The transcript captures a raw, emotionally charged reflection on current societal issues, focusing on systemic injustice, media manipulation, and the erosion of trust in institutions. The speaker expresses deep disillusionment with political climates, education systems, and the criminal justice system, particularly highlighting how wealth and power allow figures like Sean Combs to receive lenient sentences for serious offenses. There’s a strong critique of mainstream media, from *GTA VI* to celebrity culture, seen as promoting harmful, degrading narratives. At the same time, the speaker celebrates positive moments—like the revival of *Reading Rainbow* and genuine Black love stories—emphasizing authenticity and community. They advocate for Black-owned media that prioritizes truth over profit and call for greater accountability in how Black lives are represented. The discussion also touches on the need for real, lasting change in Black representation, especially in media and family structures, where care, responsibility, and dignity are often lacking. Ultimately, the speaker urges a return to integrity, empathy, and truth in both public discourse and personal relationships.
My mother was a real whore.
And a junkie.
And she traded me for $10 in a fix.
I wish I remembered the line after that.
No, I don't.
Lynn Whitfield.
Yeah.
Now my core memory of an icon.
Yeah.
For that.
Yep.
Thank you so much.
You know who you are.
We'll get to you.
You know who you are and you know what you've done.
we're getting to you welcome back everyone to the program i'm asada shakur and i am patrice
russian and this is the read thanks for coming back thank you for coming back indeed well how
are you holding up in this shithole earth 666 earth martin luther king boulevard oh my god
hell what it is yeah things are not great
i honestly the chicago ice race have had me fucked up for days the babies being yanked
out of their beds and arrested all that shit that really like someone's grandpa just being
i can't literally i cannot fucking take it tackled like i'm about to cry in the nfl
it's just
oh my god just at the at just at the the car wash yeah yeah just people i saw this meme
maybe yesterday or the day before that was like i'm not gonna get the quote all the way right but
it was something like for those of you who are experiencing deep depression or intense depression
due to the current social climate and political unrest
just
you
I just remember that there was a trillion dollar propaganda campaign built to numb us all and it
didn't work on you and i was like well yeah there are days i wish it did that's the issue you know
i'm like girl you're not telling me nothing i don't know would it help because it wasn't just
to numb us it was also to destabilize us to fuck us up to to make us feel so bad that we struggled
to connect with other people and struggle to fight back like that and it's been quite successful in
that in that way bitch this is very fucking hard to do like i get where that person here you go with
ariel black on this fucking picture of jim halpert like i'm supposed to feel better i wish i would
just stop right i get the intention but this is also bad like this is yeah this is it's not great
to be so despondent by the news that you feel paralyzed yeah well you know i don't know i don't
well let's get into some excellent blackness yeah and a segment called black excellence well
the root back black black really oh amen i have not looked at the roots since them white people
bought it well the white people not bought it because
one ashley allison democrat political strategist former obama white house official cnn commentator
baddie okay she's officially acquired the root um and has said that she plans to invest in video
content uh building partnerships with experts and creating in-person experiences for readers
she told cnn this isn't about making more content but rather about making meaning of this moment
it feels good in a sea of uh scariness and trash so you're like well something people out here still
with the energy to to stand up and get stuff done in the name yes and um yeah the root is was founded
in 2008 and so it's kind of really in my opinion or i mean in my perspective it's kind of really
like lived alongside me as a black
yeah a place for black voices um and there's always been something iffy about those places
and publications being owned by folks other than us right so because they'll have us publishing
whatever for the sake of clicks and views whereas black owned media tends to be a little bit more
discerning about what we put out there and it's not just about the clicks and ads and etc etc so
i'm very excited
for this uh congratulations miss you said ashley allison yes ma'am with two l's on beautiful
beautiful and i wanted to say did you see that michael the librarian is the new host of reading
rainbow i did see that i haven't like read about it yet i just saw isn't that beautiful oh my god
i almost cried like that is so if they're bringing reading rainbow back which is a great idea
needed now more than i mean ever ever i actually think our literacy rates have probably dropped
dropped since the 90s when it was all um yes i just love that i i'm so i'm so proud of michael
even though i do not know that man from a can of paint but he you know he's been very open about
his mental health struggles and i'm just so glad he's here to see this moment and and be part of
this uh so it's just really beautiful so congratulations brother yeah congrats i thought
that was really cool yes um and i
i pray that the the folks tap in oh yeah well we need an adult version because you know of course
reading rainbow is for kids but we need one for grown people because that too god damn yeah it's
bad reading rundown reading wrap up something something something to get you niggas on phonics
because it's bad my god and it's the schools it's the education it's the government not giving a
fuck it's all of that yeah
yeah i have two words for you f cat f cat yeah it was is that a florida thing
all the florida folks y'all okay all right illiterate illiteracy joke oh damn standardized
test joke
okay and also
like none of the we were in school like in high school saying out loud jed bush can't pass this
damn test and he knows it like we were children we were kids and we were like this is stupid and
they're basically there should be an f cat yeah docu-series ronda santos probably came past it
either this is what i'm saying this is what i'm saying but the girl babies were like ho if you
don't have a 95 you won't graduate stupid damn y'all strict well for this step like for a test
that was not an sat that wasn't like you're fine it was just like just a an aptitude test but if
you don't get 95 you won't graduate interesting how did anybody graduate okay never mind
all right i'm
okay i'm guessing five people graduated every year i mean florida florida florida y'all figured
it out florida florida i just saw somebody from florida was the person who started the palisades
fires work i said why would you come all the way i don't know that i have no idea right i haven't
seen i haven't been able to to like dig into the story because it literally just came out but i
know he got arrested earlier today for
burning down half of the state of california it's fucking insane
love oh yeah sorry it's another one of your people it's your it's your people or my people
doing something dumb every fucking day we're just from there we're just from there bro right
i'm just from there honestly it would have been a toss-up is between florida or new york
that's where i was born you know what i'm saying but women they just go where the nigga at yeah
you got she got to the states first she has the states first it was in new york with her mama
he went to florida with his mama i was like bet got the place she was like all right they got
sun and this cold shit is not right it's warm and cheaper that's where i was you know so i got
florida yeah i mean well i was born in louisiana which if we're talking about education and such
it's not doing too much better than oklahoma but i just come from country niggas and i'm not ashamed
of that at all i wouldn't choose something else i'm ashamed of what the backwards ass
racist ass republicans who are willing to shoot themselves in the neck so that don't nobody else
have nothing i'm ashamed of that but the niggas i come from are everything it's it's it's what y'all
are doing all the time all the great things about florida are black like like when we're talking
about this totally different conversation right yeah totally different
can't control the you know the narrative and we got gta6 dropping next year which is set in vice
city which is a spin-off of miami oh yikes and so the new grand theft auto meta will be based
around my city so that's forward to that i mean um i can't say i'm shocked about it as it is
1000 going to be probably the best-selling game of all time if not up there because it's the one
game like everybody play yeah yeah it's too much for me i can't take it it's trashy yeah it's
trashy it is yeah yeah the part about beating up sex workers and getting your money back they don't
you don't really do that anymore well i've never i've never been able to bounce back from that that
is so abhorrent like that is just really true why why were you ever able to do that i have no idea
i have no idea i don't even think sex workers are anything like anyways yeah yeah okay right
and
actually let me not even speak too soon because i don't know what any corporation is doing anymore
girl the grass has been trump cut the snakes are not even hot they're not even slithering away
they're like whoa i can breathe right so who knows it's gonna be you can be up next gta that
may be like exactly and strippers and prostitutes you can run over black kids protesters yep
you can shoot lgbtqia kids you can turn the haitians around
at the
at the fucking coastline it'll be cubans like it's gonna be giving that yeah
pierce and then after the cubans turn away the haitians ice comes to arrest them too like you
it's so bad over here somebody immersion immersion like i literally just want to be
taken like i just take me just one of y'all any other country me up out of the planet the planet
this is so bad just scoot me away i'm okay anyway so speaking of the ghetto versus is back
we're doing hot tops um why is versus back i don't know okay but they're back for complex con
maybe this is a one-off well no because this clearly says the return of verses
complex con cash money records versus no limit records live from las vegas on october 25th
wow who all gonna beat her i wonder like that's a lot of originally it was cash money versus bad boy
oh yeah yikes i'm kidding but cash money
i don't know that's a very good question i'm assuming at least wayne and masterpiece will be
there and baby i'm thinking wayne i assume baby and masterpiece at least will be there
yeah yeah everything else i mean if they shit right right yeah right and that bare minimum
is nowhere near enough for me to care i'm probably and that is with the due respect
of our history our our bops yeah yeah and uh my millennial my millennial family
i don't care enough to tune in to whatever this is if it's oh i do and masterpiece gonna be there
you let me know how it is i do i'm sorry cash money versus no limit that's how you get me
tuned in bitch i am so sorry that's how you got me girl you got me i'm not gonna pay to stream it
but if it's free i'm gonna watch that oh wait you know what i'm gonna watch that i'm gonna watch that
you know what no i think about it i'm sorry that's those two i haven't seen a versus in so
long am i you i'm kind of forgetting the i think i was a little bit forgetting the um the back and
forth the energy yeah and the dynamic yeah it's less of a concert and more of just i think the
actually the energy in the room matters more in verses now that i think about it than who's there
because it's kind of just yeah
like whoever represents blah blah blah or the artists themselves if it's individual
and then you're going back and forth over these hits and seeing like the reaction and the energy
so now that i think about it yeah it's just a shame y'all might be dialed in for this anyway
it's a lot of assholes who have had big big hits on those labels so
every other song is gonna be somebody i've you know have canceled or has serious allegations or
probably etc etc like you think about them niggas drake nikki oh you think drake will pop up she
gambles oh she does she got a bad gambling problem actually well i don't know if it's a problem but
it seemed like it like i i think it's it seems bad to dance with the word problem yeah yeah again
when you are dressed like dej love at the club by yourself
all right all right yep gambling yeah on a mega mega screen it's bad it's bad i just would you know
have a little question or two i don't even get the appeal when you already have so much money
but i've never gambling's the one thing that has never appealed yeah that's it that's it because
it doesn't really appeal to me either so i think that's just the part of it but also i've had that
that question too when i was younger and as i've
grown i'm like i think it's just a part of like rich cigar smoky trashy maybe so like rich guy
culture they just love being a gregette speed yeah wall street coke lines yeah and poker chips
right i think my issue is that it trickles down then to regular everyday niggas gambling they
fucking mama's mortgage money and shit and it's like i don't i don't especially
no thank you i do not want to definitely spend money to maybe get some back like that don't
mama but y'all are out here especially when you're on streams with aiden ross and
200 000 children being like so yeah you just use this qr code and go right on it oh yeah and just
tap tap tap tap tap tap away i don't it's bad espn is running the betting ads on every fucking
nine times an hour they got a show that's just espn bet where like they tell you what they think
the best bets are for each like it's bad the sports gambling is horrible in this country
it's crazy how much i'm hearing about sports fans being like my team my team my team now
and specifically talking about that oh there are yeah because then when they don't hit they
parlays or whatever then they go cuss out the athletes and the athletes are like bitch i didn't
tell you to bet on me like i don't know what you're talking about i don't know what you're
this is your problem excuse me you need to call that right next time keep your con ed money and
don't put it on whether i get 200 passing yards in a fucking game bitch leave me alone furthermore
bitch have you watched the hunger games you didn't send me not nan bottle of gatorade you
didn't send over a single provision you didn't send me like an ice pack for my my ankle like
bitch i didn't so yeah that's what kevin durant said i think he was trolling but he was like and
when y'all hit them parlays you don't never send me that money i don't know what you're talking about
i don't need nothing it's like well no they don't nigga they sure don't can you believe it
well fun for cash money and uh for no limit again back to bad boy so mama has received
sean combs has received 50 months uh in her sentencing for
