Paige DeSorbo | Khloé in Wonder Land

Chloe and Paige engage in a warm, conversational episode of *Chloe in Wonderland*, sharing personal insights about friendship, family, and life transitions. They celebrate their deep bond, rooted in mutual admiration and shared experiences in the entertainment world. The conversation explores how relationships evolve over time, especially through family bonds—highlighting the strength of sibling ties and the emotional significance of growing up with parents who have shaped their values. They discuss pet ownership, particularly their love for cats, and the practical challenges like mess and grooming, which led to new habits like using Dyson vacuums. A key theme is generational differences in social behavior, with Gen Z’s casual, relaxed approach to interviews contrasting with millennial formality. Both emphasize self-care, sharing routines like micro-needling, meditation, and wellness supplements to manage stress. They also reflect on motherhood, expressing excitement about becoming parents and the importance of balancing personal growth with family life. The episode reflects on modern challenges—such as environmental toxins and digital overload—and how individuals are turning to holistic solutions to maintain health and well-being. Ultimately, the conversation balances humor, vulnerability, and practical life advice, showcasing a relatable, down-to-earth perspective on navigating adulthood, relationships, and self-discovery.

Welcome back to a new season of Chloe in Wonderland. I am so excited that I get to kick off my premiere episode with Paige de Sorbo. If you guys don't know who she is, she is a fashion girly, she's an entrepreneur, she's a cat momma, she has her own podcast, The Giggly Squad, and she is just going to be your ultimate best friend. And she is that girl, she is just my BFF at this point, she really is, and we are talking about everything just silly and lighthearted and fun, and when I tell you, I've been hysterically laughing this entire episode, I mean it, and I know you guys will too. And I cannot wait for you guys to tune in, first episode, new season of Chloe in Wonderland. Make sure you guys like and subscribe on YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts, so you don't miss any episodes. I'm so excited for this. I feel like you don't get that we really are best friends. No, okay, do you want to know what solidified it for me? Tell me. Last night, I'm getting a spray tan. Jenny. Yes, stop. Yes, I go, I'm going, I'm doing Chloe's podcast tomorrow, she goes, she's the best. And can I tell you, and I'm not, I feel like I did the same thing when I did Morgan Stewart's podcast, I'm not just like gasing you up because I'm sitting here. I've never heard a bad thing about you like ever in any like work situation. That's nice. Everyone always speaks so highly of you. No one read my comments, but that's really sweet. No, and I think it's like so important in like the work area, like everyone always says you meet every production person. You remember things about them. I'm like, that's so nice. It is so nice and I'm a big believer in that like word travels fast. I don't care how big people want to say Hollywood is. It's small. And it travels fast. Same people you see going up, you're going to see going down and we all have to do both. Right. And I feel like I started out as someone's assistant and I feel like. Same. Now I see, I'm like, oh my god, we were assistants together. Yeah, you're in charge. I'm so proud of you. Yes. And it's like, if I was mean to that person 10 years ago, she could really fuck me now. Yeah. Hello. No, it's so true. Do you know Simon Huck? Yes. Simon and I were both assistants many moons ago. Yeah. And we're both so fucking fabulous now. He's so nice too. He's the best. I love him. I met him when I did like those little videos with Courtney. Oh, yes. Yeah, yeah, duh. I forget you did that. Yeah. I'm just pretending that I know you met Kendall before me, but I still just fantasizing. It's me and you. No, I think it is. It is. I feel like we just make more sense. Yeah, we do. And also, I'm like obviously in the OG Kardashian stand, you've always been the funniest. You know, like I love the other girls. No, I get it. The humor without me. What are they doing? No, you and Rob. The funniest. No, Rob is the best. And he just says the crazy is shit. He does. Is he going to come back to the show? I hope so. He goes back and forth. Yeah. I really hope so. I think we need more masculine energy. No, his humor is, it's different. Yeah, it is. You need it for, because it's like so much girly humor, which obviously I love, but sometimes like when my brother will say something, I'm like, yeah, that's so much funnier, but I feel like I can't. How many brothers do you have? I just have one older brother. Yeah. The best. Yeah. It really is. I love having a brother. Do you have any sisters? I don't. So it's just you and him. Just me and him. Okay. Yeah. And I have one in the freezer. She's on ice, but I just don't know. I think girls need a sister, but am I just programmed to think that? I want you to have another baby. Regardless. Thank you. But I was for helping me with this decision. I'm like, they didn't make it easier. And I think, I think being close with your siblings is honestly like a testament to you. Your parents. Yes. Because I know a lot of siblings who like don't even speak and I'm like, hate each other. Yeah. I couldn't imagine. I do feel like I'm closer to my brother than some sisters are. And I think it's like truly how you're like nature versus nurture. You know, like some kids might just like not get along. They're all agree. But I do agree. Yeah. The parents like you have to encourage that and sort of push them to get that bond because it's not going to happen organically at first. Growing up, like if me and my brother were ever fighting, I'm not going to say the people's last name, but you would always say, you're acting like the so-and-so's. And that's not who we are. You love your sibling. That's the only person going to look out for you. They say the same thing. And now as an adult, of course, I love my girlfriends. But at the end of the day, once my parents aren't here anymore, I'm like, yeah, my brother is really the only one who I think genuinely has my back forever. Yeah. Nothing like that. And we've, me and my Kardashian siblings have lost our dad. And I think we learn that at such a young age, like no one just even gets this. Like we do. And that, that losing our dad definitely made us closer together, which is also a beautiful thing. Yeah. Because it does tear some people apart. But I. There are times though that I long for a sister. Yeah. You know, like I. I like it. Somewhere and I'm like, if my girlfriend can't come, I'm like, oh, if I had a sister, she would. Oh, the trouble. Sisters get into. I'm sure Rob is like, I wish I had a fucking brother. You guys are all nuts. But I think that's why he falls in love with our significant others so much and so easily. But oh my gosh, the things that if these walls could talk with me and my sisters, it's sometimes good. And sometimes we get into more trouble because you have that BFF to do shady shit. That's going to take it to the grave. I