109m 45s
This episode of "Memes Throughout the Ages" kicks off with birthday celebrations for Super Mega Man 10, who turns 18, leading to humorous banter about adulthood, potential Discord exposés, and the group's history of controversial jokes. The central topic is the "Steamed Hams" meme from The Simpsons episode "22 Short Films About Springfield," first aired in 1996. The hosts delve into its origins, including an Urban Dictionary post from 2007, viral YouTube remixes like "Steamed Hams Inc." with Gorillaz's "Feel Good Inc.," and a 2026 anniversary event in Albany, New York, featuring writer Bill Oakley. They also role-play the iconic scene, with Mega Man reading the script, and share a story about Simpsons creator Chris O'Neill cutting someone in line. The "Meme Games" segment has hosts mixing past memes, with entries like "Santa the Diddy" and "Rock and Tel Aviv" earning points. Criticism Castle features listener reviews, a discussion on where newcomers should start the podcast (ranging from episode 1 to later seasons), and a fan-written narrative continuing an elaborate meme universe. News updates cover Fortnite's sprite system controversies, Mega Man's streaming growth, BCA's video projects, and preparations for the milestone 300th episode, including a Q&A and potential Patreon special. The episode blends nostalgia, humor, and community engagement.
Hello. My name is Remtgm and I'm VCR and I'm Super Mega Man 10 and welcome to Memes throughout the ages. Everyone, welcome to the podcast. So, happy birthday, Mega Man, it's Mega Man's birthday. I am officially an adult now. Yup. Yeah, it's, you know, it's whatever. Start allegations right now. Hmm, predicting the Google Doc in the next three weeks. Yeah. What do you think would be included in an MTA Google Doc? I would assume literally every time we have told someone to kill themselves and why that has been a controversial thing. I feel like a lot of those times are justified because they're predators. I feel like they are, but like I feel like some people might, like, take, I don't know, I just feel like some people might blow it out of purport. I know telling someone to kill themselves is like a very, you know, heavy thing, but like these people have a message at like two o'clock in the morning. I'm like, maybe we should cut back on telling people they killed themselves. Yeah, well, okay, every person besides Nick Cheesy, I don't know why I said that that was just me out of habit saying to kill yourself. I'm pretty sure all of them have deserved it. Yeah, because we've said it to like Dale, you've said it. Dale looks, talk you know, uh, Christian, Christian's debatable, not really. Whatever. That one point. Yeah, hey guys. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The way they say it. Mega Man 18 now runs 18. Oh, I forgot about that. Yeah. I forgot your 18. No, I forgot about the, the, the, the, the, the way they think I thought. Yeah. When we, we made a whole episode talking about Israel and we made jujokes the whole time. We love Israel. Uh, you know, I don't know. We respect Jewish people, but Israel. We said it like four. I don't get, they need to know it again anyway. So loodster for Mega Man's birthday. Here we go. A loodster coming up on the house. I'm the only minor now on the MTT crew. I'm going to make a YouTube video about how you guys exploited me. Yeah. Yeah. And sexual grooming. That's going to be good. No, I was thinking more money exploits. Oh, wow. No, I'm good. Anyway, look at that guys. I run. Yeah. Oh, yeah. All right. Well, yeah. Hey, Super Mega Man 10 happy birthday. Also, Super Mega Man 10. What is our meme for today? Our meme for today is steamed hams. Yeah. Yeah. This is like our birth sensor, man. And I think we have all been done by Mega Man. Uh, I can, Fred, I can probably guarantee you they've all been done by Mega Man. But, uh, me and BCA will actually be larping today since we don't watch the Simpsons. Mega Man will not be, though, because he's on what season 17. Yeah. Oh, my God. That's a lot of Simpsons. Yeah. Um, I think like, I mean, I'm getting close to like watching the movie being a little quiet, buddy. I think I'm getting close to watching the movie. I think so too. I mean, you should be because it's like, yeah, because like, I'm getting close to season 18. And then like, eventually at some point during the season, like, like before season 19, but not near the end of season 18, I'll have to watch the movie. Yeah. I think the only, listen, the only thing I know about Simpsons is, uh, the Simpsons, uh, and, uh, I played the Lego Dimensions level in like 2017. But that was a cool level. I like that one. It was fun. We're in companies. Oh, yeah. And I dressed up as Homer last year for Halloween because, uh, what do you do? Homerole. Well, I just, I just realized you know, nothing about Simpsons and you went to somewhere. Yeah, cool. Cause it's the, you know, a barber shop, you know. Yeah, yeah. Barber shop here. Oh, I think that a very, very filmmaking videos about that. It makes me so happy. Barber Boy is like an essential character to the sneaker verse. Him, him, the Curctado and sneaker's old tool going adventures in sneaker world. Yeah, uh, they became the big bad both one of them. Yeah. It's pretty cool. You know, let them go. I think he's out. Anyway, uh, I mean for today, steamed him. Oh, my God, steamed hams is a skit between Principal Skinner and superintendant. Sorry, trauma is going to larp here. Um, in one of the Simpsons episodes, um, and in the scene, what happens is, uh, I, I feel like mega man would be the appropriate person to consult for this, but I'm the, yeah, the mega man. Can you explain what happens in the scene? And then I'll talk about like, what happened to me? So what happened? It's supposed to be like 26 short, like, skits. And this part of the episode is where Skinner invites charmers for dinner. And it was supposed to be steamed clams, but he burnt the roast. And so he decided why don't I just cover this up with crusty burgers and make it like my own food. And then like, there's like this whole back and forth conversation thing. And then like he burns his house down. And a mother is yelling at him. I never worry Alice is in his kitchen. Yeah. Don't they call them what it would at least they say it in the episode, like, um, steamed hams is what they call hamburgers and Albany or something like that. Am I, am I making that up? I'm going to, like, I want to read the script to it. So problem. Oh, okay. It does say something about it somewhere else. But I swear to God, Albany was mentioned. Yeah, it's like, like, upper, um, uh, like, upper New York and Albany or something like that. I don't know. We'll get to it. Don't worry. Um, uh, yeah, you can, it's a good one. Did you get that one? Yeah, you know, for a minute there, I didn't. And then like, I thought about it more. And I was like, ah, you know, it's really hard, but it's so certainly interest. Yeah. So the meme, what happened was people would take this clip and, um, they, they'd post it because it's like, uh, steamed hams get it. It's like a, it's like a quotable meme because it's, you know, it's a, it's a thing, you know, what, what a lot of people, when there's like, um, an iconic sounding, I don't know, object or thing in a meme, such as steamed hams, you know, because that's a unique thing. You're not going to hear that anywhere else. So steamed hams, that's an easily memeable thing. Another thing would be like, um, I don't know, in Rick and Morty, Jesus Christ, such a one sauce. Like, you know, they didn't invent it, but, you know, it's how I saw it writing us is trying to get like the word. Hey, I'm trying to think here about what to compare this to. Um, I feel like the joke about steamed hams was people like remixed and stuff. Yeah, I might have been, I've seen multiple people do it. Um, one of the, one of the, the ones that's like the most popular is the one of the, the one girl is song. You know, I'm talking about, uh, we maybe think about different mega men. You know the one, right? I think I'm just talking about the videos like called steam and steamed hams ink. Yeah, yeah, that one. Oh, I haven't seen that video. I haven't seen it. You haven't? That's like, that's like, that's like John steamed hams. Like the video. Oh, oh, like my, on my YouTube thing where it does show up, but I actually haven't seen it. I didn't know that was a carol as far as I thought it was steam. Yeah, it's, it's feel good. Yeah. So, uh, steamed hams ink is one of like where it became popular. The meme became popular from and it's a remix of the song. Feel good ink by the gorillas. Um, but a lot of people would put it steamed hams with a all star. There's a few in here all star. Um, wake me up when September hams. That's, I see that. A bunch of different songs here. And also there was one where there's like several animators. We animated the whole scene. There's that video of steamed hams.