uh just soliciting
a giant pile of crimes it was so many crimes yeah but she got one like it was like a ton of crimes
yeah but i think she was charged with just like i can't remember the actual term of it but it's
essentially uh pay for prostitution or transporting transportation to engage in
prostitution right there that's exactly what it is right um so uh judge gave him 50 months
um so uh judge gave him 50 months
judge aaron uh subramanian he said you abused them physically emotionally and psychologically
why did it happen for so long because you had the power and resources to keep it going
and because you didn't get caught a meaningful sentence is needed to protect the public for
further crimes and to be honest with you sean
this is cute extremely all things considered it's very adorable considering what you deserved
like what you deserve for basically for a for what you're charged with
but further than that for what you did right you should be getting way more than 50 life
you actually shouldn't be back out i'm scared of you
you know the girls i saw they said they're already trying to
appeal and they're already trying to appeal and they're already trying to appeal and they're already
all there requesting a low security prison in new jersey one that has a drug rehabilitation
program or drug resistance program included in it or some like that and i'm like
girl
and also like
keep them closer to family and stuff so it's very much giving like do you remember the episode of
spongebob where mr grabs plays a little tiny violin that's an actual tiny right yes it's giving
very much that um i i actually set up and had to like stifle after when i read this report on mbc
oh no on e-news um that mama had a line of speaking engagements booked i could not in miami
my nigga in next year it would be miami of course don't go you was gonna go right mine's like his
favorite place i think he still has out he's sure he still has a house there he's made a
girlfriend when he's in miami right all kind of shit kids and everything but um
yeah
he was really crazy was booked to speak at something at the miami foundation on october
we would we would we would we would we would you booked this nigga before the sentencing
and had multiple teaching engagements the lawyer was like it's not speaking
engagements it's teaching engagements teaching what what
people thought he was annalise for real i couldn't believe
that they said that even if he did have engagements why would you tell the court
that's so disrespectful so you just assume you gonna get right on out of here and just go on
about your life like we're just gonna teach like you ain't doing all this heinous shit um
how to get away with evil no obviously not but i just could not i said wow all of that i just
really the the gall and audacity of these extremely wealthy people will never cease to amaze me i just
u.s attorney christie slavic called it the height of hubris exactly that news and i just feel like
that's a very accurate accurate uh term yeah all right wow well you know you only got four years
and and he gets the um credit the time he's already served so it'll be less than four years
exactly in prison nigga that's nothing compared to the shit you did
it's all sort of like a year
it's a lot of rumors going around that trump might pardon him
well he had he confirmed that did he asked i don't know if they
oh because he's a current right right uh do anything but yeah he might
he might i really don't know like i i can't call it anymore and i've officially decided
i'm taking a break from caring i've done what i can and now
what about what about what i feel
what about me what about what's best for me like i have to just you can't run yourself
into the ground behind these niggas there's only so much i can do yeah i saw them 50 months with
credit for time served and i said okay well i guess we should be thankful he got anything
really i guess but also 50 how are you trolling this man on like six different posts and you
didn't make a 50 joke it's like i don't understand what y'all what you niggas be doing like it's
right there but so okay he isn't a smart person you do that also why aren't you posting updates
about uh medea
what i want to know why he's not posting updates with his new home girl medea
that he went to go get mentorship from and how she's uh attempting to dismiss this white lady's
case because it was filed in the wrong place what are you telling me something brand new for
the first time i don't know how
accurate this is okay but it's been
alleged by a law vlogger
that tala perry's team is filing a motion to dismiss because derrick dixon who's suing him
for sexual misconduct filed this claim and
in california rather than in georgia which is the wrong jurisdiction and that
because their business was conducted in georgia he is accusing uh derrick of forum shopping
in la basically or whatever also he says tala perry uh isn't she says that tyler perry
is the person who filed the claims and uh they're going back for like the
using tala perry for financial gain thing um which i'm like
he was a regular on your like if he had a job on your on one of your shows like
i mean yes yes financial gain indeed correct
you are the very rich man writing the checks why would i now need to jump out the window into you
for financial gain i mean i just don't i i believe that white man that's all there is yeah i mean i
think that really just unfortunately i believe that white man yeah i do okay so they might throw
it out and make him refile in georgia i wonder if he that's my thing it's like yeah would let him
get more money
or something it must be a the attorneys must have had some sort of legal reason for that
but okay i'll let them sort that out yeah we'll see whatever last of the jail girl is uh tyrese
who was booked for them dogs i told you about them i told you i told you i told you
yeppery um cops raided his place even detained his granny
damn not me mom got caught up
me mom got caught uh that sucks that's like i know she probably told you to get rid of them damn dogs
anyway okay i don't know i never liked them damn dogs imagine if you're just in the middle of your
stories and it's really good oh yeah and it's just coming up on a character arc or story arc
that's just you've been waiting for the climax and then here come these next game because
your fucking grandson you know told about these dogs that he hasn't trained don't you know whatever
and now they got you in cuffs in the bathroom and you don't know what gonna happen to esmeralda
like what is going on well he turned himself in when he well yeah got back from wherever he was
and um got him mugshot it up yeah i know he was in and out of jail like i'm sure you know he got
twenty thousand dollars paid his yeah and
and got right on out but i knew this i knew that wasn't gonna be him posting on instagram saying i
rehomed the dogs was not gonna be enough i knew it wasn't of course someone lost their kid my baby's
dead right yeah yeah we we're going to jail or you're going to jail yeah and we going to court
we are we're gonna figure this out one way or another but no i'm not letting that go i'm not
i fully understand yeah i get it yeah because i would do the same thing nigga i don't care
the law is getting involved if you if your dog does something to harm my baby yes the law is
getting involved don't it's actually a nice little transition for me because first of all let's move
on to some nice things sort of yeah so uh my girl meg is still with the sliced skin man
they look very happy together
i mean big cheese in just he seems obsessed but i want to tell you that's like whatever
my heart opened up when i saw foe yes foe loves this man does
foe wasn't him holding and and snuggling off of and his little uh photos that he posted on hers
she posted a little video and he just climbed up on his
on clay's chest started looking on his ears and stuff like that i was like that's how i know
yeah foe was like oh daddy this is my dad you can't talk to him don't don't talk to my father
thank you yeah and clay's dog just died i didn't know that clay had a an english bulldog that died
in may and he had that dog for 13 years so i'm sure it's i'm sure it's mutual oh god
if i knew that when i saw this picture i probably would have cried
i'm so glad that you just told me this
all that oh my god yeah rocco so i know forrest healing him and forrest like you know i've been
waiting on a daddy yeah and you'll do you will do my mama's happy so i'm happy yes giving that
really warms my heart that was really beautiful yeah okay just don't fuck it up clay that's all
i'm asking just don't fuck it up because i only like you as long as meg likes you there's that
honestly i hope i'm not wrong about this i don't know like he just he seems kind of just like
a nigga who loves her and probably into a lot of the same shit as she is like i could see them just
both barefoot on the couch with flow in between both of them and they're just watching mob psycho
100 or attack on titan or some other anime shit oh yeah she got her little boo-boo
on her on the right shoulder and she's just got her head on his shoulder it's just sitting up
watching anime and being dorks yep that's what they that's what this gives me but you know
as crystal said if and when meg says the time's up
god bless you she seems so she just i every time she posts something new i'm like we don't deserve
to get these little peeks into your romantic life thank you for sharing them because it's so it is
just so lovely to see me
being loved the flowers and the kisses and the cash did you see them stacked did i see it
talk about he gave me some money to go out with my girls bitch what this look like
tens of thousands what is this there's like a hundred thousand dollars god damn bro just go
oh you're going out with your friends here have fun what the it might have been a hundred i think
it was 50 i don't know how much it was i i've never had stacks of hundreds like that i could
not even get it i don't know how much it was i i've never had stacks of hundreds like that i
can't count couldn't guess you could have told me it was half a million and i would have believed
listen again florida public school i don't there's only so much oh but yes she looks so happy i love
it a rap chick's nigga who's having maybe less fun is stefan diggs because
i'm reading on us weekly that he's being sued for uh an alleged assault by his ex
mulan hernandez and um who i'm reading also starred on basketball wives orlando
i said orlando that a basketball was orlando never heard of it for what never
heard of this girl or that show or land why of all like what for what anyway well orlando has a
team yeah girl what do you mean okay i'm sports low but please respect me like i mean i know that
they have a team bitch so it's like atlanta so does i don't know chicago like it orlando
yeah well i think it's probably cheaper it's probably something about shooting in florida
where they don't have rules and but they already have one that's very cheaply and
i i i thought the original basketball wise was in miami right but i have not watched it since
i'm jackie christie i mean christie's wife i'm a boss like it's literally been probably
almost a decade at this point so i don't know this girl at all i promise i don't yeah
at all and how she um she's doing stephon diggs for an alleged assault she says took place last
summer and claims that stephon is trying to silence her and attempted to get her to sign
an nda even flying a personal assistant out to houston where she was at the time to get her to
sign an nda um in hopes of keeping the incident away from the nfl uh
he i believe is countersuing her and her own girl oh okay saying that he was letting her stay at
his place in houston one night or the night of the incident that she's talking about she came home
uh after a night of partying super drunk and started an argument a fight started busting up
attacking him he didn't touch her so on and so forth
tale of souls time so i don't know these individuals or these people we'll see if there
are more bits of this story to come out but obviously i'm looking at this and i was just
like i would not like for cardi to have two baby father in the rear view that she wanted to like i
hope at least when
things end with this one you don't hate him and he doesn't
make you want to commit a crime the way that you say that you did with the other one i think this
is what uh many people have been thinking and saying because who is this nigger like
who is this nigger um but uh
yeah i found that to be like oh god because to be honest with you i don't believe in any y'all's
relationships like none of them i i really like i don't i don't believe you that's i don't believe
you i don't i don't believe especially straight people oh yeah no please like immediately and
that's fine that's fine because people shift and change like the the tides of the ocean blue
oh that was cute but girl girl baby not ten toes on a soapbox oh over a mystery my girl
yeah these are not his only allegations i know so i know it would just be a shame
for that man to you know reproduce or anything but um yeah it's uh it's pretty bad that's i mean
that's pretty terrible
the the man saying that he drugged him and tried to
have some sort of sexual contact with him and tried to have him killed afterwards and all this
that's all very tragic and awful um and yeah he's got he's got a pack of children
being born here in the in this last year or so and allegedly some more on the way
so seems like his life is kind of chaotic but he doing good on that football field
you know what i heard that
you know what i heard that
i heard that do you want to know how how much of a gay
loser i am well gamer we'll say that gay g-a-y yeah i was on the twitch and i was watching someone
playing a game on the twitch and that person loves football football and was watching football on the
side as they were streaming the game and they were talking about the game as they were watching it
and they were speaking about how great stefan dicks was doing and then it happened i was like
yeah he does that well i mean the
patriots the patriots just beat the bills so yeah uh you know okay sure at least you doing well in
her baby or her future but but not much probably but yeah this can't say i'm shocked that a man
already credibly accused of assault is now accused again of assault like multiple this is this has
just been going on for so long this okay but all right like i don't know i don't know i don't know
i know the kids would be like financially good of course all of that
just okay well be careful saying that oh be careful they finna they finna drop you
no i'm not i don't give a fuck i just take everything in take note of everything
asset that you are and what you have to offer like you think you're kind of a titan so
you kind of like i just
discernment just a little bit you know it goes a long long way and it's hard to be like you know
listen things happen and the pussy gets pregnant but girl baby it's just like
one toxic nigga is like a lifetime with one
it's like enough of a stressor it's gonna be like
okay and then then this one too
like
Yeah, I haven't spoke on it, so here we are anyway.
