gonna have to deal with Yeah, and we are just I think we have been very pro shot it done definitely we've been very pro shot it done Mm-hmm. I don't think it's ever gonna happen. It's not my vision's been extremely blurry since we got here though Really? Yeah, are you okay? My back hurts like hell. Yeah, my elbow, too. I mentioned it both of my aiming. Yeah, headache How about you? Yeah, yeah time to move the practice facility. I think we need to pivot to that substation stays time to move the nine we will say there's a youth soccer park. Yep Directly next to get the kids you can park, but just a heads up one just a final reminder Self-driving cars were invented here. Yeah as well Is that a good thing? There's nowhere else but here. I'm just telling you man about the fly was how about the silicone Integrates how about the silicone integrated circuit? Okay? Fairchild what's that name? Fairchild semiconductor help develop the practical Silicone ship in 1959 with some major reason the region is literally called Silicone. Oh, okay. There you have it. So they've been cooking stuff around here pretty important a society I don't know if they're necessarily just gonna change all that up because Football players are practicing here, but we think they should we would like to stay firm on that okay every Monday We are incredibly lucky that we get a chance to recap the NFL Sunday slate That was before we catapult Monday night football into the actual moon tonight's gonna be an epic game We do believe but yesterday had storylines and abundance one of the top five top five top five in our eyes Driven by ram truck now. I don't know how many ram trucks are out here I couldn't even imagine dropping a ram truck right in the faces of some of these people and just letting them know Hey, when I hit this gas pedal right here the only thing you're gonna hear is I'm sure they love good power. I'm sure they love good luxury I'm sure they love the fact you can drive this thing on a road or take it in a dark Ram truck is built for you and this top five is one that is certainly a little bit personal number five Colts fire the gym This morning. Yeah, Colts fire the general manager. Carly Ursa was sick of it Yeah, she thought the players and the coaches have been given their all she'd been on the sideline I think she knew a tough decision was gonna have to be made At some point whenever she stuck with Chris Ballard and Shane Stuykin That was a tough decision now moving on from Chris Ballard and Shane Stuykin potentially Shane Stuykin That's a tough decision This is what it's like to be in the oner seat I think Carly Ursa is obviously very meticulously looked over all the pros and cons of all this I'm sure she has somebody in mind or at least a group of people in mind that could potentially fill the role of Chris Ballard But whenever you're an NFL franchise in your team stinks the fans Demand change there hasn't been for a long time Chris has been good for the city as a human human good for the city Also a lot happened Mr. Ursa passes away. He was a very steady Very comfortable very likable approachable person in the time of transition and change for the franchise that you know Is a pretty crazy undertaking for the three daughters as they go So we will certainly thank Chris the human, but as a GM I Thought his teams were never gonna be able to win that I didn't think they had The right culture you write this you watch the Seattle Seahawks hard knocks they got a hard culture You can tell they got a tough culture they got a team that is accountable to each other when we started here in rumors a Few years back about missing meetings and missing treatment and just like it happening on a regular basis You immediately thought to yourself. That's not a winning franchise now. Was that a hundred percent on Ballard? I don't know, but it's certainly a big piece of that is on Ballard So he gets a chance now. I guess to go back in the scouting or live his life and the coach now have to make an incredible difficult decision Of what the future looks like and who gets to stay D, but seemingly long time coming. I don't know, but then very quick here after week six first firing of the year Yeah, long time coming. I think without winning the division been been spending a place ten years, you know the results
Driven business and then yesterday you're having you know Vinnie and they're going to ring of honor having all those legends and those blue jackets In the building. I'm sure there were you know conversations with your own ownership and look It's gonna start all these franchise starts ownership level then you go front office You go head coach you go quarterback. So that's where all the question. That's where all the blame is gonna go So I think you know, it's it's part of it. Like you said he is a good man He put the roster together as general manager. You got to find a quarterback He tried to find a quarterback. We thought we had it with the few different guys. We went draft to anti-region for overall That didn't pan out when God damn Jones He kind of looked like a different guy last year this year not so much going backwards So it's tough. I don't think this is gonna be the last dominoe that falls But definitely the first biggest one and like I said those legends in the building the blue jackets But I mean even more than that even bigger that once I saw the flow. Yeah, once I saw the flow tweeted out He's not my coach. I knew I knew This is big I use the blue He said that he did what you want. Yeah, he listened. They they gave him He knew that was coach's organization. Mm-hmm gave Seth the flow a half-time concert from a 65,000 people. Yeah, they sent them in a super bowl F.O.T. Y. They gave them they the coach organization was so funny Fox F.O.T. Y. What's so funny? Oh, you guys are supposed to hear me back here. Foxie's a problem Seth the flow I mean he was given the world by the coach organization So when I see him say reset the shoe. I'm like geez. Yeah, that was the last straw That was it get him guy. They gave a concert ownership solid said we gonna make a change now Maybe that was the case. Whatever it was Connor. You're a taxpayer. That's right citizen of India Hardly. That's got a suck for you. You've been owed you are not fuck this guy. Oh, it's his fault We're gonna show oh, I'm guaranteed a wedding that ain't my county. They were up by 13. My cold smile is 15 look great And I'm not calling Indianapolis pairs, but there's been local address For quite some time. Okay, sure we're seeing it yesterday This morning about it, but it is damn near close and I don't know what it is about cold fans They worked themselves into a shoe brother. They thought they were going 13 and for this. I thought we were going I know I get that I get the hope but when you see the product and everything it just none of it makes sense I mean the best damn pass rusher in the draft going all the way back to that and then they're calling them latte latte I mean there's so many different Aspects of the team that just suck. Let's wrap this up. I love Daniel Jones. We love Daniel Jones He's coming back from the kill. He's I guess we're that takes a little time. He's he would not make excuses here. No We're talking about everybody's thinking right now out pierced was a weird walker Oh, we got hurt. He's a We gave him all that money. He was hurt. That's enough. That's the final two first rounds. Oh, sauce sauce That's a good sauce going to get good might be able to get some for sauce here That's what I'm saying. I thought it's going to have to make some decisions here on the future pretty quickly before the straight Deadline, which is in November. Well, maybe not then somebody's going to have to start making these are we building around these guys because that's what we've been doing Are we going to try to get some picks for these guys like there's some really good players that are wasting away right now. Jonathan Taylor All-time leader in the test show is so good at football. Yes, so So good at football. It is outrageous how strong he is how powerful he is. He's going to get in the end zone He's going to get he's going to he is so good at football. We could definitely get something for him now Do we want to build around Jonathan Taylor? Definitely Definitely would like to build around a player like Jonathan Taylor But how long is that going to be Jonathan Taylor is going to be how old and then you know Quentin Nelson He's up after this year. Do we build around Quentin Nelson? He's an incredible football player I would like us to build around Quentin Nelson. How long though? Do we are we going to build like there's a lot of very difficult decisions to force buckner unbelievable football How long are we going to you know there's just like a lot of decisions with the coach who have a lot of good good Are we going to just act actually set the flow? Yeah, reset. Are we going to actually reach a fine lot? We don't have a lot of picks though right now. We don't have a lot of I mean our we've paid a lot of people And I would just like to go back and you can ask your honest question I'd like to you sometimes have a lie-ass question. Yes. I like that. There's an honest question. No sarcasm coming to this. Okay Sounds like there's going to be quite a bit of sarcasm coming right down the pipe because you just did the no offense but now I would like to say a couple years ago. I said that I thought This potential type of building was broken. I think it might have been the word I use broken This is not a winning culture and it was when Anthony Richardson are Number four overall pick top five pick adult by the way talking about like as a high school kid a lot of these beers The number four overall pick adult who's now starting quarterback for a franchise. He Needed reps to get better needed everything like that. Mm-hmm, but he was so comfortable somehow in that building He thought it was okay to tap out of a game because he was starting quarterback of the NFL season of an NFL franchise A good NFL franchise He taps out on third down in the red zone against a division opponent because he was tired Then he came out afterwards. I was tired man. I'm so sorry. I was just tired or whatever. It's like how Now a lot of people said I was killing him for that like I kind of am I think he should naturally know that that's not something he should have But also he should not be in a building where he thinks that that's okay like he should as he's being molded in shaped in this young Age that he was with not a lot of reps and didn't know football that well clearly didn't know football that well He just knew he was more athletic, but he still is than everybody him thinking it was okay I thought was a problem so you start looking into it's like well guys are also missing this they're missing this they're doing this They're doing this they're doing this it's like what how is that with the building is I get murdered by Colts fans online Because I'm being rude and mean to Anthony Richardson. It's like This guy's a professional quarterback for our team We are seasoned ticket orders. We're very invested First of all can't do that, but also why is he thinking he can do that like that's a whole another animal And I think that has been the problem for the courts for a long time We've been trying to kick the stigma in Indianapolis, okay? The stigmas that are football teams ask and that that is We need to kick that stigma the hell out of there. Yeah, that is when I'm hoping for going forward. Hey, a lot of football left It is a lot of football. 13 and four It's so possible. What would you be saying? What would you be saying now? You can ask your honest little question tone digs live in a high life over there with Mike McCarthy Battling through an ankle spring to go ahead and lead a big-time fourth-core comeback within a Roger's own ball They remind like when I we said that Dodds is probably not going to make it in decisions Wasn't mr. Ursa the GM for like 10 years and youngest GM and NFL history at the time Carly's been on the sideline learning And is there a chance that she is the GM? Moving forward. I don't know. We would have to ask her. What about Shane Stuykin? How much power does Shane Stuykin one man? Do we how far behind is he? Are we operating under the assumption that unless they go 13 for Coach Stuykin's going to be gone as well And coach Stuykin's probably heading out there to Los Angeles Chargers To me with Justin Herbert this year. There's a kid baby boy baby We'll see her bird's got a good life. He's got a good life. He might be done with it I'm seeing All right, let's go to the number four So I think the actual airport is right over here I asked Dave out practice in Southwest flyover's all day for tonight. I like that big Southwest flyover would be Silicon Valley You know actually they would probably do an unmanned that NASA thing was weird big dome That was a weird hiding something in there definitely hiding something. Yeah, but it could just been rocket I don't think so try to just get a rocket shit. You don't think it was a rocket. No, I think it's a hundred foot tall aliens Okay, what just standing there the whole time? Yeah, chain down to the table. Yeah. Oh, they got him. They got him. He's a hundred foot. Yeah, you Yeah, that's you know What do you think this up station boom? Yep I keep that thing an execute. Oh, no, in the back was said. Did you hear it time? No it oh In the tent. Yeah, Nick said They might be cooking up the next moon landing upper Oh, okay, okay I'll hear. Yeah, we're not gonna start that at two Brutei Yeah, thank you. We're not gonna start that today number four headline on this overreaction Monday NFC east more like NFC Oh I'd become the first division if the commanders were loose tonight to not win a single game any other four teams in the two week period Obviously, I have the tie last week between two of them then you have the loss yesterday's losses Now we got tonight with the commanders and the Niners the NFC east is obviously a Conference the division that's going to be on prime time a lot a lot of big markets You know I got Jerry Jones cookie got New York cookie got Philadelphia cookie at DC cookie got all this hype and all this kind of forced attention and if that team and those teams are asked it can really make them all look bad in this year They've been a definition of it now fill it up the equal situation with Jalen hurts crazy. Yeah, that's only just beginning That is only just beginning from how was handled what was allowed he was allegedly told he couldn't sleep because this can make it even worse So he's running on 30 plus hours and no sleep going into an NFL game. How's that healthy for anybody? Anytime yeah And I didn't mean anybody. I meant anybody. Yeah, how is that the decision hey going into an NFL game you'd be better off in a Fairytale land because you haven't slept for 30 plus hours going on the field then sleeping with what you got going Well, then why don't fly over here. Yeah, because doesn't Air travel and altitude and pressure all bad change it. Well, yeah, but we didn't really it's like do I live in London now am I able to fly yeah back to it
