This transcription explores the nature and purpose of the church, emphasizing its foundation in historical events. The speaker begins by defining the church as the community called by God after Jesus' resurrection, referencing Acts 2:42 to highlight the early believers' commitment to teaching, fellowship, and prayer. The historical reliability of Christianity is defended through eyewitness accounts of Jesus' resurrection, including Paul's mention of 500 witnesses and the apostles' willingness to die for their testimony, distinguishing their faith from mere indoctrination. The speaker argues that Christians are saved into a family, not isolated individuals, and that the local church is essential for spiritual growth, accountability, and service. Hebrews 10:24-25 is cited to encourage believers not to forsake assembling together but to exhort one another. The church provides a context for progress in faith, as seen in Philippians 1:25, and for developing relationships with fellow believers. The speaker critiques wrong expectations, such as viewing church as a networking or welfare hub, and stresses that the true offering is Jesus Christ. Leadership and structure are vital, as early churches had elders and pastors. Ultimately, the church is a place for growth in God's word, genuine relationships, accountability, and mutual service, not personal gain or isolated spirituality.
[Music] Welcome to the Teaching Ministry of Past and Nelsing in Haguya. The envisions men in their multitude say, "Train and send out for the work of ministry." Be stared as you listen. [Music] Before we talk about my church, I'm discipleship. And I think one of the very important things to talk about first of all is as the Lord Leader Mahat was, what is church to begin with? Like why exactly do we do all these things that we do? Please, I go ahead here. Why exactly? What end is dummy here? She is? dummy with front. Jesus told me, "Your friend, she's in a good kid." Why she? Okay, okay, okay. Hi dummy. Actually, dummy, you know I say dummy, okay. All right. So today's ceremony is going to be now with the official Dane Samonai here. We look at Jesus after Jesus died and rose again. The Lord called people to Himself. And how do you call people to Himself? Those people were now called the church. We look at Acts chapter 2. You look at how they preached. You see Acts 2.42, which we are going to call to look at. We say, "The continued India posse doctrine." Guys, are you with me? The continued steadfastly, steadfastly. Come on, say steadfastly. Give me a second. All right, say steadfastly. The continued steadfastly, the apostles doctrine and fellowship in the breaking of bread and prayer. And Jesus died, Jesus had the apostles go off and He said, "Make disciples." And then the people are God saved. They got them and then they taught them. Because if you look at Acts 19, if I'm not mistaken, you will see the founder Paul having debate every day in the temple, right? No, not the temple, the public space, the place of debate. The apostles debate every day. He went to the house of one called Tyrannus, and then the Bible says, "He met with disciples daily." And he was very good to see you. He met with them daily and he was teaching them and teaching them the ways of this life. Look at Jesus. You know, after Jesus was from the dead, the next the Hedian ascended to heaven. Are you guys with me? The Hedian ascended to heaven the next day. The Bible says that He steadily done for forty days, teaching them the matters of the kingdom. He steadily done for forty days. So I don't know why the, I feel like the Lord is not doing this in this area. Just so you know, you guys are probably tired of me seeing this. We have no belief, completely devised females. This day is, ampoule every day is that the man called Jesus walked here. He died. He was buried and he rose again. He died. In fact, there was ampoule every, I mean there's a role man at all that the man called Jesus was crucified. So much so, you know, there are eight E's I think. And his enemies did testimony truly that he didn't walk there. So when a lot of people say Jesus is a myth, he's very interested. There's