Natalie’s Leaving Me for London

The host is in a state of intense stress and emotional turbulence, juggling a packed schedule that includes Natalie’s unexpected departure, multiple video shoots, and a chaotic Halloween party. The party itself becomes a microcosm of their chaotic lifestyle—filled with mishaps like a power outage from an air fryer used for chicken wings, a miscommunication involving a costume and a phobia, and moments of emotional breakdown. The host admits to drinking excessively and feeling detached, describing a surreal "outer body experience" from stress. A key interpersonal moment involves a misunderstanding with the host’s sister, who has a fear of small holes, leading to a confusing exchange that highlights communication issues and sensory limitations. The team also struggles with coordination and leadership during group tasks, reflecting broader organizational challenges. Amid the chaos, the host reflects on personal growth, the complexity of human perception, and the need to understand diverse perspectives—especially in historical or cultural contexts. The episode concludes with a blend of humor, vulnerability, and self-awareness, emphasizing that despite the pressure, authenticity and emotional honesty remain central to their experiences. Natalie’s departure adds a layer of emotional weight, and the host expresses cautious optimism about future interactions, especially in London, while acknowledging the difficulty of being emotionally present without overcommitting.

(upbeat music) - What's up, guys, welcome back to Views. We are back with another episode. - Woo! - Holy cow, a lot happening today. I'm actually like dizzy with how much is happening. - What's going on? - We're actually may faint. - Oh my, 'cause you know what? I'm about to be away from him for three days. You can't handle that. (laughing) - I know. - His whole world today has been coming. - It's been crashing down on him because I'm going to be gone. - It's like I was leaving for college. My mother flipped out. - Really? - Yeah, she was just like, "There's nothing's ready, nothing's done!" - Oh my god. - We'll get there. - It's not that, it's, I don't know what's going on. Well, first of all, we had, I had three Celsius's today in a row. - Oh, well yeah, that also was a part of the problem. - 'Cause it was an accident. - Okay. - 'Cause I drink whenever morning. - Yeah, okay. - And then. (laughing) - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, which is awesome. - We got, yeah. - But then right away, we went to go film an ad read for a brand. - Yeah. - And I also like holding Celsius's in those. - Sure. - But as I was holding it, I was drinking because it was delicious. - Yeah. - And then I got like real. - Drink the whole thing. - I got really hyped about it. And then we redid it and I did it again. - Uh-huh. - And I've been really jittery and I just had Chick-fil-A and it's like not sitting well. I don't know what's going on. And yeah, on top of that, Natalie. - That's two. - Natalie's leaving. - Yeah, it's the middle of the week. This is the busiest week I think we've ever had. - Can I get a sec? - We're just going through the problem. - We're working on three YouTube videos right now. Right? So we're trying to get a Halloween. Cause we just shot that. - Yeah. - Yeah. - And then we're just going through the problem. - Yeah. - That's an easy one. We should be able to get it up in like the next two, three, four days. Then we're also working on this Microsoft video that we did. That's a brand deal. Not an easy one. Cause we have to do a good job for Microsoft cause I really love the people there and I want to work with them more. Okay. And then the third video that we're working out at the same time is another business vlog that just so happens to be going on at the same time this week. That'll be on like three, four weeks. - Right. - And I'm not a good multitasker. So everything's happening at once. - It's very overwhelmed. - Very overwhelmed. - Wow. And that's leaving. - And that's leaving. - Yes. - Unbelievable. - To go get dicked down in London. - Shut up. I'm not going to get dicked down in London. - I love saying, I might go to that trip too. - You've got to get dicked down as well. - Yeah. - To get dicked down. - Wait, really? - Yeah. I was going to go. But it was like too much money. - Wait. You didn't go with you. - I was going to go see Wyatt. - Yeah. - And then they'll loosely Natalie when she was free. - Yeah. - So Natalie's choosing like the busiest week to go. - That's not true. - I was going to go like a month ago and we also had one of the busiest weeks of our lives. And so I was like, all good. I will cancel my trip, I'll move it. - Yeah. - To win everything's done. So now Halloween party's done. Our biggest event of the year. I was like, okay, this will be a good time, you know, a month ago. I thought that. Obviously in hindsight, everything sort of just kind of fell into this week. So. - But your girl is going. - I was, I wasn't even telling Natalie this to like manipulate or guilt her or anything. I was, I'm genuinely, genuinely curious. I was like, how on earth can you like turn yourself off from all the stress that we have? And like go on the date and London. Like I would explode. Like right now I'm about to explode because there's so much to do. - Well those, that's a high level person right there. That's all high level, but that's, that's like. - Do you think? It's high level? - Yeah. Like any like high level. - It's extremely low level. - The person. - The person that can turn off. The person that can say, the person that has enough confidence to be like. - This will all be here for me when I get back. - That's what Ferris said too. Ferris was like, the person we work with was like, this is very interesting that Natalie's doing it. This is the only way it can possibly be done. He kind of said like he's like doctor strange. - Yeah. - She's like, 'cause if she doesn't go now, she'll never go get laid and it will never happen for her. And I'm like, I guess I get that, but I guess. - Can we stop saying that I'm going to get dicked down and laid? It's like so vulgar and gross and that's not what I'm doing, like at all. - Really? - It's not even remotely my intention of the trip. - Is there any chance that you could bite in there? - I know. - Yeah, you could go too. - Who would keep saying that? - To the dinner. It feels right. - No, it doesn't. 