NFC West Preview | The McVay-Shanahan System vs. Macdonald's Defense

Basically, when you look at the NFC West, it is the McVeishanahan on one side and it's McDonald on the other side, right? And he's all by himself versus everybody else and he's won the Super Bowl. Yeah. And so I think like the biggest thing here is it's really about the Rams saying this is probably it from Matthew Stafford. So we're going to double down, we're going to go get Miles Garrett. We're also going to go get both of the corner from the Chiefs, which are not what they're thinking. Right. All of them. We want all of them. Come here. So and then what does the Seahawks look like post Super Bowl? I don't think that this is a back to back Super Bowl winning team, but that's kind of where we're at, right? Like I don't know if they make the playoffs. Yeah, I think the only team that we can safely say is so the only new head coach that was hired was Michael LaFlora who yes, that's LaFlora's brother. New. Yes, is connected to Shanahan and McVeish. So yes, it's all the same, right? So the offenses are all different iterations of the same. Same offense. They're all either named Mike or there's somebody's brother between McDaniel and the ball. And the one that's hard for the Seahawks is the Brian Flurry. Well, he was a run game coordinator for the 49ers. So it's like it's all going to be just different variations of Shanahan or McVeish. I think the one, the one team that we know is just going to be a bit mly bad. I think it's going to be the Cardinals. Right. I don't know if they can surprise like we can go ahead and start talking about them first. I don't know if they are going to surprise. I think people would be surprised to know that defensively, like why did Nick Rollus get kept? Well, defensively, this team was actually middle of the road with that roster. And then with those injuries, it ended up collapsing. But they were still able to stay kind of in that top part of the bottom third. So even with all of that, they're going to run it back. They're going to have pretty much everybody back. They added a few, they added a true nose and Andrew Williams and then Roy Lopez. So they kind of beefed up the inside. I think everybody was excited about Walter Nolan, who was hurt for a part of the year. I think people are just waiting for Josh Sweat to show up. You have the Island of Misfit toys in Zayven Collins and Baron Browning on the other side. We have the weirdest defense in the NFL and it's weird because it has to be. So I don't think it's going to be very good because I think this offense is going to be terrible. And I'll ask this, is boot of Baker still in Arizona Cardinal by the trade deadline? I wouldn't. I'd give rid of them. There's got to be a team that you know, I think we're in an atmosphere right now. I think if you would ask me this last year, I would have been like, no way. But I think that they feel comfortable enough. Now they've lost Jaylen Thompson. If you lose boot of Baker, look, if they trade boot of Baker, they're going all in on the number one day. That's what they're doing. They're going all in on the number one picker. Come on, archmaning. At least to be a top five. No, for real. I really, I really do think if you see boot of Baker go, there's really no reason you're not trying to win any games. Yeah. But the officers don't tank or organizations do and that would be a clear sign of it where like the players they can't afford to go out there and tank and risk their lives, but the organization can say we're not going to put the, we're not going to feel the best team or not outwardly say it. But if you're in that position, the Arizona Cardinals are trying to have to restart everything, just kind of rinse your mouths of the Clif King's very Tyler Murray. Like it's been that long. I mean, even still, they're still kind of dealing with the Josh Rose and Steve Wilkes this year. And so like that's, and it's been almost a decade since then. So like, what are, what are they going to do? Like I mean, Josh Rose is on week 10 now. That's how crazy it is. But it is going to be interesting to see what they can do defensively. But then Jacobi Persezzo, you're starting quarterback going into the season. You're like, all right, our running back is our, our rookie running back is going to be our best player, which might be something because we see running backs come in and be close to all pro level players. But at the same time, you're a 3, 4, 1 team in this position. It's a weird, it's a weird running back for him too. Like you, you draft the Jeremiah Love who I think a lot of people had him is like, he just the number one overall just player in the drive. I know he's still going down. Yeah. You have Tyler Alchier who we know is a thumper at running back. James Conner, people forget only because he played at any big playing in Arizona. That's a thousand yard back. Right. So you have three, three starting running backs. You have Trey McBride who's one of the best tie to ends in the NFL. So what are, what are you going to do? Like we're going to run a bunch of 21 a like with two running back. Well, then someone's going to block for the other guy. Like, what is this going to look like? I don't know. I think the offense is just going to be really bad. I don't. Persezzo did get his guaranteed money. I think it happened literally right before we started the day before we come on here because we record these on Monday. Like, I bet that we see