Paige Hurd is DONE Being “Somebody’s Girl” + Talks Playing Lauren Baldwin EP 67 | The Crew Has It

Edward Jones redefines wealth as being rooted in personal values and meaning, not just financial status. Their financial advisors offer tailored strategies to protect what matters most in life, enabling clients to preserve progress and build enduring financial health. This philosophy is introduced alongside a lively conversation with TV personality Paige Heard, who shares her journey from early acting roles like *Cradle to the Grave* and *Beauty Shop* to her evolving personal identity. She reflects on formative experiences, relationships, and the emotional challenges of fame, emphasizing her growth from a youthful, energetic performer to a more grounded, self-aware adult. The discussion includes humorous anecdotes from her time on set, such as chaotic premieres and infamous on-location mishaps, while also highlighting deep emotional moments, like her godfather’s passing during filming. A promotional segment promotes PrizePicks, a sports betting app, with a free promo code for listeners, emphasizing accessible, fun entertainment during peak sports seasons. The narrative ultimately explores how personal identity, authenticity, and resilience shape a life beyond fame, underscoring themes of change, self-discovery, and meaningful connection in both personal and professional realms.

The Vision returns for the final chapter of the groundbreaking trilogy. That family wasn't real. You sure about that? I had a father called Vision. How is this possible? Don't miss the two-episode premiere of Marvel Television's Vision Quest. Nothing bonds a family together quite like Mortal Jeopardy. Now streaming only on Disney+. What do you guys even want me here for? What do you mean, what do we want? You know you're like the most asked guest. That's just because you guys never wanted me on here before. We've never wanted you on. That's crazy. Bro. That's a crazy statement. Last one to the airport buys breakfast. Buy breakfast. Day one, day one. All right, Michael. I'm going to need you to introduce today's guest on the crew. Nah, this is on you. No, bro. This is you, brother. This is all you. No, no, no, no. This is on you. All right. Our most asked guest, besides Omari Hardwick, Paige Heard is in the building today. Paige Heard is in the building. In the LA studio, we got her here. We're so excited. You guys, all you do is ask for Paige to come on. We brought Paige on. We're going to hash out everything. We're going to get – it's going to be an amazing hour. So strap in. Was this not our hardest guest to get locked in? Bro, you would think she was Barack Obama. Like trying to – there were seven different people on seven different teams calling me being like, this is Paige. This is assistant's assistant. I'm like, oh, my God. You had to talk to like four people, right? It was insane. I love how you guys play games. You guys haven't aged at all. We won't. But you haven't aged at all either. Thank you. What's been up? How's life been? Life has been – life in. Yeah. But, you know. I see that giant rock on your hand. You're married now. Well, engaged. Engaged. Yeah. That's so out of my head that I don't even know the difference anymore. I'm like – I don't even know the process. Why don't – like what is wrong with you? Well, how old are you now? Listen, I'm – I'm 29, but I feel 19. I know, but why? Because I love it. Yeah, but, gee, at some point, like – I love the – For the love of the game. I love the game. I love everything. You know how you get older and you're like, I kind of want to settle down? Yeah. Like people start doing that? I'm not even being funny. This isn't for the bit. It's becoming the opposite. The older I get, the more I'm like, I do not want to be with anyone. I love my life. I'm looking on the same – Right? I don't know, bro. It's like – I just like – I don't know. I'm like just being chill, you know? Like it's just so much – I don't know. I don't think mine is like to the same extent as yours, though. Like I think I still got like a little bit of like leveling. I still got like – I think you're just all the way just convinced like it's quiet. Yeah. I saw a girl last night. I was like, get away from me. I was like, no, stop. Like, you know what I mean? I just – I can't do it anymore. Yeah, but you guys have always surrounded yourself with not the best company. So I can understand why you would feel that way. Wait, go more into that. No, it's okay. I have – Crystal Geyser. Hold on. Go more into that. I'll elaborate a little bit. Yeah. No, no, no. I totally can and I don't mind to. It's not like necessarily the worst thing, but like, you know, when I first met you guys, you guys were younger and you guys were having fun and as you should, but I don't think that you guys have ever had situations that would make you even consider settling down. I mean, I've been an old lady my whole life. We all know that. Yeah. So like, you know, that's just different, but you guys have had some really rough situations and interesting situations. So yeah, I probably too would be like, I don't ever want to do that. And mind you, you guys are boys. So you're getting – Gianni, you especially – What? You said elaborate. Yeah, keep going. You especially, like you – you allowed yourself to have gold diggers in your life. No. And you allowed yourself to have the only fan model or the whatever. No, Michael. So yeah, you're going to keep getting those situations where you're like, yeah, I don't want anything to do with a girl. You need to meet a girl who's like – But I don't think G has ever like taken – Bro, I don't trick. I don't – I bought – Well, you don't. None of it. Never. I know that. Yes. Never trick. I don't ever – like, that's not my MO. So I don't know why I would attract that. I don't know. What do you think, Michael? I don't know why he would attract it either. But like, you remember when he would like go out of town and like out of the country and like, I remember those fun times. I know so bad. It got so bad. I got taken off the close friends. No, no, no, no, no. It's true. I got taken off the close friends and I'm followed by this one. So it's like, what did I do? I just like to watch. Go on, Mike. I don't know. I think what it is – like, it's just personality. Like, one, like, obviously, like, just being funny, like, you know, like, they just kind of get drawn to that. And then they want to see if he's like – obviously, he puts it out there that he's not on that trick and shit. He's not on none of that. But I guess they try to see if they could get it out of him. Like, they – I guess they'd be feeling like, oh, maybe I can do that. I've only ever bought two girls' bags. One was my ex-girlfriend, which I really regret buying her bag. Do I know that one? Yeah, you know that girl. And then the other girl, I bought a bag. And the only reason I bought her bag was like a $4,000 Louis bag was because I would try to pay for her nails. I would try and do that stuff because I really like this girl. And she – like, one time I Apple paid her, like, I was like, get the white toes. So I Apple paid her like 100 bucks. She never accepted the Apple pay. Okay. So it just went back in my account. I was like, I like that. But she got the white toes, though. Yeah, she still got the white toes. For sure, I made that happen. But – so I never got the money. The money came back. So then I was like, oh. So I bought her shoes. I bought her a bag. And she would get mad every time. And I like that. I like that she didn't, like, ask and want it and expect it. So what happened to her? I regret it as well. I should never have done that. But you live and you learn, right? Oh, my gosh. Okay. Well, maybe – maybe I'll give you guys, like, two more years. You, two more years. Yeah. And then hopefully – And then hopefully you'll want to settle down. And, Mike, you have, like, five years. It's not going to happen. Mike, have you bought girls' bags? Like, I want to hear – We all know – we know this. I know, but I wanted to talk about – We know this. I know he does. I know he's bought Birkins. I mean, I would be like – This mother – this dude has bought Birkins. Michael. Let's relax. Michael Birkins. No, but look, though. But look, though. Like, you know, sometimes you just be – you know, you just be doing stuff. You know? No, I understand. I don't regret anything. No, I understand you just be doing stuff Louis Vuitton, but you just be doing stuff Birkins is wild. That's too old. That's a bit much. I mean, are we talking, like – Are you disappointed in me? Are you disappointed in me? I'm talking, like, $50,000 Birkins. No, no. I mean, just, like, if you felt it was worth, then hopefully you don't hate the person you bought a Birkin for because that's a lot. No, no. So then, yeah, whatever. It's an investment. I hate both people that I bought the bags for, but it's all good. I'm sorry. It's okay. Anyways. So where are you living? If you don't want to – like, are you in L.A. or are you – I'm in between Phoenix and here. I saw my condo here in Toluca Lake, but I've been in Phoenix most of the time, and it's nice. It's slow. It's calm. It's cool, but I, like, miss work. But I don't miss L.A. work. I miss New York. Right. You know what I mean? I want that kind of fast pace. Yeah. Like, I was just in New York for the last, like, week, and