into some of the train of camp news and notes and I'm gonna try today and today only and this week's episode only I am going to dive in to some of the hype and I'm gonna you I'm gonna go both sides I'm gonna play the happy hype the downtrodden hype so the the players everyone they're telling you you have to get excited about these players and then these players suck essentially right both sides because that's what happens this time of year I had forgotten I want a rotten time of year this actually is I've been looking forward to this with the man's a festo now out over at fantasy guru dot com I have my writing the bulk of my writing and research is done you have no idea the the weight off my shoulders because in February we have the Super Bowl I get like a two or three week kind of break even though I'm grinding NBA at that point and then it's immediately very into that beginning of March when the training camp star or training camp free agency starts I'm on the football beat all the new coaching changes across the national football league I start my journey there new tendencies old tendencies put them all in the spreadsheets make charts make graphs pull all the data for that stuff that doesn't change then free agency hits go into free agency who went to what team what roles do all these guys have after that I'm in full on NFL draft mode as you know I'm so balls deep into the NFL from September through January that I don't watch a lot of college football I watch some I pay attention I know what's going on at college football but I don't know what these players are I don't know the draft candidates I start that all right after you know late February essentially I try to start earlier for some of the top prospects just so I'm averse in them a little bit but then I dive deep for in eight week course in in that player profiles write ups rankings talk NFL draft I host the NFL draft shows on serious exam I mean all that stuff that I'm doing there and that starts the journey and then I go back after that we go okay who got drafted where what you know who fits where who doesn't fit where we go through that we look at OTA we wait for the schedule to come out OTA's many camps then I'm writing now we know all we then we've got all the information then I start writing the coaching breakdowns and I'm writing writing researching looking at tape and I have my iPads and my laptop and all this going and watching every single breakdown and oh yeah yeah anyway a lot of work that goes into it now once I've published this stuff for the season now I get to do some of the fun part which is draft and ideally I want to draft with you all as well which is why I pretty much stick to I mean I'm in 16 different leagues but the best ball drafts and I want to draft with the elite mafia I like to draft with my people over at fantasy guru dot com's another reason we get long so well in the community and why we have such a large community as well so that's what I'm doing now the problem is this time of year and by the way this is an uncensored podcast I'm going to drop a couple of swear words here in a moment so if you're one of those people that are very uppity or you don't like cursing all that this show is probably not for you you know I've been told recently you'd have so many more listeners if you didn't curse I'm a yeah I do radio though I do radio for so long I I want to let loose if it's not fun to me if I can't let loose a little bit and I just want to talk like people talk you know what I mean I don't I don't say Fauci Fauci Fauci or Trump Trump or whoever the fuck I don't really give a shit about any of those people I don't give a shit about any of those people not them but I at least like I can talk like a human on the show as opposed to like pretend the world doesn't exist which I fucking hate by the way sometimes like I love my job don't get around but I fucking hate that you oh god somebody's gonna be offended oh no oh somebody just like this or that's like oh fuck we can none of us can talk the way we want to talk normal fucking things you know what I mean I got nothing hide anyway so it's gonna get hairy with that so you know noise canceling headphones hopefully the kids aren't listening because I already dropped a couple of curses there but we're gonna talk like normal and this time of year is fun for that. It also fucking terrible. It's like this. It's like you ever watch saving private Ryan when they storm the beach at Normandy and Omaha Beach. I think there was and they fucking just bullets. That's fucking bullets flying everywhere. That's what social media is in fantasy sports right now. It's just constant. It's fucking warfare, man. It's absolute warfare out there. Case in point. I mean, I woke up on Saturday morning, stayed up. I always stayed up late Friday. I was finishing the man's a fest though. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I woke up and I still tried to wake up, scroll through what I miss emails, tags, all that shit. And all of a sudden Cyrus Allen is the biggest fucking deal in the world. Why? What the fuck is going on? It's all Yahoo. Yahoo decided Friday and the Saturday. And I don't think I follow Yahoo. You know, I don't really know, but I see it doesn't matter. It comes up in my feed, but it's Cyrus Allen. Cyrus Allen. Cyrus Allen. What the fuck is who? And I think to myself, boy, how pathetic. Who's going to fall for this shit? And then I go into my messages and my discord and my notes and social media and questions. And I'm getting 20 Cyrus Allen questions. Cyrus Allen is a fifth round pick by the chiefs, by the way, in case you're not part of it, which I really envy you if you're not, but it's just fucking incredible that he just now is supposedly great. Cyrus Allen has no fucking chance of starting for you in fantasy this year. She's no fucking chance. Guys, what haven't you learned? Darwin, Thompson, fucking Justin Ross, a fucking Skymore, honest to fucking God. At what point are we going to wake up and realize like this, this team, the chiefs, have a great PR department. Just says what it is. Stop taking the bait. Stop taking it. Like, why are we taking the bait? I fell for Kaderri's Tony because he was a starter and they gave up capital to get him, but I never thought, I mean, Justin Ross legitimately, Justin Ross was a fucking absolute bonafide stud for what was a Clemson. Was he Clemson back in the day and then got hurt. So like, there is at least something. Cyrus Allen, what are we talking about, man? They've got Rishi Rist. They've got Xavier worthy ahead of them. They're not going to throw nearly it's quite honest. If you want to look for somebody, Jeff Caldwell is a fucking like a beast. You want to talk about a receiver that could jump up out of nowhere on the chiefs? That's your guy. Cyrus Allen, what the fuck are we doing here? I mean, it's really that crazy. Now if you're in a super deep league, okay, you're drafting 20 rounds. You're going to wait. You're in a dynastie league. Absolutely. Okay. Fine. But come on, man, be better in that shit. Be better. Don't fall for that. Nobody need you. You don't need