It's the first day of the rest of our year. - It's the first day of the rest of our year. - Yes, and of course, now the year can begin. - And of course, as always, this time of year, like we are setting off with beautiful intentions of love and kindness and generosity of spirit. - I'm cracking up, 'cause when I was in school yesterday, and I was doing my toning, and I was reading the prayer book, and I went to the English translation just to like see exactly all the sins that I'm saying, sorry for. - Do you all see us? - And it's funny 'cause I think we were saying last week on the Patreon or here how, I think there's a couple of things I want to tinker. I really hadn't been thinking that big, and like when I was reading all the things that I'm about to say before, it was literally everything. - Like what? - You want to pull it up? - Oh, you don't remember one single one that you read? - It was like, and I think the point of it, actually I want to pull it up because it was so wide-ranging and like every little tiny infraction ever. And I think the point is meant to be like, nobody is perfect. There is nobody who did not sin this year. - Right, right, of course. - And we're not striving for perfection, of course. - There's always gonna be sins, but we are trying for betterness. Because when you think of a sin, it's not just a big one. So it's not just murder and let them murder. - No, right, of course. I didn't murder or commit adultery. Therefore, I had a good year. Yeah, it's not just that. It's like, you know, I saw someone on the street who needed help and I walked right past them. Something like that. - No, not even that. Down to the most insignificant impure thought. - Well, then I'm cooked as the kids say. Impure thoughts exclusively. All my thoughts are there. - I know, like your thoughts too. That's not like a sin that you acted on. - Not only that, like I can't control my thoughts. So what does the Lord want me to do about that? - That's crazy. - That's crazy. - The point is that nobody's perfect. Let's say, sorry, let's move out. - I gotta work it. - And try to be better. - I will do my best. Certain people, I.E. Derek Huff, are making it hard for me. - I kind of ended up in this battle with Derek Huff. Whatever, like new year, new me. - And I clad. - Okay, yeah. - Forgive us, this is a different version, but here we go. Forgive us for the wrongs we have committed purposely and for those we committed under duress. - Well, if I was under duress. - Oh my God. - Okay. - Okay. - For acting without thinking, okay, fine. - For giving into desire. - Constantly. - Would you think about desire? Of course, I'm not committing a telltree, but I'm definitely engaging in the sin of gluttony, like all the time. - For sure. For being too faced. - No. - Not me. - For betraying our friends, for betraying our spouses, never. For treating our parents and mentors without respect, never. - Oh my God, we respect the hell out of mentors here. - For being stubborn. - Why are you looking at me like that? I'm not Margot. - For the words of gossip, we spoke. I know when I see that. - Oh, not me, just gossiping. - When I see Lesha and Haara in the book, I go hard on that one. - I repent to extra hard. - For not living up to our highest potential. That's a sin. - That's actually a chilling thought. Like, did I not live up to my highest potential? Definitely not. - Forgive us for denying the truth when we should have acknowledged it. - Oh, like things I'm in denial about, my cardboard nature, yeah. - Yeah. For taking situations lightly that we should have taken seriously. Like, that's just so subjective. - No, and I feel that I understand why the Lord wrote these words in the way that He did. But I feel that maybe we've taken it like a little too far. - For requiring more from others than we expect from ourselves, that's tea. I don't do that, but. - Oh, maybe I do, with Ben. - Oh, interesting. - Like, I expect a level of excellency in my home that I don't even achieve, you know? - Interesting. For not guarding our tongue classic. For looking down on others. For failing to take responsibility, for being scattered and for procrastinating. I didn't know that was a sin. I just thought it was a bad habit. - Oh, I feel actually like pretty good about the fact that I don't engage in the business of procrastination. - No, not since high school. - You're a hastenator. - Yeah, no, it's true. I want the opposite of procrastination, where you two think so quickly and so fast that you actually just do them poorly. - And also like, sometimes they're too fast. - A thousand percent. - For chasing after ambition and success. - That's bad. - Oops. - Yikes, sorry about that. - Sorry God, won't happen again. - For not making promises we didn't keep, for not giving generously to those in need. So it's a lot. - Well, like I said, new year, new us, we will do our best to not look down on others unless they need it, and to not guard our tongues. And if today's episode is boring, blame the Lord regarding our tongues. - Regarding our tongues. So yeah, let's try and keep that in mind. - Here's some good, neutral conversation, ready? I watched a lot of TV this weekend that I'd like to talk about. - Okay, I'm not ready to get into TV recap though. - It's not a recap because you didn't watch any of this. I just want to tell everyone that I watch it and just give like a brief sort of-- - Recap, brief thought, a brief thought if I may. I watch these in two of Chad Powers. - Okay, oh, that's a good thing to watch. I should have watched that. - Because it was a lot of time with my husband this weekend and it was what we could agree on. And I just want to say, it's insane. And I have only positive things to say. It was an amazing season. It's insane that we're