You got search on it, man. - How old are you, sir? - I'm well, man. How are you? - Bless black and highly favored, man. We just 240 something year old. Old man, man, doing the best we can. - We doing the best we do. We just doing the best we can. - Try to take care of our fans. - Two old fathers just out here doing the best we can, man. - I take care of our kids. - Working flat, man. You see what I'm saying? - Just working hard. - You see what I'm saying? - Working hard. - He was in LA, he was, uh, we took a week off last week. Sorry, we didn't tell you. - Sorry about that, guys. - Yes, that's on me, man. I was out in LA shooting this movie and it's, - How's that going? - Man, the movie is beautiful. It's like, I mean, the guy is shooting it. Like the director's sick and then the guy is shooting it is like a legend. - Can you say what is the budget? - Yeah, yeah, I think the, I think it's out. It's a homeless high school kid becomes the fastest mile runner in America. How? - Well, homeless high school. - Yeah. - What does he eat? - Get into that. - It's a homeless high school kid. How do you become a homeless high school kid? - Sometimes. - You're homeless and you still choose to go to school? I guess though, right? To get a meal? - Oh, you have to go watch it. You have to go watch it. - You don't get fucked in that, does he? By some adult looking to see if he, you know, what you want him to do for some room and board. - He's sleeping in the school though, right? If he's home. - I don't know. I mean, the fact that you guys are asking so many questions, makes it feel like there's some interest out there. What's the name of it? - They have the name yet? - Running. - Running. - Wow. Okay. All right, little one to nose. Does it become like that? Does it become like a track star or something? Guys, who knows? - When does it come out? - Who knows, okay. - Who knows, who knows? - They're still filming. It takes so much time for them to come out and film it. - That's just not like some shit that's going for a fucking Oscar or something. - The guy who's making the director is a Gavin O'Connor. So did you see Miracle? So it's a movie about the US team that beats the Russian hockey team. You saw it, yeah. And then like Warrior. I don't know if you saw that one. Tom Hardy, the accountant. - Oh, yeah, I saw him. - Then Alpha. - So prestigious? - Yeah, no, he's a beast. And then the DP of it is this guy named Yanish Kaminsky. Yanish Kaminsky is a Spielbergs guy. So he did say a prime rye and he did come out. - That's just a wrap, it's a little piece. So you got some really cool people to be working with. - Got you. I saw people, they were talking about our Odyssey review. - What did they say? - They were mad that I didn't know Greek mythology. Who the fuck's that I know Greek mythology? Where did you see this reaction? Somebody sent it to me. Or you know, I don't know, it came up with my Instagram though. - But what was the criticism that you're not an expert in like ancient Greek mythology? - I wasn't trying to, you know what I saw? 'Cause it was a debate. 'Cause people were saying, is he supposed to be? They're talking about the fucking movie. Like, what was the thing? - And somebody said that that wasn't hell in Detroit. - Yeah, it was. - That's what I thought too, when you told me. - It was hell. - But then it was like she didn't have a twin sister. - Well, I said it, they said maybe the movie didn't flesh it out. - That well, versions of the Odyssey, their twins, others, their daughter. - Got you, got you, got you, got you, got you, got you. - None of this shit is real, like we're going off whatever one got written down hundreds of years later than it actually was told. - It was a good-ass movie, man. - It was incredible. - That's it, that's it. You seen Spider-Man? - Not yet, but I heard it's fire. - And. - Whoa! - Whoa! - Chugas. - Y'all excited. - Hey, how are you? - Somebody, how are you? - Got it. - What's you, no. - Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. - What's you, me? - And I'm shouting out whoever DM me. But someone DM me, they go, get ready. They go, get ready for Charlotte to hate on some of them. Listen, 'cause you know, once a white boy gets emotions, Charlotte may get us. - Yeah, you got that shit down. - Well, especially if he's married to a black one. - Well, you got to shut that shit down, dude. - I'll give Tom some props. I thought about this while I was watching the movie. - Yeah. - Did you ask him what he's done for black people? - No, Tom Holland in Zendaya might be the only true Hollywood stars. - Left. - Who? - Yeah, I mean, just in general, like for what we know as Hollywood's stardom, they might be the only two. - So what does that mean? - Compa many still have to shit on Charlemagne in order to get us. - Oh, Charlemagne got shit on Tom Holland. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Charlemagne got shit on Tom Holland. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - Charlemagne got shit on Tom Holland. - Let's just hold on for a second. - No, no, no, no. - I would like you to define Hollywood star. - Walk outside, swarmed by Paparazzi, literally can't move. Box office. - So box office success. - Box office success. - All right. - Right? - Because I got a lot of love for Tom. - Tom Holland's gonna be a $2 billion movie. It's my fucking drop. It's quite a mental within a billion a week in. - Hold on, hold on, hold on. I got a lot of love 'cause I think Tom is brilliant. - Yes. - No question. - But if we're talking about, if we're talking about box office success, I can't attribute box office success when you're part of the franchise to just box office success. In other words, you said this before, you were talking about the Daily Show. - Yeah. - And you were like, you can put people in there and it will work because it's an institution. - Can't do that with Spider-Man. Tom Holland is the greatest Spider-Man. - This is not all time. - This is not shadow time. Tom Holland is unfuxt of believable and he's just so charming, he's an amazing actor, he's incredible. What I'm trying to say is, is as Tom been put in a position where he's the lead in a movie that has no existing IP and is generating the rep. Other men versus Marty's are pretty. Two very different. - Well, I wouldn't even, I wouldn't even count Marty because I think Josh, Safty has, right now we follow directors more. It's like, Kugler puts something out, it don't even need to be made. Basically anything, we're gonna watch it for Kugler. - Yeah. - Josh has got that. Nolan has got that. You know what I'm certain people, where you're just gonna go see the movie. - But Tom is in very rare air that I only wanna see his version of Spider-Man. - That's Spider-Man. The next Spider-Man, it whenever it's gonna be five years from now, 10 years from now, hard act to follow, bro. It might take a nose dive to be honest with you. - Well, this is the bondship. James Bond's gonna idea of who you, well, let me get this out, but you get an idea of who James Bond is in your brain and then they throw someone else in there and they gotta be so spectacular for you to, like essentially like edit out what you thought James Bond was. - But you know what, and I agree with that, but I also think Tom shatters that theory of having to be part of a franchise because we've seen other Spider-Man franchises. Toby McGuire can't fuck with Tom Holland. Andrew Garfield can't fuck with Tom Holland, bro. - I think Garfield can't, Toby was a beast. - And by the way, they were all in a movie together and Tom still outshine you. - Listen, I'm not saying. - Toby was a close friend. - Yeah, I think that's correct, though. - Are we gonna act like Toby wasn't him, though, during Spider-Man back in the day? - I'm talking, I act like he wasn't him. I, everybody's a fucking Garfield. I didn't even-- - A price for 300 thinks it's a fan until a fan shows up, bro. - I know you're not talking. - Now we talk. - I'm just saying, now we talk, now talk, now talk. - I thought Toby was a fan. - I thought Toby was a fan, now, now, now, now, now. - Listen, I thought Toby was a fan. I thought, bro, that dancing sequence walking down the street that Toby had. Remember when Toby found he got his powers away? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I don't know if Tom got, now listen. - But Tom Holland did that dancing thing with Ben Dyer where he did some show. - Yeah. - Actually, it was crazy. - Yes, yes, yes, yes. - Yo, we all remember that. - That shit was, that almost lost him as a career. - That shit was crazy. - I couldn't believe it, that happened. I was like, what the hell's going on? - He did a great job with it. - Yeah, it's too good. - Toby can't fuck with Tom Holland. Let me just put this out. I can accept Garfield. Garfield is better emotional actor. He's a better dramatic actor. - I don't know, bro. - You're not gonna say, "Tom, wash his toe." - Wash his toe. - Shes crazy. - Wash his toe. - Thank you. - Wash his toe. - Yo, he shows him, "Sair, wash it." - You're a great person. - You gotta see the new one, yo. And it's good. By the way, I liked it. - I thought it was a great movie. - I was in the movies with Toby. - I don't even fucking know. - Exactly. - I don't know. - I don't know. - Exactly. - And nobody in these movies with Tom either. - Sentaiya. - Sentaiya is like a bit, people don't, she's a bit character. She's probably gonna screen in what, 30 minutes? - Yeah, not that much. - She's a bit player. And I like sentai in these movies, 'cause she's his emotional anchor. But nah.
