NFL Week 3 Recap + Week 4 Lookahead

The recap analyzes several NFL games, focusing on key performances, turnovers, and team dynamics. The Buffalo-Chargers game emphasizes how five turnovers cost Buffalo despite strong defensive play, while the Chargers’ inability to convert third downs highlights their inconsistency. Seattle’s loss to Washington is attributed to poor coaching, a lackluster run game, and defensive breakdowns, raising concerns about their ability to recover in upcoming games. Cleveland’s win over Carolina is seen as a sign of potential growth, bolstered by new quarterback Watson and young talent, though their offensive depth remains questionable. Miami’s resilient performance against Kansas City—despite a low score—suggests confidence and momentum that could carry into their matchup against Minnesota. The Arizona vs. San Francisco game is viewed as a balanced, competitive contest with high offensive output, supported by both teams’ offensive strengths. The Texans’ poor performance, including a lack of offensive production and defensive lapses, indicates a fragile team foundation. Overall, the analysis underscores the importance of coaching decisions, turnover management, and team resilience in determining outcomes. Several matchups, such as the Miami vs. Minnesota and Arizona vs. San Francisco, show promise for future betting opportunities due to team momentum and performance gaps. The tone remains cautious, noting that while some teams show signs of improvement, others display deep flaws that could impact future results.

SleepyJay here. Freaking.com. Myself. Uncle Dave. Myself. Buffalo overall, I thought the defense looked a little bit shaky. The offense was cruising, but the issue was that they just consistently turned the ball over. I'm looking at the final score and asking myself, "What's real with both of these teams?" Well, Buffalo put up 24 and they turned it over five times in the game. They probably could have got the 35-37 points without issue and I think the charges, if you take away some of the bone headed plays, they probably get some more points as well. But how many of those turnovers actually helped them get some points? But when I looked at the game, I thought the charges actually played quite well. It was just these lapses and judgment that really just cost them. They played tough. I'll give the charges credit. I mean, they are only 3 and 3. I'm not looking at them like they're an 0 and 3 team, especially after watching them go into Buffalo and playing. I guess you could say quite well, but Buffalo probably should end up covering this game by a little bit more, just based on the fact that they had five turnovers in that game. But you're probably going to hear a lot of people there. If you hear this, just turn the station that the charges played even with this build team. They didn't. Yardage wise, yeah. Buffalo outgained them by two yards, but Buffalo also gave the charges four extra possessions in the game. I don't want to say it wasn't close. It was relatively close because of all the turnovers, but I think if you wipe that out, Buffalo probably wins this game comfortably, and maybe there's even more head scratching type of a place coming from Herbert. He didn't look terrible, but he just didn't make the right play when he needed to. That's what I saw from that game there. James Cook had a good game, DJ Moore had a good game. Buffalo looked good, but the five turnovers made this game look closer than it probably should have been. Yeah. I mean, I would agree with you. If I'm looking at that game, Buffalo wins with five turnovers, but I guess Bond isn't the right word. They won and covered not that covering really matters. I'm talking about with their C game. I think that's the difference in these. If you can win a game losing the turnover battle by four, that says a lot. And I think what says a lot is Buffalo made the plays when they needed to, and the charges didn't. Buffalo, two for two on fourth downs, converted half their third downs while the charges were six for 15 on third downs. So, whenever you get a Buffalo also had 10 penalties. So, I mean, if you can play that badly, 10 penalties and five turnovers, and still win by more than a touchdown, I think that's the discrepancy between those teams. Look at how that plays into next week. And I already mentioned it. Buffalo might have been dreaming a little bit about a division game next week. I was also not ideal weather. A little damp there in Buffalo. I don't know. I didn't watch the game live. I don't know how much that played into it. But certainly a lot, certainly some. So, how does that play into next week for the charges? Well, people are going to look at that. They play Seattle, right? And I believe they're six and a half right now. And of course, everybody's on Seattle. In Seattle's, you know, a little pinchy actually losing to Washington. A lot of travel for Seattle. So, you know, maybe the charges have some value with six and a half, maybe seven next week on the road against Seattle. I mean, there's probably no worse team to play than a desperate team, right? And the charges are a desperate team. So, you know, I think, I think they kind of got away with one yesterday. I think Buffalo just made the plays when it mattered to the charges didn't. That's the difference between a good team and a mediocre team. But, you know, I wouldn't throw the charges down to the bus next week at Seattle. Sleepy, I just feel like after I watched that game there, that there were so many missed opportunities for the chargers to go out there and win that game because they were playing tough and they were in the game because of all the turnovers that Buffalo, like Buffalo was trying to hand him that game on a silver platter. And the chargers just, they just did not convert when they needed to. So, I just, I don't want to call it like a early season dream crusher, but just the simple fact that, you know, you had a chance to turn your season around against a team like Buffalo. Get your first win. Maybe shake off those, you know, first two losses. Maybe you have something to kind of believe in, but now you're only three. You got to go to Seattle. We know Seattle's going to be desperate here coming off of the loss. If this, if it get, if kind of that game gets away a little bit from the chargers, I worry that, that they really just deflate in the second half of that game. So there's a chance I might take a look at, maybe like a live second half wager there on Seattle, just depending on how that game plays out. Let's talk Seattle there, Uncle Dave. I watched that game yesterday. I watched basically that whole entire game because my buddy ended up having Seattle as his survivor pick. And I tried to tell him, I'm like, I'm telling you, taking road teams is tough. Double digit road favorites. I can stand behind, but not, you know, anything less than to touch down. It just, it's too scary and he didn't want to hear it. So I had to basically hear him screaming and yelling at the, at the TV set for the entire game. So the commanders get to win their 33 31. Like I said, they're okay. They've have watched basically that whole game. Here's the question we need to ask ourselves. How much of a downgrade is Marioda from Daniels? Is it three points? Is it four points, five point six points? I think a lot of people are going to debate it. From what I saw yesterday, I don't think it's any more than three. It's got to be like two and a half or three at best. The, the commanders offense actually looked pretty good there yesterday. McCormick was actually involved. Marioda was delivering the ball, delivering on time. The offensive line played quite well there for, for Washington. My concern here is actually with, with Seattle, how do you give up 33 points in a game where that game probably should have never have gone over pre snap because the weather was sloppy. It was windy. There's a noreaster going on on the east coast. So I don't know how they end up scoring 66 points, but I do know how they scored all those points in that game. At least from, you know, Washington standpoint is exactly what we were just talking about, you know, with the chargers failing to