Oh, oh yeah, I see I see what you're talking about steam tams, but there's a different animator every 13 seconds Interesting So yeah, that's where steam tams we came popular from was people remixing it I wonder if there's it. Do you guys think there's a sparta remix of steam tams? Let me see I will look right now steam Sparta Yep, who would have thought I'm pretty sure what let me let me check this hold on let me take a listen I'm getting an ad on this video. Let me see here. Let me see. Okay, great nice nice a lad See where we're giving people once we're billionaires, so we should be able to afford YouTube premium I'm never buying YouTube premium you could not make me Um, I'm buying premium of like nothing Call me a cheap skid. I don't I don't want to do that Okay, I can't tell it either way. It's a remix. It's a logo kid remix thing, you know, it's Well, how do you know they're a logo kid around maybe they're a normal person who Maybe any normal person just makes a steam tams sparta remix have you ever considered that? Yeah, you know You know, someone did know I just told you. Yeah, well, you know someone did one third uh, three years ago, so Oh, the one I looked at was like eight years ago. Yeah, there's multiple of them. Don't worry Um So yeah, a lot of people would take that scene which we will describe in a minute. Uh, should we should we say what the scene Should we have Mega Man read the the scene script now and then Play it. Well, okay, the whole thing is like it's an entire bit like a two-minute long dead Well, I don't think it's the whole script here. I think it's the like the the whole script on And on nor you mean there's like a short script of it, but I found the I found it. Okay, don't don't read the whole thing read the no your mean thing. Uh, okay That's good. I don't think we can Hold it. What? Yeah, actually hold on Yes, wait let's let's let's do a let's do like a like a role flight thing Let's oh my god. I'm sure it showed immediately on Apple music Uh, not Apple podcasts even though it takes like a half hour for anything You're just like scared of admitting it. You know what I am scared Okay, all right. What are we doing here? What are we is Mega Man reading all of it? What do we do? I don't think we should have an entire Simpsons bit red. I don't think People care that much Well, we can make it funny. We don't have to like like monitor Make Simpsons like over over act with it. You know, just like no, I hate having fun No fun allowed Okay, what do we want to do here? What's what's what's the game plan? I don't know. Oh my god. Do you want me to flip a coin? I don't care. I'm going to read the entire thing. Okay, the the whole thing Yes, cuz I fell along. Let me see that. How long is it gonna be like 15 pages? We're not reading all of this. This is like three pages. What? No, read them on your meme one. It just like doesn't even get through like half of it. Okay, no wait, let me see you hold on. Like there's there's that Okay, I I guess okay, okay, Mega Man, you want to read all of it? Yes, okay Go ahead. Okay, here we go Well, see more. I made it despite your directions. Oh, superintendent charmer's welcome I hope you're prepared for a unforgettable launch on Yeah My roasted brewing, but what if I were to purchase fast food and disguise it as my own cooking Delight from the devilish scene It's principle Skinner takes off his apron and opens the window. I'm hope you're ready for mouth watering hamburgers I thought I thought we were having steam clams. Don't know. I said steams. That's what I call hamburgers You call hamburgers steamed hams. Yes, it's a regional dialect Uh-huh what region uh upstate New York Really? Well, I'm from Utica, and I've never heard anyone use the phrase steam clams. Oh, not in Utica. No, it's in how? I knew it I see Polkfell Superintendent charmer takes a bite from the hamburger. You know these hamburgers are quite similar to the ones they have the crusty burger Oh Paytented Skinner's burger. Old family recipe for steamed hams. Yes Yes, and you can call them steam hams despite the fact that they are always grilled You know the one thing I should excuse me for one second of course Principal Skinner leaves the table and opens the kitchen door walking inside Sakes them up saying we started. Hey guys. It's me Charlie. Yeah, it's it's a it's a commercial break Sorry to interrupt you watching. I'm sorry listening to mega man play the Simpsons Um, uh little little advertisement here um, I have it. What are you advertising? I have it back up. I uh what I'm got. Listen um So yeah Okay, all right, we're done Okay, Principal Skinner leaves the table and opens the kitchen door walking inside as the door swings open It is it is clear that the kitchen is on fire. He walks back out he walks back out and the odds Well, that was wonderful good times that is had by all I'm pooped Yes, I should be super 10 charmers notices the fire for the swimming kitchen door Good lord. What is happening in there or a borealis But a borealis at this time of year at this time of day and this part of the country Localize entirely within your kitchen. Yes May I see it? No Principal Skinner leaves super intended charmers outside. Seymour Seymour the house is on fire. No mother. It's just the northern lights Well, Seymour you are an odd fellow, but I must say you steam a good hand Super dim charmers starts to walk away Seven skinner's that's in front of his burning house. Help help and that's the end of the scene Great, oh I love to take it the Broadway pal What Okay, I made a really funny joke and you just negated it by saying what I'm really mad at you No, I get it
I like ruining everything. You should kick me off. Yeah, you know, I should. I'm going to replace you with Ducco. No, don't do that. I won't because I'll never show off. He said he hates the podcast, but he's the number one. He said sooner a he says he hates everything, but he's always here. He's always like like begging for him for approval from people in here. Like, oh, guys, look at my look at look at what I got at the game store. I got the the yokai watch. You guys look at it. I'm not a deraise soon, soon, deraise. That's Ducco. Can we get an AI rendition of Ducco singing that right now? Spent up to 16 times speed. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Ducco's busy right now. Yeah, I know what he's doing, too. He's um, he's finishing the yay. I'll be that he said he was going to oh, oh, oh, no locks. Yeah, I can't wait to play that. I'm excited for it. I am excited. I played his other two. I'm excited. Anyway, um, yeah, origin, sonic origin, all right. Oh, paid 50 for that when it came out. Yeah. Thanks, Wendy is for that ad. Um, all right. Suit. Uh, no, sorry. B B C A. Yeah, I did. Yeah, I did. Yeah, I was going to play the audio from the meme, but I'm pretty sure you guys get the point. Yeah, I don't. Can you use that? That isn't protected, right? Should I you I can I can use steam tams ink. I think like a small snippet of it because it's a remix. So like it probably. Well, I don't. You can try here. Here. Here. Put it right here. That's that's the one that me and Rema watched. I don't know. Megaman hasn't watched it. I haven't seen it. You should. It's a good video. It is. And speaking of getting copyrighted, um, the, sorry, excuse me. The, um, the, the bum that made the, the polyester spider man song. This is directly specifically to you. I said, if you copy, if you gave us a copyright claim on our episode that I would email your distributor and tell them to kill themselves. I'm Rema. I'm like, I'm right there to do. I was like right there when I woke up on last Saturday morning to see that you gave us a claim on that. For like the 10 seconds of your horrid song that we played. So Rev calm down. I hate you. Did you ever get back to you? Uh, well, I didn't, I didn't. I'm pretty sure it was an AI bot that claim. Yeah, it was. Yeah, I don't. I don't care. I don't care. Uh, I didn't, I didn't send that email though. Don't worry. And I, every time I appeal it, it always gets accepted. So it doesn't. Yeah, it doesn't. Maybe it'll be fine. I was gonna get a strike if we appeal it. And then