eyewitness testimony. Paul tells us in first Corinthians 15, which was written as a letter, not as scripture, that there were 500 people who saw him at the walls. And he was telling them many of those people are still alive till now. So if those people were, you see, the gospels are dated between, I think 30 to 40, 40 to 60 years, I think roughly about after Jesus died and rose again. And compared to every other historical account, you know, a lot of people say that's a long time, some parts of the story could have become legend. But many of the other accounts we have for his, if we put the same scrutiny we put on the gospels, on other historical documents, we won't have any history. Because many of those documents that we have, we only have them hundreds of years after the events happen. And we see take them to be true. But we compare those with the gospels. The gospels are the news flash. In fact, I think I saw a document that was arguing that at worst it was about 30 something years. That's something years after that we see the gospels. So when you look at the crops of the Christian faith, you see Paul who make both claims. He'll say, "In Jesus did no right from the dead, we are of all men most miserable." You see, his enemies had testimony. That's go and tell them that the disciples actually stole his body. Eyewitness testimony. The disciples had excruciating witness, meaning they died, gory, painful deaths because of what they saw. So when they opposed, we said, "What our eyes have seen, what our hands have handled." He's not talking of spiritual realities. He's talking about what we actually saw. That's why Jesus said we will be witnesses. So witnesses was not a spiritual therapist. They were going to testify of what they actually saw. The difference between someone who is a terrorist and their apostles. If the terrorists has just been indoctrinated so much that he believes that if I blow up this planet, it's going to be a right cause. But their apostles, in fact, they had no to lose. He wasn't just indoctrination. Somebody told somebody that, "Tow somebody that, to somebody." It is what they saw. And if they had given it, they would have lived on. Nobody dies. Not just a bullet in the head. No one dies painfully. Grue summary for what they know is a lie. Come on, are you guys with me? No one dies. Again, you got Kita. I mean, when I read about it, it's just wild. You see, Pita was saying things like, "I'm not worthy." You know, there's one thing to say. Guys, come on. There's one thing to say, "I'm not worthy to receive the honor you are giving this person." It's another thing to say, "I'm not worthy to die like this person." And then Pita now says, "You see, find me upside down." A lot of that died that way. Which is actually cruiser. Because there's a high chance you will be dealt. He said, "I'm not worthy to die like my lord." Phamos did not doubt forever. Phamos went to India. He was, I think he was, he went through by a spear or he was thrown by a cliff. One of them. He was run through by a spear. There was another opponent that was dragged through, he was dragged through and turned with a horse. And all they had to do was to say, "Jesus did not die." Come on now. Have you not watched those movies where someone commits a crime? And then they just put two of them in different rooms. Now, we follow them, we get a break. But then they would say, "I cannot deny what we have seen." They had a lot more to lose. And that's interesting. They truly, truly, he uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Do you know what it means that the Jewish messiah was going to die the death of the common criminal? The book, the book is called "Cursed is Every Man That Hangs On A Tree." Yet, that is exactly how he was going to die. A cost man is my savior. Please are you with me? So I mean, I did want to ask these questions, you know, when I was my second year in uni. And then by providence, I had a roommate who brought a book. He said, "I want to give you a book." And he said, "I want to give you a book." And he said, "I want to give you a book." And he said, "I want to give you a book." Should we do a e-top project?