the better. You are. I'll tell you guys, man, Parker Washington, Parker Washington is every other tweet in the fantasy community. And the thing is another thing to understand is that we all see the same thing. I want you guys to understand. I think that is a very important piece of the puzzle that you listening, me broadcasting now, we together are seeing the same thing. Now I think what I see is unique. You think what you see is unique. And it's not you know how I know this. I'm in a tight knit chat with our serious XM guys and our elite sports guys, Ted Schuster, Ray Flowers, Philbacker, Son, Troy, and Nello and I. And we're always throwing out ideas and show ideas and talking within chat. And we're going back for all time, like 24/7, 365. And do you know how many times like the funny thing is Ted doesn't pay any attention. So Ted though, he'll go on a barrage. It's usually like Wednesday night, Thursday night that he just starts sending us a bunch of shit. And it's already stuff that we sent earlier in the week in chat. It's like it's hilarious. We have a running gag about it. But we all say and then it's Sandra sends something. I say, Oh, I saw that yesterday. I send something feels like, Oh, I saw that earlier today. It's the same shit. We have the same feed. So it's happening when you think that you're seeing something unique, interesting, different, whatever. It's not. It's going to everybody. And thus, if you try to get like Parker Washington, if you're trying to get Parker Washington, everybody trying to get Parker Washington. The problem of Parker Washington is clear. He's a slot receiver. I mean, what if they play, they drafted two tight ends and gave Britain strange, what a $30 million. This off season. Do you think the Jaguars are going to continue to play a ton of 11 personnel? Okay, you don't think that great. Good. Cause they're not. So why do you think Parker Washington, who's played 75% of the snaps out of the slot? You think he's going to be in two wide receiver sets? Okay, over who first shot draft pick guy, whatever, 14 hundred yards and 10 touchdowns, Brian Thomas or Jacobi Myers, you just got $60 million for the club last year, 90 million. I'm sorry. I mean, is it really easy? Is that just academic to see that? And I'm asking earnestly, because I guess it's not. I guess it's not. Guess it's difficult. I guess you guys think the Brian Thomas and Jacobi Myers, who they signed and traded for and they're going to be off the field. It's like, I had that's very unlikely. Now, so Parker Washington's going to play. And again, there's other people that also think the Travis Hunter is going to play on offense, which he's not. Thankfully, if Parker, if it was last year, Travis Hunter coming in. And by the way, let's also understand that I'm the one who told all of you Parker Washington had a great relationship with Trevor Lawrence last year. This was all set on this show. It was said, I'm elite sports. Last year, we have documents. We tweeted out from the series, I have some account me talking about don't forget about Parker Washington Trevor Lawrence loves Parker Washington. I did this a year ago. A year ago, I was in on Parker Washington. Read last year's Man's a Festo. Right. So I'm now telling you your way too aggressive on Parker Washington. It's propaganda. This is what this shit is. It's now just fucking propaganda and you're just jumping the gun. Here's moving players higher and higher and higher and higher and higher. Parker Washington is going ahead of DJ Moore Mike Evans to Vante Adams Roma Dunes a Marvin Harris and junior Brian Thomas Jr. So that obviously solves that riddle for you. Wow, man. First round picks, Colonel Tay Jordan Tyson. No, Parker watch 5 8 and 3/4 Parker Washington. Like holy shit. I'm a Parker Washington guy. I said how many times last year Parker Washington can't lose. Set it over and I said it over and I said it over and I said it over again. And now he has a good half of a season and it's as if you just discovered gold or something. So it's surprising to me. It's way too over the top. And the latest one is Jacobi Lane, who I like Jacobi Lane liked that the Ravens drafted him. But now he's crouched everything. That's unbelievable. Made a one handed catch. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh boy. I don't know if Jacobi Lane, I think that Elijah Sarrett is probably is definitely a better fit for what they do in Baltimore than Jacobi Lane. I test Walker is better downfield ball skills than Jacobi Lane. So he's going to be playing for that third water see response there as well. I don't know what they flower. You got to remember anybody. So everybody gets their information from the same place. Nobody thinks that. But you guys go to our lads.com. Everybody does it blah blah blah. Okay, you go to our lads and you see slot water see that's something our lads is behind the times. This is the thing about fantasy football. If you're not ahead of the competition, you're behind. And our lads for every team, they have a starting left water see right. Widers, even slot, wider, see where they're not going to play this slot as a much. And maybe it's not really up to our lads. They're probably doing the right thing by having a slot. But it's our misinterpretation because over the last eight to 10 years, that slot receiver that means I'm not going to be in the next one. I'm not going to be in the next one. Oh, all these guys are useful because they're on the field so much because everybody was playing a few years ago, every team in the union was playing 80 plus percent of 11 personnel. Last year, five teams played 11 personnel, 80 percent of time. Well, Jett and this year, nobody's playing it that much. There's not one team that I could point to that will play 11 personnel, 80 percent or more in 2026. Not one team that I could say that about, right? It's just it's simply not going to happen. In that feeling, it's like, okay, well, if no, if hardly anybody is playing 11 personnel that much, in fact, nobody last year, nobody played over 70 percent. Not one team played 11 personnel over 70 percent. Not one team. 69.8 was the Titans. That's crazy, man. And this year, it's going to be 50/50, dude. So these slot receivers, they're not really needed. And yeah, guys at Parker, Washington and Zay Flowers plays on the outside, by the way. Those guys, they'll play, they're going to play outside. But if you're Antonio Williams or Parker Washington, these guys that play primarily on the inside, you're going to be off the field way more than you want. And all of you watching these games on Sunday, you're going to be blown away. You think you're drafting the guys on the field every down. You think you're drafting a focal point of the offense. You're not. You're drafting. And Kai is not going to be even visible. Let me sit on the sideline on a bench for half of all offensive stamps. That's fucking dangerous, man. Parker Washington at 50 ADP of 53 right now. That is legit over the last week. That's a fifth round. Holy sheep shit, man. That's crazy. It's gotten way, it's too aggressive. It's just too much. Simply put it's too much. I've not, I was just saying, Jacobi Lane. At least he's not going to, but that's today Jacobi Lane by the time you guys listen to this on Wednesday or Thursday. Jacobi Lane could be going nuclear, which he should not be. They just gave Zay flowers the most guaranteed money in the history of water sewers. So he's the receiver to get for Baltimore. And yeah, if you want to take super late on, you know, Washington is definitely should be drafting every league. Jacobi Lane in deep leagues should be sirens Allen may be dynasty or super deep, but just don't count on these height players being something on the flip side. You would think that the sentences were 49ers. Everyone's dumping on them. It becomes the norm. And this is why I always stay in the middle. I don't look at Democrat Republican. I don't look at religion or race. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not going to take everybody's fucking sides with all the bullshit arguments that are out there. You know, and I'm not going to take the bait. Cyrus Allen isn't as good as he's being hyped up. Parker Washington's not as good as he's being hyped up. And Jacobi Lane is not being as good as being hyped up. All right, they're just not there. They're they've gone too far. 49ers, it's not all doom and gloom the way it has appeared. Christian Kirk is going to be bad. He's fine. Not wrong with Christian Kirk at all. Mike Evans quad entry. It's legitimately nothing. It's it's been their his entire life. Or I should, you know, as nice entire life. And for the last decade, Mike Evans has been dealing with quad entries, hamstring injuries. That upper thigh area for Mike Evans, his, but he has reported an injury to that spot 16 times. Right. He has missed games eight different times due to that thigh hamstring quad area, including three games last year. Right with it. So like in three games the year before that with it as well. And three games in 2019 with it. I mean, he's he's had a problems with that thigh for a long time. This isn't new. This isn't new. And Christian Kirk isn't that banged up either. Now, pier saws bad. Iook was bad. The 49ers have serious problems with their medical and training staff. And it makes me very skeptical to trust anybody. But it doesn't matter to you when it's Christian McCaffrey or George Kiddell. George Kiddles coming off a tour of Achilles, the same training stat that has dealt with Brandon Iook and Ricky pier saws a portion of recovery. And your trust George Kiddell on an Achilles, a tight end at what 34 years old. What the fuck are you 32 years old? Are you fucking crazy? You're absolutely fun crazy. They bought spraught puries return last year. This training service medical step is a problem. But to so but you trust McCaffrey will be always fine and Kiddles going to be fine. I think that's a problem. Meanwhile, you're out on Evans and Christian Kirk. They're going to be fine. I mean, they will get hurt because both of them get hurt. I mean, they but it's nothing exorbitant. The hype on Desson's tripling was very high until they signed Ebo Samuel 2. And now that's taken a back seat and as well as it should. Stribbling is going to have plenty of opportunities this year. But it's another player that doesn't deserve to be drafted as if you're ever going to start them. A draft and hold on stripling makes a lot of sense. You know, it goes Parker Washington, Stribbling, all throw Cyrus Allen, then should Kobe Lane in that order. For as far as I draft and follow, you'll get the most out of Washington obviously. You get second most out of Stribbling. And then it's draft and follows for the rest. But for the four years, Travis Kelsey, I am stunned how many people fell for Travis Kelsey in the fat suit. You have to know that this is what people do. It was six years ago. Yeah, six years ago that we got sent a training camp picture of Christian McCaffrey and that had the strongest arms and shoulder muscles. Anybody's ever seen since Charles fucking Atlas. Absolutely absurd or surly ripped and everything on people like, oh my god McCaffrey. So rip it's just never was true. Then you literally saw him an hour later live on a video feed. And it's like, he's got stringing arms. He's got definitions. He's got a little bit pop there. But he's done. It's fake. How do you not know that Kelsey with a giant gut? You can tell it's not even the whoever photoshopped it's not even the same color red, you know, it's not even the same color red in the uniform. And if you don't want to be in a Kelsey because he's old and got married totally understandable, totally understandable. This idea that he got fat or what is fucking ridiculous. It's so obviously fake. You're falling for fake shit. Don't fall for fake shit. In the first week last week, I told you Marvin Harrison Jr. He was dropping the ball. They showed clips him just dropped the ball. By the way, now we're seeing diving catches. If you look hard enough, now you're seeing diving catches. Stop showing the diving catches. Show more drops. Cause right now I'm drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. Motherfucking everywhere. And it's fucking glorious. It's absolutely fucking glorious. The other player right now, this is the latest one on the negative side is Trevian Henderson. Oh, man. Oh, dude. Oh, man. He still can't block. Bro, man. Oh, man. Drew bro, man. Dude bro. Oh, man. Dude bro. Okay, great. I'm drafting Trevian Henderson. Yeah. I told you, they're the patriots would have to be fundamentally dull. If they aren't understanding the Henderson has trouble in past protection and scheming out of it, meaning you're bringing in a fullback, a tie down somebody clip that blocker, let in the quarterback, be accountable for some would be blitzer instead of him in order to get the ball in his hand. It's not hard to do. Even if he's a bad blocker, there's been plenty Hall of Fame running backs that were bad blockers. Right. It's not the biggest of deal. So we'll keep him off the field. And as a rookie, we were right to fade him if we did, which we didn't even do it at fantasy guru. We didn't fade him. And I was disappointed by him. We had that nice four game stretcher and Steven Samosal, but I was disappointed overall with Henderson. But you're going to draft him later this year than last year. You're out of your minds. It's just, it's your out of minds. So what I would recommend, honestly, put the phones away or watch different shows play a game, watch porn. I don't know. Do something else on your phone, but try don't think that scrolling through Twitter or TikTok or Facebook or anything is going to give you a competitive It's actually doing worse damage to you. Your normal baseline thought process is better before scrolling than it is after. Thank you. All right, let's get into the Man's a Fest of 2026. What I always do for this article, the article at fantasy guru.com is pretty simple and straightforward. It's a draft plan. What I do is first, I write all about the process. I write about 2026. I write about what's different. I update the coaches and schemes and things like that. Just briefly, I give you