it doesn't work. I don't think so. They'll probably just like revert the episode to a draft. And then I just have to edit it out and then put it back. Yeah, maybe. Anyway, uh, BC, BCA, can you tell us the origin of this meme where it came from all that jazz, you know? Yeah, I can do that. All right. Steam Pams comes from a scene in the Simpsons episode 22 short films about Springfield, which first aired on April 14th, 1996. So this is older than like every single entity. Listener. Um, including the episode, which is an anthology of 22 short scenes about several of the citizens of Springfield. The character principal Skinner has super intended chalmers over dinner to play. Sorry. For dinner in a play on the dinner with the boss sitcom sitcom trope. Is that a trope? I've. No, it is. Remember how like, you know, name a time. I, I, you know, I've seen this before. I could name 10 books. Uh, no, name 10 women. Actually, maybe name 10 women right now. Right now. Okay, uh, Kim Kardashian, Bianca, Sensory, um, Kylie Jenner, um, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Um, uh, Pokemon. Hold on. Bonnie Blue. All right. Thanks to the assist. Um, um, uh, Jesus Christ. Okay, whenever you have the, uh, Sadie sink, she was in the Spider-Man. Um, um, Gwyneth Paltrow, also Marvel. Um, um, hold on. Hold on. Uh, Taylor Swift, Wanda Del Rey, um, Charlie XCX and I, that's 10, but I use the assist. So I'm, I'm gonna come up with a new one here. Um, um, um, hold on, hold on. I've got this. Haley Welch, Haley Welch. Oh, I, I could have done that. I swear it becomes, uh, well, I swear it becomes like impossible when you're like forced to name a certain amount. There's like 10 men, 10 men. Um, okay, uh, let's see. Uh, peanut butter gamer. Stampy squid. Ask all right. Rum, rum kin named 10 women. He could name like 12 women. Yeah. So that's two more than 10 women. So you're more out of applause right now. Thank you guys. Yeah. Anyway, yeah. This is a play on the dinner with the boss hit control. Uh, that exists. Could not tell you where it's from though. Uh, the dinner as per the trope does not go according to plan. As Skinner burns dinner, leading him to cover the truth about dinner through elaborate. Ooh. Increasing the unbelievable series of lies. I'll put you on them. Sorry. Hold on. Re-read that part real quick. That was, ooh. God. As, as the trope does not go according to plan. As Skinner burns dinner. Oh. Ooh. Put me on the mic. Oh my god. That rhymed. This is like, do you think M&M would say that? He what he would say, he would put. Skinner burns dinner. Genzimi. Uh, Mike. My cat is black, but acts Chinese. Sure. Um, after burning dinner and telling chalmers that he's making steamed clams for dinner, Skinner attempts to convince chalmers that what he had, that what he had prepared steamed clams for dinner and expression for hamburgers, he says, which is native to Albany, New York. That's a bit of the, let's see, let's just read. Let me google fun fact about Albany, New York. Yeah, can we get, can we get some fun facts about Albany, please? Um, discovered in 1609, nice by Henry Hudson. The city is the oldest continuously chartered city in the country. Ooh. That means it's older than New York or Boston. That's actually crazy. Yeah. I thought this was going to make. Can we, like, a steam hands video here, it looks like an anime. Can we get, can we get, like, an actual confirmation? Oh, yeah, there is. Can we get, hey, hey, hold on. Can we get, can we get, can we get, confirmation of steamed hands is like an actual thing from Albany or if they, it's like 99, 99% sure they just made it up, but you never know. Uh, is steamed hands in Albany expression? Uh, nope. Uh, nope. This is actually just a lie. Um, while the line has been quoted by fans since the episode aired, one of the earliest examples of it being used online comes from a November 15th, 2007, Urban Dictionary Post by user Delaware Mike, who defines steamed hands as hamburgers and Albany New York expression. It's not to be confused with steamed clams. Thank you. I wonder if Mike, where do you think Mike lives now? Cause like, what, what if he's not from Delaware? And like, is he called Albany? Albany Mike. Oh, because like, would he be Delaware Mike because he's front, like he's, he was born in Delaware. Or is he Delaware Mike? Because that's where he lives. So now he would be, I bet he lives in Albany now and runs a hamburger restaurant called steamed clams. You know, since Universal has Simpsons stuff, they should have made a burger called, like steamed ham. Yeah, but like, why they should make a steamed ham? They should, right? And it would be easy too, right? It would just have to be the burger on a bun because that's all it is in. In the, I don't think there's any official steamed hands or steamed clams restaurant. Awesome. That sucks. Someone do that and then get sued, please. It'd be fun. Yeah, can we do that? You can, can we do that? We do that, sure. But anyway, yeah, that's the origin. All right. Super Mega Man 10. Yes. Can you please tell us how this meme spread? Gladly. On November 8th, 2009, the Facebook
group SteamHands launch. As of May 2017, the group has amassed more than 7700 likes and 7600 followers, despite being mostly defiled. There's so much about this, oh my god. About the event, Bill Oakley said this is a one night only anniversary event built around one of the most famous and frequently quoted in television history. I'm excited to share the real story behind Steve Ambs right here in Albany, where the line was born. The event was announced on the Druthers Brewing Company in Springpage that same day garnering over 400 likes in four days. And that's it. That's it. Wow. That's it. That's it as if it wasn't just like the most in-depth we've gone on in on a meme and like forever. Yeah, that's a lot of that's a lot of steam hands, man. It is. Wow. That's a lot. This video is sponsored by Yeg Ainsenk. Yeah, yeah, this one's sponsored by Yeg Ainsenk. Yeg Ainsenk that's Thucco's Roblox community game studio. I'm sorry, am I bad? It's more than a community. It's a it's a home. I guess. I'm sorry. I know. Yeah, yeah. I apologize one more time. I'm sorry. Anyway, there's so much about this meme that like I didn't know. I thought it was just like steamhams, you know, just like I thought it was just like a few videos on YouTube. And that was it, but this is this has got history. A lot more than what makes the eye. Yeah, trans. Yeah, I'm just a typical white boy amazed by the Albany culture. You should shut up. If you assume that one that one video where it's like the meme being overwhelmed after seeing the Polynesians. Yeah. Yeah. I've seen that. It's funny. And then they're put the video. I'm don't don't do that. You can't even put the video. It's an audio thought. Yeah, I'm not putting that. If you guys want to see that go look it up. It's not that hard to find, but anyway. Yeah. What do we think about this meme? I think the remix is good. The steamhams ink. That's what I know it for. I do too. Oh, that's good. Well, man. Mega man. Well, I think the audio cut out. Sorry, hold on. I need you to say that all over again. What just happened. The audio cut out. Okay. Well, I think this meme is a great meme. Is that it? Is that it? It's a very old meme. It comes from a very great show. And I've seen lots and lots of remixes and different versions of this meme. And it's something that I sometimes quote sometimes. Did you know that the creator of the Simpsons cut Chris O'Neill only plays in line to an ice cream video? Are you sure? And then as as compensation, he gave him a little folded picture of Bart. Are you serious? Did this actually happen? Yeah, he seriously told my story on their on one of their episodes. So like a John's, they were at like an event. And the guy who made Simpsons cut Chris O'Neill in line to an ice cream truck. And for as compensation, he handed him a little drawing of Bart. Yeah. Really? That's insane. It was like, I wanted to scream and yell at him. But I took Bart anyway. How did he like, did he like tell him that he cut him in line? Like what? He just like, he was in line for an ice cream truck.