have a list like in my phone of I've had it since I was like 20 of things I wanted in a guy. Okay. In a future husband. The top on the list is has to get along with my brother. Yes. And I one time was dating this guy and I don't know, I was like home for like Thanksgiving or Christmas or something and my brother looked at me and he just goes, please don't do this to me. No, no. He goes, think about like when we have kids, we won't be able to go on vacation together. But that's true. So yeah, if you don't get along with my siblings, you're sort of out of here. Yeah. Cause I'm like, well, then we don't think they're funny. Right. You don't think we're fucking amazing. And my brother's fiance, I feel like her love. She doesn't have a sister. That's special. I don't have a sister. The other day I called, I went to FaceTime her. She's a teacher and she just started school and so I went to FaceTime her and she was at my mom's house. And I was like, oh my God, I was just calling to check in on my sister. But that is. It is. Like your sister. I love sister. Yeah. So I feel like I'm. True can still have that. Yeah. She can. Yeah. Without the freezer baby. Okay. So what I need to ask you about, so I do have two cats. Yes. True has their Russian blues. I've never had a cat before at these cats. So now True is dying for another cat. She wants a rag doll, which I know is Daphne. How are they? They're the best. That's what I read. They're like puppies. Yes. They are the best for kids too. My cousin has three little kids and they do whatever they want to this cat. Yeah. And also rag dolls sleep 22 hours of the day. Love it. I need that. So like even if your children are playing with the cat, she's asleep. Yeah. She doesn't do whatever you want. The only thing with rag dolls is, and I feel like you're similar to me, and like I like a clean home. The hair. It's everywhere. So that's what I was thinking about. Like I had to buy a secondary Dyson to put in another room because I'm like, I can't, I can't do this. So that or feel like a British short hair, look, because they don't have a rag doll short hair. No, they don't have a rag doll short hair. Or a breeder. But no, I know they don't have short hair. And the British short hairs though, I think they're cute, but are they like nice? I don't know. Kylie has six or seven of them. No, not even joking. Wait, and how many dogs does she have? Well, she used to have, I think like 13. No. And then RIP to Norman. So how is she vacuuming? How is she doing that? She's not vacuuming. Like are we okay? Kylie Lipkit Jenner is not vacuuming, but how does she live with that? Like she, it must annoy her. Does she ever say? No. Kylie is like in a different land of happiness and princesses. Like Holly Pops and Remy. Yeah. And I love that. And I think the hair is like, look loud. Yeah. She's like cute. Like, she loves it. Cute. So I think in her trauma of Normie's passing, she bought about six, maybe seven. And I will say once you have one, you're like, I need another cat. I have two. And I'm like, what is happening to me? I've never even had a cat. And now I need to have a third for Christmas. What's going on? I never had a cat either. I had like, but also, I don't want to say I had dogs growing up because I had poodles. - Yeah. - That's exactly like I had like. - Shman seats. - German shepherds running around. - They're not real dogs. - Right, so they are similar to cats, and also I feel like cats are very spiritual. - They are. - And also they say that white cats. - Ooh. - Extra spiritual? - No, I didn't hear this. - I don't know why, but there is something, like when your cat comes and like actively looks for you in the house and wants to like lay on your chest. I'm like, it's amazing. - Yeah, I'm like, I have to choose. - Do you think they know bad energy? - I think cats, yes. And more so than dogs. Like I feel like dogs after a certain time, it's like if you have a cheeseburger, yeah, they're gonna love you. - They love you. - Where like my cat has known my boyfriend now for over a year, and she's still like assassin. You know? - They are the very terrorists warrior. - I went as far as getting a cat psychic. - No. - Because my boyfriend has a dog. - Okay. - I need to know what Daphne thinks about the dog. And I mean, the cats I get could have been saying anything. - Like did she know your boyfriend had a dog? - I told you. - I did. - Why did you do that? - I should have. - But the way she answered, I believe it was real. - No, we believe it. - Because she said Daphne finds this dog to be temporary. Like the dog is not. - We're getting rid of the dog. - Yeah, the dog is gonna be here forever. - And I'm like, well, the dog is actually older than Daphne. And I'm like, no, she knew. And then she said that- - They'll put them in a room together. - She said the dog is like always trying to be friends with Daphne and Daphne will say to the dog verbatim in her head, get a life. - Yep. - And I'm like, no, that's my cat and that psychic was right. - Yeah. - She's right. It sounds like Daphne. - Are you down any rabbit holes? - Ooh, like on TikTok? - Yeah, anything. I love a rabbit hole. Sometimes I put in the search bar, current rabbit holes just to see. - And you just go. - I just go. - Like conspiracy theories or just like hobbies? - No. - No, I don't even know what that means. But conspiracies are like, somehow on one of the things was like Anne Marie's divorce. And I'm like, cool. I don't know who Anne Marie is, but I'm now on a 23 TikTok story of her divorce. And I was so into it. - Who is she? - She was a girl. She is a girl that was married to another girl who was then having sex with their mutual best friend. - I saw this. - Yeah, okay. - I saw this. - See this hole. - Okay. - And it was like a whole, she's trying to gaslight her, yes. She's trying to gaslight her that this isn't happening, trying to like, it was the whole thing, but I was really into it. - I recently just saw and tell me what you think. It was like, Gen Z. - What do you think about Gen Z? - I can't even talk about it. It's like we're really dark and just like, can we get our shit together a little bit? Just a smidge. - Okay, so there's a debate that Gen Z had like put forth. If you go to a job interview, can you bring an ice coffee? - Okay. - And I feel all the millennials were like, disrespectful. No, like you need to be totally dialed in. And Gen Z was kind of like, this is why we can't get jobs. - Well, they wanna go in problem, 'cause I have like my water job. I never even knew about water until I got into like my 30s. So now everyone has a fucking jug everywhere they go. And then what they're gonna bring, they need more fucking room at an interview. You bring your body, you bring a resume, I don't even know if there's resumes anymore, but you do what you gotta do. - Yeah, they're like trying, yeah. But yeah, I can't stand it. - No, I feel the same. - I said, if I'm going in for an interview, I'm not bringing a nice coffee. - Me neither. - But if I'm interviewing someone and she has a nice coffee, I'm not not hiring her. - No, I wouldn't not hire her, but I would be like, you're holding your hand with your dominant hand. That's the same hand you're gonna shake someone's hand with. It's now all