We're in Chicago and we are joined by Big Cat. - It's up, boys. - Thank you for being here. - First question, how many ads on this episode? - Ooh, that is a good question. I don't know if we have them yet, do we? - Four, four. - Okay. - 'Cause I'm looking to take like little private vacation, so I figure whatever I do on this show, it gets kicked back to me, right? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - We all split it so we can-- (laughing) - Good, I'm glad you understand it. - That's how it works. It's our first year in the week. - We had Mook and Jerry on, and they represented their size of the story. - Yeah, yeah. - I feel like you had a very unique bird's eye view of Sass's comments this past week. - There's something about when Sass gets going, and I can see it in his face. I'm like, oh, he's gonna do it. He's gonna say this shit. He's gonna say a really dumb thing right now. I love it about him, and I also think that Sass, like I said to Jerry right after. I was like, Sass is not a malicious thing that he said. He's just young and maybe a little immature, sorry if that hurts your feelings, but I used to think that too, where it's like, oh, we do this thing, we get this money, where's my cut? - Yeah. - And then you start to get older, and you're like, oh shit, yeah, I think like when I salaries-- - Yeah, when I first started on the Yuck, I think that was the worst I ever was. - Yeah. - That was where I was like, I should be getting a hundred percent. - Yeah, right, right, right. I'm like, oh, that's not how it works. - Yeah, I've gotten better, but last week was a bad week. It was a big fuck up. - You must be shocked whenever like NFL players go to collective bargaining, and they're like, oh yeah, how are they not getting a hundred percent? What do you mean? - He means for it's four billion, and they're only getting paid 50 million. - Bullshit, Joe Burrows getting robbed. - Joe Burrows should be making $3 billion a year. - Yeah, I believe in a free market. Have you talked to Dave recently? - No, last time-- - This is Chris. - This is awesome. - Sassin, I will just talk over here. - Last time that I talked to Dave was my negotiation, which went well. - Yeah, can you sign on for more this time? - Yeah, yeah, it was a good talk, and everything went well. I don't know, I can't say things are going well now. - I think they're fine. The big problem with that whole thing last week, which I talked about it a little bit already, but the big problem was that, so we ran out of things to talk about on son of a boy in that episode. Like, we were out. I was like, I'm just gonna talk. - No one had taken a flight that week. - Exactly, exactly. - Where's your stomachs working? - Yeah, we're strapped for topics. - Normal bowel movements, fuck. So, we're back half of the episode, oh my god, I was talking about this. The biggest issue with that was, we had the meeting with Austin right after that, and the meeting went very well. - Okay. - We were all like, alright, that makes sense. Like, he cleared up all of the things that we had can start. - This is the same thing we had when we had the meeting. - It's a recurring meeting. You have to have the meeting once a week. - I said that, yeah. - Just to remind ourselves like, okay, that makes sense. And then, God's like a great place. Everything made sense. Every Jerry was like, I get it. - Yeah. - You know, he was given another, I get it. And then the next morning that podcast came out, which I also did think about having it cut, and then I was like, I don't even think I said anything that crazy. And then, you know, you wake up and see the day of tweet, which that's happened to me a lot. - Yeah, I mean, they're pretty accustomed to that. - I said to Francis the other day, like the, Dave is, it's the invisible guest theory, where it's like as much as you think Dave is thinking about you, he's not. - Wow. - He saw you for a second, tweeted it, then went out a lot in his day. - That's exactly what I always said. - Right. - Dude, he's in Miami, and he's rich as, he's not thinking about us at all. - Right, which is actually probably a strength that Dave has in terms of like a leader is that everyone is always being like, man, Dave's thinking about me. - Yeah, definitely. - He's on the beach, and like he still is a pretty high volume tweeter. So you can go through his timeline and be like, he's talked about 12 things today, and you're down here, you've been pushed down, but I'm sure it was the, well, I don't even think it was that bad for you in the moment, I'm sure it was worse for Jerry. - Yeah, it wasn't that bad for me. I just felt bad, because I put Jerry and Luke in a tough spot, and then obviously it really-- - Well, and you also kind of did the math, and you're like, Jerry's making-- - Yeah, then that obviously comes to life. - And it's a lot. - Talk for everyone. - Luke said this thing. - Listen, Jerry, I mean, Jerry's Albert Hainesworth. - Yeah. - He got all his sacks, he signed his big deal, and then he got on his boat and started racing around him. I say that, and by the way, I've said this Jerry's face a hundred times. It's not like I'm talking behind his back. - But Albert Hainesworth signed for seven years, $100 million, what no one was making on the ground. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - It's tough. Luke said he was trying to figure out where he was on the seven feet seven feet years. (both laughing) - To the algebra. (both laughing) - Yeah. - Yeah. - But, I mean, learning experience, you know, I'm sure you have to deal with people's, you know. - I told the sass before, when Bush was starting, 'cause it was kind of bubbling up again, like this similar situation, then I got on a call with him, and I explained it to him. And then after I called him separately, and I was like, dude, the biggest advice I can give you is like, when we started with PMT, I remember, like there was always a little tension between Dave and Erica and PMT, because PMT was growing at such a crazy pace. And I was like, every time I let it fester up, I would make like this boogie man thought in my head of like Dave and Erica trying to keep us down. And then I'd go talk to Dave, and he would just like, talk to me, like, oh, that makes sense. - Yeah. - It's like, is the longer that you let it fester, and the bigger it gets in your head, you start like creating invisible enemies - Definitely. - And then he tells you exactly what is your like, oh yeah, okay. - It kind of reminds me of like the James Corden, or like who is the late night show that just ended? And Stephen Colbert, and there was a 100, or like 300 people on the stage, and everybody's like, that's fucking like a bar stool, we only have like four people that work on every show. But it's like when you actually look at it, like the marketing people and the PR people, and the HR people, and the merch people, and the security people all have to be paid out of it. So it's like the team is bigger than anybody ever realizes, but those sweets were better than real time. - Our HR person, I don't know, you guys probably tell me. - Kim, of course. - She's the best horse, yeah. - She lets everything fly. - She's got, if you want to talk about like, Dave's got a book coming out, part of my takes got a book coming out, that's the book that I would read. If Kim, I mean, she has the hardest job in the world. 'Cause everyone jokes like, you guys even have HR, are like, yeah, she's awesome. - People think 'cause of the stuff that's come out that like, oh, bar stool, just like anything flies. What if you knew the stuff that didn't? (laughing) - Like real world. - What if you knew the list of naughty, naughty things that have happened, and that's gotta be a really hard job. - Oh, you think? - I mean, imagine her for sure. - Like pulling out her phone when we're doing like Vegas spring break. - Oh, yeah. - She's like, well, yeah, this is broken every rule that we have in place. - It's so funny, on the pod, like a few weeks ago, the interns had just arrived in New York, and I said, boy, they're a good looking bunch. (laughing) And I, that haunted me. (laughing) And I meant, and I was like quick to be like, boys and girls, just as a collective group. They're handsome kids. - What is that, is that true? 