But now he's in the headlines for a completely different reason. Disturbing new details in the murder case against the singer David. Incredibly gruesome details about the murder case against the singer David. We have people admitting to literally murder. David is being accused of some of the most horrific crimes imaginable, grooming children online, fostering an illegal relationship with a minor that spanned many, many years, and the murder and dismemberment of a 14-year-old girl. In the trunk, investigators found the unthinkable. Human remains. This case is still developing and it seems like we're getting new information every other day. This is a case that I've personally been following for the past seven, nearly eight months. So in this episode, I want to dive into the entire timeline. But if you haven't yet, don't worry because we're going to dive into every single detail in this case available as of May 1st, 2026. And trust me, we are definitely going to be diving into all of the new updates that came out just in the past two weeks directly from the investigators that worked this case and the prosecutors that are prosecuting this case. Throughout my research for this week's episode, I've uncovered so much information and evidence that paints a very disturbing picture of a young man that used his fame and influence to pray on a child, a young man that stole a girl's childhood and then stole her life. This case all begins with a Tesla that was left abandoned on Bluebird Avenue in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. On August 26, 2025, neighbors living on that street called and reported that a Tesla was left abandoned on their street for several weeks that didn't belong to anyone that lived there. This car was also photographed in the next upcoming days that showed just how dirty this Tesla was proving that it had been there for quite some time. On the 27th, a parking enforcement officer came out and marked the Tesla's tires with chalk to see if it moved at all in the next few days. On September 3rd, an officer returned and saw that the car hadn't yet moved and issued the Tesla a citation. Two days later, on September 5th, after the car still had it moved, the Tesla was towed to the Hollywood tow impound lot. The Tesla sat in their parking lot for several days until employees noticed and started complaining about a very foul smell coming from the Tesla. So on September 8th, 2025, LAPD was called to come out to the impound lot to check what this terrible smell was that was coming from this abandoned Tesla. And that's when the officers opened the front trunk of this Tesla and discovered a badly decomposed and dismembered body of a teenage girl. Now this is obviously just horrifying and extremely disturbing, but the more that you unravel this case, it just somehow gets even more disturbing. And right away, this case began making headlining news across the entire world, and that was mainly due to who this Tesla belonged to. The Tesla was registered to a young man, 20 years old, named David Anthony Burke, who is more publicly known by his stage name, David, which is spelled D, the number four, the D. And if you haven't heard of the artist, David, before this case started making headlines, if you have spent any time on TikTok, it's very likely that you have heard some of his songs. Right when this case started to emerge in the headlines, David was already one of the fastest growing music stars in the industry. So let's talk a little bit about this guy, David, before we answer the question, why were there the dismembered remains of a teenage girl found in the front shrunk of his car? So David Anthony Burke was born on March 28th, 2005 in Queens, New York, but he spent most of his early life in Houston, Texas. But when later asked, David would say that he was from the internet that the internet was his home. Like most kids in the Gen Z generation, David wanted to grow up to be an internet sensation. A recent survey actually showed that one third of kids today say that when they grow up, they either want to be a YouTuber or a Twitch streamer. And David growing up really wanted to be a streamer. He wanted to be a professional gamer, more specifically, he wanted to be a Fortnite streamer. He used to upload clips of him playing Fortnite on YouTube, but after receiving multiple strikes for the copyright, for copyright music that he would overlay his clips, David decided that he would just create his own music. And this is when he found his true passion and he started writing songs just in his notes app on his iPhone. He would record his songs on his iPhone and he would actually record them in a little studio he created in his sister's closet. And when the social media platform TikTok started gaining popularity, David, who was about like 16, 17 years old, started to upload his songs on TikTok. And a few of them actually went Omega viral on the app in the year 2022. I remember this time and it actually felt like for a few months, I couldn't scroll without hearing the chorus of his most famous song here with me, just over and over and over again. The one that goes, I don't care how long it takes. That one. So when his songs really started to blow up on social media, David, who was only a teenager, was signed to a major record label, inner scope records, which apparently included quote, a multi million dollar advance. And this is what really just shot David into being one of these like fastest growing music stars of his generation. David opened for the artist Siza in 2023. He performed at Coachella in 2025 on the exact same night that lady Gaga was headlining. And other than that, he's also just been connected to some of the other biggest names in the music industry today. He was photographed with a Billie Eilish, who I know needs no introduction. Everyone knows Billie Eilish. He did multiple live streams with members of the girl group Katzai, who I would also say is some of like the fastest growing music stars right now. Katzai has been everywhere in the past year and a half. He didn't interview with Benny Blanco, who is not just Selena Gomez's boyfriend. He is actually one of the most influential names in music for probably the past 15 years or so. Either writing or producing hits like teenage dream. I kissed a girl and hot and cold for Katie Perry moves like Jagger and Payphone from her own five TikTok and we are who we are for Kesha. He did stereo hearts for the Jim Class Heroes, Diamonds by Rihanna, Dynamite for Teo Crews and Love Yourself by Justin Bieber. In March of 2025, David released his debut album called Withard. And he actually started his world tour for his debut album in August of 2025. So he was actually on tour for his debut album when this girl's body was found in the front trunk of his Tesla and very quickly the rest of his tour was canceled following the news. And also very quickly after that, David started hiring a team of very high profile defense lawyers. I know one of his lawyers actually represented Harvey Weinstein. David has to this day still not publicly addressed anything revolving this case, but his team very shortly after the news that his body