Parasite Expert: The Detox Protocol That Saved My Health

The discussion explores the complex relationship between parasites, toxins, and health. The speaker emphasizes that while many people harbor parasites, symptoms arise primarily due to a compromised host terrain—influenced by immune dysfunction, toxin overload, mineral deficiencies, and emotional trauma. Parasites can bioaccumulate heavy metals, serving as "pollution sinks," so aggressive cleansing without proper detox support may release toxins into the body, worsening symptoms. The speaker shares a personal story of severe health decline from an ill-advised parasite cleanse, which led to increased suffering despite seeing parasites expelled. Recovery came through mineral balancing, which rebuilt foundational health, followed by a gradual, structured detox approach. The conversation critiques the oversimplified "everyone has parasites" narrative in popular wellness culture, stressing that true healing requires addressing underlying toxicity and supporting the body's own systems—rather than relying on aggressive cleanses alone. The speaker now coaches others, advocating for a nuanced, terrain-focused method that prioritizes nourishment and toxin removal in a tolerable sequence.
Everyone has parasites, but not everyone has symptoms. About 8 out of 10 of my clients have physical stuff come out of them. But what is often not spoken is there are countless people that do these parasite cleanses and actually get significantly worse. I was one of them. I just didn't have the prep work. I didn't have the detox work. I didn't have the minerals. So what I ended up having is all my symptoms got worse. Every single one of them. And I saw parasites come out, but it was worse for it by the end of it. So that was a question, you know, is it the parasite the issue or is the toxins the issue? And I would say most of the time released. Kyle, what's the drill? Does everybody have parasites? Okay. So we're not just like giant supositories for toxic worms or are we? But there's like what's going on? Well, about 8 out of 10 of my clients have physical stuff come out of them, which is always a I call that the initiation into this work and the reality of it, right? I mean, it's something we've known for millennia since human beings have been around. There's always been some understanding that we can catch infections and that they can linger and they can mess with us. But I think the bigger question that's not explored enough in the space is why do some people like see not have any symptoms, even though they have like the perfect lifestyle for parasites and why do others who seem to have never gotten an obvious exposure have all the crazy parasite symptoms and see hundreds of worms come out of them, right? And I think those questions when you explore them will reveal a lot about chronic health today. Yeah, cool. Well, let's dive in and you you see something though that just in case somebody's coming over from your audience or there are newer listeners or radical health radio, you're right. I have the perfect combination, the perfect ingredient list of a soup that would potentially give a person parasites in the sense that I'm a homesteader. I live with blood and poop and death and it's very close to my home and I also have two toddlers and you can be as diligent as you want to be about not wearing shoes in the house or washing your hands when you come in. But when you have the two-year-old and a six-year-old and when you're running around living this life and having that many animals and that much poop and stuff, there's probably a decent parasite load on our farm. Now granted, knowing that, this is why we practice regenerative practices and we feed minerals and we do all kinds of other quirky stuff. Natural dworm as for example, which I always thought was interesting. People will dworm their animals quite often but never think about dworming themselves. But also another chapter of my story is I was a backpacker for like four years and a couple of times got pretty gnarly food poisoning and I didn't typically come from a robustly healthy background. You know, I had a lot of issues when I was growing up and things like that. But now today, I actually feel like relatively like I'm thriving. I'm 36 years old. I feel like I would kick the crap out of my 26-year-old self. I'm happy. I'm hungry. I'm horny. I'm vibrant. I have a lot of energy. So I feel like I'm doing good. But yeah, you're right. Like if anybody was going to pick the prime kind of environment to pick up parasites, it's probably dealing with things like poop and dirt and worms and all of that stuff, right? So let's dig into, you know, what you just tease though, which is it might be why some people would have the load effects that would manifest the symptoms and other people seemingly are okay. Sure. So it has a lot to do with the host terrain, right? And that's the whole argument of like terrain versus pathogens. I'm somewhere in the middle there. I certainly think there's a space still for pathogen cleansing. But what often happens is that people will have very dysfunctional immune systems often due to certain things you've been exposed to for post-2020. For example, or certain medical procedures or certain pesticides they're exposed to or certain heavy metals or even their mental and emotional history, right? Certain emotional traumas can create like chronic mineral deficiencies that disarm their immune system and all of a sudden the parasites are going crazy, right? So these people often have all the parasite symptoms even if they have, you know, little to no exposure history, compare that to people who come from, you know, a non-traumatized background and they've been well-nourished their entire life, they didn't really grow up with processed foods. They may still have parasites in them, but the immune system does such a good job with containing it that it's not really an issue per se. So there's a lot of angles there as well. There's a lot to be said on a person's toxin load, so the more toxic they are as well, generally the more infections they have, right? So if a person is extremely toxic because their detox pathways are completely blocked up for various reasons, then the parasites tend to overgrow. It's a common phenomenon noted in biology actually where parasites are looked at as kind of like pollution sinks. They bio-accumulate a lot of these heavy metals, these pesticides, these chemicals to really spare the host in many ways, so it can be like some symbiotic thing going on, but ultimately there's a cost and that cost is often they take their nutrients and they release their own toxins into the system. And so there's studies, for example, with fish, right, where they're in polluted rivers and the more polluted the river, the more toxic the fish are, of course, and the more toxic the fish are, then the more parasites they often have. If you take it a step further, the parasites often have hundreds of times more heavy metals in them than the fish themselves, right? So that's a question, you know? Is it the parasite, the issue, or is the toxin, the issue? And I would say most of the time really is the toxins that are the issue. So the more toxic people are, the more issues they often have with parasites and symptoms around it. And so there's a lot of nuance here and that's why I kind of have a big problem right now with the whole craze around parasite cleansing. I mean, there's like constant reels, I'm sure you've seen and videos about like all the crazy stuff that people release, but what is often not spoken is there are countless people that do these parasite cleanses and actually get significantly worse. I was one of them, by the way, I love to learn the painful way for some reason in life. And one of those experiences was I, you know, inappropriately jumped into a parasite cleanse through the guidance I had at the time. I didn't even have the mental and emotional kind of foundation there with those tools to really unravel my nervous system to be able to tolerate such deep work. So what ended up happening is all my symptoms got worse every single one of them. And I saw parasites come out, but I was worse for it by the end of it. And so you know, I think there's this it's cool to have some awareness about the issue and it's freaky to think about, you know, even in the US, like people can have parasites, but there's so much more to the picture. And I think really we should be thinking about how do we purify someone of these toxins and empower their system, their immune system and their nervous system and their terrain so that it can really handle most of the infections on its own and make it a non-issue over time. Yeah. Well, that's exactly the reason that I wanted to talk to you is because you are nuanced in this discussion. And that's what turns a lot of people off in this space when you talk about parasites and detox and cleansing because well, most people are running a business at the end of the day. So they come out swinging like everybody's got parasites, but it's not as, you know, as nuanced as, but that might mean that you don't have an, you know, do this, do that. It's like everybody has, buy my cleanse and this is how you do it. And, you know, it's a $119 and then people weighed into those and they might get sicker. I'm aware of, you know, kind of like die-off symptoms. You kill the parasites effectively using herbs or even using pharmaceuticals like fenben or ivomectin, but the parasites can hold a heavy metals, right? So now you free up those and they can bioaccumulate in other tissues that you don't want them, potentially spinal cord, brain, it get really gnarly. And those people just don't know the other things, the detox pathways, the binders. So I want to do, I do want to dive into all of that nuance with you today. But first, I want to hear a little bit about what got you into this. You mentioned that you had a pretty horrendous experience with parasites and with a poor detox protocol. When did all this begin and tell us a little bit of the journey? Well, this all began before I was even born. Really. My mom had her own health issues, turns out later we realized she had like eight amalgam philates and dealing with all sorts of symptoms related to that. But then she gave birth to me and I always felt like I couldn't quite perform. You know, I couldn't quite be fully present. I couldn't quite enter flow states. I always had this like low grade anxiety and depression, even as a kid that I just couldn't quite put a finger on. And it was extremely frustrating, right? But that being said from the outside looking in, I seem to super healthy, I seem super normal. Up until I hit around age 18. And there was some massive emotional stress within my family that really like, you know, broke the camel's back. And all of a sudden I had three dozen different symptoms. I mean, it's really long list. And sometimes it's even hard to remember all the symptoms I had. But debilitating brain fog to the point where I couldn't even hold a conversation. You know, forget the last sentence you just said or forget the names of good friends or find even the most basic tasks kind of too cognitively challenging to do at home, which was very terrifying. Extremely exhaustion as well. You know, I really would spend most of my day in bed. I had little to no energy to do anything at all. It was extremely difficult because I was in college at the time. It was so hard to keep up with everything. And just terrible digestion, you know, I had pretty much intolerant to all my foods that I ate, had maybe like four or five different safe foods. And just countless other symptoms like joint pain.
