men we actually like, decoding the Gen Z stare & making a case for the Cheesecake Factory

The transcript captures a candid, humorous, and reflective conversation about everyday frustrations in public spaces, particularly on trains and in restaurants. The speaker recounts being upset by a woman on a train who took up excessive space with a laptop and eye patches, which evoked strong reactions of both anger and admiration. This incident serves as a lens to explore generational differences in social behavior—Gen Z’s perceived aloofness in customer service versus Millennials’ over-politeness. The discussion also touches on gender dynamics, including discomfort with male "spreading" and a lack of courtesy toward vulnerable people like pregnant or elderly individuals. It contrasts with a deeper appreciation for men who demonstrate kindness, openness, and integrity, such as Ed Sheeran, Noah, or Hugh Jackman, despite past controversies. The conversation concludes with a proposal to create a list of admired men, recognizing that while the podcast sometimes appears critical of men, there are many positive, supportive figures worth celebrating. The overall tone is self-reflective, blending personal anecdotes with cultural observation, emphasizing the importance of balance, empathy, and acknowledging the complexities of human behavior across generations and genders.

(upbeat music) - Welcome to "Justice Girls" at his page, "Cadien Sam." Quick house key, babe, I don't know what I'm, I forget what I was gonna say, so. - Welcome. - Just get the episode started. - Yes, she's worth working here and ready to party. - Yeah, I love it. - I think I will forgive you for this error because we just took the train here, you and I. And I feel like once you get off a four hour Amtrak or like three, it's, you're just-- - It's top traveling. - Yeah, you need time to recover. - I do. I can't make full thoughts, like-- - No, it's like an airplane, I feel like. Where it's just like time isn't real. I don't know, somehow I'm in a different city. - Yeah. - Yeah, I get here. - Different city. - I had a lot of rage on the train this morning at a person sitting across from me. And I don't think it was warranted. I have, I have both rage and admiration for this woman. - I'm okay to hear what. - Yeah, tell us more. - So you don't get on at the first stop at Amtrak to you. - I honestly don't, no, I get on the second. - Yes, so I get on at the second stop. - So a lot of people get on in Boston 'cause that's like the main stop. I'm just assuming DZ you work, you know. So a lot of people get on at Boston. So by the time I get on the train, there's people on the train. Like, and you have to kind of fight for a seat. You have to be like, okay. - Especially at the Boston. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're gonna be ready. And so I always just find a person who seems nice-ish. Usually a lady, I'm like, that girl looks great. I'm gonna ask her if she might as if I sit next to her. I always ask like, do you mind if I sit here, which I'm like, it's an open seat. - Yeah, you're on the train. - I can absolutely sit. They hold the seat. - Has anyone ever said no? - If they hold the seat and yell that, listen to this. - She's beautiful, right? - So I get on my train, 6, 15 in the morning. It is early, right? It is early to feel this much feelage. - Right. - Yes. So I sit in my seat and our next this girl, she's nice, whatever. We're just sitting there. We're both working on our goptops. The girl next to me, like across the aisle. - How old? - 27. - Okay. - We're excited to cross from you. She's sitting across like, there's three seats across and she's-- - So like, so there's two and two. - Okay. - So she's just in the ones across the aisle. - She's never been on a train. - She's been on a train for like two many years ago. - So she's across the aisle. - Got it. - So there's some space between us. - Got it. - She's in the aisle seat. She's in the aisle seat with a bag. She's got her coffee, she's got her breakfast, whatever. Then in the seat next to her, she's set up shop. She has her laptop turned like a television. She's got a movie on. She has this whole thing set up on the chair. She's taken over the entire thing. - She's woman's spreading. - Woman's spreading. - Got it. - She has her eye patches on. And I'm like furious. - I'm like looking at her. I'm like, this is so disrespectful. 'Cause people keep walking by looking for seats and she looks at them. She literally looks at them and she's like, I dare you to a fucking ask. - Oh, I would pretend to at least be asleep or something. - No, no, she's looking at the people in the aisle. - Wow. - And like part of me was like, you know what? Anytime I've been on public transportation, there's a man who's taking up way too much space. Like on a regular train, on a T and they, man spread and their legs hit you. - Oh yeah. - I hate that. So like part of me is like, you know what? Maybe it's time a woman does it. But at the same time, we're better than that. - Yeah, be courteous. People paid to be on this train. You bought one seat. She's either gonna be a heathen to society or the president one day. - Oh, she's a don't know. - She's one of the two female presidents. - She had the best ride. - Yeah, for sure. She really had a full set up going. - Yeah. - But I was like sitting there the entire ride and I would just look at her and I like, it took everything in me and I just look like, make a face out of it. - You were texting us, the group tiger likes, I have something to say. - 'Cause I just think it's common courtesy. It's like you see, like these old people too, we're like walking up and down the aisle, looking for a seat. And I'm like, this woman can barely walk and you won't, I have to say a man spreading, especially gets to me because I'm in trouble. - I'm in short, so I'm a little self-conscious. I have the body of Kindergumby. Right, I have no abdomen. - A what? - You remember gumby? - Gumby, oh, a kin to gumby. - I was like, I thought a kin to gumby. - That's what I was like, what's a kin to gumby? - No, did you do, I already did that, I can't gumby. - I know gumby, yes. - So I have the same body type as gumby. - I swear, I will show you later. - I won't take my clothes, I just want to see. - My abdomen is three inches, and I am all limbs. So like my husband, you do one limbs. - Six, one, six, two, our legs are the same length. - Yeah, 'cause you got long legs. - So I hate man spreading that much more because I'm like, my legs are probably longer than yours. - And you're like, get your legs, and you're almost spilling it about the legs case, about the balls. - It's about the balls. - But God forbid, you close your legs. (laughing) - That's that one too. - Yeah, God forbid. - Well, this is my thing, right? What happens in the man spreading typically though, is that they come into your space. - Yes. - And they take up three seats, typically, 'cause it's like they're like this. She was taking up, that's why I say I had some admiration. Part of me was like, I don't have enough balls to do something like that. - Yeah, it's the intense rage coming from the fact that you don't have the confidence. - Yeah, I, maybe I'm jealous of how important. - But this is the Gen Z of it all, right? Like she's definitely a Gen Z here. Like, they, they, watch out, we have a Gen Z in the room. - Sorry, T, sorry, too, he could be Gen Alpha. (laughing) - Are you? - No, he's Gen Z. I don't know, it's a wide person. You never know, like where we will fall. - I have to google it frequently. - I have to google it all the time. I'm like, what