was found in his car did release a statement where they said that David was fully cooperating with authority. LAPD got his search warrant for his home that he was living out of in the Hollywood Hills in LA. His home that he was living in at the time was suspiciously only 150 feet away from the street where his Tesla was left abandoned with the remains of a girl inside of. The home that David was living in at the time actually did not belong to him. He owns multiple homes and multiple states with the home that he was living in in Hollywood Hills was being rented by his manager and apparently cost $20,000 a month to rent. We do have confirmation that this is where David was staying at at the time and his neighbors confirmed that this is where he was always staying and that this exact same Tesla was always parked outside of this house. And in the search that LAPD did, they searched his home for 12 hours and they removed many, many items but they were very tight-lipped throughout the entire early days of this investigation. Because of how severely decomposed the remains were that were found in David's Tesla it took a very long time to actually get any information on who this was as well as an identification. But on September 17th, it was finally publicly identified that the remains discovered in David's car were that of a 14 year old girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez. She had been missing for over a year and a half before her remains were discovered. In the first few weeks of this case it was very heavily publicized that Celeste was 15 years old actually but that's because her body was actually found the day after what would have been her 15th birthday, but we do now have confirmation that Celeste was only 14 years old when she died and she never made it to 15 years old. Celeste Rivas Hernandez was born on September 7th, 2010. She was only a middle school student when she died and unfortunately what happened so often in cases like this it really does seem like Celeste herself has been lost in her own story. A lot of people that know this case very briefly, no David, but I bet a majority of them couldn't even tell me Celeste's full name or really anything else about her and if that's not bad enough already there has been so many comments made about her and her family that are just incredibly insensitive and disrespectful. It's really important to me that we're on the same page here and if you come onto my channel or my podcast and you want to leave an insensitive and disrespectful comment for just a sake of being a troll that you remember that in this case there is a 14 year old girl that lost her life after potentially being groomed for many many many years. She was 14 years old, a middle school student potentially being groomed and exploited and abused since she was 11 years old. I don't want to get ahead of myself but Celeste was a daughter, she was a sister, she was a friend, there's people in this case that truly loved Celeste and are currently now going through one of the worst things if the worst thing that has ever happened to them in their entire lives. Your words can really hurt people and you need to live with that for the rest of your life. So before you come on here wanting to leave a nasty insensitive disrespectful comment for me, David, stuff like that you just need to remember that and ask yourself if your troll comments for attention is really worth it. I just really wanted to get that off my chest before we dive any deeper. Celeste was living in Lake El Sonor California which is about 75 miles away from LA where her body was discovered. As a student at Lakeland Village Middle School Celeste was a very smart and hardworking student but as she entered her preteen and then teenage years there was a change in Celeste and the evidence might prove that the reason for that change was because Celeste was being groomed since she was only 11 years old. Between Valentine's Day 2024 and April 5th 2024 Celeste ran away 3 times but on that final time she never came home. Celeste was last seen by her family on April 5th 2024 when she was only 13 years old. Her mother said that her 13 year old daughter was going to see a movie with her boyfriend named David but never returned home and Celeste's mother said that she knew her daughter was dating a guy named David but that she never met him. The investigation into what and possibly who caused Celeste's death was a very difficult one because of just how badly decomposed her body was for a very long time they couldn't confirm a manner of death, a cause of death or a time of death. An investigator for really not giving any information to the public for a very long time which led a lot of people to try and fill in the blanks for themselves. There has been an investigation done by internet sleuths like I have never seen before in a true crime case. And for the record most of what I'm going to tell you for this section of the investigation has not been confirmed especially in this day and age of AI just take most of what I'm going to be delivering to you with just a grain of salt. The people of the internet have pretty much dove into both David's and Celeste's in higher digital footprint for their entire lives. And they believe that they have uncovered evidence that since David was 18 years old he has been connected to Celeste since she was only 11 years old. And even darker than that they believe that they have evidence that the two were actually in a romantic relationship and I use air quotes because if that is true and it really does seem like it is true then this is not a relationship because David was an adult. He was either 18, 19 or 20 years old and Celeste was 11, 12, 13, 14 years old. So he's an adult. She is a child. He is a predator and she is a victim. So it is believed that Celeste and David met online either in one of his fortnight life streams or on his discord where he had a very large online community of his fans. These internet sleuths have gone all the way back like years back into David's discord and they believe that they have found interactions between David and Celeste. As far back as 2021 when Celeste would have been 11 years old and David would have been 18. You can see in this screenshot David asks if Celeste is in the discord and she says yeah I'm here, bark bark. Photos have also been leaked online that seem to show David and Celeste together in some of these photos. The girl which people believe is Celeste is either covering her face. Some of them she's not covering her face. There has also been leaked Instagram stories from both of their Instagrams as well as close friend stories. There's screenshots from FaceTime calls, Snapchat's live streams. There's pictures on his Instagram where you can see a girl that looks a lot like Celeste in the background. In one photo Celeste is wearing a bracelet and in another photo that David posts to his Instagram account it looks like he's wearing the exact same bracelet. These sleuths have even gone on to what they believe is Celeste and David's Spotify accounts and see playlists where the two appear to be collaborators on. Some of David's neighbors have