New Trump Press Secretary Katie Zacharia Was A Disaster
29m 41s
The transcript offers a critical examination of recent political and media developments surrounding President Trump’s final campaign push ahead of the midterms. It highlights the strategic use of shock content—such as a tiger attack video—on Truth Social, which draws criticism for its graphic and exploitative nature. Trump’s campaign rallies feature emotionally charged, often factually flawed, stories about his family history, including an erroneous claim about his grandfather running brothels. The performance of new White House press secretary Katie Zachariah is deeply scrutinized; her briefing is described as unprepared, tone-deaf, and riddled with conspiracy theories, while her legal credentials and past activities—including work in China and financial misconduct—are questioned. The episode also details wider political toxicities, such as claims of U.S. aid cuts to Ukraine and the role of AI in espionage, exemplified by a Saudi spy’s attempt to infiltrate OpenAI using a disguised device and ChatGPT for instructions. A separate segment features a sharp, grassroots candidate in Indiana who fiercely opposes AI data center development, emphasizing local values and public safety. The episode concludes with a critical look at AI therapy tools, revealing their instability and failure to handle basic human interaction. Together, these elements underscore a pattern of misinformation, personal attacks, and systemic distrust that characterizes the current political and technological landscape.
John, we're just a couple of weeks out from the midterm elections.
So let's let's check in and see what kind of messaging President Trump is cranking out from his truth social account.
Oh, yeah, that's God damn it.
That was a video of a British man named Williams Chapman being mauled ultimately to death by a tiger.
Chapman had entered a Siberian tiger's enclosure at a wildlife park in England this past Saturday.
His family said he suffered from significant mental illness.
Trump later shared an video of himself wrestling a tiger set to music.
And then another compilation video of like big cat attacks also set the music.
John, why do we think this was this was a Natalie post?
Since she runs the truth social.
Yeah, there's a couple of people with the password.
A little bloodthirsty these days.
And the Scovino, you know, golf caddy.
Also, like, what is he?
What is the purpose of that?
You're watching a man die in the first video.
Right.
Really bleak.
That is fucking gross.
He's just posting away.
President.
It's also the guy's family asked people not to post it anymore because they're getting just like inundated with watching clips of their son.
Do you think that's what all the Wall Street traders paid?
For when they got the early Truth Social, the API access for the market movers?
Do you think they were?
Oh, well, we got the we got the tiger mauling the guy first.
So that's, you know, money well spent.
Well, hey, way to be Wall Street, big tiger.
Trump is on the campaign trail.
Last night, Trump was in Alaska, as Politico put it three weeks out from Election Day.
President Trump took a helicopter to a plane, to another helicopter, to a motorcade, to an ice hockey rink in Alaska's Montana.
Suka.
Suka, I'm sorry, I'm butchering this one.
Didn't he go to Wasilla?
Valley in Wasilla, four thousand miles over eight hours.
I think it's one way.
Sarah Palin's Sarah Palin's hometown.
I know.
I wonder if she was there.
She was mayor.
But she was doing live hits in the back.
Just looking at Putin.
Yeah.
Hey, waving from the doorstep.
He's campaigning for Dan Sullivan.
I want to play you a little clip from the rally speech.
Let's watch.
Besides that, my grandfather was up here a long time ago.
I don't know.
He was great.
He had a little bit of a reputation, I will be honest, as did most of the people that came up here.
He was a little rough, but he was great.
And and they remember.
What kind of reputation are we talking about?
Do you know what his grandfather did?
No, apparently he ran a bunch of brothels.
Oh, honestly, then he said it the right way.
Yeah, I'm with Trump on this.
Yeah, he kind of nailed it.
He nailed the tone.
So his grandfather ran a bunch of brothels.
So here's the reporting that I read, which is in like the 1890s in Seattle, Trump's grandfather ran a restaurant in the red light district that advertised, quote, private rooms for ladies, which I think was kind of code for brothel at the time.