is Gen, I'm always like, what is a boomer? - I know, my youngest son's gonna be a beta, and I'm like, oh no, 'cause he got two Alpha's in the beta. Like, I hope that doesn't become my beta. - I think I got all Alpha's, and well, we'll see. - Yeah, you know how I'm like, yeah. - But my friend the other day came out to me, and she's like, I got Gen Z, and I was like, what happened? She's like, out of coffee shop. Like, and she's like, I asked for coffee, and she just didn't say anything to me. - She just looked at me. - I didn't understand why Gen Z takes customer service jobs, 'cause they look at you like, you're bothering them. Like, I was at a store in Charleston, and I asked for help, and she kind of just looked at me. Like, why would you ask me that? And I mean, do you work here, and she's like, yeah. I was like, oh, I'm just like, I need another size. - She's like, I'm busy, thank you very much. - Yeah, I'm working to a coffee shop, and my husband was like, hey, what's your, I'm best latte. And the girl looked at me, she was like, what? And he's like, which latte do people like the most? She's like, not sure. And he was like, okay. - Maybe it's like the over correction, because I feel like for our generation, remember you would go to Sephora, and every three feet, someone would be like, what do you need? How can I help you? You're the best. - Yeah, yeah. - And it's like, I walk out, 'cause I'm like, that was too much social action for me. Like, I don't want it. So maybe they swung in the opposite direction. - It's very strange. I think people are blaming it on COVID, that they were just alone with their felons for too long. - Yeah, I mean, I definitely got weird. - They're all people, pleasers, right? - Well, that's the other side of it. - So they don't want to please people, 'cause they're different than millennials. Like, we were too far that way, for sure. - They even say on TikTok, some girl made a roast of millennials. They're always roasting millennials on TikTok, but they're like, you always know it's a millennials video, because they always have pleasantries. - Did you see that? - No, but I saw the video where the girl was making fun of millennials for being on TikTok at Instagram, and how we were there. - And, baby girl, we made this. - We were born in this. - We were, we were HTML coding our pages. - Yeah. - Like, can I tell you, I accidentally walked through some girls TikTok dance at my daughter's dance class. She was in the hallway using her octave buddy, and she was doing a TikTok dance, and I walked through, and the glare she gave me, and I wanted to turn around and be like, "Bitch, I've got three." - Oh my gosh. - Five wood TikToks, yeah, my ass. - Can you imagine if Paige goes viral for like clapping back at like a little girl? - All the men would feel so justified there. Like, we knew she would make one of these. - She knew me in your video. - But instead I said, I'm so sorry for making your dance. That's what I said, 'cause I'm a people-pleaser, but I was like, she was genuinely mad at me, and I was like, "Girl, you're in a hallway." - I was like the man that I can't, you know those videos when people come up behind, they know the dance, and they drop by. - Oh, you would do that? - I would do that. - I love those videos. - Yeah, those are fun, man. - I'm always looking for it. - Yeah. - Or the streets in New York, you have a lot of opportunities tonight. - I will be. - People get checks left and right, little mics are coming out. - Why? - But would you ever pop your Octobody on just like a random street corner and do a dance? - Um, honestly, it depends on the situation. - Like the amount of children, and I say that, like the high schoolers who are just doing dances in the gas station parking lot. - Yeah. - And I'm like, when I was 16, you would never catch me dead during that. - Oh, you were like, you were like, you were like, "I love those videos." - Yeah. - No, those videos are my, yes, no. - No, dance pops off like the ones with the gas station. - I don't, if it's a lighting and what it is, I will stop for every gas station dance. - I'm also scared for the little bit. - Michael, are you guys gonna make it out or are you gonna be abducted? Is everybody okay? - There is short-sightedness with like, where are the cars? - What's happening? - Yeah. - There's gas here. - There's gas here. - I'm just going to play this part about myself. - Speaking of, we have this conversation about gas stations. My sister texted me. She was listening to the podcast episode. And she was like, I just did tap to pay at the gas station. So it's like, if you're not supposed to be on your phone, why do they tap to pay? - At the gas station? - Yeah. You're not supposed to be holding your phone and holding the gas pump at the same time. - Okay, but I'm sure that happens when you're paying and you're pumping. - You can believe it or not. - That's a risk of willing to take. - That is the rule. - Yeah. - That is the rule. I don't know. But yeah, I don't know. This woman really got to me this morning. And I'm still thinking about her. Like, I'm not gonna be able to let it go. I think for a little bit. - Yeah, it's, I feel like it's, I can feel like you're just eating rage from now. - But it's also just one of those things. Like, have you seen the conversation where it's like a pregnant woman gets on a train and nobody gets up for her? - I have been that pregnant woman. I've been pushed at Costco when I was like nine months pregnant. - What were you doing? - Checking out. And somebody was like, you know how Costco can do. - Costco gets wild. - Costco gets wild. - So I will admit fault here as to, I went to Costco nine months pregnant. Which, you know, I should have just instacarned it. But I was, you know, trying to get out there and see the world. - Yeah. - I got pushed at checkout. I started hysterically crying in life. - Just crying at Costco. - How did they shove you? - It's hard. - I look into the payment system. - Oh my gosh. - Yeah. And I just started crying right then there. And like the man behind the counter didn't know what to do. And I was just like, it's fine. It's okay. - Yeah, so. - No, but they don't get up for people. Like boys and girls. - Yeah, they just like don't get up for people. People don't respect, but when I was a kid, my parents would be like, go hold that door. They'd be like, go get up. - Grab your shirt and get your ass off. - So they'd be like, never let your grandmother go get the milk. You go get the milk. - Yeah. - And it's like, you get up. - Okay. - I will say, I've been doing a lot of public transit for this between the bus and the subway. so much public rights. Thank you. Thanks. I'm like transit for me, which I'm used to just my mini van going a few miles and People I do have hope for people because I see a lot of people getting up for like elderly or pregnant women That's good But I did sit next to a man on a plane where it was just like one of the little planes I was like too deep on both sides and I was the window and I came in and his legs were spread and he had both arm rest like he had the aisle and and I'm like Do you like your seatbelt on a plane ever no? But this is so funny you ask it. Okay, do you put your seat back? It's rude. I'll only do it if everybody in front of me This is it if it's a red eye and everybody's doing it. Yeah, if it's okay I'll I would never ever be the first to pull the trigger Okay, I'm mortified because I don't I have a firm role. Do not put your seat back listen to this So I guess my seat was already pushed back. I mean you guys were afraid that I overslept and