I was like, oh, I miss it here. I know, but New York's so great for a week. Yeah. No, for sure. It's the best place. I got to hear you. New York was great for the entire time we was filming in New York, motherfucker. Okay. We had fun. Like, don't lie. Like, we all had fun. I mean, of course we had fun, but Michael, imagine if I'm – like, that was an isolated incident because it was us. Yeah. Of course we'll have fun. Yeah. Could you imagine if I'm shooting, like, Chicago or, I mean, The Pit or, like, one of those medical shows, and I'm with, like, adult actors, Michael, I would kill myself if I was in New York with those people. You're an adult. No, I'm not. I'm a child, okay? I am a full-grown child. Oh, my Lord. No, but, like, we had fun because it's, like, me and Mike, we're on power. We're at all the clubs. We're all the rappers. We're having the time of our lives. Could you imagine you're shooting, like, Gotham, and, like, you're just going at Steiner, and then, like, stuff's not lit, and it's, like, New York would not be fun, in my opinion. Man, it was lit. Mike, you only think New York is sick because you've been on power since you were 10. You drive around everywhere, and everyone's like, oh, shit, Tariq. Like, that's why it's sick. Bro, it would be lit even if nobody recognized me, though. Like, honestly, it would be even more lit. Yeah, I guess you're right. But, bro, like, honestly, bro, we had fun. Yeah, we did. We had so much fun. We used to go out together. It used to be lit. It used to be out all day. Paige and her Crocs at the club. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Paige would be in the Crocs everywhere. Paige would be the one with the spots, though. That's the craziest part. She wouldn't even be from New York. She was the one with the spots. No, yeah. You guys would be like, where should we go? And I'm like, okay, I'll find it. But that first place I lived in where, remember, like, that underground spot where we all went to get ice cream? I have the pictures of us. Oh, oh. That's the craziest story. Yeah, City Point. We had some of the craziest deal. No, we really do. Mike, do you remember that one time me, you, Toya were at the house and I forget, I think we were going to walk out Woody's chef. He had come by. Was that also his cousin or something like that? Yes. But he went to like, yes, walk out. And we went to walk him out and there was a protest. And then remember they started cussing us out? Like, you guys should be out here. And then we got tweeted about it or something and we were like, we didn't even realize there was a protest going down that street and all the Brooklyn Nets games and all the things. Like the stuff that we did, like, oh my, it was the greatest time of all time. Like regardless of whatever shows. I know Abraham from City Point, by the way. You what? That was the guy. Abraham. Regardless of whatever. Yo, he actually was bartending at like one of my parties. Was he? You remember Abraham? Yeah. Yeah, you remember Abraham. Yeah, Abraham and Justin. He was bartending at one of my parties like a couple months ago. Oh, that's fire. That's fire. Yeah, regardless of whatever shows we go on afterwards, like there will never be a time like that. Like that was just so like lightning in a bottle fun. Yeah. We had such a good time. Did you send him the video you just sent me the other day when we were like six years ago when we were talking about the girl's butt at work? Yeah. Did I send you that, Mike? Yeah, I did. I have this app called Picnic and it's like you delete old photos so it just shows you photos from a year ago and you'll have like old screenshots. You're like, it just helps you remove clutter from your phone. Yeah. They're not paying me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're welcome. And I always see stuff come up from like years ago and there was like an extra on set and she just had the biggest bottom you've ever seen in your life. And it's so funny. She's just like waddling by and Paige is like, that's the fattest ass I've ever seen. And Michael just like looking at it. Yeah, Mike, you look and you're like. I was like. And we were like, she wants us to see it because she had leather pants on. Yeah. Yeah. Some of those party scenes were so insane because like they kind of make a party environment. I mean, it's not really like a party. But compared to other scenes where you're just like at the stage, like there's like 40, 50 kids in there and you're drinking, you still have to have the energy. So some of those nights like were fun. Yeah. I ain't gonna lie. Those, yeah, they were fun. So good. They were good times. Except for when they were on a Friday. I love a night shoot. I love a Friday. There's nothing I love. Not on a Friday though, bro. Like a late night shoot on a Friday is crazy. Bro, for me, for me, there is no place I'd rather go. I'd rather be than set like legitimately like I don't like there's just I just have so much fun on set like I don't like being alone. I like being with people. So there's the crew there. Like I just enjoy being on set. That's why I like it. And then you get to do the scene. It's fun. You get to act. All right, guys, we're going to take a quick break. We've got to put you on to something that we've been obsessed with lately. Prize picks. If you love sports and you love making money, this is the place to do it. These are questions like, I've never told Paige this. Cradle of the Grave is like one of my favorite movies of all time. For real? It's a fact. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. That scene where DMX is on the quad and he steals it. That was almost like my personality growing up. I was like, X going to give it to you. He's playing. He's just flying through the city. I'm like, this is the sickest scene ever. So that wasn't your first thing though, was it? That was my first movie. It was your first movie. Yeah. What was your first thing that you ever booked? My first thing I ever booked. My first thing I ever booked was a Kmart commercial with Sesame Street in 1999. It's actually on YouTube. Wow. Yeah. I think Latoya's mom found it for me. Wow. And that was my first job. And then I did Felicity. I did an episode of Felicity. And then right after that, I got Cradle to the Grave. Wow. Yeah. And the Cradle to the Grave was like the big thing. Yeah. That was like big. And then Beauty Shop was right after that. So then those two were like the big things that just like started my child little acting career. How old were you then? I don't know. It's a good question. I try to do the math all the time. But it came out in 2003. So you do the math. Yeah. I'm not great at math. I was homeschooled. Me too. I was homeschooled. So you guys figure it out. You guys were on set school. So you guys, I'm surprised we even made it here today. But. Me too. So you do Cradle to the Grave. Now, at the time, does it feel like a giant thing or you're just a kid? You're like, oh, I'm acting. I'm having fun. I think it felt like a big thing because it's like when you're a child actor or something, it's not like so much pressure from yourself. It's not like so much pressure from your parents. But like, it's like, did you get the job? So I think the excitement from my mom was more of like a thing where it's like, OK, I did a good thing. I didn't know who my godfather was at the time. I'm a kid. I don't listen to his music like that. I'm not allowed to. I just know like when we tested, we just bonded immediately. And so it was pretty cool. And I know I was like in the Taco Bell drive through line when I got the call. I got it. So I was just like, look, you know, you get treats when you make it far. And auditions for as kids. So I'm getting Taco Bell. I'm happy. And then I hear I got it. I'm like, OK, there's going to be another treat to come with this. And then. Crunchwrap Supreme top page. Right. So but no, it was like exciting to film. And it was it was it was actually a really, really good experience, too. Yeah. A lot of I hate that I know so much about this movie, but I love it so much. A lot of that movie you were in of in the van. Right. Yeah. A lot of it. So do you remember just being like, oh, my God, why am I in this? Like, yeah, no, because I'm very claustrophobic. So we had a lot of working around, you know, like getting the shot done very quickly and having somebody come cut that tape off of me or my mom being right there. There's even like a part they had to cut because I just couldn't pull myself together where like the big guy that like kidnapped me. He had to like we're in the limo. The cameras are right in front of us and he has to like hold me really tight. And I just could not get it together. I was like, guys, like I can't. So they end up having to cut that. So. There was that. And then like doing the fun scenes and learning about like sugar glass and breaking that and all this stuff was really fun. And then, yeah. Was there anything that like really surprised you about acting or you just kind of like we're just going about like this is all new to me, but it's fun. It was OK. So it wasn't so new because even though that was my first job, I had been in classes like when I started in Texas, I was in all those classes. I was doing all the work. I was young. They had me doing. Like hours of stuff. So it just felt like normal for me. But then it was also