Pistons face must-win game in Orlando

It's a really fun movie You know in Orlando I'm back in the weather that I grew up in and Houston in New Orleans You know they're hot sometimes muggy always raining, but it feels good to you know feel the sun You know, you know, I'm eating well and stuff eating well and healthy Why am I telling you all of this to run because I'm letting you know that in my personal life. I'm good. I'm chilling On a professional side of things to run I'm just hoping that we still have pistons basketball to talk about by the end of this week Because as you know the pistons lost game three 113 to 105 it was a game in which the pistons were down by as many as 17 points and Just like they have done in game one and game two and in game three They have found a rhythm on both sides of the ball extremely late Came back actually took the lead but unfortunately the Orlando Magic Went on a late game run themselves and ended up winning. Why is that important? Because we are three games in and it has been the same story for not one not two but three games and It's the main reason why the pistons are down two one in this best of seven series so on today show We're gonna just give our thoughts on the first three games of the series and it's literally just gonna be It's literally gonna revolve around the slow starts that keep going on But most importantly what is going on with Jalen Dern because to run I've been really high as you know I've been really high on JD since the start of this season When we was doing our season predictions. I say it all star He's going to be the second best player and you know not only did he meet those expectations in the regular season But he surpassed it. I mean we're talking and we was talking about this guy as being a All NBA caliber player, you know making one of the three all NBA teams of course it'll probably be 13 But the season that he was having especially post all star, you know Let's they had me believe in that the pistons had a certified, you know second all star on this team and rightfully so However, three games into this series he went from a guy average in close to a 20 25 point, you know Double double to a guy that's averaging through the first three series nine points eight rebounds on 41 percent shooting to run whether it's JD the slow starts whatever you got to add what is that what would have stood out to you as to why the Pistons are dialed to one three games into this best of seven series against the magic Yeah, I think it starts with Dern like you said and I do want to credit parts of this game because I don't think it's all been struggles But I think his scoring production has just went down since you know the playoffs have started and To me it just shows that You know he's really developed his game like a shot creation just all around has been a better player But it looks like he's kind of looking a lot like who he was last year and you know early in his career, which is like a Someone that can mainly get their offense off lops, which it felt like all of his points like the last few games I've either come from labs or putbacks, you know close in the rim He doesn't really seem like he wants to take like jumpers or anything like that I know that's not the strongest part of his game, but I'm wondering if it's more about him or if it's about like the lack of space And then we know when you know and the playoffs and our landal has a great defense that maybe these are things that are all kind of Causing his game to kind of decrease I guess in some ways and this is someone who I thought really had a strong shot of Winning most improved player It was a prize about it Exactly, Michiel Alexander Walker, but he came in second place Um, so I just have been a little disappointed to see that he has been stepping up on the defensive end It felt like he was around the rim a lot especially yesterday getting a lot of blocks and things like that But that's probably my biggest disappointment and the other thing I wanted to mention was This team looks a lot like it did last year and what I mean by that is they're very relying on Kate Outside of what star Thompson who had to me what was that might be the best game I've seen him play in a long time just being everywhere defensively hitting jumpers You know just doing a lot like scoring wise and kept the pistons in the game yesterday But to me these last few games have just looked like if Kate doesn't have a good game The pistons aren't going to win against what is the AC? So those are kind of my biggest takeaways. I know I was kind of all over the place But Cody what has stood out to you as the reason why the pistons are down to one in this series? I think my biggest thing has been the bench production I mean, I know we can go back and forth on JD and that's been You know the number one thing but but but I wouldn't say to you a point about JD You know want to go back to this because you say something and caught my attention You talked about the lack of space and and the reason why that stood out to me and I wrote it wrote this a couple times after the Detroit news I remember when the pistons came here to Orlando was at the last week of the regular season and Orlando was trying to stay in play in Contention of course I believe at that time the pistons had just a little yeah They had just a little five to number one seed in the Eastern Conference It was the game after they beat the Philadelphia 76ers and I remember accent coach Jamal Mosley Before that game I had asked him with the lead in the progression that you have seen from JD throughout this season How has his growth as an opposing coach? Change the way you go about making a defensive game plan for him and I remember him saying that Preparing for JD now you have to take into you have to take more into consideration versus early in his career earlier in his career Was just like okay? Basically just let him beat you and focus on Kate and he was talking about how JD