Michigan Steals The Weekend | Week 1 Recap | The BFW Show 9.5.26

The Brandon Walker College Football Show delivers a scathing critique of the Michigan-Western Michigan game, which ended with a controversial overtime play that fans and analysts believe was unfairly allowed by officials. The host, Brandon Walker, condemns the officiating as a "heinous robbery," arguing that the result was manipulated and that the officials ignored multiple infractions like a face mask and roughing the punter. This incident is framed as a breach of integrity in college football, with Walker calling for the immediate dismissal of the officials and a formal review of the game’s outcome. The show contrasts this with positive performances from teams like LSU and Oregon, where LSU's dominant 31-3 halftime lead against Clemson signals a new era of national title contention. Oregon's comeback win over Boise State is praised as a test of resilience, with the defensive line’s exposure highlighted as a sign of growth. Other standout moments include Josh Hoover’s gritty debut and Eric Winters’ game-winning tackle, both celebrated as acts of excellence. The episode also critiques the hypocrisy of fans who champion underdogs while dismissing legitimate competition. Ultimately, the show urges accountability, calls for systemic reform, and emphasizes that college football must uphold its standards to maintain credibility. The tone is passionate and critical, reflecting deep frustration over what is perceived as a collapse of fairness and sportsmanship.

It doesn't pay to be a good program, to be a hard-working Mac team. If you've got Big Tim, officials in your pocket. If you've got the ability to cheat the system at every turn, you may win in major college football. And that is what has happened tonight. It is our week one recap. I am Brandon Walker. This is the Brandon Walker College Football Show. We've got a full couple of hours here of recaps, but we must start with the headlining game tonight. It is Michigan and Western Michigan. For all intents and purposes, I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon Walker. I'm Brandon again. Bryce Underwood is one of the biggest wastes of $12 million you will ever see. Yeah. Have you ever seen a greater waste of even $6 million? No, I can't say that I have. I can't say that I have. And, and I want to put the look, I'm going to need the whole jug of sweet tea tonight, guys. That's fine too. I don't have enough water in the crib for me a drink tonight. Brian Walker. We watched Western Michigan go into Ann Arbor and beat Michigan. That is the story happened here that, that, that happened. We saw Lance Taylor have absolutely zero, not even an ounce of respect for Bryce Underwood in the Michigan offense. They could have thrown the ball and tried to score a touchdown a few times at the end of the game. No, no, no. It was, we're going to run the ball. We're going to play it safe. We're going to secure the ball, kick field goals. And that's all we need to do to win the game. They didn't even think that they needed a four point lead. They didn't even think that they needed a greater lead. They were like, Hey, go down the field, try your best and go. get them a field goal in a 9-7 game it ain't happening unbelievable what we saw uh it's embarrassing it really is embarrassing i'm sorry for rambling on but we saw it earlier today with boise state and how the country came together for what could have been another near four touchdown underdog winning a game a group of 16 going into a big 10 program and almost stealing one and that unites the country and that brings us all together and this is why they'll always deserve a sea of the tail but yeah i mean it's a heinous robbery a heinous robbery it's just sickening good mark oh my goodness i didn't even realize i've been so knee deep i've been so knee deep in uh the absolute travesty that we just saw in michigan that i didn't realize lsu was just going complete belt to ass on clemson i knew i knew it was like i think it was 17-3 when i started getting in the michigan stuff um but i unbelievable unbelievable and you know if it wasn't so pathetic it'd be awesome because it is a sport where truly anything can happen but anything should be allowed to happen anything should be uh anything should be sanctioned to happen it shouldn't be let's get together figure out a way for michigan to have one more second the anything that should have happened tonight was western michigan winning the game that they rightfully earned and won and they won that game and i know that dave's doing funny tweets right now probably and he sent me a facetime and everything but it doesn't mask the ugly reality that that is a bad football team with a bad quarterback and a coach that doesn't want to be there because that's what i just saw that coach was embarrassed to be part of whatever that fiasco was kyle winningham again good coach good man does not want to be a part of that that he was embarrassed he was absolutely shocked that he had to go shake that man's hand after robbing him in front of everybody we got a lot we got a lot to talk about we got a My God, a week one that didn't look good on paper is just delivering in spades. Now, of course, you've got LSU doing what they're doing. I don't even know what UCLA and Cal are doing right now, Blutman. I really don't. It's 7-7 at the end of the first quarter. Both teams had great opening drives. I'd also like to just add on and say, if you're an AP voter and you put a number next to Michigan's name after this week, please stop watching the sport and get yourself out of here and go do anything else in the world. There's no point to having you in the sport. B-Walk, don't speak for Kyle. I saw it in his face, man. I saw it in his face. I saw him. I mean, you can't hide your eyes, and it was just embarrassing. Michigan is the biggest joke in college football right now. They just got beat by Western Michigan and had to cheat. Literally, we all saw it. I don't know why the officials were in on it with them, but that's what happened. That's just what fucking happened. It's not even like me being a bitch. That's just what happened. The clock hit zeros as Michigan's last attempt failed, and they got together and said, let's give them another chance. And I guess credit to the guy for making a better throw the second time. At least he hit the end zone. I guess credit to the guy who made the catch. I guess credit to all that, but it's hard to credit it when it shouldn't have been allowed. It should not have been allowed. All right, this is the Brandon Walker College Football Show. We are doing our Saturday recap, and I guess we were handed manna from heaven tonight because, my God, what a lead-in. What a lead-in. What a lead-in of one of the great programs in college football needing to be coddled and shepherded to victory when they did not earn it, when they were beaten by Western Michigan. I think the Big Ten office should announce tomorrow that we're acknowledging the true result of that game, the true result being what happened between the zeros, and that would be Western Michigan winning that game 12-7. All right, Bloodman. Can we just talk for a second? I started this day in Bloomington, Indiana. I've been on my couch ever since. My voice might go in and out, but that is, you know, that sucks on a Monday when you're doing your first show, but I believe on a Saturday, it's kind of charming. You should lose your voice on a Saturday if you're a college football guy. So let's just go into it right now. I was going to – I got so many things to talk about. I got takes. I got the three big games I pulled out, and then I got nine takes, and then we got our categories that we're going to do. We're going to do our most impressive team, our most depressing team, our most badass thing of the day, the I told you so, the hand up I was wrong, who won the week, who lost the week, and what are we doing. And I do believe – what are we doing used to be the shit list. I'm trying to do a face term. But what are we doing is going to be pretty easy now because I had a what are you doing based on what the officials did in Oregon today, but now I have a new what are you doing. Anyway, let's go right to it. The number one game of the day before we got that robbery