My Robot is Picking Me Up From the Club

The podcast features a casual, reflective conversation between the hosts and guests, blending humor with deep personal insights. The discussion begins with a lighthearted exchange about haircuts, highlighting the bond between Dave and Nicole over seven years of grooming, and the irony of a man’s appearance in a haircut being seen as a demasculating act. The group then shifts to health, exploring how illness prompts self-awareness and vulnerability, with both Dave and Jay admitting to being unwell yet determined to push through. A major highlight is the excitement around Wyatt's music album, which has been well-received with the hosts listening to it multiple times and praising its emotional depth. They also share music preferences, with Jay favoring nostalgic indie and ABBA, while Dave shows a surprising emotional connection to music. The conversation continues with a humorous take on party planning, including the challenges of managing guest lists and hosting large events. A key moment is the discussion of the upcoming London birthday trip, where Dave offers to pay for the big room, demonstrating generosity and trust. The episode concludes with a speculative, entertaining look at future technologies—like AI, robot autonomy, and war—blending personal anecdotes with philosophical questions about human identity and societal systems. The tone remains warm, self-aware, and full of camaraderie, reflecting the hosts' deep connection through shared life experiences and silly observations.

what's up guys welcome back to views we are back with another podcast i'm getting my hair cut at the same time that's why jason's laughing nicole say hi hello nicole's cutting my hair this is a power move everybody you have no idea he's in his own house and we're yeah this is kind of cool huh it's a power move if anytime you walk into like a businessman's office and he's getting his hair cut right you're always kind of like whoa this guy's a big deal that's funny because i actually think it's opposite why you don't think so well if i had like short hair yeah i'd say it's a power move but the way i look when i'm getting a haircut i look like a fucking thumb oh yeah i look like a fat chubby kid who needs a lollipop yeah like she like puts all my hair down like there's no power move about this right and it's actually demasculating well the more she cuts the more i see your chubby face too that's wild it's getting worse and worse bad but nicole's been really good to me she's been cutting my hair for how long now what seven years wow seven years isn't that crazy you have not been into a barbershop for seven years um i don't think so but she also used to cut it on like um when we did like the nickelodeon shows yes america's most musical family yes dodgeball thunderdome yeah yeah seven years now and nicole what what is david's hair like speak speak to it for a minute well she's really good at this because because i'm always like you have to tell me when it's when i'm balding and stuff yeah every time she comes in she's like you're good you're good and then two months ago she's like did you stop taking your hair stuff and i was like yes i did oh wow and she's like okay i could tell and i thought that was really cool because for the longest time i just thought she was blowing smoke up my ass yeah but that kept her honest okay sorry nicole did you go back and start putting it back in yeah yeah i did well not slowly slowly nicole how would you describe my hair oh um you know it's got a little texture it's always a little dirty i'm just kidding um yeah nicole how often should a man wash his hair oh that's a good one oh like at the minimum twice a week at the minimum oh yeah no i wash every day is that bad i used to i don't think it's bad okay i don't think it's bad i think i think it it also depends on who you're asking i've gotten like 300 different answers from that yeah yeah like now i now i like very i'm gonna say i never watched it nicole's like gonna make a face behind me already now she's like i can tell um my hair is terrible now because the sides are all gray so that's different kind of hair i mean i don't think it matters what you do to your hair because like you you have a completely different perspective right you live a very privileged privileged life when it comes to hair because i have it all yeah yeah that's nice like how do you think would your life be dramatically different if you didn't have that full head of hair yeah because i feel like you're already kind of on your like you know i mean yeah you're on you're hanging on your last thread yes but i feel like what's yes but i feel like what's keeping you together is your beautiful head of hair you think so you think it's that much i mean let's be honest do you think you'd have naveen if you didn't have that incredible if you were like balding if you're like what i'm going to be at your age which is like going to be pretty gross yeah you think you could pull a woman like naveen yeah i think so really yeah i do because it's it's not about that it's about just the the vibe you have with the other person that's all it's about i think so we have to ask her i'll ask her yeah but i'm just saying i feel like like your hair does add a lot of confidence to you yeah it's nice to walk in a room and i feel like i'm in a room i see you're talking like a true fucking nepo kid how is that a nepo kid because you don't because because my dad had hair it's funny that you don't you can't even like actually acknowledge nepotism i never thought of this you can't even acknowledge what this conversation is because you've never feared hair loss in your entire life so yeah to you it's not a big deal yeah you don't give a fuck so what i'm saying to you is like it's just in one ear out the other no no i i'm appreciative i'm grateful for what i have really i am i am and i definitely check it out all the time and i'm like am i losing it and then i'm like no i'm not losing it i'm like i'm losing it nope no not even a little bit not even a little bit i'm so lucky but dave look how much you have compared to me i'd give my hair you'd give i'd give i'd switch hair right now to add to have your life for how much oh the whole life for the whole yeah yeah i'd switch hairs no no no how much hair would you give up oh i i'd give up to have all your money i'd give up all my hair 100 that's not fair i wouldn't do that because i'm not i know you wouldn't what would you no give me something realistic though that like i would take oh i need to trade more yeah like would you trade your