convert. Well, Washington did that all game long. That Seattle secondary did not look good yesterday. They looked at a sink. They looked lost in the middle of the field. They were getting, they were getting gashed. So I worry a little bit about Seattle being salty going back home. We were just talking about and maybe trying to take it out in the chargers. We know that Darnell just came back from injury. He looked a little rusty, but one of the things I really took out of that Seattle game is, you know, why put yourself in a position to lose? And I really think that that's what Seattle did. Running back to Darion, Prince hands up, fumbling the football there. Uncle Dave early in the game. And they literally like sat him out, like the rest of the first quarter, the entire second quarter, he didn't see him until the third quarter. And there was a portion of the game. And I want to say maybe it was, maybe it was like the entire second quarter. Maybe it was the entire third quarter. It was somewhere, and it was one of those quarters where JSN wasn't even being targeted. And I don't know, they just seem to get cute and go away from, you know, they're starting running back their best football player. And I think that that's kind of what put Seattle behind in that game. We're just not able to go ahead and really catch up and take a lead. But they did eventually go ahead and catch up. And that was when they used JSN and when they used price. But overall Seattle defensive lead in looked good. Washington looked really good. I think the score at 3331. I think that that's real. I think that that's exactly what I saw there yesterday. Don't know if I have any concerns for, for Donald. But I kind of, I'm kind of glad we're talking about these games in New York that we are because I will, I will be looking at Seattle there next week. Uncle Dave in that second half. Maybe even for the game, it depends on, you know, what I think there'll be a pretty good teaser option probably. They're going to be salty and pissed off at home that they played the way that they played. But give credit to Mario to played really, really well. And I would just, you know, kind of when you're going and looking at the games, ask yourself, you know, how much of a downgrade is, you know, Mario to from Daniels. I honestly think it's probably less than three, maybe two and a half points. So that's kind of what I saw there, Uncle Dave. Unfortunately, people who took Seattle got mocked at a survivor. I'm just glad I wasn't one of them. Yeah, I was thinking of that yesterday, but I think a lot of the survivor pools were down to, down to 35% and after that game, I'm sure they're a whole lot lower. I mean, I guess, you know, I look at that game. I mean, Seattle had over 200 yards more offense, right? And if you look at the adjusted score, it's not close. I mean, the adjusted score would show that that was, I think, feel that I know? That's evening out to EPA, right? It would have been COX 28/17. So you and I see things a little bit differently there. I mean, Washington had a plus 18.8 EPA on the three Seattle giveaways. So, you know, I'm thinking, you know, Donald's rusty, whatever they got to travel to these, cause they're playing in the early window. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they kind of forget with Mario. I mean, I think they kind of, Seattle kind of look at that game. Like the bills did against the charges. It's just, okay, let's just check this box and move on. And obviously the bills got away with it. Seattle did not. So, you know, I am with you, however, that I don't think the drop off to Mario is that huge. I mean, I didn't think so before the game. I don't know that I would have taken Washington, but I know that I wouldn't have taken Seattle minus more than a touchdown on the East Coast against anybody. I'm not high on Seattle for the simple fact that, you know, Super Bowl hangover. I mean, they, you know, they lost Kenneth Walker then they got the Super Bowl hangover. So, you know, I'm not sure. I'm not sure I'm with you on Seattle next week. I could be on the over next week, knowing that, you know, the Seattle Defense looked a little, a little slimy yesterday against Mariona. I would say her, it's probably an upgrade. But, you know, take Tana McClaren off of Washington and they aren't even close to that game. So, I'm going to say, I'm going to say that, you know, Washington isn't as good as they were looked yesterday, perhaps. And again, you know, it's the team that makes the plays at that right time. And Seattle didn't. And Washington did with those turnover. So, I don't know, going into next week, I would be looking at the over in that game between Seattle and the Chargers for some reason. I mean, it would be, I think for one thing, it would be almost too easy to look at the under. But I also think it's going to come down to coaching and hear a new response, you know. The Chargers are one of those teams. I mean, you mentioned their season blow and up and, you know, and why wouldn't it, right? They're all in three. But moreover, the Chiefs and the Raiders are both three, you know, in their own division, the Broncos are two and one after beating the Rams last night. So, yeah, the Chargers, you know, they only scored 44 points in those three games. So, yeah, I think it's problematic. So as I talk that through, you know, if they can only score 44 points in three games, now they go against a pissed off Seattle team. Maybe Seattle is the right side next week, Sleepy. - I guess we'll, you know, we'll have to look at that game a little bit deeper as we go ahead and we work our way through this week here. But, you know, you were just talking about coaching and that's kind of the thing that I saw with Seattle there yesterday. The coaching wasn't necessarily all that great. They only ran the ball for 44 yards yesterday. Like, why are you taking your starting running back out of the game after you fumbles? Like, I get it. Sit him for a series. You don't sit the guy for two quarters. I mean, that just, that didn't help. All their yards came from Donald. I mean, he had 379 yards passing. And, you know, they had three turnovers in the game. So, I just felt like Seattle, like as I was watching the game, you know, they could have managed to go ahead and just do things a little bit better, a little bit smarter. But like, I'm not gonna back off, you know, talking about Mario and Washington. Like, they made the plays Uncle Dave when they needed to make the plays, that entire game. You don't put up 33 points on Seattle anywhere, especially in, you know, a damp setting with the backup quarterback. And, you know, I don't think a lot of people think the commanders are all that great. But, I mean, they went out there and they did their thing. So, I think the score was right. I think Seattle could have played better. I certainly do. I don't think Seattle would have covered the game. The defense just didn't play well. So, you know, we'll see on, you know, what these teams look like there next week. Let's go ahead Uncle Dave and talk about, how about the show on Watson? Yes, I don't know if you guys saw that game, the Cleveland Browns and the Carolina Panthers. Cleveland, I'm losing the 201. Watson ends up working straight in a drive there late in the game, ends up giving, you know, Cleveland a lead in that game, 21 to 18. They end up converting a two point conversion to go ahead and, you know, prevent Carolina from maybe, you know, kicking a field once and then that one in the overtime. But the Cleveland defense played pretty good there yesterday, Uncle Dave. It wasn't really anything outside of average for the Cleveland offense. I really credit the Cleveland defense. They were getting after Bryce Jung, turned him over a couple of times in that game. I think more than anything what I took from that game, Uncle Dave, is that Cleveland actually has something to believe in. And I don't want to say that they're, you know, a worse than average team. I know a lot of people think that they're like the second worst team in the league. I'm telling you that they're not that bad. They have guys that can make plays. It really comes down to if Watson can win you the game or is he