Hello Mick, good morning to you, Mick. You get enjoying to just look back at Rare Week on Saturday. Good morning to you, Jehaw. Yeah, what a weekend of racing it was. The track played as we thought it would play. You wanted to be sort of closer to Lane's 1-7 and those who were a bit wider. We're going to struggle on the day and otherwise you could probably say that you know margins at 600 Ys that played fair enough there. But yeah, there's certainly a sweet spot. Yeah, Queen Elizabeth, we have chated about this already this morning with Hutchy and Gated. Cleen Hutcherson and David Gaetley and so Delius was too strong and was a different ballgame to what Autumn Glow has been going around and competing in, obviously, with that tempo. It was a soldily run 2000 meters and she just didn't finish it off with that tempo over that trip. Yeah, she was just exposed probably the way that she was going to get beat. She was to get beat was the 1500 to 2000 and so is easy after the race isn't it? But she'll be much better for that run. I don't think that we could maybe ridiculous to suggest she can't run a strong 2000 meters at that tempo later on in her career. So I wouldn't rule that out in the spring carnival. That's for sure. She was really good. She bumped into a really good horse in so Delius. So we know how good so Delius is. He has issues, obviously down in Victoria's couldn't go around late in the spring campaign, but he's an absolute star. He's very, very good horse and she equidized herself quite well. I think the difference is those who took it all 30, they'll be bitterly disappointed, but we spoke at nauseam. That wasn't the right price to take about his horse. She was good. I really, really good. We spoke about the likely regression and almost going to the well edge. I'm fine. Something with Blink is first time. So he's been long into tooth now. This prize we'll see you in that here again. Great to see Ser Delius get the job done and don't do not drop off autumn guillem. There could be a lot of chat about what's the best trip and isn't a mile and potentially isn't mile. But I think she'll have any issues getting to 2000 metres in the spring. I don't think she'll go to 2000 metres that way for now. I think that's why it's 1500 to 2000 and it's a bit of a quantum leap at a fast tempo. Why would you put a pen to it off that runner? It seems odd. Well, is she better than she's a alibi? Last week I think we were pretty confident with the she's alibi is a better horse. That was sort of the take that we're on there and I'd say that she probably still beats autumn guillem over 2000. But we have not seen that horse at 2000. Yeah. Now it'll be interesting to see what they do. I reckon they'll go maybe King Charles champions mile with autumn glow. And so Delius, you think that have a different preparation with autumn glow if 2000 was a target? Would they be, would they have gone 1500 to 2000s, bringing not not a chance? Well, when you hear them talking about going to the 1200 metres there when they got a rural ascot instead of the queen Anne, makes you think that they don't think she's a 2000 metre horse. Then why did we end up here? Yeah, well, they've got a try, I guess. They had to try. Yeah, but I think I think you've tried it, G. And I don't think she's failed. No, no, yeah, and that's a good point you make because she did defeat as one of our listeners pointed out some really good 2000 metre horses. So it will be interesting to see what they do with her heading towards the spring. Other good performances there across the weekend, idle fly. She was too strong. You were right, Mickey. You just had to forgive her for that Flemington failure in the spring. Yeah. She produced the goods over the 1600 metres. That's the rule. We give you good horse one that run. You had to try to stay up to pay it. I was finally a believer that we long time to get around this horse that we got there in the end and finally got a good result. Lady Shannon doll was really good as well. Trish, the moment I think that's her. Well, I think that's where she's at now. She might be better in the spring again. But that was good from her pride of Jenny, you know, good one week off the net tough, tough to follow. But it's always great with her and races because she gives us a really good sight. She's a hustler low flying, not sure where she goes. She suggests the Queensland campaign there. Any idea where she goes? Which one? Sorry. She's a hustler. She's going to Queensland. Yep, definitely. Yeah. Well, you'd be following her wherever she goes. She was very, very good. But now idle fly, full credit to Matsumi, Zach Lawy, Good ride. But yeah, she's well, I didn't expect about it again or weaker. And this was her time. This was her time to stand up and be counted. And she certainly has done that. And I think Lady Shannon doll loses any admirers again. But we just the horse, this victim of being in a stable that's so good with so much depth. I mean, does it a duck and leave too often? It's rare that happens. But yeah, it may just happen with Lady Shannon doll. Tempted too strong in the Aerofield to fiend. Devil Knight who was brave and grafted. Burners will head up to Queensland now. Of course, back to his home state for a few of those feature sprint races. Your thoughts on tempted? Is she the best printer in the land in your eyes? Yes, she is. Yeah. And I think at the start of the carnival, it was whether or not Tentaris was going to come out and be better around a bend. And