- Bro, Tom is different. - Right. - Tom is different. - It's like that. - It's like that. - Tom different. - Like that. - I fucked up the room. - I love Tom. - Wait, wait, wait, wait. - I don't want to see him as Tom's shade here. I love Tom. - And what else is Toby done? - Yo, you're big. - Yo, you're trusting. He's done a lot of stuff. - No, you're, I don't have to ask him a question. - Oh, that was fucking funny. - That was fucking crazy. - What the fuck is that? - Yeah. - Toby, I mean, this is serious. - Pull it up. - Toby, I mean, this is silly. - I ain't seen this, Janet. - Pull it up. - No, I'm telling you. You sleep on Toby. - I'm not sleep. I just don't know what else he's been in. - You think Jonah Hill's, does he? - He didn't break it. - It's too much for him. - Boss baby. - He was in the game, man. - Boss baby, yo, stop it. - Boss baby, this fire. - Boss baby. - You be in this room. - I don't know. Look how it's stopped from the top, Taylor. Look at this. - Look at this. - Spider-Man. - Spider-Man. - Spider-Man. - Spider-Man. - Brother. - Brother? - Of course. - What the fuck are you doing, brother? - The quick, catch me. - Catch me. - We don't know movies here. - I can't remember it. - I can't remember him now. - We all was all like. - He was a sea biscuit. - Yeah, he was the horse. - I thought he was a sea biscuit. - Boss baby, Spider-Man, sea biscuit. - I'm on. - I'm on. - I don't remember, come on, bro. - Oh, I thought he was in the rain. - I'm scared, just come on, come on, man. Come on, man. - That's all I'm trying. - Come on, man. Fucking Tom Hall is in the Odyssey, guys. - What do we do? - Who's the guy that's in the ring? - Yo. You know how hard it is to be a superhero and the ring? - What is it, Lord? - You know how hard I am to be a star of a superhero franchise? Oh, do another franchise, and it actually be good and a hit. And not once did I wait for him to fucking throw out his web slingers in the Odyssey? - What other franchises is he going to? - No, I said, you know how hard it is for him to be the star of a franchise. - And then go to another movie, like the Odyssey. People are trying to do it. Think about Robert Downey Jr. He did Sherlock Holmes at the height of Iron Man. You know, you remember that shit. You know what I'm saying? Like, think about all the stuff Chris Helmsworth has done. - He really didn't do that good in the Odyssey though. Who? Tom Hall. - Really? - No, he didn't. - All right, all right. - So now, now. - Well, what are you on judging? - I want you to, I want you to show me, and this is no shade 'cause Tom is fucking unbelievable. But show me the massive success that Tom carried that's not Spider-Man. - I don't know. - 'Cause we know massive successes did Toby add. - We do? All right, I'm not gonna do it. - Tom has to do it. - I'm not gonna do it. - Go to people. I don't know. - That's me. - That was Leo. - That was Leo. - Baby. - Cut it out. - I forgot Leo said it. - How did you think that last time that he was in it? - Stop it. - Tell me not even know how hard it worked. - Got Leo. - That was in that bag. - Go back to the cover. - That's for God's sake. - No, don't be sorry. - Go back. - You're right. - Toby's not even on your fucking cover. - You're right. - You're right. - Tom, I don't know why. - I forgot he was in it. - Why? - Because the book The Great Gatsby. Toby is playing the guy who's the star of the book. - I didn't know that. - Exactly. - See? I'm tired of explaining Leo on The Great Gatsby. - Yes. - Let me do it. - Toby's playing The Great Gatsby. Who was he? - Tom, what's his name? - Holly. - Toby wanted to play Tom, Holly, wanted to play Tom. - Chris, what's him? - I don't know who he is right now. - He's Nick. - He's Nick. - No, no, no, Nick. - He was Nick. - Nick Caraway. - Yeah. - Listen, I'm not shitting on Toby. Because I'm looking forward to seeing Toby in Doomsday. All I'm saying is Tom Holland is the greatest fighter man of all time. - No, he might be. He might be. But you were acting like Toby was trash. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - He was the best fighter man until Tom Holland. - That I can deal with. - And Tom does four of 'em. - That doesn't make an interesting podcast. What makes an instant conversation is what he said. That's what makes it fun. - Listen, he's done four of 'em, bro. And listen, I like the new Spider-Man. - Yeah. - If you're not a fan of comic books, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're not a fan of the MCU, and you're just a casual person going to see a movie, it's a great movie, it's entertaining, it's action-packed. But if you are a stickler like me, it's too much going on, bro. - What do you mean? - It's too much going on. It's too much going on. It's shit that Marvel is doing. That I just don't agree with. You can't just introduce Gene Ray, bro. - Yes, you can. - No, you can't. - Yes, you can. - How? - Just now got the rights for to introduce X-Men to Marvel. - So, you're not going to do it when they're already grown. So, the only way to do it now, this is her. She just got her powers not too long ago. She hasn't even met professors yet. - They haven't even told us how they ended up in the 616. You can't take a Omega-level mutant, one of the founders of the X-Men and just put him in a Spider-Man movie. And when you listen to Kevin Feige, and Kevin Feige tells you how they decided that she was the last person. But that was one of the big development changes that we kept going through was who is the bad guy? There was one version of the bad guy, then another version of the bad guy. Then a version essentially of this bad guy that was revealed to be a very obscure character that nobody ever heard of. And it just wasn't satisfied. And that might be what Tom was talking about. Because he said, "Well, what about this character?" And I said, "Well, we came to this character bud and knowing that all of the journey that Peter was going on has to culminate in his confrontation with the villainy. And that's when Gene starts to come on. It's a young person, very similar in age to Peter. And we will be younger. Peter, again, who just said, had a mentor in each of the other Spider-Man movies and seeing a young person who did not have a mentor, seeing a young person who has powers like Peter did, but didn't have an end made. They didn't have anybody to help guide, to help guide her. And that is what led and the origins of Gene Gray in the comics before Xavier finds her, before she joins the X-Men, does have something to do with her sister and something to do with her, not controlling her powers. And that is when it really came together. And then our co-producer Emily Fallen, sitting around the table, said, "What about Sadie Sank?" And we all went, "Okay, it's Gene Gray." I think we're going to go with like mine, mind-worm of somebody. They just wanted a villain that had how it was to take over people's minds, and that you turn that into Gene Gray? Yeah, but they're going to put the X-Men in Spider-Man's uniform. I see what they're doing. Yeah. I don't like it. 'Cause what they're trying to do is they're going to make it to where to snap. Did you see who they thought was going to play for mind-worm? Who? Mind-worming or mouth? Yeah! [laughter] Whoa, color. [laughter] John, were you saying tense? [laughter] He lost comic books too much. This curiosity got the better of them. Now you got mind-worming your mouth. Like, maybe you want to do rock stars or something. Okay? But they're going to try to make it seem like the X-Gene was activated because of the snap or something, right? So that's where all of these mutants came from. That is whack, bro. You can't have this whole 10 plus years, 15 plus years of avengers and all this stuff, and give us the X-Men after the fact in the Earth 616. You got to give them a little grace because they didn't have access to the X-Men characters. I don't care. They could have introduced the X-Men the same way they introduced the Fantastic Four. They could have been in a whole other universe. Now you got incursions coming. They could have still been young and all of that shit like that. And then the worlds could have came together. The way they're doing that shit now is whack. Where did Punish and Spider-Man become friends? When did that happen? I. And why the fuck did all of. Why were all of those superheroes in New York? And nobody helped their devil's blind ass. Their devil was getting his ass kicked. All up and down in New York City. Punish and couldn't show up. Spider-Man couldn't show up. Because it's low level. You said that. Yo, you deal with low level stuff and we deal with upper level stuff. So don't mention them. They mentioned Spider-Man in their devil. And in this Spider-Man movie, there's a poster or kingpin in the background. That's somebody like that. Spider-Man's in between. He does low level stuff. And then the avengers tapped him over like one mission. Don't like it. I have a question. The savage Hulk shows up for this shit. But can't show up for Infinity War in game. This was the best version of Hulk. But why wasn't he. Why didn't you become the best version of yourself? And we needed you. This shit is kind of crazy. I have a question now. Why did. I'm sorry, give him a way. Best fucking. It's a great movie. I'm not. I'm not going to say anything like that. It's not a great movie. What's it? The best Spider-Man movie. It's no. It's not it. Name one Spider-Man movie. The one before that one was better. Nope. You don't think so? The one before had all the incursions, All that extra shit. We need all of it. No. This one. It had this one checked every single box. You know what he wants to say. I know what you want to say. Which one? The second one? No. The original with Toby. No. I know you want to say that. That's the Spider-Man movie. I don't know. That's a good question. Why did Jean. Spider-Man did not know who Jean Grey was, though, right? No. So why did she come in like, "Oh, you still can't sense where I am?" Like, they knew each other already. I didn't like. I didn't understand that. No. Because his power was malfunctioning. And so when his power was malfunctioning, and when he was like, the hormones were changing, then he couldn't center the way he was censored everybody. Yeah, but she was talking to him like, they knew each other already, though. No. It was just like. I mean, she was throwing off like, "Why are you the only person who was able to see when I'm jumped into somebody?" Well, she didn't know him, because she went to his head a little bit. So she knew a little bit of it. Yeah. But also, it was very hard nothing to do with what she was trying to get either, though. Like, it's very true.