going to lose you the game? And I really think that yesterday, he didn't play really any better than average. He just kind of went out there and managed to go ahead and, you know, squeeze and win out there. So maybe look at Cleveland and some of these games where they're not going up against powerhouse teams, that, you know, we're going to give Watson a lot of a lot of the issue. I don't know, I mean, that's kind of what I saw. I thought Cleveland played pretty well. I thought Caroline had fought tough to stay in that game, but I didn't really take anything away from both teams that like makes me want to really smile after that game, but that's kind of what I saw. Probably confidence for Watson more than anything, and the fact that, you know, he went into Cleveland, he didn't get blue, he ended up winning the game, you know, move on the next week and see what happens. So that's kind of what I don't know if you watch that game though, but that's kind of what I saw. I felt like the squad was-- - Why would I watch the Browns? Why would I watch the Browns and the Panthers leave me? I mean, yeah, I mean, what kind of surprise me there a little bit was that young through the ball, 48 times, I mean, they are just not going to win with that happening. And what also surprised me, McMillan, you know, two catches on five targets for 17 yards. I mean, that's like Asunaim. You know, I think T-Max, one of the top, you know, six or eight receivers in the league. And, you know, if you look at it, you know, the Cleveland receiving core, you know, their top three receivers were Bryson, Tremaine, Darren Waller, and Tommy Tremel. So I think that's problematic. So I'm kind of, I'm kind of thinking that the Panthers probably are regressing to what they were. And I don't think, I mean, Cleveland can have all the reason for optimism that they want, but, you know, watch in 16 to 30, 144 yards and you win the game. That is only going to happen against a team like Carolina. So I don't, I don't take a whole lot from that game. And, you know, look at, you know, look at, look at Watson's receivers. Fan and Denzel Bosnian and Rain Sanders. I mean, I don't know, I guess in hindsight, why I didn't just bet my mortgage on the under, right? I mean, and going forward, you know, I mean, I can't take much from that game like period. I mean, it was kind of, I don't think Cleveland, I think there's cause for optimism, but I don't think that they're really that good. I think, you know, I guess, I guess I, I don't want to, I don't want to sort of piss off any Browns fans, but yeah, I think they peak sleepy. You know, I think, I think both teams have a buy coming up, which is a little early, if I'm not mistaken, coming in, I don't know, Carolina plays at Detroit, Detroit plays at Carolina. And a little interesting there, Detroit, they're only minus three and a half, three, three and a half, I would probably be tempted to take Detroit. I mean, bright, I just, I, I, I, all I did was sort of downgrade Carolina and I can't upgrade Cleveland for that win. I mean, that was, that was just almost by default, which, you know, which team won, it's a lose less, I think was gonna win that game. So yeah, I mean, that was kind of a, kind of a non-game for me, if you will. - You mentioned one word there, Uncle Dave, and it was the word peaked, and you felt like maybe, Cleveland kind of peaked in that game. I would disagree a little bit with that. I mean, I understand, like, they're not good. - Well, like, do not hear what I am not saying. I'm talking they peaked for the season. I mean, I don't think their upside is much better than it was yesterday. - I don't know if I agree with that. I just feel like there's confidence with Cleveland. Like, let's not forget, like, they have to play their first two games on the road. It looked pretty bad after week one. Now you come back home, you won, you know, the week prior. I feel like Cleveland is, like, they're gonna be a little pesky. Maybe against a good team, and maybe that's their peak. But I feel like you're still gonna, you're going to get a couple efforts out of that team Um, that would surprise you that that's kind of what I will say. And if that's their peak and then, you know, great. Hey, I mean, that's that's as good as you're going to get. Um, but I'm not expecting them to, you know, do anything fantastic. But it's a Cleveland's not a team that I'm looking to sell because it's a team that I thought that would grow, um, because I have a lot of young players. They got Denzel Boston conception and they got Judkins, you know, they got a new quarterback in Watson, who didn't play. So I feel like there's growth there with that team. And maybe there's a little bit of confidence. And hey, I mean, you know, Watson's been up against it. Like he was getting booed as his own stadium. So I feel like Cleveland probably, you know, they'll have a couple, uh, a couple of games this year at their uncle Dave, where they'll probably peak a little bit and, uh, well, let me ask you this. Uh, I misspoke on electric Cleveland schedule. They play Thursday. I got home against the Steelers and I guess I give them a reasonable chance to win that game, but are you, are you excited for, for prime video browns at Steelers? Steelers at Browns Thursday night? I mean, come on, sleepy. You know, I'm actually excited for that game. And, and let me tell you why and let's just go right into the next game. Let's talk about Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. So I, that was a game that I caught a lot of yesterday. Um, I like the Bengals there, Uncle Dave. I jumped on them as soon as I saw the line in minus two and a half. Quickly goes to three, three and a half. Um, I don't know what to say about that game outside of boy. I really believe that the, uh, that the Bengals defense was much better than it was last year. But there were just a lot of, uh, those mental lapses that I saw there last year, where dudes were just running wide open. And, um, you know, Roger, Rogers doesn't have wheels like he used to. Uh, he took off and scrambled through a nice run. Had a couple of passes that were just, you know, on the money where guys were kind of wide open. Um, Burl was a little bit under distress. Um, good tackling from Pittsburgh. I'll, I'll, I'll say that overall. I didn't like the Pittsburgh defense. I felt like Cincinnati was able to kind of do what they wanted with Higgins and Chase. These teams are offensively actually looked quite well yesterday. Neither of them look good defensively. But, uh, you know, going to Thursday night football, they're uncle. They've like, I don't believe that that Pittsburgh offense is as good as it was yesterday against, uh, Cincinnati. I just don't, I don't think it's that good. That's one of the reasons why I faded them. I didn't think Rogers can be able to go ahead and keep up with, with Burl. So I do worry about Pittsburgh on the road against Cleveland. Like I said, maybe this is a game where they peak and everybody's like, oh, and we start believing in Cleveland. Maybe they win the game and then maybe we actually see, oh, hey, you know, they're not that good. Um, they got lucky and got the play in a bad Pittsburgh offense, which I don't, I really don't think it's all that great. So I would look at Cleveland and that came their uncle. They've, I think at some point you got to buy some of the bad teams. And I, I feel like maybe that's a time to go ahead and just buy Cleveland. I don't know what the line is. I'm guessing Pittsburgh's probably a favorite of maybe two and a half, three points. That would, that would be my guess. Um, but I will, I will say this Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati and Cincinnati beat themselves. Um, that's, that's the easy way for me to, to say it. Um, offensively both teams look good. I think the score was right. I really wish Cincinnati would have covered that game. But I thought they were going to win and go through and know. But it's tough with division games, but I did, I don't believe what I saw from the Pittsburgh offense. I know there's no way they could sustain that, um, you know, week after week. It's just that offense isn't built for what they looked like