So I'm going to talk about Trans-As later, but for me, like, those two players are now pretty much like senior established best fallbacks. We talked about them potentially being England's fallbacks. We need to get them fit and playing. I think that will release that system of play. I think he was more adaptive when he was in Saudi Arabia, based on the players that he had, but it was more of a kind of diamond field. I don't think we've got the players to be playing that way. So yeah, that's the formation I'd love to see whether he's going to be thinking that he's got the players to execute that from start the season. I'm not so sure. I think you might see more of a kind of 4-3-3. That's what the players are used to. But at the same time, that's kind of frustrating for me that I can see the senior players in preseason that are still here. They just haven't really stepped up. He's talked about a leadership vacuum and it feels like the players that are here. If we are going to start off in a kind of known eddy how type 4-3-3, we really need to see those guys step up and they just haven't so far in preseason. That's probably my biggest concern more than the new side. It's to be honest. It's talked departures, because I think that's relevant to what's happening with the incoming and what may yet still come. So, Anthony Gordon, first out, to Barcelona. Yeah. Good bit of business. I think that's kind of we've been a terrible selling club for a long time. Everyone knew that you wanted to leave. He didn't play in the last seven games of the season. So, it was obvious that that was going to happen. I think getting players out of the league and abroad is our preference. It would be like our right up strategy. I think even at the cost of the Premier League tax, that was a good start to the window happened in the last season cycle happened in June. So, that was encouraging to see that Ross Wilson was able to get a deal over the line and get a player left. So, we haven't played well for the last pretty much since the car ride cut final. You can say that for a few players. He's been pretty disappointed and poor for us. But, good sign in for Barcelona, technically he's what you want from a winger. So, very much like in Vogue, I'd say that type of player, but will he be missed? Depends is the answer. I'd be with all of these. I think it depends, isn't it? Sandra Sonali to Tottenham. You must have seen the quotes about him and talking about the fact that he wanted to go back to Italy and decided that Tottenham was going to be his next club because London was closer. London was closer than London was closer. I mean, the direct flights back to Milan, from Newcastle, I should imagine. My God. That doesn't sum up what one footballers are. Someone that gets a transfer, gets a gambling ban for a year and then, I know all honestly, again, last season started off quite well, but failure towards the end was clear that you kind of like to leave. All I'd say is enjoy the time you've got with him. He's a fantastic footballer, but at some point, like the allure of going back to Milan is probably going to be more important in the money and heal down tools and you'll probably have to sell a massive loss. But good footballer, well, you've got him and I think that's definitely going to help spurs by their way back into top half contention. He's money we've gone for him. Yeah, yeah. From that perspective, great deal for you. We've overpaid, we're going to overpaid for everyone. We buy, I think, he's in up 5.5. You obviously know him very well. Would that be of any consideration to you? No, he's never been in consideration. I think that, I don't know what formation you're going to play, but I imagine probably maybe more to kind of more sitting holding midfielders. Yeah, I think he'll he'll probably play a role similar to how he used Gross quite a bit of Brighton where he'll start his double pivot really deep. They form this kind of box with a center backs to play out. But if it's a heavy man marking from an opponent, then he'll move to an alie a bit higher. That's how I could see it. No, not for me. I think he gets the def cons that you would want for someone else. I guess the most upset in departure is out of Gimrez, who's obviously gone to Arsenal and may have ultimately paid a kind of final moment here in Eddie Howe leaving. There was some speculation. It was like if Gimrez goes, I'm gone. Plus the word that was going around. How big of a loss is he? Because he kind of feels like I think on the outside that he's been the face of this whole period of newcasts over the last few years. I mean, yeah, him and Trippio I think defined that first five years in Eddie Howe's tenure. I mean, he wasn't just like the face of the club. We could barely win a game without him. I think the people that are calling for us as potential relegation candidates is probably for that reason that if he did have a bad injury last year. There's something to be said about his age, the miles on the club, what he's had to