has gotten to the point where Once he gets the ball he is now more so of a triple trip Kind of player, you know if he gets to his spots He could beat you down in a low post he could fight he has been you know somewhat of a creation hub for this team And it even got more better, you know or he can like you know score by himself We have saw times where he was able to step out and hit that 10 15 mains range jump shot, you know There was so he became a a bigger threat especially post all star games and more so knows Levin games at the pistons were able to win without Kaye cunnihan It's around you so I mean he was literally on the verge of being the top five center in the lead But I remember mostly saying The only way that you can really beat him is Construct the defensive game plan where you literally collapse around him and Try your hardest and not just collapse once he gets the ball, but start collapsing before he gets the ball And I remember at the started game one it was probably the first maybe Second or third offensive possession and I think it was Kaye who was trying to just give an entry pass to JD and before you know Right when he started making an emotion to pass it to JD There was literally three players who literally collapse all around JD and it ended up being a turnover and from that very moment I say to myself this is not going to be a series where it's going to be good for JD because everything that coach Amar mostly told me Literally do I think that was like April six or April seven he has utilized that over the like over these last three games And that has taken JD out so You know of course to Ron we have Tom and Tom again talked about you know talk to JD We talked to coach, you know, how do you counter? you know, with the magic or it has thrown at you. They are trying their best, but the struggles that we are seeing from JD, it's literally a salute and kudos and it hurts to say, but to the fifth of game playing and the magic executing that defensive game plan from Coach Jamal Mosley. Yeah, I agree. And I remember one thing that stood out to me was, we seen as lead in JD this year and the biggest thing that I remember you asked me in the earlier podcast was, what more do you want to see in JD's game for him to get to that next level for him? Because he's already took a step at that next level, what's it for him to get even further than that, like a top three center, something like that. And to me, I want to see kind of what I see from Bam at a bio, now thinking more about it, just because Bam at a bio was very similar to Duran, I feel like, you know, coming into the draft and things like that. They were both very reliant on their athleticism. They were kind of undersized for center and they have great ball skills in my opinion. I think out of bio is a little more advanced from a passing and he can shoot a little better than Duran, but I think it's pretty comparable. And I think for Duran to reach that next step is going to have to be in that way as like kind of like you said, a hub in some ways, just being able to hit that like 13 to 15 feet mid range jump shot, just to kind of give the defenses a different look just because I feel like the magic can really pack the paint. And a lot of teams can pack the paint against this person's team because like we said, there isn't a lot of spacing, but just if he's a little bit more of a threat, which I feel like that's going to come more so on his development and things past this season, I feel like that will give the pistons a better shot at, you know, just being able to beat defenses that are so strong like this magic one. But Cody, you also mentioned something that was so interesting to me. You, I remember one of your biggest takeaways was the pistons have to utilize this bench. They have one of the deepest benches in the league. And I thought going into it, is this going to be a detriment in the playoffs just because they have so many options. You see already guys like Ron, Highland, aren't really in the rotation. It doesn't seem like as much. Dennis Jenkins feels like he's not getting consistent minutes. It just feels like the rotation can kind of be up and down, but what have you seen from this bench unit in the first three games or the lack of stuff you've seen? Just talk a little bit about some of the stuff you've seen from the pistons bench in the playoffs. Disappearance? That's it. No, like that. And that's literally my biggest takeaway as to why they are down to one because on one hand, I know Bikostav has kind of changed this rotation in a way. He's utilizing basically the same players that we've seen from the regular season, but not as much. And maybe that's something we could talk about in the next segment. Bikostav for the rotation patterns because game three, I understand that Ron, you know, I knew going into his series that his minutes was going to be cut significantly when compared to the regular season, but he didn't even play in game three. And there was moments in game three. I was like, they kind of need Ron's energy, but we'll save that for the other side of the great. But for me, man, the bench and utilizing this depth is part of the reason why they was able to win 60 games. You know, they enter the playoffs with I want to say the 10th or 11 best scoring defense. I mean, 10th or 11 best scoring bench unit in the league. I believe they average like 40, 41, 42 and a half points or something along that lines. And within those top, within the top 11 top 12 teams that they fell in in terms of the highest foreign bench unit, it was literally one of only three teams that had a winning record. So that gave me a lot of confidence in part of the main reason why when I looked at Magic and his piston series, I'm like, look, it's going to be close. But at the end of the day, they're going to have an opportunity to get a game or two just off the strength of their bench unit alone. However, three games into the season, they're only averaging 