calling six episodes a season now. I just, I watch season four of full swing and it was five episodes. - Yeah, when I was growing up, we used to do 22 episodes a season. So I'm not used to this sort of like phoning it in energy. - Slomu has five episodes. - I got the sense that the Salama was like a half of a season though, I don't know why. - I know, I feel that's what it should be. But like Miranda said, no, next season is season six. - Season six. Well, Chad Powers is excellent. Like, it's really the dumbest show, like in its concept. But it's so like, it's got heart. And this season, they had like a little bit of a danger. And I was kind of spooky. I was watching what episode at night. I said, we have to turn it off. I can't watch this right now. - Chad Powers is too spooky. - Yes, there's like this kind of crazy person on the loose and he's like really, really scary. Chad Powers loved. I also started the new season of Ted Lasso again, looking for like husband and wife. And they made this whole big deal about like ending Ted Lasso just to bring it back. And I don't know, it's not hitting the same. Even though like all of your faves are back, Roy and Kile. I don't know. - No, I don't watch Ted Lasso anymore. It like got bad. And so that was it for me. - It's just like, it's not very good. And then it was like, oh, oh. I watched more of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls trip. And I'm here to tell you, like, it's actually fantastic. It's really passive watching. Like, you don't need to binge every episode when it comes out. It's such great like background. I am cracking up like between Luann and Portia, who are definitely stealing the show. I cannot stop laughing. They're doing a really good job of like paying homage to all the different housewives. They basically go to each city in a different episode. We're in Atlanta now. Well, I'm in Atlanta now. And they have, you know, Neenie and Fager, like sort of crowd favorites coming in. They throw a party at night. And basically they invite everyone. And whoever from that city wants to come, like sure show up. Everyone's trying to have a moment, you know? - It's cringe. - And it's a cringe to watch them. And the other ladies, like the ones who have been chosen for the trip, there's just like, it's not an equal playing field, you know? It's like Lisa Barlow's definitely all the other women I can tell. She's, I don't watch Salt Lake, but she's on the out with almost all the women. And I just know what's killing them. Specifically Heather, that Lisa was the one who was chosen. - It is surprising they chose Lisa overhead there. - I think Lisa is hated amongst the group and loved amongst the fans. And that's really more so what they care about. It's just so funny. It's also just interesting how it's like, I can't stand Trees. I've never been a tree hugger. She's such a delight when she's out of Jersey. Like she's cracking me up, she's really sweet. She's like, Luanna singing like everywhere. She performed a cast party. She's making the much videos of her singing. And Trees is like so supportive. It's definitely annoying, you know? With these women non-stop traveling bus sprinter. And it's like, you're getting sick of everyone. And Luanna's singing in the whole time. Vicki can't take it. She's like, she has to stop singing. Trees is like so sweet. She's like, I love that song. She say, "Levy." - There's a mosquito in here. - Did you get it? - No. I saw it before we started. - I think definitely in the book of Paris, you're not supposed to be killing other living beings. - It didn't say that, we just read it. - You probably didn't get to that part. - And I didn't kill it. - You looked like you snatched your right up in your little hand. - I wish. And then I would open to her and let it go. Of course, of course I would. - Also to say, it's definitely worth watching. I'm cracking up. I just like cracking up. - You're looking forward to it. - Every time I sit down, I said, "You know, I'm looking forward to cracking up." Portia is carrying the entire show. She's probably one of the funniest people on TV period. Cracks me up. They're doing lots of flashbacks, like iconic moments. It's really good. Like, it's not what I thought it would be. And it's got heart. This group of women, they're all sort of bonding together 'cause they hate Vicki. She's such a wet blanket. She's like, she shouldn't have been chosen. Like, I know she's an OG of the OC, but she's too busy. She has to wait. work for Kodo, so she's like on her laptop when they're like filming scenes. She hates everyone. Like seriously hates everyone. She thinks she's too good for it. Like she's seriously pissing me off. - Okay. - But it's really good. - It's really good. - It's really good. - That's good. I'm happy for them that they did something good. - Yeah, yeah, and I know what like all comes to a culmination at Bluestone Manor. So maybe they end with New York. And I thought that's where everyone shows up. But so far they've gotten everyone, except T is that Kyle embedded to read to her Beverly Hills White Party or they like, you know, that's where Lou Ann performed. And Jury didn't come. - Oh yeah, they're still fighting. - They're still fighting. - Yeah, yeah. - But it's like, I haven't been thank reduction a while, but it just happened to have like, it just happened to have been a Kyle's house, but like it was not Kyle's party, you know. - Yeah, but no, that is true hatred there. So of course. - True hatred. - I'm not going to go to my ops house. - I know, but it's kind of a work event. It's a work event like for your boss. - Well, if she was obligated to go, she would go. - No, it's not an obligation, but I would want to go. Like as just to keep myself like relevant in the house, why