Spider-Man was getting in our way, Spider-Man didn't know that she was actually trying to get her sister. - Yeah. - He didn't know that's what she was looking for. - Who's your sister? - Um, Sarah Gray. 'Cause once again, they're just introducing fucking mutants to the-- - Oh, that was sour. - But to the fucking-- - Sarah Gray-- - Sarah Gray was in the comics. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - They show us that, hey, this is the lifespan of a spider. - So this is going to happen to him in his lifetime. - That should silly. - Oh, you wasn't paying attention, right? - That should say. - That shit was fun, now. - And by the way, in the comic book, I've seen that. - And that happened. - They did a better, and I know you can, you know, be right on par with the comic books, but at least give me a little bit more detail. At least show me a little bit. That would have been a good way to explain mutation, 'cause they could have said, "Yo, there was something that happened from the Hulk was there, Hulk lived through all of that." It's both of them did, they could have said it was something from the snap, that's causing mutations. Now you're like, "Oh, okay, now I see why Jean Grey is here." They just said, "Here, hit some fun shit, hit some punisher, here's Jean Grey, here's the Hulk, here's a lot of action." It was good, no complaints, great, you're going to love it if you go see it. But as a comic book guy, as a Marvel Cinematic Universe guy, a lot more questions. - Don't ask. - The only thing I agree is, yes, they should have did X-Men in a different universe. - I agree with that one. - That shit is too much. Why did they introduce it here so that in Doomsday, it could make sense? - Probably. - I don't even know how this shit connected to Doomsday. I think they did it because they know how big this movie's going to be. And so let me introduce people into the X-Men by putting them on our feet. - I don't think they anticipated this, bro. - Almost a billion dollars in a weekend. - I understand. - It's the second highest grossing movie of all time. - The last one did crazy like that, too. - What a billion a week in, Alex? - Almost a billion a week and it's crazy. - Think about it. - They did kind of cheat. - Why? - Because they did an early preview to the movie on Wednesday. So they got two extra days. - Oh, they got rolled out. - Bro, this is how big of a star Tom Holland is. The movie theater I went to, literally every theater was showing Spider-Man. - Different variations. - Spider-Man. - RPX version, 3D version, standard version. They had, I mean, it was just rolling show, show, show, show, show. Tom Holland and Zendaya, if you ask me, two biggest stars in Hollywood and it's not even close. - I think you're right. - I mean, Zendaya quite possibly is going to be in three billion dollar movies this year. She's still got fucking doing three come out. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yo, that's going to be the crazy one. - Well, so I'm still got Doomsday coming out. - Oh, look at Zendaya. - Why would he not be in it? - Spider-Man. - They haven't announced that he's going to be in it. Why would his character not be in the movie that he was a huge part of? - Oh, that makes them making it seem like he's not going to be in it. - He'll probably be in Secret Wars, but he ought to be in Secret Wars. - I don't know if he'll be in Toby's in Doomsday though. - What's Secret Wars? - Secret Wars is the secret of Doomsday. Toby is definitely in Doomsday. It's said Toby's actually in the opening scene. - Really? - Yeah. From what, from some of this, I don't know if these scripts are real, but he's in actually one of the opening scenes. - Oh, not lying, yo. - Now promise you, look it up, Taylor, I'm not making this up. I watch New Rock stars a lot of it. - I watch New Rocks go up. - They said Toby's going, quite possibly is going to be in the opening scene. They said that was the in-credits scene of Spider-Man. They said that's what that represented. - We just found the biggest clue the confirms Toby Maguire is returning in Avengers Doomsday. When the Spider-Tracker glitches, we boosted the color grading and saturation. And a hidden number suddenly appears on the screen. That number appears to match Earth 92683, Toby Maguire's universe. If that's intentional, Marvel may have just teased Toby's return, but here's where it gets even crazier. After No Way Home, Dr. Octopus is finally cured. He's no longer obsessed with the power of the sun. And after seeing Tony Stark's nanotechnology, he could return home and use it to upgrade both his mechanical tentacles and Toby's Spider-Man suit. That completely changes their timeline. Now combine that with the reported Doomsday leaks. They claimed Deadpool and Wolverine destroyed Toby's universe, forcing Toby's Spider-Man and a redeemed Dr. Octopus into the multiversal war against Dr. Doom. Which means we could finally see Toby Maguire's Spider-Man fighting alongside Wolverine, Deadpool, and Dr. Octopus against Dr. Doom himself. If these reported leaks are true, this could be Toby Maguire's biggest MCU role ever. - Did the in-credits scene was a preview to Secret Wars when Doom transports everybody into outer space? - Maybe. - Are they said that that was a Spider-Man stayed in Queens? It didn't move. I don't think. - What's the lore to Doom? - Dr. Doom, he was a strong guy. - But what's the lore to him? He's not really a bad guy technically. He just thinks that the world would be a better place if he ruled it. But how does he have power? How did he come up? - Science and magic. - So he blends technology and magic. - And how did he come up with anybody that we know were they friends as kids and then they separated? - Oh, fantastic, cool. - Oh, yeah, yeah, he ruled it fantastic, cool. - So him and Richard, what's his last name? - Reed? - Yes. - They're like the two smartest people in the world. - Got it. And they knew each other as kids. - Yeah. - Or like high school college, one of them. - And then they-- - Reed Richards. - Yeah. - Reed Richards. - And Magneto and Professor X, you know what? - Yes. - Is that Marvel's version of it? - Yeah. - Got it. - Yeah. - Born Victor von Doom in the fictional Eastern European nation of Latavria, how did you pronounce it? Latberry, I'm sorry. Latberry. He was raised in the poor Romani family. His father, Werner, was a physician, and his mother Cynthia was a powerful sorcerer. Cynthia made a bargain with the demon Mephisto for power to protect her people, but lost her soul in the process. After both parents died while Victor was still a child, he became obsessed with two things, becoming the greatest scientist in the world, freeing his mother's soul from his, my fist toes around. His brilliance earned him a scholarship to a university in the United States when he made Reed Richards. Mr. Fantastic. The two became academic rivals. Victor built a machine intended to communicate with the dead, but Reed warned him that his calculations were flawed. Victor ignored the warning. The machine exploded, horribly scarring his face, rather than admit his own mistake. Victor blamed Reed Richards becoming one of comics greatest rivalries. This gonna be good. But I don't even like that. I don't even like how they fucking introduced into Dr. Doom, y'all. - And why not? - Because, man, you can't just get to a Dr. Doom. You gotta lead up to a Dr. Doom the same way they gave us a slow roll of Thanos over the last decade. Like, I'ma be honest with you, there's nothing about the marble universe in this phase where we should be getting a Dr. Doom movie. We should be getting a king. - Seriously? We should be getting, they should have just recasted king. We should not be getting a Dr. Doom right now. - I don't think king has enough juice though. - Yeah, it didn't have enough juice. - I didn't know who the fuck can. - And Ant, man, nobody liked it. - Nah, Ant, man, people fuck with. They watched it made a billion dollars that movie. - Yeah. - But people didn't like the whole king. - Oh, they're watching for Paul Rudd. - Bro, earth is so sweet right now. Earth is so sweet right now that the superheroes in New York can just kick their feet up and let a blind lawyer run around New York City and try to protect it. All of those fucking superheroes were in New York, the Hulk, the Avengers, Spider-Man, Punisher, and they sent Jessica Jones going through Minipaus, the fucking hell dead devil. She was going through Minipaus so much that her powers would work sometimes on and off. What the fuck are we talking about? - They dealing with low-level criminals, Avengers, they went alien. - They went alien. - Criminal? - Compared to. - Okay, so Spider-Man and those. - Yeah, Devil was fighting the hand. - Okay. - Spider-Man was fighting the hand. - Spider was you and the hand, the hand, the hand, the hand, the hand, the hand. - Spider-Man? - No, come on. - Come on, Jolly. - I'll hand all that in safe. Tom Holland, in Zendaya, or the biggest star of the Hollywood. - I don't think anybody would refute that. What I'm saying is I'm curious to see what happens when Tom has got to lead a movie that has no. - Eland Odyssey. - Eland? - Eland. - Eland. - Yo, you being disrespectful. - Okay, okay. - You being disrespectful. - All right, who was in Odyssey? - Matt Damon. - Matt Damon and Hathaway. - One of the last time Matt did a Billy. - Interstellar. - Not Interstellar, the Martian. - Years ago. - No hold on, let me look at Matt. - I don't even know if the Martian did a Billy. Tom, three people in fucking Odyssey are in another billion dollar movie this week, guys. - Hmm. - There's a billionaire boys club in the Odyssey, and the name Matt Damon, okay? - Oh, man. - That ain't Travis Scott. - That ain't Elliot Page. - Yeah, but- - It ain't Charlie Taran. This is the day Robert Patterson and A&A and Hathaway. - Oh, I'm sorry, my bad, my bad. - There was a little movie that Matt was in called "Oppinheimer." I don't know if you. - Oh, shit. - That was two years ago. - That was after the Jewish community, yo. What are you talking about? Oh, yeah, you will give him credit for "Oppinheimer." You tell a story, a historical story. Of course, people are going to show up. - Oh, cool. - I don't even know what I'm doing right now, because it's every episode. Every episode. What this podcast is, it's a literal shoehorn. Is we will start here close. We will go as far away as possible. And then by the end, he will just say the first thing that he disagreed with me about.