at this event and he just caught him in line. - Why, just like, 'cause? - Yeah, and then when he said, like, "You cut me." I'm not even kidding. He said, "Oh, come on, man. I made the Simpsons. That's gonna account for something." - Are you serious? - I'm being serious. I'm not even lying. This actually, they told this story. - Do you think he just, like, does, he just, - I actually said that. - Just like walks into place. He, like, robs a bank, he just, but like, he just, like, draws a-- - I mean, he works Simpson. - He just, like-- - I have my shorts. - It draws a picture of Bart-Rill. - He's a bystander and runs away. - He just, like, draws a picture of Bart on a piece of paper, real quick. Crumples it up, throws them, throws it at the employees head and just walks out. - Yeah. - It's okay. - Simpson's, man, that's gotta account for something. - I literally, I made Bart, bro. - I made the eat my shorts, you know, hit and run. That's my game, I made. (laughs) - I'm John Simpson, bro. - He literally is John Simpson. - Yeah. - There are so many people in the last name Simpson. - 'Cause it's a last name. - I know it, it's just like funny, 'cause whenever I do Simpson, I think of you like homework. - Yeah. (laughs) - Anyway. - Megaman, what do you-- A question I had for you. Why do you like the Simpson so much? I haven't watched it besides, like, a few episodes. What's, what do you like most about the Simpson's? - It's pretty funny. And also, I kind of get to understand, at least, some things that I never really knew about. 'Cause they like, they joke a lot about, like, certain things. - Like, Israel. - Have they made any Israel jokes? - Probably in, like, the recent scene. - But they joke a lot about, like, and I think they did joke, they joke about, um, teletubbies, and Sesame Street. - They joke about jokes. (laughs) - Yeah, in the show-- - No, you're not supposed to agree with me, you're supposed to. (laughs) They joke about jokes 'cause you gave, like, a non-answer. They joke, oh my God. Do you like it 'cause you got to learn about, like, older things, Simpson's? - Yeah, because there are some things that you never knew that just existed. - Oh, I see. - Yeah. - I see. - Or just never really understood a lot. You know, like, the intricacies of BFDI. - Oh, yeah. - Do you think-- - I like the episode where Homer's like, "But, merge, if you're gonna miss my BFDI episode." - Oh, homie, you need to go pick a bark from school. - That's my favorite. - Hey, dad, I can't do bark. I just, like, immediately-- - My shorts. - Which one of the three of us does a good bark impression? Who does? - Well, I don't think any of us are in the middle and white ladies, so I don't think we can do the bark-wise. - It's my shorts. - Mega Man or-- - I don't know where I'm at. - B.C. One of you, can you, can you, talk about BFDI real quick, is Bart? - I don't think I can do that. - Yeah. - Okay. - I don't think either of us do a good bark impression. I think we're just, I think we're-- - B-C-A, B-C-A. Have a conversation with yourself with Homer and Marge talking about BFDI. - Okay. "But, merge, Rucky's about to win Dream Island." - Oh, Homer, you need to come to bed and stop up to dream. - That sounds like P-1. (laughing) - So, I need to watch BFDI. (laughing) - I can't do a Marge voice. - You just did one. - Okay, it's like, okay. But I think Stampy said this. He said, "You can judge how cool of a person is by if they decide to attempt a Marge impression or not." - Okay, well now I feel like I have to attempt one, because Stampy just said, Stampy just said, "I'm not cool." - We need you, Homer, but I don't know if you can do Marge. - Hold on, give me like an example of Marge, Rookweck. I need to make sure I get this like, I have a-- - For Homer. For Homer. - You know? (laughing) - We gotta go watch BFDI. - I can't do it, man. - You put in what are we doing? - Homer, Barthus got packed up by this new kid, Rucky. (laughing) - He's in the hospital, he's got internal bleeding. - Oh my God, Bubbles has died, Homer. - Come on, guys. - You know what? I can't do Homer, I can't do it. - We're drunk, just doing night. - It's not cram, Barthus, this is pizza. - Oh, now we're gonna get the interest victim, you said a bad word. - It didn't even pick up, don't worry. - He said crap. - Anyway, yeah, this means pretty funny. - Yeah, I like this meme, it's funny, sorry. I forgot to say what I like about this meme. I think it's really fun, E, it's really funny. I like it. I think the Simpsons is cool, but like, I've never watched. I just like, I think the characters are cool. I like the designs of them and how they're, I don't know, yellow, I don't know. - Interesting fact, I like it as a behind Matt Raining's initials on Homer, where like carved into him with like a scalpel in there is him. - It's his hair in here. - Oh, I didn't know that. - Because his hair, his hair on his side of his head, it's an M and his ear is a G. - Oh, that's cool. I think the meme's funny, I think the Simpsons is a cool thing, it's just like something I've never watched. Which I feel like sad about that with some things that like I just missed out on them. - Yeah. - Well, Ram, you always have time to watch it. - Yeah, see that's the thing. - There's a whole lot of good memes from the Simpsons in there. Like if you watch the show, you'll easily find them. They're like mostly in like the earlier seasons. - Yeah, 'cause the modern mode isn't funny. - Yeah, Megaman, I've heard Simpsons gets like really boring. So you may have to slog through like 10 seasons at one point of just like mediocreness. - Ram, try watching 30 episodes of nothing but Goku fighting for his-- - Yeah, yeah. - He's like a monologuing for like 20 minutes. - I'm where I promised, I promise this, I promise on my soul, my soul, Vultures 2. I will start watching Dragon Ball again in fall. And if I don't, I will stab myself in the chest. - Don't do that. - That's-- - Yes, I will do it. - I will do it. - I will do it. - That password to MTT2. - Yeah, before you do that. - Before you kill yourself, can I have the password figures like how anger pops up. (laughing) I'm gonna trade your unusual for like $10. - Yeah. - So I'm sorry, hold on. This is a little off topic, this is very off topic. So I'm going to call my unusual trash and I got like really pissed. - As you should. - Yeah. - Those are fighting rules anyway. - Did they say it's trash 'cause it's on the air strike? - I think so, yeah. They were like, why would you put that on the air strike? It literally only looks good on the air strike. - I'll have you know, air strike is good at MVM. - It is, it is, yeah. I remember we played MVM a few years ago. It worked very well. - Yeah. - Anyway, no like stab myself with a knife where I'll say, in my chest. - Don't do that. Well, I won't have to 'cause I'll watch it. - Well, if you release Sunset Sorry before you do that, you can become like, oh, that's too soon. Nevermind. - What? - I was gonna make a joke about how all of her tree only became too much popular after we died. That happened a little too recently. - Yeah. - Anyway. (laughing) - SteamHands is funny. We like SteamHands. - Yeah, we do. - Mega Man, it's your birthday and you like, final thoughts real quick before. - Tip, if you ever go to Albany, New York, take a picture of yourself eating a hamburger and say that you're having steamed hams. - Yeah, use #mttacmhams and we'll give you $10. - We will, I promise. - Yeah, cross my heart, hope to die. Take a cupcake in my eye. - I've never heard that before. - That's my little pony. - God. - It is. - Wait, I'm forgetting the other, what's the one that isn't my little pony? - Friendjip is magic. - No, no, the, what's the expression without the cupcake? - A crisscross applesauce. - No, what are you talking about? - A delteroon, birdly. - Shut up. - You're done, you're cut off from Tom. (laughing) - What are you talking about, man? - The crisscross applesauce. - Now you're confusing me, we're moving on, we're dying. We'll see you all in criticism. - Oh, wrong one, wrong one. - You look like you made me do, I'm with somebody new. - God. - What are you talking about, man? - You're dancing with a stranger right now, God. - You're just like quoting literally anything. - He's quoting the song. - Yes, I know, I know, but I know, I know he's quoting something. I said he's quoting anything because he's just quoting something random. There is nothing to do with what we're talking about. - Yeah. - Okay, for the love of. God. You have the battle scene. Let's start. I'll see you guys in Mimps and Mimps games. Goodbye. Hello and welcome to the Mimps games games games games. Hello everyone and welcome to the new games the part of the show where you play games based on this episode and episode before RepTGM would you like to go into further depth? All right so the Mimps games are the part of the show where you play games based on this episode and pass episodes. We have a picker whether we call it the meme world puncher games that we have oh my god with a bunch of different games that we can play on it. Whoever has the most points by the end of the season from these games wins the meme games. That's right. Let's spend that wheel. Stand that wheel. Stand that wheel. Stand