Our Favorite 2026 Fantasy Football Picks in Every Round
89m 19s
The hosts of the fantasy football show analyze their favorite picks across each draft round, emphasizing balance between safety and upside. In round one, Jimi Gibbs is highlighted for his potential 25 touchdowns and elite rushing schedule, while James Cook and Almond Ross are praised for consistency. Round two features Chase Brown and Derek Henry as top options, with Henry’s recent red-zone success suggesting a recovery. Round three is described as high-risk due to multiple injuries, with Kyron Williams and Rishi Rice standing out despite health concerns. Round four includes Lad McConkey and Emeka Boca, though Boca’s turf toe raises red flags. Round five favors Luther Burton over Tyler Warren due to better health and offensive integration. In round six, Christian Watson, Mike Evans, and Parker Washington are deemed top picks, with Watson and Evans offering proven production. Round seven is seen as problematic, with only Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence offering strong upside due to new systems and coaching. The overarching strategy is to avoid high-risk picks and instead target players with proven performance and lower injury risk, focusing on late-round "fall" opportunities to maximize value. The discussion underscores the importance of injury awareness, offensive alignment, and drafting value over hype, especially in rounds where player health and team dynamics create significant variance. Ultimately, the hosts advocate for a conservative, data-driven approach to drafting, prioritizing consistency and reliability in the face of uncertainty.
[MUSIC] Welcome to Ring of Fantasy football show. My name is Danny Hyper today. I'm joined by Danny Kelley and Craig Horlbeck. Still in a way, baby. >> Stay moved here. I'm really moved here and they did. They bought homes this weekend. >> [LAUGH] >> We are going over our favorite picks in every round for fantasy football drafts. We are basically a week away from the season. We're recording this Monday, August 31st on the afternoon. I don't know why I said on the afternoon. That doesn't make any sense. Losing my mind a little. >> You're tan though, you're tan. >> I went to play golf in San Diego. We'll hit that later. >> [LAUGH] >> We're going to go through our favorite. >> I'm not. >> No, wasn't going to say it, but no. We're going to go through our favorite picks in every round. We're going to go through half point, perception, average draft position. And we're going to literally just be like, we like these guys maybe probably take them, give or take. >> Yeah, we're going to talk about which rounds we think are the best in general. There are some rounds where we like half the picks and there are other rounds where we don't like any. So we'll get into each of that and which ones to focus on. >> Later in the episode, we'll get to the Ram Sighting, Aaron Donald and that 49ers guy with the helmet everywhere. I know, it's, that was by Aaron Donald. >> Actually, you just want a Super Bowl. >> I thought it was with the 49ers guy. >> Can you just be happy about this Super Bowl? >> Where's Casey, you don't win the Super Bowl this year? >> You guys stop. >> Stop trying to win the Super Bowl. >> High fits, first of all, you need to stop trying to gaslight me or everyone else into thinking I'm not happy the Ceeox won the Super Bowl because that's bullshit. I am very happy. >> I'm very happy once about the Super Bowl. >> Shut the hell up. >> Been tepid. >> No, that's not true. I'm celebrating with my friends over here. You can't see them, you don't know. Anyway, continue. I do hate the 49ers though for the record. This guy that's scammed people. Terrible, terrible. >> All right, round one. >> I was going to go back in with the Ceeox. >> Do we have to take a break? >> Yeah, right, we're going to take a break. >> Christ. >> This episode is presented by Verizon. So we're just going to go increments of 12, which of these guys we think are the best players. And round one's kind of weird because it's round one. So obviously, the best pick is like Jimi or Gibbs. And picking him is kind of lame, right? But we're going to go through-- We have not talked about this. We don't know who each other's picking. So we're just going to go through. But I think picking Jimi or Gibbs is kind of lame. Here's what I'll say. I have Jimi or Gibbs highlighted. >> All the number one overall pick. >> No, but I actually think like for the price, it still is my favorite pick. I'd say you're being an auction draft and you can have anybody you want. I do think paying up for Gibbs this year. Sometimes the first pick is like a little softer. I think this one might seem soft because he's not. He might not be as famous as he is good yet. Usually it's like Safe One Barclay Christian McCaffrey's the number one pick. Gibbs is like, I think next year after this. It's like, okay, he's in kind of a different category. I want to read one stat about Jimi or Gibbs. Because I think he could score 25 touchdowns this year. Last season Gibbs had fewer rushing attempts inside the 10-yard line than David Montgomery. Like that alone, I'm like, holy shit, David Montgomery's obviously gone. The Lions have the easiest kept on the NFL. And not only that, this is from Rich Rebar. They have the easiest ranked rushing schedule this season. David Montgomery getting more than 50% of the inside the 10 and inside the five carries. And now he's gone. I legitimately think Gibbs could have like 25 touchdowns this year. And that's why I think it's totally worth like paying up for him in an auction draft. Can I read another stat about Jimi or Gibbs? No, okay. Yes, no, go ahead. Jimi or Gibbs has more touchdowns through three seasons than any other NFL player ever. There we go. That's so that's good. Can you name the backup running back on the Lions currently? Yeah, the most the healthiest one. Oh no, they're all fake. I wrote a shot. I actually know he's not on the team anymore. Rocky who was a safety in college. Remember Craig Reynolds like a couple of years ago. Yeah, he's not there. I'm here. Do we always take that? Jacob Salier's. Salier, Salier's. Salier you. No, yeah. Do you know where he went to college? Have you ever heard of him? Norfolk state. Close. East Tennessee state. Okay, but let's move on from Gibbs. Who else do you think is the best value in the first round? If it's not Gibbs at one, and there have been years that we're like, yeah, you think it's guy first, but we actually would rather pick fourth than first. Yes, this year first is like the best pick. I think so. So it's your point. If you can pick where you pick, you want the first pick. If not, I actually think James Cook at nine. Like if you have James Cook fell to me in. Let's say the ringer league at 11. Yeah, hypothetically. I've been created. That's great. So I just think James Cook who led the league in rushing our last year and then you're before rushing touchdowns, just, oh, great. That's on me. That's on me. His computer just made a noise, by the way. They, yeah, they heard. They heard it in here. Maybe they didn't. I do agree with you. I mean, I think I think James Cook has like a level league in rushing last year. I think he has a great combination of foreign ceiling just because this is a guy who was like seen as more of a pass catching running back at a college and hasn't done that a whole lot. Pete Carmichael the new OC, which he'll braid you the new head coach. If that becomes more of a thing, I think his ceiling is even higher. There's also, I don't really believe in this because like, Josh Allen's not that old yet. I feel like there's a lot of discussion around these quarterbacks like Lamar and Josh Allen. It's like, well, they're running now. Are they going to run last? I'm like, maybe when they're 34, I don't exactly believe that's going to happen now. But I guess you could factor in if Josh Allen, Bill and Savage joking about like, he's a father now. Maybe he want to protect himself. Like, maybe James Cook gets even more of that. But for all, but I do agree with you. I had James Cook as like my one B. The other guy that I really like. If you don't have the first pick and you're kind of waffling, you don't know who to take. You want just a confidence pick in the first round. Almond Ross St. Brown is like printing money. I mean, he's like having a fantasy points ATM. I mean, outside of Jummer Gibbs. I totally agree with you about Jummer Gibbs. He's probably my favorite player in the entire draft. But Almond Ross every year. It's just 15 points a game. He's going to get a ton of targets. He's still the number one receiver in that offense. He still has a great connection with Jared Goff. I just feel like. And also, by the way, he's 17, 17, 16, 16. Those are the games he's played in the last four years. He's reliable. You know, knock on wood. Like, you don't have to worry about anything with him. Just can I remember? So if Bill Sittons would have called this the 10-100-1,000 club, which is guys who had 10 touchdowns, 100 catches, and 1,000 yards, and three seasons. Not even just three in a row, but just like three seasons of your career. The entire list is basically, it's Devonte Adams, Antonio Brown, Marvin Harrison Senior, Travis Kelsey, Brandon Marshall Randomly, and Jerry Rice, and Ammond Ross. Yeah. And Ammond Ross done it three consecutive years. That's a career total count. Yeah. In the last, he's actually a 10-100-1,200. And he's 26 years old. Yeah. Yeah. About as good a pick, safe a pick as you can make. He's averaged 15 points a game over the last four seasons, which is third most, among all receivers. I agree. Jamar and Puker are the only guys that have scored more on average over that stretch. I fully agree on the three names we named, as we're correct. So Jamir Gibbs, James Cook, and Ammond Ross in Brown. Those are three of the most consistent players in the last three years. Okay, that's the easy part, round one. Round two, DK, who's your favorite pick in round two? Relative to the call. Right. I went with Chase Brown for the Bengals. This one's hard, because there's a lot of guys in here. I love Derek Henry. I picked him in the ringer league in the first round. You did. But Chase Brown, I just think, is the great combination of floor and ceiling that you really look for, because he's going to catch a lot of passes as well. I mean, in the games in which he played with Joe Burrow. He was heavily involved in the passing game. Got almost all the snaps. Again, this is another guy. It's like James Cook, not a lot of competition in the back field. And so I just, I really love his upside. The offense combined with the opportunity, like the overall total points, I think the Bengals are going to score this year is why I really put him down here. Another guy took in the ringer league. Chase Brown, my second pick. So DK, you're really just saying I had the perfect draft. Who is your first round guy? James Cook and then you went Chase Brown. Yeah, wow. I totally agree with you. I think he's a wonderful value. The guy I highlighted, Chase Brown is going 14th overall in drafts. Four spots later is Derek Henry at 18, who you took in the first round, I think smartly. Kind of just to make if it's mad too, but yeah, that wasn't enough of that going around to make your face. Well, that was early, that was early. Yeah, I want to throw out. There's like, I don't need to give you a stat to tell you, Derek Henry was good. But I do want to mention one thing that that stuck out to me as I was, I was doing some, some light reading this week. Derek Henry had 16 touchdowns last year, which is obviously a lot. He was second to last in points scored versus expectations in the red zone. And he had the worst short yardage output of his career last year. Do we think that's going to turn around? Do we think that's a variant stat? I don't think he's like, yes, I would, I would much more likely to bet that the short yardage stuff gets better than like he suddenly just is bad. Yeah, that's how they replace both guards stat. Yes, a little bit better, even if the center situation's worth. I just, I just, 16 touchdowns and he was terrible inside the, the red zone is kind of, he's one of, yeah, he's one of very few players in the NFL. I think that if he scored 20 touchdowns, you're like, yeah. Think about the differences at defense. Never mind again, the guards being bad and now the guards being better is one thing, but think about just being a linebacker.
