NFL Week 6 Best Bets: Expert Picks, Upset Predictions & Top Game Totals (Ep. 1101)

This episode of the Betting Pros NFL podcast is a Week 6 best bets show hosted by Seth Wolcock alongside Andrew Erickson, who preview 13 matchups running from Sunday morning through Monday night. The hosts open by recapping recent betting results, including a rough prior weekend for Erickson, before diving into their favorite plays. Erickson's top pick is the Carolina Panthers +1.5 against the Eagles, citing Philadelphia's post-international-game rest disadvantage, a lengthy injury report, and a leaky slot defense that Jalen Coker and Bryce Young can exploit. He also backs the Chargers-Chiefs under 43 points, pointing to strong historical unders, top-10 red-zone defenses, and injuries on both offenses. Seth counters with Bills-Raiders over 53, expecting the slate's biggest offensive explosion given both teams' over trends and a struggling Raiders secondary. Erickson adds Browns +5.5 at home versus Baltimore, leaning on divisional home-underdog trends and Lamar Jackson uncertainty, and Saints-Giants over 44, banking on Jameis Winston and two weak defenses. Seth offers Najee Harris anytime touchdown at 4-to-1 as his long-shot special and a plus-190 parlay pairing the Bills-Raiders over with Kirk Cousins over 239.5 passing yards. The hosts close with Polymarket predictions, Chargers-Chiefs under 42.5 and Blake Corum over 9.5 rush attempts, and promote the Betting Pros Smart Money tool and channel growth.

Speaker 3All right, and welcome into the Betting Pros NFL podcast. The temperatures continue to drop across the country, but the NFL season is only heating up and week six should be no different. Xero is a great way to as we have 13 intriguing matchups running all the way from Sunday morning to Monday night. We'll get you set up from a gambling perspective with our best bets episode. I'm your host, Seth Wilcock, back with the favorite for the wedding guest MVP award. He's Andrew Erickson. Erickson, I don't know about you, but no weddings, no apple picking this weekend on the agenda for the kid, just two days straight of watching ball and hopefully cashing some tickets in front of the
Speaker 4fireplace. 100% no more wedding distractions, although the weddings are very, very fun to go to and I'll see you next time. Bye. Bo Nix and why this offense is struggling. So whether it's Davis Webb calling plays, whether it's Sean Payton calling plays, the Denver Broncos can't seem to get out of their own way with a check down artist right now under center. So that bet cash, I felt really good about that. We got a shout out in one of the YouTube chats, I think on the look ahead line show about that call. So let's go sneak peek. Maybe we're going to be diving back into the unders when it comes to chargers games here because the Broncos here aren't on the main slate. But I do. Yeah, excited for week six and I want to keep this streak rolling here.
Speaker 3Yeah, agreed with you. And YouTube comments were very quick also to note that the play calling change happened right after you gave out that play. So shout out to those who still rode with you either way. Getting that dub there for myself, one of the worst gambling weekends I've had of the year really across the NFL, college football and NASCAR. Like it feels like very seldomly I get all three of those sports right in one weekend. It happened the weekend prior, not last week at all. Absolutely blanked on the plays. I gave out. I couldn't believe that DeAndre Swift had no common on guy. So I got all the CLV on that where I took his over 13 and a half rushing attempts. It was like 17 and a half, 18 and a half, you know, when Sunday morning came around. But CLV does not cash tickets. Right. And and unfortunately, only nine attempts for him because it was just one of those games that game script kind of got away. I think they're kind of sparing him in the second half a little bit, giving Roshan some runs. So, guys, we're going to continue to hopefully swing a hotter bat than that this week. Before we do, just want to shout out everyone who's joining us right here for all the wins and the losses on Bankro's YouTube channel and the audio feed. We're chasing now 100000 subscribers by the end of the NFL season. We can only get there with your help. So please give us a quick thumbs up if you enjoy this type of content. And don't forget, subscribe to the channel if you're new. We'd really appreciate that. Andrew Erickson, go ahead and get us started. What are you seeing out there as far as game picks go for this great slate?