hair for yeah an average 60 year old's hairline yes for a million dollars uh no no way no no no i like you suck cock for a million dollars yeah yeah yeah but i'd still have my hair wow yeah a million dollars not enough 10 mil okay wow okay 10 mil i could put in the bank and then i'd have enough for the rest of my life okay so you do you are aware of how precious your hair is yes yes i am very grateful but it's hard to be grateful for things you know that dave you're always trying you're being grateful yeah remember what i told you about the private chat yeah did we record on the podcast yeah i know i take everything i said about the private jet back i'm so sick yeah i got sick yesterday and it's not worth it i'm telling you it's funny when i get sick i don't want to tell you i'm sick because then i fear that you'll be like well then we're not doing the pod because i'm sick and jay's sick oh i'm sick too i don't want to get double sick i don't know if you could hear in our voices we're both sick we're both really sick and so yeah yesterday i heard you were sick and then but what about the jet did that make it into the pod yes okay i was like you were you were 100 i was like unfortunately there was a downside to it and it's you're in this like little tube yeah but you can get sick of a commercial jet too i but i just feel like the air circulation is totally different dude you think it's better the jet a a big fucking 747 or 757 is like ginormous it's like you're in a building i'll take being sick for two days for being on that private jet um i wouldn't do that i would oh my god it was so nice really yeah i still thinking about it still thinking about that jet anything's possible on that jet do you get do you get sick every um every every time the the uh the the weather changes no i don't get sick that much i get sick like once once a year i get sick twice it's always around halloween and or around coachella yeah so last year i missed coachella because i was sick yeah this year right on the nose halloween it's crazy how my body does it yeah or when you come back from a foreign country you get sick too you get sick a lot well that's different oh that no this is that's like i had subway at the airport different no this is this kind of sickness that i have now is i could be inside at home you know all year round and my body would still get me sick at this time oh really i don't need anything so even honestly the jet didn't even have much to do with this is coming anyway oh wow did you see anything good recently jay i'll tell you i'm really really proud of wyatt he got his whole album here we go no no no he released a single and then last night he sent me the whole album done that will be out the single is out but the whole album will be out in two weeks say your son's 35 when is he gonna give it up is he that old already how long has it been that long he's 20 my son's 52 i'm so fucking proud of him i can't even believe it so the album's out the single's out the album will be out in two weeks but he sent the album to spotify and itunes last night and we listened to it we gave notes this it's so cool now so you go in there and everyone can give notes on each point of the you know like on soundcloud you could leave what are you giving notes on like rearranging yeah just like things you liked or things you didn't like or and i was like i don't know listen to all his songs i listen to everything yeah it's a 47 minute album how many times have you listened to it i listened to it like uh since last night i've listened to it like seven times the whole album yeah since last night you listened to it seven times yeah so fucking good and so like i can't believe he did it like that is pretty impressive it's so fucking cool and then the other thing is like is anybody gonna listen to it not whoop how's anybody gonna listen to it i don't know you know what i mean like it's such a i'll listen to it just to put you will yeah i don't know if it's your kind of music okay you like way to sell it you like things that are like i don't think you like like indie rock you're not like east side guy what's the what's east side east side guy is like you know it's like brooklyn hipster lcd sound system the strokes that kind of music i like the strokes yeah i just like don't know the strokes are like a level above everybody but yeah yeah yeah i don't like yes i don't like when it's too like uh what band are you listening to and where are they playing like yeah i don't like that yeah yeah do you like do you like alternative music like indie music um like sweater weather by the neighborhood yes yes yes are you here you like sweater weather it's one of the best songs that's so funny oh my god i saw a clip of the neighborhood the guy the front runner he like went on with somber yeah and it was just like everyone was just gassing him up because like the way that he he's so nonchalant cool sexy rocker yeah you know rock band guy so i just want to throw that out dude sweater weather is one of the best songs especially when you're in the midwest listening that shit oh my god that like is what the midwest is like yeah sweater oh it gets me going if i feel like if i listen to that i think i'm gonna listen to that after this podcast and it'll probably get me out of my sickness because my body will be like it's cold get used to it dude put on a sweater what other indie music do you listen to that's it that's it yeah who's your favorite artist my favorite artist yeah like that i could go see and concert if i like chose yeah just to put on who's your favorite favorite who has like a lot of songs abba i mean it's tough like if like you had a if i was gonna leave my house for any artist living or dead yeah obviously i'd go probably for any dead artist because i'd be like how are they back so i'd have to go see that yeah but like let's say that they were dead let's say all the artists never died right let's say michael jackson is still around he will be for another 20 30 years yeah abba's still around all right just pick someone so no so let's say and i'm wearing a green hat right and i just i'd say abba no but why i say abba is because it's like i i don't like concerts because i feel like i'm the only person that doesn't know like any songs yeah and abba i feel like i know the most yeah but like even if abba i am the biggest abba like i'm a big abba fan and like i'm not kidding when i say i'm i'm a big abba fan but if a song started playing yeah i couldn't tell you if it was knowing me or knowing you if it was dancing queen if it was money money oh yeah they all kind of