- Every conversation we have. - All I'm saying is, you tell me. - And they're not a billionaire. - You tell me. - And they're not a billionaire boys club in the Odyssey that ran it back a week later. Odyssey just came out two weeks ago and hit a billy. Now it's in Dea, freaking Tom, and John ran it back for another billy. - No, it's great. - Woo. - Matt Damon wishes bro. - Robert Patterson wishes. - Robert Patterson's in doom. He's gonna run it back for a billy. - You know why Tom bedding in a Robert? - What? - Clearly. - Robert got a franchise with a superhero and they ain't popped it off like, huh? - Ooh. - I'm saying to get Robert. - Robert got a franchise with an iconic superhero Batman and they ain't popped it off like, huh? - Okay, well what I would say is, what I would say is, I want you to look at the numbers for Twilight. - Ooh. - That I want you. - We're not done yet, we're not done yet. - We're not done yet. - I want you to look at the numbers for Twilight. Then I want you to look at the numbers. - Isn't that gay vampires? - Then I want you to look at the numbers. - I'm gay. - Wait for it. - Wait for it for Harry Potter. - Robert Patterson with Harry Potter is not even a fan. - I don't even know why I'm talking Harry Potter. - I don't even know I'm talking movies. - Robert Patterson wasn't a Harry Potter. - I don't even know I'm talking movies with you. - Man, get the fuck out of there. - I'm talking about Daniel Ratcliffe with somebody, man. - Twilight was gay vampires. They stuck each other's victims. - So I guess so. - I guess so. - That's not the thing. - I'm out of time for this shit you talking, bro. - You know what's man, you know what's crazy? - I was trying to find a way to hate on time, and I can't even do it. That's how good he is. - No, I tried. - No, I tried. - I tried. As soon as I was like, I got to keep the screen going. - Only not. - I couldn't even think of nothing to hate. - No, only not you could ever say on time is has he been positioned with a movie where he has to be the draw. Spider-Man is gonna get a certain mad draw. Oppenheimer is gonna get it. - Odyssey. - Yo. - You can't. - Yo, we want to go see the Odyssey 'cause the Tom, Zendaya, and John. Yo, just face it, shouts. I didn't even know Matt Damon was in that shit, bro. Tom was in that shit, but I saw the interviews Tom did when Tom said, yo, whatever Christopher Nolan is doing, Marvel, y'all need to get on board. I was like, oh shit. I didn't even know fucking Matt Damon was in that shit. - Really? - No, bro, not at all. Didn't Matt do something with you? - Fuck you, bro. - That was Matt's greatest role, but what's it, what's it, what's it? Matt hasn't done nothing that great since the Odyssey was destroyed, all right? Now Odyssey was the closest fucking thing, bro. And yo, he literally left the next day after filming that promo for the special for me. He left the next day to go film the Odyssey. If Matt sold fire, why is Christopher Nolan in the draw? Christopher Nolan in Tom Holland is the reason we wouldn't go see that. Christopher Nolan is the biggest thing in Hollywood. He's bigger than any actor. He's bigger than any producer. He's bigger than any studio. No question about it. Yeah, but Tom Holland makes him bigger, bro. Tom Holland is the Odyssey. - Tom Holland, who ever sent me that DM about how Charlotte was gonna hate on Tom Holland? I just want you to know, he saw it. - No hate for Tom Holland. - And he's doing his best to now celebrate the white pool. - No hate for Tom Holland, but Tom Holland makes it easy for me to hate on all other white guys. Robert Patterson, not even close. Toby McGuire, not even close. Timothy Shalame, please, wait a minute. Tom Holland, if you need, you don't have a British accent. And you were a swaggy white boy from America. He would be hating you so much. - Best role, Timothy Shalame played in years was the role of a Nick's fan. Okay, so, the role of a Nick's fan was better. Did Marty Supreme, what else was he in? What was the ping-pattled movie? What's the chick called, ping-pattled? - Marty Supreme. - Wasn't he the new trolley and the chocolate factory guy, too? - Yeah, I watched it. - Look, garbage, what else going on, man? - Yeah. (laughing) - Wait, why are you all in marble? What do y'all think about the new black panther? - I trust when I'm in Google. - Let me ask you a honest question. - Yeah. - 100% off. Would you be comfortable with Tom Holland being black? - What? - Why would he be in it? - It's black panther. - It's Tom Holland, good enough for you. - I mean, there was a white guy that was a black panther at one point. - Would you think that he's good enough for you? - No, I don't want that in my superheroes. Like I want, like even when they're talking about now, having the black magneto and black professor X, I don't want that. I want you to make Magneto, Jewish. Like he's always been professor X Handicap. I want, that's, the X-Men is the, I was literally having this conversation with one. X-Men is the one superhero film that they don't have to do any diversity to, 'cause it's already diverse. They got everything you want. Black people, Asian people, candy caps. - I'm sure people have asked this question, but like professor X has the ability to like, move his chair with his mind. - Yeah. - Why does he move his legs with him? - I don't know, I really don't know. - That's not like, that must be a question of people. - It's actually crazy. I really don't know. - Like what are his legs made out of that? - Why don't you just float? - Yeah, why? - Why don't he just float? Or go possess somebody that can walk. You can do that too, you know what I mean? Like it's just, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. I don't want no white black pantses. - What about black Spider-Man? - We have one, Miles Morales. - I know, if you think that's gonna-- - Oh yeah, that's all no way. - He's Puerto Rican. Well, Puerto Rican and black. He's black and Puerto Rican. He's ever Latino. He's Puerto Rican. So that's all in the way. It's absolutely on the way. They got one more Spider-Verse movie, which is gonna do crazy numbers. And then they say they're gonna introduce the live-action Miles Morales. Talk, Tom Hollis say that's actually who he wants to pass the torch to. - Oh wow. - I saw, but that's how it's done. - I wouldn't do it, you know. - No. - There was a-- - I won't follow that, I won't follow Tom. I won't follow. - That's how it was like that, huh? - There was a cover. - Nah, right now. - There was a cover, I saw with Spider-Man. I guess it wasn't brand new day. And if you look closely, there's like a shoemark of Miles. - No, it's not. - Yeah. - That's how it's sitting in it made up. A shoemark, why would there be a shoemark of Miles? - 'Cause everybody knows the Miles-- - It's the ones. - Yeah, that's what it was. - Hmm, maybe, I don't fucking know. What else we got, man? What else going on, Shotsie? - Wait, when do you rank it in terms of Marvel movies? - Marvel movies? - Yeah, Marvel, yup. - I don't know, I don't think I rank it. - You rank it now? - It's not connected to nothing. See, this is what I gotta do. I gotta stop going in the Marvel movies looking for continuity. Like none of this shit has had any continuity over the last seven H's, the reason I can't rank it over any of the original infinity saga movies is because all of those movies have continuity. Like I can't put this over endgame, infinity war, civil war. I can't put it over none of the adventure movies. I can't, I just, I don't know where I would rank it. I can't put it over the black panther. I don't know, bro. Like I don't know, it's just a good movie, it's good, but it's good. It's a good movie that doesn't feel like it's connected to anything, at least now. Maybe later, we might connect it to you. - You can't give it up. - Do what? - If Tom is the greatest, you say, why can't you just give it up to the movie that you saw? - 'Cause Tom, see Tom can, he's carrying a film like this. So he can be in a film that may not be necessarily, where do you rank it before I even say it? What do you rank it? - Probably top five. - Okay, he thinks it's top five. I don't, you think it's top five? - It's all Marvel. Not just top five Spider-Man. - Yeah. - No, it's top one Spider-Man, and then it's top five Marvel. I put it in game, in game Infinity War, Civil War, and then probably Ragnarok, and then I'm putting it. - I thought you liked my panther, though. - It's really good, but it's good in the way of-- - The panther would be in probably top 10. - It's crazy. - You can't put any Guardians movies in there. - Guardians. - Those Guardians movies. - Those are five, two years. - I think we don't even consider Guardians part of it. - Buyer, I didn't forget that just now. - Like Guardians feels like it's own thing, even though it is connected in Marvel, like outside of when the Avengers shits, we don't even really consider Marvel for some reason. But it's incredible. Which is crazy, because all the Spider-Man movies, the comp would be the Guardians. 'Cause they're light, they're camping, they're fun. So far of the Spider-Man I've seen, they're not fucking with Guardians. Guardians on a different level, bro. - Right? - Guardians on a different level. - I think it passed Raccoon. - The Raccoon is, come on now. - And the thing is weird, it is. (laughing) - I knew, I think it's weird having a Raccoon with a gun. - It's not weird a green girl. (laughing) - But that's like, 'cause our main part is space, so like why is a Raccoon in space? - Nah, she makes the weird. You would be offended if you called them a Raccoon. - I know that, but it is though. That's what it is. - It's a superhero movie, man. I don't wanna hear nothing about Wokeness. I'd none of that shit in superhero. I don't wanna hear about what's real in a movie where motherfuckers are flying, bro. It's a superhero movie. - Yo, just question like that guy. - You know what's even crazy about these movies? How the fuck did they breathe in space? - Exactly. - Nobody ever questions how Spider-Man, Iron Man, Chris Evans, breathe in space. They're all humans. - I can see that. - Nothing at the helmet. - What you mean?
- They always have stuff. - Yeah, I am. - Oh, they don't get on them ships and they mask them right off. - Yeah, but on the ship, there's oxygen. - Not in the alien ship. Remember when they are looking on the alien ship? How do the aliens clearly know? - I don't know what the fuck the aliens breathe. - Yeah, you don't know what the fuck they're like. - So once again, why are we trying to figure that it's a fucking movie? Who gives a fuck? I'm just saying it. This is what happens when you try to make mistakes. - They've played about why we try to figure it out. - I know, man. This is what happens when you try to make a sense of superhero movies, okay? - It's a fucking superhero movie. Let the superheroes be superheroes. Look at these pitiful numbers that Robert Patties and Jack and Twilight. I can't even believe he even pulled those shit up. - Yeah, what are they? - Hit 'em out. - Are you crazy? - Read 'em out. Read 'em out. - The first one. - The first one. - 17 million worldwide. - Second one. - Yo. - The second one is. - Yo, the second one is. - 709.8 million. - Third one is. - All time. - That doesn't mean that they reached. - Third one is. - After that in a weekend. - Third one is. - 698.5 million worldwide. - All time. And that's been since 2010. - Fourth one is. - 712.5 million. - Fifth one is. - Fifth one is. - That was 20 or 11. - Fifth one is 829. Now I want you to run those numbers through inflation. - Yes. - Yo. - And I want you to tell me that that's worth now. - Yeah, but listen, listen. - I want you to tell me what, in 2009, right after the financial crisis. - Motherfucker's lost everything. - These numbers. - And they went in debt to go see. - They ran up. - They ran up. - These numbers, it took 23 years to get to this number. Tom Holland did it in 48 fucking hours, bro. - But she's talking about it. - But you got to, you got to. - Tom Holland did it in a million 48 hours. - We got to inflate it. - I'm buying a ticket back then. A ticket for the movies was like $7. - How difficult is it now? - Now it's $20 a little movie. - So Tom Holland's the fucking goal. - The opposite if you know math. - What do you mean? - Because then a ticket with cheaper back then. - Correct. So you got to sell more tickets to make that money. - No. - Anybody go to the movies? - No, no, no. - No, no, no. - No, no. - No, no, no. - No, no. - No, no, no. - No, no. - No, no, no, no. - No, no, no. - No, no, no, no. - No, no, no. - No one's going to the movies now. Tom bought people back to the movies two weeks in a row. - Did you just see what he did? - Yes, no. - He just did. He said he brought it back two weeks. - Because I'm in knowledge that I know it's three. But fuck that was a buck. - That was a buck. - Because I know it's three. - That was a buck. - Because my body won't let me lie. - I know it's three, because I know it's three, but for the sake of the argument, I got to say two weeks in a row. - I don't even know. - Do y'all know what I have to go through? - 'Cause I don't know if my ears are my, - If my body won't let me lie, threw up three because I know it's three weeks. But for the sake of the argument, I had to say two. - But you know, eight hundred and twenty-nine million in 2012 is about one point two billion today. - All right, Tom Holland did that. - No. - They didn't. - Tom Holland did almost a billion this weekend. - Almost a billion. - What if the movie falls off a cliff? - Second? - No. - First of all, look this up. What's the highest grossing box office film of all time? - If Spider-Man number two, what's number one? - Avatar. - Probably Avatar, right? - Yeah, probably one of the Avatar. - I was thinking of Spider-Man. I mean, Star Wars is one of the Avatar's, I was thinking of Avatar. - Avatar. - And then Titanic. - Avatar. - Avatar, right? - Which one? - This is the first one. - This is the first one, Cameron joint. - This is basically it. - Shout out to fucking Tom Holland, man. The goat. (upbeat music) Squarespace is the all-well website platform design to help you stand out and succeed online. When I was 25, I just sleep four hours, eat some bowl shit, hit the gym once and somehow wake up looking