yesterday. And probably, I would, I would be inclined to agree with you. I mean, you probably would have made a small fortune if you took the gas on. Whether the Steelers would have over 400 yards of total offense against anyone a year after what we saw the first two weeks, but they did have 400 yards of offense and they ran the ball for a buck 38. So, I mean, seven yards per play, that's, that's a lot. I mean, do you, do you downgrade the Bengals defense? I mean, I know the Bengals didn't have one last year. They made a lot of changes and they looked reasonably good. The first couple of weeks, but, you know, which Bengals, I mean, you're right. The, the, the, the Bengals offense did, uh, what they needed to do. I mean, borrow look pretty good. Um, what do you have? No, no picks, three touchdowns, 280 to yards, 28 to 37. Um, and to me, what, what was even better than that? He spread the ball around a lot. I mean, it wasn't, T, you know, Chase had his, Chase and Higgins had theirs, but, you know, Kentucky Myers, Hudson, Chase Brown, they all had some catches too. So it wasn't just the one guy, um, you know, but they let Jaylen Warren rest for a buck 27. I mean, that's, you know, I guess going into Cleveland, I would have to say Cleveland has a better defense than, than perhaps do the, uh, do the Bengals right now, at least if you're, if you're just going to react from, from yesterday and you're right, Cleveland has a bunch of confidence. I don't think I have any talent, but, uh, I don't, you know, that, that's, uh, I'm not going to get off bashing the Browns, uh, bandwagon, that's just me. Uh, but I do think that Browns would probably be live because, uh, you know, I'm like you, I don't believe what I saw from the Steelers yesterday. I, I think that was probably a product of, you know, it's a division game. And, um, you know, you got to realize that the Steelers were, were, uh, you know, probably a pretty desperate team. I didn't want to go one and two and, and, and have to play the schedule and, you know, like, the Rogers played better than, I think Rogers, anybody thought Rogers would, and that was the difference in the game, if you're asking me. I felt like Pittsburgh had a good game plan, and they stuck to it. Um, it's, I don't want to say like the, uh, the execution was on point, but it felt like when there was a particular play that, uh, that needed to be called or that needed to be made, like they were able to go ahead and execute that. Yeah, there were some, you know, Aaron throws and things like that, a couple of sacks or whatever, but it felt like Pittsburgh just, they kind of just had their head in the game all game long. And the bank was kind of didn't, like I said, they kind of beat themselves here. So they had a couple of bad families, a couple of turnovers as well. So, um, I, I feel, I don't want to say it's a, it's a, the, the scores right. But I feel like Pittsburgh overplayed themselves here and, and maybe that's going to offer us a little bit of value there, um, you know, going into next week. So we'll see, you know, with the, how you, how you feeling about the bangles in Jacksonville next week? I mean, right now, since the night he's at home, about minus two and a half, but, um, I'm, I'm seeing, I'm seeing some jaguars money coming on. I'm, I'm looking at that game. There's a potential over game. Uh, now I haven't done the work. I don't know what the weather's going to look like there. But, uh, I'm, I'm, uh, I'm not a verse to taking Jacksonville there. I mean, I think Jacksonville's defense is legitimate. And the other way you're going to win on the road and the NFL is to have a defense. I kind of looked at that game briefly there, Uncle Dave. I saw the total was at like 50 and a half, um, that was this morning. Really, I haven't put much thought into it. I think I'm just a little salty. The fact that the bangles ended up losing that game. But it's just your, it's just your week three Monday hanging over from football. Uh, a little bit, um, I'm, I'm not going to say that the, the jaguars in it go out and play, you know, play their game. I don't know. I, maybe the lines right. I don't know. I saw it was, uh, the bangles minus two and a half. So I mean, if they beat themselves, I'm not going to beat Jacksonville. I mean, you have to play good football to be, you know, good football team. So, um, yeah, I don't know. I just, I'll, I'll look a little bit more into that one. So that our app up that game. I don't know, good day. So let's go ahead and let's move to our next game here. Um, I want to talk about Kansas City and Miami. I'm not sure if you caught, um, much of that, um, did, did you happen to watch any of that game? Yeah, a little bit off and on. Um, I think that I kind of like in that game to, uh, the bills, charges game. I mean, Kansas City one, Kansas City covered. Um, it was in doubt until the fourth quarter. But, you know, I think the chiefs just kind of did what they had to do. I mean, Malik Willis was also the dolphins leading Russia. Um, I, I, I chain is, is, uh, out three carries 17 yards, probably out for a long time. Uh, I'm not, I'm not thinking that, uh, you know, Miami's fortunes in Minnesota are, uh, all that happy next week. But, you know, Minnesota is a 10 point favorite. That may be a stretch, you know, tens enough a lot in the, uh, in the NFL. But, you know, you, you look at, you look at my home's 20 or 24, right? Um, you know, Walker only had 70 yards. I'm thinking that I really am thinking that they just kind of went in and slept walk through that game to be honest with you. So, I mean, you know, you could look at it that the dolphins helped achieve the 24 points. But, uh, I think that if the chiefs point forth more than a, uh, 60% effort, they probably would have won by 40. I mean, it wasn't that close. I mean, it was Malik Willis, uh, or nothing and, and now that they're running back, um, we are not, we, we are probably not taking the 10 point. once next week at Minnesota, but, you know, know, by the same token, you know, Kansas City's got a division game on the road at Vegas, and that's a game I'm looking at. I mean, they're four and a half, five right now. I would be inclined to look at Las Vegas. You know, they kind of, they're kind of the Cleveland Browns with a little more talent on the Cleveland Browns, right? They got some confidence. All right. So here's what I saw yesterday on the David in the Miami game. I saw a Miami team that actually wanted to win the football game yesterday. As far as Kansas City, I think that's where what we have to ask ourselves on what day it is. If what you're saying is right, did they go in there and just give a 60% effort? Did they sleepwalk through the game? Did they, you know, not prepare, not focus just completely overlooked us all from team? I certainly think that that's possible. We know the Kansas City is a good football team. Here's what I saw in the game. Even though H&M went out, now he went out early and they had their backup running back in there. Miami's offense actually looked pretty damn good in that game, surprisingly. And I don't know how the Kansas City defense did not look good. Now, here's the issue. Miami only scored 10 points in that game. They played that game like they probably could have scored 28, but they made some bonehead plays. There were some questionable calls. There was a fourth down. I think it was maybe, I want to say maybe it was around midfield where they should have easily have pundered the football because they were playing good enough on defense. Malik Wilson had a terrible, like he doesn't mind throwing the football deep, but he's not that accurate. Like he's like, you know, he's throwing and hoping kind of things. And I think that those are those are the things that you need to have cleaned up in order to, you know, give yourself a fight and chance, but the Miami defense actually played pretty well there yesterday, even though, you know, maybe the chiefs did take take them a little light. I thought the Miami defense actually played quite well. The KC offensive line didn't play great. Miami was getting getting after my homes, but I'll tell you one of the things that I noticed in that game, I'll go day after