moist, and gross. And then I'm like, sorry. And then you're dry, what is happening here? It just shows like you're sloppy. - Yeah, okay, that was my recent TikTok hole. - Okay. Really? - I didn't even, I've never been on that side of TikTok before. - Well, everyone was then, I felt old because all the Gen Z were then asking their moms. - Oh, you think. - And I'm like, no, I hate this. - I hate this. - I hate this, right now. - Are there any, I mean, the Gen Z terms, that's like a bad question, but are there any millennial terms that you will not get rid of? - All of them. Like Gen Z being like, you guys don't have to keep saying LOL. - I was just gonna say that. What the fuck do you mean? - I mean, but I feel safe. - Yeah. - I want you to know my tone. - And LOL. - I am LOL right now. - Yeah. - So I don't subscribe to that. - Okay, good, me neither. Cancel subscription. - Okay, real talk for a second. If you tried everything to lose weight and you still feel stuck, I want you to hear this. Can I say one other thing about you? - Obviously. - You also make me very excited to be a mom. - Thank you. - You know, I feel like I met Morgan Stewart a year ago and I feel like, I feel like you hit a point sometimes in your 30s where you're like, oh, am I not gonna make friends again? - Probably not. - Like, you feel like, oh, no, I've hit my quota. These are my friends. They've been my friends for whatever, and of course I love my friends. But then I feel like you meet other people later in your 30s or whatever, and you get excited. So like, when I met Morgan, I was very excited. So I was like, oh, I feel like you're gonna be my friend. And I feel the same way with you. - We're best friends. - We're like, you. - Yeah, you're still not getting it. We're best friends. - I'm like, I want to be the kind of mom flowing in. - And I talk to Morgan this morning. - I love Morgan. - I love Morgan. - Oh my God, the three of us. - No, I can't. - Let's go to dinner. - No, and also because I feel like whenever I'm with Morgan, there's a lot of people around us. And I can feel her wanting to gossip more. - Oh, no, it's amazing. - And I'm actually seeing her tonight. - Oh my God. - So I feel like I have like the list of things where I'm like, I feel like we could gossip about this. - There's your comments. - She's insane at gossip in the best way possible. - In the best way. - In the best. - Because she says something, and then she looks at you to see like, are you gonna say something? - Right. - And I love that energy. - And I think everyone at someone talk faster. like it just whatever. She just knows everything. It's crazy. - And your book, Gemini's, right? - No, I'm a cancer. - You are. - I am. But why did I think you were a Gemini? - Went to your birthday, June 27th. - Oh, okay. - But I am a cancer that has, I think the world has made my zodiac sign a little tougher. Like I'm not as sensitive as most, I'm not really very sensitive at all. Alex is probably dying like you don't ever show a motion. - Well, they say Scorpios get along the most with cancers. I do my mom, Kendall, my stepdad, they're all Scorpios. My ex has been like, I love a Scorpio. - Wow. See, I feel like I don't, I dated one Scorpio once. The Scorpio men, scary. - Yeah, scary. - They're like really scary. - Scary and Scorpio and Scorpio is wild. - My mom and dad are both Scorpios. - Oh, wow. - And then it's me and my brother is a cancer. - No. - Like now I'm like look back at growing up and I'm like, wait, were we mean to you? - Oh, no, and a boy, cancer is like a different beast. - Very sensitive. I will insult my brother like on a random Tuesday and I'm not kidding, three years later. - He writes it down. - Yeah. - I was like, do you remember on Thanksgiving of '20, it was heaven when you said, I'm like, no, why would I remember? - No, I'll never forget. - I never. - It genuinely, it took that many years to be able to confront you. - Yeah. - Yes. - And he's the sweetest. - Aw, you have fucked his soul. - No. - You really have. - Okay, what is your death row meal? And you didn't compliment how pretty my glasses are. - Is this what you're gonna say, is this a mermaid? - Well, I have specific, I don't know, but Kim and I went to Monaco and we saw these. I was, wow, I love these as well. I said and she got them for me for my birthday. - That is so sweet. - And you're the first person I'm using. - No, I love them. - Do you cook? - You know, I just bought a crock pot and it's changed my whole life. - They're so easy. - Nope. - I mean, air fryer, you have to get an air fryer. - I have an air fryer. - Okay. - I just made a pot roast. - I don't think I've ever done that. So, wow. - It was raining last Sunday. - Okay. - Like, football's on in the background. I was like, what else am I gonna do but make a pot roast? - Yeah. - It's crazy. - So I made that and it's changed my whole life. - Wow. - Like, I'm leaving here and I can't stop thinking about the Buffalo chicken wing dip. I'm gonna make this weekend. - Oh, you are advanced. - Yeah. - Okay. - Going from nothing to. - No. - From never cooking to that. Okay. My death row meal is definitely something my mom makes. My mom is like an amazing cook. She doesn't. She only really cooks Italian food though. But she makes veal and peppers and then her eggplant parm. I think would be my death row meal. - Something that, no, I'm pivoting. You just have me thinking that I loved. I've heard you say in the past somewhere. I just, it's so true and I'm paraphrasing you but something like, it's so scary. No one talks about growing up and leaving your family and starting your own family. And people don't talk about that as much. But it's also a testament to how great your family is. You're like, why the hell would I wanna start my own? This is how great mine is. - Yeah. - And I feel the same with mine. Like, you have to join mine. I'm probably not gonna join yours. - Yeah. - So like, I'm telling you now, if you wanna come over here, great, we can go do some things with you guys but all the main holidays are ours. - Right, like we'll see you guys some time. - Some time. - Of course you'll know my children. - Yeah, but not. - But like, I'm going Christmas morning. - I'm going with my mom. - Okay, I'm going with my parents. - Yeah. - Like, I feel like Italian and Armenian is very similar. And I also feel like I'm the girl. So like, you come into my family. - Our brothers. - Go. - Oh no. - Oh, stay. - Yeah, okay. - You're a new sister. - Come on over. - But I feel like if my brother was like, hey, I have to go to my wife's family. It's for Christmas. I'd be like. - I guess I might get that. - Like, yeah, she's the girl, go. But with me, and I'm dating an Italian guy and his sister actually said to me one time, like, if you guys are always with your family, I get it. And I was like, it's nice. - Yes, we have to have that balance. Like, I'm not leaving my mom. - And do you get along with her? 