Overreaction Monday! The Biggest Fantasy Football Takeaways from Week 5 | Fantasy Focus

The recap highlights key fantasy football developments from Week 5, focusing on standout performances and roster shifts. Drake May rebounds with a 39.5 fantasy point outing, solidifying his position as a top-10 quarterback and a consistent fantasy threat through the season. The Raiders’ offense is driven by Brock Bowers, who consistently delivers top-tier production, while Ashton Gentry remains a mid-tier RB2 due to inefficient rushing and injury concerns. The Patriots face depth issues with key injuries, forcing managers to adapt their lineups. Jalen Warren becomes a dominant force in the Colts' offense, with 36.8 fantasy points in one game, while the Eagles’ collapse is evident in Jalen Hurts’ dwindling output, now ranked as a QB20. Spencer Schrader’s elite kicking performance—16.4 fantasy points per game—makes him a top waiver target. Malik Neighbors shines with 20 targets and 121 receiving yards, proving his value in high-volume games. The trade of Marvin Harrison Jr. to Houston introduces uncertainty, with managers advised to wait for performance proof before adding him. Overall, the week underscores the importance of injury management, game script, and position-specific efficiency in fantasy success.

it's an upgrade big upgrade that's always make me feel so oh gosh it's gonna be a lot of fun mike take the rest of the year off we're gonna dive into a bunch of fun games today guys we love we of course we wouldn't say that and not by the way you're not gonna be here tomorrow yeah liz is holding it down for me tomorrow yeah yeah we're gonna have me and mike and liz no that'll be we'll see how that one goes but we got a lot of fun stuff to dive into today a week five recap we're gonna do a quick monday night football preview shout out to our friends over at trophy smack even though they beat me this week in the fantasy focus show league did they they did yep he auto drafted his team is really good go smack.com use the promo code trophy week six for 10 off your order there you can grab something fun for your league and with that let's dive into what was a fun game if you were a patriots fan field yeah on top of that by the way we will have uh not breaking news but we'll have reaction to breaking news from yesterday that's right which is a huge trade involving a guy that we once thought was going to be a fantasy superstar the patriots absolutely wax the raiders 45 to 17 that trigger warning you're not allowed to say that sorry gosh the patriots absolutely shave off the raiders 45 to 17 uh and guys drake may's back yes he is may is all the way back he uh depending on what happens tonight in monday night football then josh allen hasn't played this week so it's still possible it's in the bag yeah but drake may as of right now quarterback one for the week he was quarterback one last week as well as we record this show drake may is already back up to quarterback 10 for the season guys he had three straight games to begin the year under 10 fantasy points it would take a pretty herculean effort for matthew stafford to jump over drake may so he'll probably enter week six as a top 10 quarterback and this raiders team like i don't think this is drake may doing this to the seahawks defense but this raiders team there were three and one coming into this game and they nearly beat kansas city last week this is a real team he did this against and they had not been surrendering a ton to opposing quarterbacks and on top of that drake may had no aj brown yes no back holland travion henderson gets hurt really early in this game we'll talk about that in a minute the patriots offensive line bunch of injuries there drake may was throwing to pop douglas and eftim chisholm uh romeo dobbs had one catch yesterday and drake may still went off for 39.5 fantasy points he was unbelievable and here's the schedule coming up for drake may over the next five games yes please tell me any of these that say to you all right i'm scared i'm worried that like that under 10 fantasy points performance is going to be so bad i'm worried that like that this is coming again yep we got the jets we got the bears got the dolphins got the packers we got the lions all of those teams are all those games are ones in which drake may will be right back inside our top 10 we're not going to be talking about drake may in the rankings portion of the program he was awesome travion henderson got hurt he played just 18.2 percent of the snaps and think back to week one when remandre stevenson played a ton against seattle because there was no travion henderson yep i think if henderson's going to miss some time you can expect something like that going forward remandre is one of those guys he's kind of like a cat in fantasy football right you count him out he's got nine lives though okay not a superstar yep right but kind of going to ham and egg his way to mid-tier probably low-end rb status for rankings purposes with no jameer gibbs and four teams going to buy next week i think remandre assuming travion is out will probably be somewhere around rb 15 in our rankings against the jets uh for the Patriots while pop douglas had a huge game yesterday there's really no patriots pass catcher right now you're saying to yourself all right gotta lock them in even with drake may being back the raiders had a couple of interesting things to me and we did see fernando mendoza at the end of this game i don't think we're quite on mendoza watch yet guys but it was cool to see him out there he did have 48 passing yards on six for eight attempts two things here for the raiders one brock bowers is just ridiculous super good at football he's already tight end five for the games insane he's had at least 20 fantasy points in every game i think he's the biggest single positional difference maker in the game right now right now and trey mcbride's awesome he had another great game yesterday and he's under 19 fantasy points per game brock bowers is close to 24 that's ridiculous how good brock bowers is but brock's gonna be in our lineup every single week to me the most interesting part i think bears monitoring going forward is ashton genti who yesterday the raiders seemed like they were going to be in our lineup every single week they were being very careful with this game got out of hand and they yanked him but ashton genti had just 27 rushing yards 10 carries for 27 rushing yards a couple weeks ago i i brought the the debate to the table and this is before we we knew about this foot injury is ashton genti more mid-tier rb2 than low-end rb1 i was concerned by the incredibly inefficient rushing volume or any rushing opportunities for uh ashton genti and the passing game stuff is really good it was good again yesterday three catches for 50 yards but until we see better rushing efficiency between that and this injury that i think the raiders are going to have to manage for a while i think ashton genti is more like a not not mid-tier rb2 but a stronger end rb2 than a legit rb1 any disagreement there from you guys i don't disagree i think it bums me out that he's not operating at 100 because with this offense if he was operating 100 in this offense i'd be fine with it but if he was operating at 100 i'd be fine with it but if he was operating but this offense we've already downgraded a little bit because it's the raiders well they don't have as much touchdown equity they're not going to push the ball down the field nearly as much like there's not as much there so with him not operating at full potential would you rather just have the raiders throw him on ir for four weeks as a fantasy manager i don't think that's going to happen but i do does he miss a week mentioned like can he maybe he said something to the effect of like i think the raiders would at least consider whether they need to give him a week to rest liz and it feels like the kind of guy that needs a week to rest i i think that that makes sense i just wish mike washington was more available as a pass catcher i wish he had more receiving appeal he was not a player in college that was used that much in the receiving game um we know he has great speed and we know he's a great downhill rusher but i think he's much more game script dependent and that's what makes ashen genti so tricky in terms of where you place him because he can be used even if game script isn't going his way you mentioned the receiving work so yes i would like to see him rest up but i also we were just talking about before the show started running back and how you need somebody so yes we might have to run back and get him back but i think that's what makes rank him as a high-end rb2 instead of a low-end rb1 but we're not what does that mean for managers though right like you still have to roll them out you know so it's like you know uh well that's i think that will be a question is that like if he misses two practices this week are you still going to absolutely without question roll them out and also it comes down to like how many of these players are the difference between winning and not winning a