The hosts reflect on a busy, event-filled week, including attending the I Heart Radio Music Awards and a significant conversation with Elizabeth Mark in Utah. They share a humorous anecdote from a spray tan where their children became intensely focused, leading to a lighthearted moment of vulnerability. The episode highlights their DIY habits, like doing makeup and hair for their wedding, and underscores their appreciation for self-care routines. A major theme is critiquing overhyped products—such as vibration plates, Oreo cookies, and air wraps—emphasizing questionable claims and poor value. They also share personal flops, including allergic reactions to natural deodorants and disappointment with the air wrap’s performance. On the positive side, they praise Quince for its high-quality, sustainable clothing, especially during pregnancy and postpartum. Favorite beauty products include a reapplication-friendly tinted sunscreen and a dermatologist-recommended double-cleansing face wash. The hosts also spotlight the Molecule 02 fragrance as a rare, clean musky scent they deeply love, and express loyalty to affordable, non-irritating perfumes like Dime Seven Summers. - You're seeing those plates, we're at the girl's denim that just goes, "Oh, you need to do it while you're like brushing your teeth." - It's five rates and shakes your whole body. - This is a sunscreen you can't mess up for that face. - That's cool. - I love this because I need to reapply a face sunscreen, but if I-- - I got a map. - I have to disagree with Oreos. - When I eat them, the other sleeve is gone. - That's the one you chose to disagree on. (laughing) - If it's not double stuff, get out. - Oh, we brought a show and tell. - Is that a bottom gold? (laughing) - That was such a dumb joke. - We're never gonna finish this. (upbeat music) - Welcome back to Always Here. - We're your host, Abby Howard. - And Abby Howard. - It's good to be back. - Oh, baby. It feels like it's been a long time. - And a lot has happened. - A lot has happened. - We both had kind of busy weeks, as always, I feel like. - Yeah, you had a very busy week, you and Matt, little jet-setters, little Hollywood celebrity. I literally told Matt at the end of that day, I was like, okay, so we went to, I guess I'll explain. - Yeah. - Back, it was so fun. - We went to the I Heart Radio Music Awards. - So cool. - In LA, and we were brought out by Fox, which was really cool. So we got to do like a lot tour of like, where they filmed the sound of music. - And like that was filmed in Austria, was it not? - Maybe some scenes were, but like a lot of the, like iconic scenes were in the Fox lot. And I mean, they were currently filming the new Baywatch. So we got to see like all the sets for, which was really cool. And we like got to talk to like their casting directors. It was a really cool experience, 'cause they don't actually do lot tours at Fox, like they do them at like Universal Studios and some of the other major production places. - Oh, I know exactly. - It was cool to just kind of see like behind the scenes things. - Yeah. - And then to go to the event was really cool, but in preparation, it was a funny story. - I already told you this on Sunday, but I got a spray tan to go to the event. And I, you know, two in a row. Wow. - Three, a couple of weeks. - Hi, she's a villain. - No, no, I'm gone again. But I had to take the boys, I remember telling him, I was like, okay, now the boys have to go with me to the spray tan. And so I set them up on the chair in there, which I wanted them to be in the same room because I was like, I don't know this space. Like they can't just be in the lobby. - Right. - Like there was other people out there, but I was like, no, they can be with me. And so I set them up like in a chair, like to the side. Like so, they're like 180 degrees from me. And I had a show on for them. And they each had their own bag of veggie straws. As soon as that machine turns on it, actually as soon as I started taking off my clothes, I was like, just bottle-negged. - They're crazy. - They're completely turned in there. Just went silent and they're eating veggie straws, watching me and it was like a full-on show. And then they didn't say anything. I put my clothes back on. It's quick. Like it was like 10 minutes max that were in there. Get back in the car. There's like kinda quiet. And then, which I'm not like, they see me like go to the bathroom. And they see me like these things. But it just felt like a new, I mean, I felt vulnerable. I feel like there's like a naked in this room. - This is weird. - What is this loud machine? - Right. - Why is she turning brown? And Griffin literally said to me in the car after like a prolonged silence. He goes, "Hey, Mom, what color's your butt?" (laughing) - It's been a appropriate question. - I was like, right now it's brown. (laughing) I think that he was probably actually so confused. - Oh, what was happening? - How are you changing colors, Mom? - I was like, you know, this is one of those things where when they bring it up, we'll talk about it. But I think at this point, I was like, it's right, right now it's probably brown. - Yeah. - He's like, okay. (laughing) - That's me in a couple hours after I start. (laughing) - It was really funny. - So funny. - I got to get all dressed up, which was fun. - It was so beautiful. - Thank you. - So beautiful. - It was like a hair and makeup. - Yeah, I did. I feel like my hair looked kind of woo. - Oh, I thought you looked good. - You look good too. - Thanks guys, I did my own hair and makeup 'cause I don't know, I don't know that special. - But I am actually, I didn't even do get my makeup done for my wedding. I did it myself. - I remember that. - Yeah. - I remember I came back to the room and you guys were all getting ready and it was so sweet. - I actually did my mom's makeup and my grandma's makeup and my friends makeup my wedding day. - Yeah. - You're good at makeup. - That's fun. - Thank you. - I didn't do anything fancy. So I was like, I'll just do it real quick. - I honestly think if you're good at makeup, I mean, you were a dancer and I feel like dancers, you and Addy both, you learn how to do makeup. And then you just, you get used to what happens. - And hair is like, yeah, so you guys have skills. - Thank you. - I didn't do anything super special, but it was really fun. They put us in a really nice hotel and which was great for the fact that it was like a solo trip. - On pelvic rest. (laughing) - Yeah, I know, so that was good for that. - Terrible. - Oh my goodness, you're just laying there. - I just got my candle out. (laughing) - I guess we could go to bed. - We ordered room service and everything was so sad. (laughing) - Anyway, it was really sweet. Then we made a quick trip to Utah for really special conversation on unplanned that I have been looking forward to for such a long time. - I can't wait to hear it. - It was with Elizabeth Mark. So I don't know when it's coming out in relation to this episode, but it's actually gonna be out before this episode. - Okay, so maybe you guys can just go listen to it. - That was a whirlwind travel experience. Get back home and you're back to reality. Bed time, or baths, bedtime. Get up the next morning, you know? - That's also the beauty of motherhood. - You know, it like-- - Right back into it. - Yeah, you get right back into it. - I kinda like it. - Oh, it's great. - I don't know, you come back, you rest it, and then you're like, oh, the kids are just, it's like, you're jumping back in. What am I trying to say? - You never skip a beat. - You never stopped, like, you know what I mean? Kids are just consistent. - They are consistent. - And it's so sweet. - It is sweet. How was your week? - It was good. We went to MLB a game last night, the time of acts first Tigers. We have a friend that plays on the Tigers, so our whole Bible City group went to, they sent us tickets and we all went, which was really fun. You know what, it was a little irresponsible to bring such a small baby. - Why? - It's outside. - No, I don't regret it at all, but it was really loud. - It was really loud in the game. - You had phones, you could have brought them home. - No, I didn't even think about it. - Oh, I wouldn't have thought about it either. - We were young when she was two and a half weeks old. - Where'd you sit? - We were in the upper deck section. - Okay, so that was a quiet. - Those were the quiet. - 'Cause we took CJ, my sister and my brother-in-law took CJ when he was like 18 months old and we were up. So it wasn't that loud. So I just didn't think about it. And our seats were low. Like we were down. - It was really loud. - It was super loud. - I thought about that. - And she was okay with it, but I just felt like bad. But it was super fun. And we were up really late last night. We didn't get home after 10. - Perfect. - But it was good. Yeah, we got to go on the field after. - That's so cool. - And yes, he did got to go out there. And he thought it was awesome. - Oh, that's so fun. - Yeah, it was really fun. - So that was great. And I don't remember the weekend. - I feel like CJ's gonna be a baseball guy. I could see him being a baseball guy. - I think so too. Both of his grandparents love baseball. Caleb loves baseball. So I just feel like it's kind of ingrained in. - Cute. - I think it's kind of the same for your boys too. Your dad loves baseball. - Yeah, maybe they will. - Yeah. - I can't picture it right now. - I honestly can't picture anything. I'm like, see, just they're gonna grow up and just love trains. - I'm just a terrified of the pain. - I'm just putting a bat in there. - Don't literally. - I'm so scared. - I'm like, no, we're not gonna know. - You can't be trusted. - No. - And just flying baseballs around the house. I'm like, I don't know about that. - I asked what was going to work away there. - To playing and he said soccer. - Yeah. - I wouldn't have thought about one, but. - Little brother, he's like soccer. - It's the cutest thing ever. - I remember. - Me too. - Me too. - Cute. - Actually, when I was walking out of the grocery store one evening last week, this guy was like super nice to our kids in the grocery store. He was just a sweet guy. He was a grandpa. And then he's like, come with me to my car. And I was like, okay, we're not supposed to do that. - Sure. - That was out of town. And then I was supposed to go to the grocery store. I was like, this is bad. - My mom was with me. So I was like, this is fine. - Yeah. - And he had his trunk a bunch of like game balls that I don't know what he has some position with baseball. And he gave each of my kids full on heavy baseball, which they love. - That's so sweet. - But I'm also like someone's gonna get black. - Don't follow people to their cars. - Oh my gosh. - It's one of those moments where you're in it and you're like, this could have been a bad idea. - I had a question that I just kind of looked to my mom and she was like, oh, your mom was with you. - Yeah, she was like, okay, your power numbers. - It was dark. So that's why I fell a little bit more on me. - Oh my gosh, I've got this story. - Yeah, he was a smart guy. - He keeps going. - He kept talking to us all throughout the grocery store and was like, sweet, but. - Great. - Everything turned out. - Everything turned out great. - And they got free baseball. - Beware Beaver and stay alive, that's right. But my hope that this is great that it was a busy week. My hope is that I have high energy recently. - Good. - Yeah, to the turn. - My energy feels like really high. Honestly, I'm like, I get up in the morning like, yeah, I will go five, 30 this morning and one. - Well, how you really do? - Take it on my walks, yeah. - I was so the opposite. I couldn't leave the house today. I told you. - I had a lot going on. - I know. I was just one of those days where I looked at my children and I looked at myself with them and I was like, we're not leaving the house today. There's just no way. - There's no way. - There's no way. - And I fell deep shame about it. - Don't. - That's what you're not supposed to do. - I think there's Bible study. It's like, don't feel shame. And I'm like, I feel shame. - No. - It's good. - No, we were just making sure you were safe. - Yeah, I know. - 'Cause you're usually late. - So I told everyone not to be concerned. - To be concerned, she always gets her 30 minutes late. - I'm always late and then you're always later than me. I know. (laughing) - You're a baby. - And so. - She's