'Cause there's another sister. - Yes, he has two sisters. And I love that. - You have a hundred sisters. - I think I'm married. - Yeah, I feel like you're good now. So there is hope, true. That's all I have to keep reminding myself. - But I also always felt like when I would say that, I felt like baby-ish and like immature. Like, oh, you don't want to like leave your parents. And I'm like, well, no, why would I leave them? - I never thought it was so, oh, what is that? I thought it was so vulnerable and beautiful and also hearing that perspective. I was like, right, I think we're conditioned to never say something like that. And oh, the woman has to get married and you're just by. - Yeah. - Then I have to do all these responsible things. I'm like, but now I'm like, I don't think I would even think about changing my name, my last name. - It's crazy when you get older, right? - Yeah, I'm like, we know. - I used to be so excited to be, I used to tell my mom, like, I'm not always gonna have this last name. - Yeah. - And she'd be like, okay. - Okay. - Sure. - No, 33, she's like, I feel like you are. - No, but I feel the same. I'm like, what is all this? - Also, I feel like when you get into a certain age and you're not like going out as much, just like on the weekends, I went with your friends, you see your family in a different light. Like my dad, I think genuinely is the best person to have a cocktail with. Like, I find him so much more fun to be like, out at a dinner drinking with, then like, half my friends, you know? - I like hanging out with my family is what I could do all night and day. It's the best. - Like, we go on a family vacation every year to Italy. We go to the same place because my dad's like, why would we try somewhere else if we love it here? - But I'm sort of, I have that similar mentality. - You do. - I have limited time of a vacation. Why are we experimenting? If I don't know if I'm gonna like it or not. - Right, yeah. - No, I get that. And sometimes I'll be like, okay, but we can just go here for the day and see it. And he's like, fine. But like, I wanna go to the place that I like in Italy. And so we, everyone thinks we're crazy. Like, we go for like two and a half weeks. - Oh, I love that. - And so many people will be like, how are you with your family that long? And I'm like, it's not enough time. - Well, I grew up in their homes. - Right. - I like, so I like it here. - Yeah, so I do like it here. - Wait, do you wanna have kids? - I do. - You do, 'cause you said I make you excited to get kids. I think you would be the best mom and having kids is like, like you said about Morgan, like it doesn't change anything. - Yeah. - You have to learn how to juggle it all. - Yeah. - But once you do, you're like, okay, I got this. I think the beginning six months, you're like, what did I do? - Yeah. - I wanna die. This is crazy. - Well, I think you and your sisters are like, just the perfect example of, no, you still like have a career. You're still really hot. Like you don't die after you have a baby. - No. - But I feel like sometimes society is very much, like have a baby, have a baby, and then when they do, they're like, shut up. - Yeah. - Oh my God, and I've had jobs when I got pregnant. They were questioning, are you sure you're coming back or doing it? I was like, what year is this? - Yeah. It's crazy. - It is crazy, but don't let other people tell you otherwise and do it on your own time. We live so much longer now, there's no rush to have kids anymore, 'cause it does change different dynamics and like you even going away for two and a half weeks, not that you can't do that, but then you're like, lugging more people. But it's all doable. - And I do feel like I will be the kind of person that when I do have a baby, what I'm doing now, of course I love it. I do just feel like in my gut, I'm gonna be like, okay, but now I'm obsessed with this small human that I've made and I don't care about this other stuff. So I almost feel like I want to be over the other stuff before I do it. - Yeah. - 'Cause I do feel like-- - Oh no, and you're-- - And I can assume me. - It will. And I think enjoy the ride that you're on and like behead first here. You have years until you need to have a baby. - I froze my eggs. - That's the most important part. - Which I honestly loved. - Yeah, it's period. - Did? I called Hannah and I go, I think I have a hormonal imbalance because these shots make me feel on top of the world. - You might. - No, I think I do. - 'Cause those shots were sociopathic. - No, pumping myself full of estrogen and I was like, I'm glowing. - Yeah, I'm glowing. - I love this, your hair's great. - I was walking to the building to like get them taken out and I'm like, my stomach is like swollen. Anyone on that street could have come up to me and I would have killed them. Like I felt, I was like holding my stomach. I felt, I was like my eggs are all right here. Don't even look at me. - I felt so maternal. Like I really felt. - You're gonna be a fucking lioness. - And a so funny. - Then when they took them out, I did crash. - I was like, no, I have a hormonal imbalance. - You might need to do it. - I need to get that checked for sure. - But I was the only thing with that was you're just like swollen a little after and like tender. - Yeah, but it is easy. It's just more, the shots affect different people. Like I hated it. - Yeah. - But it was more how like you did look like three months pregnant sometimes. It's crazy. - You might like face got swollen. - That's the part is the part. And when you see like gorgeous pregnant people and like are we? - Well. - Well, this is like fucked. What is your ideal amount of plans in a week? - Going non. - Non, right? - Like none. - But you work a lot. And I know that's not considered plans. Like that's what you've got to do. - It's socializing for sure, you know? - It's like energy draining. - You have to be on. There are like, okay, last weekend is a perfect example. I've like, I feel like I sound like Courtney. I've gotten glam every day, the month of September, and I can't do it anymore. - No, but I get that. Because I like don't talk to me on a weekend. - No, I literally said to my boyfriend, I said, I am so sorry, but I need you to leave me alone all of Saturday, like go do whatever, go golf. I have to be nonverbal for at least 11 hours. - That is me, I recharge. - Yeah, I have to. - Like people think, oh, is something wrong with her? I'm like, no, I need a loan time. - Yeah. - No, I'm so overstimulated in all that we do all the time. That sometimes I just need everyone to shut the fuck up and leave me alone. I want to veg out, I don't want to watch anything smart. - Yeah. - What do you watch? It's like your vibe. - Okay, it goes all over the place. I'm a huge bravo junkie, so I do love bravo. I watch. - Are you housewives or are you like everything? - I am. - Have you watched Next Jan? - A little. - But what I saw I was really into. - Nope, I'm really into that. - I don't know what it is, but they're a great cast. - They're so cute together, I really am into it. But I need to watch the whole season. I just haven't had time. I'm not really like a top chef person. - Yeah. - I'll watch it in the background. So I need a little more drama. - Yeah. - A little more drama. - Okay, I have one for you. - Tell me. - Real housewives of London. - It's only on T-Cock. - Oh my God, fucking love them. - Nope, the fucking, who's the blonde? - I need to text. - That wears the pink all the time. - Amanda. - Love her shoes. - I need to text Andy, 'cause I'm like, wait, why isn't real housewives