Gardner Mischief play and I bet that Carson Beck finishes the year. I think it'll let me allow like the dolphins. Like, it'll be like, let's give the rookie. But let's just see what we got in the rookie in the last part of the year. It doesn't really matter. But I do, I with you, I will say, and then we'll get off of the, the Cardinals because I think it's like, yeah, whatever. Cardinals. If boot a Baker either gets her or is gone before the trade deadline, they're playing for they're playing for the first pick in the draft. And I think that that's that's probably what they should be doing. Yeah. All right. Let's save the LA Rams for the finale because everybody wants to talk about them. Let's talk about the San Francisco 49ers. Still able to win 12 games last year. Defense had all of the injuries like it does just about every year. But Robert Salaghan now often the Titans as with their head coaching job and was still able to feel the good defense. They made it to the playoffs. They had a quality season. What do you see for like it's just so weird that like for the 49ers every other year that we they're like go to the Super Bowl or go to the NFC championship game when they're fully healthy and then literally the very next year. Everybody's hurt. But this was like a combination of the two years where everybody was hurt, but also they won 12 games and had a quality year. It's just that the Rams and the Seahawks were the two best teams in the NFL all year long. And so it is the this strange position that they are in. So like do they have that fully healthy season next year or do they get hurt again because they're just still getting old because again, they have the same core of guys that they've had since they went to the Super Bowl against the Chiefs the first time basically with Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, George Kittle and Trent. Well, I don't know Trent Williams is there. He's old too and Chris McCaffrey. You're going to lean on him again. And this is a guy that had an injury history before he got to you had one with you and has been good for the last two, three years. But again, he's a running back. It's probably going to be you're waiting. It's a ticking time bomb. And so like what do the 49ers look like because I think this is the biggest question mark for them all year. But I still think they're going to the playoffs because I think they have the I don't know, I think it's the best combination of coach and roster and Brock Curry is just there in the middle. I think that that's he can just work it out. But the 49ers are really interesting because of what they did last year and what their seasons tend to look like with the roller coaster. I think this will be the most anti-shane hand year that we've ever seen. Okay. And I think you let I always follow the money, follow the breadcrums in all season. Okay. You have shane hand going on record during the Super Bowl. The Seahawks, they could play too high on us. We had nothing that we could do. We couldn't do anything. We couldn't attack vertical. They basically packed the middle of the field. When we ran the ball, you know, sure we were successful, but you can't rent. We can't win by just running. He comes out and starts talking about a need to focus more on the passing game. I need to do more in that area. So what do they do? They go and get my captain's. But I think people are not talking enough about Christian Kirk. You went and got a real sloped seabird. Like a real one that got overpaid. You know, remember when there was like a run on slot receivers with the jack orders and they got like 92 million. Yeah, way too much money. But you got a real slot receiver in your not even sure if he can block. When you say that he's a real anti-shane hand year, that's a real indicator. I have this sneaky suspicion that there's going to be, you know, because use check to me, I think is becoming more and more is a tied-in. And so, but he's a blocking tied-in. And I think teams have kind of figured out if you go and you look at the rates that like people play nickel against them against 21 personnel, I think people just were like, look, we don't know where he's going to line up. So like the novelty, the fact that he doesn't line up in the backfield all the time. He's just worn off. People like, I was going to play nickel because we might line him up and then well that kind of exacerbates problems because he's not a really top receiver. He's only really, you're going to throw to him enough to where they might. play zone so it might open up something for somebody else, but you now have Mike Evans who is a legitimate deep threat. I still think even at his age he's a legitimate deep threat. Ricky Pierce saw really came on last year. Christian Kirk is a true slot. I think people are really high on design scribbling who people feel like could be like another kind of Jawan Jennings type at that like 6207 and just kind of that big physical presence in the middle. So offensively I think we're going to see a little bit more emphasis on passing more 11 personnel. I think hey we need to keep Kittle on a hit on a hit count. Right. We need to keep you. For the playoff like there's like a chiefs of Dunville with Travis Kelsey a little bit over the last couple of years. Right, but I think I think look where he Morris coming in work with Ulbrich basically let Ulbrich that defense was more Ulbrich than it was more. So if people are like well this is an interesting hire. Well