Dads. These men are dads.
Where?
They have an obligation to do what's best for their children, regardless of what else they have going on.
Now, do they actually fulfill that obligation? Almost never.
And for their children's mothers.
Correct. You're not a good dad if you miss the mother of your children.
Can we, may we?
There's no such thing as treating your baby mama like trash, but being a good dad.
They don't want to hear that.
Especially if your baby mama has primary custody of this child.
It's just that there's no such thing.
There's no such thing as assaulting people and. Physically or sexually assaulting people and being a good person.
To me.
That's my own personal opinion, but I don't see how you can do those things and also be, like, a stand-up guy.
I don't, I wouldn't say that, but. I would say again. Y'all would.
I don't know who this person is. I don't know who that lady, this lady is.
Mm-hmm.
This whole case is strange, so I'm not going to jump out the window.
I'm not going to jump out the window and make any assumptions yet.
Same thing, and I didn't even really. The only thing, the only time I heard about this story with the guy accusing him of something was when JT brought it in.
Oh, wow.
So, I don't know anything about that story either.
I'm just like, again, I'm more so, when I first laid eyes on the nigga, I was like, well, he'll be gone.
Because, but I, again, I think I just have, and that's me.
That's a me thing.
I think I naturally just look at couples sometimes and be like, yeah, that ain't gonna work.
But I also say it, like, with the knowledge that it not working out doesn't have to be a terrible day.
Like, you can break up with people, you can get divorced.
It's usually for the best.
And a lot of times it's for the best.
Yeah.
But when it becomes really complicated and tricky for everybody is when you have kids.
So. Groundbreaking.
That's the part that I think people. People are trying to. It's just like, but you know what?
Not my pussy, thank God.
This is what I said the first time.
Amen.
Not mine.
And I've, I've, I've, I said it and I meant it, so.
JT released a diss track called No Hook.
I don't know what it was called this morning.
And JT was very messy for bringing up that gay man, knowing she didn't really give a. shit about being like, I believe we should listen to gay men and not just dismiss their
stories and blah.
Girl, you did not give one fuck about gay people and advocating for their rights or
no shit like that.
You was trying to be messy on behalf of Nicki Minaj.
Leave it alone.
Oh, I thought she was trying to be messy because of, of Uzi.
Cause wasn't Cardi saying something about Uzi got a bag?
Oh, that's right.
You're right.
Something like that.
So she was, I feel like she was trying to like lick me.
But I still think that that was messy.
It was like, you, it's like, okay, so people say this, whatever thing about this man that
you are sleeping with, or you have a relationship with that you love that you don't give a fuck
about, whatever.
And you feel like I'm going to buy back by doing the same thing.
I don't know.
It's like, yeah, no, you're right.
I think it was in response to that song, but it was really more the framing of,
like, we need to listen to gay people and respect their stories and all this.
Like, girl, shut the fuck up.
She says something about you and your nigga.
And so you said something.
We shall.
Y'all let this woman talk this way about kids.
Like Nicki ain't never talked about nobody's kids.
Be for real.
Um, yeah.
But yeah.
How'd you, how'd you feel about it?
You know, um,
it didn't,
it didn't have a hook.
It didn't.
So I told you that she warned you.
Sure.
Um,
well,
it wasn't warned.
Like I said,
I found out it was called that this morning.
Um,
but I thought it was cute.
It was too long.
It should have been about half as long as it was.
Um,
I would have wrapped that bitch up at about two 15.
Uh,
especially because you didn't really have nothing to say.
Like,
like you didn't have much to say.
So past two minutes and 15 seconds,
you just began to say the same things over and over again.
You on your fifth phase,
you're ugly.
Um,
you,
you can't dress like me.
Yeah.
Which nasty girl,
girl,
girl,
I understand it's a diss track.
Y'all say anything,
but please,
you do not outdress.
I've never seen you outdress Cardi.
We both.
I've never seen it.
You look great.
All.
The.
Time.
Like,
it's just like,
you,
I,
I'm not really in a business though,
of seeing somebody else present themselves anyway.
And being like,
I wore that better than them,
or I have that hat.
Or I,
dude.
Yeah.
Are you,
as if like Christian Louboutin is my personal stylist and don't make clothes for nobody else.
And then some,
someday I go out to the club.
I see,
see a bitch in a red bottom.
Like that's not life people shot.
Yeah.
So I don't really even see the point.
This is the same way.
It's like,
Oh,
you got surgery all over on your face or whatever.
Okay.
You got surgery too.
She saw something she wanted to change.
You saw something you want to change.
You changed it.
Who cares?
You have the right.
Right.
And you both wide open.
It's not even like,
we,
it's not even like your hood.
It's just two different hoods,
but both of y'all some ghetto assholes.
I really should be collabing.
Yeah.
There's no,
really no reason for all bitches to,
to dislike each other.
And they did.
Cardi gave y'all a hit.
I did like the pin about only time I seen you with a,
the line about only time I seen you with a pin was at the courthouse.
That was funny.
Cause Cardi just threw that pin at that.
Yes.
So,
so that,
that got a chuckle out of me,
but the rest of it was just calling her ugly a whole bunch.
Which I'm just like,
where?
Like,
where?
Not now.
Not after all these procedures.
She's not,
she,
the original Cardi,
I wouldn't say ugly,
but she was not as conventionally attractive as she is now.
But that's true for just about all of y'all.
That's why y'all go in and start getting shit cut off and nipped and tucked away.
So,
yeah,
she's not ugly.
Just like you not ugly.
This is just weird,
girl.
It's just silly.
But I guess you had to do something.
Cause she definitely did.
You know,
there was a song on that album.
About you and your niggas.
Oh yeah,
for sure.
I can see why you had,
you said something.
And JT is a rapper.
I appreciate that she got in a booth almost immediately.
Whereas a lot of the girls and guys were just running them off on social media,
even after being dissed.
So my thing was,
I would have made it half as long.
And also even half as long.
It's not as good as the original song.
I mean,
it's not as good as the,
as Cardi's.
Right.
No,
it isn't.
It isn't.
It has a catchy hook.
The beat and the production is,
is catchy.
Like it's the,
the tone and the energy on it.
I think Magnet is just a better song than No Hook altogether.
But No Hook is not a bad diss record at all.
And I think it was a good showcase of,
of some of the stuff JT can do,
but man.
And then they said,
apparently you got like 25,000 streams out over a couple of days.
And so Cardi B posted a clip,
herself coming home from the club,
cackling that she spent JT's streams in the club that night.
25K.
So I'm just like,
cause that's not actually a lot.
With Magnet playing in the background.
Well,
I think part of the problem also is that if you go through JT's Twitter,
a lot of the insults that she put in the song,
she tweeted,
you know,
over the course of days,
weeks.
So it's like,
this would have hit a lot harder if it was our first time hearing you say it.
Thank God.
It was my first time hearing most of it.
So yeah.
Yeah.
But yeah,
25,000 streams over two days is not great.
Cardi being like,
let's go to the club and spend 30 and then play Magnet in the background and
shoot a video.
That's pretty good.
Yeah.
That's why I'm like,
I don't know why you came for like money or numbers or anything like,
I don't know why you did that when city girls on their best day is not
touching what Cardi has been able to do.
Because what can she say?
They don't have no reason to actually be beefing.
Like the way.
Why don't we all just focus on the real problem here,
which is Nikki.
Nikki is the catalyst behind all this shit and so much shit between all the
girls.
Now,
you know what I want?
I want Lotto to come out with a song about Cardi the way glow did about
Mariah,
the scientist,
Thank you.