of London on regular bravo? - What is that? I don't know. - Love that. I'm also, I was re-watching housewives of no-born. - I've been watching it for years. - It was on TV the other day for, I think like a Saturday. - Yeah. - And then I was like, wait, I need to go into the vault and pull this up and it is so unhinged. - I think it's their accents make it better. - It does. - It's amazing. - And real housewives of London, I'm like, yeah, I wanna watch people fight about whether or not you were truly invited to Buckingham Palace. - Yes. - Like that's the drama. - Or if you're really the sole owner of this castle. I'm like, obviously. - And like, you borrow dresses? - Barrow, yeah. - Barrow, like, it's crazy. - No, I love it. - But I do love documentaries. I just watched the one about something about the pastor's wife. - Yeah, that was crazy. - That was crazy. - Okay, I couldn't watch once I got on reality TV 'cause I watched every single thing on bravo. Then the minute I was on bravo, I like, I couldn't watch, 'cause you see. - I don't know. - I don't know. - I don't know what it was. It made me just like, immediately anxious. I think I would think, like, oh, we just wrapped filming. Did I, like, sound like her? Like, did I say this? Like, did I, you know? And as of, like, two or three months ago, I'm back. - Yeah. - And it's so bad. - And it's so bad. - You needed a break. - I needed, like, a small break. - So what were you watching? - Everything scripted. - Oh. - And like, I was like, nothing, so I didn't see anything. - I know. - Scripted is great, but sometimes you need the drama. - Yeah, I need the drama. - Just watched Emmy Rossum's Furious on Hulu. - I haven't seen it. - So good. - So good. - Do you like a period piece? - Yeah. - I love a period piece. - I do. - So did you watch Gilded Age? - Nope. - Oh, my daughter will come and sleep with me. - Yeah. - I can't watch anything. - Yeah. - Like, I'm, - Wait, I love that she comes and sleeps with you. - Yes, she will. Last night, she was slapping me in my face, like, with her arm, I'm like, - Like, she'll come in the middle of the night. - Or sometimes she starts with me, but I try to have her start in her room and she just walks in. Like, there's nothing happened. - Yeah. - She just programs to wake up. - Yeah. - And just comes in and I'm like, come on. - I mean, I feel like I still do that when I go home. I'm like, I need to get my mom's bed. - I don't care when some people are like, you shouldn't do that. I'm like, why? She's not gonna do that forever. And if she does it 18, great for me. - No, I did that my whole childhood. And now it's actually one of the sweetest memories because my dad will say like, oh my God, remember when you used to sneak into our room and I'd pretend I didn't know? And I would be like, and like, as of like two years ago, I was like new. - Wait a minute. I thought it was really fooling you. He's like, no, obviously I could see you, but my mom would be like, oh my God, okay, be quiet. And that was such a moment that I didn't even know. - Yeah. - And now it's like a grown adult. I'm like, hey, you guys were good parents. - Yeah, you're like, oh, good. - You're so good. I made a custom bed because I always have cousins over and for Tatum, I'm like, you guys all up to fit in here. So I have a jumbo size bed. You would actually love it. - No, Chloe, that's my dream. - Yeah. - When you say jumbo, like compare it to just like a king size bed, like a, it's double. - I think it's double. It's like a nine. - No, I need the number for that guy. - I think it's a nine feet wide. - How do you buy sheets? You get them custom. You have to do, once you do one, you gotta do it all. So it is a commitment. - Yeah. - But there's, and something really crazy, my bed goes up and down. - I have that. - Never ever going back. - Never. - And when they were like, do you want the geriatric thing? I was like, absolutely not. Then I test drove on, I go, fuck yes. - I'll never not have an adjustable base bed. - Never not. - My parents were making fun of me when I, 'cause I brought them to go mad you're shopping with me. - Of course. - That's one of us. - To make it a help. - And I won't came with me to buy it. - Yeah. - 'Cause I'm like, this is a big decision. - Yes. - You lay on it, you tell me how you feel. - Yes. - And when I was like, - I don't know these answers. You tell me what to do. - Yeah, and my dad was very into it. He was like, yeah, no, this is a huge purchase. This is a big decision. It'll change your old life. And when I got the adjustable base bed, they were like, really like, are you gonna use it? - Every day. - Every day. - Every day in mind vibrates to you. - Yes. - What? - It vibrates me off to sleep. - I'm like, hold on. Do you want to elevate your legs? I can do that for you. - Yes, it is littered and now true. It's like, can you make it so it does the buzzing? I'm like, oh my God, I am ruined her. - Okay, can I be honest? For the longest time, I would just wander around the gym doing whatever I felt like doing that day. If you saved Instagram workouts here, a random YouTube video there, no plan, no progress. I knew it should be strength training, but I never knew what to do. Like, what exercise is? How many sets? How do I actually get stronger? Then I found the ladder app and it completely changed how I work out. I've been using it for three weeks now and my workouts have never been the styled in. The ladder app isn't random workouts. It's a real strength training plan built by certified coaches. You get a new plan every week that builds on the last so everything connects and you're actually progressing. And it feels like having a personal trainer in your headphones. The in-ear coaching talks you through every set with cues, former grinders and motivation. There's a plan for whatever style you like. Pilates, bodybuilding, glute focused, kettlebells, at-home dumbbell only, even pre and postnatal. The app remembers my weights, reps and sets so I can literally see myself getting stronger. There's a team group chat where your coach answers questions and everyone keeps each other motivated. And now it includes nutrition tracking at no extra cost. With AI powered food logging and macro insights tied right into your plan. And the best part, it costs less than a dollar a day. Compare that to 100 plus dollars for one session with a personal trainer. So remove the guesswork with ladder and get a real coach in your ear telling you exactly what to do for every workout. I made my own digital cookbook on Hungry Root. And I called it Chloe in Wonderland because I wanted dinner to feel a little magical, even on a Tuesday when I'm exhausted. And the last thing I want to do is figure out what to cook. Every recipe in it is something I'd actually make on a busy night. Fast, feel good, and still exciting enough that I look forward to it. So let me walk you through what's in it. First up, there's a balsamic marinated chicken Caesar salad. It's just as good for lunch as it is for dinner and it only takes about seven minutes to prepare. Then there's a creamy garlic swarm of chicken season, jasmine rice bowl that tastes way more indulgent than it is. That one's my go-to when I want comfort food without the food gumma. I also added a