do for us as a club and how much he likes kind of Buenos and looks like he's come back a little bit of fact for from his fishing trips. There is something to be said like to be self the right time. I would have preferred that we kept him for he tried to keep him for a year and just sold it at half the value next year and that would have for me pretty much guaranteed us staying up. And I think it would have given us the base that needed to bed in some of these new exciting players which hopefully we'll get chance to talk about. If I was going to summarize Gimrez, I think he's probably the last footballer that I'll ever fall in love with to be honest. Like the fact that he gave it all, gave it the badge kissing, his kids and jollies, won us a cup and all the stuff that he said at the time. I know it's part of his personality but get it footballs that can want to take us to the pool here. 2000, I think, in 2001. 2001, you mean, sorry, yeah, 2021. Four five years ago. So he played that last year for you. That's longer than most good relationships tonight. So in football, yeah. I mean, he's the captain that won us a trophy. So I'll always remember that. I think he'll really get a good reception when he comes back. I think better than Tennale will. That's for sure. Will it be a positive one? I don't know. I think it has ties to his legacy and it, you can't not when you decide to like hire a super agent to get you a move to a permanently rival, but is what it is. I think I feel okay about it until I start seeing him kissing that goon of badge and then. No, it's just gusted, isn't it? Yeah. I don't know how Arsenal page 25 billion treatment and Tennale ended up with a better player, but there you go. That's the way it goes. I'm happy we got Tennale for clarity. You mentioned relegation in the conversation. Can I just ask are you genuinely concerned? I have the course of a full season. No, I think I like the players that we've signed. I do think there is a lot swirl around the club. There always is and I don't think we're done with our transfer business. Hopefully not. I do think we might struggle to start the season though. So I would say in terms of like FPL, like I would I would be targeting you. I want to start the season. I do think we can turn that around. If you look at our opening for fixtures, the results could be anything. I did fancy Liverpool at home first game of the season. I think that's a good time to play them, but it's also a good time to play us I think. So we could conceivably go into Liverpool Spurs, Bournemouth at home, who knows about their new manager, but we always have struggled with them in the past. It's different set of circumstances. The leads are ways looking up in a really tough game. Then we're walking into Holland Coventry and we could be conceivably on to our points by the time those two teams knock up and they might be ahead of us in the league. Let's do fixtures now because I think it's probably, it feels like headline game on the opening we can play in Liverpool. I think you're right. It feels like it could be anything because their short of numbers at the moment as well and obviously also working under a new manager. But as soon as that Liverpool game is out the way, you pretty much jump towards the top of my ticker. Now it's top my way next. Now if it's top my the last two seasons, it's a good fixture. It might be at the moment that it is a more difficult fixture part because the way you're right. But all right, top my way. It's reasonable. It's not going to be scared of. The run after that. Bournemouth at home leads away, whole at home, Coventry away, Villa at home, Palace away, Everton at home, Newcastle, not Newcastle away because that would be you. Fuller my way. I believe so. You definitely, you know, that's the old Steve Howey story when under Ozzy Ardell is when you're playing against the mannequins and went one nil down. That's where I'll look online if you can find it. So the point being is you could make a case that from Game Week 2 to 10, that's off this game. It might be the trip against my team or maybe the trip against Brian. So as soon as that Liverpool games that way, that's a good long sustained run. So I'm certainly aware from a fantasy perspective that it might change in our minds very quickly where we want to look at your assets. Part of why you're going to come on TOTC when you'll grow before you play Bournemouth in Game Week 3 and I'll watch you live in person in Game Week 2 as well. So we want an awareness of that, 'cause it's a good run, aren't it, Si? - Yeah, I mean, I was already coming here and casso, yeah, I'm with Sir, to be honest, after his two goals in Valencia, and we got three, we got three six million strikers, so I mean, it's just too much uncertainty at the moment, and I like that Liverpool fixture. I like it at home. I just need to see something this weekend. If, if, I would almost, I'm looking at Newcastle from a wait and see for the first four, to be honest, so to put the idea of me talking