'Cause that's gonna fuck me up forever. - But like normal, not normally. Maybe old me would go, but like I've just never been under this much stress. - Yeah. - Yours. You are. - I don't know what's going on right now. - He closed. - The biggest drama queen I have ever met in my head right now. - I'm not sure I'm drama queen, but Jay right now in this moment, I feel like I'm having an outer body experience. - Because you chug three Celsius is an under an hour. - I feel like I'm doing really don't feel like I'm here right now. I don't know how to say. You know how I've told you, like I've been trying to achieve an outer body experience? - Yeah. - I'm the closest I've ever been. - You get in there, huh? - Yeah, right now. - Oh my god. - I'm sitting right on top of you right now, even though I'm across from you. - Oh, David. - I'm across the room. - You put on weight. - No, anyway. - Yeah, so I'm excited for you. What is the plan when you get to London with this guy? - I'm not like going just for this guy. I heard already, I was trying to go with my sister and I. I wanted to just take one weekend. I haven't had, yes, we've been on amazing trips, so I'm not complaining at all whatsoever, but I haven't had like a weekend without you specifically, and probably, well, since probably Christmas, honestly, that's like my, usually my only time, so I was like, okay, I'm going to go and have a little weekend away, and also this man does live in London. And I'm going to go on a date with him. - I guess. Jay, how do you feel about this? It's, I don't, I don't compute it, but I guess I'm fucking. - What is there to come to you? - What would you really be doing just sitting here stressing with you, right? You're the, you're the main guy. You're the one going out shooting, directing. - No, I'm not, well, it just so happens that Nally has to be in the videos. - Oh. - I don't have that many people here that are like, down to clown or here for the videos. - Right. - I'm around. - So as I was saying, it's really funny, I mean, we have to do the pod just being you. - I got, I know. - Thursday. - That's actually gonna be fun. - Okay. - You're gone. - The Halloween party happened. I got to give Scott a Rolex. - You did? - Yeah. - And I was like, waiting for the right moment. - Where'd you do it? - Wow, I gave it to, okay, so why did you give Scott a Rolex? - Well, I've been wanting to give it to him for a couple months. - Yeah. - I bought it like three months ago. - Yeah, yeah. - Okay. And I was like, waiting for the right time to give it to him. But every time I asked to meet up, he was like, he was either, like, he got like knee surgery, so he was like rehabilitating that. - Yeah. - Or like, just couldn't make it down here or whatever. So it's never like the right opportunity to do it. - Yeah. - And then, so the Halloween party came around. It was really fun being in our costumes. - So fun. - It was a good costume. Best idea ever. Go to the majority of the vlogs. - Thanks. - Kudos to you. - It was great. - Yeah. - I didn't get to film much once we got to the actual party. - Yeah. - So we got to the party, and I was very stressed about everything not being the way I, I get into like, what is it, Bridezilla mode? - Bridezilla. - Bridezilla. - Bridezilla. - We were missing half the lights that we needed to make the, to make like the party look right. - Especially on camera. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I asked for lights on the ceiling, it just, and I got really stressed and then someone came up to me and was like, Dave, just have a drink and just forget it. And I was like, that's never in my life, has that ever worked, but I'm going to just pretend that it does work. So I went for it and I just started drinking and I sat in Alex's room. I drank like two beers on my own. I lit up a couple of cigarettes and I was just like, this is in my party. I'm just here attending. I literally just gave myself that mindset and yeah, I kind of fucked off the vlog for the rest of the time. - I didn't see him for like two hours during the party. - I mean, you were drinking beers in Alex's room for two hours. - I was livid. I was like, the party wasn't set up the way I wanted it to and I couldn't have been more upset. - Oh. - So I was in the room. And I tend to do this a lot of parties. - So what goes on with you? That's so funny. I had no idea. I thought you were just popping around having a good time. And when you don't see me, no, everybody always texted me that they never see me. It's just because I had in the room because they just get so, I just get so overwhelmed by looking good. I don't know. Who cares? Stupid problem. Anyway. So then I couldn't find the right moment to give Scott the watch. - Yeah. - But then I got really drunk and he was in my car on our way to the club after the party. - Right. - And I was like, fucking, I'm just going to give it to him here. And he texted me the next morning really funny. He texted me. He goes, let me read this text because I gave it to him and he was like, what? Because I was so drunk that I didn't even like do a good setup for it. I was kind of like, Scott, I want to give you this Rolex. He's like, what? And then I knew in the next day he texted me, hey, man, thanks so much for the Rolex. Did you mean to give it to me? I go, ha, ha, ha. Yes, yes, yes, I explained to him. And then he goes, we all were really surprised. I think we got a kiss on camera too. And I'm like, what are you talking about? - You get a swim? - Yeah. And then I looked back at the footage and I kissed him after-- - On the mouth? Yeah, like it wasn't like a full makeup, but like lips touched. - Wow. I don't remember that at all. - How many alcohol drinks are you drinking? - Yeah. - Not a lot. That's what I'm saying. - That's what I'm saying. I don't think you drink a lot. - I think he does. - No, no, no, no, no. I think he does. [BLANK_AUDIO] You see how he chugs a beer, right? Like, he drinks them so quickly. He doesn't even remember how many he's putting down and putting in drinking. - Really? - I think that he goes through them so fast. - No, I probably ate beers in total. - Oh, all the beers are not. - All