didn't come today So I literally get on the plane sunglasses on hood up like again to thing and I I put white noise on in my headphones Oh, wow, and the next thing I know the flight attendant was pushing me to put my seat up that we were landing I didn't even know it was down and I was like these people Oh, I guess I know but that was in my fault. It was already down. Yeah I was mortified because I hate when people put the seat back I've been on a plane with both okay. I was eight months pregnant. We were flying it with our toddler So it's my husband had our toddler on his lap. I could barely fit so pregnant and the guy goes puts the seat back and so we yeah, we tapped him and just excuse me started like we have no room here Like we're gonna be touching your seat if you and he said he's my back hurts I'm gonna put this down and the flight attendant saw it asked him he said no This is my seat. I'm putting it back. And so we like couldn't do I think is like we are in this tiny-ass place You do not need that too in that too much is it making you that much more comfortable? No, no for the discomfort It's causing the people behind you. We used to travel in a group of four my poor husband It was my two best friends and my husband and we would but they were the only ones who like wanted to travel abroad with us So like we would go to Barcelona and places we would travel together and We stopped traveling with them because we went to Barcelona and on the way home. Are they gonna listen? Yeah, no, I don't know Hey, guys I said this to their face We're from Boston. I said it brought up to the door staff. I said it to them on the plane with your whole chest holes The plane had not even taken off and they're right into our faces me and Matt and we were like what you guys have got to be kidding me and both of them We're gonna take a nap and I was like I do not care. It's a four-hour flight to your friends our friends And so Matt got off the plane. He's like we are dumb and traveling with them And I actually think that was our last trip with them Wow, we are so good friends, but we have yet to travel on a plane I mean I could have just been like from now on. We're booking seats across away. Yeah, yeah No, it really did him in and Matt was really like the the straw that broke the camera so yeah Cuz I think that's a lot to like break the friendship traveling over Yeah, well, and then we have kids I think and we all just have to say but we both walked off that plane And I don't even think we said like bye. Yeah, but I also want to spring break trip with that that same friend And I couldn't talk to her for like two weeks after cuz I was like Nope too much traveling with friends can be too much time. Yeah times. Yeah, so you love each other This is why I get annoyed when people say like I've said before like you can't like your partner all the time Like you can't it's impossible like everybody all the time. Yeah, it is hard It if you think what you're siblings like half the time you're fighting half the time you love each other Yeah, that is the dynamic same with friends When you move in to an apartment with a friend you find out very quickly Yeah, that you need space from that Yeah, and I think that's the thing It's like we always make it up to be like oh like you're only true friends, and I'm like no. Yeah, like too much time is too much Yeah, yeah, I definitely got a big differences and you're gonna see it when you're traveling with them Or especially when you're living with them. Yeah, cuz it's like something that you don't see when you're just gonna Pilates and lunch and whatever you when you live with somebody or travel with somebody It just becomes I feel like the best kind of front to live with is one that you know like pretty well But not you like but you're not your best friend Yeah, because then I feel like actually like I've had friends like that where I moved in together and we had a good friendship We weren't the best friends. We didn't know each other that well, and I think our friendship got better saying because we were in a place Where we could like learn to tango, and then but if you're like best and there's like more respect there Yeah, because I feel like with best friends There's like your sibling muffled boundary and yeah, and it's hard Yeah, when I lived in DC when I first graduated with a friend Lauren for two years I love her and she had a boyfriend And but the thing is I loved her boyfriend, and he kind of assumed the role of like our house dad Like he'd become over and we'd be like Scott the toilet's work, and he fixed it. It was always good, but he was serving a purpose Which I was like oh you can live here with us - yeah, I've had other situations where like the boyfriend was basically Mooching off our rent yes in San Francisco, which was very expensive I like that's not I had that but luckily my friend who's don't my best friend She's no longer with him because he sucked but she was the first one to be like I'm gonna make him pay rent Because my girl this kid is here constantly. Yeah, he basically lives here We were paying we were living in Boston like this is not cheap. Yeah, so I had to expense it Obviously when I lived in Hoboken my roommate still good friends with her to this day She still lives in she lives in the city now, but we lived in Hoboken her boyfriend lived in the city So she would always stay at his place. So I have like my own place I still feel that way like when my husband works in overnight I'm like yeah placed myself. There is nothing I don't like it overnight because it's like I get scared I get scared but like that I don't three-hour block being gone where I can like watch any TV Should I want my red light mask on just like be creepy silence? I'm so behind Working I love hacks. Do you guys want me to watch? I love I'm too deep on love. I live right now Hacks is so good, but Matt doesn't really he'll watch with me But it's like not his show He's not into it and so whenever he works in overnight. I like binge hacks And then I like should go to bed early and then I'll be up to like midnight Especially on a show like that where I'm like I really like everybody else has already seen it And it's like done that's the final season and I'm like I still don't know what happened Yeah, I need to know I'll do that with girls and then my husband will come in for like one episode I'd be like what the fuck is going on in this show. Yeah, I'm like yeah, it's kind of hard if you're like if you don't know Jumping in and up. It's pretty weird. Yeah, we were watching it He watched a hacks with me recently. He's like this is such a strange show Yeah, I'm like you don't get it. You don't get it. You're a fan here. It's been five season Do you don't know it was a arc the idiosyncrasy? Yeah, like you yeah, it's not cool like I don't like when somebody comes into something that you like late And then they're like judge it and yeah, you haven't been here. Yeah, you don't know you don't know how to judge you don't know Yeah, I feel like I can come in late to like say the masters a golf tournament. I can come in late for the end I can be like okay, who's up who's down like who's gonna win? Well, you're not missing a lot of plot No, it's like that's what I'm saying. It's like a sports thing. I can come in late I can be a fair-weather fan and just like come on in. I mean, why would you watch past last day? You know, that's just a waste of time watching the masters for four days or three like just watch the final day It's an excuse to sleep. It's an excuse to park your ass on the couch and sleep That's what you do when you watch