The publicans are abandoning Donald Trump in mass on the campaign trail, and he just made it worse. With a truth social tirade, a complete breakdown, and a humiliation of himself that exposes the cracks in his own manga movement. We have so much to talk about in this video, not just Donald Trump losing his mind, not just advisors in the White House fearing for their jobs, and their lives because they're gonna go to jail, and not just Republicans who are abandoning Donald Trump getting caught in their lives, but booze raining down on everyone. When I tell you we got a lot of great news to get into, that is underselling it. But it all begins with the underlying feeling out there in America right now, which is, "God, I fucking hate Donald Trump." And I fucking hate the Republican Party. And Maggie Haberman, who's really been a thorn in Donald Trump's side, spoke to that feeling, and an interview that I think is very important to Donald Trump's latest truth social tirade, and the booze and the lies and all of it that we're gonna get into. But I do agree that every Republican I talk to is completely freaked out. That is true. That is gonna be bad. Now, many of them will caveat it with, you know, but we want to be careful because we have said this before, and because polling in the Trump era has been notoriously hard, even though most Republican pollsters I talked to think it's gotten better since 2022 and 2024. And that, you know, that they have a better sense of how to do it. But Trump voters in particular and Republicans in general tend to answer the phone less for pollsters. So that is always a waiting issue. However, the anecdotal evidence of just people I speak to, I was in Miami last Saturday, and I was talking to a man who had been a Trump voter, and he said, and I quote, "He turned out to be a real disappointment." He's just another politician. That is the danger for Trump, is when somebody who runs as different is seen as more of the same, to go back to your question and also to go back to the, in nothing we trust headline. In nothing we trust was because these systems were in the feelings of voters, not serving voters. It was serving politicians. And Rich Get Richer, the rest of the country does not. If you run on, I am going to, you know, shatter, or at least some of your advisors, we're going to shatter the Epstein Cabal. Trump actually did it less than some of his own people, including Vance, and his son. And that was the moment, by the way, that last year with how Trump handled Epstein and the files, that was when, according to his own top allies and advisors, that was when they could start seeing his own base stop believing him quite as much. It was the first time that Jonathan and I could recall, and we were out about this, Trump saying, "Believe me, not what you're hearing over there," and it didn't work. So that's one. If you tell people you run on, Joe Biden didn't fix the economy. It's clear that I am the only one who can do this. I am going to reduce prices, I'm going to keep inflation down, I am going to fix this, and also forever wars are bad, and I'm going to drain the swamp. And you break all three, yes, voters can tell. And you not only break all three, you build monuments to yourself. You are building something that is literally called the Ark to Trump. Literal monuments to yourself. And a ballroom, and that is what the majority of your mind share is very visibly on. Maggie Habermann is articulating a feeling within the White House and within the closed doors of Congress that we obviously see out on the campaign trail, and we're going to talk about them and what really is the main point of this video, Byron Donalds took all of the photos of Donald Trump off of his website. Is there a clearer abandonment of Trump than that? Well, yes, there is, Maria Salazar in Florida coming out against Donald Trump's immigration policy. Is there a clearer example that no, yes, there is, Mike Rogers, who we're going to talk about later in this video, saying he wants the war on Iran, which he's supported his whole life to end. All of these people are abandoning Trump, but how has he made it worse? Well, one, bringing attention to it, two, trying to get those people to come back to him, and three, making it more difficult for them to win their elections. And for that, I say thank you, Donald, and we appreciate it, but let's talk about how Donald Trump just made things worse with an absolutely bat shit post. Trump melts down in 449 word rant as Maggie candidate abandoned him. The president devoted his morning to try and convince supporters that the humiliating news was fake. Donald Trump is unraveling after one of his favorite Maggie candidates dropped him ahead of the midterms, in a rambling 449 word "screeed" posted to Truth Social. The octogenarian president denied that Florida GOP gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds was distancing himself from Trump. Another quite frankly fake story is that a very close friend of mine, Trump posted, a man I endorsed very early Byron Donalds is taking me off his website and campaign materials Trump began, before pivoting to his favorite topic, I won Florida by millions of votes getting the highest vote alley in history three times. My numbers are better now than they were at the election he wrote, ignoring his cratering approval ratings in literally every state. The president has offered no explanation for why Donalds' website has been fully revamped with a lot less Trump on its screenshots of the website before and after the makeover clearly shows there is significantly less emphasis on Donald Trump's endorsement, as his popularity among the bag of faithful is less appealing to a broader audience than before. You see Byron Donalds on the first page of his website very prominently, it says Trump endorsed so Trump endorsed and then we don't see anything about Trump in the next section of the website and in fact lots of Trump material was deleted. Republicans across the country have been quietly removing Trump's image and likeness and endorsement from their materials. As poll after poll shows the public's deep