Neocon PANIC Over Blue Tsunami, with Jesse Kelly, Plus Shock Twist in Markle Investigation, and Blago on Prison and Freedom | Ep. 1435
1h 42m 38s
The Republican Party is facing a historic political collapse following the midterm elections, with sweeping losses in states like Texas, Iowa, and South Carolina. The primary cause cited is President Trump’s decision to launch a war with Iran, which triggered economic strain, public outrage, and a sharp drop in approval ratings. Critics argue that the war, and the failed ceasefire negotiated by Vice President J.D. Vance, was a pivotal mistake that alienated voters—especially working-class Americans struggling with inflation and rising costs. Conservative leaders like Mark Levin and Lindsey Graham are accused of downplaying the war’s impact, leading to accusations of dishonesty and political arrogance. The fallout also includes deepening scrutiny of the Trump family's financial dealings, such as Alina Haba’s $10 million salary and pardons for associates, which may become central to upcoming investigations by the Democrats. With Democrats gaining full control of Congress, they are expected to pursue sweeping reforms, including eliminating the Electoral College via the National Popular Vote Compact. Judicial shifts loom as Justice Alito may retire, and Democrats are unlikely to confirm any Trump appointees, potentially shrinking the Republican presence on the Supreme Court. The election results reflect a broader rejection of foreign interventionism and elite-driven policy, signaling a period of painful realignment for the GOP. While some see hope in a renewed, more responsible Republican movement, others warn that the party’s deep-seated corruption and mismanagement could lead to long-term institutional decline. The aftermath is not just political—it’s a cultural reckoning over trust, leadership, and the future of American governance.
Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at noon east.
Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show.
Well, Republicans are reeling after a bruising midterm election and the blame game is already underway.
Meanwhile, the fallout may mean changes in the Trump administration.
CBS News reporting Secretary of War Pete Hegseth could be on the chopping block
with one source telling the network that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is being floated
as a possible replacement. I don't know that he would even want that job. He seems to be
trying to position himself as an outsider who can take on some of the boneheaded moves by
the administration. Why would he want to join it? I mean, unless he has no presidential aspirations
whatsoever. The post-election shakeup in Washington may just be getting started.
Here with me today is Texas's own Jesse Kelly. He is the host of The Jesse
Kelly Show, which you can find each weeknight on the Megyn Kelly Channel, Sirius XM 111.
You might already own a firearm, but what if you could start with less lethal methods to avoid the
financial and mental repercussions of pulling the trigger? This is where Burna comes in. That's B-Y-R-N-A.
Burna's less lethal launchers are equipped with tear gas and kinetic ammo and designed to
incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes. And Burna is excited to introduce the all-new
compact launcher, the B-Y-R-N-A. The B-Y-R-N-A is an all-new compact launcher,
it is sleek, slim, and it hits like a sledgehammer. The same size as a smartphone,
allowing women to conceal carry everywhere comfortably and with confidence. It fires at
400 feet per second. That's a lot of power to stop aggressors in their tracks. I was just looking at
my pal Britt, her online recommendations for like, if the apocalypse comes, what should you use?
And would you know, Britt Mayer, she is recommending the Burna. Their pistols are American
made and hand assembled in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with over 80% of the components in the compact
launcher being sourced in the USA. Burna is legal in all 50 states, requires no background checks,
and can be shipped directly to your door. And it's trusted by hundreds of police departments too.
Try before you buy. Visit Burna.com to find a Burna dealer partner near you. That's B-Y-R-N-A.com.
Jesse, welcome back. Haven't heard your take yet on Tuesday's results. What do you make of it?
Well, it's about as bad as you could possibly imagine,
I do. There are some good things that might come of it, but it's about as bad as you could possibly
imagine. It's to get wiped out in places like Kansas, Iowa, Texas, South Carolina is such an
unbelievable repudiation on the Trump administration and Republicans in general. There's no other way to
look at it. People could try to wash their hands of it, but this was a punishment election. All the
polls show the Democrats are not popular. Everyone still knows they're sick, evil, and insane, but
they were very, very angry.
They were angry that the man they elected to lower prices instead raised them and then gave speeches
telling them that it's no big deal if they had to pay a little bit more. It's honestly one of the
biggest political catastrophes of my lifetime. The state of Texas is now blue. I have so many
Texas friends texting me and saying, how did this happen? I don't even know what to do now. It is
such a catastrophic disaster, Megan, and I'm not going to mince words on the whole thing. I can't
believe this happened two for two, two for two on Trump's terms. His first term, he has everything
going pretty well. Things are churning along, listens to the wrong people, and shuts down the
country for a chest cold. Destroys the whole rest of his presidency, allows Democrats to steal an
election, just destroys everything. Term two, okay, the tariffs were a little rough or whatever,
but deportations are going great. He's done so many great things. We are making real progress
and decides to just drop bombs on Iran because the
Graham told him to. I don't know what to say, Megan. If I sound frustrated, it's because I am.
Yeah, of course you are. We all are. We all feel it. We feel angry, just like the voters who voted
these guys out of office. They felt angry and dissatisfied. Those are the top two words that
they use to explain their votes. Republicans who voted Democrat, not in favor of Democrats,
but in favor of sending a message to the Republican Party, which was, we're burning it fucking down.
That's what we're doing.
It is burned down to ash. Get your shit together. That's really what they were saying.
Yeah, it is what they were saying. And actually, that leads me with all this anger,
which I'm sure I'll get back to in a moment. That does lead me to a conversation I was having with
my producer before the show on, you know, let's try to find some sort of a potential silver
lining here. Obviously, it's not good. I'm not going to pretend that it's good that we got our
doors blown off from state houses to the Senate, not saying it's good. However, remember those 15
Republicans who sponsored that amnesty bill with Maria Salazar? Yeah, two thirds of those people
are gone. That's just one example of how much gunk we did clean out here. Like, it's not ideal to get
cleaned out like this. Ideally, you want to clean out bad Republicans in primaries. You don't want
to hand the country over to the communists. That's not ideal. But if we have to rebuild,
sometimes you got to tear the house down to the foundation. And I'll tell you what,
we're about as torn down to the foundation as you could possibly be at this point.
In time, I think there's a chance it makes rebuilding the GOP into something that it has
not been a lot better. Yeah, you're right. We're down to the studs right now, which is great. I
mean, like, as somebody who just went through this problem, our house had mold. It had mold
everywhere. It was it got into the AC, the HVAC vents. And, you know, the little vent that shoots
the AC out of it in your house, it each one was covered in like black dots. We were like,
oh, my God. And you know what happened? We had to take that house down to the studs and it had to be
fumigated in the whole bit. Now, now it's fine. But that's what had to happen. You can't fight
that kind of a problem while keeping everything intact just around the edges. I really wish you
hadn't just told me that, Megan. I kid you not on my life. My wife, Aubrey, you know, she says hi.
She calls yesterday and tells me they found mold in our house yesterday. And now I'm sitting here
with Megan Kelly telling me she had to practice.
Take her house down because of the whole thing. This is a disaster.
We did. We did. It was our house in Jersey at the at the shore. And it was a nightmare. But it was
and I can walk you through offline exactly what you should do. And you should you should handle
it early as opposed to what we did. We didn't realize it was a problem until it was far too
late. It was far too infested. And then studs. And so that's where we are with the Republican
Party. We are we are at studs. They deserve it. And the question is how to rebuild. But to your
honest about how we got here. And I've been watching some of your online commentary. I did
long talking points memo yesterday and what I think got us here. It was, you know, many factors.
It was a complete repudiation of what Trump has been focused on for the past year of his
presidency. I think people were on board with the deportations, maybe not the excesses that
they saw in Minneapolis, but they were on board with getting rid of the illegals who came in under
Biden. They were on board with shutting down the border and so on. And then he just lost his way.
He launched a new Middle East war, which spiked prices in an economy that was already suffering
to some extent from tariffs and so on. He's talked all about the ballroom and renaming the Kennedy
Center and the reflecting pool and not about people's actual problems. Talk about how much
money he was making. Quote, we were making something that no working class voter felt
alienating them and enlarging the gulf between this elite sort of class of politicians and
regular people who were genuinely and are genuinely
suffering. And so what we have now, instead of an honest accounting on the disastrous
launch of the Iran war, is the people who talk Trump into it, pretending that had nothing to
do with it. We are being gaslit yet again by the same crew that got us into this about
why this happened. Across the board now, you are hearing from, you know,
all of the usual suspects. Ari Fleischer put it in writing on X, but he was
by far not the only one talking about it. It wasn't the Iran war, Jesse. It was the
ceasefire agreement. It was the disastrous ceasefire agreement that the president agreed
to. He used J.D. Vance to negotiate it. But you see, this is their chance to hit Vance.
They want him to bear the burden of their decision that they pressured Trump into making
in launching the war. They'd much rather get out of February, March, when Trump launched the war
after Bibi encouraged him to.
And all the hawks and the neocons told him to do it. And get to June, when Trump sent in J.D. Vance
to say, get this thing off my back. It's a monkey that I got to get rid of. And Vance came up with
a paper-thin agreement called a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian Revolutionary
Guard. And they violated it within two seconds. But it was popular because people just wanted
an end to the thing. And now that same crew that literally, they have blood on their hands. They
have actual blood of our troops on their hands. And now they have electoral blood on their hands.
This is the Republican Party is gone. Want to say all the problems around the Iran war come down
to the ceasefire. More than a decade, Megan. Donald Trump has been the leading voice in the
Republican Party for more than a decade. No question about it. He's been the unquestioned
leader of the Republican Party for more than a decade. Donald Trump has two years left in his
presidency. What we're experiencing, what you're describing right now is a succession fight. That's
the King is dead or dying.
the people underneath start squabbling to see who's going to actually sit on the throne in the
end. You mentioned the people and going after J.D. Vance and things like that. About 99% of the
political arguments you see from political people online now are simply a proxy war for the 2028
Republican nomination. They're a proxy war for that because J.D. Vance, and don't take this as
an endorsement of J.D. Vance. I like J.D. Vance a lot, by the way, but it's not that. J.D. Vance
represents the biggest, I'm not going to say a total separation, but the biggest separation we
have seen in my 45 years on this earth from the traditional GOP, big corporate, bring in as many
foreigners as possible, bomb every inch of the planet. J.D. Vance philosophically represents
the biggest separation from that of my entire lifetime. Well, all the people who've made their
entire living on that being the way things are, they are, and they are now, and they're going to
continue.