throughout the night. - Oh yeah, he's just a lot. But like, but I think I was just under so much stress that I was just like, I was just like, blacking out everything. - Right. - Yeah, other than that, the party was really good. The party was a blast. - He's so much less. - He's so much less. - Thank you, dude, very nice of you. You were like, I just feel like a good Rolex is great for a real estate agent. That's what I told him. - And what's he doing? Is he doing real estate, no? - He's starting to try to, I just, I think he's like tried a little bit. He's got his license. - He got his license. - 'Cause he had nothing to do when he got his surgery. - Right. - So he just got his license. And yeah, he's like showing a home or two, I think, but I don't think he's taking it like seriously yet. - Wow. I had an interesting moment at the party. I was bopping around as Thanos and it was, I was having a good time. Then I got to a group of people. I got to your assistant Brooke. We were just talking. And then she goes, Jason, could you, could you leave? Could you please just like exit this conversation? - Wait, why? - What? - Yeah, and I go, yeah, okay. And she's like, my friend has Missa Thapasithalania. And again, I can't hear so well in the Thanos costume. She's like, my friend has Missa Thamalamanania or something and she has like a fear of monsters. And I was like, what? I was like, really? She goes, yeah, just can you go? - There's no way to three of us. - And I go, I go, okay. And I just walked away. And then I saw her later in the night and I was like, was that real? And she was like, yeah, kind of. And I was like, oh, okay. I was, I could have, you should bring her in here. I was, I was like, I was, and I was like, I was such a good child. - I don't even know if she'd want to talk about that. - Why not? Why wouldn't she? - I thought it was like so great. Should we ask her? - Yeah, I have a shot. - I think it's interesting. I want to know what she really freaked out. - But obviously, he's making up the word for whatever that phobia is, but like. - Yeah, I couldn't actually hear what the word was 'cause when the prosthetic is on me, I had trouble hearing all night. - But their friend came to a Halloween party. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like the worst time for that friend to be out if she has a real phobia of monsters. - Yeah, maybe he wasn't phobia monsters, maybe he's phobia of Thanos. I don't know what it was, but whenever it was, I was told to exit. - Maybe she didn't like the car, maybe she didn't like the way you smelled. - Maybe. - No, there's a reason. - Maybe. - No, we gotta get down to the bottom of this. - Maybe. - Hey, Brock, can you come here for a sec? - Also, we hired another person here. - Who? - We hired this girl. - Hire me. - Sure we could. And I just feel like, just hiring too many people, and now it's just becoming like a little chatty. - Well, it's everybody. - Yeah, everybody just saying that. - It's like a watercolor conversation style. - Here, Brock, share it with me. - Brock, can you share a mic with Jason real quick? First of all, Brock, do you think, do you think we're hiring too many people, and now it's like, 'cause I see all of you guys over there like chatting, like it's a watercolor. - Well, it's Presley's first day, and there was a little bit of meltdown over the vlog, so we're trying to make her feel a little bit more. - Oh, she's scared. - No, I don't think she's scared, but I'm trying to make her not scared. (laughing) - Wait, wait, wait, wait, what happened? Where's our fourth mic? - Jake, grab the mic. - You're right there. - Sorry. (laughing) - Okay, well, I feel like every day, there's a vlog gonna be posted. David's a little on edge. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah. - And of course, we picked the day where posting a vlog to have to be Presley's first day. - And Natalie's leaving. - And Natalie's leaving, so there's that, that's a whole thing to do. (laughing) - That's really funny, right? - Is it always like this around here? - No, it's not. (laughing) So I literally just said to her outside. I was like, it's usually not like this. - It's usually only on vlog days. - No, it usually is. (laughing) - Anyway, so that's why we're all having a powwow outside. I think we're all just trying to like bond, yeah. - Oh, that's really funny. (laughing) - Well, we're also, also the house is like in complete shambles. - Oh yeah, that's what's so much going on. - That's also what's making me like completely upside down. - Yeah. - Is this house is a disaster from the party. None of the couches are back. The rugs are all gone. It's like a hollow house. So it's like, that's really messy with my psyche. I'm like, I'm super on edge. Obviously, this isn't the best morning for me. Yeah. - Anyway. - Perfect day for the first day. - We brought you in here. Is it true? Your friend has a, I don't even want to say this. - I'm scared. - I'm scared. - Okay. - No, no, no, go, go. - What, what? - Jay, you said set it up the way you told her. - No one's mad. We usually need to take it. - I know the story. I was just telling them outside. - What happened? - No, my sister has, I don't know what this is, this is what it is for your costume. - Yeah. - My sister has this like phobia. It's a real thing. It's like a fear of like, really small holes. Or like, a really like-- - Oh, trifle phobia. - Yes, that. - Oh, you know it? - It's like a thing. But my sister saw your costume and she was like, that's like giving me like whatever the phobia is. And I was like, I kind of said told you it was a joke 'cause I was just like, it was just funny. - Yeah. - She was like, she was scared, and then you like ran away. And then Naveen came up to me later and she was like, "I'm gonna do some feel so bad." And I was like, "Wait, no, no, no." - No, first of all, I don't have feelings. Like I, I was more funny than anything. And I was like, and also I couldn't hear you that well, with the-- - Okay, that's not how Jason said the story. - What did you tell him, Brooke, when you told him about the phobia? Or before you ran away, what were your last words? - I don't even remember. I think they kind of just said that sentence. And then you were like, "Oh, sorry." And then you ran. (laughing) - And then later I saw