that wheel. Woo ladies and gentlemen welcome back to mixmeamandmatch. How do you play this one or RepTGM? And mixmeamandmatch what we must do is when it is our turn we will, well actually not when it's our turn. We each of us have to combine two memes that we have done on the podcast together to create one meme and whoever has the best meme that has been mixed and matched gets a point they win the meme games. That is right. We have a picker wheel to call the name wheel. It has all three of our names on it. Yeah we're going to be spending it. See those first, second and third in today's meme games. Let's see is going first. You ever just like speed so fast your mouth forgets what you're saying. Yeah it's pretty much every time I do the intro for this. Yes. Awful. I'm going first anyway. Let's see you go second. Let's spend again. It's going to be Megaman. Well you're right actually. Megman is going second. Rem is going last unfortunately. So the order is me, Megaman, and then Rem. Are you guys ready? Yeah. All right. Three, two, one, mix and match some memes. And I don't know if we ever said this on the, we did not say this. This was in our discord server, but one of our members was doing a presentation for school and he put like he loves Israel and stuff and he cuts 200 points. What? How? I see that. You really think that like the English teacher is going to know about like Tel Aviv and press stuff. Shalom Mr. Netanyahu. Shabbat Shalom Netanyahu, Tel Aviv and press. I see you brought your Yom Chutta class. You got a good one. That'll get you a plus. Well, color of even press. That's funny. Anyway, all right. Well, while we're finding our ones to mix and match, what was I going to say? No, I'll save that for for the break room. Hmm. What was it? Was it like something long? Yeah, I was going to spiral into a long talk, so. That sucks. Okay. I'm not going to use this one, but I just thought of chopped itty. That's that. That would have got that would have gotten you some high points for me. That would have been a straight high high. I cannot. Okay. Can I do the meme? Can I can I do it even if the name, even if the the meme, even if like the name isn't in the meme, but it's literally the meme that we're talking that let's like what it's about. Yeah, you sure. Okay. I think I understand. It's just like a different name for the individual we talk about. Yeah. Okay. You have a sorry, I'm going to. I like this game. It would be so much funnier if we could use like three. What we have one like that, do we want to? No, no, no, no. Okay. I just remember that's like that's like the evolved version. That one is really funny, though. That one is funny. I'm going to air out all your business right here. I think I have a crush on someone in my class. I don't know if that's bad. That's like the most normal thing. I think I've ever heard you say specifically tonight. Something like. Sorry, I'm going to finish. Yeah, that's a normal thing that some people sometimes feel at life. Yeah. That's like the most normal thing you've said tonight in this chat. Yeah, you're like right about this. It's like, if hashtag jukebox essay me, I wouldn't ever tell a soul. Yeah. And then he says, the gubbi stop. Jesus. If gubbi sonic adventureed me, uh, Rick, I'd have to think about that one. Cheese Rick. Oh my gosh. Stop. I thought I'd show you about cheese Rick last night. Yeah, I'm sure he enjoys that one. Yeah. Yeah. You know what? Share it. What are your thoughts on cheese, Rick? See, he's not typing because he's so stunned with how good it is. All right. Thanks. You don't know what cheese Rick goes with cheese, Rick. Yeah, or don't. No, Google it. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm pretty indifferent on it. I can ban you. I hope. Yeah. Let me wait. Where's my son? My son was gone. Well, no, no, no. That was good. My speakers love that one, man. It's just such a nothing burger to me. You're a nothing burger to me. No one should be nothing. That's actually nothing. You're nothing. You get nothing. You're big nothing. That was a horror right there. Okay, this one. I don't know which one to go with. Oh, I have a really, I have a really bad one, but I think it's funny. So Mega Man, you got yours? Yeah. All right. I've got mine. Mega Man's got his for weight, not you. Oh, wait, I've been done. Oh, okay. Okay, then you go first. Yeah, I rent your first. Well, I thought I was third. No, no, no. I'm third. Yeah, I can do it with me. Sorry. Stop reading those fanfics. I'm using you. Excuse me. I need to wash that actually. Remwatch it. Anyway, it's I like it. I need to like, plays all that in general. Anyway, here's mine. My mixed and match meme is Santa the Ditty. What do you say? Santa the Ditty hog? Yeah, yeah, Santa the Ditty. I like that. It might be worse than Shop Ditty. Okay, that's like, that's a good argument, though. Like which one's better? Oh, okay, I'm the, I would give you high, high if I hadn't already heard Shop Ditty. This is going to go mid-high for me. Yeah, thank you. You're welcome. It's just like the name Ditty is so funny for like, you're deadly or drag stole about you. I, okay, you could like put that end up the end of like sneakers, oh, Ditty. Mama did, Chuck Ditty, cortisol, Ditty, I drink Ditty, I eat Ditty. Can we like, man, Ditty? Can we like, that's too overpowered. It has, it has to be a first word and not a second word. Bad bunny crying at the Ditties. Where are you going, Ditty? Ditty defrosting. Oh, it's not funny. IRL Ditties. Stop rattling them off. I'm Ditty 1.3 seconds. I'm the one who's here with ice cream. Mom, you want to say hi? Hi. You don't want to say hi? What? Ditty pompador. Ditties on your lawn. 28 Ditty wounds. Yeah, yeah, that's the famous rugby team. Yeah. It's nice to meet you too. Daco beats 50 Ditty. A barbershop Ditty that costs a quarter.

Goodbye. Bye bye Hello everyone and welcome to criticism castle the point to show where we read reviews from you guys all the way down under in the review section below Rented GM. What are our reviews for today? All right, so we As always, we read three reviews one from Apple podcasts one from Spotify and one from the discord server Again, make sure to join the discord server if you are not already in it. What are you doing? All right our reviews for today starting off with Apple podcast. We only have a Roll hold on this mega-man's birthday. Let's let him pick Okay, yeah, yes, okay, good good choice. I like that one. All right, this review is titled Gemethy and It entails You should make an episode about Gemethy the short spine raccoon Also, did you want to give your thoughts on that BCA? I know you had some words for Jim. I have nothing against Jimethy I just don't know how it won me with a month Yeah Maybe it's just a me thing, but I literally haven't seen anything about it I've only seen very few little things on it, but I felt like maybe staying careful I feel like that's more culturally relevant or maybe I'm wrong Or let the parts out. I've been seeing a lot that Also, hold on dust is playing deep rock. That's Also after in drama the war is over. I will make one shot stories in the Jaguvers That is also revolved around my POV of the lore of the meme verse Also dust, can you believe that we and many others made basically a universe around memes for a meme podcast? But enough talk here's a teaser for the next Jagu part Sonnet you got up barely stable. I will destroy everything in the name of Chris Before Mr. Frog devoured him before he ran off to fight in the battle This review is by underwater Jaguar 855 Thank you so much underwater Sorry, oh my god, my throat. Thank you so much underwater Jaguar for the five star review next review. All right. Also Underwater Jaguar we we very much do enjoy all the stories both you and dust right so yeah, keep them come Yeah, um Okay, there's one I don't necessarily want to read because it's kind of a spoiler Mm-hmm, um, so well, let's let's see. Let's we've got a well, let's see if we roll it If we roll it then we're gonna read all right. All right. We got a Let's see be and See we got a B&C a B&C All right, no spoiler for us this time. Hey All right, this review is titled nothing because it's on Spotify and it entails Someone's got to make that angry bird image, but with punishing bird from lob corp What is that? Gloppy glop glop glopin, you know, punishing bird