To launch an all-out war trying to stop his nomination, because if Donald Trump endorses
him, he's the vice president, the vice president's usually the presumptive nominee anyway. If he does
that with Donald Trump's endorsement, the race is over. It doesn't matter who else gets in.
And so what you're seeing is a proxy war for that and all this stuff. It's a proxy war for that.
There was no one more in the president's ear than Lindsey Graham, Mark Levin, Mark Thiessen,
and General Jack Keane.
Those were four of the biggest neocons urging President Trump to launch this war against Iran.
So what happens last night on Special Report? Mark Thiessen is there. Instead of saying,
I was wrong. This was a disaster. The Republican Party has been eviscerated because of my idea.
No, what did he say? He reacted to J.D. Vance's statement yesterday in which J.D. Vance said,
let's get real.
I've talked to the best pollsters in the business, and the reason we lost was the war. He's not saying
there were no other reasons. He's saying that was the real reason. That's when support started to
fall. And if you look at the reports in The Wall Street Journal today, even The Wall Street Journal,
which is as hawkish and neocon as they get, is admitting it was the war that crushed Trump's
approval rating. Things were going well for him prior to that. So J.D. Vance says this honestly
in his post yesterday. And here is, of all people, Mark Thiessen,
Fox last night.
I was kind of shocked by that statement that Vice President Vance put out. It was,
quite frankly, disloyal to the press in the United States. If you heard what he just said,
he said, I did it, and it might have affected the election, but I would have done it again
because it was the right thing to do for our national security. And Dasha called him on her
show yesterday, and he said the same thing. He's been saying over and over again,
it was the right thing to do. I didn't see Vice President Vance say it was the right thing to do.
I didn't see him say, Donald Trump is one of the most courageous presidents in my lifetime because
he took this very difficult position. I didn't see him say, Donald Trump is one of the most courageous
president in my lifetime. I didn't see him say, Donald Trump is one of the most courageous
decision and put the country ahead of his own political interests. 47 years, Iran has been
waging war on us. He's the first president to fight back. I didn't hear any of that. All I
heard was, we lost because of the Iran war, and if you want to defend that, go ahead. But you
better make that case. Well, that's the exact case that Donald Trump is making. He's saying
it was the right thing to do. Why is his vice president saying something different?
Because he wants to run for president?
Well, he needs Donald Trump's endorsement to run for president,
or he's not going to get the nomination.
Go, Fox, go. Your thoughts, Jesse?
You know, what really stood out to me of all the other things that were said there, Megan,
were, and I've seen a lot of this, so I'm going to, he's not the only one who said this, of
Donald Trump showed real political courage, sacrificing his, you know, political popularity
for whatever, the country or for whatever, for the greater good. This is our country.
It's not Donald Trump's country. Yes, he's part of it too. It's not that guy's country.
This is our country.
You don't get to be. You don't get to be courageous with my country. I live in a blue state today, Megan.
It's known as Texas. Maybe you've heard of it. God and churches and cowboy hats.
It was a red state like five minutes ago. But because of these disastrous decisions
by Trump and this guy, I now live in a blue state. Your courage is going to bring all kinds
of gayness in the classroom and foreigners flooding into my country. You were courageous
with my life.
With the life of my kids. With the life of my state. You weren't courageous, you scumbags.
You screwed us all.
You speak for me. All I want to hear from those guys is an apology. That's it. Either
nothing or an apology. That is it. And instead, you've got the revisionist, oh, you know,
J.D. Vance is disloyal. Meanwhile, where is he saying that the Iran war was a great idea?
He's one of the ones who was on record as opposing.
We all know that, which is why the neocons hate his guts. They're all out there trying
to do this spin. No one's taking accountability. There's a clip that's gone viral of Mark Levin
and Ben Shapiro shortly before the midterms saying this. Watch this.
My God, that was September. The exit polls show that the Iran war was either crucial or important
to 74 percent of the voters yesterday. Seventy four percent. Those idiots were out there telling
people it would have zero effect on the midterms. They're also the ones I don't know about Shapiro.
He wasn't.
I doubt the president talks to him, but Levin was 100 percent in the president's ear,
egging him along the entire way.
Yeah. And I think we have to acknowledge something, Megan, of why the war itself is
unpopular. All presidents. In fact, this applies to kings. Everybody who's ever led a country
in history, their ability to conduct war is based on the willingness of the people
to conduct that war. FDR, he was elected president nine thousand times,
and he kept getting to fight the largest war the world had ever seen before. Not because he was so
wonderful or because we could make a bunch of planes and things like that. He was able to fight
that for as long as he could because the American people were behind it. It is the will of the
people that that is the fuel that allows you to fight a war. So if the people are not with you
at all, you are signing your political death warrant and the death warrant of your party.
If you go fight one and many, many people in America and throughout history have decided
discovered that after enough time. If you'd like to talk to one of them, you can. His name is George
W. Bush, who presided over the complete destruction of the Republican Party because he wanted to fight
a war that got extremely unpopular with the American people. You cannot fight unpopular
foreign wars. And it is the height of arrogance to think you can look at the people and say,
shut up, pay a little more, quit whining about it. This is what I have decided to do.
It's our country, too. You come to us for permission to march the army off the war
and raise gas $4 a gallon. You don't get to just screw us. And if you do
screw us, you don't get to say, hey, what's my fault? Hey, it was totally worth it. It was
absolutely, positively not worth it whatsoever. I'm sorry. The gay race communists conquering the
United States of America is about 10,000 times more dangerous than Iran possessing a nuclear
weapon.
Not that I want Iran to possess a nuclear weapon. I don't like Iran. Screw the IRGC.
But to have the biggest demonic savages I've ever seen in my life conquer my country is
so much more important to me. I can't even see the Iran war. That's how much more important
it is to me.
Mm hmm. It was Michael Brenda Doherty of National Review is saying, oh, you know, the neocons,
they got their regime change. It happened here, not in Iran. It happened here. We are
having actual regime change here. The Wall Street Journal reports this. Listen to this.
Listen to this. How Trump lost the midterms. Again, keep in mind, this is the most neocony
publication there is. In mid-February, one of President Trump's economic advisors arrived
at the Oval with charts showing how the administration's policies might be making
America great again. Household income was up, particularly among low-income Americans.
Retirement accounts were strong, were soaring, and the nation's economic growth was even better
than projected. This is great stuff, said Trump. Within days, Trump made a decision
that would change everything. After campaigning on ending foreign wars,
Trump wagered on one of his own, triggering an open-ended conflict that has seen the deaths
of more than 20 U.S. service members, cost U.S. taxpayers more than $47 billion,
and pushed up the cost of everything from freight to fertilizer. That's it right there.
That is the conservative paper of record, which was cheerleading this thing all along,
admitting that was the moment everything changed. And there is zero point in denying it,
as the Ari Fleishers of the world would like to do. But it does tell us one thing, Jesse, which is
they won't change. They can't be a part of, when we build it up from the studs, they're out. They
cannot be a part of it. They should form their own fucking party, where it's just the pro-war party.
They can just launch bombs if they ever manage to get somebody elected again. And anybody with
whom we have a conflict, obviously, they'll just take their directions from BB Netanyahu. It'll work
out great for them. But they cannot be a part of it. They cannot be a
part of the coalition because they're dishonest and they're dangerous.
Well, you said that there's no point in
denying that, but I would actually probably disagree with you on that, Megan. If you're on
your last leg of political standing inside right-wing circles, whatever that is, and the
neocons most definitely are, you don't have any other options. There are no more tools in your
tool belt than to lie and deny about your responsibility for it. The United States of
America has been drifting away from foreign involvement for a long time, really since the
GWAT, the Global War on Terror, and all that. And as Americans have watched their own standard of
living decrease, which it has a lot in the last five years because people can't afford things,
as people have watched their standard of living go down, there's even less and less
desire for any involvement in any foreign country, any foreign war. The people, when they cannot
afford the power, when they can't afford health insurance, when they can't afford gas, they don't
want to hear about any other foreign war or why anything is really important or this foreign
country.
They don't want to hear it at all. But back to these people, if your entire political career
has been foreign this, foreign that, foreign this, foreign that, if that's your entire political
career, it doesn't exactly take a genius to figure out you are nearing the end of your relevancy
on the right. So you sit here today, you are at least partially responsible for the largest
Republican wipeout of my entire life by a mile, of most people's entire lives by a mile. You're
partially responsible for that.
How many are going to actually have the humility to step up and say, hey, my bad,
that's on me. No, you're sitting there panicking because for you, it's a five alarm fire of
political, you know, you're about to have no more political power, no more political influence at
all. You're done. They're still just pushing him to amp up the war in Iran. Like what we really
need to win it is ground troops. Okay.
This is, I don't even know what would happen to the Trump presidency at this point if he had the
nerve to try to launch ground troops in Iran to wrap this thing up. That cannot happen. But there
are multiple reports out today about Trump being bored with domestic issues anyway, that he's much
more focused on his legacy and he thinks he'll make his legacy with a robust foreign policy,
Jesse. So ironically,
what we're going to get in trying to rein in the foreign adventurism is more of it.