20, 21 points per game. And nobody on that bench outside of Javante green has really done anything. And it's shocking because to Ron, to your point, there are so many guys on that bench throughout the regular season who have stuffed up. I mean, you mentioned Dennis Jenkins. And, you know, he has not looked the same. And, I mean, he has looked the same in terms of the energy and the production that he has brought more so in game two. I think he only played 10 minutes. Once again, I'm standing. I get it. His minutes was cut down significantly when you compare to the regular season. Then playing game three, but at the same time, it's like, you know, where is this production that's going to come from? And I know a lot is being thrown at JD as a right now. But we got a whole Isaiah Stewart to that same standard because outside of one or two phenomenal blocks that he had, especially when Paulo tried to dunk on him again, one hand block he had with Ben Wallace sitting down in the front row. That was probably one of my all time favorite moments just on the, just on the, this beat, this because that moment was so iconic in him, Salute and Ben Wallace and stuff. But at the same time, Isaiah Stewart has not looked the same in terms of the production that he's getting that he was given to the team on the offensive side of the ball. And I get it. Some people might hit that statement and saying, where is Isaiah Stewart? How much did he really contribute on the offensive side of the ball? This man literally was averaging 10 to 11 points coming off the bench throughout the regular season. So he has not played up to his standard plus he's also getting into like these, these Nick Nick kind of scenario is where it's like you know the magic or doing everything possible to get under his skin and game three was by far the worst. It was so, it was so bad to the point. Yes, a lot of people are talking about JD getting benched, but Isaiah Stewart also got benched the game through his way. And that's part of the reason why Paul Rie got got, got an opportunity to, you know, showcase what he can do in game three was by the way, no seven minutes. He played. He did bring something new to the scene. But man, they're outside of Javante Green, nobody on this bench has looked good. And you know, even Kevin Herder, you know, we saw how good he looked to end the regular season. And through these first three games, he has been, you know, so far at best. And now he's dealing with a hip injury and you really don't know what this bench unit is going to look like because now you are taking away your second best three point shooter. Yeah, I agree with everything you're saying. But first, I want to credit because I've been a little like I said skeptical on the rotation was, you know, we're going to talk more about just because it just feels like the pistons are the deeper team. I don't even think it's a question. Oh, no, without a doubt they are. I think that one thing that's interesting about this match up with the magic is they know who their bench unit is. Like they only have a set of maybe like eight to nine guys that they play. I know Anthony Black is part of that. They play. God got batazzy. I think it's how you pronounce his name, the center. And then that canes coming in. He was a two way guy that got elevated. So those are like the main three guys that they play off the bench that I've noticed. And the thing that's so interesting about a shorter bench rotation is it gives guys the opportunity to play through mistakes and not worry about someone else coming and, you know, taking their rotation minutes or things like that. So like for example, Anthony Black has been struggling since coming back from injury. He was having a breakout year this year in my opinion got injured and then he came back right before the playoffs. He's been struggling and struggling in the playoffs. But he had critical minutes down the stretch yesterday. And I just think that shows that, you know, he can play through mistakes. He doesn't have to worry about, you know, getting pulled and things like that. Which I think that affects the pistons in some ways just because that if they make mistakes or don't play, oh, they have another guy that can take those minutes. And sometimes that can be good. That can bring a boost to the line of things like that. But I don't think that gives players consistent minutes. And, you know, the confidence in things like that to through to play through these mistakes. So I think that maybe that's something that needs to also be examined. Like, you know, maybe let more of these guys play through these mistakes. Of course, I'm not the one making the decisions and things like that. But I do think that's an interesting thing to kind of examine between both of the teams. And like maybe that's like a key difference. But I also wanted to hear what you thought about that. Before we get to that, on the other side of the break, let's look at, you know, we're going to continue talking about the bench unit. But we also want to give our thoughts on whether or not we believe the pistons can come back from this two-one deficit. And if so, what they can do. So Ron, we were talking about the Benz unit. I say the one guy who has stepped up consistently for the Pistons throughout these first three games has been Javante Green. I think the second best reserve player has been Paul Reed, which is crazy to say because he has only played seven minutes and it came doing the game three loss in Orlando, in which, as I mentioned in the first segment, Vickham staff not only Bench, Jalen Dern, but he also Bench, Isaiah Stewart. But here's what Coach Javante Green because that had to say about why he went to Paul Reed and what Paul brought to this team during games three. - I mean, I thought Paul has earned the right in moments where we needed a spark. I think Paul is a great job. In those moments, he does a great job of being ready whenever his number is called. And