is Teddy Melon campus there, of course? - Of course. - Of course. - Seriously, Kraken. - So thank you for that TV recap after all. - Yeah, just like that's what Turni Watch this weekend. - I only was able to watch full swing. It was only five episodes. That was like my night of Yom Kippur, like the night where I couldn't eat after dinner. And then it was over and the whole season was like about the lead up to the Ryder Cup and like just knowing how the Ryder Cup went. It was just sad to watch like Keegan Bradley. The Brits, it's Europe. - Whatever. - Keegan Bradley, the coach, like the captain, like talking about how he's gonna be the team and how it's mean so much to him. And it was just like such a flop. The Ryder Cup was a true flop for like our whole country, really like the players, the fans, perform poorly, like. - Oh, I seriously feel awkward, like. - It was, I mean, the last day was like better because we were down so much. And like we really came almost all the way back. - It doesn't matter, nobody remembers that. They just remember that we lost. - Yeah, I do think it's like setting up and we're always like the, the favored, you know, 'cause like we have like Scotty Shepler and like the number one golfers in the world. They do have Rory. - Yeah, I watched a lot of Rory this weekend. - You did. - Because there was some champ, the, - I'll never remember him. - Do you still hate him? - You're like, yeah, okay. 'Cause the thing is, it's like times, you know, change, people change, but like he still did that thing with his wife, you know. - Yeah, and it's so crazy that the other woman is like the journalist from Full Swing. Like who's like talking about it. - You're right. - And they don't really address it. Not that I expect that they would. And this was also the season where Rory won the Masters. And that's when I started paying attention to golf. So it really came full circle for me, but I also kind of knew everything. - You mean it helped come full swing for you? - It came full swing. - Yes, it should be recap podcast. - They focused on a lot of like new players because they were trying to show why certain people were picked for the Ryder Cup, which was, okay, I understand. It was very Ryder Cup focus, which was just tragic. - Just like it's a very like inner circle in the no type of show now that like you know about, like this sounds like very niche. - No, but it's like the sport of golf. Like yes, I am now aware of what's going on in golf because, well, I'm a year of delayed. - Because of Full Swing. - You know, like top players in the world. - Right, well, I watched him this weekend. Who won? Like the build more, is that right? - Build more, probably. They just call everything anything. - And they have so many tournaments. Like obviously we know the Masters, but like there's like a hundred a year. - No, there's a hundred a year. And then it's like the Traveller's Cup, the FedEx. And part of it is like the FedEx. - Okay, but the Traveller's Cup, I've heard of. Like that's a big one. - And at the Traveller's Championship, you win the FedEx Cup. - It makes sense. - Make it make sense. - It's like everything has like a name. And then it also changes venues a lot. So it's like at the Oakmont, we have the US Open. - But they always do the Masters at Augusta. And then there's one at Pebble Beach, right? - That's why the Masters is like in a league of its own. - That's why we know about it. - Yeah. And that's one of the majors, US Open, I'm not doing this 'cause I know too. - Okay. - How was your fast? - It was good, you know, as good as it could be 'cause like we did it, check. And that's all that matters, like getting through it. But we got so sick, like it's, you know Ben, like he can't just break fast normally. Like he had so many vehicles and so many donuts. Margot was in charge, Margot brought a delicious spread. But she brought donuts and Ben was just like, he had this donut in his hand, a Boston cream. And I said, that's gonna be the one. That's gonna be the one that you're gonna be like, head in the toilet bowl saying I wish I didn't have that donut. So he put it down, but then he picked up like, you know, nerds coming clusters. We went to bed at like nine o'clock. The second everyone laughed, I was like, I literally was the worst host. I was like, respectfully, you all need to leave. - Yeah. - How? - We're not here for like a long time. - Yeah. - My fast was actually decent, which was surprising. I was like dreading it. I always get a horrible headache. - The headache is a worse part. - And then like the headache never goes away, like even once you eat. But I didn't get the signature headache. So like I was mostly okay. It was actually really beautiful day 'cause I wasn't on my phone, which I don't do every weekend like you. Let me tell you, even when I broke my fast and everyone went home, I still wouldn't turn my phone on. Like a thousand percent. - Herced phone. I definitely want to try and do it more often. It's just hard 'cause it's not like I'm, like there's things going on on my phone that I have to like be aware of. - Jackie, that's what you think. - But if I delegate those couple things, there's a couple things like to Zach. - No, no, but like Zach can handle them. I'll be like just, if it's Saturday calls Zach. - No, it's like inconceivable that you could turn off your phone, but then you do it and you're like, you know what, you can make it work. Like you put systems in place. I agree. The fastest ended at 730. I probably didn't get on my phone until about nine o'clock like after everyone left. I was just like, not in the mood. I didn't even miss it at all. - I didn't miss it at all. And like, and I've been feeling like I'm on my phone too much. Like some nights I don't even watch