log court. See this thing. Uh, it's the white, it's the white birdie with some red, red splosh. Hmm. Pretty cute. I put them in angry birds too. What a man might as well. This is my contender for the next member of the flock. And then can we do another uh, can we put in another 50 hats? Oh, please. 50 hats. Anything but relevant updates. Um, no updates. 50 hats. Can we put a new burden that like just makes every other bird obsolete because of how overpower they are? Make them completely uh, unobtainable without extreme grinding or have them pay 30 dollars. And also, uh, do not bring back the OG games. Keep those. Yeah. In fact, just delete them. You can do all that but just continue to do it. Yeah. Like over and over. I never stop. Who is this review, Byron? Oh, this is by Johnny Silver. Dang. Thank you so much. Johnny Johnny Silver, Dan or, or hand, like, as in the cyber bug guy, Johnny Silver. Dang. Thank you so much, Johnny. Oh, yeah, my, I like my, my braces things in right now. So you're gross. He's the girl. Thanks so much. Johnny Silver. Dang for the five star. Supposed to five star review. Next review. All right. So we've actually got a, uh, a few things here. We have, um, we have the question from this week as well as a funny story from dust. That, uh, he wrote back in May that, uh, we forgot to read. We forgot to read it. Yeah. Uh, this week we will not forget. All right. So as you guys know, uh, probably by this point, every week, we do a weekly criticism castle question over on the discord server. Uh, so if you want to be a part of that, join the discord server. So yeah, it's a lot of fun. So well, yeah. All right. This week's criticism, casual question was if you were to recommend the podcast to someone where in the podcast would you recommend they start listening? And as, of course, as we usually do, I'd like to start with asking you to, what your answer to this question is. As well as what episode are we on right now? This is 295. I probably say like somewhere like 120, 130, because like, I know those episodes are like older and stuff like while like 20, 23, 24 and stuff. But, uh, I feel like people shouldn't just be thrown into like the latter end of the podcast without like any context of anything else happening. It's like, I know we've already mentioned Dragon Ball a bit in this, in this, uh, episode, but like, it's like, it's like starting Dragon Ball Z without watching Dragon Ball. Yeah. It's like, like, yeah, you can and it'll probably be fine, but like, you're gonna miss a lot of context for stuff later on. Mm-hmm. But yeah, I'm feeling 120, 130 is where someone should start. That's a good answer. I still, I still say number one. I mean, I've still number one. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, I understand that. But at the same time, if I was going to recommend this to someone I would, I'd never, like, someone I knew, I'd be like, uh, please don't listen to the episode one until you've listened to like literally everything else. Yeah, because then you're gonna worry about them getting a bad first impression. Yeah. But yeah, you know, it adds, it adds charm. It does. I understand why Mega Man says number one. I like watching and listening to stuff in order. So if I were to have listened to the podcast, I would have started at one. Um, so I do understand that. And episode one and as well as season one in the earlier episodes, they do have a lot of charm to them, even though, you know, they kind of suck. Yeah. Well, okay, we were like, we were like, we were 11, 12, 12. Yeah. Um, I, and I stand by this, but BCA did put a good, BCA did bring up a very good point, um, that I'll talk about in a sec. Um, I would recommend people start with the first episode of the newest season. If like the season is like, like a decent way through like near the later half of the, the season, um, because that'll give you the start of the meme games. And it's like, it's a more recent one, so you'll get like newer humor. And then like, if you enjoy how we act now, I'd say go backwards a few seasons, starting out like the first episode of that season and working up because then you'll get more use to us and you'll also get used to like us referencing things in the past. So that, that way it's not like as, so that way when you're used to us and you know that we're going to act differently, when you go and listen back, you won't get like flash banged. But like a completely different. Yeah. Um, but yeah, BC, you bring up a very good point. Uh, if you do start that way, you're going to miss out on like a lot of references and, uh, and stuff that we do and stuff that we didn't even do before. Uh, in Megaman, you also bring up a good point. See, like episode one, a lot of people will start with that. A lot of people want to because it's in order. And I, I respect people so much if they, if they've started from one and they've worked all the way up to 295. Yeah, that's a lot of time. Yeah. I want to thank all of you for doing that. If you, if you've done that, that's actually insane. I'm going to, wait, I'm going to, I don't know if chat GPT is going to, I don't feel like doing all the calculations. I'm going to ask chat GPT. If, uh, if you were to watch every episode of means throughout the ages, how long it would take? I don't know if it'll do that. I would get maybe, maybe, five to six days. That's not even like a bad estimate. I'd probably say, uh, yeah, that's actually a really good guess, Megaman. Um, I'll say, I'll say six days. But I just asked, uh, it would take nine days, 23 hours in 17 minutes of non-stop listening. If you were to talk from episode one, how much is that in hours? Uh, 239 hours in 17 minutes. Oh my god. And that's not including if you buy the Patreon or you go to the YouTube channel to watch the, uh, like, yeah, then, yeah, at like, at like the very end, I want to add together everything we've ever done to see like how long it would take to consume every piece of MTTA media. Yeah, it says so roughly 10 days of continuous REMDG on lore. Yeah, lore all about me. All of it. It's all about me. All right. Um, but yeah, that's a long time. Congrats to you if you started from like episode one, even like the trailer because the trailer is secondly episode zero. Uh, actually, it's technically episode two because we made it after. Oh yeah, I keep on forgetting that. I don't know why we did that, but, you know, probably I'll let him go. Anyway, onto what our fan said to the question. Uh, uh, sorry, Min says, uh, I recommend episode 400. Not there just yet. Give it a few more years in the future. It's like silver. Uh, then ECD says Alex Jones gay frog rant because that's where my first comment was ever read. No bias there at all, clearly. Uh, then rel say said Charlie Kirk and episode 67. We haven't even done Charlie. I don't think we will. Yeah, I think that's a little insensitive. Yeah. Um, episode done. What am I saying? Yeah. Um, then dust says episode 60. Everyone knows among us. And that's when I first recall your quality drastically improving. Is that true? I'm going to have to go rewatch to see if that's true. Yeah, this week mostly did through voice calls. Yeah. I feel like the quality made a massive jump when we got to editing. Have you always edited on a computer? Uh, well, we haven't had to edit before, like, or that much, but when I've had to edit things, I have edited on a computer. But that's been like, I've been editing on here since episode 182. Yeah, I feel like when we started doing discord and stuff, the quality improved a lot. Yeah, absolutely. I feel like even just like after episode 100, I think we started to like realize that this was like something serious. Yeah. Um, that we wanted to put actual time and effort into. So we started like carrying more. Um, not to say that we didn't care before, but, you know, uh, yeah, they're
And the reason we came back is because people were like, "Please make more." And we're like, "Oh, people actually like this." Yeah, if a femboy fries in J.J.Y.T. never left those reviews, we wouldn't be here, so. Yeah, probably not. I literally could not imagine Fridays without the podcast. Yeah, it's kind of, not that you mentioned, it's kind of hard to think about. 'Cause we've been doing for like, four, not four, like more like three, three, four years, maybe. Yeah. Or six. No, I know, but like, continuously, 'cause we took breaks and stuff. Oh, yeah, that's true, that's true. It's just like, I feel like once the podcast is over, we have to like, do something every Friday. Or else it's gonna feel like, strange, you know? Yeah, we're like, "We need each other and go out to eat you yourself." Yeah, that'd be cool. Yeah. Anyway, Ralph said, "Wait, what if MTTA was just a podcast to convince people to join their Discord so that REM can convert people into EA fans 10 out of 10 Bianca's?" It is, actually. Join the Discord server, first link in the description. Then Poil said, "Most recent and then build up from the start of the season." Ooh, my man. And then guide said, episode 68, which is Splat Tim. I looked that up before. Then Ralph said, "Yeah, I'm a MTTA fan. Kill yourself is so funny. My opinion on "Low Tear God." Well, I like Super Mega Man 10. 10. 