not that young anymore. (laughing) - I'm like out of the range. And I'm like, the newborn, it's like, girl. - 'Cause my child is your nursing. I told Kale, but. I always miss Burn Workouts, or I always miss the world, but he goes, "How have you not made an adjustment?" Like, I was like, "I don't actually know." I'm just accepted, and he's like, "You should adjust." (laughing) But every day, every day, I'm just like to the same things. He's like, "How are you living your life like this?" - That is actually such a great thing to think about. - Yeah, he's like, "How have you just not made a change?" (laughing) Okay, ouch. I'm like, you know, he said it like light-hearted, and then it kind of stuck with me. And I'm like, "That was not the day." (laughing) - That's such an interesting thing too. Like, you guys both work out too at Burn. I leave the house at A15 every single day. Like, that is the time I leave the house, and I get there putting it back. - I have to leave before that. - But do you, you don't leave it like, that exact time every day? - No. - Usually, Augie poops his pants right around that time. - That happens every day. I'm like, "Okay, loading up, blow up." - I'm like, "This is a change diapers in my own garage." - Okay. - And I'm like, "Now is the time." - You're just standing there with your arms crossed just waiting. - Damn, like, we're not going through it, but-- - I literally see him. I can tell, you know, I'm mom knows. - Yeah, they haven't. - I was like, "Are you doing it right now?" I was like, "No." And I'm like, "Get on your back." - Of course you are, because you have to be right. - Exactly. - No, I'm like-- - Of course you are, 'cause we were on time. (laughing) - Anyway, I feel like I have high energy. What was your hope? - My hope is that. - Sometimes it's like that. No, I have a lot of hope. I just try to, I honestly can't think past this hour. (laughing) - Your hair. Your hair's different. - Oh my God! - Oh my God! - I didn't even think you. - You look gorgeous. - You know what, this is funny. I chopped a lot off. Thank you for saying it look good. (laughing) - This is a goofy episode so far. - Sorry, I'm out of hands. - I haven't talked to people until this moment. (laughing) - You haven't talked to the adult yet, too. - I mean, my mom is here, but I wasn't really talking. She was talking to me and I was like, nice. (laughing) I need to apologize. Okay, I don't know what came out for me when I went in to get my hair cut. I was like, I want to cut it short. She was like, how short are we talking? And she kind of put her hands where and I said, shorter. And then there, and she was like, I was like, shorter. She was like, okay, well maybe let's just do like a quick, you know, a rough chop and then we'll go back and see, and fix it up. And I don't know what came out for me. I was just very daring and I just kept telling, I was like, challenging her like, shorter, shorter. So the point where she was like, hey, it's not gonna look good. Like, you're here, it's so thick. And I need a texture and a thinker for that advice because I'm trying to style it myself. I was like, go above the shoulder, go to the chin. I was like, good and crazy, and she goes, hey, you know what? That's not gonna look good on you. And I was like, I appreciate that. (laughing) They had to shut it down. But it just came over me, I just kept challenging. - I love that about hair dressers though. I feel like they are honest. Like they are very-- - They have to be. - Yeah, 'cause it's a pretty long term thing. - And if we don't like it, we go back to them and they fix it for free, you know? So it's like, they don't really want that. - They're like, I don't wanna see you again. - Yeah, I don't wanna see you again. - We just never come back for a long time. - No, it looks great, the mom chop. - Yeah, it was time. - How much did you get caught up? - I think my hair was like, to my nips. - Nips? (laughing) - Yep. - Okay, great. - Yeah. - I don't know what, I'm not gonna. - Come on, on that. - Seven inches, six inches? - My heart, I guess, I don't know. I feel like I've cycled through this one all the time. Probably like every four to six weeks where I just feel like I'm not productive. And I'm just like, every day, I'm just like, didn't get done what I wanted to done and then I just beat myself up and then I'm like, okay, well. - Yeah. Try again tomorrow, yeah. - Literally. - That's just one of those things. - I would say my heart is the same. - Just like, yeah. I'm like, I exhausted myself today. What do I have to show for it? - I know. I looked at my floors. This is one of the things that was really bothering me today. I just felt like our house was such a wreck. I looked around and I was like, if food falls on the ground, it's not getting near anyone's mouth. Like, normally our house is clean enough to where if something falls on the floor, I don't blink and I. Our floors were so gross. There was no chance. Like, I wasn't gonna sit on the floor. It was just so gross. Like, our house was dirty. And I just was like, this is not, no, I feel sick to my son. I can't live like this. No, I just, I feel like I had one too many days where I felt like I was just like, hitting roadblocks. Like, so I couldn't check something off of my list and I was spinning my wheels. - Yeah. - That's hard. - Well, you know what, this is a new day. - Today's a new, today's a new day. - On the other side, I'd say, I feel like you've done everything. Everything I've asked of you. You've done for me. - Really? - Yeah. - So, I feel like every time I'm like (groans) and then I just start, I'm like, a frustrated with myself, then I'm like, I just gotta go get mad at Matt right now. - Matt, get us done. - I just need some of the blame. - Yeah, the following, I was like, I feel like I've just been pointing out a lot of your flaws, because I'm, I am feeling floating myself right now. - Right, right, right. - He goes, thank you for apologizing. (laughing) - Yesterday, Gil, you were like- - You were like- - No, you were just response. 'Cause it feels like, it feels like shaky ground. Like, when I'm like, gonna put myself out there 'cause I could lash back really thick, yes. 'Cause I'm feeling like, I'm doing this. - Yeah. - Doing this, but then if he doesn't respond right, it's really dangerous. So, he's, I feel like he's just like, so, if he was like quiet for a second, he goes, hey, thanks for saying that. - I don't know. - That's a good response. - Come on, go. (laughing) - Yesterday, I was feeling so- - I had a great day, like in the morning, went to the gym, my mom and I went shopping. Like, it was just a really fun morning. Went to buried, divine, got us eyeballs. And then the last, like, four hours of the day, Kilb, I said, come home at five so we can leave for the game. And then it was just a crazy four hours and Kilb got home 30 minutes late from work. And I was like, called and I said, where are you? And he said, I'm so sorry I'm coming. And then when he got home, I was just feeling irritated. And he was like, I'm so sorry. And then I looked at him and I was just like, I, there's no reason that I should be irritated. I went shopping today, I went to the gym, I had a fun girls morning. And just one hour of my day was stressful. And I'm like, taking it out on you. - Today was it, I actually don't want you to apologize. (laughing) - I was like, this is a pride thing. (laughing) It's a day of a surprise. - I actually had a really easy day. - I like to bet, but you're saying to me the other day 'cause I'm very volatile sometimes. And sometimes after it's third diapers away, they just end up where they end up. - Yeah. - Like very, very kindly came up and said, thank you, you've done so much today like doing the dishes and doing like cleaning up the house. Like I really noticed that just like, can we be better about throwing the diapers away? - Was it 'cause would your dogs eat them? - No. - They don't eat them anymore. He was just, he just- - I just got a problem. - He just hates them. He just hates them out. - I see no problem. - I exploded on him. I'm like, he's like, every time and then we debrief afterwards and he's like, how was I supposed to present that any nicer? I'm like, you're just don't present it. You just don't say anything. - I honestly, there's so many. - There's so many. - He's like, really? - He knows when he's like, I'm like, just don't say it then. (laughing) - And you knew. - You knew it might be an issue. - He's like, got it. So, can't say anything. (laughing) - Remember, those other 15 diapers I did throw away? Like, this is what? - I know. - Dang. - So funny. - I fall on to that territory. - That's real life, that's real life. - Disgusting. - Well, that was good. Hopefully, we can all relate to that. (laughing) But really, everyone can relate. - Everybody, exciting news. It's already gone live, the live event. I don't actually know if by the time you're hearing this, if there are any slots available, but if there are, check that link and snag your spot because they are limited. And, I mean, I don't want to, to our own horns, but I'm expecting it's full at this point. - But, might as well give it a shot. - It was full last time. That's why I thought you can. - And we're excited to see you if you're signed up. - So excited. - This will be really fun. We're doing a little workout, a little hangout afterwards, and it's gonna be really fun. - So fun. I cannot wait. - It's gonna be, it's tomorrow. - Yeah, it's tomorrow. - Yeah. - A little heck heck. - Heck girl. - Are you gonna get your trainer? - I can't work out, so what am I gonna do? - You just walk around the room. - I'll start doing my laps with my headphones on. - You're actually doing building laps. - You guys, I keep seeing the same neighbors every time 'cause I also do like two laps. - Uh-huh. - Hello? - It's me again. - You never know when you're gonna find me. I got rained on this morning on my walk. - Oh, I love that. - I think something's really nice. - It was dark though, so. - Oh, my gosh, I'd be five, three in the morning. - Yeah. - Oh my gosh. (laughs) - I gotta do what you gotta do. But it takes a long time, and I can't take my kids with me. - It's true, so, well, it's a good idea. - I'm excited for today's episode. - I'm very excited. I was actually getting, like, a lot of these things that I'm brought up, I'm like passionate about. I'm like, oh, I can talk forever about this. - Oh my gosh, I can't wait. - Well, that's actually, let's wrap it up. - This idea was one of our original ideas. We're doing an Abby's Favorites episode. - Think of us as Oprah. Think of us as YouTubers. - Yes. - Remember when YouTubers used to do monthly favorites videos? - Yes. - I loved that. That's actually my most YouTube era. I went back with this episode just to kind of like, look at, I just went through some of the thumbnails of the ones I watched. - Yeah. - And I was like, oh my gosh, all these videos are like nine to 12 years ago. - Yes. - I used to watch them every month. - Yes. - Some of those OG beauty guru creators, Jacqueline Hill, I lived off her videos. - When everyone was talking about the naked palettes. - Oh. - I still have my naked eyes. (laughs) - But everyone's got it. - Sure legs. - I have the naked too. - I never got the two. It was cool tone, so. - Oh, I didn't know my tones at all. (laughs) - I just got what I got. - I know. - Thank you, Quince, for sponsoring today's episode. - I have been doing a little wardrobe reset recently. Quince is always a go-to for me. Yes Okay, this one says Stanley cups, uh, you know, I would agree only because I I love the 40 ounce traveler I don't think that's ever hyped, but it's a lid right spilling. There's just better options now Gracie said baby swaddles Mm-hmm. I that moral reflex. What are you doing talking about? Yeah Are your kids just chill? I don't know. They have these like basic phones And I was like for a while that sounded good, but I was like I would have to really adjust like Do I get a map at that point like? Physical map. How do I find phone numbers for like anything right card? It just feels like it would be way more complicated to get rid of it now. I do too. Yeah apples in a wonderful job Jalen, oh, I'm sorry, I'm reading them. No, I like it. You read it Where we at? Okay, so I'm like I know you guys will disagree Crumble cookies. I can agree that yet. Are you yeah, I'm sorry professional You want a cookie for being so smart if cookies like we do Not a crumble