TV or read. I just like scroll on reels. And I'm, it's not like I'm watching terrible content. Like I'm really watching like cooking videos, home making videos, decorating videos. - Doesn't matter, like. - But it's just like, I have nothing to show for it. - And every time you turn your phone up, when I turn my phone off, I'm like, oh my God, somebody craze is definitely happening. Like, and then you turn your phone on and nothing happens. - It also helps at the people that I feel like I need to be like in touch with at all times. - We're off there. - We're off there. - No, we're off their phone yesterday. - Well, yes. - Because it's like our family chat is what blows up 100 times a day. But when we're all off of our phones, then nothing's happening. - I always, and every time I see someone, like on Saturday, I'm like, what's going on? They're like, nothing. And then yesterday, my sister and I was like, did you see Cindy Crawford, her son died? I was like, what? - Yeah. - I was like the first time anything ever actually happened. And I didn't hear about it until much, much later. - Yeah, when I saw it, I saw like an article like talking about it, not even announcing it. So I'm like, wait, what? - Rewind, right, right. - Yeah, I had the same reaction. It was so sad. We'll talk about it. - That's what it's like jarring to be off your phone. You really are disconnected, but most of the time when you're off your phone, nothing happens. - Yeah. No, so that was a real delight. I mean, you're actually in shual till pretty late. So we got 'em like two 30 and it was like, okay. Just a couple hours, then Dan came over a little early. That helped. We were chit chatting. But then I had a coffee before I broke my fast so that I could like, stave off a headache. So it took me a while to fall asleep at night. But other than that, other than that, it was as pretty, it was pretty good. - One of the hardest parts was the breath. And I'm talking about like everyone around me. Like, I don't know what it was, but like, I shual. Like, I could not stop smelling everyone's breath. And then Ben was saying that there was like a fire breathing dragon in his area where he was sitting 'cause like, seriously, you could not stop smelling the breath. And of course, if you can't help it, I can't be mad at people. But it's like, as if I don't feel poor enough, now I have to smell your breath. - The way I feel, it's like, like Jerry Kemsley, if I can smell your breath, you're too close. - You're too close. - So I didn't smell anyone's breath. - But we got limited, I mean, we sat down at chool and I literally said to Margot, I'm like, do you have to sit on my fucking lap? Like, move over. And she was like, the chair is like here. I'm like, just move over. Like, oh my God, Olivia and I sat. We had like all these chairs for the kids that they were like, I'm flying so Olivia and I sat with four chairs in between us. 'Cause I'm like, we can't sit next to each other. And I would have sat with like one in between us, but then we're just like being stupid. But we cannot sit directly next to each other. And you can keep quiet. - Of course not. Like, get out of my face. - Yeah. - And then during nap time, like we also naped and Ben's like looking over at me. I'm like, you need to flip the other way. - Yeah, you're so scared. - No, I'm like very triggered by breath. And obviously, Yum Kippur is sort of like my super bowl. And I was just was dodging people left and right yesterday. Like, if I saw you at synagogue and I didn't even say hello, like, I didn't want to smell your breath. - No, I don't want to see anyone, I do not want to speak to anyone. - Nobody. - And then also, I had such an exciting day on Saturday. Do I look any different? Well, you wouldn't see my hairs behind my ears. - You had a haircut. - I got a haircut. - Yeah. - But not just any haircut. Our favorite stylist who cuts your hair in New York, who used to cut my hair in New York, came down to Florida, Mahogany Grace. She's such a queen. And like, I haven't had a good haircut since I left New York unless I go to New York or go to Dallas. And she came to Florida and cut my hair. And I feel brand spankin' new. And there's nothing like a face-framing liar to give a podcaster a little bit of pepeter stuff. - You should accept, oh, I don't wear my hair like you do on the show with hair in front of headphones. So you actually never really see my hair and my layers of the bigger hair. - But it's still, it's more about how you feel. - No, no. Like, in every other hour of my life, yes. However, in this one hour. - Like, do you feel your peace is just sort of like, my chiquillate down to the front and you're just like a sexy little girl with her pieces? - Well, I feel like I have, no, I don't know. I feel like I have so much more variety. Like, I can wear my hair up with pieces, up without pieces in a shin yang, in a tassled blow-jie. And behind the ears, there's just so many more options. So I'm feeling very excited about that. And that was a fun, a fun, girly day. You're welcome. - Our first story, as we discussed, very sad news. Pressley Gerber, son of Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber died at the age of 27. So Pressley died on Sunday, September 20th at a rehab facility, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Records obtained by People magazine. TMZ was the first to report the news. And autopsy has yes to be completed, but it appears that he died of an apparent overdose. He had checked into a rehab the day before and he died at the facility. He appeared to be under the influence when he checked himself in one day before. It's terrible, terrible story. I was so shocked when I heard this and I realized that I hadn't heard about Pressley Gerber in a while. And