championship you can win a championship with ashen denty right now if this efficiency and this injury lingers i don't think you win a championship with ashen denty right now if this efficiency and this injury lingers i don't think you win a championship because of ashen denty we did see dylan lobby by the way yesterday he was playing a decent amount even before the game got out of hand last thing for me on this game if we were to do a mini quarterback draft right now going forward josh allen's going to go number one yep who's going number two for you guys for the rest of the season amongst all quarterbacks knowing what we know through five weeks it's a brock purdy jayden daniels lamar jackson who's not healthy is it drake may it's really hard for me to say drake may because the first three weeks of the season did happen and that's factored into overall i mean there are some people who are working their way out of a whole three weeks into the season yeah this is just for the rest of the year okay if it's not like who's going to finish this qb2 but if we started the clock in week six and went forward that's a tough question it is a good question because we're sitting here perseverating over it right yeah i don't i think i would still rather have lamar jackson okay i'd just think that there's part of this is drake may did some things and you talked about it that like i don't think i expect him to do i don't expect him to have 374 passing yards with efton chisholm and pop douglas more often than not doesn't mean that it's not in his bag to be able to do some things yeah but like i i'm not sure that i view him there i do definitely view him as back into my top seven without question like i feel like there's no way i'm benching him especially with the schedule that you just i mean i i think it's at least possible that drake is qb2 the rest of the way which is a testament to how talented he is I mean, just a ridiculous performance from him yesterday. That's all I got on the Patriots. and the Raiders. All right. Well, I'm going to take over for the Colts and the Steelers because there's another quarterback who is surprising. We'll start with Aaron Rodgers. Took care of business at home, beating the Colts by a score of 34-22. Rodgers was mistake-free in a home effort against the Colts. He completed 22-31 for 235 passing yards and three touchdowns. That makes the third week in a row in which he's thrown for three scores. He's also now cleared 20 fantasy points in three straight efforts, making him the QB6 in fantasy points per game over the last three weeks. Right? That is a mind blow when you contextualize everything. He'll travel to Tampa Bay in week six, and we'll see if the Bucs can do to him what they did to Dak Prescott. I'm not really holding my breath. Other standouts, obviously, Jalen Warren, who continues to be a star, while Rico Dowdell is out of the lineup. Warren touched the ball 21 times for 188 scrimmage yards, two touchdowns, one on the ground, one through the air, and that was good for 36.8 fantasy points. Warren has now cleared 125 scrimmage yards for three straight weeks. Remember, Rico Dowdell's only been out for two, which leads me to my next point, because right now there are whispers of Rico Dowdell returning in week six, but I'm still starting Warren regardless of Dowdell's availability, also because of his dominance in the passing game and because we know Aaron Rodgers needs, a safety valve. Kenny Gainwell went to the pirate ship, and now Jalen Warren, who was in second place in that regard last year, now gets a promotion of sorts. We will take it. He's the RB6 and catches the RB2 in receiving yards since the start of the season. Other performances of note, got Pat Fryermuth, who converted 7-5 for 44 receiving yards and two touchdowns. That was the third time this season he found the end zone. Michael Pittman, obviously, on IR, which made an opportunity for Jeremy Bernard, who drew nine targets. Seemingly, as a result, also part of that equation was Roman Wilson's absence. He hurt his finger, and he is expected to "miss some time." Yep. So that's the Steelers side. Shall we move on? Yes. The Colts? Okay. I'm glad you covered it. This is my question for you guys on the Steelers. Okay. It's very fast. Do we think that Jalen Warren can do to Rico Dowdell what Rico Dowdell did to the Hubbard last year, at least for a little bit, which is, hey, Rico's going to return at some point. He almost played this past weekend. Right. If he comes back next week, the Steelers can't put the toothpaste back in the tube here and go, "All right, you know what? Running back by committee here, Jalen Warren and Rico Dowdell." I don't expect Jalen Warren to play 80% of the snaps when Rico Dowdell is around, but the number's got to be much closer to, like, 65 than 50, right? I think it's also a little bit different because Bryce Young does not have the same command of power that Aaron Rodgers does. That's a fair way to say that. And if Aaron Rodgers is favoriting someone, that person is going to continue to be targeted both in the receiving game obviously and utilized on the ground. I would default towards being disappointed and starting Jalen Warren with an expectation and then finding out, "Oh, wow. They really do want to get Rico Dowdell involved." He's outscoring Ashton Gentry every week. I'm surprised about this. Yeah, then we'll get there. But until then, like, Jalen Warren has been unbelievable. Like, you got to keep rolling with it. Jonathan Taylor has normally been awesome. He struggled a little bit in this one. 15 carries for 45 rushing yards, three catches for 37 receiving yards. That was good for 11.2 fantasy points. Didn't find the end zone. But I don't think anybody is too concerned. Things are up, things are down. He is still a dominant player in the position. I'm not concerned because I have another player in the squad that got in the end zone, Liz Loza, and I am so grateful that it finally happened this year. And Tyler Warren, who scored a rushing touchdown instead of Jonathan Taylor. He sure did, and it spiked his total fantasy performance. He was tied for the team high in looks, converting 7 of 9 for 83 receiving yards. Yes, and also that rushing score, 21.4 fantasy points. His highest fantasy point total of the season. Other quick mentions, Keenan Allen, who has been healthy and not healthy. Obviously had some issues ahead of the season. He also drew nine targets. Wasn't as efficient with his opportunities as Warren. Just five catches for 45 receiving yards. And Josh Downs continued to disappoint, converting just three of six looks. Yeah. Not really a whole lot from the Colts' perspective. It feels like this is, they are kind of what we think they are. I think they host Tennessee, right? That's not a secondary I'm particularly afraid of in week six. But there's nothing exciting here outside of Warren and Jonathan Taylor. Do you disagree? Might be one more thing. Okay, okay, okay. Tell us. You guys ready to do some sicko stuff right now? Oh, I'm ready. I'm ready, Field. Nothing like sickos on a Monday. How many players are a bigger positional advantage besides Brock Bowers and Spencer Schrader right now, baby? Oh, kicker talk on the show. The Colts kicker. Are you guys aware of what's going on right now? Bring it. Nope. Give me the loadout. Spencer Schrader. Fill the tea. He has his fantasy points in each of those last four games. This is in a league with decimal scoring, so it may not be exactly this in your league, but it's not far off. So if it's like a 34-yard kick, he would get 3.4 yards. Okay. 15.9, 19.7, 17.4, and 21.3. Are you kidding me? You can also tell that Field had a quiet night yesterday because he got to dig into some other stats. Some kicker stats. I do have him in a high leverage league. Really? Really? Really? He put his readers on and did the work. 16.4 fantasy points. I know. I mean, it's amazing. So just for context, right? Like the guy that we think many of us believe is, or was often the number one drafted kicker and is the best kicker in the league is probably Brandon Aubrey. Sure. He's at nine fantasy points per game. Dude. Our guy, Spencer Schrader, is at 16.4, and I'm not even sure if that, let's see, does that count? That may or may not, that doesn't even factor in what we did yesterday yet. Like the guy is, this is ridiculous. That's unbelievable. Okay. So a couple of things here. Very, very quickly. And then I will get off my Spencer Schrader soapbox is, he is obviously a very talented kicker, right? He is, he's, he's crushing it. He had 250, I think it was a 57 and a 54 yard bomb yesterday. Unbelievable. They play, he plays for a coach in Shane Steichen that is going to take the points. And in a league where we're seeing these coaches, it did not cost them. We'll talk about the Jaguars in a bit, but Liam Cohen had probably, what, at least two field goal attempts that he could have kicked. And he said, I'm going forward here. Shane Steichen loves to kick field goals. So Spencer Schrader, that's two minutes on Spencer Schrader, had to give a shout out to him. Also available in 46% of ESPN fantasy leagues. I just looked it up. So that's close to 50%. Eric Moody, be on alert for your waiver article. What's his updated point total? Well, I'm not sure what his updated point total is. I was just looking to see how many players have scored at least 14 points in every single game so far this year. There's only five players in the NFL that have scored at least 14 points. And then Spencer Schrader has done it four times as a kicker. 