done interviews where they claim to have seen the two of them all the time at David's house together in LA and even friends of David's in the music scene in LA have also confirmed that there is a connection between David and this young girl Celeste and that he would bring her to Hollywood parties, 18+ events to the recording studio and also to hangouts after recording sessions. There's even posts that were made on Instagram in the summer of 2024 where you can see what appears to be Celeste backstage at one of David's concerts. But these unnamed people in the Hollywood music scene claim that David introduced this girl Celeste as a 19 year old college student at USC and confirmed that she had IDs but they must have been fake IDs. Now I can totally believe that David did introduce Celeste as this 19 year old college student but what I definitely have a very hard time believing is that everyone believed it because you look at this girl. She's so clearly 13, 14 years old and I have a very hard time believing that anyone would believe that this is a 19 year old college student and there's possibly evidence that people did know that he was involved with an underage girl. There has been a clip floating around recently that was posted in April of 2025 to Jack Helen Bax Instagram account now this Jack guy was actually the producer for David's debut album and in this video people believe that this guy right here is David and you can hear someone in the video ask him are you still dating that minor? Now in the video unfortunately we can't see who's asking this or who is asking it to or what the context is but I don't think that there's any context that makes it okay to ask someone quote are you still dating that minor? Jack Helen Bax has since made all of his social media accounts private so it really does seem at least in David's personal life that he was not hiding whatever connection he had to Celeste, but he was also not hiding it on his social media either. There's a live stream that David did that shows a girl in the background that looks a lot like Celeste. One of his fans screenshotted this live stream and then posted it to his discord account where he asked David who this girl was and David replied calling the fan of Fed, which is short for a federal agent like an FBI agent, which is an odd thing to say when someone asks who the girl is and you say, oh, you're an FBI agent if you're supposed to be with that girl. It's an odd thing to say if that girl, you know, isn't underage. And then in January of 2024, there's a now very infamous live stream between David and a girl that looks a lot like Celeste. And you can actually see in the chat on the side, I'll pause it so you can see it, that people refer to Celeste by name in the chat. So it really does seem like whoever's girl is is named Celeste. While during this live stream, the girl that people believe is Celeste mentions that they should delete this live stream implying that she knows and he knows that they shouldn't be on live together. And then I guess other people in the chat know that they're doing something wrong because someone in the chat that mentions that David is going on the Epstein list, which is in reference to Jeffrey Epstein, someone connected to a lot of abuse against minors. And after this Epstein comment, David completely freaks out. The girl then jokes, the girl that people believe is Celeste, jokes about David assaulting children. And then they both just immediately start like spamming that they need to delete the live stream. David asks the moderators on his stream to delete everything in connection to this live stream. I'm media-trained you. That's controversial. It's controversial of rap kids. Really good one. It's been a good one. Bye. Bye guys. Delete everything. Delete everything. Everything goes. Everything goes. Everything. Y'all are not dead. Now you're going to have to, yo, yo, yo, yo, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, look at it. Answer that one. That's so mean if you don't have to. Which one? Which one? Which one? Which one? And these connections between David and Celeste absolutely do not stop here. It was confirmed by Celeste's mother and also later Celeste's autopsy that she had a tattoo on her right index finger in red ink that said, like, like you're telling someone to quiet down or keep a secret. And you can see in photos that David had the exact same tattoo in the exact same place. So it seems like David and this underage girl had matching tattoos and the tattoo itself, like that. It kind of seems like they have a secret between them. Like, maybe it's implying their secret illegal relationship. In a now deleted close friends Instagram story highlight that Celeste allegedly posted to her Instagram account, she posted a photo of another tattoo she had in red ink on her left ring finger, which is the finger that you put wedding rings on. And this tattoo says the name David. And you can also see in this photo on that exact same finger what looks like to be either a promise ring or an engagement ring. And in another photo of this tattoo, you can also see David in the background. Solofs have dived so far into David's social media accounts that they've gone back and looked at years of TikToks and also thousands of comments made to his TikTok videos. And on top of that, they've looked into Reddit forums, his discord, his YouTube comments, his Instagram comments. In March of 2024, a month before Celeste went missing in David's discord, they were discussing his relationship status. One fan asks if David has a girlfriend. And another fan says, yes, and that her name is Celeste. In a TikTok that was posted on April 2nd, 2025, you can see a purse in the background of his video, which is the same purse that a girl really resembling Celeste is holding in a photo with David covering her face. And this purse has allegedly been confirmed by people in her life to be Celeste's handbag. In a TikTok that David posted in February, it shows him washing a bunch of shoes. He washed a pair of Jordans that are absolutely identical to a pair that Celeste owned. And he also cleans a pair of a Hello Kitty shoes. And this is extremely important because very much every single person in Celeste's life said that the girl was absolutely obsessed with Hello Kitty, even in her missing person's poster, where it says what Celeste was last seen wearing. It literally says that she was wearing Hello Kitty shoes. In an Instagram story highlight that was allegedly posted to Celeste's Instagram account, it shows what appears to be Celeste grabbing a Hello Kitty keychain that is on someone else's pants. And the text on the photo says B.F. Kitty or maybe best friend's kitty or boyfriend's kitty. You can't see anyone's face in the photo, but the shoes that the girl is wearing as taking the photos apparently the exact same Hello Kitty shoes that Celeste was last seen in when she told her mom that she was going to the movie with her boyfriend David and then never ever came home. And again with this Hello Kitty keychain that is shown in this highlight, the exact same Hello Kitty keychain can be seen hanging from David's pants