and having to worry about Lamar Jackson sprinting at full speed versus last year having a hamstring issue. Like there's like again, Lamar Jackson and Derek Henry is the greatest thunder lightning combo in a backfield ever. And when Lamar is at full speed, it's it's the coolest one too. Certainly. Yeah. And I had Derek Henry too. Oh, did you okay? I thought you were going to put AJ Brown here. I like AJ Brown a lot at 20. But Derek Henry flew into 18 again. Derek Henry's last 34 games, regular season. Derek Henry's last 34 games. He has 3500 yards and 34 touchdowns. Tractor. Tractor. CTO, baby. And we're just inventing like 11 other running backs to go ahead of him. And he just keeps getting better. I mean, like not only like week 17 last year, he had 200 yards and four touchdowns if you were in the fantasy championship with him. Yeah, I remember that. He just keeps. Yeah. I just I just struck. I fit over here. Yeah. That was frustrating. Okay, round three. Yeah, round three. We were reading the names. Yeah. Oh, yes, we've been doing that. Well, I feel like the first round. Now that we get into like yeah, now that it's round three. Okay, how about this? Someone raise your hand when you when your player comes up. So round three. I'm not going to make a sound or just raise our hand. I'll make a sound of your choosing. Okay. Whatever sound you make, just in case if people are only listening. Right. Yeah. Well, you're right. I just make a sound. I'll think on your sound. I hate this round. I think it sucks. Wow. So round three is Trey McBride that tied in for the Cardinals. Who's good, but I hate the Cardinals. Chris Olavi for the Saints. Who I'm like, man, it's just really high to take Chris Olavi. Kyron Williams for the Rams. Oh, God. I made a noise. That was good. Nice. Like an old timey. Okay. Okay. William Kyron. Do you want me to give my spiel or do you want to keep going? Just spiel. That's fine. This is almost exactly the same as the Chase Brown thing. He has a little more competition this year in Kyron Williams or sorry in Blitchorum. They're basically twins, which is why I says name. Twins bass. But like basically Kyron, the equation with him is he is the lead back in one of the best offenses in the NFL. I want a piece of that offense. Historically, McVeigh has shown complete trust in Kyron Williams. Last year, he was the RB 11 and points for game over 14 points for game. And that was after seeing his snap rate drop 20%. I think again, the floor is really solid. Top 10, top 11, or whatever. But if Chorum maybe gets hurt or Chorum is just not as involved this year, we're talking on top five, top four in potential. And again, this is an offense that completely trust. This is an offense that could score more rushing touchdowns than it did last year because they threw a lot from the one yard line, not only in the red zone, but like from the one yard line. They were throwing a ton. And so yes, again, to me, he's on the field all the time in a really good offense. I think he's a really good player. He's involved in the passing game. And he could just score more touchdowns this year. He's over 10 touchdowns each of last three years. He's my favorite running back in this round for sure. That's just because everyone else sucks because the rest of everyone else is a little risky. Jeremiah Love for the Cardinals who's a rookie who's already has a high ankle sprain. It's Blake neighbors who is elite if he's fully healthy, but we have no idea if he's fully healthy for the Giants. Javante Williams from the Cowboys. And then Breeze Hall, the running back for the Jets, Devont is Smith for the Eagles. Rishi Rice on the Chiefs who is also recovering from an offense. He's amazing. That's me. Oh, absolutely. And to me, I think he should be clearly a second rounder. We kind of have we're not talking about him a lot. I just really wanted him in the third round. I think Chang took him. Rishi Rice every time he plays is legitimately a top five receiver in fantasy. I looked at it. He had the ACL. The second he came back, top five receiver in fantasy, like immediately for the final however many games it was last year. If you go just look at the last 17 games, Rishi Rice has been healthy. This is his stat line. 120 catches against 17 games. Normal season, his last 17 healthy games, 120 catches, 1400 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Chiefs did nothing to their receiving core. Travis Kelsey's year older Xavier worthy and Ken Walker's there. I'm almost worried like the only thing to me. I'm like, can he hold up? He's going to get targeted too much. He's last year. He was fourth in targets per game behind Jamar Chase, Pukka, Nukuah, and Amonron. That's it. He is targeted amongst the highest players in the league and so I'm like, yeah, the knee thing in jail is obviously worrisome. But he came back from the ACL last year and was immediately great. I'm just like, if this guy gets 12 targets a game and he just gets creamed over the middle all season, is he going to be able to fucking hold up? But I think at this spot, I thought about it. I thought about it. Across my mind, I just try to creade forward. I thought I made it. I made it out. For reference, Jackson Smith and Jigbel last year in 17 games had 119 catches. So he was basically on the JSN track. I think it is telling about this round that it is basically not by the standard of NFL running backs. It's like guys that aren't super talented on great offenses. It's Kyron Williams and Javonte Williams on Cowboys and Rams. And then like talented guys and not great teams like Jeremiah Love and Trabick Bride or injured players or to your point, it's Rishi Rice recovering from any injury with the Chiefs and Malik neighbors recovering from injury with the Giants. And like those are the best players in this round. But in reality, they're the highest upside risk reward where Rishi Rice and neighbors can both be like not the same player and then like a terrible pick or like a league winning player because you can just get like maybe the number one in Steven fantasy in round three. Let me ask you a question. In this round, Malik neighbors, like if you had to rank the order of how much you like each player in this round, like let's say Kyron Williams and Rishi Rice are first and second. Where would Malik neighbors fall for you? So I'll be lame and then I'll answer your question. But it completely depends on your philosophy because you two are I think going for a completely different things. You're saying Kyron Williams. I think that's safe and there's nothing wrong with safe. But when you're like it's you're going for upside. So if you're going for safety because I don't think I don't think Kyron Williams is a good pick if you want upside. And I don't think Rishi Rice is a good pick if you want safety. And so if you're like, well, Ricky Bobby first or last, then you should take Malik neighbors or Rishi Rice because they're the only people in this round that it wouldn't even be weird if they were like the number one of Steven fantasy after the season. But if you're like, I don't want this player to like strike out. I want to get on base. You should take Kyron Williams. But I think if you want the upside thing, I would rather just take Blake Corm and if Kyron Williams get hurt, then Blake Corm becomes Kyron Williams. So I think that's the thing is would you rather have like Rishi Rice here and then take Blake Corm later? We would rather take Kyron Williams and then around eight, you take, you know, a receiver like, I don't know, Stefan DeGues or Quentin Johnson or some shit. So where would you put neighbors? I am personally dubious that neighbors is healthy, but when I see him on other people's teams, I'm like, fuck, maybe that was in the state. I do agree. Like I get envy. I think Van took him. Yeah. Yeah. When I see it, I'm like, why don't I do that? He's gonna be good. So I think the answer, there's a very good case is Malik neighbors. Like I'm looking at this. I wonder about Devante Smith for the Eagles because I'm just like, man, he's going to be the focal point of the offense. If the Eagles offense is good, he's not recovering from any injuries. The only guy there, I don't really think my Kyle Emmen or Dantevian Wicks or Dallas Goddard could command massive things. I think Devante Smith could easily get a third of the Eagles passing offense, even if it's like low volume. Was he your pick? I think so, but the more I think about it, I'm like, Blake neighbors is probably the best pick in this round. But the overall point is this round sucks. I don't want any of these players. Jeremiah loves actively hurt. Like, you know what I mean? I just, I don't want any of these players. So I'm like, shit, a third of these players are hurt. I might as well take Blake Davis. It's a high risk I reward round. Jeremiah love is a guy who like could go any direction. Smith, Rice, like, yeah, a lot of a huge injury risk. There's neighbors. There's a lot. Neighbors is a massive injury risk. Again, even if he is 100% early in the season, which I am dubious of because he's back in practicing now. Yes, but the odds that he makes it through the season are just lower off the injury. But round three of the fantasy drafts remind me a lot of round two of the real life NFL draft, where you're in round two because there's something that's not perfect about your profile. That's why you're not in the first round, essentially. But there's like a ton of upside. But those guys tend to be, I think, a little higher variance at times just because there's something that's not pushing them up into the first round, right? And I think that's the same here with like round three. There's always, there's just something holding us back from putting these guys higher. We didn't even get into Josh Jacobs who's also at the end of this round who's the Packers running back. So Josh Jacobs was charged with two misdemeanors. misdemeanor battery, criminal damage to property. And he ended up getting placed on the commissioner's list. And we can go on to it. Basically, the commissioner's list is it's kind of like paid leave in advance of his suspension. Like we don't have enough evidence gathered to suspend you. But there's a video and we saw it. So we're going to do it because we're really confident we'll be able to suspend you later. And they just basically like they pay him now. And then later he gets suspended at a later time. And it's like time to serve. But he's not playing for the Packers to begin the year. It seems like it'll probably be six games. It might even be the whole season for Josh Jacobs. We don't know the answer. I was wrong about this. I thought, because his trial is not even until November 17th. And I thought that they would just wait for him to either, you know, plead guilty or, you know, have a trial or be convicted. A lot of times they wait for those legal system to kind of process things. When there's a video, because the police generally don't, so it depends. But generally when the police are trying to gather evidence and prosecutors are trying to like get interviews, they get pretty annoyed when the NFL is like also trying to get their own interviews and also talking to the witnesses. And you're like impeding the investigation. So usually they wait. Yeah. Yeah. But there's a video. So they're like, yeah, we're going to do it anyway. So the long of the short of it is Jacobs is on the Commissioner Example list. He's probably going to miss a month, a month and a half. And then he could come back and then get suspended for the rest of the season. Yes. And so like it's very, to me, it's very unlikely. It feels very unlikely. Josh Jacobs is going to have a role this season. The packers are going to have to do something else. It also might not ever be mine now. Not playing this one. He's going to miss probably like two months on the lower end. Like he probably even played in November. And that's like the more optimistic. So he goes on to the do not draft list. Obviously. And then