after watching it. There was a key part of that game. And I felt like Miami throughout the game was taking a couple gut punches here and it was like, hey, all right, we got to get up and we got to keep fighting. And they seemed like they did that. But my homes was in the, in the end zone. And I think it was like a third and it might have been like third and 16 or some, it was a long, long distance. And one of the Miami guys came in, cracked my homes. My homes goes down, smack the set off the turf and they're like, oh, you drove them, you know, you, you put all your weight on them. It was a good hit. I mean, it was a good football hit. I did not think that they should have thrown the flag on that. Had they not thrown the flag on that, I could tell you right now that the score is not 24 to 10 in the final. More than likely, Miami probably covers the game because that, that play was just a gut punch at this absolutely pissed them off. And I can see me moving the chains and getting away from from harm because Miami would have got the ball back there. So I don't want to take anything away from, you know, what Miami did yesterday. They actually played quite well on offense and defense. And like you said, maybe Kansas City slept walkthrough. You know, if that game's in Kansas City, it's probably a much different story. But what I'm taking out of that is, can see difference and look great. The offensive line didn't look great. And in Miami, they just make too many bone head and plays. I think that that's really where hurts that team. It's not like they, they don't have talent. Like I know that they're not talented. But the guys that they had yesterday, they were out there kind of doing their job. But it was just, it was a, you know, multiple gut punches from, from the homes in Kelsey and Kenneth Walker. And then, you know, you're doing it to yourself. So here's what, why I want to go ahead and talk about. That's there's one of the reasons why I want to talk about this game, though, because you mentioned Minnesota, I would be careful with the Minnesota next week laying all these points. Because Miami has to have confidence after, after what they looked like at home against Kansas City. Like, they have to because that was their best game. Like I feel like that was probably the other B-plus offensive game, their own. If you take away just the lapses and the mistakes, I mean, they were moving the football up and down the field. And Minnesota's got question marks at running back. They got question marks at quarterback. Jefferson was banged up. He didn't come back. I would just be careful, you know, laying the 10 points. I think a lot of people are going to just gravitate to the Vikings and survivor. I'm going to avoid them personally because Miami is going to win the game at some point. And I mean, they could have gave Kansas City a real run for their money yesterday, the way that they were playing. So don't want to take anything away from either of those teams, but I will caution you with laying the points there with Minnesota next week. I don't think I could take Miami. They don't go to just because of the mistakes I saw. It's like, oh, let me just throw it up in a quadruple cover. It's like, what are you doing, dude? Shit like that. He'll probably do that again. And yeah, I don't know. It's kind of what I saw with the Casey Miami game. Yeah, I mean, I agree with you 100% and now you also agree with you 100%. I would be inclined to take the dolphins next week. I mean, it's Kyler Murray, right? I mean, when he played that first game, when he got hurt, he played a couple of series. He looked horrible, right? I mean, what did he do yesterday? 15 for 29 for 168 yards. I mean, it really wasn't a matter of the Vikings. I mean, yes, I guess they did go on the road and win in Tampa Bay. But that was more a matter of, you know, we're seeing the real Tampa Bay, especially on offense. Obviously, without my Gevin's, but, you know, Baker Mayfield, before he gets hurt, 17 to 34, not ideal. So I take away from that, that, you know, the dolphins, maybe they charge the sharp side and that game 100%. I mean, you know, especially, I mean, Mayfield. He's having an MRI today. I don't know that you come back from a dislocated thumb in a week. Oftentimes, that's surgical. So I would definitely be probably on my Emmy next week, if I'm being honest. You know, what happens to the, to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without Baker Mayfield? Well, Jalen Daniels, you know, basically 23-year-old kid never seen the football field out of Kansas or Kansas State, maybe. I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, you know, I think we're seeing a lot of really bad football teams. And I think the Buccaneers might be one of them. And honestly, I think the Vikings might be one of them. I mean, look at it. That's why it's bad as the Vikings have looked, you know, take, take their, take their, their three-year-old record. I mean, they are the most paper three-year-old team in the NFL, and there's no way in L. They should be favored by 10 over anybody anywhere. I think the line was kind of telling to me they're welcome Dave. So you have a team in Miami who gets B. Casey covers a spread. You have a team in Tampa Bay who I think they've lost like the most consecutive games against the spread. And Minnesota goes in there and beats them. Now Minnesota is going home undefeated against a team that has it won, you know, like I just talked about with the ATS stuff. Like it looks really, it looks really bad for Miami, but the line came down. It was at 10 and a half. Now it's at 10 and there are some 9 and a half. So I think the real wise guys are jumping in on Miami at 10 and a half, which I would have loved to get that number, but you know, I didn't, I didn't bet it last night, but I still think Miami at 10, Miami at 10 and a half or 9 and a half is certainly worth the wager. I might actually look to tease that game there Uncle Dave because if that Miami offense that played yesterday against Kansas City goes into Minnesota and they play that there's no way that they're going to end up losing that game by like more than 16 points. It's just not going to happen. I don't think Minnesota could outscore anybody by six. Minnesota may not score 16 points. Right. And a lot of it is what I'm thinking is because Miami has to believe in themselves after what they did to Kansas City. Hey, you held Kansas City to 24 points. I mean, that's that's success in itself. So I think Miami's live next week as a dog to go ahead and cover that number. Maybe look to go ahead and tease them up if you're not feeling comfortable with 9 and a half, but yeah, I think Miami would be the look for me there Uncle Dave personally in that game. I don't know if you really want to touch anything else with the Tampa Bay and Minnesota game, but you know, we are short on time. So let's just go ahead and keep running through some of these games there Uncle Dave. Here's one that I didn't see slept through it. Supposedly it was the NFL game of the year. The Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys. So I ended up taking Dallas and Uncle Dave plus three and a half points. I felt like the wrong team was kind of favorite in that game. I thought that Baltimore would struggle without Zay flowers being healthy. He played. He looked good. Baltimore looked good. They ended up getting that game winning drive there in a walkoff kick, but I didn't see anything outside of just a couple highlights there. Not surprised. They scored all those points and I'm not surprised, I'm not surprised that that Baltimore ended up squeaking it out to be honest with you. So I felt We're all comfortable taking three and a half at the top. that was you know that was a wager that I had to make so I'm glad I did that in one but unfortunately didn't get a real chance to look at the box score didn't get a chance to look at the highlights and I didn't see any of it because I ended up going to sleep there yesterday so that's where I was at. Yeah I mean it was really a case we had the ball last. It might be an old AFL game right I mean I was a little surprised that Dallas was able to put up 400 yards on Baltimore's