golf you nap. I swear my dad. It's the best Always napping all the couch watching the masters. I swear, I can see you're the jungle Yeah, and now my husband sitting there just nodding off to the masters. Yeah, it's my husband's birthday weekend So it's like April, oh no, there's another one. It's in May. There's so many golf tournaments every other week There's one I don't see here. Yeah anyways, that one really got me Workshop mother. Oh, sorry Katie, but I think it's also one of those things where it's like I am somewhat proud of the Like younger generation. I'm like I think you could do with more pleasantries at the coffee shop because I do bet you It's like older generations look at art. It's like you remember our Millenials were so entitled. Yeah, like everybody said we were the most entitled generation So it's like I think it's also like entitled to what I might ask Put in my mom always be like the mind was 14% I'm like in your house cost you $60,000. Oh literally, and it's like No, there were no jobs on the market like oh my god We didn't have AI filtering your resume the house and crash happened right when we were Did your parents tell you when I moved LA for the first time my parents were like just walking in the hand of me resume I'm like there's security. No, I can't walk in and hand them a resume guys I have a job people be like this get arrested. They true. We thought that's like that's just how it works Like they're like that's what we did. Yeah, so different. You move to LA with no job I had a part-time job, but not enough to pay a lot of the bills. Yeah, that'd be scary Yeah, I just named you know, you make some money. You take a risk. I can't done anything, you know I ended up on stage somewhat Okay, so some exciting news actually. I don't know if it's exciting Okay, yeah, well, I just want to update you guys because eventually I'm gonna have to get my double mastectomy And I'll probably be out for a few weeks like recovering But it is a I don't want to say it's exciting. Okay for context to listeners that like don't follow me or whatever I guess I have what's called the BRCA 2G and which means that like I have a mutation that makes my chance of getting breast cancer through my life Like 85% it's like crazy. How is it crazy? So what people in my position have the option to do is get what's called a pro Flactic double mastectomy, which is they take out all my breast tissue and then I you can either just Stay with no breast tissue or you can get reconstruction and get new boobs and I want the news. Yeah, I'm gonna post three kids. Yeah, I was gonna get like a reduction and a lift anyway because we talk about yeah You know, I have the jugs and get the jugs and got the jugs one of the girls on the jug Yeah, and after like breastfeeding kids and just like my boobs have always been too big for my body like I've always had But I don't know who has boobs is like my back hurts. I my scoliosis is so bad I know when the girl was put in my epidural Just so you know, I have like scoliosis and she was like, yeah, I definitely see the tilt on your right side I was like, okay, like I'm in a very vulnerable position right now. We don't need to say that But so I just started to meet with doctors because I want to pick my doctor and like do the due diligence and met with the surgeon. And it was so cool 'cause the plastic surgeon was showing me pictures of like the before and the after. And like, can I start out a little offensive? 'Cause he was like, "Here are boobs that look like yours." And he pulls up and they're just like, "Two tubes." Like you just just like, and they measure you. They get naked and they call it. They're like, "The sag is 18 centimeters," or something like that. You're just like, "You know, naked and afraid." That's pretty nice of all. Just like-- - Okay, you don't have to say that loud. - Yeah, but he was like, "Okay, so we're gonna do this. "We can save your nipples." And he was like, "And you're never gonna have to wear a bra again." - Wait, you're saying your nipples? - What do you mean? - Because sometimes you can't save the nipples. - Oh, so you're gonna get your nipples. - So apparently, like growing up, I always thought you got the nipples cut off. My mom would have this gene. So she got a double mastectomy. And I know a lot of people who have gotten and they got their nipples off. Apparently it's very common now. They do nipple sparing mastectomies. - Okay. - And they will like reshape your nipples that they fit your new boot. And apparently-- - So it's like nipple tattoos, right? - Yes, so that's why you do nipples. - Yeah, but apparently I've heard from people who have kept the nipple that it makes you feel a lot more like yourself. - Like yourself. - Yeah. - So I'm gonna try to go for that. And hopefully it works. But I was like, "I will never have to wear a bra again." - That score is. - Just nipple covers. - I'm never, I'm never that like, you know? - Just free them in. - I'm so excited. No underwear, no bra. Like my, I'm limitless. - She's a free woman. - I'm limited. Yeah, 'cause do you guys ever not wear bra's? All the time. - I'm basically, in the summer I'm mostly not wearing a bra. - Look, what is that? What do you do? - What's that? - I wear the cakes. I don't even wear the cakes because of my nipples. It's more because I don't want to dump them out by accident, you know? Like it, like dump out these huge jets. - I do. - I do. - For jobs that we were talking about. 'Cause you said dump them out. And I was like, how does that apply to this competition? - Exactly. - No, because I'm always like bending over to help a kid. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - That happened to me. I had my nipple covers on and like I'd tank top and my husband was like, - Oh, okay. - Yeah, but at least if I had the nipple cover on people, we'd be like, ooh, what's that? - Yeah, it's just a simple. - A bare boob. - But the problem is, I found out when I was pregnant that I'm semi-odric to adhesives. - Of course you are. - Of course I am. Me and my two biological daughters, like we can't wear band-aids, we all get rashes. - I was like, we're just allergic to adhesives. So, yeah, it's just, it's just, - That's why if you told that girl, you had three out of 180 things to try followers, you'd be like, no, you don't. - You don't have to. - You don't have to. - I would have banded allergy, I've never got a drug. - I picked up my daughter from school once and the teacher was like, she tried to tell me she's allergic to band-aids today. And I was like, she's not lying. - She's like, who is the allergic to band-aids? Please don't put them on. (laughing) - But so anyways, I wear the cakes, which I love. Like if you're not, they're not an ad. - And a company to support. - Company to support, 'cause they support women. - Yeah. - Child care initiatives. - Yep. - But they do a great advocacy and their cakes are fantastic. - We love cakes. - We love cakes. - Okay, I need a cake. - I need to get some cakes. - Sticky and grippy, I like the grippy that are in a triangle format, because they kind of give you a little lift. - You sure? - So like, if I have time, yeah, you do those. - I have found if I wear them past six hours, my boobs are very itchy, 'cause my allergy starts to kick in. And I get very itchy. - What about sweat proof? - No, they don't fall off, they don't really. - No, I wear them in the summer. I'm pretty much not in a bra most of the time in the summer. I will just be carrying in. - Wow. - But if I'm in like a tight shirt, you want a little lift or shape, you know? - My boobs are fine, but, you