we'll talk about where you want to take Marshawn Lynch later. - Lloyd. - Sorry. Yeah, damn. - I would not take Marshawn Lynch this year. - Right. - You never know. - The Packer's also traded for the Steelers third round, running back from a couple of years ago. - So, yes. - Josh Jacobs is basically like, don't draft him. For a variety of reasons, like don't take Josh Jacobs, there's no point. Marshawn Lloyd, I think the question is like, where do you take Marshawn Lloyd? It's a weird situation. The Packer, who's gonna play for the Packer? Because this year is a bizarre conversation, aside from just the whole, like, oh, this Josh Jacobs, who plays running back for Green Bay, but the season's at a week. Marshawn Lloyd is six carries in two seasons. Like, he's had hamstring injuries pretty much his whole career. - Hamstring calf. - Should he be shoulder. - Royne, like, he's had so many issues, six carries. Chris Brooks is like a fast pro guy who's barely played. He's been Mike McDaniel Green Bay. And then Caleb Johnson, who literally fumbled, he didn't even fumble. He declined to pick up a kickoff last year, didn't know his alive ball. Seattle scored a touchdown, and then he got 60 stamps the rest of the season. - And that's why the Seahawks probably won the Super Bowl. - I really enjoyed it. It was so fun. It was the best. - Yeah, Caleb Johnson had, like, 28 carries the entire season. He had, like, 70 yards rushing, like, literally irrelevant. There's a third round pick coming out of Iowa. People thought I didn't personally like him. - I know, I want to credit you, Craig, because we were talking about him during the pre-draft process before the Steelers got him. You're like, I don't see it. - Don't see it. - I would actually take sure enough. - Here's the thing though. I actually would rather have Caleb Johnson than Marshall and Lloyd considering the price, 'cause I already done a couple drafts with the Josh Jacobs loses come out. And people are taking Marshall and Lloyd, like, 60th, or 75th, or whatever. - Or on waivers, you're grabbing him for, like, a bunch of money. - Yeah, like a sixth round pick. And I'm like, okay, but Marshall and Lloyd has had six carries in two years. He's had four or five different injuries. Never mind, he tore his ACL in COVID. And I'm like, I kind of don't want to just, it's a Jonathan Brooks. It's like, I don't know if I necessarily definitely want to bet that Marshall and Lloyd will stand up to the rigors of an NFL season that long. I'm like, no one's gonna take Caleb Johnson, but I think the reason Caleb Johnson totally and completely failed in Pittsburgh is he was like a zone-based running back. We choked, he was a lot like Derek Henry before that kind was good. - He was a real North South guy. - Yeah, he needs to get going. Also, like, rookies and rogers. - Under Rogers, I get why he didn't. - I, it's every, Aaron Rogers doesn't do under center anymore. And Aaron Rogers doesn't do rookies. - Yes. - And trying to do zone running from shotgun. Never mind, like, like, you just, you're never gonna work with Roger. You can't block for him. The angles are all different. Rogers is not gonna suffer a rookie in the growing pains. And I'm like, going back to Green Bay and going back to being an under center offense, I think Caleb Johnson is free. And I think that by week nine, I think it's like a coin flip of him versus Marshall and Lloyd. - I don't know if I can agree with you. - He might do better on merit and injure and health. - Yeah, so I actually think Caleb Johnson is a chance to be like, I've been waxing poetic about Jonah Colman. Caleb Johnson might be the best sleep of the whole year 'cause I don't think his black of playing time is anything to do with him. Just air Rogers. - Despite my feelings about him as a prospect, I don't disagree that this is a good situation and something worth it in your draft. - Yeah, that's worth it. - Shit, I'm up on a draft right now. Maybe I'll take him. - Shit. - Okay, so that's a lengthy round three, but we'll go through it. But anyway, I don't love Marshall and Lloyd at cost. I don't think I'm gonna take Caleb Johnson, but I think he might be better. So round four, this one was tough. Read all of the round four and then we'll pick our guys. - So my, the players in round four, Kim's category, running back from your giants, T Higgins received for the Bengals, the Marjacks and quarterback for the Ravens, Tedaroa McMillan received for the Panthers, Emeca Boca received for the Bucks, Colston Lovelin, the tight end for the Bears, Lad McArkey, what the hell? Lad McConkey received for the Chard, it's been a long week. - Like Carkey. - Chargers received for-- - Lemon, it's Monday. - Garrett Wilson received for the Jets, the Andre Swift running back for the Bears, Quinn Sean Judkins running back for the Browns and Jalen Waddle received for the Broncos, Bucky Irving running back for the Buccaneers. Who did you have, Greg? - This is a gauntlet. - I love this round. I like half of the people in this round. I would have chosen Emeca Boca, but the toe thing I think must be, we don't know. - It's a 25% chance, he just has Turf toe, and it will affect the entire season. - If he was healthy, I'd be like, this guy, I think, is a top 10 water seevert, spend all your money on him. He's the absolute guy you take. But the toe thing, I don't know, it could be Turf toe, and that's a huge problem. Brock pretty missed half the season with Turf toe last year. So I would pick Lad McConkey, I believe. - I had Lad McConkey too. I think it's the focal point of the Chargers passing game that will be so much better than people think. - Yeah, I'll reiterate that. I wrote down literally a book or Lad because I just, the toe thing, if all things being equal, I would go with the Boca, if he was healthy. - And a week he's a full participant, and it's like it's not Turf toe, it was a strain, and it's healed, and he feels great, and there's no limitations, and the toe is not a problem. I would 100% pick. - Is this round just better than the round before it? Like, I would rather Kim Scataboo than Breeze Hall. Is that insane? - Like, if you could have two picks in round four and zero in round three, would you? - Yes, I would try, honestly, I would trade back. If fantasy football you could trade back, I would absolutely trade out of the third round. And I want, even Jalen Waddle, who I know we hate, and we're probably gonna put in the burn book three weeks in, but I'm like, man, Jalen Waddle in Denver without going from two to a bonus, and Sean Payton, I just think is a huge upgrade. T Higgins, all these guys, I like a lot. - I think Deandre Swift is still a great pick. - Yeah. We've barely talked about Teteroma and Mellon. - There's a lot of good players in this round. - Mellon can have a big year to jump. Round five, there's David Montgomery running back for the Texans, DG Moore, Steve for the Bills, Tyler Warren tied in for the Colts, Drake May, quarterback for the Pats, Joe Burrow for the Bengals, Luther Burton, receiver for the Bears, Terry McLean and Washington, Travian Henderson, the running back for the Patriots, Devonte Adams, receiver for the Rams. Shedarian Price, the rookie receiver at a Notre Dame for Seattle, Basel Tutten, my muse, for the running back for the Jags, not really, I'm skeptical. And James and Williams, the receiver for the Lions, DK, who is your guy in round five? - The, my head wants Tyler Warren, my heart wants Luther Burton. Put it that way. I'll do Luther Burton. - Oh, either, really? - I think Tyler Warren, the signing of Keenan Allen and then the quick DUI, I don't know what to make of that. Keenan Allen got a DUI, this obviously, or this over the weekend. - Was he, was the car in motion? I'm not sure it was, but-- - I didn't look into it. - Oh, like he fell asleep in his car. - I don't know, I will say this. - You gotta put your keys outside the car, they say, right? - I don't know, it's rules, I-- - You can't be in the ignition, I think, I'm sure it depends on the state. - Yeah, maybe it's state dependent, but I believe if you're like, wanna pull over and you wanna sleep, 'cause you might have had too much to drink, if you put the keys outside the car, I think it's okay. - I don't know that. - I think if it, I don't know. - Don't take cra-- - I heard that like 10 years ago, I don't know that's cra-- - Someone out there is like, lawyer, got it, all right. Craig, someone's like, Craig told me. - But Craig said, yeah, yeah. - Hold on, we pulled this podcast officer. - So, I will say, we've been indie, most uberable place I've ever been in my life. - Yeah. - Uberable. - Yeah, it's 100%. - It's like going like across Indianapolis, when we're in the combine, it costs like under $4. It's actually like, it's like 20, like-- - So we've learned that it doesn't have anything to do with that. - No. - It's, there's something only way most I'm telling you. (laughing) Wouldn't be a problem. - So, yeah. Who did you have in this round? - So sorry, I had Tyler Warren. I think, really, you think he's the best value? That's kind of fun. - I think it's just more like my favorite player in this round. I think with Michael Pittman gone, he's going to inherit a lot of those looks, run after the catch. I think he's gonna be a focal point, and they're gonna try and design place to get him the football, let his run after the catchability kind of shine. - Here's his foot, here's his foot. Josh Downs is like a huge unknown. I just think he's gonna have 120 targets and just absolutely goes. - Can I be just a soccer? - Stopping wet noodle Debbie Downer for a sec. - Wet blanket? - Whatever. - Yeah. - Do you remember last year, when we were so goddamn excited about Lad McConkey with the chargers and he was like a top 30 pick, and then the chargers signed Keenan Allen in a week before the season, and we did not really account ruins everything. - 80 targets that Keenan Allen was gonna have. - What's gonna happen to Keenan is Keenan gonna miss time? - I don't think this DUI will affect, first of all, the difference is in domestic violence and Josh Jacobs and the DUI with Keenan Allen is like completely different chargers. I don't think it's like worth trying to predict whether that gets a spend, I don't think it's worth trying to predict whether the two games are ever-- - But it's a good point. - Keenan Allen is a fantasy blood sucker. - They probably want to Keenan Allen. There's a lot of overlapping-- - Fantasy Parasite. - Yeah, it will damn-- - It's a barnacle on the ass of whatever team he's on. - I just think Keenan, like just not moving down all the culture receivers when Keenan Allen's probably gonna get like 80 targets. Like everyone should move down around, but because the way it works is average draft is just kind of set. And like people sort by it in the draft, like I just, I don't want Tyler Warren anymore 'cause I just feel like you're gonna, you're just gonna be mad every week 'cause Keenan Allen's gonna-- - I think Tyler Warren's gonna play every down and I don't think Keenan Allen is gonna play every down. I think it'll be okay. That being said, it does lower his-- - It does lower his ceiling probably a little bit. That being said, I'm on board with Lucifer Burton Hype. He's back to practice. Ben Johnson said he's gonna be 100% ready to go week one. I'm like-- - It looks 100% right now. - Like what else do we want? That's awesome. - I talked about Lucifer Burton a lot. - Yeah. - So we don't need to go too deep. - Lucifer and your favorite pick in this round five? - Absolutely. I think there is like a 33% chance that Lucifer Burton is like a second round pick and drafts next year. And there's like a 10% chance to first round pick. - Yeah. This is a fun round. - It's a great round. - But again, going back to what you said from round three, this is upside versus safety. I think Tyler Warren is kind of rock solid. You could take like Drake May or Chopra on this round and it'd be like-- - Also, do you-- - So there's a Drake May is in this round who just was like the number two quarterback real life in fantasy last year. - You get a 50 second. - I was gonna say-- - That's pretty good. - Part of me is like, we're like quarterbacks deep and I'm like, yeah, maybe you should just take Drake May. So now you're not on the late quarterback thing, why? What changed? - Not really. - Can anything happen in one, four days that made you change your tune? - Oh, I don't know. - No, you were talking about that. - That was fine. - But like upside, Lucifer Burton is like, he could be like the fifth receiver in fantasy or it could honestly not work out. So it's huge very-- - I'm still on DJ Moore for the bills. I just think-- - I thought about it.
