MINISTERING TO THE LORD (HOW TO MAKE THE GOD-HEAD WELCOME IN YOUR HOUSE)
from DEPTHS OF THE SPIRIT PODCAST

Pastor Brown Karinga emphasizes that spiritual growth begins with a deep, intentional relationship with God through the Word of God. He teaches that ministering to the Lord is not just about service, but about abiding—remaining in prayer and presence—highlighting Mary’s example over Martha’s busyness. The Word of God is the first and essential encounter in the Godhead, shaping how deeply one knows God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. True intimacy requires obedience, meditation, and delight in Scripture. The Holy Spirit is welcomed through humility, jealousy, purity, and surrender, with abiding being the most vital spiritual discipline. Pastor stresses that prayer is not ritual but revelation, and that thanksgiving, daily meditation, and personal devotion are non-negotiable. He concludes by affirming that the journey to spiritual maturity begins with choosing to stay with God, not just serve Him. This teaching calls believers to prioritize quiet, faithful abiding over activity, leading to deeper revelation, obedience, and a life transformed by divine presence.
Debs of the Spirit, we have read about revivals, we have had about revivals, but what will
my children know about God for me?
A canyon revival hub dedicated to ignite a new fire through the knowledge of God, prayer
and worship.
What will my children know about God from this generation?
We shall live, we shall live in the prize and God is found by this generation.
Reeling the length, the heights, the depths and the width of the Word of God.
And my generation is preparing for a lot of fire.
My generation is preparing for that manuscript in God that has not been scripted.
And we are going to live until we find God in our generation.
Now bringing the Word of God, Pastor Brown Karinga.
So all I wanted to say is that prayer is not complicated, prayer is a revelation.
And when the disciples were looking at Jesus praying, they saw this man praying with so
much passion, with so much impact in Hebrews chapter 5 verse 7, it says that in the days
of his flesh Christ let up prayers with loud groaning and with painful tears and to him
who was able to save him from death and he was handling that he feared the Lord.
So they saw the prayer life of this man and they wondered how sweet his prayer life was.
So without revelation there is no sweetness of prayer.
You will just be performing religious duty, as you have seen today the first thing the
Holy Spirit has led us to do is to thank him.
Just to give him thanks, the Bible says, "Enter with a password thank you, someone hundred
verse well.
Enter his course with thanksgiving and his gates with praise.
And do that, just do that, I want you to apply this lesson tomorrow.
Tomorrow do a thanksgiving festival for yourself.
I want you to shout thank you, just count things, just look at things and tell Jesus thank
you.
Just look at things and look and remind the Lord in fact write him a list.
This one is an assignment for each and every one of you.
Write him a list, remind him and see out to Tony.
Thank you for letting me get born.
Start quinzio to Tony, remember all those times probably you would have died, yet you
still remain alive, yet you escaped somehow.
Remember all those mistakes you you would have made.
Remember what you or Kato Likon and Agufanya done black in the Mungualikushikilia, remember
even while you're in sin the Bible says that he loved you fast, while we were still
sin as yet he still died for you.
Kwanini Hatuna, why don't we have reasons to give God things.
I told you the other day intimacy is not built in tongues, it is built in understanding because
revelation comes in understanding.
You need to know how to give God things, you need to know how to give him thanks because
without thanksgiving the Bible tells you there is no entering.
And when you sing I enter the glory of holy, even when you sing that song.
The password is not the song, the password is thanksgiving and praise.
The password is thanksgiving and praise.
So I just want to understand this, we are slowly getting into with Christ in the School
of Prayer.
Let's look at him, how he prayed, this is not what I want to talk about, just a small
something that the Lord has put in my heart.
When we began this prayer I wanted to know that the Bible says that ends the boy Samuel
minister to the Lord, what is the meaning of the word minister?
And Samuel minister to the Lord, I want us to go to that place.
So that we understand why we give thanks, first Samuel chapter 3, first Samuel, first
Samuel chapter 3, then we continue praying, I want you guys to enjoy prayer, let me see
some feedback.
That is why it is important to pray with prayer.
Are you guys enjoying prayer?
When you know something, when you know something.
Now the Bible says in first Samuel chapter 3 and the boy Samuel minister to the Lord
before Eli and the boy Samuel minister to the Lord before Eli and the boy Samuel minister
to the Lord before Eli, what is the meaning of ministry to the Lord?
Because we said somebody minister to the Lord, we say these things yet we do not understand
and the boy Samuel minister unto the Lord.
What does that mean?
Thank you Jesus, Oh Jesus is good, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus.
Now because the Lord has led me on this side to just teach you what does it mean to minister
to the Lord.
I hope you have your notebook with you because I may not repeat this, I may not do this
or teach this again.