the member glow song i want after you know them jail calls came out i want now that that cardi
audio been leaked i want lotto to do something similar i don't think she will but i would love
to see it i mean i really would love to see it on stage yelling pussy pussy right so who is that
about i agree okay i was also like that bitch was talking who like lotto is the most put it on the
flow she's just like a lot it was petty and very much where are you let's look at least from my
perspective unless i'm yeah so i don't even know i think she was just angry but you can't be angry
you
mean cardi is petty or lotto lotto is petty that's why i'm like why are you saying i'm not
pussy like lotto like lotto doesn't give pussy to me oh right no i don't think so either i think
she just meant because lotto decided to let go of the beef and and be friends with somebody she
never really had a problem with like that's pussy it was like what's she's gonna do again
again lotto saw past what was really going on which is nikki minaj nikki minaj was the reason
that lotto and ice spice wasn't getting along and they was you know shooting these little barbs back
and forth so i don't think that's really true well it was yeah it is yeah it was it started
it did it always does i remember it being about some something about a video
playing in lotto's but that was at the beginning of it right it was nikki having all them girls
like a symbol like her fucking i don't need her little army of girls and she was like oh my god
i don't need her little army of superheroes to defend her against you know whatever rap bitches
cardi and lotto and whoever else ice spice jumped in to the issues that um lotto and nikki's was
having right it's like the barbians of the galaxy why are you girls inserting yourselves where
you have literally no business out of some sort of allegiance to nikki minaj like what is this
about she ain't changed none of y'all's lives
might be a taste of him have you seen it no no yeah the when we read the reviews i was like i
think she think i'm gonna i think i'm gonna actually skip i think it's gonna be a cult
classic i really do it's not it's like i can see how some people anyways okay the whole thing
there is uh yeah there this the lead guy that uh tarik weathers plays oh yeah
he's um he idolizes marlon wayne's character and basically becomes part of this system
that is catering to something that ain't right or that seems very very awesome well well well
and he's just kind of like well i want to be accepted and celebrated too so yeah this isn't
weird this is so cool this is
such a good time i'm having a really good time i don't care that what we're saying and doing goes
against all of my morals and personal values um because you're my fave and so i'm gonna just do
it anyway so i think that's what cardi meant when she called lotto pussy that lotto let it go
yeah i think so too but it's like i don't i don't really consider that pussy that's actually pretty
mature to realize you and this bitch didn't never really have no beef and it was always this other
bitch if you dragged her on like two songs and she
just kind of like backed off what she's supposed to do go to the girl's church
well and let's be for real ice spice cannot rap
so she was never gonna out rap lotto no fucking way i was so glad that she put down the munch flow
for that song they did together that came yeah i was like you can't do that with lotto on the same
song especially after this because let me tell you after fart
you can't do that with lotto on the same song especially after this because let me tell you after fart i was like i'll never listen to this little girl
i was like i'll never listen to this little girl
i was like i'll never listen to this little girl again i'll never that was that was a rough
again i'll never that was that was a rough
again i'll never that was that was a rough a rough moment i like her new song
a rough moment i like her new song
a rough moment i like her new song jesus christ it was bad oh she has a new
jesus christ it was bad oh she has a new
jesus christ it was bad oh she has a new one yeah baddie baddie
one yeah baddie baddie
one yeah baddie baddie there's no shot of talking thank god but
there's no shot of talking thank god but
there's no shot of talking thank god but that's cute it samples that um
that's cute it samples that um
that's cute it samples that um young ladies
young ladies
young ladies uh young gays tick tocks probably
uh young gays tick tocks probably
uh young gays tick tocks probably but i like it
but i like it
but i like it a cute little bop for the children but
have you heard sexy salon
now sexy salon is all over my tick tock
now sexy salon is all over my tick tock
now sexy salon is all over my tick tock for your page
for your page
for your page all over it to the back
all over it to the back
all over it to the back yes and it's mostly people
yes and it's mostly people
yes and it's mostly people right that is so funny because it's a
right that is so funny because it's a
right that is so funny because it's a bunch of videos of white girls bopping
to it and then they hear that line and then the next shot
is them all the way in the back of the house or something
like they putting themselves
in the back like I know how to pay attention
and follow directions yes ma'am
yes ma'am yeah
who did the body
is such a great
name for an album
I just love Mona
Leone she's so so fun
she's so talented I'm
really enjoying
seeing her ascension and things
like that well deserved gorgeous
and it's only just makes me
feel so good
I don't have no business at a Mona Leone tour
I know that you might not have any business at a
rap tour
period outside of maybe like
two artists of a certain age
yeah I was too old for Glorilla
even like of course
so I
know the Mona Leone show is going to be a bunch of
18 to 24 year olds
low key Meg
well y'all
y'all
I'm sorry y'all don't get Meg
but yes
y'all don't get to take Meg from me
I'm not stopping I'm going to keep
going I'm going to the fucking show
right that mega concert
her last tour that I went to
I was like oh I'm
fine
and I'm chopped
yes
speaking of Mariah
the scientist young thugs that he dumped
she dumped him well
it sound like the first smart thing
that girl has done in years
oh sorry Mariah Buckles
why don't you just go by that
it's like such a fun name
it's a cute name right
the scientist is crazy for somebody who took
like two science classes but yeah
I'm glad for that at least
like how much can a nigga disrespect
you how many times
can a nigga play in your face
publicly before you finally say okay that's enough
like and you know what he said
I'm just
sorry
he said
he's speaking to Aiden Ross
who is like
he's like
the
anti-Kaisenet
he's like white Kaisenet
mmm
I mean
I saw the video but I didn't know
his face I mean I don't know his name
so Aiden Ross okay
Donald Trump
um
you know what was that
Andrew Tate
flying out to go hang out
oh yuck
oh yuck
he's a strange little disturbed white man
white man
okay
um
but he's hanging out with Young Thug
and
uh Young Thug told him
that
he doesn't have a girlfriend she dumped him
he was like
then he goes I got a girl
she
she might not have a boyfriend but
I got a girl
if he knows
yeah
we get it
when I saw you
I'm sitting up
in the mattress
like fucking Michael Myers
and I'm getting on the phone
and I'm calling people
how many feet can I get
how many feet away
will they allow
because no
no
no
if I don't have a boyfriend
and you were supposed to be my boyfriend
then you don't have a girlfriend
accept it
accept it
when you add two with two
it's gonna equal four
there isn't like
every time
a number
no
it's just the one
it's just the one
it's just gonna be four
so
you know
I don't really know what the fuck you're talking about
but
I believe
that you are also very disturbed
and also probably traumatized
and that is something that again
I have to stress to you
and niggas like you
uh
to seek help
with therapy
yep
through intentionality
through intentionality
intense therapy
did they have therapists
prolonged therapy
because I listened to the very first song
on your new album
and got to the end
where you dropped the hard R
about
15 times
16 times
yikes
I'm gonna let you know
I wasn't offended by it
I actually laughed
uproariously
like I'm talking about like
I
I
I screamed
laughing
at you
calling all your ops nigger
or whatever the fuck that song was
um
but mostly because
uh
I was
uh
uh shocked and i guess entertained by spiral had said because what are you talking about and why
are you on the cover of this album with white skin and eyes yeah i hate it like i was like
vibes cartel dropped a new record why didn't i hear about sammy sosa is this i was so confused
i said i actually cannot press play on this this nigga with this ashy skin and these colored
contacts like why why did that happen why did you lighten your skin for this because you're a
nigger and he's not but so then wouldn't oh oh oh oh got it oh
nigger all right i'm sure there was supposed to be some deeper meaning here that i'm simply not
gonna even try to find because i don't care enough no the fuck there wasn't let's just do
whatever the cockamamie ass shit her behind that morning
you
and everybody's like all right bet because the money comes in the girl the thing is yeah
when the money comes in and especially if it's a lot of it the girls don't ask questions the
girls don't say okay that's cute let's do something new oh let's tune up oh let's adjust
that's how you get why did i get married again have you heard that she scoops taraji
up out of her good bed out of her california cave and she said why don't you come help revitalize
i saw some photos and videos of them on set and of course they're already on set
crystal i hate it i hate it okay okay let me stop before somebody call the police okay listen
yes but i think at least our queen jenna jackson said leave me out of it leave me out of it tyler i
cannot do it again i'm hanging out with maxwell or washington i don't really give a fuck about that
please please please after you ran that nigga over after you had jonte jump out of a cake
and then you ran the nigga over and i looked out in horror and that became a meme i'm good
like i think my story's finished i don't even know wait i think he's gonna be in it
i don't and you know what really really he's in it he's in the other ones yeah i forget
and playing a straight man we're playing straight right which is so weird
i'm gonna eat this fucking mic you don't even give straight you've never
ever given you've never you you try your hardest and it never gives heterosexual
wants to dive in some pussy it has never once done that so i'm i'm maybe i'm just wishful
thinking that jenna jackson isn't in it but i don't see her in the
cast here on google so but i did see jill scott tasha smith um yeah uh and maybe it was taraji too
in this video and i said oh god so y'all really already y'all are already on set y'all are making
tyler's next piece of shit what swirls my nips is the fact that why did i get married the first one
is i say this all the time is like the one movie of like tyler perry
movie that i enjoyed like oh i could stomach it when i liked all the way through
i i found it enjoyable it was like it's just like the what the sequel is insane and i i can't i like
the family that prays with kathy bates i didn't i hear people say that one is one of the good ones
all the time and i did i liked it yeah well i liked it when it came out in 2008
i don't know if 2025 we would enjoy it right point too that is an excellent point i liked it before i
went to therapy so god only knows yeah i actually will just let that sentiment be it i'm not going
to even investigate any first i'm gonna let people have that matter of fact i can't think of the last
time i watched why did i get married i'll probably go back and watch that and be like on second
thought so why did she drive up that mountain why but it's trifling
ass nigga but yeah the girls are on set they are they're it'll probably be out by christmas you
know tyler don't waste too much money on uh making sure things are good so
yay i do love seeing black people get paid though and i know that's why they keep doing it
because tyler pays them what they're worth that's why they keep showing up i can't fault them for
that i will never take that away from you at all right if i say one good thing about tyler perry
that he pays black actors and actresses what they deserve that might be the only good thing i can
say about that nigga but i'm gonna say that every time i might say they deserve a little bit more
for being in these particular pictures but either way they're getting what they deserve versus what
they're right in any other place in the industry exactly exactly speaking of less but not least i
think i saw a quote from uh marab brock akil did you say less but not least because that is too funny
i may have by accident
i think i did oh god i love that i'm gonna steal that
okay mara brock akil is um interested in a girlfriend's film according to deadline
um without reading actually i'll read the quote but essentially she's like
of course i'm down to do it but not until they give the girls what they're worth
an iconic gem it's a historic beloved piece of tv and i'm not gonna do no rinky dink ass
whatever the fuck thing this should get a big triumphant piece if that's what we're gonna do
if not i don't know i'm interested i kind of just spoke for her i'll say what she said
okay um basically to say i would be very that's a long preamble to say i would be very open to
story in a film i think that would be very fun that would be my dream but it needs to it needs
the right resources and support and the right distribution it needs the right package to be
treated as the gem that it is because it has been that little engine that could and i want people to
see the majesty the greatness of it and how it really is the conversation still uh for today
around the world so basically like yeah of course we could do it but let's do it like let's really
do it and make it
i mean yeah and i want it too like i i was fully tapped into girlfriends and then i went back and
re-watched it once it was on streaming and yes you know there is a a stunning lack of growth
in most of the characters but they were kind of getting to that place towards the end and i would
love to see like where the girls are now and you know have a proper ending to the story i would
love that but i agree the budget has to be right and y'all have to
not play with us because it's black which is what y'all did the last time played with it
and just really didn't care about bringing it back after the writer strike talking about it
was going to be too expensive and blah blah y'all just didn't value the show the way we all did so
i would i i fully agree girl like let's have the budget where it's supposed to be and it should
have a movie remember when they had the city movie and then a sequel where the bitches went
to right there's
been like three of them there's been i think there's been three sex in the city movies
and then they have and just like that which also just got canceled but they
y'all will not let sex in the city go so no honestly the people who kept that thing going