So many questions. The handling of it is going to be dissected big time, especially because it's a Super Bowl MVP franchise quarterback Who was I think already kind of looking around, but he's out for a season. We are obviously pulling for him Brain for him. I don't know if Tanner McKee is going to be able to get them some wins They ran into a great Carolina Panthers team cowboys obviously take on a Packer's team that is seemingly Absolutely on fire and then the New York Giants down a lot. JJ MacArthur actually comes in start spending it It's like 11 minutes of football he throws a pick too. Let's not get a question. JJ McCarty comes in a fourth quarter throws a pick and goes on throw For 240 some yards and goes crazy Dyson likely gets involved everybody's neighbors gets in J.J. He looks like a very good quarterback for the New York Giants Is that what they do going forward and then it's a commander's loose tonight? Debut they're talking about worst division and history pal that that that's what they're saying with the record breaking no wins in two weeks A lot of special circumstances to get to two straight weeks, including a divisional game in there to have no wins in the division Yeah, it's insane. It's usually a history of telling you this division. It's like year to year somebody else is going to win it So my question is like what's the most disappointing team this division? I think coming into this year you thought the Eagles were going to be good definitely thought the cowboys are going to be good All the talk was a his quiet Jerry Jones is quiet. They're building the monster. You know Christian Parker He's going to fix the defense. These unbelievable weapons on offense. Dak is going to play the MVP level He came out the gates playing hot, but I've been more disappointed by Dallas like most disappointed by Dallas I would say because all the things going on with Philly didn't expect much from the commanders honestly, but what's going on here? How they look last night on prime time? I feel like Jonathan Ganon ran circles around shotty when it comes to that offense I don't think that knew what was coming. They were unbelievable and Jordan love is playing his best football made them look bad as well on defense It's almost disappointed with the cowboys because that's where I think most the expectations were, but yeah you look at this whole division It's very it's kind of embarrassing at this point this season. Yeah, I I'm pumped for the Packers though. Yeah, and for the Carolina Panthers Yeah, football football team ball team. They got going on and tonight the Niners could prove that they're the best team in ball or the commanders could say Hold on. NFL is impossible to predict all these teams that are asked right now might actually flip a switch and become a problem down the stretch Yeah, and that's what's crazy is you know, obviously it's going to be a tall order, but the if the commanders win tonight like they're right back in it Like there's a chance that that because I think you can kind of unfortunately with the Eagles You can kind of just write them off the chances of them making the playoffs with no jail and hurts now probably not great We'll see what happens with the Giants. I agree with the cowboys It's just like they're just incredibly disappointing and you know, we could go from last week where it's basically like hey, you know Dan Quinn's going to get fired at some point. We don't know when it's going to be, but how do you let that happen? If they somehow beat the Niners tonight like they might be right back in the driver's seat to win this division And that is also one of the things we kind of talk about year and year out It is kind of joke that one of these teams is going to win this division and get a home playoff game and a team with you know An 11 and 6 record might get left out people are going to get mad about it every single year about who makes the playoffs Who doesn't make the playoffs why they get a home playoff game? That's just the way it is and you're never going to give up a Potential home playoff game. No owners are going to vote on changing the bias try to change it. Yes, they certainly did many did Let's get a number three headline coming out of the weekend. Shall we the chiefs is still at a chiefs and guess what? They might be even better. Yeah, the chiefs might be even better than they've ever been now Is that because canines there? Yeah, the last 17 games Kenneth Walker that has 1,934 yards from scrimmage On 330 touches and it is last 17 games to see Hawks and Chiefs. They're 16 and one crazy Kenneth Walker is a winner now Charbonne not being healthy for the Seattle Seahawks and them not having their one running back Certainly a spotlight on Kenneth Walker not being there Super Bowl MVP But every time you turn the chiefs on this year It's the Kenneth Walker show and then everything else cooks off of it Travis Kelsey's having the best year He's had in some time. You know why because they can run the damn ball patch my home's comfortable doing the magical shit that he's been doing Why cuz they can run the damn ball offensive line all of a sudden looks a lot better than he looked in years past because they don't have to Just hang on for dear life. Why cuz they can run the damn ball Andy Reed knew it Andy Reed knew it. He diagnosed it and he He prescribed himself the Super Bowl MVP running back being available somehow Schneider had to make a tough decision had to move on from Kenneth Walker in his eyes now once again Not having your one guy there whenever your other guy is gone and becoming an MVP player certainly makes you look much worse But Kenneth Walker ended up with the chiefs whenever we saw it We're surprised and now that we're actually witnessing it feels like the perfect move for Andy Reed at this day Yeah, we're surprised getting the Super Bowl MVP and I can't see the chiefs a locker room But I definitely I don't think any of us expect you to be this good and obviously to John Robinson Jamira Gibbs James Cook all these guys get you know more talked about but canon has been unbelievable year in a year I mean down and down out. He's breaking tackles every game It's unbelievable in the run game in the past game Eric the enemy been back in the building I think that plays a role as well having that mindset because one of the things about Andy Reed over his I guess coaching career was like hey Will he ever stick to the run especially when you have still for my money the best quarterback in legal patch my homes Can you stick for to the run with that identity? He's been unbelievable why receiver production has been there they haven't needed like you said Travis Kelsey looked younger He looks faster my homes I think he'll only get healthier and get better as this season goes on So yeah, I think this is the team to beat right now in NFL and obviously now you see and even when you think about like the Patriots dynasty with Tom Brady and that's kind of what the chiefs are being compared to now I believe patchy moms tied Tom Brady for the quickest to either a hundred wins or something like that But those teams always evolved like it feels like the chiefs have now made that evolution You know in the last you know Super Bowl for Tom Brady in New England They won the game 13 to three they ran the ball. So did Michelle was the bell cow that entire playoff run And it feels like the chiefs now have evolved great defense their defense is Suffocating and then Kenneth Walker. It's like when you have those two things and then my homes will have is Hey, I'm gonna throw for 380 yards today and five touchdowns and win But they're banged up at wide receiver and they're still finding ways to dominate teams like Bucker came through They're they're awesome top to bottom there. That's a complete team Bucker missed one yesterday I think it abnormal for them, but then it comes through makes kicks for them. It's special teams a riser. They're punner He's unbelievable So even if you're banged up and you don't have as many guys for special team especially with the amount of money They have at the top of certain players They're still able to get the job done because Talib is a Hall of Fame special teamer this chiefs team dynasty You're still very much wide open with the addition of Kenneth Walker. It's almost gonna It might be pre K9 and post K9 who knows how many years he can do this But if Patrick Mahomes can have this running back for the foreseeable future there can be a problem for anybody That was other than you talk about how many years he can do it. He was a part of a stable in Seattle So he came over some work fresh getting in his new iteration with this chiefs office. What are they covering? Just so I know if I blindly bet on them ever so they're three and two against spread that's the best they've been in long Yeah, it is still known as a Mahomes especially earlier in the season when you win But do not cover but no three and two so far the season against the spread okay the chiefs continued to dominate or they The best team in ball or is it the San Francisco 49ers? We'll continue to have that debate until one of them lose yeah Let's go to the number two headline a man. Oh Very hoodie Is that Chris angel what is that David Blaine? Is that David? Copper for your way? No, that's Josh Abracadabra the magic man. Do you see this touchdown? Did you see this shit? Which one? This one. Oh, this one. This one. Just absolutely insane what Josh Allen has been able to do the conversation every single week Is can Josh Allen continue win like this? Is Josh Allen gonna be a boy in Super Bowl like this? Well, you asked Las Vegas Raiders and they say I don't know how you supposed to stop this guys about to get crushed side steps Shot puts touchdown key on Coleman that can happen at any time on any play in any moment He has enough confidence at this stage of his career to do these types of things back in the day That was definitely going into uh for Las Vegas Raiders in one Buffalo bill that was gonna be a turnover He still has some stupid place okay Josh Allen will still give you some stupid reckless Outlaw cow boy place that just turned the ball over and you think to yourself Josh here an MVP Why would you ever do that? It's because of his mind every place alive Las Vegas Raiders make this game Kirk cousin with that deep shot. Yeah, beautiful all comes back They tried to do an on-side kick. I mean this is late 33 23 138 left. No timeouts for the Raiders. This game's over right? Nope, Kirk says give me that. Let me drop one in a bucket make this a game They do a drop kick on side with Matt gay not as successful as it had been in the past I appreciate the no stone unturned He probably didn't hit that nearly as perfectly as he would like but Josh Allen yet again puts the Buffalo Beals on his back and wins a game. This guy's special. This guy can do it. I think Mr. Abercadabra I think the magic man. Is this the year? I think he has a chance to accomplish it. He's gonna be banged up But that's the thing about Abercadabra Because when the game starts you can't even tell deep but he's available So even when he is banged up, he's gonna play he is special. Yeah, I think with a player of his caliber with his skill set You're gonna have that one or two bone hit play. He's just that special. You're gonna have that backyard football play Sometimes it's beautiful and it ends up in the touchdown Sometimes it's to turn over but he's great and what's around the James Cook the run game? If Cook can take care of the football that'll be big DJ more getting healthy But a guy who took a lot of heat since he coming to the league with all the off-field stuff and not the lack of production on the field Keon Coleman Keon Coleman and stuffed up big time for Josh Allen is sure I think that'll be big But they won't win it all they won't get it done unless the defense can turn around and play better but Josh Allen is unbelievable. I have a staff here. They're only one team has made the playoffs allowing 28 points a game I believe the bills are currently allowing 28.1 now. I assume they're gonna make the playoffs but only the two
thousand Rams I think last time a team allowing 28 points per game is made to play us anyway. They got a little They got a bunch of camels on defense Camels with the humps no cuz they're spitting That's what the camels do. Ah, I was over there. They do do that. Yeah, I was over there. I rode camels You can't do it. You can't I've rode a camel before. Okay in Morocco. So I'm a lot of talking about this That's right. It's big slow horse. Pretty boring. I'm gonna be honest, but yeah, I've been there. Okay. I've had the thing on my face I've done all that but you walk around those things. You got to walk They will they will get you they will spit on you from the side. They'll spit it right in your face They'll camels will spit on your ass. I don't know if it's because of how I looked or what I was doing and how I was They will do it. We've had a couple of spitting things here over the last couple years Everybody always comes out and says the same thing can't do it still continues to happen I always thought CJ GJ was talented with his words enough to get people going did not know he was also somebody that would spit on somebody Clear as day in the camera. He did Joe Brady just looks. What are we doing? And then you remember this is they wanted CJ GJ experience in there Okay, I think he had been good for their defense and for their team as a whole with the juice this type of stuff came up It can happen and he said after the game his emotions got the best them look They brought him over here to be a veteran to play in big-time ball games like this one But you can't do that. I don't care about the emotion. I don't care about any of this anybody any faster life even even outside of sports You just don't spit on another person don't spit on another man So whatever you know penalty comes from it. It's deserving. I hate to see this on the football field And then I saw him spent on Brock Bauer's like Brock Bauer say that could get under 22 skin But obviously he's a very good player Jim Lindner's gonna need him They're gonna turn his defense around, but yeah, you hate seeing this on the football field Somebody need a Brock Bauer's touchdown bad in the plane. Yeah, buddy Or a concade really just any of these frickin tight ends man. I don't do she got in Danny can take it in there. No Oh, yeah, really just any tight end in that game just getting in the pain would have been cool, but Whatever man, we're on a next week If you are I keep shooting wait, we're trading out here. We're trading all day. Yeah, I haven't been able to figure that one out yet I like that they are trading. Sure. I don't think I fully understand what's going on But I like that they're doing it and if you are of age in the United States of America We would love for you to come join us on the best sportsbook on earth draft well draft Kings now What you do need to do though is a great to be responsible. Yeah, we don't need you be an asshole. For instance tonight Niners commanders. We're on ESPN 2 with field pass camp leave. We get to do that. Hopefully we will be a Enhancement of the game. That's all we're trying to be who knows what this game becomes get bored Come hang out with us. Have us on your phone if you'd like whatever the case we will be out here doing it If you like a little something just sprinkle a little action. Yeah, make the game a little bit better Jayden Davis he gonna run. I don't know special that elbow potentially Potentially he runs a little bit here against his Niners defense because you You know that's what there's Niners defenses. Maybe you like that. Don't be putting a mortgage on it Don't be an asshole ruin it for all of us tonight 815. We're on ESPN 2 now number one headline coming out of the weekend and we all knew this is gonna Be the case whenever we talk to the guy Monken strikes a guy. Yeah, he's a gentleman. A Cleveland Browns are foreign to it on top of it Love it. The bronze refused to bronze Congratulations to the bronze have a miss kicked and have a make kick big Schmidt hits with 37 yard to complete a comeback They were down 10 oh in the fourth quarter against the Baltimore Ravens with Snoopunt Lee and they get a dub this Cleveland Browns team Refuses to believe that they are the same old Browns. This team refuses to believe that they have to be asked DeShawn Watson doesn't have the most prolific game in the history of his particular football career He goes for 164 yards adds another 29 rush yards. Who cares? They're winning games Jerry Judy got loose on a couple I estimate had to touch down on rush. They are Monken a real team. They are a formidable NFL football team in Cleveland and I think the Browns Bronnie and the dog pound got to be elated with the Monken higher not talked about at all first-year head coach ever there Old man no fanfare when he got there remember baggy jeans and a jacket Styrofoam pump with coffee walked into building people didn't even know who he was thought Maybe he was a maintenance guy or a janitor. He's the new head coach. We're seeing all these other head coaches coming There's a parade there's a celebration there's a speech Monken walks. Hey, good to be here. Great view. This will be fun We gotta get started. Shadora wanted you in Baltimore. What'd you do that for? It's not fun. Let's get to work. Who's gonna be your quarterback? I don't know. Is it DeShawn? Is it DeShawn? Is it DeShawn? Is it DeShawn? Is it DeShawn? I don't know. We're gonna make that decision later Then he makes a decision. This guy's an asshole. He hates Shadora. Why is he supporting DeShawn? And then he comes on our show He says is that not what you're supposed to do as a coach? Are we not supposed to let our guys