What is the meaning of minister to the Lord?
First Samuel chapter 3 verse 1 and the boy Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli
and another portion of scripture in Acts chapter 13 verse 2, Acts chapter 13 verse 2.
The Bible says while they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said
separated now for me, Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them.
Now KJV says it in a very beautiful way.
In Acts chapter 13 and verse 2, Acts chapter 13, Acts chapter 13 and verse 2, these were
the Bible says as they ministered to the Lord and fasted the Holy Ghost said, what does
this ministering to the Lord mean, isn't this beautiful, now oh thank you, thank you, thank
you Jesus.
Now they were ministering to the Lord came from the Old Testament, I will give you the original
Hebrew words and the Greek words that originated, that this word originated from, but it came
from the action of the Levites serving in the house of God.
So the priests and Levites were assigned practical duties such as streaming, Kwasapo, Kusafisha,
these were acts of the ministry in the house of God.
As you can see there's all these people who served in the house of God who are given
one name, ministers, many of us carry the name minister, but we are not ministers.
All we do is sing, let me tell you who a minister is.
Now the first word I want us to look at is the word Sharath, S-H-A-R-A-T-H, somebody
helped me write that in the notes, Sharath, S-H-A-R-A-T-H, that is Sharath.
The word Sharath means to attend to, to minister and to, to serve or to wait on, I will repeat
that, to attend to, to minister and to, to serve or to wait on.
However, now in the book of Psalms, if you want to look at the book of Psalms, you see
the another dimension of the minister, ministry and to the Lord, someone 34 was one.
The Bible says praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who minister by night in the house
of the Lord, who minister by night in the house of the Lord, someone 35 was two, praise the
name of the Lord, praise him, you servants of the Lord, you who minister in the house of
the Lord, in the courts of the house of the Lord, here the word minister is translated from
the Hebrew word Ahmad, M-A-M-A-D, is somebody listening to me, is somebody following.
So the first word with Sharath, Sharath means to attend to, to minister and to, to serve
or to wait, the second one is a word Ahmad, Ahmad means to stand, or to abide, or to continue,
or to remain, or to tari, or to stay up.
So anytime you're staying up at night, you ministering to the Lord, who come, Lord Jesus,
me, me, my heart is blowing up right now. You wonder why the Bible says in Acts chapter
2, now the Lord is opening a lot of things up for me. I love this, I love this, I don't
know that you guys will, today I can teach up to 12, see the secure moment.
Now the Bible says in Acts chapter 2, and when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they
were all assembled together in one place. When suddenly they came a sound of rushing,
mighty rushing wind. Now before that, Acts chapter 1 verse 8, the Bible says, "But you shall
receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witness unto me
and to Judea and Samaria and to the ends of this world." But then the Bible says that
tari in Jerusalem until you're in Jude with power. Now that word tari is the
'Ama' means to be the Lord until you are indeed with power. Come on, it's somebody getting something today. Today I'm crazy.
Today the word of God Jeremiah says the word of God was like fire burning up in my bones. Then he says the word of the Lord is like 'Hama' crushing my bones. Let me tell you guys today.
I didn't know this guys. So the word 'Ama' means to stand. So when the Lord says abide in me and I will abide in you. What he means is minister to me.
Minister Ahmad minister to me. So anytime you decide to abide, to stay, to wait. What you're doing is that you are amending. That means you're ministering to the Lord. Look 24 was 49.
That means continue ministering to the Lord. Before you minister to people, Ahmad God minister to the Lord. The minister to the Lord will end you with power to minister to people. Can I repeat that?
The ministering unto the Lord Ahmad will end you with power to be able to minister to people. That means he's saying in Acts 24 was 49. I think that abide.
Wait Ahmad to stand, to abide, to continue in prayer. So the act of continuing in prayer. Then I was saying he asked and you shall receive knock at the door shall be open until you seek and you shall find. That is not the original Greek translation.
The original Greek says keep on asking and you shall receive. Keep on knocking and the door shall be open until you keep on sitting and you shall find.
So whoever keeps on asking and you shall receive. So whoever keeps on seeking shall find. So whoever keeps on knocking. If somebody does not open the door, you when you tarry in knocking, what you're doing is your ministering.
If somebody is getting something new, so continuing in prayer. And the Bible says and they continued in prayer. So the church of Acts, the New Testament church was a church of Ahmad.
It was a church that knew how to minister to the Lord and you realize that Moses that that somebody did not beg God to speak why because someone ministered to the Lord.
He did not beg God to speak, oh Lord I want to hear your voice. He did not beg God for an encounter and encounter comes to him who continues to tarry.
An encounter comes to him who continues to Ahmad. Now you guys, yes, someone did not beg God for an encounter.