68 fantasy points right now in this league. Which it depends on, again, scoring. Scoring and all that stuff. Anyways, I digress. Let's talk about Eagles and Jaguars. Yeah. Speaking of kickers. Let's talk about this London game. Yeah. This is a big game. This is a big game. It's a big game. It's a big game. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. It's a big game. It's a big game. It's a big game. Oh, man. Someone give me a good Cam Little impression. Can you give me a Cam Little impression at the end? I thought he was going to hit the Ronaldo at the end. Oh, yeah. But the game, he just sort of went the. Yeah. He just. Yeah. Oh, he did the Jude Bell. Oh, that's what it was. That's what our producer Zach is mentioning. The game was, of course, being played in London. This game took forever. By the way, we watched the entirety of our Fantasy Focus Countdown show on Sunday, which has never been able to happen before. The Jaguars pulled this one out. It was a great game. It was a great game. It was a great game. None of this looked pretty, to be honest. When you were really watching the game, it wasn't great. But for the Jaguars, Trevor Lawrence, 331 passing yards with two touchdowns. From a fantasy perspective, the dude looked good if you utilized him this week. For the running back spot, Bachel Tootin touched the ball 24 times. Again, didn't really turn into a ton of production, but he is getting all of the volume as the guy in this bag. I think he's going to be a great player. For a while, it was just basically just, you know, it was a lot of stuff at or near the line of scrimmage. Now Amon Ra is being utilized in all different ways. Parker is a little bit like that. Just like small guy, not the fastest guy. And yet, if you throw the football to him, he is going to dominate. There's a similar chip on the shoulder, too. Also, in terms of draft capital spent, right? Like Amon Ra was very disappointed that he was drafted. He, I believe, was a third-round pick, right? He was drafted. Amon Ra, fourth-rounder. Fourth-round pick. He was upset that he fell. Parker Washington, I believe, a sixth-round pick, right? So, I love the grit when these guys are like, you know what, I'm going to show you. And he's showing all of us. He's not getting, I would love it if he got Amon, well, Amon Ra didn't get a ton of volume, but I would love it if Parker Washington got Amon Ra St. Amon Ra St. Brown kind of volume. Not really doing that, but size, stature, what he does, that second touchdown. Yeah, he's awesome. He's the man. He's making ridiculous catches. Better himself coming into the year. Turned down an extension. And through five weeks, I would say that he's adding a few million dollars per year to that extension. So, shout out Parker Washington. Yep. On the other side of this one, the Eagles looked awful. Awful. Terrible. Will Shipley, unfortunately, got hurt in this one. He was the only running back that you may have tried to roll with because both Tank Bigsby and Saquon Barkley were already out. Damian Pierce carried the ball 11 times for 14 yards. Oof. Yeah, that ain't it. That's not going to do it for us. When you look at the wide receivers, obviously, in this game, there was no Devontae Smith. I'm not interested right now in starting. And either Makai Lemon or Dontavian Wicks or Darius Cooper, in spite of the fact that he's found the end zone again. I'm not following that. I'm not chasing the touchdowns. The real conversation for me is that Jalen Hurts just isn't a starting quarterback for us anymore. Who was the debate we had? Jalen Hurts. It was somebody who was like, I want to cut Jalen Hurts for this person. I think it was to cut Jalen Hurts to acquire Jacoby Brissett. I think it was something like that, yeah. We were like, well, you can't do that with Jalen. I'm not sure you can cut Jalen. Well, I don't know. You might be able to. You might be able to because people are going to say that when Devontae Smith comes back, there will be a lift. But the reason is because the rushing efficiency has gone because of the offensive line absences, exits, really. So Jalen Hurts has five straight seasons with eight-plus rushing touchdowns. There you go. Up until last year, he had four straight seasons with 10-plus rushing touchdowns. He had three seasons in a row in there where he had 13-plus rushing touchdowns. That's the reason why he had all of that volume. When you look at it now, one rushing touchdown through the first five games, that means that his upside is not there anymore. Do you remember that rushing touchdown, by the way? That was the rushing touchdown against the Bears on Monday night. Oh, that's right. End of the first half. Yes, yes. We thought maybe they'd go up and spike it to kick a field goal or run one play. Yep. Instead, they just snuck it in. Yeah, 1.5% of Jalen Hurts' fantasy points came from rushing yesterday as he had two rushes for two yards. The days of Jalen Hurts being an elite fantasy quarterback are on ice. I am going to say that. You can eat definitely, clearly, obviously, Benjam. I'm okay with you cutting him. Right now, he is quarterback 20, averaging 0.2 more fantasy points per game than Deshaun Watson and averaging 0.6 less fantasy points per game than Aaron Rodgers. He is not it right now. That much is for sure. Not great. Hopefully, things bounce back, but it is not looking good. Speaking of a bounce back, Field, did you know that you could not win at a football game? I was not aware, actually. Our friend Pat Doherty does an amazing job over at Roto-World, had a tweet that only the NFC East could find a way to go winless as a division in a week in which they had two teams playing each other. It's unbelievable. Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders, Giants combined for zero wins yesterday. We were in the war room. Field was at home because he was on daddy duty while also watching. And being in the war room while this happened, Field, I so desperately wish you were there. It lost its mind. It must have been the perfect. Or memory. Yes, absolutely. I just, I can't get over. This is not a fantasy conversation. Just the way the game ended. Frankly, I think it's Jaden Daniels' responsibility, to be honest with you. I just, I think. Situational awareness? Yeah, I think so. I mean, I think if this were Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, we'd be saying like, how on earth do you not know that? That's fundamental stuff. You are the leader of this franchise. I don't know. He protected his elbow. I'm not getting mad. Okay. But they also tied. They should have won that game. They should have. As far as this game. It brings me great joy to say that Malik Neighbors is back. Oh my gosh. Back to back. Monster weeks for Malik Neighbors. Yeah. Looked awesome. He had 20 targets yesterday. 20 targets. Now, Jameis Winston threw the ball 54 times, so a ton of opportunity there. He had 20 targets. He looks great. The weather was awful for much of this game, and he still managed 121 receiving yards, 11 catches. He was sensational. He and Isaiah Likely form one of the most enjoyable wide receiver tight end duos to watch, right? Now, in the NFL, Isaiah Likely, who had 13 targets of his own, 11 catches for 94 yards, two touchdowns, incredible value at tight end, tight end one for the week, and I don't think that's going to change tonight. Obviously, Brock Bowers, obviously, Trey McBride, Isaiah Likely is in that next tier. Whether you want to call that a one-man tier of just Isaiah Likely, whether you want to include George Kittle, whether you think Tyler Warren's good enough to be in that tier, I don't know, but Isaiah Likely's been amazing. He's going nowhere. He is, with all those Giants injuries, and by the way, they draw the Saints next week, who the Saints have been awful against the run, but they have not been efficient at all against the pass, so they can move the ball through the air. On the running back front, Cam Scadaboo fumbled in overtime. He did see, oh, he had the exact same tweet, too. Sorry, I saw Pat's first, but that is Mina, who you guys know. Always on top of it. The absolute best. Yes. Absolute. Legend, Mina Kimes. Great tweet there, as well. Cam Scadaboo played a ton of snaps yesterday. Oh, my God. Jaden Daniels, I'm sure no one can win in week five out of respect for Jaden Daniels. It's a great tweet. Amazing. Man, I got to spend more time on Twitter. That is in the lore. Wow. That is amazing right there. Scadaboo played a ton of snaps for the Giants. He did. Continues his remarkably inefficient season, though. 