10 Black Tedos out of 10. You are not gonna understand that at all and don't know anything about what's going on in the Vocaloid community right now. Look up Slayer 10 out. That's all you need. I don't think we'll touch more on that. But anyway, thanks to everyone who left things in the, well, I'm doing it still the wrong order. Thank you so much. Underwater Jaguar, Johnny Silverding, and everybody who left their answers in the Discord server. If you want to be in criticism, cast an excite, make sure to leave a review, five, so it doesn't matter. Will you just want to hear your criticism or like me implies? Let's go to the game. Oh, hold on now. Funny story. Oh, sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. All right. So it's dust said that he wanted to, I think dust already has part 17 done, but he was waiting to send it because we didn't read it, that's my bad. But here we are. Funny story. Part 16, dinner over disaster, part one of the sealed saga. All right, let's get into it. When we last left off, arc three had ended, and Julius is planned to envelop the world and pure mid had been foiled by the efforts of Pete and his Ragtag band. Now the world finds itself in a new piece for now. Not long after the Julius incident, a diner was opened up. The diner was a quaint establishment built alongside the great Mount Everest, and it had seen a large amount of traction due to its location, and its signature dish did not so mystical spaghett of Mount Everest. Its interior was, it is, yeah, a callback time. Its interior was adorned with pictures of Sammy, Officer Earl, and a singular photo in memory of the deceased Markiplier. While some werey customers said Morbius had opened the diner of the trap, there was no real evidence that the vampire was even involved in the establishment's origins. I see what you did there. Of course, that didn't mean nothing ever happened, nothing ever happened in the small place. Two middle aged men dressed in fancy coats stepped into the establishment, and each ordered some of the diner's signatures spaghetti. The waitress who gave them their food made a snide remark on their importance, on the importance on not stealing food, but the quip was ignored. Once the waitress was gone, the first man lifted up his hands, and put down his food. "Thank you for meeting me here," Pete said, exhaling softly. I was worried he wouldn't want to talk with someone of my reputation. The other man smiled and nodded as he put down his hood, revealing an aged face. "It's an honor getting to meet the man who saved our world. Besides, I've had more interesting clients before." Right. Abigail and Michael schmitz on. "How could I forget? How could I forget her?" "I'm not sure," Doug said. "I've had trouble erasing that memory from my mind myself." Pete picked up his fork and took a bite out of his spaghetti. "Yeah, she's definitely the king, I mean, queen of bad clients. Glad to see her situation was sorted out." She's dead, Pete. Doug said, "I don't want to tone voice, and we don't know who did it." "Sorry, sorry. That's not what we're here to discuss. If you don't mind, I did have something I wanted to ask you about, seeing as you're quite knowledgeable in these matters." Doug nodded, "But of course, during my fight with Julius, Pete began, I had to call upon a power my family had long since told me to revere. My peak energy manifested in such a way where contacting said power became impossible. I don't know how to explain it, but I know what the ritual for summoning the divine is." Doug leaned forward. His eyebrows nearly slamming onto his plate and sending his food right back into him. And you think it best to tell me this information? Why? Pete sighed and placed a hand wearily onto his head. "I think I made a mistake, Doug. I really do. You can ask Elvis or Patrick, but they both feel it too. Everything is wrong. I don't know what, but something is dreadfully wrong. I wanted to know if you had some way anyway, sorry, or in some way, anyway, to go back in time to before that day and find another way to defeat Julius. I can't call upon the divine anymore, and because of my peak energy, I can sense that. Something terrible is coming." Doug sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry, my friend, but I cannot help you. I can talk to my assistant about it. Mrs. Lewis has always known how to tackle her way through a bad situation, but I don't know of any good way to time travel. If there's nothing else, I'll need to be going now. I have some very important matters to attend to." Pete nodded rolefully. Of course, with those words, Doug stood up, leaving Pete alone in the diner. If Doug can't help me, he whispered, putting his hands against his forehead, then I'll have to go to the one person who I know can. He stood up, left the diner, and got into the personal helicopter his victory had given him the funds for. His destination was far, but most certainly worth the travel. After a long flight, he made it to a large white building, and exited the helicopter. He walked up to the large, double doors, and pushed them open. Inside, a man sat leaning against the staircase, his eyes falling on Pete. Donald Trump. Pete greeted. "What?" "A low Pete," Donald said. From the fortnight. Deep within the mountains, far past Everest, Doug the lawyer trudged through snow. A yellow energy keeping him alive, and letting him move extraordinarily fast. The wind buffeted, buffeted, buffeted. I'm not smart enough for this man, buffeted against him, proxure. And snow fell so hard he could be mistaken. But at last, he made it to his destination. A large rock wind with metal sat in the center of a clearing, firm against the Ragingland. Multiple strange fence-like chains were locked around it, all wrapping along a singular concealed emblem in its center. Doug walked up to the rock, and at last kneeled. I have returned my lord, the rock remains silent for a moment, before a voice at last echoed from it. "Good. Welcome back, Douglass." I bear news on Pete, my lord. since your movements as have the rest of those with that new
energy. "I fear you may be stopped if your power continues to grow. My power has already reached its peak," the voice replied, "but I must admit, I am curious to know why you fear this peak energy so much. Sounds like something my pet would relish getting to taste." "It is my ward," Thug said, closing his eyes. "It is extremely—it is extraordinarily powerful. It managed to slay jumbo-josh, and even Julius could not withstand its might. I am far too old. It seems, for I know not who Julius and jumbo-josh are. Perhaps I must have this josh blocked from my memories. Regardless, a mere energy will not sway me. My seals have started to break, and I am eager to share my creativity with the outside world." "Of course, my Lord. Your creativity is unmatched," Thug assured the voice, bowing lower. "I merely ask that you tread with caution. Christmas is merely a week away, with everyone being so jolly during that time. Peak energy could very well reach an all-time high." "Hilarious," the voice laughed, "just as my creativity shines on all other days. It reigns supreme when I have a chance to make a Christmas special." But if you are so afraid, I will wait. My seals will break on New York—Ah, Jesus Christ. My seals will break on New Year's Day. Regardless of how little I try to break them, I can sense it. My efforts have not been for nothing. I will not wait once I am free. In this Pete will understand just what he is sensing is not fear, but excitement. Any who still fear, will find I am excellent at preparing graves." Thug nodded, and stood back up, "Of course, my Lord. Now then." When sure Pete's plan fails, I cannot have him in my way before I am free. If he truly is as dangerous as you say, "Of course, my Lord, to be continued." "I keep on forgetting this is about stupid internet stuff, and I hear this serious writing. It's like jumbo josh and Julius and New Year's special peak energy." "Well, let's get a hold on. I've been staring at my phone in the dark so long I can't even see where I'm there we go, thank you. Thank you." "I'm great writing." "It's actually good writing." "It is really good writing." "It was lost there for a minute in the story." "Thank you, Dust, for that. I'm very excited to see where the story goes next. I can't believe we're on part 16." "Yeah, it's a hundred and sixty memes." "Yeah, I remember when he started doing it, it was like a few sentences, and it was just trying to make a story out of memes that we, like, the first season." "It was like, oh, that was cool, that was pretty cool, and now we'll look at it." "And then it's an entirely extended advanced universe and stuff." "Yeah, and then there's, like, alternate universes, they're different writers, it's huge. You did that, Dust. So huge props to you." "VCA is muted." "Sorry, my parents interrupted you." "Oh, guys, be right on the buzz." "So yeah, thank you so much, Dust, for the new, funny story, old quote-unquote "newies" that made it May. "Yeah, news." "Meghan." "Please keep the Fortnite short." "Yeah." "Okay, so." "Okay, so." "There will be new generations of sprites coming each season, and if you collect those, including the ones you've collected during the season, we'll be added into a new thing called the Sprite Garden, which is like a thing where you can be able to… "Chow Garden." "Oh my god, yeah, wait, yeah, it's Chow Garden, where you can visit friends, gardens, and sanctuaries, and showcase your entire collection, and also an island to get away so that way you can play with your sprites as well. There will be new sprites coming into the next season, including the five winners for a design of Sprite, which happened announced today, and that is the bullet Sprite, dumpster dive Sprite, the x-ray Sprite, the pawn Sprite, and the honey Sprite. So congratulations to those people who made the sprites. I'm very glad for this to be finally over and to finally see who won, and while I didn't win, or my thing didn't get picked, it was nice to be part of this whole competition. I'm looking at a TikTok post about them being permanent right now, and let me just read some of