Someone did not beg God for an encounter. The disciples did not beg God for pentacles. They were told to wait, not beg.
That means the more you beg, it is proof that you do not know how to Ahmad to minister to the Lord.
I will repeat the meaning of the word Ahmad to stand, to abide, to continue, to remain, to tarry, to stay up.
There are times when our minister to the Lord simply means to stand, to abide, to continue, to remain, to tarry, to stand, to just stay up at night in his presence. That is ministering to the Lord.
This is the question Jesus asked the disciples, "Could you not stay awake for just one hour?"
What he was saying, "Could you not minister to the Lord for just one hour?"
He was asking the disciples, "Guys, can you not minister to the Lord for one hour?"
For just one hour, so prayer is ministering to the Lord.
More than just receiving prayer is giving your ministering to the Lord.
So here's the first meaning of the ministry of ministering to the Lord, Sharath, carries the meaning of waiting.
The first meaning of the word waiting on the Lord which is Sharath means waiting in a sense of a waiter serving someone.
That is the serving attitude. So as you stand in pressing praises in church, you're serving the Lord, you're ministering to the Lord.
As you wash chairs in church, you're ministering to the Lord.
As though that is the first meaning, a mad means to wait on in a sense of a watchman staying awake.
A watchman staying awake or someone staying or abiding in his presence.
So there are two definitions of ministering to the Lord. One is serving him with actions like a waiter does, serving him.
The second one is waiting, standing, tearing, abiding, standing up, staying up. Oh, come on, guys.
I will stand upon my watch and I will watch to see what the Lord will say to me and what I will respond when he asks.
If we land them out of ministering unto the Lord, we won't have to beg for many of the things that we believe.
Man is stirring to the Lord. Oh, Jesus. Help us. Help us, Jesus.
So guys, can I show you something?
Let's go to the book of Luke. The book of Luke, this is not what I want to speak about.
The book of Luke. Oh, look, is it look 749? Oh, help us, Jesus, today.
Thank you for all who are joining. We thank the Lord for you.
Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Look 1042. Look 1042. What is ministering to the Lord?
Look 1042.
No, look 10, let's start from. Look 10, let's start from verse 38. Look 10 from verse 38. This was the Bible says.
Now while they were on their way, it occurred that Jesus entered a certain village and a woman named Martha received and welcomed him to her house.
This is what everybody does when the Holy Spirit is coming. You welcome him. You are welcome in this place.
When he wants to encounter you, you welcome him. But now how you welcome a guest is one thing.
How you entertain a guest is what makes him remain.
How you welcome a guest allows him to come in.
That is why I have told you to give thanks to the members and to his kids.
But how you entertain a guest, how you honor a guest, how you treat the guest.
Now what? They are guests we simply chase away by denying them food.
They are guests that we chase away by denying them attention.
They are guests that we chase away by the attitudes of our heart.
They are guests that we chase away by giving them a lot of work.
We know how to chase away guests, but hardly do we know how to keep guests.
So how you entertain a guest determines how long the guest will stay.
Today I am excited. I am being taught. I am also writing notes.
That is why John chapter 14 verse 21, the Bible says,
"The person who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who truly loves me
and who so ever really loves me will be loved by my father."
Do you see? So if you love Jesus, which is the word of God, can I show you that?
We are coming back to my great mother. If you love Jesus, which is the word of God.
And if the Bible says, "I have hidden your word in my heart
that I may not sin against you." So you delight in the word of God,
the Bible says in some chapter 1 verse 2, but their delight is in the law of the Lord.
On the law of the Lord, they meditate on it day and night.
They shall be like a tree planted by the water side, which bears food in season.
John chapter 1 verse 8, "This words of this covenant shall not leave my mouth.
I shall, I will meditate on them day and night.
That I may be careful to do all that is written within and my ways will be successful."
So, how do you entertain Jesus in you?
How do you entertain the word of God?
Number one, through obedience.
Number two, you entertain the word of God.
You entertain Jesus in you.
Through meditation in the word.
Then I was as if you love me, you obey me.
If you obey me, then you love me.
Number two, through meditation.
That means keeping his word in your heart.
Is it that beautiful?
Number three, through delighting.
If you delight in the word of the Lord,
that means everything that you speak is the word of the Lord.
Number four, the Lord is just teaching me today.
Ah, today is a teaching race, guys.
Today, today, today, are we writing?
Allow me to write, so I will be a little bit slow.
I will be a little bit slow, but the Lord will help us.
So, Jesus is teaching us how to host God.
Jesus is teaching us how to host God.
Now, the first way to host God is through obedience.
Obedience.
That is John, chapter 14, and verse 21.
John 14, 21.
This is what he says.
John 14, 21.