and diffuse muscle aches and panic attacks and disassociation. So it was just so severe that I became super obsessed with trying to figure out what was up, what was wrong with me, and sent me down a long winding path, spending a ridiculous amount of money on countless practitioners, diets, protocols, supplements, a whole lot, explored everything from conventional medicine, of course, which didn't do anything for me, surprise, surprise. Then, alternative medicine, I started with functional medicine. I found that to be, you know, it'd give me a little boost, like a 2% boost, and then I was right back to where I was and, you know, I'd spent like 10 grand in testing by then. Then, all of the alternatives like Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, lots of fasting protocols, diet protocols, supplement protocols, it really nothing actually gave me anything lasting beyond a few days, and I was right back to where I was. So the first breakthrough I had was I learned about detox, actually super early on, no one knew about it hadn't blown up on social media yet, right? It was like 2017 or 2016. I got my first taste of binders and some basic cleansing techniques, and I actually had a bit more sustained relief for the first time, you know, maybe like 10 to 15% better. And I was like, there's something here, right? It really clicked for me. There's something here about how toxic the world is, and like, you know, this has to be handled. But then I ended up exploring parasite cleansing and literally went backwards. I was worse than even before I started detox. Then I explored chelation, medoculation. That sent me to the moon. I mean, really just terrible, terrible disassociation from that. I couldn't even drive after that. It was that bad. And so it was very humbling experience. But still I knew in the back of my mind that there was something to this whole detox thing. So my second breakthrough came after I really hit rock bottom and I had been disillusioned by everything. And I actually, you know, I do this thing, which is like a sardine spiritual discipline, where I spend 40 days with a concentrated intention. And I mustered up every last bit of my well-powered to do a sardine, which was literally just like, I kind of surrender, like, helped me find the right healing path. It was just 40 days of meditation with whatever last bit energy I had. And at the end of those 40 days, I was invited to a pretty random Zoom call with a bunch of random people. And there was this one guy on that call I remember. And he had this really grounded demeanor about him, really like compassionate. And yet he saw me. It was the first time I actually felt seen, right? And there he understood the depths of my pain and he understood it in a way as if he had been through it himself and had come out the other ends. And he mentioned to me this thing about mineral balancing. And I was like, you know, I don't even care about the name. It was just the state he was embodying that really like sold it to me. Though, any remembered the guy's name, which is funny, right? Never talked to him again. But I ended up exploring mineral bouncing, right? This is this science that's really geared towards rebuilding the body. And little did I know that's what I most needed at the time because I had so thoroughly depleted my body through all the aggressive work I had done for so many years that when I started exploring this style of work within about six months, I was a completely new person, right? I actually had energy for the first time in my life to properly function in the world, right? So like properly work and like connect with people and actually have energy to do the things I loved, right? I mean, but I don't realize just how brutal life is when you have absolutely no energy. Even the things that should bring you joy, that should bring you a lot of laughter and light and things that, you know, you can express yourself, you have no energy doing even engage in. So you're forcing yourself to do it. And then you're just, you know, you're suffering through it the whole time. So mineral bouncing then gave me a solid foundation. And then after that, I ended up re-incorporating some things I had learned about detox over the years now with a new perspective and really trying to understand what was the right sequence to actually get rid of these different poisons and different infections and such. And I found myself continuing to elevate through that process. And naturally people started to kind of ask me, you know, like, you know, how did you get through all that, right? Or, you know, what are you doing? Because you seem really vibrant these days. And so I started coaching people and it created a whole pivot in my life I didn't expect. And many years later, here I am doing this and it's like one of the most fulfilling things I could possibly ever imagine. So yeah, I was kind of, I would really say I was just like led by God into this work. I don't really have any other way to describe it. Yeah, you said you like to learn the hard way. Sometimes the pain teacher is offering us the most valuable thing on the other side of the transformation if we can make it out, you know, and then you do the best thing you can possibly do then is help other people can navigate their own, shitcho, their own pains, you know, their own healing journey. And I've tasted that in my form of coaching and you know, we all have our delivery mechanism. You know, we all have our bus. But I think the reason that you're getting more and more traction is because sadly we're more and more poisoned, we're more and more toxic, we're more and more needing of healthy detox and understanding of these things with the capital N word nuance. It's complicated, right? It's not as simple. So kudos to you for kind of holding that middle ground where you have to walk the line between Audron Chaos as it were, you know, the new frontier of science where the mainstream scientific dogma would say all of this stuff is nonsense and you even throw around the word detox. Well, you don't do talk. Do you ever live it? That's what your organs do. And it's like, well, yes, that's what they do in a functioning healthy person. What happens when we're not functioning healthy people. And then you know, you've got this historical context, right? I'm sure you've learned about ancient cultures and everything from the east to the west and everything in the middle of always done some form of parasite cleanse and you're trying to present it in a way that gives people hope because I think you hit the nail on the head when you said, if you don't have energy, just existing, just waking up every day becomes a drag. And that is why I personally call energy the currency of life. It's the most important thing to me. You need energy because if you don't have it, you can't do anything that you care about. And then the ones you get yourself in that catch 22, well, this should make me feel better. So I'm going to do it. Now you're in a downward spiral because you're having to force it. And when we force too much, you know, things break. So let's unpack a few of these terms. If you wouldn't mind detox is the first one that comes to mind. What is detoxing beyond the obvious ones like pooping and sweating? Like what is detox? Well, detox is really most simplistic terms. It's just the body getting the junk out. And in an ideal world, our body does have these mechanisms to clean out environmental poisons. Right? The thing is we live in record levels of pollution. It's just, for me, it's kind of astounding that humans can even work a nine to five and, you know, go about their lives with these hundreds of thousands of chemicals that we can find in their bloods and in their tissues. Right? It's, it's comical. The scale of toxicity right now. Right. So, we have that. And now we also have the deficiencies compounding the issue. So we have depleted soils. We have unnatural, stressful lifestyles. We have really generations of depletion. And wherever there is deficiencies, there's often more retention of toxicity. Okay. And so that's another kind of piece of the puzzle. That's why it was so important for me to work on minerals as well. Right? And, you know, there's a lot more that could be said really on detox. It's, there's been cleansing methods, you know, throughout the years, throughout all of human history, really. What's needed today is a deeper form of detox, something that's more structured and something that is more tolerable because some of these older methods of detox that were like fasting, for example, technically it's a detox method. It's an emptying style of detox, but it's a very YIN style. Okay. And what I mean by that is that it's very depleting. Okay. People are already very YIN and a bit too depleted for that kind of thing to actually work long term. So what people often need is something a bit more young, something that actually nourishes the body and forces these toxins out and empowers the host to actually create lasting results. Right? So, yeah, I mean detox, like such a loaded word, we have detox teas, right? And Walgreens, right? We have juice fasts, we have medical medium detox. To me, most of that stuff is too surface level. Okay. What I'm interested in is transformational detox. I'm interested in getting to the deepest layers of these heavy metals, pesticides, chemicals that are not just easy to get, easy to bind to, but also that are deep in the cell, deep in the tissues, right, deep inside the brain. And then the infections that also tend to hide deep inside a person and getting those out. That really I think is where the magic happens, where you see those real profound changes. Not just the, hey, let's give a little herb for this particular symptom and you get a little boost, you know, 10 to 15% boost, little ashwaganda, little stress boost, right? But then you're right back to where you were. And the real transformation is getting all that garbage out, the deepest layers. So if it's got to come out, it's got to come out somehow, right? So we have sweat.