tonight was Oregon. Boise State. And I would like to point out the hypocrisy of college football fans, myself included. I would like to point out the ridiculous nature of the way we react to things. You know, on a day where Texas was killing some poor sap, and on a day Miami killed Stanford yesterday, and on a day where Oklahoma killed some poor sap, and on a day where all these highly ranked teams were just destroying bad teams, we were begging for somebody for matchups. We were begging for. LSU Clemson, which is a blowout. We were begging for Ole Miss Louisville tomorrow and Notre Dame Wisconsin. We were begging for anybody to play. And Oregon, the number two team in the country, did play somebody. They did play Boise State. They played a very well coached, very seasoned, not afraid team, a team who's been here before. And they fell behind 17-7. They were behind the front. And we just destroyed them for it. We killed them. Oh, my God. What an embarrassment. Terrible, embarrassing. You're going out there week one. You suck. I can't believe I picked you to win the national title. I can't believe Brandon Walker picked him to win the national title. They ended up coming back and winning. They won a game against a very good team, a team that they beat by three a couple of years ago and then went on to be 12-0 in the number one seed in the playoff. And now they beat them again 34-27. Very good win. A good comeback. Oregon tested its mettle in the first week. Oregon tested itself. And Oregon passed the test. Dante Moore was tested. Wasn't very good in the first half. Was great in the second half. But because they weren't winning 59, nothing, we're like, oh, they suck. They suck. The hypocrisy of myself and other people is a little bit crazy. Blutman, do we come out of there? Do we come out of there saying this is a team whose holes got shown? Is this a team whose weaknesses got exposed? Or this is a team who tested itself in week one, passed the test, and will be exactly what we thought they would be all along? Well, don't forget, not too long. Go 2024, right? They beat Boise State on the walk-off field goal. And they still went to the playoff. It is still early. Wow. Singing again. Zero seconds on the clock. Congrats, Western Michigan. Great win. The key thing for me is Dante Moore looked off at times. But the defensive line really got pushed around by Boise State. And that, to me, was the most flat-out surprising thing is how you saw it in a lot of games today. And again, last year in week one, guys just aren't showing up from the field. And the physical standpoint that they knew to in week one. Like, they really haven't got their feet wet. They haven't got hit yet. They don't know what to expect almost. And it kind of just shocks and surprises them. I felt like that happened to the Oregon defensive line. They'll be a great group all year. This, to me, is, hey, man, Boise State answered every single question that they needed to as the group of six contender. Because each group of six contender had questions coming in. They answered every question. They're the best team in the group of six. It's down. They've got Memphis. You know that game. They got Memphis. They also go at Western Michigan. What a schedule for them. Yeah. By the way, Lukey, I don't know if Dave has tweeted. Dave did FaceTime me. And I did answer it because I'm not a coward. So I did answer it. I don't know if you've got Dave's Twitter. If you've got that FaceTime, you can play. Because I answered it and I said, you're a coward. You're a piece of shit. Celebrating a win like that. Embarrassing. What do we got here? I haven't seen it yet. I just know I lived it. Let's do a little volume there. Lukey, come on. You got it. Look at him. For Western Michigan. They beat Western Michigan. He's not picking up. I did pick up. He's not picking up. You're so dumb. You're so dumb. You're so dumb. You spoke too soon. You spoke too soon. You spoke too soon. You spoke too soon. You got to wait until triple zero. Let me get word in. Oh, you redneck. I did wait until triple zeroes. There were three zeroes. There were so many zeroes. There were zeroes everywhere. I waited until three zeroes. The game was over. And I FaceTimed him three times. He didn't answer. He didn't answer. I FaceTimed him three times. I had Tommy on my six. Tommy was recording it. I had it. Whatever. Whatever. The Western Michigan coach put Ws up. Because they won the game. It was over. It was over. Western Michigan beat Michigan. It happened. It's not like, oh, if this call had gone that way, if that call had gone this way, no, they beat them. The game was over. The game ended. What the. Big Ten, meet tomorrow. Say, hey, let's honor the fact that. Let's honor the fact that this game ended. And then fire those officials. And then fire the replay guys. You got to do those two things. They're getting the plaque. I mean, obviously they're not going to overturn the results of the game, but I don't think those officials can work anymore because it's not only that at the end, again, they ignored a face mask on a third down in fourth quarter, a vicious face mask. They ignored a roughing the punter. Like they ignored everything. All right. We got to focus. We got a lot of college football to talk about. Shout out to Boise state and Oregon for giving us something pretty awesome today for giving us the feeling of a good mid season war between a couple of good teams. And you're right. I mean, Boise state, this is the G six representative. As far as I'm concerned, obviously North Dakota state will be figured out later. And I don't even know what Memphis is doing right now. They were up 11 last time. I won. Yeah. Did they win by 11? I think 22, something like that. It's very key. They won by more than a 10 and a half. They, they definitely will more by 10. Yeah. But, but like Boise state and Oregon gave us something today. They gave us a taste. They gave us a taste of some, uh, some, some very good football and, and, you know, uh, Boise state made Oregon bleed and bleeding in week one. We're not used to it. Cause all these other teams aren't playing anybody, but bleeding in week one, doesn't mean you're not going to be what you thought you were going to be. I had a guy tonight say, well, you thought Oregon was going to win a national title. I still think Oregon could win the national title. I mean, they still have the roster. And when they got down, my God, those receivers, like you can't hold them down. Cause, uh, everybody hears about Evan Stewart, DeCorey and more DeCorey more with absolutely a joystick touchdown, uh, to, uh, to, to juke out two guys and then, um, McClellan, the other receiver. And then Dante Moore just, you know, it wasn't great. It wasn't great. And then all of a sudden he's throwing darts. Um, that's that game. Auburn Baylor was just a beautiful mess in a train wreck of an ugly week. One game where you got two guys. Two teams that don't know who they are and don't know what they're going to be. I was prepared to say, you know, Alex Golis looks like a coach who might've won his first game, but he still looks like he's over his head at this level. And then that was topped by Kyle Whittingham winning his game. So that's where we are on that. But as far as Auburn and Baylor, a beautiful mess. What do you make Blumman of Aranda going for two down 17, 16. Now, let me set the stage for people. Who haven't watched or whatever. Maybe they only watched it one time. Um, Baylor ends up coming down, scoring on fourth down. They can tie the game, go to overtime, which I think they probably should have. Cause they have the, they were the better team today. But anyway, Aranda decides I'm going to roll the dice and I'm going to go for two to win the game right here. He rolls, they rolled DJ at legway out to the right. He throws the ball to the tight end. The tight end looks like he is open. No tight end is open. Legway throws it a half a step behind him. Yes. He has to turn. And when he turns, um, Auburn player's name plays Winters went Eric Winters. Yeah. Eric Winters form tackle right on the ball, right? His arms grabs him, tackles him right there. He gains after the ball touches his hands. He gains 0.00 yards. Baylor ends up winning, but what do you make of the call? What do you make of