defense so I'm you know I've kind of been of the mind most of the year and even a lot of last year that Baltimore's defense wasn't the Baltimore defense that we've kind of come to expect and that was never more evident than yesterday I mean Dallas Dallas kind of did what they wanted on offense and it was just the one mistake that was between the two I mean Dallas turned it over once the time of possessing was even almost everything was even across the board it was just that one mistake that cost Dallas I mean it's funny it was big plays right I mean neither team did crap on third downs so it was just the big plays and then and Baltimore made one more of them which was one less of them which was not turning the ball over which was the only reason that they won that game so yeah I don't take a lot from that going forward in the next week and you know I don't even know I think both teams probably have a buy after next week I don't know if we're into the buys already in week four I'm pretty sure they don't they don't start to week five you know Dallas is that Dallas is that Houston and Houston is actually a two and a half point favorite I want nothing to do with that game Baltimore Baltimore was at home to Tennessee minus 11 and a half that's a lot of points to give anybody but yeah I mean I just I look at that Dallas Houston game and and you know you should look pretty pathetic we haven't even talked about that game but their offense was completely non-existent against the cults so that may be a game that you know you have those games when you look at the rotation you can't just not even do it that maybe that game so let's talk about that game I watched a good bit of the the Texans and the cults there here's what I'll say about that game Daniel Jones looks comfortable he should be the starting quarterback of this football team if anybody had any questions he had 235 yards there yesterday did have a late interception there that you know that that kind of hurt the football team but overall I think in these offense actually look pretty good against against this Texans defense the Texas defense their defensive line is good that will Anderson guy he can get after it like that's tough but their secondary yesterday showed uh you know showed that they had some holes in them so you know when I look at the score 1917 I felt like I felt like it was right but I also felt like the Texans offense was fortunate enough to get 17 points because like you said they're uncle they it wasn't good um CJ Stroud and and look I don't know if it's just the fact that Nico Collins isn't isn't in there I think that that's probably a big reason why but they didn't even utilize Dalton Schultz after you know the week he had the week prior I think he had like 14 targets 12 catches or something like that but what I noticed was that there was not a lot of separation with the uh with the Texans wide receivers so Stroud was being rushed around a little bit he was trying to fit it in the windows and it just it just wasn't happening I mean he only had 167 yards because there was just nothing nothing open so I I know they're talking about maybe Nico coming back there next week um I don't know how healthy he'll be I don't like this Texans offense or not to be honest with I think it's uh I think it's pretty pretty shitty to be honest with you and uh like you were saying there they they got to go um play a tough game there next week against Dalton I would take Dallas that's just me because Dallas is going to be able to put up points and you got to you're going to have to keep up with them so I would probably take I would probably take down you got to ask yourself like how how did the Texans feel being 0 and 3 I mean this is one of the teams that a lot of people are talking about is you know winning the division being in the playoffs best defense in the NFL now they're all in three and uh I mean it's a murderer's row for them bills banquets yeah I mean I mean I got my biggest bet of the day was on the cults and obviously um that game came down to being a lot closer than I thought and you know when I looked at the scores of halftime I'm always looking for second half wagers and I think the Texans had like 58 yards of offense and halftime I mean it wasn't a lot so don't don't hold me to that but it wasn't a lot and the cults really dominated that game I mean they they wanted a game they tried to ball over three times to 0 for Houston and they held the ball for 11 more minutes so I think that that last minute win for the cults was was you know it's another one of those games where the final score does and tell you everything and doesn't tell you anything in this game I I think the Texans are in real trouble and even when the cults the Texans have had me go cones they haven't looked great uh and obviously they have a defense uh but um I'm I'm I'm with you on it's probably Dallas next week now any I think they travel to London or somewhere over there to play uh Washington uh and um you know that would be a game actually I don't normally you know a lot of those Sunday morning games are are pretty boring but that might be an interesting game you know you got Washington they can move the ball you got the cults playing a Washington defense that's a little bit suspect um so I know the overseas games tend to stay under but that's a game I'm looking at to go over um you know I mean I mean the the Texans only put up 223 yards total offense so it was all that sort of fourth quarter you know desperation when they were down big that that made that made the box car made the final score look even closer than it really was so you know I'm with you I'm kind of buying the cold sleepy I have Indy too their Uncle Dave I went ahead took two and a half points I thought they should have been favorite in the game so they're taking the two and a half you know wasn't that hard to do um sometimes I asked myself the Uncle Dave because this is what I noticed the Texans looked way better the faster that they went so why not just go fast like white white plate slow when you know that uh you know that you have a defense on their like I don't know sometimes I just asked myself why teams go slow like I think there's a reason why you see up tempo offenses in college football because it really puts so much strain on on the other teams defense and it always seems like you know at the end of the game teams have no problem going hurry up two minute offense and they just they always seem to go ahead and move the ball up and down the field so I don't know maybe that's something that that Houston you know could look at but you know it is what it is I think I think I think that it takes a lot of you know it takes a lot of the thinking out of the quarterback and they can just react and play right um and for a young quarterback especially like Stroud who's had his struggles and you know maybe he's questioning is you know himself a little bit I don't know um but I think you put a quarterback in that situation against the two minute defense they're pointed against a prevent defense but I think any time they go into those hurry up offenses um they can just play with their ability and their athletic ability and their decision-making instead of a quarterback having to read a field they read a progression and go down to third and fourth receivers I mean a lot of quarterbacks just don't have that ability and if you're asking them to do it they they just can't um I have an exposit on that which will save for another podcast all right so let's move on from that game now because they will see you know how the Texans look there next week see if they can go in and get their first win and we'll say this I went in on Munoff I told them that Stroud was getting traded to the Miami dolphins and I didn't get a response back but anyway just to inform you guys Munoff stealing with some sick family members so he's been running around back and forth with the family to urgent care and stuff so he's unable to go and be on the pot I told him I'd go ahead and you know take care of it with with Uncle Dave so hopefully he's back you know on a couple days and he gets everybody fixed up there okay they have Tennessee and the Giants the toilet