- Doing that too. - But I will say, Drake May just being outside the top 50 really does stand out to me. Well, the other one is Jadaire and Price, the COX, 'cause that's charging when I'm physically - So now you're maxing on price, huh? - Well, I think that I'm realizing how much of Jadaire and Price's price is, because people like believe the bullshit that's that Charbonne would play in a week one. - Charbonne got placed on the PUP list, so he's missing at least four weeks. - He tours ACL in like the end of January, like that's a nine month recovery, like just dude, like that's Halloween. - I think it is surgery in late February. - I think you're in on George Kittle. - Because I have, there is so much for information about George Kittles. - Also, there's actually our body. There's like no information on Charbonne's recovery. And it's just like the timeline, we know when he had surgery, there is no return to timeline for Charbonne in eight months. Like it's just not, no one brings NFL players back in eight months. Like it just doesn't happen for me. - What did you think, did you see that weird Shanahan quote, where he said like, - Which one? - He took a step back. - He mentioned something about Kittle taking a step back, and everyone was like, what does that mean? Did you hear that? - No, let's do it right now. What the fuck did he say? - He literally said in a presser. He was, I don't know if he was talking about week one in Australia or something, but he was like, oh yeah, certain guys, you know, like so and so in Kittle who've taken a step back. It'll be interesting to see, you know, the next few weeks. - Yeah, it's like, I think people were not sure how to take that, whether he had had a setback and was therefore maybe, you know. - Oh, like did he misspoke step, like did he take a step back or is it a setback? - Or like does the step back mean? - No, I'm saying does the step back take, he's taking a step back, does that mean he had a setback? Does that mean he's like, not gonna practice anymore or whatever kind of slow things down? He was going too fast, having some issues or what? No one really knew what that meant. It sounds like he's gonna be back in practice this week. They'll kill Kittle. - That would be bad. - Yeah. - That's my profession. - I just think it bonkers, that floor into George Kittle. I think that's crazy. - Do you remember when Kirk Cousins came back immediately from his tournament killings and he couldn't fucking move? - Yes. - Obviously a very different situation, different person, different player, different position. - I respect that you're taking the risk, but I don't, 'cause he's very affordable, he's like going super late. I mean, this dude's 31 years old, he's coming back in like six months. - It's very, it goes against our rule to target guys the year after the year after. And I think we're kind of just ignoring, we're like, oh, new science, he's an animal, he works so hard. - Maybe it'll work. - He's like a freak one of one, but you basically have to draft two tight ends if you wanna draft George Kittle. - That is true. I do not think he's going to Australia. - Anyway, so Jadarian Price though. - Jadarian Price just could be starting running back in round five. I just think it's worth. - I feel like, yeah. - He's just, the point is coming back to Sharbinay. I just think people are too worried. Jadarian Price is gonna have a lot of the workload. Also, I don't know why George Lani's not being drafted. I feel like he's gonna play a lot. - Jad, Lani's a good last round. - Like, yeah. - Yeah, he's like on no one, I don't think people could even find him searching his name. Round six, Jaden Daniels, quarterback for Washington, Jalen Hertz, quarterback for the Eagles, which always trips me out because he had more games over 30 points than under 16 two years ago and somehow is outside the top 60. Keep wondering about that. Roman Dunes, he received it for the Bears. Tucker Kraft, tight end of the Packers. Talking about people at Torre, they're ACL going 20 spots out of the kettle. I know the timeline's different. Christian Watson, receiver in the Packers. Mike Evans, receiver in the Niners. Jalen Warren, running back for the Steelers. Parker Washington, the receiver to Jor for Jacksonville. Harold Fanon, Jr., on the Cleveland Browns, Ramanja Stephenson, running back for the Patriots, Sam Laporte and Lions, and Caleb Williams on the Bears. Craig, we should play in this round. And why is it Mike Evans? - It's not Mike Evans. - Who the fuck is it? - It's Christian Watson or Parker Washington. And I can't decide. - I had those three guys for me and I was going to pick whoever you didn't pick because I had Christian Watson. But yeah, it's Watson Evans and Parker Washington. And in my favorite dress, I ended up with all three. - Yeah, this is another round that I like. I think Hertz's great pick. I think Roman Dunes is a good pick. Let me throw a couple. I got one Christian Watson stat and one Parker Washington stat. Christian Watson ranks third in yards per round run over the last two seasons. And he ranks 58th in target share. Now those things I think are going to be a little bit different with dobs and wicks gone. And I think he's a phenomenal pick. Another guy who came back from an ACL early looked great immediately like kind of like receivers. And his now has a full off season and his back with much less competition. And then with Parker Washington, who's like every week seems to rise up the boards more and more. After Travis Hunter got hurt in the weekend, he was the White receiver 16 rest of season. And right now he's going as the White receiver 30. I like, yeah, I like the same three players you mentioned. I want Mike Evans mainly just because that's been kind of one of my guys in this in this process. I've been drafting him everywhere in the back of my head. I did. I like Parker Washington, because when Mike Evans, the Christian wants to get hurt, Parker Washington can play. Right. I have no, I have Mike Evans in the ringer league. I think it's like for me, one of the things, like if you look at everything, it's like Mike Evans is just, he's done it for a long time. He's, we know he's a very good player. He's in a very good offense with a quarterback who's going to feed him the football. I think those variables all together make it seem like a great pick. Obviously I'm worried about the injury thing. Like that's a huge deal. But like you kind of feel that way about, I feel that way about Christian Watson as well. Like the, the back of my head worry about the injuries. Just like a huge deal back to your head. How about the front of that? Front of your head. But that being said, Parker Washington is one of the more fun people to pick in the mid rounds, I think just because he has, I think, legitimate top 12 among receiver outside because we might, this might be like the Amman Ross season before he blew up. And everyone didn't know what to do with him because he was like a mid round pick and nobody knew if it was real for, if you, the same performance from the same player who's taken in the first round in the real NFL draft because we expect them to be great. The moment they show it for any amount of time, we kind of immediately accept it. But if you're a later round pick, you need to do it for a long time until we actually place you in that bucket, which Amman Ross the perfect example. So I think, yeah, Parker. - The downside is like there's a lot of guys in Jacksonville. I don't know, maybe Jacoby Myers and Brian Thomas and a Travis Hunter plays and there's just like too many bodies. - But this is clear, it's Christian Watson, Mike Evans and Parker Washington are tied. I agree. - Can I ask who Jalen Hertz, though, is Looms here? - Yeah, one question I had, and I just don't know what to do with them. So I have just basically been ignoring them pretend they don't exist. Jalen Warren versus Rico Dowdall and the packer or in the Steelers backfield. You picked Jalen Warren in our ringer draft. - Over Rico Dowdall. - Yeah, why'd you do that? Like, how do you envision it kind of like shaking out? I think number one, he's proven it year after year that he's a good player. - Yeah, and I think Rico Dowdall's a good player too, but Rico Dowdall doesn't get involved in the passing game and I like to believe that, I know it's different systems now, but I'm betting that Warren is gonna be the game well. - Yeah. - He's think like the touches he's gonna get, the trust from Aaron Rodgers, the usage on like second and third downs. I just, I want to bet on Warren. - Yeah, I agree. I don't think Rico Dowdall has rocks for hands or anything by any means. I mean, he had more catches than Jalen Warren last year, but I do think Jalen Warren. - That's not right, damn. - Yes. - I think the roles will be- - Remember that month where Rico Dowdall led the NFL and Russian yards? - Rico's a good player, man. - But Kenny Gainwell had 73 catches last year. He had almost 500 receiving yards Kenny Gainwell. And I do think you're, I agree. Like, you're trying to take the guy who Rodgers is gonna make Kenny Gainwell. And I think that Warren has a much better shot to be 75% of the game well-receiving production, but way more Golan carries and more stuff like that. So I agree. But realistically, I'm trying to take a receiver in that range. If Jalen Warren falls, he falls, but I am not trying to like target a running back. I'm trying to add- - I'm so sure, Warren. - Senator Evans or someone there? - Warren had more catch than Dowdall last year, so fucking watch your shit. - Is that true? - Yeah. - All right, watch your shit. - Pro football reference. Rico Dattle from the Steelers. - Mazda, Mazda, Mazda, Mazda, Mazda, Mazda. - I love Mazda, so fuck, what's another range? - Don't you drive a Mazda? - Yeah, I do, I love Mazda. But I was trying to think of a less luxury M. What's a less luxury M? - Mitsubishi. - Mitsubishi? - Mitsubishi, Marv? - That kind of has a range to it. - Mitsubishi, Marv? - Yeah. - Hopped Herbert for the quarterback of the Los Angeles chargers. Tony Pollard for the Titans. Brian Thomas Jr. for the Jaguars. Dac Jonathan Brooks, DK Metcalf, R.J. Harvey for the Broncos Trevor Lawrence for the Jaguars. - Alex. - I had Brian Thomas Jr., and I'm gonna tell you, I don't even like, look, yeah. I'm like, I'm gonna, we'll take Herbert here. I don't like any of these players. I'm praying that someone from the previous round falls. Like, remind your Stevenson. I don't want any of these people as being honest. - I think I've been preaching all off season that late round quarterback is the way to go. But when you get into dress and you have around like this where every other guy, to me, I wrote down, this is what I wrote down, this round is a nightmare. Outside of quarterback, this round is a nightmare. All everybody has some sort of major, huge red flag that I'm worried about going to the season. It feels like you're not getting very good value in this round. Now, you could obviously go into the eighth round and reach on a player that you have a strong conviction on. You could obviously do that. But again, if we're talking about,