the execution? And what do you make of the choice to go for two? Going for two, in my opinion, was the right call. DJ lagway is playing on a sprained ankle. How much, how much of a better opportunity are you going to get in overtime game? That might just end up being a two point off. Anyway, get your best two point look out there. They did. The throw is just not good enough. And the play by Eric Winters is incredible. Also in overtime, I think Byron Brown's just going to run the ball. I think Auburn is just going to be able to run the ball at will over you in the 25 yard span. I like the call to go for two is the right move. It was there. The look was there. They had the wit. I think. I think it's the epitome of professionalism that I can keep going. Despite Michigan, absolutely robbing us of the integrity of college football. And that's a sport that has all the integrity of a Las Vegas hooker after a three day bender. But still, still. Michigan has even gone below those standards. It's gone below Vivian and pretty woman standards. It has gone below absolute dumpster. Oh, my God. Three, two, one. One, two, three. What the heck is bothering me? And now I got to get on a plane and go to Ann Arbor next week and pretend that that didn't happen. But I'm not going to. Oh, my gosh. You have to go there. Yeah, I'm going. We're going next week. We're going. What a pathetic place that's going to be. It's going to be unbelievable. They're going to be happy. They're Western Michigan stuff. Hey, listen. What do you think? Do you think I haven't already ordered it? Who the fuck do you think you're talking to? I got a big customer. The fact. Liam. They rushed the field. They stormed the field. They stormed the field for beating Western Michigan. Liam, they stormed the field. There were triple zeros on the clock. What happens when there's triple zeros? The game ends. It's over. Coaches shake hands. I want to throw this out there to you. Yeah. It's not just one referee. It's not just one official. It's not just one game clock operator. It's not just one human at fault. Here. Multiple human beings looked at those three digits and said, you know what? They looked at that play, saw the ball, not anyone's hands and said, you know what? It's close enough. We might be able to get away with this. We might be able to swindle hoodwink, deceive every viewer watches this. How many people do you think we're watching? Tens of millions. That was all of the all time. Great moments. All of us. All of us away. What is why are you blaming Michigan for the rest of the year? Why are you blaming Michigan for the rest of the year? Referee's decision? Blaming Michigan. What a pathetic, sad, sad question. Why are you blaming us? We're just the ones that got. Oh, my gosh. Kyle Whittingham said there wasn't time. Kyle Whittingham said it? He mouthed it to Lance Taylor. Well, not mouthed it. He said it. He said there wasn't time. They've got to. Big Ten, do what's right. I'm just saying do what's right, Big Ten. What a just. Also, Lane Kiffin said, imagine if we had NFL players at the halftime report. The sports office heals right now. What bar from him? He's actually telling him, Big Ten, you've got to do it. You've got to fix it. That is. I told you Kyle Whittingham's a good man. Kyle Whittingham is a good man. He doesn't want to be part of this crap. He doesn't want to have to win like that. Kyle Whittingham, you should quit. I'd quit. I'd quit. If I had to be surrounded, if I had to answer to a. If I had to be surrounded by a Michigan man, I'd fucking quit. There's no way I'd keep going to work. I wouldn't do it. I can't pretend. I can't pretend that Michigan and the ways that Michigan are all right and good. I wouldn't take a dollar from a Michigan man. Wouldn't take a dollar. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to have a little throat coat tea. Because I have a couple of hours worth of shit to talk about. So if you'll just excuse me. While Michigan seethes in my mind, while I think of a program that prides itself in being historic and awesome and iconic, then they have to resort to cheating like this? I am going to drink a little bit of throat coat. You guys sit there, do whatever you want for a second. And I'm going to see if I can't coat my throat with some warm bubbly so I can talk better. It's so hot. Okay, hold on. It's too hot. If I had an assignment for school and the due date said 11.59 p.m. And I went to go put in at 12 a.m. Would that be on time? No, no, no. They cheated. They cheated. That's what happened. But you know what? When Oklahoma is absolutely making Bryce Underwood cry next week, we'll at least. We'll have that. We'll at least have that. All right. A little bit of Auburn Baylor. Lagway, by the way. Alex Golish is in over his head at Auburn. He's not the guy. I can tell that immediately. Byron Brown is not an SEC-level quarterback. Correct. They're going to get figured out, too. They're not going to have a great year. Golish is going to have to go get him another quarterback next year because that part's not going to work. Baylor did everything but win that game. And now, what do we got? We got LSU-Clemson. LSU is up 31-3 at the half. An absolute behind-the-shed weapon is this LSU announcing itself as bona fide national title contender because it looks like it to me. This doesn't just feel like Clemson slipping away from even the top of the sport. It just feels like LSU announcing, you know what? We don't have these two NFL players, but we got $40 million. We got $40 million worth of players here, and we're really fucking good. I disagree with you there. I think this is both those things. I think this is LSU marching forward saying, yes, we are. With the NFL, guys, or not, we are contending for a national championship this year. And Sam Lovett is the perfect. You know what? He is the perfect quarterback for a Lane Kiffin offense. He's sassy. He's swaggy. He's fiery. He does it all. Like, he's a roller coaster of emotions, highs and lows, throws and don't. Like, yes, he is. But this is also. Clemson not moving forward. at all and yeah dabble flirt with the portal a little more and nio and everything but it's not it's not full-fledged it doesn't feel it doesn't feel because we know he doesn't embrace this sport in the direction it's going and i stand with them for that it is going the wrong way but clemson it almost does feel like they're being left behind and there's a tumbleweed about to go by somewhere i don't i don't see it the same way as you yeah it absolutely it it does feel like uh you're right it clemson is even a couple of years ago they would have put up more of a fight than this it wouldn't be 31 to 3 at the half um but yeah levitt's answering all the questions and the lsu defense looks like there's 14 of them uh on the field at all times i mean just athletically you can tell the difference in these two teams and that's fast they're fast they're big it feels like they're really really big um and i don't know what it is i don't know if it's the weather i don't know if it's the weather i don't know if it's the darkness i don't know if it's the little bit of rain um but this might be the best looking game i've ever seen in 4k i don't know if it's a uniform matchup it's just my 4k tv is fucking popping tonight we've got a lot of takes a lot of takes to get off i got about nine or ten takes from uh the world of college football today then we'll get into our category then we'll get into our categories in my throat coat we'll get into the categories and stuff like that we have a bunch of new categories this year uh but i gotta tell you guys where reese is out tonight huh we gotta i gotta tell you about reese's all night you know why it's a reese's takeover up in here shout out to the reese's uh the official candy partner of barstool sports it is the best wherever you go a reese's should not be far behind because if you're you know on the highway and you're stopping to get gas go in the side of the gas station get your reese's if you go and get your prescription filled at the drugstore go get your reese's if you're on the grocery store and get a full grocery get your reese's wherever you are if you're at the bookstore guess what they're going to get you a reese's if you're going to get your prescription