Well, one, let's hope that doesn't happen, Megan. But two, what you just described is not just the
Donald Trump thing. It's so common to people, to all leaders throughout history. I mean, you're
Crassus. You're sitting there in ancient Rome. You're the wealthiest man in Rome, extremely
influential. You have all the power in the world, all the money in the world. You can do whatever
you want, but you're looking out for the future. And so I think that's going to be a very, very
important issue. I think that's going to be a very, very important issue. And wondering what you could do if you marched an army over the horizon to fight the Parthians,
and he went and he died and his son's head ended up on the end of a spear. So that's generally how
it goes. But this is the thing. If I'm United States Senator Kelly, which we all know would
never happen, if I'm Senator Kelly from the state of Texas, am I going to care about Texas for a
while? Sure. But what picture is going to go on the mantle above my fireplace, Megan, when I
visited Abilene and helped them work out the water issues in Abilene? Do I want to go to the pancake
breakfast in Abilene? Or I could go meet with the prince somewhere. I could go to Paris. What
pictures are on the mantle? It's always the exotic foreign stuff that seems sexy. And it's always to
think presidents fall into this and members of the House of Representatives, senators fall into
this. Lindsey Graham, I don't think he ever visited South Carolina before.
He died. They just fall in love with these foreign adventures. And it's again, it's not just unique
to one party or America. This has been the case for so for throughout history. You fall in love
with marching an army over the horizon. And look, occasionally you find glory. Lots of times you
find you're in. Now, and here's here's a piece. OK, yeah, this is from the journal. They report.
Yeah. Every attempt at it with at a deal with Iran blew up.
And the president was frustrated. How do you even negotiate with these people? He complained to
advisers. Then he thought midterms didn't matter. They write. At times, Trump told his aides he
didn't care about the midterms at all, said a senior administration official who talked to him.
The president was tired of worrying about domestic political issues. And he didn't think
that he didn't think mattered as much as foreign policy and his legacy. Well, he found out the
hard way that they did matter and that the people really did care about what was happening.
In Iran, and they would make him pay for it. This, as The New York Times has another article out
confirming many things that we knew. But here's one of them, something I had suggested on the
show yesterday. Some days, Mr. Trump told advisers privately, we've got to win anything we got to do
on others. He sounded as if he couldn't care less. Quote, It says something very nice about me that
they just can't win without me, he told aides. It's the same thing that led him to give us two
Democratic senators out of the state of Georgia, which not so long ago was a red state as well.
He seems to enjoy watching Republicans lose when he's not on the ballot. He it it appeals
to his vanity. He doesn't really see it as a problem. Well, I'll say this, Megan, and this
is really jumped off the page at me over the last two years of Trump's second term. And I should
note that I've enjoyed a lot of Trump's second term. I've wanted these kind of deportations
my entire life. So it's not like I'm saying this has been a complete failure. I'm not saying
this is a complete failure. But Donald Trump has spoken down to his supporters, supporters more in
his second term than I ever remember him doing either when he wasn't president anymore or during
his first four years. And I don't know what that is, whether that's a level of possible arrogance
from being in that kind of power for long enough. But I mean, I remember back to I mean, you can
point out the time after time of the Epstein stuff, the Epstein stuff. You can even argue that they
did a lot of the right things with the Epstein stuff. And I don't know what that means. I don't
Epstein stuff. But the messaging, hey, shut up about this. Hey, why are you idiots even talking
about this? What a way. Whoa, what? Excuse me. There's been a lot of that talking down. Shut up.
You can pay a little more. A lot of that of why aren't you just doing what you're told?
And I do. Look, it's not like I'm saying Trump was ever an extremely humble man. That's part
of what people love about him. I'm not a humble man. I'm not saying that at all. But I think that
maybe that has possibly, after enough time and power, translated into some serious arrogance
where, I mean, it's in that pride goes before the fall, Megan. Well said. The Epstein thing
was the start where he came out. Epstein, who's still talking about Epstein? It was like, what?
People were stunned. And that DOJ memo that just got released, like we will not be releasing any
more documents on Epstein with no explanation. And just like, of course, yes, obviously you were
all expecting this. And we were supposed to swallow it without question. Then Trump, remember,
he issued that truth social, calling anybody who was still asking questions about Epstein,
his former supporters. To all my former followers, I don't want you anymore if you're still asking
questions about Epstein. The only reason there was a disclosure on Epstein that followed that
is because it was demanded. There was a bill introduced, Thomas Massey and others took a
brave stand saying, no, no, no, we will be forcing the release of these files. And Trump realized that
it was going to happen, that they had the votes to override a veto. So he signed that bill into law
with a bunch of loopholes in it, big enough to drive a truck through. But that's how that got
resolved after he shamed anybody who still had interest in it. And then we had Iran where he
didn't explain it. He didn't sell it. He didn't show the electorate enough respect to actually
just talk about what the real reasons were and why he thought it was necessary for these 20
service personnel to die. And not to mention the endangering of other Americans by,
by rattling this saber, the, the, the, the murder of the 170 girls in that school,
which we never took responsibility for, which was absolutely our fault, not intentional,
but that should have been explained. Normally our military will take responsibility even for
grave errors like that. It's what makes us human and humane and a better class of people
than our adversaries. And then his arrogance about the gas prices. It's worth it. It's worth
it. All of that is worth it. You'll pay it because it's worth it for Iran not to have
a nuclear weapon, which nobody believed was the exact trade-off at all. And then when people
started objecting to this war, which was hurting them in the pocketbook, it was, you're all out.
You're not my followers. If you don't follow Mark Levin and believe in Mark Levin, you are not MAGA.
He literally issued a paper statement saying that all the way up to present day where it was,
we're making so much money. We are making so much money. Oh, so who's we, who?
Well, for,
a couple of things, Megan, first of all, different people are, are good at different things, right?
And the truth is that Donald Trump, he came up as, you know, a real estate guy, a fight promoter,
and Donald Trump just has this braggadocious personality where everything, everybody knows
it by now. If everything's the greatest ever, the best ever, the hottest ever, the, this,
the most handsome ever, every, everything is going to be that for Trump. And honestly,
there are so many times where it's really endearing. And on the campaign trail, certainly,
when you're out of power, like when Joe Biden's president, that's a great way to campaign. I'm
going to make it the best ever and everything's going to be better than it was before. That's a
great way to campaign. But once you get elected, if you got elected because people couldn't afford
things anymore, you can't.
do that you can't run to the cameras every day and say it's a golden age you can't tell people
that this is the best economy ever you should talk more about it and this comes back to the
arrogance i said there's two things this is the second thing megan i'm gonna have to paraphrase
this because i don't have it in front of me i believe it was laura ingram on fox news was
interviewing donald trump some time ago last year something like that she was interviewing him and
they were arguing i think it was about foreign workers if i remember right because she was like
you got to stop bringing these in and he was talking about bringing them in and she said
something to him along the lines of hey well that's not very america first that's not very
maga and this is when trump jumped in and that showed that arrogance i was talking about he said
first of all i started maga i know what maga is donald trump did not start maga he's the first
leader of the america first movement and deserves a ton of credit for being the first leader
maga the america first movement is here because the american people wanted it after so many years
of failure
of both parties there was a desire there is a desire for something different trump to his
credit recognized it jumped on that tidal wave has led it well at times other times not so well
but he did he's not the creator of it he didn't create it in its womb and it will exist long long
after he's gone long long after i'm gone this is so much bigger than him uh and i'm not sure he
knows that here's the other problem while all of this is happening and people
were hearing his you know let them eat cake attitude about their financial troubles
the stories about corruption have been in the headlines every day and unlike most of the terrible
things that get published about trump they were true there actually was some there there alina
haba being only the latest example she actually is getting 10 million dollars a year from some
daughter of a venezuelan criminal uh as general counsel of a newly born corporation that as far
as i can tell has no legal work never mind 10 million dollars a year worth for the next four
years ultimately with her bonuses it amounts to 50 million dollars oh and guess what that
venezuelan guy got a pardon from trump for his legal troubles okay that's just one example like
the reports i i'm sorry but the kimberly gilfoyle stuff that's it's a huge
black eye we send these people abroad to go do our business not to make themselves rich
not to get so they can get paid for stints at george v in paris on somebody's private jet
people are sick of this fucking bullshit obviously the entire trump family has gotten incredibly
wealthy off of the presidency it's people watch it where maybe there's nothing illegal about it
it feels disgusting we ripped on hunter biden for four plus years over this bullshit and now
it's happening
again and when you look at the exit polls from tuesday this is what they show thinking about
your vote for congress how important to you was government corruption overall crucial or a major
factor 90 percent 90 percent of the voters rated that crucial or a major factor including almost
half of republican voters 43 percent who said crucial or major i mean that's just
The stench on that piece of the presidency is detectable through this lens.
And by the way, it's going to be one of the first things the Democrats start to investigate.
Yeah, look, I mean, I'll tell you this, Megan, I know you have a bunch of sources.
I have some people I talk to as well.
There's been a lot of a lot of whispering at me over the last year, year and a half of voices of concern about some of this stuff that you just laid out.
As in, if Democrats do start investigating there, this might not be a hoax like the last two impeachments.
There might be some some meat on that bone.
There really might be. And that that's obviously devastating, especially because, as you pointed out, part of the fact that part of the reason the Democrats became so unappealing under Joe Biden was was the Hunter Biden stuff.
A lot of the stuff they could never explain it away.
That dogged Joe Biden for his entire four years.
The fact that, hey.
It looked like you're handing out favors to family members and then and then all the pardons and things like that.
It just looked so corrupt that that that really did bring some normies into Republican circles trying to push back against that.
So if you walk in in that environment, you have to be cleaner than clean.
You can't have it's not just you can't do anything illegal.
You can't do anything that has the slightest whiff of impropriety or the voters are going to freak because they put you there, at least in part.
To stop that kind of a stuff.
And I'm making I'll tell you what, it's going to be a rocky two years for a lot of people.
I think they know it, but it's going to be rough.
Jesse, if the Democrats can prove that Trump or his aides or those around him were selling pardons that that the people around Trump were getting rich off of pardons.
Somehow their bank account was lined.
Somehow they got these sweetheart deals like Alina Haba appears to have.
It is a massive scandal in and of itself that is so disgustingly corrupt and awful.