He says, if a person has my commandments.
If a person has my commandments.
Number two way to entertain Jesus in you, like a guest.
So that he becomes a permanent person.
The first way is obedience.
The second way is keeping the word of God.
The word of God.
I'm also learning today.
Keeping the word of God in your heart.
That is Psalm 119.
And verse 11, how can I young man keep his whisperer
by living according to the word of the Lord?
I have hidden your word in my heart that I may not sin against you.
Also, you see that if anyone has my commandments.
If anyone has my commandments.
So, if you keep the word of God at the center of your heart,
this means that you are entertaining the guest of the person of God.
Call the word of God.
To be I'm enjoying, I'm enjoying this Bible study guys.
To be I'm not in a hurry.
So the first way is obedience.
The second way is keeping the word of God in your heart.
Number three is through meditation.
Meditation.
Now you go to some, you go to some, some chapter 1 and verse 2.
The Bible says, but he's delight.
So meditation is delighting in the word of God.
The meditation is delighting.
Today we are doing, today I'm a teacher, I'm not preaching.
Today I'm a teacher.
Meditating is delighting in the word of God.
Meditation is delighting in the word of God.
Meditating is like chewing, chewing food.
When you chew food, you turn food to absorb its full nutrients.
That is why when I'm teaching people Bible study, I tell them if it's either you studying thematically
or you stay on a certain scripture until it opens itself up.
Someone in 1913, they're breaking forth of your word, releases light.
And brings understanding to the simple.
Somebody, somebody straight as I think it was a famous status today.
I think that that has sent her a message.
She said that simplicity and light cannot abide in the simplest.
I love that, guys.
Today I'm excited.
Today I'm excited.
So number one way to entertain the person of the word of God.
So the first person you encounter in the Godhead is the person of the word of God.
That is why when you are evangelized too, many people desire to meet the Holy Spirit first.
Many people desire to meet Godhead or Naninamongo also.
But the first person of the Godhead you encounter is the word of God.
Why the Bible says he is the way, the truth and the life.
No one goes to the Father except through him.
Beautiful.
Now, but he's delight and his desire.
Delight and desire are in the love of the Lord.
On that look, they meditate day and night until you come to that point,
where every single day, every single night, 24/7,
all that is in your brain and in your heart is the word of God.
The word of God.
How can a young man keep his respect?
You go to the beginning.
In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
Nothing would have been made except by him.
Without him, nothing would have been made that was made.
In him was the life and the life was the light of man.
And the light showing the darkness and the darkness could not comprehend it.
And you finished that, those fast six verses.
And then you said, "Dow, there was a man called John.
I am having a challenge by the day.
I'm excited.
Today my heart is on fire."
If people can memorize a whole Quran, why can't I come and say,
"Now today we are reading Ephesians."
And I start from Ephesians 1 to Ephesians 6 without reading.
That means I can read my Bible without today's today.
Please, please confirm that you can hear me.
Please confirm that you can hear me.
Please confirm, please confirm, please confirm.
Thank you, Jesus.
So intimacy is built on the Word of God.
It's built basically on the Word of God.
So the first person you encounter is a person of the Word of God.
And you need to make sure you understand this person of the Word of God
because he will determine how far in God you will go.
Remember, he's the way.
He will determine how close that to God you will get.
The person of the Word of God.
He's the one, can I show you there is a scripture?
Oh, today Jesus is just teaching me.
Thank you, Jesus.
Look at this.
Matthew 11, verse 27.
Let me show you.
It is the person of the Word of God that will determine how far you're going to go into God.
Matthew 11, 27.
Matthew 11, 27.
Matthew 11, 27.
Somebody please post it out for me.
Somebody please help me post it.
Matthew 11, 27.
This is what the Bible says.
All things have been entrusted and delivered to me by my Father.
That is Jesus speaking.
And no one fully knows or accurately understands the Son except the Father.
And no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, understand this, accept the Son.
And anyone to whom the Son deliberately wins to make Him known.
Oh, Jesus, I am.
Guys, I'm not okay today.
I am not okay today.
Have you guys seen what I'm seeing?
No one, all things have been entrusted and delivered to me by my Father.
And no one fully knows and accurately understands my Father, the Father except.
No one truly understands the Son except the Father.
And no one truly knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son.
Now, there are two people who will understand the Father.
The first person is the Son who is the Word of God.
And anyone to whom the Word of God deliberately wins to make Him known.
Guys, I am not okay today.
I am not okay.
So the Word of God will determine how deep you will go in God.
The Word of God will determine how high and encounters you will go with God.
The Word of God will determine it is that it is the first person you will ever meet in the Godhead.
If you don't understand Him, you will not understand the Holy Spirit.