'Cause we got all ugly's. - Really? - No, just like. (laughing) - No, not really. - I don't know, but I have some here too. - I don't really, well, we don't really have any like, content interns, right? It's all like upstairs people. It's all like, product, or like. - Oh, do we not have any content in it? - I don't think so now. - 14 total. Only seven did the intern interview. Seven, seven, two, three. - Oh, we had opt-outs? - Yeah, we had seven opt-outs. - Yeah, I had an opt-out downstairs option, I think. - Damn. - Which wasn't an option to opt out, but yeah, to your point. Like, you thought what you did was bad. - Well, it just, it rang in my head, like, uh, saying interns are attractive. - Really, it's pretty down the line. (laughing) - That's like a 1990s transgression. - Oh my, Bill Clinton. - Yeah, yeah. - The fuck, come on man, wrap it up. - That is an old transgression. But, I mean, Kim, God bless her. We should have Kim on. - Yo, she would be awesome. - Yeah, I don't know what she would be. I don't think she's allowed to talk about anything. - Anything. - Yeah. - Yeah, she is very sweet though. - Do you think she goes home and talks? - Yeah, you gotta unload that. - I think that's like half that's spousal privilege. - Yeah, like if you're in the mafia, your wife can't like-- - Yeah, you know, be on the stand against you. So I don't think it's true. - Yeah, but it's out there. - Kim just tells her Guma, everything. (laughing) Kim just tells her side man, everything. - Yeah, if Kim has a therapist, that's what we gotta talk to. - Oh, yeah. - Right, right, yeah. - Imagine being an HR person and like, I mean, what is our HR department though? Is it just her? - Yeah, I think there's some, she has some people-- - She's got some through you, yeah. - And then she talks to legal and she talks to gay, and she's like, they're trying, they gotta like get coffee together every day and just-- - A bottle of wine, a bottle of coffee. - It's literally world's hardest job. HR and parcel sports. - Yeah, it's good. - It's like Mike Roe should show up. (laughing) - So show me your day. - They're rolling up his sleeves to take calls about this and that. How's your guys' book coming? - We're done, I was talking to friends the other day. Like, 'cause I know he, the whole Dave Ghostwriting thing kind of sucked for him, but we went through the exact same experience where we hired a Ghostwriter, and the Ghostwriter did a really good job of getting a bunch of interviews with like, some of our long time guests and people and like talking about their experience, but he wrote the whole book, and then I read maybe 10 pages, I was like, well, we have to rewrite all of it. So, P.F.D. I had to rewrite all of it. - Well, it's his, what was your like, telltale sentence that was like, this is not it? - It wasn't like, it wasn't that he did, he did a fine job. It's just that we quickly realized like, when you have someone like Dave, someone like P.F.D., someone like myself who has a distinct writing voice and podcasting voice for a decade plus, the minute someone reads it, they're like, oh, he didn't write it. Like, you could do that if Kareem of Dool Jibar has a book. We don't know, Kareem of Dool Jibar has never written a guess that ask. You know what I mean? So, we don't know what that sounds like. - Yeah, he didn't do a MMBM. Is P.F.D.'s part written in like P.F.D.'s, like intentional misspelling style, he cleaned it. - He cleaned up, but we did tell, which I think made them very uncomfortable. We told our editor that like Zach, so Zach wrote a couple chapters, Hank wrote a couple chapters, Max memes, all the guys, and we're like, do not touch it. Do not edit it. Do not do anything. Zach's like, he had a paragraph that like, you couldn't even understand what he was trying to say, but that's how it should be. It should just be that. - Is there annotations or anything? - No, I was like, just leave it exactly how it is. - I can't wait to read that. - Yeah, the editors, like, they have to be just pulling their hair out like, this is not how the point is. It's like HR at barstool. I was doing the audio book reading, and I was like catching things. - Oh, yeah? - There should be a word here. - And that took longer than you expected? - No, they actually yelled at me 'cause I was talking too fast. - I was like, I'm talking normally, and they're like, yeah, you're supposed to talk slower. It's like, well, kind of where to be done with this. - Yeah. - He was gonna put it in 1.5 anyway. - Yeah, right. - Yeah. - I don't want to hear it. - Sometimes they're like, you're like, this is so slow, like, who's listening? - Yeah. Dude, it's 30 second pauses between sentences. - I listen to this podcast on 1.8. I'd listen to anything on YouTube. I'd go like 1.5 minimum, 'cause I just can't. - Yeah, now. - It's completely rewired my brain. - I haven't gotten into that, but I feel like that is a very common thing where people, once they go to it, they never stop. - Yeah. - I drove from, I drove from Houston to Atlanta with, or like Jackson, Mississippi to Atlanta with all business Pete. And he was listening to podcasts on like 3.5. I've never done anything. I felt like I was in a time machine, or like in Star Wars, when all the stars go like, zipping past you, it was fucking insane. - Just rapidly processing information. - My mistake is I always change videos on Twitter to like 1.5, and then I'll like click on a random highlight, but shit, man. - Damn it, it's way faster than I thought. Like this fucking insane. - He's fucking flying, man. - Five second 40, just six spin moves. - Five second 40, but it's slow. - Yeah, that's pretty slow. - Yeah, I've got time to mix stuff. - Yeah, what are you gonna talk about with Grootan if that's your ball knowledge? - Yeah, I can't be slipping up like that. - No, you can't. - Grootan's like an Adderall or something. - I walk away from him. - That's what I was like. - Yeah, I got bored in here. - I don't know what Grootan and Sass is coming. Grootan's gonna be tomorrow. - I met him, and-- - Wait, what are you guys doing tomorrow? - We're just gonna do what we're gonna have him on the pod. - Oh, fuck yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I met him at New Orleans for the Super Bowl, but I don't think I spoke to him at all. - He just looked at him. - So what do you mean you met? What would you like film to sketch with him, but I don't know if he knew I was there. - Oh yeah, the pink pony. - Yeah, I was a great scout. - I don't think I was there in his head. (laughing) - He could smell out of beta male. - Yeah, yeah, he smelled me out from a mile away. - Well, last year because I was on the bubble and then added delayed to the internet imitation. Somehow, miraculously, I ended up for my lodging in a shared house with, as my roommates, Austin, Dave, and John Grootan-- - That's right, yeah, yeah. - And there was this company, and you'll know the name that had sent you and John Grootan and Dave, these boxes of autographed sports memorabilia. And they hadn't opened them yet. Do you know the name of that company? - I don't, but I remember the box I got. - And I don't know if you guys know this, but you don't know this. But as a kid, I lost sleep at night, thinking of ways to get autographs from athletes. - Yeah, yeah. - I would, of course, we would get there to the Celtics Games two hours early. I would knew the spot to stand. I would look sickly to try to like, "Oh, please, LeBron, I didn't get passed "from make a wish 'cause this is not terminal." But, you know, like, whatever. And Carlos Booser gave me his shoes off his own feet after a game once. - Thanks, sick. - Yeah, I had some cool stuff. And I remember I got Alan Iverson and Eric Snow in the Eastern Conference Semifinals when the Celtics played the Sixers one year. Maybe it was the first round, either way. So, my point is they're opening boxes in front of me. - Oh, yeah. - And it's like Tom Brady personalized, like, note on the letter. - Oh, I got a Walter Payton signed football. - Yeah, I mean, he's passed away 25 years ago. - Yeah, amazing. - And he's a gronk, like, helped official Patriots helmet sign. - Oh, yeah. - And I'm just like drooling and I think they might have left the stuff. - I took mine, you took, I took mine. 'Cause I remember I got, it was like a mix of, like, bears and badgers and I got a TJ watch signed helmet stealers. - Yeah. - I held that over Jerry's head for a long time. - Oh, yeah. - Then I finally gave it to him. - No, they took it. But each day as the tournament wore on, it was sitting out on the kitchen counter and I was like, I wonder if they've taken inventory of all the things. - Yeah, you could have, you could have taken some of that. - Yeah, you could have taken some of that. - It's like Bruno, like, knows the guys personally. Like, he probably was like signed letters. He just would have been a tough look if they noticed. Where did the signed, wrong helmet go? - Yeah. - You're literally bulging out of your backpack. - Ooh. (laughing) - I see the mask through your backpack. - I've seen, I'm getting in the collectibles game. - Yeah. - Did you guys go pissing the bills trough? - No. - You had a fully functional-- - I heard about this. - I heard about this. - I didn't know. - Yeah. - Where is it? - It's in the back bathroom. - Oh, I gotta check that out. - Yeah, you gotta go pissing that. - It is a little bit of a bad angle 'cause if you're pissing in it and anyone walks in the bathroom, it's just direct caution. - It's no, it's like a 360 degree view. (laughing) - It's like pepper dine. - It's like pepper dine as 360 degrees of ocean. Like, you can see the penis from anywhere in the bathroom. - It's essentially the Brian