There isn't a person in the country who would be able to defend it and they will get to the bottom of it.
I do think that the pardons will be one of the first thing the Democrats start to investigate what's on their agenda.
Well, we heard a little bit about it from the incoming, we believe, House Oversight Committee chair, Robert Garcia.
He's the one who tweeted.
He tweeted out Tuesday night before the dust had even settled, LAWYER UP in all caps.
And now he gave us a little preview of where they're likely to go.
Listen here to SOT 1.
As we move forward and I take over the chairmanship in January, we're going to be focused like a laser on four major areas.
And I want to discuss those with you.
First is we're going to take on the Trump crime family.
The amount of grift and corruption is unprecedented in America.
American politics, you have Don Jr, whose wedding is being paid for by a Russian oligarch.
You have Jared Kushner, who got $2 billion from the Saudis when he left the White House.
You have another son that is on, of course, the board of companies that are getting contracts from the Pentagon.
The president himself is a crypto scheme where he's making billions of dollars.
This family is billions richer as the American public struggle.
Our second investigation is focused on DHS and the abuses of ICE.
Our third major investigation revolves around corporate corruption.
Our last investigation is going to be focused on the Jeffrey Epstein.
The horrific, horrific injustice that's happened to so many women and girls.
I want to remind us that over 1,000 women have come forward as survivors of Jeffrey Epstein.
So there's just a little taste what's coming our way.
Well, what's striking, Megan, is how much time you can see they've already taken.
He had the list.
He had it numbered.
He had it numbered in order.
The communists have been plotting and planning this in their back rooms for more than a year now,
probably since the day Kamala Harris lost to Donald Trump.
They've been coming up with a game plan on what to do once they come back to power.
Now, we have to, we should have been smart enough to know that that day might come.
And then that means.
You know, mind your P's and Q's to do the right thing.
Me, Megan, I always try to actually overpay a little bit in taxes.
Why?
Because somebody gave me a piece of advice a long time ago.
Because I do this for a living.
I have enemies throughout the Internal Revenue Service.
I can't be a penny short ever.
I have to be squeaky, squeaky clean or I'm going to get audited and crushed and arrested and everything else because that's what they would love to do.
If you're the Trump administration, you know these investigations are coming.
You know they are coming.
You know, they're going to rip apart every single part of your life.
They've already done it to the poor Trump family over and over again.
You so you know what it feels like and you know what's coming.
So I don't know if there's any validity to anything that guy just said.
I'm not saying I don't have any idea on that stuff, but if there is, it's going to be a rocky two years.
Here's the other thing that I'm hearing more and more about that the Democrats, because they took over not only the federal government, but state houses across this country.
They are in power up and down the ballots, federal and state across the country that they now reportedly have enough to get rid of the Electoral College that that they actually may put a scheme in place.
I don't totally understand it.
Here's something from truth out dot org with these new wins.
Democrats have the opportunity to do something considered nearly impossible.
Implement a popular vote model for electing future presidents of the United States.
To replace the archaic and unpopular Electoral College due to the mechanics of the Electoral College.
Five presidential winners in U.S. history have taken office who did not win it.
A constitutional amendment would be needed to formally abolish the Electoral College, which is unlikely to happen anytime soon, even after this blue wave.
But there is a workaround called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which doesn't require such an amendment.
Per Article two of the U.S. Constitution, each state is mandated to appoint in such manner as the legislature thereof.
May direct a number of electors equal to the whole number of senators and representatives to which the state may be entitled in the Congress.
These electors wind up voting for.
the president, the vice president. All states today direct their electors to vote based on
their own results in the presidential races. If a Democrat candidate wins in California,
for example, all 54 of its electors are people chosen to support that candidate in the electoral
college. But under the national popular vote interstate compact, that would change. States
that have agreed to abide by the compact would direct their electors to support the candidate
who won the national popular vote, not who their state alone voted for. And this would mean
we will never have a Republican president again, ever. I mean, the odds of overcoming
these numbers, the national popular vote, because granted, yes, Trump won it last time around,
but the Republicans have repeatedly not won it, and they've relied on
the electoral college because they have states like Wyoming in their pocket voting for them,
but they don't have a lot of actual electors. So I mean, this is radicalism, and I do believe
the voters would punish the Democrats if they did such a thing. But this is just one of the
probably unintended consequences of what happened on Tuesday, about which it appears the White
House was quite flippant. I think it would be really sweet to find out that they won't vote
for Republicans when I'm not on the ballot. Well, Megan, call me
out on this. I think it would be really sweet to find out that they won't vote for the Democrats.
If you leave communists in charge of any area, a town, a city, a state, a country, if you leave them in charge of any area for long enough,
it takes some time, they will put into place the laws and rules and systems they need so you cannot get them out.
That is how it works. That's why Spencer Pratt lost an election in Los Angeles when everyone thought he was probably going to win.
He's a great guy, amazing candidate, ran a perfect campaign, raised a bunch of money, never had a freaking chance.
He's a great guy, amazing candidate, ran a freaking campaign, raised a bunch of money, never had a freaking chance.
Because it was always going to be stolen from him. He never had a chance. He never had a prayer in the world because the communists have been running L.A. for long enough.
Every leading Democrat in the United States of America,
Dome, Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, all of them on down,
every single one of them is now openly discussing some of the most radical, insane things in the world.
We're going to expand the Supreme Court, we're going to make D.C. a state, we're going to make Puerto Rico a state,
and we're going to eliminate the Electoral College.
Those are insane,
power grabs, but that's exactly what they are, power grabs.
If they are, God forbid, able to do those things, then the country is finished.
It really is. That will be it. We will never win another election.
They will get into power, they will lock their power down,
and the next thing you'll have is some kind of god-awful freaking civil war of secession,
and it'll be like the worst thing in the history of the world.
But they mean it. They don't just campaign on this stuff and then not do it.
If they have the power, if they have it in their power to do it, they're going to do it. It's coming.
By the way, on that L.A. mayor race, did you see Nithya Raman won?
She appears to have defeated Karen Bess, the far-left progressive who clearly did not win the primary.
It was ridiculous that she was one of the two in the ranked choice, whatever Spencer Pratt wasn't.
We all know that they used homeless people to put her over the top in ballot harvesting.
That was very obvious at the time, just to get this super progressive woman over Spencer.
And now she's won, this crazy-ass far-leftist lady.
I mean, Karen Bess is an idiot who burned down L.A.
But I mean, just the final cherry on top of the L.A. Sunday, that Nithya Raman is going to be the next L.A. mayor.
You know what? They deserve it. I hate to say it, they deserve it.
And you know what, Megan? I didn't even think about this.
Megan, the Olympics are coming.
I had to go to L.A. I think like six months ago, something like that, for a work thing.
And I always walk a city. I love to walk cities.
It's just how you get there.
You get a good feel for them.
And I did what I always do. I was by myself.
I just went out walking L.A., just walking around.
Megan, I've walked some very dangerous streets in this world, all around the world.
That is as close to fearing for my life as I have ever had in the United States of America.
It was more than dirty.
It was flat-out terrifying.
The freaking ATMs are locked up behind steel and cinder blocks.
I've never seen that in the United States of America before.
It was like you were dropped into some third-world hellhole.
This city has to represent the United States of America by hosting the Olympics.
I think it's like next year, two years from now.
And now you have this moron communist who's the mayor of this.
She's going to be in trouble.
It's going to be quite a scene.
Good luck.
You mentioned the Supreme Court.
I agree with you.
They will absolutely pack the Supreme Court.
But here's the thing.
They may not have to because Justice Alito said last month in an interview,
he had a book.
He was giving interviews.
And he said last month in an interview, you remember NPR's Nina Totenberg inaccurately
reported that he had announced his retirement from the Supreme Court bench.
She completely blew it.
She embarrassed herself.
She considers herself the goddess of Supreme Court reporting.
Completely blew it.
And so Alito, when he launched his book this fall, was asked by various reporters,
hey, how about that?
Are you considering retiring?
And he admitted maybe next year.
Like he basically said, not right now, but I am thinking about it soon.
And maybe next year.
And I can confirm that directly based on a source in a very good position to know.
Alito is 76 years old.
Justice Clarence Thomas is 78 years old.
And by the way, there are also reports that Chief Justice John Roberts has been considering
retirement.
He's only 71.
But it's, you know, whatever.
If you're 71, you could still live a pretty nice retirement.
The other two, I think, you know, Thomas would rather be taken out, you know, toe tag first.
From the Supreme Court.
I think he's committed to serve until he dies.
But Alito, no.
And now, Jesse, he's looking like he might be the Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Trump administration
because he didn't retire when Republicans controlled the White House and the Senate.
There is zero chance that a Democrat-controlled Senate is going to confirm any Trump nominee
for any federal bench, never mind the U.S. Supreme Court.
And so now he's stuck there if he is willing to do it.
He's stuck there for the remaining two years of Trump's term.
And let's face it, the Democrats' chances of winning in 2028 are looking pretty good,
at least right now, before they fuck it up over the next two years.
And if they win the White House, now we're looking at Alito and Thomas and saying,
you've got six more years you need to stay in there.
Thomas will be 84, if God willing, and Alito would be, well,
82.
And the odds of them doing that, when we know Alito wants to retire right now,
are extremely slim.
So what we're effectively looking at is not only did Republicans lose the Senate
and the House on Tuesday, they may likely have lost up to two Supreme Court seats.
I didn't drop bombs on Iran.
I had to look at, just get used to it, because I'm going to keep saying that a lot
as we finally experience the all, that there are endless consequences coming that you
don't see, Megan, that I don't see.
There are horrible things coming when you hand communist power, and that's why you have
to prioritize never, ever, ever handing communist power.
And if you, in your arrogance or stupidity or whatever it is, do something that people
don't like, they will punish you and they will hand communist power.
And look, maybe the most devastating thing that happened on Tuesday night, Megan, was
the Senate.