know, they could use help sometimes. - Yeah. - Did you guys wear push-up bras in college? Like, I remember just wearing push-up bras with wiring. And I'm like, what the-- - I'm wearing a wire right now. I still wear a wire, I can't wear a wire. - Really? - I know. - Works for a wire. - Yeah, I can't wear a wire. - And for. - It is. - Yeah. - I wear a wire, but I also do not non-wire. - But I usually wear nipple covers. Like, with a dress, like, I never wear a bra with a dress. Like, you can't. I feel like. - I mean, you can. - But this is the problem with big boobs. - I was so beholden to, like, a certain section of the store, because, like, especially in the summer, I can't wear so many things, because I need a bra and I need support. - Yeah. - Like, even strapless bras, it's like-- - I was gonna ask, does anyone have a good strapless bra, they recommend me? - No, not bra. - Because that's another one that I would recommend before I had kids. But now, like, it's like running around chasing my kids. - I don't, and I-- - But I also can't take-- - Hold on, hold on. - Nowadays, I'm like, why would I wear it? I'll just go to no bra. - Yeah. - I'd rather go to no bra, so I cannot wait for, like, the second half of my life to begin. - I will say, I have friends who have larger breasts, and, like, we were asked, we were talking about bras and the group chat, and then they were asking me which one I wear, and all my friends were, ooh, I'm bigger, but we were like, "Page." That was an insult, like, we can't wear that. - Yeah. - And I was like, I don't know that's just the bra that I wear. - Well, it's just, by default, I feel so matrily. It's like, I have these-- - For the kids. - For the kids, for apps, yeah. - It's just like, you know, it's just like, you feel like you should-- I'm milk, I don't know. - It's just too much. - I feel like it was a Nikki Glaser, one of the comedians was doing a whole bit on, like, bras, and how, like, teenagers wear, like, you know, they have, like, one class in the back, and she's like, "No, I need, like, three-class, big straps, like a jostle." - Oh my gosh, my sports bra is double-class, the band is, like, literally, I stick this my face. It's, like, it needs to be, like, an airplane secure. - Yeah, I just need to figure out the nipple cover situation, 'cause after breastfeeding two kids, like-- - The nipples are down right into the band. - It's, yeah, there's just a new-- - My plastic surgeon would love that. - Yeah, let me figure out if I'm going to-- - We're going to have a third kid first, and then, yeah, no, they're not cock-eyed, they're just, they're just pointing down. And it's, like, how do we cover that, you know, it's like-- - You gotta get, you're going to have to get the small cakes, it's just a fly and just a nipple there. And get the triangles, you can pull those bad boys up. - All right. - Yeah. - I pour back. - I, um, I, yeah, I wear the nipple covers pretty much, I will wear a wire bra. I would, bra'll have to kind of out. - I don't have anything, like, my sister-- - No bandos, no neon bandos. - Oh, and the on bandos. No, but, you know, my sister makes fun of me because she-- I mostly wear nude and black. Like, that's pretty much all I wear. - Yeah, I mean, that's responsible to-- - Yeah, that's responsible to-- - For a protest-- - For a protest and underwear. - Yeah. - And she's like, "Man, your life is so sad." - Where's the fun? - And I'm like, "What do you mean? I don't need to have a fun-- - What do you mean, like, a leopard print underwear? - Yeah, there's no waist, there's no frill, there's no color. And I'm like, "No, it's just a nude or a black. " - It's just reliable. - Yeah, 'cause you never know what you wear. I don't want to have like the pink you can only wear in a certain colors. I don't want to be beholden to certain colors. So that's all it's clear. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I agree. And I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. But she made me feel quite self conscious about how unfun I am with my undergarments. No, I think people just like to make fun of you for being unfun. She does. You're really such stars are for that's what this is for. Page speaking of fun. I do know that you do like restaurants though. Right? Fun restaurants. I eat. I eat. Okay. Well, we're all going to be foodies for this segment here. So okay, we a couple episodes back. We ranked the Disney original movie Disney channel original movies. And I feel like we need to rank some restaurants now. So I took a little list of sit down casual dining. So we're not talking fast food here. We're taking Applebee's. Yeah. Like like that's one of them. So I want you to think she's capable. She's capable. Wait. What are they ranking? Yeah. How are you? So who's going to start yelling? I just love any reason to talk about the cheesecake that three. Okay. So well, it's interesting because I asked she said Blooming. So she's outbacks on the list on their baby cheese fries are so fucking good. I would go eat those right now. Wait, I need to find out if she was cheesecake factory. Not on the side. Guys, everything would be okay. Okay. So first I got the list and it was saying I said I want to like millennial core restaurants and then I mean, can you rank them from like the most of course? What does that money look like? Where do the old just Google go? Well, this is a Google uses AI now. Did you see that you can just scroll past? Well, they have their own. Gemini's their own anyways. We have two different to pick from. Okay. We have some that are just like the classics and then we have some. I asked them to rank it in order of like the largest grossing sales. So like the most successful of these sit down cheesecake factory. Okay. So would you like to go for the like most popular or would you like to go popular? I don't want to do math. No, I'm not saying that you have to do math. I was just going to tell you how successful I am. So cheesecake factory number three. Okay. Why did you only answer one page that it's chili? No, no. Tillies is number five. Apple bees. Apple bees is number 25. I think Apple bees is number seven. Wait, you think it's disgusting? Guys, that's like my child. What? That was nostalgia. It's not that I'm like, Oh, I love Apple. Okay. So you can say I love it, but it's objectively like disgusting. It's terrible. Like I do no. It's much like a quality. Is that them? I'm loving. It's an animal. It's an animal. What's their jingle? Let's have a wheeze jingle. No, they have a jingle. No, remember they did that. So we're fancy like Apple bees. They had the old one. There was an old one. Jingle. I thought they did. No, that is not it. That's chillies. Maybe back ribs. Yeah. I don't believe that. Maybe back ribs can be your friend. Yeah. Something on the neighborhood. Yeah. Okay. So wait. So I'm sorry. What are we ranking again? We're just ranking our favorite restaurant. So I can give you a listen. You can tell me that we're clearly not going to agree. Well, let's see if we can get the first one. Okay. Is it outback? No. Outback is number six. Okay. So now we've got I'll give you what you have. Three cheesecake factory. Nothing. Five chillies. Six outback seven Apple bees. B. Dobs. B. Dobs is eight. What is B. Dobs? Buffalo. Wow. We never had that near me growing up. B. Dobs. That's number three. Yeah. No, no, no, sorry. Number eight. Number eight. So we need one. A fooder's is one. No. Oh, you're thinking about those jobs. Oh, my fooders isn't on there. Why? The fooders still exist. Yeah. We're having a day trying to be a little bit more family friendly. Well, I