really fun because my godfather loved to play with his remote control cars. And I had a teacher on set, my acting coach, who she would like want to run lines all the time. My mom says I was such a brat to her. But because like my lines were like, daddy, daddy, daddy. I'm like, girl. Yeah, I got it. What do we need to keep pulling ourselves to the side for the practice? Running those over the day is great. Like. Well, I mean, realistically, it's better than the canonical studies that you got. Did you? You had to do those two, right? Those those large monologues. Yes. Yeah. Oh, my God. I'm so happy. I never had those. I was like, yo, do we do the deal? And it was like my brain. No, those were hard. The words trying to figure out what everything meant. I'm not even going to hold you. Sometimes Michael and I can. I don't want to tell Michael. Sometimes I would write my lines on that on that book. Are you kidding me? Yeah. The greatest actors in the world. I'd be like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, we I actually found papers of like of some of our like doodles like we because we'd be in there for hours. I mean, you all day. You understand, like the greatest actors in the world, like Marlon Brando and all these guys during The Godfather. There's iconic scenes where like Marlon Brando is like looking up and like talking. He's looking at cue cards. I love it. I love it. And we needed that for those big words. For sure. Like. Those scenes. Yeah, they made my head hurt and I wasn't even. We needed that for canonical studies. Yeah. But those scenes. Oh, my God. Do you either of you? I mean, we'll get to the power stuff. But do either of you remember like the worst scene you guys ever did? Not acting wise, but just one that was like just miserable. For me, it had to be just like any time in the classroom where she was going hard. Yeah. Like, Lauren, calm down. Yeah. We know you're smart. Just chill out. Be quiet. Like really having to break something down heavy or like if me and Michael would have to go back and forth, like if we were like kind of debating. So it'd be like long for me, long for Michael, long for me. I'm like, oh, my gosh. And we have to keep going. Yeah. Like those would be hard. And I'm like, yo, what are we even talking about? Yeah. Yeah. Those are definitely rough to see. So why did you first like what was your first thing of going into class or like in Texas when you wanted to join acting class? I think that's just what my parents decided. Was your mom in the business at this point? No. Oh, so you got her into the business. Yeah. So she ended up being in the business. - Because of me. um but i think it was like my older sister was playing sports and my mom says that my dad was like you know she needs to be doing something and it was just like okay well we're gonna put her in acting because they said i used to like perform in the restaurants and like people would send over like oh can we send them a dessert and all this stuff she's so cute and my mom's like we're gonna get paid for this yeah so threw me into class and here i was like in this young child's actor studio in texas doing the thing yeah you weren't shy as a kid you were no i wasn't i wasn't that that came over time like now i've become very quiet yeah it's kind of crazy like not shy but like people that you don't know you're like kind of you know you're not me i'll see anyone i'm like what's up brother you know what i mean yeah that's kind of and i used to be that way but even i was like oh my gosh this podcast like this will be the first time i think anybody's heard me talk in like two years i know it's gonna be crazy my i don't know what kind of kid i was but i'm like well i think i had my shy moments had my like outspoken moments but you know me like yeah i'm kind of like the same as page like if i'm comfortable around you then i'll probably like you know but other than that i'll just be yeah observing yeah i don't know as a kid i don't remember i think i think i was a little more like outspoken though compared to now and do you think it's kind of like now with page are you kind of like you're just a little more chill now yeah i'm just chill bro it's so crazy i'm on the opposite than you guys i'm just like well i don't want to get married i'm two more you know what i mean it's like yeah but then you said what what age did you start i started i moved to la on my 19th birthday but i started taking acting classes when i was 18 okay so i think it's just like a it could be a child actor thing probably where it's like you always had to be on and now you're kind of like interesting yeah i'm just gonna and like also too like we're we're gonna have it to where it's like if you don't work for a while then you're called this washed up child actor you're this so like it makes you kind of retreat and you're like all right let me just kind of sit back and i don't want to hear what people have to say whereas like you didn't get molded as a child you don't have to go through some weird stuff that probably like scarred you and wasn't cool and so now you get to be the adult that's like yeah no that's not happening i don't want that so you can keep your personality whereas i feel like sometimes we lose it and we have to find what our real personality was gonna be had we not been under all these like spotlights and people telling us what to do damn because sometimes i feel like that could be what it is because i'm like when did i get so quiet yeah when did i stop wanting to post on social media and like yeah it's weird i don't know yeah no we we talked about that a little bit on the on the first episode back of like you know you'll see people like even um tyler who is in um uh everybody hates chris with you right he didn't work for like five six years like was going out and then now he's on the biggest show it goes it comes in waves like you'll you'll be on a hit show and then great like back to work back to auditioning back to and then all of a sudden you're you're the biggest thing in the world like that's just how the business goes so yeah there are haters who are like oh washed up this and that it's just like yeah like it's very hard it's a hard business so um but i'm grateful to be in it right um so cradle the grave at the at the premiere do you remember it being wild like um i do remember the premiere yes i had this little cute white dress on with this itchy itchy pink fur coat that they put me in and i had my hair cut and it was like a little swoop up like this um the premiere was pretty interesting i don't remember too much about the red carpet aspect i remember more beauty shop um because i didn't really talk too much on that one i don't think they really cared there was so many big stars in it and i was just a little girl and i just remember also when we watched the movie how many times my mom had to put her hands over my eyes because i couldn't see something or i'm just like girl you're like eight like girl yeah yeah like i'm in this movie why can't i watch and i'm like i want to watch but then after that i just know like they got to enjoy the fruits of my labor going to the after part and all the things i'm in the hotel i'm like all this work for what yeah do you remember um meeting anthony anderson and dmx and all them for the first time or now um i remember meeting dmx i don't remember anthony um i kind of remember gabrielle um like i know that we all had our stuff but i i don't remember like certain moments with them um they were adults who were working and like necessarily didn't pay me two two cents whereas my godfather really did um and i think that's why we end up creating the relationship that we did yeah so how did how did that uh unfold afterwards like you guys just stayed in touch after the movie because like you'll go film a movie with someone you'll never sometimes most of the time never see them or talk to them again i know look like this page carter so um no yes so first we like literally bonded at the chemistry read and at the time him and my god mom tashira had three no yeah they just had their third boy they had not had a daughter yet and he wanted a girl really bad and so like he fell in love she fell in love and then i think at work i was like can you be my dad and then like from there it just like i would go to their house for the summer times they like just adopted me i was like you guys are gonna be my godparents i chose my godparents my parents didn't choose them for me and i just like spent time with them and we all just got close i'm really close with their kids and still really close with my godmom to this day um have did you meet her i know michael's met her i don't think i ever met i just saw her like a few months ago as well did you i like that yeah i didn't have like a a financial literacy like program thing at a school and she was there oh my gosh yeah yeah so like still super close with them to this day and all the stuff mike where did you meet her for the first time because she probably came to some power events now yeah in new york actually she came to the premiere i definitely met her yeah yeah you met her she came to the i don't remember the first first time i don't know where i don't remember exactly where it was it could have been cook at edward jones we believe rich is about taking care of you care of what gives your life meaning that's why your financial