filled at the get you a reese's reese's is the official candy partner of barstool sports nothing like sitting on the couch all day and just popping a reese's every now and then i got this product right here but i got product all over my house and it is so so so so good um reese's is truly the college football of candy that's what i say it's the college football it's just good all the time reese's the official candy partner of barstool sports go get reese's wherever you shop okay here we go i might have to eat like 50 of these tonight just to get over my anyway um i'm just going to go through about 10 takes blutman you stop me when you won't stop me we're also going to unveil the first time our top 10 players of the week we've never done that before we'll do all that so i'm watching the chat right now let's talk about lenora sellers it's coming we're going to talk about everybody um we're going to talk about everybody that that that was relevant we're going to talk about everybody that uh has played obviously michigan kind of stole the headlines there at the top but that's good i like i like that we're going to talk about everybody that that was relevant i like a little controversy i like a little you know upsetting the apple cart i just don't like what happened to western michigan and everything like that so here we go i'm just going to kind of go from this morning and i'm going to ask you a couple of questions as far as my takes um blutman are we concerned at all about indiana's defense and i want to say a couple things in indiana's defense first of all they got out game 367 to 365 and the offense looked very good marsh looked very good josh hoover looked very good josh hoover looked very good and i'm going to ask you a couple josh hoover with the iconic uh you know bloody face are we at all concerned about their defense it was also a ridiculously hot day in indiana we we did the show this morning it was very hot i want to say it was probably 100 over 100 degrees inside the stadium during the game there were the distractions of being defending national champs and starting the starting the season but ultimately north texas moved the ball a lot and we didn't think people were going to be able to move the ball against indiana so are we concerned at all about indiana's defense unmute yourself before you answer my questions boy i have me myself you say like football i'm going to be a consummate professional i will not i will be cautiously i will monitor if that's okay because i remember last year against old dominion first place 75 yards colton joseph off rip there were still questions at the beginning this is a light non-conference schedule as per signetti's model it is pre-season football it is getting the kinks out it is figuring everything out they're still working on it and they're still working on it and they're still working on it and they're still old they're still experienced there were still questions for me like yeah they got punched in the mouth north texas didn't move the ball on them taven jackson former hoosier but i'm going to cautiously monitor i'm not going to overreact brand walker in 2026 we've learned let's not overreact let's not overreact we're not we're not an overreaction show we're not overreacting to indiana we're not overreacting to michigan with the greatest robbery in the history of college football we're not overreacting to any of that we're not overreacting and i'm not overreacting either because if there's one coaching staff or fan base sam levitt's nine for 19 for 123 yards and one interception they're up 31 to three anyway oh then that thing good lord good lord i didn't realize he wasn't even having a good night throwing the football um if there's one coaching staff that that we know is going to get it together and isn't going to worry about what happened today and he's going to take it to the practice field and fix it it's this indiana coaching staff they have the best coaching staff in the country they have way too much back on defense for me to worry about and i'm not going to worry about uh a sluggish start it was a sluggish start defensively it wasn't great but i'm going to go ahead and say they get a pass are we going to overreact or are we right to react to the fact that ryan coleman williams alabama isn't very good at catching footballs anymore or is ryan coleman williams at alabama simply uh simply a decent player propped up by one play his five stars i think he had 43 maybe catches he didn't have that many catches his first year but he had that one iconic play against georgia so we acted like he's up there with jeremiah smith of the world he isn't he wasn't he never was and he never will be today he had i think he had a fumble he had a couple of drops alabama looked you know as good they look fine they look fine against a bad team but this is a guy that we kind of still look at as if he has a five-star pedigree while not realizing that kind of lies about his abilities tell me you didn't watch the game brand this guy says tell us you didn't watch the game brandon i did watch the game i watched the game he's not good i'm going to leave you stunned right now okay do it he had five for 130 it didn't feel like that at all no no uh because he should have because he should have had he should have had like eight for 250 yeah yeah yeah and this is the whiny chat hating obama again if you can't handle reality don't come if you can't handle reality do not do not come watch that's all i'm asking you if you can't handle me saying your five-star quarterback shouldn't drop every third ball thrown to him then then just please don't watch i would i would suggest that josh pate will be live tomorrow go watch him he'll he'll rub your little diaper and put some talcum powder on there and said everything's cute taylor deborah's good he can catch this isn't hate it's just fair criticism of a super talented player who is very aggravating to watch who has many more drops than touchdowns in his last year and a half playing football i why he went no no gloves was a bold decision it didn't pay off week one let's go back to gloves week two he also had a fumble if i'm not mistaken um i feel like he's trying to be too cool is that a fair assessment he's trying to be too cool and he's trying to be the highlight well not wearing gloves is is a kind of a look at me move and everything uh all right we got we got a lot we gotta we gotta keep going um what i just want to say i just want to say you got a quarterback and i got a football team i just want a little spoiler there you got a quarterback i got a football team i don't know about your football team but i i haven't felt this way since dak prescott that's all i'll say i'm not gonna i'm not gonna give you this mother and there's a lot of people out there feeling like i'm not gonna give you this mother and there's a lot of people i'm feeling right now i know tennessee's feeling with fazon brandon uh you got a lot of you got a lot of teams out there that feeling they got a quarterback but then you got some teams that thought they were going to have a quarterback i mean they don't feel that way because in oklahoma state you thought drew messenmaker is going to come in we're going to score a bunch of points you lose 24 10 to tulsa and not only that not only that bloodman but the tulsa coach goes to the locker room it goes to the press conference says should have been worse should have been 30 should have been 37 we should have killed them like he's not wrong i've had a lot of i've had a lot of guys on this show uh mcshay was it mcshay yeah or staples was it mcshay i thought mcshay talked them up staples might have talked them up um somebody did multiple people have talked oklahoma state i believe fornelly talked them up fornelly picked them you've talked them up i've kind of just gone along with it and agree with it because yeah it sounds about right sounds sounds pretty good yeah sure sure um absolutely garbage debut you almost got saved they almost got saved by uh by winning him sucking so bad but um you wanted more than that from eric morris you wanted more than that from mess to make her and i know their offensive line was just getting gashed all day just wasn't there but um one of the more disappointing results of week one oklahoma state yeah uh trey lamb tulsa head coach was right i watched every snap of that game you want to talk about refereeing gang in the way of the little guy trying to beat a powerful opponent that was happening 0 : They beat him by two touchdowns. 