about actual real value. I'm starting to believe I kind of this is where you take a quarterback. I think it's it's about the range where like again, I think you want to take a quarterback. It's like when do you take a quarterback? When the quarterback starts to completely mock the other bright. That's kind of what I'm saying and obviously you don't know what's going to happen with a lot of these guys. They do have some there's upside potential with all of them, but I wrote down Justin Herbert here just because you know the Marvin Harrison thing that's sort of just a bet on him improving a lot from last year. He's still a talented player. It's a bet against Kyler and on Marvin Harrison to be honest. Right. And then Jonathan Brooks is a bet on him staying healthy. There's just everybody in this group is a massive red flag. But with with Herbert new offensive coordinator, new system. I think I saw somebody tweet out the stats the other day. It was like most motion among teams in the preseason and San Diego LA was number one. The charges were number one. I'm just thinking this could be an incredible incredible upgrade. You've been preaching about this all offseason, Mike McDaniel. Just what he brings. It's somehow underrated because it's all people been talking about that. It's like, well, everyone knows it's like, yeah, but like sometimes it's like there's three bullets and people just like, yeah, Mike McDaniel's there in the offensive line. And oh, and it's like, I think if the Dolphins offense the last couple of years when Tuah was healthy, Tuah was putting up big numbers, like the league in passing yards and it's fucking Herbert. 70 points in a game. Yeah, and it's like he's the most limited quarterback in the NFL. And now Mike McDaniel has the most maybe like top five biggest arms best process. I just think people are the biggest thing you can have is going from like the worst passing design in the NFL to the best. I'm just buying all of it. Yeah. Yeah. So I I have Herbert and Trevor Lawrence is my two that I've highlighted. So I honestly, I think round seven folds right into round eight, which is Chris Godwin for the Buccaneers, who is a lovable person and a good situation because of Mike M stuff, but he's just coming off an injury as well. Chuba Hubbard, who has a hamstring injury for the Panthers that I don't want to anything to be a split with Brooks very likely this year. Running back who already has a hamstring injury on a team that's like, you know, Portland Sutton, a receiver on the Broncos, George Kittle, who I like, but again, coming off an Achilles injury. And I don't really even want to take here just because I still feel a little early. The hope with Kittle is that because he's questionable and then you click on it and you see Achilles, people don't take him. That's why like Kittles, you do want him to fall. Jakey Dobbins, the running back for the Broncos, who will probably be good in every game he plays, but then it'll get hurt because he's never played more than 13 games in the season. Michael Wilson for the Cardinals, Blake Korum, the running back for the back, the lesser shy to the short side of the committee with Kiron Williams and the Rams, Alec Pierce coming off an ankle surgery for the colts, just started practicing like less than seven days ago. Travis Kelsey for the Chiefs, Jackson Dart for the Giants, Jordan Mason, running back for the Vikings and Kalman Nungai on the Bears. More show-in-it is somewhere in here for the backers, like that's where you come from. I think he would be higher for me. We forgot to mention him. I think in round six or seven, it's probably where I'd start thinking about doing Martian Lloyd. The thing with Martian Lloyd is, in theory, do you want the backers running back with Josh Jacobs out for half of the whole season? Sure. And I'm like, "Marsh, I can't get over these. I had six carries in two seasons." It's crazy risky. Crazy risky. How many people have ever done anything like that? Had six carries in two years in the middle lead running back on a team? So who did you pick in this round? Sorry, did you finish the round out? I feel like this is where we're getting into the nasty part of the draft. I picked Jordan Mason. Oh, that's a good one. That's an interesting one. I think Blake Korm could be on the list as well, maybe. But Jordan Mason is just like, I've seen it. I think what he did in San Francisco proved to me. Like, you know, he was the best way to wear it out. And for like a month, he was one of the best running backs in fantasy when when McAfry was out. They brought in Frank Smith, the new offensive court, who was with McDaniel for like four years in Miami. I think they're going to emphasize outside Zone a lot more, which was what Mason was great at in San Francisco with Shanahan. And like Aaron Jones, Aaron Jones, I like 500 yards last year. He's like 31, 32 years old. He's another likable guy that's cooked. Yeah. And I'm just like, oh, if the Vikings turn this around and they're decent, they're winning games and they have like leads with Kyler Murray. Jordan Mason, I think, is a really solid pick. He could kind of have a rico doubtful type of year this year, you know, from last year. So here's here's what I in this exercise where we're going neatly by every 12 people, I would take Blake Corms solely because I'm like, anything that happens to Karen Williams should have five running back. But in reality, what I actually want to happen in my draft. And I think the essence of what we've been preaching all offseason, whether it works or not is that round six group, which we really like. I want someone from around six to fall into around seven. So Christian Watson, Mike Evans, Parker, Washington, or Ramanger Stevenson, I want to fall around. And I want to get one of those guys in round seven. And you're like considering two people in the clock, one falls back to you in round seven. And then in round eight, when you're like all you're picking between court and Sutton and Chris Godwin and Alec Pierce, now you can take Herbert, which one of the which not pick a number like a tall, great quarterback with a new Caleb Williams from the Bears Justin Herbert from the Chargers or Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars. One of those guys has tended to fall to round eight. Because that's where I'm like, Oh my God, I would so much rather of Justin Herbert than like Michael Wilson out Pierce. That's generally what's actually been happening in the drafts of the two guys in this round that I'm actually considering drafting are Michael Wilson and Blake Corm. I think also you make a good point about Jordan Mason. I think he's a really good later on, you know, kind of just listen to another guy that we have not talked about. Are we going to follow up? Are we going to actually follow through on that we actually believe Michael Wilson is better and will be better than Marvin Harrison Jr. I will make a vow that for the rest of my draft season, I will never select Marvin Harrison. If Michael Wilson is on the board, I will select Michael Wilson. I think in sticking to my priors, I'll probably go marvel over Wilson, but I think you absolutely have to build in the potential that Michael Wilson is just a better player. Then then Mitsubishi Marv. Mini Cooper, Marv. Mini Cooper. No, he's getting bigger. macro Cooper. Well, many coupers are bigger than they used to be. They are. They are. Have you ever seen a real Mini Cooper? They're fucking tiny. Like from the 10 years ago, or from like the 60s or whatever. I'm like a talent job. Yeah, maybe. No, I think those are newer. Well, there's the OG Italian. Oh, really? There's no Mini Cooper's in the original or are there? You know what? You know what? I don't. I feel like Mini Cooper's were really small to start with. I could be wrong about that. I don't. I mean, I've actually never driven one. Anyway, regardless. I think Michael Wilson. Yeah, I think the original movie does have many coupers. The 60s movie. Anyway, that's a super relevant. I think Michael Wilson, this is a good spot in the draft. Take a shot at the idea that he has incredible upside. I mean, we saw him when Marvin Harrison was off the field. He was basically a alpha number one. He's averaging 22 points a game or something like that. I think he has that potential. We've seen him do it. I'll be a small sample. But new offense, new play collar rolls could change. He might move around a little bit more. He might be the guy that they actually get the ball to the most, even if he's not the quarter and quarter alpha of the offense. It is extremely. And I don't know, like the Laflore aspect of it. Mike Laflore, a little brother in that. Mike Laflore, that aspect of it could change things a lot in their offense. Maybe their offense is just way more efficient this year. We've seen what Matt Laflore did with the Packers offense every year. It's super, super efficient. Even if they're not the best offense in the NFL, they're getting big plays. All that stuff. I think Percent raises the floor of that offense and they're going to be losing a lot. So they're going to be passing a lot. So I won with Michael Wilson here. Oh, and round eight. I think going by the list of those 12 people at play court, just because I think the upside. But he's going to play, and it'll be a usable player with crazy upsides. He's a powerball ticket when it's 30 billion or whatever. What's the highest power balls gone? Like a couple of billion, two billion. I can take it to two billion. A few billion. Crazy. Round nine. Are we still reading all these names? Yeah. Screw it. It's your Corey Croskey merit running back for watching. He's hurt. I wouldn't. He's injured. Take him. He's injured. Bill. Fuck it. I don't. Can Kay the tight end for the bills. Isaiah likely for the Giants. Bo Nix, quarterback for the Broncos, Quentin Johnson, receiver for the Chargers, Matt Stafford, MVP for the Rams. Outside the top 100, fantasy football stupid. McKaylemmon, rookie receiver for the Eagles, Patrick Wahomes. You've heard of him. Once again, kind of wild lemons to still this high. Can we? Can we just, I know that you guys always get mad at me for saying this, but you know, fantasy football is stupid when McKaylemmons going out of fucking Patrick Mahomes and anything. Jordan Addison, receiver for the Vikings, Kenny Gainwell for the Buccaneers and Brock Party for the, for the Niners. And to John Stribling, rookie receiver also for the 49ers. The Strib Club. I took, I took Quentin Johnson here. I need to who I, I, we were on weeks ago. And I think his, his, his, he's starting to rise up. He had a beautiful touchdown. Yes. I want to piss that happens because I probably jumped around because of it. But easily, I think that he has massive upside. And like, there is a chance that he could outscore Aladdin McConkey this year. I did. I do think that's possible. I think there's two, I think there's three really good picks in this round. Well, you could argue more. But I actually like this round. There's quite a few guys I like because don't kick it. I think it's a worthy shot at upside if he just plays more. But Quentin Johnson was one I wrote down. I want to add in Kenneth Gainwell, not a bad pick at this spot in the draft. I think he's going to have a very similar role to what we've seen, which were shot white in the past, where he's a big part of the passing game, just a, you know, Swiss Army knife type player for them in the backfield. And if Bucky Irving gets hurt, he's going to get a ton of value. What? I apologize. Someone said this through their day. I don't remember who I heard this from. But they made the point. We always say that Swiss Army player. Swiss Army knife suck. Yeah, but they have so many tools. But they all, none of them work. None of them work. They were trying to use the knife for this scissors and a Swiss Army knife. If useless.