I remember when Kaya was sort of like launched on the scene at like a young age. She was launched with her brother. Like they were both like, gonna be models and yeah. - Yeah, and Kaya's career really took off. And I feel like now in hindsight, I didn't even realize it at the time. But Pressley definitely like, I don't think that life was for him at all. I didn't know he had this, you know, huge struggle behind the scenes. But I don't even think it was so behind the scenes 'cause then I saw a video today resurfacing of him talking about it. Like I think he's been really open about his addiction. - Also she's such a tragedy. - She's been doing Press recently like for her show. And I remember I saw a clip of her for a few weeks to go just like talking about like her personality and how she's always felt like she needs to be like the achiever because of like her brother's like substance abuse. Like she was talking very openly about it to the point that it felt like in the past. - Right. - That healed. - Talking about how the issues that he's had have sort of like leveled their family. Like it's been incredibly difficult through the years. And again, I didn't know it was ongoing, especially here, I was so open about it before this even happened. - And I feel like what's so crazy about this is like you could look at somebody like Pressley Gerber who was seriously, you would think, like born into, I don't know if a more perfect life exists, right? In Malibu, supermodel mom, billionaire dad, supermodel sister, you're a good looking, you have every opportunity. And it's like really addiction is the great equalizer 'cause like none of that mattered. - Yeah. - And even this is somebody who probably had access like the best type of care when it comes to these types of facilities and you know, treatments or whatever. And it's just, it is such a tragedy. And this is our only sibling, right? - Yeah. - So sad. - Like really so sad. - So sad for the parents. - For the parents. - It's just a terrible, horrible story. It's so shocking, so young, 27. And now like thinking about Housewives on the show. But like is dancing with the stars huge or am I just at that age? I think dancing with the stars is as huge as it's ever been. And we're just now watching it. So it feels huge. I hope so. But also like dancing with the stars when I think about why I like it so much obviously I love dance. But all I watch is reality TV like. And it's a place where like all my favorite people go. And I feel like for so long there were a lot of the shows where it's like random veterans of reality TV shows would go like. X on the beach Island or whatever. Or also just a good conception conceptually like the shows are good. Yeah, because this isn't a new concept. MTV's been doing it forever getting people from the bachelor. So those shows were gross. Yeah. And I feel like people like the competition aspect more than like the romance. Agreed. Those shows were like trying to get people together. So I'd say yeah. He got this random job on Love Island. He could have just truly been like a nameless voice. He makes these amazing TikToks. He does his job so well you can't help but notice the voice. Who would you ever notice a voice? Like it's truly a true example of like he got a gig and he turned it into his dream role. I wonder if like him and Jenae are going to. So yeah, I just feel like she commits like really fucking hard to the sheet that she does. But sometimes like if you just have your target on your back in the beginning. Chatting Tatum is fighting for his life after being accused of running like a spam hater account called. The name of the Nanya business called a Nanya business. So eagle eyed fans spotted that people figured this out this weekend and it count called Nanya business. Like leaving sort of hate comments on Duma of posts about Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles. Now there's nothing out of the ordinary with like bots so much celebrity stand culture is literally bots. But this particular bot was curious to people that said eagle eyed viewers for two reasons. One, because this account was followed by Channing Tatum as official account. And two, because this commenter, like seemingly exclusively, was commenting on posts that were related back to Harry Styles, Zoe Kravitz, Channing Tatum, like that orbit of people. So people were very quick to sort of assume that this is Channing Tatum's burner account. Yes, and like also some of the comments were like referencing things that Channing has said in the past sort of like deep cuts of public quotes that he made, but like things only really Channing. Channing would sort of want to highlight to the group. Yeah. And yes, the smoking guy knows the fact that Channing Tatum followed this account. And this account had one follower Channing Tatum. So Channing Tatum, and it's just sort of everyone sort of ran with the fact that that is Channing Tatum. For days, he was caught running his own Finstra, very normani-esque. However, he has put out a statement, like emphatically stating that it was not him. Denying the allegations. He says that he is not behind the account. He said, you know, if he has something to say, that he'll say it. This is his only official account. And if he was trying to hide a burner account, why would he follow it? I think guess like is a pretty logical line of thinking. Why do you follow this random account? Does he follow a lot of other accounts that he really can't explain? I also want to know if Channing Tatum follows 100 people or 1000 people. He follows 8,000 people. So I can see certain celebrities follow a lot of their fan accounts. And if this person is like constantly like DMing Channing and tagging him and stuff like maybe he just threw them