resources like my rankings and projections and talk about those and the differences. And then I get into the positions, position group, quarterback, running back, receiver, tight end, kickers, defenses, right? Little IDP, not nearly as much IDP though, as I probably should do going forward, but maybe in the future we'll get into more IDP in the Man's a Fest, though, at least plenty at the site. However, fantasy guru.com. So we did all that and then I go round by round and I give you targets and fades for each position and teams and the best rushing attacks, best passing attacks, so on so forth. It's an all encompassing article that covers everything. Then I go round by round and that's what I'm going to do today. I'll go round one through 16 and we're just going to, I'll tell you how I came up with my drafts. And so while I'm doing this, so I write the article and go through each round and I draft two teams, all right, at the same time. So I'm simultaneously and one is a perfect draft. This means everything worked out and broke exactly how I would want it to break. This guy fell, this guy got pushed up, all the little things, so I end up drafting like the best team possible. You're never going to draft the perfect team. Yeah, on mine, you could draft the perfect, you have a better chance drafting the perfect team that ends up perfect than trying to duplicate the perfect draft team and making that perfect. It's just impossible, right? They're next to impossible. But like Vince Lombardi once said, if you constantly strive for perfection, you just might be able to settle for very good or great, he'd think he said, you know? So that's where I'm at with the perfect draft and the team is loaded and great and everything. Then there's the all-man's team. These are all things that didn't work out perfectly. This is real world shit. This guy got stolen, this guy got usurped, this guy, this guy didn't fall. Oh, I couldn't get this guy here. I had to settle for this. I had to settle for that. That's the way, you know, so I draft a still a very good team and a team that is going to be depending on how 80 P goes and all that. I don't know if we can, you know, if in a week or two weeks we're going to be able to duplicate it or not because players will all fall or all rise. Ideally, we want them all to rise because they're improving in value, but nevertheless. So don't get discouraged if you see these teams and be like, I can't copy them. Don't try to copy them. Okay, read the article. There's a lot in the article that I get into about peace of mind or what's the better word? Mental, mental health. The psychology of fantasy football. Psychology of fantasy football is more important. It's the most important thing to you and to me. We can't control what happens on the field at all. We can control where we're invested. And if you are of sound mind and body and you invest in the right spots, you're putting yourself in a much better chance to win than any combination of players. That's just the damn truth. You're also going to make a lot better decisions along the way. One thing, let me say this to this is something that I realized a few weeks back. Is it right in the man's a festo was fun for me this time around. I felt the coaching breakdowns were more fun too. And I'm really excited about doing these drafts with everybody over at fantasygoura.com. And on a personal level, for those who've been following my work for a long time. And I think that's the majority of this audience on this show. You guys follow me on different things I do. And I really appreciate it. And nothing means more to me than that. It's like my mind is clearer this year than it was last year by a lot. I go back and I read my writings last year. I see what I did and things. I was last year in January of 2025, my brother had passed away. And no way shape or form is that any kind of excuse for anything, but it is painfully obvious that I was a grieving person last year. I brother met the world to me. Still means the world to me. Still have a cell phone sleep by it every single night. My brother's phone is right next to me. Give me alerts and stuff. It's the one piece I still got us wallet on my bedside table as well. You know, here we are a year and a half later. Love my brother, miss my brother tremendously. The grief was real and it was overwhelming. Unfortunately in life and you guys have gone through it. I'm sure. I'm hopefully not that, but whatever everybody goes through stuff and times where you're not yourself. And you're not, you know, right. I stand by everything I did last year. I think we put together good teams. I won a championship. You know, had a real good betting year. Not a good DFS year. Not as good as I am used to having. And that's, you know, that was another thing. And there is no blame at all. But I know that in the things that I'm picking up this year and the way things I've said it a lot, like 20, 30 times. Fillback or inside of an LL want asked me a couple weeks ago. Like you keep saying they conversation went like you keep saying that you see things clearly. Like what are you seeing clear? Like you keep saying, and I'm like, I don't know what it is. I kept saying it because I really didn't know what it is. And you know what I think I kind of piece it together. It's that grief that I was dealing with that burden that, you know, that whole thing. And not only that, like I'd deal with my brothers' cars and his estate and his house. And I had to deal with all this other stuff that was extraordinarily difficult. And I just wasn't in the right mind. My mind was much as I wanted to be in the right place. It wasn't. And I wasn't able to see everything. It's like being a distracted driver. You let your mind slip for a second and you miss a whole lot. You look down for one second and the world changes, right? Can't do that when you have got strong goals. And that's something, and you know, I sit here in 2026 and like I said, I love my brother and miss my brother tremendously. But getting used to life afterward. I went through it. I've lost both my parents. I lost my dad at a young age and I had to deal with that. It's, it takes a while. You're not the same person. You know, there's, you know, there is a grief process. That's why you go through it and talk about it. I probably should have went and saw some therapist or something. Talked it out more, you know, but I didn't. Unfortunately, it's just not what I did. But nevertheless, and whether my work suffered or not, I mean, I thought last year's a solid year, good year. Yes, they aren't all going to be winner. You know, the biggest wins in the world. This year though, I really, I feel it. I feel it that I feel that like the world, everybody, I see things other people aren't seeing. I could tell you Cyrus Allen is not going to win anybody money. Like I get, I know Parker Washington isn't going to play as much as people think. I see this clear as day. I know one of the other biggest strategies I have this year. I'm staying away from the Denver Broncos. You know what I mean? I'm staying away from the Cleveland Broncos. I'm not trying to, I'm