have poop, we have pee, these are kind of biological functions of existence. And it's actually surprising how people don't think of that. They just kind of take it for granted. I know when I was starting on my health journey, I heard somebody say like, you know, if you're only pooping once a day, you're constipated in the modern context because you're kind of lymph isn't moving, you're stagnation, you're stagnant and you're going to recycle and drive up things like LPS and all of this kind of stuff. And now I'm happy to report TMI for the listener, but I probably poop three times a day on average, maybe sometimes four. And I feel great about that, you know, and my poop's, they're good poops, you know, the nice, not stinky, easy to pass, all of the good stuff. I sweat almost daily. I'm a sweaty boy by nature, which I think is probably works in your favor, right? To be prone to sweat. I have a friend, it's a good friend of mine, but he doesn't sweat. And it's always been super interesting. He's like, I cannot sweat. He can work out in the crazy Florida heat. He can get in a sauna and he can be in a 200 degree sauna for 20 minutes and not break the sweat. And I'm like, that can't be good. What's happening there? So these are signs of maybe me again, being on the side of maybe an efficient detox of versus somebody like that who's an inefficient detox. Or is that fair to say? For sure. Yeah. Generally, you're either excreting like net excreting or your net accumulating. Okay. So, you know, we're exposed to stuff all the time. And so we really can't be like paranoid about that. Instead, we should be really trying to empower ourselves and see if we can help our bodies excrete more than we accumulate. Because if you get exposed to four molecules of mercury per day and you can excrete five, then you're going to be fine. You're going to be, you know, swell. You're going to be able to live your life perfectly. But if you're only able to excrete three, then you're going to become toxic and eventually ill and eventually something big can break. Right. So, yeah, by the way, often lack of sweat, I've seen be more of a mitochondrial dysfunction symptom. So there's been actually a few cases I've had where we simply give them the right minerals, support their oxidation rates, which is a very important concept within mineral bouncing and all of a sudden they start sweating. So, abregulating the digestion and elimination part of it, again, obviously, in our audience will be pretty clued in on this. But probably one of the reasons many people struggle with that is the eating low quality food, which again, get into the wheat here, contributes to all of this stuff, right? Because low quality food probably indicates heavily sprayed with pesticides and herbicides, nutrient deplete, not efficient and like well saturated in easy to digest nutrients, not loaded with minerals. So that's all adding to the mix and then causing probably an inflammatory response at the level of the gut, slowing things down, your whole motilities coming down. So at the very basics, right, got to upgrade the food, get the earth grown nutrients, you know, the stuff that's easy to digest that your body loves this nutrient dense glandulars I've heard you just talked about in the past, right? You were a fan of the organ meat, some things like that. Absolutely. Yeah, obviously that's foundational, like we don't want to get into any of the complex stuff until we've gotten the simple stuff locked in, right? And that's of course like trying to make sure you're having good bowel movements as much as you can. Sometimes you need to work a little deeper to get there, but still, you know, trying to optimize your circadian rhythm and optimize what you're actually eating and drinking on a day-to-day basis. Because if you're going to try to do a detox program and you're drinking like out of a brittifilter, I mean, it's kind of redundant, right? It doesn't make any sense to do that. So, yeah, foundations first. And I'm a big fan of organ meats. I do find that you can fine tune their usage if you use hair analysis because there is times to use certain glandulars more effectively in certain mineral patterns and ratios than others. For example, find that liver can be more helpful with someone who has what's called a low sodium-to-potassium ratio because of the copper in there, it tends to boost that ratio and give people more of an uplifted effect rather than kind of over-tweet them out if that ratio is way too high already. Yeah. So you can be said with certain other glandulars. Yeah, so you mentioned mineral balancing. Is your primary method of helping people figure out where they're at and then to tweak some supplementary dietary factors through what they call HTMA, right? Her tissue mineral analysis, that right? Yeah, I find that really easy, non-vasive way to just get a general assessment of the body's ability to produce energy. That's really what it's focused on. So all these ratios, oxidation rate, like the levels of the minerals, all that stuff is really just talking about how efficiently can the body produce energy? Is it redlining? Is it getting five MPG? Is it, you know, about it like blow up the engine? Or is it going 20 miles per hour on the highway and you're not getting anywhere where you need to go, right? And so really there's a sweet spot. There's a Goldilocks zone in terms of energy production and that's where mineral balancing really shines. It's about getting people to that Goldilocks zone. And of course, you need resources to heal. You need resources to detox. I mean, you can't just jump into a liver cleanse or just jump into a parasite cleanse or just jump into getting rid of heavy metals. If your body has literally no energy or resources to do so. So mineral balancing for me is the backbone to actually give the body resources to succeed in healing attempts. So for assessing cases two, I'm also a big fan of really looking into the symptom picture. Okay. Symptoms are really signs and signals from the body. And most ancient healing systems had a way of looking at these little symptoms, little signs that the body was giving us to indicate dysfunction in different systems according to their own ideas and their own concepts. So to do it in a more modern way, there are dead giveaways for certain mineral deficiencies, dead giveaways for liver stagnation, dead giveaways for certain infections, dead giveaways for certain heavy metals that could be really driving symptoms just by looking at the person's symptom complex. So I find that the combination of that with hair analysis and maybe some basic blood work really gives me a huge amount of information. Because you know, I used to be into the whole functional medicine testing thing. And you know, for me, I mean, maybe it's controversial opinion. I just find that a lot of it's just not necessary. And people end up treating the tests instead of treating the person. So for example, happens a lot with GI maps, you know, you get all the understanding of the microbiome. And then oh, we have these pathogens that's newcomers with some antimicrobials. But then they're not going deeper and asking, well, why, why is the environment encouraging more salmonella or more coli in the gut and not enough bifidol bacteria and not enough lactobacillus, right? So I like to try to go a little deeper. And that usually ends up going back to toxins and how nourish the body is. When you were talking about like the symptomology of what people are presenting with to other physical signs, I'm curious, you know, when you kind of have this perspective shift, like you see everything through that lens, you know, I did gay analysis for a long time. So when I watch a person walk, I can kind of predict what upstream or downstream problems they might have in the biomechanics, for example, when you become a parasite healing mineral balancing, do you see stuff in people? Obviously, you don't run around and say, yeah, you've got bags under your eyes, you've got a parasite load or something, but are there some obvious ones without even talking to people that you would see sometimes? Sure. Yeah. I think skin issues are one of the biggest ones. Then a person's demeanor will often say a lot, you know, do they have like the spark in their eyes or do they seem half dead, right? Do they seem like they're running on low power mode? I mean, you can just take one book at them and then just kind of get a gist of that. Say the complexion of the skin as well, usually there's like a more natural kind of radiance that comes from it when there's good blood flow and that often comes when there's less infections as well. And yeah, besides that, I mean, I think it would be the major ones. The person's smell is a big one too. So the way they smell really can give away a lot. That's too like what's actually living within them. So they always smell bad. That's probably a red flag. And that's usually due to dysbiosis overgrowth of certain infections and pathogens as well. And tragically, you know, when they smell bad, they usually will go to the store to buy an extra strong deodorant, which is loaded with aluminum and you know, it kind of like perpetuates the cycle. You reminded me of something I kind of forgot, but when I was 13, I told you I was a sweaty boy. When I was like a teenager, I had something called hyper hydrolysis, I think it was called, like literally excessive sweating. And in England, we'd go to school in blazers, tie shirts, inside a dark green blazer that I would sweat through the pits, like that time, much I would sweat. And I was self-conscious because I was 13, 14, 15, you know. So I ended up getting this roll on deodorant kind of thing, but it was something, I'm sure polysensin toxic, but it basically killed the sweatlands in my armpits for a while. And I remember putting it on it burned like hell, but you'll do anything to not be self-conscious, right? All that to say, I also, it was very popular in England to not have roll-ons. We have the sprays and I know the spray is loaded with aluminum and heavy metals. So, you know, I've had my first share of accumulation over the years, obviously, I spoke to you offline a little bit. I'm covered in tattoos. I've got a lot of income, my body. I've got four mercury amalgam fillings in my mouth. Like when you think again of somebody that's probably bioaccumulated, a lot of stuff that needs to get out, maybe my sweating is really helping me. But yeah, it's, you're kind of hit from every angle these days, right? Even to the degree