'Has anyone shown you an act of pain?' and you say I need to be born again. Again. That's the plan. Communities go to plan for safety so that when you are together, you can look at your side and be in pain. 'The Bible, the Episodes were written to church, and then the ones that were written to church, and the ones that were written to church, and then the ones that were written to individuals were written to pastors of churches, and then the other one was written to Philharmon, was written to him by his pastor. So when he was said I can just stay by myself, what do you look like in the whole Bible?' 'The next verse is 25.' He now says not for sec- meaning the context of verse 24 can only be found in verse 25. 'Not for sec-ing the assembly of ourselves together, as is the man of some.' 'I want you to look at your Bible very gently, say is that your man, is that your man, is that your man?' 'I want you to look at your Bible very gently, say is that your man, is that your man?' 'Not for sec-ing the assembly of ourselves together, as is the man of some, but exotting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.' So as we look forward to our glorial hope, maybe Ganga, you with me, as we look forward to our glorial hope, that's what we look at in the middle of service, as we look forward to our glorial hope, as we look forward to him coming back and finding faith on the earth in our lives. What we are doing is we are exotting one another, and encouraging one another onto good walks. Can I go further now? The Christian is not a Luna. The Christian is a family man. Can I preach now? The Christian is a. As a Christian you don't say, 'Oh, it's just how I am, I don't like people.' No, you are saved into a family. You are saved into a family. Let me say something very quickly. You see here, as believers. Thank you David. Being a believer gives you an edge when it comes to fighting trauma. But it doesn't save you from trauma. The reason I'm saying this is because there are many people who are genuine reasons, not to be around people. You have been hurt by friendships. I have. Have you been? When I say friendship, how do you break that pin? I say that for me, get from the wealth of experience. You have been hurt by people. You loved and then the love was not reciprocated. Or they repaid your kindness with evil. Premium, prime, gold plated evil. And they deviled before God and said, 'Lord, I vowed before you in your name.' Never again. You know, it happens to me and the Lord began to walk on my heart. And after a while, He let me know, 'Love is not weakness, it's strength.' Say, 'Hum, I better believe it.' Love is not weakness, it's strength. You know, talking to my wife and the one that has caught you with us, my wife and the other one, Kufo, they were saying, 'I said something that I have been on my heart for a while. Most times, a trauma response is self-defense. You have been hurt, I will never be hurt again. So I keep to myself. But the first thing is you must first realize that, first of all, let me never talk pragmatically. Don't know how to do the Christian life first. But who pragmatically? We talk to relationships. You can't do much in career. Without relationships, you can even with marriage because the person you get might or cannot be all in all. They do need space. Please, I need space. If not for anything, can I tell you something? If not for anything, for the sake of ministry, Jesus sent us to preach the gospel. You must be a relationship expert. Jesus made the woman a diwella next to her water. Guess what? He never drank it. Read this story. Yes. Out of the way people are influenced. He never drank it. He took the water. Went. A, let me just put it this way. First of all,
captory a tough na molds celebrated a thundercount on the main story is not to raise me. The job of the ministry of gifts is not to do as I said from the main story is not necessarily to just do spiritual things. This is the first thing they are supposed to do and when you look at the verse, I also prefer the Vandalist pastor teacher this is their job. So a prophet should be still be proficient in handling the word of God. You can't say my gift is to see. No, when you see, when I say what do you see in the word? I get to meet after seeing. He said I see in the spirit. Good. What about the eyes of your understanding? How enlightening has he be? Do you understand? That is the job. Put back my verse guys. Please don't tease me. Keep my verse on. He said and the knowledge of God's son that we will be mature in the Lord measuring up to the full and complete standard. Okay. Meaning that God's plan is that as we study the word of God, we're supposed to be mature. So in teaching or when you are consistently being taught, you're supposed to come to a point of maturity. Hmm. I want to show you a verse. Philippe has chapter 1 verse 25. Are you there? Let me see. Let me have it in. In KJV. Philippe has 1 25. I want you to read this like a mask choir. 