7.1 fantasy points in PPR. I think, so Liz and I talked about this a little bit, I believe Cam Scadaboo played 61% of the snaps, and both the other guys played, like, under 20. Yeah, it was at a 63.1 for Scadaboo and 19 each for Najee. There you go. A little frustrating to see, like, Isaiah Likely being, like, targeted on bubble screens when I'm like, Cam Scadaboo's right there. Please just give the ball to Cam Scadaboo. Just let him fall on the goal line, please. What are we doing, Jameis? You know, the reason, if you survive week five and you're looking for a silver lining, I mentioned they play the Saints next week, and maybe that's the week that he gets it going, but he has had one of the more disappointing seasons for any running back in the NFL. How many targets did you say for him? Malik Neighbors and. 20 for Malik Neighbors, 13 for Isaiah Likely. So 33 of the 54 passes went to those two. That's unbelievable. Vintage Jameis Winston game there. I mean, just, he kept both teams in this game. Down to the jawing with Darnell Mooney, the whole thing. So good. Top to bottom. Jaden Daniels. This was awesome to see. Yes. Jaden Daniels, the end of the game was obviously a massive flub, but he was really efficient as a passer, 17 for 25 for 199 yards, but more importantly, nine rushes, 103 yards, two rushing touchdowns. So Jaden Daniels currently quarterback two for the week. That's pending Monday night football. Besides Jaden, though, nobody in this Washington offense, week in and week out, is the kind of player that you're like, I'm definitely trusting you. Right? No. No Stephon Diggs yesterday, and Terry McLaurin, 12.2 fantasy points. Fine. Not great. Been kind of a ho-hum season for Terry, for sure. Bill Kroski Merritt had a long rushing touchdown, but do you really want Bill Kroski Merritt as your go-to running back? I started him because I had to. and I got lucky he got in the end zone this last week that's what I was hoping for it's zero targets yesterday for Bill Kroski-Merritt. So it was great to see Jaden bounce back, but the Commanders, for the most part, a stay-away offense. Even if Jaden Daniels is banged up, even if you're concerned about the elbow, if he is healthy and out there on the field, this is the kind of game that he can deliver. I don't feel uncomfortable about playing Jaden Daniels. There's a chance with him or any quarterback that halfway through a game, he gets hurt, but I'm not going to have that fear in my head as I'm starting Jaden Daniels. This is why he is your starting quarterback. Monday night football next week at San Francisco for Jaden and the Commanders. Let's go to the Bears and the Packers, Liz. I'm sorry you have to do this. I was going to say, do we have to? Well, I'm just going to get the score out of the way. It was Packers 31, Bears 7. Let's start with some positives, at least from a fantasy perspective. I am absolutely loving this concentrated target tree from Green Bay. We haven't seen it in a minute, and it is legit. Christian Watson led the team in looks and receiving yards. He caught six of eight for 143, I like to call that, and I love you. And two touchdowns. That was good for 32.3 fantasy points. Second time all season, by the way, he's cleared 30 fantasy points. The last time was week one against another division opponent, the Vikings. Also impressive when we're talking about Brian Flores' defense. Yes. Yes, you're looking at me quizzically. Yeah, I am. Why? I'm going to let you finish your sentence. Why is 143 I love you? One letter for I. Four for love. Oh my gosh, guys, that's so cute. You didn't know that? No. I like said it on last night's show, and you didn't bring it up until right now. I let it roll, yeah. Okay. Oh, you're just like, she's so cute. Well, I didn't want to look silly on last night's show, so I decided to wait until today. So you made a clown of yourself in front of Fields. I did it in front of Fields. Yes, exactly. You know what? It was golden vulnerability, and Matthew was also golden, even though he had one fewer target than Christian Watson. He converted six of seven for 123. That is not an I love you. No. That's a I you. I don't know what you. For 20.3 fantasy points. There you go. I to you. I to you. He has managed seven or more targets in four games. Great. Of his first five games. He's also cleared 100 yards in two of five efforts. Now, the debate between which one of these is the team's true number one, I don't care about. Watson's going to see more of the high value looks. Probably golden. We'll see more overall looks. Fine if you drafted both of them, especially given where you drafted them. And good matchup next Sunday against the Cowboys. That is true, too. Backfield struggle, just in terms of efficiency, as we've seen, averaging just 2.7 yards per carry as a whole. But Marshawn Lloyd, a little tiny, shout out, did manage two rushing scores on 10 totes. First time he scored since week two, and that was at the Jets. I like the matchup for him, especially with those teams on a bye that we mentioned. People having volatility and question marks at the running back position. He might be someone that you roll out. Jordan Love recorded his best fantasy outing of the season, 25.3 fantasy points. He cleared 360 passing yards and tossed two touchdowns. Looked good. All right, so that's the good stuff. Okay. Let's talk about the Bears. We'll be quick here. Arthur Burden led the team in targets. He converted four of six for 47 receiving yards. Romo Dunze only managed three catches and 40 receiving yards on nine looks. I hate that. Colston Loveland caught two of five for 19 receiving yards. DeAndre Swift was the star again. It needs to be stated, obviously, that Kyle Menongai was sidelined for this one. He eked out 43 rushing yards and a score on nine carries. Also managed four catches and 30 yards through the air. That was good for 17 points and three fantasy points. Caleb Williams, please come back soon. Let me ask you this question, guys. With how bad the Bears' offense looks right now and knowing that Caleb Williams is coming back, would you put in buy low offers on some of these guys because managers are like, I want out, I want out, but we think something better is on the horizon with the QB returning? Definitely possible. Definitely I would. You know what's amazing about the Bears, and Liz, you know this better than probably anybody, is it just feels like the Bears recently, when they lose, they lose in like spectacular fashion. It's like we just, they're such a feast or famine team. Yeah. Right? It's not like, hey, you know, like the Minnesota game which Caleb got hurt in. It was like a total no-show offensive effort. And then the other three games, they've been really good in offense, right? The Case Keenum game and last week Tyson Bajan and week one against the Panthers. So a hard team to figure out, but it sounds like Caleb Williams has a real chance to play next week against the Falcons. They then play on Thursday night against the Patriots. So two big opportunities in a short period of time for the Bears to kind of get this offense rolling. All right. Next one here, Field Yates, Browns and Jets. We can probably be pretty quick on this one. We can. The Jets get a good win. The Jets are now two and three and coming into the season, there was one thing and one thing more so than anything else that we wanted from this Jets offense. Geno Smith, keep Garrett Wilson afloat. Yes, sir. 11 of his 30 passing attempts went to Garrett Wilson, seven catches, 104 yards and a touchdown. Wilson looked awesome yesterday as did his teammate, Braylon Allen. Yeah, he did. He was playing all the snaps without Brees out. Without Brees Hall, he had 24 rushes for 116 yards. He had zero receiving yards, but he found the end zone. So he is currently RB6 on the day. They play the Patriots next week, a very tough run defense. And if Brees Hall is back, then Braylon Allen goes back to zero value. But he has done a more than serviceable job filling in for Brees Hall since Hall hurt himself a couple of weeks back. The Browns are just a flat mess right now in the backfield. So Quinshawn Judkins left the game yesterday He had 14 rushes for 44 yards. He had three catches for six yards. He got hurt. He left the stadium in a walking boot. Certainly sounds like missing time is on the table. Our guy Raheem Sanders, he steps into a bigger role. He has three carries. He runs nine routes. He's been a part of this Browns offense, kind of a pass catcher. He leaves the game because of a hip injury. The Browns are down to like literally practice squad level players in the backfield right now. So it would be great to have more information later today. From Todd Munkin on the severity of those running back injuries. But the Browns, a team that, you know, we've already dealt with injury attrition. Dylan Sampson missed one game. We've already been dealing with injury attrition there in the backfield. Even more of it coming our way for the Browns. Feels like the player that you most want to roster right now for the Cleveland Browns in fantasy is actually Denzel Boston. Good game for him. Three for 46 in the touchdown. 