feel like the same i couldn't tell you and i listen to those songs all the time it's because you listen to those songs all the time it's because you listen to those songs all the time really yeah and they all just kind of blur together it's just this awesome i have that with billy joel i love sure yeah like billy when i saw billy joel in concert i'm like i know this song but i love them all so much i don't know what it is but i feel like people that like i feel like people that go into like i always see i'll see a tiktok of like the biggest billy eilish fan yeah they'll play the first note of the song and they'll be like blue eyes yeah and like they'll right away they'll know the song yeah but like that's a big fan to me i don't know it feels like maybe i just like don't retain him for me i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know as well i'm sure if i played you the first note of a song right now oh and can i tell you i've really closed my mind yeah when like this feels like a superpower have we talked about this when a musician gets on stage and covers another person's song yeah how what do you mean how are they do you not find that absolutely crazy every time a musician does that i'm like where the fuck are you pulling this information from like how do they know the words how have you memorized the song the chorus you're leading the band now you're playing your guitar you're making the actual music of somebody else's song that you like i just is it if you're really into music it's just that easy for you to memorize like beat by beat note by note every chorus by chorus everybody's song i mean i think they rehearse it for yeah they'll rehearse it it's so mind-blowing really it's like we'll go on stage or a little way we'll forget the lyrics of his own song like more and more that's starting to make sense to me i'm like yeah how the fuck would you remember any of your how the fuck do you remember lyrics to your own song if you've written a thousand songs right and he doesn't write anything down yeah he just goes he like he goes to the studio session makes like 200 songs in one sitting right yeah off the dome who's your favorite artist not oh halsey right no it can't still be halsey no it's not really i mean i still love halsey obviously but um my favorite artist no offense to halsey of course that sounded so mean how i said it can't she listens yeah i know halsey that's not what i meant i meant like like gotta have more the greatness i don't really listen to music what yeah she's my least favorite type of people my father said that i put music on in the car my father's like i don't like music you don't like music i just like it interrupts her prayers to lucifer i mean yeah kind of no i'm just like i'm always having a conversation with myself in my head so when i'm like if i'm working out if i'm in a car i'm on a walk like i'm just it like bothers me to have music on really oh my god my sister loves to put the windows down and crank the music and i like i like cringe like i just can't i'm like going out obviously like jay you know i don't like that either it's like a yeah i don't know i've never like i've never been like let's turn the music on one thing about dave is he's really good in the car at picking songs wait but jay so good i shazam every car ride with david i shazam every car ride i do too yeah you're really good at picking songs thanks but like i don't listen to music in the car used to be better unless i'm like really like trying to get people going somewhere yeah like i i like turn on music as if it's like part of the job i noticed in florida when you're driving that escalade looking like a mom you weren't really cranking tunes you were just kind of no no no yeah i was just going but if we were going to a different party yeah and i live it sorry lit yeah then i'd probably turn on what would you throw on to hype everybody up i love throwing on replay by eas i love a little florida actually okay um i love some sean paul temperature t-pain um t-pain obviously i mean really any of the the 2000 hits it's really hard with uh with people in 80s music in la people do not fuck with 80s music here it's really hard i don't know if that's like our friends our friends like never on a car ride we're gonna like throw on an 80s song i don't even talk to you like our outer than our the people that hang out here every day like i'm talking like tatiana gabby like they'll want to listen to like everyone wants to listen like sean paul yeah that's like all with 2000s is always whenever david like we'll have people over like we'll go out we'll come back to david's or whatever and he'll be like make sure the music's on by the time we get back whatever so the vibes are like good and i'm put in charge of that and every single time he's like you fucking suck at putting music on and says that i have the worst taste i mean it's some fucking crazy song i don't i put every artist that you just named is on my like go to yeah but you like need to like you need like like go into it you can't just like we can't walk in and it's sean paul temperature i mean listen i'm not like a dj unless the car ride over here has been fun but you don't know that so you have to you got to work up to sean paul's temperature yeah i just i just dive right in no i know and that's what costs us a lot um but what were you going to say in that before we interrupted you and went on a five-minute tangent about songs isn't that funny natalie's sick too why is that funny just like every like just we're all we're all having it and we all have it the private jet ride it's kind of sad i mean it's fine really yeah i like when i'm sick why because when i'm sick i actually stop and i go like okay and i actually think about my life i'm actually in my body i'm actually like i can do this or i'll say to myself all right like yesterday i did do a lot of stuff but at 7 30 i was like okay no more work i'm sick and i just went to bed yeah that's weird why because i'm like that all the time in your body yeah yeah i'm like that like i'm i'm pretty self-reflective guy so yeah i'm not in that i'm trying to do more of that i'm not tooting my own horn i'm just saying like i just really and i don't mean it in like a cool way no i know you listen to read my mind 10 times in a row okay i already told you yeah no i mean just like i just like to you know i like to play video games like i know what i like and that's it right does that make sense i feel like i am tooting my own horn no i don't think you're tooting your own horn i think that's like a characteristic of narcissism