Speaker 4I'm going to go with the Carolina Panthers points one and a half at the Philadelphia Eagles. The cardiac cats. Are we back? Seriously? With Bryce Young cooking coming off a bye week against the Philadelphia Eagles, reeling Eagles who look like they were going to come away in Jacksonville. That was one of the bets I didn't get right last week was laying the points with Jacksonville. They almost lost outright. I should have lost outright to the Philadelphia Eagles, but the Eagles end up blowing a yet another game. Crazy. They are licking their wounds coming back home at least. But the fact that they are coming off an international game without a bye week in between the track record for these teams has not been great. And I was actually kicking myself last week for not coming onto the show and just laying the points with Pittsburgh, right? After looking more into that, I added it to the betting pros primer for week five as one of my favorite plays, because it looks so obvious to me where you had a team coming off an international win with the Colts beating the commander, but the Colts did not look great in that game. Daniel Jones did not look that good against a team that was coming off extended rest because the Pittsburgh Steelers had played on the last Thursday night. So that to me was a total rest mismatch. And now it's something similar here with the Eagles, right? They're coming off an international game, no bye week in between against the Carolina Panthers, who is coming off their official bye week at a time where it was actually kind of a necessity, right? They had a bunch of offensive linemen banged up some potential for them to get some of those guys back. And specifically, Jalen Coker is practicing in full so far on the injury report. He is such a big piece in big boots. He's going to be a big piece in big boots. to this offense. If you look at what he has done on the field with Bryce Young this season, they've averaged nine yards per attempt with Jalen Coker on the field. That would rank second best in the NFL. And what have we seen all year long with teams attacking this Eagles defense? They're attacking the slot. Yes. They've been one of the worst teams defending the slot. Cooper DeGene has not been that effective in slot coverage this season. And that's where Jalen Coker runs the majority of his routes. So given you have T-Mac, given you have Jalen Coker, given that you have Bryce Young playing at a elite level to start this season, and it couldn't be anything different when you look at the Eagles side of things, where you look at their injury report, it looks like my CVS receipt list, right? Guys are continuously banged up. We still don't know if Saquon Barkley and Devonta Smith are going to play. It seems that those guys are probably still long shots. If you look at the, are they playing tool on fantasy pros? It's great for fantasy, but I actually use it a lot for betting to get an idea on some of these players because we do this show Wednesday. We only get one right part of the injury report. But when guys DNP on Wednesday, it's usually a pretty strong indication they're not going to end up playing unless it's like a veteran rest day. So the fact that Barkley and Devonta Smith not play on Wednesday again, they both are very, very low percentages to play in this type of matchup. I think the Eagles defense is just completely overrated, giving up over 300 plus passing yards, back to back games, seventh and passing yards allowed per game. So I think the Panthers continue to cook here. They've just been very good to bet on in general this season. I believe they're four and two against the spread in their last six games. The Eagles are one and five against the spread in their last six games. They're scoring 18.4 points per game. This offense is so broken, dude. And the trend that I mentioned before about teams playing immediately after an international game. So this year, it hasn't been so terrible. Those teams are four, one and one straight up three, three against the spread. But last week, specifically to the London teams, those teams both went oh and two against the spread. So the commanders tied the Giants, but didn't cover. And then obviously the Pittsburgh Steelers, beat the Colts pretty handedly after they were coming off no rest after playing internationally. So of the 27 NFL teams that have played the week after international game. So in total, 16, 10 and one straight up 12 and 15 against the spread. But since the start of last season, just three and seven against the spread. So I think that the rest advantage works in the favor of the Carolina Panthers. Just the rosters themselves. I mean, why do you think the Panthers are favorites against the Eagles on the road? Imagine, imagine what this line was. I get I'm actually surprised. What was this line? And the schedule first week is probably like the Eagles were favorable like a touchdown.