Because even if we win in 2028, and I don't have any idea how 2028 is going to go, but
even if we win in 2028, we're probably going to lose the Senate.
And probably, if you look at the map, if you look at the way it shakes out, we're probably
still not going to have the Senate.
So it might be President J.D. Vance or President Ron DeSantis who can't get a Supreme Court
justice on there.
This is a years-long punishment now for the egregious way the first two years of this
term have been handled.
And the problem is, it'll be a punishment for me and a punishment for you, a punishment
for all of us here.
It's not like you're just punishing Donald Trump or something like that.
We all have to suffer now.
There's literally a soundbite of Mark Levin saying on his radio show, it's not my fault.
It's not my fault.
Like, and that, by the way, this is his thing.
The Supreme Court, you know, the justices, the constitutional democracy, all of it.
So now, it was worth it?
Are we still saying it was worth it?
Supreme Court seats, the House, which may be held by the Democrats in such a margin
that we haven't seen in decades, the final vote's not done, the Senate with more seats
gone to the Democrats.
Democrats than they could ever have dreamed.
They may wind up with 56 seats.
By the way, that's four from 60, which is a filibuster-proof majority.
And the map doesn't get better for Republicans in two years.
It gets worse.
A different group of Senate seats will be up.
You know, they're staggered, unlike the House, which goes every two years.
And so the map for Republicans was always looking more challenging in 2028.
These guys could win an outright majority, you know,
a filibuster-proof majority of 60 seats in the Senate.
And we have the messaging from the Levin's of the world, it's not my fault.
And the ridiculous pre-midterm messaging of, no one cares about the Iran war.
That's not going to cost anything.
I never want to hear from these people again.
I don't want anybody paying attention to them.
I want them to lose their status as public figures who have microphones in front of them,
who anyone listens to.
They're too severely wrong about too many things.
ultimately decide that right it's the people who decide who gets listened to who doesn't get
listened to there's just nothing anyone else can do about that but you know what i would actually
like to hear from these people megan more than anything else i want to hear the honesty of hey
i backed this because i thought it was worth it i felt like destroying the iranian regime i felt
like it was a worthwhile risk even if it meant handing the united states of america over to
demonic communists i've not heard a single one of them honest enough to simply admit that but they
all feel it they know they have to lie about it they know how that sounds but i would really
really greatly admire the honesty of hey i thought it was worth it i care more about replacing
iranians government than the united states of america and that's why i backed it yeah starting
with president trump and on down from there jesse kelly we love talking to you thank you we'll be
right back appreciate you got more coming up right after this
we've got thoughts on a couple of news stories and guess what we're also going to get a bit of

today i want to update you on a couple of non-political items that we've been following
by the way ilhan omar won re-election uh you're shocked shocked she's super happy enjoy it while
you can um there are real questions though like once the democrats take over house oversight etc
on what the appetite will be for any investigation into her now this is being handled by the doj the
main principal criminal investigation into ilhan omar but you know eventually this could pitch
back to the house if she's gotten serious ethical violations that they overlooked that don't quite
amount to crimes and there's going to be zero appetite to do anything with that now that the
court is going to give her um so that's that ilhan omar but there's a couple of other pieces of news
this morning we did a live stream on the russell brand verdict uh it came down this morning if you
would like to see that we're posting it as a separate um podcast and youtube uh video so you
can check that out on our feed but he was found guilty of multiple charges though not the fake
attempted sexual assault where the woman said he grabbed her arm that one they said he grabbed her
arm that one they said not guilty on and two of the three rapes they said not guilty on the alleged
vaginal rape uh that happened back in 1999 when he was very young and not famous and got invited
back to a woman's hotel room after midnight they said not guilty on that one and the alleged oral
rape where complainant number three said he dragged her into a bathroom and forced himself
on her um in that context they said not guilty there though they did find that he felt that woman
up at the bar moments before that this very
strange so they believed her testimonial that he felt her breasts at the bar but not her testimonial
that she went into the bathroom with him and that he forced himself on her orally it's all very
strange um and now russell's looking at basically five to ten years in prison um the judge refused
to grant him bail pending sentencing which is monday he refused to allow him humanitarian
leave where he could go home and say goodbye to his three children said no he's been remanded to
jail pending the sentencing on monday which we will have full coverage of then but this is just
this is just travesty just want to say one thing okay one one thing again you should watch our live
feed on it which is now not live but posted as a video this is on x people are still they're just
now getting up to speed on the russell trial because most people haven't been covering it
because it's a uk thing and the coverage has been so limited since they have such draconian rules
around reporting on uk trials michael
tracy
who is an honest reporter irascible but honest tweeted out here's one of the quote rapes that
russell brand has just been convicted of it allegedly occurred after what the woman says
was a consensual threesome with brand followed by consensual vaginal sex it was then according
to the woman that brand committed quote anal rape upon her and he tweets out a report in which they
say the woman who cannot be identified told the court that brand anally raped her in 2009 when he
was 33 and at the height of his fame he wasn't actually he wasn't actually he wasn't actually
well actually no he was he was he was very famous in 2009 sorry i screwed that up they met after she
watched brand at his comedy gig at the hammersmith apollo in west london afterward she and another
woman had a consensual threesome with brand in his dressing room a week later she went to his house
in hampstead after they exchanged texts they had consensual vaginal sex and then brand anally raped
her so he's letting people know that there's all sorts of consensual behavior prior to the alleged
anal rape and i added to that that there's all sorts of consensual behavior prior to the alleged
anal rape and i added to this because i think people just aren't aware all of you should be
based on the coverage we've done here i added the following she admitted that within moments
of meeting russell brand backstage she used her tongue on his anus as another woman was
fellating him the only dispute at trial was whether she went inside with the tongue or not
she admitted all around the outside of his actual anus forgive me i know it's graphic and disgusting
but she did it and i added here because it's true they had not even been introduced that was the
testimony she got down on her knees and gave him what's called a rim job without even having been
introduced to him she hadn't later she went to his place excited for sex which they had the two
discussed anal sex before having it she said it was her first time her friend testified that the
man had been in a relationship with a woman named russell brand and she said that the woman had been
in a relationship with a woman named russell brand and she said that the woman had been in a relationship
with a woman named russell brand and she said that the woman had been in a relationship with a woman
russell brand testified that they watched tv together afterward when a reporter first
contacted the accuser about russell brand she said quote i'm not sure my story has much in it
i was an idiot young and stupid probably as much to blame that is the woman whose rape allegation
is now going to send russell brand to jail for somewhere between five and ten years
this is just an outrage it is an outrage
and we'll have more coverage of it on monday when we get the actual sentence um i want to go
to the megan markle update because there's there's a couple of interesting ones first the sun which
has been breaking all the news on this uh reports that the fbi the american fbi is going to search
thomas markle's rented u.s storage facilities for potential third stash of child abuse images
after tip-off from the sun
they report lockups i think they just mean storage facilities rented by thomas markle senior in
hollywood are to be searched by the fbi as they investigate a potential third cache of child abuse
images the u.s agents were alerted to two units on the same site in los angeles following a tip
from son thomas jr 60 now this is all very interesting just stay with me because thomas
jr is behind i think all of the tip
that led to the big reveals we know he was the one behind the one in the philippines
because he said he found the stash and he tried to alert authorities in the philippines and the fbi
and even state authorities i think he said in florida where thomas markle currently is
senior and nobody showed any interest in his stash and then he called an expert an it expert
to show up at the facility and document the find and they went through the you know
floppy disks and the files that were in thomas markle's storage facility which were reportedly
replete with child sexual abuse material which reportedly included even pictures of thomas
markle himself with girls in in at least one photograph that all originated with thomas jr
his sister full-blood sister is named samantha markle and she said this is all bs there's been
a falling out between the two of them
junior and senior and my dad didn't do anything and thomas markle senior said
absolutely not that's the worst accusation you could make about a man i didn't do anything
well then they found a similar stash the daily mail did in mexico where thomas senior had been
living the daily mail was given access to the storage facility because it had been considered
abandoned he hadn't been paying rent on it in two years which will lead to a deciding a decision of
abandonment and the daily mail went in there and found tons of what they say was child sexual abuse
including what the daily mail which does not have a horse in this race described as pictures of thomas
markle himself
with young girls, underage girls, like actually on camera with them, which, if true,
could be potentially devastating. Now, here we're showing one picture they posted of him.
The girl's face is blurred out. They say it is a girl, an underage girl. They're sitting on a bed.
They're fully clothed. Now, that could mean something or could be nothing. And I don't know
whether the Daily Mail has something more, you know, a naked girl, etc. But they certainly
reported that that storage facility once again was brimming with actual childhood,
child sexual abuse material, including pictures of toddlers. That then again, they say this belongs
to Thomas Markle Sr. and that all of this was found interspersed with his personal effects,
things that were meaningful to him, books of his and so on.
Now, his defenders have been saying all along, we suspect the son, same as Samantha Markle said.
Don't trust that son. And we pointed out to you that there is a picture of the son walking with
some girl from the Philippines who looks like a child. Look at this. I'm sorry, this is bizarre.
I don't know what's going on with this woman, whether she's got dwarfism, whether she's young.
But she's like half the size of Thomas Markle Jr. There's serious issues in this family.
I think we can safely say that. But now we have the son reporting that Thomas Markle,
Jr. was the person who gave the tip to U.S. agents about the facility in Hollywood.
So clearly, you know, he's definitely linked to the Philippines, Cash. He's linked now to whatever's
in this Hollywood facility. Was he the one who told the Daily Mail that there was another storage
facility in Rosarito, Mexico? I don't know. But they quote Thomas Markle's son, Jr., as having
been interviewed for two hours.
by the FBI over the potential third cache of child sex images. And the quote attributed to
him as, quote, My father told me about the two units years ago in Hollywood. He's had them for
about 15 years. One is stuffed to the brim with Megan's old furniture. The other is packed with
boxes, books, photos, mementos for his career in Hollywood, stuff from Megan's college days,
and God knows what else. Megan Markle, of course, being their half sister, Thomas Markle's daughter,
along with Doria Ragland.