bowl there for Sunday the Giants go and get the win um I was the smart guy I jumped on the Giants before they played their last game so I laid five and a half points against Tennessee and Jackson Dark goes down now I get stuck with James Winston and of course the Giants end up winning the game and they only win by five so I get hooked there so I get the bad line and I get hooked on top of it these teams are not good they're honest to God they mean they're just not Tennessee's absolutely terrible like how do you only score seven points against the Giants and James Winston is not the answer for for New York it's unfortunate that the Giants end up winning the game because do they stick with Winston because I really thought they probably should have went out there on the market and tried to bring in you know somebody that that could actually help them win I don't think Winston's the answer I That game ends up 12/7, it was, I mean, I had it like Briefly on looking at it, and there was just nothing going on It was an ugly game Tennessee beat themselves. I mean that they're just not a good football team right now I'm not surprised at the giant speedon, but I'm surprised that That they only scored 19 points in that game and I know the weather was you know crappy, but still seven points Tennessee probably should do a little better. So I'm not really taking anything away from both of those that that game Like both teams stink right now. I mean, that's the easy way for me to say it Well, I do like the giant's defense, but you know, you're right about Winston That's you know, I I always think he's got an upside, but I think it got a bigger downside right and you know Just look at this past distribution yesterday. I mean scataboo was their leading receiver from a yard and standpoint neighbors had five catches for 26 yards So, you know that that that just tells me that with Winston they can't move the ball down field And I'm sure Tennessee crowded up their defense because Scataboo 20 20 carries for just 60 yards, you know, three yards of carry. So I think I think the giants are in real trouble And you know, I've never been a cam ward fan. So I'm with you that game, you know, what do I take away from it? You know, I would take away from it that I would be looking at under zone giants games in the in the near future I'm going to go through Uncle Damon watch the highlights of that game just to see if I don't take you about 15 seconds Yeah, but I I just want to see if Tennessee was playing to I don't want to say, you know, win the game, but obviously they were they were playing a win the game But if they were trying to just, you know, not not make mistakes to where, you know, they got beat where they just out there Just playing, you know, waiting for the giants to do some stupid and the market the market is certainly devaluing The giants because they are home underdogs right now to the Arizona Cardinals next week who obviously that's again We're about to talk about but That's that's saying how little faith better is having the giants for sure Yeah, I don't have much faith in in the giant. I don't have much faith in either of those teams, but I don't know. Maybe I'm just a knee-jerk reaction because I didn't get a chance to see much of it to Tennessee seven points because I mean they outplayed they outplayed the giants in that game yardage wise, but he can't turn the football over So let's go let's talk about Arizona San Francisco and their uncle Dave That was my big play yesterday I had the over in that game. I leaned to Arizona. I thought that I thought that these teams could just score points against each other. I like the Arizona offense. I think that I think It could surprise some people if they really can, you know kind of get it together I saw them in week one. They looked actually really good Percent look good getting the ball to everybody. I know Harrison wasn't involved. Jeremiah low was a little bit banged up So I don't think we got the true Arizona offense, but I felt like I got it yesterday in that game against San Francisco and I didn't see San Fran You know not being able to go ahead and score So put up a lot of points in that game. That's kind of what I expected 3630 I felt like hey, maybe if I can get you know mid fifties, I'll look good I mean the total was 47 and a half at a bunch of books 48 48 so I think I grabbed that at 48, but That's exactly what I expected there. I'll go there and I'm not sitting here pounding my chest But that's kind of what I thought because I respectful to those offenses and I think that uh I don't know I it The Arizona defense is not good So like we were just talking about going into next week, you know Is there a chance that they couldn't you know fumble fumble the bag and that defense shows up and doesn't play well But I wasn't that I was not necessarily a big believer in the San Fran defense either And I think a lot of people probably were and that's kind of why why I lean the Arizona there yesterday I felt like San Fran was certainly on upset alert. I played them the week prior in my survivor I wanted to avoid them this week because of division games, you know Sometimes Pittsburgh and Cincinnati happens. So I felt like there was a chance that the Cardinals, you know Ended up upset in San Fran there yesterday, but I'm glad I got the win That's what I expected. I think the score is right It is what it is. What did you see? What do you think? Yeah, I mean I'm I'm a little sad that it looks like that market might be catching up to Arizona I know making a road favorites on these coasts against the giants, but You know, I've always been a percent fan even going back to one new mid in the England. I mean He he doesn't have a downside, right? I mean he doesn't lose games He doesn't make mistakes and you know On the downside, you know, they did give up everyone's defense 8.7 yards per play. I mean that's kind of a lot But on the bright side they did what they had to do, right? They converted half their chart third downs And they held the ball for 38 minutes. So they had a good plan Um, they just, you know, didn't make a you didn't make a stop when they needed to, right? But you know, I'm I'm all about Arizona. I mean unfortunately now kind of everybody is Are they going to blow people out and they're going to look dazzling doing it? No, they're not But they're playing sound football and they're not beating themselves and I've I've said For years that you know, the team that makes the least mistakes is gonna generally gonna win and you know They had a few more penalties. I did have a but they didn't try to ball over and and you know Obviously, I think if you look roster wise talent wise, you know, San Francisco's a much better team But the scores don't always indicate that at the end, right? And it was just Arizona did exactly what Arizona wanted to for the whole game But they held the ball for 38 minutes. I mean you typically win those games But you know San Francisco's talent just kind of overcame at the end But you know, I'd like Arizona going forward and I have since week one when I underestimated them So I just like the fact that they're playing sound football and if they're going to lose you're going to have to beat them because they're not going to beat themselves Yeah, I'm with you Everything you said there. It's kind of kind of the way that I have thought about this team over last couple weeks So I what is that line on the Giants game their uncle Dave is it? I open open open Giants minus one one and a half and it's pick them or Arizona minus one one and a half now I'll take Arizona I'll take Arizona like you're saying to take everything away Winston against Preset Winston's going to make more mistakes in that game, right? It's not like we're laying over three and a half it wouldn't surprise me if that line ends up closing If that line ends up closing like it was on the minus two somewhere in that area So I'll probably go ahead and jump on that. So if you guys go over to pregame.com and pick up any of my picks there You probably might see that one because um I think that's actually probably a good bet early in the week I didn't catch any of the Raider in sink game their uncle Dave um 35 27 in