you and I was like, was that real? - No, I think I said it was a joke. - No, you said like, "Well, yeah, kinda." - Well, she does have the phobia. - Yeah, she does have the phobia. - And she like, kind of said it, but it was like mostly a joke. - No, no, Brooke, but that's not how Jason described it. - Okay. - Jason described it as this way you said the last moments of you talking to him. You go, "Hey, my friend has blah, blah, blah, blah, phobia." Is there any way you can exit the conversation? - Oh, I did not say that. (laughing) - You told me to leave! - No, I did not. - You told me to leave! - Did I? - Yeah! - How many bearings? - Did you have eight beers? - I wasn't really drinking. - Really? - You were drinking. - I don't know why. - Did you, did you not tell me to leave? - I do not remember saying leave. - I don't, I do not, I don't think you said. - What do you think you said? (laughing) - 100% you said to leave, because I left. - Unless I said something and then you heard it as that, and then you could see 'cause I read the conversation as I said something and then you just walked away. And I was like, "Oh wait, did I offend him?" - You didn't offend me. - But it's making a joke or something. - So wait, because the Thanos mask has a lot of texture and it was just texture. - Yeah, she has a fear of that. - Yeah, but it wasn't like actually like she was like, "Got it." - Yeah, getting a little trigger. - And that's your sister? - Yeah, my sister. - Got it. - But yeah, no, I think there's some miscommunication here 'cause I definitely didn't tell you to walk away. - You didn't, no. - I wouldn't have said that. - Okay, okay, okay. - But you might have heard somebody like similar to that. - I swear, that's what I heard. - That's so you hear a miss here or something like that, and then make it even more awkward by panicking. - No, yeah, yeah, yeah. You just fully like, dip out of the conversation. So I was like. (laughing) - And then going into Naveen and be like a brook. - No Naveen, yeah. - Naveen fully came up to me later to apologize separately, and I was like, "Oh, wait, no." I was like, I wasn't real like that. - Maybe because of the prosthetic I couldn't hear. - Probably. - Sorry, okay, well, sorry. - Oh no, I don't care. I just thought it was funny. - Hi, well, thanks for joining us. - And what's going on with Presley? Is she okay? - Yeah, I think Presley's fine. - Yeah. - She didn't say anything to her, but I mean, we're just like, profiting. - Oh, I was just screaming. - Okay. - I'm just like, this is her first day, and like, obviously this is attitude of the day, or like the mood. - I love people's first days, dude. I'll never forget scans first day. - What do you say? - Well, it was when Natalie, we were in Florida or something, and Natalie fucking slammed the door. - Oh, yeah. - What did you say? You said like a stupid line to you. Like, "I'm gonna go take my big dick and a best buy." - Yeah, I was like, I was like, "Suck my dick, bitch." - Yeah, something like that. - And then she slammed the door. - And then, you know, moment of silence goes by, and he goes, "She always crash out like that." (laughing) Or sorry, no, no, it wasn't that. He said that like in an hour, like an hour later, and I didn't even know what he was referencing. Because it was like, because it just happened so often. I was like, "What are you talking about?" - I wasn't even like mad in that moment. I was like, "You're not getting mad at all." Which was so weird. I was like, "She just told me to go suck a dick." Like, "You're good." - Yeah, yeah. - I thought that was really funny. - Yeah, yeah. - It really is. I think Presley should be fine. So, I mean, she knows Natalie's sister. So I feel like Natalie's sister has relayed some of the-- - My sister probably like, "Don't take the job." (laughing) - Beware. - She just changed her name. - No. - Oh. - Isabella, Isabella. - I think you're just hearing people really weird. - Yeah, are you okay? - No, because her friends were talking to me and they're like, "Itsy, itsy." You know, "Itsy, itsy, itsy." - You know, and I was like, "Who the fuck is?" I don't know, is. - No, me either. - I don't know anybody. - You're so strange. - Bro, I couldn't hear! I had fucking, it was covered in my ears. People, Thanos had ears. We people thought those were my real ears. Those weren't my real ears. - Wow. We movie magic. All right, well, thanks, Brooke. - But other than that, how was your party experience at? - I didn't see you all night. - I know. I didn't see you like, I was just floating around. Honestly, we had like a lot of like our business brand relationship people here. So I was hanging out with them a lot. And it was so funny at the end of the party. So we all, we, at the end of the party, we get a bunch of party boxes, right? And we go to like the club. We take everybody there, whatever. And so I was with all of our business people. Like I have like, you know, the CEO of Celcius, Microsoft's there, YouTube, price picks, all these people that came to the party. And I'm on the party bus with them. We're all to chatting, whatever. And then we have like the love island group comes on to our party bus and my sister's college friends. And so it's like a bunch of young people and then like us older folks or whatever, older than me even in the back. and we can talk. the party bus going. Everyone's like, we've turned the music on. Everyone's getting like, you know, whatever crazy. And then, I don't know if you watch the violin, but there was a girl in the violin that's known for doing the splits. Okay. And like, what was her name? She was Z. No, no, I know Kenzie, but her name was like, clam slammer or something. That was like her name throughout the season. Like it's a slammer. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What the fuck? And like whenever she, like on the, on the show, like people would be like, she would just be doing the splits every single second. And so we're on the party bus. What you, what you would do if you knew how to do the splits, you know what I mean? It's like when a guy learns how to do a backflip, it's like, you can't fucking stop. But she can just move and bend in like crazy ways. She did that in the show a lot. I've never seen it in person. And so on the bus, I'm like in the back with all of Mara, like brand people. And then she is like breaking it down in the middle of the party bus. It was so fucking funny. And like I like, like if she had one foot straight up parallel in the or the other one planted on the ground, just like spinning around with her leg out and her tiny little Halloween costume. It was so funny. And thankfully, like they knew that she was from Love Island, like that she wasn't just like some random girl that like does the splits. And like we said, however, it's like part of her thing. And they were eating it up. It was so fun. They knew that she was the clam slammer. Not a random clam slammer. It was the official one. No, I got to meet her. She's really, really sweet. So sweet. Her energy is crazy. Yeah, she's really, really nice. Did you go to the club, Dave? Did I, I went to the club, but I got, I just got like, you know, again, too drunk, too quickly. I got home at a good reasonable hour, though, which is really nice. Oh, my God. I got home. It's such a great. I was home by like 230. Yeah. That's so amazing about our party's day and so early. Yeah. So we're out the club and it's midnight. I'm like, oh my God. Like we're here really early. Yeah. Everyone's already drunk. Like everyone, it's like, it's like this is the party, but it's also kind of like the pregame in a sense. The party's the way through. Yeah, the party is kind of like the pregame. But yeah, other than that, I think it was a success. Nelly was great. Nelly performed. I thought it was one of your best performers. Really? Yeah. For in terms of like what he sounded like and you know, like his energy put in. Yeah, I went to he did like every single song possible too. I thought that was just like, I thought he was incredible. Yeah, he performed for a long time. He really is. He really wanted chicken wings before his before his performance. And John was in charge of getting him the of the chicken wings. And they they brought like a grill for him to make the chicken a fryer to make the chicken wings for Nelly air fryer. Yeah, like before he went on stage and like John couldn't figure out a place to plug it in because like we were like we're filled to the brim with stuff being plugged in during parties. Like it is full like we're using all the electricity that this house can possibly pull in plus two generators. And finally got a place to plug it in and blew out all the electricity in the bottom half of the house. Yeah. So all the smoke machines every all the all the things that were lighting up in front of the house blew up because of Nelly's air fryer for his chicken wings. It's really funny. And then John was still getting yelled at because the chicken wings weren't done because a fryer just shorted everything and it's still to this right now you cannot use like any of the bathroom lights or any downstairs lights past the first bathroom. Oh yeah. Yeah. So it's not easy man. It's not easy. Did you talk to Nelly? Yeah, I did. I don't know. I always get so I don't know. Like I said, I don't really like to like bother those people. But um but it was he was really really sweet. Yes, nice. I had a thought the other day because I thought we we had a good day vlogging on Friday and I thought oh, I realized something I was like I need to do it more. Hmm. Do you want to like you you have to like if you want to like do good stuff. I thought this podcast is always us figuring out how to vlog. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've been doing this 10 years but we're still like you're out something about vlogging the other day. Okay, I was just going to sound a little cringe-worthy but it's almost like a it's almost like an athlete a little bit. Yeah, we were like Olympians. Yeah, well, you have you have to be and you have to be like in shape. Yes, you have to be like it's anything you have to be like you have to be practicing it. Yeah, yeah, using the muscle. Yeah, using the muscle. Right. So if you if we go two weeks and you're like, hey, Jay, come film. Well, it's not going to be my best. No, for sure. But if I was doing it every day, so I think you and I should be doing it every day. I agree. I mean, I think it's hard to do anything. Yeah, anything once a week. Yeah, like it's it was the easiest to log when we were doing three week, right? In a way, because it was so hard. Yeah. And that was all we were focusing. I mean, I believe that's true with like a lot of things. Wait, we kind of glazed over the fact that Natalie is going on this London day. So are you really like want to harp on it? It's beyond it. I'm just so curious. This is your first day in a while. No, it's not. I like how you say that. It's not. I've known you for a long time. I know that this is your first day in a while. What? So I'm also what's the plan? What do you mean? What's the plan? Well, what are you? Are you going to dinner? Are you going to like what are you going to see a play? Like what's what are you guys doing? That'd be nice. Yeah, we're going to go to dinner. What time? At a certain time on a certain day. Wait, but just a good gift specific. I'm not going to give you specific. Wait, why? I'll fill you in once it happens. I don't like to like I don't want to like talk about it and like psych myself up. And then I'm going to get nervous and then I'm going to be weird. And I'm going to overthink it. Okay. Well, I feel like now that you've already like declared that you're fine. No, no, definitely not. And also then is it that just kind of like part of the storyline that you come back like a sec myself out? It's making me sick. What if you what if it what if it's like what if this is it? What if you hit it all? That's why I'm trying to think that's I'm trying to figure out she comes back on Friday and she's like I'm moving to London. Well, no, I just think it's what would you do? What would you do? I just think it's very hard to go that far for a guy because I'm not going just for him. I'm pressing it on yourself. That sweet heart. Promote wrestler. Okay, I'm going to make him cut it. I'm going to watch this is going to be the first pod that I watch back in fucking months. And I'm going to make him cut specific things if you don't cut it out. Okay, be respectful. We're not even saying I can air your fucking dirty laundry. We're not even saying you