Speaker 3Well, I can tell you this. This opened this week and this was flipped. I don't know where it was when you and Worm sat down and did early lines episode.
Speaker 4Those were Panthers were dogs.
Speaker 3OK, definitely. They were at one point out to six and a half point dogs when this opened, right? So that kind of just tells you how much that this has shifted since then. And even this week, we've seen it flip right and the sharp money. And I feel like even the public money has come in on the cardiac cats.
Speaker 4So yeah, and I have no reason to believe in wanting to bet on the Philadelphia Eagles. I know that they showed up last week, probably should have won. But this is a team that continues to tally the losses, right? Even though they covered, you didn't feel really great about it. It's not like we looked at that Eagles game and thought, man, Steve looks really good and really improved so many injuries across the board. So give me the cardiac cats.
Speaker 3OK, all right. And also, you're now going to go back to something that we haven't seen a ton from you this year, but it's exciting to get back back onto the right side of things with the Undertaker making an appearance today.
Speaker 4Yes, the Undertaker has returned and we're going right back to a Chargers game. I wish the Denver Broncos were on this slate, but they are not. They're playing Thursday night. So the Chargers going to the Kansas City Chiefs. I'm going to take the under at 43 points. There are a lot of really strong trends that point towards this being a strong under game. You look at the last five times that teams have met between the Chargers and the Chiefs only only one time has the game surpassed 36 points. And that happened last year in one of the their international games when they faced off against each other i talked about this last week too about the chargers defense is like actually not like the biggest problem for this team it's definitely on their offensive side of the football again they actually weren't that horrible in week four against seattle and then in week five versus denver they finished top six in total guards and yards per play it allowed on the week and they currently rank 10th in pressure rate denver went one for 12 on third downs and that was a week after seattle went three for 12 on third down so the chargers defense isn't like the main issue with here it's the offense which again this isn't earth-shattering news that this office has been buns this season and i don't see any reason why it's going to improve just given all the injuries that they're dealing with both the chiefs and the chargers also boast top 10 red zone defenses so even if these teams do drive the length of the field i think that we're going to see more converted field goals than touchdowns kansas city's probably gonna be without rashi rice i see battles of handshakes hamstring injuries so that's taking away another weapon for patrick mahomes and i think the most interesting nugget for this game despite the fact that the chiefs are probably one of the strongest under teams at home over the last three seasons actually they're tied with the minnesota vikings as the strongest underplay since 2024 so an interesting trend that i found regarding andy reed off the bye with the kansas city chiefs i know that we look at that as oh the chiefs play super well we know their offense is really explosive after these bye weeks that's not actually really been the case obviously he's been really strong winning a lot of these games 22 and four after a regular season bye week nine and four with the chiefs straight up six and two with patrick mahomes specifically straight up but he's actually closer to 50 against the spread after a regular season bye week so it really hasn't been super profitable to take the chiefs laying the points which is what usually they are doing after a bye week the better bet is the chiefs under after a bye week after a bye week since 2018 the chiefs are three and ten towards the over in that following game so strong trend towards the under each of the chiefs last 10 home games against afc west teams have gone under and the chargers like we've seen they're one in five to the total in their last six games so i don't need to sell anybody on how this chargers offense is going to continue to struggle i don't see how it improves unless they decide to fire mike mcdaniel or do something along those lines i really have to shake things up or you have to see something really weird with turnovers something like that to see them really score points against a healthy chiefs defense coming off the bye week and i don't know if that's going to change i just don't think the chiefs need to necessarily put the pedal to the metal here to beat the chargers when they really have not had any semblance of life on offense so the trends are really strong towards this game going under it's at 43 points which isn't super low i mean i would not be surprised if this game is 38 total 39 total because that's really been what these games have been as i talked about earlier 36 points that's we've seen it surpass that number one time in these last five matchups between these two