right like don't you just like do what you want to do and that's it like you don't really care about what other people okay do you do you feel like i saw i caught something in the group chat today which was nat said dave was trying to get out of the podcast and editing his video because he was too sick and then nat wrote okay we've given you the true yes it is it's really all you know it's like we gotta power through because we have a big day yesterday i only played video games because it was shit mid 24 7 what were you doing otherwise sleeping you've been sleeping for three days yeah i was sick brother i've been sleeping for three days yeah okay great we gave you the three days now it's time to get to work oh okay i just didn't want to make it i don't want i didn't want you to make it sound like i just been playing video games i just did that yesterday because we had work and i had to like get up in between it so i would turn on some video games i just also like i just wish that you would you know like i'm also very sick i just want to make it sound like i just been playing video games i just did that yesterday other people are very sick we all get up but now i hate to say this but women are just better at dealing with it uh obviously i'm the superior species i'm not denying that at all when a man is sick it's there's something different about it you guys just are just better at handling pain i don't know it's because you guys maybe you have your monthly period so you're like like you're better at like you're just like no it's coming but like when we get hit with this i have the i have the most mild sore throat right now yeah like some people if they had this sore right now they won't even be able to know that they're sick oh my god to me it is world ending for some reason really like yeah it's like i can't do anything if i could i'd push the halloween party back a week i don't know i don't know why i'm such a fucking diva when it comes to this i just like i love that you're self-aware but i wish that you would just like acknowledge that and just power through because wait what's your what's your oh why i didn't want to do we're just we're just really behind like we wasted the whole week well the reason i didn't want to do the edit today is because i have to make an entire vlog tomorrow so i wanted to do an entire vlog tomorrow so i wanted to do an entire vlog tomorrow to sleep and then tomorrow we need to shoot a whole vlog yes we do what's the vlog tomorrow do i just want to make one vlog party like we did of the birthday vlog i'm prompting oh i thought you actually didn't know either well tell me this is a dumb idea actually listeners tell me you're coming you idiot um i want to do one vlog of the halloween party is that fun i love that like just like top to bottom so fun i love that you're doing that i feel like that's kind of interesting that's what people want right that's what i want to do i want to do one vlog of the halloween party is that fun i love that like if i didn't know you anymore and i was gonna check in with you i want to see how this day went yeah okay because like steve will do it's throwing a party today today yeah he invited me very very very grateful in la i want people to make this i'm sick yeah nice he's having wiz khalifa perform in chief keith no way um we're having nelly perform oh i know sick yeah it's gonna be fun it's actually really good yeah a lot of throwback music so it's gonna be fun people are gonna love just a dream think about you think what were you saying anyway sorry hold on hold on sorry Sorry. So anyway, all I can think about is i can't wait to watch steve's vlog from that day yeah and not even because i don't even want to watch like party montage stuff i kind of just want to watch like him walk around the party yeah it's kind of like fun of course voyeuristically to watch a party yeah in the most raw way not the way i edited it where i can make it all like oh here's the party montage blah blah blah but like just like where we're all hanging out i feel like that's like the most fun yeah it's it's definitely the most fun okay so i'm gonna try to do that great and then okay so that's gonna we're gonna go out as characters uh like before yeah yeah i thought maybe we could grab lunch okay but now that i'm saying it probably won't happen yeah because i won't be done in my costume until four i'm so excited to see your costume again really yeah not even again this is this is this is actually going to be way better than the last time we did thanos really oh yeah i see you see the glove no oh shit it's huge oh but there was something funny about you being frat boy thanos you can still do frat boy thanos if you want oh okay you still want to do the pink you should still do the pink shirt oh yeah do you still have it no i don't have a pink polo anymore i thought the pink polo was so funny you like that yeah because it was like thanos thanos on his off day yeah no that's what's so funny about it is you sure thanos they bought a full costume i don't know why we did that yeah yeah they were like struggling to find you go grab a pink polo today yeah yeah grab a pink polo i think we could try both but i think that's so funny all right because you're when you're with your gear it also just get annoying and it'll get in the way of things like i'd rather you'd be like really comfortable and like you could be in it all day who else is uh showing up for this alias fat door great nally scarlet witch i'm spider-man dude john looks incredible as ned really did you see him already i saw him yesterday he tried it on it was fucking crazy really yes it was and it's not even like a costume it's just like he has to part his hair a little put on glasses and a red sweatshirt with like a blue button down wow it looks so i'm so excited to make like a tiktok with him where we do the handshake oh my god i'm so so excited so that looks good um what will you say to nelly what are your interactions like with the performers when they come here nelly's gonna be tough because i don't know nelly yeah you do like who do you know that's actually going to perform like whiz and snoop what do you mean like you knew them prior to you'll be surprised how many nelly songs you know it's not even that i'm so like yeah i knew them prior as like you'd met them before yes and i know them as characters like i know what snoop is i know what whiz is as like personas on the internet i have no idea what nelly is i know all of nelly's music but i don't really see like see like guy that's like hard to talk to a rapper guy or is he