athletic. Now, I have one burger and my stomach is like, yeah, I can't see your penis no more when you look down, huh? Everybody blames age, but I started looking into it. And one thing that surprised me is that men's testosterone naturally starts dropping in our 30s. That can make it harder to stay lean, build muscle and keep your energy up, even if you're putting in the work. That's why I recommend Mars Men. To switch it all the way over. Why does that say transgender dolls? Did you see? No. I don't want to see. What happened? What is it? What are they? Autobots? They said transgender. What is it? What is it? What is it? Transgender dolls. I don't know. I was set to debut in Minnesota classrooms this fall. The taxpayer-funded paper dolls come with genitalia that can be removed and then swapped out. A therapist at the University of Minnesota Medical tells the New York Post that they spent a decade developing the dolls. The goal is to help kids, quote, learn about the different options. I'm not. I don't even believe this is real. I don't believe this. As a parent, I kind of like this. Tell me what? Because now you don't have to buy different dolls for your kids if they're different genders. So you have a boy. He wants to play with a boy. Then it went. Why do we even show the genitalia of the dolls? When did we even show it? When we were growing up, there was no genitalia of the dolls. It was just. It was tough. Okay, I'm shocked. Bobby even had titties, but she didn't have nipples. Bobby didn't even have nipples. Okay. Ken didn't have a dick. He didn't have a dick. We don't even have to see, like, why? What's the point of this, guys? Like, this is rage. I really, I really rage rage rage. Our bait rage. What's the term? Rage bait. I can't believe we're back on the trans stuff again. I literally couldn't believe it with the WMV. I couldn't believe we're back in the same conversation. It feels like I'm in some, like, Bizarro. What is that Bill Murray movie, Groundhog Day? Where it's just, like, every three or four years, the same topic comes up and everybody is performantly outraged by it. Now, I didn't hear exactly what Sophia Cunningham said, but the gist of it is she doesn't want biological men playing in women's. But I thought we all figured that out. Like, I thought we all came to the conclusion that it's not hateful to say that there's a genetic advantage for certain people. Well, I always said it should be one for a team. But that's before the WMV was really, really exciting like it is now. You can go back to early episode of Bury and they did. I was saying it should be one transgender per WMV. They don't need them now. WMV ain't smoking shit. Like that's it. I love the WMV. Right, right. Not at a good point. That's it. I was about to take it serious. And then I was like, what? I didn't share it. We're not here for that. No, we're not here for that. No, 15 years ago, we're not here for that. 15 years ago, we're not here for that. Listen, 12 was rage, baby. 10, 12 years ago, they might have needed one transgender per T. One. Just one. Just the one to make it exciting. Now, they don't need it. They don't need it. They got to live your miles. They got to Asian Wilson. You got the Katelyn Clarks. You got the Angel Reese's. I know the point you're making. They out there, but they're falling. Yeah, I know the point you're making. So yeah, go on. And the league is so good that women are cheating on each other. They getting the voice. Brittany grinders on her second to voice with three kids. Fire. You know, three kids living, broken homes everywhere. They're on dressing page at the WMBA. All started getting it. You didn't see them tell it. They bullied her to take her shirt off. You didn't see them? No. And she's just chilling in a sports bra with a jacket on. No, man. Yeah. Leave that girl alone. They throw and deal those on the court. WMBA is popping. WMBA got everything it needs to continue to be. You know, why did they never, why did they never take in one of those like smelling dogs? Oh, my God. Because you know when they threw the dildos and they're like, we don't know who threw it. Take the smelling dog. Have them smell the dildo and then smell throughout the arena. But it'll be confusing, man. Cause I notice that I'll tune in the arena. The dog will be confused. Fuck. The dog will be so fucking confused.
(laughing) Listen, all I'm simply saying is the WNBA has everything it needs to continue to be a prosperous league. Number one, they have a great product that they're putting on that floor. And number two, they got all the drama. WNBA Storylines are better than NBA Storylines, yo. Facts. What's the drama going on in the NBA? There's no drama. None, we still fucking LeBron going to the six, LeBron going to new teams is still. - Come on, bro. - Shit people talking about. - That's the biggest story. - What's the biggest story? - LeBron to the sixers. - I don't know. - I mean, Nixon's six. - Nixon. - It's okay being a one term president. - Nixon's six. - People are going to look back at Biden better than it feels right now. - I almost had a magical run. I'm happy for you. - Oh, I didn't even know he was talking shit about him. - I know, I know. I have to beat him. I just caught him now. Hold on, let me sit up. Hold on. I feel nice to Chris now because he brought his daughter last week and realized that Chris is a real human being. And you have like a grown-ass daughter. - Got a grown-daughter. - Teasing his guy. - grown-daughter. - Can't do this. - Raise the sixers fan. - I will say this. - And this is a lesson in authenticity. This is a lesson in resilience for who? For me. - Oh. - When the next made their run, I lived in New York City for a long time. - Yeah. - People said to me, come on man, stop being a hater. - Yeah. - Enjoy it. Go to the watch parties. Celebrate. - Yeah, no. - I said, last round, they came to my city. They stomped on the jerseys. They disrespected. That's not what being a true fan is about. Andrew, you've lived in different cities. Am I gonna find any pictures of you out there and the heat jerseys in the heat head? Not a single one. Am I gonna find you on anything? - No. - You don't do that. You don't switch it up. - No, I respect that. I respect that. - You don't switch it up. Even when the entire city is flowing in the other direction, you stand and look. - Ten toes down. - They look very dark a month ago. - Yeah. - They look very dark for us. - Why? You had Jalen Brown? - No. - Fucking Tyres Maxi. - We had a B.J. - B.J. - B.J. - And B. - That's a good spot. - And then something happened. - What happened? - We got Jalen Brown and I said, this feels different. I'm not used to this. - And then what else happened? - And then in his wisdom, the goat looked around the league. - He surveyed the league, wait for this. - That looks good. - The goat surveyed the league and he said, what's the one fan base that stood? Ten toes down. - Oh. - What's the one fan base that deserves my presence? What's the one fan base that didn't switch it up and flock? Like everybody else in the front row of MSG. What's the one fan base where if I bring my talents to that city, they deserve the difference I'm going to make? And in his wisdom. - This how you're talking to your mind? - He looked around. He felt off the 70s. - Right, right. - Wow. I'm very happy for you guys. - Yeah. - There's a beautiful moment in time but it's just going to be a moment. - You think that you-- - So you think that six is about to take it up? - Tell her, who are you? - I'm not a, I'm sorry, I wasn't raised to be a six this man. - I understand, where are you born? Where are you raised? - In PA. - Upper Darby? - No, if I'm getting it wrong, it's not Upper Darby. - Another is in dark moments and you slander the goat. But now's the moment. - I already said, look, I said, if he gives PA a ring or PA, if he gives Philly a ring, I respect him a lot more in a sense. - You know, the New York Knicks are the reason that LeBron James went to Philadelphia because I believe-- - Why you say that? - Because he wanted to play in New York and he saw the love that a team, like the Knicks can get when they bring a championship to us, Dean, a city that's been snarved of a championship. There's only two for real, I could be completely wrong, but I believe there's only two, maybe three, completely basketball cities in America. New York, Philly and Boston. - And I'm gonna give LA just a little bit. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Lake Dress, yeah, you're right, you're right, you're right. - You're really looking. - Yeah, but nobody's from LA. - That's what I said, it's like everybody moves LA, so you're pretending to be a Lakers fan. - I'm talking about the Paul Pierce's guys like that. There are a lot of guys who really the best girls are hard to do. - Also, I don't know Philly's a basketball town. - He's a basketball town. - Can I make an argument? - Philadelphia's a basketball town. - I think Philly is a bigger football town than it is basketball. - Yes. - But it's roots or games. - We thought that about the New York, too. - No, but what I would say, nobody in New York said, you got to understand. Nobody in New York City, not a single one of us growing up put on football pads or a helmet. - Yeah. - We have no understanding of football, like the idea of playing football in high school is like absurd to all of us. We played one sport. You played baseball when you were a kid and little league, when your parents would take you out to Randall's Island. But outside of that, you never touched the baseball. We played one sport, it's basketball, it's the only sport this town cares about. - Philly's close to that though. - I would say. - Philly's the closest. - Philly's close to that, but Philly got a relationship with the Eagles that like a college town has with their team. - Let me give you a counter to that. I agree with you. There's no question the Eagles are the number one team in the city. And a lot of that is because they've been successful. - They won. - But this is the one difference between New York and Philly when it comes to basketball. Philly is a college basketball town. Philly has the big five. They have a 60, 70 year old tradition of those teams going at each other. - So they're like college, but for example, what I would say is like, there's no style of a Philly basketball player. So for example, you would never go, oh yeah, he's a Philly style point guard, or he's a Philly style. - That's interesting. - And boxing. - Philly boxes, yeah, I'm just saying that. - That's an ideal. - That's interesting, right? - They've been fully-liquely. - Kenny Anderson, he's classic New York City punk. - Of course. - But I think all that stuff is out the window with the internet right now. I can see the point. - I'm just talking about culture. - Historically. It's the internet. You know what a New York point guard is. Sebastian Telfer, Stefan Marbury. These are like long legacies of the point guards that went to Bannister, or what was the other school out, Lincoln, or went to Christ the King. Like, we got these institutions. Even our rappers hooked in high school. Cam was playing, Mace was playing. Like, these-- - Gilly played? - Gilly played, bro. - I think Gilly played better than that. - I'll count up for Gilly. - I was looking at Gilly's, somebody put out a table Gilly in high school. Gilly's smoking shit. - No, Gilly's in high school. - I think that's what I'm talking about. - I smoke in shit. But even Gilly, I see as an Eagles fan. - No, I didn't switch up. - He didn't switch up. - I didn't switch up. But identity wise. - He'll be more excited when the Sixers bring it home. - Definitely here. - I guarantee you the highest-selling jersey ever in Philadelphia Sports History with Alan Overson. - Yes. - Yeah. - And probably Dr. Jay No. 2. - All right, so let me tell you that-- - In all the sports, I bet you if you looked it up, Alan Overson got the highest-selling jersey in Philly history. - All right, sure. So here's the thing, with New Yorkers. - Love it. - Oh, shit. - Love it. - See what I'm saying? - He pulled out the AI. Why are you walking around around the may I just say? - Wait, why is he? - Why? - Well, why, Chris? - It's time. - What? - Yo. - Now, tell me if you think this thing is crazy. Tell me if you think this thing is crazy. I don't even know if you grew up in New York City. This sounds crazy, but it might be true. I don't even really know if you like football if you grew up in New York City. I think people in New York-- - Jersey. - It's Jersey and Long Island. Maybe some more far parts of Queens or Staten Island. - Well, Staten Island. - Staten Island a little bit. 'Cause they actually have room to play football out there. You could have the high school's gonna have it. I think if you grew up in the city city, you like the giant-sited jets or whatever, but that's really a suburban thing. It's a like football. So to us, it's only basketball. Boston, I would say. - Basketball, too. - It's basketball because of the history of the Celtics. - And 'cause the Patriots aren't necessarily in Boston. - Well, to me, the Patriots are Boston. But here's the thing that I don't get with Boston. I never seen people playing basketball in Boston. I never seen a hoop somewhere. I never heard of a pickup run. I never heard of like an iconic place where you could go play hoops. We got-- just stop dribbling in Boston right now. They're listening to the brilliant idiots in their head fully. Like, what the fuck is Andrew talking about? - And they're alone. (laughing) In that part of the moment. (laughing) - There's nobody else. - There's nobody else. - Whatever it's called. I will believe it. In New York, we have iconic pickup court. - Pick a court. - Yeah. - The rocker, West Fourth, the garden out in Queens or whatever. We're like Marbury and Telefair played in the project. So whatever they call that shit. There's like iconic, not even professional basketball. - Sure. Philly has Sonny Hillley. You know what I just saw? - I'll be able to hear that. - Oh, come on. - You know what they said? The highest-selling jersey in Philly history is Chris. - Come on. - Philly history is Chris. - Fuckin' Bryce Harper. They say-- - This is Forbidden Guy's 2019. - This is Forbidden Guy's 2019. Let's not get side-tracked.