cookie Um, I really want to try this week's lineup, but doesn't look like I'm gonna make my way there, but I mean I can see that they're I mean, there's a lot of hype. I love a cookie though vibration plates I'm sorry. This is a scam. This is just a scam. Did you see those plates? We're at the girl's stand. I'm like just go What you know, I'm talking about yeah, yeah, and they're like it's like lymphatic drainage and it's like doing 50 Most like submitted thing was a vibration Big thing right now. That's on the same. This is on part of me with the red light therapy masks. I'm sorry ladies Where are these wait what as a vibration plate like you stand on this plate your house It looks like a scale like a weight scale Yeah, yeah, yeah, and you would just do it while you're like brushing your teeth and it's by right and shakes your whole body And people are like it's really good for your circulation. I'm like just stretch You know any more accumulation yet. I don't know what the benefits of that are. I don't know I'm just assuming some of these claims, but I agree Yeah, that doesn't sound right Okay, this next one. Oh, she's kind of saw she put a list claw clips or dry shampoo I have to disagree on Oreos Oreos. I never buy or eat buy them, but when I eat them, yeah, the sleeve is gone There's so good. That's the one you chose to disagree on I will say with Oreos you can't get a knock off Oreo Get out I wanted the golden ones and she he walks over and start talking to Abby. She goes Can you see the golden Oreo? I can smell it on it No, I had a genius genius pregnancy craving idea. I was like golden Oreos in vanilla milkshake with malt powder It was delicious. That doesn't really good But I don't think anything with a cookie blended in is bad. Okay, wait claw clips and dry shampoo. No, those are those are pretty Great. Katie says clean simple eats clear protein girl I love their regular protein powder. I can't go with the clear. Really? strongly disagree Some flavors do taste more stevia than others So I think it depends I think it's flavor dependent. So I don't fully disagree. I mean have you tried the sour watermelon? The sour one one's so good. I just got the pink starburst one. It's great. That one's the second best They do make a fruit punch one. I love I know wait. I didn't like their sodas the clear protein. Yeah Those are different. Those aren't those have a I mean, I like them, but they definitely don't have they have a different flavor different aftertaste Yeah, but the powder is amazing. Oh, I disagree Jordan. This next one is the duna car seat slash stroller That thing is the love of my life. I don't know how to have a baby without it. I mean, what do you mean you just keep pumpkin? Are you carrying a pumpkin around? No, is that wheels in the back of your trunk? How does that work? No, no, no, no, no about that. I don't know about that People I have a duna too. Yeah, so I'm like I don't I don't know how you look. I don't know how you live without it But also are these people who say it's overrated? Have they had one true? Oh, do they have the nuna? The people are like to do A lot of people spend time, but the nuna is like double the price. No, it doesn't do the same thing that a duna does No, you have to carry the pumpkin and transform. I do understand it is heavy, but what you do you just take kid out of it whenever you need You just have to get stronger as your baby gets bigger exactly Go look at Abby's video from a really long time ago when you were like this is why I work out literally I got to tote my 18 month old huge baby in a duna He was in that duna a long time People are like, oh I can't get out of your rid of the duna. They grew out of it. I might they did not run it This guy said bottle warmers. It baby specific laundry detergent. I would agree with this I've never had a bottle warmer, but I don't see it not having a bottle warmer. I don't get it I bottle warm every you guys are injured with warming bottles. Yeah, I don't have one But I'm not like a post. Do you just take cold milk out of the fridge if you're giving them a bottle? No, I just Take the bag and I run under smoke and hot water in the sink. Yeah, I don't want to sit there I want to put it in the bottle warmer and walk away and then it really doesn't take long. I do have to sit my head to sit there It takes longer to do the bottle warmer from totally honest with you and also once I'm I saw you guys I think Blake had like boils water on the stove this day and a pot. Well, it's because we pack it in a bottle That's why we do it like that, but it is harder if it's in a bottle when it's in a bag. It's not We always pack it in like if you were running a bottle under the sink That would never work probably but the bag it warms up really quick. Quick isn't a bottle warmer I would agree maybe we'll try that next time But no, I was gonna say I do want to get a bottle warmer next time. Okay, it's I think it's You guys only use the water on the stove because it's in a bottle. Do you use glass bottles? No, I use plastic bottles, but he does it. We don't have a bottle warmer here, right? So at home we do have a bottle and we have a portable bottle warmer now I'm confused why you guys had the boiling pop that makes sense because it's in the bottle Blake left the pot of water on my stove so many times that and also one of the time running Like he left it like he left the stove on all day. I've done that before Yeah, I've done that before. We've gas. It's a little concerned Maybe you're just a big laundry detergent though. Um, I don't need that. Yeah, you just get a clean Just could have sent for being clear. Yeah, she doesn't have any reaction to me So I'm like to like if she's on my You know what I mean, but your baby's not having a reaction to your clothes being near you. Our kids did actually It's kind of a good point Addy. It's like you're washing your kids clothes and our things But you're holding your kids when you've got detergent. That's yeah I don't even think dread is good for Like the famous brand draft. Uh-huh. It's not even probably good. It's very fragrance. Yeah Once I run out, I'm not buying it. Yeah, I mean I like it because it reminds me of a baby. Yeah But I don't think I'm like doing something special for them Teeth widening at home literally leaves my teeth sensitive Um, yeah today actually, but I use the Luminous ones they don't leave me sensitive or the ENO Pro, but apparently dentists said those don't work. So I did ads for them. I thought they worked. - I have fake teeth, so I can't. - Yeah, okay. (laughing) Buying a house. - Everything is always breaking, and my husband have to fix it. - That's so good. - Okay, he's the kind of trip. - My husband did it for his teeth. - 25 steps, skincare routines. - Absolutely. - Your skin can only take so much. - Yeah, I don't know. That's not all soaking in. - Layers, four through 25 are saying doing nothing in the barrier. - Yeah, your barrier's broken. - Dicing, air wrap. - I don't have one, so I can't say. - I don't have one. I actually wrote this as one of my personal flops. - Oh, interesting. - I borrowed one. I borrowed them, actually, I could say like two to three times. It's actually one of the most returned products. - Interesting. I'm just really expensive, so. - It's difficult to use, there's a lot of care. - It's hard to use, but even when you do use it, it takes a while for me at least, and your hair just falls right out. - It does, okay, so I have the T3 microversion, and I like it, but I had to lower my expectations about my curls gonna look like. It's like a blowout look, or just like a movement, but I'm like, that's a lot of work for a light curl. - Just curl the ends of your hair. - I know, totally. - Feetless curls. - I agree. - I agree, I did it twice, and I was like, I'm out on this. - I don't want a headache, and I want to sleep good, and I want me to come to roll. - And I don't care, my hair looks like. - Cybertruck. - Oh. - I don't have an opinion. I feel like it's a good billboard. - I think they're hideous. - I mean, the other stupid. Here's what I think about 'em. I appreciate the innovation. - I agree. - I like that it's different. - My sons think they're cool. - Right, I'm like, you know, I like that it doesn't look like a normal car, but that's as far as my - My husband thinks they're cool. - My husband thinks they're cool, and there will be a cybertruck in a dragway. - Did you or Matt Power did? - What about your mom car? - I don't. - I'm getting a mom car stuff. (laughing) - You're like, I told you. - That'd be you're the friend of it. - I'm the vendor. - I'm like, I'm just like, I'm getting a freaking key at Carnival. - Yeah, baby. He's like, not the minivan, but the cybertruck. I was like, that feels like a dad car. - Matt's getting a truck. He drove a truck in high school, and he just misses that. - Oh, I thought it was Caleb's truck. Did they share it? The black one? - I don't know. - I feel like Caleb's taking a couple. (laughing) Probably, I probably did. Okay, I mentioned already on the pod, but red light therapy, love from Ireland, Maria. (laughing) - I'm asked why are we wearing them to our workouts? - I feel like they are worn-- - You're supposed to wear it for like 10 minutes. - You're like, where are they? - They're performing ours. - I don't know, it's performative, like. - I don't know, 'cause it kinda feels like it's gonna overstimulate me, like the stick around my face. - I actually really liked them. - Really? - And I used the ones, they were just from Amazon, it was Terez and honor was the brand, and I wore them every morning for a month, and I noticed a huge difference in my under eyes. - Right. - Yeah, so, and those weren't that expensive. - But, yeah, you were wearing-- - Maybe just for the extended wear. - I saw them, they'd be over-creator wearing them, and she started in the morning, and then went and got her hair done, and she had them on the entire, like, hair coloring, everything, like the whole day. - And they become the new special stickers. - There are the pimple patches, like the first customer. - But they don't even, why? They don't last that long. Unless you're like replacing them, maybe she's replacing them. - No, no. - No. (laughing) Mrs. Cammy Steer has a controversial look. - That's spicy, Mrs. Cammy. - She said condoms. (laughing) She said, I mean, when you are married, they are just the most horrible thing. - I agree. - I'm team, team that. I'm team condom. Listen, I'm not trying to have a baby, and I'm not doing the other stuff. - Yeah. - So, kills. - There's other ways. - Yeah. - Hocus, what? No, we love our hocus, that's on my list. (laughing) - I love the color and feel, but they were not durable, and barely lasted me three months. - Oh, you know what, mine lasts about, I would say if I wear mine a lot, they last like six, eight months. - They're not like a full year long shoe. - Yeah, but that's like any running shoe. - They're also meant for running only. Like, you're not supposed to wear them all the time. - So, if you're a nurse or something, I feel like if you're like, you're putting your pound in the pavement on those, I could see you running through them quickly. - But what else are you gonna wear? - No, I'm saying they should, but I could see them out lasting as long if you're using them that often. Like, I only wear mine on walks and runs. - This next one actually creates a reaction to me. - Kindles? - Mary. (laughing) - I'm sorry, we're disagreeing on that. - Do you have one? - I was like, I'm gonna take one, and I'm gonna take one. - Did you get one? - I was rage-baiting us. - Why are you rage-baiting me? - I love kennels. - Why is a doctor pepper's low-key gross? - Add love's doctor pepper. - Can I talk pepper zero every day? - It's so funny. I don't like doctor pepper personally, but. - I don't like Coke, and I used to always, my maiden name is pronounced Coke, and I was like, it's so, I should like Coke. Like, I literally took that first. I should be liking it. - That's one thing you were stuck on. - I should never be a Coke, that's why. - Yeah. - I was meant to be a bit as well. - Addie, I never said your last name for a long time, 'cause I was like, it's a catch. - There's a catch. - I've said it a lot. If K-O-C-H spelled Coke. Blake tells me it's pronounced Coke. I'm like, that is not how I'm it. I still tell you how my last name is pronounced. - It's like, you're actually wrong. - Do you any said e-bikes? Maybe? - Maybe. - I kind of agree. I