13.6 fantasy points. Harold Fannin Jr. has just 1.4 fantasy points. Fannin kind of bailed out last week as well with a short touchdown. Casey Concepcion got hurt. He had a concussion. So he's out. He was out for much of the game. Denzel Boston, the most exciting player on this Browns young offense. Disappointing. Kind of an egg laid by the Browns who had a chance to have a four game winning streak for the first time in a few years. So Cleveland with the backfield uncertainty, the best player for fantasy, Quinshawn Judkins, now a big cloud hanging over him for week six. Is there any truth to the rumor field that NFL Fantasy Hall of Famer Peyton Hillis is thinking about signing with this team in order to roll it out? So thin right now for the Browns. I think the next man up would be Jared Patterson. We'll have to check to see where Dylan Sampson's at health wise. That's right. But it is brutal right now. The Browns probably scouring the waiver wire this week for backfield options. Doesn't feel great. Speaking of scouring the waiver wire for backfield options, if I've got Chase Brown, that's felt great. I mean, last week wasn't too bad, but this week, Liz, this was the Dolphins. Yeah, let's get into Bengals Dolphins. Bengals did come away victorious in this one, 31 to 24. Joe Burrow, I want to start with, though. Let's start at the top, OK? He only threw for 190 yards, but he tossed four touchdowns, managing nearly 25 fantasy points. Those touchdowns went to, unsurprisingly, Jamar Chase. More surprisingly, Samaje Pirine. Even more surprisingly, Tanner Hudson. And then Mike Gusecki gets a score in a revenge game against his old team. So that was nice. Let's start with Jamar Chase. I don't think anyone's. There were questions about whether or not he would play because he was in the protocol. He came in healthy, converted 6 of 10. We love double-digit targets. 77 receiving yards in that aforementioned touchdown. Nearly 20 fantasy points in this one. He is automatic. Chase Brown, this is. There's a lot in this matchup that's been triggering you. We'll start with Cincinnati. Chase Brown, your guy. My guy. Two years in a row. He struggled. He is driving that bus, friend. 16 touches for 60 scrimmage yards. Seven fantasy points. This is now his second single-digit fantasy total over the last three weeks. And this was supposed to be the game that he smashes. It's the Miami Dolphins. People don't throw four passing touchdowns against the Dolphins. They run for four rushing touchdowns. So how are you feeling moving forward? Well, how does it sound like I'm feeling, Liz? Well, it doesn't feel great. They are on bye in Week 6, Cincinnati, as is Miami. So there's a moment to maybe retool, get things back together. And then we'll regroup in Week 7. There's plenty of time. Chase Brown, as disappointing as sometimes his games are, he's still on a team. One of the. One of the highest-scoring teams in the NFL as a pass-catching running back that's still going to. Even though, you know, Samadji Piran got the goal line work. Yeah. You're going to keep rolling them out there, even if there's a disappointing game here and there. Again, another one of those versatile players. Yep. Speaking of a dual-threat player, let's talk about Malik Willis, who was kind of doing what we wanted Malik Willis to do in this effort. He didn't do much through the air. We don't really expect that, right? 15 of 27 for 137 passing yards. One touchdown, two interceptions. But he did produce on the ground eight carries for 74. And a rushing score. That was good for 18.8 fantasy points. Again, what we wanted out of him, what we thought could be possible. He's delivering. Malik Washington, just a quick mention, remains Willis' favorite target. A double. There you go. Double Malik's. Malik's gets you there. A W. Malik W. Both times. He caught, what, six of eight balls for 43 receiving yards, but has yet to find the end zone. I thought that could really happen in this matchup, given the Bengals' defense. But finally, let's end on the one One bright spot. Ollie Gordon, I know you're shaking your head because it keeps triggering you. 88 rushing yards and a score on 18 carries, 14.8 fantasy points. He has now managed a rushing touchdown in three straight games, his third straight effort with 14 or more fantasy points. This is a sixth-round pick doing what Devon A. Chan couldn't. And I think that is what is so confounding, triggering to so many. I don't want to, like, I just don't think that the skill set is here for Ollie Gordon to continue this over the course of the season. I know, that's the thing. You only know what you know. I just, it's, did Devon A. Chan get bad at football? Did they change something after he got hurt and now they're running it? No, I don't think so. The difference in skill sets here. Playing a touch better defensively. A touch, not a lot, but a touch better defensively. And I think teams, honestly, let their guard down against the Dolphins. That's a fair thing. They're going to win. It's a trap game every week. Kind of a trap game every week. Maybe Devon A. Chan just kind of got unlucky and Ollie Gordon has gotten lucky. You know, he's a low-end RB2 week in and week out. He's getting minimal. I mean, just nothing in the passing game. He's got to fall into the end zone. So, with him being able to do this, he's done this because he's gotten into the end zone. He's touchdown dependent, which is kind of what Devon A. Chan had turned out to be in the beginning because he wasn't getting as much of the receiving game work as I had wanted. Sure, yep. But how many running backs have we now just said are touchdown dependent? Well, a lot. Basically, 15 of the. We're halfway through the show. of the top 23. It's like Timber Gibbs, B. John Robinson. Yes, that's it. Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, and then it's. They're not catching balls. They're touchdown dependent. Yeah, yeah. There's so many of them. Another touchdown dependent running back unfortunately got banged up this week in Houston. Texans and Titans. We can be quick on this one. David Montgomery unfortunately got banged up. It had been struggling and trending the wrong direction, unfortunately, as an RB2 with us. Obviously, Woody Marks comes in and touches the ball, plays every snap once David Montgomery gets hurt. He's going to be a very heavily added waiver target this week, available in over 50% of leagues. We will spend a lot of time tomorrow talking about him. C.J. Stroud scored 20.9 fantasy points back-to-back weeks with over 20 fantasy points. It helped that he got six points from a rushing touchdown. Sure, those count. But they count, so we'll see how that works, obviously, moving forward. But I think the big thing that we. And, you know, Nico is Nico, regardless of what he looked like. Nico Collins is going to keep being that guy. The big news here is that this team traded for Marvin Harrison Jr. Yeah, baby. Trying to figure out what this is going to look like. Moving forward, obviously, didn't mean anything for us now, but just opening up a conversation about the offense, guys. You add Marvin Harrison Jr. If you were a Marvin Harrison Jr. manager, you're pumped because you're at least, hey, I'm in a new spot. I have potentially unlocked. Can't get worse, right? Right, exactly. Are you going to wait and see a couple weeks if you are a Marvin Harrison Jr. manager before you roll him out there? Definitely. Yeah. Okay. Kind of an unusual week for them, by the way. He's going all the way to London for his first game. So he's got to get to Houston today, got to, like, practice with the team. This week, I'm sure he'll play on Sunday, but I expect a very limited. I expect a limited role for Marvin Harrison Jr., but this is where, like, the test going forward is going to be whether Marvin Harrison Jr. is as advertised skillset-wise. Because if he fails in two separate teams, and I grant you that, like, I wouldn't say that Houston has necessarily been. This is not going to, like, the L.A. Rams, where it's like, if you go and you play with Sean McVay and you can't get it done there, then it's probably a you problem, not a Sean McVay problem. He's got a big sample size there. But it's. We're going to find out about Marvin Harrison Jr. But the theoretical value he has now in Houston is better than the zero value he had in Arizona. I'm willing to eat a huge game on my bench because I want to see it before I believe it. I'm okay with that if it happens with me with Marvin Harrison Jr. I think that that's the conversation you have to have with yourself. And, you know, it's interesting because, obviously, we know this team needed depth at the receiver position, and with them maybe not in this effort, but with their defense regressing, their secondary regressing as much as it did, they will need to do something. They will need to be chasing some points. So there is some added boost there, potentially, like Field said perfectly, theoretically, for MHJ. By the way, this feels like the trade. I get it. Houston will tell you we made this trade about the long term. He's a very talented player. This trade becomes much more interesting if the Texans win on Sunday