in a TikTok that was posted to his TikTok account right before Valentine's Day in 2024, which is relevant for two reasons, actually three reasons. One, it makes it extremely likely that the person in Celeste's Instagram account is David. Two, this TikTok was posted right before Celeste ran away for the first time. She ran away for the first time in Valentine's Day 2024. And three, on the text on this TikTok that David posted, where he's wearing this Hello Kitty keychain, he said that he has a Valentine this year and that he can't stop falling for her. And just a few days after he posted that TikTok around Valentine's Day, David posted another TikTok. And in this one, he's talking about having a girlfriend. And I'm assuming most of his fans were unaware of his relationship status because in the comments they were discussing, "Oh, I thought he was single. Does he have a girlfriend?" And asking in the comments who David's girlfriend was. And another TikTok user tagged the TikTok account with the username 0907. And this is extremely relevant because the TikTok user name at 0907 could possibly be September 7th. 0907, September 7th, Celeste's birthday, which makes it possible that this is Celeste's TikTok account that this TikTok user was tagging when someone asked who his girlfriend was. On January 26th, 2024, a fan of David's commented on one of his TikToks asking David to adopt him. And David himself tagged this 0907 TikTok account saying, "Should we?" So this is absolute confirmation that David knew whoever owned this TikTok account and is acknowledging them in sort of a couple way, tagging them and saying, "Should we adopt this person together?" And speaking of Celeste's birthday, September 7th, I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, but there is a hell of a lot of connections between David's music and Celeste's birthday. So it is believed that they first became connected when Celeste was 11 years old. Well, David released the romantic homicide music video on what would have been Celeste's 12th birthday. And then he released the video for his song Rehab on her 13th birthday. And then he posted to his Instagram account the announcement for his Deluxe album on what would have been Celeste's 15th birthday. The day before her body was found in his car. So already, there's so much to unpack here and I'm sure you guys are asking yourself so many different questions. How was it so obvious that there was a connection between this famous adult and this child and nobody noticed? Well, I've already told you that there's people in David's life that knew about Celeste, but that people in Celeste's life know about David. Well, that's a big question here and a lot of people in Celeste's family have received a lot of criticism in this case. At the time that I wrote this section of this script, there was not any 100% confirmation that anyone in Celeste's life knew that she was with this David, this famous adult David. Things might have changed very recently, so we will unpack that later on in this episode since we are diving into this in chronological order. But before we know anything in this case, I know there's been a lot of criticism directed at her family. I just want you to think before you comment anything blaming her family, because like I said, hindsight is always 2020 and I'm sure if time travel was a thing her family would go back in time and undo a lot of what has been done in this case. And remember, this is a family and a community that is currently suffering the worst thing that's ever happened to them. There has definitely been a lot of allegations that her family was aware that she was dating this David, this music star famous adult singer. David and didn't do anything and didn't care. There has also been allegations that people in Celeste's life were actually getting money from David to keep quiet about him in Celeste's relationship. There has also been alleged leaked DMs between Celeste's brother and one of his friends discussing this David case and in those DMs, this person that is allegedly Celeste's brother says that they knew David, they knew how old he was, they even met him. I know some people here on YouTube and their podcasts have definitely dove into these DMs. I'm gonna choose to not go over them too much just because we don't even know if these are real. It's completely 100% so easy to fake DMs nowadays. So I will definitely put them on the screen if you want to pause the video and read over them yourself. But I'd rather spend the time that we have together this week talking about things that have a little bit more bones to them. And there definitely is evidence that people in Celeste's life did know about her relationship with the music star David. Some of Celeste's friends and classmates have been on the record in interviews saying that they knew of her relationship with this famous David and she would talk about it, show them texts and pictures of them together on her phone at school. Celeste's ex-boyfriend, a boy named Damien I believe, has also done an interview where he confirmed that he knew that she was dating this famous adult guy David and other people at school knew about him. In this interview he said that Celeste told him at school that she was planning to run away and that was actually the last time he ever spoke to her because after that she ran away and was never seen again since. She told me my friend that she was running away and she said it was because of her appearance and she was joking about it and she was happy like joking like she always was and like it didn't seem real because she was playing around joking about it and the next day she was in the school and that's the last time I saw her. And in this interview he also says when the news broke that a body was found in this famous singer David's car he knew right away before it was even confirmed that it was going to be Celeste. My heart dropped. I was like I don't know. I just couldn't believe it. I thought I mean like I had a feeling when I saw like the first thing. I was like what if it is her? I just like brushed it off but when I saw it really by the way Celeste was like you know everything you know. Now I've told you that Celeste ran away two times before this final time where she never came home again. I actually have a video I'm gonna play for you that might allude that even people that worked at Celeste's middle school knew that she was in an illegal relationship with a famous adult. After Celeste's body was found in David's car a teacher that worked at her school was filmed secretly by one of his students where he's like almost gossiping about Celeste and her body being in this famous guy's car. And this teacher actually claims in the video that he was Celeste's teacher at the time that she went missing at the time that she ran away. I'm gonna play the video for you. You can watch it make up your own opinions and then I'm gonna tell you my opinions on this video. In front of this poster right here. Hold up I got another one because I got a picture on TMZ of this other key exchanging stuff with the rapper who we elected. Did this stuff? Hold on a second because he's also