get the best out of our guys? Are we not supposed to wear a backwards hat and tell Browns fans everything's gonna be all right? And we're gonna try to win some games for him and we're gonna give them everything we got the Monken experience has been great and Cleveland I don't know the head of the AFC North. That's insane. The Browns have four wins this season and DeShawn Watson has let a game winning drive in the fourth quarter in Allville crazy. Watson's four game winning drives in the fourth quarter are tied for the most by a Browns quarterback in the season in the last four decades. That's something you've never ever seen associated with the Browns. You talked about the Jets earlier and the Jets fan over He said hey, we're so good at being bad and that's what Browns fans. That's that's what you expect from this team So obviously when Todd Monken made the decision to go with DeShawn Watson to be starting quarterback He took a lot of heat took a lot of flack DeShawn like you said the numbers aren't great. They aren't gaudy But he's finding ways to put his team in position to win ball games, especially division ball games You know these account little extra towards the end It's been unbelievable the young guys they brought in over the last couple of years their producers So you love when it's the young nucleus of your team that are making a big time plays in these games to get wins But the Browns being in this position is it is unbelievable four and two center after week six is unbelievable Okay, so Ryland hits six field goals. Yeah, congratulations to him to beat the Rams. Okay, we missed that Rams two and four Yeah, what is happening? I thought they're gonna be unbeatable I think the shortest thoughts to win the Super Bowl since the chiefs who went from the Browns days stink verse Oh, you're saying from the Browns that are Rams are from Rams that are browns from the Browns to the Rams oh Hasn't played yet. Yeah, he's hurt. Yeah, he played actually in Australia was terrible Then he said he was sure which I wonder if the Rams knew whenever they traded for him that he was gonna miss some time Be banged up. So What did McVase say? What did McVase say afterwards? Ty whenever he was talking about the team and the expectations and where they're sitting at two and four right now But hey, we gotta get it right man. Gotta do it right now. Okay. Now a lot of time. Good division. Gotta go man I hate this, you know And he didn't say this, but I'm starting to think It was John Madden. This John Madden 2.0. Why would they why would they put that thing out there with Amazon, you know like listen We're not gonna do anything with the booth unless Sean McVase decides, you know He wants to retire and then we can go ahead and exercise our right to put him in there He just looks pissed all the time and there's a lot of uh, there's a lot of weight on his shoulders a lot of weight and pressure on the entire team He might be done after this year Maybe he'd be great for on television. We assume just like coach Tomlin has been but he was asked, you know Why are you doing what you're doing and he goes if we would have our normal kick well if we had a kicker oh Low-blight groupie come on low-blight groupie's done this before. Yeah, yeah Low-blight groupie says I'm on a football field. I'm a football player Daven Duvernay says I haven't seen something this boss since seventh grade Boom focus like seventh grade Hey, I think Daven Duvernay saw a little blight groupie coming out and go. Yes. He literally does Think about being think about being Duvernay from the Ravens now he's with the Cardinals Cardinals might be a damn good football team. He ended up in a leg brace We don't know when I'll happen to him. We like a little blight groupie doing this. We like him going for it No, we don't I think we need a little self-awareness here I think we need to not be trying to go shoulder shoulder. He needs to be non at ankles Okay, and if they jump over you charge it to the game nonetheless Daven Duvernay He was like a A dog in a butcher shop yeah, he saw a blight groupie sizing him up think of seventh grade probably one of the last time He saw somebody two and a half five on trying to tackle him Honestly, so I appreciate a little blight groupie going for it. Okay, and he was that's my strategy That's how I used to try to tackle people. It's your fault. I'm just going full body send it this guy. Okay, that's what I do He is five foot four. I'm afraid to stick his nose in there a hundred and forty pounds Selfish by grouping. Yes, that's selfish. You're our king. We just brought you here because the fat ones don't The little stick the little skinny kid and you're coming trying to throw you know, you're not boom stick Well, come on push those go low. We need a kicker man I wasn't the only selfish thing this game the fat so from the car nose when he got the two point Pissed it back to a fast. I don't like selfish football. So I know blight groupie got And look, I hope you get your money for the rest of the season I've heard he was saying his goodbyes at a lot of sad as a football player You like when guys do put it on the line, but well, we just bought you here. We got an MVP at quarterback at some point His defense to get fixed. We're gonna need you to hit some kicks at some point and now you throw your ass here He's like a question a core injury a leg injury, but who knows what entry this kid got everything TZP's blight Little blight groupie is a beast. He will fight back through this and become a good kicker again We know this. He was gonna be the answer for LA. I thought they were going he was one for one eight drill up for one So just think about all the no daughter. You know LA Hollywood. We're all they're all you know. Yeah, this guy was going to be there here Talk of the town. I mean, that's what happened
is coming up with Blake Grupe, being like, Blake, what's up? You know, normally you're coming to football games. Yeah, like I'd be like that. Blake was going to be on every billboard. Blake was going to be in more-- Not even I know, you had to go down. But Blake, he's tiny. He is a little fella, man. And that's what happened. He kind of saw the stars. He drilled that 43-yard field goal. Probably would've been good from 70. And he walked out there. He said, I'm going to force a fumble on this fucking kick off. Yeah, I'm going to scoop it myself, and I'm going to score. And then these guys are going to love me. Guys, don't cover. Yeah, let him throw. Let him throw. Ray, let him through. I've never seen someone look-- I mean, it looked like he ran into a brick wall. Like he started, like he had roller blades on him. Oh, my God. Every day was so excited, you know? Think about him running. Think about going out of bounds. Seeing Grupe come and being like, yeah, right, dude. The hell's this? Yes. Yeah. I did a good spot. We give him a shoulder to chew on. With all due respect, I mean, Grupe comes into frame on that high level. The player can save the enemy. He's 22 miles an hour. And if it wasn't looking, he's a bad out of hell. If you have 11 played Grupe's on your defense, guess what? You're going undefeated. Because you're not getting ready for it. I don't think so. He doesn't budge. Because they're just throwing high. OK, if you've got 11 played Grupe's-- Oh, my God. --that game's going to be played at 6. Yeah, I'm talking about it here. I'm talking about it here. You can't measure what you're doing here. Grupe's in here. TZP's play. We love you here. Thank you for doing that. Join us now, my guy. Miles and Miles, a heart. Might be a guy who has an update on Miles Garrett and maybe Blake Grupe when we're going to see him again as he was addressing his teammates. And he just met a few days ago as he disappears into at least one surgery we assume. Joining us, Senior NFL Insider, for instance, yeah. I'm so much happier. Adam Schaefter. Hey, Schaefter. Hey, Schaefter. Schaefter, any updates on Grupe? Grupe. He's now Gruper. He's being fed to the fifth. Hey, Schaefter. You can't do that. You can't do that. I'm not going to take this. This is positionism. If this was any other position, you would not do that type of shit. OK, Schaefter, I do not like that. Now, on that note, Grupe, we love you. We appreciate what you did for your coach. And we wish you luck. But boy, that looked terrible. That looked terrible. It looked like it was painful. And-- Foxy loves showing it. I was on a Monday night countdown group text. And Jason Kelsey immediately sends in her. I'd like to us talk about what happened. Enough. OK, enough. The guy's going through. OK, let's talk about some other story lines that are developing. Miles Garrett, OK, let's stay with the Los Angeles Rams. When should we be expecting that? And Sean McVey, Ty Schmidt alluded to it. A lot of Sean McVey might be done after this season rumors, because I know everybody thinks Sean McVey has so much money available in broadcasting. And Madden only did it eight years. McVey's already won a Super Bowl. His name's already cemented as a guy who's a good coach. Is there any chatter about what's going on with the Rams? And when should we expect Miles, chef, do you? Well, the Rams were hoping to keep winning games so that they could take their time with Miles. But the more they lose, the more I think they're going to be a little bit impatient to get them back there. They want to make sure he's right before they bring him back. I think we're on a week to week watch here with Miles Garrett. I haven't heard that he's coming back this week, but I think that they're going to get that moving. Sean McVey, Sean McVey could do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. And he has talked recently about how he's found her new joy in coaching. So just because this season hasn't worked out, I don't know that automatically you're looking at becoming a broadcaster right now. Whenever he wants, he could go being a booth and be a great broadcaster and make a ton of money doing it, whenever he wants. But he, again, I go back to what he said recently. Like he had those thoughts a few years back three, four years ago, where he was debating whether he wanted to keep coaching. He went back to coaching and he's talked about the fact that he's very happy he did that. So I haven't heard anything change from that. But when you lose games and you go through a season like this, anything's always possible. Yeah, especially without started ass in Australia. And then it hasn't got better. And us not seeing Miles Garrett and Aaron Donut on a field together feels like we've been robbed of watching the Avengers a ball. Maybe it happens before the end of season. A lot of games left speaking of a lot of games left. Chris Bauer won't see him in Indianapolis. He's in his 10th season as general manager when he found out this morning that he's been let go. How do you think we got to this decision? And what do you think the codes do now? Because Chefty, trade deadlines in November. There's a lot of guys on that team that could potentially be pretty valuable at the trade deadline if we were looking to do a complete reset. Dodd's assistant general manager is now actual GM. Is he the one making those decisions now going for it? Can you just kind of describe the situation over there in Indianapolis? Well, he'll be leading those decisions. Obviously, he'll lean on ownership before he makes any of those decisions. If they decide to trade away players for picks, they're without their first round draft pick that the jets have in return for the sauce gardener trade, which today would be a top 10 pick. And the jets are sitting in a good spot with that pick. And so the cults can recoup picks with some veterans. If that's what they would decide to do here. When you say how we got here, well, I think it culminates in a loss to the previously winless Titans. I think we go back to last year when they took a big swing, a big swing at sauce gardener when they were up to the great start with Daniel Jones playing quarterback. And then Daniel Jones goes down and sauce gardener and the cults can't win a game. And everything from that point on seemed to go south. And then if you want to go back, and I think you said it well earlier, Pat, I think we go back to Andrew Luck. Like when Andrew Luck walks away from the game, they never cover there's the list of quarterbacks there. In 2018, Andrew Luck is the starter on opening day. And that sets in motion a chain of events that includes them starting Jacobi Percept, Philip Rivers Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, Anthony Richardson, Daniel Jones. And still not exactly knowing their quarterback at the future. Daniel Jones, they're treating that way. Daniel Jones has the ability to be that way. But this is an organization today that essentially made a big change at GM, which now leads to other questions about the future of the franchise. We'll see where they go from here. But to me, there's a lot of spots that you could look back on with Chris Ballard, who I always felt to handle him so very well and did a great job. But they made the decision today to move on. Yeah, he's a good man. And I think that's why you guys all want to be kind to him because he is a very good man. We agree he's a good man. We haven't won an AFC South in forever. He's never won one with him as general manager. And that Andrew Luck thing did set him back behind the April for sure. I mean, that's tough, generational player. I mean, stud, potential greatest of all time whenever he's done for him to walk away when he did. Chris have been chasing it. Had an ample time to figure it out, including a number four overall pick, which doesn't work out. What's the future look like? We shall see. OK, last question from me before the boys have some. Shafty, scary stuff coming on Philadelphia with Jalen Hertz news today that he was told he shouldn't sleep because that can potentially make it worse. Now we're getting a full diagnosis. Can you just kind of catch us up on everything Jalen Hertz right now? And what this means for him, the person. Forget about the rest of the season. Is he all right? Like is he going to be OK? Well, I think you start there. And they talked in the release. His agents released from the cold land about how he's now stable and his prognosis is good. And it's going to be OK. That's the most important thing that is health is OK. Once you get past that, which obviously is the most important issue, then we could start to get into what happened here, football questions, all sorts of things like that. And so I think it starts in Chicago when he gets cleated in the calf. And that is what you call being provoked. That provoked the blood clot that came to light while they're in London. And he spent Saturday night a good portion of the night in the hospital undergoing tests. Now again, this is some of the information I have. Obviously there's some areas that we don't know yet. And we'll come out. I'm sure over time. He's in the hospital that Saturday night. He gets tests. And they make the determination that he's good enough to play on Sunday. And he gets through the game. And they make the determination he's OK enough to fly home. And again, when they sent him for tests Wednesday night in Philadelphia, that was supposed to be an ultrasound that was relatively routine. And I think that they found, at that point, the blood clot had moved. And once it's moving, that's where there's major danger and risk involved. I think that surprised everybody at that point in time that it was moving. And so he went to continue to get more and more treatment with more and more doctors, more and more specialists to get as much information as he could. And sometimes Saturday, they got word that the blood clots had spread. And that they obviously had gone to his lungs. And I think Saturday, all along this thing, continue to get worse and worse. And again, when he has the initial injury OK, we're going to treat that. Then they go to London. It's a little bit more than they get back home. Well, we're going to send him to be tested. Then it turns out to be a little bit more. And then a little bit more. It just kept getting worse all along. And again, you hope he's OK. It winds up with them putting him on IR on Saturday after a lot of different medical consultations. Now he's out for a minimum of three months, which, today's October 19th, as soon as he could be back, would be January 19th. And that's if everything went perfect. So you see.