to Neil about our game week three fixture, but I don't like that leads away fixture very much. I think it's an obvious one to look at the game week five when we play how and then, and then commentary, and rotation wise, I think there is a couple of interesting things that open up around that path, like Bristol Palace, if you have a look, they're the spurs actually isn't too bad. So there are teams that you're probably going to avoid in the first two or three weeks of the season, and there's like a block of teams that feels like people that want an early wildcard should look at, and I think Newcastle is an easy one to avoid because the first two games are like a top six, greedy six teams, and then yeah, we'll see, we'll see if we beat Liverpool and look all right, or get a point at spurs, that game week three fixtures, and Bournemouth don't start well, that game week three fixtures starts to look like the entry point for some of our players. - Well, I also think hopefully, it's a subject when we record prior to game week three, transfer window be closed. And I think we'll have a clearer indication on things like who's playing nine, who's playing 10, who's playing left, at the moment, a lot of it obviously does feel very up in the air. I think at least those first two games will give us a clearer indication of that. It might give us some important information on things like Defcon, because I know there's a little bit of a belief that actually your players might do better at that this year as well, but it didn't pretty particularly show up. I don't think in the game against Everton on Wednesday night. But yeah, we wonder when this is a real swing of fixtures coming. Let's talk about the incoming first. So goalkeeper's signed two of them. - Yep. - Horny, horny, horny checks gonna be number one though, have I got that right? - Yeah, he's a lot for number one. Yeah, I think it needed to happen. I think we've been, you know, we've been trying to get traffic for a couple of years. We tried Ramster last year. Which interesting thing was on 120k a week. And you can tell the model of the club now is that we've signed two young goalkeepers that are gonna cross less than that. Both, I think, are looking to try and offload into a club. He's still five million in the game. So I don't think he's gonna be an option wherever he goes. Horny checks look good. It's considered a few goals. You can say necessarily it's up fault for any of them, but some of his sayings and like reactions have been really good. I was hoping, I was hoping they might probably submit four, five, but he's five. Definitely on number one goalkeeper. I don't think there's any chance of him to be honest losing that place unless he goes on like a real, a real bad run. A couple of concerns just with like the communication with the center backs and a few games and coming for crosses, he looks like that's gonna take a bit of time and there could be a few errors over the course of his first season, but he looks at quality prospects and a really nice guy. So and he's a big lad as well. Good ball at his feet. So I think he's gonna prove to be a very good goalkeeper signing. So happy with that. But I do think we're still gonna concede quite a lot of goals this season. So maybe one for next year. Julie noted. So, Yuvon Jauan is gonna be number two. We're almost certain and hope will go. That's the the come thinking. Okay. (chirping) (chirping) (chirping) (crickets chirping) Sean Stur has impressed quite a bit in preseason. What can you tell us about him? Have you seen him play football yet? I went and watched some clips of him when you signed for a piece we were doing on the weekend. And it did strike me kind of Lucas Bergvowesk, which is actually is a player you've been linked with quite a bit. And the first time I saw Lucas play for Tottenham in preseason, I did think, oh my God, what have we signed here? So I'm gonna give that a bit of caution before you speak. Okay. Oh, he looks incredible. That's fine. This is exactly what I was saying about Boga Brothers, my only part. Okay. (sighs) Yeah, we, I know we've talked about Moose of Dembele a lot in the past, 'cause I said. Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm not going there. No, no, no, no, no. I'm not going there. You can compare him to Messi if you want. I'm not having that. Okay, I'm not, I would say Cess Bapragas is a bit maybe more of a comp for his young years, but in terms of like his balance, he does certain things. He like someone that's 18, even though you're comfortable, like I actually can't, he should not know like how to technically do that level of things, like the way he takes the ball with his body position, head on a swivel, all of that stuff you expect from the best players, but like his ability to like, punch passes in, he should start for me. If for no other reason than our best form of defense, it's probably attacking. He's the only one that I can see in our current squad, that can actually, he's like, he comes on, he just