want to go there motherfucker. Okay, we're not even saying that you're just you keep saying it. You're saying it. Okay, so as I'm saying, I don't I don't think that you can fly this far for a guy and come back and not have some sort of feelings for him. Does that make sense? I think just the distance alone will make her want him. If I like him. No, but I think like interesting. I could also go there and be like, oh, he's weird. Oh, okay. I think this is going to be like I've done this once, right? I've flown and like it's really hard. That distance makes you like want to convince yourself 10 times more that you like the person because you're like, wow, I'm already in so deep. I've just flown here. I see. I disagree. That's a little bit more realistic. You think you're going to be able to go on the day and you're going to be like, nah, that was weird, not for me. If it doesn't go well, yeah, well, yeah, what do you mean? Like I'm like going on I'm going on the day to just like have an experience. That's the way I'm like approaching it. I'm having an experience. I'm going on a day. I think that he's a great guy and I think that he's interesting. I think that he's like, dateable for sure, which is why I'm like, even entertaining the idea. But, um, do you think you'd sleep with him if the day goes well? No. Really? No, yeah, definitely not. Wow, you don't seem convinced. He's been convinced to me all day that I'm going to sleep with this guy. David would sleep with him. I would sleep with him. No, I told him. I was like, I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm flying a London. I'm sleeping with, I don't care if it's a girl or a guy. I also have meetings in London. Like I'm not just going for a day. I understand that. Who are you meeting with? But like, we have two business partners that live in London. Our don't risk partner lives in London. Keep playing for time. She knocks on the door. Oh, cheerio, Natalie. I didn't know you in town. Yeah, just came here for a business meeting. I'm quite busy. My schedule's actually really full run out. I don't know. Okay, so you won't sleep with him. Even if it goes really great. Are you that type of person that like, that like, just you have a rule where you will not sleep with a person no matter what? My intention is definitely not to sleep with him. Oh, okay. Okay. So you're open to it. I just like don't really know. I don't even know like how it would get to that. Well, that's why I asked what time dinner is. Because if it's like late, I don't think it'll get there. But if it's like early and you guys have a lot of activities and that you have a lot of time to like really hit it off, I think you could get there. So is it really? Is it really? Or the earlier side? Well, I think there's like a daytime activity. You're doing a daytime activity with them too? I mean, it's not like how many times are you meeting up with them once or twice? Just once as right now. And it's just the daytime activity. Just the daytime activity and then dinner. Is that night? She's getting laid. What about you? You getting laid? No, no, no, shut up. You talk about me a lot. My mom's going to love this. The daytime activity is not confirmed yet. But what do you think it's going to be? I don't know. He like wants to take me to like the country club. Like swan boating? Oh, okay. I don't really know what that, I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. I don't know to the clay pigeon shooting. Oh, I wish. Take you to the country club in London. That's pretty cool. I think that's code for having sex. Like there's a room in there in London. Such a vibe. Having sex before dinner is called it's called taking you to the country club. That would be fun. But with an accent. Well, okay. Yes. Yeah. There's definitely a really good chance. Can we take bats? Can we take can I make a bat with you? I mean, yeah, I'm not going to sleep with them, but like also if I the - I'll even bet you, and it's up to you, and I feel like I'll win the bet. Do you know what I mean? 'Cause you'll be like, "You're that much of a home." - No, no, no, not that. (laughing) I just think the pressures of like, not the pressures, I just think like the beauty of being in London, having a great day with the guy. - You hear me out there. I'm gonna be back in London in a couple of weeks from my birthday. Like, I'm going purely just to like, see who, I don't even, I barely know him. - And you're going back again? - For my birthday. - Oh, wow, that's, oh, that's why I was confused. - Okay. - Yeah, yeah. - Not sure, so you're going to London twice, I see. - Yes, yeah, exactly. - And if she does have sex with this guy, do you think she'll be honest and tell you that, David? - Oh, yeah, I mean, I'll definitely be honest. - Oh, she will. - Yeah, wait, why would she lie about that? - I don't know. - He's gonna dead ask me, anyway. (laughing) In a choice, but to follow the law, Jason. - Yeah, must tell the truth. - Oh, he'll dead ask you. - Listen, I think you should go for it, I think you should sleep with him. - I don't think so. - I'm just saying, have the full London experience. - Remember when we were vlogging and you called that, you called that woman, sir? - What? - Oh my god. - Oh my god. - You know, when you're like vlogging, your whole braid isn't there. - Oh my god. - This person came over and like helped us with a bit. They were great. And then they like started to walk away and David was like, thanks a lot, man. - Oh my god. - And we were like, we're like, it's a girl. (laughing) - Oh my god. - Yeah, you were, yeah, you were, you're inside in an out. - So I was like, you gotta go over and apologize like right now, but I was like being dead serious. And he's like, really? - Really? - And he was like, dead ass, dead ass, dead ass. And I'm like, you just need to apologize, just go over. Dead ass, dead ass, dead ass. - I don't think that's that, but that's like a Freudian slip. It's not like you were like, hey bro, you look at me. - No, Jason was kidding, but I, - Oh, you took it serious. - I was joking. - Yeah, but I was like, oh my god. - But it is, you're right, it's a normal thing. - No, I felt for him, it's a huge, like he gets embarrassed. - I felt so bad, like right when I said it, I like, I turned away from our filmer and I went