Let's knock it side by now. Gilly might be the best Philadelphia that's ever played basketball. You can't prove me otherwise. Homegrown talent. Tell me another homegrown talent from Philly. - Well, can you name one NBA player from Philly? - Let's say we're talking about-- - I can't believe you didn't say Kobe, by the way. - I don't count Kobe because he was raised in Italy. - All right, so give me one, give me one, a break from Kobe. - Well, you know, people would say well, Chamberlain's one of the five greatest players of all time. - Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Overbroke high, what are we talking about? - Oh, yeah, yeah, you're right. - I know that. - Well, I mean, technically, will, Kobe. - Yeah, Kobe's in 8-9 Colt, but I don't know. - They really call a little bit of Kobe school. - Listen, I don't even got to look it up. All I know is if LeBron James won the championship in Philadelphia, it will be great. It'll be great for the City of Philly. They haven't won a championship in what 43 fucking years. And winning a championship for our all-time historic franchise. - That's actually no chance. - Guys, there's no chance. - It's gonna be so good. - You guys don't know the lyrics. - How you gonna go through the mix? - Don't let me tell it. - They're gonna get their whole-- - Don't let me tell it. - Oh, they're gonna-- - What's the one thing that's indisputable? - I never heard Chris Ray's voice. - What's the one thing that's undisputable about LeBron? What do we all agree about LeBron? - He's church. - He's church? - No. - The flops? - What? - Basketball genius. - Why? - Everything it has to do with everything. He looked around. He could've gone anywhere. He could've gone to San Antonio to put them over there. - I don't know. I don't know. - I don't say these 76's problems all these years has been they've been too stupid. (laughing) - In any ways, Chris, I don't know if there was a market for Brian, like y'all, thank you all. - Oh my God, come on. - I really don't. There's a financial market, meaning people wanna see him play one last time - He's a basketball genius. - Let me tell you something. Nobody's worried about LeBron. Nobody on the East Coast, not a single team is going, oh no, we're playing LeBron. - Why? I don't worry about him when he has to be one of the top two guys. You got it. No, you're going to be five. You got to be worried about that. You're right. You got a bridge. I'm not worried about that. You're not worried about Josh heart. I got I got a rejuvenated Joel and bead. I got the young 42 gay edge comb. Joel. Play 42 games. He's fine. He's 90 degrees back. He's one basketball. Who's going to be the number one guy on the team? Every night's a different story. That's not going to work. That's not how I work called versatility. All right. It's called losing. You've got to have a jail in Brunson where you get the rock in his hand. He wanted to be fluid, fucking liberal. We want your team. We're going to flow right through the east, the west, the playoffs. No, I'm a beautiful question. The artist. Well, he was like, Chris does you respect the player that goes to different teams and try to win the ring instead of staying on one team? I will say I loved what Derek Fisher said. That was hard. And I agree with that. Derek Fisher said, you're not ring chasing. If you're the reason the people get the ring, but you're not ring chasing when you're the guy that creates the ring. Yes. Like go back in NBA sports history. It's not about where like what team. The guy is on. It's about what team. It's about where he is not the city or the team. Yeah. So Lou Alcinders, Kareem Abdul Jibar. He didn't chase rings where he went. The rings followed. Yes. Yes indeed. So it's the set like when you look at the history of all of the greats. It's where they are that the rings go. It's not the other way around. It's not like a ring is sitting in Philadelphia. And he's going to chase it. His addition will increase the chances of them getting it. Yeah. They look good on paper without them. But they may not win it without them either. And they could also come up short with him. I agree. Like like that's not ring chasing. Like LeBron goes the team and team the rings follow him. I completely like that was actually I was like you know what that's. Can you do to go to the status ring chasing KD to go to say to the ring chasing because KD never want to ring anywhere and still hasn't want to ring anywhere else. He went the golden state because golden state were champions. He won two rings and hasn't won anywhere else. LeBron is one everywhere he went. He's been the difference maker. 100% so it's anything. He go to Philly. That's not ring chasing. He's not LeBron's rings. No. People try to knock the bubble ring and I think that's bullshit. I respect that more. What's that? Go into different teams and getting your ring versus. It's not about more or less. It's if you go to a different team and you build the team you deserve the credit. If you go to a different team that's already an amazing team and they're already winning championships and you win another one with them. It's not as bad. It's going to be one of the biggest points that people bring up if LeBron wins a ring in Philly because he literally want to ring with every team he went to. So as soon as somebody says man he chased he went to the team and he won a ring every time he went to a team. He's going to win a ring with us and he will undisputably be the goat. I've always had Jordan above him. No. Really? No. That's how you go. Now you just saying that's great. Now you just saying anything for the sake of saying he's still listen LeBron standing on that team like let's just talk about the build of the team like how you this is a three point game we live in right now. I got my my young my young gun. Anthony Simon's coming off the bench. No, no, give me your starting five. The five they're going to play the last. Tyree's Mark Maxi arguably one of the best shooters in the league. Shooters. Now he gets to play off ball with LeBron you got one. VJ's been in the lab all summer. What does that mean? Putting on muscle, perfecting his three point shot. He's going to be a sniper. You got Maxi. You got Maxi. Brown a very legitimate shooter. No. Yes. Embed always a decent three point. I mean, he better hope that he's out there. He's going to pick it up. I'm going to see him at around 40% this year. Chris. There's no way Joe Ellen beat will be playing outside at a perimeter on this team. He has to go down low. That's the only thing that he has to go where LeBron tells us. That's dumb. If if he's still shooting threes on this team. No, I like him shooting. No, I like. I don't. I mean, I mean personally, I think for that team, you need him on the wing because you need to create lanes for Jalen and you create lanes for Paul. Because otherwise it's going to be to George. No, he's gone. Sorry, not Paul George. Jalen. I'm sorry. Jalen and Maxi to drive VJ to drive and beat out on the perimeter. Now if he has to take a cat down low and bang him and post him, we'll do that too. Maxi. I'm going to be honest with you based off with shows. Just said. Nick's in five. Yeah, I think about it. Like they got to get this chemistry. I already knew they wasn't going to have no chemistry, but I don't think they're out hitting the clubs. They're partying. They got it. First round. Oh my God. Come on. I don't think you make it out of the first. You don't have any shooting. There's no shooting. This is a three point game. You don't come back from downfucking 39 or whatever the hell we came back from with going two for 12. Talk to me. A difference. The thing I did like about the nicks is the nicks do take it to the basket. I think that San Antonio Spurs died on the three point shooting that game because they didn't switch it up in the second half and they just kept shooting shooting shooting and missing me while nicks was going down there getting layups getting dunks. We were going to the basket. They were hitting a few threes. But I think it was the fact that the Spurs were missing a bunch of threes and the nicks were driving to the basket. That's what I like about the nicks. You got to hit. You guys are already for Maxi off ball. That's what you don't understand. He's been miscast. Playing out of position. Now LeBron is orchestrating LeBron is playing point. He's setting all these guys up. I'll be playing point. So you have all five of you play his on the perimeter. Hey, I know what we did. If in beat has to take you down the punish you so beat. Kat doesn't want it with in beat down though. Kat will smoke him. No. Come on. It makes it going to be so good. It was a beautiful year for the nicks. I'm very happy for every day. They're going to be better next year. They champions playing with a different level of confidence. If a level of confidence, you're not thinking about New York confidence. No, we got new confidence. This is a different type of confidence. I think you know, I think you guys might miss the playoffs. No, I'm not. We're just going to sit it out and then. I think you might miss the play. And be and be God forbid, but a beat could get injured without a beat. That's like you guys are kind of a mediocre. You said God for a bit and beat could get injured. God forbid. I don't wish that I'm anyone. You get injured. We're going to run. God said, got you. We've got to worry about that. It's part of his legacy. It's part of his destiny. Joellen beat 47 games next year. Okay. This week's episode of the brewing that this is also brought to you by tempo. What you got has a kayak walk off Saturday, Halifax Nova Scotia, great outdoors fest, awesome show, wild venue outdoors like insane. So we'll see you guys up there Halifax Nova Scotia, I'm coming up there and bringing Mark Gagnon, Camp Patterson, Lucas Zellnick, Rory Gardner opening it up. So it's going to be a great show. See you guys there. All right. What else we got? Taylor Gang. Oh, Salute. I'm getting a start on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, man. Brother, I wanted to bring that up. I'm getting a start on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. All right. Unbelievable. In the category of radio, next we have a man who is the voice of the culture, a radio hall of fame inductee, and an absolute force. It's all a name to God. All the digital dickheads out there, man. Tell me. It's just funny. It's funny to watch because it's not hard to have conversations with people about stuff like this because you can just tell them that they choose to listen, right? So people will see my name along with like who else is getting in this year, Kiki Palmer, Delroy Lindo, Ildress Elba, right, Little Wayne. And they're like, what the fuck is Charlemagne up there for? Guys, they have a radio category. The Hollywood Walk of Fame has a radio category. Radio, music, acting, radio, music, acting. I can't