favor of the Raiders New Orleans turned the ball over four times They gave in the fourth quarter alone. Yeah, so um Yeah, I don't know um, I mean it's gonna happen sometimes when you have inexperienced quarterbacks, but Did you see much of that game or not? lose me but now no, I did not um and um I mean the Saints outplayed them, right? The Saints made a lot of good plays. I mean they were the Saints were four for four in the red zone Which is huge right and they but they they did that the Raiders moved the ball And they held the Raiders three for six in the red zone. I mean that's why the game was even close and then you mentioned it You got a lot of youth The Raiders have a the Raiders do have a good defense They made plays like the game You know should the Saints have won probably but again Team that makes the least mistakes is generally gonna win and the Saints had More penalties and more turnovers and you know, that's gonna be costly every time. I don't care who you're playing So You know, I was I was kind of high on the Saints and you know, it's funny that I look at that game Last Sunday And then that was after their early window win and then excuse me the Raiders played late and they looked really good Well, I don't know about that But sure enough everybody jumped on the Saints yesterday. I Just thought it looked too good to be true and you know, I didn't I didn't have a play on that game But I think I would have taken the Raiders just because I think They're playing with confidence and they're not being themselves. So here we go again like a broken record right find the team That's kind of make the least mistakes you're gonna win I probably would have been on the Saints there yesterday Uncle Dave I was looking at them and I think maybe the one thing that probably kept me away from them is the fact that They just don't have that quarterback. They don't have that big signature win. They don't have that That big flashy, you know highlights on ESPN like oh look the Saints are back Had I seen like the headlines and the highlights and you know Maybe just because this I mean and look I'm not throwing Tyler Schrock under the Under the under the chair I'm not throwing Tyler Schuck under the bridge here, but he's got to show me a little bit more for me to believe, and I probably would have believed in him and ended up losing that game yesterday. But yeah, I don't know. The Raiders look pretty good there yesterday. Brock Bowers came back. Very surprised. If you told me that he was going to catch ten passes for over a hundred yards in this first game back, I would have said that you're nuts because how much can you really believe in a guy like Kirk Cousins to go in and get a guy that hasn't, you know, hasn't been on the field to go and kind of do what he did, but they did. So moving on from that game, I think there's only one more or two more games here. We got to talk about and then we'll go ahead and we'll wrap it up. I talk about Denver and the Rams. I like Denver last night getting the points there. Here's my thing with the Rams. The Rams are a good football team. They're going to be tough to be, but they got to be healthy. You got to have Nuku on the field, you got to have Garrett, you got to have Don, you got to have, you know, those guys playing together for, you know, multiple weeks in a row, the Rams are going to be a tough out. No doubt. But I think Denver started out in week one, you know, a little bit rusty and look right. This was a big game for them at home. I know that didn't start out great, but I felt like, you know, Denver kind of got the motor running there last week, got the motor running again later in the game. You got to worry about, you know, the way that Denver's starting these games out, you know, if they can go ahead and continue to rely on their defense or rely on Bo-Nix, they're going to get them back in games and win games. But I was happy that Denver ended up squeezing out a win there. I felt kind of confident in that. I'm not reason any alarm bells on the Rams, and I'm not, you know, all of a sudden buying, buying Denver, but I think both of those teams are going to be as good as they were probably last year, nothing the real, you know, be cautioning about. Yeah, I mean, I think, I think Denver won that game with smoking mirrors. I mean, they got outgained by over 200 yards. But, you know, here we go again. The Rams committed 13 penalties to only five for Denver and lost the, lost the, lost the turnover battle. But again, Denver was three for three in the red zone. The Rams are one for four. So, I mean, how many times do I have to say it? The team that makes the least mistakes is going to win now. That was a little bit egregious. So, you know, I'm not going to upgrade Denver a ton for that win. And I'm not going to downgrade the Rams. I, you know, they put up almost 500 yards of offense on a very good Denver defense. So, you know, what do we do about that going forward? Well, the Rams are in Philadelphia. It's a slight favorites. I think right now we'll have to see how the Eagles fare tonight in Chicago. But I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, Denver is doing exactly what they did last year, right? They're, they're winning ugly. They're not winning with, with style. And, you know, they're at San Francisco next weekend. I think that'll be a very interesting game. I don't have a huge opinion on it yet, but, you know, I, I'm inclined to say that Denver might keep that game closer to a lot of people think what do you think? I'm going to think about that one and look into it. You're probably right. It's just, it's a game that I want to, I want to fully watch the highlights of the Rams in the Bronco game before I really start throwing out any opinions on that one. So, we'll see. All right, okay, so we got, we got four minutes left of recording time. Let's talk jets. Let's talk lions. I had the lions and survivor. I was worried going into that game. I'm worried after the game. I was worried during the game. The lions, yeah, okay, great. You know, they looked okay. They've ended up putting up 31 points against the jets. But, you know, the jets gave them all the, all the trouble that they needed. I never felt like the jets were going to win the game. But I certainly felt like the jets were going to cover. And then there was a brief moment or two where, where I thought the jets potentially could tie the game and end up screwing me out in my survivor pick. So, the jets looked pretty good. They had their tight end, said he can evolve a lot. He played really well. Priest Hall goes down, he ended up only with like 30 yards. So, I mean, they were limited there. But I thought it was a good effort from both teams on the offensive side, not on the defensive side. So, it's kind of what I took away a lot of yards in that game. Not a lot of mistakes to be honest with you. There was only one turnover in the game. So, yeah, I think the scoreboards, right? I think, yeah, 31, 24. I mean, that's what I saw with that game. So, I don't know what you saw, but I would ever. I just saw a lot on the, I'd ever self-sign on that line's defense that that's one thing. I mean, you know, Smith have a game like that against you. You're a, it's problematic. And, you know, it was, again, jets made one more mistake. That fumble that they lost. And that was the big difference. But, you know, I'm also not going to kind of on, you know, Smith go in 31 for 37 next week. But, you know, he needed to take five stacks. So, that's a little problematic. But I don't know that I upgrade or downgrade either team, to be honest with you. I mean, the jets are in Chicago. That might be a win-able game, depending on who's on the center for the, for the Bears. And, and, you know, I don't know what's the trick that next week. I mean, they're at Carolina. And they're only three point favorites. So, that kind of tells you that the market definitely is downgrading the lines as well, sleepy. Yeah, they certainly have. And it's probably warranted to them. So, we'll see. So, that's all the games there for, for week number three went through and tried to talk to all of them. I know that we normally go ahead and preview Monday night football.