was like, I want my kids to pedal their own bike, but then I realized I'd be left behind. I know. - I would say that all the time. Like, poor C-T is gonna be left in the dust by these kids. (laughing) - Lululemon leggings, 100% disagree. - Correct. - Next. - I kind of agree, but I'd say private on that one. - Well, I'll talk about this later. - Addie, drink the potion. - Because she worked there. (laughing) - Don't steal one of my stories for later. - Ladies. - Okay. - Okay, now let's go into our personal flops. We already said my first one, which was the air wrap. - I can't. - I used it, yeah, I used it a couple times with friends 'cause I was seriously going to buy one. This wasn't the time where you couldn't even buy one 'cause they were being bought all the time, but turns out most of those ended up returned. I, there was like a crazy high return rate. I don't know what it was, but I think it's because it is a disappointing product and I don't think people would have been as disappointed by the results if it wasn't like $500. - Yeah, it's very expensive. - Yeah, so I understand. That's a price point for a premium price. - Premium price for a whatever price. - It's not a great return. Okay, my first one is, sorry, I mean, it's, well, it's natural deodorant, but it's specifically, well, it's all of them. Okay, I've tried all of them. I've tried them all. - You have weird pits, though. - I know, that's why. Every single one I get an allergic reaction to and this is a bad story. You ready for this one? I did an ad for wild deodorant, what did you say? I'm coming clean. - I love wild. - But I actually stand by it because I emailed them, I said, hey, I actually have a lot of allergic reactions to natural deodorant, so I'm probably gonna pass. I'm like, well, we have a sensitive line. So they sent me the sensitive line, I used it, and I did not break out. So I put the refill in and I was using it. I did my ad, it was great. I ran through the sensitive one and I put in the next sensitive one. Yeah, I immediately, my armpits blew up. - You need to figure out all of these. - No one ever since then, I haven't been able to use their deodorants. But it was there, I'm a primary purer, Tom's, love Beauty Planet. I mean, I've tried like- - I feel like you're not alone. I feel like a lot of people dislike natural deodorants, but here's my argument. I feel like, yours is different 'cause you're having an allergic reaction. You can't really like say- - I don't know what it is. - But your armpits do need an adjustment period. If you're used to anti-perspirance, for example- - Ooh. - Like, you have to, like- - You're gonna sweat. - You're gonna sweat for a while. Your body will regulate and then same with odor, like it will, there's a period of time. - Yeah, I agree. - But then I feel like you also, your body will adjust and I think it's kind of worth it. - Yeah. - Yeah, I just can't. - I'll just tolerate it. - I just can't tolerate it. - Yeah. - Well, you're not alone on that one. - Yep. - I do love wild deodorant. Okay, I have to preface this one by saying, I love supergoop sunscreen. I have it in my purse right now. I love it. I love it. What I'm not sold on and was actually kind of disappointed by it was their tinted sunscreen. - Oh, interesting. - Yeah. They don't, you rub it in and disappears. It doesn't do anything for the tinting aspect. It doesn't do anything. So don't buy it for that reason. If you're hoping to have like a little coverage, a little color, it doesn't do it. - Can I actually say, I don't understand titted sunscreens at all. I have some and I'm like, what do you mean I'm gonna put this tinted sunscreen on and then put makeup on on top of it and then do I reapply? - No, I think the point is to know what? Right, I'm confused. - No, I think the point is just if you're not gonna wear makeup, you could wear that. Like if you're not wearing makeup, like at the pool and you want like a little glow. - Oh, okay, I would misunderstood the product. I don't think you're supposed to put makeup on top of it. Okay, so yeah, I was doing it wrong. Okay, I'm good. - You put sunscreen on and then makeup and then sunscreen on top of it again. - Well, I was like a tinted, like a cream for my face. - Like that was like a foundation. - Yeah. - So you're not supposed to put makeup on top of it. - Okay, so you know what? - It's supposed to be your makeup. - Okay, but then my hands were tinted. It's like, you're just telling me you're going to the pool and you're wearing, you've got like tinted. - Yes, your hands. - It's not supposed to stay on your hands. - So you're outside of the pool. - No, put it on. - I just don't get it. - Put it on, put it on the more goofy. - That one, don't put it in your back. - Put that one on your kitchen. - Put it on your bathroom counter. - The tinted one. - I'm just not going to use it. - Don't do it. - No one use it, obviously, it's not for you. - Okay, my next one, I have the Wally phone case. Let me show you. - Put this up. - Don't say you don't like that. - I love my Wally phone case. I got the magnetic case because I was like, oh, I have this. Which I actually like because I take it off, I could put this on my stuff. Like my tripod. - I used to have the, it's not the Wally pop. What's it called? They just take to the back of the phone. - The Octobody. - The Octobody. - That's good. So I love my, - Oh my God, people are clicking off. They're like, this girl should not have a microphone. - Okay, the Octobody is amazing. And so I got the Wally pop, which is their magnetic version. (laughing) - That's the free. (laughing) - Yes, that was the longest we've ever. (laughing) - It was definitely more pregnant. I get the more I'm gonna weave. (laughing) - You gotta take 'em. - No, I'm not! - No, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not. (laughing) - It's definitely an explanation. - Anyway, the Wallypop sticks to nothing. It sticks to nothing. Okay, don't buy the Wallypop. - The Wallypop? (laughing) - You're getting so neat. (laughing) - I know, no one's buying, no one's buying. That's exactly it. (laughing) - No one's buying the Wallypop. (laughing) (laughing) - All these names are so similar. (laughing) - Full, full, full ears. - I'm sorry. (laughing) - Oh my gosh. - I'm not okay. - This is neat, she or I didn't know that photo was gone. (laughing) - That's why I keep calling it an Wallypop on eggs today. - I didn't know why, I didn't know why I don't give it. (laughing) - No, I'm so sorry. - I'm sorry, everybody. We can skip this one. I just don't buy the Wallypop. It doesn't stick to anything. (laughing) Just get the regular focus. (laughing) - I don't have her flops. I don't think of anything else. I feel like I'm generally pleased with my products. - Yeah, okay, the other one was the dime. I love dime as a note whole general, but their skin care doesn't work for my face. That's all. - So that's all, that's all. - Okay, let's go into our personal favorites. I feel like naturally, let's stick with the beauty category. We'll do beauty and style. Mine is, okay, I have very, very, very, oh, we brought a show and tell. We're showing telling for the people I can see. - Woo! (laughing) - That's hot. - Is that a pot of gold? (laughing) - She's so, that's so tall. - And that was such a dumb joke. - I remember that we're gonna get through it. I don't think we can cover from this. - Oh, okay. (laughing) - Josh, dang it. - All right, here we go. My favorite beauty product is the first serum concealer. If you have very dry under eyes, this is not going nowhere. It's not like a cakey, but it's very light. It doesn't get into my creases. And it's really good. (laughing) - Next. - I don't want it to get into my target. - It's a target. - You can get it from target. - Okay, skin care. - Do you have any show and tell things for your skin care? - I do. - Good old basic survey. - Oh, that's class. - You guys, but this kind, don't get the hydrating one. Get the oil control one. This one is recommended by dermatologists. Like everyone, this doesn't clog your pores. It actually gets your skin clean. - Wow. - And I have used this since I was in college. - Wow. - But I also have another one. - Yeah. - This one's a new favorite. - Oh, vacation. Their packaging is so cute. - And Abby, this is a sunscreen you can't mess up for your face. - Really? - You literally spray it on top, but I'll do it right now. - That's cool. - I love this because I need to reapply a face sunscreen, but if I-- - I got it. - I'm gonna. (laughing) - It smells really good. (laughing) But SPF 15, like if I have my face all done, then I'm like, I don't want to rub in more sunscreen on my face, but this you just spray on top. - That's a genius product. And in your hairline. - Oh, that's smart. - I always get burned on my scalp, so I always put sunscreen in my hairline, and it's literally just like white cream in my hair. That'd be perfect for that. - I love this top. - And your ears instead of hard to get? - Wow. Okay, I might have to get that. - You're really showing me that at CBS. - Okay, clutch. - My skincare product is-- - Actually, everything in anything married skincare is unbelievable. I love their instant glow serum. I love their moisturizer. I've repurchased those probably four times myself. But this is a new product that blew me away. It's the great skin, double cleanse face wash. It's a foaming, look how much I've used. It's a foaming face wash. - Ooh, I love a foaming one. - It's so good. I've actually never had a face wash. I actually took my makeup off in one go. I do this over my sink. It's really foamy. It's really light. Gets everything off. I use white towels after no marks for my makeup. I've never had that. Like it's fully off my face. My skin is clean. - Wow. - I actually learned something from watching your videos. I used to never, I used to always avoid my eyes with my cleanser because in the Neutrogena commercials growing up with the celebrities, they would always go around their eyes. - Oh. - So I would always have to take my eye makeup off separately with Vaseline. Yeah, I start using it on my eyes. It helps a lot, actually. - Wait, my videos? - What? - No, the Neutrogena ads, do you remember those? Oh yeah, your videos, when you take your makeup off with your balm and you put over your eyes. - Oh. - I was like, you could put cleanser on your eyes? - Oh yeah, I'm an old lady that likes cold cream. (laughing) So what makes it double cleansing? - It has an oil in it. - Oh, but you still wash it. - So you have to shake it before it separates. And you have to shake it up before. No, you use it once. Shake well. Apply three to four pumps. I don't know what it is to be honest, but it has, it separates. That's what I could say about it. And you have to mix it up. So it has a, whatever. It has a whatever. Next category, fragrance. For this one, I actually ran out of mine because I love it so much. And it was really sad to part with. But this is kind of niche. I don't feel like people talk about this one. But the Molecule 02 fragrance. - Oh, I don't know. I'm gonna buy another one, you guys can all smell it. But it is a fragrance that I would love to one day try to find a way to recreate. Because, and like with a slightly more feminine version, it is such a clean kind of musky scent. And it just, I like, it's so hard to find this smell. Because I feel like a lot of musky ones kind of go to like a woody scent. And I'm like, I don't, that feels a little too masculine. This one feels like clean and like musky though. And I just, I can't really describe sense very well. But this, you can get it on Amazon and I'm going to repurchase, it's a little pricey. - Ooh, I feel like you like romantic sense. - Hmm, I'm a romantic person. - I know. - Yes, I make sense. Like a little musky, if like that's kind of a romantic. - Yeah, I like rose. I feel like that's like a, like, it's kind of like, you don't hear a lot of rose-centred things anymore either. Kind of feel like an old lady for liking it. - Yeah, I like rose. - Yeah, I love that. My fragrance, I do have it for sure. I want to, I'm looking for my pot of gold. - You have pants in there? - In that pot, I brought everything. (laughing) - Okay, you can see, I need to re-stock it. It's the dime seven summers perfume. - Oh, I have that one. - I know you do. I actually got it, I came here for Griffin's gender reveal. You had the dime perfume. - Oh, it brings me back to that time of part. - Yes. - I've used it since then, since 