Warsaw is winter and it's still dark. Tomasz just opens his eyes. I don't want to get up, but it has to be. He comes up, puts his cap and goes to the shop. Take him to the dining room, eat his food, and wash his hair. Look into the mirror and see the Smutny man. Who is Tomasz? Tomasz is a manager in a big bank. He has a big, modern living in the Warsaw center. He has a new and expensive car. He has a villa with a garden on the sea. You can think that Tomasz has everything he needs. Why is he a Smutny man? Tomasz is smart. He means that he doesn't have a family, nor a friend. He has 45 years, but he doesn't have a wife and children. He works a lot all the time. He gets up at 630, comes to work at 7, and comes back at 9 in the evening. He doesn't have time to recognize people. He doesn't have time to have friends. Tomasz is a family and a younger brother. They live in a small town in Poland, near Ukraine, but he never knows them. His mother is an Ameritian and calls him from time to time, but Tomasz is usually smart enough to talk to him. He calls him from the phone and says that Tomasz doesn't have time, or is in a meeting. This time when he was a young student, Tomasz wanted to have a friend and a family. He had a girlfriend, but he didn't know how to talk with him about emotions. He tried, but he didn't know how to tell him about it. He is an introvert, he doesn't like talking with people, and he doesn't like spending time with him. People irritate him. He wants to be alone, he feels comfortable. When he sees that his friends from work are talking about peace, he quickly goes back to his office. Maybe that's why nobody proposes him to go out on a coffee or a beer weekend. Don't focus too much on grammar. Just convey the meaning. Some polyglots do a little bit different exercise with stories.