mean, the damage is done. Yeah. I mean, I think yeah, whatever. I have a couple of friends who are hooters, girls for a while. I can give you a hint for one of them. That's just like going to totally give it away. Well, okay. I'll give you the type of cuisine. [BLANK_AUDIO] - Oh, Olive Garden. - Thank you. - Is that number one? - Two. There's another Italian that's number 10. - Courabas? - Courabas is one. - I've worked at Courabas for six years. - I worked at restaurants. - We never had to have a Courabas near. - We had a Portuguese. - Yeah, it's a Portuguese. - Mainly it started in Florida, so Florida. - Okay, now we have two. I would put them in the country. - Texas Roadhouse. - Texas Roadhouse. - Texas Roadhouse. - Number one. - Is number one? - Cracker Royal. - Cracker Royal, number nine. - You got 'em all. - Texas Roadhouse, actually, their roles are delicious. - Okay, my brother lived in Texas for a really long time. Down there, they like line dance. - At the Texas Roadhouse. - They also do that up here. - What, I never would've worked at Texas Roadhouse in Massachusetts, and they had to dance on the tables and stuff and like every shift. - I never saw that. - That's giving like coyote ugly. I would love that. - Yeah, they got to dance, but it's also an allergen nightmare with all the peanuts. - With the peanuts. - Yeah. - Yeah. - You don't go there if you have a nut out. - But the fact that it's number one, is that number one? - Yeah, okay, so let's run through them. - Like in America, to have a nut just rescue. - It's just like full of fuckin' nuts. - And it just jumps. - And it just jumps. - Yeah, okay, so I'm gonna give you the top 10, and I want you to ruminate on them, and I want you to think of your top three for yourself. Okay, so one, Texas Roadhouse, two, Olive Garden, three, Cheesecake Factory, four, longhorn, five. - Longhorn. - But only a man. - Oh, we forgot about that one. Sorry, that was the only way to get. - I used to, like, they had a good honey mustard dressing. - Everybody's like, "This is so loud." - Everybody's like, "This is so loud." Five chillies, six outback, seven Apple Bs, eight Bdubs, nine cracker, male, and ten carabas. So what are your top three? - I just feel like, the fact that Cheesecake Factory's on the list with some of those is offensive. - Yeah, Cheesecake Factory's part is a scratch picture. - It's a scratch picture. - Yeah, it's a scratch picture. - It is a scratch picture. - My brother is a manager at a Cheesecake Factory. Does a scratch picture? - I understand. The menu is way too big. - I'm telling you, they go there at 3 a.m. everyday, like the sauces and make everything. - So I have a friend who dated up a baker at Panera and they do break everything fresh every day. - Okay, but they also keep their promise. - The macaroni and cheese and the broccoli cheddar soup out of a bag, a frozen bag and they heat it up. Like Cheesecake Factory's genuinely scratch. - I don't like Panera. - Oh yeah, I don't either. - I can't eat there. - I don't like Cheesecake Factory. - They're broccoli cheddar soup. - At a future episode, we will rank more of the fast casual or in the fast foods. So we're talking to sit down. What are your top three? - Cheesecake Factory. - I admittedly haven't been to a Cheesecake Factory in 10 years. - I'm not blessed there. We still go frequently. - I think I need to go. - They're brown. - They're not so good. - Isn't there one in Times Square? - We can just go right now. - We can zoom in and a Hugo Spritz and, okay. So now, looking at this list, the one I've been, yeah, most recently, it's also like two minutes from my house as a chellies. - Okay. - A triple depper maybe. - We had a chellies growing up. - I would go, chellies, cheesecake factory, and outback steak house. What would be my top? Was that back on the list? - It was. - Yeah, that bread. - Their fricking Aussie cheese fries are so fucking good. - And a bread, they have really good cheese. - I'm showing it. - I know this is against a lot. - You're gonna say Applebee's. - Oh, it's fucking awesome. - Chellies, Applebee's, and honestly, give me the limitless bread sticks, all of Garden. - Oh, awesome, y'all. - That's so good. - That's so nice. - I'm a list of salad. - Their dressing flaps. - Yeah, I agree with that, but-- - But BW3 is probably the one I've been to the most in the past however many years, just for a couple of games. - The fact that you guys call it that. - BDubs, so when I lived in Florida, like when I did my Disney internship, everybody went out to BDubs. That was like the plate, they would do karaoke. - I don't like trying to beat us. - It's like a sports bar. - It's a culture where they're like wings and-- - I know what they are. I just, you guys are feeding into the culture. BDubs, I mean, sorry we wanna have a good time. - Whatever, I would have so much hard burn after that plate. - I mean, you did. - That's more of the times, yeah, it's fine. Okay, your top three. - Obviously, the factory. - The factory. - It's delicious. - Yeah, it's delicious. - I'm gonna try to go more. That's gonna be a takeaway for me. - They have a skinny girl menu, which I'm so excited about. - So I'm gonna have to have some. - Skinny lishes. - She's set that aside. - Yeah, I actually saw a really, I think I reposted it. It was a TikTok where this guy was like, I'm gonna do the branding for the cheesecake factory. And he came out with a merch line. And he was like, this is the merch line I would make. And when I tell you, cheesecake factory should do it because it would, like-- - It was lame. - Yeah, one of them, which he was like, I would do a juicy track suit with on the butt. It says, like, skinny lishes. (laughing) But I like cheesecake factory. I've been to Chili's once. I thought it was-- - Once in your life. - Yeah, just 'cause like-- - We had one in our town. - We had one in college. - Yeah, when I moved to Northern California for a little bit, all my coworkers at Netflix, they were like, you've never been to Chili's. We went, we did it in Netflix and Chili's. - Yeah, that's cute. - Yeah, it was way pass it's heyday. - They do like funny thing with things. Like they did when Wicked came out, they did a alphabena galinda marina. - Yeah, that was cute. - So my mom and I went, like, before we went, it was like right by my house. So we got those and let me explain. - Actually, I went to a Chili's when I was in California. I was going to a Jay-Z concert in San Diego and the closest place to the venue was a Chili's. - You were at a Jay-Z concert. - I sure were. - No one offered you drugs? - There were so many drugs. Nobody offered them to me, but there was so like, always in proximity. - It was like, the whole venue was a caught of smoke inside the chili's house. - I didn't have to ask. They were just in my system. - They were in you. - I felt very nervous. I was like, what if I get drug tested? - Yeah, and then I'm going to make my last one just because I worked there for so long and I'm loyal to the Karabas Krabas. - Although I do love Alpac. - I've heard many things about Karabas. - Alpac is so good. - Yeah, also a lot of things from scratch. At Karabas and Alpac. - Look at you with your knowledge. - I actually don't know if that's still a thing 'cause private equity and stuff. - Private equity. - I was right by my kid's swim class place on my desk. - I mean, that's a good one. - It's pretty good. - I mean, it's a lot better than Hulk Garden. - I don't know. - I was saying the quality of the food. - Oh, I'm sure, but again, I'm not going for the food. - I'm not. - I'm not going to these places because I want