that the things we don't know, like your mom, that you said with the eight amalgam fillings, the mercury fillings, the things that we just don't know, the vaccine schedule we followed or did not follow when we were growing up, this stuff that is just spraying in the air and coming down in the water, what pipes we have in our home, it's kind of a lot to think about. And I'm glad you actually teased before the probably the biggest hit in Toxin in most people's lives, which is stress and the orthorexia, the unhealthy obsession with health, thinking that everything is gonna kill you is actually extremely stressful also. So it's tricky to hold it all, right? Like, oh wow, our world is quite profoundly sick. We're all probably in need of some rebalancing and healthier elimination. And we can stress ourselves out about it because it will just make things worse because stress also dampens the system and probably does all kinds of things to your minerals, right? Hello friends, I have a really quick favor to ask. We are honored that you are listening to this show and I hope you're enjoying it, but we can make it even better with your help. If you like, subscribe and share radical health radio, we promise to make it even more radical. Your support means the world. Let's get back to it. - Absolutely. That's why it doesn't have to be too complicated, right? I mean, there's a lot of nuance, but I think you can get people to a point where they understand how to implement different detox procedures, detox tools and non-toxic living and make it so normal that it feels like brushing their teeth, right? Nothing too crazy, too extreme. And when you kind of live your life that way, where instead you're always trying to focus on keeping yourself clean and well nourished and empowered, then you're not afraid to go have pizza and beer. You'll survive, right? Especially once you've done the deep work. - Yep. - And that's the idea. We want to get to a point of real resilience and freedom with our health, rather than living in a little bubble, right? In a little fear-based bubble. That is something I see a lot with people who come to me. Maybe they have figured out some wild combination of like 10 different supplements and a very strict diet and strict lifestyle just to get themselves okay. But the second they veer off of that, I'll help break loose. And to me, that's commendable. You're able to stabilize yourself in that way, but it's still not real health. The ultimate goal should be a point where you don't have to take anything to thrive. That's really where you get your freedom back and you get to enjoy what life has to offer instead of shrink away from it. It's also where you can play the biggest game. You can actually serve the biggest purpose you can on this planet, rather than limit yourself because you're afraid if I take on too much, then I might collapse. - Yeah. - So, a beautiful thing about real deep detox is it is one method to get there, right? Intervancing is a method to get there. Certainly not the only way, but it is a great way. - Yeah. In your experience, you know, when we think about detox, if we're thinking about the re-toxing aspect of life or the biggest offenders, if you had to kind of like make a hit list of the biggest offenders that were currently experiencing our environment, whichever direction they come from, what do you think are some of the problems there? - For sure. I mean, I'll talk about the ones that we can control and then I'll mention some that we can't. So, one that we can control is the water that we drink. People, it's kind of hilarious how often people fail in this category, but the regular charcoal filters, refrigerator filters, they're not gonna do it. If you're drinking tap water, you're killing yourself slowly. I'm not making that up. That's actually like scientifically proven, you're literally shortening your lifespan by doing that. So, really making sure for me, you're drinking clean spring water. I'm also a big fan of remineralized distilled water or just a really high quality RO filter. Really, it's the basic room, obviously. Like, fresh water is one of the reasons why complex life even happened on this planet. And so, we really have to start there. We wanna think about where we're getting most of the exposure, but also where we can make the biggest high leverage impacts on our health. Then of course, it's the food. So, when we eat non-organic, we're going to massively increase our pesticide load, if I'm not mistaken, eating organic will reduce your pesticide and take by something like 80 to 90%, which is huge pesticides are, you know, they're not just a name, what they often do, is they disrupt our microbiome and our happy microbes that help us have serotonin and dopamine and actually like, you know, feel good and happy in our bodies and have a nice warm feeling of everything's okay in our belly. You know, pesticides often disrupt that and kill some of these microbes. They also often killate minerals from us, like glyphosate in particular. So other pesticides do this too, but glyphosate is the big one that a lot of people know about. That one actually steals manganese from us and dysregulates it. Disregulates it. It also steals iron and calcium and zinc and several other minerals. So, that's obviously some of the bigger ones. Now, if you eat raw fish, that is, you know, probably the easiest way to pick up parasites. So there are some places that you really will just pick them up super easily. That's often like traveling in developing countries and not taking proper precautions and eating random food and drinking random water. It's definitely easy way to pick stuff up. And then I'd say again, raw fish is the main one. Pork is another one. You just, you know, if you really want to traumatize yourself with pork, just, you know, a look up pork under a microscope and see all the stuff that's actually in the muscle tissue and, you know, you'll never look at it the same way. Although, you know, there is probably a space for high quality pork or wild boar, if it's like raised properly, but they usually just eat whatever is in front of them. So I'd say those are the major ones. Then there is, of course, the amalgam fillings, which, you know, evenly you do have. I do usually recommend people, you know, seek a qualified smart dentist, smart amalgam removal, trained dentist for how exactly what the acronym stands for. But that can massively reduce your overall toxin exposure. And besides that, I mean, there's so many other little things I would say, maybe the water that you shower into, getting a shower filter. I say those are probably like the highest leverage ones we have within our control, okay? Now the things that are out of our control would be things like the aluminum raining down on us. So, you know, I don't think it's as controversial anymore, but there is this whole geoengineering program of things being sprayed on us all over the world. And if you actually look at rain and snow analysis, you'll see extremely high levels of aluminum, barium and other heavy metals, you actually also look at the soil. We see that as well. But most importantly, I do a lot of hair testing, and I use oligoscan as well, which is another great form of mineral testing. And I always, always see very high levels of aluminum and barium in people, like 99% of the time. So that is one of the most common toxins, and the antidote to that is actually silica. So silica, I would say is something that most people would benefit from. I really like living silica or horse tail tea or bile cells, a great product as well. And just bringing in more silica into your diet is a really the simplest way to lower your aluminum burden. And lowering your aluminum burden will improve your energy 'cause it's a mitochondrial poison, and it'll protect your brain 'cause it's associated with pretty much all neurodegenerative diseases. The other one too that it's kind of annoying to talk about is the whole Wi-Fi environment. There's, we can do some stuff about it, but we also can't that much. And so I do wanna share some nuance here as to what we can actually do to navigate that. So the fact of the matter is that a lot of these electromagnetic fields weren't properly safety tested, and then other studies of similar frequencies often showed they're very disruptive for our biology. They cause a cell danger response, which causes ourselves to literally just leak out energy. They can kill off a lot of our microbes. They can also be perceived as threats by different organisms living inside of us. So for example, we have natural candidate and molds that live inside of us and under the stress of Wi-Fi, then they'll produce hundreds of times more biotoxins. And all of a sudden something that was symbiotic with us becomes just pathogenic. So it's kind of a big issue. And I really, really hope at some point something is done at a higher scale to take care of that. But what we can do is simply lower our cell phone usage 'cause that's probably the number one source of electromagnetic fields people are getting to just turn your Wi-Fi off at night. It's not hard by an Amazon timer, right? 15 bucks, get it. So it automatically turns off at 10 p.m. and turns back on at 7 a.m. And you will protect yourself from essentially a cell phone tower in your house at night when you're sleeping, which is when it most matters, right? And also grounding. Grounding is one of the most effective ways to make yourself more resilient to all these frequencies. You literally charging yourself up with electrons and a lot of these frequencies will essentially steal electrons from ourselves in a very high level way as kind of what's happening. And so grounding has been shown really to be very, very protective and very important in our time. So I'm a big fan of actually having my clients by grounding shoes. I really like Rizal, which a good friend of mine makes them. They're awesome leather-based copper plug shoes. It's also Baja's and other brands. And I'm sure you know quite a few brands as well grounding shoes. So they're really simple high leverage
to do that can make a really big difference especially for people that work on their computer a lot. Finally, I'll say also just by detoxing, doing all the good fundamentals, you will lower your heavy metal burden and that makes you less sensitive to the frequencies. The less heavy metals we have in our system, through sweating, through pooping, through working on the liver, through binding, through bringing good minerals, we will generally not be as much of an antenna. When Wi-Fi hits, for example, aluminum or lead in our system, it rattles it, it causes it to interact with warm molecules, creates more oxidative stress and it becomes a bigger problem. We can really make ourselves shielded just by detoxing. This is probably why when nobody else can get service at the top of a mountain, I always can. I've got so much metal inside of me that the wave ones are just finding me. I'm kind of joking, but you took the hopeful stance there of hopefully things changing from the top down around EMF awareness and safety, which I would love to see also, but there's a part of me that will put on the tinfoil hat also known as the aluminum foil hat, what you shouldn't wear because we don't want to get aluminum in our brain, that's for sure, but say that those powers that be, these little devices that you said just spend less time on them, because in a strange kind of way, not only do we have to deal with the effects of an EMF device in our pocket, near our genitalia, or in our hands, or on the charger, where now it's kicking off more of that dirty electricity, the thing itself is kind of like a parasite. Now, it might not have physiological health impacts in the sense that it's actually accumulating or bio-accumulating stuff in your tissues, but it's hijacking your brain, and in many ways that's the definition of a parasite, kind of, right? It takes over you, it becomes this entity, and people now, four, five, six, seven, eight hours of screen time per day, being controlled by a virtual parasite, which is creating the conditions of fear psychologically and physiologically depressing them, and that's giving rise to more