Then during the Klondike Gold Rush, he moved up to Canada, not Alaska.
I think he's in the Yukon, opened a bunch of restaurants that almost certainly doubled as brothels as well.
None of it happened in Alaska.
Seemingly, I think he gets that wrong.
But yeah, there's a lot going on.
Yeah, it's just a funny thing to shout out.
But look, he's just sex work is work.
That's right.
And he's in Trump as a big supporter.
And I'm sure he is.
You know, he also signed two pardons on stage.
Do you see that?
No.
There are these two diesel mechanics who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the Clean Air Act under the Biden administration.
And he called them up on stage and had Natalie bring their pardons over and just signed them.
That's the closing message.
Man, I'm sure Mary Paul told it was probably pretty happy.
She's like, what's at this visit?
What's at this visit happened?
Yeah.
And maybe Dan Sullivan less so?
Probably less so.
Could you pick Dan Sullivan out of a lineup?
Nope.
I could not.
Not with a gun to my head.
Do you know who's at the rally?
Brendan Carr, for some reason.
Brendan Carr was at the rally.
Trump reads in their prepared remarks, he goes, Brendan, what the hell are you doing here?
What is he doing?
I don't know.
Letnick was there.
Shouldn't he be threatening late night hosts?
Right.
Letnick was there, of course.
Yeah.
There's a bunch of hangers on.
That's very, very cool.
I wonder if Dan J. Sullivan was there.
Remind me, is he the independent who stayed on?
Yeah.
He's one of the four in the top four on the ballot.
There's the other Dan J. Sullivan.
Paul, we should just have a smarter system than that.
It's great.
It might help Mary Paul Tola win.
Trump at his event did a whole riff on Tallarico having the flu.
He's still on that beat.
What did he say?
What's his latest?
He's like, I got the flu.
It doesn't last 14 days.
That did the whole thing.
Did he do the, he didn't do the, he ate too much meat and threw up?
I didn't see that part.
I just saw whatever.
I thought that was a good bit.
That was actually pretty funny.
That was a good bit.
It was better than he's in the loony bin.
That's still one of my favorite stories.
That's the messaging coming from our president.
Let's see how the new White House press secretary is doing.
Oh, boy.
Here's a sample of Katie Zachariah's first press briefing.
Let's watch.
Good morning.
I'm looking forward to working with each of you as well.
Especially as we are in the middle of the midterm blitz, with energy and excitement,
never seen before in the history of midterms, thanks to President Trump.
Attendance is at record highs as enthusiastic, hardworking Americans are lining up and packing
arenas to support President Trump and Republicans.
It's not hard to see why.
He had a historic one day war.
And now we have a booming economy and a great relationship with Venezuela.
I want to ask you a policy question.
Has the US stopped sharing intel with Ukraine?
I'll have to get back to you on that.
Nailed it.
Nailed it there.
That's literally the only substantive question she received in the whole briefing.
14 minutes long, the briefing, most of which was the prepared statement we heard.
She took questions from three outlets, Breitbart, Fox News, and The New York Times.
One question was about how can you do this and still be a working mom who has it all?
And she kind of fumbled that answer too.
She fumbled that answer, that was a plan.
That's when she referred to her husband as the president, I think.
I want to read one of the answers.
I'd like to hear it.
Peter Doocy asked, one of his questions was like, it's going to be a tough midterm, even Donald Trump has said that.
So like, is your job just to talk about what's going on at the White House or are you hoping to talk about what's going on at the White House?
I'm hoping to make the midterms less bad for Donald Trump as well.
And she said, I get to do what I was doing on the outside already, which was hoping to amplify, multiply, and expand upon President Trump's incredible agenda for the American people.
And what I hope to do in this position is to take that into an official capacity and only build on, only amplify, and only multiply to the extent possible all of the wins he's making for Americans, for Americans to understand how much has changed in this brief period of time, what he's been able to accomplish.