good food. I'm going for nostalgia. - Yeah. - Don't you agree? - I'm not going. - Maybe she's cake factory. - Maybe cheesecake factory. Like, I'll give you that one 'cause I haven't been in a while, but. - They're cheesecake, they had at one point. I mean, we're well past this and they had a 40th anniversary cheesecake. - What's the thing for? - It was a really good cheesecake. - What was it? - It just had like a little layer of chocolate on the bottom. It was just, I like a simple cheesecake. Like, if I'm actually going to buy a cheesecake at a restaurant, I want like a blueberry compote cheesecake. - Yeah. - It's a slice of cheesecake. - I've gotten like that in my early age. - Yeah, the other end. - You have a cheesecake which is a little fruit on top. - Yeah. - I don't want to be like the Reese's one. - And I'm really. - I love a crem really. - I don't know why. - I feel like I've gotten a whole lot of cheesecake factory. - Oh, I don't know. I haven't been in 10 years. - I've been saying that. - But I'm saying it's like a relay cheesecake. - Flying dining thing usually have like a crem relay. And it's very simple. Where it's just like vanilla and you crack it and you have your little raspberries and it's simple. - Tiramisu. - Tiramisu. - Tiramisu. - Tiramisu. Delicious. - I don't really like tiramisu. - Yeah, maybe. - I would go like a canola. - Oh, I love canola. - Good canola. - Hey, you're in a great place to get a canola tonight. - I love canola. - Yeah. - Yeah, they're so good. (upbeat music) - Okay, so something I've been thinking about. - Okay. - And I think we sometimes are a little bit man-hating on the podcast. - Speak for yourself. - I've actually had a few people come to me and be like, you guys are man-haters. - Which like, whatever. - You know, if the. - I'm not asking them to change. - The tapes play. But I think, you know, throughout the week, there are men that like I stumble upon that I'm like, I really like that man. You know, and I feel like, sometimes I feel bad. Because I'm like, we shouldn't include. - All men. - All men. Like I think we should come up. It's like the biblicals, the mat's mat and the Luke. We love that. - Right? - Is there a David we can add to it? - There's got to be a David. - There's a David we can add to it. - There's definitely a Daniel, yeah that's not the same name. - I want to come up with like a notepad, like a list of men that we really like because I want them to be to know that they are like appreciated. - Yeah, appreciated. - And then as the years go on we have one man. - Matt, Matt, Luke, Gabe, Derek. And then I had a few that I wanted to add because that's what like came up in my mind. - Matt, we get fucked by this with later. - There's always got to be disclaimers if we don't know some of these. - Guys, I have to say, I've had this in my pocket for like a few weeks because it's like you really have to think about adding. You have to be really strategic. - Cause like think about it. Like we talked about like the West Wilson of it all, like from summer house. Like he was so you know feminist appearing, secretly a snake, secretly happens a lot. So I want to propose adding three famous Matt. - Okay. - Number one, Ed Sheeran. - Okay, I don't get you. - Approved. - I feel like he's been around for so long. - He's with his wife forever. - He's a great guy. - He's so talented. - He's open about his eating disorder. Love that. - I didn't even know about that. - He's great. - It's very specific to my knees. - He's great. - But a lot of guys don't open up about it. - Yeah. - He's very open. - We can add Noah. - We can add Noah. - Okay. - Okay. - That can be one of yours. - Well maybe we, okay. I'm gonna put them up for vote. And then we can say if we want to add them to that. - Okay. - So Ed Sheeran, - So Ed Sheeran. - Yeah. - I don't know a lot about him. - I'm gonna be honest. - Have you watched his like eating like a show? - Yeah. - I haven't, but I'm open to learning. - Okay. - He should be there. - What do you know about him? - He's really nice. - Yeah. - He seems fun. - And with the US women's hockey teams and he like take them all. - I don't know. He's a large feminist. - Yeah. - I think his only red flag was his character in the lovely bones. - But that's, we can't. - That was scary. - That was scary. - That was scary. - Did you read that book? When I was a kid. - I might not let me read that book. You're responsible such a scary but see like I feel like my mom wanted me to read it to put the fear in me as like never go with strangers You're going to get buried underground at murder elementary school. Oh my god Yeah, I didn't read this one, but okay, you never saw lovely bones. Oh, no, I know you cannot forget it Yeah, you guys are traumatized. It's clear. You're for I'm like, yeah, I'm right. You know You seem to love me. Yeah, you read the book or see the movie you you know. Yeah, so oh my gosh Anyways, okay, yes, that was damage should we add Stanley? Do you want it? Do you want to take more? Okay, yeah, I trust if it's a two for if it's a two out of three. I try to research yeah, um, and then counter reefs Oh, that seems like a strange one We know enough about can we have a good game? Would you agree with me that can't or use this an amazing stand-up guy who deserves to be at it His his daughter and his wife are a partner also died as well. His daughter and his wife died So he had a partner who is having a baby and she Yeah, oh my gosh, so she died in shop are there was was still born. Oh my gosh, and then ten years later She died in the car accident. Oh my god Oh, wait. She did It's his partner his partner and he is just known to be like the most charitable Wonderful person. Oh, yeah instant ad Also, okay, he's epic. See all I think about canna reefs is the movie with Sandra Bullock speed. That's called by its name No, I'm thinking of a different one. That's the one when he's the baseball coach to the little kids hardball. Yeah That movie like took the world by storm I feel I don't know where that came from bye. Okay, if you want to do want to research Okay, yeah, yeah, I am pitch a man. Yeah No, we talk about it last week. He cheated on his wife and left her. Yeah, come on You could do a little more background. Here's thing. I like Hugh Jackman I actually like Hugh Jackman, and I don't want to judge anyone. Here's thing 50% of the world cheats That's just how it goes 50% of people will be you know, is that the shit? It's literally it's pretty high It's like at some point in their life. Not necessarily on their marriage partner, but like at some point in their life It's like 50% of people backtrack me people, but like yeah a large majority people at some point will commit in fidelity In some form or another and it just so happens that it seems as though the timetables of Hugh Jackman's new girlfriend and his And to his marriage may have overlapped Okay, it is all legit. It's a legit. I still like Hugh Jackman. Here's thing. We can put him on the secondary list Which is like we have our top list and our next list. I had a kid on their way back to the top Hugh Jackman I love him for great a show. I don't know. Here's my thing. Those this list is like forever. Oh, you're looking at it Oh, we hear O's from Gabe in the car Years like 30 years and then left her Sutton Foster not wife. She's an actress. Ah, she's younger than his wife, but not by that much She's I think she's in a good way. Yeah, she's not like a 20 something because that's to be it. They met. They met and I think doing a Broadway show I really I actually really like Sutton Foster and you too, but I think she might