not playing hero ball in 2026. I have nothing to prove. I'm not trying to prove anything to anybody. It's best picks, best players, best situations, period. I'm going to win every lead. Is everything going to work out? Absolutely not. I already know it's not going to. But I'm just staying. I'm controlling my own draft drafts better than I did a year ago. Last year, things I believe are Jay Harvey. Great example. Now that one weirdly kind of worked out. But for the wrong reason, there's a bad idea. I'm not going to touch a Denver Bronco this year. I'm not going to be subjected to that bullshit. Teams that don't have a quarterback like the Browns, I'm not going to fuck with them. Right? Miami. I'm not going to fuck around. I'm not fucking with situations that are just all, we're guessing. I don't want to guess. I put too much work into this shit to be guessing. So in that spirit, let's talk about the Mads and Festivals. Let's go round by round. So that's it. That's where I'm at. And I feel that these, these drafts that I did in the article came together a lot easier. I also think to Duke Silver selection is a home run. I think that's another one where, you know, if I would have done things, I would have jumped the gun and done the code name player earlier in the year. And it would have backfired because it would have been somebody like Devon Smith or Beisheil Tutin. And now they're starting to get hype and everybody. And now they're moving up and then we end up ball draft, trying to draft the same guy in the first or second round. It'd be shit. So I've the waiting on it for the timing element. Also as part of the process where I know, you just know your fastball is good. You know your jump shots good. And that's how I feel in 2026. I feel I got my fastball. I got my jump shot. I could rely on that. My decision making is much better this year than it's been. You know, and things are seeing clearly in that case, let's go through. I'll go around by round and I'll do the all man's team and break down and explain to you, you know, why I settled on the players that I settled for or settled or whatever. But for the first round, I mean, the first couple rounds, it's all the same. You have to best team possible. My, what I look for is a table, a chair, a desk, anything that's stable. But again, most houses have what? Four pillars in a house. You have a foundation, right? You make out of this 30, but you have beams, support beams. And usually have two of those four of those dependents size your house. No judging. But you have four of those. The first four rounds, I just want the best players. And I know that sounds generic and easy, all that, but 48% of first round picks disappoint. So I'm not looking. I have no interest in drafting the player that I think is going is or can have the most fantasy points. That's not what I'm doing. I'm like, which one is not going to disappoint? I said this on the air on the XM show during last week. I said, the thing about Christian McCaffrey, if one I get the most shit about Christian McCaffrey last year, even though I was fucking like I saved everybody two years ago, and now I'm getting dragged for last year, not drafting McCaffrey, but the thing people failed to realize is that it didn't matter to me. Having beach on Robinson is my number one running back, didn't fucking hurt me. The outscored McCaffrey at the end of the year when it mattered. Like it didn't hurt. Like you think it got 30 more points. Okay, that's true. And you know, 30 more points or a quarter season to a game. Okay, that's that is something. McCaffrey was great, but I didn't ever have the risk. It didn't and a lot of people won championships and made playoffs to be John Robinson who my number one running back was and Gibbs is my number two. And Jonathan Taylor who I had very high was very good. And I drafted the Aminross St. Brown. I draft my first run picks did not miss either except for I did have a couple of leagues where I just in Jefferson. Now that is a miss. That one missed and we've gone into the Y in the touchdown variance, all that fine. But that if I drafted Jefferson in the first round instead of McCaffrey, then then I missed. That's a miss. No fucking doubt. But drafting B. John said McCaffrey's not a miss. Gibbs instead of not a miss. I'm an onset of not a miss. It's not a miss. It's just not. I got elite production. I started my draft off fine. And you know, you get in these situations where people will stab each other and fight over 30 points. But in what about when you recommend, you know, you know, you get a seventh round player like DeAndre Swift, for example, who, you know, Julius Pepperwood last year and you know, Pepperwood goes for 200 fantasy points and the running backs around him went for 73 108 52. I'm sorry, Swift, a 228 fantasy points last year. I mean, now we're talking about 150 175 point differences. You guys, they are something that you guys some, some people think the fucking world. Oh my God, you missed on a first round pick because of 20 30 10 18 22, whatever number of points. But then in the sixth, seventh round, that's where the six seven eight nine around those later rounds hitting on those players. When you distinguish those players from the rest, that's where you gain 100. 200 points. Players that play in players that don't you gain so much. That's where the difference is made in fantasy leagues. Not in round one unless there's an injury or or Brian Thomas. We weren't in on Brian Thomas last year. We weren't in Amalek neighbors either in year two like like those players, but not where they were being drafted. We avoided them and those are two of the biggest pitfalls in that spirit. In the first round and for the all man's team, this is a different thing. And I've been talking about my preference between running backs and wider receivers early for six months. And the way this works is working out right now is now all of a sudden the market has shifted me to prefer running back over wider receiver. Right. I love the wider see I love like I like to wider receivers in rounds three four five more than I like the running backs in that area. Right. And there's some good running backs when we get back up later. But at the same time, this all man's team essentially the way to build the teams like you start out with in a perfect scenario, I can get Amalera St. Brown in the first and Gentie falls the second or any combination thereof. Because if you're late, you've a late pick, you can do the absolute done multiple times. And those are the teams that most jealous of I think that's the best start in the history of mankind. Amalera and Gentie. But now all man's team, it's not going to work out the way you want to get a pick one. The one that's available right in the middle is all the way through the 80 P of 10s or about 10th or 11th overall right now is asked and Gentie. I talked about Kulinkubiac the system all that. So I went with Gentie. It's the number one pick in this one. I love the late by week 13 by I also love the idea that I it's a direct handcuff with Mike Washington and I'm not going to have to fight anybody for