It's the idea of it's cool in practice. I don't use it. Okay, counter you're doing that in your in your home playing with it for fun Maybe if you're fucking stuck in the middle of the woods, you have nothing else. It's extreme. You need a fucking tool to be able to make a National something stopgap to get through a few things which again, that's fine But I actually do think that's what Kenny Gamel's he's a usable player That will you'll be able to play but I think the upside if he's not Aaron Rodgers is not going first read Kenny Gamel on every god damn dropback Baker Mayfield is like I'm gonna die with the ball in my hand. He's the opposite of Aaron Rodgers Aaron Bakers not like Chris Scott was done open fucking get rid of the ball He's gonna get cropped in the back of the rock. We checked down to Kenny Gamel. Well, and I was I was going But can crack it rocked and I kind of like cracked it up with crack rocked. He's gonna get cracked. He's getting so he's sunny How much one crack rock please but but no, I just I just think Baker's not gonna check down at Kenny Gamel 80 times like Aaron Rodgers It's too busy ripping past too, but he's ripping passes. He's like, I can't you know what I mean? Yeah, so I just think Kenny Gamel's like Same player, but like the still a good real-life player, but like the such a yeah, I just think option I agree with all I agree with all that. I think he's like yeah, yeah, I know. No, no, you're right I think it's true, and that's why he is where he is He's like over the hundredth pick here, but I think people are pricing the Buccaneers a lot like The way that they played last year when both of their starting tackles were hurt their quarterback was really hurt like eight different injuries I think if the offensive line for the Buccaneers can get healthy and stay healthy It changes everything about that offense and I think it raises the floor for every single person in that offense So that's why I'm like taking him here, but the other guy wanted to bring up I think Bonex and Brock pretty good picks in this area DeShawn's dribbling DeShawn's dribbling I should say is I think a very fun pick to make everything he's done in the preseason is incredible He looks like he has instant a chemistry in with Brock pretty and just like his use in the offense Mike Evans history of being hurt devil Samuel history being hurt Christian McCaffrey history being hurt George Kiddell is hurt coming off an injury. There's a chance that shriveling Legitimately leads this team in targets if it may if not Christian McCaffrey Yeah, he's one of the more High upside picks that is like I mean he went early in the ring early I think Mal took him in like the six or seven eighth rounds like It will be hard to get him because he is the most he is like the rookie to your of the season, but I agree with you So who did you do to quit Johnson? I have Quint Johnson. We all had Quint Johnson is tripling those are the two guys that stand out Yeah, no like around 10 Round 10 it gets weird so Stefan digs for Washington who I actually think digs has still hasn't the Washington is kind of a mess now Are we over rating? How bad we think the lot the commander's offense is gonna be based on some like training camp news There's left. Yeah, so I know, but like just the way just you know, I mean things like this tend to get Overstated in the right question and to your to what you're talking about Washington I think everyone's kind of losing faith in Jane Daniels under center losing their center Nick aligretty losing Laramie tonsill They're left tackle. There's two kinds of ways this goes and you took good good thing to flag decay There's a team that everyone kind of is like they're gonna suck and the fans are like screw you. No, we're not We're gonna be good. Just watch and then there's the one where the media is like that team's gonna suck and the fans Like dude, it's so over and that yeah, usually the fan the fans when the fans are out to when the fans are out and the media is out Those teams don't always shock just to there is being honest the teams of fans defend usually do better. Yeah, to be honest I just say like a healthy Jane Dales what they saw as a rookie Digs I can't keep that I can't get that on my mind with the way he elevated what we thought was gonna be a pretty bad off Totally the case for digs is that he got his first downs per route run Which I think is the most common sense stats of all these advanced stats is often get of all the routes How many times you get a first down? It's the point of every play although they get touched down the point of every place get a first down and Stefan Diggs is like top 10 with all these elite Receivers still even if it's on a lower snap share so I'm like that's the case is that's a very predictive stat with that said Round ten is Stefan Diggs for Washington now Josh Downs on the call to I think is going This is like a reasonable range, but I hate Keenan Allen doing on this team. I don't think it's gonna be fun for anyone the Texans defense is going here Which I get because they're fun to watch and I get why people are like well? I fund up my roster. I'll take a defense. I don't think you should do it But I get it Jen read on the Packers Michael Pittman receiver for the Steelers Jordan Tyson for the Saints who's out like two months And don't take him unless you have an ira spot Ram's defense goes here. I think his mouth's Garrett and Aaron Donnell came back Brandon Aubrey for the kicker bill took a kicker you guys fucking left me out the dry Well, no, Chang took the kicker first in like a seventh round with a third round. When was it you guys so that we did the ringer draft on Netflix last week you can go watch it. We we wanted to keep the heat on you pal I screamed to Dave Chang then Sean finessey screamed at us. There's a whole thing But like then Dave Chang took a ham little is a high for in the safe round or the seventh round to be honest I'm surprised seeing Brandon Aubrey here in the 10th. That's that's not that far off from what Chang and Bill did yes It is far it's too rough. It's much 25 players off. Okay, but not not when you say we always recommend that you should take a kicker dead last Which is round I don't know 16 so the worst thing to take a kicker around 16 They took one in round eight 80 pieces 10 much closer to where they're not that far off of any one bench player They took a kicker. I mean I agree. I think it's crazy, but I was I'm actually surprised to see Aubrey's name here in the 10th round That's all you saying to be higher should be lower should be lower that it's generally that's how it goes People people do what Dave and Bill did. It just surprises me because Bill's been playing fantasy for 30 years All right, who else is in this round? Oh, sorry. Yeah, we just keep getting straight Jake Ferguson Jake Ferguson tied in for the Cowboys for shot white for the he's unwashing to now Dallas got her for the Eagles tight end and Jared got for the line. I took Jayden Reed Yeah, I did because I just think he's so it's hard to get a receiver that they try to get in so it touches so much but digs I think digs I think he's probably I Initially wrote down downs, but I think I'm changing it to digs in my mind because I just Ain't Alan what he did last year. I do worry the only thing I worry about with digs And that's what you worry about with downs and Reed really in this round in this area is they're just not gonna play enough Yeah, they're gonna be rotational players who only come in when they're playing in the slot in 13 person Which is three receivers on the field That's my big worry with a lot of these receivers. Yeah, if you wanted to zag against that and not just have to worry about that Pitman to me is Michael pitman the other pick in here that I'm like I think he might lead this team in target and chance Michael Pittman has like 85 catches I think there's a decent chance Michael Pittman has 12 touchdowns this year because Michael Pittman again He fell to me in the ring early last year and he was incredible for the first six weeks I think he's still got it but in a way I will say we've barely talked about him. I think I've used Like 28 years old. Yeah, he's we had a broken back, but I'll say yeah, he's broken back Yeah, but I was kind of a red flag but his style makes more sense for the Steelers Like as hard for fucking Roger. Yeah, the way that DK Metcalf is big, but doesn't play big yes, which like you know alligator I'm just like DK Metcalf is not going up and high pointing the ball. He's a finesse receiver Yeah over the middle of the field like boxes people out. Yeah, and so powerful when Aaron Rogers is like trying to throw a fade to the corner That makes like like giving pitman like Aaron Rogers wants to throw passes where either the receiver has a 20% chance to get him or an 80% chance of incompletion, but Aaron Rogers, I think wants to retire with the lowest interception rid of all time and so Michael pitman is like a better Option for him. So I wouldn't be shocked if Michael pitman is 11 touchdowns and you get him in round 10 like I agree that It's not sexy, but this is the book. This is a boring player that could win totally like really off-brand Mike Evans Yeah, oh fuck that that's exactly what we just did technically we did Yeah, Michael Pitman's off brand Mike Evans. He's even named Mike and they're kind of like big guy and zone guys on new teams on new teams But you know, he's what five years younger than my is kind of like Mike Evans is stunt double. Yeah Wow, okay, Michael Pitman round 11. This is where it gets all over the place Aaron Jones that washed running back for the Vikings Mark Andrews for the Ravens, which is a value. We've liked Broncos defense sea ox defense defense is going Casey Concepcion the rookie first round received for the Browns Mike Washington Jr Running back for the Raiders. He probably goes higher than this because this ADP is He does now in going undrafted then shooting up the board because Ash and Gentry got hurt So Mike Washington's probably off the board by here put the honest Wanda Robbins of the Titans who was the opposite was going Higher, but then got concussion. So I think Wanda was dropping Kyler Murray for the Vikings Which this is why I like Lake quarterback is because Kyler Murray is going behind 40 fences Matthew Golden received for the Packers Jacobi Myers for the Jaguars Marshall Lloyd for the Packers He's not going here either. He's going quite earlier in this. Yeah, and then Baker may feel for the Buckingers So I think Marshall Lloyd and Mike Washington Kind of don't count Because like they're not gonna be around 11. They're gonna be long gone So with that said who in this range do you guys like for me? It's Kyler Murray I'm round 11. I have Mark Andrews But I also have Kyler Murray is like I took like is the quarterback 17 going off the board and round 11 Yeah, 100% a great pick and I but I do like Mark Andrews I mean, he's the 15th titan going off the board I think he could be starting caliber this year and as a chance to score like 10 touchdowns So I do think those are my two picks. Yeah, I had Wanda Robbins anywhere. I've been all over Yeah, you took him in the ring earlier. You don't have to hear my spiel again He's just gonna be a PPR scam. He's gonna get a ton of targets in this offense. I think what he did last year Yeah, like a hundred and whatever it was 120 Andrews is an interesting one I do feel like in all the drafts I've been because he has a famous name he's going earlier in this and maybe this is like overall like overall ADP I believe it