imbalance internally, which causes them to be a great host for a toxic burden of parasites. So that's just a really interesting little, I don't know, connection there as well, that yeah, I agree with everything you just said, and I'm glad to hear those, because almost all of them are things that I practice. But yeah, like, man, we need to get off these bloody screens some more, right? We need to just like human max. Human max, what a concept. Yeah, it's really crazy. I mean, you know, even meditation, right? Meditation's like growing our prefrontal cortex and helping us, you know, have higher thinking and be more human. I mean, the same parts of our brain that meditation stimulates and grows and strengthens are the very same ones that cell phones and scrolling, destroying and shrink. And so it's the opposite of meditation in many ways, which, yeah, feels, feels a little too intentional, right? A little, a little strange how intentional it is. But something I will say too is one of the most bizarre observations I've made in my practice, and I'm not the only one to make this. Many other practitioners practitioners have made this as well, is that boundaries, good boundaries really help a person be protected against parasites. Now, it sounds strange, but what ends up happening is that when people have poor boundaries in their life, with people, with career, with cell phones, they are getting parasitized constantly. And there's this kind of as above so below thing that happens where all of a sudden they have significantly more parasit-related symptoms. You know, they have more itchy bum, they have more cravings, they have more fatigue, right? They have more digestive upsets. And so it's very weird how just having good boundaries and practicing that and practicing your ability to say no in your life, your won't power, right? It was really obsessed with your well power, but your won't power as well. Can really be perhaps one of your greatest shields against getting invaded by parasites. Yeah, that's a wonderful insight. And I do agree like so much of chicken or egg, you know, what's outside becomes the inside, what's inside becomes the outside that as within so without, you said as above so below these axioms seem to really ring true. And as you get healthier, you know, you start to see more connections in the internal and how it manifests in the external with challenges or people and things like that. I have to come back to you just you kind of glossed over the itchy bum thing. And I have a friend who's pretty big into this world and that's one of the things he talks about a lot like he's calling out a lot the itching of the anus. It always makes me chuckle a little bit when he says it, but it's remarkable how many people then have that little light bulb go off like wow actually I do have that that's a noticeable symptom potentially for parasites or what else when we come back to this parasite conversation. What else might be some symptomology for a person to go wait a minute there might be something here on the parasite side of the house. Yeah, well there's hundreds and hundreds of possible symptoms. So that's what makes it kind of tricky because there's so many different species that can infect any system of the body. There can be parasites in the gallbladder. There can be parasites in the gut. There can be some in the brain. There can be some in the muscle tissue. Right. And so depending on what species a person has, the symptoms are varied. Right. But the most common one by far is fatigue. Right. And fatigue when people are extremely exhausted can be a solid indicator that there's a lot of infections going on. Doesn't necessarily mean the solution is going after them right away, but consistently when people are really really tired all the time they often have a lot of parasites too. So that's one of the biggest ones. Interestingly too, they have big, big impacts on our psychology and our neurotransmitters. So they can really mess with our dopamine levels or serotonin levels and several of the neurotransmitters like GABA and tryptophan and such. And so what is happening is that they can contribute to a lot of anxiety as well. Anxiety being another really big symptom that people have is another really solid indicator of people having a lot of parasites. Again, there's many causes for those two fatigue and anxiety, but I would say those are the top of the list for parasites. Now digestive distress, right. Slow motility. Some parasite species can actually mess with the dopamine levels in the gut specifically, which causes the motility to slow down, which allows them to feast more. Right. So that's a very common one. White spots in the fingernails is a big one and really because white spots in the fingernails indicates zinc deficiency and zinc is something that gets consumed by parasites and is also protective against parasites. So it's a really important nutrient for people as well. If your symptoms get worse around the full moon, that's a really solid giveaway. That's usually because there's life cycles for these parasites and they go crazy and reproduce in the presence of serotonin, which gets higher around the full moon. So wait a minute. How much of that do you think is like this cultural trope that just weird shit happens on a full moon? Could that just be symbolic of parasite activity? Very well could be. Things get wacky and weird both in health and life and full moon. Yeah. It's hard to say, but the worms are just going crazy at that time of the month. They really are. Yeah, they're having a party because with serotonin, they move around a lot more and they reproduce a lot more. So yeah, good time to hit them as well. Good time to get them, right? Here's some like I'm curious and I know this won't be your advice per se, but because I'm loosely on the outside of this niche, I do see some pretty wild shit when it comes to parasites. I've seen pictures of the long worms and the weird things that come out. And another one I think I saw recently was a person doing a milk bath on the full moon. Is that a thing? The parasites like the milk or something? Yeah, I'm not familiar with that technique of milk bath, but the use of milk is interesting because it's bait for the parasites often. So there is, this is the most niche anti-parasitic tool. I honestly don't even use it in my practice, but I do know about it. Is a milk enema, right? You can actually, it's called the guberf protocol and you do milk and salts and it causes people to excrete like pounds and pounds of parasites and uges as a result. Because again, the parasites are attracted to the milk. So for example, one of the tricks up my sleeve when I'm actually getting into parasite cleansing, which usually comes towards the end of a protocol, is using something like yogurt and taking one of the anti-parasitic and opening up the capsule and mixing it with the yogurt because the dairy will often bait the parasites to come out, making the herbs more effective. That's also one of the reasons why dairy intolerance and dairy reactions are often a symptom of parasites as well. And many times you can cleanse the parasites or at least change the terrain and power the host, not even do a cleanse, see parasites come out and all of a sudden they start tolerating dairy again. So I'm a big dairy guy. I love my raw dairy, I drink a couple gallons a week. If my terrain is healthy and I'm feeling good, is dairy and aid in that sense then? Because let's say I do have parasites, it's it's drawing them out, but they're also getting eliminated. Would that be like a logical line of thinking? Yeah, I mean, I think it's also the quality of dairy because I know you go for the good stuff, right? So a lot of the homogenized, ultra-pastorized dairy has all the oxidized fats and it has all the denatured proteins and it's like a dead food and not alive like raw milk is.
But yeah, that being said, if your immune system is strong, it's keeping the parasites under control, then generally it'll benefit the collective, rather than benefit the takers, the parasites. - Yes. Well, I mean, it's so nutrient dense, right? It's very hydrating and it's rich in minerals. So it's kind of, you know, the triple whammy on the positive side of the house, but that's very, very interesting about people with dairy sensitivity, perhaps reacting to the parasite burn and all the other. Okay, back to the steps, if you will, like from a high level, you said kind of the. The parasite cleanses the one that gets the attention because people, like you said, it's the. What'd you call it? The initiation when somebody sees something actually move from them, they're like, "Holy shit, "literally, holy shit, that was inside of me." And parasites are, you know, they're not benign. If you're passing them like that, they're taking away. Whatever you want to call it, right? They're either getting your minerals, are they taking your life force, your money, your cheat, whatever. But at first, you said that's kind of the end step. Like that's just what gets popularized. So I think that's why people recklessly sometimes chase the parasite cleans because they're like, "Well, let's see if I've got any of these in them." They go to some random herbal protocol and they start taking it and it can possibly make them worse because they haven't done the necessary prerequisites. So from a high level, what are the necessary prerequisites? Yeah, so keep in mind that as a general process everyone is different. So there's, you know, things do certainly change. They may be further ahead in the process. They may need even more time with a particular step. They may need other tools that don't even mention here. So, you know, none of this is medical advice. I just want to make that very clear. However, generally, for most people, the process is as follows. The first phase should really be focused on stabilizing the system. So we will not really succeed in getting rid of these poisons or getting rid of these infections if our limbic system is freaking out. So we never feel safe. We always feel like we're under threat. We're always thinking everything's going to kill us. We cannot relax. That is not a regenerative posture. That is not a posture where the cells want to open up and bring in nutrients or let out their toxins. So, stabilizing the limbic system can be really important. That's where higher level interventions can be very helpful. I really like primal trust, really great program for people that can do wonders for stabilizing that limbic system, that part of the brain that really helps us feel safe or not. Love breath work as well. There's countless different, you know, pranayamas and techniques from the east. But even something as simple as a Wim Hof breath work and then sitting in stillness and silence afterwards can be tremendous for allowing everything to settle and allowing that alarm mode in the brain to just calm down a bit with time done consistently can lead to big results, right? Then we often want to think about cleaning up the external environment. So before we detox, we want to stop intoxicating ourselves. And so, you know, thinking about the products that we're using, you know, what we're putting on our skin, what we're washing our clothes with, you know, what we're washing our dishes with. Of course, what we're showering in as I mentioned, what we're drinking as I