gingerie chicken jasmine rice bowl with seven different vegetables, rice, and a sesame ginger sauce that'll have everyone talking about how much they like it. And of course, I had to include snacks because I'm a snacker. I put in a few of my favorites for that 3 p.m. slum plus a little something sweet for after dinner. What I love is that Hungry Root isn't just a meal kit. It combines the convenience of a meal kit with a variety of a full grocery store. So I get the recipes and all the groceries and the snacks I actually want, delivered together. That's the whole point of the Chloe and Wonderland cookbook. Less thinking, more eating, and dinners that feel special without the stress. Explore my digital cookbook on Hungry Root today and find recipes that are right for you. Go to hungryrood.com/cloe to access my cookbook, Chloe and Wonderland. I feel like you have a great sleep situation. Yeah. Like, are you doing anything else in your room? Like, do you have a sound machine? Are you doing a sound machine? Okay. But mainly because my kids need it. But now I'm obsessed. Sound machine is amazing. I love a lavender spray. Okay. How many pillows are you sleeping on? Way too many. Need it. I want to be a princess with pillows. Yeah, a princess in the pit. There is this brand sleep crown. Okay. Have nothing to do with them. Okay. - You love them. - Fucking love them. I was even like, let me help you. They said no. - So, please don't you love that? - You don't think that that's a me. - I turned on. I'm like, now I'm really gonna promote you because you do not want anything to do with me. - You know the brim. (beep) - Yeah. - Okay, one time I went and got a facial and I was like, oh my God. Like, I've never used this before and I like posted it and they DM me and they're like, please stop. - No, I was like, totally. - Yeah, totally. - On me, I'm like, never. - No, I am, cannot stop buying them. I gave them for Christmas gifts. - Do you do blackout curtains? - Yes. - You do. Okay, yes. So coming to your home for a sleepover is probably magical. - And any of my rooms. - I mean, 'cause I make sure they're all good, but you will sleep in my bed. And there'll be enough space. 'Cause I also don't do adult sleepovers. Do you, like with women? - Oh, she said, oh, I mean, a man is a different story. - I feel like if I was like, Paige, come over. It was like a slumber party. - No, I'm not like sleepovers. - Yeah, that's weird. - I'm going home to my bed. - That's why I am. - I'm like, sure, and I'll like come in. - Wait, who are you around that's having like adult sleepovers? - I've been asked. And I'm like, okay, that's their-- - You're right. - Okay. - I'm too, yeah, you're too sweet. - Okay, with my blanket. They're like, no, make it so funny. - Custom bed is next on the list. - Yeah, I think I need that. And they're expensive, but it's so worth it. - I know your bed is worth it. - Especially because you're a girl like me. - Yeah. - Horizontal. - Out all time. - Take meetings, anything. - Yeah, that's why I came out of the beach. - The bell by my bed, but like, I've never used it, but my aunt got it for me, and it's a little tinkerbell, and it's just like, I pretend I have this hotel set up, but I'm not like, who's coming. - If we can work from home, I'm doing it in the bed. - I know. - What is the point? - I'm just sitting at my kitchen table, like a robot, the same thing. - And we're on the computer, I know. - I know. - Honestly, why the adjustable base is so good, because you wake up in the morning, you're like, let me do a couple of emails. - Yeah. - You fit up, being a doll, come up the way up here. - Okay, so for me, like, even I will make plans. I'm someone that I'm, someone's like, oh, I want you to come here in two months. I'm like, perfect, I'll be there, or even this week. And then I pan it, 'cause I'm like, I have to cancel everything. Like, anything extra, anything I'm not really getting paid for, it's hard for me to commit to. - Yes. - Okay. - Here's the thing. I feel like I did my 20s. I'm so proud of myself. I remember even, like, breaking up with a boyfriend, because I was like, you're stopping me from my 20s, and I need a couple more years. And it was the best decision. So now, when I get invited to something where it's like, hey, I'm having a birthday party, like, please come, I don't feel bad canceling those types of things, because I'm like, okay, but that's like a bit, like, that's a couple hours. That's like, who knows if there's going to be someone there that I don't really fuck with? Like, it's a lot of variables. - I have a lot of questions before I could enter. - Right, yeah. But if it's like one of my girlfriends who's like, hey, we haven't seen each other in a while, let's go get lunch, that I feel I'm not canceling. - Yeah. But the other stuff, whether it's going to be more than three people, I'm canceling. - Yeah, you don't even know that I'm not there. - Right. - Because you have other people that aren't telling you. I know, it's the worst, but wait till you've kids, you're going to have the best excuse. - I mean, I don't know. - For no one questions you, especially pregnant, cancel everything. - I've already almost like tried to do it. I'm like, my destiny. - Yeah, I'm like, I feel like my county school event. - Yeah, just anything. Definitely needs me tonight, totally. Do you have a, like, a go-to excuse? - Okay, well, Hannah's been calling me out for it recently, but my go-to excuse used to be a UTI. - Oh my gosh. - You can't. - How are you going to prove it? - Yeah, who's arguing with you when you have a UTI? And if it's like a man, they've already, they're not responding already because they're like, I don't know that. - They're scared. - Yeah. - Well, they can't touch that. - But I went, I was getting UTIs literally, like, once every four months becoming, honestly, us weekly wrote an article about it, which I felt was so rude, super cute. But I went to a doctor and he, like, truly helped me and I haven't had one in almost a year. - Don't say that. - I know, but now Hannah's like, well, you can't use that as an excuse anymore. And I'm like, well, watch me. - But that is such a good one. It has to be a medical. - Yeah. - And it has to be. - 'Cause what are they gonna say? - You're feeling, it's coming on. - You know? - We know. - Speaking of Hannah, how's the Botox situation? - No, Chloe, it's not good. But it's, you're gonna die when I tell you this story. - I was, Hannah. - Stop. - 2015. - Yeah. - I'm gonna show you a photo. - 'Cause I was like, wait, so I got, but I think it was the first time I ever got Botox. - Yeah. - I got Botox and then my ex-husband overdosed as one does. - Yeah. - And I guess it's something that can happen if you're like stressed out. It's sort of like, oh, I didn't know that. - I didn't know that either, but I didn't know what happened to me 'cause I wasn't smiling at this time. So like a month later, I had a contractual obligation to go to fucking Barnes and Noble for a book signing. - No, and I'm smiling and I just feel that my face, before you keep going, I have Kardashian confidential in my room to this day. - You do not. - Oh my God. - Oh my God. - The legend, yes. I can. - Me and my best friend from high school. - Keep it. - We still