were sex in the city diehards yes and they were like it's trash but i just like seeing my girls
so like why we give us a movie a good movie we do we deserve a good ass movie and uh uh
a button on this show because that writer strike really fucked us over it did i mean i want the
same thing for half and half i was gonna say it's crazy how many black sitcoms have that story of
being like yeah well who knows what happened at the end to these characters that we loved for six
years hilarious half and half was so the mothers alone i so yes they were they really stole the
show they stole the show god damn the the shots they took at each other yeah it was so good yeah
yeah oh it was older petty black ladies just sniping each other down i loved that dynamic
in a sitcom uh phyllis and big dd yeah yeah that's what was telma hopkins and valerie pettiford
that when i tell you they told that show up that would be another one yes where i would just love to
to see where they ended up yeah we'll see because the gag is they'll probably i they'll probably do
a reboot with some younger girls that they don't promote oh see don't do that and have it be like
a one-off uh season mara brockkill not included wasn't asked
we probably can't do it because she's creator i don't even know like how
the rights for works but i would would not be surprised if they just rebooted girlfriends and
didn't like you said give a fuck enough about the stories yeah to make something like long lasting
and whether we enjoyed it or not or were willing to stick in or not be like well that didn't work
right out the window after they didn't promote it didn't give a fuck about it didn't believe in it
right and they let white stuff flop and they do another one anyway all the time please preach so
how come we can't have a season or so that doesn't perform to expectations and still be allowed to
continue please preach that sex in the city movie where they went to fucking abu dhabi or whatever
that was so bad i don't really remember i loved the first one and i didn't watch i did too i went
with my i loved the first one and i loved that's why i watched the second one and i said
wow
you bitches really lost me yeah i was like okay we're just you know circling in a drain here huh
horrible yeah what else we can get out the public correct correct well you know what girlies i'm
gonna wrap it up there that has been a nice full package of hot tops we're gonna take a break and
we're gonna come back with your letters
okay
folks we're back it's time for listener letters yes it is send your questions to ask the read at
gmail.com we may read them aloud on the show we have an update this week from carla if you remember
carla last week wrote in about her mother moving that felon into the house and then fighting her
17 year old sister because the sister said hey how come you take care of this nigga but you don't
take your kids grandma to the dentist right and so carla wrote back and said firstly thank you so
i've been experiencing waves of sadness and depression but i know i'll be okay
no my mother is not kiki wyatt but they are both indeed bird brain gen x dummies
and no the felon does i mean she's correct and then she put no offense like girl please
to anyone okay sure um but valid okay and no the felon does not have a job my mother still hasn't
spoken to me as of today she took me to the hospital and i'm like oh my god i'm so sorry
my sister that she'll talk to me again when she quote calms down and won't overreact
honestly i don't care to talk anymore i'm her daughter and she has decided to ignore me for
almost two weeks because she can't properly process her emotions which is pitiful since
then things have not improved the felon and my mom argued about him calling my 10 year old sister
the r slur for mentally disabled people um and now he is refusing to drop her off at school
my mom works in early shifts so she's usually gone before it's time for my sisters to go to school
so our mother has since recruited my unreliable grandmother to take them to school because she's
too immature to reach out to me and talk things out i'm the one who used to take them to school
before all this happened this man has also said multiple things to my sister like he told my
17 year old sister to give me some sugar and chased her around the house playfully putting
her in a chokehold he told my 10 year old sister that she looks 14 instead of 10 and he has called
her the r word multiple times even after my mother and sisters told him they're uncomfortable
he's called them disrespectful on multiple occasions and has even questioned my mother's
parenting my mom said she's going to take my 17 year old sister to the doctor so she can be a good
mother but no word yet on the dentist for either one of them as far as i know dhs hasn't come to
visit yet but they are supposed to be coming soon meanwhile she's still misdirecting her anger
towards my sisters instead of that man and going around telling the family and her friends that my
sister pushed her first so that's why she punched her i know my sister very well and i know that that
is not something she would do she loves our mother despite how terribly she treats them right
it's ridiculous and i don't feel bad anymore i hope she gets what's coming to her my sisters
have me at the end of the day and i'll make sure they're taken care of no matter what thanks again
carla work exactly carla i'm exactly exactly baby you you said it all i'm just sorry that this is
your experience with your mother because what a fucking wreck but uh you sound like you have your
head on straight so good luck to you and your sisters and hopefully the felon does something
to get him put back in prison soon you know it's pretty easy for them to go back to jail so
i hope that you have in an outlet for um releasing steam and exhaling and relaxing
and things like that too because um it is a huge task to be
parenting your siblings because of anything but you're parenting your siblings because
their parent is a bird and a mess
correct that's a lot for everybody so while it does sound like you have your head on straight
and i'm sure you probably do have the strength to protect and be there for the 17
and 10 year old as best as you can i hope in the midst of that you're finding whether it is
a sip and paint or a beach to walk over or a patty to cake bitch a boxing class literally yeah yes
something where you can really punch the shit out of something else and get that anger out
burn some calories get some endorphins at the same time why yeah hell yes yeah just a good kickboxing
that is a good suggestion um anything to just kind of you know because that's a lot that's a
lot and it sounds like you're prepared for it but it still sucks yeah it does and you have to be able
to get that out to you but i also want an update for for what happens when dhs can at all if we can
i mean you see how long it takes never mind i'm gonna start a girl another rant but anyway
children being real okay anyway anyway girl and it's like they won't see it until it's
until it's right in
like oh okay all right all right all right if you gotta take the lick to be the girl
being like hey hey something wicked this way comes
how does a man disrespect your 10 year old child and you still let him stay in the house which i'm
confused like your mother is queen bird but um you knew that so he'd stay under the house
i mean and who's gonna come looking for you
it don't sound like nobody but all right i don't know
best of luck baby i'm so glad i'm gay and a recluse bitch
prison and jail jail in prison correct correct the fuck you mean give me some 17 year old sugar

that's what you're getting right that's exactly and you can get it right now
right now let's go outside so we don't mess up my living room yeah i got something sweet for you
bitch and that's the end of your life what the fuck are you talking about telling a 10 year old
you look 14 and why would you want me to be older you nasty man okay how do you even know what i'm
like pissed off i don't think i could look at a kid and be like oh you look 14 i can barely like
like i probably like maybe you look older than this age but yes it's
just like why are you thinking that why do you feel confident in this assumption
why are you saying it out loud what does it matter why is he in the house
in all seriousness your mama needs her own therapy but she don't sound like the type to ever go
so those people you got to leave them exactly where they are right because they will just
continue to hurt you and drag you down with them if you try to save them so but she also called
i'm assuming that lady's
mama her unreliable grandma yeah the grandmother right well i mean the grandmother's auntie is the
one who said well y'all just jealous because your mama is finally happy like so the bird is
biological right you breaking the bird cycle you breaking the cycle yeah all right you are a fool
um good luck to you and your sisters carla let's see here our first speaking of girlfriends
our first letter this week
comes from lynn who says hey y'all i'm a 33 year old black biracial woman
my siblings and i were raised by our grandmother lynn was just like bitch you got nine degrees
what are you doing are you bumming off of everybody but so i just i'm pretty sure i only
called this person lynn because they're biracial i don't think they have any other similarities to
her but um okay my siblings and i were raised by our grandmother who i thought was my mom until i
was 11 it turns out that someone i was raised with was a biracial woman and she was a biracial woman
i thought was my aunt was actually my mom and she ain't shit and nobody knew who me and my twin
sister's dad was john was also biracial oh that's right wait was she on the show
i feel like her dad was right on the show i obviously know tracy is in real life but was
she biracial on the show i feel like her dad on the show was white i'll google it keep reading
okay around the age of 26 i decided to do ancestry.com and i matched with a white girl
who turned out to be my little sister
it turns out i have two white sisters who are two and four years younger than i am
and it turns out our father
was his shit either. The first and only time I met him was at one of my little sister's weddings.
I had been asked to be a bridesmaid and help plan the bachelorette. It was overwhelming and it felt
like a lot after not knowing her for very long, but I did it anyway. Over the years, we've celebrated
other milestones, including my own wedding, baby showers, etc. This summer, our father died in a
tragic accident, and though I had no fantasies that this man would change or accept me, I still
grieved the loss. It surprised me by how much pain there was there. I got updates here and there
from one sister, and then a few weeks later, I saw a joint post that the two of them made with his
obituary. The obituary explicitly mentions his two daughters, when in fact this man had four, my twin
and I being the oldest, and I was deeply hurt by this. I confronted them and they put the blame on
me by saying that I should have asked to be included, while at the same time saying that
it wouldn't have changed their minds.
They had no apology and no regret in their decision to not include me and my twin.
They said some extended family members don't know about us, and it would have brought up a lot of
questions. Personally, I don't think we can come back from this incident. I told them we can't just
be sisters sometimes, and that this decision to exclude me has caused a significant rupture in
our relationship. Do y'all think I'm being too harsh? They can't redo the obituary, and of course,
I can't pretend that this didn't happen. I thought at the very least they would have asked me if I
wanted to be included.
In addition to that, I live across the country, I'm pregnant, and they chose a date that I am
unavailable to travel for his memorial service. Over the years, and especially now, I've tried
to be respectful that their relationship with our father is different than mine, but still they've
never told me one good thing about this man, and his obituary feels over the top for somebody that
they didn't even have a relationship with. Thanks for your help, would love any advice, Lynn.
Isn't it so interesting that a lot of times,
um, children of these terrible niggas like this, like the younger ones who didn't get the terrible
one, still didn't get a great person, but they're still like, oh my god, like, what are you picking
on this old man for? He's her dad, and loves her so much. It's like, nigga, if you don't shut y'all
heads up, like, it's weird. But this is also like, I'm like,
do you hate me? Do you, what are you, what are you going through? Because this is giving
unresolved, unspoken energy and animosity. I don't know if this is natural that was born into you
based on some experiences, uh, or some stuff we haven't, uh, put to bed or whatever, or if this
is stuff that was, uh, like an inception. This was implanted in you.
If you just have built a certain idea of who I am, or how I move or behave or what I think based on
our father, or our relationship with our father. Um, either way, though, I just think it's,
two of my least favorite things in a confrontation is when, A, you're doing something that
is undoubtedly inconsiderate, and so inconsiderate, it almost feels intentional if it's not.
And then on the same time, oh yeah, this was.
And then at the same time, no accountability, no, like, validation, recognition, apology, nothing.
Right, right.
What the fuck do you mean you should have asked, and even if you did, it wouldn't have changed my,
my.
So then I shouldn't have asked, bitch. What the fuck do you mean?
What is, what am I supposed to do with, what am I supposed to do with that statement?
Yeah. You're, this is really trifling. My first thought was, well, maybe white people don't treat
obituaries the way black people do. I don't know if black people, I don't, I mean, I don't, I really
don't know.
I, I really don't. So maybe somebody white or biracial can tell us, but, you know, black people
take that obituary and who all is named it and all that very seriously. And I don't know that
white culture is the same, but the fact that they, when they said, well, even if you had brought it
up, that wouldn't have changed my, my, our minds. That was the signal to me that these bitches had
every intention of disrespecting you and your twin because y'all are the black ones. And this whole,
well, we have extended family that don't know about y'all that would have brought up questions.
Okay. And so let's,
let's answer them because this man has four kids, four daughters, not two. And why are we only
claiming the white ones? And it's not like you just met these girls six months ago. It's been
seven years of you being in, you was a bridesmaid in one wedding. They done came to your wedding
and baby showers and all that. Like, bitch, I thought I was building a relationship with my
sisters. Come to find out that when it came down to it, y'all was just so happy to erase me and
pretend like I don't exist. Me and my twin. I fully, I don't think you overreacting at all.