mentioned, what we're eating, right? Cleaning all those basic fundamentals up, doing the basics of EMF remediation at home, literally, I mean, just turning off your Wi-Fi, right? And going outside, right, getting good circadian rhythm practices, get all those fundamentals in place before we get fancy, right? Then the actual steps of cleaning out the body. So that's like stabilizing the system. There may be other things involved too, like mass cell stabilization, which is kind of a deep topic. I'm not really going to explore too much here, but can be important for certain cases. So pretty quickly afterwards, I often focus on the gut first. So it really doesn't matter how healthy a person is. I find it's beneficial to work on the gut as a first step, as a precaution, and as an optimization for the later steps. But often what it also does for people who are really sick, is that it further helps stabilize the system, right? So most people's gut, when they're sick, gets really screwed up and dysfunctional. And one of the main reasons why is because the gut is the main entry point of all nutrients, but also the majority of food-based toxins. It's also the final exit point for most toxins as well, okay? Most of what's called our drainage, our drainage pathways, should go from the cells all throughout through the lymph, the liver, and then finally the gut, okay? The gut is the main exit point we really want to push toxins through. And when it gets congested, the secondary organs of elimination get really stressed, and that can be the kidneys, with lower back pain, frequent urination, craving salts, and calf issues and many other things that you wouldn't think are related to the kidneys. With the skin, so a lot of skin issues can present when drainage is really screwed up from the gut not being properly stabilized. And the lungs, even sometimes there can be a backlog that goes through the lungs, and we have a lot of the flamm or even asthma, and sometimes it can be related to drainage issues. So we really want to optimize the gut, because again, the gut is going to be the main exit point. It's also the most resilient exit point, okay? Those gut cells renew themselves about every three days. The nephrons and the kidneys, they are for life. So if you screw those up, it's not a good time, okay? You really want to protect your kidneys as much as possible in your other more sensitive organs, and instead allow the gut to bear the brunt of it, and poop a lot of your toxins out, okay? So what we're usually doing here is cleaning out the pesticides. You know, we get exposed to hundreds of these, and it's really absurd how much glyphosate, for example, people have in them. So I really find a high-leverd step at the beginning. It's just to work with some basic binders, full-vacuumic acid, in particular, can really do wonders for-- That's like changing the gala sheet would be a good option in that sentence, yeah? She legit, yeah, is a really good option, really good mineral supplement too, but I particularly like things like ion gut support. I also like a product called Austrian Pete. There's also beam minerals, it's really good. There's so many companies that are doing it really well, but I'd say ion gut support is probably my favorite out of the bunch. That can do wonders for healing the gut lining, cleaning out those pesticides, and all of a sudden the microbes come back to life, right? The diversity comes back, right? The food intolerance has started to go away, right? So that can be really tremendous. Also, people have a lot of leaky gut, so what often happens is the actual tight junctions, right, that should be a selective filter for nutrients, and keeping toxins out gets too open, right? It's not selective enough, and so you have undigested food particles making their way through, which inflames the whole system, and that also massively slows down detox, because when you're trying to eliminate stuff into the gut, and it's getting reabsorbed through the leaky gut, you're having to re-detoxify the same thing over and over again, and you're also making the system even more sensitive to that same poison, because of the over and over re-exposure. So not a good time. Said you want to really work on closing those tight junctions. I, on gut support, is great, as I mentioned, but I love the microbiome lapse line as well. Mega Mucosa, Mega IgG, Mega Support Biotic, Mega Pre, these are all fantastic. I've found for regenerating the gut, and are great for step in the process. Often what people will find is if they do a good job of healing the gut, there's many more things too, like aloe vera, slippery alm, casey gum. There's so many beautiful tools, but they do a good job of healing the gut, then they'll find that they absorb their supplements better, they absorb their foods better. They may have random other things. They didn't think we're related to the gut improve, like their energy, their skin, or their water retention. And then now they're ready for the next step, which would be working on drainage more directly. And I would say really the next most important step within that would be the liver. So liver being our main detox organ is really an unsung hero for so many of us. It has over 500 vital functions, right, everything from helping regulate our testosterone and our estrogen to our active vitamin D levels, to our active thyroid hormone levels, to processing our viral load as well. People often don't realize how liver cleansing can be a really effective way to speed up healing a flu, for example. So liver does a million different things, but one of the most important is that it keeps us constantly clean. It is our main detox organ. It's constantly cleaning our blood. And what it does is it takes those toxins from the blood and it packages it into bile and then dumps that bile into the gut. And so when we want to work on the liver, I find it's good to think about kind of steps sequentially. So usually start with something gentle, like ox bile, tarika, milk, fissile, those kind of gentle things, gently move the liver, the liver, then start to explore things like coffee animals, which fits your first time hearing about it. It's one of the most powerful at home detox techniques one can do. This is not medical advice, but look into it. It's really, really powerful. And it's one of the simplest ways to open the liver as well and support bile flow. And then there's a few other steps as well, but eventually working your way up to liver flushing. liver flushing being, I think, one of the most powerful self-care techniques one can master. It's probably the single technique in my practice that yields the most results.
of, I mean, you know, people respond differently to different things, but liver fleshing consistently really makes some beautiful breakthroughs for people. And that's because people have so much stagnation in their bile ducts. And especially their intrahepatic bile ducts, the bile ducts actually within their liver. So people have all sorts of soft stones, sludge, sand, right? It's just kind of like a weird different textures of congestive cholesterol and bile that needs to get moved out. And when it gets moved out, digestion improves, detox massively improves, and people really can have some big transformations in random other areas because of how varied the functions of the liver are. So yeah, that's a fun one. I love when clients send me photos, for example, of the stones they get out. And I do find, there's a little bit of controversy on those stones like are they olive oil and lemon juice, right? Are they actually coming from inside the body? Well, Andres Moritz, the original kind of person has really blown up liver fleshing. Did a lot of laboratory testing on those stones coming out of people. It's all in his book and his papers and such. And I showed that they were organic materials. They weren't lemon juice and olive oil. They were often mainly cholesterol, soft stones. So bit of a rabbit hole there. But I think the most important thing is, OK, whether the stones are real or not, who cares, they get people better. These liver brushes, they get people tremendously better. So yeah, so besides that, then alongside this, I'm really working on the minerals up front. Slowly replenishing the body, balancing what's called oxygen rate, sodium potassium ratio, other major ratios that are within the mineral balancing hair analysis system. It's really about a targeted, precise way to rebuild the body from the ground up, supporting so many different aspects of energy production and immune function and detox function. And so we're really just building up a person's power. And really one way to look at it is like, if you want to, let's say there's an occupied town, OK? That occupied town is maybe this part of your body where the parasites have taken over. And they're entrenched. They don't want to leave. So do you launch an assault into that town if your army has no guns, no bullets, right? They're not fed. That's going to lead to disaster. Instead, what you want to do is you want to massively stack the deck in your favor. You want to massively empower your own inner army so that when you actually get into cleansing, it can be swift and efficient and not be a complete blood bath. Instead, it can be, you know, we've essentially changed the terrain. And now we can just put an eviction notice, get the hell out. Right? So they're going in like high tech, seal team six and just like get in the job done very quickly. Exactly. Exactly. We don't need this like crazy reactions, crazy instability during a protocol. If you sequence it properly, you'll often find that. You don't run into that as often, right? People are unpredictable, but most of the time, you'll be able to avoid it. Another important step that's often neglected is the immune system. The immune system is really dysfunctional in people for a variety of reasons. And in particular, after COVID, you know, that big mess has impacted almost everyone, whether they got the certain medical procedure or not. And so that's causing certain parts of people's immune system to not be as effective in handling these chronic infections. So I do find addressing that and addressing some of the other late and immune disruptors can be really important. So even simple things like broccoli sprouts, melatonin is a beautiful rabbit hole in of itself, but is tremendous for repairing the immune system. Chinese skull cap and backly next tract is beautiful as well. And then some of the things that are more targeted towards COVID, like the systemic enzymes and NAC, they all have a role to play in helping, again, the immune system come back to life so you can actually succeed in the plants. So that entire process, often what I find, will heal most of people's concerns. And we have, for example, I do a symptom assessment where there's like a scored, you get a score in the parasite section. So let's say a person comes to me with like a 90 score on their parasites. Usually after all those steps I laid out, it'll drop down to like a 45 or a 50, right? So it's already tremendously gone down. People may have already seen stuff come out of them. Then you can explore your anti-parasite. There is, I think, where you can kind of explore the cell core of parasite cleanses. For example, I really like osanated oils, although I really want to do it without the guidance of