Speaker 3teams yeah and you spoke to rashi rice likely not being available he was a dnp on wednesday's practice josh simmons the chiefs left tackle he was back at practice but you know for the chargers of course we have rashawn slater who underwent some surgery last week he's going to be out of this one joe all opens up the week as a dnp as well and plus their wide receiver core right now lad a limited at practice also qj limited at practice and trey harris a dnp so i mean there's a chance where we're seeing maybe lad out there and if it is they're not going to be 100 so uh it's just not a lot of great options there it's going to be a heavy dose of the backfield which you know that that continues to run clock and helps you get to your total under for me i'm going the opposite way here um i'm staying in the afc but i'm also going to go with an over the buffalo bills versus the raiders over 53 points we just talked about it ericson there's a lot of divisional games this week whether potentially in play again and i'm expecting week six to be relatively low scoring overall this bills raiders game i think this is the one explosion spot on the slate the bills four and one to the over this season they're going over uh the total by an average of two points per game the raiders three and two to the over going over the total by an average of 1.5 points per game they've hit the over in three straight games and in those matchups those have had 60 points in total the raiders defense which started out pretty hot on the season has just fallen apart especially in that secondary and the raiders top five in pace this season using an average of 30.5 seconds per play on the clock uh each and every single game and the bills are 20th but run the fifth fewest plays per game because they're just going up and down the field right they don't have to run a lot of plays because they're being so effective in this offense so shop this around because most retail and prediction markets have this around 53 and a half but 53 point tickets are available if you can find that in your state so that's where i'm getting down on for one of my favorite uh slates uh favorite bets on this slate over 53 points flat buffalo bills versus the raiders
Speaker 4it's interesting i know one of the bets i did hit last week was the bills on the money line upsetting los angeles rams yes that's a game that could have gone back and forth right the ticket was live but the rams could obviously won that game too so that was a fun sweat for sure especially to put me in the green for last week but part of my handicapping behind that game was that josh allen puts up much better passing numbers in domes which was not the case whatsoever because he basically did nothing through the air and it was all because of his legs i don't think that necessarily will be the case two weeks in a row especially if they do get dj more back in the lineup so i'm expecting more fireworks from josh allen but the fact that he was able to do what he did with his legs man it's so hard to bet against this bill's offense in dome conditions and then you have kirk cousin on the other side where yeah coming off not a great game against the new england patriots defense but back indoors which you obviously love the speed and maybe a healthier ashen genti and there's still nobody that can cover brock bowers even the patriots couldn't cover brock bowers so i do think that the over is in play here and that's kind of how the trends have been this year the high totals feel like they're scary to bet right for the most part they've just been going over anyway and the same thing with the low totals where yeah it's a low total doesn't matter teams aren't scoring so the market has been pretty good about even betting high totals what is the number at right
Speaker 3now there are 53 and a half out there i got a 53 there is still 53 available if you want it right now so um we'll talk more about that game a little bit you know we're going from one of the most fireworks uh inducing game of the weekend to one that might be a little bit of a rock fight out there in the afc north what do you have for us if you own a

Speaker 4continue to cook cleveland browns with the points At all, five and a half. We don't know at this point of recording whether Lamar Jackson is going to play and i know that worm and i talked about this on the look ahead show where this line here five and a half four and a half at some books feels kind of like a hedge where it's like the books and the public we're all not really sure if lamar jackson is going to play because i assume if lamar was playing this would be a touchdown at least at least seven and a half maybe yeah and be probably closer to a field goal if tyler huntley is like pronounced as the starter for the ravens so i think that either way whoever starts for the ravens i want the browns on this side so if you can wait and get a better number if lamar does play that's fantastic take the browns plus seven whatever but for the sake of our show i gotta take the best number i can get and that's five and a half now with the cleveland browns divisional underdogs 14 and four against the spread in 2026 divisional home underdogs six and two against the spread there was one divisional home underdog playing this week it is the cleveland browns the cleveland browns the dog pound and dude the cleveland browns are one of these teams that i've talked about it ad nauseam on a lot of these betting shows fantasy shows they just play so much better