probably proven not to be albeit. It's had a few things against him, but she's got the runs on the board now. So she is insane that this was this was set weight three or all. So good performance. The figures would be good. She ran and won against the pattern of the day in a slowly run race. So she was entitled to probably not win as well as she did. Devil Knight was good. Grat the burners with excuses. There's only one horse that you really want to be following it out of the race other than tempted. And that's cafe Florian excuses. Go law. Lame. Got smashed on jumping. She's a bit horse. She will be winning group one races at some stage in her career. While it was added again, he's a genius because I hope a wins was only fair. I reckon in a winery and he's able to pick her up again and to to get her to produce that performance to win an Australian oaks after having a host of grand finals in New Zealand. And then being transferred to him for another prep and she was too good for profoundly and after summer and classic gem in the Australian oaks. What was your take on that group one for the three year old Phyllis? Yeah, I think the best best stay a one on the day. I went quick in the race. We spoke about it for four links quicker to the 600 meters than the class. And last time out, we spoke about how she was willing to really unsuited by the race. But not occasionally this time she gets a run and shape in a favor and she wins the race. The query for me was anything to do with it. Her ability, her sustainability was it was more about her long sustained campaign and whether or not she could come up for another grand final. She's in the right hand, but it's an incredible need to go to the Sullivan Scott team to have having this horse in the you know, come over to Australia ready to go to another grand final. You could say so she was really good. So it was profoundly after summer was good classic gem not too bad big gap to the rest. Wouldn't be worrying about them. Do we know anything about any of these horses potentially any decoy or maybe a classic gem or an after summer? I'm not quite sure with them. They've been up for a long time. I thought that there was there was talk the dom Sutton might go to out of labor. That's probably took a turn around now and it's been done before we're horses have competed in Australian oaks and then gone to the Australasian oaks. Yeah. But I have to keep an eye on that. I don't know anything just yet. But I hope it wins definitely goes to the paddock. What other performances best car just keeps on winning regular water reckon with something beat well he's he's a victim of his own. He's a victim of his immaturity at the moment. I reckon regular what? Yeah, he's certainly he spoke about this last week in the first race. The name of the horse escapes me. I've wiped it from my memory, but the race starts when the boat is open. And maybe for this horse the race almost starts before could he played up in the in the gates as well. So he needs to sort his manner out. If he lands quite a few wins the race they went even time, but not put any pressure on on best car. So he's like watching the replays just thinking what's what's going on here? So what do you want to follow out of the race, regular award? No doubt you want to follow regular war. Marath Merritt there in Vesca, let a good horse which I think it's fair to say he is a good horse, even though we had 59 kilos lead like that. He will win. Cherry Bombshell, well known to Travis Newton on winners on Saturday. He gave this horse a good push 20 to 1 being on top of the ground once again and was too good for Braveman, dissonant who was mighty there in defeat and care and star third in that Percy Sykes. Few disappointments reaching out was heavily supported. Mr Kick never really took much part in that race. Yes, full credit to Travis good fight there are lowly lowly enough rate and race moving forward. What would you do with it? Would not be interested in much from that race to be completely frank. I thought Satano Glow is probably luckless, probably should have won the races. Even luck there screen icon in the bit of a moment. sort of run. So yeah, not a lot from that race, other than the winner and maybe Satana Glow that you could follow with a bit of confidence, but it's not a lot of confidence. Now not too many people knew before the race, what was going to happen in the Swebs in in Cup and changing of the Guard got under a lot of people's guards there to win the Cup. Dry deck link is back on and I think that the ride was pretty good. So you know that better swing out there did what he wanted to do with even time to 600 meters, but the best bit was it from basically the 1000 meters to Satana to click them up and caught a lot of them of guard would have liked to see a bit more earlier pressure for other horses in the race. Soil was playing publisher to one with Eva Mark, earning us a pretty fair say isn't it? At the basket made good ground, but it's pretty disappointing performances in there to be to be framed. I don't like the form one at all. I completely hate the race all together and I'm not sure where it is would continue on an preparation G, but I would you know, wouldn't be following them any of these with any confidence other than a soul of Spain who should have won the race. I was disappointed with Valley King like he's just not the horse that we saw in the spring. I think he just need, yeah he's not. I think you probably just need to better set up as well, but