Kelly video when he's on the rotating thing. - Yeah. - That's just how you're pissing. - There's just like two girls at a wedding. You know, that camera that goes all the way around. - Yeah, same exact one. - Yeah, it's good memory of Billy. - It's good, I mean, it's the shit that no one wants. - Yeah. - That's a good find. - Yeah. - How did you find that? - That one was an auction. - The other ones, like the Florida state banner, I just asked them and they were like, "Yeah, I guess we'll do it." (laughing) - What a thought. - They put up a banner saying they were number four when COVID happened. - That's it, yeah. - Yeah, it's sitting right in the middle. - I gotta be more aware of this stuff. - Yeah. - You went right up to the, you went right for the video games as soon as you got here. - I had to take a walk, you know. - See what it was like. - Are you guys, can I ask a question about pushing you guys ever gonna just play? Like, you should just play. And you keep losing players, just play. - Well, so we did play at the last tournament. - Yeah, you should be like, like Bill Russell. Didn't he play in coach? - Yeah, exactly. - It's really hard. - And I thought it was gonna be easier. Like I thought the skill gap wasn't gonna be like, you know, it's like, I don't know. - It was like if Tom Thibido, like, laced up for a game. - Yeah. - He was like, if John Grootin, like, tried to like, play offensive line against Miles Garrett or something like that. - Exactly. - And we know the skill gap is crazy because Harry and I played video games and he and I were the same. - Oh. - And forgot he beat you, right? - Yeah. - And I hadn't played video games in 15 years. - So what's the, how do you get better as it get younger or more Asian? - I think it's like a combination of both. - I think it's gonna be young and Asian. - Asian and Adder alled up. - Yeah, isn't it like the prime is like, like a 22 year old and called dude. He's like, that guy's washed. - It's like, it's 22 is like, if he hasn't, like if he's not fron. now he's got to get like it's it's coming to a close. It's crazy. Like the like the oldest player in the league right now, I think just turned 26. Oh, so he's washed. So he's like Tom, but he's like Aaron Rogers. Oh, he's still sick. But they're like gymnasts. Yeah, exactly. Figure skaters. But the skill gap is big. I mean, I played, I played in, uh, where were we were last Dallas or no Atlanta? When we were in Atlanta, I played like as a joke with like, Nikki Numbers, like in the tournament. And we came in last place in the whole tournament. But like we came in last place. The dudes that we were playing knew like we suck. Obviously, they weren't trying it all. I like couldn't even see them on the screen. It was like they would go buy the screen and then you're just you dead immediately. That's, you need to get neural link is really what there's a guy. There's a guy we talked about the Saudi league. There's a guy in the Saudi league that has neural link. Really? Is he sick? Yeah. He's one of the top players. You need to get neural link and you need to start biohacking like that dude Brian Johnson, because he's aging in reverse. Yeah. Yeah. And his wife has a perfect pussy on her. Perfect sex every night. Yeah. I did not know he was straight. Oh, and I'm not even saying that. What was supposed to get you off of the fact that he was tracking his son's boners. I mean, he posts like statistics from his sex every morning. But the minute he went to that enhanced games and he had that son umbrella. I was like, I ain't I'm out. Yeah, he was on set and he had a son umbrella and he's like son like I never him in the sun. What's the point of living if you can't get a tag like his life is ruined. Yeah. The only thing he because he doesn't drink. He doesn't like touch the sun. He doesn't eat anything interesting. He is like basically lives in an incubator for all of his days. Yeah. He is longer his turf meltdown. Hey, son of a boy ad listeners will be right back. But first, a quick message from one of our partners. Hey, Alabama. Still blue coffees. He he found out that well, he works out in his front lawn that's made fully of turf. Okay. And he found out recently that the part of something in turf has like carcinogens in it. Yeah, that's like a plastic bubble. He broke down on Twitter. He was in a boat. He was like, I can't believe I didn't know this. Like I've been trying so hard to be healthy and I've been surrounding myself by carcinogens for years now. It's full breakdown. Is it bad to say like, I hope he gets hit by a bus? That's not good. But I get where you're coming. I didn't say it. I said, is it bad? You're testing the water and say the dip in the water. It's not bad if it's a biodiesel bus. Yeah, if it's yeah, if it's fracking produce or no, fracking will be bad, but just some natural gas powering the bus or something will be good. And I'm not saying like, like killed right away. I want him to have like a moment where he's like, damn, I really should have gotten a tan. But I think that the point is that it's the shot and Freud of like being like, yes, this guy has been wasting his life by trying to correct live his life. Correct. He's intentionally not living his life. And there should be some kind of come up. And he probably will get out live by like a smoking construction worker. Oh, yes. And you just get like a four, 10 Italian lady who drinks wine and olive oil every single day. Like what's the key to life? I got a garden with tomatoes. That's it. Dude, I've been doing I know smokes like six packs. Yeah. Yeah. I've been working out. And well, no, I mean, I was gonna say I've been drinking hard and smoking weed and doing all these things in the event that like there is a very healthy person inside of me trying to keep me alive to 110. I'm trying to ward off. Oh, you're trying to reverse it. You know, I don't want to live. No reverse reverse agent. Yeah. I need to be I'm worried that I am I am what Brian Johnson wants himself to be fighting for. And then I'm trying to like counteract the boredom of that. One 10 is like, you would see literally everyone you know, die. Yeah. Yeah. Every single person you know, you'd see kids that you'd see babies that are being born right now. Die. Yeah. It's crazy. Dude, if someone today if it was on our pod, who was 110 years old, they'd be talking about like, yeah, when my dad shipped off for World War One, you know, we had no idea how long the conflict would be. And I was doing so well. All my stock was in standard oil. Black Friday. I'll never forget the bodies falling off at Wall Street. Like, dude, are you just reciting Wikipedia? Got caught in like my grandson just passed 70. I mean, but if the average age were to go up to like, what, like 130, like, don't you think that would be like a big problem? Yeah. A pretty thing would be a problem. Yeah. Overpopulation. Yeah. Yeah. Also think social security is going to be out in like 10 years. Right. Like there's like no money left over for us to get old. Yeah. We're just the boomers holding on for even more. Yeah. See, owning more things. Yeah. It's pretty great. I mean, if we were, if we say humans were to start living on average to 130, do you think they would like change the way that things work? Like do you think you would still go to school so young? Retirement age would be like 100. Yeah. Yeah. That's probably the only thing that would change. Yeah. You just have to work. You just have to work way more. Yeah. That would suck if you retired at like 65 and you live to 110. Yeah. This is what life I didn't work. This is what I think is plaguing. This is one of the big existential threats for a lot of countries where the birth rate is declining. South Korea. Yeah. South Korea is that it's resulting in a top heavy elder class that is not supported by a youthful working class. And you're just going to have like all these old horses out to pasture roaming around. I'm like, why isn't anyone helping me? Yeah. Across the street. Yeah. Yeah. You got to help each other. You got to get on a buddy system. Yeah. Fucking get like a chain. You ever see the chains of like little kids holding on to them? Yeah. Everybody's always crop dust those kids. Dude, I know that they're going to blame each other. When you see a parent with a leash on their kid, you're like, that's crazy. And then when you have kids, you're like, that makes sense. You know, Nick was a leash kid. He was? Oh, yeah. My kids like as there's sometimes my kids will just like try to run into traffic. And I'm just sprinting after them. Like, damn, I wish I had a leash right. Yeah. I mean, I think get one, you know, every parent should have one of those like shot colors. That too. But I was going to say one of those bleaches that like retract. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For the little dogs. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I get the button. My kids might wind up on a leash. You never know. You really don't. So I was I was saying before. So you're you're you're a diss track to the three year old was so good. Yeah. Three year old push my one year old. And I got furious and wrote a diss track because my nanny almost fought that there. And so in Ron and I had so Ron's nanny was my kids nanny when we lived in Brooklyn. The best, the absolute best. But she used to get into like beefs at the park because like she is so like territorial for the kids. It's awesome. Yeah. That's what you want. Yeah. You want them to be take you. You want a nanny to be super territorial. I'd be like, well, like why don't you go to that park so we won't go to that park anymore. It's the dirty park. Like we got we like I saw nanny is we got a little beef like we don't do that. Yeah. She runs it too. She runs Brooklyn. Yeah, dude. She she keeps it to like she have like a ton of clients. No, no, she's one time. Yeah. But she is a but her her network of other nannies. So she could link up a play date like anywhere. She's people in every building. She has people all over the place. We'll meet up at this plaza. And she's been in Dumbo now because my kid my first form was 2019. So she's been in working in Dumbo. She worked with my family all the way up till we moved back Chicago and then rode not far after that. And there was someone else in media. I think it's between one at a time. Yeah. So like you passed her down to Rome. Yeah. She was she was my family's nanny. Yeah. Yeah. How long will you have her for? Probably till they're like for 25. Yeah. It's good saying. Is this a threat? Maybe I'll have kids by then. So I'll take no probably not knowing the way things are going in my life. If we didn't move, we'd still have her. Yeah. She's the best. But she's I saw that diss track. I was just like, this is what you know her. Yeah. You know what she's like. You'll mess around. Like play. People think that I was joking about it. And she doesn't. She said that the other nanny called her like later on to like apologize to like bend the knee. Yeah. It's almost like the scene early on in the department where it's like, you know who you were messing with. Yeah. She also was like, that's an nanny. You can't quite hit. Yeah. I never told her like explicitly like, hey, you know. Just because like I keep my kids private I never told her like explicitly like hey, I'm public You know she knew what I did for a living But so she when she kind of figured it out I caught on someone to ask like what they were in my house And I was in the other room and someone was like oh, what is what is Dan do for a living and she's just like I don't know Family, but like that's right or die. I was so happy. I never asked that but it's fucking awesome to have someone who's like got your back And she carried the same thing on for me. I'm like, I'm not big cast level We don't talk about Sports entertainment ask one more question. You're gonna be in trouble Yeah, she really does. Yeah, she's like cracking our knuckles. What do you say when people ask you what you do for work? Like in like a cab or some I say podcast. We know yeah, I say so I say I'm in sports media that that works Yeah, I work for a sports media company podcast is funny because you could know I like saying podcasts because it's like a funny reaction where I Think people like when I say podcast and they don't have any idea what the biggest loser Like I'm the biggest loser possible Oh, and I love that yeah, I just already hear that shit like the radio. Yes, you're going that bad Just in your basement with a ham radio trying to broadcast out Especially now that like everyone's got a podcast. Yeah, like they probably just assume it's like the bottom of the barrel. Yeah, so funny You take comedian. Well, it really depends on who's asking if it's someone that I don't want to have any follow-up questions I just say writer and then if it's someone I'm trying to sleep with once I say Comedian, but it's not going that well and then if it's someone I'm like keen on boy or girl Friendship and sleeping with yeah, well, you know Then it would be like work for an internet media company called Barcel Sports. That works. Have you now have you ever Met someone who didn't really know what Barcel a famous person who didn't know what Barcel Sports was and uttered the phrase We'd love to have you on our podcast because that is the biggest loser phrase you could ever say in your entire life I've never felt worse. I've saying that to someone Me and sassed that to Casey Fry one time at the Stand we both saw Casey Fry and we both like spaz because we're both fans. Yeah, do come on our podcast dude never heard I said it to back I said it to back then it once on a train really and I felt like such a fucking loser But you should have shown in the Numbies that's actually yeah, but still someone who's in like tradition on me Yeah, no idea what this is Yeah, oh, that was but now he does a podcast. Yeah Have you have you ever like circle back on that? No, I actually we have a mutual friend So like I did the mutual friend thing on the train and then I was like we'd love to have you the podcast and I walked off as like And it was a train to Brooklyn. Like I was just a walking trope of just douche bag I just occurred to me because I just started what did you guys watch jury duty? No, yes Could I heard yeah, so the new seasons out yeah, and it's a company retreat and initially I was sort of watching I was like, oh this isn't anywhere near as good and then by the second episode I was laughing so hard I couldn't even breathe. Yeah, I don't know yet, but there were moments that really killed me You laughed that hard. It's got to be pretty good. I know I just don't know if the characters are as compelling yet I haven't seen the what is the premise of the show. It's the Truman show basically Where they hire all these actors and it's all on a set and it's framed as a documentary about American judicial system and then there's one guy who is not an actor and has no idea that everyone else is fake and he's real It's like the Joe millionaire. Remember that when they did the fake game show everybody's an actor, but one person. Yeah, yeah, it sounds like that Nathan Fielder show Nathan for you the other one the new one Oh, there was a rehearsal rehearsal. Yeah, yeah, but that's not really An inverted rehearsal. I don't think it's that when dad's completely stopped the conversation really confused It was confusing and it didn't fit. Oh listen, I listen here. I know It's like we had finished a puzzle and there was one piece left and when you had it Like I got it and it was just like it didn't it was just like from a different So it's like it's like it's like the wire like the wire It's easier when you listen on 1.8 because we get past the moment All right, but I got checked that out. I love the premise of it. Yeah, I would love to do that with someone here I know I was thinking about is there a world where we could recreate some version? There's one guy. Yeah, there's one guy easily. Yeah, definitely. Oh, yeah, we could tell him to his face Oh, man. Oh, no, I got to watch for a penicone. Honestly, if you got panic, you should get panic in it That would be sick watch for panic. Oh, yeah The dark hair guy with curly hair. Yeah, and I was like didn't get famous And I was like man what an indictment on his career. Yeah, that he's not Ignisable enough that they felt comfortable putting him in a show where the entire thing is that you're an actor But nobody knows who you are. But I think that the the screening process has to be so extensive for that one person With that one person has the best life ever because they basically just have no idea what is going on in the world Yeah, I mean, yeah, I mean showing up to work every day just check the fuck But they don't have Twitter. They don't have Instagram. They're not watching any of the streaming platforms They're like, you know, they're putting on maybe the news Watching the ballgame keeping on for the weather. It's local. Yeah, like that guy rocks. Yeah Those people give me faith in humanity. Yeah, or angelicy too. Yes. Oh imagine not caring about it Like having no offense, but no ambition to to that level. Yeah, but think about this though Like don't you think it's still a risk that That guy there's no way they asked him in his screening process like have you ever seen the sketch comedy show from like 15 years ago Good neighbor stuff. Yeah, right. So There's a chance That that one moment. Yeah, could undo maybe that was that and that's when the normal guy He gets when he gave up the internet was when good neighbor stuff retired I wonder how extensive the I imagine they're screening like they're talking to the person's like friends and family too. Yeah, I wonder I would see I see IA level. Yeah, yeah, cuz like the the possibility of it going wrong would set them back like So much to start over halfway through the show and the guys like I actually know all of you guys have seen all of your work Yeah, whoa, but there are