I figured at that point in time, they get a little run to start the quarter. Need to find a spark and if he Reed has been there for us. - Hmm, yes, he has been there for this team throughout the whole entire season. Once again, this Bench unit is part of the reason why I believe that the pistons would have been at least up to one three games in. But to run, when you take a look at this series, and let's look at this rotation pattern because as I mentioned, it seemed like Coach has been trying to play the same number of guys. I mean, we've seen it throughout the regular season. You know, that was moments where he was playing like 12 players, you know, sort of say one game, 12, 13 players. And when I say 12, 13 players, they were literally playing meaningful minutes. However, in the playoffs, it still feel like that they are, that he's trying to utilize that. But on the flip side, it's more so, it's more so, he can't really get those patterns down while also cutting the minutes for a lot of guys. What have been your thoughts on the rotation that Biggest Staff has utilized so far? - Yeah, I think you're spot on. I thought Paul Reed was excellent yesterday and it didn't really feel like it showed up really on the scoring like side of things. But just like the energy he brought, and I agree with what JB Bickerstaff was saying, he just brought a different look to the team. And I thought Isaiah Stewart has been really struggling like he said outside of a few defensive plays, a few blocks this series. And he's kind of just coming back from injuries, you know, something that also should be considered. So, and then this is his first, like playoff experience. That's something that I didn't really even think about 'cause he played a little bit last year, but you know, got hurt early against the nicks. But one thing to answer your question that I do wanna see is the same thing that Paul Reed brings in the same thing that JB mentioned about Paul Reed, I feel like Ron Holland does that, brings energy. And to me, the X factor of this series for the magic has been Jalen Suggs. I just think the energy that he has brought since, you know, the magic beat Charlotte to advance, and you know, get the H.C. The pistons just don't have a guy in my opinion that is really doing the stuff that Suggs has been able to do this series, the stuff that Desmond Bain has done this series. So I just think that the pistons need somebody to come off the bench and just bring some type of hustle, even if it's not, you know, points and we know Paul Reed, I mean, Ron Holland doesn't really bring the shooting and the spacing aspect which the pistons need. So I get having a herder and, you know, guys like that. But just even a guy diving for loose balls or, you know, getting fast breaks and steals, which I said I thought would be a X factor of this series. And, you know, someone just to like match up against Bain, kind of, you know, be an irritant in some ways, like that, guys like that that are needed in the playoffs. I just would love to see more of him, even if I said if it's like a few minutes here and there, like just stuff like that, just to get the crowd into it. Cause I know pistons fans travel and I know that, you know, they're gonna go back home and gain five and things like that. I just think all the games I went to, Ron Holland has such a great crowd reaction when he does something, you know, a simple and things like that. So it just feels like it brings a life and energy into this team. So to me, that's probably the biggest rotation change who I would take out of the rotation. If I was him to do that, that's a difficult question. Maybe Keras Levert, like he has been, you know, bringing some creation aspects, stuff like that. But it doesn't have to be a full 20 minutes, 18 minutes, anything like that. Just a add him here and there. But what do you think about the rotation and what would you do differently, Cody, that kind of like, you know, change this series up a little bit? That that's my thing. Like he's used in the same players, but he's not playing in the same amount of minutes. And I'm wondering, maybe that's part of the reason why we have seen such a drop off in his bench unit. Because you mentioned Keras Levert, you say you would, you know, take him out of whatever the case might be. News flashed to Ron. Keras Levert has barely got any minutes this series. He was only playing like seven, maybe eight minutes per game through the first three. You know, many minutes he played in the regular season, 20 or 19, so well on those on us. It's the same thing with Ron Holland. Holland was averaging like 19, 20 push-pun game throughout the regular season coming off that bench. And the playoffs, that has drastically changed too. I think he's averaging like nine, maybe 10 minutes through games, 10 minutes per game through the first two games. And then in the third game, you didn't even play. You got to first D&P of the season. And I get it. I understand it. In the playoffs, coaches short their rotation. I get that. However, on the flip side, to me, I think because-- and this kind of made what makes this piston's team so unique. There are not your typical, you know, NBA team, or whatever the case might be, in terms of when you think of a team that's going to win a championship. How they go about it? Being the number one C, winning 60 games. When you think about all those normal intangibles, you're not going to point to what and how the pistons did it this year. There are so many teams that has the potential to win 50, 55, possibly 60 games. But if you take their best player out of you, take multiple of their best players out, they're not only going to lose, but they're going to lose in a blowout game. I.E., one of my favorite games that I covered this season was actually a loss against who, the Oklahoma City Thunder. You won without majority your entire core of players. And you went into OCAC and bought the defending champion with the rating MVP