Because the Holy Spirit, the Bible calls Him a paracletus, a los paracletus.
That means the helper of the same kind.
So if you do not, if you understand the Word, you will understand the Spirit.
Ah, Jesus, Jesus, jamming.
Now, I said that the first person you understand is the Word of God.
The second person you understand is the Holy Spirit, who is the helper,
even of the understanding of the Word.
Because he is called the Spirit of Christ.
He is called the Spirit of Christ.
Now, accept you, understand the Word of God, you will not understand the person of the Holy Spirit
because they are of the same kind.
I will not leave you as orphans.
Let today, today.
Today, today, today is today.
Today, we are today.
John 14, 18.
John 14, 18.
John 14, 18.
I will come back to you.
one that I will send you a helper okay verse 15 if you really love me and you
keep my commandments do you see that so the first person you need to love is the
word of God that is the first person verse 15 chapter 14 verse 15 of John if
you really love me and you keep my commandments I will ask the father and he will
give you another comforter another is alos parapletus means helper of the same
kind so he's the same kind he's the same material as the word of God so once
you understand the word of God you can understand how to build your intimacy
and relationship with the Holy Spirit so it is the word of God that determines
how far you go in God are we following this now look look look hey
shalithakusia na tunday contest yeah now let me show you that the word and the
spirit are one Isaiah 59 verse 21 the Lord said this is my agreement with
these people my spirit and my what I will give you that I will give you will
never leave you and your grandchildren forever that is Isaiah 59 verse 29
verse 21 Isaiah 59 Isaiah 59 the Bible says thank you Jesus as for me this is my
covenant my spirit who is upon you and who writes the law of God inwardly in
your hearts and my words which I have put in your mouth will never depart
out of your mouth or out of the mouth of your spiritual children and out of
your mouth of your children's children therefore the Lord says KJV says it
better KJV says please somebody post KJV for me that is Isaiah 59 21 I
Isaiah 59 21 I Isaiah 59 21 thank you Jesus this is what the Bible says as for me
my covenant is with them the Lord the sadas is the Lord my spirit which is
upon you and my words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your
mouth so both the spirit and the word will not depart both the spirit and the
word both the spirit and the word both the spirit and the word so these are
help us of the same kind so let me start so how do you entertain the guest
called the word of God then we will go to the Holy Spirit and now we will go to
the revelation of the Father John chapter 14 and then we will go back to Mary and
Martha and conclude with the ministry ministering unto the Lord John chapter
14 verse 21 if a person really loves my commandments and keeps them this is a
person who really loves me okay so the first way you entertain the guest of the
word of God is by obedience the second one is by keeping the word of God in your
heart the third one is by meditating or delighting the one that is some one
verse one and Joshua one verse eight the fourth way is some is Proverbs
chapter 20 Proverbs chapter 20 is it chapter 20 oh thank you Jesus do not let
this depart from your eyes do not let these words depart from your eyes that is
Proverbs chapter 4 verse 21 Proverbs chapter 4 verse 21 the Bible says my son
attend to my words you need to know how to attend to the guest called the word
of God the Father is by attending attending to the word means giving the word
at most attention that is why the Bible says that the word is the word is more
demanding than a girlfriend the word demands attention morning all day and
all night you shall meditate on the word all day and all night that is how to
entertain the person of the of God called the word of God
Allah Allah Allah attending to the word of God attend to my words consent and
submit that is obedience or submit good now let them not depart from your sight
keep them at the center of your heart we look at keeping them at the center
of your heart that is some Proverbs thank you Jesus today I'm learning I'm
learning with you guys I'm not teaching thank you Jesus hey for they are
life to them that find them and healing to the health of their flesh keep and
guard your heart with all vigilance above all things for out of it shall flow
all the issues of life you see that so the first way is through obedience the
second way is through keeping the word of God in your heart the third way is
through meditation the fourth is through attending to the word of God that is
Proverbs chapter four and verse 20 ah Jesus my heart is warmed okay let's go
back now to John we've learned how to entertain the person of God called the
word of God now let's go back to John chapter 14 now he says if you love me if
you have anyone has my commandments and keeps them where do you keep those
commandments in your heart is the one who loves me and who's whoever really
loves me will be loved by my father too so the person who falls in love with
the word of God this is the this is the way the father falls in love with you and
my father will love you and I too will love him and I will show refill
manifest myself to him I will let myself Matthew we read from Matthew that I
will I will let myself be clearly that nobody knows the father except the
son nobody knows the son except the father and who so far the son will so how
does the son will to make the father known through obedience when he falls in