in my classroom. We all just found out yesterday who it was but she's been missing since I taught her. So when I taught her she met this dude on social media. He was a rapper in LA. He came and got her. She ran away from home. She was gone for like a month. The cops found her and Holly lived brought her back to our school. She came back to our school kind of told people the story. She disappeared again in May of that year. May of 2024. That's when her friends told me what happened. Then it was this rapper and then I found out yesterday that she's now dead in that rapper's car cut into pieces. You want to know how they met? I feel like I'm going to set it social media. I gotta be honest I don't like this video. I don't really like this teacher. I don't like the way that this middle school teacher is talking about one of his middle school students that he literally had in his class and then she was found murdered and dismembered in the trunk of an adult male that was allegedly grooming her. It sounds like he's gossiping in this video. I don't like his tone. I don't like the way that he's talking. He later came out and made a statement and apologized and said that he wasn't trying to be disrespectful or insensitive and instead he was just trying to teach his middle school students about the dangers of talking to adults online. I don't know. I just really I just really find that video really icky. I don't like that this teacher is talking about someone that was literally his student when she went missing and then was later found murdered and dismembered and there has been even more evidence that has come out that shows that not only do people know about the connection between David and Celeste but it was pretty common knowledge how old she was. This comment is really crazy because it actually comes out before Celeste even went missing for that final time when she disappeared ran away the first time. In February of 2024 someone commented on David's TikTok that they were waiting for the LAPD to get his ass for messing with a 13-year-old girl. Again, this is two months before she ran away for that final time. So way over a year before her body was found in his car. Imagine setting your makeup then forgetting it's even there. August of 2024 there was a comment on David's Discord account about Celeste being missing and this comment included Celeste's full name Celeste Rivas Hernandez and again that's in August of 2024. Her body was found in his car until September of 2025 and then there wasn't even like confirmation with her name in connection to David until September 25 and this comment with her full legal name on David's Discord about her being missing was in August of 2024 which is absolutely insane and there's even more. On Reddit after it was announced in the news that a body was found in the singer David's car but before Celeste was identified to the public someone shared on Reddit quote this guy is a pedophile from what I've heard my sister who's now in 9th grade told me that he was dating an 8th grader. Let's call her C and she would go on trips with him to L.A. They're all in 9th grade now and it turns out that C's friends knew and he would pay them to keep their mouths shut. C has been missing for over a month now and no one knows her whereabouts definitely something strange going on. In a separate comment this user clarifies that when they mentioned she's been missing for over a month now they don't mean officially missing she's been officially missing since April of 2024 but they meant she's been missing for over a month like none of her friends had heard from her in over a month like they had been in contact she'd been texting them calling them but no one heard from her in over a month now. It's also wild to me that this is now the second comment about David paying people off to not talk about his relationship with Celeste and this Reddit user later did confirm that the C that they were referring to was in reference to Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Another Reddit user also posted it and again this was before Celeste's name was public knowledge and connection to David and in this comment they mentioned the exact area where Celeste was from I'll read you this as well quote this guy is a weirdo a close friend's little sister from LE ran away last year and this is who she was with we think her sister was pimping her out she was in seventh grade at the time LAPD sweeped his place in the hills I'm terrified that that's who's in his car nobody has heard from her months I won't release her name since she's still a minor but she was from Lake Elsinore now these are most of the connections between David and Celeste I have been uncovered I'm saying most because we do have a few more that we're gonna go over in a later but I'm also saying most because I really fell down the rabbit hole for this episode and if I was gonna tell you like every single thing that people had speculated was about Celeste or speculated about David this episode would easily be six hours long like I saw some people debating whether or not a shadow in David's Instagram post was Celeste or not like it looked like yeah we'd be here for six hours if I went over every single thing that people have debated and speculated and theorized on this case and connections between David and Celeste a lot of people that are still fans of David will look at all these connections between David and Celeste her name being posted in his YouTube comments and his Instagram comments on reddit on discord and his tiktok comments and they will say that they can explain it they obviously ignore the comments I use Celeste's age or her full government name or the town where she lives but they claim that all all of these references. to a girl named Celeste, in connection to David, is just a different Celeste. A second Celeste, if you will. In the summer of 2025, a second girl also named Celeste, started popping up in David's life. But this Celeste, Celeste Herrera, is not a minor. She's 23 years old. It has been theorized that David brought a second Celeste into his life that was an adult and looked very similar to the child Celeste, to use her as a cover. If there's any photos with him and Celeste, or any connections to her name, he can just say that that was actually this adult Celeste. And what makes this theory even more terrifying? It is believed that the time that this adult Celeste are popping up was right after David murdered the child Celeste, 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. In a video with the second Celeste, the adult Celeste, and we do know 100% confirmation that this video is the adult Celeste, not Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The second Celeste is wearing a, what looks like to be a black zip up gap hoodie. Well, that's the exact same hoodie that the child Celeste, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, is wearing in her missing person's poster. Now, this is just speculation. All of this is just speculation. But some people have theorized that David even gave the adult Celeste child Celeste's hoodie after he killed her to use as even more of a cover. I