2022. And I just keep your purchasing it. I love that it's clean, so that when I'm spraying it, I don't like CJ or Vivian aren't going to have reactions to it. It's light. I love this smell specifically. I love vanilla. It's like really warm and just, it's just a good classic smell. I think it smells good on everybody. And yeah, I just will never, not buy this. I love it. And it's like $37 or something. It's really affordable. - It's really expensive. And I actually have kind of learned why. It's that it's, what goes into them is very expensive. - I believe it. - Yeah, I know. This one you do have to re-apply often. It's not like the most long lasting scent, I will say. But it smells like-- - Oh, the molecule last even through a wash, you guys. - Wow. - Now, I don't think it's clean. - No. - But it lasts through a wash. - That's not the merit perfume, the retrospect. I love it. But it's like one spritz, it could be too much. - I love it. - And it's long lasting. - Oh, that's good. - Yeah. For fashion, I actually ordered another one and it was on my front door. - I was like, maybe I'm not seeing from the bottom. - Wow, I love that. - Let's be real. I'm not very fashionable right now. I feel like I'm just, you know, comfy, what's easy. And I've been really loving the comfort matching set. - They're so good. - Guess who I got on these as well. - Me. - Okay, you and-- - Oh, who else? - Who else? - Vow. - Oh. - Vow. - Vow's got my couple too. But like-- - That pink is cute. - You might show my undies. - Oh. - I think so. - No biggie, honestly. - Yeah, who cares? (laughing) - I got the pink one, I have the green one. But like, I'm telling you, if you're pregnant or postpartum and you want to just be able to still wear them, like, you want to feel put together? Okay, here's the truth about it. You can wear pajamas if they're completely matching. - Agreed. - And you put on a pair of shoes. - Yeah. - And some makeup. - Yeah, maybe do something. - Do want your hair or your makeup. We gotta do one of them. - I don't know if this is actually, maybe it might be marketed as a pajamas set. Oh, really, I didn't know that. I don't know. - I don't care. - I'm wearing it out. I wear it to the zoo. I wear it everywhere. - You do. - No, I love those super comfortable. They have so many colors. - Yeah. - And patterns as well. - I love it. You got me the pants set for Christmas and I love it. Oh, I also have a more dressy option. Oh, I have a more dressy option. From Quince, they have these cotton cashmere. So it must be like a blend. - Yeah. - Ribbed dresses. And I just got the, I think it's like a cocoa, like a dark brown one. - The tank top I wore. - That's the same color. - Yes. - You can get these dresses. And so if you're pregnant, it will definitely stretch. They're so comfortable. Very high quality. And how often do you see cashmere for under $100? - I know. - And it would be great for like all seasons. You can make wear it for fall, dress it up. Like with a sweater or a jacket on top. Or now, like I'm gonna wear it all summer. - Heck yeah, baby. - I think that is a great wardrobe staple. - Yeah. - I would agree. - Okay, my, well let me button them. - There. - Abby's drawers are out. (laughing) - Hold on a moment. Let me zip them. Wait, let's do a little. I guess the more I'm that special. Okay, these are the Abercrombie Curve Love loose shorts. I actually think these are the dad shorts, but I think they might be discontinuing the dad short and transferring it to the loose. I could be wrong, but both of them I have the loose and I have the dad and I'm obsessed. I need the Curve Love because I do have a small waist in big hips, like a big booty. Oh, poor you. (laughing) And they're the only ones that like really do they don't gap in the back. So they're really comfortable. They're the perfect length. I feel like they're fun to dress up or dress down and it's the perfect, this is the medium wash. I have them in medium and black. I just feel like you can dress them up or down really easily. Just a good classic. It's the first pair of denim jeans I've had. That's how I was born 10 years old. The first pair you've had? 'Cause I've just never liked the length on it. They're so hard to find. They're so hard to find and I love the length 'cause it goes past like the wide part of my thigh which I don't want them to be so short that like, I don't know, it just feels too short if it's past that. Do you know what I mean? It's the perfect length. Mm, I know, I love them. I love them a lot more. That's a really good find because I feel like denim shorts are just, I know. And they're on sale all the time. They're hard, they're so good. - I love Evercrombie, yeah. For accessories, I did my truly blessed jewels, necklace stack because I actually don't feel like I want to spend my time accessorizing. It's just not on my list of priorities on the day to day. But I love that these are permanent and they're an awesome local business. Well, they're in Scottsdale. But, and I just like think that they have really high quality materials that you can personalize. And so I have like all my kids, like little charms on this one. I love this little Pearl one. That's the Kaya Pearl Choker. And this one has all my kids' birthstones and Matt's birthstone. - Oh, which one? - My top one. - Oh yeah, yeah. - I think I've gotten a little tangled. (laughing) But I love that you have to think about it. So it has Matt Griffin and Oggie's birthstones. - Cute, so pretty. - Yeah, I really can't recommend them enough. I think that's an amazing, honestly, with May coming up, amazing Mother's Day treat for your mom, for your husband to give you. Like it's just quality, simple, beautiful pieces that will last and obsessed. - And they're a small business, so. - Yeah. - Love that. - Yeah, I love my chain bracelet from them. Or matching ones that Addy cut off for her cruise. - I cut off for my cruise, so I can get on the water slide. (laughing) - Trees in. - No, I don't know. - We gotta just have to go get new ones. - It's for the memory though. - It is for the memory. - My favorite accessory, this is a little bit of a pricey one, but it truly is my favorite now. It's my new bag. - It's the Airy Sea Coach Shoulder Bag. It's the perfect size. I have this thing stuffed because it's currently my diaper bag. But it has three pockets. Maybe we'll do it, what's in my bag in a few? - Baby pockets. - But it has two like magnetic pockets on the outside and then a zipper pocket in the middle. And it's a shoulder strap bag. So I like that things feel secure. I have a Vivi pocket, a Mommy pocket, and a CJ pocket. - Oh, yeah, I love it. Actually, it all kind of leads into mine, but it's okay. - Order. - It's such a beautiful bag. And for it to be leather, I think it's around 250, which is a good, I mean, that fits you. - Oh, I thought you were gonna say I was way more 'cause those designer bags get crazy. - I know, it's from the outlet store. They still have it. It's the Air and Shoulder Bag. It's like the perfect. - I like the color bag a lot. - Thanks, I know, I wanted a brown. - Okay, moving on to our next category. It's home and lifestyle. What's your favorite home item? - Okay, this is, this is gonna sound really bougie of me. I will say I got sent these items in our house, but I feel like every time I look at them, I'm like, those are so beautiful and so perfect. It's our curtains. They're all from two pages. They're the custom curtains. They're just pleated, they're press pleated. They stay in place. They're really thick, heavy duty, beautiful fabric. And I just like our house is small, so the touches that we can make that feel special and custom make a big impact in our house. And I just look at them in the rooms. I'm like, wow, those are so special. So if you can budget and save for them and get custom curtains, like go room by room, it like transforms your space. And we got them from two pages and I love them. - I purchased them on my own dye. - I know. - And I have the curtains in line. - And would you say it's worth it? - They're worth it for me and the fact that they were very user-friendly to order from, because I'm like, I don't know the first thing about blinds, so I needed a lot of help. And so, yes, I would definitely say that. Okay, this one is also kind of frivolous, but I said our Robo Rock. It's like electric vacuum mop. And I hate cleaning floors. Like I just, I just hate it so much. - And so we just run this thing every night. It is so smart, this little robot, it goes around our dog. Like it's like a dog turn around. Like it, like it mobs our heart. It gets up on rugs and will then switch gears and then clean the vacuum the rug. - Whoa, that's cool. - Yeah, it's pretty high tech. - How often do you have to empty it? - It empties itself. - It goes back to full-down. - What, that's so back to full-down. It's like refueling and it, like, does it, like-- - Oh my gosh, it's going home. - And then it goes back. So it does it all throughout the night. - Oh. - And to be honest, I don't know about like the changing the water, 'cause that's Matt job. - Sure, I can't even know. - That's all right, it's a blue job. - And it doesn't seem to be too time consuming, 'cause I don't really ever notice him doing it. - Yeah, okay, well that's exciting. The Robo Rock vacuum. - They have several, but that's the brand that we have. They have like a different varying degrees. - Okay, very cool. My favorite kitchen gadget is the silicone KitchenAid Bowl Enter that you gave me. That your mom got you for Christmas. She got me three, so I had you gave me one. I love this thing. - I'm so glad. - Me too. - I'm so glad it is. - That's what this is. - It goes in your stand mixer. - Yes, and it's like a cover. So if I make cookie dough, 'cause a lot of times I'll start chicken and then I'll be like, oh, I have to clean my bowl and then go make my cookie dough. Like it's just an extra step. So this thing, you can just pop out and or I'll make my cookie dough in it and then I pull this out toward my cookie dough. - I've never heard of that many times. - It has a third one, you want it? The red one? - I love it. - It's so nice. And you could put it in the dishwasher. And yeah, I don't ever, like I can keep my cookie dough in the bowl and still have my stick mixer. - And it comes with a lid. - It has a lid. Yeah, I love it. I use it all the time. When you gave it to me, I was like, I don't know if I use that. I use it weekly. - I'm so glad to hear it. - Yeah, great. Lori, thank you Lori for your find. - My kitchen gadget is in my hard boiled egg maker. I mean, I can't stop with that thing. I use it every single morning. I'm eating three hard boiled eggs. Did it today? Did it yesterday? I'm doing it tomorrow. I have to think that this thing was made in Korea. (laughing) - Doesn't this look like soft boiled eggs in a while? - I know, I just feel like they have the gadgets that are just so high tech and smart and cute. - They do it all. - My little dash egg maker. - I love it. - It might be time to replace it. It is breaking, but it still works. - I don't think I could tell you the last time I had a hard boiled egg. - It's only $20. - It's only, it's literally $19.99, I believe. - What was that under your best purchase? - No, I had a different one for that. But let me tell you, I love it. So I guess if you don't care about hard boiled eggs, then forget about this one. - Sure. - Okay, I will forget about it, thank you. (laughing) - How do you like scrambled eggs? - Yeah, I do. - That's normal. - I don't know why I'm like this. - Okay, this one is my go-to. I need to feel like myself again, routine. I kept it light. My favorite BondiSans tanning mousse, that'll really lift your spirits. - That's good. - If you need to just be shocked back into reality, nothing will make me feel hotter. It doesn't even matter if I apply it, right? It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. If it's the right color, it just matters that it's on. - Totally, it just matters that I did it. - Just get it on your body. - And that makes me, and it's from Amazon. It's actually a lesser, there's so many different self-tanners on the market. - You're kind of expensive. - This one is not expensive. - The Bondi Boost one? - It's under $30, BondiSans. - BondiSans? You can also get it targeted. - Okay. - Well, we need an Aussie to chime in if it's Bondi or Bondi. - It's $33. - $33. - Okay, yeah. - With the mitt. - Oh, with the mitt. - I don't even buy it with the