dictates, he dictates games, just purely from the way that he, the positions he takes up and his ability to find, penetrating proven passes, but just not give the ball away. Like, yes, the physical side of the game, I think he's going to be a challenge for him, which is why like who is, who is partner would be in that kind of pivot, would be interesting. Like, it could be anyone really at the moment. I don't think, could it be, could it be a ladshoe bamba? I actually, he's been getting a bit of stick from fans online. I like him. I've always gone. I know, I know. I see a cast of fans, mate. They're a fucking, he's got all the attributes. I think the problem with him is his style. The pace of the Premier League, I think, is going to trouble him more than it will stir. I think he's, you can see he uses his physical attributes to get out of situations. And I think he's going to, he might struggle from that perspective. And also, if you look at like, there was a clip of a montage room and all of the passes he attempted. Like, they weren't bad. They're just, the guys on the end of them are bloody like Jacob Murphy and El Anga. Like, he's come from, he's come from a place where he's expecting, like, players to kind of be available to him and he's trying stuff and it just looks bad because all of our senior guys are just bit stuck in their ways and kind of aren't used to that progressive kind of vertical football. So I like him as a signing. Do I think he's ready to start the season? No, I think actually, like for me personally, even though he's younger, I would start with Sturder Bamber. But that's just my opinion. Let's talk Bazzamara touring before we move on. Very left footed. Wide play idea. Does it like play left or right? What's your initial impressions on him? I really like it. I think it's a bit of an old school winger in terms of like very much like the violin. You can tell he's got a very good crossing him. And he's quick enough that he has the ability to look up and actually try and pick someone out. So he's not just getting up there and spamming crosses. Again, don't want to pick out on Jacob Murphy, but he should have scored a couple in preseason that were even in the time that they shared on the pitch together. So really like him. There's a lot of clamber for him to start. I don't think he will. I think again, like the physical side of things, I think he's just a good impacts up and a good compliment to what Harvey Barnes brings, which is basically nothing that he does, but has all the end product and cuts inside and can get shots off. And I think Torrey just needs to develop that side of his game, like have a secondary option. I think him and Hall could be a really nice combination. And they just haven't really played enough together. Yeah, really like it. And I think he's definitely one to like keeping an eye on as the season progresses. Maybe one for the second half of the season. OK, I'm going to play a bit of quick file for what we've view in terms of what's needed. And I'll start with right back because the list of departures, we obviously should include Kieran Trippi, has been brilliant for you, but also Emma Kroff, who's gone as well, would have been someone maybe could have covered at the moment. Just let's go through position position because I feel like there's a chance that maybe you need a lot. So do you need a new right back? Yes or no? Yeah, we do for a couple of reasons. One, it looks like Tino Livramento is still in the US. And if he's not back at the training ground, that means that he's probably seeing a specialist that might be some way off. I think he's going to look, and there's been a lot of rumours that he wanted to leave anyway. So we need that succession planning anyway. I would be buying a right back that is good enough to challenge him for a start. I think we're in for dead itch. I don't know if that's going to come off on Ox. There's been a lot of noise in Fibrizio. Romano has talked about it, which probably means that he's trying to smoke out some other offers. Daniel and I seem to glaringly obvious based on some conversations I've had this week. Yeah, even at his age profile, I'd go for him. I think he's quite exciting. We've also spoke about experience being a, you know, who's leading this team. But he's 30 Daniel Minors. So he certainly brings plenty of that. I thought he was 28, you see that? He's 30 Daniel Minors. Yeah, he's a surprising one, but he is. I mean, we signed Kevin Trippie older than that and not to say that they're the same kind of caliber of leadership, but I think in the system, again, to play back kind of the ice, like if we do end up playing that very kind of vertical fallbacks, the widest wing is type system, I think he would suit that to the ground. So I would I think I think going back to a couple of players that he's had previously, the young players he's worked with at Southburg that have now gone on and are playing at a higher level, I think is a decent strategy and it definitely feels like one