Something else there. There's something there. That's my gut feeling. I dread to think what the
FBI might find, especially given what has been found in the Philippines and Mexico, said Thomas,
Jr. He was interviewed at his home in Cordova, the Philippines, as part of an international
multi-agency meeting over Microsoft Teams. Interviewed, I think they mean by the FBI,
because that's what they were reporting, that he sat with them for two hours.
Thomas, Jr. said his dad had been paying $700 a month to rent the lockup,
in Los Angeles. Receipts show that Markle, Sr. paid a big brand storage firm as recently as
October 21st. That's why you couldn't have the Daily Mail go in there. He's up to date on that
facility, which means it hasn't been abandoned, which means only law enforcement could get in
there with a warrant. And that's why it is, quote, to be searched by the FBI as they investigate,
and appears they haven't yet gotten their warrant. Thomas, Jr. recalled his dad mentioning the units
several times.
And his need to visit them. He said, I remember when we lived in Mexico, he would say he needed
to travel to LA to his storage units. We tried to do this several times, but he canceled every time.
At that point, I never really thought of anything of it. My dad lived in the city for many years,
so there could be stuff dating back years. Quote, several family members offered to collect his
stuff and pack it up, but he said, no, no, no. According to Jr., Jr. continues, I did go there
once with my dad, but I didn't go inside the unit.
He says, it's been a few, a tough few weeks, so it never really entered my mind to tell anyone
about the units until the haul was found in Mexico. I think it's important that the FBI search
the LA units as soon as possible. The more I learn about my dad, the more I am deeply shocked.
He has given the address for the facility,
to the FBI, it was not clear when agents will raid it. But now comes a report the day after
that hit, which was November 4th in the sun. Whoa, sorry. Is today the 5th? Gosh, I'm losing
track of my days after the election. It is the 5th. The Daily Mail reports today that the police
in the Philippines have extended their child sex investigation into Thomas Markle,
Jr., Megan's half-brother. But has, they have not abandoned the father, who they say is likely
to soon be charged. So it's not an either or, at least in the eyes of the Philippine officials,
it appears to be, are both of these guys potentially guilty here? Again, the Daily Mail
reporting that the police inquiry into the father has widened to include the son, Thomas Markle,
Jr. The dramatic development,
was announced by the Interior Minister of the Philippines, where officers are investigating
possible child sexual abuse offenses. Interior Minister Juanito Victor Remula gave a press
conference about the case in the capital Manila and reportedly said, quote, there are indications
suggesting that the son may also be involved in the crime, but only as a person of interest so far.
He is not yet treated as a suspect. We have witnesses,
that underaged girls are brought to his house and we are following it up, quoting here directly
from the Daily Mail, who says it is quoting this Remula, this Interior Minister of the Philippines.
They write that he is the country's equivalent of a home secretary. He described Thomas Markle,
Sr. as, quote, a possible sex offender of the grossest kind. We told you this
when the story first broke last week after they had gotten their hands on this trove of materials,
from his storage facility. Mr. Remula said police had asked Mr. Markle, Jr., who is 60,
the father, I think, is 82, about the chain, sorry, about the claim of underaged girls
and said that he had, quote, claimed to be merely doing TikTok videos. What?
Clearly, we need to know more. Let me read that again. This Interior Minister said at this presser,
that police had asked Markle, Jr. about the claim of underaged girls and said that he had,
quote, claimed to be merely doing TikTok videos. What in the F does that mean? What videos are
they referring to? Police in the Philippines are also said to be, quote, very close to bringing
formal charges against Thomas Markle, Sr. after, well, I guess I shouldn't say that.
The quote here is police in the Philippines are also said to be very close to bringing formal
charges against Mr. Markle after child abuse images were allegedly found at his apartment.
I believe they are talking about senior here and not junior, not close to bringing charges against
junior, but senior. Yeah, they are. My team is just confirming in my ear. Yes,
they're very close to bringing charges against senior as the investigation has widened to be
looking at junior as a person of interest so far, not a suspect. And some weird comment about him
allegedly saying he claimed to be merely doing TikTok videos. OK, this is so bizarre. I don't
know what the F is happening with this disgusting family, but they are so much more dysfunctional
than anyone knew. And I don't know what this what junior's role. You know, we said this when we saw
him. Remember, we said this when this broke and I was showing you the picture of his so-called girlfriend who looks
like a girl. She looks like a girl if she's four foot five. It's a lot like that's bizarre. And why
did the son move to the Philippines? I know you can move to the Philippines without being a child
sex predator, but the odds of it being so are slim. That is where you move if you like to molest
young girls. I'm sorry, but it is there in Thailand, which was another favorite of Thomas
Markle senior. All this going on while Megan swept it under the rug about her dad. She's known for
She's seriously, seriously, seriously upset about the news about her dad.
Meantime, also she's starring in MasterChef Junior in Australia.
And the news also hit that, hold on, I can't read this without my readers.
You know how it is.
That she and the Duke are set to visit Brussels next week.
They will deliver a joint keynote address at the opening of the Lost Screen Memorial in the European Parliament.
The brief trip abroad will see Harry and Meghan listen to addresses by European Parliament president and member of parliament, blah, blah, blah.
They will have between 15 and 20 minutes for their rare dual address, which they will use to speak about the importance of children's digital safety.
You've got to be kidding me.
Honestly.
That later the Duke will join a panel discussion called Beyond Promises.
Building a digital future that works for children.
To discuss how to protect children online.
I have an idea.
I have an idea.
I would like to submit a suggestion into the suggestion box.
When you are told.
that there is a child sex predator exploiting them online and possibly in person living in
Rosarito, Mexico, who then moves to the Philippines and then back to the United States
in Pennsylvania and Florida. Fucking say something. I would like to put that in the
suggestion box. Someone, please, I'd like to make a motion to be heard. This is ridiculous
that now they are going to be platformed as two people genuinely concerned about child safety
online in Brussels. Does Brussels not read the news? Is there nobody there with access to the
internet to understand that these two have known about a child sexual predator alleged,
but they've believed him to be for eight years and said nothing? How the F are they getting
platformed as spokespeople on child safety online? This is ridiculous. I'm in a mood today,
you guys.
I don't know about you, but I am in a mood. It's a lot. The Senate is gone. The House is gone.
The Supreme Court may soon be gone. The Electoral College could soon be gone. We may be F'd on the
presidential election. Russell Brand was convicted of anally raping a woman who giggled about anal
rape with him and stuck her tongue in and around his anus without having been introduced to him
and now will be separated from his family.
For five to 10 years. And we have these two continuing to be platformed as advocates for
children after knowing in their own minds for nearly eight years that they were related to
a child sex predator and they did nothing. That's that's where we are. Okay. So I don't think it's
my black rifle coffee stimulating my anger today. I think it's the actual news. I'll be fine. This
is my therapy. This show being able to talk about it is helpful.
Um, we're going to bring on Blago in a minute and, and he'll make us laugh because he's funny.
But first I want to give you one other update on other news items. And that brings me to the
Florida plane crash. There is news. The NTSB 48 hours ago held a presser and told us that they
had found pieces of the jet more than a mile away from the crash site. And they said that indicated
separation of the jet from the crash site. And they said that indicated separation of these
pieces before the impact. Now that's actually very important. Hold on a second. We'll play that.
I think it's SOT 11. Yesterday, the majority of the aircraft's left elevator was located in three
pieces within a range about 1.3 to 3.8 miles away from the accident site. Those items are being
retained for analysis. For those not as familiar with aircraft components, the elevator is a control
surface located on the tail, which controls the up and down pitch of the aircraft. Certainly it tells us that at least some components, some pieces of the aircraft, important pieces of the aircraft, separated before the impact. What that means exactly in terms of what caused the aircraft to lose control or whether the loss of this piece was a result of the forces on the aircraft, we don't know yet. So it's going to take some more analysis. But finding that piece is a very, very
significant bit of evidence.
And that is just very disturbing and makes sense because we had Captain Steve explaining to us
that there's a piece on the tail of the Learjet. It's a horizontal stabilizer
that looks like it's missing when you see the photo slowed down, you know, the freeze frame of the jet
going into the ground. It looks like it's missing. And he was saying without that horizontal stabilizer,
the plane is now basically just a dart that no pilot
could stabilize it after that. It's critical to maintaining flight.
And now you hear the NTSB suggesting that it does look like pieces of this plane
had come off prior to impact. And that was another theory that we discussed with Captain Steve, who said he believed, and he was waiting, you know,
for more information, but he believed at that point that the plane, when it asked to go up to 37,000 feet,
was already under a lot of stress. It had ice on the wings, and it was in danger of stalling,
and they were in what he called severe turbulence. It's a term that's ultimately up to the pilot to say
whether it's severe, mild, or moderate. But he said if the plane is dropping, you know,
raising and dropping some 700 feet, as the co-pilot described, he says that's severe turbulence.
That's not moderate, even though she described it as moderate.
And that if you're suffering severe turbulence in the middle of a thunderstorm, which goes high up,
the thunderstorm goes high up, in other words, the weather system goes on and on, and you can
get sucked into an updraft. It's very dangerous. Almost every pilot has said, if there's any doubt,
there's no doubt, don't fly. If you're looking at thunderstorms, and they could have gone around.
They could have gone around. It remains a mystery why they went into the thunderstorm
and whose fault that was. But in any event, his
theory was that when they asked for permission to go up to find better air, the plane couldn't take
it. It was already under too much stress. It stalled. And that is why we went from the co-pilot
asking for permission to go up one second and panicked the next second, saying they were
dropping first 10,000 feet a minute and then 22,000 feet a minute. And that Captain Steve was
theorizing that that horizontal stabilizer came off in the storm up there. And so between the stall
and the loss of that stabilizer, it was certain death from 37,000 feet or as high as 37,000 feet.