a follow. The 8,000 is actually the most compelling piece of evidence for Channing. I agree. Although I was sort of like getting comfortable with the idea of like this being his burner account. And like I liked that version better. Well, here's the thing. Also his statement read like this. By the way, like I can't believe this is how he talks. Yo, I truly can't believe y'all think this is what I'm doing with my free time. Fucking hilarious. Also, why would I follow a burner account if I didn't want people to connect me to it? What the fuck? Come on. But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account at Channing Tatum. Also considering that's how he talks. It's very different from the dialect of none of business. Also true, but that is kind of a easy way to throw people off changing their dialects. I want to say like whether or not it was Channing. Like it doesn't matter. People have decided he will never live this. I know. What is happening? Yes, it's giving Normani. This is not. No people are too obsessed with it though. They're not going to. They don't want to see the truth. They don't want to move on. They don't want to hear from him. I personally like don't think it's him, especially given like the 8000. He probably just like followed follow for follow, you know, trying to engage with his fans. Yeah, yeah. I don't also see when I think about the landscape of Channing Tatum's personal life. Like I don't see Zoe Kravitz as the one that got away. I personally see Jesse Jay as the one that got away. But like I don't feel like he's hung up on her. I feel like they kind of ran their course. That's just a vibe that I get. Yeah, you can always tell when someone's like still pining for someone. They didn't like know that they were being recorded. They're watching Taylor's Emmy's Mariska Hargotez kit. And the producers are like, all right, we're ready. He was like, oh, sorry, like, oh, and he's basically saying-- He said she looks kind of hot with a gun on her waist. And then Travis goes, ah! She cracked me up. That's what you took from that. And Travis was like, now I know what to get her for Christmas. I mean, when do you get the girl who has everything? A gun. That's beautiful. Now let me say this. I watched a little bit of Taylor at the game. And I learned a lot about the game, you know, like the team. How's Travis doing? So there's this new guy. And I think this new guy is a huge part of it. And he's kind of like putting Travis out a little bit, just because Travis' job is like to run and catch and score. And like, this guy is like doing that, you know? Well, Travis is going to retire soon. So like, you do need to like-- Of course. --first shoes before there's a gap before there's nobody wearing the shoes. Kenneth Walker III. He's an all-star running back. I also think that when it's great, you're like, should it be my last? I know. It's kind of catch 22. But I mean, if I'm yourself asking, oh, my last season was so great, should it be my last-- answer is yes. Yeah. Now, I feel that we can pretty much-- we can never guess what she's going to do. But I feel like she's going to be at pretty much all the home games now. Like that's her husband. Yeah. She has this great relationship with the family that owns the stadium and the team. And they always, you know, they get her in, security, everything. I feel like, yeah, she's-- Yeah. I'm going to be there. She's doing, you know, revving up some like work stuff. She's definitely honored at the MTV VMAs with a new award called the Artist Director Honors that she will be receiving. They just make shit up. It's a non-Sunday at the VMAs, which does like clear her up to give a speech and perhaps an announcement. It's giving an announcement. I thought we were going to get an announcement at the CMAs and it was going to be like more-- because she keeps saying-- We could get a country announcement at the CMAs. I feel that the VMAs are so irrelevant to like genuine culture. But I think she has a very complicated relationship with them, of course, like the Kanye thing. She's always doing the most at the VMAs. Yeah. Her re-record, like, medley, remember. Right. She does a lot of shit there. I think it's just like a safe place where there's a camera crew and a stage and you can do whatever you want. I guess it doesn't matter. Like, anyone can do whatever they want at the VMAs. If you're showing up and you'll show up, you can seriously do whatever you want. It's just annoying because I really wasn't planning on watching the VMAs. And now I sort of have to. No, no, no, no. I don't think I can watch, honestly. But just like text me when she's getting her award coming. Yeah, I'm not coming for that. OK. I actually don't think I can handle it. That's what I mean. I'm almost like annoyed at her for making me even consider it and talk about the VMAs. And I have to say VMAs on the show. I know, I know. Like, I know. Just, I'm watching Dancing with the Stars. It's sort of like a full-time job. No, no, it's one or the other. Like, I'm not in my VMAs era. No, I don't think you're alone in that. Yeah. So yeah, big, cute weekend for lured this. I feel like a lot's percolating there. The percolating. The new haircut is so good. The face is so good. Yes, everything is looking really good over at Taylor Nation HQ. Yeah, there's like a picture of her from the game this weekend, with her hands on her hips, standing out in the box. And she looks insane. Her arms are jacked. It's like, she looks amazing. But she obviously did a wedding arms series. It's very popular to get your arms and check for your wedding. And they look great. And maybe we'll never get a picture of her at the wedding. But now we know what her arms look like. Yeah, we'll never know what her arms looked like at her actual wedding. But we will know what they look like too much for her. Yeah. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? Yes. Taylor Frankie Paul announces that she's stepping away from secret lives and Mormon wives after allegedly failing her court order drug tests and citing disgusting bullying from her cast mates. The crazy thing is that she decided to step down. And like her-- after all of this, losing custody for kids, failing a truck, like all these terrible things that she did. And her statement is all about the girls' tic-tocs. And like them cyber bullying me. Well, what happened was-- Laila happened. Laila happened. Who the thung ladle be the one to put her in a tic-toc? They're fighting on tic-toc. And she fights so dirty and nasty. We were just saying that she's like to Jason. Oh, but you didn't have me in your bedroom. Like, just like, Nassie always comes-- She goes there. The way that she fought on the show, just like saying to Nassie, like when she goes to this place of just like-- Dark place, so-- And I'm just going to say the meanest thing. There's like no line that she won't cross. And she's accusing-- so she's fighting with like Miranda and Laila in the comments. She's like, you guys are jealous of me, whatever. And Laila writes back, jealous of the girl who gets eight hours a week with her kids. I don't think so. And you know, it sort of had to be said-- It was a conversation and her. Because that's what we said last week. Taylor's social media is completely to avoid if what's going on in reality. And so for Taylor, I mean, for Laila, she just like bring reality to the comment section. I really appreciate it. And the fact that we've now learned all this stuff about Taylor and her reason for leaving is because I think it isn't being mean to me. It's like, girl, that's not what happened. So she then she posted-- so after that sort of went silent, you know? Yeah, right. She-- Laila shut shit down. She shut it down. Then Taylor posted like a long-winded thing on Instagram, saying that her gratitude goes out. I almost didn't read it because she's always talking like this. Like, let me see-- Oh, my god, it's so true. Gratitude goes out to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However, I don't desire to move forward like this. She then lashed out of her castmate, saying they engaged in a pylon. She wrote that laughing about my kids is disgusting. That's like not really what happened. No, that's not what happened. And I agree that kids are off limits. But at what point can we stop circulating? the drain as to what's really going on with you. - No, no one was laughing at her kids. They were laughing at her. - Correct. - She also hinted at the fact that she's made a mistake that all of them are guilty of making some, and that she's just the one paying the ultimate price for it. I don't know what that means specifically and maybe having done drugs or drinking or-- - Wait, read it again? - Let me get the exact verbiage. - Actually, I can't even lie. I did not read it. Her statement, she's so verbose. - Oh, she is. - She's just like, tells lies, like, I'm a girl, what are you talking about? I live here in reality. - No, I was shocked to find that there was actually some meat in the statement that said, "Okay, so here's the statement. "Graditude goes to all the network." And there was screenshots of pictures of her with screenshots of her fans' comments on it of people defending her. Like the comments that she liked, she found two of them. My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress and I'm back to that point. Some of the girls know what I've been through and then turn and collectively pile on with their statements. Knowing there has been ongoing abuse through the system the last eight months on top of what I've endured. Almost the entire class plus some going at me. Laughing about my kids is disgusting. And I bit my tongue there. These same people had meetings telling me I need to lead the way of pay. My voice was the only one that can make it happen and then they would work from what I demanded. I'm grateful I never followed through with their requests of demands and I'm grateful I kept same pay out of fairness and integrity. I treated production and crew with respect always. In fact, they are the ones who checked on me throughout this. I agree, it's to the point of bullying for months now. What makes it harder to take in is some of these parents have made mistakes that would result in the same judgment I'm receiving yet pointing a finger. However, I feel like she's accusing them of having done drugs and get drink and wild and crazy. However, it's a pleasure to remove myself so they can continue because I'm almost convinced myself. I'm deserving of all this pain and to a certain degree, absolutely. This is the consequences of my actions. My question has been how much suffering and scrutiny is going to be enough. I'm just relieved to be out. - And we are so tired. Like I am so tired. I don't even know what the hell you're talking about. I also don't feel like she's really stepping back. This is just giving attention, seeking statement. Michaela was asked, "Oh, well, Taylor's gone. "Does this mean you'll come back?" And she said, "No." And I agree with her. It's like, "Well, it's nice that Taylor's stepping back." The fact that the show would have chosen her to continue, who wants to be part of that? It's just icky and gross and trashy. - Yeah, but this is what I was saying last week. I felt like Michaela's statement and position had gained so much steam that it was like, I feel like something actually might happen because of this. I never expected the network to choose Michaela over Taylor. They just never would. But yeah, I guess Taylor's seeing that. Imagine