Morris has worked for McVeigh understands that system has been in the same division as Ebro in in Carolina. So he understands like that that that fan geodefensive structure he understands kind of what they're trying to do kind of mentally on the defensive side. He's going to come in and he's going to run be able to kind of plug himself into this kind of Salah-esque you know defense. You add Osa Odiggi-Zooa from the Cowboys who fit perfectly in this kind of wide-nine jet front get after it. And I think what you see here is the the secondary I think people uptanced out was a plus at Nickel last year I think he's trying to find a lot of people. I think Lenore is still a pretty good corner. Malik Mustafa needs to just like not go face melt on people all the time and stay healthy. Renardo Green is feisty on the outside which they want to play match heavy on the outside anyway. I really like this defense. I also think they got the best key and peel skit player. You have Ephesians Prysac. I was just about to say the names on this team. You got Osa Odiggi-Zooa uptanced out and now Ephesians what what was his name? Ephesians Prysac. Fourth rounder. Good God. The name's on this team. Yeah so it's like hey he's a six three corner two from from Washington. So you got to be excited about that. But you know you get drag Green Law back but I think hey he understands the system. I don't think the language is going to change. I think that you're able to kind of I think getting Keyon White from New England as a rotational piece. You you kind of have these kind of if Nick Bosa is healthy and stays healthy you know he's going to be at least a 12-sat guy we're going to have you know I think Alfred Collins Odiggi-Zooa McHale Williams Keyon White that's you feel more like the 49ers you look at what they were able to do with the lack of talent that they had around them I think hey this this looks really really good and I agree with you I think this is a playoff team I think they're pretty dangerous. Yeah I have pick your favorite name out of the three uptanced out Ephesians or Osa Odiggi-Zooa because oh diggy-Zooa is just fun to say. Yeah it is it's a fun it's a fun name to say and I think I think what we're going to see is does this experiment of moving back to passing help out yeah I think the defense stays pretty much where it is it can be a top 10 defense if everybody stays out. And even does Shanahan revert back like yeah if he gets uncomfortable things aren't working out because of this is this division I mean how weak for the card most pick off a game from because they're going to win three or four games at some point over the course of the season so does he go revert back to like all right just keep giving the ball to Christian and we're going to keep moving on that way. Let's talk about the reigning Super Bowl champions the Seattle Seahawks I'm not the biggest believer in this team I know a lot of people are drawing comparisons to their previous runs of the Super Bowl 10 years ago and they went back to the Super Bowl the very next year and obviously the play with Malcolm Butler happens and they lose but I don't necessarily see that high level of success just because they've lost a lot defensively just a tons of dudes and just off the simple fact of they ran the ball the most out of anybody in the NFL last year and they lost their top running bag it's and I know that they they're going to figure some different things out on top of losing their their elite offensive call play collar to go be a head coach which it's the NFL that's what happens but we haven't necessarily seen Sam Darnold without one of those elite play callers because we saw him with Kevin O'Connell that's what got him to Seattle and made him to put him on our radars as this guy that that has wrote risen like a Phoenix but now we're kind of seeing him where he's the lead now without Kenneth Walker without Clint Kubiak I know that they still have Smith and Jigley who top three receiver in the league if not number one after this last year so what does this team look like especially with their deepness what being their calling card and them losing as many guys as they did yeah because it comes down to Bryant Flore I mean it comes down to how well you know is he ready to be the guy that can piece together the run game in the past game right you know is he going to be an elite play collar can't can he put that together you know or is this going to be one of those grub situations which was the first year that McDonald did lose a hey I can't pick this guy I thought it was gonna work didn't work you know and we're gonna quickly pivot off yeah that's this three off and coordinators in three years for Seattle so like it is just kind of topsy turvy right offensively so I look it's gonna be very much like it was last year Kubiak runs pretty much the same system that the Sheenie and guys do you're losing Kenneth Walker but hey we're adding to Dorian Price right sharpening with really good last year as that second back can he be the premier back or does Jadarian Price kind of move into that number one role and it's like hey we got our we got our Kenneth Walker 2.0 we're not really worried about it Cooper Cups and year older Rashid Shaheed was really more or less just kind of not a gadget guys not really the word use an addition he was gravy on top right but he pushes things vertically yeah so that you can get you know JSN and all these little intermediate routes I think where