3 : Correct. All again, he said it should have been 34 10 or whatever every big play Tulsa had I was coming back laundry on the field every single time kicker missed two field goals as well for Tulsa it can't go understated mess the maker was not good held on to the ball too long throws too high wasn't in sync with his guys that offensive line looked like they wouldn't be good enough to play at SUNY Cortland yeah it was bad it was bad moving on uh Faison Brandon once again 226 yards three touchdowns just trying to think of the the teams and the quarterbacks that were excellent today like Kenny Minchie was excellent for Kentucky um four touchdowns uh Mason Heintzel and and you know take a lot of these with grains of salt a lot of them played you know bad opponents Mason Heintzel I believe 453 yards seven touchdowns at pit uh ridiculous uh just just throwing the ball around the yard um you can weigh in here with anybody I guess what I'm saying is um all these great quarterbacks all these great um showings today and yet tonight we were subjected to a five-star bust who was bailed out by a refereeing crew that should never work again and Michigan stole that game from Western Michigan that is what I say Nate Shepard told the ball 35 times Lenore Lenore Sellers was very good today uh Steve Angelli was good today thank you very much uh Arch Manning I shout shout to Arch Manning because they didn't play anybody sure fine but they also didn't play anybody in like weeks one and three last year actually week one was the last day game like week two or three last year they didn't play anybody and he struggled he was bad well this year he was sharp he was ready to go two touchdowns to Cam Coleman um I don't know what Arch threw for like 300 305 yards are they write it down 305 yards four touchdowns again I'm not saying he invented the wheel or he beat a great team but he was miles ahead of where he was this time last year so shout out to Arch and I'm just gonna do it I'm gonna do it there's a special special talent in Starkville Mississippi he's six foot four he threw the ball 70 yards tonight on his back foot it's he he he runs like a deer Kamario Taylor will be the best quarterback in this country at some point over the next three years that's what I'm saying I don't care I don't care about these hoes man I don't care I'm I'm tired I'm tired of hiding my cowbell I'm tired of hiding behind uh not being very good we got a dude now I'm gonna go further um one more take here lost in the Michigan lost in everything that happened today is how stunningly good Miami looked last night now Stanford not going to win any Super Bowls this year Stanford not going to win the World Series Stanford not going to win the I did a ride but Stanford at least is a powerful opponent they're at least you know they're not who do we play ulm they're not ulm they're they're a level above that and Miami just oh my God and if Kamario Taylor if he's Kamario Taylor is not the best player of the week because Malachi Tony 12 catches 234 yards um really took a big step towards the Heisman and then of course uh the quarterback Darren Mensah was almost perfect like Miami was good at every level of football and taking it with a grain of salt that they beat Stanford 45-6 even for just beating Stanford it was remarkably impressive in Miami looks like a top three to four playoff contender uh championship contender thoughts to go and do that Coast to Coast opening week against the team again I'll be at Stanford they already got their feet wet they already play the home football game go and do that from snap one is as impressive as anybody had all all weekend Malachi Tony hit the Heisman post three times maybe he should have hit it six times I think he should hit it every single time he scores this year I believe that's what he's going to do Darien Mensah first game in a new system Brandon third new system in three years right and he goes and he does that he was perfect let me stop you there is the Heisman button being pressed too much I I don't think it is all right so because my guy Camario hit it tonight after his first touchdown I love that no Jeremiah Smith hit it today I assumed Jeremiah Smith was in response to Malachi Tony hitting it three times um is it is it too much that's all I'm asking I it's hard for me KT hidden is really fun if Tony and Jeremiah both did it every touchdown they scored this year which unfortunately Jeremiah all right did it that would have rocked so much just back and forth like they just go back and forth with Heisman's yeah I want more and maybe maybe we start putting spins on the Heisman maybe we do a little 360 and then hit it get dainty with it oh my gosh that he is I got 38 I got 38.3 here and this is a statement by LSU man this is an absolute statement this is this is coming out saying you know what all the distractions everything doesn't matter where we got the coach now we got the roster we got the quarterback we got everything they are absolutely going out there and and playing like a team that just belongs in the national title conversation um let's move on a little bit let me uh we'll get to our categories in just a second uh so we talked to Oregon Boise State we talked to Auburn Baylor we talked uh um LSU Clemson I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know a little bit Oklahoma State of course uh just make sure I didn't miss anybody here Florida looked pretty good uh took them a while who else looked bad is there anybody else that looked bad Colorado beat Georgia Tech the other night we hadn't really talked about that shout out then we're going on the road and doing it last night you had Oklahoma that defense is just going to be so lights out all year that defense is so nasty I I think from a level to level standpoint level one two to three uh line linebackers defensive backs I think they're the best in the country I don't know who's better than them I I I know George on the back end is is Elite and great and perfect um but on the front end they need to get a little bit better they need to get a little bit more pressure I think Oklahoma is just so good from front to back I do as well also satania ever you can't really you can't pawn to satania yeah yeah and and Mateer uh while I Mateer just needs to be like 70 of a really good quarterback this year for them to go ten and two yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah he doesn't have to be 100 good every week he just needs to but I don't know do I wear Oklahoma next week or do I wear Western Michigan do I wear a combination what do I do I don't maybe maybe both maybe you do both uh do you want would you like to get to our categories because we could open it up to uh the chat right now uh it's all about Michigan cheated again Virginia Tech looked real good did you see not to toot my own horn but we have the Liam Blutman cover your eyes game of the week um I haven't gone back and checked the final score but I think we've got a team emerging that we need to pay attention to every single week now last week last week Northwestern State uh lost to Louisiana Christian and in a n-a-i-a school this week with four minutes to go I see the phone oh God damn it we're four minutes ago in the third quarter they were down 77 to three um they did hit score they did kick a field call in the fourth quarter to lose 80 to six to Louisiana Tech I think I might be addicted to Northwestern State they lost 80 to six and then they lost Louisiana Christian I'm following them all year so this I I pitched a category to you a few days ago and that brought up our least wins draft I pitched we should pick a team to not win a game all season check in every Saturday night ain't no way they win a game and we're doing it ain't no way they might they might win a quarter they might not want to drive they might not win a snap they lost 80 to six and and listen I you know Kansas State Kansas State beat somebody 71 to 3. you know Pitt scored a lot of points Georgia scored 63 points they lost 80 to six to Louisiana Tech Louisiana Tech um God I want