have Kardashian confidential. - Keep it. - Oh my God. - It is, first of all, this is like, diabolical photos, but this one doesn't even look that bad, there's worse. But like, I can't get my lips like to go up. - Oh, yeah. - And I'm smiling. I could tell I'm like, yeah. Like, I just kept feeling why won't my cheeks move? And then literally my sister was like, to chew to cocaine was wrong with your face. Like, even, no. And like the makeup is really harsh and not helping, but like, I can't move the corners of my mouth. And so I saw that that happened to her and I was like, guys, that happened to me. And I have all these stupid ass photos that are there, but I didn't even know that's what it was until later. - Oh, you didn't know that it was, that she like messed you up in your jaw. - No, I didn't realize that they were the same thing, 'cause it happened like a month before, but I didn't smile for, 'cause I was in the hospital with my ex. This was like a month later. - God, I did. - And then I was like, what the fuck is wrong with my face? I cannot move my mouth or my cheeks. I don't know what it was. - No, she called me like, it happened. And then she was like, it's okay. Like, it's gonna be fine. It's gonna be fine. - How did she know? - She knew immediately that next day. She was like, in Miami, and she just went to this random med spot. And I was like, why are you doing that? And she had had it in her masseters before, because she was like, I have TMJ, I'm not sure, yeah. But anyway, I think the girl just did it like a little too low. And like, immediately the next morning, she woke up and she was like, something's wrong. I can't move my face. And then like, a week into it, I started to get like, really concerned for her because she called me and she goes, okay, I'm not. Trying to be dramatic, but I'm suffocating in my own body. - Yeah. - She started sending me like, different stats. I'm like, how you can get depression if you really don't smile. And she was like, okay, what if I get depression? I'm like, I'm like, just keep like, practicing and go and so on as. I mean, now it's like, no, we're in it. We're like five months. - I was gonna do it. - I feel like it's a six month down already. - Yeah, I was like, you're a nine. - 'Cause you can't dissolve Botox. - No. - You have to ride it out. - And I'm like, you know what? Maybe it'll speed up because she's a sweater. Like in any situation, she's gonna sweat. And so I'm like, I think that's actually good. It'll like, maybe it'll sweat out of you, but she's pretty still deep in it. - I think Chris is gonna go, oh my God. - Christmas shall be back to normal. That is crazy. - But I did it like the two months prior, and it was like the first time I got Botox, and I woke up the next day and my lip was like, pulling to one side. - I got his. - And I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. What is happening? And I had to fly to LA like that next week to host Netflix actor awards. - No. - And I'm like, I call the girl and I'm like, no, I can't. I can't go on camera like this. And so I go back in, she evens me out. - She just pulled both sides. - Yeah, so then I'm on the red carpet, and I have no movement from here down. So I'm like, I don't even know if I'm drooling. It happened to both of us within like two to three months, and it was honestly probably the best thing to happen to both of us because we were like, now we're not doing it, we're not doing it, we're not doing it. - I didn't do it for years. I was so traumatized in the fact that anyone thought, like that I thought that was okay, it was really crazy. Can we talk about how much modern life is working against us? We live in an age of unprecedented access to information, innovation, and opportunity, but also one of environmental and societal stressors that our biology was never designed for. I mean, I could say like the obvious, which is like men in flip-flops, but I feel like my biggest "ick" now is just like people that are rude, and I feel like now being in, I'm 33, I'm like a business owner, I feel like I've been on reality TV. It's really so much easier to be nice, but you actually have to go out of your way to be an asshole. Yes. I mean, we all have the energy. I don't have the energy at all, and you do. It's so much harder and takes way more energy and like to think of insults. I mean, you could just sit here and silence. Sit. Hi. Thank you. That's it. My adult life, and I'm like, "Wait, I feel like you're kind of a bitch." I'm like even more intrigued. I'm like, "Why?" Yeah, for what? Yeah, for what? And I think especially, like with someone like you, some people think they're impressing you by being a bitch, which I like, let's discuss it. Yes. Or people think I'm going to be a bitch. So they like do things, and I'll look at them and be like, "That's like really weird. Don't do that." Yeah. That's the opposite. And then they're like, "I get that too." It's so interesting. Why would that be your default? Right. What do you think that about me? Right. Thank you. What would be like the last few searches on your Google? Oh my God. I Google a lot of things. I do. I do. Like anything could pop up on TikTok, and I'll be like, "What age do babies drink water?" Mm-hmm. Like, you know, just like random, I Google a lot of things about my cat because they have so many tales. Like they're tale in a different way. So I feel like I'm always Googling like her tale's a little pointy, but like not, you know? You should be doing this. Okay. Like how does she feel about it? So I'm Googling a lot of that. I also Google how to spell a lot of words. I know. Yeah. I get that. I'm like, "Is there an eye in that?" Oh my God. When kids going to school and they expect the parents to know how to do this, what age are you out? She just started third grade and I am second grade was a challenge. Once you hit long division, call someone else. And they do, what is it called? The math, single poor math. What the hell is that? I don't know. Everything's in a fucking bubble. And then they're like, "Well, if you need us to teach it to you, I go, no, no, no, I've already done this." No, no. I have a business manager. No, no. I don't need to know any of these things. No. No. So they're teaching the curriculum. Actually, I just heard that the ABC song is a different jingle. Is it that? Is that true? I don't know. That is a lot for me. They're teaching math just like different. Different. They're like, "Oh, we came up with a better way." You can divide the same way or multiply. You're like, "No, I'm out, I'm out out third grade, I think." It's hard. I'll hire a tutor. Yeah. I have a tutor. Yeah. What is your go-to beauty treatments? Ooh. I just started it. Well, as of like six months. Micro-needling? Love. Micro-needling. Change my life. I think. Yeah. Like, change my skin. And anyone can do it. Anyone. And I've been using for like two years now. A brand called Face Reality is the skincare and I love it. Never heard of that. Honestly, I feel like they're like small. I love it. Do you ever sleep in your makeup? Sometimes. Okay. So do I. And I think it's good to do. Oh. Like, I have this crazy unpopular opinion that I feel like there have been times where I've gone to sleep. I've had a pimple. I've slept in