when they're at home like i get that home road splits probably get overblown in sports and just in general but when the trends are so in favor of cleveland and that home field advantage they are seven and one against the spreads at the start of last season as a home underdog like they just cover the spread every single time when they're playing or almost every single time when they play in front of the dog pound i think it's just so apropos right it's like they're the cleveland browns they're mascots like this dog they're underdogs here they call it the dog pound like this is the side that i want to be on in this game look at the last afc north games seven of the last eight games between afc north teams been won outright by underdogs the browns are six and oh against the spread versus afc north at home in their last six home divisional games so i think that the schematically it's really hard to look at well sean watson took eight sacks last week oh he looks absolutely great like you should definitely bet on the browns that's not the play here it's just a matter of these teams are always in a rock fight it's way closer than the lines always suggest and i would even say too if lamar jackson plays how healthy is he going to be right coming off an ankle injury we saw him come back last year and not look like himself and he was an absolute disaster when he came back too soon so i think for the sake of the ravens i would want them to help us from a betting perspective because that means you're probably going to get a worse number on the cleveland browns and then another angle to look at in this game todd monken that guy knows this ravens personnel very very well yeah great officer coordinator the last two years and that i don't think is considered enough in this line now because i get it can work both ways where oh well they know about todd monken yes but when the line is so one-sided where the angle isn't really like taken into account i think that's actually an interesting piece where if the browns end up upsetting the baltimore ravens which no one would be surprised by happening because this is how this afc north works i think that todd monken would probably have a big input on oh yeah this is how they stopped this ravens offense this is how they stopped or or limited derrick henry etc so baltimore does this all the time they constantly play down to their competition they lose against the saints a couple weeks ago so i am not i definitely don't want to lay the points with the baltimore ravens given the quarterback question marks and i just think that the browns are the sharp play here so last week i was all over the green bay packers as that strongest and they destroyed the chicago bears against who was it a backup quarterback starting on the road as a favorite hmm what's happening here potentially a backup quarterback starting on the road as a favorite in divisional game rinse and repeat seth give me the give me the browns yeah a lot of
Speaker 3interesting injuries for the browns that i would need to see uh you know shake out on the plus side before i'd get invested here with you just mason graham that's a guy who can clog up derrick henry right he's been playing i mean just phenomenal ball i mean talk about someone who came on top of a nfl trade in the last year the fact that the browns got to trade back still get mason graham they got extra first round pick from the jacksonville jaguars and i think even a second in that deal like they absolutely cleaned up in that one um but mason graham is questionable right now for this week we also know carson swessinger the reigning defensive rookie of the year questionable coming in this and quinshawn jutkins and the browns backfield is just starved right now of talent it could be julio mclaughlin who is the one who goes here because we did see uh raheem rocket sanders already banged up uh last week he's going on ir so a lot of question marks for the browns overall but um i i do agree with the sediment here and back in the land and speaking of the land have you seen the uh the previews for the the new show coming uh to disney plus in february no i have not oh baby so basically take like draft day um but out in an entire season like right like it's uh it's basically like following a fictitious uh browns team and the highs and the lows of the organization it's a drama right so you have you know you're following the owners you're following the coaches you're following some of the star players kind of like friday night lights in a way if it were like cleveland browns themed in 2026 who is
Speaker 4playing detron watson i have a fictitious character that gets a fully guaranteed contract and is literally terrible and has all these horrible allegations like
Speaker 3i do not think it i think it follows like a young rookie like a first round pick because uh there's actually reports coming out of the nfl draft and don't mean to go down a rabbit hole here but like that the browns like filmed a fictitious you know pick happening in pittsburgh this year and everyone thought it was draft day too but it was really just the land coming to hulu and disney in february so uh keep an eye out for that andrew as soon as the nfl season ends you can pick it right back up baby with uh with the brownies and uh go one more time but um instead of backing the browns with your final bet here you're actually going to shift gears and go back to the total mark