advisor personalizes your plan to help you preserve your progress and create something that lasts let's find your rich edward jones member sipc it could have been second season like once you pass yeah probably once we're able to be in person and do premieres and stuff because we actually for the first season we our premiere was at you set that up i set it up and my little brother for you guys and my little brother threw up all over your um the hallway at that building you remember that yeah yo so mean do you remember that yes i do he's here i know i'm gonna tell the story i love him so so it's uh it's covet time so we weren't able to do like a real in-person premiere whose house was that um her name was denise she worked with my mom beautiful apartment yes so cute rooftop apartment amazing oh hey uh we it was like uh it was outdoors we had the whole screen up there so wait before you get into it i catered the food for them i got them sweets i set up a cute little area you killed it let me throw us yeah a first season premiere was september and like really did the thing for everybody it was it was unbelievable so the whole cast is there we're doing lives we're doing this we're doing that we're pushing the show and all of a sudden i i see my little brother he's like spinning a little bit he looks he's smoking weed he's drinking and i just see him like just looking a little and i'm like oh god and then so one of the people who own the house is like oh i think it brother's like really fucked up right now and i'm like oh god so then all of a sudden like i see him get bad so i i was like we got to get out of here i start there's like that circular staircase that goes down and i take them outside i it's like a movie i hear big rich town start playing no my first series regular my name is on the cue card all of a sudden at that exact moment he threw projectile vomits everywhere all over himself all over the hallway and and bro i run back inside to to to the thing and i grab the mops because i have to clean this up like it's in the hallway he's he's too messed up so i start mopping it all up as i'm hearing big rich town play my first series regular i'm just like cleaning up throw up oh my god i didn't talk to him for a month and a half that's what you get you needed to be humbled me what did i do why did i need to be humble i don't know for all the things to come god was like you know i know how he's gonna act let me just throw this in there he needs to be humbled that's insane that's fine oh my gosh i can't believe i'm so sorry he did that what do you mean oh i'm so sorry he did it i know but i'm so sorry we're even telling that story no i'm actually i'm gonna make him cut that and you know what for a long time you didn't drink so we don't have a lot of good stories on you which i hate i hate going out with people you know what he was doing why you know what he was doing because then you knew all the tea the next day and you just and everybody else is kind of like i don't really know what happened like the the stk story oh oh i don't want to talk about it yeah yeah no it wasn't no it wasn't yeah we got a ban from catch steak because i was defending michael yeah yeah it was and then i got in trouble you guys yes you were you were trying to fight that girl and i said you can't so i'll do it i was trying to know she was talking crazy she was trying to talk crazy to you but then you had no chill and you were really about to go crazy i said who the fuck are you talking to i said who the fuck are you and then i was like you gotta move inside i'll do it and i threw my jacket and then the next thing i know i'm being brought into the office at work bro the thing the thing about it was so funny because we would go everywhere together for having my back we would go everywhere together and and just like cause this scene you'd be like oh there's the power kids again we're like it's not even crazy it's people crazy that same night that same night we went to i think it was i think it was one oak went to one oak yeah and some same other we went through real outside we really did that's why we were still he was so good man we had some we had some sometimes okay so so after after cradle to the grave is that when um like how much after that was um everybody hates chris okay that yeah now we're pushing a few years did you do stuff in between yeah i did beauty shop i did cat in the hat i did wait the one with um mike myers yeah everybody's starting to see that because it's on netflix now and they're like wait you were in that it's quick but yes yes i was i did that um and then i would do like one-offs you know what i mean like i did episode george lopez sweet life of zach and cody and then everybody hates chris came on my 14th birthday i think it was my 14th birthday she was like i was at the taco bell drive-through and no it's actually crazy because at this point now i am in middle school and i'm fighting going to this audition don't want to go i'm like i don't want to go it starts on my birthday and i just i don't know what was wrong with me that day i just didn't want to go audition yeah you know i just was like rebelling and i didn't want to do it um shout out to kim coleman who casted me because kim coleman has casted me for almost everything you've seen me in so beauty shop everybody hates chris the oval and probably more you know what i mean um so i go in and i end up getting the job and i'm very happy that i got the job i'm very blessed it just was like i was having a kid moment who did not want to go work at the time um and that job was hard because that was my first time working with other children what specifically what about that was hard um let's just say kids are not the nicest yeah i mean think about it it's like you're in high school or middle school that's exactly what it felt like and there's clicks and there's this but then there's money involved there's power involved i am this on the call sheet on that yeah it's a lot worse than than what middle school would be yeah yeah and um you know we're all cool now we're all adults but it felt like i was walking into a high school and mind you they're all series regulars and they all play siblings on the show i'm just coming in like another one of the girls i'm always somebody's girl i'm so over it yeah i'm so over it like that that's enough because i get actually treated like that yeah throughout my stint of work like me and michael used to be like a murderer remember michael they used to be like we can't talk to page because we don't want to make michael mad like what the hell is y'all's problem y'all was not with none of that you okay yeah and i'd be like michael who would say that that people okay people people and you had a lot of jokes yourself like oh my gosh like people would really bother me but like that end up happening there too right and i'm like you know i'm really just coming here to do my job mind you i'm still in public school i think at this point um i was transitioning out of public high school into homeschool so i can be able to work um and it was just just rough it was tough how many seasons of that show that did you do i think i did three i think it was three so you were famous after that show like you were famous like you were like everybody's tv crush okay you were oh thanks i mean i'm like a kid growing up but like you were everybody's tv crew how was your crush you weren't my crush i mean don't get me wrong like you now you started liking black girls but not back then hold on can we cut michael out of the feed you were my crush um wait what did you say i said oh now you started liking black girls just not back then no i just don't want to say it in front of michael yeah you're my tv you see this is just i did that for the bit okay i did that for the bit um no legitimately you were everyone's tv crush did you feel like what was your first in instance of fame did you feel famous did you feel different like how did that all unfold because you were also very young okay so here's the crazy thing i still to this day don't feel famous okay yeah very odd i was filming that show and taking like public transportation to homeschool homeschool my mom kept me humble humble humble so like i don't know it's never translated for me like yes i work on tv and then i'm like i mean you've seen how i am like i don't act like how i actually could i guess like i'm just i play it cool play it chill like i'll just be back here you guys do your thing i'm just gonna hang out but like yeah i mean michael are like bring the bottles yeah no i'm kidding no you're not you're serious 20th birthday um but but you had to have people had to have come up to you and and uh ask for photos like what was that interaction like at that age um i think so okay at that point we were like also on myspace and stuff like that so like people weren't really asking for photos how they do now with our iphones um oh yeah that's true i think you would get more like myspace messages but you didn't know like who was real who was not you would talk to people on youtube i'm like bro if youtube was what it was now when i was doing it i'd be my little millionaire billionaire all the things like the kids um but like we'd make those long form videos and so i have all those and like that's how i would talk to to fans but it never like felt super real because it was you know