my makeup, not like trying to just like tired. And I've woken up and my skin has been better. I love that. So I think it's like humbling. I think everyone needs to do that. I don't feel bad. Like, when I wake up, I'm not like, oh, my, I'm like, I'm like, all right. I know. I had a rough day yesterday. That first wash. Yeah. So good. You're like, oh, my god. And how clean you feel after sometimes you need to remind yourself how lucky we are. My mom says it's good to get your natural oils out. Love your mom. And I agree. I love your mom. Like, whenever I go home, something happens to me and I'm like, I can't shower for three days. I have to stay in my pajamas. And she's like, it's good to get your natural oil off your mom loves you so much. My smile. She's like, it's good. It's good. It's good for you. Yeah. It probably is good for you. What is something that your parents still do for you? Oh, my god. You're like, here's the list. Everything. No, my parents now are truly my only sounding board. Like, obviously, there's like agents and managers and all this, like, different stuff. And I have, like, Hannah's my business partner. And not that my parents have ever worked in entertainment. Like, my mom is an accountant by trade. And so it's not like they'll just know exactly what I'm asking. But I call them for every business decision. I'm just like, just listen to this. Tell me what you think. And I want to see if your gut reaction is mine. So I lean on them a lot for that. And also, they're really like the only people that I can brag to and not feel weird, you know? Like, I'll call my mom and just be like, no, I'm the best. And she's like, yeah, you're like, obviously, you're the funniest, you're the prettiest, you're the prettiest. You're the best everywhere you go. Like, when I was on summer house, she would be like, people would say things to my dad. Like, truly, you would have thought I, like, started in only fans. I was doing fully nude when, like, started being on that show. And certain people would say things to my dad. And they'd be like, she like talks about sex. And my dad would be like, yeah, she does sometimes. And they're just so supportive that my dad would watch every single episode of summer house and be like, that's my daughter. Yeah. And he would call me and be like, you just can't look away from you on the screen. So I lean on them for such emotional support. Like, I would not be confident at all if it wasn't for them. Well, that's how we are with our mom. And I know if my dad was here, we would do the same. Yeah. And like, yeah, you're an adult. You talk about sex. Yeah. And that's okay. Right. I'm 33 years old. Okay. I'm sure he has figured at some point. Right. Absolutely. Because you've been on reality TV for so long. Would you ever go and do a different reality TV show? Like, would you ever, I'm just like pulling one, like a great British bake off. Oh my god. You both do like a, like a, like beat on it or be a host of something. No, like beat on it. Would you ever do like a competition show? I don't know. So I, or would you ever go on like real housewives of Beverly Hills? Probably not. No. Not because I love them. But I have worked really only with my family. Yeah. And I can't imagine I feel like shows like that. You feel competitive to get screen time. Totally. And I've never lived like that. Yeah. Yeah. You have to film it. Yeah. Like you, it's your job to film me. So, and I'm assuming that's how it is. And it's cut down. You have to talk shit about people or what's your purpose there? Yeah. You have to like have an opinion. Yeah. Yeah. And sometimes I don't want to. Yeah. So, probably not when it comes to like, I love watching kids baking shows and competitions like American Ninja Warrior. But I like the kids. Like, I don't know why I like. Yeah. Wait. I could see you hosting. I could like do that. Yeah. But I don't know if I would be on anything like that. Wait. Now, I want you to like host like, are you smarter than a fifth grader or something? But I wouldn't be. Are we? Okay. That they started. I want to be. I'm like, I would never. I wouldn't even learn at fifth grade. I was at something for Fashion Week and it was like the press line or whatever. And one of the guys, I think it was like El Magazine or something. He asked me to spell Mademoiselle. First of all, that. Yeah. How dare you. Yeah. That is very disrespectful. Like, ask me like, how much I weigh. Right. That would be less than okay. Right. How to spell Mademoiselle. Like, honestly. No. Thank God. And I saw it. I'm like the back of the wall and I just turned my head and I read it because I got so nervous. No. When I see, there's like TikTok videos and they stop people on the street though. How many continents are there? Literally and I try to guess as many as I know and then I'm like, I did it. I'll read the comments. I'm like, wait. Who's wrong? Was it me or that person? So it's like when you're under pressure in like that moment, I'm like a clock. Yeah. I'm like, no, I can't stop. Like, I have to run away. I have to run away. I don't like the pressure of like the clock going down. Yeah. I really don't like it. I hosted X Factor for like a day and they had an earpiece and when you were talking, they would say 29, 28, 27 and I'm like, huh? And it's live. Yeah. That I can't handle. No. I passed out when I hosted Love Island. No. I had to stop. I was hosting one challenge and I thought, oh, when they edit it, they'll just make it look like I was still there and then like I wasn't there. That was that way you were going. And they go, pages just step away for a moment. Oh, I don't remember that part. I passed out literally, literally fainted. Well, first of all, yes, and it was like, they were like, oh, it's like a, um, what is the word? I was going to say woodchuck, but not a woodchuck. Like a movie. - Whatever, it was like outdoorsy was the theme. And I was like, the only thing I have to wear to match that is like this like look-on, like cut out, swayed outfit. But it was so naked that I was like, you're not gonna, I'm not gonna be affected by the swayed. And then I took a beta blocker. - Yeah, this one does. - And I didn't know that when you take a beta blocker, your body can't cool itself down. - Oh, I didn't know that either. - No, so once I started sweating, that was it, that was my type of tip of the whole deck. - I learned with you. - Okay. - So I'm out in the Fiji sun for like five hours. - I think it's fainted. - And I'm like, guys, they're in my ear like telling me what to say. And I go, actually, I'm going down. - No, no. - And I was like, I was like, - But I watched, they didn't show you faint. - No, they don't show me faint because I like stepped. Oh, they had like this like little fake house. And so I like went into it. And I was like, I need a water. And then I dropped. And I was like, guys, I'm going back to my hotel. - And I'm going back to my hotel. And I said, pay chat to leave. - Yeah, they really paid you to go. And I was like, yeah, okay. Well, on that note, oh my god, yeah, you have to go. - This was so fun. - Oh my god, I had so much fun for doing this. - Thank you for having me. - I had so much fun. Honestly, I told you we're best friends now. - No, we are. - No, we really are.