1 2 go. I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy. Really like a mask choir. I want to go. So you see this is the Apostle speaking. He said, I want to continue and confidence of this. I will remain and continue with you and the end product of my remaining and continuing with you is progress. Joy of it. Meaning as it pertains to your work with God, they're supposed to be a measure. What do you know now that you didn't know three months ago? Come on. What do you know now that you didn't know before? What do you know better now? Is the intention that I'm not giving you? Why do we go to church? Point A. To um, spells on to good works. He brings them points B. Because usually they overlap. Are you here? Yes sir. There should be progress. You should have grown in the, you know, I'm going to talk on my church and deviation but can I tell you something? If you really want to study your Bible, one of the easy ways to really love Bible study is to be in a Bible teaching church. Easily. Because you most likely will leave every service like, how come I've not seen this? Let me go back and study. It's a hack. Amen. Amen. So I'm going to say this things like spiritual gifts, things like the communion, things like accountability. They only make sense in the context of the local church. Not a committee or friends though because I've heard a lot of people say things like, oh, um, I'm not really into church. I just have a few friends. We just got not together. We just share our opinion. What does the verse mean to you? Okay, this is what it means to me. And wow, that's so cool. No. In the early church, they met when they met in houses, they were elders. There's an elder over the assembly. There was leadership as a pattern to the local assembly. So you don't just got done say this. We're all just sharing our opinion. That's not how it works. And that's why we will see Paul write it later, essentially, the church because that's not how it works. When Jesus is writing to the churches, in Revelation chapter 2, chapter 3, he writes to the elder to the angel over the church. That's their past. He will not just say, all right, just give the letter to whoever you see. I did it after all of them are sharing their opinion. Praise the Lord. What do you expect in church? See, a lot of people go to church with wrong expectations. Some go to church to network. You know, I remember I was reading a book about church growth and then the guy was talking about the man who got here. He was talking about, he said, one of the reasons to desire a big church is because at least people can come in there and network and find jobs, something along those lines. And I'm like, that is nowhere where we are here. We are not an employment hub. A lot of people come to church expecting welfare. Can I tell you something? We're going to talk about church and money. See, there are Bbq guidelines on who to give welfare. For example, if somebody just comes second time, you say we need help, you read. No. Absolutely not. I don't know you because was supposed to do good to all men body and especially. I don't know you. So, even the many of you probably saw the Instagram video where the person called and was calling the church and say, I need help. I can't verify how you could have used it to buy jobs, please, that week you probably would have wanted to buy it. I don't know, I can't do that. You know, I went to preach all the time. It's good food I invited. It's true, it's good food for them. So I went to preach, it was such a powerful administration. I remember that in law. As I was, I was, I mean, it was too, oh my god. God was, I still think about it. So imagine how I look now. Imagine how I looked in. Good for how many of us that's why she. So you know, you said I invited me. Imagine how I look. Twenty-eighths in how many years it could. Jesus Christ. That's a long time. My god. My god. It is. Twenty-eighths in, so I went to minister and then this guy, which is out to me, he says, oh, and then that's very nice. He collects my number. And that I don't talk about it in the Lord, but no time. After the administration, very powerful, you know, sir, remember, he collects my number. And then, oh, I went into change and I was on my way back. And then this guy calls, text me a few days later and says, oh, and things are hard. Please collect. Please, I need help. I'm doing this. Please give me money. And I just went from the world about welfare code. I said, the devil is alive. So I called him. I said, I didn't remember the church. He said, oh, he's from, I'm not that church. He's not a member of the church. They invited me. He's from another church and came to that church so that he could beg the guest minister. Ask him, bro, ask your pastor. Go to your church. Your church. He knows about, we know all Christians. Please let me beg you on that. But don't let anybody gaslight. Don't let anybody gaslight. Especially for our people. Please hear me with black tax. If you don't have money, you don't have money. Don't let anybody gaslight you. It's after I thought you used to pray. I still do. I will still pray immediately after this call. So, but a lot of people come to church, expected for networking opportunities. And can I say something? That is what was marketed. See them. That's what was marketed. Or we have, are you looking for a job? God Jesus gives me.

