Welcome to Covetingles from podcast. So we talked about meetings right? Yes. And like seriously, honestly I want to know how to be good at meetings, like honestly. Okay. And then can I ask you some questions about? Sure, let's do it. Being a good meeting. Let's try it. Meeting player. So you know for example like we do some meetings for about like I guess whatever the contents for sure. And then sometimes well I don't have much strong opinion first of all. So I just kind of well both are fine kind of as I understand. But sometimes like you have your own kind of style and then you have your opinion. And for example let's say I don't know forever the company maybe or like any members maybe have like different opinion and it goes kind of I don't say battle but it goes like this one has this opinion and this one has this opinion and it's completely opposite. Okay. And sometimes it goes like both like don't agree with each other. Yeah. And then finally like for example like this guy wins I would say. Sure. And then how do you process that like you've got your own opinion but like that's kind of didn't say or. Okay. And then what's in your mind when that happens. So when that happens so you just dove right into I guess the core. Okay. Yeah that's very yeah well because like when we do some meetings well I'm not talking a specific guy or like you know I don't know but in general like there are like some people who are very good at speaking or like very good at like you know those things like debating debating yes yes and every time the Hiroyuki-san kind of type of guy okay you know and then like how do you see that like I yeah you know right so if you can't if you can't win you just have to not you do you just what I do is not put my happiness in that project. Okay. Like I start looking for happiness elsewhere. Oh I start detaching myself from that. I just I won't like I see I adjust it so that whatever outcome it is yeah I'm working with that person won't affect my happiness. Oh I see. So that makes it much more smoother. That's good. Yeah because right I've yeah what I learned is that you can't have two drivers in one car so just one has to really let go yeah one has to be the you know oil yeah yeah yeah to make it zero friction and you have to sort of sometimes understand the role I guess. That's nice. Yeah and then that's that's what I do. Oh that's good. Yeah and it's not always a bad thing right to be like that. Yeah yeah yeah it's a bit like for a bigger sure thing. Absolutely. Yeah I see. Kind of similar thing happened happened to me like very long time ago I decided like oh like I it's like you know and then I guess that kind of same thing to you but I feel like you have very good at I would say being like the oil. Okay. I want to know the like the balance like you're not completely outside and watch it guy you still kind of being it's like the helping and this very good oil and it hmm I guess I guess the moment I transition into like well this battle is not going to be this battle is going to turn into a war if one of us don't so let's make let's say that I make that switch to becoming the oil then I what I do is I just I use all my sources to think about what that person wants hmm what that person would love to hear or like what that person would help mm-hmm like how I can help that guy hmm that's how I transition that's very important really yeah that's a mature way I think think about yeah I mean yeah I mean that's that it's ultimately that's better for your like mental health as well yeah I could don't want to continue doing that project thinking that man I I really wanted to do this yeah yeah but like that that builds up right so you'd want to release that you know itch somewhere else yeah right and then do your best you can to right help that guy yes yeah so like taking taking out and doing like differently that's something I really very much understand and yeah but still you're doing this as very cooperative way and like helpful mm-hmm like using your brain using your resource everything and it's very autonomous me like it's oh really so yeah it's it's great well okay yeah does that help yeah what also helped was I had a I had a conversation with that person of like hey we have two different minds at my two different yeah we have two different engines we have two different arrows going in different directions yeah yeah and I'm gonna make sure that I'll fulfill that arrow somewhere else mm-hmm so you do you want this project but do know that I wanted to take the control yeah but I'll step down mm-hmm so please do know that mm-hmm I'll be the oil oh yeah I had that come yeah I did have a conversation oh it's like that makes it easier for me as well true you like yeah so that's important to I guess yeah yeah very true yeah that's I see mm-hmm yeah I see you're very brave guy like but you're having that conversation yeah yeah yeah even to you yeah like you got to like step it up yeah yeah yeah but I do tend to try to muster up that energy mm-hmm like often yeah to you ultimately mm-hmm have a better relationship yeah that's good that is very good honestly I respect that like opening up those serious conversation like meetings and everything yeah and and that's not for only for you right for for the team yeah for the bigger goals for the whole project to work yeah that's good but it's not something that like for you after hearing that I don't know if that's gonna help right for the yeah it wasn't like some like one tip is like those things right yeah yeah I see mm-hmm so I guess it's just you're you're just mature I don't know about that I don't know about that it's just ultimately that's the that's the better option for me like ultimately yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah okay different um maybe and this episode but yeah different question I have yeah should I let's do all the luck okay okay all right okay thanks for sending guys thank you bye bye