him. I cut you know, thank God. My all in running back this year last year, it was a Kenneth Walker and I'd fight with people about fucking Charbonne and sure enough, Charbonne steals touchdowns for no fucking reason. I don't have any of that problem. This is this is again just seeing last year. I don't regret I would have never there's no set of circumstances I would have left Kenneth Walker last year. Right now I just never would have. But I should have been more prepared. I should have seen it clear that the Charbonne thing is going to be a fucking hassle. Don't deal with the hassles. No reason to deal with hassles. Speaking of which second round pick of the all man's team come back around and I would love the ideal the perfect start if you will is running back receiver. Get one of each. Get an elite guy like I said, I'm on on Gentie. First rounds, Manifique. Absolutely beautiful. Man, all man's team doesn't work out that way. What you're going to do buddy. So when it comes to me in round two, I have a choice. I can go with the water seeker that I like in that spot and the top receiver that's always available where I want in round two. Like if Jefferson was there around to, I'd be fucking all over it. People are starting to get sweeter on Jefferson. If I did this exercise a month ago, I'd have got Jefferson's second round. But it's not. Instead, my next best is Nicole Collins. And right after that, it's Devonta Smith and Zay Flowers. That's my next grouping of the second round while I do seevers and when you really look at that, that's where I look at things like, I don't, I like that group of receivers. But I shouldn't say, I love that group of receivers. However, other people don't. Other people just don't. And what I look at there and my thinking in the man's a Fest of this year while drafting that team was, okay, I take Nicole Collins here. What's available to me in the third round? You know, we'll see that's where, okay, well, maybe that's a jaw challenge situation, right, which you know, I love Josh Allen all that. So what I did for the All Man's team is I'm like, you know, I'm going to be able to still get an elite wide receiver. I'm going to be able to get one of those elite guys that I have in my top 10 in Eagle Constable to Smith. I'm going to be able to get them in round three. You know, I'll be able to secure it. So I'll still get one. I may get Olave in that range. You know, I'm like, okay. And if not, you know, if the worst case scenario comes down to me, Malik neighbors who's looking good and all that, I didn't, I did not want that. If that was the, that to me was the worst case scenario, I could have lived with it. And thus in the second round, I went with Kenneth Walker, the chiefs. I know I'm going to get monster production of Kenneth Walker early, everything in Kansas city. They're all saying what I said in March when they signed them. This offense is going to run through Walker in the beginning. Till my home skits, right? They're not going to fuck around on the goal line like they've done before. I mean, Karimahann is eight touchdowns last couple of years, each of the last two years. I mean, he's dog shit, washed up dog shit. Kenneth Walker's going to be involved in the passing game. This guy's going to be home run. He's the first round running back. I got him in the second round. And also I've got one running back, which I love this. I have one guy early by week five. And another guy, Gentie late by week 13. Bro, perfect. Spread that shit out. All right. I don't love like if you're in a playoffs a week 13, don't love that. But I do like having a, I know I'm getting to the playoffs at that point. So anyway, I can start out with that. And with running back, running back something I didn't think I would do. I did not. That's why I constantly tell people, take what the draft gives you. Don't force it. And when I did this, I did this simulation. And when going through it, those were my thoughts on what position to go with. I felt like the steadfast thing to do was Kenneth Walker there. And start out running back running back. Round three comes back to me. Hot damn hot dog. Who's available? Fuck yeah. Nico fucking Collins motherfuckers. Still available in round three. Fucking believable. Great. I can't believe people are letting the co-fall that deep. But he has legitimately is 80 P over last week is 29 seven. It's a middle of the third round. What the fudge? What's going on with that? That I don't know. I don't know why people do. I think it's, you know what? Maybe CJ Stroud's showing up in like the cargo shorts looking all dumpy. And maybe that's it. I don't care. I love it. That was amazing to get Nico Collins on third round. I say, please, and thank you. And that's the start. That's just as good of a start as you can get. And it gets better for me because in round four, guess who's available. Now so wait, let me go back to round three because this is where I'm sure a lot of my people will be asking me. Jeff Josh Allen was available. Josh Allen was about your damn right. He was in round three. It came down to I couldn't take running back, running back, then go Allen in the third and then wait at wide receiver. Although you know what? Actually, no, I could have. I could have. I got to want to Smith around four. Okay. That's again, lights out as that's almost perfect draft shit, right? That's absolutely amazing. Perfect near perfect draft shit. In fact, in the perfect draft, I didn't get Devonta. That's fucking crazy, by the way. But anyway, that's weird. Yeah, he worked out one and that did not work out in the other. Oh, that's right. I did do it in the perfect draft. I did take Josh Allen the fourth where is I took Devonta Smith. I wouldn't have gone running back, running back. I wouldn't have risked because Collins and Devonta were the only receivers I could trust. Beyond the 80 P of water seeker in to be my number one, I can't go running back, running back and then take Josh Allen in the third round. I can't do that too much risk. I'm giving away too much at wide receiver. So that's what I did. I passed on Josh Allen in rounds three and rounds four. Ron four, he wasn't available. So Devonta Smith was and I'll take that. If Josh Allen would have been there, I would have taken him. Ah, actually, well, you know what? Great. I would have taken him. But I think I'm more, I'm happier with the way it turned out here. I think I like to build a lot better with Devonta Smith and the fourth over Josh Allen. Going into the exercise and doing it that way, not something I thought I would like better, but is what it is. So four rounds, Ash and Jenny Kenneth Walker, Nico Collins, Devonta Smith. I had two elite running backs, two top 10 water seevers, all of which are on different bi weeks. I am through the fucking moon at this point, through the moon. But at this stage, going in around five, I obviously have a hankering and what I really want is an elite quarterback. At this stage, I'm looking at it. If Lamar Jackson is going to be available, I can grab Lamar Jackson maybe if, um, and after that, if it's not Lamar Jackson, I'm just going to