that he's had involvement in. And so we need that, we need a left back, we don't like Dan Verne, she should not be playing left back any more hall as good as he is, there's been a lot of room so he wants to leave so it wouldn't surprise me if again one or two seasons, I don't know what the contract situation is with him, he's not on a lot of money and I think every new sign that we bring in that is a more money, he's just going to exacerbate that situation so hopefully we can get him locked into a new contract, but I do think we need again another proper left back and one that suits what the ice of wants to play and then sent it back just running through the entire team. This is what I'm going to do so crack on me. Let's go. Botman's look ropey for a while now, he in the first like 18 months that he was here, I don't think made one mistake and it feels like that is not the case anymore so I'm concerned about that. I also think from a leadership perspective, Dan Verne might be getting more game time than he probably should at this point in his career and I dubbed him to be like the impact sub and that he was for England in the summer I think that's perfect role for him but that's a bit of a concern so ideally we need a left back, sorry a left centre back but a left centre back that can play left back would be ideal. I do like some of the youngsters we've played in preseason that are coming through but I'm sure again I think is a concern him being our back up right back at right centre back so yeah a centre back I think again is on the list but not as high as fallbacks. Midfielders everyone says that we need like a holding the field at Hoi Berg I think would have been a pretty good signing I think that's a no now isn't it and Pauline has been mentioned and at the time recording Villa seemed closer to that again now. I wouldn't have gone for a pala, yeah I think Hoi Berg in terms of like his leadership and actually I always rate him as a ball playing player. I think I think he would have been okay for you in the short term Pauline or I think would have been a bad addition for you. Yeah I think so. Last I've had actually is that's not completely dead but the money situation I think is going to dictate it and I don't know if we'll out desperation we might just go there and give him a short term contract and give him a lot of money for like a year or two. A number 10 I don't know if Walter Marder is a like him, I love him as a person, I like him as a footballer I just don't know if he's ever going to be suited to the Premier League. We tried him in the 10, we tried him at number 9 again against everything the second half. I don't know I just don't think he's a nice person. It's in we discussed before, was there not a correlation with the fact that he dropped deeper and your results got worse? Yes but you can see like his confidence is absolutely created now and I don't think his experience with Germany in the summer would have helped him come in on this in a pen away. He had one chance against Everton where he just looked to kind of like square off when he was in the box and I know our new manager is very much about getting target opportunities and shots and target and it just feels like his confidence is so low that I think you do give him a run in the team and I think that goes for a lot of our players. It feels like a bit of a free hit depending on who we sign in the last 10 days of the show of the window but I would give him a run and then if he can't make it click in the first eight games of the season I think he's just going to have to come out the team and we're just going to cut our losses. Unfortunately his style is just in the way that he physically doesn't look like he's developed enough in the last year to visit concern so I think number 10 and someone that has more of a pressing game to them is a must if nothing else just for competition and a different look from him. I think wingers were okay. Everyone wants to sell Jacob Murphy a new cast of Fandars but for me I think that's just losing a bit more connection to the to the club if he goes and who's really going to pay the money for him based on what he could produce for us. So everything that has been linked but having now got John so I can't say that. That's not happening. So I think he'll stay. I think that's probably the right decision for another year and we just kind of take the hit on the fact that we're not going to get hardly anything for him and then striker-wise would love another one but you'd have to move a cup or one by the sounds of it. I think we'd probably would so I think Wester's looked good in preseason had a good World Cup. I think he'll personally I think he'll start and they are main striker but I like a pseudo finish the season well and and provides like a lot of qualities that I think Yosler's going to like so for me it's fullbacks like they're the main striker. Well if you're saying as well the style of how he wants to play that's like a necessity. I'd say let's work through