have also been married I don't know I think that's very common in like the Broadway sphere. Also, it's like they work so much work so much Yeah, I would never be able to handle having a husband who was like an actor or a Broadway star You know, the off campus of it all how Dean's fiancee or wife like told him to go and do that role I'm like you are a strong woman. I know that's true. Okay, so did you have people that I did I had a few yeah, okay Propose them for nomination. Okay. I have my first one is Pedro Pascal. Oh, yeah, every last page Oh, wait, no, everybody loves him. My whole thing is like he's very topical right now. Okay, so that's why he came to mind I think he can be put on the slate for nomination in the future. I think we need you to give him some time give him some time Maybe because he's I feel like he's so new. He's actually not new. I think he's been around for a really long time It's just that he's getting his flowers. He's has the moment. He's getting his flowers. Okay. Okay, then we can I mean we get it's a democracy Okay, well, vitamin Seth Meyers was another one. I've done a lot of deep diving on him and listen to it I know that's weird very strange. So I love I'm a big I'm a big SNL fan. I love SNL I also love as you know a free promotion for a good hang by Amy puller No, that's your favorite podcast. That's my favorite after the job And he's been on there and he just looks up to Amy puller so much and she was like his big sister I just like he's he loves women. He like Amy puller is his like idol and I loved like seeing that dynamic because I feel like in Show business and in this like world you don't see that like you see like the man Yeah, okay, and I just I like everybody that he performs. I think yeah, we just after we make our list We will then come back together and check it on the Google make sure we feel good about our list Because sometimes things sneak past us like gave you here in Hugh Jackman. Oh, yeah, that's why I think we got it Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll add Noah I love Noah. Yeah Mine is not being like an SNL cast list. That was how much I did see have you guys seen this going around the internet We're women are saying that instead of when men do bad things and all men go not all men whenever we hear other Man, dude good things. We all go not all men No, it's fair. I mean Hey, so do you have anybody besides? No, I you know you sprung this on me When you sprung it in the group chat. I go that was hard. Are you sprung it on me? What men do I love other than my husband? I was on the Sun. I was in a tizzy. I was on the train angry at this woman I knew said what men do you like and I like no one right now. I'm pretty furious. I can't come on Yeah, I think it's more of like a thought for the future. Just like we have our ideal guest list Khrushal Khrushal. She's the only person on it. Oh my god. I love it. They both came on. Yes. He's very tight in the studio. Yeah We can't have five people in here. Yeah, I will think if there's there's definitely people I would Yeah, I just think in the middle of you know our conversations if we ever think of a man that we like truly enjoy They can be nominated to be at. I also think it's fair to say this is my little asterix for the man hating comments I'm a big advocate for men being supported and praised and good people obviously I talk about that a lot, but I also think We're doing Silly ha ha joking. Yeah about men Hockey he's and the whole the whole we actually really love men and care about men is But well, even the way we talk about men in our real life like I bet if you met any of us in person You wouldn't ever say that about us. Yeah, you know what I mean, but I think like on a large scale There are so many jokes made about women being crazy and annoying. Yeah, not enough jokes made about men So it's also like the bear like the bear of it all right. It's like Men are still the ones doing like violent crimes. Well, it's like salt. I know I saw another Women really keep yelling about equity, but they haven't committed to have the murders yet, and it's like right I commented that back to somebody who called us a violent on our one of our posts There was a lot of women being violent. It's time for some equality. This whole thing when people say fragile like ego Yeah, like the male ego we were talking about wet towels a couple weeks ago Yeah, comments on that post from the men are insane. They're so sniffing insane Like we didn't say any we didn't say you guys are gross. We say said why are your towels wet? Why didn't they say yeah? Why are they wet and they took that personally personally? Yeah, I don't even think we're a man hating That wasn't even hating. We're just and the funny thing is my husband I told Katie this in the cab the next week when he was Showering and spreading his towel out and I was like what's going on? He's like you're right. It's always wet I literally was on the toilet and saw that one like scrolling and he goes hey, and he goes, you know, my towel is wet He was like why is it all for me? It was less of a mean man hating comment more of like a hypothesis scientific question Like what's going on? What is happening? It's a man's fear and a towel. It's always wet. My towel is dry It is defying the laws of like humidity and Evaporation and saturation They're more like there's something going on. Yeah, they're saying it's the body hair by the way in case anybody was wondering every thing is the body hair I'm just you don't have that much body here. Also, do you not do the quick like that's what I do when I get out of the shower I wipe the water off before I get my towel Oh, yes, I shut the water off. I take my hands like oh Like a little squeegee my hair sure don't I do my hair. I do my hair. I do squeegee my hair Anyways, that's off topic. Anyways, we love the men. Yeah, I love men. We'll keep working on our list Yeah, I don't think we have to go as far as they love men We showed cranky exceptions to the rule and give flowers were flowers Yeah, maybe maybe some of these brave men will come on one day and we can honor them You never know. We'll have an award. Yeah, that's ceremony. There's a high high bar. Yeah You know, maybe Hugh Jackman and Ed Sheeran will be here. Summary:

FAQs

The speaker feels frustrated because men often take up multiple seats, especially on trains and planes, which blocks space for others and makes it difficult for people to find room to sit. This is particularly upsetting when the person has a smaller frame or is self-conscious about their body.

The speaker believes Gen Z often displays a lack of basic courtesy in customer service, such as not responding to requests or looking at customers dismissively, contrasting with the more attentive behavior of previous generations.

The speaker finds it disrespectful and unkind when a woman takes over the entire seat with a movie and eye patches, looking at people in the aisle and making others feel uncomfortable or judged.

The speaker uses this to describe having a very slender, limb-heavy body with little to no abdomen, which makes them more sensitive to men taking up space or spreading their legs on public transport.

The speaker has experienced being pushed at a checkout at Costco when pregnant and feels that people often fail to get up for those in need, which reflects a broader lack of respect and common courtesy in public spaces.

The speaker has BRCA2 mutation and is considering a double mastectomy for breast cancer prevention, and is excited about the possibility of getting reconstruction and never needing to wear a bra again.