yeah it was disappointing when you're beating seven links. Like if it's beaten a length and a half, then I think we could cop that. Yeah, you're disappointing. So it was your first R's to be fair. Yeah, I don't want to bring this up, but we'll have to now because it's the last race. We were three from three with our top four Maltese and now Gideon out weekend preview top four Maltese and then we went into the last race at Rammic on Saturday with your top four selection and that was flying for fun and he was well supported and we thought surely he doesn't miss top four and then he's four wide the trip. You wouldn't believe it. We've jinked that. He missed top eight, Anthony. Four performance. I think he performed well below his, well below her best I should say. Or be it like that race. I don't understand what was going on there because you Jayma, if he showed any element of intent there, gangster granny wins the race, they've gone that slow. They've gone only six things slower than this he's kind of me. Yeah, absolutely walk. He's actually wide. I had flying for fun mapping to just track gangster granny in the R. I assume gangster granny was going to go across one for fun. We've been all landing. It's bottom. It's just no intent. So anyway, it is what it is. You get beaten in races and I've got this one wrong. So sorry to listen as in the team and I'll happily have the week off the Maltese. No, mate. You stay. You stay on the side. You've got enough runs on the board. A few questions coming through. If Jolly Star found a dry track last start, there'd be no question who our best printer is. How to say tempted is our best without an autumn weight for age start under her belts. Well, I don't know. Once you run in the Everest second. Yes, she did. Yeah. I don't know. Like what? Because she they don't want to win a win a group one with her. Right? You can understand why I've done that. I don't think that that takes it away just because she hasn't gone to it. Like I understand their point, but she runs second and ever. So she proven in weight for age last season and you'll be proven again to be probably one of our best season. So Jolly Star or tempted. I'd be tempted. Morning boys. They tried the 2000 meters as Waller and J Mac were adamant she would cover 2000, but they did challenge the breeder and owner who has distinction in this field. Mr. Massara was never convinced and wanted to keep the pick offense rolling. Hence why we got the Waller press release yesterday and J Mac being flat post-race. This Massara was adamant to them both the 2000 meters is out of reach. That's what people and racing fans need to get their head around. I reckon they had to try 2000 meters because it's going to point out they didn't think wings would get 2000 meters. Well, some didn't anyway. J. Autumn. How did she not get 2000 meters? Yeah. Which bit did she not get? Which bit did she got beaten by a really, really good horse? They had a 2000 meter round of it run under his belt. Can we maybe potentially question the preparation in the sense of if she had a 2000 meter run under her belt that she would have handled a better? That's pretty obvious isn't it, J? J. Autumn. Come on. J. Autumn. Glow. Everest. Is that is not just silly? That's ridiculous. That won't happen while they put it. If they're afraid of getting beat as has been sort of suggested while they go to try and take on kaying rising that won't he won't be beat and Uncle Wayne. I love his opinions but kaying rising won't get caught. Why? There's no scenario. I think it's start from Barrett. It gets start from Barrett 24. They get every zone Barrett in 24 out there and he won't be three-wide. I don't think the gates are concerned for kaying rising. In fact, he probably needs a pacemaker because with the way that our sprinters, our best sprinters, are they're all sit sprinters. So he would be able to do what he wants if he drew outside, the outside gay, he was across you would imagine. I think the only small query for kaying rising, the only possible way that he would get beaten in Everest if it's a heavy 10. Yeah, all your burner account. That might give you the wobbles. You're spot on. That's about it. And at that time of year, we do get some rain but generally you're thinking it's going to be not a worse than a soft track. Forces to follow, Mickey. Yeah, interesting splashback. I think we could follow the splashback, of sure. Monty's Supreme was good for their last race as well. Unsuited, swore tempo. Yeah, idle flyer. She's the hustler. The most definitely we have to follow. She's a hustler wherever she goes. So I was paying. Cafe Florian. I'm so happy on this horse. She'll be winning group one races. I've known that about it. Devil Knife's going really, really well. Graphed the burners will have a winnable race up there in Queensland for sure. And I think not a lot of this guy we didn't touch about it. She was impressive. He's way better than that level. Sure, nothing enraged to a rival award. Autumn King, all be of the fact that the insiders came in the first as a couple horses that Stitzer was running on a right. Universe had no luck in the sumac. Still hasn't got out. I think he's still there. Picked up against the fence. So yeah, that's how we saw horses to follow. Jay won't be being camping on de-attalion. I would imagine next week in the group one champagne. And then it's going to be it's a rrific all-aged. Briassa will go around Wayne Hawkes will confirm that I reckon in the means test.