I, I would also feel like I don't see how we can come back from this. Cause how is it that we can,
you know, FaceTime or whatever and see each other on a semi-regular basis or whatever. But then when
it come down to it for something like this, where it's like officially claiming me, which is not
even the obituary is not even like a legal record or nothing, but, but this man died. We're publishing
the story of his life. We're talking about the, how many children he left behind is one of the main
things that goes into a person's life. And it's like, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't
things that goes in a person's obituary how you just gonna leave me out of that it's a I would
also be hurt yeah it's like as well like it's something that people hold on to in in memory
and of this person in their life and legacy like I don't give a fuck that there are other members
in the family who didn't know now they do what the fuck is what difference is that gonna make
for him the nigga did like you act like this is going to somehow be a stressor for him now you
know he had other children like we've known for years and years and years and years and years you
have some questions we can set a time and date maybe we could do it you know later when when
we're eating our casserole but there's no reason that you should be keeping these other two women
out of their father's obituary because of that like there's just there isn't any any reason
you
you have to have an issue here this isn't as as deep as or as shallow rather than this other
bullshit that she's talking about and then saying it in this way just sounds like putting it in
in your lap like right you should have said that you wanted to be in a thing then I didn't even
realize it was going to be a big deal but I wouldn't have put you in it anyway because
people don't know about this that and this okay so it is a big deal obviously so the
obituary who's on it right right
exactly okay so it does matter you can't invalidate how I'm feeling and then also
be like well you've worked really hard on these obituaries and you know we we got the
the foil on the front holographic right really right really like five extra dollars each and so
like no it really do it really do be like that with obituaries it really do but I cut you yeah
this is really really trashing oh there they are there there there's my white family okay well
have a good evening uh I'm gonna sit over here with Tia or Tamara and um you know we're going to
just be all we got because I don't know that I how I would be able to come back from that either
I would be so yeah hurt and I would be so hurt and I would be so hurt and I would be so hurt
and I would also like I wouldn't I don't know how I would be able to not feel like you don't
secretly have an issue with me yep yep absolutely I mean and it seems like it's not even so much of
a secret no more like right well yeah it was fun having a half black sister when nobody else had
to know about it but that's pretty fucked up and then choosing the memorial service on a day you
can't be there it's like they really don't want nobody to know about you they really don't want
nobody to know about you
like they're ashamed somehow like for whatever reason and you know it could be that this family
is stone cold racist as fuck oh yeah that's very very big I mean they're white in America so that
right so it's probably true but still nobody I don't think anybody says well let me ask to be
included in your obituary I'm your fucking kid like I don't I'm not asking it is right and
if anything you know probably ask if you don't want to be here
before if anything like I know you didn't really know him do you want us to list you or what like
asking would be the more appropriate thing instead of deliberate they knew when they was writing it
that they was leaving you out right this has happened in my family not with a white person
but my cousin did ancestry and then somebody popped up on ancestry.com who was like a 50%
genetic match or something and it was like who the fuck is this and turned out to be a white person
turns out we had this cousin we didn't know nothing about and this was like a few years
ago and so now this nigga is just in the family what up tank and I can't imagine that my uncle
dies
one day and his kids leave tank out of the obituary i just can't even wrap my mind around
that like he is part of the family now we know about him he comes to family shit like well see
that's another thing we're not ashamed simply because there was a kid that we didn't know
nothing about it's more like damn it's a goddamn shame we didn't know nothing about you for the
past you know almost 50 years because you missed out on a bunch of fun shit like we with this is a
fun family i hate that you wasn't around for that but we gonna make up for lost time however we can
so i just not every long lost gets that treatment or that energy yeah yeah so i see so i see but i
mean the least you could do is on the motherfucking obituary for right right like survived by all
right all of the kids it's giving me you know what i don't want to be there maybe because
who is showing up with their ice uniform they're like so one of you bitches we for real for real
is coming there with a red hat on and uh and i was just about to say ice you know they come in
and maga with them trump quarters or whatever the fuck you know they doing it like i might
want to be here if i were you i would be mourning my father and my sisters because
it ain't no more relationship as far as i'm concerned yeah that's it just as dead as him
i'm sorry i mean i know you didn't really fuck with him but still you know it hurts
and all that but these bitches look at how they'll do you as soon as it gets a little
inconvenient like bitch bitch bitch and and and inconvenient to them because what's the
inconvenience you have to tell this oh yeah he has some other kids oh yeah they're they have
brown oh he didn't tell y'all i would have been like wow we've known her about her for seven years
he never once mentioned to y'all that he had these two black daughters yeah that's crazy
anyway yeah blanket
jello jello salad anymore
oh i'm sorry lynn but but good luck to you our next letter comes from greta who says hey y'all
sunberg shout out to her bad bitch um i'm in my 30s and at this big age i'm realizing that figuring
out which friendships to keep and which to let go of is way harder than anybody warns you about
i have this friend who comes from an obscenely wealthy family we've been friends for years and
back in our 20s her money didn't matter we were just two girls going out laughing and living our
best chaotic lives but now that we're in our settling down era the differences in our lives
feels impossible to ignore and they've become really triggering i grew up in a third world
country my dad struggled with substance abuse my mom was negligent and we were broke as hell
i moved to the u.s at 19 worked my way through college and every miserable job imaginable
excuse me and somehow managed to build a stable life i make six figures now and work for a fortune
50 company but that climb was brutal meanwhile my friend has never had a job and has never paid rent
or any other bills her parents recently bought her an eight-year-old car and she's been working
bought her an $80,000 car in cash and handed her a credit card for fun, which she swipes like it's
a magic wand. We're both planning weddings right now. Her parents are covering a lavish, magazine-worthy
celebration, while my partner and I are eloping to save money and focus on buying a home. Every time
we talk, she's telling me about some new extravagant expense her parents are covering or asking me to
tag along on another shopping trip, which I don't go on, but it's starting to get to me. I find myself
getting angry, sometimes at her, but mostly at what she represents. I see her carefree life, and it
hits that old part of me that had to grow up fast and had to figure out everything alone. It's like
my inner child starts yelling, if I had to do it the hard way, why doesn't she? Which is ugly and
irrational, but it's real. So lately, I've been avoiding her, claiming I'm too busy, making excuses,
anything to not sit in that discomfort, but I miss our friendship. I just don't know how to tell
someone who lives in a world of endless safety nets that her
normal life feels like salt in my old wound. I know this is my own emotional work to do. My therapist
is currently on sabbatical and coming back in a month, thank you, Jesus, but how do I even start
that conversation without totally wrecking our friendship? How do you explain to someone that
you love them, but being around them makes you feel like you're 10 years old again, wishing someone
had taken care of you the way their parents take care of them? Thanks for any advice, Greta.
Wow, Greta, I didn't expect this letter to go that way.
Um, but I appreciate it. It's really, um, insightful, and I think it's, uh, very common
for a lot of friend groups. Um, I guess I would ask what is, to answer the question, I would wonder
what was wrong with your wording at the end and say that. Right. Right. Because it sounds like you,
are processing your feelings, um, in a pretty balanced manner, and it sounds like you're trying
to be as honest with yourself and as fair as possible, so I don't really feel like that,
um, I feel like that could be a worthwhile, uh, and hopefully freeing conversation with your
friend, if it's a real friend. Um, however,
I don't believe that there's anything in the conversa- like, there isn't really a resolution
for the feeling that I think you can have in conversation with her. That's something that
you're gonna have to dig up out of yourself, which is more work, tougher work, but worth it,
incredibly worth it. Um, I think that a band-aid for now, um, and at least hopefully something to
kind of preserve the-
the dynamic and the environment of your friendship, is just being like,
this isn't a you thing, and I recognize this isn't a you.
Mm-hmm. Yep, exactly. Exactly.
However, I can't help that sometimes I feel triggered by certain, um, certain movements or
certain experiences within our friendship or our journey together that bring up old wounds,
or-
or reopen old wounds, um, and I just wanted to say something so there isn't, like,
I'm not just, like, holding it in and then it turns into something else or whatever. You know
what I mean? However you- I'm- now I feel like I'm putting words in your mouth, but, like-
No, I think you got it.
I think that, um, yeah, that's where I would start, and then I would also start asking myself,
okay, what is the-
best form of therapy to address this issue? What are other little graces and steps that I can take
to- to feel better? Because you're not doing anything wrong, and what you-
Right.
What you're feeling isn't wrong or your fault or your friend's fault, um, and then, like I said,
sounds like you recognize that, so I would talk to her. I would say the same thing about, you know,
feeling like you didn't receive, uh, you know, you- you- you desire the- the care and the- the- the
nurturing and the access that you weren't afforded, uh, by way of your mom. I think it could be a
really good conversation, hopefully, and then it would be a good stepping place to at least make
the friendship feel good again for you.
I agree completely. I- I 100% agree with that, and I think having this conversation is going
to be how you figure out whether this is a real friend, whether this is- is this a rich person who
is completely oblivious to everything going around them, or is this a rich person who understands
that they are extremely fortunate, especially in this current climate, to be spending hundreds of
thousands of dollars on any fucking thing, much less cars and weddings, like.
Yeah.
Uh, uh, there's- there's a real problem with wealthy people to- that they are dis-
so disconnected from the rest of us that
they really have no idea how- how much of a struggle day-to-day life can be for the average person.
And you don't even have to be lifelong wealthy, like, born into money, either.
Yeah, you can just come into a little bit of money and all of a sudden you act like you
don't know what it's like to be splitting up your paychecks and putting $20 on your phone bill this
week at 30- right, a year into it. And not even wealth, a year into making $90,000 a year and now
you act like you just don't know what it's like to struggle. Okay, bitch.
True.