on the computer i feel like things started to pick up once we started power because then after everybody hates chris i had a really long time of i worked i did hawaii 5-0 um different audience so it wasn't necessarily my peers um and then i had my like one-offs god definitely blessed me throughout the years that i felt like i wasn't really working but then power is when it started to be like okay now it's like right people want to yeah iphone is out there instagram people want to take pictures all that that's that's so interesting yeah but before the powers did you do did you have any like um celebrities that you had in your life that's so interesting but before the powers that did you do did you have any like um celebrities that yeah iphone is out there instagram people want to take pictures all that that's that's so interesting yeah but before the powers that did you do did you have any like um celebrities that you had in your life before the powers did you do did you have any like um celebrity relationships or anything because like now you're in the scene right you're in la you're you're on a hit show you're people's tv crush did you ever do like celebrity relationship or did that ever happen or occur nothing no you've never seen me yeah i know i know i just sometimes it doesn't make no no no for sure but yeah no no celebrity relationships that's interesting i know um so then you you got the oval and then you so you shot that atlanta tala part uh-huh and then so i don't know if i'm gonna be able to do that but a lot of people know this so and you could talk about it or not you left the oval for power um yes i was given permission to come to power wow tyler was like you can go do your thing yes that's so dope yeah yeah um i remember getting the call while we were on our season one like press tour and mind you power is my favorite show yeah it was my favorite show power and this is us were my two shows that like i'm sitting down i'm watching it it's for real right um but i remember walking out of my self-tape audition like yeah way to blow it that sucked yeah boo you're trash like boo i'm like i'm gonna be pissed off at whatever girl gets this role i'm gonna be sick to my stomach um and we had mock sides too so i figured out that anthony was michael that's who his name was in our thing so i'm like okay um you just blew that and then i ended up getting the call and i apparently like once i was hearing everybody's audition stories like mine was completely different and i don't know if it's because i don't know was lauren a last minute thought was she just written in it i don't know but it was quick i booked it off of a self-tape i didn't go to producers i didn't go to test which thank god because all that's nerve-wracking right that's so nerve-wracking so i'm like thank god i just was able to do it this way um and then when i got it i was so excited but so nervous because we were doing like tyler perry's grand opening for and so I had to I got a call on Friday I had to wait till Monday to like know and y'all were moving fast you remember I was the last person to walk in the table we're getting to that but go on so I have to wait and I'm like oh my gosh I hope he lets me do this I hope I hope I hope so he gives me a call we have our conversation I have a video of like my sister recording it for me and I'm at a basketball game like like you know like this is what it is and I really love oval but I did tell him I said listen as much as I want this like we did just start the oval and I'm a very loyal person so if I need to stay here like I will totally will I'll miss out like I'll be sick to my stomach and sad but I will and he let me go and I was so excited to come to power and we didn't sign my contract until 10 p.m the night before the table read and I had to be at that table rate at 10 a.m so luckily the first stop of our press tour for the oval was in DC so I was in DC so I was able to get like the first flight out and they said to come makeup and hair ready so I never went to sleep I kept my hair together and I kept my makeup on I never went to sleep I was just like dude I was like oh my gosh because like I don't know anybody there I have to find my own hotel all the things and um I land of course there's traffic all the things I try to go home like or to the hotel iron my shirt and the PAs are blowing my phone where are you where I'm like I'm on my way there's traffic and I just remember walking in and everybody's sitting around in that big room around that table it's silent and they're like i'm walking in and they're micing me and all this stuff and i'm walking in and i'm like oh my god everybody's just sitting here and like no i'm not the last one in here i'm looking at michael mary method i'm like this is so embarrassing oh my gosh and then like as soon as i sit they just like start i'm like okay so then i'm exhausted right i haven't slept so i'm like all right i can go home i can fly to la get my stuff because we're not starting and shanna comes over and she's like hey so we're gonna hold you for rehearsals and i was like okay sure i'll do rehearsals and then i'm gonna fly home she's like yeah you start tomorrow your call time is 5 a.m and i was like oh my god oh my goodness you had none of your stuff either nothing i had nothing i had a duffel bag so we did rehearsals i remember going to the hotel and eating falling asleep getting up to do it and then i left afterwards to go home to la to like pack all my bags and then move to new york do you remember the first scene that you shot yeah we were outside and like why didn't anybody tell me we didn't have to have new york accents because if you watch the episode back i'm mad that i'm even bringing this up because now it's people are gonna go watch and pull it what did you what accent did you have no like whatever i thought we were supposed to have what i did in my audition so i'm thinking i booked it this way we do it this way nobody told me not to uh and then what happened it just was bad i just over time stopped it and nobody and nobody caught it that is so i gotta go back no it's it's horrible i'm like um because i was like and richard like he canonical studies like oh welcome to canonical studies i didn't even know that you did it that's so funny so but i mean it does make sense as a character you're like i'm i'm grew up in new york yeah i'm like oh they're in new york yeah so cool i'm gonna do it that way that's bad though it wasn't bad though it wasn't like horrible but it was bad when we was when we first filmed like that at some point now okay now go back and watch it and then you're gonna crack up laughing because it's like actually not that great so so from my point of view and michael's point of view of you coming in late everyone is sitting down okay talk to me the whole cast is sitting down there's one empty chair i'm here michael's here for the table read and then there's one empty chair and me and michael are like because we knew it like you were gonna do it would probably be his love interest so me and him were like who is it like oh y'all didn't know who we had no idea i didn't know i had no idea who was it so we're like who's gonna be your love like me and him like at this point we're like tight so we're like oh my god like who's gonna be making out with all season we're just like whatever all of a sudden it's like slow motion you walk in and i i'm like oh my god it's page and and michael looks at me we like lock eyes right so funny you sit down you're like oh you're like so sweet you like start highlighting your days and i'm just like and then i'm reading the scripts i'm like this guy got three fine love interests and i'm over you're like oh dude i was just like oh my gosh but yeah that was kind of our point of view michael do you remember your first conversation or first time meeting page or was that your did you meet her first time yeah no my first time meeting her was at the table read and then like like i guess i think i was sitting down at first but i i guess i still said what's up turning she sat like next to me i was like oh no i actually did not sit next to you i didn't sit next to you i sat next to melanie and then i was next to method professor milgram who did i who did i sit next to you were like in the middle but i forget i think mary was next to you yeah i was like two over from michael and then yeah yeah it was just kind of all a blur at this point yeah um and then i remember michael was michael was sleep in our rehearsal always always so that was our first interaction you remember that scene where i'm on the phone with um damn i forgot the character name i'm so terrible bro holy she was like she helped me get um tasha out and everything like that oh um quincy tyler bernstein her yeah yeah yeah yeah i forgot her the character's name though yeah i forgot it i don't remember anyways i remember they were filming a scene where like they were filming the pov like her pov on the phone and like i had no business being there on set i forgot what park that was they were filming and they had me on set bro and i was just like i'm not even like in the shot on the phone like what am i doing here and then like next thing i know i'm on the on my cash here in the middle of this park sleeping for like two hours i wake up i'm like y'all didn't send me to my trailer bro like what's going on but like well i didn't