to look at these stats for Michigan 13 12 they win the final score um 221 total yards uh for for Western Michigan 276 total yards for for Michigan through one interception 276 yards they end up winning the game Bryce uh Bryce Underwood was 13 12 of 22 for 170 and one touchdown and one interception the touchdown of course was the uh the bogus one that happened at the end um what do you got I was listening to Wayne Ham I'm trying to uh I'm just trying to go back through through my head just to make sure we get all the uh all the takes out because I want to be fair to the teams that played on Friday I'm just gonna look at the scores real quick uh before we get to our categories and open this thing up um you know Purdue 4419 they didn't look very good for a while Kansas 51-6 Michigan State was in a war you know several several first-year coaches and I think that's a good thing to talk about right now several first-year coaches then might be wondering if the job they've taken might be bigger than they anticipated and I think um I think Michigan State I I think Michigan obviously Kyle Whittingham they can have fun and they can celebrate they got Oklahoma on the schedule they got Ohio State on the schedule they got Indiana on the schedule they're going to have to answer a lot of questions throughout the year and they're going to do it with a bad quarterback and bad roster um so like miss is kyle whittingham happy where he's at golish i think looked like he was out of sorts go this look like he didn't really belong where he was so um i don't know i and of course ohio state and oklahoma state and um eric morris down there that wasn't impressive at all a lot of first year coaches kind of limping out of the blocks is what i'm trying to say unmute yourself every time you go to talk i'm listening to the whittingham and lance taylor well don't listen to the whittingham lance taylor i have to i gotta do social for the show i gotta build the show i gotta build your brand you're on the show now so my first year head coach is showing up good lord will stein look pretty good i guess i'll give you that all right minchi minchi's a dog yeah minchi is a dog i you hey kentucky hosts alabama next week we we saw a few weeks ago kentucky hosts alabama next week that's all i'm saying arizona state goes to texas a&m next week that that's a team houston did not impress at all in week one houston didn't look good at all houston didn't look good at all they ended up uh winning about double digits at the end but they they really struggled i thought they were going to be way better but you know what he hit on so many transfer guys last year you just assume he's going to do it again and when you're trying to do that every single year there can be a lot of volatility to that um before i get to the categories i want to tell you about reese's one more time nothing goes better than a day of college football like reese's i had reese's on the plane today coming back from bloomington indiana so shout out to reese's uh the peanut butter cup they have all manner of candy we have the reese's room that has the uh hersey's cookies and cream bar which i love uh but at the paydays like there's all sorts of candies in our reese's room that are fantastic but none better than the old-fashioned reese's peanut butter cup reese's peanut butter cup reese's peanut butter cup is the most popular candy in the the official candy partner of barstool sports reese's has taken over this show tonight so shout out to reese's shout out to college football what a great marriage all right are you ready to do a little categories and then we will go down the rabbit holes as the categories allow us are you ready yeah yeah i'm right who is the most impressive team in week one would you like me to go first or would you like to go first you go first i will go first and i since i'm i'm gonna leave you miami i gotta say lsu what they're doing right now is pretty eye-opening um the chat and other people will say oh yeah but it's just clemson maybe clemson's terrible maybe clemson's this i think we've got enough evidence over the last 15 20 years that clemson isn't out and out terrible i think clemson is is is well coached clemson uh is a uh a dependable power for program they're not at the top of the sport like they used to be and maybe they're not even top 25 like they used to be but still they're not even top 25 like they used to be but still they're not even top 25 like they were 38-3 midway through the third quarter and your defense is absolutely suffocating them your offense is going up and down the field you have to give credit for an lsu team that decided last year it wasn't good enough they went out and spent all the money now you look at their defense you've got six foot four 300 pound gazelles running all over the place you've got an offense that's spreading the ball out this is remarkably impressive from lsu it is remarkably impressive i don't like anybody's in week one yeah but it's just this team it's just that team everybody's coming off an eight month bi-week everybody is and a lot of teams are coming off an eight month bi-week with entirely new rosters and coaching staff and lsu this is fucking impressive they are the number one most impressive team of the week who's your most impressive team of the week it has to be lsu i was gonna say boise state for all the reasons i gave at the top of the hour but i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know if i'm not gonna go lsu i'm gonna go with the officials in the michigan western michigan game it is beyond impressive that they were able to swindle deceive hoodwink and rob tens of millions hundreds of millions of people watching that game and it hasn't been said yet crazy what they did to the to these poor players and coaches i can't i can't imagine what the players in the western michigan uh locker room and how they're feeling on this bus ride home it's impressive what the officiating was able to do and i'm not gonna go lsu i'm gonna go with the officials in the michigan to rob a bunch of kids and men of a great life lifetime achievement like yeah oh it's been it's it's been 19 years since app state beat michigan we still play the clips we still know the call we still remember where we were and that moment was happening tonight and the officials stepped in and didn't allow it to happen and i think what you just said is one of the better points i've ever heard on a podcast the officials there's six of them they're a team of officials they are a team and they were the most dominant team in college football history tonight they were able to ignore a face mask in the fourth quarter they were able to ignore roughing the punter or running into the punter really but it would have been key and then they were able to find a second where it did not exist that second didn't exist second was gone it was a fart in the wind didn't it wasn't there and they found it and they gave it to michigan and they gave them a gift kyle whittingham didn't want it but michigan fans took it you're right but miami also miami if we're talking most impressive teams in week one i think what lsu is doing right now is super impressive i think what miami did last night was super duper impressive they just they just stole the heart and the soul of stanford and did it all night did it for four quarters just never never let them breathe that's when when you go on the road and do that you are a super good team let's try blotman let's try to see if we can't answer these questions without falling back on the crutch of what happened tonight in ann arbor are you ready we could we could try we could give that an attempt who is the most depressed team in america after week one now now now now the most depressed team was going to be michigan and it should be michigan it was going to be the team that spent 12 million dollars on a faulty quarterback it was going to be the team that hired a coach to come in and fix things it didn't get fixed it was going to be the team that lost to western michigan in real time but that was stolen from us so the answer is ruckers is there anybody more depressed than ruckers right now maybe oklahoma state maybe but ruckers ruckers was playing a team that hadn't won in two years ruckers was playing the worst team in the