don't know, it's so icky. And again, all of this is just speculation, not facts as of right now. As well as diving into David's social media accounts, people have really dove into his music career, his song lyrics, his music videos. And what it shows is a young man obsessed with death and murder. I know that there's a thing called artistic expression and artistic freedom, but the amount of death, murder, violence, blood, in this man's very short music career shows a pattern, especially with what he's been accused of doing. In David's music videos, you can see bodies being loaded into the trunks of cars, men killing women, just lots and lots of murder. Also, a lot of girl actors used in his videos look very similar to Celeste. And in some of these music videos, a girl that looks like Celeste is being killed by David. During some of his concerts, David would even bring out coffins on stage and he's even sold merch that is covered in what is supposed to be like blood splatters. That merch specifically is tied into what David refers to as the David verse. And this blood splattered t-shirt, this, I mean, this blood splattered button up shirt, is what David calls his evil alter ego. It's this evil serial killer version of himself. And you want, I'm just gonna let David explain this evil version of himself to you. Introduce a character that I had been kind of ideating for a really long time. That's why you see him with the blindfold and the bloody shirt aesthetic and the bow tie. I'm really big into anime and I'm really big into manga. And I wanted to make my own manga series at one point. And I was writing a lot of poems and writing a lot of things for it. And a big part of that manga was an evil version of me, named Atami, which means pain in Japanese. And he wears his blindfold and he's basically an agent of chaos and kind of my alter ego. And the story of the manga went like I was a detective. And there was an evil version of myself that would kind of come out at random moments, kind of like fight club with Tyler Durden. And he would commit the crimes that I would have to solve as a detective. So like when I was as a detective, I'd be like solving murders that I'm committing myself. And I feel like I can even prove that this pattern of blood, violence, murder shown in his very short music career is not just artistic freedom and artistic expression because David on his own discord even admitted that he has an obsession with gore and violence. He said that he used to watch gore videos. He used to be obsessed with watching gore videos. And I don't want to put words in his mouth, but I'm pretty sure that's in reference to websites like Bescore.com where people upload real videos of people being murdered for sickos to watch and enjoy. And I think that's what David said. He used to be obsessed with watching. But again, that's just my own theory, I don't know. In some of his songs, like his song literally named Romantic Homicide, he has lyrics like I just killed you and I didn't even regret it. There's lyrics like he might have you, but I have your ghosts. You told me we would never be more than friends, but I don't really care, I'm gonna put it to an end. You never really cared about me, it was just pretend. I told you to keep it 10 or you'll end up dead. And then there's even lyrics like the one I told you about at the beginning of this episode. I don't care how long it takes as long as I'm with you. Some people think that this love song, this lyric, is about him saying that he doesn't care how long it takes for Celeste to turn 18 so they can legally be together. There's also some unreleased songs of David that have leaked and we have recorded versions of these songs, recorded by David. So they're not fake, even though they really do seem fake just because of how damning these unreleased songs are. In this unreleased song, David sings, nobody ever caught me, but I've spoken too soon in the back of a police car. I forgot whatever I knew. I ain't telling nothing, do the same if they ask you about her. There's a song that David even performed live. And if this live performance didn't exist, I would think that this song is like a fake leak. It's literally called love for felony, which in itself already sounds like a confession, love for felony, love, okay, whatever. Well, this song's lyrics include, on the corner of the street, I got a felony, but I don't care about the law when I'm with you 'cause I'll be breaking it all of the time. ♪ Won't you let me slow it down? ♪ ♪ Yes, no one, baby. ♪ ♪ I'd say that I'd say, yes, 'cause it's too low brown. ♪ ♪ But I'm felony, don't care about skin, I'm felony. ♪ ♪ And if you look up for love, I think they sell it in. ♪ ♪ On the corner of the street, I'm felony, love. ♪ And then, in probably the most damning of David's unreleased songs, he has an unreleased love song that is called Celeste. This song includes lyrics like, "Oh Celeste, the girl with my name tattooed on her chest. "Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes. "I hear her voice each time I take a breath, I'm obsessed. "Oh Celeste, afraid you only love me when I'm undressed. "Oh, you look so damn gorgeous in this dress, "missing you so much makes me depressed, but I digress." Now, obviously Celeste did not have David's name tattooed on her chest, at least that we know of, but we do believe that his name was tattooed on her left ring finger, which will be really important to remember in some updates that we have coming up very, very soon, and they are very, very disturbing. Now, for a very, very long time, investigators were not really saying anything to the public in regards to this case after identifying Celeste as the body that was found in David's car. It actually took seven months for any major updates in this case, which takes us to present time. Because when the LAPD investigators at the DA's office and the prosecutors actually did start talking, they were dropping bombshells. It all really began two weeks ago from today's date, which was April 17th, 2026, when the LAPD released on social media that David, David Anthony Burke, has been arrested in suspicion of murder for the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, and that he was being held without bail. Now, this arrest was arrests in suspicion of murder, so there wasn't actually any charges against David at that time, and the following Monday from that date, he was going to go to court to see what charges, if any, he was going to be facing, and on that Monday, he was officially charged with First Degree Murder with Special Circumstances, and he's also being accused of continuous sexual abuse and lute in the severe acts of a child under 14 years old, in the medilation of human remains which is in reference to Celeste being dismembered after she was killed. And David Anthony Burke, the singer David, has pled not guilty to all charges. There was also a press conference released with members of the LAPD, the chief of the LAPD, the DA's office, and many others to discuss these charges. It was also revealed for the very first time that investigators believed that they knew the exact day that David murdered