practitioner. But those are the risers, very fascinating, right? They're essentially different essential oils that get osanated for about 72 hours. And each individual essential oil now breaks up into like 1,000 new antimicrobial compounds, making it just super powerful and also super well tolerated, I find. So usually now the sequence to just go large to small, big parasites followed by the molds and the fungi followed by, you know, for the people who know about it, the Lyme and Co-infections, which is a whole rabbit hole of itself, how common that is, and how many people are asymptomatic and unaffected, which has lots to do with what I've mentioned earlier. But for some people, it's great to go after it directly for me, it was big. I had a really annoying dormant Barton L. infection that was like pissing me off. And when I finally got to that last step, I got that extra 20% increase in my cognitive function and energy and mood that I was searching for. So yeah. And then after that, really people can get into maintenance. They can do whatever they want, right? They can live basic, you know, solid, non-toxic lifestyle. They don't have to necessarily take anything. I do typically recommend people maybe have a binder on board, a toxin binder here and there, or just like a basic broad spectrum mineral supplement like shilligit. And then just do the fundamentals, eat really good, spend time with people that they love, do the things that they love, consider what their mission is on this planet and execute fearlessly. And yeah, that's about it. That's wonderful. Yeah, it's such a good breakdown. And I like that it ends with going into a maintenance protocol. Like this isn't something you have to follow forever. But depending on where you're at, you really should treat this with the level of attention and respect and care that it deserves. And then moving ahead, do you think, you know, like let's just even go for yourself. You've gone through your journey. You've done the pasta, the worms and the holy shit moment. And now you're on the other side. And you've got most of your capacity back at seams and you're doing really good. Do you just prophylactically do a cleanse every once in a while? Do you just, can you keep things at bay through diet and lifestyle and bind us if you go and travel in a something like that? What do you think about that? Yeah, I do think there's a space for occasionally revisiting cleansing and occasionally revisiting phases, depending on what you do and what you expose yourself to. So for example, if you go on a kick of eating a bunch of garbage for a while and you feel your gut start to go and not be as happy, then I think it's wise to revisit colon cleansing techniques like oxy powder or saltwater flushes and then those gut healers I mentioned. Do a phase of that and then get yourself centered. Or if you're traveling to, again, third world countries and you feel like you pick up something that wasn't quite right, right? That happened to me actually. I went overseas, I went to Bali and I just felt like not quite right afterwards. Oh, you got Bali belly. Yeah, right. I know, man, I can check that off the list, but I definitely don't want to do that again. So yeah, and then revisiting a 30 day of parasite cleanse for me got me back to my baseline. Right. So I think it's worth considering, even if it's like once every 12 months or even 18 months, a longer kind of more targeted cleanse on parasites, it's probably a good idea. Generally, I mean, whenever you deworm animals, for example, you're going to extend their life spans as you alluded to earlier, right? Like we're always thinking about deworming our dogs and deworming cattle, but we don't think about deworming humans. They don't even consider the effect that could have on us. So, but even less for the longevity, more for the quality of life, very often people don't know what they're missing. And if they actually, they think they're fine, they think they're doing good, they think they're crushing it in the corporate world or whatever, wherever their spirit influences. They don't know maybe that there's an extra 30%, 40% of the tank that they're missing out on if they were just to get rid of the sludge that's weighing them down. That's right. Yeah, you don't know what you don't know, right? It's phenomenal. You know, on the animal front, in particular, we had goats and they seemed to be sensitive to the parasite load. And you would just see kind of like a diminishing of their energy and the posture. And you would check their eyelids. You would pull their eyelids down and you would look for this deep red color. And they would start to go paler the more parasite load when we'd make these natural parasite cleanses with black strap molasses and the herbs that were relevant to our ecology and stuff like that. And you would just feed them these little black strap molasses, little bites for a few days. And it was crazy, the bounce back. You know, and it's really cool. I've worked, you know, Nate Pontius has been on the podcast in the past and he's got a large ranch now, but it's regenerative and he's running cattle, chickens, sheep and goats and he's constantly rotating them. But this like symbiotic relationship between everything moving and sink.
really keeps the parasite load down. And occasionally, one animal might get sick, but it's never the full herd. And you can go out there and treat that one animal. But in confined factory feeding operations, they're prophylactically having to do this stuff all the time because it's just a breeding ground for ill health. And it's similar to what we're doing as humans, right? That those animals are just not living the way that nature intended. You know, they're eating food that is just left over slop that they're never seeing the sunshine. And it's not too far of a stretch to say, that's kind of what's going on with those too. You know, we're eating this industrial slop, seed oil junk, glyphosate, sprayed everything. We're all loaded with aluminum and heavy metals and microplastics and EMFs. And then a wonder of parasite cleansing and detoxing is exploding because we're sick. Yeah. I mean, it's weird how deeply ingrained it is even into just like the way we interact with people socially. I mean, I think we have like a six cents for like who has parasites and who doesn't. And I mean, even just by like just the demeanor or their smell, we know that we can catch infections from people. And so I do believe a lot of those subconscious behaviors sometimes has to do with like, well, how, like trying to figure out who has parasites and who doesn't, right, and try to avoid picking them up. So yeah, there's something about that six cents for sure. When it seems like you've pretty well versed in kind of like the herbal and natural allies. But something that happened in light of COVID is I have a mechton really had its moment. And one of its primary methods of action, I believe, is kind of like a pretty potent dewormer. What's your take on in the pharmaceutical arena? Yeah, that's a great question. I'm generally not the biggest fan of pharmaceuticals for obvious reasons. Most of them have a cost that outweigh the benefit. But I would say for antiparasitics, there is probably an exception. They do work very well. I've seen repeatedly, particularly for cancer cases. You know, again, not medical advice, but the Ivermectin and Fembenzoal combo is tremendous for people. Yeah, do you think that they work so well because the etiology of that cancer could be related to parasites? There is a lot of research that suggests that there's an interconnection between cancer and parasites and metabolically they're extremely similar as well. And even just contemplating their traits, literally, cancer is acting like a parasite to the body, just too in extreme sense. So there's probably some relationship there, for sure. And I do know, for sure, that a lot of the antiparasitics are also great treatments. But that is something for people to look into on their own. They're the right qualified practitioner. But yeah, for Ivermectin, Fembenzoal, and some of these other kind of pharmaceutical tools, I find they're very, very strong. So even more so, you have to really have those fundamentals I mentioned in place all those earlier steps before exploring it, because I have seen them like mess people up big time. Just create people who are previously healthy, and they got afraid of COVID, they took it, and they all of a sudden had new symptoms, which is not a fun situation to me. And so it's good to exercise caution. So-- Is one of the primary concerns, is it that heavy metal piece? The parasites can lead-- or maybe do favorably leach metals. And if you kill them in the die-off, they recirculate those metals. Absolutely, yeah. It's like essentially setting off a nuclear bomb internally, because it's not like a little bit more heavy metals than our system. It's hundreds of times more heavy metals, plastics, chemicals than what we have in our tissues. Right. So, yeah, I mean, that's the biggest reason why people have massive negative reactions to that. It's they kill the parasites, they release all the junk. And so there's an art form here. Even when you do parasite cleansing, you want to really try to get them out whole. You want to try to get the big ones out first. You want to try to do a lot of like, whole and cleansing alongside it, because that way, you can get these big mother ships out that have most of the toxic junk. So when you go after them more directly, more aggressively, it's so much more tolerable. Is there, do you believe that there's a, is there the potential that there's somebody that's got this so dialed in that they have zero parasites? Oh, there's always some level of parasite. And it's just about managing the load. Well, it's a gray zone at that point, because is it really a parasite or is it a symbiot? I mean, I mean, that's what I'm thinking about, right? Because in a way, it seems like obviously when they get to toxic levels, it's not good, but there's a little bit of aid from them almost in some respects, right? For sure. Yeah, I mean, that's the interesting thing about those research papers, how they can be allowed in under toxic circumstances. So very well, there could be species of infections that they have a beneficial effect even, right? And it's totally worth the cost for the body. There is also the concept of playomorphism, as I mentioned earlier, you know, Canada can become pathogenic under certain circumstances. H. Pylori is another example under certain circumstances against really pathogenic, but the absence of it is also correlated with other diseases and other cancers, right? So I think it really boils down to toxic terrain, and that really should be our focus, like are we detoxing well? Are we excreting or are we accumulating? Yeah, very good. I have one more question kind of out of left field, but it's coming up for me. What I hear about a lot, I've done some plant medicines in the past and what can happen a lot is like a pretty intense purge. You might never have thought about this, I've gone down this rabbit hole, but it's kind of blowing both ends. A lot of time it can be vomiting, but a lot of the time it can be a deep release. And I know some friends personally that have done ayahuasca, which I've never done, but they've had that purgatory effect. I