Because Proộc cells Akar pithu in general because if you don't have man you can see. Following Jesus's teachings you shouldn't have a problem with your brother and still be prayer. Jesus said drop it. Sausage out. If you don't know what that verses. It also say if you have a problem with your brother. It says if your brother has ought to engage you. So when the Bible says blessed are the peacemakers it means that the believer is actively looking for a way to be at peace with men. This is not people pleasing. This is looking to be at peace. Yes, I am. Alright. And now you are provoked to good works also like we have said. Please I beg you don't. Don't leave a church and I'm saying a church because maybe there are people among us also just came to visit and we go back to the al-Lukah assembly. Don't leave the church. Don't leave the good place for cause that don't outweigh the proofs. Because the truth is there is no place that is perfect. Once you joined an imperfection was at it. Accept you a perfect person and seek to be that joint that supplies. Come on I beg you not to seek to be that joint that supplies. Now please hear me and hear me very well. A good church is not known by its ambience. A good church is not known by its better or good music. You know I heard people say I don't really like that church why the music is too loud. I am thinking but the music is not why I am better. Also I can say I actually like this church cause the music is great. I am like did you sing throughout the service? You know some people once they've seen me like this they automatically think the eyes of the understanding would be enlightened. Almost immediately. Once they see it scream they think as many as are let. Are you being do us now? No. A church is not known by its ambience. It's not known by its better or good music. It's not known by the popularity of the pastor. In fact let me tell you on that God. You know I saw a statistic he said when a church grows the percentage of the people that serve the volunteers in the church drops. It almost does we show because I mean if a church has 70 people and 30 people are serving you know you know you used to be like oh my god a lot is still happening. They wonder they are still with here and there. But actually the church of the 1000 people and then you have 300 volunteers. No let me just say 70 people, 70 people, 50 people are serving. They are still with just bodies and 50 of the 70 story about the pastor. But then the church of the 1000 people, 300 people are serving. A lot more is being done. But then every other person who just call man go and be like you. It's great. And guess what is because our Sunday services are like a production. They are like a production. And I say they are like a production because we just call them I will say I will just say. I will just say you know I will just say and then you just sit down 20 minutes a month. I tell you. You can have 20 minutes a month and no God will. I'm telling you. People that will not be able to do the week. And I was hoping to. Um. We said that I went to.

aadah in heaven. I used to be context. Verse 20. For where to operate a God that in my name, I am getting the misogynist of the one exactly is Jesus saying. Jesus is saying in the church, it can't see the sins against me now. And I go to him, if he hears me again the brother, it can't see the sins not here, he'll call it, can't sleep to two people, two leaders. If Kisley still adamant, I will now bring Kisley before the church. I said praise. Kisley has seen the sins against me, if Kisley says no, I am well within the rights to treat him like he did many to the thought of times. With him, please are you with me? To the thought of times with him. And when I thought of times with Kisley, when I thought of times with Kisley, go back to verse 18, let me see that. I said to you, whatever you bind on earth, meaning the church recognizing and of the thought of times with Kisley, Jesus ratifies it. Then he now goes on to verse 19, and I said to you, he says, again, I said to you, he should agree on the concerning each of you will agree concerning anything, making what is the anything in the context? The discipline, has been ratified by the verse 20, where two or three are dead in my name? I am there. I, Jesus is backing on the decisions you have made following the due process. Even if you are two or three. Does that make sense? Yes. Thank you, Kisley. Now, I want to understand the context, but look at this verse 20. He said, where two or three are dead together in my name? I am dealing your midst. Say, church is a big deal. Not your neighbor, say, church is a big deal. You cannot not have that, say church is a big deal. You see, unto him shall the gathering of his people be. So when we come before his presence, he is there. He is there. Say, he is there. And you must be able to see him in the eyes of Revelation. So if you know, church is a big deal. It will affect the way you dress to church. It