your Taylor and the whole world is-- - And it's like finally, the fans have never, not once. Like given Taylor any sort of grief, like they just love her. - Yeah, so if the whole world is taking the side of the girl who said that she won't be anywhere that you are and everybody wants to see her and be with her, then okay, then I'll leave. But this is also so classic Taylor. Like she's so aggressive. She's so nasty in the comments in everything that she says. And then when she gets it back, she's a victim. - Yeah, no, she's like textbook narcissist. It's so painful to watch and listen. And I just want to say like, Leila and Miranda, like I love what Leila said, like somebody needed to say it. But like I'm so tired of these spineless women. Like only after Michaela went out on a limb and was like, listen, I'm not comfortable doing this anymore. And got so rewarded for that to the other girl's feel and power, which be like, oh, now the fans won't hate us. Let me say something mean to Taylor. Like they're so fucking immature. They're so not principled. And it's like, yeah, I love that she ate her up. But it's like, why did you feel, why were you only empowered to do that now? And it's because like, it's not brave now. - No, it's not brave now. I completely agree there are all followers. The only one who was brave was Michaela. And I will also say Macy for not backing down in the confrontation, knowing that Taylor's fans might hate them and everyone who watches the show might hate them. - And knowing that was a consequence. And like, whatever, Jesse was not prepared to do it. - No, but Miranda and Layla were certainly not. - They didn't say anything. At least Jesse tried. Like she was saying a similar thing to Michaela and Macy, but like, couching and so soft. - But that's also her personality. Like I don't think that if she started now, trashing Taylor, like because that would be lame. But this is her personality to just like, try and like be a peacemaker. So I don't really have an issue with that, but to be that way and then come out swinging only because it's popular is lame. - And what's the same pay thing that Taylor's saying is that they all ended up getting paid the same. - It sounded like the girls wanted her to go to production and demand more pay and they told her like how to do that and because they felt like production, I'm just making this up, but based on what she's saying, trying to like make sense of this pile of mush. She sounded like that they wanted her to go to production to demand more pay because production would listen to her. She is like the leader of mom talk. And she would, they were asking her to negotiate on all their behalf because they all get paid the same. - Do you think they all get paid the same? - Me too, because you also can see their executive producers now in the credit, it's all of them. - Yes and remember like the Demi conversation when she was trying to get more money and then Taylor was like, even I'm not trying to get more money and I'm like the star of the show. - No, you need to negotiate, you need to all be paid the same. It gives you a lot of power. - It gives you power. It's the only way the show can sort of stay on the rails in terms of personality. - And sorry Taylor, while she might be the star, she never shows up. - No, but like her drama was always bigger. She was providing more. So yeah, the people who show up all the time, I don't want to hear from you all the time. And now it's your drama, it's not the one I'm interested in. - Up until now it's like, even though I don't really care so much about like relationship drama, but it was just like Taylor in general. It's just very fascinating. Yeah, and chaotic, but we've all had our fill I guess and things have just gotten to a point. And I feel like even they got to a point in when we saw the video and people were starting to like give grace for that, but to see the behavior that was on this season. And even though the behavior on this season is from before that video came out. So imagine she changed drastically after, after she was thoroughly canceled. Like imagine that 'cause that's what I was sort of thinking. Like and I'll give her grace because the big thing hasn't happened yet and she's still like just this moron. - But yeah, and a lot of times going through like a big public skin, like that like does change you to your core. - I think we now realize Taylor is a person who's not capable of change. - For me, it's all this stuff that's happening online now that the season has aired and her fighting with the girls and like not really taking accountability and just like getting so nasty. It just speaks to the fact that she's still defending the person she was when this season aired. When this season was filmed. So I'm out. - Yeah, right. She's like vouching for herself and it's like girl, you're indefensible. - Yeah, if you had been like the first one to be like, oh my gosh, watching this back, we may see Mikaela wearing so bright. This was such a hard time in my life. Like plus compounding it with like the drug test failure. - The loss of custody. - Yeah, and just the refusal. Then so that's present day, you know, still not making the changes needed to have the agency over your life and your family. Like, I'm out. - Yeah, and I don't know if she's actually leaving 'cause she does seem like the type to do shit like this for attention. - Yes. - But note, and like into Garner the fans back. Oh no Taylor, we love you. Come back, we'll help you. We'll keep your secret. But like I really hope it's real. Even though I don't know what that even means for the future of the show 'cause Mikaela's not coming back. So what? No, nobody's coming back. And we all are gonna have to watch the secret lives of OC wives.