wait that the most important thing at this point, I'm telling myself is do not get entangled in the round seven through nine 80 peak Gulch of quarterbacks. Just don't do it because they're going to start popping off the board. And if you just take somebody, Rand, you either get somebody round six or if you got a chance in around seven to get an elite guy, otherwise you have to wait and wait forever and end up with a guy like golf or nicks or, you know, God willing, you know, or just wait all the way and get Malik Willis. If it, that's what it takes depending on what's available to you, that's what to do. But the four first four goes that direction. In the fifth round, I decided to take a plunge and this was an interesting thing. I had a decision, the two highest players on my board, Lamar wasn't there. So it was either their bull Chicago Bears. It was Deandre Swift or Roma Dune say, I had two run-in-backs, I had two receivers. I am very, very, very, very, very steadfast and you have to get running back depth. You have to get that third guy. You can start week in a week out and during the buy specifically. So I'm very high on that. But even with that, there was, I did, there's two guys at running back after Swift. Actually, there's four after Swift that was still on the board in which I felt I'm going to be able to, I'm good with one of these running backs. I could still, and that was a, a Juddkins. It was, oh, Travian. Yeah, Travian, Juddkins, or just talked about Swift and Bay Shaltu. All right. And I'm like, you know what? That's okay for my third. I'm so happy with Gentile Walker. I'm okay. So I went Roma Dune say. And he has the same buy-a-week as Devon Desmit. That's something I didn't love. I'm assuming we're starting three wide receivers in this league, even though it's not a league. It's just, you know, my own sort of, you know, mock, if you will. But it's, you know, that's, I wanted Roma Dune say flex, wide receiver three. I think he is very good chance to be number one receiver in the Bears. He's going to be more of a big play guy. I love Luther Burton too. I really do. And actually in the perfect draft, around five I got burned. And that's weird. That's how that worked out. I have, you know, Burton is very, very good and electric and has a higher ceiling because of the, well, run after the catchability, he'll have more actual catches where Rome's the deeper threat and he'll have bigger plays in my opinion. And so it is a mixed, I those two extraordinary high and I have Roma Dune say as a top 15 wide receiver this season. And so I'm able to get three wide receivers in the top 14 of my rankings. And then come back in round six. Sure enough, there was one of the running backs was still there and it was the guy who really wanted Bay Shelterton who Bay Shelterton. He made it in both the perfect draft and the all man's team. I mean, that is just the pick. That is the pick. Now, did this and published, did this draft over last weekend and I published the man's fest though. Great. All of a sudden, no Bay Shelterton, everyone's hyping the shit out of this dude and I'm worried because now he is pricing. I'm okay with Bay Shelterton being our running back to. I really am. But there is a little volatility there because he's got a fumbling issue and it doesn't matter how well he doesn't train. It's irrelevant. He starts fumbling in the game. His ass is on the bench. That is a problem. So we've got to be careful with that. But you know, the way I'm thinking, if people. Basel Tutin climbs up and gets too hyped and Trevian Henderson doesn't honest to God I would much rather have Trevian Henderson's past protection problems than Basel Tutin's fumbling problems. So I'll just replace if they want to swing those two in ADP which seems to have been happening people are choosing Basel's that are Henderson. I'll just switch it as well. I'll go in on Henderson instead. But in this one I got Basel Tutin very excited about that. And then so at this point I'm sweating fucking bull. This was dramatic for me because the quarterback. And you know I guess it's Kismet or something because in round seven of this draft there was two quarterbacks that I was exceptionally that I still consider to be top and QBs both of which I would highly anticipate being or I'd want to start for me right either one and that was Jalen Hertz and Caleb Williams. They were both available in the seventh round. And to me if I this team to get genty Walker Collins to Vantasmith adunz a Basel Tutin and then still to be able to get Caleb Williams and or Jalen Hertz is fucking perfect. In that case as much as I love Josh Allen and I would take him if Neva Collins was in there Devon Desemite wasn't there. I would take Josh Allen like I've said the whole time but because of that if I'm able to get these two then I do it and I did and I took Caleb Williams. Little more I'll say a little bit I don't think it's as risky. I'm going to talk about Caleb Williams later on in the draft but I will or in the week on serious XML at least but let me tell you this the Chicago Bears just lost their starting safety Kobe Bryant. They lost both starting they lost their top three safeties to free agent this off season. Now they draft Dylan Thinnamen a first rounder and then they signed Kobe Bryant from the Seahawks Kobe Bryant hyper extent as Ney broke a bone in his knee he's out eight to 10 weeks. It's going to miss the beginning of season. The Bears defense if you don't believe in the Chicago Bears this year totally understandable. Number one there's nothing you can do nothing possible Caleb Williams on the cover of Med he is interested what he did last year's cemented. There's nothing there's no chance in fucking hell he gets replaced sat down nothing short of an injury can stop him from playing and we've seen Caleb will struggle at times and then he'll have bouts of brilliance. You accompany that with the defense that is a problem if the Chicago Bears don't win games this year it will not be because of the offense. Then Johnson got the offense lock loaded science deal delivered they didn't get a second pass rusher their county on Austin Booker TJ Edwards the only linebacker that they kept they lose their middle Mike linebacker from last year Devon Bush replaces him better speed less tackling ability of Bush Kyler Gordon still isn't there Elijah Hicks is her Kobe Bryant is hurt they are a mass in the secondary Chicago Tyree Stevenson sucks Jalen Johnson thank God for them that he is healthy right now at least but the bears are going to be in shootouts that means a lot of big numbers for Caleb Williams. So I am thrilled to have him on the all man's team this year outstanding so a pair him also get to pair him with Roman Dune's day I mean just fantastic the only issue is I've got a week 10 problem with three guys being off but it's late enough that I'll be able to build in that equity as well all right so the other thing about it is you know not something most people think about but week 10 only has four teams on by that means there's the two extra teams to choose from in the game so that for opponents and which