into overtime and still lost only by four. You got to speak to those guys, man. And that's just my way of thinking in terms of, you know, the rotation and everything, because that team that we saw throughout this team, that we saw throughout the regular season, through those moments against, you know, the Oklahoma City Thunder. When they had that 11 game, you know, winning three, all 13 game winning three. And, you know, even then you were still battling injuries. When your best player MVP, caliber, all caliber, you know, all NBA caliber talent and K kind of have going, goes down and misses 11 games. And people are like, oh, oh, here it comes. They about to lose that number one seat. You end up going, like, nine in two or somewhere along those lines. And not only that, you also lost your best, if not your second. Well, I guess we could say second best defensive player, not because of Sart Thompson is on another level. But you also left. You also were without your second best defensive player, your defensive anchor. And Isaiah Stewart, like, there's just been so much chaos for this team through the regular season. And you won 60 games with gay everybody and believe heck, even if you don't play into Joe, when you get at least get to the conference finals. And here we are, three games into the first round. You're down to one. So, look, maybe JD, JD and all of his players, they got to go back to the join board. Because what I don't want to happen is this team to go down three, one. And I get it over 20 some years ago. The pistons didn't come back from a three, one. Definitely said it gets done. Like, don't imagine that was that series with a team actor the first, what, five games. He was averaging like 40. Rick Carlisle made one of the best, you know, coaching changes of all time in my opinion. And by tweaking the starting line up, by putting T-Shirt on person on teammate, he went from averaging 35, 40 points per game, all the way down to the end. like 20 plus you that was the early stages of the going to work era. Look, that team, we know what they did. This team is not the going to work business. Let's just say that. And I don't think they will be able to recover from a 3-1 deficit. They're not going to give up. They're going to continue fighting. But, Tyran, before we close out, what do you think this team needs to do to not only avoid going down 3-1, but to also give themselves a chance to still win this series? Yeah. I think it starts with JB Bickers that I think he should be still the favorite for Coach of the Year. That's a regular season award. Oh, yeah. No, it's supposed to count it, by the way. Oh, yeah. So, yeah. So that's what I was thinking. It's going to really start with him in my opinion. Just because I think it's so interesting. We talked about going into this series that these teams are almost mirror images of each other. They rely on deep things. They have two are led by a big ball handler that was a former number one picking a draft and back to back years. Just all these things. But if you told a fan which coach was a coach of the Year favorite and which coach was on the hot seat, everyone was giving this trying to put Tom Tibido on the magic, like all the magic are going to lose quick to the pistons and you know, they're going to go get Tom Tibido this off season. This team is going to be different next year. But he's been out coached. It's just as simple as that. Jamal Mosley has out coached JB Bickers staff in this. It seems like I thought this series to be honest was over. You know, I text the group chat. Rob Parker was talking a lot about this stuff like that. I was like, Oh, it's over. Like after they did that blowout, that run they did in the third quarter in game two. I didn't think the piston. I mean, the magic will be able to recover from that even, you know, going back home and things like that. But Mosley adjusted the next game and, you know, they have been getting production from their best players. Paulo has stepped it up. Sugs, Bame, Wagner even has had good games as well. So I think it's going to really start with the coaching matchup and just see like we mentioned the bench rotation and how he can get the team involved outside of K and Granite Asar has been playing well at also, especially game three. But that's the biggest thing I need to see if this pistons team wants to continue in this series. What adjustment does he make? How does he get the team involved outside of K? What bench rotation does he kind of stick with? Do we see more read and, you know, then basically steward? Like it's just so many things I want to see starting next game. But that's probably the biggest takeaway I have. But what about you? Before I get into that, here's what Coach Javi and Biggest have had to say about the mindset going into game four. It's one game at a time. And, you know, that's what playoff series are. We come down here. You know, we went on Monday. We take on court advantage back. Tonight's game will learn from it. Today's game is going to be a little learn from it. But it's over with. And, you know, it gives us more opportunity to study. It gives us more film to watch more time, you know, to prepare, to get ready for Monday. But you can't hang on to it. And again, our guys have been consistent all year that we've been able to move on to the next. So I trust our guys, you know, that we'll focus on and go learn from it. We'll study it. We'll get better at it. And then Monday, we'll be ready to go. My biggest takeaway that I want to see from the pistons, not just in game four, but this is another issue that I think they need to take care of in order to not just side of series, but still potentially win. And that's literally just getting off to a better start in game one and in game three. They look like a team that was not ready, manufacturing game two as well, like this whole entire series, every single game. They look like a team that was not ready to play any type of basketball