My goal is to be able to communicate that in complete tandem with the president.
So.
What?
Oh, as he is his own best spokesperson and will absolutely be leading the way as with that.
Okay.
Period.
So in fairness, they like picture the day before they didn't do any prep and then he just threw her out there.
Like when Robert Gibbs was named White House press secretary or Jay Carney or Josh Earnest or Jen Psaki, they did like weeks and weeks and weeks of studying.
And murder boards.
And to prepare for the job.
That's how you know if the US is cutting off Intel sharing to the Ukrainians.
That answer you actually don't need a prep for.
You should be able to just talk.
I mean.
Talking should be part of your repertoire.
I guess they also needed to prep her to figure out how to read.
Yeah.
No.
Wasn't the best at it, I guess.
Just the words.
Has she seen the words before?
No.
Has she seen any words or sentences?
The tone was kindergarten.
It was like Maya telling her kids it's time for a snack.
No.
At a much more sophisticated level.
Our kids teacher.
She's the best.
It was.
It was so.
Like I had heard people saying it was really bad.
And at first I was like watching them like is this that bad?
And then when you actually watch the whole thing.
Yes.
It is as bad as advertising.
I went on the same journey.
One of the kind of clipping accounts was framing one of the clips as being like the worst thing ever.
And then I watched the clip and it was totally fine.
I was like God damn it.
I hate when people do this.
Then I watched the whole thing and it was an absolute disaster.
I saw somewhere this was Daily Mail so who knows that like Susie Wiles didn't even know.
Apparently.
Wasn't consulted.
She just wasn't a part of the process and she wanted Scott Jennings.
Also the Politico said that Katie Zachariah was considered for a comms job at GSA after Paul Ingrassia recommended her.
Do you remember this guy?
Yeah.
He was on the group chat where he said I do have a Nazi streak in me from time to time.
I will admit it.
Yeah.
That's him.
So that was interesting.
Well, she thinks that like she said that, you know, Democrats are pedophiles and Michelle Obama has a dick and she doesn't.
So she is deep into conspiracy.
Yeah.
She's real.
It's a weird thing because a lot of people we know have like been on CNN with her or whatever and said she's like a wonderfully nice person.
But then you read those social media posts and it's like the most despicable shit ever.
Yeah.
I think it's positive that if you're on CNN with her, she doesn't like bite you.
Knife you.
A lot of knives.
A lot of knife stabs.
During the segment.
But it doesn't necessarily mean you're fit for White House Post Secretary.
CNN reported that a bunch of her like new colleagues said the performance was "brutal" and they questioned how long she'd last in the job.
Did you see the part about –
her being a lawyer without having passed the bar because she she passed the bar in china
she claims to be a lawyer but judd judd legum at popular information a great independent media
site he went and looked and like couldn't find any record of her passing the bar in any state
and you're not a lawyer unless you've passed the bar no that's the whole thing with being a lawyer
you passed the bar exam you're the person who went to one law school yeah it's crazy and so
then she was asked about it and she goes they're like where did you pass the bar she goes when i
went to china and which is first of all it's not a u.s state i was gonna say what the chinese bar
exam and in china non-citizens can't practice law so like she did go to pepperdine law and then she
moved to china and worked at a chinese law firm which has like big ties to the so she didn't take
the bar no she didn't pass the bar she's been lying she's just she just graduated pepperdine
and went right to china and started and showed up and was like hello i'm here to practice
i'm here to practice law katie
i'm here to tell you about how chinese law works or something yes i guess it was like a big blue
chip law i can't read this it's in chinese i also can't read the english
she was the she was the general counsel at a non-profit i'm forgetting the name run by rick
grinnell in california who was also knifing her too apparently yeah big time i got some news about
him later in the show you're gonna want to stick around for which is why you subscribe to pod
save america here on youtube because we're bringing you all the the shittiest most trivial and exciting
news about these assholes that work at the white house did you see this change has put this in our
news slack katie zachariah's husband worked alongside her in china for years making major
loans as large as one million dollars to north korean companies facing u.s sanctions not good
she's in some trouble and also like so she worked at rick grinnell's um uh thing she called her the