in London against Jacksonville. I agree. Because they would then be, you know, just two games back of the Jaguars. Yep. We'll see what happens with both Indianapolis and Tennessee. They play each other. So I presume Indianapolis will be three. But Houston will get right back into the mix with the win on Sunday in London. On the other side of this one, unfortunately and quickly, Tennessee Titans were awful. And we thought this was going to be a potential smash spot for Carnell Tate, given what wide receivers had done against the Texans so far. At least 18 fantasy points. One catch here in this game. It just didn't look great. I think this is part of what's potentially going to happen in this Titans offense. You're going to have some weeks where they just don't look great. You're going to have some boom weeks where Carnell Tate does the things that we looked at. But. I think you're going to be in this spot where even if you feel like this is one of those good games, this offense isn't as good as some of the others in the NFL. It's not just going to be as. It's easier to take away a number one when there's a clear number one. Also the. And a struggling quarterback, a streaky quarterback. And Taji Spears had a. I was just laughing. He had nine catches yesterday. Yeah, a bunch in the receiving area. But they don't have a fantastic run game either to be able to. To stabilize. Yeah, so it's a tough one right now if you're a Titans fan. Carnell Tate, the only guy that we are hoping maybe gets back on track. Well, Lawndale Robinson. But I've sort of lost my Lawndale Robinson faith through the first five weeks of the season. Same here. Improved swallowing. How about this? It proactively treats EOE so you can get ahead of it. I didn't realize I was back-to-back here. Vikings and Saints as well. Do your, buddy. Vikings have a bye in week six for what it's worth. As a reminder, Justin Jefferson, 18 fantasy points. You love to be able to see that. Aaron Jones, over 100 rushing yards and a touchdown, which is big because they're going on to a bye this week. And once they come back from a bye, we're going to assume that Jordan Mason at least has a chance to be a part of this backfield again. Sounds like he will. He will be back in what will be week seven. Week seven. So, I'm not sure that we're going to see Aaron Jones delivering this level of value for our fantasy squads moving forward. Hopefully, you got the last of it here in week five and it helped you out. Kyler didn't look terrible. 18.2 fantasy points as well. Do you believe that when you look at Kyler Murray, he's someone that you would, I mean, this was against the Saints. Yes, that's the problem. That's, okay. Yes, he completed 80% of his passes. I wouldn't say that Kyler has been a particularly impressive passer so far this year. He still struggled downfield is what I was saying. He could, his legs are back, but, you know. Oh, it's. It also was, I would say it was more a testament to Justin Jefferson. The touchdown to Jefferson. There are three defenders all the way around. Ridiculous play by Jefferson. Probably ill-advised throw by Kyler, but it still works. I have, I do not have faith in Kyler Murray as my quarterback at all, even with what we saw yesterday. Through three full healthy games, Kyler has two passing touchdowns so far. So, it doesn't feel great right now with what we're doing. On the other side of this one, Tyler Shuck, who I think we all love, looked rough. Awful. He has negative fantasy points in this game. Guys. Guys, he's quarterback 31 on the week and 28 have played so far. So, Fernando Mendoza and Case Keenum outscored Tyler Shuck. Case Keenum barely outscored Tyler Shuck. Barely, but yes. But he did. Yes. I mean, it's preposterous. And we told you, we came into the week and we said, you know what? Let's talk about the Saints offense and let's see what they're made of this week. I didn't think we could talk about negative fantasy points. No. Brian Flores. We saw the matchup. Blitzed him. Blitzed him at a 90% rate. He's a madman. Unbelievable. This is what I'm going to say is just, it's a throwaway game in my estimation from a fantasy perspective. I like Tyler Shuck more than this. I like Chris Olave more than this. I like Jawan Johnson more than this. This game is just a throwaway game. It was not good against a really tough Vikings defense. Hopefully, better days are ahead. The only thing there that, again, they're kind of a low upside running back room in general, but Alvin Kamara seeded some snaps yesterday. I wonder if he hit him with the back. Yeah. Back injury. Sort of hanging on by a thread as it is. If it's going to be like that, like if he's still managing this back for the next few weeks, only decreases the chances of Alvin Kamara having any chance. I know that I'm probably overdoing it with my expectations, but the Saints got to frigging lean into Travis H. when he gets back. You have to. It's so obvious how much they need an actual running back to help them out in offense. We'll see whether they do when he is back. Well, let's hope Kellen Moore takes the note. Let's talk about the linebackers. Daniel, your Lions and the Cardinals, 45. 25-21, congratulations. Dan Campbell's bell cow continued to eat. 25 carries for 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Another five catches on top of that for 56 receiving yards. 37.7 fantasy points. This is his third game in five that have gone over 30 fantasy points. Absolutely ridiculous. Sonic all the way. Jared Goff also. I think this has been a bit surprising. He acquitted himself quite well in this matchup. He threw for a mistake-free 271 yards, three touchdowns, 28.9 fantasy points. Don't look now, but Jared Goff is the QB3. You had it up in fantasy. I thought you were just saying you love me. Fantasy points per game. Amon Ross St. Brown, we will forgive him for this. He got going a little bit late, but we'll take it. He converted 6 of 11 for 69 receiving yards. That was good for nearly 13 fantasy points. He's allowed Sam Laporta. This is one call that I made that actually turned out right heading into this week. Thank you. He put together another monster effort. Beautiful game. Led the team in receiving yards with 88 on five grabs. 19.8 fantasy points. That's three games above 17 fantasy points for Laporta now. His back, his hip, ain't nothing. He is fine. And Jamison Williams, some might say that he got lucky. Others would say that he was due. Only two catches, but both of them in the end zone for a cool 18.7 fantasy points. This is the Jamo coaster, my friend. Also, I looked this up because I wanted to see how involved he was. Jamis Williams right now, the wide receiver five in routes run just behind Amon Ross St. Brown. Out there a bunch and being utilized within that offense. Jared Goff, 12 passing touchdowns, zero interceptions. Look at the smile on him. Plus a rushing touchdown. I hate you. Plus a rushing. Touchdown. It was so good. One of our friends in the Michigan men chat is always questioning Jared Goff. I believe it is. Josh is the one. Yes. Josh. Skeptic. Yes, he is. He has been the Jared Goff skeptic. Is it because Goff definitely needs his mittens when he plays outside? You know what? He's got mittens right now. I'll take this man to start the season. And obviously when you don't have this rushing upside, what he's doing right now is kind of Matthew Stafford esque from last year without any legs whatsoever. But both Matthew Stafford last year and Jared Goff this year, they have the offense that they could do it. It's just a. It's a difficult thing to do. One of my hot takes for the year, remember, was Jared Goff. Absolutely. And Jared Goff's defense is helping him continue to throw. So if you did, speaking of the Detroit Lions defense, stream Jacoby Brissett because of the matchup, you were rewarded. It was not pretty to watch necessarily, but the numbers were the numbers. He threw the ball 47 times in catch-up mode, managed 29 completions for 292 passing yards, three touchdowns once again, one interception, also caught a pass for seven yards. Sure, why not? Thrown by Michael Wilson. He's the QB. Six heading into Monday night football. So I was working on my week six quarterback rankings and I have by who faces the Lions next week is quarterback three. That's mean. That is perfect. That's so mean. I mean, I love it. Yeah, we don't get the Lions to stream again, so we don't get the Vikings to stay away against. I want my DFS stack this week and I don't have a DFS stack against Detroit either because of it. Unsurprisingly, Trey McBride led the Cardinals in targets with 10. He ended up with nine grabs, 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's his third score of the season. 