mitt. - So, about the mitt is $29. - $29. - Oh, okay, great deal. - It lasts a while too. - Yeah, you get a couple of tans out of it. - Okay, then I get about 30 tans out. Like, it lasts a while. - Oh, why did I think a bottle only got with one tan? - Did it used to be like that? - Oh, no. - No, you get like 20 to 30. - I have been poorly mistaken in my entire life. - How much are you using? - No, I've never used it. - Oh, I've never used it. - Because I've never used it. - I've never used it. Man, that's an expensive bottle. A 30 bucks for one tan is like a little. - Yeah, no. - At that point, get a spray tan from an artist. - That's why I've been confused my last 15 years. - Let me clarify. - Let me clarify. I probably, everyone knew this from me. I've just never had a self tan, so I just-- - Yeah, well, you're tan. - Well, I tan my face, I'll say that, but you guys don't like the Isle of Paradise drops. I love them. - I don't just like using my moves 'cause it matches my body. - Your body. - Better. - Okay, perfect. - Our favorite date night activity. Recently, when I say recently, I mean around Thanksgiving. - Kill the, we have not been on a date a while. - We went to the movies. In a good old fashion movie, date night is the best. - We do that all the time. - It's just so fun. We went until Wicked 2. And Kill was really excited to see Wicked 2, which was kind of sweet. It's just so memorable. We went to dinner before, saw a movie. And it was just classic. - Get back to the classic. That's why-- - No, no, we were texting Blake. We should go on a movie night. - Well, we're even trying to see Project Hill Mary. - I wanna, I think Kill would love it. - I wanna see it so bad, but it's just so hard to get it on the calendar and make it happen. - I've heard such good reviews on that movie. - I read the whole book for the purpose of watching this movie, so, and the book was a lot for me to get through, so. - Yes. - It was educational. - I'm really talking about it with the way. - I would watch it, but I just don't think it's like my style of movie, even though it's like very well done. - It seems like a guy movie, but maybe that's why we go for a date. - Yeah, exactly. - Bring these ones. - I like guy movies better, actually. - Quote-unquote guy movies. - Just one of the guys. - Not at all. I just don't like necessarily necessarily romance. - Totally. - I mean, what is this even a question? Cheesecake Factory. - Are you a baby? - Are you a baby? - And bonus points, if we go to Barnes, a noble afterwards which we started that tradition and Matt will take me to Barnes and Noble Offers and pick out a book for me to read which a lot of people wouldn't like. I love being I love a signed reading and I do read every single one the one he's like that I'm reading right now he gave me and I'm like Matt crushed every time he goes I just asked the employees what's good oh my god that's sweet so we just go and browse and I pick out a book that's sweet it's really a fun time. That is a fun time and most cheesecake factories are by Barnes and Noble. I feel like they are like that's why I work out yeah that's a really fun little date. Go to gift for anyone do you have one for this? No one's gonna be sad about this guys girls everyone wants a new cup mm-hmm put a little swig who give card in there we're actually doing that for a friend for her birthday. I know you heard about swig. No I don't my friend does okay that's yeah yeah so we got her a cup and then a little gift card. Yeah so like if you want to do a little combo thing and you can go and you can never have enough as much as people want to tell you it's over consumption it is you gotta wash them what are you gonna drink out of. When they're in the washing machine dishwasher you could rotate them suckers. I learned the hard way. Okay if I go to get for anyone is the volcano candle from anthropology. Oh good one. And even if people don't like to burn candles they just take the lid out of the jars. Yeah and they're canisters are just gorgeous and they have different sizes so different price points but that is a gift that everyone loves. Literally we got in from our real estate agent. Real estate agent? Reelator? Reelator and we will never burn it because I'm like this is very special. It's such a special candle it's such a good gift. Okay now we're moving on to food and drink category which is very exciting because I've been eating a lot of food, drinking a lot of drinks. Coffee order. I'm so sorry this is so basic but it's just what I like. Okay every single morning I wake up excited about my double shot of espresso. Half calf. What's a half calf? It's literally like they put half the beans of a caffeinated decaf. Cool. Anyway well because I like two shots but I don't want to have that much caffeine. Right you need yeah the depth on your cup of coffee. I need the volume. I would need the volume. Not the depth. Sugar free vanilla syrup. Splash of milk. Splash of vanilla cream. Recently I've been doing way less milking creamer. I just really want it to taste like coffee and lots of ice. I'm seeing amount of ice. It's just been so good. Good. See I'm kind of similar but I'm a hot coffee girl. Every morning I wake up and I have two shots of espresso longo. The long shot. Yeah the long shot. Is that what it means? I just thought it was longo. Oh no I think it's a long shot. Yeah okay. Sorry. And then whole milk and that's it. And sometimes I like a latte and sometimes I like a cappuccino. You have no flavor in there. No flavors. Wow. Yeah I just love the taste of coffee. Sorry Jensy. I like it. I know they don't like tasting coffee. They just love the milk. Do you notice that when you watch people make their coffees? I'm like that's a lot. You're just having a glass of milk. Yeah yeah yeah and some caramel in there. Well okay my first coffee of the day I like it to have some flavor my second coffee if I have one. I'll just have it. Give it to me straight. This is business. It's not pleasure. Right. No it's pleasure. I know I love the taste. I love the taste cup. Um this one. Next category is hyper fixation meal. Recently it's just been anything my husband can grill. I don't want to I don't want the mess in the house. I'm like Matt you just go take that to the grill. I'll prep it and make a couple sides. It just makes my night so much easier. Yeah we love that. We need the ease. When I was pregnant I didn't want to touch any meat. So if there was meat in the meal Caleb had to make it so I get chicken salmon steak. I honestly have brought up the idea of pork chops a couple times. He's in the same beside about it but I would love a pork chop. I'm not thrilled about a pork chop. Have you had a good pork chop? I have yeah. I have. Just press on parts. I like pork chop. You know what burnt me out on pork was hell of rush. I was like stop setting me pork. Ellie you could probably request that not there. I know I didn't know I could change it. Okay my hyper fixation meal is this is a breakfast that I've been really into. It's from Trader Joe specifically. They're Trader Joe's brand Greek yogurt with honey. It's it's like the creamiest texture almost like ice cream. It's so good and it's so with honey and then they have this trail mix. It's the almond cashews and chocolate trail mix and they come in the individual pack. So it's like already pre portioned. You just dump it in there. They're so good and you tell us some strawberries. This is a very sweet sweet breakfast and that's how I like it. Great and I'm full for a long time. Good. It's very satiating. Good. It's so good. Breakfast is the easiest meal to get hyper fixated on. That was a really good point. Is it needed just to be easy? Yeah. Yeah. When I was pregnant, they were just put in your eggs. Every morning protein pancakes. Right now it's two eggs and two pieces of chicken sausage. Great. When growing up from six grade to senior of high school, I had two cinnamon egg waffles just slightly, just slightly toasted. Floppy. Yeah, I needed a floppy because I didn't make a mess on the bus. Grabbed in a paper towel out the door. Yes. Grabbed in a paper towel. Yeah. Out the door. Comfort food that never fails, soft pretzels. Oh, you're right. They're so good. How's Abby makes? Oh my gosh. Please, please make them. I make them on Sunday. I think we can ask every podcast episode. Please, for Easter. Yeah, sure. Appetizer. Yes. With a cheese dip. Would you write every single episode? We're like, please make them. Please make them. I love it. They never fail. They not. She does. I know. You're sitting there. Oh, make them. Such a giver. I love it when people, that's my highest form of love is people requesting specific foods that they know that I make. Yeah. It's very niche, but it really makes me feel loved. Oh, okay. I'll keep saying it then. Please, please, please, please. It makes me feel so known. You're talent. My comfort food is pot roast, which you know, I love the app for sure. I love pot roasts. Can't get better than that. Pot roast or short rib. Bring it on. You make short ribs? No, never have, but I buy it at the store, like restaurants. If I go out, if there's a short rib on the menu, that's what I'm ordering. I made them one time and it really overwhelmed me. I was like, I can't mess this up. This was so expensive. Yeah, no, I've never I've never made them myself. So much bones. Oh, really? I mean, it's ribs. Sure. I've never actually thought about what it is. It's ribs. Okay. There's a bone never one. Well, I'm still going to eat it. Yeah, they're good. Yeah, they're so good. Sweet treat, how are you going to say anything other than Trader Joe's ice cream sandwiches? Oh, this is blind. So, the blind, the blind, the blind variety is so delicious. I can't explain it. If you don't live next to Trader Joe's, I know you're paying for 23 years of my life. I didn't live next to Trader Joe's and it's a burden that you just have to carry, but the rest of us can enjoy this. My brain is that they're not on Instagram. That is so annoying. But honestly, it is a fun experience. It is such an experience. I enjoy it. And every time I go, I have to get like five boxes of these because I don't know when I'm going to be back and I go through them so fast. I know. Only four in a box is criminal, but it keeps coming back. It keeps coming back. My sweet treat is Rice Krispie. And you know, I was thinking about this since high school. When I started realizing I had free will, I would buy two of the large rice Krispie treats every day at lunch. And I'd put one of my backpack for later and one I'd eat at lunch. I was addicted. I loved your eating habits. There. I have so many to talk about. Now talk about the hot dog one right now. When I was in middle school, I went through a crazy grocery. I ate seven hot dogs with a bun at my friend's pool party. And her parents were stunned. And so I said, trying to set a record? No, I was just starving. And I was like, yeah, I'll eat more than the guys. I ate seven hot dogs with buns. And every time I'd go to her house after that, her parents would buy me my own pack. And I was like, I'm probably not going to eat that many again. I'm done growing. I'm done. I'm just going to have one please. Just one. Give me seven hot dogs. Seven hot dogs. Seven buns. No condiments. No condiments. Just no dog and bun. That is absolutely crazy. I think they were surprised. I'm probably like, wow, we didn't buy enough. You know what I mean? They're probably freaking out. You eat at all the dogs and all the dogs. I can't eat so much. I can't eat so much. I can't eat so much. I can't eat so much. He's coming hurry. How are you going last? Oh, man. Honestly, that just makes my love for you even. Okay, we are now rolling into whoever's still here. We still have a lot more. Should we cut this? Kids and family category. How are you going to say anything other than magnetiles for kids products? Magnetiles. That's why I put it. Perfect. Nupset. Nupset. You got to have them. Let's go deep with the magnetiles. I agree. Baby product. Newton baby breathable mattress. Ooh. Yeah, that's give me the most peace of mind, doesn't mom. Both my babies are like face fully in the mattress sleepers and they can breathe. That's great. It's great. I said they're dream land sleep sack. Those are great too. In fact, I had a couple conversations with Auggie. Auggie is approaching three and I'm like, hey, what do you think about not going with a sleep sack tonight? No, see back. He loves it. He just feels so