this just from an FPL perspective covering we'll start with the forwards and we'll go backwards again because this or another solo both start against Everton right so I mean is there a chance we get that not two of the three star is that possible at the moment. Yeah he likes playing to the top excuse me. It doesn't look like just more like one as a ten and one as a nine is that how that looks. Yeah it was kind of like it was strange actually because the new cast is streaming so it's just so shy I actually missed the first 20 minutes until I managed to find something on my dodgy box but I so I missed the chances where we actually played well in the first 20 minutes. Oh yeah I've never had that story before. That's pretty common for us and to be honest I think you missed a bit I did well there love. Yeah that's that is going to be a pattern of how we play in very much like what a criticism of any how is we would start games pretty well but as soon as we concede it the head to drop and that as we've seen that throughout preseason to be honest. I think with Sir given the experience that we need in the team and we don't have in some positions I think he'll start he's a goal scorer and I think the way that you guys still wants to play with the wingers I think there's going to be a good opportunity for him. I really like him as an FBL pick. If he scores again at the weekend and we look good at home I think I think he might be going in as my first striker and I just dominant how that learned for me is such a boring template pick and I think Whissa would be on penalties as well and with that run from free onwards I'm winning I'd be willing to gamble it but I need to see something this weekend and I need to feel confident in that and the other thing to say about Whissa as well is like if you look at the rotation with Sunderland we only play we only have like two bad fixtures combined because we're obviously home and away every week which is like I think 11 and 13 which is the Manchester United Liverpool so twice in actually sorry twice in the season really that's the only times that you could say like both of us have like a dodgy fixture so I really like that Sunderland rotation so like Whissa and the Fee is something that has been online. It seems like a heavy price rotation 12 millions worth. You're a fixed guy I think. Yeah but also it's kind of identified if if I look at your fixtures and listen definitely Liverpool got some vulnerabilities particularly defensive you're I think you're going to hear that from Lauren on the next podcast so if we look into your fixtures for your offensive are pretty much are called way good to Arsenal in game with 11 mate actually for the offensive players so yeah I mean we are I'll get a bench vissa like a way to palace like it's play it and if you think he's a guy I just play it mate maybe but if you look at if you look at like the fixtures now I personally think it's this is this is and particularly coming off a World Cup this is the time to be going with quite a strong squad and looking to target those bottom five teams and that that's that's something that I'm looking at and building my FBL team is like which of the which the teams are going to be playing halips which commentary Newcastle and full of the most in the open in 15 and trying to build out a bigger squad that can well card later in the season so that's kind of that's what I'm looking at and with the with the like suggestion like do I want to play Whissa away to Crystal Palace it might be good but we might also be terrible away from home and so pretty electric home so across the first across the first 15 game we're sure third on my ticker the two above you are Asden Villa shout out to Brian Madjo because we might talk about him a little bit next week and it's my time so spurs so Richard listen or Salankay now I've done that path I think the problem with these six millions is I think you might be right I think this and might actually be the right choice and maybe we should look at his season last year as hugely interrupted he obviously didn't impress whatsoever but a club made a big investment and him I just need a bit of clarity first on this I think because there were definitely two other players there you could absolutely eat into his minutes or he has one bad game and it's changed that that's how it feels to me with this sort of moment do you think genuinely we'll start with him I think I think you will I think you're new in FPL oh do I think I'll start I think nearly clear at this point that this probably will start the season in game week one if he if he does anything this weekend at home and my my lack of appetite for the other six minutes I like Egor Jesus I like the price point. and I think I think of Framp 3 is the way to go. It's between 3, it's between. He was Jesus, Donald Cowatlow, and everyone's going for. And Whissa, for me. I don't think if it looked like a solo was going to be the guy with the starting of season, I don't think I'd work because Whissa