into the car and I just sat down and I just started looking at the steering wheel, but I was like, oh my god. Oh my god, I was like, fuck it frozen. And then Jason comes over and goes, you gotta go apologize. And then Ilya over here, Ilya over here is, and he goes, what? First of all, what are you talking about? Second of all, that would make things 1,000 times worse. Why would he do that, right? I don't even think that person heard it. And then Jason's like looking at Ilya, no, he needs to apologize, right? They're trying to trick me. I'm like, oh, okay, good, this is a joke. But yeah, that really freaked me out. All right, well now they're listening. - I'm concerned, you don't have your head on straight, brother. - What? I got very scared, it came in here. You don't even remember the good bits that we shot. And you're, what's going on? - Do you understand that this is where the baiten, like is baiten, is that the right word? - I don't understand. - What? - Where this is where my stress is. - What's the bait of your existence? Did you go outside already night? - No, okay, good. This is where the stress is coming from. - Yeah. - Is, and guys, I'm sorry, I hate to talk to you about my vlogging problems, 'cause I feel like I should have this figured out as a 30 year old vlogger who's been doing this for 10 years. But like, I get here, I get an edit from the editors. And there are bits that are missing. I knew two bits that are missing. I'm like, where are they? They're, I know they're funny. - Right. - And a lot of times the editors don't know if we're being funny or we're being serious. So like, there was one bit in the vlog that I thought was really funny. That was like, we drove by all the valet people. And I'm like, look at all the people that like are working the party. Like, this is like a big event. I was just like showing the behind the scenes of the party. And Jason goes, why don't you go surprise everyone with $10,000? And I go, what? And he goes, hey you guys, I'm just kidding. I love putting in those situations. 'Cause he put in one of those situations the other day when he had me play a guy for $10,000. And he just knows that I have to say yes. 'Cause we're on camera. And then Jason's like, I wish we were livestreaming 'cause I would do that shit to you all the time. Every time we see a random person, I'd be like, David, you should surprise this man with $10,000. I thought that was really funny. But again, the editors, I think, look at it. Like we're having an off camera conversation. But that's not our, the moments we are having off camera conversations is the moments I like. So again, the footage came back. It's missing two bits that I know. And now we're looking at the edit. And I'm like, what else is missing that I don't remember? And I'm losing my shit. And now the fact that they've selected moments, now it feels like I'm even further behind. 'Cause now I've watched this and I have to open up all the rough footage and go through all of it again. So I don't even think this is saving me time. And then Jason walks in and he overheard us editing without him even watching the footage. He goes, where's this bit, this bit, and this bit? Three bits, he names, that I completely forgot about. And I really lost my shit. I was like, that's not even in here too. So like, that's why don't you go back to editing? - I know, I think I have to. - Yeah. - With the camera. - Keep it by your shot. - With the old camera. - With the old back to the ADD. - Yeah, can I go back to the old camera guys listening to this, please? - Yeah. - And hate the new camera. It's so cool. I like how high death it is, but like, it looks nice. It looks nice, but like there's something about that old camera that is just fucking vibes. I don't know. I'm trying new things. It's really difficult. And again, this is all added stress on the same day that Natalie's leaving. Take it late. To that she refuses to say that she's getting late. - Oh my God. I think yours coming up on us guys. - You're of what? - Just the end of the year. This, these last two months are insane. - Yeah, they are. - The most insane months. - Wait, why? - It just starts to steamroll. I mean, Thanksgiving and parties and-- - If you keep saying that, you keep saying that. Every time we bring up-- - It's time is precious, David. - It's fleeting. - It's like a real adult thing. - It sucks. - Yeah. - Another year. - I got to have plans for Thanksgiving. I don't know what I'm going to do. - Really? - Mm-hmm. - Where's that problem? - Fishing for an invite. - Well, we'll have friends giving here for sure. - Yeah, but you guys do that on like a Tuesday. It's not the same. - Hey, friends giving. You want to come to my parents? - Yeah. (laughing) - Wanna come to Chicago? - Yeah. - Really? (laughing) - Can we vlog? - Oh my God. Yeah, oh my God. - I would come to-- - No, I would come to, I would definitely go see Christina and Paulo. That would be amazing. Actually, maybe we will. If Divina and I don't go away and try to do something. - Oh, okay, so you know what was crazy 'cause you bring up my mom? - Yeah. - 'Cause I told my mom, my mom just went back to Hungary and I was like, can you please find out? Like I've been like really obsessed with World War II and the Nazis? - Yeah. - I was like, can you please find out stories from like when people like-- - Like from your grandparents? - Yeah, from my grandparents have passed away. But like from her sisters, you know, everyone in Eastern Europe has their own story probably of the Nazis or the time. Which is really crazy to see what she said. And this was just like, this is a very crazy statement that she said, her sisters friend told her. - Okay. - So her sisters friend was like in an area that was occupied by the Nazis very early on. And she said the Nazis were nice. It was the Russians that were taking advantage of all the women when they came in. And that kind of crazy. - Oh well. - Like what like-- - Interesting. - This is hungry. - Yeah. - It's interesting. - But it's like, isn't it crazy? Like how many different perspectives there could be of something? - Oh yeah. - 'Cause it just like, it really does paint a picture for you like, especially without like, especially without phones or whatever at that time. Like there wasn't like a black and white. You know