like keeps it you know is he like you get nervous before you meet uh big artists yeah i don't like to do it yeah yeah i don't like especially if they're performing here yeah all right like i have no desire to do it i don't like to do it really you have to though um you have to say hello right i mean 100 i think it's so strange that he doesn't like to like be like yo you're at my house it's gonna be fun oh i don't know i don't like i also like i don't know i don't want to add to their like just just i don't they do these a thousand times a year like this is probably one of the cooler ones that they do that's what i'm saying is like they do it so much that like i'd rather them they could just do their thing and then they can go i don't want to like bother i don't know any of your hometown friends coming to the party no no hometown friends no this is just raw dog los angeles whoa anybody you're excited about that's coming dude there's 1400 people 1400 that are on the rcp list what that didn't get through oh they didn't get through yeah i approved 600 and there's 1400 i mean couple hundred i didn't even look through it because i'm like we don't even have enough room people ever come back to you uh and say like hey man i really wanted to come to the halloween party um dude it's actually really rare yeah because i think like will i get like a sick invite one or two times maybe like will people be like sick invite yeah yeah maybe but like it's pretty rare because people know that they'll like they're yearly yeah it's like it would just be they're just fucking for next year if they were like what the fuck dude why the fuck do you not invite me i don't know what you're saying i kind of drifted off there like like like if you're if you're mean to me about the halloween party yeah oh yeah it'll be weirder next year like i'm like i don't want to do it because of pity i also really hate handling the invites yeah i'm getting so many requests i hate it and and it doesn't make me feel like somebody said you're the man of the hour somebody told me that and i'm like i don't i hate that yeah i hate that you don't need that like i i hate it when i'm at like i wish i could attend this party but as a guest yeah because then i'd have like a lot of fun yeah um and one of the worst parts is like saying no to people and i'm like i don't want to do it because i'm and i don't think people realize like like ilia will come to me and he'll be like i need you to get these five guys in and like i don't think he realizes that like yeah i get that literally like actually like 150 to 200 times somewhere else yeah it's like i can't just say yes to everyone no no and then i start to like that's why i don't ask that's like it sucks it really sucks yeah yeah yeah even alex like tiptoes around me around it's like so can i get my friend in i'm like yes i was talking to uh esther at your last party and she was like why didn't you invite wyatt and i was like i don't know i didn't want to like oh you should definitely invite well i was like i didn't want to ask she's like why wouldn't you ask and i was like i don't know i just don't want to be that person and why i really wanted to come are you fucking kidding me wait wait jay are you being serious yeah i just feel bad asking because everyone why would you even ask that's so funny what do i do just sneak them in next time what well i mean are you fucking meth all right i'll invite him next time he'll come to the next one i'm talking about like when elliot wants to invite his like lawyers and shit oh i'm not saying his kid what are you talking about yeah why it would have been fun is he here no he's in london right now i meant for your birthday party yeah jay all right i'll invite him next time that would have been fun too because he could have hung out with toby damn yeah that'd be and vardon you know what's funny is wyatt and vardon is really funny he loves vardon really oh my god he's fascinated with vardon vardon is so fascinating yeah he is because vardon's their age exactly but also appears way older and also appears extremely younger it's vardon is like an anomaly he's an anomaly you really have no idea yeah like is this a grown man playing as a child or is this a child playing as a grown man i think wyatt likes that vardon is like the same age as him but out there doing social media that's funny yeah he's always like fascinated like what's he doing that's funny how to your son that's crazy and not the fact that you're doing social media like that's the normal thing yeah that's way more interesting to see what vardon's up to yeah yeah i actually really appreciate that about wyatt yeah why it's really good at um like picking up the interesting things about people yes yes he's not snobby about anything no no no no no and i'm sure you have a lot to do with that especially with what you do as a job yeah yeah i think it's been very comfortable to like accept everything yeah yeah and yeah the fact that he feels that way about vardon is very telling of like yeah he doesn't have like a stick up his ass about like being a musician well how could you be you're jason nash's son you can't have an attitude that was your speech to him yeah how could you how could you be on a high horse daddy's got some bad news so your father is jason nash no humble hey it's adam w's birthday today did you wish him happy birthday oh shit send a text not a chance he's such a nice addition around here he is really funny so gave adam 10 of his company yes jonah's got this candy company and it's pretty good yeah candy's great i don't know how to describe it yeah and and and it's sour fuck it's just it's unlike any candy i've ever had before yeah and it's really good yeah and why i'm having a hard time describing it is because there's so many fucking products that we all have and everybody has it's like who gives a fuck at this point like how are you gonna take my word for anything um but it's actually good and i know that's exactly what people say when there's a lot of products that go i wouldn't lie to you but it's actually good i don't know if you've ever had a lot of products that go i wouldn't lie to you but it's actually good but yeah no it's a good one gave adam 10 and i think it's gonna be like his he's got so much passion behind it that it may be his big sell yeah he keeps selling he wants to sell it for 400 million yeah 800 oh 800 million sorry come on dave keep up no less not a dollar shorter yeah i mean i think he has a good chance yeah yeah i hope so 800 million though it's gonna he's gonna be at this for a good couple decades