even realize like i was just sleeping like i uh bro i could just sleep i i wish i had that more than anything um back back to you said uh obviously like you know producer session unless i make you nervous do you get nervous during auditions um not anymore i mean because we're self-taping right i feel like if we went back to in person i would be terrified right now i've been i've been i did a bunch of in-person you did yeah well look at you i i love i like that more than me too no i absolutely love that but when you have in person if you get nervous um just when we're like not when it's not consistent like now that it hasn't been consistent going back i would be scared but like once i get consistent again i'd be fine yeah because it's just like whatever like i'm going back to class tonight for the first time i'm scared class is definitely way more terrifying than an audition process because for me once i'm in the audition process like you have those nerves walking in but once i get started i get started because like i have no time to think about you anymore i have to really think about like okay do i either want to blow this or do i want to like knock this out right and it's easy whereas class you're just constantly up there everybody feels like they can talk to you and tell you what to do and i don't have i don't do well with that um my class is like where the peers can also give you notes and at first when i got there you guys know me i was like yo can you please be quiet like i'm trying to talk to my teacher and then i was like oh this is how notes yes oh i don't like that it was like a lot uh i i don't think my ego would get involved but i i also have a thing with acting teachers sometimes where um like because i'll get into it with them sometimes i'm like not saying that i'm better than them but like i've booked a lot and sometimes these acting teachers are people who have never worked and they'll give you a note and you're like i hear what you're saying i think you're incorrect yeah yeah but i hear what you're saying whatever and they're like no you have to do this and i'm like well you've never worked so how are you going to tell me when i i'm a consistent working sometimes that's like that another actor telling me that forget it it'd be a fistfight no facts but then i just shut down i go okay yeah like i they there's a running joke in my class that like when everybody knows i shut down when i pull my ipad out i go oh there she is on her ipad because i'm like yeah because i you guys don't want it so i'm just going to sit here and get on my ipad and just be like okay whatever you say no i don't yeah because i'm like if i don't like it i'm not going to do it to you you know what i mean so i just sit there and i be quiet yeah i'm a watch yeah like i'm probably eating or on my ipad so definitely yeah definitely did you enjoy your time on power overall um power was a really great learning experience for me in what way i mean like that's different i mean like you like obviously this was fun but like i mean like the work part of it on set all the stuff after it like did you enjoy it or what didn't you enjoy what did you enjoy um no yeah i enjoyed my time i enjoyed living in a new city i enjoyed um the people that i met we definitely had fun our first season second season was rough for me and then third season was the most isolating season probably ever but like i feel like we had a great time and wait why was second season rough for you my godfather passed in the middle of filming so it just kind of you know yeah um it was it was it was hard but like living in new york was really fun i have fun with you guys like we have lots of memories um it was just it was good no yeah it was definitely a fun time like i wish it's something that like later on we can be one of those shows where we come back as adults and do just something stupid or fun you know like a like a one episode like something yeah just um to kind of relive it but yeah no the memories are are definitely at edward jones we believe rich is about taking care of what gives your life meaning that's why your financial advisor personalizes your plan to help you preserve your progress and create something that lasts let's find your rich edward jones member sipc amazing yeah so season three you felt isolated because your character was essentially hiding the whole season yeah and i definitely wanted to yeah shot him all alone or shot him with peyton and shane um and i definitely wanted to like you know at that point we're in new york i wanted to just be as quiet as possible so i would even try to like post things that like is in l.a when i'm clearly not in l.a i'm in new york you know i cut my hair i dyed my hair i'm no longer blonde because of it yeah i miss my blonde hair um so yeah that was like rough but then i had fun in like different aspects it just wasn't like turn up anymore you know what i mean it's like okay it's real chill and we were still doing those coveted tests and all the things so you got to be really careful all right yeah but um you guys weren't but yeah oh my gosh do you you weren't right with us yeah i know wait no not for season three i never saw you guys one time season one we talked about uh or or when we finished season one we talked about last episode with carmelo We talked about the yacht party, which Paige was at. Who's Carmelo? Carmelo. She was in Force. She played Tommy's love interest in Force. Okay, okay. She was our last episode. That was a fun party. Yeah, we talked about that. I will never forget. I see Michael just walking around this boat, whatever. And it's me, Paige, and Toya all sitting in a row. We're eating chicken wings. Do you remember this? And it is so packed in this boat. I've never seen anything more packed in my life. And mind you, we're getting COVID tested Monday, Wednesday, Friday, regardless. And then every day, a rapid test when we get to work. They are so strict. We're one of the first shows back. They're like, you guys have to quarantine, go right home. I will never forget seeing like 100 people on this yacht. Me and Paige and Toya are all like sardine, just eating chicken wings. And we're just looking at each other like, I hope someone here does not have COVID because we're all fucked. Yeah. You know, Toya don't play. So she had her mask on. Yeah. Like that was going to help in a sardine with 100 people. Toya had her mask on. Oh, my gosh. Because the night before we were out. Yeah. That was the night before, right? That was the night before, yeah. Because then we ran into 50. Yeah. And then we were all in there with 50 just partying and all the things. And where was your dinner prior? It was at, what was that spot? Taboo. It was good. Yeah. That's the hookah lounge? Yeah. Yeah. By Madison Square Garden. Yeah. That place. Is that still open? Yeah. Oh, that place is good. It's 50 spots. Oh, is it? Yeah. Okay. No, yeah. That was a fun birthday. That was a great one. And yeah. Also, you know what's so crazy? I never told you guys this, but do you know I got caught with my fake COVID card thing? Tell me what happened. Yeah. I won't say who, but one of our higher ups was like, hey, just so you know, like production does know that some of you have fake cards and I'm like, and I was like, oh my. Yeah. Who would do that? Gianni gave it to me. Go on the hot page. Don't fucking write me out here. I would never advocate for that. It was just a weird time. Some people didn't want to get it. Also, they were telling people you were going to, like, you might get fired. And I'm like, I don't want my friends to get fired. Like, so I just helped some people out. No, we appreciate it. But we all, we all did get vaxxed. You know, we just, we did. So, so after, after power airs, how did, how did that like fame change from what it was originally? Like, do you think people were sliding in your DMs? Like what kind of guys were? I mean, listen. Who's the biggest DM slide in page here it has gotten? I've seen some crazy ones. I don't, I don't snitch. That's a good, that was a test. I don't snitch, but I mean, it was too much. I would say that it was just too much. And it was like. It was like, ew. But like, I will also tell you, but I'll tell you a lot of, a lot of people did not get responded to like 99.9%. I'm not going to lie. I'm just kidding. That was a joke. I don't know if that's true. Like, how do you guess? How do you guess? Was that right? I was just kidding. I'm fucking with you. That was a joke. Oh my gosh. Yeah. But also. You didn't answer the ****, did you? Or just, you didn't. Bro, what the ****? No, I, the **** just slides in the line. Were you in my phone? No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But yeah, obviously, like, again, two shows in a row, you're people's celebrity crush now. You're getting a lot of DMs slid in. Yeah. But you didn't answer any of them. Nah. And then it was funny, too, because the musicians would just go a different route. Like, just like, oh, can we get her in the music video? No. No, you cannot. Ooh, a little question. Quavo? Quavo? No. Was it Quavo? No, that was Offside. But at the time he was married, and that was like a creative. Right, right, right, right. Like, that was actually a creative whole thing. I love that music video, by the way. You were amazing. No, yeah, it was good. Because at first I was like, no. Right. Because I