There was video, and this is a soundbite, of a Learjet. Let me just ask my team,
is this the Learjet or a Learjet months before? It's this. It is the
Learjet. This is from May, 2026. And it's about them experiencing turbulence. And again, to my
team, I believe we hear what we think is the same co-pilot, but it's not confirmed it's her.
Yes, correct. Okay. So this is making the rounds because
here, this is the Learjet that was involved in this accident. And we believe, though it's not
totally confirmed, that it is the female co-pilot who was on the doomed Learjet that just went down.
It's from May of this year, and you can hear yet another discussion between this co-pilot and
air traffic control about turbulence occurring. Listen here, SOP 12.
We got moderate chop, sir.
If you can't maintain altitude, that's not moderate. That's severe turbulence.
Are you experiencing severe turbulence?
Two Bravo Delta, are you experiencing severe turbulence?
Affirmative. Affirmative, sir.
So we don't know whether that co-pilot there is the pilot, the captain in charge,
who was flying on board this flight that just crashed. It's not uncommon.
It's not uncommon to have the same team fly together. So it very well could have been,
but I have no idea. But you could hear there, too. They were describing their turbulence
as moderate, and it was air traffic control saying, that's not moderate. What you are
describing is severe. And Captain Steve, as well, said what they described as moderate turbulence
this week was not moderate. It was severe. And severe gives you permission to do whatever the
F you want. Air traffic control will give you the route you want. It changes the way everyone behaves.
Because everyone knows how dangerous severe turbulence is. So it does seem like there was
potentially a pattern of underestimating the danger on board this Learjet, potentially by
this same flight crew. And let me tell you one other thing. Melissa Chen, who is a very good,
she's a conservative commentator, and she's a very good ex-follow. She tweeted out a soundbite
of another plane on the day this Learjet went down this week, dealing with the same historic
situation in Palm Beach. And you can hear the air traffic control conversation between this
pilot and ATC. The ATC was telling him to go basically into the storm,
the route that they had chosen for him. And this male pilot says, no. He says,
you're telling me to go right into the storm? And they kind of confirmed.
This goes through a severe thunderstorm.
JetBlue 1971, I'm showing night precipitation where you're going through, sir.
And now from here, ma'am. So we declare an emergency, making a left turn heading 260 for severe weather avoidance.
JetBlue 1971, roger.
I run ahead in 240.
Roger.
Turn the left heading 230 to avoid severe weather avoidance, JetBlue 1971.
JetBlue 1971, roger. And I copy the emergency.
Welcome. You do what you got to do. We got to do what we got to do here.
No, Tom.
The plant will not work.
severe weather over there that he gave us previously. That's why we declared emergency.
Roger, the supervisor knows already she's listening, and we just ground stopped everybody.
All right. He said, no, I'm not doing that. He put his foot down. He managed to avoid it,
and he was safe, and he kept the passengers on board his flight safe. So the NTSB this week
confirmed that, of course, pilot error is one of the things that they will be looking at
in trying to figure out what happened. They were asked whether they are confident that
the black box will be retrieved because that plane was demolished into nothing,
into absolute nothing. I mean, it hurled toward the earth at record speeds and was left
just in a pile of rubble, if that. And you heard the NTSB official Thomas Chapman there,
what he said.
in response to that was, I feel confident that they're going to find the evidence that they need
within that crater. So he, I don't know, he said it will, it will be a lot of work to find the
black box, but he feels confident that they will find the evidence that they'll need in order to
figure this thing out. I certainly hope that they do. One final thing, WPBF 25 News, a local
news outlet down in Palm Beach, their investigative reporter, Terry Parker, obtained exclusive pictures
of what appears to be twisted aircraft metal lying on the kitchen floor of a woman named Anna
Escobar's home, less than a mile from the crash scene. This is chilling. Imagine being this poor
woman, Anna Escobar, and tip of the hat to this Terry Parker, who actually found this woman.
Escobar said the object tore through her roof and landed inside her kitchen. The Palm Beach
County Sheriff's Office received,
the suspected wreckage Tuesday as evidence. It remains a minor, not minor, it remains a miracle
that no one on the ground was killed as this Learjet came down. Some speculate that the pilot
may have tried to steer it toward an area on the ground that did not have a cluster of houses,
et cetera. I would like to believe that. I don't know if that aircraft was steerable at all,
but I would like to believe that. We do know that the pilot, as it went down,
was saying the Our Father, and either way, I think we know who helped minimize the damage
on the ground, and it was no mere mortal. Okay, we're going to take a break. Coming up,
Rod Blagojevich is here. Blago is back with us. We had so much fun with him the last time he was on,
so we will talk to him about what he predicts these Democrats are going to do. And this is
a person who's already been to prison in a prosecution, and there's nobody to ask what
they're capable of.
Better than Blago. He's next.

Our next guest has an unusual distinction. He says he's the only man that a president has both
fired and freed. Rod Blagojevich was governor of Illinois until December 2008,
when FBI agents arrested him at his home on charges of,
trying to sell Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat. He was convicted and sentenced to 14 years in
prison. Before prison, he appeared on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice. Nearly eight years
into his sentence, President Trump commuted it. Then in 2025, Mr. Trump issued the former governor
a full pardon. In his new book, Framed, Fucked, and Freed, A Governor's Odyssey,
Blagojevich details his time behind bars,
world of prison gangs, strange rules, and his relationship with his family.
Rod Blagojevich, welcome back. How are you doing?
I'm doing great. Thanks for having me. You're very nice. Appreciate it.
Good. Of course, the title of the book is amazing. We talked about your experiences when you first
got out of prison, and here you've documented them in very colorful form for everyone to read.
It's a rip-roaring read. I think people will enjoy it. And it all makes you really the perfect
person to comment on.
What we are likely about to see from another sort of gang, which is the Democrat Party,
now back in power, or at least set to be now back in power. What are your predictions?
Well, my predictions actually mirror my fears. My prediction is that the Democrats are going
to go crazy with weaponization, that they're going to spend a lot of time, way too much time,
investigating President Trump, his family, the people around President Trump, Pete Hexeth,
people in Trump's administration. They're not going to do what they're supposed to do,
what they got elected on, which is to say, they're not going to do what they're supposed to do.
They're not going to do what they're supposed to do, what they got elected on, which is to say,
to address affordability for everyday, ordinary people. They'll be hyper-partisan and hyper-politicized
because the left wing, the socialist wing, the Bolshevik wing of the Democratic Party
now runs the show. And the moderate Democrats, and I suspect still more of the members of Congress
are more of that than socialists. They're afraid of the socialists, so they're going to pander to
them. And the pressure from the far left and a lot of the voters that elected these socialists
and Democratic candidates is going to be so hard because they hate Trump so much. They love to hate
Trump so much.
That I don't think that the Democratic congressman, the leadership there is going to be able to resist
the pressure to blow this opportunity to govern in a bipartisan way. But instead,
they're going to go all into investigations and impeachment. That's my fear.
That would be the biggest gift they could give to Republicans who want to take over
as president after Trump leaves. It would be the best gift the J.D. Vance's, Marco Rubio's,
Ron DeSantis's of the world could ask for, for them to overshoot their mandate, not focus on
helping people.
People make it just nonstop investorama. On the subject of Pete Hegseth, there was a report that
President Trump was was possibly thinking about asking Marsha Blackburn, who's now been elected
as governor of Tennessee. She gave up her Senate seat. Now she's governor of Tennessee,
allowing her to appoint Pete Hegseth to take over her old Senate seat, now vacated Senate seat,
and serve that out in an effort to sort of avoid some of the,
you know, the iniquities or the impeachment, the impeachment of him, because he wouldn't,
you know, if he's not in office as the secretary of war. Here's Trump responding to it
during a gaggle he had at the White House ballroom construction project yesterday, SOT 3.
Are you considering replacing Secretary Hegseth?
No, I think he's doing a very good job.
So you don't want him to fill Marsha Blackburn's Senate seat to be appointed?
Well, I think he's doing a very good job. And I actually think
he'd be very popular if he did that. But I haven't heard that at all.
So, so no, he says no. And I don't know, you tell me whether Ron DeSantis would have
any interest in taking over that post if he's really interested in being the GOP nominee in 28.
You're talking about Ron DeSantis or Pete Hegseth? Which one?
Both, both. Do you think that's a good move for Pete Hegseth? And do you think that because the
report is that maybe they'll replace Hegseth with Ron DeSantis?
Well, first of all, I have advice for governor, hard earned advice for governor,
like Blackburn, be careful what you say on the telephone. And you talk about,
whether or not you're going to make any kind of political horse trade when it comes to appointing
a senator, because that's what got me in trouble. Let me also point out that
in July of 2015, Megan, the so-called fake sale of the Senate seat was reversed by the appellate
court. They called it nothing more than routine political log rolling. Now, with regard to Pete
Hegseth, if in fact the president wants to make a change at the Department of Defense, that would
be a good place and a good way to do it. And I think Governor-elect Blackburn is apt to do it.
She's been a very loyal supporter of President Trump. She's very capable. People trust her. So
that might be a good place for Pete Hegseth to parachute in if that's exactly precisely what
President Trump wants to do. Whether or not Governor DeSantis does something like that,
you know, here's the rule, because I know this like the back of my hand because I went through
it. All you need to do is live in a state for one day. And as long as you're a citizen, you can be
naturalized. You're 30 years old or older, you're eligible. You can be a senator. And so, you know,
Governor DeSantis wants to leave Florida and move to Nashville, Tennessee, for example.
And Blackburn, the governor-elect wants to appoint him to the Senate. That can happen.
Well, I don't think I don't think DeSantis, I guess you're right, that could happen. But the
report is that he would he would go in as secretary of war. Obviously, he was in the Navy. He was in
the JAG Corps. But he right now seems to be positioning himself to be a 2028 contender.
Of course, he tried in 2023 in the build up to 24. He didn't make it. Here's what he said to Jake
Tapper. Was this today? No, no, I don't know. I think this was yesterday. It's not five.
Are you considering running for president in 2028 to be part of that?