21.6 fantasy points. Somebody, I believe he directed Reservoir Dogs called Tegan Quintanaro. Yes. Quentin Tarantino. Yes. Yes. Yes. He hauled in two of Brissette's three touchdowns for 15.5 fantasy points. What the fantasy? Okay, fine. Also, he entered Sunday having recorded just two receptions since the beginning of 2023. So there you go. Normal stuff. The takeaway here is that Detroit continues to be a boon to the tight end position. Speaking of movies, the Bourne. I don't know. The Bourne Identity Franchise was resuscitated in the desert because Kendrick Bourne made an appearance. Second in team targets with eight looks. End of the day with five catches for 70 receiving yards. Might be the team's new wide receiver too with MHJ at the door. And I don't want to end this on a womp womp. Yeah, there's something to keep an eye on. This is a massive story. Jeremiah Love struggled again. Game script didn't help him, but just 22 rushing yards on 12 totes. That's 1.8. But isn't it supposed to help him? Yes, I was going to say that because the backup. Well, because of the passing? Yeah. Yeah. Because Tyler Algier to me is not the receiving game back. If you're down the entire game, I would think Jeremiah Love would be a part of this offense. So, like, here's the only thing that I'll say about Jeremiah Love. The only thing that the Cardinals could say right now that would make me feel a little more at ease is, hey, listen, man, he's really banged up right now. That foot or that ankle is so bad, we just can't tell you about it. That doesn't seem to be the case. No. But over the past two weeks, Jeremiah Love has negative impact. Eight receiving yards. That's bad. He's yet to reach 20 receiving yards in a game this season. I posted this on social media, and some people were like, well, we overused the term weapon in pre-draft discourse about running backs. Okay, I'm not asking for them to line Jeremiah Love up opposite of Michael Wilson to play wide receiver. No. I'm hoping for positive receiving yards. It's like, how do they utilize Jameer Gibbs and Bijan Robinson in their respective offenses? Very creatively in the passing game. Yep. He had. Jameer Gibbs had five catches for 56 yards yesterday. And you don't bat an eyelash. You're just like, that's what you do when you have a guy like Jameer Gibbs. What is the point of making this investment in Jeremiah Love to not utilize. And I get it. Tyler Algier's fine. Okay, I'm not asking for 30 carries a game for Jeremiah Love. But even if you're going to use him as a part-time player, wouldn't the part of part-time be the receiving opportunity? Well, you're not asking for 30 carries, but you might be asking for close to 30 touches. And I think that's the argument. And the argument also around him is not. It's not dissimilar than the one we had about Ashton Gentry at the top of the show. Yeah, it's. Do you just give him a week to get healthy and figure it out? Yeah. The Gentry thing seems like a legitimate, like, he's really playing through it. Do you think Love was. Jeremiah Love is like, I think this just might be a really bad offense. But they score a lot of points in other ways. The broadcast crew was speculating about it quite loudly. I don't know if you're right, if that's an excuse. The best part of draft, if you're going to take a running back early, you got to get the most out of that player during the first four to six years of his career. That's what I was just going to say. There's a long ways to go for Jeremiah Love. You just hope they don't punt on this rookie season. You mentioned. I mean, when you look at Jameer Gibbs and Bajon Robinson, both running backs who were drafted early in the first round by their franchises, they are locked in on exactly what Field is talking about. We are going to find ways to put the balls in the hands of the guys. Yeah, you got to pay your play. Let's talk about the Broncos and Chargers. Are we just going to pass on basically both of these entire offenses, guys? Can we be honest about this? I think, yeah. I think we've reached the point where we can just be very succinct about everything involving the Chargers. Yes. Chargers is super easy. Justin Herbert, I'm out. I can cut him. It's not even just a bench. We're done there. From a running back perspective, Kamani Vidal scored a touchdown, got 12.6 fantasy points. They're utilizing Keaton Mitchell. Sometimes you see some explosive plays out of him. They're also giving the ball to Omari and Hampton. It's a full-on committee. All three of them struggle. I don't want to play any of these guys unless I have to. I think the question with Omari and Hampton, unfortunately, has veered into this territory. The role's not going to be good. He played 32% of the snaps yesterday. The touchdown upside's going to be low. The question is, how good of a player is he? Right. It's like we've had a few separate opportunities this year where it's like, wow, that was a legitimately really great play by Kamani Vidal. Why don't we stumble into one of those for Omari and Hampton? I hear that question. I think about what he did last year and think to myself, boy, I'm not sure I've seen someone bury an offense as badly as Mike McDaniel has so far this year. I hear you. I mean, with the expectations. For our purposes. None of them are worth a squat. None of them. Nothing. Not one Charger is worth discussing until further notice. Even Ladd-McConkie, the only way that I would play Ladd-McConkie is if he was completely fully healthy. Full practice, full practice, full practice, full practice. If we got transparency about that. Correct. And I'm on bye weeks. Yes. And I have to then be like, all right, well, I guess I have to start him, but at least he's fully healthy in this matchup. He was active and played zero snaps yesterday, which Adam Schefter kind of warned us. But anyways, Chargers, let's just not bring up the Chargers until further notice. They play the Chiefs. The Chargers are out. And Denver's roulette. Yeah. Honest, Bo Nix under 14 and a half fantasy points in all but one game so far this year. I don't want to start him if I don't have to. The running back situations, this is one of the running back dead zones that we've talked about. I know Dobbins got in the end zone. But it took him getting into the end zone. But it took him getting in the end zone. And then you look at the other two guys. Cortland Sutton got in the end zone also and finished with what? You get six points plus a catch. That's seven points just for a touchdown catch. He finished with 9.8. I'm not saying that Davis Webb was doing a good job, but it's very clear to me that the biggest problem in Denver was not just the play call. No. On offense. Oh, no. No, no. We talked about this, too. He was the under center. I think Sean Payton had in the first half. Was it the first half? He had like seven people with carries and nine different players that had like a target or something like that. It's all bad. It was just spreading around. 16 different players on offense were utilized. Both of these offenses, the Broncos and the Chargers, are I hope I don't have to start anyone in fantasy. And if I do, it's because I probably have no other better options on my squad. But right now, we're just in a stay away mode for both these squads. Agreed on that. The Niners and Seahawks played a great game. Came down. To a measurement of Cooper Cup, who was, it was real short on the field. Ended up being short if the Seahawks had converted. Maybe they kick Jason Myers' sixth field goal of the day. But the Niners win 32 to 29. We talked about Brock Purdy maybe being in a tough spot in this game. 16 points, 16 fantasy points. Not bad. No. Definitely not like a great effort from Brock Purdy. We told you kind of beware of this. He was helped because they had an 11-yard touchdown drive at the beginning of the game. Sam Darnall was all over. He had two bad interceptions yesterday. But let's talk about the Niners. Christian McCaffrey, just sort of right there in the mix. It's like a mid-tees, you know, somewhere between, I don't know, he's not RB1, 2, or 3. He's somewhere between RB4 and on the low end, RB6, right? Three catches, 15 receiving yards. I feel less, I understand where you're coming from. Who would you rather have ahead of him? Like, who's definitely ahead of him amongst running backs? Jonathan Taylor? No. No. Right? Is it? KW? KW3? Yes, he's 1, 2, 3. It's Gibbs, Bijon, Kennebacher, the third. 1, 2, 3. Whatever order you want. It's not James Cook. It's not Jonathan Taylor. Wait, you're saying I don't want those people over Christian McCaffrey? I might want Jonathan. You don't definitively want them over Christian McCaffrey. I think you don't definitively want them over Christian McCaffrey. All right, that's fine. I mean. I would rather, I might rather have Kyron Williams. Right now, I'd rather have Derrick Henry. Okay, interesting. All right, well, CMC right there, close to it. We don't have to. Litigate it. The bottom line is CMC. Once again, yesterday, over 17 fantasy points. He had played 80% of the snaps. When games matter, Christian McCaffrey is going to play. Absolutely. He made a difficult matchup. Yes, very tough matchup. Mike Evans turned the clock back yesterday. He was ridiculous. 