can come on like he did against Ferencine and score 2. And then. The irony, though, is that if Eddie Howe was doing charge, we probably would be having a very serious or solo conversation here, ironically, but I think the situation is possibly changed for him. Right, midfielders, six millions worth, and probably we're all at Jacob Matthews, the six million, no, no. Torre Langer Barnes, any of that capture attention? Langer's looked good in preseason, slightly interrupted by him was getting his leg broken, in Valencia, but. Oh, my god, you outsolled that. Yeah, that was rough. He came back in the. Again, he looks great in training, and I do think. Are you there, Si? There's training videos where he's like putting them out and he's banging them in top corners. Oh, god. I think training videos, sorry, guys. Absolute nonsense. No one publishes the bad training videos, okay? Continue. Continue. I think. I mean, he needs to have a good season. If we're going to be all right this year, and he needs to sort of step up, I think there is scope for him to have a good year. He just needs to kind of take on a bit more of that main, main man, mental, and not like a tricky winger. And I think the way that Yosel wants to play with him, kind of inverting and cutting in, getting shots off. He's got the talent. So I like him. If you were going to ask me to pick one at the start of season, I think it would be Barnes. I think he scored two consolation goals in preseason, and there might be quite a lot of that going on at the start of the year, where he's just popping up and like, racking up points. But if we're losing, to be honest, you're not going to pick any of them. And I wouldn't start season with anything. It's just. You can't say you can't send a fielder. It is one of the best five picks in the game. There are so many options there. For me, it's just a no. No, but I think that on the last one, you won't have heard this book speaking about solace. I feel like in escape from him in a couple of weeks, if you start with someone like him, the answer might end up being one of these three new castle poids. And my instinct when I've looked ahead at planning is, can move, but used to look at Barnes. Because I know he's a frustrating and divisive figure, but he is output from a goal's perspective. He's better, more reliable than a Langer at the moment. And Torrey obviously isn't unknown element. I can't know if the returns are going to be there. So I think the planning of having a new castle attacking player, whether it's one of them, six million midfielders or six million forward, is probably easy to jump from another six million forward. Easy as very much in my mind, but I don't understand what the right decision is at this moment. And it's also fair to say there might be different players in here in a couple of weeks as well. Defensively. But all Barnes is like a, he's historically like a one in four return rate for new castle, but that was under Eddie Howe and a lot of minutes being shared around with Gordon. He's hit one semtly, one eight seasons before in FPL. And again, I think him, him inverting cutting in not necessarily being the widest player. If we do play this formation where the fullbacks are the actual wingers, I think suits him massively. And I think if we're going to, if we're going to play two up top, he is now, whereas Gordon would have been probably an option to be one of those two. So you could get a bit of ORO peace stuff with him. I would, if I was going to pick one, I would pick him purely for that, the goal output and the fact that you've seen it in preseason. Like he's not going to play fantastically well in games. But he's done all right. I think he'll start the season. I think we need that sort of experience. Liverpool, I am going to be a massive occasion. I think he's going to have to lean into players. And why not? Like he is, he's one of the only ones that's proven that he can actually score goals in our team. So he could have a very good season. But yeah. Yeah, I've got eyes on that. I don't think it'll be from the start. I mean, there's not much new cast where ownership knocking about. There's only one player currently with ownership over three percent from Newcastle squad. That is Lewis Hall on the monstrous four percent ownership. All six. And that looks very thin at the moment. Defenders are priced up five million. Do you have a favourite? You would have to, I do like Hall. I think I think in this system, he could be very good as a set like being essentially playing as a left-winger. If that is the system that we end up settling in on. But I think you probably have to go with child this moment in time. Just, just these proof that he can, he can dong and rack up big, big scores. He is definitely are, he's nailed in the team might end up being I captain has captain in one of our preseason games. So between the two of them, if you're looking for someone that's like consistently going to start, I go with him. I just think we're good for a concealing a