wonder if that is stirring up some immune activity, too, some parasite load, because every time they come back, as much as that was not the nice part of the journey that they had, but there's definitely a healing and a lightness that comes from that. Have you ever thought about that or explored that topic? I have considered that for sure. And if I'm not mistaken, I do think the plant itself does have some anti-parasitic properties. It's intense, right? It's all from the jungle and the Amazon. And yeah, it's a bunch of different herbs and the way it's cooked and stuff. It feels to me having never experienced it that that would just kill some shit. Yeah, don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure there is some direct effect on it. The same can be said with tobacco, for example, which in Native American tradition was something actually used to help contact the spirit world, right? Is it something that was very sacred? Of course, it got really distorted here in the West with the creation of cigarettes and such, but tobacco is also in its pure form, its organic form of beautiful anti-parasitic and very important post-coged for some people. So yeah, it's interesting. Yeah, it's a shame. I've seen tabaccos, they will drink the tabaco tea, they'll smoke a patio. It's a very sacred relationship. They have to it. And then the modern cigarette is a cancer stick because it's so far from removed from what that is. But I've grown tobacco here on my land and we've fed it to our goats as anti-parasite. It's just a plant, and you could look at that in so many different ways. These amazing things that grow from the earth in many ways are probably allies, or they wouldn't grow from the earth, whether we get into just lovely edible plants and foods and flowers, whether we go to the realm of the psychoactive, like medicinal mushrooms, or perhaps even marijuana. But unfortunately, when the dominator cult to get to tons on these things, it just chases potency at the cost of everything else and then it moves it indoors and it grows it in a basically a factory farming method with sprays and it becomes no longer a medicine and it becomes a drug and that's rather tragic. Yeah, well, it's the whole obsession with trying to isolate things. Like we want to isolate this one compound. We want to separate it as much as possible because this is the thing that gives the most direct effect. But it also often has the more you isolate, also the more costs, the more it tends to unbalance the system, which is, I think it's so interesting because nature gives things to us in such balanced forms, such beautiful forms that have so many counterweights within it. Even when we compare getting zinc from a supplement versus zinc from a steak, right? I mean, the zinc from the steak comes with so many other amino acids and cofactors and vitamins and countless different forms of zinc in the correct ratios that life presents it for us that makes it so much more absorbable than just a standard supplement. Right. So I think the magic comes from using some of the stuff, some of the inventions that humans have made to remedy specific issues that humans have also made while using nature's intelligence to harmonize us and get us back into it with nature. Very well said. Very well said. As we bring this one into land, I'm just curious whether you have any favorite either outside of the box healing modalities that you've learned about that really blew your mind or maybe a favorite healing story or something just wild that pops into your mind about this whole world. Ooh, yeah, I mean, there's a lot of weird ones. One, I think is really helpful, which is just weird to think that it could be so helpful for the physical healing. But it's something called family constellation work. So this is a form of a group psychotherapy that came from Europe. And it really, you don't even have to have your family there, but you could just have like, you know, just yourself and have different standings for family members. And the practitioner will help unravel whatever dynamics are going on there with you and your own family. And certain things become very obvious. But what's really interesting about this is that there isn't
immense amount of epigenetic momentum that can come from our family systems, right? From majors or stirbances that may not even be with us or even our parents, it can be from another part of the family system. For whatever reason, it gets passed down to us. And so for some of the deepest layered issues that don't seem to respond to absolutely any single physical intervention or any trauma therapy, that's a great place to explore. And I've seen it do wonders. So there is a story from another practitioner where they were having a client do family constellations. And this was a nonverbal child, right? And the constellation was for the nonverbal child. And essentially, they found that the uncle had committed a murder somehow through this constellation work and never told anyone about it. And when they were able to bring harmony into that and bring forgiveness into the space and fix certain dynamics that were there, the child spoke his first words. So it's really worth thinking that higher level interventions will ultimately very often bleed down into our physical bodies and help us really handle the toxicity in this world and make us even more resilient and powerful. So I think it's worth exploring. Famic constellations was tremendous for me personally, lifted a really deep depression that I didn't even know had come from certain dynamics that happened in my family that that wouldn't respond to any supplement I gave. So yeah. And I mean, it's weird stories I could share, but I'll just say again, we really don't want to just think on the physical. I've had situations where people essentially leave toxic jobs and all of a sudden they start dumping parasites like crazy. I've also had personal situations where you know with hair and osmosis we can track the release of heavy metals. I had a personal situation where eventually I did something I was really afraid of and I like move across the country and I let a lot of things go and I like embraced a whole new life with my like soon to be wife. And I ended up having a massive release of copper in my hair, right, which within mineral bouncing is correlated with fear and anxiety and worry. And often it's it's thought to be something that you know you can only really get rid of through physical means. But here was yet another example of dumping something physically by working on the emotional state. So kind of have countless stories there, but I'll leave it at that for now. That's amazing, man. That's really cool. And I appreciate you, you know, put in a bow on all of this talk about, you know, how to live differently and potentially some avenues to explore, but not discounting the emotional, spiritual and psychological work too, because you're right. If that is a hole inside of you that are a wound that needs tendon to there's no amount of supplements that can get you through that, you know, they might be able to improve your physical health to a degree, but that's always going to be the thing that holds you back. So that's equally as important, if not more important, you know, to get to a self-to-place where you can truly heal, because that's what this is about at the end of the day. Kyle, this has been fun, man. I could talk to you for a lot longer and we'll have to do around two in the future, but I really appreciate your nod to trying to encourage people to not cowboy this, you know, like to work with a practitioner, or you just get all of the necessary bits of information that is required. And of course, that is what you do. So tell people where they could go to get more of your resources, learn a little bit more and potentially work with you for things like your HTML and your treatment protocols. Sure. Yeah. So you can find me on my website, JyoteMB. So it's jyotimb.com. Have a lot of articles, podcasts and resources there that should give people a lot of things that they can chew on. There is a lot of stuff you can do on your own. You know, not everyone has the luxury or the ability to work with a practitioner. So as long as you're like well informed and very cautious, like you can certainly make some progress. But yeah, ultimately it's best to have a mentor to take you through the jungle, rather than just have a map of the jungle and you know, figure it out, right? So you can also follow me on Instagram @Kyle_Petje. You know, I post occasionally there, but I have a lot of stuff coming down the pipe in the next six months that I'm really excited for. So stay up to date and I'll be sharing lots of free stuff for you guys. That's wonderful Kyle. Thank you very much for helping us, you know, fight the good fight and get rebalanced in this kind of out of balanced world. So I hope you enjoyed that show. Check out Kyle. Obviously all the links and stuff will be in the show notes and we'll see you next week. Peace out. Thanks for joining us for another episode of Radical Health Radio. If you liked that episode, good news is we've got hundreds of others just like it and YouTube things. You would love this one in particular. So I think you should check it out. We'll see you next week.
Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Most people have parasites, but not everyone experiences symptoms; the host's terrain (immune function, toxin load, mineral status) determines whether parasites cause issues.
Aggressive parasite cleanses can worsen health if done without proper preparation, detox support, or mineral balancing, as seen in the speaker's personal experience.
Parasites often act as "pollution sinks," accumulating heavy metals and toxins; thus, toxicity is frequently the root problem, not the parasites themselves.
Effective detox requires a structured, nourishing approach (e.g., mineral balancing) rather than depleting methods like fasting, especially for those already depleted.
The speaker's healing journey involved severe symptoms (brain fog, exhaustion, digestive issues) and multiple failed treatments, eventually finding success through mineral balancing and gradual detox.
Summary:
FAQs
Yes, everyone has parasites, but not everyone has symptoms. About 8 out of 10 clients see physical parasites, but the host's terrain and toxin load determine whether symptoms appear.
Many people get worse because they lack proper detox preparation, minerals, and a strong foundation. The speaker experienced all symptoms worsening after a cleanse due to inadequate prep work.
Most of the time, toxins are the main issue. Parasites can bio-accumulate heavy metals and chemicals, and when killed, they release these toxins, causing harm if detox pathways aren't supported.
A dysfunctional immune system, often from toxins, heavy metals, or emotional trauma, can allow parasites to overgrow. Well-nourished individuals with strong immune systems may contain parasites without symptoms.
Minerals rebuild the body and support detox, preventing worsening symptoms. The speaker found mineral balancing essential after depletion from aggressive cleanses, leading to full recovery.
It's a deeper, structured detox that nourishes the body and forces out deep toxins like heavy metals and pesticides, rather than surface-level methods like fasting or teas, which can be too depleting.