non-profit she called herself the gc if you represent yourself as a lawyer and you have
not passed the bar it's a misdemeanor seems like a no-no you can get fined like
a couple hundred grand it's crazy the worst people in america by the way just for those
wondering it does seem like the u.s is cutting off support to ukraine it's not just the diesel deal
it's like apparently they're cutting off starlink access so now the ukrainians can't
launch interceptor why because they're monsters they're truly monsters like
it seems like so trump does the diesel deal zelensky responds not positively because
obviously like he's getting rat fucked and then maybe hegseth or maybe just elon musk
on their own seems to have screwed with their starlink access just a league of war criminals
yeah just in line with that's that's that's our our new league of nations league of war criminals
the world uh netanyahu some of my favorites netanyahu apparently is trying to get trump to
bomb iran again before the midterms of course axios of course do it kim jong-un also a friend
he's a good guy just the best guys i think you guys you guys the best wines um the good news
for katie is that the bar is low he was just a little a little trip down the road and he's like
down memory lane to sean spicer's first briefing oh my god yeah i thought you'd like it photographs
of the inaugural proceedings were intentionally framed in one particular tweet to minimize the
enormous support that had gathered on the national mall this was the first time in our nation's
history that floor coverings have been used to protect the grass in the mall that had the effect
of highlighting any areas where people were not standing while in years past the grass eliminated
this visual inaccurate numbers involving crowd size were also tweeted no one had numbers because
the national park service which controls the national mall no does not put any out this was
the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration period i remember that it's so good period it's
so good in hindsight oh my god with simpler times dude that was so long ago i remember i was in a
cab 10 years later in san francisco this is when i lived in san francisco and i was watching that
you
and hannah's like what are you doing because i was in the front seat of like an uber i was watching
spicer's briefing 10 years later we're uh we're contemplating live streaming public executions
well that basically was one
national national park service then not putting out numbers national park service now um lying
about uh the reflecting pool and and uh pretending that someone knifed the reflecting pool or an
olympian you see the thing today they're charging someone
yeah wrongfully charging someone with a crime that's what the national park service is up to
these days yeah do you see the photos of all the trees with the caution tape wrapped around them
to protect them oh yeah because he's just cutting down all the trees and the judge got mad yeah
judge got mad pod save america breaking news is brought to you by zip recruiter let's be honest
zip recruiter is everywhere why because top talent is everywhere too just like you your ideal
candidates are tuning into business sports and podcasts just like this one when these candidates
hear all these ads it increases the chances of them going to zip recruiter
and responding to your job post so ultimately you meet them sooner of course you can't meet them
unless you go to zip recruiter.com slash crooked to try it for free once you post your job zip
recruiter's matching technology finds top talent quickly and zip recruiter has a new feature that
shows you the most interested qualified candidates first so you meet them faster no wonder four out
of five employers who post on zip recruiter get a quality candidate within the first day but you've
got to go to zip recruiter.com slash crooked to post your job for free again that zip recruiter.com
slash crooked oh and if you forget about it you can post your job for free on zip recruiter.com
where to go don't worry you'll hear another zip recruiter ad soon enough the one bit of news that
katie did make was she announced that kim guilfoyle the now former u.s ambassador to greece have been
asked to resign i think we can all agree that that that is just tragic and unfair um did you see the
reporting this morning like all like now they're just unloading the clip on her what else is that
came out this morning so the white house is worried that she has a tell-all diary this is
what i've been saying this is why i thought that they weren't gonna ditch her they're calling it
the devil wears maga also i feel like we've heard that title before somewhere yeah i bet you're right
year five or six or something from the daily mail so take it with a grain of salt um one source
dude this is fucking crazy uh i hope this isn't true a source told the daily mail that don jr