country and got their ass kicked that's depressing this is actually a great debate is it ruckers who didn't have expectations kj duff antoine raymond two of the best players in the big ten kj one of the best troops in the country so for touchdown favor against a team that can't compete with almost any team in the fbs or is it oklahoma state who had all this belief all this rejuvenated energy two touchdown favorites on the road against an in-state school who beat them to get their last coach fired so what you're talking about is hope versus um sad hope versus despair your hope versus despair and ruckers is the epitome of despair but what is more despair than entering the season with hope and immediately having it sucked out of your body oklahoma state fans spent nine months talking themselves into turning the page talking themselves into now we're paying money talking themselves into mess to make or talking themselves into morris and at least we're just opening with tulsa i know we got oregon week two but we're gonna get our feet wet with tulsa we're gonna score a lot of points and then we're gonna deal with oregon now all that hope is gone in one week it's gone and you can't really get it back i suppose they could be to oregon but they can't be to oregon so that's that but there's a whole different world entirely than coming in the season at home against a umass team that is a free win that is how they were looked at they were a free win and they were a free win and they were a free win and they were 29 point favorites and you lost by double digits it's a it's a fascinating debate i who's more depressed oklahoma state or ruckers and i guess western michigan right now because they they've been jobbed yeah i i i don't know i i got something else for this later so i'll save it what was the most bad a new topic new topic we got uh most impressive team most depressed teams most badass thing you saw today i told you so in the hand up i was wrong what's the most badass thing you saw today blutman you got qb1 coming into a new program and somewhere in the and somewhere in his debut his face is a gushing is gushing red liquid it's blood his face is bloody he will be bruised for days and weeks after this but you look that man you look that leader right into his eyes right into his bloody gory face that looks like he's gonna be bruised for days and weeks after this looks very akin to a wolf hunting its prey and you know i could go to battle i could go to war i could die on this battlefield every single week for this man right here the warrior of the week is josh hoover and it's not even remotely close and all he did after being looking like he was in a five round bound and the ufc was throw a touchdown pass my bad my most badass thing of the day other than my voice getting uh getting tougher and tougher you're doing well though thank you my most badass thing of the day eric winters was the difference in a and a loss. Eric Winters was standing near his goal line. If he makes a perfect tackle, Auburn wins. If he makes anything less than a perfect tackle, Auburn loses. Now he was helped by DJ Lagway, who couldn't throw a ball on target to save his life at times, who turned and had a wide open tight end. If he leads him at all, it's an easy walk-in touchdown. He didn't. He made him turn around. But Eric Winters saw that gift, wrapped him up, grabbed him, took him straight to the ground. A remarkable tackle when an inch here or an inch there is a difference in winning and losing. And that's unbelievable. Somebody says Rocky Beer's hurdle. By the way, that's a fantastic one. You guys in the chat can weigh in too. I've got Eric Winters' tackle, but Rocky Beer's hurdle on that long touchdown last night from John Mateer against UTEP, I believe, was fantastic. But mine, mine personally, and yes, the quarterback for Indiana, the bloody face. I mean, Indiana's like almost got an embarrassment of riches as far as like memes and iconic imagery over the last, like they're catching up to the rest of college football by just spamming the button. You got Cignetti, you know, looking down the line last year, you got Cignetti saying, Google me. And now you got your new quarterback in his first game with a busted up nose, looking awesome, looking like he's playing in 1962 in Lambeau Field. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Jamal Rule, three touchdown game as a true freshman. Yeah, I suppose we can be charitable and let that be the story from Nebraska's game and not the fact that they were just absolutely looked not ready to go in the season and they don't look like a contender again. But yeah, Rule was good. Jamal Rule was very, very, very good. Blumman, do you have an I told you so from week one of college football? I told you so that the group of six deserves a C at the table for any chance at all. That they get, that was unbelievable. It just happened in LSU. You've seen that? What is happening to Clemson and LSU? Dill, Dill Jones is going crazy. I also got a field. We're about to pick JKS off right here. Well, if we just did, we had nine through a dot shoot. I told you so that the group of six deserves to see at the table for any little tiny chance that they have had a successful storybook upset is worth it. It's so far outweighs what a group of six national championship would be. And we've had this talk. You email and I on mostly this week, the best times in college football are when we all come together and we root for the underdog. We root for the little guy. We root for what, what would tell what would become the whole story of their program. Brad Walker, what's your, I told you so. I told you that Oregon was a national title contender. I told you they're going to win the national title. And for about a quarter and a half today, I told you that Oregon was a national title contender. And for about a quarter and a half today, I told you they're going to win the yards, four touchdowns. And number 10, I was saving for the running back from Western Michigan after they ended up finishing off that game. So just give me whoever the best player is for LSU here. Maybe Sam Leavitt, even though I hadn't thrown the ball that well. Liam, do you have your top 10 players of the week in college football? Yeah, Malachi, Tony, and Darian Mensah. So what they did to Stanford is so, so, so, so impressive. Eric Winters, 11 tackles, nine of them solo, two tackles for loss. He sealed the game with his stop on two-point conversion. Jamal Rule, Nebraska, he got mentioned already. He had three total touchdowns today. He was terrific, a true freshman. Armies and Navies, offensive lines. Army had 57 carries for 569 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. Navy had 73 carries for 506 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Omari Thomas, eight catches for 133 and a touchdown. Nasty Moss, any time he touches the ball, he's a threat to score. Mason Heintrall, as you said. Nate Shepard, the one star from Duke who stayed loyal and true to Duke. He had 35 carries for 227-2. He's the offense this year. Walker Eget could not throw a complete pass to save his life. Javon Tracy, Minnesota receiver, had two-point return touchdowns of 87-69 yards as well as five catches for 98 yards. I left the last spot open. Yeah, I did too. Reese's, Reese's, the official candy partner of Barstool Sports. This Reese's Takeover is brought to you by, guess who, Reese's. They are fantastic. The Reese's is just like the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is the best thing in candy. It's my favorite. Love nothing more on a road trip than getting just a little pack of those. Two of them, great for a flight. You know, one on landing, one on takeoff, all that. So, Reese's is fantastic. Reese's sponsors this show. Reese's sponsors all our shows. Here at Barstool Sports. The official candy partner of Barstool Sports. Shout out, Reese's. A lot of great players this weekend. I got Faison Brandon in the chat. He was good. He was good. Gunner Stockton, 15 of 16 down there in Georgia was good. Keelan Russell was good. A lot of good. A lot of teams played bad teams. A lot of guys looked really good. We're going to see next week who's real and who's not. Did you have the Memphis running back, by the way? Who is. Forgotham, Jalen Carter, four