Celeste. They believed that she was killed after being lured over to his home on April 23rd, 2025. So just over a year ago, confirming that she was only 14 years old when she died. So the special circumstances in this first-degree murder charges were lying in wait, murdering a witness in an investigation. The claim is that Celeste was a witness to a crime, specifically the continuous sexual abuse happening to her, the hands of David, and that she was killed by David to prevent her from exposing his crimes against her. This could also imply that there was an investigation currently happening against David for his crimes against Celeste when she was killed, and they said during the press conference, if this investigation was a thing that it would come out in court. And the third special circumstance was murder for a financial gain at the claimants that he killed her to protect his music career. Now this was the first time that a man or a death was even released, prior to this, it was not confirmed, although heavily speculated whether or not this was homicide. And now we have 100% confirmation that Celeste's manner of death was a homicide. Not only that, we got a time of death that they believe that they know the exact date when David killed Celeste. And once the autopsy was released, there was also now a cause of death. And the autopsy revealed that 14-year-old Celeste, Rivas Hernandez, was stabbed to death. She was stabbed twice in her abdomen, one in her chest and once in her stomach. The autopsy also debunked a rumor that was floating around online for the past seven months. People speculated that the motive for David killing Celeste was that she was pregnant. The autopsy confirmed that that Celeste was not pregnant and she hadn't been pregnant in the last year. But the autopsy did reveal some other very disturbing things. This is when we got, for the first time, 100% confirmation from members of the LAPD that Celeste was dismembered. Her limbs were cut off from her body and then were also cut into different pieces. Her body parts were then wrapped in plastic and also put into bags, even put into an actual body bag before being put into the trunk of David's car. The autopsy also revealed that Celeste's pinky finger on her left hand and her ring finger on her left hand were cut off of her hand and to this day have never been found, which is very disturbing for multiple reasons, but also because Celeste's left ring finger, it is believed she had a tattoo of David's name. So it is theorized that David cut off her finger and again, it's never been found to this day to hide the fact that she had his name tattooed on her. And now that we have an actual day, where it is believed that Celeste was murdered, people have been going back into David's social media accounts and they've been able to create a new timeline of events. In an interview that David did to promote his new debut album Withard that he did with Zach Sang, David talks about a girl in a breakup and he says that this girl is not in his life anymore. So this interview was posted on social media after it is believed that David murdered Celeste, but in the interview, David and Zach talk about how it was just David's birthday the week before, which would put this interview actually being filmed on or around April 11th, 2025. So about 12 days before Celeste was murdered. But it does at least prove that there was, you know, some kind of going on at the time that Celeste died, you know, some sort of friction between the two at the time. I believe the last time you were here, you didn't, didn't you say you never experienced love or hadn't been in love, you didn't? Yeah, I was in a relationship then. But today you are? Or are you not? I've been through a club while I'm single today, but I've been through a few and they've taught me a lot of things and they've shown me what love is and what love isn't and how to approach it and how to be human with it and not be so artists, you know, and I look for the things to write about in these types of situations and I've kind of been more mature about it and getting emotionally intelligent with it and and the irony of it was that person that I was saying, I love you. I love you. She's not in my life anymore. So it's like people say that the string can't be cut and the connection cannot be severed, but I feel like it can sometimes. And that's why I wanted to put, you know, afterlife and all these songs that feel like endings and conclusions and goodbyes on the project to kind of solidify that message of this is the end of something, not the beginning. People have also uncovered a video of David performing on June 5th, 2025, so about a month after it's believed that David murdered Celeste and he is singing his song After Life and visibly very upset performing this and crying to the point where he can barely even get his own lyrics out. So much more information has come out in just the past few days. Something people have been talking about for the past seven months is David's Tesla. This Tesla not only had cameras on the inside of the Tesla, but there were eight cameras on the outside of the Tesla and it would film who got into the Tesla through all the doors and also who was opening the trunk. The Tesla also records information like when the car was last driven, where it was driven, where it was last parked. The Tesla can also only be unlocked and locked through the owner's app or this like credit card looking Tesla key and it is confirmed that they have video from the Tesla and they can confirm who was the last person to drive it and who was the last person to park it where it was abandoned with Celeste's body inside of it. And if that is true, then I also believe that they have video of who put Celeste's body in the trunk of David's Tesla. And I do believe that that information will be coming out very, very soon because we've been getting so much information in just the past handful of days. We've also just gotten so much confirmation in what the investigators found in that 12 hour search they did of David's home and it is a lot. So I'm going to go through all of this new information in like chronological order and like the order that the public received it from the investigators and the prosecution. Just late last week, David was in court and the prosecution confirmed that they used a wire tap in their investigation so they have recorded phone calls as part of their evidence in this case, but they did not confirm who was on these phone calls or what was discussed during these phone calls. But I'm sure that we will get that information as the court process progresses, but it's super interesting because there has been so much speculation that David got help in not only the murder, but the cover up of Celeste's death. And I definitely personally believe that there was potentially multiple hands in this crime. But again, I'm sure we'll get that information in the next handful of weeks, fingers crossed, and there's definitely a possibility of more charges against more people, not just dated. Prosecution also confirmed that they have over 40 terabytes of digital evidence against David. Now for anyone