never actually proposed to guilfoyle and that she had procured and started wearing her own
engagement ring during the relationship which ultimately prompted an engagement announcement
that guilfoyle herself released
no that's what it said i that's a tough one it's like i could believe that i could believe it i
could also believe that don jr now that she's toxic is just like no it never happened yeah
well and apparently the daily mail also reported that so they published photos of don jr and his
like the woman he started seeing who is now his wife and then they called kim for comment and
then hours later that same day is when trump announced she would be going to greece so it's
like you see trump when they asked him about it and he's like oh yeah she was a member of your
family like she was never in my family i think she dated i think she dated my son once i think
i think uh engaged she was she spoke at the republican convention famously is yet to come
turns out best was not yet to come uh the journal said that she called the white house and said that
the texts where she was asking for her credit card bill to be paid off were ai generated i did see
that i did see that which like of course it's like you gotta hand it to her yes that is that
is the new baseline explanation for when you get caught doing something now it's it's the obvious
one that wasn't that wasn't me doing that that was ai yeah apparently she also called the state
department to see if they could get taken down an article about her not paying a 1700 like tab
for champagne and dinner so i think kim gilfoyle is going to be fine right she's probably going to
stay in greece yeah what do you think she's going to be hopping around mykonos santa she's going to
party in the islands
my bet uh find some rich dude like lindsey lohan there's going to be a couple rich greeks
that she's somehow fooled into that want sanctions relief from some company or something i think that
i kind of figured she'd pop up like on newsmax or something like hosting or anchoring a show
the question is just like is she seen as toxic and out of the out of the
nagga world or not i think in terms of like getting a position yes but like you're
you can always get a job on these rift the thing is she's i think she's become accustomed to not
working oh yeah big time right yeah so she doesn't want to come back here and do a job
where she'd have to like go into an office every day so i kind of think that she's going to hang
out if i were her i'd probably get my sugar daddy or two hang out in greece and write my tell-all
about don jr and the trump family that's that could be a second pass actually that's a good
idea she probably signed an nda along the way yeah just go with fancy james to fashion week
they definitely gave her they definitely made her sign an nda
i don't think i bet they also like promised her some kind of a job because it was it was a pretty
neat departure right like she had a nice post the white house had a nice post like like they
didn't try to knife her too i mean they're they're doing it behind the scenes but it seems like too
uh too congenial to be like a uh something where she fucks them and they fuck her
that's probably right the other interesting thing that's happening here
it does seem like this story the kim g story could kick off a round of similar things
like i don't know if you saw this i saw this one minute before we walked in here
there's a story in axios that i feel like could be gilfoyle 2.0 um axios reported that on friday
alina haba trump's former attorney went into the oval office and told trump directly that rick
grinnell the twitter troll turned human being who was acting director of intelligence ambassador to
germany and then head of the kennedy center she said that he defrauded her husband out of 5.6
million dollars how
so her husband is this guy named turhan mildan he's a turkish billionaire you've seen like
done reporting their like romance um he had a bunch of business interests in venezuela
with the Maduro government.
Okay.
And then remember,
Rick Grinnell was like
the Venezuela envoy for a minute.
Right.
Right.
But he got fucked by Rubio
because Grinnell was trying to like
bring the two countries closer.
Right.
Rubio pushed him.
He was like,
no, we're just going to take the guy.
No, we're just going to take. We're just going to kidnap him.
We're going to do a quick coup.
Rick, turns out we're going to kidnap him.
Turns out he lives in New York now.
Like, I guess Grinnell was soliciting
donations to the Kennedy Center.
Okay.
Grinnell says,
or Habba says that Grinnell told her husband
to include the $5.6 million donation
in a larger lump sum check for a business deal
to the tune of $17.6 million,
but that the donation never made it
to the Kennedy Center.
Oh.
So you think Grinnell pocketed it?