Calm down, Bill Gates. So, um, I- I also am ca- uh, I'm tripping over myself, this is so
interesting, but I'm curious how much of your backstory she knows about. Like, does she know
this about, you know, what you went through as a kid? She probably knows that you immigrated at
19 and then y'all met in college, but does she know how hard your- your childhood was,
how brutal that was? Right, like, it may be that
she doesn't realize how insensitive she's being, you know, with like,
"Oh, Mommy and Daddy are getting me an Elia and blah, blah, blah. Why don't you come shopping
with me to find some Louis Vuitton pumps for the wedding?" Like,
she may not even realize how much that stings because she doesn't have any context for you going
growing up a lot of people come to the u.s for college and they came from very rich homes in
their country so maybe she's assuming the same thing i don't know but i think you'll you'll find
out what kind of friend this is once you bring it up but everything kid fury said about the way to
approach it i think yeah like i think straight up like this is not i'm not saying you're a bad
person or you're doing something wrong but i'm really triggered by such and such because of such
and such and i just wanted to bring it to your attention because that's why i haven't been as
forthcoming as i usually am because i'm really working through a lot of hard feelings in therapy
but i want to talk to you about it because you're my girl and blah blah so yeah hopefully she's like
oh my god greta bitch i was not even thinking about that of course i will keep my wealth to
myself like you know not cutting you out of her life but also not being like daddy said i can get
painted any color i want come with me to blow a bus right right yeah right um because i you know
mixed wealth friendships which i'm sure there's a better term for that but it's not that they can't
work but the rich person has to not be an asshole and the poor person has to be mindful of their
triggers which it sounds like you are yeah but it's really on the wealthier person to not flaunt
that word read the room sis yes read like girl do you understand like let's sit down and let's just
read the news like let's just start the unemployment numbers are looking like girl like people are
really struggling out here and i used to be one of those people and even though i'm comfortable now
it doesn't mean that my past has been erased and that could be that could be it your homegirl could
be like oh well she's rich too like she got a six-figure job working at the store and she's like
at this fortune 50 company your partner is probably similarly educated and making
you know a decent amount of money too so she might be like i mean yes i'm richer but you're
also rich bitch what's the problem yeah she for sure is not thinking anything of it which is so
like them you know i didn't even oh my god i didn't even think of that of course you didn't
because you don't have to worry about anything right that's why i think it's never paid rent
i've been paying rent since i was like 19 what you mean you ain't never paid rent
i'll be so fierce oh my 80 000 car in cash work i love it you know some people you know
especially the day you're not living like that the day of like 25 different housewives uh
offshoots and shit like a girlie's love being like oh yeah i'm isn't it you know i don't know
i feel like they
some motherfuckers really i think they think that they're like their friends are privileged
to be around you didn't like there's a better way to word this there's a better way to wear this
it's almost just like but we have fun to when you're with me i'm like i don't know i will wear
this i can't figure no i think not even like to them i don't think it's like malicious or
or anything but it's just like oh yeah i got this car
it's like we're gonna drive around in the car we take everyone driving it's like we have fun together
by way of this money isn't this a cool thing and like you said it's just like whoosh like right
over the head of of everything else that's going on so i wouldn't be surprised but i agree with
crystal that that would be like having this conversation and her response to it will be how
you know if it's a friendship or a thing you want to do
yes because she could easily be like well i don't see what the big deal is and that's how you know
okay bitch all right okay well i thought you were a friend but you're not listening to the
words that are coming out of my mouth i'm explicitly not blaming you and yet you're
defensive why is that um but hopefully y'all can work it out um and and yeah and and get through
this but
it's a you know all all relationships have conflict at some point and it's how you all
address it whether you all can address it and the maturity level of the people involved that
determines whether you're able to get past it so good luck babes let us know how it goes that's
going to wrap up the letters this week again if you have a question for us send it to ask
the read at gmail.com we'll be right back we are back and it is time now for the read
okay i just want to know why dream kardashian is a position to speak to y'all
live on the internet i want to know why y'all would ask this child which one of her grandmothers
she spends more time with first of all you know the answer to that secondly she's a baby like why
are you trying to incite mess
so dream kardashian was on i guess this is instagram i don't know where they were live
tiktok maybe i don't care but she's like in the bathroom cute as button her mom is like i think
braiding oh okay i thought she went live i thought she went live by herself i was about no what the
fuck oh no angela's right here doing her hair okay all right she's watching the live and i guess
doing answering questions and and shit while her mom's doing her hair and she's like i don't know
what to do with my hair and someone asked her which of her grandmothers she sees more often
she's turning around and asked her mom if she could answer the question her mom's like
yeah i don't care you can say whatever you want oh angela right
so she hates that lady and you know what yeah she does to be honest with you i'm gonna sit my
ass down i'm gonna shut my ass i'm gonna shut my ass all the way up yeah because if tokyo tony was
my mama i'll probably let my child read her ass too i really don't know i really don't know i
don't want dream to be around i wouldn't want dream to be around either one of her to be honest
right because she sued the white family and then tokyo tony is the black family so you really don't
win there's no way to win here yikes we all we got teased so she said yes that dream could answer
she said she gave dream permission to answer the question okay and dream said
i see lovey more than i see tokyo it's like i miss i mean i see chris more than i see tokyo
now she calls that lady tokyo
oh i knew she was a horrible grandmother but god damn
and then of course tokyo get online start dragging china and his child like no
it
it's
it's
it's
it's
it's
it wasn't as bad as nikki and cardi last week
okay well it was very much like oh well yeah i wouldn't have her hang around you either i'm not
even gonna read it because i just you already know i don't i don't even think about it but
she's not even who i'm tight with
why are y'all asking this girl who's what eight maybe seven
who what does her guardian
shit have the black fuck to do with you why are you and you know she sees chris jenner more than she sees tokyo i could have told you that
you just want her to say it on line for this clip
for this clip and tokyo you have failed so miserably that your child was like yeah i don't give a fuck
because and get for you know what's funny the one piece of joy that i did take away from this besides the kid being
cute
when she turned around and asked her mom could she say it at first i thought she held her hands up
like this like whispering when i went and watched it back i realized she said mom can i and did the
clocking fingers
oh that kid that turned around and of course i was like oh my god tiktok tiktok daddy tiktok right
she turned around and said so she even processed
the fact that like oh this is messy but yeah yeah she did we see each other dreams we see each other
so can i clock it right can i clock it dreamed in mississippi i mean uh angela did not miss why not
no i want to be she said yeah say whatever you want and that was i say i see lovey
more than i see tokyo i mean i see chris when i see tokyo she was like let me say her first name
y'all might not know that i call my grandma lovey and second of all let me just i guess put them on
they do whatever everybody knows that chris has those kids call her lovey everybody who watches
that show knows that right because you don't watch that show but everybody i've seen enough clips of
it to know that chris and her 30 grandchildren she has all 98 of her grandchildren calling her
lovey yes i've really loved this place in my life where that's not my business this white lady's
album that y'all are saying is horrendous
couldn't agree couldn't listen i tried it all sounded the same to me like the fourth by the
fourth track i just had to cut it off i didn't even hear
hear the one about i'm not a bad bitch and i'm not a site even get that far into it i had to
find out about that on tiktok at least she knows i'm not going to um be pressing play on that but
i just in my heart i i wanted to be like oh the person who asked her this is probably like 20
years old and just uh just a wet behind the ears young messy butch queen could be i'm like
could be somebody 50 plus this is someone who is probably punching on 40s door just like me
yeah being messy as fuck just being messy and i have to know why a real little girl
she's not a character on a tv show this is a
real child who's really related to them that's actually her grandma
and you want them to all be beefing for what for you to laugh
i mean let's just have to come out and say fuck kids let's kill them i think
because like where jesus
like um i think it's time to stop letting dream read instagram comments i think it's time to
stop for sure go live and read shit like i get it mommy but it i think it's time to chew because
she's eight she's looks like she's about to be nine next month um that's too deep in internet
business for an eight-year-old that's just too much i'm sorry i don't even see why that child
was put in the position in the first place that's what i'm saying i don't get it it's weird like even
i'm just saying i don't understand i i would hope that you would still be like
in protecting of this kid get out of her face with this mess yes yeah i hate that lady but
that ain't got nothing to do with this baby she probably hate her too but get out of her face
trying to hate both of them ladies and still right that is their grandchild and she is an
eight-year-old little girl who does not get out of her face with this mess
i need to be part of the nosy ass desperate ass internet's quest
to learn more about the fucking kardashians
also uh zach crager weapons doesn't need a follow-up it doesn't need a prequel it's perfect
it's awesome we don't need to know any more about gladys the mystery was the whole
part of it was the treasure if you want more do you want to know what happened to gladys
before weapons you just go watch rosemary's baby
that's it thank you so much for listening good luck on resident evil
god bless i'm done
okay i don't i don't get the reference there i'm guessing people are asking or
maybe demanding a sequel to this movie and no one's demanding it i don't think there's
anyone that's demanding it it's successful it made money and the studio i guess is down
and it looks like zach crager says he's down love you zach crager weapons is one of my favorite
movies of the year i said the same thing to to
ryan coogler or oh yes well sinners is yeah because we were like oh sinners too
listen um well we can also just enjoy like this film is so great and so perfect and so lovely
and such an experience and a testament to black cinematography writing directing costuming acting
dancing singing and um we can take the next step
you don't have to like because that's what things get tricky not everything is the godfather too
bitch like so you could just wrap it sinners actually would be you could line centers up
for a really fun sequel before weapons in my opinion and i would still prefer
neither of them have a sequel oh yeah yeah i could see that they're fine they're so fine
so excellent not everything needs a sequel not everybody needs an origin story sometimes the
mystery and the questions are the power and the entertainment thank you for coming amen okay yeah
all right is that it yep okay well let me let me get into kathy engelbert's astro
well because for the past two weeks
uh all of the
anybody who covers or is interested in the wmba and talks about it on social media this is all
anybody could talk about i actually think we're talking about it more than the actual finals
because nafisa collier after the links were eliminated by the mercury went into her exit
um exit interview you know they do that at the end of each season
and she was like well you know first of all congrats to the mercury what i'm about to say
is not about winning or losing please don't think i'm hating but we got the best fans in the world
the best players we've got the worst fucking leadership that bitch at the top is garbage and
she's gotta go the number one thing that the players and the coaches complain about is officiating
it is so inconsistent now that it undermines the integrity of our game y'all don't give a
fuck about the health of the players you don't care about the product we put on the floor
and every fucking year the only thing that's consistent in this bitch is the fact that kathy
cannot be accountable for her bullshit she straight up said that um
she asked kathy how she was gonna address the officiating issues in the league which to be fair
have been going on for that is true like absolutely everybody bitches about the refs and i know that's
true in every sport but people i trust who cover the wmba are like no for real it's bad it's bad
like the refs want to be part of the show the bitches want to be part of oh yeah you do when
you cover the w you talk about it all the time right so you know i don't know if it's true but
and so she said she asked kathy straight up what you're gonna do about these refs and that kathy
said well only losers complain about the refs which no bitch everybody actually everybody
complains about the refs but she featured that she also asked how how you gonna fix the fact
that we have these young stars like caitlyn clark angel reese page beckers who are driving massive
revenue for the league but they making you know like 30 in their first four years and she said
that kathy's response was caitlyn
should be grateful she makes 16 million dollars off the court because without the platform that
the wmba gives her she wouldn't make anything and said that in that same conversation kathy told her
that players should be on their knees thanking their lucky stars for the media rights deal
that she kathy got for them and that that is obviously the mentality coming from the top and
that b is speaking up now because she's earned that right to do so she's one of the top bitches
she was uh probably the front runner for mvp for most of the season
the links had an incredible season um until they got eliminated in the playoffs
and she said that because kathy because fee and uh jesus christ not sabrina what is my girl's name
brianna stewart fee and stewie started unrivaled and fee's husband is the president of it so she
was like i now know firsthand what it's like to run a league it's obviously not easy so i have
some empathy for that and unrivaled is obviously much smaller than the team but she said that she
but the point is that my husband takes the time to reach out to players when they're injured there's
a human element involved in being the commissioner of the wmba and that's what you don't have
you're lacking integrity you're lacking leadership and that's the bare fucking minimum
child so after that of course niggas was going crazy all the all the players were immediately
like yes we stand with fee absolutely get this bitch out of here blah blah like
elena deladon said i actually think kathy don't even know that i retired because elena
retired two seasons ago and still ain't heard from kathy candace parker said yeah actually when i was