what, I feel like no one knew what was going on and nowhere. - Yeah. - Does that make sense? - I think that anybody even had that perspective. Yeah, they got the nice Nazis. - What's so fucking mind, it's so mind-blowing. - That doesn't really make any sense. That doesn't make any sense. But like I could understand how someone would have that if they have like, just that one particular experience in that little village. - Yeah. - And then yeah. And then I was watching like more documentaries about it. And then they were like, there were like, a lot of people would read about things that the papers, but nobody knew if it was propaganda about like what was going on during the war. Like if they were actually that bad. And then it wasn't till later, obviously like more documentation came out about it. - Have you ever known like two friends and they don't speak anymore? And then you like hear about the fight and you're like, oh, I see both sides. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Right? - Well, I'm like, I'm so bad at that. - Right. - We're like, I don't, I don't know. - You're so bad at that in that. You do see both sides. - I also just like don't believe sides anymore. I'm like, like you could come to me with something. Yeah, you do that to me all the time. - Yeah, and then someone, I'll come with you with something you're like, well, Jane. So and so is right. And I'm like, fuck you. Well, it's just like impossible. - Why? Why is that impossible? - Unless there's a playback of the moment, like I just don't, I don't believe in that there is like, it's not always just a moment though. It's sometimes it's like. - Yeah, totally. - A business dealing war. - Well, no, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it's like years, so it's like issues that like, and I just, I can't get behind any of that. I just like, my I've had so many experiences where there's so many different, not even sides, just like moving parts to something that it's just impossible to make a decision because I hear something from you, even for my best friend who I trust. - Right. - Like not saying like what you're saying isn't real or true or honest, but it's just like this other person also has a real valid perspective. - Right. - Like it's just like how both people are right, wrong, super wrong, super right, and you'll just kind of never know. - There's a problem here when we hire people. - And it's happening right now. - I wish we had video right now because we are looking through glass at all of David's workers trying to do something. - So it's for my employees, all doing the same thing. The Trike. to move the prize wheel from the party and all four of them are doing the same exact thing and even our new hires doing it and it just seems to be like like we have a we have an issue here where where what is it now how do you explain this well I just think every like everyone's looking for somebody else to be the leader in the situation and they're all just looking at each other and nothing's actually getting done okay Taylor and new hire Presley are now staring at a black curtain on the ground Alex is just kind of Alex isn't even our employee yeah I mean he's just standing there there's a big wheel on the pickleball court a prize wheel another walking away what what are they trying to do move the they're trying to put the move the prize wheel and the giant disco ball into storage they need to wheel it out to the front so that the movers can take it as you oh Jay I have something that happened to me the other day that I want to address what wait real quick I have something that I want to address that happened to me the other day so a couple weeks ago are we talking about me watching Star Wars yes and I told you that it doesn't really hold up as much yeah and I feel like really bad about that I've been thinking about it for a while oh wow and yesterday I was watching Asia Voltron at the Avengers movie and my friend Alex goes do you think that like for the first like 20 minutes of the movie it felt kind of cheesy and I was like well no Alex like they they like invented the cheese like that is like that is what a superhero that is what a superhero movie is yeah they're allowed to do this right and then I saw another video of Casa Blanca have you seen the movie Casa Blanca yeah so the way Casa Blanca ends is there's that big famous quote that it's like you know I think me and you are I think this is starting to look like the beginning of a really good friendship you know quotes like that are in Casa Blanca and I saw someone say that they watch it with their boyfriend and their boyfriend was like I thought it was good I just like didn't like how cheesy it was like with all the quotes they used and the girlfriend was like that's because they invented all those quotes yeah that is where it is that is the origin of those quotes oh well that's interesting and I think I need to I needed to put that same hat on when watching Star Wars like yes does it it not holding up anymore yeah it's just because so many movies have used what is the basis of Star Wars yeah to start their own franchise it's refined so many times yeah yeah and it's been copied exploited it's time it made better so many times so like I think I have to go in especially to watching like a movie like Star Wars that's from the 70s oh wow and being like this was the most revolutionary groundbreaking thing and I have to watch it with these are the people that pioneered pioneer of this type of movie hundred percent wow Dave very good that big revelation so I have a big apology to the George Lucas family and you should do that with all film yeah I think you should do that you know like if if I send you a movie from the 70s I don't know about that an old Scorsese movie you know watch it with the same eyes like oh for the 70s this was fucking out of it yeah out of its world well that's all I wanted to say but just guys carry that on and remember that and amazing and that's all I oh and Chewbacca's here oh and Chewbacca's all yeah he says oh right bye guys thank you after my day and yeah that's kind of what I want to leave you guys with um enjoy the rest of the week Natalie won't be back for the next episode so definitely tune in for that one and wish her luck on her date we'll see you guys later bye