they're going to hurt is on defense this was a defense that wanted to play a ton of dime last year you lose reap well now a lot of Seahawks fans are like good riddance get rid of them he didn't want to tackle he was kind of a headache he's a corner they never want to tackle he allowed you to move with her spoon inside okay Josh Joe at this point last year was a cut candidate you gave him a big contract what's that going to look like now that he's paid okay you you drafted uh you know you get rid of your safety in Kobe Bryant okay he was a really good post safety all right Tio Kata who I like I think he's really good he's coming in is kind of that replacement Julian love is still there he's pretty good you drafted bud Clark in the second round is he gonna take over for a goddess now we're playing with a a rookie safety but you're not gonna be as multiple on defense as you were this was a defensive wanted to play a ton of nickel with Nick even worth okay that's not going to change but you don't have that dime pivot you can't kick even worry over to the will and drop with a spoon into the nickel anymore so now you're looking at Iggman it Iggmanani who is kind of went from the Cowboys went to the commanders he's a really tall guy he kind of looks like the part but do we really think that he's gonna be that answer do we feel really comfortable in him you look at that you know is me a my a perch it gonna be the guy that is gonna be able to kick with a spoon in is it gonna be Julian Neal who you you drafted in the third round so if you want to play a lot of dime I mean that was a super power last year was the fact that they could just play in sub packages the whole time they didn't have to get into base okay do you have that okay you know look it look it you've biramurphy jaren reed de markis lorant you know Leonard wills the Leonard Williams man that's a really good front four you really heavy handed you know you bring in Dante a fouler okay de markis lorant again is another year older right he's not you know you kind of are not going to necessarily have that rush in part or that same linebacker you know are you gonna be able with nuance who in hall is that rotation gonna be what it was last year you know so I think that there is a lot of what if there's one person who I fully believe in it is Mike McDonald to figure it out but you're just that what made you special last year was the multiplicity and you don't have that multiplicity now and and you're relying on again this is another team that's relying on rookies to either press first starting roles or to step up into those starting roles. You know, you caught fire last year with In the Worre. Are you going to catch fire with Bud Clark this year? Is Tyo Cod are going to be the guy that's going to be able to go down and play nickel? Like, where who's going to play that nickel? Or who's going to play? Yeah, who's going to play corner outside too to put Devon with her spoon back in there? Because let's be honest, whether it wouldn't remind me a lot of McDuffie. He's an elite nickel. He's in above average to good corner. Yeah, yeah. I wonder why the Rams wouldn't got McDuffie then. Let's talk about the LA Rams, which they everything should work out. They have the reigning MVP. Who goes one of the best receivers, if not the best receiver him in Jackson Smith and Juggler in that same category to me of like top three top. Top three top five, maybe number one. I still believe in Justin Jefferson though. That's just me. They have Kyron Williams and Blake Corum who is probably my favorite. Back combination and league outside of Detroit, which mere Gibbs and Isaiah Pacheco. Their defense was good last year. Oh, yeah, let's just add the best defense of player and football on top of the corners that you just mentioned from Kansas City. Cody, tell me why it won't work though because they're going to lose games at some point like one or two. Maybe this year, but tell me why they're not winning. Why is just not going to work out this year is it's going to be the division around them. Obviously injuries. It's the NFL. It's going to it could happen not going wood that it doesn't. But also like what why won't the Rams work out because literally everything is in place. What what's not going to work out? I'm I don't see it. If there's one thing it's this corner experiment. I don't I don't look. I think what you're seeing is a slow pivot back to what Shula knows, which is the Wade Philip system, which is very much movement heavy upfront. You know, past rush reliant upfront simplified in the back end. They rip they want to press the corners. They haven't really been able to do that. You know, they had a manual for abs. It's been really long, but you don't really want him up on top of a receiver. You know, you look at you know cam lampkin is their back up there. Quentin Lake is a good nickel. He's a minute above average nickel. You know, I think the secondary if there's a place of failure, it's going to be in secondary where you've got Jalen Watson and Trent McDuffy who I think we feel good about. Watson I think is I think he's a starter quality corner, but what this looks like to me is they want to press. They want to get after the quarterback. And you can't block miles. So even if their secondary is very good. So not with that front five. And I think if you look at it to like Nate Landman really can't really stepped on. I think you're going to see a lot of penny package. I think you're