quarterbacks will be in the waiver wire I get extra game opens things up sometimes people try to you know week 11 there's six teams on by and that's one less games two less quarterbacks off the board so just something you got to think about when you get yourself in the by week trouble because in week or I'm sorry in round eight so now I've got my quarterback three receivers three running backs I'm locked and loaded I don't have my tight end you all know what I'm doing a tight end I wrote it up in the man's a Festo if you don't get brought powers early and if I didn't get Tyler Warren by round five he's not available then I'm always going to punt and that punt I don't think it's punting on tight end I'm waiting on tight end because I think the late tight end tier the pocket the draft pocket of tight end is amazing that pick 100 which is round nine through 11 through 132 that's why it's incredible right LaPorta kiddle likely Kelsey concade Ferguson Andrews gotter all available yeah I have no problem taking from that that train right so I'm not going to go tight end and in round eight my priority there and it was to get more depth at running back I've said it before I'll say it a million times depth at running back is the most important thing you can do who your third running back is this season is more important than who your first running back is it's the truth you really have to have that those backup guys that could swing in for during by weeks or in injuries and whatever even spot starts in flex plays you need it there's just such there's so many situations where the running back the backfields are unresolved and are chopped up so divisively that the production is just terrible the last one the literally the last running back I had interest in is who I took at round eight that was Kenny gain well Kenny gain well the runner up almost became uh Mr. Duke silver but love Kenny gain well only problem is week 10 by now it's fine because my two running backs are 13 and five uh and then seven so I didn't it didn't really affect me that much but you know I do have four guys with week 10 by at this point but Kenny gain getting gain well there I am 4d but running back this all man's team for the first time in years is loaded at running back I've got like just a bout of near perfect setup with that with my running backs this year literally near perfect that is as good as it gets I have no issues only thing I have to do from here on out is handcuff my top in running back that's all I have to do and when I'm in this one with gentian walker my target's gonna be Mike Washington if I can't get Mike Washington somebody's take some from me because I think kubi X could have used the other running back like he did charbonate he's not gonna do that then I take Emma Johnson to ensure Kenneth Walker instead that's what I was thinking as we went forward round number nine you know who I took you know who the fuck I took everybody should know say his name mr. Duke Silva yeah baby now we're fucking talking this team is fire Caleb Williams leading the charge with genty Walker Tutan and gain well running back and now I've got Nico Collins to Vantesmith Roma Dunes a three of my top 14 receiver with Duke silver just playing just filling in literally on this team Duke silver's not gonna start I said it when we did last week Duke silver's supposed to be our wide receiver three don't he's my wide receiver four that that is how you know you got depth and yeah I'm probably on this team I'm never gonna start Duke silver or buy weeks of course but also is important again and because I got the two receivers off week 10 and I forgot who he had he had somebody in week 10 I'm blanking it was not a great matchup in week 10 but it was okay matchers against the jaguars Duke silver Scott jaguars but at home so like uh uh uh okay it'll be good good enough should be you know pass happy game script for camward and Duke silver in that matchup so that's my ninth the round pick and round 10 I'm sort of wide open I thought about the tight end spot here and in the perfect draft obviously everything works out perfect so that's where I got sam LaPorta in that draft didn't work out that way in all man so I waited another round on tight end and I wound up with a jayden read of the packers very happy I like the idea of taking jayden read and or Matthew golden in draft slate I really, I really think that's the way to go. I like the Packers. It's one of those two are gonna jump up and likely be the number one receiver for the Green Bay Packers because it's not gonna be Chris Watson. He's not the number one receiver. He's number one big play threat, but he's not the number one highest paid on the team, but he's not the number one receiver. So I love the idea taking them. It took Jayden Reed into 10th, 11th round. This was always gonna be a tight end. The ones that were available to me in this was Travis Kelsey, Dalton Kincaid, and then I, you know, Marke Andrews, which, yeah, I don't really want to go there. It was Kincaid or Kelsey. It was one of those and I went with Travis Kelsey. Give me the big fat gut. That's not really a big fat gut, but I'll take it and I'm gonna get top six tight end out of the 11th round pick and I'm gonna have a top six guy at the position. I don't know if it can get any better. The rest of the draft, I only had two picks left because in this exercise, and don't blame me for it. Kickers and defense, I have to do kickers and defense. I don't want to write about kickers and defenses. I fucking hate these positions. I think every league should stop doing it, but a lot of you out there still play with them. So I have to, you know, you guys control it. So I'm gonna do kicker defense in the last two rounds in all drafts. There's not any, the kickers and defenses that I like this year, they're good ones. You don't need to pay up for it. The Texans defense is gonna be great, but it doesn't need to be, you don't need to draft it in the 11th round or 12th round. Right. So Kelsey in the 11th, three of 12th round, Chris Rodriguez. By the way, I did this over the weekend, and of course the last couple days, now I've sudden positive notes on Chris Rodriguez coming out. I lock up that Jacksonville Jaguar backfield. If I didn't get Rodriguez there, I would have took the quint Allen. If he was still there. So that's kind of what I was planning on at the running back spot, but I get Chris Rodriguez works out great. 13th round. Not a lot to love in round 13 of the draft, and I don't have, I have a lot of players I still like, a ton of them. Right. I'm the one novelty that I took, or the one thing in Liberty, that's the word I'm looking for, that I took with this draft late in the round. 13 to 14 specifically was, I just took somebody who was available. I tried, and the man's a Festo, I tried to be real and take players that are going in these ranks. I tried to be real and take a look at the game, and I was like, I'm not going to be able to be real and take a look at the game. just through him into the mix in round 13. And then round 14, I did what I told you I would do Mike Washington of the Raiders.