love with you when he falls in love with you because you fall in love with him
he opens himself up he opens himself up I'm showing you guys the way to
revelation the way to know the father that the Bible says that I may know him
how do you know him by first knowing the person of the word called the
person of the word Jesus in the beginning was the word and the word was
God in the word was God in he was alive in that life was the light of men how
can you walk on that path how can you walk when you don't know the ways of the
spirit how can you walk without light though your what is the light on to my
path and the lamp on my feet come on guys who I it is comes and they were like
honey in my mouth so that is how to attend to the person of the word how do you
attend to the person of the spirit so now you entertain another guest called the
Holy Spirit this is the word
oh Jesus wow are you guys excited
oh this is beautiful now the first way to entertain the Holy Spirit is to be
drunk with him always drink always be influenced now look at Luke chapter 4
verse 1 number 1 the first way to entertain the Holy Spirit is to be drunk drunk
with him what is the meaning of being drunk with him look at Luke chapter 4 and
fast 1 the Bible says please the remind me to go back to Luke chapter 11
before we finish the Bible says that then Jesus full of and control being drunk
means being full of and controlled the Bible says to be drunk with wine wearing
me excess white because wine controls you be full of and control by the Holy
spirit that is Ephesians chapter 5 and verse 18 and look chapter 4 verse 1 the
other one is to be led by the Holy Spirit that is the meaning of being drunk be
obsessed with him be obsessed be obsessed be obsessed for the person of the
Holy Spirit guys I'm excited today today I am not holding my peace today I've
just received all this revelation I must repeat it and listen to it and
listen and rewrite notes guys today I'm not the one teaching so please don't
mistake it I am not the one teaching I am not I am not the one teaching how
because every time you see a man who is influenced now they're out they're
the word for the meaning of being drunk with the Holy Spirit is being influenced
that is what the Bible says as many as are led by the Spirit of God they are
the sons of God as many as are drunk with the Holy Spirit they are the sons of
God be drunk be obsessed what is the meaning of obsession look at James
James chapter 4.
He said, "Guys, I am not okay. I am not okay."
James chapter 4 verse 5, "Or do you suppose that the scripture is speaking to no purpose when it says that the Spirit whom he has cost to dwell in us.
Yance over us and he yance for us to he yance for the Spirit to be welcome with a jealous love. How does he love to be welcome?"
Number 2, to be welcome with a jealous love.
Be welcome with a jealous love.
This is beautiful.
How do you entertain the person of the Holy Spirit?
Number 1 is being drunk with him, being obsessed with him. The second one is being welcome with a jealous love.
God him. God him like you would God the most prized possession. God. God your heart and God him. God his house.
Keep his house clean. Number 3, keep his house clean.
That is when you see that the Bible says, "God your heart with all diligence. God your heart."
So he does not stay where in a place of cleanliness.
Now, welcome him with a jealous love and sure everything is clean. He enjoys cleanliness.
How else do you entertain the Holy Spirit? This one is very important through weakness.
Now, what is weakness? Romance? Supply 8 was 28.
"For we do not know how to play. Always sit at the driver. Always sit at the passenger seat. Get out of the driver's seat.
Always sit at the passenger seat and tell him, "I do not know how to do this." That is the language of a person who wants to be led.
The Holy Spirit is never led. He leads.
Wickedness and foolishness. The Bible says that he chose the foolish things of the world to shim the wise.
So always being weak always seems foolish. I don't know God. See Confundisha.
He is the Spirit of the world. Through weakness, what is weakness? Look at verse 6.
The Bible says that he gives more and more grace. Power of the Holy Spirit to meet every evil tendency among others fully.
And that is why he says God sets himself against the proud and the hotly. But he gives grace to the humble and the lowly.
So that is James chapter 4. And verse 6. Humility. This weakness is humility equals to humility.
The Bible says, "Humble yourself before the Lord. He will lift you up." That he desires.
How do you call this? Humble. Humble. Where there is pride. He cannot be entertained.
So how do you host the person of the Holy Spirit? How do you entertain him?
Praying in the Spirit. Number 5. Jude 1.8. You entertain him through praying in the Spirit.
You are speaking to him in a language that he understands. It's not that he does not understand English.
But that language only you and him. In fact, you cannot understand your Spirit communicates with him.
And it prays according to his will to the will of the Father.
Ah ha. Habakkua weakness and humility accept to be taught because he is a teacher. There is no need of inviting a teacher if you don't want to be taught.
Accept to be taught. Today I am being taught while I am teaching you. This is interesting.
Holy Spirit is there near the way we can entertain you. Is there near the way we can entertain you? Thank you Jesus.
Thank you. Are we learning something today? He desires to be welcomed with a jealous love.
So they have a way to entertain the Holy Spirit. Number 6. I told you there are four things that you can do to the Holy Spirit.