you gave him good advice you're like if i was gonna like vote on you to do something it wouldn't be movies it'd be candy yeah yeah for sure and as offensive as that sounds it's true movies is so much harder anyway yeah like i don't movies is luck i don't know who i'd put my money into for making a good short film yeah but like yeah if i was to guess who knows the best about food most about food or snacks yeah it's that guy jane that's celebrating her birthday soon so i would i would um advise you yeah to be nice to her yeah because it's uh it's gonna be a big one where are you going we're going to london oh it's called natalie's royal 30th Sign me up. Wait, what is it? I'll take the big room again. Yeah, I don't know. I don't even know if I'll get the big room this time. No, David asked me for the big room, and I was like, it's my birthday. David asked you for the big room on your birthday? On my birthday. Wow. That's a move. He did offer to pay for the big room. Well, that's why I asked. Oh. I was like, you probably don't want the big room. Can I pay for the big room and have the big room? Yeah. You know, honestly. Pay for the big room or pay for the whole thing? Well, I think that's actually. Pay for the whole thing, of course. I think that's pretty good. I mean, obviously, if I'm there, he's paying for lunches and stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, yeah, there's benefits there. Oh, really? Wow. Oh, my God, Dave. You're double invited now. Wait, wait, wait. But what were you saying? You actually think that that big room method makes sense? Yeah, I mean, I guess I like saving money more than anything. Because I don't consider Natalie like a big room type of person. I actually don't care either. Are you going to vlog it? You're going to bring a filmer? So half of it, the first half, we're doing that perverted road trip I've always been wanting to do. Great, yeah. That's going to take like four days. Great. So it's like, we visit all these towns in London. You go from like Twat to like- Cunt. Cunt. Butthole, Asshole Lane. Yeah, like stuff like that. None of those are actually real except Twat. And I think Asshole Lane is real. Asshole Lane is real? Yeah, yeah. Anyway, there's like 10 locations. How did they get all these cities named that way? They're not cities. Some are street signs. Oh, I see. Some are diners. I see. Like it's all, but it all perfectly maps along the entire UK. And it takes you four days to do it. Yeah, because you have to take a ferry. Because you're like really going through all of the UK. Oh, it's incredible. Yeah. It'd be so cool. I'm like so excited. I'm excited. That's like up there with me with like the seven wonders. Yeah, I agree. Like I feel like that's like a fun talking point. But you should show that whole trip. Don't just show like the three funniest parts. Really? Yeah. Because I was just going to cut to the street signs. No, like you want to see like you- I mean, I'm sure it's going to be different once I see the vlog. Yeah, I know. Or is it you, Ilya, and Nat? Yeah. I mean, that's so fun. Yeah, maybe the whole vlog will just be this. You want to show the street signs? Yeah. Yeah, I got to start letting things breathe more. I'm going to let this Halloween vlog breathe more and see what happens. And see how people like it. Yeah. Okay, Natalie? Yes. Then what? Then afterward, we celebrate your birthday. Then afterward, I've gotten this incredible, gorgeous town home in the heart of London. Are you kidding? And it's so cute. It's so perfect. And then- How much are you paying for this? Like what did you, in your mind- Probably like 30 to 40 grand. What? 30 to 40 grand is what you're spending? Yeah. Are you flying friends out or what's the vibe? No, everyone's paying for their ticket, but I'm paying for everybody else. Everything else is I'm covering. And I had to pay for my sisters, obviously, to fly. Wow, okay. That's awesome. Wow. So like, we're going to go to the- Okay, so here's the thing. I want to do like, I want to do the sexy London, Cape Moss, like that sort of experience. And then I also want to do like the countryside. Maybe we go to like Soho Farmhouse for the day. We're shooting like the little clay pigeon shooting thing. And we're in our little like wellies and our tweed. And, but then, you know, we're also going to the club in our slinky little slutty dresses. I love when I get a reminder that now he's a girl. This is the one time, this is the one time a year in girl world where, you know, that sound for mean girls. But this is the one time a year where I like really get to like just do my own thing. Like David Foley lets me like, thank God for you. I have my birthday. I didn't even know this. He lets you go off on your birthday. Yeah, my birthday is like free for all. Do you think it'll be better if I don't go? It'll definitely be different. I wouldn't say better. Let's explore that. You'll do less cool things. I'll have to pay for more. No, because I talked to Natalie about this and she's like, are you going to be a Debbie Downer? And I'm like, listen, here's the thing. Like, I'm not going to come to the things that I would be a Debbie Downer about. So will I be a Debbie Downer far away? Yeah. Yeah, but you won't even hear from me. Right. I'll just stay in my room. But like everything's going to be so. But yeah, don't have me come to the, you know, pumpkin carving. What about the clay pigeon? Pigeons. No, that's going to be sick. He's definitely coming for that. We're going to do like vintage classic cars. Such a pussy. What the fuck? No, but I actually don't like guns. I went shooting once with Heath. There's Padellacorps. I was literally. Oh, okay. I'm down. Yeah, exactly. I was literally like, like a fucking, like a girl out of the Barbie movie. I was like, oh my God. When I shot the gun, I was like, I can't believe people are allowed to have these things. Yeah. It's fucking really scary. Anyway. It's crazy. No. Yeah. So I'll go to whatever you want me to do and I'll have my best attitude. I was just kidding. But yeah, I know there's some things like I've, I've like factored in shopping and stuff for the girls. Like, but I'm also going to rent one of those like double-decker red buses. So it'll take us around to like every hot spot and we can get all the photos. Yeah. It's going to be good. It's so funny. Cause like, and this, this is probably cause I'm a hypochondriac, but every time we plan anything and I never really say this out loud cause I just don't care, but like all I'm thinking about is what if I'm a hypochondriac? What if I'm