safe in here. Yeah, they should make a transition product like a blanket or something for older kids. Yeah, I don't know. He loves it so much. Yeah, that's a good idea. Yeah. Time buying taller activity. Mine's kind of weird. What is it? I think the Amazon kids knives. Oh, the kids knives. You have a kid knives. Any fruit or vegetable that you're going to be using anything you need to cut in your recipe that you can safely give to a kid to try to cut with those knives. Yeah. While you're cooking arc or say for instance, I just keep some celery in my fridge. For everyone if I'm like, I really need to cook but I can't really give any of these tasks to them because it involves heat. Oh, that's a good idea. Sharp things. I literally just let them sit there and cut celery. Wow. They will do it for sure. They're so long, so diligently cutting celery. And I think it's great for their motor skills. And that knife set is so cheap. And we get so much use out of it. - Yeah. - And it could really, my kids don't color, but they will cut with knives. - Nice. - They will cut. They also like scissors, those are like kid scissors. So I think that was a good activity. - That's a great one. Mine is, CJ loves going in the backyard with the hose and washing his cars. - That's a good idea. - He loves it. And like our backyard saves, I can just open up the windows and it's all baby perfect there, turn the hose on. And I don't care if he gets wet. He usually comes back, not with his clothes on. He's taken out, he's getting some sun, he's outside getting fresh air, and he's washing all of his toys. - My kids aren't usually in clothes. - Yeah. - He needs clothes. (laughing) - I did look up 'cause I was curious about the dreamland baby. They have one that's for walkers, so you put their feet in it. So like, argue still has one that's like fully over. - He falls a bit, he doesn't want it. - He's on the bag. - Check me, he walks in it. - All right, yeah. But this one has like-- - Oh, wow. - Actual. - Oh my god. - You can't even fully extend his legs in it. And I'm like, hey buddy, let's get rid of it. He's like, no, he literally just curls up in it like a little baby. - That's sweet. - I might get the walker one. - That's the great. - Okay. - Actually, Dreamland did a April Fool's Day joke last year that I fully fell for. - The adult ones? - Genius marketing. Except they weren't actually selling it probably, but it got a lot of attention. They said they were making adult Dreamlands, and everyone was so excited, including your girl. And then they didn't get 'em. They didn't make up. - They're like April Fool's. - Oh, and you're like, wait a minute. I'm actually, I know today's the day. Stay off Instagram, please. I came with all these companies. - You had to make a joke. - Oh, companies are doing it today. - I mean, they're always doing it. - They're always doing it. - I remember when we were closing Boll. (laughs) - This is sad. - It was all the, you know, I was like, oh my gosh, all these small businesses are also closing. - When we were together. - It was, I felt validating for a second. I'm like, the market's hard. And then it was like, April Fool's Day. - We're crushing it. - And it is the old line. - Dang it. - Good for you. - Entertainment, media, slash music. What you got? - What you got? - Guests. - Justin Bieber. - Oh, baby, you went out. - I'm not a woman that switches up her music. Listen, Justin Bieber's been the soundtrack to my life. I was thinking about this. I remember where I was the first time I heard one time. I was at a bully ball tournament. - That means so much. - And the lobby of Incarnate Word High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Change my life that day. (laughing) - I remember where I was when I first heard baby. (laughing) - Where were you? - I'm sorry, not baby. Sorry, I wrote this down. My world came out when I was eighth grade freshman year. Soundtracked of my young adult, my young child life. My world first concert, big concert, then I remember going to when I listened to the believe album, baby. No, I was baby. I was in my kitchen sitting on my parents' stools. And so if I never laughing 'cause they kept saying swag, swag, swag on you. And then if it loves the song. Purpose came out my freshman year of college. Should I keep going? Changes came out right after we got married. Swag, I was pregnant with Vivian. I just, it's a soundtrack of my life. And I'm never going to stop. - Are we going to stop? - That is so wild. - Did you have to look back at when those came out or that was just at the top of your brain? - No, I did look back to confirm. What was at the top of my brain? - Oh gosh. - So both. - Both. - Yes, and. - Wow. - That's all right. - I'm taking a hard break. (laughing) 'Cause this category is entertainment, media, music. - Okay. - What? - I just said audible. - Like the audio. - Like your voice. (laughing) - Mine was audible. And so audible is, I've been going on a lot of walks. I'm on public rest so I can't work out. So I just go on walks. And I feel like I prefer to read a book, but listening to books, I have started to transition. - And I like it. - You like it. - Yeah, I do like it. I've read two books on audio. - Every time I tried to listen to a book, I haven't liked the voice. - Really? - The same lady does like basically pretty much all of them. - I don't know how she's got the time. - Mm-hmm. - She's paid probably a good amount. - Well, that's great, Abby. - Sorry, I don't listen to music. - No, that was a good one. - Okay, favorite book, slash movie. The Nightingale. - Oh yeah. - Yeah, I read that recently. My friend Curly gave me that. - I made a video of me. - Yeah, that's a gut-wrenching book, but it's an incredible read. My friend Curly recommended it, and I love it. It's a good one. - I just did a recent favorite, which was Broken Country, 'cause I haven't talked about it on this podcast yet, but a lot of people were talking about it, Broken Country. It's like a deeply emotional book. A lot happens, it's not a very long book, but like so much happens. And it's one of those, I'm like I will remember this. And it was a good one. - Yeah, what do you have for a movie? - I didn't put a movie. - Oh, okay. - I thought it was a book slash movie. - What's your movie? - She's a man. - Of course. - Of course it is. - I watched that with you for the first time. - You did? - Yeah, I think I was supposed to part in with Griffin. - Oh my gosh. - That's a good movie. - When I was pregnant with CJ Giving Birth, I kept changing him ahead during labor. - Who's gonna bring that blood and pain? - I couldn't remember where it came from. And then I watched, she's the man. And it's their chant and their soccer, soccer huddle. I was like, "Why am I chanting?" She's the man. - Our broad spirits are so different. - It's so stupid, I did that. - Who is your comfort creator, Abby? - Okay, I have two. One for YouTube is Caroline Winkler. I love her YouTube video. She does a lot of interior design. And she just bought her and her husband, or fiancee just got a like a really old school, really beautiful apartment. And she's been decorating it. And it's so fun to watch. She's hilarious. And I just love her videos. She's very creative, very funny, very entertaining. And then on Instagram, Maddie Nelson, I followed her for such a long time. And her family's so sweet, they're in Texas. She has a long clothing boutique. I just love following her. - So the only thing I really like try to scroll on is YouTube. And this is kind of neat, you guys. But she deserves a shout out because I literally go to YouTube shorts every day to catch up on her shorts. 'Cause she's post like three a day. - Right. - Her name is Gloria. She does not maybe want all this tension. She just has such a tight and protective of this community. - Oh, what is this? - What is this? - No, she's just, she just has, she's a special, she's a special ed teacher. - Oh, cool. - But she also makes content of her like making her coffee in the morning. And she makes sweet treats. And like she's just so cute. I think her personality is so cute. Yeah, her name's Gloria. Her tag is like glow yo-yo. I always show them at her videos. And I'm like, she's just, when I say, think of a comfort creator, it's this week girl. - Aww. - She, like, she actually has a ton of, she has a lot of subscribers. - How many? - She has 53k subscribers. - Oh yeah, she makes shorts. - She only does shorts. - Yeah. - Fun. - Anyway, she makes her coffee and she makes sweet treats, but mostly I just like love her personality. Like sometimes she'll record what she brings for lunch, like to school where she teaches. And she's on spring break with her mom right now. Like, they went to Denver. - She has fun. - She's just really cute. And I just like think her personality is just so joyful. And she loves sumo oranges. And a espresso. She likes her espresso to match the color of her hair and it's really dark, so she likes the dark. - Oh, that's true. - She loves tiramisu, I mean, I just like love her content. And she's cute. - Yeah, and she's two dogs. - Cute, I've never heard of her. I'm going to follow her. - Gloria. - Okay, shopping favorites, slash rapid fire. - Okay, I feel like my brain just stopped first. - I skipped a lot of these. - This is probably my most passionate one. - Okay, do it. - I can make this whole category. - Okay, my favorites find under $20. - Favorite find under $20, go. - It's this light. It's the Alixir light. - Oh yeah. - This thing is really good. - It just clips onto the back of your phone and it gets really bright. I'm not going to turn it on, but I keep it in my purse. And even if you're just, I feel like when I was in college I would have loved this 'cause you're always out at night with your friends and you want to get pictures taken and the lighting is always terrible. And no fence with the iPhone cameras nowadays are trash. They're really bad. I feel like they've only gotten better, Abby. I just don't like it. I don't like it. And so, also my light sensors are broken. That's probably why. - Okay. - But I love this light. - That's a good one. - Yeah. - It's like, it ranges from $12 to $30 on Amazon. - Mine is the unbrush. - I almost brought mine. - You influenced me. - I should have cleaned that out. - But that brush will really detangle your hair. - Yeah. - It won't tug on it. You can use it when your hair is wet. Love that thing. It's really good. You influenced me and I did get that. - Thank you. - I got it from my favorite things party two years ago. - My eye buy this over an over item. - It's gotta be Ilius skin tint. - It's so good. - I have probably purchased 50 of these. I've used it exclusively. I don't really wear a foundation. I just use this because I think it has amazing coverage. It has SPF 40 in it and it goes on supernatural on the skin. You don't really even have to match your skin color. That good. It will blend and it has skincare in it. It's just, it won't clog your pores. - Yeah. - It's clean. It just smites the same. - Okay, Ilius skin tint. And I think we actually, we're the same color. - Number seven does. No, I wear a bomb bomb. - Oh, okay. - One time you got Dias and I was like too dark for me. It was too dark for you. - I'm bomb bomb. - Okay, then I'll keep using Dias. - I prefer a bomb bomb bomb. - Next, I cheated on this one. It's my favorite thing I bought this year. I bought it last year, but you know what? I cautious my favorite last year in this year. My espresso maker. It was a splurge purchase. I have a Jura espresso maker. - Oh yeah. - I'm telling you, when I wake up excited every morning, I'm not kidding. I'm so excited. And I'm so excited to make coffee for other people too. It's just, I'm like, you want a coffee please. Please, no seriously, let me allow me to make you a coffee. And I said, when I got that, I was like, I'm not gonna get coffee out and I don't ever even feel tempted 'cause I actually enjoy my coffee from home one. Love it, I love it. - My favorite thing that I bought this year, Lynn and Shores had bought for Caleb. I'm sorry, but the man's wearing Shores from 2012. - So it was time. - And underwear, I mean, yeah, I'm all the thing. Caleb still wears a Cardinals World Series shirt from 2009. - Ooh, it's in great condition. - Hang dry. - Hang dry, thank you. - Your favorite thing is a thing you bought for your husband? - Listen, I'm going off the spa right now. (laughing) - Lynn and Shores from where? - I bought them yesterday from Old