didn't know what it was. But like, his creative team reached out, and it was actually very good. There was nothing in there where it was like, we're together. Yeah. So I was like, okay, cool. Like, we can act this thing out. Yeah. It was funny. I went the opposite route. When DaBaby called me, he's like, I'm going to have Sexy Red twerking on you in my music video. Of course. I said, brother, I'll be there at 8 a.m. He's like, you don't need to be there until noon. I was like, I'll be there at 7.30, actually. I was there early. I was sitting in the chair. I was like, getting ready for her to twerk on me. I was excited. But anyways, go on. What were you saying? Oh, my God. Who were in your DMs? Who were in y'all's DMs? Because you guys can talk about this. I wish it was something that girls can talk about, but it's not cute for us to talk about. Why could we talk about it? Boys can talk about it. It's great. But here's the thing. Women, celebrities, because they're so sought after, they don't really slide into male celebrity DMs. There are the exceptions, but men are thirsty. Men are like rappers and all this stuff. They'll fire off 80 DMs to 80 different girls that they watch on TV or whatever. That don't really happen. Sometimes. I've gotten a couple female rappers or female actors or this or that. I know my guys, too. I'm going to be getting them. I ain't going to lie. Yeah. Mike, but I mean, obviously, there's been stuff that's been posted of us out with certain people. But I don't know if they were sliding into your DMs, Mike. That was just on some shit of us being out and meeting them. Yeah. Some of it would be just being out. I will say the girls that you want to slide into your DMs never do. And the girls that you're like, ugh, they're in the DMs. Yeah. I don't think I've ever. I've never slid in a DM. Ever? No. Not to hit on somebody. It'd be to compliment them on their career or something. And then that's it. Growing up. But it's probably been two times that I've done that. Yeah. Two. To who? Like complimenting them. Yeah. I think I complimented. I don't even know his name, to be honest. But he was an athlete. And he really talked about God a lot on the field. And I was just like, it's really dope to see. Because we were young at the time. I was just really dope to see you honor God and kind of do that for this realm. Because I've never seen that in the athletic space. Right. And that was it. Tim Tebow? Ugh, I love Tim Tebow. Paige, don't play about God. Tim Tebow? I don't play about God, but I love Tim Tebow. No, I try to get involved in Tim Tebow's. He has a really good night that he does for adults and kids with special needs. It's like a prom night. But I don't think he has social media. But I would have said. Like, oh, my gosh, love what you do in that community. And for God, that would have been dope. But that's it. But, yeah, I've never slid in a DM and been like, yo, what's up? Drake? Never? None? No, Drake to me is like, I've known him since I was younger. And it would be just like a high buy. Like, almost like considerate. Like, he's not my family, but I would consider that. Yeah. Oh, my God. But, like, I don't. Sorry. Not to Drake. Like, he's not. Yeah, no. I don't like light-skinned men. Ah, fuck. All right. Well, we're going to end this podcast early. Um, did you have a celebrity crush going up or no? Um, yeah. Who was it? It was Eminem. What? Maybe we're not going to end the podcast early. Yay! Keep it going, boys! Wait, was Eminem really? Yeah. Dude, I'm in my whole Eminem fit. I got the Timbs on. We're rolling right now. It was Eminem and then at a point in time, which was actually hysterical, like in middle school, was 50. But Eminem, like, always was there. You liked white guys growing up, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Never dated them, but yeah. Yeah. That's interesting. Mike, who was your celebrity crush growing up? I don't think we, have we talked about this? Oh, no, man. Is it, is it Paige? Okay. Shut up. I mean, obviously one of them. Like, come on. Um, damn. I'll have to say Selena Gomez. Yeah. Like, back when I was like a little, you know. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Who else was some fine? You said back in the day. Dude, I was in Ashley Tisdale. That used to be on, um, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Vanessa Hudgens. Ashley Tisdale. Um, what's her name? Yeah. Brenda song. Yeah. Brenda song. That's beautiful. Dude, Vanessa Hudgens in high school musical. Bruh. Bruh. Who else was paying? I used to see her at Dog Pound. Yo, who was, who was on Amp Farm? Who was on Amp Farm? Amp Farm. Who was on Amp Farm? Kind of a claim? Yeah, yeah, yeah. She was paying back in the day. I knew she was paying back. When I was a young mom, I was like, hold on. I'm like, yo, who's that? That is so funny. Yeah, because he's younger. So, like, that would be his. Yeah, that actually makes sense. Yeah. That would make sense for him. Because I was about to be, like, Nia Long, Halle Berry, but that's going too old. Like, obviously, Michael knows who these things are. Not Nia Long. But no, for sure. She's, like, that would be, like, my age group of, like, guys that are my age. Like, oh, that's my childhood crush and all the things like that. And Topanga. Yeah. Boy Meets World. Topanga, yeah. You want to know the girl that I bought the Louis Vuitton bag that I was talking about earlier? Yeah, who is it? Was one of my childhood crushes. Childhood crushes from TV. Who was it? I'm not going to say it on a podcast. No, I'm just kidding. No, that's actually true. It was one of my childhood crushes I got her. Okay. Anyway. Yeah, Ashley Tisdale. She was fire. Vanessa Hudgens. But you don't go to Dog Pond anymore. Me and Paige used to go to the same gym. I used to time my workouts in. I would text my trainer and be like, what time is Vanessa coming in? I'm crying. And he would be like, she's in it, too. I was like, all right, put me in it, too. And I was just like, hey, what up? I got to talk to her. And then she started dating the baseball player. Oh, did he go there? Now they're married with two kids. I don't know. I think he was playing baseball at the time. Okay, okay. We're just both fucked. Yeah. This is crazy. We got real problems. Anyway, so what's life right now? You're engaged. You're living in Arizona. Yeah. I'm planning my wedding. Oh, how's that been? It's fun. Are we coming? I don't even think you guys would want to be there. You already sent the invitations out and we didn't get them. That's fun, though. They come out in March. Okay, Mike. Okay, let me ask you something. Now let me ask you both something. And don't laugh and don't try to divert. All right, Mike, don't wait. When's the last time I spoke to you, Michael? Think about it. When's the last time I spoke to you, G? Before I ask you about this podcast. We talked like three, four months ago. Paige, don't make me pull up text messages. Please do. Go for it. You didn't even have my number. Mike, you talk like, oh, I actually didn't have your new number. But you took me off your close friends. Mike, a fan told me you've unfollowed me. I'm like, what did I do to these people? So when Gianni hit me up to come on this, I said, are you guys sure you want me to come on? Because I'm confused. Paris Fashion Week, I said. Oh, I hit you up. No, no, no. Yes, I did. No, no, no, no, no, no. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. I said, oh, my gosh, you're here. Nope. You posted in Paris. I said, question mark, question mark, question mark. You said words. I said, what's your plan this week? I said, I didn't even know you were coming to Paris Fashion Week. And you said, what you're doing, I'm going to see at the Amiri party. And then I hit you at the Amiri party. I came. First of all, I came. I came and asked everybody in Amiri and asked Royce, my fiance. I said, Michael and Gianni are here. I'll be right back. I'm going to take a lap. I'm going to bring them over here. I took a full lap. Y'all's homeboys was still there. You guys were gone. We were with some too fine shit. We dipped down there. Well, you guys should have stayed to say hi. So shows that you didn't necessarily want to say hi or see me. That's not true. Because then it's funny because I saw Michael at the Amiri show, but I couldn't, by the time I was trying to. He did not see me. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. So where are the problems? What you saw me doing, you didn't see me. Can I finish my story? Now, you know the way the show was. I was way on this side. When the show ended, Mike was way on the other side of the room. By the time I tried to get through, gone. I'm like, where the heck is he? I mean, it was hectic. I mean, you can literally see. A girl literally just tagged us. In the photos, we're literally at the same show. And so I'm like, yes. But mind you, I've never been to Fashion Week in my life. So I'm trying to get over there to say hi. By the time I get over there, it's gone. Because where we were sitting was crazy. And I missed him. So then when you said you guys were going to go to the party, I said, okay, great. I'll see them at the party. Missed you there. So I'm like, okay. But again. Did you get to see him at the party? I don't remember. I just remember because I drank that night. And when I drink, my phone disappears. And I don't really drink that much. So when I start drinking, my phone disappears. I'm usually so good on my phone. You know me. I tick back immediately. When I start drinking, my phone disappears. So I started drinking at the Amiri party. And then I don't remember what happened. We went to the club. It was wild. Nice. We got some pretty. I got to do some fun shit that night. That was top five for sure. Look, here's the thing. And we could cut this. We could not or whatever. I think personally, I don't love. When because I've never met your fiance, he could be the coolest guy in the world. I don't love the idea of me being like hitting you up and be like, Hey, what's up? Like, what's going on? I don't know what he's thinking. I don't know if you feel me without respect and say, you get what I mean? Like I have, I'm having also this kind of actually ties into like Paige thinking like I'm sick of being someone's girl. Maybe that's the theme of this episode. Paige is no longer somebody's girl. Okay. She is Paige motherfucking hurt. Anyways. I just don't like the, the thing of me. Hitting you up and be like, Hey, like you're at Paris fashion week. And then, cause I know how I feel sometimes as a man be like, why is this guy on this TV show? I'm like, you know what I mean? So I don't want him to feel like that. I'm doing that to you. That's why I would like to meet him first and then be like, no, like Paige is a homie. I don't want him to think that that's what I'm doing. That's me personally, my brain around not hitting you up or texting you or whatever. Also the close friends thing. There were, there was a lot of wild shit going on and I enjoyed it. Did you, I always responded. Didn't I? I don't really remember. I was like, this is good. Keep it going. Sometimes I get in my head where I'm like, Oh, I don't know if I want that person to see this. Oh shit. You don't follow me. I can't be on your close friends. If you don't follow me. Like follow her background. No, please don't. Please don't stay where you're at. It's totally fine. He wasn't. No. Yes, I was. I love when you guys, I mean, I don't love it, but I love when you guys act up. It's hilarious to me. And I'd just be cracking up. You guys be so bad. Yeah. So that's, that's my psyche behind it. It has nothing to do with me. It has nothing to do with you. I promise. I don't know why Michael unfollowed you. Michael, you're going to have to, that's, that's you got in Paige's conversation. I don't know. Like the thing, the thing, like, I don't know. Instagram be tripping. I don't know. You know. Instagram be tripping is so good. You guys did not bring me on this podcast to play in my face. I know you did. We're not playing in your face. I just told you honestly how I feel. I want to meet your, I want to meet your fiance and I want to like, you know what I mean? Let's go to a son's game, you know? Well, come on down to Phoenix. All right. I'd be down for that. Let's do that, Mike. At Edward Jones, we believe rich is about taking care of what gives your life meaning. That's why your financial advisor personalizes your plan to help you preserve your progress and create something that lasts. Let's find your rich. Yeah, let's do it. Honestly, this went way better than I thought. This was the most fun I got to talk about. Cradle to grave. Paige, celebrity crush growing up. This was, this was the most fun. This was the most fun hour I've had in a long time. Really? Yes. Is there anything else that you want to touch on, talk about? Because this is, this is your hour, Paige. If you want to keep going. I thought you guys were going to ask me some more juicy stuff. You got it. What, what juicy stuff? I don't know. I don't have anything juicy. I'm boring. Yeah, that's what I know. Like you're, you're not like crazy like that. I just, there's like a couple like maybe stuff growing up of like, what's the craziest thing that like you witnessed as a child actor? Like being out at a party or seeing stuff. Like, I don't know. Like, that's the stuff that like a lot of people want to hear. What is the craziest thing you witnessed while we were filming the whole, like whatever, two years? Because it was some crazy shit. He's not asking the real juicy shit. That's what she's talking about. She's talking about all the crazy shit. Come on, bro. That you're allowed to say, I guess. Right. That I'm allowed to say. I mean, you guys were always my crazy stuff. You guys were my entertainment. You guys were definitely my entertainment. That's all we were. And yeah, that's all you were. That's all you were. No, you guys were hilarious to me. And then like, I feel like I was involved in most of it. So all the crazy stuff I would see was the stuff that we would get involved in and just like all the stuff and Michael and, and then you and your close friends and like just the good stuff. The boys are unbanned from catch steak. If you're wondering now, they let us back. Yeah. What's the craziest thing you saw growing up? Like, did you ever see anything wild at like, uh, did you ever go to like the, the, the Hollywood parties or like stuff where like, like Zach Efron throwing a party? Like, are you there? No, no, no, no. I was like, uh, I was kept in the house a lot, so I didn't go out a lot. Um, and I didn't go to any like crazy parties. Oh, I will say, I will say when I was older, by the time I was an adult and I could do this, I'm living on my own. I go to a party. I would think the craziest thing for me. And then I would go to a party. And this is not crazy probably for anybody else in Hollywood, but like, I actually saw like the lines of cocaine just like laid out on the table for people. And I'm like, oh, this is real. Like, this is so, this is so crazy and real. I like walk through the kitchen and it's just there and like, like a little dollar bill. Like, it's like a little party favor for people. And then like, they were taking people's phones and I was like, absolutely not. You will not take my phone. And so then the host of the party was like, okay, she can keep her phone. Cause I think everybody just knows. I'm just like, what am I going to do? And then I went and sat in the corner and people watched. I like people watching. So, but that was probably the only craziest thing that I've seen. I don't really put myself in positions to be out and stuff like that. I just like to hear the stories from all my people. What a time. What a time we have. But we're all, we'll all get back together soon. Hopefully at Paige's wedding, if we get the invite. But is there anything that you want to plug? Anything, your Instagram, all of it? No, you guys know what it is. You guys know what it is. Thugging. Yeah, you know what it is. There's no business ventures at the moment. I got to find some stuff. I have a lot of things I want to do, but I just have to like. Yeah, what's some passions that you've been? Like I really want to do, I really want to do like a boy clothing line for women. Oh, I see what you're saying. Cause you know how I love to wear like my boy clothes. I just need, like you guys get the best clothes ever. And I just need to make that like for my size. Cause it needs to be able to fit. So I'll like try to go out in the boy clothes, but then it's like, okay, that's too oversized. You need to like tailor it to your body. Right. Right. So I kind of want to do something like that. And then like, I'm just ready to get back to work. Yeah. Ready to get back to work and see what that looks like. And hopefully it's not being somebody's girl. Yeah. Paige is not anyone's girl anymore. Yeah. I'm tired of it. Yeah. My mom texted me right before the podcast and she said, tell Paige I love her. I said, oh my gosh, tell her. I said, I love her too. And I hope you're not cussing in front of her anymore. I sometimes, but when it's needed. It's never needed in front of your parents. She's right. You too, Michael. Tell your mom I said hi. And you just. Stop cussing in front of her too. You guys are bad. I don't even curse. i hope you do like a little replay of all the times he's cursed during this podcast i cuss yeah oh i cuss but then you know i'm mad yeah yeah i cuss when i'm mad that's a good point um all right um i want to plug uh macro fit fitness it's my new uh business that i'm doing home fit gym we're selling pilates uh flexia pilates machines like we're we're going so follow that instagram macro fit fitness get a fit home gym that's why the kid is looking actually have wool right now you need to go ahead and send me okay go ahead and send one to my house too to the one in arizona yeah all right i'll send him the dips on that bitch all type of shit yeah post a story for michael tag the business you didn't do i got i'm just kidding i'm just kidding um at michael rainey jr on instagram at thugging at gianni v paolo um i'm trying to think if there's anything else michael you want to give us one um "the crew has it and you have it as well" the crew has it and you have it paige heard we love you thank you so much for going on you didn't want to see me in fashion week but it's all fine last one to the airport buying breakfast day one day one at edward jones we believe rich is about taking care of what gives your life meaning that's why your financial advisor personalizes your plan to help you preserve your progress and create something that lasts let's find your rich edward jones member sipc