a lot of people out there who just lived their life. Yeah, it's I love them. Yeah, I want it so bad Yeah, some some days I wish there was like just like I could take a month of just doing nothing to completely reset But it's impossible. Yeah, even if I have like three days off. I'm like, okay, I need to fucking start a new show Yeah, yeah, but I the best is like all every now and then come across someone and they'll be like Oh, your big cat and they won't say like part my take porceless force. I do a radio hit on Chicago radio and they're like, oh, I love you on the radio. That's the only thing they hear me from yeah That's that person rocks. Yeah, they literally just getting their car. They turn on the radio It's like 1975 and yeah They go to work they get out of the leather for today. They put the radio back on if they miss my 30 minute hit won't weekly They just missed it. They don't have any way of getting Fuck I missed it even though there's always next week. Yeah, I'll come back next week nine hours a week of big cat on Part of my take when you talk about like describing what bar stool is I remember the the bachelor party the the famous bachelor party I went on with john mayor gents is bachelor party and Benjamin was like you so like yeah like explaining to him where like bar stool is and John mayor is like I think I know what it is. It's like run by some guy named Trent or something His Trent's like a big john mayor like tweet at him all the time Trent runs the whole place. Yeah, and I think that was his perception since then you guys have all you both have become great friends with him with Trent Yeah we had a very funny a DM exchange Where he messaged me okay just out of the blue. That's where he did with me. Yeah. Yeah, well that makes sense Well, I mean yeah, I guess but I was still waiting - Hey, can I come on your podcast? - No, no, he was, I was at the sphere for a show. - Oh yeah. - And I was like, I like tweeted a pick or did an Instagram story of the show and he was like, hey, if you're here, come, come by Saturday night and like come, hang out in the green room. - That's cool. - Didn't know it was just me and him. Eight, eight my mushrooms. I thought I'd time my mushrooms correctly, but the last five minutes of me and John Mayer, I don't know where he's going. - It's crazy. - 'Cause I like, I was like, all right, he told me to come by. I think he was like your tie dye and she's dude, it was like, it shows it like 7.30. He was like, yeah, like seven glasses. - He's got a black shirt. - He's like, come by, it's six. And I was like, all right, great. So I ate all my mushrooms at like, I don't know, like five, third, yeah, five, 30. And then he was delayed a little bit so that I didn't go into his green room to like, six, 15. And by like the end of the 20 minutes, I was like, I can get the fuck outta here. I'm enjoying this, but I gotta get the fuck outta here. That's too much. - Getting back there and being just you guys insane. - He's a man. - Yeah. - Just like a big room. It's probably like the hockey team's locker room. It's like a huge room. - Dude, he's the fucking nicest guy ever. And obviously one of the best guitars in the world. - What did he reach out to you about you like stealing food from the Delta Lounge or something like that or was that a different conversation? - That was exactly it. It was that I posted just an Instagram story. I should have posted it as a full post. - You run it back. - I had a head about that. - I was going in the Delta Lounge and I was showing how you can take food out 'cause they don't let you take food out by putting it in the to go coffee cups 'cause you're allowed to go coffee out. And I was just filling up chicken salad and then you put a top on it. And I had like three coffees for the flight and I walked out with a full meal. And then on the plane, I'm eating from one call, like chicken salad and like orzo and then whatever. - Honestly, if you do that video again, it will go crazy. - Yeah. - Yeah. - And the new style, you know. - They're dude, perfect we'll do it. - Yeah. - Yeah, true. - But John Mayer reached out and he wrote something like this is genius and I wrote back like you know, we got a fight back somehow and he was like, I'm gonna play along because I fly private. But yeah, the big airlines there really. And then I was like, must be nice for something. And I was really trying, I was really editing what I was trying really hard. - You might even be worth first. - I got in my own head when I started DMing with a big time. - I was John Mayer. - You have to plan it out beforehand. - It's crazy Francis that like knowing you as well as I know you and like how you second guess these things, like how the fuck did you win the internet invitation? Like that is the mental fortitude to win a golf tournament like that. - So when you can guess a golf shot. - Yeah, you have one crack at it. There's no note tapping a golf shot. Like you're a really good golfer. How? (laughing) - That does make it way funny. - I'll get to that. I wanna read you this quick. He wrote, "The food in the Starbucks cup's idea is incredible. A brilliant engineering move." And I wrote, "John, next time we're at the buffet "in the Delta Sky Club, I'll cover for you." He wrote, "Can't wait. "I do worry you may have blown the lid. "Prentice is pun off this." And then I wrote, and I don't think he was expecting it to get this far. I wrote, "Delta jacked their status thresholds "to nearly unreachable markers. "The genies bent out of the bottle. "I can't be the only moron trying to earn back "my annual credit card fee with rice pilaf." And he goes, "I'm gonna try and carry on "with this conversation as best I can, "seeing as I fly private." (laughing) I don't know how much a gallon of milk costs. I'm a real piece of shit. And how about those lines of the gate? (laughing) And I said, "About time you come clean, "you talented, entirely deserving mother fucker. "Enjoy those sashimi platters "and cold-pressed juices, talk soon, man." Like I wanted out of the conversation. That's good, that's good. And then he wrote, "Fast friends, and he followed me." - Love that. - And then he messaged me again. He showed me, he sent me someone else's post of a guitar case that had like their, like their lug, like their clothes or something. Yeah, like someone had packed a guitar case to pack and then put luggage in it. So he was like really trying to be friends. - Yeah, you got it. - And then what happened? - Become friends of them. - Uh, and then I once wrote, "Rone said you're coming in Wednesday, "this may be unfounded." And then I wrote, "Nevermind, he was just kidding." - Oh, yeah, that's the dagger. That's the end right there. - Oh no. - No, he actually wrote back to me 'cause I messaged him about watches. - That's brutal. - I said, "I think I need a paddock unless you tell me I don't." - That's crazy. - And he goes, "Even if I told you, that's a crazy DM." - And he goes, "Even if, well, he's a watch guy." - Like a big watch guy, yeah. - Well, now you're gonna walk it back. - No, no, I'm not gonna walk it back at all. - Well, you will when you read what he wrote back to me. He goes, "Even if I told you you didn't, "it wouldn't take away the compulsion, "the sickness is in you now." And I didn't respond. - So, and did you get to protect Philippe? - No, I don't have the money for that. (laughing) - He doesn't know that though. - Gotta win another internet invitation. - Yeah. - Yeah, mom. - So the question is, how did I win that? Good question, Big Cat. No, it's just crazy. You're the mental fortitude it takes. When you do second guess, everything else in your life. - I know. (laughing) - I do, but I would say that like I was the, the, you know, of the people in there that, like Frankie, me and B for the most affected. Because the other three are like, - Yeah, really good golfers. - Competitive golfers. - Yeah. - And I got lucky to have made the least damning mistakes at the most critical junctures. It's not because I outplayed anyone. - Yeah, but that's not making a mistake, is it? - Right, like Frankie lost because he made a mistake. - Yeah, fine, but like if you look at some of the shots that I hit when it was really at the end, I just, I got lucky that they didn't end up in worse spots. - That's part of the game. - Fine, but like it's not as if I was playing for the misses that I hit. - Just take the comp. - I will, and I appreciate it. (laughing) I will and I appreciate it. I also was drinking a little bit. - That's smart. - Not too much, but too much. - Yeah, but just that level of like, calm your nerves. - To bait a block a little bit. - Yep. - And I remember I yelled to Witt on like 13 'cause we were passing the place where you, like the bar kind of halfway house. And I was like, Witt, I need a, can you get me a double John Daley, which is Arnold Palmer with vodka in it. He's like, yeah, I got you, bud. But he had bet on the other team again, Steve. And I think he made it a