Number 2. You can reject him. Number 3. You can blaspheme him. Number 4. You can accept him. You can accept him.
Number 5. You can grieve him. You can grieve him. That means there is an action when we said keep your house clean.
It is the action of holiness without which the Bible says blessed are those who are the blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see the Lord.
Okay that is beautiful. Let's stop at number 5 for today. Then how do you entertain the person of the Father?
The person of the Father. How do you entertain? I want to only give one way here. Just one way.
How do you entertain the person of the Father? The sacrifice of the Lord is a broken and a contract spirit that which he cannot ignore.
Number 1. Brokenness and contractness. I did teach on the meaning of this. Brokenness that is some.
Chapter 51. Is it 51 verse 17? That is the sacrifice. The Bible God has not changed.
He is the same God of the Old Testament. He has not changed. He desires sacrifice. But that sacrifice.
Number 1. Is a sacrifice of a broken heart. The second sacrifice that entertains him is a sacrifice of the body.
Romans 12 verse 1. I beseech thee therefore brethren to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice.
Sacrificial bodies. You entertain him through consecration in other words.
The Bible says that in a master's house they are vessels of many kind. But only the vessels that are consecrated are entertaining.
You entertain him through consecration. When he sees consecration he's drawn to you.
Allah Sokhamroko Celia Tullica. In a master's house the Bible says that for the foundation of the Lord stands sure that the Lord knows them that he is and let everybody who names him of the Lord depart from inequity.
For in a master's house they are vessels of many kind. Some of silver, some of wood, some of other and some of clay.
But if a person, if a man consecrates himself, he makes himself a vessel of feet for the master's use.
A vessel of feet, yet you are now prepared to do unto every good work.
Romans 12 verse 1. And 2nd Timothy 219 and 20.
Ah, there is nothing better than being taught of God. By being taught by Him.
Ah, thank you Jesus.
Can we just say thank you to the Lord for that revelation today. Now you know how to host the person of the Word of God.
And without which the Word of God you cannot go fine to God. The first person you will encounter in this journey.
The Bible says, "Come unto me only you, Isaiah 55, who hunger and thirst, come drink and eat, come buy milk and wine without price."
Only with the price of self-sarrender. Self-sarrender, that is the third way to entertain the Father.
So, surrender, that is Isaiah 55 verse 1 and 2. Self-sarrender, I empty myself that you may feel me.
So now you know that the first person you need to entertain in your life is a person of the Word of God.
And attend Him, delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you other desires.
The other way to entertain the Father is through child-likeness. Child-likeness.
The Bible says that this thing don't belongs to such what total because these children do not question orders.
They are the other way to entertain the Father is through faith.
Ah guys, today is that day. Today is that faith. Hebrews 11, verse 6, "Without faith it is impossible to please God."
'Ah, ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya.'
'Me mi si ko sao, me mi si ko sao, I need to recover.'
The Bible says that by faith, ae bol offered to God a more excellent sacrifice that came.
'By faith, by faith.'
'Ohh.'
The Bible says, 'But without faith, it is impossible to please him.'
'For he who comes to God must believe that he is, that he is a reward of them that diligently seeking him.'
'Diligently seeking him.'
'Diligently seeking him.'
The other way to entertain the person of God, the father, is through an adulterated obedience.
First John, chapter 5 verse 3.
The Bible says, 'If this, for this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and he's commanded, his commandments are not bad answer.'
His commandments are not bad answer.
'Ah, isn't this beautiful?' When I talked about brokenness and contriteness, look at Isaiah 66 verse 2.
'For all those things my hand has made, and all things exist, this is the Lord.'
'But on this one will I look, on him who has a poor and a contrite spirit, who tramples at my wife.'
Look at that one.
He also says, 'The other thing that pleases Jesus is the person who tramples at his wife.'
Ah, Isaiah 66 verse 2.
[Laughs]
'Oh, salanda kositra kosipo oishana saliato sebra kata.'
[Laughs]
Romans 8 verse 8.
That means the other way to please God is by walking in the spirit.
Number 7.
Walking in the spirit.
That is Romans 8 verse 8.
'Mabosas then, 'This those who are in the flesh cannot please God.'
Romans 8 verse 8.
'Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.'
'Oh, salam brakaso perofianas kato li kata.'
Guys.
[Laughs]
'Wacheni nyoacheni ni'olio.'
'Wacheni nyoacheni ni'olio.'
Now, we want to thank God.
Before, before, before I complete, before I complete this, I promise to go back to Luke 11, guys.
Before I complete this, I promise to go back to Luke 11.
Just give me a minute.
Luke 11.
Look, look, look 10.
Look 10, sorry.
Look 10 verse 38.
The Bible says now, 'Now while they were on their way, it occurred that Jesus entered a certain village.'