26.3 fantasy points. I know, that was amazing. All right, all right. All-time taunt of Trayvon Diggs. It's been great. One of the great values. And he's the only man standing of this Niners wide receiver room. Debo Samuel gets hurt. Hamstring injury. Already ruled out. Brandon Cook's had a touchdown yesterday. I know. People are like, wait, he's on the Niners? So, George Kittle had kind of a dud yesterday. Five for 24. Things are an illness. Yeah, but guys, Mike Evans, amazing. For the Niners, it's going to be CMC. It's going to be Purdy. It's going to be Kittle. And with all the injuries, it's going to be Mike Evans next week. Seahawks, we had a problem here. The problem is not Jackson Smith and Jigba. He was awesome once again. Five for 102 with a touchdown. Also had play. It almost looked like a Sam Darnold pass, but it was ruled a rush. This could have easily been an extra. It could have been 23.8 points as opposed to 22.8 points. He's great. They play on Thursday night. Wouldn't surprise me if JSN is a DNP today and tomorrow in practice because he was clearly battling something with his ankle yesterday. Fox broadcast Brady and Burkhart were all over this, and they said he was refusing medical attention, not sounding the alarms for Thursday night and not playing. But if you see DNP, DNP, don't be shocked. The Seahawks have a backfield problem. Nobody called the ball. I mean, guys, it was a comedy. It was a comedy of errors yesterday. George Helani had two fumbles. He had one fumble that he recovered, one that he did not recover, and the Niners recovered it for a touchdown at the end of the first half. I don't know where the answers come from, whether Zach Charbonnet comes back soon, but it's still until Zach Charbonnet or somebody else has added the Emmanuel Wilson show, he ends up with 13.2 fantasy points. But for the Seahawks, really, it's Emmanuel Wilson, and then it's JSN, and then it's Emmanuel Wilson on the periphery. So that's it. No major surprises there for Seattle otherwise. Yep. Let's talk about Ravens and Falcons, my friends. Fun finish to the night last night. Very fun finish. Snoop Huntley, guys, had a, I mean, first off, looks great running the ball, but that man can throw some piss missiles, let me tell you. 24 fantasy points, absolutely crushes in this one. If you got Derrick Henry, Derrick Henry had 102 receiving yards. Does that say a receiving touchdown next to his box score? It sure does. Yes, it does. Yep. We love it when that happens with big Derrick Henry. Derrick Henry, Tyler Huntley, honestly looked fantastic. 24 for 32, 201 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, plus a rushing touchdown. I mean, this is like, this is everything you could ever want. He got Zay Flowers involved, which as a part of it, the two guys that we want to make sure are still involved. If there's not Lamar Jackson, it's Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry. Both of those guys still ate. We love that. And Snoop, if for some reason he has to roll it back and Lamar misses more time, give me a little bit more excitement to potentially utilize him as a streaming option in upcoming weeks. I think I almost, my eyes were received. They were receiving me for a while, but I think I almost saw Kyle Pitt score a touchdown last night. It was somebody that looked like him. You did see Kyle Pitt score a touchdown. It's true. Wow. It's true. First touchdown of the season. Didn't love it for Atlanta because I did sort of want a little bit more to go towards our guy, Drake London. Sometimes I did want a little bit more. What do you get? Nine. A hundred and eighteen receiving yards. Yeah. Yeah. But did he get in the end zone? No. Okay. Well, I wanted him to be the one. Okay. Were you down by like 22 and you needed 22? I need it. You need a little bit more than just that. Yeah. Yeah. Hard to argue with what Drake London did last night. Yeah. He really crushed. He needed more there. The biggest problem is that Michael Penix Jr. might be out next week against the Bears. MRI on his ribs scheduled for today. Tua came in in overtime, unfortunately. And threw it up. Threw an interception right off the bat. Threw it right to Kyle Hamlin. Yeah. It wasn't great, unfortunately. That is going to potentially impact the way that we feel about these players, but I don't think it's going to impact the way that I'm going to rank either B. John Robinson or Drake London if Michael Penix can't go. When I say that, I'm still going to be starting. It'll impact the way I start. When I start, I rank Drake London. It will not impact whether or not I play Drake London. That's a better way to say that. I think that's fair. Yeah. B. John, and the thing about B. John is that he had 15.8 fantasy points last night, which is a totally passable number. The problem with B. John now, and this goes to Jameer Gibbs on the other side as well, is that it's no longer measuring whether 15.8 fantasy points is okay or not. It's not 30. Yes. Right. Did the other guy, did the other mutant go for 30 or not? Yeah. And when one of them goes for 37.7, the other one goes for 15.8, you're like, oh, my God. You're like, God damn it. I should have taken the other guy. 60 fantasy points? Yeah. Meanwhile, we're sitting here and we're like, yeah, you know, like, Chase Bryant, he could probably get you 12 next week. Maybe Scadaboo gets you 10. It's like, oh, B. John, only 15.8. It's amazing. So it's a funny game we play. B. John will be fine. He looked awesome once again last night. As he always does. Multiple explosive runs. Just didn't find the end zone. Yep. Going to definitely await word on that MRI, obviously, and see what that means for this Falcons offense. Guys, let's talk about Monday Night Football. Yep. Bills and Rams in this one. A couple of lineup blocks. And, I mean, I would think, obviously, we got Josh Allen, lineup block. James Cook, lineup block. D.J. Moore is not 100%. We're still waiting for some official word on that. Obviously, we're at the point now where it's Monday Night Football. You're probably past the, I might have someone else to roll if I don't go with D.J. Moore. Mike Clay suggested a Colby Parkinson pivot. Potential tight end. Or Keon Coleman if you added him off waivers. But we'll see on D.J. Moore. Sounded, he traveled. That's a good sign. But it sounds like this one's still up in the air, truly. Yep. 6.50 is when you'll find out for certain on D.J. Moore. And if you were a Keon Coleman manager that was hoping that you could start him and D.J. Moore wouldn't go, all you can do is just continue to hope. If Keon Coleman, I'm sorry, if D.J. Moore is out, Keon Coleman's in. Like, he's a top 30 wide receiver player. Well, you might not have a choice because it's Monday Night Football. But, yes, yes. You would feel a lot better about your Keon Coleman shares. For the Rams offense, it's as chalk as it can get. You're starting Puka. You're starting Devontae Adams. You're starting Ryan Williams. And then who's the other fourth one? Matthew Stafford. Well, if you have to. Yeah. I think Stafford. This matchup. I mean, Drake May was quarterback one against the Bills last week. Over under 54 and a half. I mean, we're expecting a lot of points in this one. That's fair. I didn't start Matthew Stafford. Maybe I just had better quarterback options. You might have. Yeah, yeah. But I'm saying if you have Matthew Stafford and you were considering him. Yes. It's not because you've screwed up the quarterback position. This is a legitimately good week to be starting Matthew Stafford. Do you remember who you took in this one? I don't. I think I took the Rams, but I don't recall. You took the Rams. Okay. I took the Rams. Liz, speaking on behalf of Mike Clay, are you going on with the Rams or Bills in this one? They are three. Three-point favorites at home. I'm taking the Rams. Mike actually picked the Bills, right? Mike did pick the Bills, yes. Mike picked the Bills. So one of us will be right. That's why we call it an upgrade. Anything you need? Any Monday Night Miracles you guys need tonight? Yes, I need two Monday Night Miracles. Okay. In order to get a dub against Tyler Fulgham, I need both Josh Allen and Puka Nakua combined to score under 38.5 fantasy points. That's why it's called a miracle. I'd probably prefer to beat Tyler. I would, too. That's why it's a miracle. We'll see. We'll see. This Rams defense is legit. Under 38.5, so that's what I'm hoping for in this one. Josh Allen's back-to-back not great. I need Kyron to stay under 25.1 to beat our friend Adam Schefter in the War Room. Okay. I'd say it's like he's definitely not out of it, but that's a good night. So it's coin flippy. Fair. I need 21 points out of James Cook. Okay. That's doable. That's doable. He's got to give him the ball at the goal line. Yes. Not going to receive him. Just get in the end zone. He's touchdown dependent. Oh, Liz. I've got to do that. That's a good finish to the show, right? All right. We're going to wrap it up. Thank you so much for hanging out with us. Have fun watching Monday Night Football. We'll be back tomorrow. Liz and I with Mike Clay. I'm sorry, Liz. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself, you guys. You deserve it. We'll see you guys tomorrow. We'll see you next time. new or worsening joint aches and pain, or a parasitic infection or asthma. Learn more at Dupixent.com or call 1-844-DUPIXENT.