Just skimming off. That's the suggestion in the story.
I like that she told the. What is Rick Grinnell's job now?
He's not at. I think he's not at the Kennedy Center.
You know he's gone, I think.
So she just. And she doesn't have a job
in the administration.
What was she like a U.S. attorney in Jersey?
Yeah, she was the U.S. attorney in Jersey
and then was pushed out
because she was not appointed legally.
Right, that whole thing.
So she's just now telling. She's going to Trump to tell about someone who. Neither of them work in the Trump administration.
No, she's just saying,
hey, Daddy Trump, this man stole from me.
Yeah, that's what I wanted to make sure.
That's cool.
That's cool.
This is the ultimate MAGA blood feud,
said one Trump World insider.
I bet it is.
So awesome.
There also, they noted that Grinnell
was friends with the two of them,
Milton and Habba,
but was notably absent
from their $10 billion wedding.
Can you imagine the stories out there
about some of the other ambassadors,
the Trump ambassadors?
Like, Kim Guilfoyle's pretty high profile,
which is why we know all this,
but think about what's going on out there.
Right.
She is just impossibly stupid, right?
This is why this all came out.
She's putting all this thing in writing and text
and being like, honey, don't paper this.
Don't paper it.
She's putting it in writing.
But yeah, there's got to be. I feel like this is the tip of the iceberg.
Like, Ben and I talked about
a story earlier this week
about Eric Prince,
the former head of Blackwater.
His mercenaries are doing work in the Congo.
They're collecting mining taxes.
Yeah, they got attacked.
They got ambushed.
A couple of them died.
And it's like, imagine the corruption
around the mining deals.
I mean, it's going to be
open season for Democrats.
Yeah.
We got to win this thing.
But John, at Positive America,
we also care about down ballot races.
We're not just only talking
about the Trump administration.
This is a clip that caught our eye
from a recent candidate forum in Indiana.
Yes.
We wanted to show you.
Would you like to share with us
a little bit about yourself
and read your opening statement?
OK, I didn't write one.
I'm just going to not read it.
Just say it out loud from my heart.
Fayette County is on an aquifer,
which means that we have
a lake beneath us,
miles beneath us.
We have so much water
and the data centers
want that water, man.
If an AI data center
wanted to build here,
then they would have to pay
for all of our firemen.
Not the volunteer.
Thank you, volunteer firemen.
You don't even get paid.
Thank you, everything.
We're not all stupid.
And that's what I have to say about that.
OK.
That may be unpopular with some voters,
but is in the best interest of the county.
That's the best part.
All right.
Fire.
All Republicans.
I wouldn't let them.
I mean,
I don't even talk to him.
I don't like him.
I don't like being around him.
Say just a few last words
to the voters.
We have guns, too.
All right.
What?
I watched the full 10 minute thing.
Deciding what the clip
was nearly impossible.
There's our 2028 nominee right there.
Awesome.
We found her.
She seemed very drunk.
Got to be drunk.
Got to be.
Because it's just the slurring just feels.
We've all been there.
You sign up to a forum.
You forget it's happening.
Are we going to find out like three months from now
that this was a bit this was like a Nathan Fielder thing?
You know, that is like and the moderator,
the interviewer was so like kept a straight face
the whole time.
So not a crack in the in the facade.
Yeah, you're right.
So that's a woman named Jamie West.
She's a Democrat running for Fayette County Councilman.
District four in Indiana.
It was a candidate forum with both the local TV station
and the local newspaper.
So they would have to like be in on this.
I think her opponent skipped the forum, by the way.
Oh, is that why the other chair was empty?
Yeah, I guess so.
But he he that he made a poor choice.
He could have had the time of his life at that thing.
Fire Republicans.
Don't like them.
Don't like them.
I love that lady.
She's clearly given a lot of thought to the office
that she's running for.
She's getting some attention.
Yeah, she's getting some attention.
VSA candidate.
I think I should get her on that list here.
We're getting red to blue, red to blue, red to blue.
Finally, John, you and I like to stay abreast
of the latest artificial intelligence news.
Not anymore.
One of our favorite accounts is a guy named Husk.
You can find his stuff on Instagram at Husk dot IRL.
Recently, Husk tried an AI therapy service.
Have you seen this one?
Let's see how it went.
Let's just get into the therapy stuff.
I'm really messed up.
You know, it actually would help me to relax a lot if you just
counted to 100.
Can separate one to do that.
One, two, three, seven, eight, nine.
One, four.
One, four, one.
One.
One, eight.
One.
One, nine.
One.
No.
I'm a little concerned.
I'm here for you.
What's got you feeling concerned?
Let's talk it through the noise.
I just heard the noise you just made.
Let's do some meditation.
You just do make sounds that will help me meditate.
Great.
Let's start with a simple breathing exercise.
Sit comfortably.
Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four, one, two, three, four.
Hold your breath for a count of four, one, two, three, four.
And now slowly breathe out.
Breathe out through your mouth for a count of six, one, two, three, four, five, six.
Repeat this cycle three to five times and feel yourself relaxed, ready to try it with me.
Let's say bye now.
All right, bye, four.
Now take care and come back anytime you want to chat or need help.
Have a good one.
What the fuck?
What the fuck?
I don't think the therapists are going to lose their job anytime soon.
So good, man.
Count with me.
Five, six, three, one, five, six, eight, five, two, one.
He's really identified the soft underbelly of the AI.
Which is really counting.
What if it's like the weird?
What's the weird sounds in the background?
It's like you think they're gone and all of a sudden it's like nine, four, three.
Oh, man.
Vanity Fair did a good piece on Husk.
He's just a 28-year-old dude in Maine who I guess eight months ago was a full-time landscaper doing this on the side.
And now this made this his job.
Troy Jackson should campaign with him.
Yeah.
For sure.
That's a great idea.
Maybe he's MAGA.
Who knows?
He doesn't seem MAGA.
Did you see the report about the Saudi guy who installed a listening device in the OpenAI conference room?
Just wonderful.
It's so good.
Things are going well.
This is why, by the way, not to make a serious point as we're joking around, but like the whole, oh, no, China's going to beat us.
China's going to beat us.
No, no, no.
China's just going to steal whatever we have.
Of course they are.
We've got Saudis in there.
You don't think we've got Chinese agents running around, anthropic?
And OpenAI and all the rest of them?
Or they don't even have to be there physically.
Like, they are going to steal the technology.
So this whole idea that we're going to beat China and then be like, yes, we won the race.
There's no fucking race.
For three weeks.
Yeah, we won for a week.
Fucking idiot.
And in this case, they're lucky because this is apparently the dumbest spy in the history of spies.
He put a listening device in the USB port of a television in the conference room.
And then he wrapped it in toilet paper.
That'll do it.
Fucking hang a landing.
Answered on your problems.
There's photos of it today.
That was his plan to disguise the thing.
And then he left his bag in another conference room with another listening device with his wallet and his ID.
He also asked ChatGPT for help on how to put the listening device into the company somewhere.
Prosecutors say a chatbot associated with his wife, quote, submitted prompts between September 24th and September 30th related to building, customizing, installing, audio recording, testing, obfuscating, and remote access.
He also asked the therapist to do the alphabet and just missed a letter.
And then, like, fights with you about it.
It's so good.

Summary:
The transcript offers a critical examination of recent political and media developments surrounding President Trump’s final campaign push ahead of the midterms. It highlights the strategic use of shock content—such as a tiger attack video—on Truth Social, which draws criticism for its graphic and exploitative nature. The performance of new White House press secretary Katie Zachariah is deeply scrutinized; her briefing is described as unprepared, tone-deaf, and riddled with conspiracy theories, while her legal credentials and past activities—including work in China and financial misconduct—are questioned.
