So this video that Marjorie Taylor Greene just posted online has already gone viral, and it is driving the Republican Party nuts. This MAGA civil war that's still taking place between, like, Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, and Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massey, those folks, is only getting worse. And that is bad news for the Republicans and great news for the Democratic Party. And in this video, MTG is hitting Donald Trump where it hurts, on an issue that Americans care about. Not hard to see what's going on here. She's standing in front of gas prices and pointing out the insanity of Donald Trump's administration. I always like hearing your feedback. But let's start with the clip that Marjorie Taylor Greene posted that is driving MAGA nuts and Donald Trump nuts. She said, California diesel is $8.49, but Georgia is $6.59. Both are ridiculous. The fuel crisis is only just beginning. This also kind of contradicts the points that Republicans make all the time about California. That it is so expensive. It's the liberal policies. It's like, no, no, no. Things are just expensive all around the country. This is not state-specific. Watch this. All right. $8.49 for diesel in California. Let me tell you something. It's $6.59 in Georgia. I don't care if it's Georgia or California. It's way too high. This is ridiculous. Let me look. Everything you buy, your food, your supplies, all of your goods gets delivered by diesel. The war in Iran has got to stop. This is Trump's fault. This should not be this high. It needs to end. Ridiculous. This is one of Donald Trump's worst issues. It's the economy broadly, but more specifically, prices going up and prices going up on gasoline, on diesel, on things like that. And Marjorie Taylor Greene. Marjorie Taylor Greene is out here just kind of openly campaigning against Trump, saying this is his fault. Everything is getting more expensive. And she's not, you know, buying into the Trump lie that it's Joe Biden's fault still. That's what Donald Trump was running with on social media the other day. That, you know, two years out of the Biden administration, it's still his fault somehow for high gas prices. She's not buying into that. She's actually correctly diagnosing the problem, which is rare for Marjorie Taylor Greene. To be clear, she's still, you know, crazy. She's out of her mind. She still believes in these insane conspiracy theories. But she's right about this. This is Donald Trump's fault. She also posted this on Twitter, saying, in response to this, from Patrick DeHaan, who is an expert in gas prices and oil flow and whatnot, saying some wild weekly diesel jumps already over the last week, pointing out that in all of these states, including California, Georgia, Florida, Minnesota, and there's a longer list, gas prices have gone up pretty dramatically. And Marjorie Taylor Greene responded to that by saying, let me explain the significance of this. Out of nine cities nationally with the biggest jumps in diesel, five of them are in Georgia. Of course, she was a representative in Georgia, a former representative. Here's why it's so alarming. Four of those Georgia cities have major interstates running through them or by them. And the fifth, Brunswick, is where one of the major ports on Georgia's coast is located, and containers are transferred from ships to trucks and trains fueled by diesel. Everything we buy is delivered to store shelves by transportation fueled by diesel. I've always said Georgia is the economic hub of the South, with massive interstate commerce running through it. And now five out of the nine cities with the biggest jumps in diesel are located in Georgia. I would say maybe more of a red state. I mean, they voted for Donald Trump in 2024. They continue to vote for Republican governors, and that's why it's so concerning for Republicans that this is taking place in a state. With upcoming very consequential state elections looming, any Republican defending Trump's war on Iran and failure to lower costs of living is doing so at their own peril. The last thing a statewide Georgia Republican candidate should say to prospective voters is that they want to be just like Trump and Trump's favorite, which is, by the way, what many of these Republican candidates are saying right now. So I say keep it up, because I can tell you that the text messages I'm getting from Georgia's MAGA voters are not good, to put it mildly. And of course, what she is talking about is the utter disaster taking place at the pump. Just not even just specifically in Georgia, but it is happening all around the country, and it is Donald Trump's fault. I mean, even Fox News is kind of acknowledging this, which you don't see every day. That's how bad the issue has gotten, saying Americans have spent $107 billion more on gas and diesel. than if there were no conflict in Iran. Think about that, $100 billion, with a B, not an M. An M would already be crazy enough, but with a B, it's sickening. The full cost of the Iran conflict on Americans' wallets becoming clearer the longer it drags on. Jerry Willis has the details. Hey, Jerry. Hey, Taylor, that's right. Americans have reportedly spent about $107 billion more on gas and diesel than they would have if there were no conflict in Iran. That's according to. It's by