Ideas debate. So oftentimes here, oh, he's obviously planning this.
You know, I haven't planned anything. I have a job to do. The midterms was an important marker
because you need to see what the political environment is going to do. I got some more
things I got to do and I'll be a free man come January 5th. Not that I'm counting down to that.
Last night was should be a wake up call for our party. We really got blasted into oblivion.
I mean, you know, the way the minds of these politicians work, Rod, do you think a guy like
DeSantis coming off of the governor?
One of our largest states, Florida, would have interest in serving in the Trump administration,
which he's been ripping on for the past three days. Like he's been talking about the corruption in it
and the Iran war and how, you know, et cetera. Would he give up the ability to do that by going
into the secretary of war position? If he has presidential aspirations,
and I strongly suspect that he does, after all, he ran before the governor of a major state
and had a record of accomplishment there. And he's really he won't do that.
He shouldn't do that. He should be where he is now, former governor. He touted his record a lot like
Ronald Reagan did with his record in California after he had been governor there from 1967 to 1975.
So if he has those aspirations and look, I know the business. I was a governor myself.
I know how we think. He's thinking of that. And if that's the case, I don't think he's going to want
to have a position in President Trump's administration. And, you know, there's a question
of DeSantis's loyalty to President Trump, because way back in the first election while I was locked up,
but actually
saw this watching you on Fox News way back then, on the white TV where the white guys watch the
news, because the televisions in prison are segregated. The black guys watch CNN, as you
can imagine, right. But I remember watching that. And, you know, he was running in a hard governor's
race. He was a congressman not as well known then as he is now. And President Trump was big time and
helping him get elected, then he decides to go challenge Trump himself. So there are those issues
between the two of them that I think are, you know, the business you remember, you know, loyalty and you remember people
who weren't quite as connected or loyal to you that you might think should have been. But having said
that, Megan, let me just quote Harry Truman. He said, if you want a friend in Washington, get a
dog. It's a rough and tumble business. Don't expect loyalty from people in politics. That's a rare,
rare thing.
Mm hmm. Mm hmm. We're talking to Rod Blagojevich. He's got a book out. It's called
Framed, F'd and Freed, A Governor's Odyssey. Well worth your time. A fun read and actually
shocking in some of its big reveals. What do you think? What was your take when you watched Tuesday's
electoral results roll in? What was your takeaway? I said, boy, the only prediction I got right was
the polls would be wrong, but I didn't realize it'd be wrong going the other way. I thought the
Republicans would hold on to the Senate. I thought the Democrats were very likely to win the House,
historical trends and all the other dynamics involved. But I didn't see this coming. In fact,
I rejected talk of that, largely for many reasons, not the least of which is the polls had been so
wrong so many times before. And they've been balanced, you know, leading against the Republican
and actually been used as weapons in political weapons for Democratic candidates. So I was shocked.
And the thing that really broke my heart and makes me afraid for America is that Texas, of all places,
went Democrat as big as it did. And, you know, Texas is so important to American politics.
You're still talking to a guy who I call myself a Trumpocrat, a Democrat for Trump. I haven't given up on me being a Democrat. But this Democratic
party and how the socialists have taken over. And there's communists in there, too. I know these
people. I know they were there when I was in politics. They just weren't as strong. We need
some check and balance to them. And we need a Republican Party that's viable and competitive
nationwide. And let's just hope that Texas is briefly going to be blue and goes back to being,
you know, a sensible state, which it is that loves America, you know, and it's all about
providing, you know, energy to our economy, you know, good, decent people.
I'm a Dallas Cowboy fans. I love the Bears and the Dallas Cowboys. So let me say this. Texas
had a bad, bad couple of days. The Cowboys blew a game they should have won. And look what happened
on Tuesday. My gosh. Who would you say is more brutal, the Democrats or the gangs you dealt with
in prison? Oh, I mean, that's a real good question. The guys in the prison, the gangbangers,
the Crips and Bloods, the Gangster Disciples, the Sinaloa cartel drug dealers who look up to
El Chapo, the drug lord, like my daughters look up to Taylor Swift and frankly, look,
they read your book, the book you said sent me settled for more. I was in there with murderers.
I went from a 50,000 square foot governor's mansion, having access to that to a six foot
by eight foot prison cell. And I spent two thousand eight hundred ninety six days with
those gangbangers and some of those violent criminals. And look, there were some real bad
guys. There's some wicked evil guys there. There were kind men there, of course, two percent of the
nine hundred fifty guys in the prison I was in for the first three years were kind men,
very dishonest. They reminded me a lot of some
of the Democratic politicians I've gotten to know over the years. So if you're asking me,
you know, who's more likely to stab you in the back for sure? The politicians. If you're likely
to ask me who's about to shift, stick a shift right in your chest, it'd be some of those guys
I live with in prison. But you had a soft spot for some of them. You write in the book. So as I made
my last turn through the line of inmates, this is when you're leaving. I seized the opportunity to
say one final thing. Stopping abruptly, I turned to face those guys. Thank you, fellas. I shouted.
I miss you. I appreciate all of you. Best of luck. Never give up. Always keep hope alive.
Miracles do happen. Look at me. And one more thing. When I'm president, pardons for all
of you motherfuckers. I was gone, but not for long. As things turned out, this would
not be my last day in prison. What a moment for you.
Yes. And you're right. I had a lot of affection for a lot of the guys and still do. And they're
friends. You know, it kind of you know, I've got a blurb on my book on the front from President
Trump. It says this. This is the first time I've seen him. This is an injustice should have never happened. Terrible thing. And then on
the back, my friend Walter Hill, you know, and he writes a little blurb, says, you know,
friend and former inmate. So, no, I made a lot of friends there. And you look, most of
those guys did what they were there for. Too many of them were over sentenced. You know,
there were some really bad guys. Of course, they were not my friends. But by and large,
I was very lucky in the sense that I was treated so well by by those guys. And, you know, I
learned about them. You know, they have these names, you know, Socks and Slick and Smelly
and Stinky and Honey Bun. Honey Bun got the name because he won a honey bun eating contest
in prison because you can buy those at the commissary. It was modeled after the Nathan
Hot Dog's Fourth of July contest. And this guy blew away the field. And so I tell stories
about that in prison. I talk about my my prison band, G-Rod and the Jailhouse Rockers. I was
the lead singer. We have a whole chapter on that. But no, I mean, it was a hard eight
years. But I learned that.
You know, you can endure anything if you have purpose. And for me, I write the final chapter
of the book, which I hope people read, because that's the one where I think I can help people
who are going through their hard times, just like you write in your book, you know, Settle
for More. You talk about adversity and embracing adversity. Well, that's what I write about
in the final chapter. And I talk about, you know, Viktor Frankl wrote a book called Man's
Search for Meaning, and he was a Holocaust survivor, had it a million times worse than
me. But he said that, you know, the last of the human freedoms is even after they've taken
everything from you is our freedom to choose our attitude.
At any given set of circumstances. And if you can find the why to live, you'll figure
out the how. My why were my little girls who I left behind, my wife and my faith in God.
It was faith, hope and love that got me through. And I worked every single day on constructive
things for those two thousand eight hundred ninety six days. And it was a miracle that
connected me to Donald Trump. And eventually he was in a position where some of the same
people were doing to him what they did to me. And I was able to come home. And as you
said earlier, Donald Trump's the only president in American history to have fired and freed
the same guy, even Lincoln.
He didn't do that.
That's crazy. Again, the name of the book is Framed, F'd and Freed, A Governor's Odyssey.
We're speaking with Rod Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois. You know, the news today
before we even got on the air for the live show is that Russell Brand has been convicted
of one count of rape, three counts of sexual assault. I have very strong feelings about
the case, Rod, just because we've been covering it very closely. And the one count of rape
on which he's been found guilty is just, it's a travesty.
this woman pursued him aggressively. She was obsessed with him. I won't even get into the
disgusting things she was doing to him physically before she even had been introduced to him.
And now he's looking at five to 10 on these charges. And he, like you, has three young kids.
He has two daughters. I think they're 10 and eight and a young son who's a baby who's three years
old. What would your advice be to him as he's facing sentencing on this on Monday?
Yes. It's not about you anymore. It's about your little children and it's your love for them.
And you must endure, persevere and overcome. You can never give in. You can't give up
and put your faith in God. But above all, beside God, it's your kids and that's your purpose. And
you have to live your life now, always reminding yourself what's best for them and getting their
father back one day. Never, you've seen their father give up. That's important to them because
they're going through hard times too.
And the stronger you can be, the more cheerful you can be in the midst of the storm that you
find yourself in, you're giving, you're providing a gift to your children. And I found in my own
experience when I would go through periods in prison and they were hard and there would be
times, for example, when I simply wouldn't eat because I felt like, you know what, I want to
sacrifice something for my kids from far away. I got a certain sense of pleasure out of that.
Not so much pleasure, but a sense of joy and accomplishment because it was a far away way
of sending some love back to my life.
little girls. They were eight years old and 15 years old when they took me away. They were 16
and 22 when I got home. So my advice to Russell Brand is if you believe you're innocent, never
give up on that. Fight hard. The justice system is a broken system, but there can be ways where
it can be corrected. We as Americans must fix our justice system. I can tell you a million reasons
why. But when it comes to your personal travails, Russell Brand, remember those children, your love
for them, that's your purpose. You maintained your relationship with your daughter somehow,
notwithstanding the bars, and he's going to have to find a way to do the same if his appeals do
not pan out. The book is by Rod Blagojevich. It's called Framed, F'd, and Freed. It's got his great
sense of humor and the wisdom that comes from a life that's had its fair share of challenges and
adversity, as you say. It's out next week. Go and pre-order it now and support Rod in his current
iteration. All the best to you. Great to see you.
Thank you, Megan.
Thank you.
Appreciate you.
Yeah, good luck with it. Check it out. Framed, F'd, and Freed.
Thanks for listening to The Megyn Kelly Show. No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