injured kathy didn't reach out but adam silver the commissioner of the nba did i had my third child
didn't hear shit from kathy but uh adam silver sent a gift two different jersey retirement ceremonies
in la and chicago kathy didn't come to neither one of them but adam silver reached out like
you're not doing a good job you're not doing a good job you're not doing a good job you're not
a good job it's not just the refs where you're dropping the ball it's not just that you're not
meeting the players demands for anything you're also not even acting like a human fucking being
who cares about people bitch it's the bare minimum to reach out to players who have been injured just
to say something just to speak it's the bare minimum to reach out to league mvps when they
retire and say thank you so much for what you've done for our league and blah blah you know send
you a christmas present or what the fuck ever it's it's small shit that kathy engelberg don't do
baby tell me why kathy first released a statement that was just like oh i'm you know disheartened by
the characterizations um by nafisa and this kind of the mischaracterizations of our conversation
and um let me read the let me read the quote so she had so she put out that statement afterwards
like 30 minutes after fees a press conference and everybody was like girl this is garbage so then
game one she said i was disheartened to hear that some players feel the league and me personally do
not care about them or listen to them and if the players in the w don't feel appreciated and valued
by the league then we have
have to do better and I have to do better no one should ever doubt how deeply I feel about this
league this game and every single player who make the WNBA what it is okay well you have to show
that you can't just say that but then she also said I'm a human too I have a family I have two
kids who are devastated by these comments it's been a tough week Kathy you make millions of
dollars as the commissioner of the WNBA we are certain of that nobody gives a hot nut fuck if
you and your adult children are having a hard time seeing you get dragged and then straight
up said that she didn't say those comments about Caitlin Clark should be thankful that she's even
in the W because without it she wouldn't be making no money so now you're calling Fee a liar as well
so Fee and Kathy were supposed to have another meeting after all of this because
the WNBA uh October 31st the CBA expires and it's like either we're gonna get an extension
or are we gonna have a league next season after Kathy came out and was like yeah I didn't say all
that and you know I'm gonna have a league next season and I'm gonna have a league next season
I have a family me and my kids are also hurting because people are being so mean to me Fee was like
I'm just canceling that I'm actually just not even let's not even be bothered to sit down and
have this conversation but she said Nafisa said for which this was so cunt Fee was sitting down
with fucking Kamala Harris and did you see that clip of Kamala talking about everything that the
that these people in the White House are doing this administration is doing it's meant to stress
y'all out and make you feel like you're a fucking cunt so I'm just canceling that I'm actually just
trying to make y'all depressed and make y'all feel like y'all crazy but these motherfuckers are crazy
and the whole crowd went crazy because she said motherfuckers but she didn't lie she didn't lie
y'all are feeling discombobulated and like you living in the upside down they're the crazy ones
don't lose sight of that but so when she was so when Fee was on stage with uh former vice president
Harris um she said you know I I'm I'm not there's
nothing else for us to talk about she started her speech saying that she has all this respect for me
and the players and then she called me a liar three minutes later denying the words that I know good
and damn well came straight out of her mouth so again like I said that bitch don't have no
accountability that bitch don't have no accountability it has been so bad Adam Silver had
to step in and say it's a shame if our girls feel this way but I I believe that the relationship
between Kathy and the players can can improve you know I just got to teach her how to act like a
you know I think we can make it work here's the thing the girls most of especially the top players
in the WNBA they have options they can go overseas and make more money than they do in the W whether
that's Europe or China or I don't know if anybody's still going to Russia after what happened with
but they might not be and no I don't blame y'all I don't blame y'all but I because I wouldn't either
if I had the option but
not only can they go overseas there's unrivaled and athletes unlimited right here in the US and
unrivaled is paying these girls more than they may I don't know if AU is but unrivaled is paying
the girls more than they make in the W and it's a shorter season do you understand that the girls
have options they have options our top players can go somewhere else they play in the W because
it's the prestige of the WNBA it's like oh okay it's like it's the name but if y'all
act like they don't fucking matter you're going to lose them you're not gonna have a product if
you keep disrespecting the people who are the reason we tune in game one of the WNBA finals
had like the highest ratings of any final since like 1998 or some shit like right after the league
started the game is growing you need all the other contract negotiations and conversations about
pay equity and all this aside which of course I'm on the side of the players pay them what
the fuck they deserve do you understand that these bitches can just go somewhere else
they can just go somewhere else they don't have to play in the W I don't think they're really into
in that cup yet I think that you finna find out that's what I'm saying you finna find out
the bitches are not having it it's still giving very like oh you need us even though the recipe
shows that you're not an ingredient like it's not and the commissioner is replaceable
the top half of every roster is not yes you can bring other people
do you understand we gonna go wherever Stewie and Fee and Asia and Caitlin and Paige and Angel
and Sab and we're gonna go legitimately wherever they go literally I mean it's just like
but I do believe that what can't you know what I mean they're they're you're gonna have to pry
that money and respect out of their cold I can see I can see and if that if that's what has to
be done then so fucking right give them their fucking because somebody's making money somebody's
making it their play they have to keep up this you didn't even this idea they have to keep going
because the whole process and I believe
intent has been to to make it so that these players feel like this is the best they can get
this right like they've won they're winning their life is so much better you know what I mean like
it's even though they can swindle the fuck out of you or will right right but to your point it's like
now they're in a situation where not only are players like girl please right I know better than
that I see better than that yeah
fans are like girl please right knee knocking and shit and trembling shit like well what the
fuck lie do we tell now and the Caitlyn clan you said Caitlyn Clark need to be thankful for the
WNBA because she wouldn't be making no money otherwise bitch are you serious insane you're
out of your fucking mind you insane that you
Caitlyn fucking Clark
college's all-time leading scorer no bitch I'm sorry and I'm not a Caitlyn apologist by any stretch
and and I hate the fever fans almost all of them I think are just horrible people who
are more invested in racism than they are in basketball but I you not finna lie on Caitlyn
like that girl be fucking for real like are you stupid like what is so poppin she don't have to
go overseas or to au or to unripe
you don't have to go overseas or to unripe you don't have to go overseas or to unripe
Caitlyn can simply rest in her offseason like Asia Wilson and not play nowhere else and work on
you know strength and conditioning and skills and all this you don't have to do
shit else a whole bunch of fans just hanging upside down sleep hibernating until the bitch
come back out literally that so what are you talking about what are you talking about bitch
she was that bitch before she even sniffed the W what are you talking about I think we're at an
age where white people like just say it and run just say whatever you want and just run away
well you fucking tried it I I don't I actually don't think regardless of what happens with the
CBA once they get it figured out and we know when the W is coming back I don't see Kathy
being the commissioner because when I say all of the girls have come out in support of what Fee said
either that Caitlyn gave a kind of non-answer type of response and I think Alyssa Thomas was like
I'm in the middle of the finals girl no comment but other than that nobody's going to be able to
come out and be like nah Fee lying I don't have no problem with the refs I don't have no problem
with the but no even the children of the corn even Lexi Hall is like yeah um actually I really
appreciate it because it's some bullshit what we've been through and everybody agrees the refs
act like somebody came to see them we did not there's never been a time them bitches in the
uniform on the sideline that's who we here to see never happened that we've it's not about you girls
not once stop trying to be part of the narrative ain't nobody coming to see you Otis quite literally
it's not for you bitches maybe you're so your spouse like maybe you're you're tighten up
y'all nobody else shit out for you yeah because otherwise you're gonna have a league full of
and I'm that's anyway I'm about to start talking in circles but Kathy Engelbert needs to be fired
they had fire Kathy
fire Engelbert uh trending immediately after she said that shit about and I know shout out to Fee
I know she mentioned Caitlin Page and Angel because those three have the most insane fan
bases and those people live online they as soon as you say their names them three fan bases are
going to they go yep they gonna tap the fuck in and they gonna drag and they don't get tired so
they don't get tired
so figure it out Alexander figure it out bitch girl I don't see Kathy here next season
and that's that on that and to wrap things up Zelda Williams who is Robin Williams daughter
had to publish a statement on Instagram stories
begging y'all to stop doing AI videos of her father and sending them to her

waste of time and energy and believe me it's not what he'd want to watch the legacies of real
people be condensed down to this vaguely looks and sounds like them so that's enough just so
other people can churn out horrible tiktok slop puppeteering them is maddening you're not making
art you're making disgusting over-processed hot dogs out of the
lives of human beings out of the history of art and music and then shoving them down someone else's
throat hoping that they'll give you a little thumbs up and like it gross and for the love of
everything stop calling it the future ai is just badly recycling and regurgitating the past to be
reconsumed you are taking in the human centipede of content and from the very very end of the line
all while the folks at the front laugh and laugh consume and consume i said well go the
fuck off zelda first of all i know a lot of y'all are sick in the heart mind and spirit so you're
making ai videos of my daddy thinking that you're gonna make me cry bitch i've been famous for too
long try again but for those of you who actually do have a sliver of love and peace and understanding
in your bodies please stop making ai videos of my dad saying shit for your own fucking
entertainment what's wrong with you bitches
put the ai down not only is nobody entertained it's trash it's trash it's trash it's so bad
um it isn't the future it isn't it doesn't make anything new it doesn't it it takes what we
program it to take it knows what we program it to know it's not natural it doesn't create it's
it's designed by humans it's updated by humans it's programmed and processed
by humans so it's not the future it's some shit y'all doing like it's it's some shit y'all doing
and artificial intelligence um but i've said this i think at least twice on this podcast already
it can be used for actual productive shit it is it could be yes yeah i'm sure it is some people
do that not you niggas on tiktok yeah so it's like you you should not be the voice
for for the industry for the man like you should shut the fuck up you pestering somebody's baby

of me and my dad and tag me in that why don't you make art so don't involve yourself in art
you don't just or don't learn go practice or go learn how to do that well because ai doesn't take
patience and time and understanding like learning does go learn something i don't even like the ai
y'all make of yourselves i would love to say ai of my parents

the white ai acting lady tilly norwood oh right that girl they invented
white hollywood is doing enough so i'm good it's just yeah yeah they are they are
the bitches had an urge to say they wanted her to be the next scarlett johansson well you do realize
that a huge component to scarlett johansson's rise to fame was how incredibly sexy she is to
uh the modern american or the average um so much so that her huge involvement in the mcu which you
was a part of from damn near the very beginning of it mostly just involved her doing bad flips and
being fine um yeah can't nobody fuck tilly norwood because she doesn't exist so the the it's just
gross it but you know they fantasizing about they're probably making ai videos of themselves
fucking tilly norwood and isn't she supposed to be a child is she like 15 or something oh see i
don't know what age she is now now i don't want to talk about this anymore because what
i thought she's supposed to be an adult no no there's no way she has to at least be 18
what if they want to put her in an r-rated movie well i guess 18 you don't have to be 18 to be in
an r-rated movie uh yeah i don't know maybe i just read that somewhere i'm looking at it now but
i saw something about if you wanted to be sure that your actress was a virgin
which is like who cares if what the fuck difference does it make yeah see see i just don't want to
take it long tyler cowan the economist proclaimed tilly his favorite actress and speculated about
her virginity why all right i'm done why i never brought it up y'all are okay it's weird and it's
getting weirder but leave zelda williams the fuck out of it she got you niggas right the fuck
together ai is not creative uh go do something creative with yourself if you can't draw them

FAQs
The return of the 'Versus' event highlights a live, energetic showdown between major rap labels, emphasizing the clash of artists and the cultural significance of live performances. The focus is on the energy and reaction in the room rather than just the artists' presence.
The speaker criticizes Florida's education system for its extreme standards, such as requiring a 95 on a test to graduate, which they believe is unreasonable and contributes to widespread illiteracy. They also point to the lack of educational support and the failure of the system to serve students effectively.
The speaker is highly critical of Sean Combs' 50-month sentence, arguing it is far too light for the crimes charged, especially given his power and resources. They express outrage that he still has public speaking engagements booked before sentencing and believe the legal system failed to hold him accountable.
The speaker celebrates the return of 'Reading Rainbow' as a vital initiative to improve literacy, especially among children. They highlight its nostalgic value and believe it's a needed tool to combat declining literacy rates in education.
The speaker is worried that games like GTA VI, set in Miami, will perpetuate harmful stereotypes by depicting violence against sex workers and marginalized communities. They believe such content normalizes abusive behavior and reflects a dangerous narrative of societal degradation.
The speaker critiques the media's tendency to sensationalize allegations against public figures, especially when they involve personal or sensitive issues. They argue that such narratives often lack nuance and can damage reputations without proper context or investigation.