Speaker 4what do you have for us yep i got a a favorite i've got a underdog i got an under and i'm going to go with an over so kind of very balanced car yeah my four favorite bets here i'm going to go with over 44 points new orleans saints at the new york giants i just can't bring myself to take an under in a game that's being started by james winston because they've gone over in their last two straight games the last three games james winston and the giants have played have all been like in the rain and fingers crossed we can get some decent weather here in new york at met life i checked the weather before we hopped on here there's still like a potential for some rain but i mean james winston has shown he can rise above any type of mother nature because they have gone over the last two games monster totals 60 points 54 points and this saints defense dude i'm still trying to figure out why the saints are favored in this game at all maybe the giants at home is just the best bet to make here because james winston since his terrible start against when he filled in off the bench against the rams dude's three and oh against the spread right like james has been kind of like lights out a little bit i know that the last two weeks have really been where his production has come and it's obviously been like last week they look like dead in the water in the first half of the game and then they just could unleash winston my favorite stat from that game james winston attempted 54 passes it was the first time he'd ever attempted that many passes and not thrown interception which which is like so spot on of like that makes total sense there's no way he's ever done 50 attempts and not thrown at least one pick so maybe we have some regression there with an interception but i just think this game could be a lot of fun right wacky game we know the saints of one of the heaviest pass rates in the nfl when shuck is healthy they're not afraid to shuck it all over the field but the saints defense has been terrible 30.2 points per game that is bottom five in the nfl and i think you're thinking we're maybe getting some value on the saints offense after they got basically erased by minnesota and the brian flores defense you can't take away anything from offenses after they face brian flores right it's there's nothing that really is super helpful because of how good that defense is now admittedly the giants are probably going to do a lot of something similar when it comes to blitzing they've actually been one of the heaviest blitzing teams since they lost brian burns makes sense when you lose one of your top pass rushers you try to find other ways to create pressure on opposing quarterbacks teller shock has not been good against the blitz this year but blitzes invite boomer bus plays and if shuck is able to shake one of these blitzers he's going to find his open man and chuck it down field and potentially get a big game we know jamie swinston on the other side he can drive games going over the total so i like this game to be more fun for scoring i think that both defenses are bad saints are second worst defense in points per game allowed this season they're both bottom 10 yards per play allowed both bottom 12 and epa per play allowed both bottom six run defenses both below average red zone defense wow so if we could get like good weather right maybe we get a little bit more of james winston giants games have only averaged 43 points but that's what the context of they had that game against the rams that was absolutely terrible they had that game against the titans that was a rock fight essentially like in the mud and they've had these other two games that have really been explosive from a point scoring standpoint so my early lean on this game was the over and i just don't think that it's low enough where i'm going to be shying away from in any way shape or form so the saints i mean i guess they're expected to play better on the road here because they are favorites and tyler struck has actually been they've actually covered seven straight games on the road so if we do get a better bounce back performance from their offense as well against the giants defense that again i'm not really concerned about i think that we can get over this total here well
Speaker 3don't forget andrew that the saints and james winston a little bit of a history eating some doves right so uh i know while the gripe was more between james winston and dennis allen if you remember a couple years ago trying to get his boy uh jamal williams into the game i think that you know there's still a little bit of a jamis that you know probably wants to go out there and put one to him right
Speaker 4oh my god dude i remember that like yesterday he basically told dennis allen to pounce and i was like nah dude we're getting this guy
Speaker 3dennis allen gets chewed out by arthur smith afterwards too just making it all that much
Speaker 4better so and to tie bow to tie bow on the jamis winston experience last 11 full starts eight and three towards you over four and one towards you over since the start of last season the only under he has played in was that barn quote-unquote barn burner against the titans when i mean we don't need