Navy. (laughing) - Yesterday? - That was so weird. - I can't remember, this was one that stumped me because I just started getting back into purchasing things. And there are a lot of things that tickle me because it just feels good to buy things, just tickling to buy your husband and Lynn and Shores. - I got some old Navy. I actually bought them Abercambi once, twice. It's a whole thing, I'm not going to get into it. I love the Abercambi once, but I just said that I'm the Old Navy once. - They're pretty short. - You know, it's not, it's a whole thing. - Okay. - I'll ask you off camera, yeah. If I care to know. - You know, you can know, it just, it doesn't, they don't care. The people don't care. - My go to athletic brand, Hocus. - Hocus are great. - I love Hocus, I also love Hocus. - Did I mess up by doing shoes? - No, that's great. - Okay, mine's at Lula Lemon. I worked there, I got bought in, and I'll never buy out. The quality is unbelievable. I still wear my stuff from high school. You just got to hang dry it. Classic, quality, it can't be beat. And I always ask for gift cards and things on my birthday and holidays. And it's just like the big, I just love it. I love it, I love it. - So many competitors out there. - I know. And they don't compare. (laughing) - For miscellaneous, I said my AirPods Max, which, this is one of those things where I was like, this cannot be worth it, which I actually do feel like you could probably find some good dupes, but it was a gift for Christmas that we got like partially from my mother, my in-laws, partially from my grandma, and we also chipped in. So I was like, it's sweet. - I was like, it's sweet. - It was a pot. (laughing) And I got these headphones and I wear them on my walks. I wear them when I'm doing tours and I actually really like them. But I also have very particular ears. I don't like ear buds. - Sure. - But these are for sure the best headphones. I really do think that. - I've heard good things. - Yeah. - I really like them. I wish I didn't, I do think you could find a dupe, but gosh, they're so, it's a special gift. - Yeah, that's a good one. - They get a lot of wear out of. - My miscellaneous tech is the Wally case. It's a great phone case. - Wally, great to see you. Put your ID in there, driver's license, one credit card and you're at the door. It's perfect. - Wow, are you guys sick of hearing from us? Let's hear from you. Moving on to voices. - Yay. (laughing) - Ask, ask, ask, Abby. - Hey Abby, this is Paulina. I have a two and a half year old and we just started potty training her. And I was wondering if you have any tips or tricks on potty training your boys. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, bye. - Okay, Abby, take it away. - I have the worst advice, but I think it's the best advice. - Let's hear it. - Just wait until they are literally ready. And I know that people think this is a big scheme by the diaper companies, but literally our experience, maybe we just got lucky. I will say that was so seamless with my oldest. I literally was one day like, "Hey, do you want to wear underwear "and go to the bathroom on the toilet instead?" He was like, "Yeah." So we did, I will say, going like a day, if you stay home with them, go a day where they're just naked because sometimes they're just so used to just doing it whenever they have to go. Like, they need to feel like, "Oh, they can start." And they're like, "Oh, nope, this isn't the same." And then literally he just started using the toilet because I, but I also waited until he was three. And I do think that the thought of doing it with my two and a half year old, he's getting close, but I'm still like, he just needs to wait till he's three. But every kid is different. I don't think it needs to be this big stressful thing is all I'm saying. I'm like, "You can rate, diapers are great and work fine." And then just start the conversation a lot. Like, even with Oggy now, when I changed diaper all the time, I'm like, "You know, one day, we're gonna get rid of these diapers. "You're gonna wear underwear." Pick out really fun underwear for them. Like we talk about what kind of underwear he'd want to wear, what he wants on them. And we just like talk about it a lot. And then, yeah, just wait, just push it off. But that's also just maybe, if you have a special reason like preschools, like they do require that in sort of daycares. Yeah, I would just say stay home for like, plan to stay home for like three days and just leave them naked and then every time. And also be very kind when there's an accident. I feel like this goes without saying, but there's like a whole category of trauma related to body training for people. And it's specifically like bed wetting. But like every time someone has an accident, now that I've been paying my pants, I bring it up all the time with the kids. And they're like, "Everyone makes mistakes, we're still learning." We say that all the time, like with we have an accident. Or like, "Everyone makes mistakes, we're still learning." And so just like, be very great. Like to get mad at your kid for that seems really crazy. But yeah, just talk about it in a really positive way. Positive, calm way, no big deal. Yeah, love that, it's great advice. Hi, my name is Emily and I absolutely love her podcast. I listen to it every week and just look forward to some awesome girl time with lots of laughs. My question for you guys is how do you deal with comparison or envy when it comes to your friendships with other women? Thanks so much. - That's a great question. Thanks for listening, Emily. It's really sweet. I actually feel like my biggest issue with comparison is I could, isn't put to myself. Which is kind of like a look back at pictures in the past and make me sad. Like, oh, I look so, you know, I was, it's so many things you're going on then. Like, how fun we're having. Like, my self to myself is sometimes harder. I were a member distinctly when I had my clothing business. There was one girl in particular that we had started at the same time. We were, like, I just felt like I was in competition with her because we were around the same time. So a lot of the same things. And I remember feeling really bitter. Sometimes about her success because she was, she had like really great months that she would talk about. And I'd be struggling at different times. And I remember just really feeling like, hey, I have to pray for that girl. Like, instead of being jealous and feeling that, I started to pray for her success. And that was kind of like a switch in my heart that I needed of like, it's not actually, we're not in competition. I actually can hope for her best. And that's good. Like, there's enough room for all of us. And I feel like it kind of took the attention away from the feelings of bitterness and jealousy and envy. And I didn't switch to like, I actually want the best for her. So that's good advice. Yeah, that's all I got, honestly. I think she was also mentioning specifically in like friendships. Oh, I guess the mindset, like I think we could look at our friendship and be like, we're in similar fields of work, like in different levels of success. And I would say I've never felt like jealous or anything. I think I've always just been like, really proud of you. So with your friends, it's, I think it's taking the mindset of like, oh, look how much they have or what they've done. And I don't have that. I think it's more so just being like, wow, like that's amazing that you've accomplished that. And use that more, try to reframe your mind and turn that into motivation and like excitement for your friend. Then maybe like, oh, I'm not good enough for it, you know. Instead of turning it into a negative for yourself, you can just be happy for your other people. Yeah, that's great. Hi, girls, a fellow Midwestern here. I'm calling just to ask about how have you, girls? I know you have some in-laws or family, close family members who live outside of the state. How do you guys have your kids keep up with them? What are some fun ways that you include in-laws or parents that might live out of the state just in your kid's life? Whether that be, you know, faith times or other creative ways to include them just in your kid's life? Thanks so much, bye. That's good one. I think faith time is obviously great. It's easy to fall out of that routine. I feel like sometimes like having a set time for that is probably the best way to do it. Yeah. That's kind of a basic one. I think there's a lot of really cute ways that like we, like we for them, give them like the digital picture frames. And I feel like they just get sent straight to their frames so they can see videos and pictures of the kids like in real time, like sending pictures a lot. Also, we should do this. There's books where you can record the grandparent reading a book. So then every night you could just play the audiobook, like they can push the button and it's them reading that page. And I think that's a great way to include them. You can also do like Yoda characters, like are Yoda cards like of the grandparent's reading one. But I also think just including them in everyday conversations, like we talk all it's time about them. Like we're like grandma and papa. And like at night we always say like what we're grateful for. And like we just bring them up a lot like our whole family. And so it's just like a part of our conversation all the time. And that's like that's something you as the parent can do, like a lot with the kids is like. So then when they see them, it's like they're picking right back up. We talk about things that we've done together. Like remember that time that we went, like when we just explain things like grandma and papa's house and talk about it a lot. It's really good. Totally. Definitely to add, I feel like that's great. Awesome. Well, you guys, if you also would like to call in, which also we're so grateful when you do call in. And we love hearing from you. And it's such an honor. The number is 6024569690. We'll also put it in the show notes recipes. We can link. Do we still want to do this? Yeah, I can say a quick one. Mine's the Jennifer Aniston salad. It doesn't have meat in it. So it keeps really good. You can add like we're just right chicken. It's a quinoa salad. It has veggies. It takes no time to prepare. And it's just a really good, like, lunch or side option. I friend Kendall got me onto it and I've had it a lot the last three years. It's just a go-to. Go with chips. It's good. I'll show it on my recipes now. I remember it. This is specific if you have a bread maker but I have a like honey wheat bread recipe. You literally throw all the ingredients in order. It's very important that you put them in order in your bread maker and then you literally just set the bread maker on it and it will mix, need, let it rise and bake it all in there and it's just honey wheat bread and it's delicious and I've made it since Matt and I got before we got married. So I remember you making that in your first apartment. It's filling bread and put some peanut butter on it. Oh gosh. Glass of milk, it's delicious. Yum. Well amazing you guys. FAQs

The hosts question the effectiveness of vibration plates, noting they're marketed as helping with lymphatic drainage and circulation, but believe there's little evidence to support these claims. They suggest the product is more performative than beneficial.

The hosts are disappointed with tinted sunscreen, as it doesn't provide visible coverage or lasting tint. They clarify it's not meant to be worn under makeup and may not suit users who want coverage on the face or hands.

The hosts express mixed feelings about natural deodorants. While they love some brands like Wild, they report allergic reactions and note that switching from anti-perspirants can cause a period of adjustment. They caution that individuals with sensitive skin may not tolerate them well.

The hosts strongly advise against buying the Wallypop magnetic phone case, as it doesn't stick to surfaces. They highlight that the product is ineffective for its intended purpose and recommend opting for the regular Wally case instead.

They recommend a first serum concealer for dry under-eyes, noting it's lightweight, doesn't crease, and effectively covers without being cakey or heavy.

The hosts recommend a double cleanse face wash, praising its foaming texture, oil-control properties, and dermatologist-recommended effectiveness in removing makeup and impurities without clogging pores.