going to see a lot of five one. I think you get you know, put it forward. I think surprise a lot of people without good. He wasn't knows you have Toby Turner who I think people love as a quick three brain and fist. Who was just an ass kicker right there on top of that that be gap and that tackle spot. And then you you have a Byron young who I don't think gets enough credit. But then he doesn't need to be a 12 sack guy. If you've got miles care and getting 20. So here's here's my thing. You're going five for five right like it's our five guys versus your five guys. You can leave a tight end in there and I have the best one. I know I do. Yes, because all that's going to do. It's changed the math for us on the back end. So what I think this is this is a more talent centric philosophy of what the Vikings have been trying to do. We're hey, we're just going to kill you with past rush. Our secondary doesn't have to be great. We're going to play a lot of zone on the back end. It doesn't. But our past rush is just in our pressure. Well, he looks like we're going to be a little bit more nuanced. I'm only going to rush five maybe four depending on the down, but we're going to play a lot of time. We're going to play a lot of this because I think my front is just going to destroy your guys. And I think to his point, you have Byron young who's a really good. Kind of like a big edge like he's a really good like run defending it. You have mild care to who is like you said. Arguably the best defense player in the national football league right now. You are really. It's a much of an argument that anybody's better than him. Yeah, it's probably not. I'm probably just saying that like it's just like for the one guy in the comments like well actually. He is he's the best defense player right now. I think you can almost if I'm a betting man, I'm betting the over on 20 sacks this year. If not to break the record. He's in a way. People don't understand the way Philip says something the one thing that it is always done is created. Have it go look at the Broncos. That's a way Phillips guy advanced Joseph creating having isolation for premium defensive lineman. I think that's what you get. If this experiment at corner works out. Because we've seen this before you get guys. Maybe the chiefs know something that we don't like they did with leg serious need. I don't know maybe I would say I was just a price tag thing in the case of. I think they're hitting a hard reset on defense. We'll talk about that when we get it there when we we've talked about this between you and me. But I think if they can press outside. They've got they feel good on the inside and in the intermediate and then they know they're going to get the past first because I think we know and everybody stays healthy. That's going to be the key because okay. This sounds really great. But what's it going to come down to it's going to come down to Matthew staffers back exactly. Hang on for one more year can they keep him healthy. You mentioned it. They basically are running it back on offense. They added I think another juice here is Cliff Kingsbury. I think everybody was obsessed with the 13 personnel. That was genius by desperation. They had to run 13 personnel. And then you get halfway this isn't very much of a coaching thing. So if you're not a coach, you probably don't understand this. You've gone half the year playing 40% 13 personnel. You don't just in week nine be like, oh, we got a receivers back. All right. Let's just go ahead and full pivot back to running, you know, 60% 11 personnel. And then you know that 13 personnel goes from 40%. So you're just trying to convey an insane you do. So you're just you're not going to necessarily pivot. Yeah. That's who you were. And you that's and then you start maybe morphing less and less 13 personnel. So you're going, I think this year you really see the 13 personnel. I still think they will lead the league in 13 personnel. But I think what they use 13 personnel for is to really keep the hit count off a pukin of goo and about to have. So what I think is like, hey, we're going to give you a playoff here by running some 13 personnel here's 13 personnel series. This is where we're going. We're going to give you a break. Hey, Devote. We need to we're in the red zone. Oh, pukin. Hey, this is your series to come off. Hey, Devote, you're going to be isolated on 13 personnel. So I think I think offensively it's all going to come down to is Matthew Stafford healthy. And then if my old Garrett stays healthy, they look, they're going to look like Jesus. This is again, this is another move. You go and get you trade for trimming, Duffy, you trade for miles Garrett. If that doesn't scream, we're all in on 2026. I don't know what does the only problem is you're in the toughest division. Probably are you leaving for? Well, and I think on top of that before I get to my hot take, I think it makes the tie Simpson pick at number 13. If they're already working on miles, Garrett trade. Okay, this makes more sense. You're going all in, but you do still have to have a little bit of forecast again because. We're not going to fall off. Like I think that that's the they they don't want to because they don't want McVeigh. And it's so funny because this is the organization that drafted tight Simpson to that piss McVeigh off. But I think let's just let's play scenario. Let's say that the Rams go to the Super Bowl. They win it or they lose it doesn't matter. They go