Speaker 3to talk about that game again yeah perfect weather out there too uh in east rutherford this weekend as compared to the last couple we've gotten out there in some ugly ugly giants games um and and also keep in mind too that i think this is one where we know the saints can't run the ball right so time will not be coming off the clock a ton when they're having it right it's going to be a lot of tyler shuck putting it on that young man or i don't i call him a young man but he's like my age so you know uh what what am i a younger man i guess so uh yeah let's go with that and uh also folks make sure you're checking out the new smart money tool from betting pros you can see where sharp money is flowing in prediction markets and actually compare that to sportsbooks odds and uncover potentially mispriced lines follow the action and find the same bets often at a better price at bettingpros.com slash smart start winning again let's get some more bets through the window with that smart money tool bettingpros.com slash smart andrew i'm gonna see you in the next one bye bye stay in this game for my long shot special of the week give me naji harris anytime touchdown four to one and look this is usually an underdog special of the week i took some creative liberties here because i could not find an upset that i really was confident on in this slate feels like a lot of heavy favorites and for a good reason right so we're shifting this from you know a normal you know game pick over here into the prop market but naji harris anytime touchdown four to one feels really good because much to my chagrin in fantasy football naji averaging 1.8 red zone touches per game and he has really started to eat into this goal line work that we thought was maybe going to be cam scadaboos to begin the season the saints you mentioned it man their defense has been atrocious they've allowed the most rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this season with 10 a running back has scored in each game against them this season and i think the public is going to see this game and either a there's not going to get invested from a prop standpoint because they're going to think giants uh saints don't really want to go there or they're going to see hey the saints defense terrible against running backs let's fire up scadaboo for an anytime touchdown i think though the sharp money should be on naji to find peter at four to one here and if you want to go real dgen with me uh 20 to one on the first touchdown score as well for naji harris so a same game just a little bit different of an angle but i do think a running back falls in the end zone for new york and i do think it's going to be naji harris this
Speaker 4week i think the value is definitely there for him at those listed odds we'll see if there's any punishment for him in the scadaboo after he lost that fumble last week in the tie against the commanders now naji harris has also fumbled this year and doesn't seem like he's been punished so probably be still a mix of some sorts especially if the giants try to use more of the ground game against a very very bad saints run
Speaker 3defense yeah and uh i got a little parlay of the week for you as well andrew what happens in vegas parlay of the week at plus 190 odds because they say what happens in vegas stays in vegas and that's a couple things those will come back with you folks but in leg one here the buffalo bills versus the raiders i'm taking the over it was my best bet of the week 53 points minus 109 odds and in leg two give me kurt cousins here over 239 and a half passing yards at minus 115 odds again put that together that's going to give you a plus 190 and like if i think they're going to be points in this bills raiders game i also have to think that kurt disler is going to be taking care of some business out there this guy is balling right now i'm talking about playing some of the best football that we've probably seen him play since minnesota right and he has hit this line in four straight games averaging 285 yards in the three games with brock bowers in the lineup as well and the bills have allowed the second most passing yards this season 295.8 yards per game every quarterback has hit their over prop against the bills and four out of five of them have hit this specific number the only one who didn't was justin herbert in that broken chargers offense so i'm going to go ahead and think that the raiders with their pace of play with the volume that kurt cousins is seeing right now uh 10th most attempts per game this season 35 of them i think there's a ton of meat on the bone for cousins to hit this mark and for us to get this two-legger to the window so andrew erickson there you go a little parlay of the week what happens in vegas have you been out to vegas
Speaker 4before yes i've been to vegas multiple times one for a fantasy pros work okay trip we had one in vegas a couple years ago and then i went much earlier to vegas in my career i guess the way to say it i was going to one of these conferences before i was an industry person i went to one of the fsgas out there because i was trying to network man work the phones rub some elbows or whatever however the phrase is to try to kiss little baby shake some hands oh yeah yeah yeah shake shake no no not shaking kissing babies shaking hands whatever the phrase is uh but yeah no vegas is always a fun time