It does feel like he's going a lot of it's literally a neighbor. Yeah, Kelsey's always going to go a little earlier But if he does fall here, I would jump all over market. It is a good point though that there's a very serious chance that if you were like Wanted double-digit touchdowns in the outside the top 100 Michael pit and Mark Andrews double tap on boring old veterans though That it's not crazy to think that they're going to combine for 20 plus Where are you guys out with like? Right now around 11. How many defenses did you list to the third and fourth defense? Seahawks Texans Broncos around the round before was the other two Devences like whatever Where do you guys feel about or how do you feel about defenses right around now? Are you like I'm waiting till the very end? There it is very common for people look at the ringer draft to be like I'm going to get the Seahawks defense in the eleventh round and I'll just start them every week all year and I'll be set. I think kicker is crazy. I think taking a kicker early is crazy It bill wants to watch Brandon Aubrey put football, which is that's fine. That's a rule of mine Brandon Aubrey brings bill joy that I actually kind of like get like Danny Chow who Actually has left the ringer since come back He always wanted to there was a kicker He liked that he would always take this kicker and I'm like if the guy you like the guy He like won a league when you're this kicker and he's like I just want that guy on my team I'm like that's fine. It's fantasy football. You can have a you want but Generally speaking just take I don't even draft kickers if you don't have to You pick one like long season. Yeah, but defenses I understand I don't do it I understand like I would rather draft for example I think the Ravens defense is going to be great and you can get him really late or I look at a team like the chargers and the Chargers first two games are against the chiefs or sorry no that's that's last year I know that this year the charge first two games are the Cardinals and the Raiders and I'm like I look at defense Is get me through the first two weeks and then you will be able to find a defense at that point to get you Through three stretch like you give me the chargers in the last round and I'm like the Cardinals first game of the season and then Kirk Cousins week two I just that'll be fine. Yeah, I don't want to pay but if you want Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald I'm not gonna be like that's dumb. I know it's like one of those things How do you feel about the set and forget defense style and fantasy like like yeah for instance? I have the Vikings defense in the ringer league week one they're playing Green Bay the reason why don't feel great about that And I'm like well if I want to hold on to the Vikings defense all year because let's say 75% of the time I'm gonna start them Yeah, do I now have to begin the season with two defenses because I can't start Minnesota against Green Bay So I have to find another defense playing a shitty team and now I have two defenses. Yes, so Maybe it's funny because week one people forget week one is always an extension of the preseason lower score And so week one I it's when you're like unless it's like the bills or the Rams or someone incredible I'm not really afraid of week one. I will say this This is actually my real answer for people like of what you shoot at defense It's actually an extension of how I feel about going no running backs early if you like doing waivers and one of the things You like about fantasy football is trying to add people of waivers Live in the string don't take a defense or take a defense in a lot in the second last round and then take a kicker But if you're kind of like trying to get to fantasy football But you feel a little overwhelmed by the transaction aspect of it all take the Texans That's okay because that's like know thyself the Texans or the sea ox or the Rams and you're like I don't want to be half to reading or like listening to the shows about like finding a fucking defense every week That to me is the answer is like then take the Texans and I'm gonna tell you how do you feel about like Texans great example week one They play the bills. Are you starting them? Yes, they kick the shit out of the bills So the Texans are so good that it's actually doesn't matter. They're match up If everyone's healthy the only reason you're not playing the Texans this year in your fantasy line up as a defense is if they have a bunch of E-dries, but I actually do think we've never talked to it this but that was my answer is if you if you kind of dread it Fantasy football should be fun if you dread adding a defense just take a good one I think the other thing is and to that point high events You kind of got to know your league a little bit. Yes in our league the ringer league People were getting kickers early. They're getting defenses early There was like early runs on all these things And that's a little bit different than if you know if you've been in a league for 20 years or for 10 years or whatever And you know everyone's just going to wait until the last round then It doesn't make sense to go early like it might homeligs defenses go max like two dollars. Yeah, same Yeah, maybe three a hundred percent same and I like and are like maybe three dollars But like for the most part everyone's in on it together They're like and it's like then then if you're spending big on a defense It's a massive waste of money because you're missing out on the opportunity cost for the guys you can draft in this area that have might have Really good contingent upside and could win you your league if someone gets hurt or whatever That being said like every year we have a defense. It feels like now that is scoring like 20 points game. It's kind of wild I remember like a couple of years ago that Patriots defense for half the year was like one of the top 20 Overall scoring if you depending on the like scoring systems in your league But I mean having the Patriots that year was like having Jamar chase or something. Yeah, so it's like I kind of sometimes I understand some people want to You know kind of get ahead of that, but it's I think it's hard to predict which team that's going to be So it's just better off the opportunity costs too high the opportunity cost comes down to this bill was able to get Mike Washington Jr. on the Raiders as a handcuffed action gentie and normally handcuffing is like a controversial strategy But not a fashion gentie's hurt and Bill basically bailed himself out of having gentie because he got Mike Washington Because six defenses went ahead of him and two kickers and it's like that's the that's the cost of doing it And like that's why we say don't take defenses the kickers to the finals around because like good players slip by when other people do it with that said We're going to get into like some deeper sleepers here and this next segment is brought to you by Verizon Fantasy football season is all about finding those small upgrades that can make a huge difference by week one The sleeper picked nobody's talking about moving up a tear at the right position There's quick smart decisions that can change your whole season So let's talk about draft day upgrades I want to kind of bunch together the next rounds because at this point we're talking about round 12 There's like a couple rounds left in your bench the rankings don't matter anymore You're trying to get a couple people in your bench that are generally speaking big upside or whatever You know, it's hard. It depends on your team if you have Malik Willis or Kyler Murray Maybe at a quarterback or you know if you have not them any running back You get a handcuff whatever like you're trying to just get a high upside player I'm curious who the players are decay that you thought were specifically like you're targeting this part of the draft like the rankings Kind of 130 picks in throw them out. There's always a couple of guys I want at the end of my bench number one If you go tight end early and then you want to get a guy that you think or if you took it all right John Johnson for the Saints to me is great one. He's gonna be a big He's gonna have a big time target rate. We saw it last year. He had over a hundred targets last year We don't ever talk about it. We had the third most yards amongst all tight end NFL In 900 yards. I think it comes down to if Johnson can have 100 nobody I had no fucking idea Yeah, if he has six touchdown seven touchdowns, he's gonna be a top six guy in in at the tight end position in fantasy The other two guys that I always look for are Keaton Mitchell for the chargers who is just Expulsive I think you could have a big part of their offense You know McDaniel really likes him and talks about him constantly and then Jonah Coleman for the Broncos is the other guy really like If Jacob Owens doesn't end up being healthy for the Broncos I think Coleman is going to end up being the starter for that team. I think those are all great I have Johnson I have Mitchell the only other guy I'd like to flick at is Romeo Dubs Yeah, I like that one We haven't talked about him at all who I think is a really capable player last year He was very startable in fantasy. He was like a rock solid person on your roster and like There's a million there was a million wide receivers in Green Bay last year He was kind of the steady hand now. It's like him and AJ Brown in New England If I even think on his own he could still be serviceable as like a guy you could potentially play as your flex with AJ Brown But also like AJ Brown has had issues his knee issues if he misses any games Romeo Dubs might be a phenomenal pick Yeah, yeah, that's a great one. And then I would highlight the exact opposite of Romeo dubs where if dubs is kind of a Reliable We're she chief of the sea ox who is liable to get you zero points But also can get you 20 plus and if he actually starts playing at all like he was with the Saints like where he's kind of like Quietly made one of the premier deep threats in the tire league. Yeah, so Shaheed intrigues me Chris Rodriguez junior for the Jaguars who we'll see how much the Jaguars are really able to run the ball this year Because they might not be good running as much as we think but Liam Cohen has elevated Plenty of offensive lines before and Chris Rodriguez has a small, but Not insignificant chance to just outright be the Jaguar started this year at running back You mentioned you want Johnson. I Jonah Coleman the other one I'll say is I repeat from earlier Caleb Johnson who just got went from the Steelers to the Packers and he did nothing in Pittsburgh So he's completely irrelevant off the fantasy radar. I don't think Caleb Johnson could get drafted at Iowa But again, I really do think Caleb Johnson didn't play because Aaron Rogers doesn't like rookies Caleb Johnson isn't going to be able to protect for Rogers and Rogers is two hits away from being retired and Caleb Johnson Was not going to be able to adapt to zone running without a bunch of out of shotgun and now with all those things are changing I think Caleb Johnson has to have Jonah Coleman shooting up in stock like I think Caleb Johnson's replaced it Jonah Coleman It's the guy's going undrafted that might be like a Legit fantasy starting running back like early in the season totally agree I like and Malik will also the quarterback for the dollar Yeah, depending on your league could be a trendy sleeper, but also much of you undrafted and is the fastest quarterback in the NFL at this point So those guys Okay any other Sleepers I think that's pretty good less. Got a lot of names on there I was going to mention two more guys real quick just say their names look at them as Craig says Kalen Black for the 49ers looks like he's gonna be the backup Just a good handcuff and then Emmett Johnson for the chiefs another good handcuff potential guy behind My guy Kenneth Walker in case Kenneth Walker gets her he's looking Emmett Johnson's a great in the preseason the new Jeric McKinnon. Okay A couple things where we get out of here We mentioned the Rams defense, but Aaron Donald did come out of retirement Get a hobby man. I think he's gonna be good. I think he's gonna be awesome. Everyone's like, of course he is I think he's gonna be fucking great. He's built if the snap count thing is overrated people like oh, then a step count Here's two things but Aaron Donald. He's the most double player Darren Donald faced two blockers more than anyone in the 21st century basically And Miles Garrett is gonna mean that that's not necessarily possible. So I need to climb and physicality Aaron Donald has I think will be Like if he's drawing double teams then that means Miles Garrett's facing one block or they have to have like way more people in the line. So you're either If Aaron Donald is good enough to draw a double team. He's doing his job But if he's not then any decline in physicality, I think is gonna be Aaron Donald Hasn't seen more than 10 one or ones in a game in like seven years Yeah That is like a dynamic people are thinking about is you have two guys are gonna draw four blockers basically The other one Aaron Donald once held out of training camp