quad. - Oh. - And it was the-- - You should've done the reverse. - You should've made nothing in it. - Yeah, I know, I would've been smart. - But I was like-- - Put like a Adderall in it. - You just had to be here in the center. (laughing) - He's trying to get me too drunk to feel the pot and stuff. - The Juan, I don't even know they made that. - Yeah, I've never heard them before. - It was crazy. - It's just vodka with a splash of lemonade and iced tea at the top. - That's like you ever see people make the mimosas where they have like the spray thing for the orange. - Yeah. (laughing) - Did you, did you do a video of your invitation? - No, I haven't gotten mine yet. - Oh. - He's got lost. - It's on his way. - It would be awesome if you were here. - Yeah. - I agree. - I don't know, I don't know. - He hasn't put his flag out there enough about golf. - Well, we not-- - Sass and I teamed up on the Ryder Cup, maybe the worst deal of all. - Yeah, that's the thing is like, I can swing the club well and I'm like, can make contact. But if you got me out there by myself, like you've only seen me play when we play together. And you're like, hit a six iron here. - Yeah. - Yeah, well you, that's-- - Me and him together. - Oh my God, it was so funny. - You can't keep the ball on the fair. - We were literally like pumping each other up if we just got the ball going forward. - Yeah. - That became our goal. - Like it would be like 10 close to that. - That hit close 10 yards. You'd be like, dude. - Did something not close to that? - We're going forward before that. - Close to the hole. - This is awesome. - Were some going backwards? - Yeah, there were a couple. I mean, that tee shot. - Yeah, dude, that way shot. - I won't go back and watch the one where you hit the slow swing because it was so bad. - That's the hardest I've ever seen Dave laugh. - Yeah, I'm gonna try to get better because I-- - But what's your golf rules? - Nine holes. - Okay. - So I'm only playing nine holes this, like, 'cause that's the problem with golf. It's like five hours, it's so much time. - Especially if you don't play well on the first half, you know the second half is going to go worse. - Right, right. Nine holes has to be walking and has to be within-- - Why has to be walking? - Has to be walking. - I, 15 minutes of your house. - Yeah. (laughing) - What? - It's close. - Yeah, no, there's just one public course I put. - Oh. (laughing) - It's actually a beautiful public course in Chicago. It's right on the water, yeah. - But, yeah, it's just like-- - So who's laughing now, it's S? - Yeah. - We don't got one. - Guy wants to get home to his family, he's just like, you know. - No, I thought I dropped my kids off at school and now they're out of school, but I dropped my kids off at school, T off at eight in the office by 10, 15. - Oh, that's nice. - Perfect amount of golf. - Yeah, that's great. - And nine holes, you've finished nine holes. You're like, I wish I was playing more golf. Believe it or not, I'm like, this is the worst experience in my life. - Yeah, done so. - And walking because I, like, I don't know, get some steps in. - Yeah. - It is good to walk, I got that, I just didn't, yeah. - So just for reference, I played 45 holes on Saturday and 36 on Sunday. - Jesus Christ. - What? - Why? - That's so long. - Because I love it. I'm 80. one hole. I'm absolutely obsessed. I love golf. My favorite thing in the world. So he played nine times as much as you would in an ideal day over two days. Yeah, listen. Last summer my buddy and I tried to play a hundred holes in a day and the only reason we couldn't we played 90 holes in one day was because of like too many quads. Yeah. That's so much golf. Yeah. Stopped for lightning a number of times. Yeah, I can't. It's just the time suck of like being like, all right, I'm leaving the house. So I'll be seeing six hours. Yeah, you do it. Come you would do if you want more golf. All you need to do is get divorced. Yeah, give my kids away and present horribly and be a child, you know, who gets the kids? Yeah, you'll be in tip-top shape by the invitational. I did get my kids into golf lessons because I was like, that's the one thing like I wish. Sas, when he swings, even though it doesn't play like you're like that, he knew, he learned how to golf when he was a kid. Yeah, I did. You can tell someone who knew who learned it at a young age and they have the ability to like, it's like riding a bike and not that they'll be like as good as they were, but they just know the things to do. I don't know any. Like it's a natural motion. Yeah. Hey, son of a boy ad listeners will be right back, but first a quick message from one of our partners football seasons here and whether you're grinding your way through the week or gearing up for kickoff, there's one ride that's always game ready. Check out offers on the 2026 Silverado at Chevy dot com. All right. So I want my kids to have that. I don't know when I got like a good swing because when I was in high school, my coach told me he was like, you're swinging as terrible. Like he literally told me that coaches job to make it better. Oh, no, not in this golf coach. Like the golf coach in high school, their only job is to just drive you to the matches. We don't have a bus. They have a van to the coach has to drive the van. It's the only reason he's he's not giving you any advice. Ironically, my my freshman year high school across coach, his job when he wasn't coaching was bus driver. And so sometimes he would drive our bus when we didn't have a bus driver and he like knew where everything was. Oh, I'm sure. Like the switch is he was, you know, smooth. That's great. Yeah. Fucking dream. What I don't know when this is coming out, but what was New York City like for the next run? It felt like it must have been just everyone was on cloud nine. It was pretty sick. Yeah. Were you guys there? Were you guys in the city? No. I was there when they won it, but also like I was at home. I was like about to go outside and bang pots and pants. But even still like day to day, it must have been just awesome day to day. It was pretty sick. I was talking to Tommy and Glenny about it because they're both like fringish Nick fans. And I was like, what's your guys perspective about people from like Ohio or Minnesota that moved to New York and our huge Nick's fans. And Tommy was like, yeah, I think it's awesome. It makes the party more fun. And Glenny's like, I fucking hate it. He basically was like, I don't want anybody else having fun. Like everybody else who's like jumping on this bandwagon is like undeserved. It means more to me. And these guys are just riding my coats every championship team ever has a bandwagon. Yeah. It's so funny that we do this every time a team wins. It's like, yeah, when a team wins and there's parties every night, people are going to be like, hey, that party's fun. Yeah, I want to go to a part alternative. If you like to party, you're going to want to go to the party. Well, I didn't want to root for this team. So I'm not going to go outside. The actually trailblazers fan. Did you guys see? Did you guys see Elmo on a on a they put Elmo on a no, I don't think so. On a stick on a spirit. What is it? What is it called? What is it on a steak? Yeah, they put Elmo's head on a steak. That I love it. Why Elmo? Because Elmo said before the series like, hope both teams have fun. Everyone's like, fuck you. Elmo, you're a real New Yorker. What the fuck you turn your back on? They put it on a city. It just a traitor. And it was a Elmo's head on a stick. My favorite video from the last game was this spurs fan who fought everybody. Yeah, I don't think I saw that. What is it was like this jacked up debo dude, who was like, it looked like when there's like a shark and then a school of fish. And any direction he goes, the whole school like gives him like a birth of like 10 feet and like he's moving your crown. And like people are soccer punching him trying to like treason New York. It was in New York. It looked like people were saying it was at the game. It looked like Penn station. It looked like it was in the garden, but the sort of the concourse area. I saw that. I loved it. I have a question, though, which is, you know, the idea of rooting for the team if you've transplanted into that city. So I remember I have friends from college that moved to Seattle to work for Amazon. I think from like the Midwest or something like that. And after a few years naturally, they became Seahawks fans. Do you think there is more legitimacy based on the geographic sort of like marooning, right? Who else if you moved to Seattle, you're going to root for the Seahawks. Yeah. I mean, if you're there for the rest of your life too, you know what I mean? Or like you're there for a little bit like there's no to go to continue to root for the nicks. If you're like, oh my god, it's so far away. You're not going to go to any games. I don't know. I thought that that seemed natural. And somehow if you're from Ohio, you