goal game for a lot of these fixtures. So for me and Newcastle defenders off table. I'm a bit nervous about this statistic. Yeah, I mean, defenders had a high exchange and Nika then Malik Chow last year. I'll just give you the answer. Maybe Neko Williams, for us to say. No, Nika O'Reilly. Malik Chow, second for XG amongst defenders last season. That's more than game, more than Van Dyke, more than Gabriel, more than Van Heck, more than Tarkov. He's good. He's good for it. I would pick him if I was, if I was, if I was too strong. I think the intrigue in bit with Malik Chow is definitely place. It's very little doubt about that. If the Defcon stuff does improve and I said there wasn't evidence of that from the Everton game, then that's really intriguing. This idea that your games might be a bit more kind of back to front both ways. That's quite intriguing and obviously he does maintain that threat from set players. He's an interesting one. I think anyone that lands towards one into Benchboost in Game Week 1 is instantly put off him. If you are not Benchboost in Game Week 1 and planning longer term for later, he could be a good one just to sit there on a Bench Game Week 1 and use afterwards, you know. That's not the way you can't do so in Game Week 1, by the way, but I do think you are seeing Liverpool. You are put off by that in Game Week 1, I think. So yeah, he's under watch list for me. Lewis Hall would also be for me and I have to stress this is, Lewis Hall would be a definite no from Game Week 1. I need to see how hard he's having to work in this system, but it could be great. I also have a suspicion within me. It might pick up quite a bit of the slack in terms of set players. So Lewis Hall and Malik Chow are interested in and I think the six million attackers are all interested in. If I had to start one for the star, it would be to hide the Malik Chow thing. But I think it's more likely I'm going to monitor you really closely across the first couple and then have a look afterwards. Yeah, very enough. I wouldn't start with him. I think a botman for the Valencia game. I think he someone racked up the EO of Deathcon down by 11. So I don't think the death cons are going to necessarily be there for him. So you're picking in for potentially your attacking output a bit more than that. So 5 million. I just don't think the options are there yet. If Hall was kind of gets a run of games and looks fit, I think he'd be more attracted just from what you can do from an offensive point of view. And potentially also in that system might be pretty good for death cons as well. So it's a waiting watch for pretty much all of the squad for me, apart from looking at whether Whissa gets to start this weekend and does something. And that would be for me the only one that I would consider picking from your castle start season. Okay, fair. I'd very much on after the first couple though. I'm going to actually predict the game at 111, which I know is really tough at the moment. We limited information for the new mansion also you're trying to get players in the door. He could be the one like that. I think he will start. I think out of all of them, he feels like the one that is going to be in that two and can do that job. It's just like who his partner is. I think going into preseason, I think Bamber was the one that looked like it was going to be his position. He's just been a little bit shaky. So you're right about Joel, Anton. He did captain the side in the first half against Evan, gave away a penalty. It was a bit soft, but in a two, it looks like he might struggle. But I just think for that first game, given the occasion, he might go that way. It really does come down to this week. If Bamber has a good game, he's going to start. If Sturr again continues to impress, he might just chuck him in and see like and just give him that opportunity because he's risen to every challenge. But that midfield is a concern. That's why we're trying to sign someone that's that's experienced that can come in and play that role. Yeah. I'd like, I think for me to be interested in Ramsey, I'd have wanted someone to sit a bit deeper than him as an anchor. So he could play as an A or as a 10. It doesn't appear all so much. I mean, if we don't sign a 10 and Volta Marla doesn't work out, that's Ramsey's position. I do think a lot of when we've discussed 5 million midfielders across this way has been a theme that a lot of them feel like they've got eliminated. And I think there is a lean towards some people looking at a gross plus a go miss. But in go miss might be the choice. I don't know if I want both of them. So it's looking at other 5 million mids. And Ramsey does feel like wonder. Could be good, but he only feels like that could be good. Might be shit. More likely shit. I would. Yeah. Could be good. Could be shit. He needs to step up. He's capable. There's a very good footballer in there. I would jay could Ramsey is my opinion. You see heavily, heavily linked with Tottenham over the last couple years.