will affect how you conduct yourself in church. What that means is you will be in church and be chatting with your friend because he is there. Come on. Whatever you will not do in front of Jesus, and in physically, you will do it in front of Jesus, but then, literally. So if you are in his presence, if Jesus was speaking to you and his word is being shared, you will really be chatting with your friend, would you? If Jesus cracks a joke, you will not extend the joke with your friend. Say, hey, that's out there. That they meet. Or if the joke has ended, let it end. And I'll put it like this. You will realize when you look at Acts 2.43, it says they continue. The Bible says they met from house to house. And they have a practice time. They met in Solomon's commonator, Solomon's porch. One of the things you will realize is, church was more communal for them than it placed. They attended every Sunday. Tisia, you with me. It was communal. Said church was communal. It wasn't just some place they went every Sunday to just gather together. Somewhere I attended, it was communal. It was community. It was house to house. People knew people. They gave life together. I don't want to go ahead of myself. The next thing I want to say before next week. So this is it. When you hear people say things like, I just want to church where I can go, I just want to put my foot down. I just want to put my foot down. "Gimme the lemon of the celebrity." "Haa? Lebron James, give me a musician." "Kaire? Let me use ye." You know? "If ye walk through those doors, sent decided and comes into the local church, his credibility, his. his. all the beats and glamour that follows his name stays at the door." "Stays at the door." "And then when he comes in, yeh, she'll be able to carry camera." "Sit down and serve." "Yeh! She'll knock on me, and then I'll sue my death in season." "Deep in season, deep in season, deep in season, my protoclo says ye, this way." "And then he tosses me, says, more your death off." "Now says ye, let me toss the chill. Please have your seat." "And then yeh, I'll throw you against the minister." "Haa?" "You know, I had a story of a popular half-reveit artist was in church, and then there was this girl who was sitting in front of him. And her hair was tight." "Look, I have a very interesting view on the head cover." "So, when it's more interesting, it's just not that great, isn't it? "Hek of Adonkova, say God, Amen." "We have no such culture amongst us, Amen." "So, and I think it was even cultural, but that's not that thing." "And yeh, right? No, the musician." "Now the girl had a hair cover, and my problem is not how come the child had a hair cover." "It's as soon as he sat down, and she noticed him, she removed her hair, and let it flow." "I lift my head up." "She went to his house." "You know, I did too much hair with it. Come on, she went to his house." "Now, my problem is, that is a conviction issue." "The problem is not the hair covering. It's conviction." "It's conviction." "You know, I had a popular, another popular half-reveit musician. He said he went to a church, and then the pastor saw him and said, "Brother, take the mic. Come on, say something to us." And he was writing in Mary's letter. He said, "What do I know that I want to say?" "What do I know that I want to say?" And that's exactly what I'm saying. Well, these are not where to say one another, what to say when they look at us every day. So, the. Someone who has. See, there's something to pray. Because. Especially because. I think every human being has one East. And I say East, I mean Classist, misogynist, misandrist, racists, sexist, tribalist. We have one East. And it just locks in the commas of our hearts. It locks in the commas. And you will not know many two commas. Am I preaching? Yes, sir. And we just was relationship. And I'm going there. He's coming. Don't forget the event, right? I'm simply saying that. And I was talking to somebody in this church. Nothing to mention. He's a heart-name. I'm going to have. Sorry, oh, he's. And she was telling me. Don't worry, it's not helpful. It's not helpful. I was telling her. I was talking about God's plan and all these things. And we're talking. She was talking about. No, if I'm marrying somebody, it must have money. But I said. I talked. I talked back and forth back and forth. I just left her. I said, "You can't pray right now, right? Do you?" So later, she now met me. And she was like, "Ah!" Because she was speaking with some friends on the way. And my dad, Monia, she was like, "How can Monia be the reason for your life?" Or, "Who will spend the rest of your life with somebody?" "Monia, just Monia in my head." And I said, "Wow, the young child grew." [Laughter] Also, it's another thing. You see, in church, we have to be patient with people. People grow up in different places. You must be patient. It doesn't mean you won't call out people's bad behavior. In love. Are you listening to me? In love, what people will grow. Please.