sick? Okay. Oh yeah. That's all I think. All I can think about is like anything when we're planning anything far away, I'm like, well, what if I'm sick and I'm on that double, double-decker bus? Right. But what if I'm sick and I'm shopping? What if I'm sick? You just have to do it. You're just, you just do it sick. And I need a hypnotist. No, you don't. No, because I shouldn't think like that. It's like, it's very. Don't serve your thoughts tea, man. That's a little phrase I picked up for you. Yeah. And, and worries is something borrowed time or something. Yeah. I get it. I get it. I get it. I get why you shouldn't think about the bad things, but. I don't know. I have anxiety about shooting like tomorrow. I already have anxiety about it. Why? So I'm like, oh, I hope we get something funny. We're doing all this work. We're getting in four hours of makeup. Every time you overthink it, it never works. Right. Yeah. Just literally come in. Who gives a fuck? Hey, go through all the TikToks I sent you right now and tell me what percentage are good TikToks or bad TikToks. I mean, but then the listeners won't be able to see. You can describe them. Um, I send Dave TikToks all the time and then I put like a little caption with it so I can tell him what it is. Oh, this one's horrible. Okay. What is it? It's why so much LA, why is so much LA nightlife in underground warehouses? And then what did I write? In case you ever wanted to open a club. Yeah. I tried watching. It could have get past two minutes. Okay. Um, but, but, but aren't you, you're always curious about nightlife. He explains why it costs so much to open a club here. I know. I just couldn't watch that. Okay. Go ahead. That one was bad. What else? Wow. That's so funny. I never even. I never even realized this. You send me TikToks and you put your own caption underneath. Yeah. I put my own little thing. Entry point. Little note. What's the other one say? Do two more. There's one about customer tennis. Customer tennis. Yeah. Where billionaires are playing in tournaments. We brought that up. That's a good one, right? Um, no, these are pretty good, Jay. That's like Tesla one. This is, this is a reporter eating a 1 million Scoville unit pepper on accident. Oh, that's pretty big. That was pretty funny. Actually. Did you see who passed away? Who? You didn't see? You didn't see? No. Professor X. The actor? Patrick Stewart. Patrick Stewart died? Yeah. No way. Fucking crazy. Oh, that sucks. I'm sorry. Right before. Right before we're dressing as Marvel. Yeah. Crazy. Oh my God. Hey, I saw, I went into Tesla yesterday and I, um, they had the robot in the window and I said, Hey, you have a minute for a stupid conversation? He goes, yeah. And I go, how much, how long until we get these robots, these Tesla robots? And he goes, I don't know. goes i love this he goes if i'm being honest with you if i'm being real two years really i was like really tesla robots do what do your laundry uh make the bed strip the sheets um fucking sweep like anything you want but two years away and then the other thing he said was and then what we're gonna have is we're gonna have humanoid loans so it's gonna be the same price as a car and it's the same technology as the car so so a model y costs you 50 60 000 you know what's gonna be the best what when you're fucking hammered at a club and your robot can come pick you up oh my god well you won't need that the car will come no i'm saying like you need to get picked up with electrolytes like what do you mean like you tell your humanoid like i'm really fucked up please but he brings gatorade oh you know and he comes out like what john does for you now yeah it comes out of the car and like walks you to the car and he goes there there that's gonna be fucking sick that's great or or even just like easy things like i left my credit card at home and the robot like runs into the restaurant like holding the credit card up above his head it's right here yeah like that's gonna be sick oh my god i can't wait speaking of tiktok i was on i don't know why or how but i was on like war talk yesterday yeah like people like soldiers and stuff that are out there and then i was just thinking about it and like when you guys think about war like what do you think about oh god carnage i love this conversation carnage no but i'm saying like the actual like act of war like when i when i think about war i'm like oh there's like a hundred from this side and a hundred from this side and they meet at a battlefield and they like duke it out but like that's obviously that's obviously like happened hundreds of years ago or whatever it's a lot of like sitting around yeah it was just so interesting because it's not like the way that i think of like i don't understand like what the fuck is war you know like i don't get it what are they doing well what you mean like an actual battle or like well i don't know hey i i'm stationed in afghanistan and i'm yeah occasionally i'm firing at some soldiers well i get i i i can visualize like camps and stuff where they're where they're stationed yeah it's a funny question but i can't like when they leave the camp like what are they what are they doing when they're like okay we found i don't know like i just i don't do they battle a hundred percent like uh like let's take the battle of felucia right which is when the okay the united states was in iraq and they overtook felucia right okay in that case the tanks rolled in iraq didn't have this is town felucia yeah okay and iraq didn't have much of an army and the united states took like Fallujah, so that's war to me. - Yeah, but then they're like there. They're still on high alert and they're there. Yes, and then you're there for a while. And then they're just occupying it until they pull out. And then you're friends with all the locals until there's a sketchy guy. Then it gets sketchy. Then you bring in the translator. Then there's a weird fucking bomb that rolls up, and then they've got to check it out. Then they get orders to either withdraw or keep moving forward. Interesting. Why can't you wrap your head around that? I don't know. I just saw it like – What was tougher for me to understand was like when World War II was happening and they were closing in on Hitler and his bunker, it was like I couldn't understand how each city was slowly – Turned? Yeah. You know how each city starts turning? They literally wave the white flag and become prisoners of war. But I just can't really imagine that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They keep moving. And taking real estate until – It was really interesting when Hitler – in this movie that I watched, when Hitler surrendered, all the German soldiers, the Russians came, and all the German soldiers obviously became prisoners of war. And Hitler's secretary just walked right past him as like a woman. Oh, they didn't take her? Yeah. The men were like, you should just try to go. They probably won't touch you. Wow. And she just walked right past all of the soldiers. Wow. It was kind of scary. Whoa. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fucking crazy. Crazy. Did we answer everything you wanted about war? I guess, yeah. I guess it's just self-explanatory. We also don't know much. We're both just content creators. So, like, it's very sweet that you came and consulted with the professionals here. Of course, yeah. But, yeah, we've never actually been in war. Oh. You ever see those TikToks about, like, if you were drafted or not? I fucking hate those. What is it? So, like, the way they – I don't know. The way they used to draft people is by birthdays. Yeah. And they would, like, they'd pull all the birthdays. And it'd be, like – and so it'd be, like, February 14th, March 18th, blah, blah, blah. That's crazy. And it'd all be in, like, little sections. And it'd be, like, first, we're drafting the A section. And it'd be the first 20 birthdays they pulled. And then it'd be the next 20 birthdays and the next 20. And, like, it's just, like, interesting to watch. Oh, wow. And, like, really put yourself in their shoes. Like, me, it's July 23rd. And just, like, looking at it and being, like, it's July 23rd, July 23rd. Am I going to be drafted? Yeah. And crazy to think, like, at that time, like, I would have or would have not been drafted. Like, it's just, like, pretty fucking mind-blowing. Yeah. When was this? When were you watching? World War II. World War II, yeah. Oh, like, when was that? I was watching it two days ago. You're asking me how old I am. You're, like, how did you watch the draft? It's my favorite comment when it's, like, it's, like, Martin Luther King doing something crazy. And it's obviously AI. But the top comment is, it couldn't have been AI. They didn't have it back then. It's crazy. I love that comment. But back to what you were saying about robots. Yeah. I saw a video the other day where you were talking about, what were we talking about? Autonomy? Yeah, you were talking about when robots were. Yeah, robots picking me up and stuff. I saw a video the other day of a robot replacing its own battery. Oh, wow. I thought that was pretty crazy. Like, I don't know why I thought that that would be, like, the one human job that people would have. But then I'm, like, no, obviously, like, the robot has just enough reserve. Mm-hmm. To finish the job, take the battery out. Yeah. And has 20 seconds left of battery inside him. Yeah. And puts the next one in. That's crazy. Like, that's fucking crazy. Will you buy a robot? Of course. You will. I mean, I have to as, like, just as a YouTuber, right? Yeah. It's like buying a hoverboard. Like, did I want one as a Viner? No, but we were. A hoverboard. We were all obligated to have one of those dumb hoverboards. Oh, yeah. Me, Jake Paul, and King Batch, we all had to get one. You think he'll walk in someday? And, like, Tay is playing cards with the robot? John, for sure. I think John, for sure. I don't know. I don't know. You'll finally have someone. John will finally have someone to pick on. I think robot is, like, I think by the time we figure out robots. Yeah. That are, that can do everything, will be the same time that we've also figured out how to make things look non-robotic. Like, do you know what I mean? Like, I feel like AI will fully be able to be, like, a human being. Oh, it'll look like a human being. And I think, I think robots, I don't think, I don't think we're ever going to have, like, you know, you see those lame Tesla robots that you can kind of kick over and, like, can barely walk. We've shot with one of those. Yeah. Like, those are, like, that's, like, the most rudimentary robot of all time. Right. But I feel like in, like, 10 years, like, I don't think you're going to be able to tell the difference between you and a robot. There'll be skin on it. For sure. Yeah, yeah. Right? Yeah, I've seen those sex robots on Instagram. I feel like in 30 years. Yeah. No, fuck it. In, like, 50 years, robots are going to have to have, like, certain ear piercings or something so people know they're robots. Like, you're going to have to have, like, a stamp on you or something so people don't get you confused. Because I'm sure it's going to be that. Oh, damn. Yeah, and then war will be really cool now because it'll be robots fighting the war. Oh. Yeah. No, it won't be. It'll be robots versus humans. Oh, man. That's grim. I actually don't think it'll get there. Yeah, you think there'll just be an apocalypse before then. No, but I think robots will know that. Do you have three days of supply? Do you have a three-day supply of food here? You're supposed to, you know. No, definitely not. We have a bunch of Starburst. Literally. There's a lot of Starbursts. A bunch of waivers. Three days of supply. A lot of protein bars. Jay, why the fuck would I need three days of supply? Well, that's been in the news lately. Like, all the military bases were told to stock up on food, make sure you have three to seven-day supplies. That's, like, a weird number. I feel like you either need, like, three days of supply or three days of supply. Like, three months or zero. Well, like, the thing is, is, like, the grid goes down. You need three days until they can get it back up. Huh. Yeah. Someone said something interesting the other day, and they were like, I can't wait until AI wipes away all our debt. Yeah. And, like, that's pretty true. Like, isn't everything on a computer? Can't something just enter a database and just erase everyone's debt? Yeah, but then, like, the whole system would be pretty fucked. No, no, no. Obviously, it's going to be fucked. Oh. Yeah, yeah, totally. Or maybe they meant erase it by making enough money to erase it. No, no, they literally meant, like, hack into it. Oh, hack it. But I'm just, like, it's kind of crazy, like, what things, like, you can just wipe away, because there's so many things that are no longer. Imagine you wake up, no college debt. Ugh. Wow. It'd be crazy. Yeah. I mean, you, for you, no high school debt. Yeah, that's true. All right, guys. That's all the time we have for today. We'll see you for the Halloween vlog. Going to try to make it a more chill vibe vlog. And we'll see you. for the next pod. Bye.