that's not in the tech space or like photography, content creator space, 40 terabytes is absolutely insane. So for anyone that might not know just how much 40 terabytes is, I'm going to help put it in perspective. So 40 terabytes is equivalent to about 10 million photos or 100 years of continuous video. So they have over a lifetime worth of evidence, digital evidence against David. And some of that digital evidence that the prosecutors confirmed that they have against David was found in his cell phone and also in his eye cloud accounts. And they confirmed that they found, quote, a significant amount of CSAM material. If you are unaware of that acronym, CSAM, it's now what people refer to instead of using the term CP, CSAM, SANS for child sexual abuse material. They have not confirmed if it's just less in the CSAM or if it's less at all or if it's other people or it's CSAM that he like, you know, seeked out to try and find on the internet. But there have also been plenty of accusations that Celeste was not the only minor that David preyed on, victimized, there has been a lot of accusations that there's other children victims of David. Now, just this past Wednesday, which for me was actually just yesterday, the version of me recording this right now, but for you, if you're watching this, the day it's uploaded will be two days ago. for you just as pass of Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, we got some new information and it is insane and very, very disturbing. David, the prosecution and the defense were all back in court on April 29th. And this court date was for the prosecution to file their case that they had against David that they were going to present at the preliminary hearing. And apparently during this court date, just, you know, just yesterday for me, the prosecution and the defense actually argued in the middle of the courtroom because the defense wanted to seal the information that the prosecution was presenting from the public because it is that damning against David. But the judge denied this information being sealed from the public. So we have this information. And again, it is extremely, extremely disturbing. The prosecution alleges that David and Celeste met when she was only 11 years old and he was 18 years old online and that they had been in an illegal romantic relationship and this relationship did become sexual. Now, I wrote the rest of the script before this section, before this new information came out. So we do have new information that I did not have when I wrote the prior sections of this script. Well, the prosecution does alleged that Celeste's family did know about her relationship with David and that she was running away to be with him. Prosecution claims that her family took Celeste's cell phone away from her to keep her away from David and to stop any contact between the two. They also alleged that David paid one of Celeste's eighth grade classmates $1,000 to give a cell phone that he bought to Celeste so he could keep in contact with her. Remember, it has been now said that Celeste was murdered on April 23rd, 2025. Well, the day before that on the 22nd, the prosecution alleges that David and Celeste were fighting that night back and forth their text messages. Celeste was angry because she found out that David was talking to and dating other girls. And in this conversation, the prosecution alleges that Celeste threatened to expose their relationship to ruin his career and destroy his life. So the next day, April 23rd, 2025, David called, he ordered an Uber for Celeste to be brought to his home. And when she got there, he was lying in wait. And then when she entered the home, he killed her by stabbing her to death. The prosecution alleges that he then waited for her to bleed out and die. They then alleged that he took her phone drove to Santa Barbara where he dumped some of her belongings. They did say that the investigators were able to find her belongings in Santa Barbara. And then David was texting Celeste from his phone stuff like, where are you? Where are you? What's happening to trying like, you know, create the story that she stood him up that day, even though her body was now in his home. He then returns to his home. And over the next few days, he makes several online purchases to be delivered to his home, which included a burn cage, a shovel, two chainsaws, a body bag, and a blue inflatable pool. Prosecutors claimed that he took the blue inflatable pool and put it in the garage of his home, put Celeste's body in the pool to prevent blood from getting anywhere in the garage. And then he dismembered Celeste's body with the chainsaws. And the prosecution claims that investigators found plastic fragments embedded into Celeste's remains that match the exact same kind of plastic that this inflatable pool was made of, the pool that David ordered and had delivered to his house from Amazon. They also confirmed that during that 12 hour search of his home, police found blood in his home that was matched to Celeste's DNA. Originally, David's defense team was requesting a speedy preliminary hearing that hearing was actually scheduled for May 1st, 2026, which would have been today, the day of upload. Many people believe that David's defense team was urging for this speedy hearing because they did not believe that the prosecution had enough evidence against David and wanted them to kind of like show their hands. And since the prosecution has shown their hand and shown that they have quite a lot of evidence against David, his defense team has now requested a bit more time to review the large amount of evidence and the hearing has now been delayed. And it will now take place if all goes a plan on May 26th, 2026. I know that I've personally seen a lot of people criticizing the LAPD for not making an arrest sooner, but I think now that we have kind of seen, you know, a bit behind the scenes and behind the curtain of what they've been doing in the past seven months and just how much of a thorough investigation they did and how much information and evidence they have uncovered. Remember, 40 terabytes of just digital evidence, aside from like forensic or physical evidence, just 40 terabytes of digital evidence. I really think that all of that criticism against LAPD should be put to arrest now. So what's next for this case and getting justice for Celeste Rivas Hernandez? Like I said, that next hearing is scheduled for May 26th, 2006. And I personally do not believe that the actual trial will start for a very, very long time. I'm thinking possibly even years from now before we actually see a trial date be set and actually go to trial. Unless, of course, David takes a plea deal. And I do think that that's also possible considering how much evidence is really against him at this point. But as of right now May 1st, 2026, David has denied any involvement in Celeste's death, and he has pled not guilty. But if convicted of first degree murder with the special circumstances, there is only two options for David if he is convicted. And that is life in prison without the possibility of parole or he will be sentenced to death. Let me know all of your thoughts.