'Tel your neighbor, don't make it hard for kings to submit and serve.' When popular people sit in the car, don't go and show them, allow them. Allow them. Because they too need Jesus. They need Jesus. If I see their picture on his side, they will have problems. So remember Jesus does a marketing technique. You don't know. In the car, they will be number one and number three. That's the mindset. That's another name for mindset. Let's move on. Amen. You think you don't get to get to see your body? Where is the world? I have two more points I'm done. Or three. Listen, when we got that here, let me, even if I end here, it's okay. When we, guys, are you with me? When we got that here, the only person we esteem is the Lord Jesus. Are you with me? In the songs? Hmm. Quiet. This one may be to you. Listen to me. In the song, we will not sing what people like. Because the songs are not to them. It's to him. On to him shall the princes of this people be. The songs are not to them. It's to him. And then your worship is not to your neighbor or to any other person is to him. It's to him. So there is nothing that is supposed to stand as an idol. Not Steve. It's place is holds. It's called. Let me wrap up. I'm going to sit down. Not our steath. Not our. Not the friend we brought to church. You know, I think when you can sit beside you, you want to be composed. Not the person that is sitting beside us, this celebrity thing. Not the morning we have. Not the esteem we have. Everything we have stays at the door. Because I am something in the world, but I'm here amongst my family in him. So because I'm here amongst my family, I'm here to serve and be served. I'm going to be the intentionality that none of us are self-sufficient. Especially in him. The man of God said something so profound is that God made the local assembly to be self-sufficient. Me mean with everybody that joins, the person has something and other person does know how, that the other person needs. So first I have to give to romance, to have gifts, efficiency for gifts. We have them by God's hand. Thank you Jesus. So when you refresh, go in, tell the pastor from the pastor to 17. You must see yourself as an integral part of the work. Every joint must supply. I'm going to talk about why I said this next week. When we go into the discipleship on paper, every joint must supply. The local assembly is a subset of the body of Christ. So one of the things you must realize is, any local assembly that basically puts it to you that the only ones getting it right, good news. You join the cult. Amen. So I have other brothers. I may disagree with them on some things. They may be innocently wrong on some things but they are still my brothers. They are still my brothers. And finally I will end with this one in our TikTok world. Commitmentary local assembly is not called easy. It's your neighbor commitment to a local assembly. It's not called easy. Giving an honor in the local assembly is not called easy because you hear people say, especially on TikTok, every church is a cult. To somebody on TikTok, every church is a cult. On TikTok, every church is a cult. It's a cult to somebody. And then they say things like, oh, you know, the lady was talking about the pro values of the church and she was like, love, she was like, oh, that's guy. And they said sacrifice. She said, what the mean by this sacrifice? I'm like, what do you mean what the mean? I remember. I'm going to end with this. See, our beauty is in our difference. We cannot influence the world looking like the world. We cannot influence the world being like the world. Our beauty is in our difference. You know, there's a story I heard of some people that were coming to church. They haven't gone to church in a long time. So they finally went to church and then they were expecting something different. They didn't know what to expect but what they meant was not what they expected. They went on East and they said they felt like you were a concert. They felt like you were a concert. And when I felt more like that's that church because they knew that when they were going to church, what they were expecting was reverence, something different. It's not because fast-paced songs are wrong but the truth is you can tell when they are reverting the air. You can't. You can't. I tell when the service is directed forward rather than Godward. And when I say forward, I mean to the people in front of them rather than Godward. The songs are great. There are some songs that we can dance to. And there's a part of worship that is playing before the Lord. But let's not forget that it is supposed to be true Him even if it is before Him. Have you been blessed? Yes, I have. Yes. All right. Thank you for listening. We trust you are blessed by the teaching of God's Word. For more information, visit nimonestries.org. Thank you.

Summary:
FAQs
The church is the people called by God after Jesus died and rose again, as seen in Acts 2. It is a family, not a lone individual, where believers gather for teaching, fellowship, and growth.
Discipleship is crucial because Jesus commanded His apostles to make disciples and teach them. The early church, as in Acts 2:42, continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer.
The Gospels were written within 30-60 years after Jesus' resurrection, which is close to the events compared to other historical documents. Eyewitness testimony, including 500 people who saw Jesus risen (1 Corinthians 15), and the apostles' willingness to die for what they saw, support their reliability.
Hebrews 10:24-25 instructs believers not to forsake assembling together, but to exhort one another, especially as the day of Christ's return approaches. Meeting together encourages growth and accountability.
Expect growth in God's Word, genuine relationships with fellow believers, accountability to spur you to good works, and opportunities to serve and be served by the saints.
While being a believer gives an edge in fighting trauma, it doesn't prevent it. Love is strength, not weakness, and the church provides a family where you can heal through relationships and accountability, despite past hurts.