is essentially over and you hope that he's gonna be okay and obviously a wild situation. A couple things here don't want to do silver lining but silver lining they figured this out and he's still alive okay that's really good news because what Kirk Herb Street talked about about it going through your heart I think lungs not good either I think it can damage your lungs permanently as well from my understanding could be where a lot of pain comes from in that particular aspect we hope Jalen Hertz gets better every decision that was made for Jalen Hertz his health though is gonna be dissected going forward as you know I would assume you know especially looking back to pendant once is did they say you shouldn't sleep did I read that did we see that somebody I had that's been reported by multiple people I I was unaware of that I had not heard that but but that's out there yes wow I mean I guess laying that so either that or I assume is something like Herbie where you know he when he fell asleep it went through his heart and they're just worried that if that were to happen he'd like pass away in his sleep or something I don't know so he had to stand up probably the whole time or just upright in like a hospital bed I don't understand how I have no sleep for 30 hours going into an NFL football game a quarterback is safer than crazy they had to play it yeah and then a great first half for me yeah quite well yeah and then yeah with everything going on absurd scene okay the boys have some questions shall we I know you're going to love this one because Michigan man go ahead Tom yeah Shafty obviously watch the Saints in the Giants play yesterday and then the you know the Giants make a quarterback change in JJ McCarthy actually looked pretty good in that one is are they going to stick with that decision how do we know what's going on in there and then speaking of the Saints they're traveling to France with the Steelers what's the latest on that because of the local unrest well the Saints and the Steelers I mean I think that they've asked questions but the NFL has come out and said the game is going to go on and the Saints executive Greg Bensel released a statement on behalf of the team yesterday saying the game is going to go on and so even though we see all the riding and all the social unrest and wonder well how can you play a game you're they're going on that that's their outlook and that's their perspective so that game according to the NFL the Saints that's happening on Sunday now you asked about JJ McCarthy they they bench James Winston yesterday JJ McCarthy comes in and in one quarter one quarter throws for 243 yards so that means if you played if you know full game you throw for almost a thousand yards which would be the NFL record so after the game John Harball would not commit to either quarterback they're going to take some time they say to reach a decision we'll see what they decide I know when we're doing get up this morning the the guys were of the mind that they think JJ will wind up being the starter I think the thinking is here we we James I want James on every one of my teams I love listening to the guy I love being around the guy they kind of know what James is James is a great backup and he's a great feeling starter but we don't know what JJ is you don't know the upside there for a former 10th overall pick and so I think their feeling was that we might see JJ get a chance here this week and we'll see which on Harball ultimately decides but JJ play great and and we'll see what direction they go now that was Adam Scheffler that said riding in Paris we said unrest so just so everybody's keeping tabs at home we see what it is local unrest chef these these ways alright see what it is yep but it's just unrest maybe they get some rest in NFL football comes around speaking of rest the guy might be coming back off of a long time and I know there's a team that be excited about that go ahead time yes chef the any update on Micah Parsons it seems like everyone's got a different idea of when he's actually going to come back and then also Josh Jacobs is off the commissioners exemplis and he should be available for next week is there an additional suspension that he's going to have to serve or what do you know about both those situations Josh Jacobs I expect to play on Sunday against the Detroit Lions the league has left open the investigation and the idea that it reserves the right to suspend him if there is additional information that surfaces so I think the league views it now as the six games that he missed is the time served with the league having the right to go back to be able to suspend him if it is warranted but right now Josh Jacobs is going to be in uniform playing Sunday against the Detroit Lions Micah last week when Micah had said that he was targeting the Cowboys I was told he wasn't close Micah has come out on his podcast and talked about the fact that it's very important for him to have everything working the way that it should so that he's not risking himself physically before he's actually ready they haven't even opened the practice window on him yet now the Patriots did that last week and AJ Brown played the same week so I guess that's always possible with Micah Parsons here but I'm not anticipating that right now for some of these games against the Lions they play the Panthers I believe after that the Panthers after that on a short week there's a short week a Thursday night game so it's tough to get him back in a short week then they play New England third game and that's a divisional game against the Vikings before a buy and I'm doing this up top my head so I was watching you dig for a deep there in the right side of the category I think their decision will be is he ready is he ready in early November or do they hold them out through the buy to get a extra time there it is yeah so so right exactly exactly what I said Caroline a New England Minnesota buy and then the Los Angeles Chargers that'd be pretty late in the season week 12 you'd be coming but oh sorry Los Angeles Ram sorry that'd be week 12 he'd come back whenever we were being come on man that gonna play for another month said you want him healthy I do I do want him healthy but I do ask him why he says you want him healthy I do want him healthy but he wants him back over twenty-five man thanks get on your stride and Mike into the mix I want him healthy I do but cheese week 12 would be a crazy difference from what we were here in with weeks yeah along with him saying it feels a suitable I'll be playing yeah he did say that I was promised he was going to play against the Cowboy so many words I know look on these injury things you just have to wait like he's going to determine when that is whether that's whether that's Carolina or New England like when he's ready he'll play it I don't think it's far off okay let's talk about another game changer Ravens lose the bronze but Snoop got a win in his relief go ahead debug yeah we thought it was an outside chance it would more have been able to play last week what's it looking like for him next week to return against the bangles after missing two games here's what I would say I'm going to put Lamar in the same category as Micah Parsons in regards to this I think going into last week going into two weeks there was somebody sent to me they thought he was going to play against Atlanta and he never practiced and then going to last week I think there were people that were optimistic that he had a chance a real chance to get back and then my understanding is he went out ran his ankle didn't feel exactly right never practiced and so I think they felt all along if you look at the schedule they play Cincinnati this week at Buffalo Jacksonville so they're headed into the teeth of their schedule and Tyler only played well when he's been in there played well on Sunday night in Atlanta I think that they felt like they going to Cleveland play well with Tyler Huntly give Lamar another week and then hopefully get Lamar back against the bangles but ultimately again it comes back to how Lamar feels like he's feeling and whether he can go do I think I'll play this week my my guess would be yes I think we'll see Lamar that's my guess but he ultimately is the one that's gonna determine how he feels in the practice but what are you doing there Pat yeah I'm trying to move this thing we got a lot of new equipment here the people have done a great job but it's everywhere there's wires everywhere but I do appreciate it so I'm trying to move it Lamar Jackson coming back playing football would be fantastic he's not going to play till he's 100% healthy this is basically a contract here for Lamar Jackson is that accurate yeah but I don't I don't think that that's the reason that he hasn't no no no I'm just saying he's not I mean if this is a contract here he's going to be 100% healthy whenever he gets on the field he's not gonna I'm not saying he's holding out for a contract because he's the one that decided to do that I'm just saying we have to make sure we keep everything in context here this is technically a contract here for Lamar Jackson the way we should view this you should view it though yes that's crazy that Lamar Jackson's potentially available after this yeah no way okay we got another we have one minute before a hard out we have to hit at least the situation L.A. and tonight so please be quick and put it all together go ahead Connor yeah it's up to real quick the charges are burning down are they going to blow it up as Herbert gonna Andrew Luck retire early and John Harbour and Mike Daniel are they safe are we gonna get some changes whether it's offense or head coach Jim Jim excuse me I think Jim Harbour addressed it after the game I think when you're going into a bi-week like this anything's possible um especially with the assistant coaching staff so I think everybody's just watching that situation to see what Jim Harbour decides he wants to do tonight you got the 49ers and the commanders my guess is we'll see Mike Evans back they want to see how he's gonna feel pregame but sounds like they're optimistic they'll get him back commanders first game since they went through what they did last week um they practiced that exact scenario and practiced this week we got six seconds okay I like that you're the best chef we'll be back on the other side with Daniel Lomsky goodbye
>> This is the greatest sand we wrap up week six of the NFL season this evening here in Santa Clara, California is the perfect San Francisco 49ers host. The Washington commanders who has certainly displayed some imperfections over the last few weeks. Niners look to remain undefeated. Commanders look to show to their fans and to ownership probably that they're a competent football team after what happened at the end of last weeks. New York giants mishap where they end up tying each other after Jayden Daniels for some reason does time with no timeouts, no sense of urgency, don't get a game winning kick and walk out of there thinking to yourself, is that a professional football team tonight? They can change the course of history for this year's team, getting a massive win over the 49ers. Now, it's not just the NFL that had a massive weekend, college football was spectacular. It was an honor to be out in Provo. Our brother Pat had some prophetic words whenever I picked a BYU coupes to beat the Notre Day Myrish Ace ten and a half point dogs. It felt special on that campus. It was certainly an abnormal place for us to go to. I don't think I could have ever experienced something like that before. I don't think I could have described what it was going to be like before getting there. I don't think words were ever put into really what it was. Shout out to my dude here, Mr. Smith getting a huge win. They rushed and stormed the kicking field, that's the first time we've had that happen. They were lined up since Tuesday trying to get in there to celebrate college game day. They treated all of us so incredibly kindly. We are very grateful. And then for Ryan and Swini and Austin and Tasem and all the other storm and Mormons to experience that big time dub at night, that's what college football is all about. Magical moments that universities and communities get to have together in a massive win. Notre Dame still has the playoffs in front of them if they're able to win out. They got Miami in a few weeks, but this BYU team is now ranked number two in the country. Embare Buckmeyer is the truth, ran for two, caught one, threw for another. The ref got out of the way in a big way, but they get the dub over Notre Dame. Anything else happen on a monumental Saturday in college football history. Let's go to one half of the hammer. Cowboys, AP tone. What took place on the biggest Saturday maybe college football has had in some time? Yeah, a ton ever. A ton happened. Obviously this one comes down to the last second. You know what else came down the last second? The number one team in the country lost to Auburn on a last second kick there in that situation. Miami. The Hurricanes went to two overtime against the Florida Seminals. High State and IU, that one literally came down to the last play, a foot out of bounds from Nick Marsh in that situation. That one was huge. Tennessee and Bama Tennessee, smoking cigars, fifth straight home win in that rivalry. That one was insane. Florida in Texas. Texas is now on the hot seat with two losses. Florida gets back on the right track after an upset down. In Texas Kentucky goes down to Oklahoma. They get another huge win. Utah wins by three against Colorado. UCLA stays undefeated against Wisconsin, Houston, one by three against Oklahoma, state and a crazy one. Northwestern came back against Michigan state, Oregon came back against Nebraska, W and a absolute barn burner against Cincinnati. It was probably the most one of the most insane Saturdays that I've ever witnessed. Oh, yeah, college football. Love it. Keep bringing it this upcoming weekend, not a lot of marquee matchups, but it's going to be electric. College football has been spectacular. This one here, Josh Hoover, if he throws that a little bit more in bonds, if Mars is able to have a little self awareness and field awareness, keep his feet in, the Indiana Hoosiers have 23 straight wins in Ohio State, suffers their second loss of the season. Instead, two inches determined Indiana in Ohio State. That is college football in a nutshell. What a Saturday. We are so lucky to be a part of it. To talk to tables here at Boston, Connor and at Tysh mitt, college football, electrifying, NFL had some shite games, but some certainly great storylines. I like the way we're starting in London with electric finishes every single morning on Sundays. Yeah, unbelievable. It feels like the international football has been swinging a hot, hot bad. It was something that we talked about before the show, but Travis Hunter. I know debug can probably speak to a better, but Travis Hunter was all over the place. I remember last year, actually when the Jags played the Rams, the Rams killed the Jags, but Travis Hunter had like 130 in the touchdown, and then this year, same exact thing. It gets an interception, you know, in the red zone, and then boom, playing offense, lining up and running back. It's a touchdown. I saw he's the first player since Brian Dawkins in 2002, first one of four players to do this since the NFL merger. They were probably doing it all the time in the 50s when everybody had to play positions, but yeah, miraculous way to start the entire thing in Fairbaring with the game winner to seal the deal. Huge win for the Texans. Yeah. Great win for international ball as it continues to be electrifying. Can't wait to see how it is in Paris. We, we. Uh-oh. Yeah. Fantastic football. Bonjour. Savah. Nine-year NFL. There's Jay Butler. Yeah. Very much. She butch. Great week and a ball. What about your eye out there? College or NFL? I mean, you mentioned it with the Travis Hunter. That was special to watch. There were a lot of doubters. Obviously with him coming into the league. If he could play both ways, and most people said, no, stick to one side of the ball, and they may be sprinkling a little bit. And that's what they've been doing to Jacksonville now. Been dominant on defense. Now sprinkling. Get them some plays on offense. And he was great. Kayla Williams also made his return to that Bears offense. And obviously they kind of, they want, got a couple wins, did some things, but having him back in that line up was tremendous. This was a great game as well. He came out hot. I think I saw a next gen set that said he was 24 for 24 when throwing from a clean pocket. So Iceman was back. He showed off in front of Tom Brady and the crew. So I'm excited about where his Bears offense and Calib Williams, Kayla Williams is going. Also. Yeah, I like the way the NFL is cooking. You might see Kayla been the Hemmys tonight. Oh, hey, 300 yards on one touchdown, but he was out there cooking. Great to see him back. Great to. Okay. Where'd you get that from? Cause he's, he's not putting it out there and he's tired of fake news reports. Like it out there. I think if you were to do the math on how long he was out, what happened? It's not dessert. It was probably grade four. He just. It's tough. Next question. I like it. I like the way he's handling himself. Joining us now is a guy who's going to break it all down. He does every single week. Does he know what he's talking about? He thinks so. And that's why we love him. Ladies and gentlemen, former backup NFL quarterback, looking like he's fresh out of selling something. Dan O'Loss. Dan O'Loss. Dan O'Loss. Dan O'Loss. Dan O'Loss. Dan O'Loss. You guys know book. Triple binder is good. This head set right here will be yours, Dan O'Loss. What's up? What's up, Dan O'Loss. Dan O'Loss. That's good to see you in person. Hi, Dan. Great to see you in person. Love that hat. Thank you. Dan, before we talk about the storylines of, man, I don't like how far away I seem like I'm from you guys. I hear you because I'm getting the same treatment today. Yeah, kind of feeling like that. You have one of those things. Yeah, part of it. Yeah. The partition is awesome for the Kleenex. Is it such a place? That's what I'm going to do. I see if I am very far away from you. Dan, I'd go see you. I'm going to be here. You little chilly? No. Just wired. Yeah, just jacked up. Did you see the warming up over there? Yeah, I did not. I was on the V. Did you see our faces? Yeah, as I was trying to talk this way, all anybody was doing was, wow, wow, wow, wow, because you were doing something over here. I don't know if you were talking to yourself or what you were doing, but I appreciate you doing yourself jacked up. It's a huge day. Can't wait to do field pass with you tonight. Dan O'Loss. I'm sat fired up for tonight. Yeah, thank you for agreeing to do that with us. No, thank you. We appreciate you. Should be a great game. Yeah. That's a great game tonight between commanders and niners. Niners looking to prove they're the best team in the ball. They have been literally since they were down under in Australia all the way through. Brock Pertie playing the best football he's played. Do you expect that to continue? Do you expect the commanders to come out with a little revenge on their mind after the debacle that ended last game? Yeah, I think for the commanders to hang tonight, Lou Vu and Sonny Stiles have to have the game of the season just because everything, you know, that San Francisco offensively throws at you. You know, Washington's offense has had moment or excuse me, defense has had moments this year where they've played good football. Chason's been a good addition. Roberson's been unbelievable as a corner. And then they have moments where they just get into these lulls defensively. They'll have to have the best defensive performance of the season with everything. San Francisco, no use check, no debo. So, you know, Mike Evans having to carry the burden even more bird, Pertie, I've said, a lot of people have no one playing better. And then I think for Washington offensively, you know, Jaden and the way last week's ends, I think one of the big things you walk out of that game is they've got to get so much better offensively of dealing with the blitz. The Giants just sent all out pressure at play after play after play. San Francisco doesn't do that a ton. They will do it. They will do it more. I would because you didn't prove to me that you know how to handle it. And so if Washington can handle that offensively and those guys on defense play the game of the season, I think they can hang. Okay. So, you think they can hang? We'll be on the sideline for it on ESPN 2. We can't wait to do that. Very lucky and thankful to do that. Should be pumped. Yeah, definitely will be pumped to wrap up week six in such a fashion. Now, let's talk about what happened yesterday, a little bit dano Caleb Williams. We just chatted about it. He's all the way back. Ben Johnson still cooking. Was there something you've seen that makes you say Caleb not as great as he was? Because that's normally the way you do it. I think Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson, no, it's not I would actually tell you. I think yesterday was one of the best games I've seen Caleb play since Ben came when it comes to comes to just being in the pocket, getting through the progression, having some poise in the midst of a moving parts in chaos. The connection that he has with Luther Burton, I think it was like eight for eight to Luther Burton for almost a hundred yards. And so when it came to like the non splash plays, I thought it was as good as we've seen Caleb in this offense. And that's really nice to see I was, did you learn from watching Case Kingdom?