preseason basketball, regular season basketball, playoff basketball, pick up basketball on your local YMCA court. Like they just look like a team that was not ready. And to run, if it wasn't for that remarkable 30 to three run that they started the third quarter and now scored them 35 to what was it? 10 or whatever it was. If you take away that third quarter, you look at that team and the possibility that could be down three oh right now because even in the fourth quarter, they went in with a lot of momentum or let go regrouped and recover really well. And the pistons just look like a team that was just like, all right, well, we up by 20 some points. Let's just try to run out this clock. And that score started getting a little bit too close for comfort. I mean, it's still won by double digit, but man, look, they got a lot that they got to figure out. I have the confidence that they will. But it's going to take a lot. I mean, and the most frustrating part about it is, if you go back and take a look at how the magic have played, they haven't really played that most better than the business. They have just executed at the right time in order to get the wins. And they have they, man, this team, like I mentioned, they have so much things that they have to work on. They still have life in this series. They only down to one. But put it like this, Toronto, listen to the views. I truly believe that they have to play one of their most perfect games on Monday night in game four in order to not only tie this series, but to just save themselves. Because I mean, like Coach J.B. Biggest F.S. A didn't that clip. You go in Monday night, you take care of business, you get home court advantage. Now you're looking at the best of three. And two games in Detroit with this team, you know, we seen from them in the regular season. I still like the chances. I don't really like the chances of playing well into June now, but that's another story and another conversation for another day. But they still have an opportunity and still have a chance to make it past the magic. But they have a lot that they got to figure out in a short amount of time, you know. And I know a lot of people believe. And I feel that way too. It starts with JD, but from JD to bench, you and they getting off to better stars rotation, you know, Stewart playing up to his part. And even Kay, you know, I know Kay has looked good. No first two games game three. Outside of that one, he went on in the fourth quarter. He did not look good had nine turnovers. Nine of the 16 was just crazy. They, they got a lot to figure out. So, um, to round really quick, going into game three, I mean, going into game four Monday night, what do you think is going to happen? Do you think this is it? Do you think by this time next Sunday will be game seven? Do you think this time next Monday will be seen here during the season review? Re-cal, like, what's your thinking? Yeah, I've seen, I wanted to say I seen a lot of like pistons Twitter and just a lot of stuff. And my big thing is, you know, I don't want to, you know, coin air Rogers, but I think people need to relax. Like I think this series is not done. I still think the pistons come out on top. Um, you know, I think they respond well starting like you said in game four on Monday. And then they'll be back at home. So I think that if they're able to win those next two games that this series is, you know, not over because I don't want to underestimate the magic anymore. They've been playing really well. Um, but I do think that they still in this series and that that's going to start with Monday night with Cody. I did also want to bring this quick thing up. I think this team last year and this year are just, it's so interesting to see how much things have changed just because it really feels like the pistons, you know, have went from like being kind of that underdog against the nicks. No one really expected them to stay in that series to be in the favorite by a huge margin. And I almost wonder how much that affects them in some ways just because, you know, I don't want to say they're overconfident or anything like that. But I do think that going from being a challenger to being a favorite is such a mindset switch and at a quick period of time. And the magic don't look like they're scared like they're playing with nothing to lose basically the coaches on the hot seat. Um, you know, just all the players and different things. They were expected to be among the favorites coming into the season to go on the Eastern Conference run. And they're just, they look like that team that is playing like with nothing to lose. So I did kind of want to mention that quick part. But Cody, what do you think is going to happen, you know, in game for an in this series overall like to wrap it up? Um, really quick. I think they're going to, they're going to tie the series. I do still have confident that they're going to, you know, make the necessary adjustments, everything that we talked about. We really don't have to reiterate it because that's what they need to work on and find a way to do. Um, so there, I, I think game for, I can see the winning by double digits. Um, I think the biggest thing for them is bringing the intensity. I know that's something to start. Thompson said that was missing. Um, we asked about the slow start in game three. He said the intensity wasn't there. Um, so I think they're going to come out and put it. play the hardest. What I thought was going to be a quick five game series, I can definitely see it now going to seven. I do believe that this time next Sunday we will be getting ready for game seven. The best part about it is game seven will be at LCA and we will just see what happens from there. But I think they're definitely going to win. They're definitely going to win Monday and the pisses and magic. I can see them splitting those next two games, setting up a win or take all games seven next Monday. So they got a lot to figure out.