'And a woman named Martha received and welcomed him into a house.'
'Now, this is where I was teaching about how to welcome.'
[Laughs]
'The world, how to welcome the Holy Spirit, how to welcome the Father.'
And she said, she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord's feet, listening to his teaching.
Now, according to the two definitions we've had of ministering to the Lord,
there is something that Martha did, the Bible says, 'But Martha was overly occupied and too busy and distracted with much serving.'
And she came up to him and said, 'Lord, is it nothing that you, to you, that my sister has left me to Savalon?
Tell her then to help me, to lend me a hand and do that part with me.'
But the Lord replied to her by saying, 'Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things.
There is need of only one but a few things. Mary has chosen that good portion, which will not be taken away from her.'
Now, we started by speaking about two types of, towards that mean ministering to the Lord.
The first one was Sharath, which means to attend to. So Martha was Sharathing.
But Mary was amadding, that means amad, meaning she was tearing, she was remaining, she was continuing, she was abiding, she was staying up.
To listen to Jesus, what now Jesus gives you the type of ministering to him that he has priority with.
It is not Sharath, it is not singing in church, it is not wiping chairs, if there is no amad, they cannot be Sharath.
If there is no tearing, if there is no staying with him all night, if there is no weight upon the Lord's that you may be redeemed and put on with new strength, then you may mount on wings like eagles.
Then you cannot stand on that altar. The Bible says that Mary has chosen that good part. So that good part is called amad, amad, amad, amad.
So Jesus is telling you his priority. Even if you do not, I am not saying do not serve in church, I am not saying do not serve the poor and the weak and the widows, I am not saying do not do that.
But the apostles knew the secret and said we shall give ourselves the ministry of prayer and the one.
They knew that amad is the most important part. Mary has chosen that good part and that part will not be taken away from her.
Can you today choose that good part? Can you choose that good part? Can you choose that good part today? Can you tell the Holy Spirit thank you for revealing your present to me?
Thank you for teaching me how to welcome the One of God. Help me be your beauty and tence of me to the world. Help me keep the word in my heart.
Give me that desire and delight for the world. Help me attend to your heart. Let me give you that attention at every point in time.
And now Holy Spirit, help me. I need a desire to be drunk of you. You can meet your microphone. I desire to be drunk with you. I desire to be controlled and full of you and influenced by you.
I welcome you with a jealous love. I keep, I will keep this house clean. Oh, I will remain humble. Oh, I will always pray in the Spirit and sing joyful songs in the Spirit.
Somebody is praying. Somebody has received a revelation today. Oh, my heart will be broken and contrite. Oh, I offer my body as a sacrifice. I offer my members as instruments unto righteousness.
Oh, I surrender my life. Oh, I accept to be childlike. Oh, I accept to be and to walk with you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus.

Podcast Summary
Key Points:
Ministering to the Lord involves both serving (Sharath) and abiding (Ahmad), with abiding—staying in prayer and presence—being essential for spiritual growth and divine encounter.
The Word of God is the first person encountered in the Godhead, and understanding it is crucial for deepening intimacy with God and the Holy Spirit.
True intimacy with God is built on obedience, meditation, delight, and constant attention to Scripture, not just ritualistic practices.
The Holy Spirit is entertained through being "drunk" with Him (fully influenced), welcoming Him with jealous love, humility, and purity, and through surrender and consecration.
Jesus’ priority in ministry is abiding—like Mary, who stayed with Him in quiet listening—over busy serving, which can distract from true spiritual connection.
Without a broken, contrite heart and sacrificial obedience, one cannot truly please God or experience deep spiritual revelation.
The Father is most pleased by childlike faith, humility, and walking in the Spirit, not by legalism or self-effort.
Prayer and worship are acts of ministry, and regular thanksgiving, meditation, and personal devotion are foundational to receiving divine revelation.
Summary:

Thanksgiving is essential because the Bible says there is no entering into God’s presence without it. It opens the door to spiritual connection and reveals the sweetness of prayer, replacing religious duty with heartfelt devotion.
The Word of God is the first person we meet in the Godhead. Understanding and meditating on it deepens our intimacy with God and enables us to understand both the Holy Spirit and the Father.
Being 'drunk with the Holy Spirit' means being fully influenced, controlled, and filled by Him. It reflects a state of obsession and dependence, where the believer is led by the Spirit and not by their own will.
We entertain the Holy Spirit by being drunk with Him, welcoming Him with a jealous love, keeping our hearts clean, being humble and weak, and praying in the Spirit. These actions show a deep, intentional relationship with Him.
Obedience is the foundation of loving God. When we keep His commandments, we show love for Him, and in return, God loves us and reveals Himself to us more fully.