Speaker 3yeah i i agree with you there hopefully the the
Speaker 4bills aren't having too much fun out there because i know they stayed after the rams game they're like right hopefully we don't get distracted so if the uh if the bills come out flat we know why but they'll turn around in the fourth quarter
Speaker 3so yeah well i can you you gotta be a menace in vegas man i i've seen you what you're like down on bourbon street in new orleans singing the song getting the drake mage hands going i can't imagine what you're doing out there in vegas my friend good times good times also good times right here on the program because it's time for our polymarket predictions of the week let's take a look at some of the nfl markets on polymarket and tell you where we stand andrew where are you going for your polymarket prediction of week
Speaker 4six my polymarket prediction for week six los angeles chargers at the kansas city chiefs under 42 and a half trading at 52 each of the chiefs last 10 home games against afc west teams has gone under the projected total the chargers are one in five towards the total in their last six games andy reed off a bye week since 2018 has a record of just three and ten towards the projected game total over the chiefs are tied with the vikings and bears for the lowest under hit rate 66 since the start of 2014 at home just two and nine towards the over at home since the start of last season and to tie a bow on it the chargers on the road since 2024 7 13 and one towards the total that's 35 the second worst mark since 2025 just three seven and one towards the over so every single trend that you can find points to this game totally underwhelming so slam another under here from
Speaker 3the undertaker okay all right andrew doubling down and trying to make some of his initial pre-season investment back on the chargers by fading them with his polymarket prediction of the week for me give me blake quorum over nine and a half rush attempts this is trading at 55 right now and i don't think anyone would argue that blake quorum has not looked good this season right this is a guy who's averaging 4.8 yards per carry and he's about to actually break his current record of four and a half yards per carry and he's about to actually break his current career high in receptions for the season this week right i mean he's been used a lot more in the receiving game the issue is in the run game he's just not seeing the opportunity i think we all expected and i think part of that is because the rams have been in much more negative game scripts and i think anyone was expecting coming into the season right they've had to pretty much chase and play comeback every single match up here the one time they didn't though that was the giants in week two where we saw blake quorum old blake the snake get 12 carries and took them for 79 yards so i expect something very similar this week against the cardinals who've seen the most running back carries on the season 26.4 per game kyron williams already at 103 touches this season he's on pace for 350 that's six off his career high we gotta lighten that load i think if i'm sean mcveigh and i'm trying to get to a super bowl here so i think that starts with a team that the quorum has had really really good uh you know history against last year he averaged 12.5 carries and 93.5 rushing yards against them last season so let's go ahead i think there's a ladder opportunity here with quorum take the carries take the rushing yards ladder those up if you would like but i'm specifically locking him in here for over nine and a half rushing attempts for my polymarket prediction of the week trading at 55 and folks those are our polymarket predictions of the week and if you want to make your own predictions don't forget you can sign up at polymarket.us with the promo code fp pod again that's promo code fp pod deposit ten dollars and receive a twenty five dollar bonus on your first trade and erickson let's get out of here with our full cards recap what do you have for us here in week number six so
Speaker 4i've got the carolina panthers against the spread laying one and a half points at the philadelphia eagles i've got the chargers and the chiefs going under 43 points 42 and a half points on the polymarket prediction side the cleveland browns catching five and a half points at home against the baltimore ravens and of course you gotta sprinkle a little bit on the browns money line because that's what we do with our underdogs every single time and we're going to be doing that every single time and we're going to be doing that every single time new orleans saints and the new york giants going over 44 points and then like i said my polymarket prediction of the week chargers at chiefs under 42 and a half points trading at 52 i love it
Speaker 3man for me i got the bills raiders over 53 points at minus 109 odds a long shot special of the week nausea anytime touchdown four to one what happens in vegas parlay of the week plus 190 odds the bills and the raiders over that 53 mark kirk cousins getting in on the action over 239 points and we're going to be doing that every single time and we're going to be doing that nine and a half passing. yards, and then my polymarket prediction of the week, Blake the Snake Corum, former Michigan Wolverine, over nine and a half rush attempts, trading at 55%.