disappointment with the president, recent polling in Florida suggests that Donalds, the sitting congressman in the state's 19th district, was considered to be a shoe in for much of the campaign, but is now facing real competition. His opponent, Democrat David Jolly, is neck and neck with Donalds in the race for a governor of the president's adopted home state with decision desk HQ designating the race a toss up, which is crazy. The gubernatorial race in Florida in 22 was a blowout. It was a blowout for Trump in 24. The fact that this is a toss up speaks to how terrible the environment is going to be across the country and it also speaks to Angie Nixon's ability to win that Senate race as well. There is so much to talk about. I first want to say you are a coward, Byron Donalds, you are a coward. He's always been, he's always been a guy who tries to present himself as tough in macho, but he's really triggered by any sort of pushback and for you now to be abandoning Donald Trump is so pathetic, it's just so pathetic that these people are leaving us with the bill. For Trump, no, stick by him. Do it. Or do it legislatively, you're going to do it, you know, behind the scenes, it's stick with Trump. Stick with Trump. Do it. Please show everyone who you really are. It is pathetic that they think that they just get to pass this off on us. And as I always say about Republicans and their voters, they think they're stupid. In fact, they know their voters are stupid. But the stupidity of MAGA can be overcome by one thing. The terribleness of the economy. And that's where we're at right now, the horribleness of this war, devastating immigration policy, especially in Florida. That is the one thing that will overcome their stupidity. Also maybe one day a little class consciousness, that could help it. But that's the place that we're in right now. Republicans think that they can just abandon Trump and all will work out. That is not the case. And it is so funny that Byron Donalds has now had to apologize and put a few more images of Trump back on his website because these Republicans are counting on the $400 million that Donald Trump has in his MAGA ink pack to fund their races. So they're reliant on Trump. They're in between the rock and the hard place with the voters hating Donald Trump and Trump having all the money and then desperately needing the money. And so you attach yourself to Donald Trump so you don't piss him off and MAGA doesn't stay home. But then you're alienating everyone else including current Republican voters. So that's where they're at. And Donald Trump both wants to be the subject of these midterms, but also not. We saw for weeks on end, Donald Trump would say, "Oh, quite wrinkly, I'm really actually on the ballot. I'm on the ballot in this race." But now that he's seen the polling, he's not saying that anymore. In fact, the opposite. He's trying to make very clear. that he's no longer on the ballot. Why would you want to be on the ballot? It's gonna be a lot of losing on the ballot, and it's gonna be a lot of booing on the ballot. Donald Trump got booed in Tennessee today, but this was Byron Donalds in Florida. (audience cheering) The boo's are constant, and they are only going to get louder, because these people are so pathetic, to think that they can run away from their support of Trump calling him the greatest president in history, my president, and you think we're not gonna remember that? No, Americans do forget quite easily, but Democrats will be reminding these people. We'll be reminding voters where everyone stood with Trump, especially on the issue it seems that these Republicans love running away from him most on, and that is his war on Iran. Tonight, the number of Republicans distancing themselves from President Trump is growing, particularly when it comes to the war with Iran. Michigan Republican Senator candidate Mike Rogers was very open about his support for the war shortly after it began, but now he's campaigning against the pain that it has been causing for Americans. People say, "What date is it gonna end? It shouldn't be a date, it should be conditional." And this is why Americans need to stop for a minute, come together and say, "Let's get this done. Get it done right." What do you make of the war that we're in? Well, it's probably long overdue. This is the best opportunity for peace in the Middle East. I think I've ever seen in my lifetime. We're not gonna do this forever. I think this is the right thing to do. I do think it will be over quickly. Michigan families are struggling with the price of everyday life. Groceries cost too much. We have to bring prices down. The war with Iran needs to end and end quickly. - Now, that is an unfortunate setting for that campaign ad, given this is what he said about grocery prices when he was running in 2024. - This is your grocery cart under a Trump economy. This is your grocery cart under a Biden-Harris economy. Take note of him. - Yikes, Jason. I mean, that's a huge turnaround for him to go from, he supports the war, best opportunity for peace too. We need to get out right now. - Mike Rogers does not believe a word that he says. Mike Rogers is even more of a coward than Byron Donald, which is crazy. This guy is a puppet for giant corporations. This guy is a puppet for Trump. He is a puppet for the military industrial complex and he is such a bad liar. Mike Rogers knew and knows how toxic a pack is. So he asked them to not give money directly to his campaign, but pay some of their staff to work for him. So he didn't have to pay them and to have their donors funnel in money from outside groups. They want the support, they still want the wars. These people may challenge the individual, public, I kind of larger, unpopular issues, but what undergirds them, they will always support. Mike Rogers will always support the military industrial complex. He'll always support the war hawks, he'll always support the growing police state. These people will always support money in politics. They'll always support the corruption. And that's what we're going to talk about. We're going to call them all out on this show.