remember the other categories, but they have a radio category. I know y'all think radio is just prehistoric, and nobody listens to it anymore, but that's not the case. And the Hollywood Walk of Fame has an actual radio category. I think there's 2,800 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and like 9% of them are radio personnel. So it's just a rare feat. Why wouldn't I be in there for radio? I'm just saying, like why wouldn't I be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for radio? Yeah, there'd be no reason not to. Elvis Durand has a star, Angie Martinez got selected for a star a couple of years ago. Wendy Williams has a star. I feel like I should have a star, and I would walk of fame for radio. You're so good at knowing what people are saying to think about things. I mean, you look at it. You see it. Like, you know, if somebody put a post, somebody will at me and tag me, and they'll ask the question, like, why is Charlemagne getting the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Because there's a radio category. I'm already in the radio hall of fame. I think I'm pretty good at this radio thing, guys. I think so. I mean, doing it for 28 years, okay? It'll be 16 years of breakfast club this December, right? All right? And the funny part is my motherfuckers be like, the fuck is the radio person there? When the fuck is the radio guy getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for, because when they think Hollywood Walk of Fame, they think Hollywood, they think movies and shit like that. No, they have a radio category. So yes, I'm going to get my goddamn star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And for the people who say other scoopers shit like you pay for it, you don't know what you're talking about either. You have to be selected for it first, then you got to pay for it, okay? Yeah, what is the, why are they just trying to discredit? Shots, come on. What would the world be if people didn't try to discredit? Man, I saw a great quote. What would the world be if they didn't try to discredit you, man, in your accomplishments? But for people who want to know, you pay for the star after you get selected because you have to pay for the actual physical star, you got to pay for the star being the ground, you got to pay for the lifetime, maintenance of the star, and you have to pay for the ceremony. So it's just like, you know, getting invited to the Met Gala, like I don't know if y'all know it or not, but these people make donations, right, when they get invited to the Met Gala and it goes to the museum. So hey, man, Hollywood Walk of Fame, they got it, they got it, they got to make money too, but you don't pay for the star, you can't go there and say, hey, let me get a star. Now, the case would be a lot more than 2,800 of them. A lot of the award shows are the same way. What do you mean, like, sports campaign and stuff? You got to pay the organization that throws them. Oh, I didn't know that. Oh, and I wanted to find this fucking quote. What's the quote? Like, like, like, like, taking pleasure in the, in like, the criticism of the successful, the downfall, the successful is the, the drug of the mediocre or something like that. Yeah, yeah. Like, you're exposing your own mediocrity by taking pleasure in knocking successful people down. Yeah. Does that make sense? I love it. Listen, I, by the way, I love it. There's nothing more that warms my cold heart than the watch people mad at me being successful. The time and energy that y'all take to make your videos and send out your posts. Thank you. I appreciate you. Cause I keep telling y'all over and over that algorithm don't know the fucking difference. It just doesn't. The algorithm has no idea what, why is your name is alive in the algorithm is just in the algorithm. So thank you. The downfall of the great has always been the joy of the mediocre. Ooh. Ooh. So that means that the, uh, the continued evolution of the great was making mediocre sick. Right? But I just make that up. Nah. You, of course, then I want you to win because, well, cause there's got to be a reason why they're not winning. Well, I can't wait to tell y'all when the ceremony is going to be, okay? You are. I want to be there. Me too. Of course. You talking about. I got to do it. What do you mean? I hit you up when I saw. And I was like, bro, when is this? I got to go. I thought you were doing it like last week. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'll probably wait and tell like early 2027, cause it's four to 2027. Got it. I don't even know when cause once I, you know, take care of everything, then they tell you schedule the ceremony and stuff. But I hope it's, I hope it's at a time where all of us can, you know, pull up, you know what I mean? I can't wait to, uh, do graffiti on it. That'd be dope. That'd be dope. That'd be dope. Y'all know stick one of them WNBA Dildos on his list lately. We don't have real brilliant idiots fans, if they're in a WNBA Dildo, stuck on that plaque, weekly. That's what the money's for. The money is the clean. We're gonna, I'm starting another fun, right? I'm starting another. Or make the, the money. It's the WNBA Dildo fun. Okay? So we need a weekly. We're gonna have the most popular star on the walkamp of what's been. I can't wait. And you know what's so interesting about this star? It wasn't something that I ever thought about. I never thought about a star in Hollywood walkamp, which is weird because usually I see other, like if I see like a Elvis Duran or Wendy, I'm like, oh, that's a goal. I never thought of that as a goal. I don't know why. Like never. Like never did I ever think about that as a goal. Because I don't know if it's like, I don't know if it's like a way that we judge radio people. No. There's not a big boy out of star. Right. But meaning like there are other examples of success that we would
would dictate like the gravity of a radio personality outside of a star on the walk-up deck. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - At least in my mind, you know, if someone told me like how it started, never got a star, I'd be like, I don't know. - You don't have one. - But I'm sure he's been offered a star. - I don't know if he's been offered because he's publicly bashed a process. Like he thinks it's ridiculous that you have to pay for it once they select you. - Well, who did expect to pay for chipping up the street and like inserting the thing? - I don't know. Like listen, I respect all sides of why people want 'em and why people don't want 'em. I know I'm going to get mine. - I mean, it's a small fee to pay for immortality. You know, as long as Los Angeles is here and it will be here for at least another five, 10 years. (laughing) I mean, it's an honor to have a meth-down homeless person take a shit on your name. - Hey, man. - I like who wouldn't want it, man. - Listen, I'm getting, I want it. Hollywood star, Hollywood star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hall of Fame, radio personality sound pretty good to me. - It is. - Okay. - An unbelievable accomplishment to be immortalized in the center hub for entertainment for the world. - I have no problem with it. - What are we talking about? I was going on porch and started getting texts and I was like, "What the fuck is going on?" - Oh, you didn't even, you weren't even there. - I had no idea. I had no idea that I had been submitted that, you know, they have to submit you. Somebody has to submit your name. I had no idea I had been submitted. It was a complete, complete, I had the same reaction as them. Everybody that was hitting me. That was the fucking shit. The fuck I'm getting the star for. - You know, the fuck am I getting the star for? But then you, oh, they got a radio category. All right, make sense. - That's so nice. - No, so I want it. What else we got, Taylor? - How much can I pay to have your name spelled wrong? - I mean, it's all, I'm definitely doing THA. - Really? - Yeah, I thought about saying, "Should I do it?" That's the name. - Yeah, that's the name, right? - That's the name. That's the name. - Why would you not? - I want you can't do Leonard McKelvie. - Oh yeah, why would you do that? - It's not the same. - Why would you do Leonard? If you would know your name. - In his Hollywood, right? Am I stage name, it's Ben Showman? I feel like your stage name should be on the star. - It is. - Why do you act like you wouldn't be? - I don't know. - I mean, it could be whatever I wanted to be, but yeah. - Yeah, I think Charlotte made the guy. - Yeah, yeah. - Because every actor who's changed their name uses their actor name. - Yeah, we'll be Goldberg, Naming, we'll be Goldberg. - Tom Cruise, Naming, Tom Cruise. - Jamie Foxx, Naming, Jamie Foxx. - Absolutely, 100%. - What's Tom Cruise's name? - Cruise Tom. (laughing) - No, what is this real name? - It's gonna be Holland in a minute. He's not even gonna want to be a cruise in a fucking minute. It's gonna be fucking Tom Holland. - His name is Tom Cruise Mappathur. - What? - I see why he changed it. (laughing) - Oh man. - Let's do some masculinity, it's me. - Let's do it. You know, they got to, is that real to easy 800s? 'Cause them shit look fire. Have you seen them? - Yeah. - Let me see. - I want them. - Them shit right there look fire. - Let me see them. - Them shit right there? - I want them. - They kind of look like Sacone's a little bit. - They look comfortable, man. - This is the first time I've seen him directly rip off. - A sneaker, right? - This is a direct rip off of a new balance. - A new balance. - Yeah, so call it your new balance. - These are new, new balance like 995's or something like that. - Yeah. - I like the colors and all the way. But like the shape of the sneaker is an identical new balance. - Yeah. - Or like an ASIC. - Or as to call it older ASIC, yeah, the new ASICs too, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right. You're absolutely right. Let's do some, let's do these ads, tell them. Let them do some masking to these. - Also, while we wait, did you know that Gen Z men are being more stay at home and the women have to work? - About time, how many millions of years we, you know, some work, millions of years, man. - What is a Gen Z, man? What, what year is it? - Well, my buddy, my buddy had funny estate. He's dead. And he's gay, nice and dead. - Oh. - And he was talking, he got three kids, he's talking about like being with the kids and whatever. And he was like, man, I was like, we're spending, our generation is spending three times more time with our kids than our parents and past generations. Like we're the first dads that are just there all the time. And, but we still have the responsibilities of work and that kind of stuff. Right? And what he's saying is why he's basically like, he's basically like, look, like, I never had anyone to learn how to do this. You know what I mean? It's like, I'm making this up as I go. Like, you had your mom doing all the time with you and the kid, you have an expectation of what you will do. The first generation being full-time dads and our wives aren't happy with how we're doing it. We're like, who the fuck are we supposed to learn from? Our dads are playing golf, we're going to do other shit or hanging out or drinking at the bar. That was normal. - No. My dad was very present. - So is mine. So is mine. I don't have the excuse. But the data shows that most times dads were, they're fighting a war. - My dad was outside. - That was outside. - He was fighting a war against his loins, all right? He was like, he was fucking, he might, like that. I had a whole lot of fun. - He was an affair. - Yeah. - What are you talking about? - Asynidians, what we got, what we got, Taylor Gang. What you got, Taylor Gang? - What you got, Taylor Gang. this week was last week was I want to go see a great