moved to New York City, you become a nicks fan. I think people are more mad about the celebrity nicks fans, because that's like that piss people off. You're really mad about that. Really by Taylor Swift. Yeah. Furious, had a hailey Bieber. It's like who else is going to buy the ticket? It's also a million dollars. Yeah, it's like the coolest experience you could like if you have billions of dollars, there's only so many cool experiences. You could do. Also, like that's who should be sitting courtside. No one wants to see some fucking Joe Shmoe is coming down sitting courtside at the NBA. There always is some Joe Shmoe who's like super rich and everyone's like that guy. Did you see that more money than everyone else? Yeah. The person sitting next to Timothy Shalamay and Kylie Jenner looks like a bluntman brother. He just. No way. I don't think I saw it. He's like a rich son of somebody and he just has like long hair wearing like a sweatsuit. It makes it. It's actually fucking hilarious. But yeah, I mean, it's just like that's the next. It's just looked awesome. Like I because obviously living in New York. It's awesome. It is awesome. Anybody should be invited to the party. It's a fucking party. The city buzzes. Yeah. I think not only should you be able to like inherit the fandom. Like you should be able to be a fan. I think you should also be able to like inherit all of the suffering they went through and refer to it as like we went through. Yeah. That's my big thing. 53 was 53 years. Yeah. I've been saying to everyone. Everyone in New York. I can't believe how long we waited for this. It's like being an old man, being like we needed the rain. Harry's lived in New York for four years. Yeah. I mean, I'm in a lot of Queens now. So it's a lot of. Were you moved? Oh, yeah. A lot of culture. Wait, I missed that. Yeah. He moved to Queens. What? He lives at LaGuardia at LaGuardia. We got an apartment at LaGuardia. Wait, why did you move that far? Um, I just move. I mean, I wanted to save money. I'm not. I don't really do a lot of shit anymore, you know. Do you have a bigger place? Yeah. And way cheaper. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you did live in the most expensive place in the whole sit in the whole world. Yeah. I couldn't keep it. It was like Tokyo, Japan. Yeah. Monaco. I mean, I was like, I looked on Zillow just like for kicks to see, like, yeah, maybe there's something around me. And it's like the apartments around my apartment were like 30 grand a month. Yeah. It's like, there's nothing here. Yeah, that's parents would be like, why don't you just buy your place? Like, well, do you guys have 15 million dollars? Wait, so what? So what, uh, so is it change anything? Like what's the commute? Let's take the train. It's pretty easy. It's like 25 minutes. Oh, yeah. It's quick. You're good. We don't see them. Yeah. They see me multiple times a week for hours at a time. It's more than I see most people. I would say it's a coin flip before going to see you. And that's also at work. Yeah. We're hanging out a lot before that. Yeah. We were trying to, you and I used to play pool like twice a week. You talk about this. This was five years ago. I missed those days. I was coming out with pool halls. Yeah. Cause you're not Adam. I don't see. I'm not getting any invites to any pool halls. Do you have any relationships in your life that is like, like everyone with you where we just want to be your friend and you just push us off? Like, is there a, do you have a friend who's like, you're trying to hang out with? And they're like, now, like a, do I have friends that are like that? Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. They push you off. Yeah, but not in like, uh, no, I guess in the same way that I know to them, where it's not like a disrespect thing. Yeah. I don't like you. I would just love it if like, Sass had like a friend and he's like, oh, wait. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just to hang out with. They just turn into it's like a, it becomes like a withdrawal off. Yeah. And then they know and talk to each other. But more importantly, he, he, his best friend starts reaching out to me. Yeah. And he doesn't like it. I was listening to that episode. Bo's texting you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Why Bo's the cap of the triangle. Yeah, he told Sass. He's not allowed. Sass docs him too hard about his Birmingham apartment. Yeah. He's a homie hopper though. He's just taking, taking friends. He knows, he knows all give him what he doesn't, which is friendship, support, love, Oh, test recommendations, outdoor activities, whatever. I'll tell you what my theory is. He, he never listened. to the podcast ever, right? He was never listening to it. He knew we would talk about him occasionally, but he wasn't really listening. He got his first like nine to five started listening. First episode he listened to was the one where we were talking about. I think it's called Birmingham, the episode. And then he texted me and was like, can't say all that stuff like I was too much, whatever. Now he's listening to every single episode. And now this right now, yes, I think now he likes hearing us talk about like it went from being like, don't talk about me to us not talking about him to him being like, what the fuck? Why are they talking about? Yeah, why are they talking about? And now he's text because he knows it's going to be on the pod put me on a group chat with him. I will. Definitely. He and I talk a lot. I have more text exchanges with him than I do with Harry. I haven't even told you guys about all right. Did I tell you about his friend in Birmingham that the son of a boy dad listener? Oh, sorry. I thought you just you said friends. So after that whole episode, he got a bunch of DMs from like people that listen to the podcast being like, I actually live here like, you know, let's go hang out. He's got this one kid that he hangs out with all the time. And they just listen, they just talk about the podcast and like go. Well, he lives in Birmingham. No, yeah, not amazing in England. No, Alabama, Alabama. Okay, because yeah, but I did just go to Birmingham. The other Birmingham popular. Yeah, that is amazing what how much the world can come together when you just keep your arms open. Yeah. So he's got a he's got a friend through this podcast. He's got a friend through the pod. Listen, people are just looking for community. Yeah. Yeah, that's really what they are. Sounds like a good guy. So they're are they doing like son of a boy dad meetups down there? Pretty much. Yeah. They just get together and listen and silence. They just sit and eat and eat with each other and listen to the podcast. What's that guys name? We got to start mentioning him. His name is Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe. Joe's the man. They need a mother guy. Shout out Joe. They go on like fishing trips together. Joe and both fishing charters. They were up in like North Tennessee yesterday. They drove up. Oh, they're traveling together. Yeah, oh, I do what they listen to on the way son of a boy dad. Of course. They listen to some classics. It's not about Joe. I don't think. You never know. You never know. Right? I mean, new friends. I got I'm going to have to meet this guy. You know, I'll make sure nothing funny. He's going on that. You got to bet him. Yeah. You guys aren't fucking are you? Do you know that uh, this maybe think of this Lincoln, right? So the reason that there are rumors that Lincoln was how homosexual his wife was a bitch, right? No. Well, she was saying. Yeah. But more because when he was a lawyer before he was a politician, they used to do the circuit court. They would run the circuit as lawyers. They would just like go to different towns and whatever in Illinois. And he'd be traveling with other young lawyers. And it was completely customary to share a bed in a boarding house. Oh, and so he would for constantly be in like a queen bed with another man, a queen bed. Spell with a K. I never knew. You probably know this, Francis, uh, that like Kennedy had a gay best friend who just lusted after him for his entire life. Oh my god. That probably is so nice for Kennedy to just somebody like he was in a circle like Kennedy, but like they went to boarding school together. And I think he like professed his love to JFK when they're in boarding school. And JFK was like not you can stop me off, but it's not. I love slamming chips. But you can hang out with me. And then he just like was part of, you know, the presidential campaigns. And I think he was even part of like his trust after it's not gay. If I don't come. Yeah. I mean JFK being like, I get migraines if I don't come. What a pickup. Do that? Is that what he said? Hey, that's chicks. If I don't get off, like you're going to the world as it's sick. That migraines love Brandon specifically. They treat it like they're going through fucking war. Brandon's migraines are just he just doesn't drink water. Yeah. If he drinks one, they get them out in the sun for too long. I get it. Yeah. It's like yeah, everyone on earth. Yeah. If I'm standing for too long, I get tired. Yeah. My great man. I'll tell you having like 16 drinks in a night. I'll get a bike right up the next. Yeah. Always out after your hungover. Brandon went to the doctor and the doctor prescribed him water. Yeah. They're like, here's a couple water drink that he's like, wow. It's a miracle truck. Is a is chain or those back there? Is chain drinking at all? Or is he still? No, he's I think he's he drinks a little bit. I hope he had that. Yeah, it hard. It's a hard time. Like during the case race, right? Yeah, he didn't actually have a so he we did the case race. He drank 16 drinks. Fell asleep on the basketball court. Were you in that case race? Yeah. Fell asleep on the basketball court woke up the next day and like I think his apple watch was like irregular heart. Yeah, yeah. Went to the hospital. I was like, I had a heart attack and they're like, yeah, I think you just are really drunk and heavens. I wish. Relatable. Waking up on a basketball court and I'm wondering why your heart's race? Yeah, probably like with like sting, uh, face pain. Face pain. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Poorly washed off face paint. It's even worse than actually having the face paint on just like trying to get a shadow of face pain around your eyes. You guys would be like going into like doing the case race and then going to the bathroom and then cat. You're like, hold my god. I forgot I had that on. Yeah, like seeing the Joker. Oh, yeah. And you're like, oh, oh, oh. Do you guys get routines? Physicles? Uh, like I do like I probably do. Well, no, that's a it's a pretty straightforward. Yes, you get one yet you don't want it once a year, right? Yeah. So yeah, like I never the thing is I never want to get probably get routine. My doctor, when I call to get prescriptions filled, they make me get the god if I haven't got before they fill the prescription. So I got to go in. I started doing this. You might do this for instance, the skin, the skin. I've been doing that. Yeah, yeah, I have been crazy. I know because that's the most that's the most revealing and vulnerable. You'll ever. Yeah. Hey, son of a boy, dad listeners will be right back. Football is back and with Draft King Sportsbook September comes with a boost. My wife made me do this and then they they credit card swiped me. She opened up my fucking ass cheeks. Dude, I used to have to do this as a little kid because I had like some some weird moles that they got that I took off. And so I'd have to go in every year and show all my moles. And I have a I have a mole on the back of my ball sack. So they get done checking me and every time that they leave, I'd have to be like, I actually have a mole on my ball sack. You also have to check. And I have to like pull up my ball sack. Like lifting an apron. Like spray it. I done yet. Thought you were done. My little boy ball sack is down here. Doc? That I had that I didn't I had a lapse in physicals probably for about 15 years. I went back to the first time. And they were like, you know, you go in the nurse, take your weight, hide all that stuff. And then you're like, all right, you can get changed. I got naked. And then the doctor came in and was like, what? He's like, Oh, for part of my take. Are you fully naked? Yes. And he's like, he closed the doors like, Oh, I'm sorry. And then I realized they'd left me a robe and I was like, God, I don't know. So bad. So bad. And then I'm at the age two now, where my physical like they asked like, how many drinks I have a week? And I don't really drink anymore. And I started just like he was like, I don't really drink. And then I was like, but like, I did I used to do and like, do coke and like, basically just be like, I'm not a loser dude. And my doctor's like, I'm a doctor. What are you talking about? What are you trying to prove? Showing them old pictures. Yeah, let's get to say, we got fucked up by here. Yeah, dude, check this out. It's just my eyes. I'm clearly fucked up in this photo. You can tell. Oh, but yeah. Yeah, I mean, I did the pre-novo scan. Oh, the full body scan, full body MRI. And I mean, every clean bill of health. So while that, those are those are private though, right? Yeah, it's private. You have to pay a grip of money for it. Yeah, it's basically like you pay because you want to make sure that everything's good. And then for the two weeks beforehand and the week before you get your results, you convince yourself that everything is wrong. Right. You have like terrible cancer, whatever. And you get it and you're like, you're fucking fine. What do you looking for new shit? I'd be like, this is this wasn't there when I did this. Yeah. What a business model load just like to just hypochondriacs. Yes, everybody in there is like clearly hypochondriacs. Yeah, you're all just fucking nervous and have expendable cash. Yeah, 100, completely healthy people. Yeah, and everyone, everyone thinks that they have, like I went to my doctor and I was like, I had just convinced myself I was just tired and I was like, I need testosterone. I was like, I will test it. And then I tested and he was like, you have just totally normal testosterone. I was like, God, fucking damn it. He's like, yeah, pretty much everyone comes in here asking for that. He's like, they watch like a human man podcast or Joe Rogan podcast. I think it's a miracle drug and I'm like, God damn it. Yeah. This is what real medicine is versus shit. Yeah, I just thought I could get prescribed it just by asking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Where are you at? Way a little tired lately. Drug seeking behavior. Yeah. Pump some hormones into me. Um, we're at an hour or we're at well over an hour. You guys just cut it off. Why don't you give people a little more sense? I'm, look at me. I'm ready to go. I'll go for hours. No, no stopwatch here. I always get bummed out when you guys cut it out. Yeah. I actually think I was smart to do that. And also to not have guests every single time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like I wish part of my take, like we didn't always have, like we didn't establish that. But you guys get like kind of like the best of both worlds where you get to like still do like your guy's own shit without. Yeah, I know. But like sometimes it's like, man, I wish we could just do like two and a half hours just you guys. Or yeah, like an hour and a half and just yeah. Or you didn't need to get a guest that week where you're like, oh, we don't have to find someone. Right. Yeah. That's a different asking people to come on your podcast is the worst fucking thing in the world sucks. People don't realize that it's like a different, like there's different styles of podcasting where it's like I didn't even get it at first. When we first would have people on son of a boy, dad, I like, I think I thought that we were interviewing them. Yeah. You guys have an interview show. It's not an interview. Like our first time we had Shane Gillis on. We were, I think I was like, so what was it like when you were first on SNL like the rest and the same questions that everyone asked? It's like it's not what it should be and it's like a different style. And you guys pretty seamlessly go back and forth within the styles on one episode. Yeah. Yeah. And it's also like that's when you have, when you have guests that you know and they come back, that's those are the best interviews. Yeah. And they understand how it's going to go. We always got to like every time we got a guest like halfway through the episode, we got to be like, this is it, by the way. Yeah. There's not going to be like a. Yeah. We're not going to ask you about. Yeah. We don't care about you at all. We're just tired of eating someone to put on the thumbnail. Actually, if you don't even want to be on the episode, we're okay with the thumbnail. We're fine with that too. Yeah. We just have, we have a week coming up where we're not all going to be here. So that's why you're here. You guys are doing what like six episodes this week? Something like that. Pretty much we're done with two now. So here we go. And we got good and big John Gruden. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. JG. JG melon. Nicking KB. We had Jerry and Mook on. Compton just texted me back. Yeah. Tell him he's out. He's out. He's gone. He had his chance. He said since I didn't hear from you, I figured we weren't hitting the pod, which is my fault, because I asked him and then he asked and I said, let me ask you guys and then sass didn't answer. So I didn't answer. Will see what you see what you do. You were the domino. I'm going to go ahead and blame you on this one. Yeah. Son of a boy dad. Son of a boy dad. Big cat. Thank you for joining us. Yes. Thank you, boys love the show. You can find him on another podcast. All right. We'll be back next week. Goodbye. Thanks, boys.