So long until you got a contract extension that Aaron Donald missed the first week of the season And then he won defensive player of the year I just find this to be fascinating because he's been out he's missed two seasons right he hasn't missed four I feel like people are talking about it as though he hasn't played in half a decade right It's basically is though he had like a bad injury and he's coming back except he wasn't hurt And he's just been resting and working out I also wonder he's 35 right now I say 35. Yeah, you know, he's like younger than cam. Hey word um I kind of wonder This is probably stupid but If there will ever be a thing where like part-time playing is smart or like taking years off Becomes more common I don't know. I think about what Aaron Donald could have been doing to his body in the last two years in LA like he He could take steroids You can do whatever you want yeah, it's it's legal to recover and whatever way you want the guy who needed steroids the least of any guy No totally, but I'm just saying like it's interesting that he can kind of like recover and work out in a and the most perfect way for him Yeah, for two years and kind of preserve his muscles in the best way possible rather than having to deal with the rigors of the NFL So like I'm just saying like my the worry about like always 35 now. I'm like I don't think he is 35 physically because of the last two years I don't think count the same as two years of NFL football. I think that to your point I think when just the phrase you say preserved muscles. They're losing muscle like you know hard is to be honestly the whole point It's he's trying to preserve them. I know, but what I'm saying is I think people are teetreating this The right way because on one hand, I think people are not overriding harder to be because it's the same But people are also it is insanely hard to stay in in a full shape There's a reason all the offensive lineman lose weight That's the only thing that came a word thing. I think the problem fair in Donald is you have to get back into NFL defensive lineman shape Yeah, and like first of all the amount these guys have to eat like he has to add so much muscle probably and again We've been talking about he's definitely in shape because he made jared verse like fucking vomit at his house and he held jared verse hostage The picture of yeah, I actually want to see he looks great in that in You zoom in. I'm not kidding. You zoom in his chest. Hold on Can you zoom in on a show? I'm serious like I've seen him in person. I'm curious. I mean he still looks like he's in pretty fucking good shape Yeah, he looks the same I don't know this is what I this is just like doesn't have to be I understand what high fits is saying I understand what high fits is saying I think that applies for like most human beings. And Aaron Donald is not most human being He didn't say he's like I got to make I he spent like the last like two months He's like making sure that I could like physically commit to what I know the NFL He's he's always been an absolute complete outlier there was a reason he dropped like whatever it was 13 in the draft because he was shorter and not like whatever He didn't look like a normal defensive tackle and whatever. He's always been an extreme outlier and the I'm just like terrified about it. He's literally if I could pick any defensive player that I think could do this It's him and here's why we keep we mentioned this, but it's worth repeating He did not go out because of injuries. Let's say like like the JG what if you try to come back to you like JG What had he slow decline because of injuries? Aaron Donald left as was he a first team all pro probably a second team all pro when he went out this is what I'm saying I'm like this man for the last two years has been healthy and just working out staying in perfect shape and doing Anything he wants to embody to just be a physical specimen And it's like if you'd only been out for one year I feel like nobody would be saying anything But it's like the fact that it's been to change your stuff people are out for years all the time I was going to say this I was actually saving this for the take purge, but I actually just believe it so much that I'm going to say it here He's a year late if Aaron Donald had done this last year That's the only reason that's the only thing that's like giving me a little seat of doubt is like Why didn't you do this last year getting the opportunity to play next to Garrett is different? Sure We talked about this in November. We were like where is Aaron Donald? You kept saying it and I was like shut the fuck up shut the fuck up like I Don't give me an idea higher December January run. We're like why the fuck is Aaron Donald not coming out of a time And like I think well, I he I kind of think the rents would have won the soup if he had just done this last year He would have picked up that ball that sharpen a graph. He would have done that. He would have dove on it He absolutely would have done that. Do you think this probably dumb also dumb. I've said this would be my second dumb thing Do you think there's a chance that it's because coming out of 2024 The Rams are like ten and seven. We like didn't exactly know which way things were going And he was like oh well, there was also Stafford was yeah, Stafford was hanging out in the cool and I'm really gonna come back as a team And then to trade they don't want to pay staffer. They were protect staff They were pretending they were gonna trade exactly and he was probably like hey the runs over I won the Super Bowl this team is on the way down and then last year they were fucking incredible And now he's like okay, I see it now and I got my I'll scare it. Yeah, so maybe he just like didn't feel like it was worth it I think the other part is it's hard it is to be a turn is so much harder I feel like him having the entire last four months to consider this and like prep his body rather than like It's December and someone's like hey Aaron Donald. Why don't you come back? There's something very Just would have won the Super Bowl. There's something very comic bookie about him coming back like to get in the team together It's like Avengers doomsday. It's fucking Avengers But which he might be derogatory, but he I saw this tweet the other day It's like there's never been two teammates that have had a hundred total courier sacks and both had 20 plus sacks in the season on the same team We've never seen two players like this on the same team before it's the trailer the new doomsday trailer where it's like We knew Thor was gonna be in it and then it's like captain America shows up and everyone's like how does this make you like didn't he retire? Can he not be here and then it's like somehow he's here and the fucking hammer goes into his hand. Yeah, it's the same shit Oh, yeah And you're like hoping it's the same I would say like you know if you want to be if you want to throw a little cold water on it and be wet blanket about it Like at the very least he does make their defense quite a bit better right like he's he comes in like that's at the very bottom line He's not gonna make it worse for no, but I'm like the very worst case scenario is he's a situational past pressure that makes him harder to defend He's made some harder to fight against literally one of the best players ever. Yeah, it's gonna stink if if if staffer gets injured. Yeah, I I as much as that's why they do have to tie Simpson so so Stetson Bennett can be their second quarterback as much as you don't want the ramps to do Well, I do want them to just be healthy because this is such a fun thing to watch. Yeah, okay Last thing I want to ask you is about we have not talked about this, but the 49ers scammer guy Yeah, in the 49ers helmets and scamming women on Instagram by pretending he was a player and being then taking how is he scamming women? What like what are they doing? He was having relationships with them. No, I know he's scamming them out of money No, I know, but he was in relationships with him. He was pretending that I yeah, I get that. He was pretending He was an NFL player and he carried his Instagram to just be like Pretending he was basically He has all the accoutre monies the cars he's the jewelry as the lifestyle The apartment he was saying that was like it was like a he was convincing him He was convincing them he had these great investment opportunities. I thought he looked like shit Can I go the other way? I think everyone has said that with like he's the roads look terrible. Actually, I think if you saw him in the beach He didn't look terrible You'd be like that's a nut receiver for the 49ers Well, I think it was a really really elaborate good scam And I don't think if if you saw that dude running rounds in the beach and I I me and yours at the beach and that guy's running routes Oh, I totally in the helmet and you would not I you would never have turned to like he's lying Well, he would have been like he's an NFL receiver I probably wouldn't have said he's lying because I don't it's so rare to see a man in a fucking 49ers uniform working out on a beach But why these women were scared it was very elaborate Craig would Craig was the first person to call the breeze hall thing So I believe Craig. How many people been doing this one time I was at a college party at UC Davis and me and my buddy told people we were on the baseball team at Duke That's actually the best thing is like when you just can make up some backstory at some random party. Round one features Jimi Gibbs as a top pick due to elite rushing stats and a favorable schedule, alongside James Cook and Almond Ross as consistent, high-floor options.
Round two highlights Chase Brown (Bengals) for his strong floor and ceiling, with Derek Henry noted for 16 touchdowns and a redemption arc in red-zone performance.
Round three is criticized as high-risk due to multiple injured players (Jeremiah Love, Blake Neighbors, Devonte Smith), with Kyron Williams and Rishi Rice as the most viable options.
Round four includes strong picks like Lad McConkey (Chargers) and Emeka Boca (Bears), though Boca’s turf toe raises concerns.
Round five favors Luther Burton (Bears) due to his return to full practice and strong upside, while Tyler Warren is seen as safer despite Keenan Allen’s signing.
Round six features Christian Watson, Mike Evans, and Parker Washington as top picks, with Watson and Evans praised for consistency and offense quality.
Round seven is deemed high-risk, with only Justin Herbert (Chargers) and Trevor Lawrence (Jaguars) as strong quarterback options due to new systems and coaching changes.

FAQs
The top three favorite picks in the first round are Jami Gibbs, James Cook, and Amon-Roosters. Gibbs is highlighted for his high touchdown potential and strong rushing schedule, Cook for leading the league in rushing and a reliable ceiling, and Roosters for his consistency, reliability, and historic 10-100-1000 stats.
Jami Gibbs is considered a strong pick due to his potential for 25 touchdowns, having fewer inside-the-10-yard-line carries than David Montgomery last season, and playing in a team with the easiest rushing schedule in the NFL. He also holds the record for most touchdowns across three seasons among all NFL players.
James Cook is seen as a value pick because he led the league in rushing last season and has a strong combination of rushing and receiving skills. His ceiling is elevated by new offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, who may emphasize pass-catching running back roles.
Amon-Roosters is selected for his consistency, having averaged 15 points per game over the last four seasons and being one of only three players to achieve a 10-touchdown, 100-catch, 1000-yard career total across three seasons. He remains a reliable target in the top offense.
Blake Neighbors is considered the best pick in round three, despite injury concerns, because he is a high-upside player returning from injury in a strong offense. The panel notes that if he’s healthy, he could be a top-5 receiver, and his potential makes him a high-risk, high-reward choice.
Kyron Williams is considered strong because he is the lead back in one of the best offenses in the NFL, has consistently performed well (14+ points per game last year), and has a high floor with solid trust from the offensive coordinator, making him a safe yet high-upside pick.