touchdowns. I think 185 yards rushing. Speaking of, next week, we got. Obviously, we got Oklahoma, Michigan. And obviously, we got Texas, Ohio State. We got Memphis, Boise State next week, right? Yes. That. Really good. That's pretty special. Pretty special. Really, really good. Liam Blutman. Who won the week? The group of six still won the week, even though those guys got robbed in Kalamazoo. The group of six could play. They can beat you. They can do a lot. Ooh, cool graphic. Trey Lamb talked his talk before, during, and after a game. Lance Taylor's a winner of the week. Handles it all with class. Legend Bay, his touchdown for Ohio State today was absolutely filthy. Rated our stuff. He's the best running back on that roster. Has the best name on that roster. DeCorey and Moore's touchdown. The stop and the start. Oh, my goodness. That was like a fast car. Name a fast car. Lamborghini. Ooh, that was like a Lambo. And then a Miami Master. Master Class Clinical. So, I'm going to go ahead and double down a little bit. I think LSU is in the midst of winning week one right now. Oh, true. Western Michigan would have won week one, and they did win week one. But, unfortunately, I went back and looked, and we still have a second left in the day. So, we're going to have to take that away from them in corrupt fashion. Western Michigan truly did win this day because they truly did beat Michigan. But, we live in the world of reality. And the reality is that LSU right now spent all season fighting, spent all season building, spent all season getting ready for this. You go out and get Lane Kiffin to make a splash, to make a noise, to make ripples, and they're making a ripple right now. They're absolutely looking incredible. They're looking like a team who is ready to compete for a national title. So, I think LSU won the week. Who was FaceTiming me? What? Yeah, I'm on my show. But, if it's you, I'm always going to pick up. What's up? No, you're not a huge incubator. It's Hardy. It's Hardy. What's up, man? Did you see Camario? Let's talk ball. I was good. I was good. I was going to talk 780 fucking yards on offense. Dude, it was unbelievable. Did you see? Were you able to watch the game? Did you see his throw, his 70-yard throw? Of course. I saw the whole thing. I watched the whole thing. It was unbelievable. I have never been more excited, I think, week one since we beat, or since 2014, I have not been this excited about a Mississippi State football team. Since Dak Prescott. Yeah. So, cancel whatever concert you got next week. Pick me up in the PJ. Let's go to Minnesota. Bro. I don't have PJ money. Let's chill out for a second. Oh, okay. Okay. All right. Let's all, let's make, you don't have PJ money. No. Fuck no. If I did, I mean, I do, but I would be broke. Okay. Fine. Fine. Fine. No, it was great. It was fantastic. We got to run the ball a little bit better. It doesn't matter. Today was awesome. Today was awesome. Did you see the Michigan thing? I did. I texted you about it. You didn't write me back. I'm sorry. I was live on this. I'm sorry. I was live here. I'm sorry. KT, it'll be good. JJ Hill's a fucking dog. I fucking knew it, bro. I've been hearing Robbie and Hey Dad and all the guys talk about him for a year. Yeah. JJ Hill is a fucking dog. I know he's a freshman, but he's a freaking dog, dude. And he's going to be a stud, bro. Dude, it reminded me of like when I was like younger and I saw like Cadillac Williams and the fucking biceps that guy had. Yeah. Yeah. Liam Blutman, who lost the week? Rutgers, Oklahoma State, DJ Lagway. God didn't forget about you. That was one of the most egotistical things a man has ever said. Please just work on your craft and getting better at football. I promise God will thank you for that. Bryce Underwood, the biggest waste of $12 million ever. I love Dave Portnoy. I know I should not miss this show. So I did not go. But also it is you go to a college football game. You miss it. You miss greatness. I would have kicked myself for a decade plus till I died, which will be in nine decades. If I miss that Western Michigan ending and beating Michigan, you like there's just the sport never stops. It never takes a second off. What a great pun. What a great pun. Also, Brown Walker College football show bus. They did you so dirty. That is not cool. Well, that's been that's a little fake news. Oh, buses have to. Two sides. Oh, buses have two sides. So it's on the other side. I'm not on the window on the other side. It was represented like I'm that's the only place I'm on there. Shout out to the Ohio State seniors who have given everything through one game. Just shout out. Shout out. You guys, you guys had a hell of a senior year and we honor them today before the season. Why? Because Ryan Day didn't want to have distractions when he beats this Michigan team by fucking 90 in a couple of months. Ridiculous. Fucking ridiculous. Who lost the week? decency Justice. America. All great things. All sullied tonight. All in darker times because of corrupt officials. All in darker times because of corrupt people. All in darker times because the Michigan Death Star has risen again. And it's just ridiculous. It's terrible. It's awful. And lastly, last category, what are we doing? Blumman, what are we doing? What are we doing when the lifeblood of the sport is anything going to happen and everybody has a chance and Western Michigan goes on the road and does it? They do it. They did it. They beat Michigan. They went across the state to the halves in their state. They went across the state to the team that has militancy. They went across the state to the millions and millions and millions of dollars. They got on a bus. Like you said, the bus ride, they got on a bus and went over there and they beat them. And what happened? Officials took it away. The Big Ten took it away. Justice was not served tonight. It was terrible. It was awful. What are we doing? How can that happen? How can six officials, how can an official go under the hood and find a phantom second? How can he cheat like that? How can he do that? What are we doing that that was allowed to happen? What are we doing that that's allowed to stand? What are we doing that we take that away from Western Michigan? One of the great moments in college football history gone. What are we doing? Bloodman, what's yours? There's no point to give another one. It's just that there's no point to go on. So that is, uh, that is week one. Now what happens tomorrow night when Ole Miss and Louisville have a classic? Notre Dame, Wisconsin have a classic. Maybe we go live. I unfortunately believe despite Labor Day, there will be a web this, this, this Monday. I'll have to go face Dave Portnoy. Um, but oh my gosh, if we have to go live tomorrow, we have to go live. Otherwise, this is the first, uh, this is week one of what, 15 or whatever, however many weeks we're going to do this. It's been incredible. Thank you for watching. Thank you for being here. Lookie, we got anything? Um, yeah. Your ultimate winner of the weekend brought to you by Reese's. My ultimate winner of the weekend brought to you by Reese's. I'm going to give it to Lane Kiffin. Lane Kiffin kind of pulled the wool over all of us. Lane Kiffin acted like the battle was in courts. Meanwhile, he was getting ready to stuff Clemson in a locker. Lane Kiffin, I think will dominate this sport in 2026. And that doesn't mean from a winning every game or national title perspective, but he's going to have a hand. And I say in every single week, we're going to talk about him every single week. We're going to talk about LSU every single week. I believe tonight is an absolute, absolute, absolute win for the LSU Tigers who are back on the big stage or back in a big time college football. And Lane Kiffin is back and better than ever and louder than ever. He's going for two up 44 to three. So that's the show. We'll get better next week or get worse. We'll see until then. This has been the Brandon Walker college football show. Do you want to tell us about Reese's one last time? I just told you Reese's this Reese's takeover was amazing. Reese's is the official candy partner of Barstool sports. Reese's has been fantastic. Nothing goes better with college football and Reese's. I'm going to go have some Reese's right now. Summary:
