The episode dives into the political and personal dynamics of celebrity culture, centering on Ed Sheeran’s controversial response to Palestine-related activism, where his passive stance—marked by vague statements like “don’t ask, don’t tell” and a lack of action—is sharply contrasted with Macklemore’s clear, consistent support. The discussion highlights the growing expectation that artists must engage with social issues, especially when their platforms amplify global conflicts. It also examines the online presence of Channing Tatum through a burner account that comments on celebrity posts, sparking debate about authenticity, hypocrisy, and political alignment. Personal anecdotes—such as the hosts’ cupping experience in L.A., their interactions with fans, and a deep dive into the "diva" culture around Ariana Grande—illustrate how public figures become entangled in identity politics. The conversation challenges the idea that art is apolitical, arguing that being visible in public spaces inherently carries political weight. It also touches on broader themes like vulnerability, fan loyalty, and the power of solidarity, referencing figures like Hayley Williams and Shailene Woodley. Ultimately, the episode calls for greater accountability, urging fans to question celebrity behavior and demand transparency, especially when it comes to social justice. The tone is critical yet reflective, blending humor with a sharp critique of how entertainment culture navigates moral responsibility.

I mean, would I run it back for Theo James? I'd run it for the first time right now. I'll run it a few times. Let's go. Floor it. Hi, it's Peyton. And Hunter. And this is Let Me Say This from Higher Ground. What are we getting into today? Ed Sheeran versus Macklemore. Versus my mother. Versus reality. Versus Ed Sheeran's own Ed Sheeran. Oof, girl. Yeah, sure. Versus Jethro Sheeran, his cousin. Getting into that. Then we'll be talking about Shailene Woodley. Of course. And Aaron Rodgers, who is a football player. That is news I found out yesterday. Yeah. And then also a burner account that allegedly belongs to Channing Tatum, who follows one of us on Instagram. Could follow both, but doesn't. Well, he chose the right side of history. Unlike most of you who voted in the polls about Ariana Grande. I want to see where he lands on Ariana being a diva. No, that's next going to expose him. That's his next bad opinion. He probably commented on one. You have to go to her post and look for his at down there. But more on that in a minute. And you see she's in hiding. Because she called Ariana Grande looks too common. Dresses too common is what I meant. That's not what you said? If you're an Arianator or you're a Grande, cappuccino, whatever you are, stick with me. I'm with y'all. I'm with her. I apologize formally to the community of bad bitches. But she's going to be bad bitches. We're looking tan. We're looking good. Some of us are dressed for fall. Some of us are dressed for summer. That's okay. But we're in L.A. We are in L.A. And you know how I know we're in L.A.? Why? Because I got cupping. Oh, my God. Hunter got beat up, guys. Hunter's a victim of abuse. So I did. I did. I did accidentally sign up for a cupping session. And like cupping normally, though, it's like, oh, so cute. Hunter's bruises are a color that matched this drape right here. I bravely wore my cupping marks out to a birthday party. And she switched the little hair back. I said, oh, they got you. They got my girl. They're pretty fucking purple. But that's what happens when you go to L.A. You get got. Yeah. Yeah. The wellness girls got me. Yeah. Good. We have a flight to New York in a couple hours. If you couldn't tell. We're playing in mom's closet right now. We're at the Higher Ground Studios in L.A. I'm nosy. I'm looking around. I'm opening drawers. Just kidding. She did. She tried. It was a desk. Okay. We got to talk about Ed Sheeran. We already did talk about Ed Sheeran. Unfortunately, Ed Sheeran's number one, maybe only fan, my mother. Not only. That's what I learned this week. That there are so many Ed Sheeran fans. They exist. They're kind of over him, too. It's scary when a pretty bitch like my mother, though, is like. Down bad. She loves him. Anyway, so we had to sit her down, and we had to make her renounce. Pause. You didn't sit her down. She was making coffee, and she said, what? What? What? 7 a.m. She's on vacation, and you say, Ed Sheeran's over. It's done. You got to renounce him right now. Why? What? Payton, stop your lying. Stop your lying. Literally. She said, no, no, no. He's not done. He's not done. Got her. And got him as well. But yeah, so here's the deal. Here's what happened. Just like I explained to my mother, I'm going to explain to you. Macklemore, who has been 10 toes down on Palestine for a while now. I feel like he's been pretty outspoken compared to a lot of other big artists who could be more outspoken. He is on the Ed Sheeran tour opening for him, and two concerts in, he gets basically asked to leave the tour after saying free Palestine. He makes, I will say. He makes, I will say, one of the most coherent, thoughtful, de-centering-of-himself statements on Instagram about him leaving the tour, or being asked to leave the tour, and makes a one million donation, was that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Spread across six different Palestinian organizations. And then Ed Sheeran replied. Calling this a response is, it's a work of art in a bad way. Mm-hmm. Like, it's kind of. The craziest statement I've ever seen, maybe since the Justin Timberlake, I apologize to Britney Spears, and also to Janet Jackson, specifically. BTW. Yeah. Ed Sheeran using bullet points? Grow up. But also, there's something. MLA format. There's something about the way that his statement, like, visually looked exactly like the Macklemore statement. That's like, oh, this is, like, not in a real, like, belief of yours. You're just, like, reacting to being called, you know, complicit, being said, like, being told that you are spineless. Yeah. And that's what he's reacting to. Not even, like, the political. The political issue at hand. So, Ed's response was. Part of it was, quote, I have my own personal views on this devastating conflict. Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn't mean that I don't have them, and it doesn't mean that I don't care. Nor does it mean that I don't support causes in my own personal way, diva. I am not complicit. Unfortunately, I will be using that. It's in the. It's. No, that's going right into the. Bar for bar, I'm using that. Yeah. Yeah. But. In my own personal way, though. In my own personal, private way, I do have values. But I don't share them because. Because they're private. And that's for me to know. And you to find out. But don't. Yeah. Yeah, but don't ask. What? He said, don't ask, don't tell. For real, for real. In a different way. The remix. Ed's version. But it's actually so crazy because you can see the total difference in the centering of himself. Yeah. versus Macklemore, who has consistently replied being like, this isn't about me. This is about Palestine. This is about, like, women, children. Yeah. The first slide of the Macklemore statement, sorry to cut you off, the first slide was him saying, like, first of all, there are people who are actively being killed right now in the West Bank. And that should be our focus. And I think he said later, this is, like, beyond pop stars and any of that stuff. This is really about what's happening. And I don't feel like I can't be on. Yeah. It's not aligned with my value system. And I think he had previously, I can't remember where, it might have been in Australia, where he was asked not to perform Same Love. And, like, did. He did anyway. Mm-hmm. Okay, here's what I won't do. I won't say. Some people are rewriting history being like, Macklemore actually turned me out. So that's not true. That's not true. In the sense that. That's not true. We don't need to lie now. We can be. Free Palestine. We're with Macklemore. We don't need to lie. That's what Ed Sheeran's doing. But I was like, what we gonna do is tell the truth, which is, like, all love, but the music wasn't musicking. Same Love kind of slot, though. Yeah, it did. Some of us did a modern dance to it. I can't change. Even if I try. Even if I wanted to. My love, my. No, I'm not gonna go there. She keeps me. Who was that? Lambert? Miranda Lambert? That was Miranda. Girl, I don't know who. I kind of blocked it all out. I forgot about Same Love. I was listening to Thrift Shop on YouTube, and I played Same Love after it, and I was like, oh, so that was the big song. Wait, so you were Thrift Shop, I was Same Love. No, I didn't say that. No, you know I. No hate. No, I knew the difference. I was Same Love down. You were. I went to Emerson College, of course. No, Hunter had to sit front row as I did a modern dance to Same Love by Macklemore in a flannel t-shirt. And I applauded. She said, that's my girl. Yeah. And I'm gonna sit beside her. Okay, we need to get back to the point. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, okay. But, in solidarity, all four of Ed Sheeran's tour openers dropped out, plus his backing band. Yeah. And then his cousin whacked him. And Loki, for no good reason, like, he doesn't want to get, like, a lick in. Truly, which I respect. He's like, oh, oh, we're talking about him? Girl, sit down. I've got a lot to say. Really. Jethro Sheeran, real name. Ed Sheeran's getting jumped, and he just went. Do you know what I mean? Like, it was very bad. Jethro Sheeran said, my cousin is a bad guy. And I said, period. I don't need to know anymore. And, like, it could be just because, like, maybe he didn't lend him money. Maybe they've had a falling out over some, like, something so innocuous. Just family issues. Right, yeah. But he said, and actually, pause, because I've got a few licks to get into. And I'm with him. But, yeah, that was crazy, and it's deeply upsetting, and not surprising, obviously. But I do think it's a really, it's such a great reminder, like, how powerful it can be for a celebrity, not to pedestal a celebrity, but just to say anything. It just picks up. Yeah, yeah. And, like, how much. Like, Hayley Williams at every single show, seeing her this week, guys, I'm so excited. Hayley Williams, every single show, it's fuck ICE, it's Free Palestine, every single show. What does that do? Continue to build a community and a fan base that has shared values. And for Ed Sheeran to, in his most recent show in Philly, he made a statement again. Oh, this is the teleprompter? It was just, like, same statement, different font. You know what I mean? Like, he didn't switch it up that much. Like, he still is pretty, like, driving in neutral, not really changing his tune. Okay, but I think that's what I want to talk about, the driving in neutral, because I'm looking at everything he said around all of us, and I'm like, who are you pleasing right now? Like, they're not pleasing. You're definitely not pleasing a Zionist. They're like, eh, no. Exactly. Like, the Robert Kraft of it all, all the billionaire venue owners who said that, like, they didn't want Macklemore on the show anymore, like, part of the tour. I don't. Are they, like, enthusiastic about his response? He's not doing or saying anything to please anyone. And it really, that's the weird part, but then all of the He reads from a teleprompter saying that he's deeply worried about the catastrophic and unjustifiable and disproportionate response. It's what we're seeing. The West Bank cannot be overlooked. And he's but then everything is like a victim of terrible times. It's like this is a conflict, terrible time. I'm like, what? We're going to also call it a genocide, not a conflict. Let's start there. No, whenever you say war, not genocide. I'm like, OK, so we're not we're not having the same conversation. But there was also a quote where you said, I never wanted to be an activist musician. And I think the thing that we just need to get the absolute fuck over is this idea that art is not political and that being alive is not a political act. And especially now more than ever. It is so lazy and tired to try and say that politics aren't a part of your agenda. And like these shows are a safe space. Grow up. What? But it's not a safe space. At a Ed Sheeran concert? No, I'm covering my cup at a Ed Sheeran concert. I saw those tattoos. I'm not covering my cup. I'm covering my eyes, girl. And my ears, too. What? What did Sarah Hawkins say? What did you say she would take off her glasses so she could stop seeing? But that is I don't understand how like Macklemore getting on stage and saying Free Palestine and showing images of Gaza. That to me is unity. That to me is like an expression of solidarity and of expression, love, all of these things. But the idea that, oh, that makes it unsafe for some people. And that's why we got to talk about pink. Before we go to pink, can I say one quick thing about Ed? See in two different directions? You're talking about him being cross-eyed? What's the opposite of cross-eyed when they go other ways? Criss-crossed eyes. Mad-eye moody eyes. Eyes that just go in any different direction. Let us know in the comments what that means, what that's called. No, a really quick thing about the concert, the most recent concert. So he had a stage set up. Oh, my God. He had a stage set up. It's very Judd Apatow being like, you could have killed him. You could have killed him. Where, like, I guess there's a center platform. And he didn't want to be in the center because he was saying he didn't know what the response would be. And, like, if he would get attacked or what would happen, he was scared for his life, possibly. You should have just done that because you were in Philly. Like, you could have just done that and said, I don't trust you hoes up in here. Because that's how Philly is. My dad's in Philly. I can let you know, OK? They move crazy. But you had to say it was because of the response, your lack of a statement about Palestine. The funniest part about that is, like, so these are actually your fans in attendance. Right. So you're calling them brokey? You're calling, you're saying that they, I mean, damn, you're calling them monkeys. What? What are you talking about? He didn't call them that, girl. He didn't call them that. Hold on now. He's the first Irish person I've ever heard of to not be woke. He turned and he called all them niggas. That's what it sounded like you were about to say. I said, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm not defending it. You're about to hold on a little. It's a little, it got a little crazy over there. But, but. I agree that I was like, these people come to pay to see you. They're the only people coming. They paid their money. Right. They saw all the controversy and came anyway. No one's buying an Ed Sheeran ticket to be, to bully Ed Sheeran. Yeah, but the tattoos in Philly. I can do that online for free. He probably has a lot of fans in Philly because the tattoos community, the heinous tattoo color community. Crazy. I don't like colored tattoos. I don't think tattoos should be colors. Except for red. Sometimes it's sexy on black people. I don't like it. Hunter's so anti-tattoo. Well, that's a different episode. Okay. Anyway, talk about pink. I'm not anti. Wait, what did your brother say? He's like, I want to get a tattoo. I know where I'd get it. And I know who would do it. And I know how much it would cost. But I don't know what I want. What? I said, so you actually don't know. So you've done all the research, but based on nothing. I come from a family. That's all I can say. That's the full sentence. One day we'll get Louis on mic. Yeah, we got to do a Hawaii recap episode. Bonus episode. But pink. Pink. Girl. So pink made a bunch of, reposted a bunch of memes, like about Macklemore. And then she started doubling down, getting defensive, as she's wont to do. And then she came and wrote a thousand word statement. Now, here's the thing about pink statement. It was a thousand words. And it legitimately, legitimately. And I started reading it and I said, this is actually too stupid. There was no chat GBT in this. It's too idiotic. Off the dome. Off the empty dome. She just wrote this. There's no. There's no, like, ghost writing. She simply, unfortunately, wrote that. Now, I'm going to say it's a little bit Wicca on Wicca crime. Because pink used to be a black woman. Well, that was actually the hardest L for me, to be honest. Because, you know, like, when we did Lost Cold Treats. Yeah. How'd she get her name? Samika said she had potential. Yeah. Should we tell the story? Just listen to the episode. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just listen to the episode of Lost Cold Treats. It was a funny story. Ha ha. Okay. Yeah. There's always, my friend, I was actually DMing this girl the other day from a high school. And she, we were talking about this girl that I used to scissor. And she's like, oh, no, she's married, like, pregnant, and, like, Republican now. I said, yeah, she pretended to be black for a few years. That always happens. When a white girl pretends to be black for a few years, just know something nasty is afoot in her future. And most likely on the right side of politics. Like, it is not, it's not surprising. You know, I might be going to see Hayley Williams in a week or so. I was hoping those tickets would be comped. But guess what? They're clarineted. So, I'm, like, so excited for that concert. Because I know I can trust the performer. I feel like I can't trust anybody. These concerts these days, we're taking L's off and right. You can say that. But, however, I think if you show up to a Chris Brown concert, you do incredible hair. And you also, you should know what you're getting into. Although, okay, this is what happened in Texas. Which, I am sorry, we have to talk about it just very briefly. Jasmine Crockett and State Representative Venton Jones were at the Chris Brown Usher concert to present them with legislative recognition. Now, what the hell does that mean? It means, she said on stage, Jasmine Crockett said, We are experiencing Black Joy to the highest level. Who? Black Joy to the highest level? Who's experiencing it? A man doing backflips? I can see that on the subway, on Showtime. I didn't know that's what she said. That's what she said. Not here, not in this room. Not in this world. Not in my world. Not in the world I'm in. No, we're experiencing maybe some edges laid to an unprecedented degree. I couldn't agree with that. Chris Brown fans. But I was like, this is atrocious. And she hasn't commented since. She just wanted to go to a free concert. And she made up an award to give to them or something. I think that's what happened, low-key. Girl, Usher performs all the time. You don't need to wait to local. Uh-oh. I guess, lately, he's acting local. He's moving from a local mindset. Yeah, did you see his AD house tour? No. Oh, girl, it looks kind of haunted. You love house tours. You love looking at somebody home just to see what's up. Hunter had beef with some celebrity. I can't remember who it was. And you were like, I was like, oh, wait, why don't you like her? She's like, weird house tour. And I was like, okay. Okay. Oh, Emmy Rossum's house tour. Yeah, well, her house, I saw the home tour. Her house does look like kind of a, like a Midtown Hilton. Oh, shit. I mean, no, it just looks very corporate. I believe you. Yeah, that thing, that was weird. That was stupid. A lot of people pretend to be shocked. But I feel like, didn't she have some weird, I think she changed her tune, but she had some weird comments about Palsy. And like, in general, I just, I said it on Twitter and I'll say it here too. I think a few of y'all owe Matt and Bowen an apology for calling them everything but a child of God. That was crazy. He was a little much, don't you think? I sound like I'm talking to someone directly. No, you really are. I am actually talking to one of my cousins. They were posting something crazy. I'm like, okay. You're the Jethro Sheeran of your family. I for certain am. Be the Jethro Sheeran you want to see in the world. Yeah, but enough of that. That was. Like, Jasmine. Yeah. We were in Hawaii with Peyton's family. And you know what we connected over, you, me and your mom? A little movie called The Descendants with George Clooney. I love The Descendants. It is a movie about Shailene Woodley crying in a pool because she found out her mom just died or is about to die. Yeah. It's cinema. Honestly, I think the best scene in Alexander Payne's whole career, if you ask me. And we do have to set up what my mom did say about George Clooney. My mom and Hunter, like, going off on how much I love this movie. My mom's like, it puts me to sleep every night. Like, I love, love, love, love it. She's like, but I, George Clooney. I said, good luck, George Clooney. Good luck in this serious role. Hunter was like, he had an Oscar. Fully already won an Oscar. She lives wherever in her own orbit. I love that about her. Good luck, George Clooney. So for that reason alone, The Descendants, I have been Shailene Downs. Even though she's a little cuckoo. She's a little L.A. She's, like, very L.A. kind of woo-woo. Yeah. Did she do, like, the sun shining on her situation? I tried it. Did it do a lot for you? Yeah, look at me. That's how I got pretty. But, just kidding, I got it from my mom. But what I also was kind of standing with her, I was standing with her in Secret Life of the American Teenager, though, too. Oh. And her big, her thick old hair. She put teen pregnancy on her back and said, come on, we're in this now. Let's work. And you know what? Teen pregnancy rates went down across the country. Because the show was so bad? Who knows? They're like, I don't want to deal with any of that. No, just sex negative, Gen Z. I don't know. Oh, couldn't be me. I made that up completely. However, I do love Shailene Woodley. And I love her even more. Yeah. Because guess who I hate? Aaron Rodgers. Completely. But can I actually ask a quick sentiment? Yeah. Do people not like Shailene Woodley? Like, is she, like, anti-vax or something like that? Oh, yeah. Because. She gives, um, I believe I read that she doesn't wear sunscreen or something. Like, doesn't believe. in sunscreen, something like that, which, no, 'cause if you're in law, Los Angeles. No, I just feel like that's not a reason to. Slippery slope into Maha. Could be. Every girl I know who doesn't wear sunscreen, Maha. She just kind of seems like she's always minding her business to me. But maybe there's a reason that people didn't like her. But now, shout out to her PR team. Because she's back up. Shout out to her ex-man. Yeah, yeah. Aaron Rodgers is a geriatric quarterback who. He was also beefing with his family for a long time because his brother was on The Bachelor. News to me. I just found out who he was yesterday. But also, he has a secret wife that no one has seen or heard from. He claims to have gotten married and no one has seen his wife and he hasn't posted any photos of her. I don't think she exists. Because maybe she heard him. No, because the sports girls are like, she's not real. Oh, really? A made-up wife? Yeah. I mean, I love a storyteller. He has also a made-up mind. Go ahead and tell them. Okay, this is what happened. This is what happened. Aaron Rodgers is on his teammate Cam Hayward's podcast. Not just football. And he said, quote, I dated two women who nobody gives a fuck about. What? Couldn't be me. Unless they dropped my name. You are nothing, Aaron Rodgers. Shailene Woodley truly was pregnant on ABC Family. While you were doing whatever the fuck. Catching off pigskin. Is that what it's called? Football? Yeah, sure. Yeah. He's like, yeah, we're such bad bullies. Then he said, I date Shailene. I propose. And she says, yes. She maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no. But a couple of days after that, she tells me, before we get married, I have to go fuck this guy. Let's be clear. I got to go fuck this guy. I got to go. Because it's different. No offense. You got a little seasoning on it. Sorry, I have to go fuck this guy. It's so different. It's a little different line reading there. I'm reading this and I'm like, okay, so you're the loser here. Like, you're the one. It sounds like she was very clear about her needs and wants. Sure. And now you're just kind of stuck there doing nothing. I think she did the right thing. Because she could have just old school cheat. Just done it. Yeah. Yeah. The old fashioned way. She could have been like, maybe we should be open just so she can cheat. That's the new age way, by the way. But now. But it's not even like we should be open. She's like, I have something on my agenda. Yeah. No, I'm saying she didn't do all that. Yeah. Which, like, a lot of people are doing these days. Oh. So she went. Her version. I'm going to just tell you what it is. Shailene's version. Yes. And the theory is, the fan theory is that it was Theo James. Okay. I saw that, but I'm like. I haven't seen really any evidence like that, like why they think it's him. Other than that, he's just hot and that they work together on Divergent. Well, was it the same time? Do you like when I know nothing about the relationship, but like, did they break up near Divergent? No. Insurgent or whatever? No. They were together. Because they're teens. Teenies, yeah. Oh. She and Aaron Rodgers. That's when he proposed was in 2020. Oh. Well, maybe she needed to run it back. She said, we had a good thing going. I don't know. I don't know who it is, but I know she looked a mess at the Emmys. And I want to know who was the man, Shailene. Also, she won an Emmy. That's the craziest thing. Yeah. He's saying this. And like a week later, she literally wins her first Emmy. I, and I think we talked, Paradise. Yeah. Shout out to fucking Paradise. Yeah. She was so good. And that boy from Gossip Girl who is kind of really the only one making some real money. He moves from that cast, low key. Who? The guy from Gossip Girl. The guy who played, he's kind of like the. Thomas Doherty? Yeah. Yeah. I'm liking his work. Fresh hair. I'm really liking his work. He was fantastic in Paradise. And they were really great together. And she deserved that Emmy. And her legs looked sickening. I mean, she's a tall girl. She, I mean, they look like. She's a beautiful girl. Just like toned. Like really toned. I was like, she was up in the gym just working on her fitness. I'm her witness. But yeah, so crazy of him to say that. So totally sane of her to say. Nice. I just. Yeah, to say. Oh, well, yes. To say nothing. But to say I got to go fuck this guy. She hasn't spoken out about the interview. Because everyone's saying it for her. It's like, okay, he's giving loser. And she's giving a woman who is, what? Goal oriented. Why would she stoop to his level too? Like, I don't think like she will ever respond. Or nor does she need to, obviously. Unless she's sitting on this podcast. Let me say this. Telling us who it was. Do you have a theory of your own? Of who it could be? No. Because she. I remember this one photo of her and Aaron Rodgers going to Disney together. And they had the ears on. And I was like, you know. She's on another. She's moving energetically different than I would. Here's my theory, though. My fan theory. I don't think it's someone famous. No, that's what I mean. It's real. It's someone from high school. It's someone from college. Or maybe even. No, I don't think she went to college. Because she was a teen actor. But it's like a deep. It's always a deep cut person that you run it back for. Yeah, I don't think it's someone famous. Run it. Run it. Run it for the first time right now. Let's go. Floor it. Okay. Happy Bisexual Awareness Week, by the way. Is it really? Last week, yeah. It's always that week for me. It is? No hate. You and my mom wearing bandanas. My mom tried to wear a bandana like me. And I was like, so you mean like a lesbian? And she goes, kind of. She low-key bodied me. She looked so. She was so good with it. She's pretty. But anyway, yeah. Do you have like a, who you would run it back for? Robert Pattinson. Also, I love us saying run it back. We ain't never. Yeah, me and Theo James. We used to scissor. Like, the fuck? Who do we think we are? Anyway. Bad bitches. But, okay. You have to dream it to achieve it. Robert Pattinson. Okay, that's a good one. Yeah, I guess. I mean, he's kind of always on for me, though. Yeah, it does. That's what I'm saying. I can't, I can't enter into matrimony without at least, you know, shooting my shot for the fourth time. I think I would be Mark Huberman. That podcaster? No. He was from my middle school. Oh, your teacher, yeah. Middle school. Community school. I was about to say, if you're using your. Teacher? He was my teacher. What the hell? Yeah. That's illegal. Or not anymore. I'm grown. But Mark Huberman was a boy I had a crush on who I tried to kiss on the Ferris wheel. Oh. During Santa Monica Pier. Night for the Willows. And he said, that's enough. Is that who I met? No, I haven't seen this boy in years. I hope he's well. He was a baseball player, though. But he was kind of tea. He was hot. Anyway, acting real bi. Enough of that. Let's talk about something gay. Perfect. Transition. Between all my gigs, live shows, taping this podcast, just going out and trying to figure out what's for dinner, I feel like my brain. It's running a marathon I didn't sign up for. Oh, I know. I used to try those generic stress gummies, but honestly, they either made me sleepy or they just didn't do anything. Okay, Hunter, I have to ask, how was writing and reading the foreword for Hinge's No Ordinary Love audiobook? I listened and I gagged. Oh my god, thank you so much. Before I really get into it, though, Hinge's No Ordinary Love audiobook is about five real couples who met on Hinge and all the risks they took in daring to share how they felt when they first started dating. Last year, I wrote about the couple Leah and Olaf on No Ordinary Love, and they just got married this summer. This year, Hinge asked me, back to write and narrate The Forward, and it really got me thinking a lot about what I'm looking for in dating, how open I am, and reading these stories about people being so forthright in their relationships really inspired me. The listeners know that I've known you for a very long time, but I learned something new about you in The Forward. You talked about your own fear of vulnerability, and it made me see you in a totally new way, in a good way. That's what I love about it. These aren't fairy tales. They're real stories about real couples who took a risk and it paid off. It's something for the lover girls out there. This episode is sponsored by Hinge. Listen to the five incredible love stories about five real couples who took a risk. The No Ordinary Love audiobook is free on Spotify. Okay, so that pivot might seem like it doesn't make sense, but it's about to make perfect sense, and if you know, you know. And if you question it, you should listen to more episodes of Let Me Say This, because here's the thing. Channing Tatum, allegedly, has a burner account where he. He pops off. He really had the time. He either pops off about, like, randoms on, like, Dumois or, like, random celebrity posts, including some that speak about Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles, and then defends himself. Not even defends, just compliments himself. Yeah, well, defend him because of the age gap relationship thing. He was like, I think that he's actually moving. After dating this kind of woman and this kind of woman, he's actually doing the right thing for him, and we shouldn't come for his love. interesting um so he i'm trying to find some of the posts yeah we're going to give some examples of what he has commented on okay a photo of zoe kravitz and harry styles at it looks like jfk uh airport and bidness underscore nunya right so that's a handle comments when i see these two i think back at how his former fiance called her the most intentional person he knows i wonder how contextual he was being to me intentional equals calculated he was speaking in terms of filmmaking but leaning towards her as a person in general too so why would like a random burner account have that detail okay you could say that but girl you've actually done that before too people make up they are they talking to me right now my phone buzzing this whole they always mad at me they always get something to say because you said that ariana gane wasn't a diva um then he comments uh he's giving sean mcarthur from fighting vibes on like a photo of himself comments he's so genuine no false pretenses with this guy and funny as hell too laughing emoji now okay some people think that it's him because this was the only bidness underscore nunya had only one follower which is training tatum right so that's one check and it is probably him but then we know he follows lots of random and also beautiful people some of them in the room right now not follows anyone who looks too common though um we'll get there we'll get you there but then another thing someone said on the internet well maybe it's his mom or like someone in his family what and then someone said well that's actually misogyny because men can be bitches too period and they can also be divas some of us almost got shot for that last episode too we won't be bickering about this episode until the dawn of time just for the record but i said luther vandross someone didn't know he was gay what did you say someone didn't know he was gay what did you say someone didn't know he was gay what what okay so there's some learnings but he was definitely gay hilarious um go back and listen to that episode by the way but okay just to be clear i have to get ahead of the press here just to say yeah i'm with him for the record like i'm do you think it's him though yeah really bidness underscore nunya okay but you know tan is a little ghetto as hell not even a little a lot of it when i saw she's in with my mother opening weekend and she said who's that guy he's a little bit black i said a lot of it black raise up a child in the way they should go go ahead and pull out that chair and when they take a seat take a load off okay this is the thing that makes people think that it's not him though why because he bidness underscore nunya so that they are a gemini and what does he is a taurus yeah i'm gonna change my answer in the earlier segment i would run him back for tanning damn markie rent packer bags um i um that's the only reason who's asking his sign who's asking a random burner counts astrological chart because he no because he the the bidness underscore nunya account comments and likes gemini posts taurus and gemini is getting along so i'm gonna say i'm the first my bloodline to say the bidness account likes and comments on gemini posts remember earlier i have a job this is it this is it look at your life can you believe that i worked so hard to talk about bidness underscore obama's office and say to camera bidness underscore nunya is it tanning damn burner who knows okay but i'm gonna say the other thing that makes me think it might not be him yeah do you remember the sony email hack yeah and do you remember whenever uh 22 jump street or whatever outboxed office ted 2 and he had that he wrote a whole email to amy pascal cc jonah hill and said ha ha ha f you ted because they just like out on ted yeah and the whole email text was like thousands of ha ha's all caps and that's not a man that doesn't that's not i'm gonna say dramaturgically uh linguistically because of caps not just because of the caps because of just the whole posture of his of the way that he expressed himself was different than than the bidness underscore nunya so you think of what could just be a super fan i think it's probably someone in his circle oh quite as it's because because you know how sometimes friends they want to defend you too i get them i was in the comments for fighting on your behalf and no you were fighting for my mom more than me that's okay you said you could play about pain but don't play about alicia you said hold on now we draw the line somewhere all right not too much that's a grown woman we're talking about that's a beautiful girl that's a beautiful woman yeah now hold on that's not that's not a girl that's miss taylor it's judge hunter in the comments of my edger and post okay i hope it's him i will say because i do think it's just really funny yeah and i think it's it does follow the fact that he followed so many zoe kravitz fan accounts after they started dating but that was from his from his official account no i know but i think like it is online yeah he's definitely online and here's how i know he's online and i hope this reaches him because you post it and it'll reach him well i i he replied to my story when when i made my girlfriend at the time edit a photo of me as zoe kravitz on the back of his bike and i was like us my girlfriend being like i'm a lover anyway i'm gonna say she deserves reparations a few yeah just know i stand with italian exes okay no matter what they tell you so here's the thing i know he's online because he posted a photo of him and his arm was looking nice and big and bulky so i commented arm and then he followed me we go together let me tell you that arm is so slutty that's so slutty of him one thing if you want to learn how to slut it up you come to me you come to me you call on me i charge you'll find out and by hourly rate discount if you're a bipoc discount and um we'll figure it out together we'll get you got isn't that crazy isn't that crazy i love it i said well you all right with me but that okay but now i'm like tipping the scale in both directions a little bit because is he very online yes but is he also willing to stay with his chest from his official account also yes the account though did uh i think delete or like it was wiped which also makes me think well that's not no but that's that's giving circle if it were actually him he would not have because that is like hello have you ever seen long order svu it's like direct pointing directly at yourself that's giving circle that's giving real this is a real it's giving like high school best friend who doesn't know how to move in the celebrity world business underscore none it's giving what's ed sheeran's cousin's name death row sheeran death row death row records named after ed sheeran's cousin um it's giving that but like positive like i'm on your like a cousin exactly exactly that's what it's giving that's what it's giving to me so now let's look at his family tree and see who is a let's investigate oh my god i will be doing that on the flight home um i i love the kind of time that people have the liking gemini post is fucking crazy you have to look yourself in the mirror to be like so i've noticed that he is only engaging with the gemini astrology post like and then someone was like well his mom's not a gemini either so that's not again information we shouldn't know this is why children are being left behind daily and we are we are those children i'm gonna note this as my second favorite celebrity burner account and what's the first one you tell me positive attitude hunting which was ben affleck's burner positive it was like goodwill hunting i know but why men are so this is why i think it's tan tatum men are so stupid even if they're bilingual shout out to you for that ben affleck but like what the fuck him speaking spanish it's so hot jlo just dapped us up in her mind she did not she said no i didn't understand she said no comprendo but pero me gusto me gusta i don't know this might seem you saying that um let me in your mall it's me primo it's me primo it's me familia and everyone's like that was wrong i was like man i said it with my chest though roll my r's speaking of being wrong um do you have anything to say about the divas episode no anything to anything to know back or anything that you want to clarify about someone who maybe looked a donut and saturated america so let's talk about one thing one thing about this this little episode this little let me be clear actually this little podcast we got two fixed signs in the room look how she said look how i'm sitting what does that mean that i'm strict it means fixed signs means like yeah you're like more this is what it sounds like you're movable like you like your opinions but i know who i am but i know what i think find it that i know what i believe but i'm cracking it look at our body language right now what we this is our get along i was like i'm i'm actually i'm low-key you could convince me the wind blows this way the sky is purple i'd be like it's always i love group thing until group thing says ariana grande is a diva hunter told me when we were on vacation you go you like you group think about the wrong things she's like it's always like let's share a cigarette or get more drunk why isn't that let's wear our seatbelts i was like you're like you're like you're like you're You are a cop. I was like, we were on vacation in Hawaii. You are a cop. Why did I even say that? The Mai Tai's got me, girl. The Mai Tai's got me. What can I say? Whatever happened to hello? How are you? My name is. You let group think about the wrong things. What about put your seatbelt on? I was like, that's the example. But you're right. I do let group think about being bad. That is how I move. But yeah, run that Divas episode. But we might be revisiting a few. Divas Part 2 coming soon. Divas Part 2 may be coming soon, for sure. We'll see. We got a lot of nominations, too. A lot of nominations. I didn't say they were right. Worthy, but yeah. Yeah. So that's our episode. Cheers. L.A. changed us. We're hot. We're hot here.