to the Super Bowl. Stafford rides off into the sunset as one of the better quarterbacks of all time. Future Hall of Famer. You don't have McVeigh losing his mind saying, I don't want to go through a rebuild. I'm already too invested in this as is. I don't want to go through the pain of it. I'm going to turn into the next John Madden and just go to TV. I think the Rams were like we're going to protect you and we're going to get you a quarterback who we feel like is a coach's son can come in. I know you're going to get pissed off. It's like one of those were like it's like your parents are like we know your pissed off right now. But then you know, you're from now you're going to thank me that you didn't make this decision right and you do you come back in your later. Mom, Daddy, you were right. I was wrong. I ain't got no kids. I don't know what that's like my mom's always that's where I think that's where I think now that we see the full picture because at the time you have to you have to admit it was wild. Stupid. I think now that we see the full picture. Hey, we're going to give you a defense that's set up to win for the next two, three years. I was guaranteed going anywhere. Trimic Duffy's this is really is what his second contract. You can easily draft a corner and a draft at some point. You know, if the Watson thing doesn't work out, we feel good about defensively working. or we're at, we're pretty much young. We are not gonna have to pay verse. It's gonna be cheaper to pay fish. 'Cause he's now really a premium inside guy. So it's like, we've got you set up for the next five years. So in the drop off, you may have a drop off, but we believe in you because look at what you were able to do with golf. - Exactly. - Right. And then we feel like Simpson can eat and can be that guy. And so I think that's really where we are. And that's really kind of where you can tie the bow in it. I think it's like, look, if they, this Super Bowl or bust, but it's not gonna be a total rebuild if everything crashed in berms at TNC. - Just to unravel that bow real quick, I think they lose the week one to the 49ers in Australia. - Dude, you talk about a game that both teams do not want to play in. - I was gonna unravel that bow real quick. - Go and just do, like even from LA to San Francisco, just go and do that. And I mean, what's crazy is you want to talk about a conspiracy, go look at the San Francisco schedule and where they're like back loaded with the way games. - Yeah. - They're like, hey, you're gonna play in Australia. We're gonna give you a lot of home games early. And then it's like, oh yeah, but we have no home. It's like this school-- - What it matters. - You get all the holidays in the fall. And then you get a spring break and that's it. Hey, we're really happy about all those snow days but they got attacked on at the end of the year. - Yeah, exactly. It's like, dang, this spring semester just goes on forever. - It's because it does. - There's no holidays in April. - And for a team that you know, in injury history, and it just had bad injury luck, and two, a team that is on a coast that has, that look, anytime they go east, it's gonna be tough. Look, that's not great. So yeah, I think like no one wants to play in that Australian game. That's like you talk about, if you've ever talked to anybody that went to the Brazil game. It's like, you can't leave, don't leave the facility. Like, don't, if you're taking a shower, don't let anybody, water get anybody, like you're gonna get it, you know, you're gonna get it explosive diarrhea. - Hey, you get that in America. What are you doing? - Yeah, you can get that going and talk about. Why are we traveling to Brazil? Like, I get the whole deal. Like, we're going to, I think, like even like the London games. Okay, that's great. Like if you're like in New York, that's still a six hour flight. It's a little bit longer than if you fly from New York to like Seattle or New York, and Lades. It's a little bit longer, but I just feel like it's cute, but eventually like the players don't like it. It's not a vacation. People are like, oh, cool, you get to go to London. It's like, no, dude. - I'm at work. Like what are you talking about? - I don't get to leave. Like if I go to a restaurant, it has to literally be within walking distance. Like it can't be like, I'm going to go to the London museum. Like the National, like the UK and Applebee. - Am I going to be a big band? Yeah. - Yeah, I'm going to go to a tour. - I want to run through the Rams first five games real quick. They have that Australia game. They have the Giants, your Broncos in Denver, in Philadelphia, and then the Bills. Do you see, they're the tough first five games. - I think we will know, I think we will know what this experiment is going to work out in that. If there's one guy that I believe that can build, it's going to be, but because you're correct, that's a tough start. And then, especially if we feel like the Eagles are going to be pretty good this year. - I think the feeling of Philly is going to be annoying. - Yes. And I think Denver is not getting enough credit for how good they were last year. And so I think they're going to be better than people think. And so I think like, that's not, yeah, you walk into week six at two and three. And they're going to be able to get my own game. - I think what we will see is that the 49ers start hot, I think the Rams start cold. And then halfway through the year, we see it flip.