the Climate Solutions Lab at Brown University. Gas and diesel prices have skyrocketed as the conflict drags on. A gallon of regular gas today, $4.36, $6.31 for diesel. Ouch. A new record. Look at that. A new record high. Just remember when Donald Trump told us that he was going to lower gas prices? That was like one of three things he said at every rally. You know, he would like insult Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, depending on the time. That he was having this rally. He would say that he's going to eliminate inflation. And he would also say that we're bringing back $2 gas. And now we're hitting record highs. Nice job, Trump supporters. Nice one. You got conned again. I mean, I think the con has been very obvious Donald Trump's entire career in politics. But look at the numbers. Just look at them. Facts don't lie. Facts don't care about your feelings, despite them crying about it all the time. And the crazy part about this is the Trump administration is actually defending it. They're not accepting responsibility. They're not saying, Hey, you know what? This is our fault. We got into a war that people don't want. And prices have gone up as a result of it. They're actually defending it. Trump's energy secretary is saying diesel and gas prices will be coming back down. And a host was saying, Are you brave enough? Again, look at this. What network is it on? Fox. Are you brave enough to put a timeline for when they come down? And he wouldn't answer, to put it mildly. Just watch this. He is squirming in his seat as he tries to answer these questions. Diesel prices, gasoline prices, all of them will be coming back down. That's President Trump. That's President Trump's energy addition policies. You saw them before this conflict. You'll see them for the rest of this administration. Okay. Would you be brave enough to put a timeline on when they come down? I certainly can't predict Iranian behavior. I will tell you, we've risen the flow of oil out of the Persian Gulf to record highs right now. About 18 million barrels flowed out yesterday, basically pre-conflict levels, oil production and we're fixing that problem. Refining is the bigger problem. That is impacted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the loss of refining capacity in Russia. And of course, we're still reeling from the Democrat-driven closure of refineries all across the United States. If we had all. I can't believe what I'm hearing right now. You know, we got to start playing bingo on the show. We got to every episode, every video we make, we got to have like a bingo cutout to see what these freaks are going to say on TV. We got Democrat, we got deflection, we got oil prices are going to come down at some point. I mean, that feels like bingo right then and there. So, oh my God, that was so stupid. Refining is not the major issue here. The Strait of Hormuz is the major issue here. I don't know where he's getting his 18 million barrels have been exported. But over the past 24 hours, there have been around six or seven ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Normally, the daily average pre-conflict was 60. So, what is this idiot talking about? And also, the move from the Trump administration now, and we've talked about it on the show, and I think you're seeing it, is they're trying to remove the blame from Donald Trump and the war in Iran to Russia and Ukraine. They're trying to say, oh, it's Zelensky's fault because he's targeted Russia. What are you talking about? You know, they were bragging about gas prices before the war, even though those were still too high. And now that we're in a war, you want to pivot responsibility away. And pretend like the war that you got involved in plays no role in this, where there's a major shipping route where oil is transferred. These people, man, they are so disingenuous and gross. And, you know, Donald Trump has been running that same playbook of, oh, the prices are going to come down sometime. This was a compilation put together by MSNOW. Listen to this. As soon as this ends, those prices are going to drop, I believe, lower than even before. The oil seems to have pretty much stabilized. Are you worried about gas prices right now? No. This is an excursion. I thought that oil prices would go much higher when I did this. What is the plan to bring them back down? All I have to do is leave Iran, and we'll be doing that very soon. Gas prices have come down today. Have you looked? We're hitting into threes now for gasoline, and that's come down a lot lower. That's going to come down maybe lower than when we even started, but just give me a little time. It'll either be extremely good and oil prices are going to drop like a rock, or we'll continue to do exactly what we're doing. As soon as this ends. Yeah. I mean, they've been running this same line for the entirety of this war over six months now. You know, oh, the war is going to end soon. The prices are going to come down. Don't worry about it. It's fine. It's all good. And then another month goes by. They say the same thing. Another month goes by. So disingenuous. They are openly lying to the American people. And I hope that come November, the American people punish them for lying about this stuff. $100 billion additional Americans have spent on gas. because of this war.