play, oh my God, you should go see, fuck, why can't you remember the title or nothing? There's this, it's every brilliant thing with Tracy Ellis Ross, hold on, what's it called? You know what I'm talking about? It's a one-woman play, but you'll like it because you understand, you don't have to help. That, I mean that too. Yes, every brilliant thing, oh my God, man, when you talk about art that puts people's anxiety, and depression, and perspective, and grief, and perspective, oh, and she's the only person, she's a one-woman play, so it's just her, but the audience is her co-host. So when you walk in, inside your play bill is a number and a line. And so as she's on stage, she's doing the play and she'll say the number and then the person who, whatever number is you got to scream the line back to her, so she incorporates the whole audience, oh, that shit is so dope, it's, it's, it's, it's, no, it's brisky though. What if you don't want to pay attention to the thing? She keeps saying the number. I'm just gonna say nine, nine. Yeah, yeah, like 10, 10,032, 10,032, and she does it so dope, like you, you don't even realize like, is she in a scene though, like, well, it's incorporated because it's called everything. So she's, the play is about her writing down all of these things that she loves and she numbers them. So when she screams out the number, the person screams out the thing and then that keeps the play going on. Everyone in the play gets called on. There's no way. Not everybody in the audience, but majority of a lot of large part of the audience. Yeah, and then she's surrounded on stage by a lot of the audience. The shit is dope, the shit is dope. Long story short, and then I got my good sister getting married this weekend, like, you know what I mean? So let's just say, no, stop dope for me. So this has been a very memorable summer. My daughter's going to college, like, this has been a very memorable summer. I will remember the summer of 26. I got the fucking star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Like, it's a big ad. This summer, I've been created a lot of memories. What about you? There's like crazy childhood memories, but I honestly think it's my, my daughter's at an age now where like, we're really communicating. Yeah. And it's just unbelievable. It's amazing. You know, it's like painful being away because she can literally go, when dad, will you come home? Will you come home? Oh my God. Yeah. But like, just being able to have conversations with her, you know, being able to like express what she wants and then go do it. Yeah, go a little like daddy, daughter dates. That's been the coolest thing that I can remember of something for sure. dope. I went to the Hampton store. You wasn't there. I went to the Hampton. Yeah, what you think? I thought the Hampton was dope. I get it. It reminds me of the low country. Interesting. It reminds me of like South Carolina, like, like, the Hilton heads, the Isle of Poms, the kid was, I get it. I get why if you're in New York, you would want to go to the Hampton. Yeah. It's a cool vibe. It's cool energy. Food is pretty good. Loft rolls. Oh my God. Where'd you go? You love the lobster. I love a fucking lobster. I don't remember the name of that place. It's shit. Only thing place I remember is the ice cream spot because my kids made me go there like twice. Oh, the, uh, in town? Yeah. Clouc or something like that. Whatever. Something with a B. Booterberry? Oh, yeah. Booterberry. Yeah. That's what it's called? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was dope though. I had a good time in the Hampton. Um, what's one aspect of life that everyone takes advantage of? Time. Time. Time. Time. Time. Time. Time. Mm. If so much of it until you have none of it. Yeah. Time. That's the best of, but the nice thing about having kids when you're older is that all the people that are your age that already had kids and older than you constantly remind you how fast it goes. Yeah. So now I have that in my brain. I'm like, okay, I got to soak up these moments. I got to take this. All right. I'm tired and I'm hung over because I had martini's at dinner. Well, fuck it. Let's get up because how many year, how many time, how much time am I going to have with her at two and a half years old just pushing around a swing? Like, yeah. That's actually made me stop drinking. Interesting. Because of that. Yeah. The mornings are cooks. I got I want to be up. I want to be up. I want to be up with the kids. Like I don't want to be, just be groggy. Yeah. Because it impacts everything. You work out all of that shit like that. Like it makes you. Yeah. I agree with that. Time. Time. Time. Definitely. Can you remember a time in your life that you wish time stopped temporarily? Absolutely. Every time I fucking had a premature. Oh, yeah. Hundreds. Like every single time. I'm like, why am I notting fast again? Why? You know, like, God damn. That's not what he talking about. It's my time. What about you? Showed. I am. That's a good one. I mean, yes, of course in those situations. You wish time stopped temporarily. I'll be doing that shit too. What? Stopping time. Just like blossom. I'll be like, is that what she could do? Yes. Every time I'm in a moment that I really, really enjoy, I do that shit, you know, I just feel like. Stop time. I'm dead sick. I do that, especially on vacation. And time be stopping. What the hell are you talking about? You two young to know who blossom is, man. I'm talking about the fucking powerful girls. I'm like the fuck she had that. No, man. That's it. That's the power. That's the blossom. Y'all know. That's not the blossom. We know next one. Okay, the blossom we know is motherfucking Mayan Beallock. Yeah. Who's that? Mayan Beallock. Okay. Jewish goat. All right. Okay. I can explain more. Where is it? Go watch blossom. I was a movie show. You don't think bang 32, though? Yeah. Yeah. Mayan was a legend. Oh, shit. I don't play with Mayan. We all right. I didn't connect it to. I'm sorry. Be like that. Ten. Say, hey, sir. That's not like a name. You should be saying, I watch it. Go. I'm doing now. Are we going to get brilliant? It is live in 2027. I just don't know how. Why? That's what busy, man. Yeah, but you're all fine. This is about finding time. People only make time for what they want to make time. That's true. I like making time for this. I like to win bring it is every week as a podcast. I love it. Y'all listen to us. I'm making a. Well, we'll end up doing something eventually for short, but wait for the movie. Yeah, the movie, man. Don't you want the movie? Let us cook. Let us cook. I want you to rather have a brilliant lady in some movie. Yeah. I got a. I think we should have a scene in the movie where we walk past like a graveyard. Oh, what movie should Christopher Nolan do next? The brilliant hideous. Yeah. Goddamn it. Okay. Yo Chris. Jay, I'm just going to stop. We need you Chris. The first comedy. Okay. Let's do one more. I know there is one. You got one you want us to do? Yeah, I'm going to do this. What's the power to give each other? What superpowers will I give each? Will we give each other? I would give him the super power to be able to land one. Like just one is a super power, but when you're able to actually get one off, fruits and vegetables went to war against each other. Who would win? Vegetables. Vegetables. No. They're way harder. Yeah. Exactly. The vegetables are way harder. He could have. He's taller than the fruit. Also, a pumpkin is just heavy. Pumpkin. Yeah. Yeah. But the fruits can be seen. The people's butch. Graven Cox. It's going to go to war with each other. Oh, I know what you're talking about. I get what you're saying. Oh, and I mean, what would a fruit do to an eggplant? Are you serious? Like what are you talking about? Okay. A fruit would fuck an egg plant up. What superpowers would. Oh, I like the other one. I would you know what superpower would give him? See, I wouldn't want to give him the super power. I would want to be Jean Gray. And then possess him and just go crazy. And finally do this special that I wanted. Wow. White devil's advocate. I've been trying to get him to do a special call white devil's advocate forever. I want to possess him and do the white devil's advocate. Okay. Why go? I don't know what I knew already. Now, but this is different because I want you to go in front of each audience and tell the jokes. You go in front of a group of transgenders. You tell the joke. Go in front of a group of black people. Tell the joke. You go in front of a group of Jewish people and tell the jokes. You going in front of a mag or fuck tell the joke. Like it's just
- Equal, opera, tunity, slander. - All in my show. - Exactly. - But if you want it to be only. - Yes, you remember that Chris Rock special where he starts it off, he goes, "London, New York, and you show him in all these different, that's what I would want to do, okay?" And I would shoot the special, not tell nobody I shot it. Get on X one day and just go crazy. I mean, just start saying the most wildest shit where Andrew's trending, everybody's mad. And then he's like, watch my special at eight o'clock these on Netflix, then it comes on. And people are even more pissed off. And then even more pissed off is actually fucking funny. And then shows what's up. And don't know what the fuck's going on. And I'm just sitting there smiling. We wake up in brilliant idiot studio. He's sitting there, the chaos has happened. Nobody knows why it's happened. - He's all confused. - He's all confused, but the world is a better place. - Why? - To the world. - To the world. - It's a better place. - The world is a better place. - Okay, listen. As always, if you listen to this podcast, think we're smart, you think we're intelligent, you think we're brilliant, you're absolutely right. But if you listen to this podcast, I think we're just a couple idiots. It don't know shit, you're right too. It's the brilliant idiot's podcast. Thank you for listening. Peace.