Did you learn from just playing in rhythm and on time because we know you can make this special and it was that really good combination yesterday. If that's the version we're going to get, yeah, this teams no question going to be an NFC championship contender at least offensively. Caleb Williams in his first quarterback, 10 for 10 with a touchdown, lead to touchdown drives plus 122 passcharts. So Ben Johnson, cooking with Caleb early. We did mention multiple times. Somehow if Caleb can play like Case Canum, this offense might be better than ever, which is what you said. You've seen it yesterday, I honestly believe it was the best. I have seen Caleb under Ben Johnson when it comes to just being patient in the pocket. And if that's going to be the consistent version you get, he's going to make special plays. That's outstanding growth. Okay, let's talk about special plays. Josh Aber could dabra Allen. Again, this guy's a magic man, Harry Houdini used to put himself underwater and get out of stuff. David Blaine does crazy stuff. He was up in the sky with Chris Angel came down from the center of Legion Stadium in football pads, gone himself out of a straight jacket. Aber could dabra Allen, he makes shit happen all the time. This backhanded shuttle pass, little shot put under pressure to score a touchdown, absurd. Everything he does seemingly magic, shout out to the Raiders. I think that continues to get talked about. Raiders almost beat the chiefs, shout out to the Raiders. Raiders almost beat the bills, shout out to the Raiders. At some point, they're going to have to get over the hump. I think they're all expecting that sooner than later. But this Buffalo Bills team, unbelievable Josh Allen football, is that the way to talk about it? Yeah, no question. I think one of the things that stands out for Buffalo's offense, outside of Josh, Josh is remarkable. Key on Coleman's growth this year has been exceptional for their offense, no DJ yesterday. I think they yesterday got to a lot of their things that they love. Kincaid and Coleman, the check downs, the keepers, the screen, the toss. I think the thing that is so interesting for me with Buffalo is like, when I watch Buffalo play, I truly watch their defensive tape and go, they do some good stuff. They do. But then there's four or five snaps from going, cheese. It's another blown coverage by the same guys. And so part of me wrestles with this defense going, man, if they could get rid of those four or five blown coverages, I think this defense is going to be good enough to match this offense. But until they get rid of those four or five blown coverages, it's going to be a concern. Yeah, the bills are allowing 28 and a half points per game this season. 28th in the NFL teams make the playoffs averaging that one, 2000 ramps. They're a pretty good football team. Most point per game allowed by a team to make Super Bowl 26.6. That's Cardinals. Remember her Warner got an crazy loose to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most points per game allowed by a team to win the Super Bowl 25, which is 2011 Giants. And I believe Copeland almost got fired that year. Was that that year? Was that year 2008 or 2007 or something? Probably both. Whatever the case, you don't have a championship defense. It'll show up. It is. You don't even need a championship defense for. That's literally what it feels like because he's he's doing your offense. It is Josh versus your offense. So if his defense can just get a couple stops in key situations, it's not about getting stops in the first quarter, second quarter. It's about getting a key stop in the fourth quarter and giving Josh an opportunity. And we just assume Josh, just like we assume in my homes, is going to go out there and get the job done. Is that right? Yeah, but even what my home's like, you talk about getting those stops, those defenses, Tom Brady throughout his career, there were times through the defense that they showed up. Jalen Herbs, that defense. They played their best ball. So you're talking about blowing, you know, a handful of coverages. It's Jalen it's first years. You're kind of seeing some of the same thing. Same things with Dallas Cowboys defense with Christian Park in his first year. So we say mid season for him for a reason. I think around the middle of the season, around that November, that's when you start seeing who the defense is actually going to be. But you're going to have to make plays. You don't have to be a top three or five defense right after Josh. 12. Yeah, scoring these points and the way that you're running the ball. But you got to be better. Kind of what's going on with CJ Strauss. So CJ Strauss is the playing lights out all year long. The nickel Ryan's now has taken over a defensive play called the Billy. What are you seeing from CJ Strauss this year? Big year for him. Big contract year. He's playing lights out. And I want to know what do you think about the addition of Marvin Harrison and how he'll continue to develop in his office? Yeah. It's the most control I've seen CJ Strauss have at the quarterback position in his NFL career. I think yes, this past weekend was the best he's ever been versus the Blitz. That has always been my complaint for CJ is like have a plan versus pressure. And you saw early just having an understanding of like, okay, if that's the blitzer, I've got to get the ball to my hands. He's seeing the field so clean right now. So clean. I know it's early in hyperbolic and whatnot like that play. Perfect example. He didn't do that last year. He didn't do it two years ago. He's going to play himself if it continues into the MVP conversation, which is wild considering they started on for. He's playing that well. Marv showed up a little bit. He did. I don't want to exaggerate it. He's more like having a plan versus pressure and some of the other pieces. Marv had a couple nice plays, Nico being there, but I can't, I cannot say enough of how impressed I am with CJ Strauss coming off of what he did at the end of last year. Seeing the O and four start, he's just dragged this team. And I know they're only two and four, but dragged them into two and four. They should win their next two games and get back to four and four. And then this conversation about him and MVP and money is going to get really, really, really interesting. I know about MVP if you're not into playoff conversation, how that will actually go, but I hear what you're saying. MVP type. It's the context of yes. Yes. I understand what you're saying. The type of play in which he is doing because nobody expected the defense to be yes. Right. And I was kind of letting him down early. He put them in this hole. If he can build them out, certainly warrants conversation from him walking in to training camp, looking the way he looked to the Texans, having a bad start. You wouldn't know that he's had a great season. Now he's getting a chance to showcase it a little bit. Kaymy Fairburn hits home along. If you'll go for them to get a win, now we're allowed to showcase it. He grasps the CJ Stroud, the mental toughness had to be absurd all off season. Now the AFC stack, we just talk about Josh, CJ Stroud's playing his best ball. There's one team that's been on top of the mountain for some time, although the Patriots cracked back in there this past season. The Kansas City Chiefs look better than ever. Go ahead, Connie. Yeah, it's a good point about the Patriots, too. They only seem to kind of take down Josh Allen, but yes, Kansas City, Dan, it feels like this year. Yes. This year, yes. And last year, but KC, it feels like my homes in Kansas City is almost evolving. Their offense obviously goes for Kenneth Walker, the third now. He's also MVP candidate so far through the season. What have you seen from them on offense and what are they doing that makes you think like, okay, my homes is getting better while they're also changing what they're doing kind of schematically. Yeah, the word you use devolving spot on. There's just an evolution of their offense and they, I would have told you over the past couple of years, I couldn't say they just throw a lot at you. They throw a lot at you right now. They can get into a bunch of different formations. They get into a bunch of different play actions. They can run the football from multiple different ways, multiple, multiple different looks. I think the, you know, the other part with their offensive line, just being able to fire off the football and not living in the shotgun dropback world has been a huge part. And so we've been waiting for like these perimeter players to truly make the impact. But what's happened is Kenneth Walker and their willingness to run in different ways has made the receivers jobs easier because they're not having to just line up and beat two guys. It's like, oh, well, we could run it. There's only one corner. There's free access. Great. I can get the ball out and Patrick's playing unbelievable. You know, it's crazy. As Patrick's coming off of the ACL, they put him multiple times yesterday from underneath the center and just went straight seven step dropback. With the dude coming off with torn ACL, it's ridiculous. They've got some guys stepping up at the receiver position, played at a high level. So I think Boston Conner, your word of evolution is just a really big deal. They have totally taken this old school stuff that they like to do and completely morphed it into this new 2026 version that they like to do scheme wise and they make you prepare for a lot. Yeah. And Kenneth Walker begins an end there anytime linebackers are getting sucked up after running back. That's where everything else can kind of open up. Is it not right then? You know, all about those linebackers getting sucked up. You used to have a great play action. Great play. That's all you were trying to do is suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck, suck him up. That's what they're trying to do. That is a key to good offense of football, especially in the NFL. Need a good running bag. Yes. Kenneth Walker has done that for them. Absolutely. Kenneth Walker has done it. The commitment to give him the football has done it. I think everyone blocking on their offense. You know what's an interesting thing for me as well with their run. Maybe you can answer this. He always reverse pivots out on his handoffs. I don't know why. He does. He's the only quarterback in the NFL that does it. He never, he never opens up left and hands it off left. It's always open up right to hand it off left or open up left to hand it off right. He's the only guy that does it. I don't know the necessary. Maybe it's like I'm opening left. So you pause for a second from underneath the center when they do it. I'm like, he's always opening reverse and I would love for somebody in Kansas City to tell me why. Well, you just gave away the entire thing. I mean, he's trying to get these DB's baited. You know, he's switching the hip, flipping his shoulders. He has no idea. And then guess what he does whenever he flips those hips, the opposite way and they think they're getting Kansas Walker. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. I didn't know he was so fast. Kind of Walker. Unexplosive. And Debut brought this up early. He was in a, you know, two headed stallion last year with Charbonne and himself. So he and his split carries their feeding him to your point about the commitment there. The first game. It was just like, Hey, this is who we are this year. Let's get this as much as we possibly can. He's worth it. He has changed the game and him just taken coaching. Yes, sir. No, sir. Sounds like he's the perfect teammate over there. Schneider has to be a little bit worried about letting him out of the building. Oh, for sure. He's, I mean, he's the MVP. The NFL right now. I like. You're going to vote for a running bet you're going to vote too. I almost did a couple years ago. I want to say with like, say, Juan and then Jonathan Taylor had some years. I would write if I, if like MVP voting was happening today, I would vote for Kenneth walk.
I like that you vote for Kenneth Walker. You have a vote that can be swayed and changed and you will get a bat for your vote publicly We have heard that last year and we will hear that every year. We appreciate your transparency There's another quarterback that might be worthy of the conversation. Go ahead, Ty. Yeah, Daniel on Friday You said you thought that the Packers kind of needed to change their identity and do what they did against the Bears And it's like hey Jordan Love needs to throw it 50 times a game and yeah because of the embarrassment of riches They have a wide receiver, but do you think like is that sustainable and they're gonna get Josh Jacobs back? So I assume things are going to change a little bit But they look like they seem to have kind of gotten things right like do you think that over the course of the whole season It's sustainable for them to kind of go on like a deep playoff push. I'm starting to Buy the answer is yes He is just in such control right now With what he's looking at what's going on? How he's throwing the football? I don't even think they played well last night. I don't I didn't like the way that the floor called the game Either I thought they ran the ball too much. I would have just continued to chuck it at some point I'm watching the game on the second half of the plane and I'm like stop running the ball and first down The offensive lines playing better. I love the receivers. I love Tucker. I still walk away saying I really think this Defenses on the verge of being awesome in Green Bay. I felt that week way for weeks. I think the secondary is getting better I'm a big Ganon guy. I do believe all the the the the constant picture change that they're presenting if they had Cooper And I knew Michael was coming I'd be pounding the table I thought I think this could be a top five defense in the NFL for the remainder of the season not having Cooper hurt So but I really think with the way the defense is playing and How good Jordan love is. Yeah, I think it's like let's run our offense like Cincinnati does through our receivers That's what a golden drops cup of touchdowns Christian Watson if you see his run he has a touchdown There was a couple missed opportunities there. I mean they they could have ran this thing up And that's on Packers offense versus the Cowboys defense you just mentioned the Packers defense had a hell of a night But maybe the other conversation should be had go ahead deep. Yeah, they had dark looking off balance in the week before he was looking kind of Rough to I know you mentioned kind of going into that game against the bucks last week Would they have any answers for those pressures for the zero blitzes and you look bad last night? What's what's kind of wrong with shoddy in deck right now in his Cowboys offense. It's embarrassing how they're trying to handle blitz It's unacceptable for a coach as good as shoddy and for a quarterback that has played as long and as well as deck Prescott to handle pressure the way they're handling or not handle it I mean if you go to the first third down to the game last night It's like third and three or third and four. They take CD and George and like get him into a stack They run like quadruple slant and they just throw swing out to the running back Green Bay's right there. He doesn't see the backside safety on the picks this one by CC's not necessarily in him But you know all Jonathan Ganon kept doing last night was putting seven guys at the line of scrimmage and being like you don't have a plan for it Sometimes five would come sometimes six would come sometimes four would come. They would drop out and I want to give credit to green Bay. It was awesome But the fact that they didn't have a better plan and it was almost trying to be perfect It would be I would be saying the same thing if they were doing this against Minnesota And flow you feel like why are you doing that to Flores? You know you're not supposed to do that and they continue to do it last night So the I put it squarely on Brian shot on armor and deck Prescott just not having a good clear plan for how they wanted to handle the Different picture presentation from green Bay. Yes, so it was the first game in which deck Prescott through multiple Interceptions targeting CD lamp CD turns into a DB pretty good CD can turn into DB pretty quick and break that thing up if need be He also wins those 50 50 balls more often than not did not work out for the cowboys. Everybody might be scared speaking of being scared I thought that's what it was supposed to look like with the chargers. Oh, I thought Dan I thought that's what it was supposed to look like What I was guarantees Justin Herbert would be in the MVP conversation midway through November What's the one I have wrong right now? What's the date? There's a couple? I think that's the one They got October 19 the charges got some one got a month. Oh, we don't know. Oh, I'm seeing I like it. I like it. Some family. Some ones. Yeah, some fans. Yeah, fans have families too. Right. There's a lot more fans in one coach. Did you see the first offensive snap of the game for the charges? Disgusting. Did you see the first? They ran like some shotgun weird motion fake reverse jets. We throw swing pass to an unblocked corner and I'm like Daniel for you. Thank you. Doesn't he? What is cool play? I got it's not going to work. Hey, Geneley. Do you think? Do you think it's because Justin Herbert doesn't have the pizzazz a two-oh on a football field that's why the offense isn't working? Do you think McDaniel has given up on his style of offense? And he's not even trying to implement it for Justin Herbert. Why do you think we're not seeing this success out of Justin Herbert and McDaniel? That we thought we're going to see yet another week. I mean, this is one of the most disappointing things we have seen in the history of ball. This guy was supposed to be on the rise to get MVP conversation is what you're saying. You weren't the only one saying a lot of people are saying that we had McDaniel on the day he was signing his offense. Coordinator for charges. We can't wait to see you cook. We can't wait to see what you and Herbert do. There was videos out of training camp saying, oh my God, I've never had a quarterback that could do that. You know what he's never had a quarterback to lose this much. I mean, they stink. Yeah, they're offensive tape is awful to watch and it is week by week. I don't know the why I honestly don't know. I'd love to sit here and tell you. I mean, I just think it. Oh, Dan, I before you go to know let me read. I do. I see that. I don't know three words. That's why you have six weeks worth of notes in there. Because they want to even look at the charges you say I'll know. And if I research or put out 2026 charges of the first team start 0 and 6 average 15 or fewer points per game and have 15 plus give away. Jesus 2009 Titans any time you're with the Titans not good coats lost at a Titans general manager gets fired. You get you get in in the conversation with 2009 Titans. Somebody's probably going to get fired to be to start season six with 10 plus giveaways in 15 plus X taking over less 30 years first. Justin Herbert Eli Manning 2013. So what Dan just I don't need to hear. I'll know. I need to hear what the hell happened. Yeah, well, I think it is the spot on example of. Scheme and player. Do not match. We thought they would. We thought there could be. Remember talking in the summertime. We do guys have said, OK, we'll see Herbert's a throw it hard guy, not an anticipation guy, McDaniel's a super creative guy. And it just is not matching. There is a reality of injury. This offensive line has absolutely been decimated, but that's not the only reason because they were struggling when everyone was healthy as well. And so. I think the quarterback is fed up. I think he's sick and tired of what's going on with him. He looks deflated on the football field. I've watched this guy play awesome football for multiple. This is our first nap of the game. I don't even know what the point of the play is. How would you coach? What system are you running with Justin Herbert? The system I would run with Justin Herbert would be very similar to the one that Ben Johnson runs with Caleb. It would be. Hard underneath center. Multiple options. We're trying to create chunk explosive plays in the past game. It would not be a point guard offense. And I think that's kind of what Mike McDaniel's offense is. It would be a javelin offense. Almost like what a. Brusarians with better or Drake May does in in in many ways. Yes. Brusarians with big Ben 100%. Thank you. Something like that. And you would just go in there and be able to pick it right up. If they were to fire McDaniel, you'd be able to drop in there. I'm not saying that you're saying they have the toughest remaining schedule in the entire NFL and they're sitting at 0 and six already. I mean, it is. No home just. He wants to schedule in the NFL. It looks like it though. Like watch him. He looks he looks like like just completely the last time we see them happy. He was one. He was. Yes. Mocha. I practice. You know, this Dan Oh. In that music video. And then he was doing commercials of glasses on. He looks super cool. The commercial. Right commercial. Everything was leading to Justin Herbert becoming the next superstar. He's got a super famous girlfriend. He's in love with. He's in commercial looking super cool. So so funny, but you guys know the league. They're oh and six. Yeah. There are defenses actually been okay for the last month. They're oh and six. Their offense is historically bad. Something has to change in the organization. Like we we know it goes it. Okay. Coach quarterback offensive coordinator. Like one of those three people. It's going to impact one of the three people. I'm not advocating for it. It's just the reality. And so if you're the organization. Are you are you moving on from the coordinator? Are you moving on from the coach? Are you moving on from the quarterback? Like that's just how this league works. And it feels like it's inevitable at this point. I would think the offense coordinator in this particular situation would be who eyes would go to first. And then Macdanne will get a job somewhere else. Do something ridiculously awesome. And everybody wonder what the hell happened now. You that might have been one of the teams. You were cryptically referring to go ahead Tom. Yeah, Dan. You tweeted. We have some super bowl contending teams in quotations way some outstanding defensive performances today. Who are you referring to? Man, I got to go back to that one. One of them was the Rams. Yes, the Rams and the second team. There's two teams. Oh, you just cryptically Ravens Rams and Ravens. I thought they're man. Well done. I thought the Raven's defense. That's my note. Just waited. Wasted a great defensive performance. You know, special teams left Baltimore down again. It's you can point to special teams for the second time this year, being a reason why the Ravens lost. They lost them the New Orleans game because they kick return in the
I think a blocked field go yesterday. I think there was a blocked field go or missed kick. And then I think the Rams say the same thing. Second time special teams has killed us. - Yeah, but I can't put yesterday on just a special team. - I think I have a healthy kick or that maybe too. - But you're squeaking by the Cardinals. Like you're the most undisciplined contender in the NFL right now. I don't think Matthew's seeing the field great. I don't think he's seeing it bad, but he's not seeing it great. They have no play action pass game in comparison to last year. They're way too pass happy. And it's a football team that you're sitting there going, I don't know if they right now make winning plays when it matters the most. I know they make losing plays, but they're not making winning plays. And that's shocking for a team that is won so much. - Do you think it's because they lost their kicker? - But Pat, if he's there yesterday, they're gonna win by like three or six and not play well. - You don't know what group he does, don't you? - You don't know what group he does, right? - He might throw a touchdown. - You don't know what group he does. - What about safety? - There's a play yesterday where Jaylin Watson is, he jumps like a wide receiver screen. He gets on the other side of the line of scrimmage, looking at the ball. And it gets thrown one yard upfield for like an eight yard completion. I'm like, well, so I'm like, you knew the play. You jumped the play and they get eight yards as an offense. It's like that's the example of like-- - Sean's frustrated. - Yeah, she's like-- - Oh, and six, including the playoffs. - What, he has never beat to the floor brothers. - Hey, he's never beat him. - They're an undisciplined team, man. They are right now. And I hate saying that. - And he talked about it. He didn't like it at all. He actually talked about their discipline and lack of discipline, even compared to some other figures in the world. What do you say, Ty? What did this guy say? - I don't know. Well, he just, yeah. I mean, we fucking suck, man. Undisciplined, gotta get it right. Gotta get it right now. You know, but I'm too pissed to do anything. And, you know, we suck. - Okay, like groupies, tough as shit, though, I will say that. - He didn't-- he wouldn't even say his name. He said, if we had a kicker, he didn't even know. I think he kind of got confused. He's grouping body on the line for the-- - He stood. - Yeah, he ended up with a leg brace. - I didn't know. He ended up with a leg brace on this one. So you tell me, I don't know. He could have been on the play. We love groupie. - It's my favorite clip in the history of the NFL. - Well, dude-- - It's up there. - Dude for me, just clearly seeing him and saying, yes, like that is what's going through Duvernay's head there. He still gets out of bounds. Cardinals get a big win. Groupie will be on the mend. We hope he comes back. You know who's not coming back? - Oh. - Chris Ballard. - Oh. - I like Ballard. - As the man. - Yeah, I think he's cool, but dude, you swing and miss. And he's swung and missed four or five big, big takes, dude. - Six, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 12, 13, 12, 12, 13, 12, 13, 12. - I'm doing this with my daughter. - Yesterday was unbelievable to watch. - Yeah, we were there. - We were there. I'm a paying season ticket holder. - Are you there too? - No. - You should have heard the place when they blocked that pun. - Oh my God. - It's comedy. They were so big. - I could imagine. - Oh, man. - Was it 2013 nothing? - Yeah, that's it. - Oh. - We had a couple of blown opportunities there. We settled for field goal. Spencer Schrader, thank God the guy never misses. - Never. - Okay, our kicker never misses. Rigo has been in a phenomenal punter for us for a long time. He got hit twice yesterday. That's not good. Finitari goes in a ring of honor. That's not good. We don't have a celebration. And the Titans are the shuttiest team in football. And they get a massive win over this Indianapolis Colts team who has money all over the roster. Daniel Jones has not looked like he looked for the first nine weeks last year, which we were hoping we were going to run it back. The Colts, whenever we were on top of the world last year, unbelievably unlucky that that guy's able to keep his feet in bounds after the deflection. Great pick. That should have been a touchdown. That was driving into the red zone there. We were moving at wheel at that point, which ended over multiple of those times. But Daniel Jones does not look like the quarterback that we had in red zone yet again. Another touchdown probably getting taken away. At least more points off the board. So those are tough mistakes. Daniel Jones has not played anywhere near good since we gave him a $100 million contract. He has been a part of the problem, not the solution. He was supposed to be our guy. I still like the thought of Daniel Jones playing good football. It doesn't look like it's happening this year. And then Chris Ballard, he just gets fired. His assistant who's been with him for every single decision for the last 10 years is now in charge. We got a lot of decisions to make here before trade deadline on what the team's going to look like next year. Daniel, why is Daniel Jones look so bad this year versus maybe last year? And what would you do if you were the coach general manager today? Well, yesterday, today, I think part of it is you're down your number one and number two pass catcher. No peers, no Warren. So that's part of that yesterday, yesterday. We pay peers the highest. Well, dude, you go live receivers. And he wasn't healthy. The wench trade that fell obviously drafting Anthony. That fell. You pay Daniel. That fell. Pears, you pay that fell, sauce, trade and pay that fell. So like those are as much as I love the guy. Now he went in, did he draft areas, Leonard? Yes. OK, so traded for buck. So like there's also been some hits. But those five misses, I think if you're the colds right now, if I were leadership, I'm not in the job. I would be taking the two or three best players I have and trying to get as much as I can from them because you're in completely rebuild, rebuild mode. You just are. That's we can be honest about where this team is moving forward, even though I'm a huge, stiking guy. And you're not trading Warren, but like Jonathan Taylor. You could think about it. So I routed off this. Quentin Nelson, last year in his contract, you might be able to steal like a third round or four. Absolutely. That's got a year left. Jonathan Taylor, unbelievable football player. We might be able to get a one for Jonathan Taylor. For how-- I would be surprised if you got a one for Taylor. Exactly. We don't have any because the trade for sauce gardener. To Forrest Buckner? Unbelievable. You could-- I think there's teams that are play off contending football teams that would give up two ones for To Forrest Buckner. Who? Didn't JJ just come on last week? Don't say he contemplated. We're trying to solve season though. But he's come out and said, I don't like this. I'm not happy. He's still very motivated. Like if you were-- We have great football players across the board that we could move on, that we've all-- we've paid them all, which is why it sucks that we suck. We're two and 13 in the last 13 games. We've paid so many guys. Could you imagine if San Francisco had a book up Buckner back? Yeah, everyone's thought about it. Everybody's kind. Buffalo, and you put Buffalo Buckner and Walker on the field together? Bino better keep his ass off the phone. You know what he's calling? We don't need any of that. But that decision now is getting made by a guy who's Chris Ballard's right hand man. Yeah. I don't know how that happens. I genuinely don't know what the right answer is. Who else would you put in that role, though? I don't know what the right answer is. Maybe Shane Stichen takes over. What happened whenever they move on from Coise? Does Kevin O'Connell then say-- I don't know. You don't put more on Shane's plate. That's what I'm saying. Who does what? I get Daniel Jones Blackpink back playing good football. You don't need one. You just auction. I think you don't even have a GM do it. You just say like-- Make 'em. Yeah, make 'em. Carly. Quain Nelson walks out and all the GMs are there, and they start bidding on them. You'd be OK kind of fire sailing the team? My-- Not disrespecting the players, I get out. But like-- My first thoughts seriously move on from Ballard is, wow. This is a lot of season left. There's a lot of decisions that have to be made right now for the future of the goals. Like, we got to be able to get something for Quentin Nelson, because we might just lose them anyways after this season. And it's got to be about like 2028, not 2027. Yeah, whatever the case, we don't have picks in either of them. So we got a-- there's a lot of huge swinging decisions that have to be made here in the next couple weeks about very important guys. Are we going to keep them as our pillar guys, which I think they're great football players that you would want to keep as your pillar guys? But it eats up a lot of roster, eats up a lot of salary. The next general manager, is he going to want to do it? Down just play great football for us. I would not trade them. No. Us, no. None of these guys, if you were in a fairytale land, would you trade? Would you want to move it? Jonathan Taylor, you need a good running back to be good in modern football. You need a great running back to be good in modern football. But he is a hot commodity, I would assume, because you need such a good running back. We're not going to win the Super Bowl. This year, we just fired our GM after week six. Can we get a one and something for Jonathan Taylor? We made one of these guys. I only won. Who would you trade? It's too hard. I won't say a name, but only one. Because it's too hard to find-- If Minnesot-- Grab picks look great when you go, I got two ones. I got two, two, I got-- but I mean, what's the hit rate on draft? If Minnesot called Indian said, we'll give you a two for Jonathan Taylor. No. How do we need a one for Jonathan? Yeah, we need a one. We're going to need a one for Jonathan. A one and a three. Yeah, you get a two for Clinton. How old is JT, like 28? I think Quentin on his last year is going to be tough. That's probably a three, if I had to guess. Because it's a one-year option. Yeah, the Jurgen's thing. That's the only reason it makes me think you get a two. Because Jurgen's just one for a two. Got a two, right? A two and a five, and they had to send like a six back. And Quentin Nelson is sure he's been paid already and he's a little old, but he still has another full conscience. 27, Jonathan Taylor's 27. Once again, would we-- Whoa. Yeah, I'm not-- Yeah, he's so good, so good a football. He's been good for like a day and a half. I would have said 32. Yeah. That's Buckner. Buckner there, you talking about Buckner. And him getting or being worth a lot to our team, he is. All these guys are like-- Yeah, him being 27 would give me pause then. I thought he was like 30, 41, yeah. Buckner's 32. We don't have one, Stan. Yeah, I get it. I gave him four sauce gardener. So like the next general manager, it's coming in. Congratulations. Yeah. What's the dead cap pit for? Where does the cap situation for Indian 20, 27? It does even matter. Doesn't even matter, forget it. It does not matter. They need picks, Dan. We need stuff. And it's about us drafting people. It's about us using those to get people if we have to. It's like-- You've already given yourself kind of the leeway to do that by firing ballard. It's like, hey, pull the rip cord now. Like, what are you waiting around for? You think, well, maybe we can make the playoffs this year. It's like, no, they fired the GM. They know. Nobody's going to trade for Daniel Jones. Said DJ's our guy. OK, DJ's our guy. Anthony Richardson? I mean, maybe there's enough.
Hope that I wonder if you would entertain playing him soon rather than later. Yeah, I mean maybe with the way Daniel Jones is playing as well Oh, yeah, if you're just saying DJ your God then it doesn't matter what I say unless he starts to play good football again Because if you don't have a quarterback playing good football, you don't have a chance all the other two year right for Daniel Jones to thought it was three for like a hundred right? Three year hundred, but I probably two year whatever it is, but yeah, it's over a hundred. He's a hundred million dollar quarterback for us Yeah, just sign them. Yeah, yeah, it's not it's not here. We just signed them. The highest deal. Didn't you pay sauce to yeah We came we took its country. He's already making I thought there was an extension done I think he's already making 30 year. He had just got a new deal from the Jets got you two ones two ones We can't tackle so on that one. Nope. I was a pick pay war 20 a pick pay buying them 20 year who buy them is playing well. I don't need to see you making your dance. We're two and 11 I don't need to see it. I love can buy them. I Would like us to keep can buy them. I love his energy. I don't give a fuck about how you came up with your dance Two and 11 they gotta know not to put that out. They put it on after the game The social media group now there's some other group. It was good behind the scenes camp on who's telling us the actual breakdown of a real NFL celebration It was a great dance came by and made great energy Let me tell you the behind the scenes of it. Don't do it. We're two and 11 in our last 13 General manager just got fired It's not in the Jones eight in the eating up 13.64% of the Salary cap Alec pierce eating up 10.26% yikes All right, but there's not I looked it out. There's not a lot of dead cap for I think 29th in the league is what I saw good news. There's only 32 jobs. Somebody's gonna want it. Oh, yeah 1,000 percent this is you know we haven't talked about no one with options, but Me Bernard. I know 11 catches yesterday. The player Jerl. Ernie like he felt back in time He flipped the game for them. I feel Pittsburgh was awful through three quarters. That's what I said then they would have been awful for four quarters and lots and then they threw them though The bubble and all of a sudden like the bubble changed everything. OT win for the Pittsburgh Steelers That's fun doing the Patriots are all the way back. That's fun. Bring the Packers all the way back. That's fun We'll be on the sideline that I feel pass ESPN too. Yes Some nice and my change your life also join us. We'll have a good time down there And I think we're gonna be good at it. We we had to rehearsal shout the Hans and honny at the NFL feel like we're pretty comfortable and Big big day with big shrugs breaking that all of big places next goodbye Well, you guys got to get into the cults like that at the end. I don't want to be miserable sending that to big day with big shrugs. They're a ball of fun. They got their leather fucking jackets on and you guys want me to be super negative heading in there As we talk about this. It just seemed like your doctor was down on them, dude. You don't we're two and 11. We're two and 11 We're two and 11. I can't speak. Talks about we're two and four right now. I can't paint the good picture for you guys Last 13 games Me season ticket. What was the record before the like eight and two or yeah, the best team in ball That's why we bring it back. We need Daniel Jones back. Did you see how good is the best we've ever been they might not need a first though at this rate You might be able to get our commanding like the six right here a piece of trash dude. Hey, it's true though What do you want to mean to me? I don't know if he's he's got another year. Yeah, he should go back. He's staying he's gonna be a hawk He might be a mine here I was trying to sell his whole family have one time down ten. I know the quarterback you got might be better hawkins is gonna be gone He's leaving again, I hope not guys unbelievable 27 touchdowns two dollars. No, Rich Rod has made him not made him what he is But I mean they have those two together five forty one. Yeah, five Tuddies 25 to 33. He was the young man at Oklahoma Yes, it was the young man at Oklahoma now He's a little bit older than a young man at West Virginia and our defense can't get a stop We get a huge win though this weekend Hawkins would be in high-spin conversation if the mountaineers just had some sort of defense Oh Maybe he go play with Texas. Yes, here's They'd be unbelievable. Where's where's your baby? What'd you say? Where's arch gonna boys? Not he hasn't got any better at Texas. I Think that's the big question that Texas has to ask how come he hasn't developed? We didn't really get any better there either. How come he hasn't developed like how come he hasn't developed to the way that he should? I don't know because then you got people to say why isn't that on him and it's like well No, don't you go college to get better and then you start thinking to yourself. Well, why hasn't he's a manning well Then you start looking at his technique. It's like well, why is he throwing like that then if he's been a man He passed the academy since he was a kid. I have no problem with the way he throws really. Yeah, I don't think I don't think I don't think it's the one Interception was a creatures there was no one around him He just decided to throw in a double coverage to a deep safety downfield I don't know if you saw that one. Yeah, the down the deep post on the field thing Yeah, I think he's interesting because like there are 33% of the game where you're like this guy's awesome. Yeah, and then there's 33% of the game You're like all right. That's good. And then you're there's there's 33% of the game. You're like what the fuck are you doing? Seriously, I love the manning family. I love arch. I love all of it But you think they'd be able to piece together a winning strategy with him in quarterback for how athletic he is Yeah, but they don't allow the athleticism like that's what I'm saying though. They haven't really and that part really isn't on him You know, it's like what do you want like that? Isn't that like an offensive? I mean like that's not stark. Yeah Yeah, 100% super athleticism that's why there's that a little bit. Yeah, Florida might be a really good football team Even though they had a couple bad weeks. Yep. We definitely gonna talk about that How about summer all getting gifted a cowboy hat and that was awesome. That was awesome. He's I like him Yeah, I like him a lot. I hope they continue to be good or can Continue to consistently be good whatever it's gonna be for him I like him a lot down there in storyline. Have you watched a lot of college ball this year or not? Oh, yeah I love watching college ball. It's like kind of nice to I've got a lot like going on with my kiddo stuff But like in the afternoon Watching college balls been awesome. This past Saturday was nuts nuts. I was disappointed I didn't get to watch you guys that much on Saturday morning because I truly truly I'm not saying it's a love Watching game day specifically in like certain moments But watching the Florida State Miami ending the Notre Dame be what dude? I was blown away by how good BYU was yeah, like how fast they look in there has developed so much big time He's he was awesome. He was awesome. I thought Notre Dame played okay, but the big takeaway was just how impressive BYU was from like a Violence a physical a speed a size and bear playing like Corback getting through progressions dealing against coverages was so impressive Yeah, and BYU as a whole it's not stopping They got a lot of contributors to that NIL. Yeah, I mean, they are gonna continue to get great players bear Bachmeyer Catholic He's their quarterback. So they're open, you know, oh he's Catholic. Yeah Surprise the hell you don't just have to be a Mormon together. They are very interested in bringing people in there that are their type of guys Now they're not gonna bring in like Jim McMahon. I don't think he's going back right now Right. I don't think that is something that's happening. I don't know if they'd be recruiting me out of Pittsburgh So they do try to find guys that will certainly fit in with what they have going on over. Do you know where a lot of them are from? like Nevada Nevada, I think there's some ooze some ooze in there, but yeah, they do they're everywhere though They got Florida guys in there. So just like the Catholic school kids want to go to Notre Dame Yeah, all of the LDS kids around America like want to go to BYU and some of them are incredible athletes So they're naturally gonna go to BYU regardless But with the NIL thing with Ryan Smith and many others. It's like they're able to play like hey We think you'd be great with us focus on ball. You're gonna love our camp. I mean it is the cleanest The mountains. It's like a postcard everywhere. You know the buildings get way in the way of the postcard Sure, I'm like that's kind of true. I remember two team in the country. Yeah, now obviously you know a lot more than I do And I I should have saw it coming with the brother Pat in the book of Mormon I you still call me a girl when you pick them to What was it going until I woke up and I was like yeah, yeah, that's how it happens for you like yeah, I wake up Yeah, I want to see how it is just it you can kind of feel if magic is there, you know, you can kind of you say that Ole Miss Yeah, and they went you I'm pretty I'm actually you're on a heater pretty hot bat right now whenever it comes out You only picked home team. It's like no one right in Iowa picked our stay. I want right in Alabama picked Georgia It's just you could feel it. You can feel it. You know if you can feel it felt special like it felt like it was going to be a pretty Monumental day even at the very beginning. I was like it feels like it's gonna be a biblical day. We've entered an ethereal realm I think tonight could be special. It felt like that just those kids were out there since fucking Wednesday Peter Parker The field of kickers. Yeah, I'm great. Was it when you were like? You lined up for the kick. He's like dream knows thing. Yeah, I did not know actually I was here Tuesday just to watch show had no idea about the field goal Ryan Smith was really pumped They put him in the picture the photo. Yeah, I told her that I before I told her that you gave me heads up I said if you come and you're around that kick it's happening you're getting called in because I want to come support You know I want to come see I'm like do not go near the kick do not if I see you my natural reaction He's just going to be a do that him and Sweeney his business partner nerd aim guy. We're gonna get money Million dollar donation to a million of the kid, which we assume you think Sweeney had any idea because he threw Sweeney in it Yeah, he no Well, Sweeney was there the night before too, where I clearly told him hey you show you this is on you
You show your face around this kick. I get excited. I start feeling Cosmo's coming in from the clouds. - Yeah, that was fired. - They ended on the dot. - That was so-- - I died then with the ball for the kick. - Is that the same Cosmo for all the stuff they do? - Yeah, it's a cool thing. - Oh, that's all we're talking about. - I was thinking the same thing. - Oh no, I didn't see anything. - Oh, I don't like-- - Cosmo is a cool girl. - Cosmo is does everything. - Yeah, that's what I'm wondering if it's the same Cosmo. - Right. - Tony, these Mormons are freak athletes. - Especially, they're a cool-- - Cosmo is morbid too? - Yeah, he's a morbid figure. - I don't know if he's morbid. - I don't know if he is. - I don't know Cougars or religious designations. - That's high moral code. - That's brother Cosmo. - Oh, it's brother. - Okay, okay, okay. - Yeah, it's brother Cougar Cosmo coming in. Elder young. - Yep. - 10-0 on picks. - Wow, he runs ball. - Oh, Steve, yeah, yeah. - Do you know that Steve won 10 for 10? - I saw it over the weekend. Yeah, the one we was like, any at Cleeton? - Unbelievable. - Yeah, he's ready to play. If I didn't know I was going with BYU before him telling me, hey, I'm gonna play for the BYU Cougs today, I'm like, I would have definitely hammered it. He goes 10 for 10. Thank God I didn't have a bad day. - Yeah. - Oh my God, 'cause when we come to ESPN, Steve exits ESPN. - Sure, oh yes. - So a lot of the articles were, hey, they're getting rid of a legend for these dipshits that are coming to me into boys mostly. So thank God I didn't have a bad picking day. That would have been everywhere. And on that note, Steve Young will be joining this program tomorrow. - Oh yeah. - Oh yeah. - And I'll wait to talk to Steve. Such a legend. - He's the best. - So good at media. Obviously great at football, still, and picking games. - What's he running now? - H-G-G-C, I think that's a fun to some sort, and then he's got some other tech stuff. - Greenwich Connecticut guy. - Is it? - Yep. - Yeah, not anymore. He's a Silicon Valley guy. - Didn't his great-great-grandfather start the score or something? - Bring him. - Yeah. - Yeah, do you listen to anything that is set out there? - I was really in the first thing I said to him. I like to say- - I told you I didn't get to see all of it. - It's cute. - Unfortunately. - Oh yeah, you're being at that. - I love watching it, but- - But yeah, I told him. I said, "Since you are the great-great-great-grandson of Brigham Young, I would like to thank you and your family for creating all of this." And they gave up. Yeah! It was. I learned that day of as well. Book of Mormon, hit me in the leg. Now, if you saw this, I read from the Book of Mormon. - I saw you read from the Book of Mormon because people were mad about it, yeah. - Well, people are also happy about it. So it's all a big thing. - It's all a big thing. - Whatever my algorithm comes. - Yeah, everything I do, you know. Some people pump and some shit. You know, it's kind of the way life is. But yeah, that book, we're standing out in the middle of them four minutes or so. And they're pretty right. There's a wild bunch. I mean, I don't know how they have that much energy. - What do Kalani say, sober energy? - Yeah, sober. - Loud sober, sober. - K-O? - K-O? - Sober noise, sober K-O, so whatever. What's that? What are you listening to? - It's not real, right? - What's that? - He thinks the cool girl, your feet real. - Okay. - These guys are jackass, man. (laughing) - In dance defense, it looks really real. - It's not moving much. - But there you have, you have stuff, right? Like, dude, yeah. - I think it was. - Yeah. - I think it was at one point. - That's a, I'll tell you what, Pat and Kirk, might be standing there, dance wouldn't be standing there if that was real. - Whoa! - That's how it's going. You're no ball better than that. - Okay, so we're standing out there, good point out there. And we got four minutes there, out on that circle. So we go up there, we throw it to a film room, where Sabin and Reese pre-recorded something about the Utah offense. We're standing up there amongst them, it's crazy. I mean, it is absolutely crazy. They're banging on it. They got people throwing pop tarts up there. I mean, it was, pretty cool. I get hit right in the right calf, boom. Something pretty significant. I look down, it's the Book of Mormon. It's a little book more, like a little baby one. I pick it up, place goes crazy. Yeah, as soon as I pick it up. And I go to Herbie and does, I go, wait for this one. So this is starting to break, wait, starting to break. I crack that thing open, they all, yeah! Go crazy, right? So the guy has a bunch of highlighted, like, verses or stances or whatever. So I'm like scrolling, we got like 30 seconds before her back. I'm scrolling through to find one that I could read that like would somehow be able to lead into some sort of transition. So Des is there, he's like, what are you doing? I'm like, I'm going to read from Book of Mormon. And Des goes, yes, Des goes, I'll help. I'll help. I'm like, okay, thank you. If you watch it back when I'm reading that, Des is in the dark. (laughing) Des is-- - He was your height man. - Yeah, he was gassing it up. And then Herbie obviously going, let's get into this thing. I'm like, you know, I guess he was just such a moment that is obviously in the land or prepared, but just kind of happens. And we try our best to embrace every university. I try my absolute best to embrace all these unique experiences because that's what separates college football and college sports from everything else. And out there, I mean, they are the school of the latter days since. So when you get hit with a Book of Mormon, Des is staring at you. It's hard not to just-- - Gotta do it. - Yeah. - Especially if I went with a bunch of yees in it. It was very exciting. - You know what the good thing about going to Utah? - Did he write that whole thing? Did Nephi write a whole thing? - I don't know, I have to double check. The good thing about going to Utah potentially this week is-- - Nephi has got bars. - I think that's John Smith, isn't it, or something? - No, he had the plates. - He's on the plates. Then they go down to Illinois. They kind of build this entire thing. And then there's a little bit of a war against the Mormons. Joseph Smith gets killed. Brigham Young rallies crew goes to Utah, settles in Salt Lake. That's how it all kind of starts. The pilgrimage is a big part of the story, though, from Illinois to Utah. I believe it's a big part of the Mormon story. But no, his name is Joseph Smith. John Smith was a Pocahontas. - Yeah, he was a Pocahontas. - He was a Pocahontas. - Also a very big pilgrimage. - Yeah, and why we have Thanksgiving. - Remember, Utah's going to want to one up BYU. - I think so. The mighty Utah students-- - Yeah, they're going to want to-- - Us. - Who are they playing Saturday? - Houston. - Houston. - Swang has a coming at the time. - Houston win this past weekend? - Yes. - And Utah's coach is the guy who used to be the DC. - Yeah. - Loves it. He's been here since 2016, something like that. He's been here. Can't wait to get back out to Utah. It is a nice-- I went out there with a little bit of congestion. - Chris Bear. - Yeah, Mountain Arrow do it to you. - 4,600 feet up there. Just beautiful. - They got a bunch of snow recently, didn't they? - The mountain tops always have snow. - Night, cold, morning, cold, afternoon. - Beautiful. - Kind of hot. All right, let's get the hell out of here, boys. We've got to get our overreaction tweets in on the other side of the break. So we'll let Dan Rolovsky hit the road. Dan, we'll see you tonight on a sideline. - I know, yeah, Dan. - Try it for, boys. - Hey. - Thank you. - Hey, remember, Dan. You don't need to use two and a half minutes if you only need 15 seconds, okay? Just a little mindset as you go into tonight, okay? Do you remember that first field pass? The first hit with Dan Rolovsky? - Oh, yeah. - Dan, what do we expect? - That wasn't the first field pass. The first one we did was Clemson, LSU National Title. - With Adam and me. - Yeah. - Yeah, I think that way back in the day. - We were walking around the Super Dome, brother. - He was with Drew Breeze this weekend. They did great. They did good. - Adam and me always did great. - Did you get a positive sense? - Oh, yes. - Yeah, go, Booth. - Dan, we will have eyes on the stopwatch though, whenever you start breaking this thing down. You have too much information. Save it. We got four quarters of football, you know what I mean, Dan? - Four quarters of ball. - Yeah, and when we get to the fourth quarter, that's when we need the best stuff. 'Cause we're building that first quarter, second quarter, third quarter. To what? Four quarters of football. That's what we wanna be at our best. - But I always wanted to get things in early so they pay off later, rather than waiting for them to happen. I like being right, rather than being. - No straight down. - You like being no straight down, it's. - Yeah. - Shut up and listen. - Well, just make sure, you remember back whenever, you remember when Twitter had 140 characters and that was it? - So you still be able to get your message out. You just have to give it a like the "I'm" and make it an "I'm". You know, you have to kind of, that's what we need you to do there. That's what we need you to do there. - I'll do it. - Fans, are those the same ones from the booth whenever you look like you hot dogs or legs situation? - Oh yeah. - Oh, dang. - Do you remember those ones? - I need those. - Nice level. - You still have, are those those? - No. - Those are good pair of khakis right there. Do you remember this day, Dan? This is where everybody was talking about. - Yeah, that was London. I think that was Jacksonville, Denver. - Was that the game farted? - No, that's Buffalo, Tennessee. - Oh. - Are you gonna do that tonight? - Never know with me, man. - Yeah, find out! - Keep 'em guessing. I'd be a friend to tell a friend something nice in my change of life. - We're just batting it around. - Oh, you. - Everyone just shaking their heads. - Absolute goober. - Say Dan. - All right, the fuck you, dude. (laughing) - Love you, Dan. - You're literally saying goodbye. - We're back on the other side with our every action tweets is Dan Erlovsky exit stage left. He better do better than that tonight. - He will, he will. - Anything's better than that. - No doubt. Hey, not a bad little Monday. We're about to, not at all. - Weather's spectacular here. - Spectacular. - All right, let's wrap it up with some overreaction tweets. I'm sure everybody's really calm. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll tell you what, it was a little tough for find them today because it was just inundated with colds ones. - All right, how many of those did you pull? - Just one. - Okay, good news. I thank you for doing that. All right, go to the bathroom. We'll see on the other side with some of the most ridiculous tweets in the history of X overreaction tweets on the other side. We'll see you then, goodbye. (dramatic music) - Hello, beautiful people. - And welcome back to the Santa Clara College for Warrior. Great morning.
The hardest silicone Valley, you, the host of tonight's Monday Night football game, week six reps of our three stars now. Football! The greatest will be celebrating it tonight as the Washington commanders come in with Jake and Daniels to take on the San Francisco 49ers who are currently undefeated in trying to continue. On their voyage, they may be becoming the second team in NFL history to become undefeated Super Bowl champions. Like the 1972 dolphins, that is still in front of the San Francisco 49ers if they can get a big time Monday Night football win. With us on the sideline on ESPN 2, we cannot wait to hopefully amplify the experience and call a game that'll be an instant classic. Or a demolition by the San Francisco 49ers either is on the table, but we think it's going to be epic because that is what football has been all year long. It's not just me here as we look at the tail of the tape, the rushed off fences are similar, the pass off fences are near each other. The points scored one team is much better than the other rushed defenses about the saying past defenses vastly different. In Brock Bird, he's been playing his absolute best ball. Mike Evans, if you listen Adam Scheffer in first hour said he should be playing. And in points allowed, commanders give up a lot of points. The Niners don't so everything kind of sways heavily in the Niners favor, especially being a home game. But the NFL and football is what it is. Unpredictable. Anything could happen tonight will be on ESPN 2. The toxic tables here at Boston Conor and at Ty Schmidt, one of the hammer cowboys AP 10. What's the percentage of what on tonight's bets tone? What do we need to think about what the public is doing? So maybe we think about fading. You could fade the public. The public is heavily on the 49ers tonight, which is not a surprise. But if you look at it as far as primetime games, the Packers closed as a favorite last night, but they opened as a dog when the lines came out. So if you go by that, the dogs have won 10 straight in a row on primetime. I'm not saying that's going to happen tonight. But when you talk about the NFL and how unpredictable it's been primetime has been one of those situations where the dog is one. Obviously, like I said, 10 straight in that situation as far as opening line is concerned. So it's not like it's a guaranteed tonight that the Niners are going to blow them out. But that's what people think. Situations or situations we know that in the home in a primetime dog situation, it feels like they've been barking. Hey, Mark tonight, you think with the San Francisco 49ers loaded roster? I think it's definitely a chance. Like I said, as soon as we all think we got it all figured out and we know how a game is going to go. It surprises us and goes the opposite way. Now, what I happen tonight, we shall see. But I love that we're going to be boosting the ground, seeing these just look at these graphics. The primetime players out there, obviously two very good quarterbacks and great players on defensive side of the ball as well. So I'm excited about tonight. I mean, that's the best part about NFL. You have no clue what's going to actually happen once they take that field. Yeah, football is seemingly unpredictable, which is why sports gambling is not the investment. No, it's not. No, it'll be an asshole. It's fun close to an investment. Don't ruin it for us. Tone hasn't found a winner in some time. I can't pick one of those right now. I saw Tone pretty bummed out yesterday. Bad week tough weekend. Tone was sitting at a little bit of a smaller table. Yeah, we were all up here at a bar lined across. I deserve to be told. Tone came in late, was sitting down there. I go, Tone, how you doing? He goes, "Not good. Can't find a winner right now." I'm like, "And what?" He goes, "Anything." And I go, "Anything?" He goes, "Anything." Today, that changes, Tone. You're right. How do you see tonight going, Tone? I eat. Uh-huh. I like the nighters. Okay. I don't know if that's good or bad. I like the night. I like both quarterbacks of score. I like that too. I'm proud of her. Today, Jayne Danes, touchdown partner. You think Brock Hardy's going to-- Oh, yeah. He might, he might. He's his dance. Yeah. His dance. The party, Dougie. Just the dance, the party. John Wall kind of passed that off to him, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Teach party, had it, Dougie. He learned that early in his life. And he said, "Let me tell you a little talent that I have." And he is good at it. Speaking of being good, the internet is great at overreacting the things, or underreacting the things on certain overreaction Mondays. We have 12 of them from around the internet, which Ty wasn't found. This morning, I put out a tweet saying, "Hey, listen, welcome to another magical overreaction Monday. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts. The best ones in Ty's Schmidt's eyes will make the program. All you got to put is #hashtag. I don't want to overreact." Here we go. Let's start in-house here. Boston Conor says #hashtag. I don't want to overreact, but the Cleveland Browns being foreign to an LA Rams being two and four is mind-boggling. After the months of conversation about the Rams before the season, I love it. Todd Monkin's boys are taking a lead by storm, and I will be a Cleveland Brown football supporters. That forever, that's another AFC team time. No, no, no, that's not forever. That is a Coach Monkan. I feel like a LeBron fan when it comes to Coach Monkan. I'm going to follow him into the depths of football hell, if that's where he wants to go. I love what they're doing over there. We legitimately spent three months talking about the Rams about who's going to beat this super team when Aaron Donald comes back, which he eventually did. They're going to walk to the Super Bowl. No, no. Monkan's boys is what we should have been talking about. They might walk to the Super Bowl. I am so far in. Monkan's walk. No, that's true. Yeah. But I'm all in. I love what they're doing. I love. This is why the NFL is the best. Because there's a team that you don't really care about that's irrelevant for the entire off season and then boom, we're midway through October almost to Halloween and Monkan's boys just continue to win. I bet Miz is insufferable. Oh my god. Oh my god. Now, I'm sure if you have some cynical Browns fans, they'll say, yeah, this is all for inevitable. Yeah. Monkan's there to change this. They say the same old Browns. They said the Browns ain't the Browns anymore. Fuck that. Now they've been winning. Yeah. Let's go to another overreaction. It is from Bruce Brown. Hashtag. I don't want to overreact. But JJ McCarthy 243 yards and 11 minutes, we've seen enough. This guy is going to run away with the NFC East more like the NFC Lee's Bruce Brown. JJ McCarthy is the savior over there. Yeah, I couldn't believe my eyes, to be honest with you. I was firmly in the James Winston is the guy camp until half time of that game. But JJ came in and just lit it up. And you know, it is a shite division and we looked like hammer dog shite on Sunday, but we're still two losses clear in the lost column in the driver's seat of this division. We're going to the playoffs boys. Parker. One now. You sound like you're in a walkie-talkie booth, but I do like the words that you're saying. Do you think JJ McCarthy, maybe, would join Horball, Lee's New York football giants to a title because Skataboo didn't even get a run yesterday. They got some big time, y'all. This is an absolute overreaction. Absolutely. Back up for the main kids in their plays. This is the best they will play. I think, you know what? I'll be optimistic. I think I think Bruce Brown's right. I'll be out in the minutes. Good job, Bruce and a baby. Bruce. Thank you. On Thursday that James Winston is the best backup in the league. He said he was better than Drew Locke and many others. That was right before the game kicked off. We are in a coach we happened Sunday, too. James Winston was in the lead and Bruce Brown says, I think we got it right with the backup quarterbacks. Everybody was celebrating Drew Locke and everybody. James Winston's right answer, me and Gumpa go better and Drew Locke's undefeated. So is James and then boom, they poop all over themselves and he turned the corner quickly to J. J. McCarthy. Tiesman. Yeah. Can we please stop with everybody? We'd love to have James on their team. Listen, I know he's he's got a cool personality. There's probably about 25 teams who don't want that fucking guy in their locker room. And I like James, but like let's not stop acting like everybody fuck killed have James on their team. I would have loved to have James. I would love it. Let's go to the next one. It's from our bag. Hashtag. I don't want to ever react. But it's going to be for cold fans. Wow. Osama bin Ballard has been shite. I had to get it in 10 rip Bozo. You won't be missed. The season is saved. Colts aren't losing another game. Super Bowl. Here we come. That's what happens. We make a little bit of change. The way he talked about him, calling him Osama bin Ballard, he's been great for our city. You won't be missed. I'm sure there's a lot of aspects where he will be missed airbag though here, really taking some some liberties and speaking his truth. Debut. How do you feel about Ty picking this one and how do you feel about airbag saying we're going to the Super Bowl now that the GM's gone. I don't know about Garner Super Bowl and look, everybody said it. We've heard it over time and time again. Chris Ballard is a good, good man. Obviously Osama is a very, very bad man. I don't like that comparison, but I just got to offload. You didn't expect that? I didn't. I just got. You all right? What happened? I didn't think he was going to get bin Laden or something. I expected that. I didn't expect. My other series. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to try to tip you off. Wow. It was as well. But any. You lose the team. Things going to happen. So. Kingsman. Kismet. Okay. Let's go. The next one. This is Brody Brewer, hashtag, I don't want to react. Ryan Shaitenheimer needs to be fired along with Corde ACP. Defense is trash. Offense has demons outside, but throws check downs at a flat and me pole subsidy defense.
Burn it to the ground and restart we not them boys anymore. Oh They're out on shine Imer you said this is a bad group of tweets. I disagree We got some fastball coming especially down dollars. The first couple were very good The we not them boys anymore that yeah, exactly. I gave pause. I was like oh boy this guy's really going through it Listen give shotty a break Well a break I didn't give shitty a break. I love shot. Yeah, exactly great guy But I I can understand as a fan how it you know when you lose week after week after week It gets really really tiring here like listen. We got to be better. We got to be better You know kind of what what shite stinkin has been doing with the colds Yeah, people don't want to hear that after you lose. It is a freaking hard. It's freaking big man All right, let's go to the next one. It's from Mike done 07 hashtag. I don't want to react But the bronze traded miles guaranteed a Rams and a Rams became the bronze McVeys 0 and 6 versus the little floor brothers Rams should start buying their tickets to King Koon because holy moly they are We fit that one pretty good the miles Garrett trade is not working out how anybody thought it was can Grass a monk and though and Jared first yeah, it's got sent out just like golf get sent out Yeah, no granite the Rams won a Super Bowl with Stafford right But golf get sent out finds a new home in Detroit. They have a success versus get shipped out of LA back to Ohio to leave them browns Basically saying you see later buddy instead Turning around the entire culture good for them. I would like to see miles gear play football good again It too. I would like to see that's why the next one shall we this is from Clint the Haven hashtag I don't want to react, but it's over done fin the end Panics project is fully penetrated me and left me for dead Time to partner with L.A. C the chargers to get Herbert and beer in hot land to try and win a Super Bowl in the next two to three years I love panics, but I love winning more. Oh, no Wow giving up on panics. I saw him go to the blue tent. Yeah early Yeah, too warm it up. Is he out? I don't know. I love them the way when he's playing, but it's like it is signed Andy Is he any Dalton says I'm not going back to the Eagles? Give me a fuck. I don't like that. I'm gonna go somewhere else It's tough, but panics. I guess the injuries are just gonna be the thing. I guess that she's gonna be the thing with panics Yeah, I don't like it so far so good. It has a chance to be so great down there, especially bitch on the good of the next one This one's from Bismarkey That's cool. She said. Oh baby. Oh baby.