the comments. I'm sick of sprites. I'm burnt out in overstimulating masks. They copied Chow Garden. I love them, but it gets to an point where it's annoying, most boring feature in Fortnite, I'm stopping playing, they're dragging it, basically giving us Chow Garden, make a separate battle royale. Why are you doing that? This is very clearly a not-like feature. This generally confuses me, if you're saying this about the sprites, then why are you not saying this about Pokemon, because Pokemon is literally about collecting it. See, the issue I think a lot of people have is that the sprites are, and it's even happening now, the sprites are like overshadowing the actual updates to the game, because like I swear I have not heard about one new gun, or like item in the game this season, but I've heard about like a million sprites. I think people are just tired of them adding it on, because it seems like 50% of the community doesn't really care. I'm not saying that there's not new guns, I'm just saying that I haven't heard anyone talk about them. You know, no, I'm talking about sprites. I know, I'm talking about what Ralsei said. No, but you can like that, it's just like you can't compare it to Pokemon, because Pokemon isn't a battle royale, and Pokemon, why are you doing that? I've never compared Pokemon to Battle Royale, but you are, you're saying, "No, you just said people don't like answering the sprites system to Pokemon." Yeah, but the thing is, Pokemon is nothing, you can't really compare them. Okay, what BC is trying to say is that the sprites system is a long, so think of the sprites system as Pokemon, right? Okay. So Battle Royale also has the Pokemon system, but Pokemon is just Pokemon. The people's issue is that there's now two different types of mechanics in one mode, that it's getting annoying to some people, because it's becoming bigger than the actual game itself. It's not what they want to be playing, they want to just play regular battle royale. They also, they just say that you can be able to discover sprites in and out of Battle Royale. How? How does that work? Is that work? Are they going to have like a hub world or something? Anyway. Please God, don't put them in OG. It seems like people just are kind of sick of them. I don't know, okay, you can like them, it's just, I'm not, what I'm seeing is most people seem pretty fine. I think they're, I think they're cool, granted, I don't play the game, but like, I think they're cool, but it seems like people don't think they're cool. I think it's because of all the new variants. I think people liked it more when it was just like one or two variants, but it looks like there's like seven of like each thing, but not all of the sprites get it. Yeah, but it might just, it's just, it looks like it's beginning to be too much and people aren't liking it, because I don't, I think if I were to play, I wouldn't be collecting sprites at all and I don't think that's also the thing I've been talking like, I've been also saying like, if you don't want to deal with it, you don't have to do it. No, but it's just a system that's just, it's interfering with gameplay because they give buffs. So you're kind, you kind of need to do it, or else you're at a disadvantage. I mean, you can use the sprites, but you don't need to collect them.
if you want to collect them, that's the-- - Yeah, but you need to collect them to use them. - No, but do you get all the space for free? If you win with a sprite on and you don't have it in your collection, it will be added in your collection. But if you lose it, you lose it. - Oh, wow, God. - You can just keep throwing them out if you want to. You don't need to collect them. The system is just there for those people who would like to do that stuff and want to. - I think people are just getting upset because it's over shadowing actual updates. - And I think one last thing that I think was a weird decision from Epic is like I swear, I remember people back in chapter six when they introduced them, like not really liking them that much. - I think people aren't liking them because they were like, they kind of made shield. The water one made shields redundant and you could just carry the water one and just like get a ton of shields or whatever. - No, okay. - I see that. - I mean, you did put a limit to how many times you use that. - Yeah. - Ah, whatever. Ah, I don't go. - I think. - Sorry. - But yeah, all that stuff, I'm super excited about it. I know that Bob is too. I did talk to him about it. He does like it as well because he's into the collecting thing. And still, I am still getting annoyed by all the people that say all that stuff, but like. - It's valid concerns. - I know, but like I think Epic can figure out a way to make everybody happy and I think the next thing. - No. - Make everyone happy and fortunate at the same sentence. - Or at least make things like. - Reasonable for a lot of people that are complaining about it. So hopefully next season there will be at least a shift in like perspective about this right system. - Yeah. - But I'm still getting annoyed by it. And I, and of course I've turned 18. That's really exciting. - Yeah. - Streaming went a little bit well this week. - On Thursday, I did get a lot more viewers. - A little bit. - Mega Man's song himself short here. You got like 11 viewers. - In one stream. - Yeah. - I've been jumping. - That was like earlier in the year. - Yeah, but still it's good. - No, like this stream, you got like eight, you got like eight, like anywhere from here. - Yeah, I feel good. And that's the people. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I think this was like my second most viewed stream while life. - Nice. - And I got like some extra, and I got a few more followers. But yeah, she's very excited about those, the sprites stuff mostly. And still, I'm a bit annoyed how people are talking about it. And how they're comparing it to apparently still a brain rock. - What's, okay, for whatever. - Apparently that's what tough like gaming said. - Which, you're an adult, listen, I don't know what I mean. - I literally heard him was like, no, this is more like Pokemon. I've never seen it as anything else, but Pokemon. Literally, when you started the whole thing, it was Pokemon. But yeah, that's what I got for me. - All right, BCA. - New video uploaded, it's a whatever video. It's me complaining about Xbox. - I'll put it, link it forth, link in the description. - You don't have to. - I will, I will, I'll do it. - Okay. But I'm working on what will be my longest video. I know I said the last one will be my longest, and it was my second longest, but this one will be my second. I'm sorry, this one will be my longest video. - I'm excited for it. - Yeah, I'm two minutes in editing. - Oh. - It is, it's a good amount. - And when would you say the video? - I have no idea. - Okay. - It'll be, it'll be this or neck, not this week. - It'll be done when it's done, and. - It'll be done when it's done, and it'll be released when it's done. Probably like next week or the week after. It'll be this month. - Yeah. - But yeah, new video soon. That's about it. All right, news for me. First of all, news about the podcast. As you guys know, episode 300 is coming up. If you want us to answer questions during the Q&A that you have about us, leave those in the comments and the reviews, or you can ask them over on the Discord server. I'll make sure to collect all of them, and then we will answer them during the 300th episode. News for me. You may be wondering, where's the new RAF and target video? Well, let me tell you something. The plush that we need for the episode, it's a pretty big character for one part of it, is still not here. So hopefully we'll be able to do that next week. I haven't been able to get too much done on Sunset Saga, as well as like, I don't know, other projects I'm working on, basically, the video. Because I've been doing a bunch of stuff for my job. Me and Mega Man are both employed now, so I can't use that as an insult anymore. - We've been able to learn about how we need to do our jobs. - Yeah, I actually, I have that tomorrow, though. - I still need a way to call. I need to get a call back from one of the people that worked there. - A golden call. - Yeah, I guess that's how you can call from the big yawn. - Anyway, if this episode should be out, this episode should be out Saturday morning, but if you're listening to it on Sunday morning, "Oh, I had to go to bed." 'Cause it's pretty late, but anyway. Yeah, I think that's all the news from me. - Yeah, I had something to discuss. - I know you guys are talking, I know you guys talk about how there hasn't been a lot of new weapons or items released during the season. I think I kind of liked it. I kind of liked that it wasn't really much added. And I didn't notice that there were a few pool changes throughout the season, like very small ones, but I actually didn't enjoy that there wasn't a lot of pool changes this season. It kind of felt nice that there wasn't newer guns to have to learn and use during this season. - Yeah, I feel like they started adding a bit more guns than they should have been. I'm an OG Fortnite loser and I think that they should have almost never changed the loop pool 'cause I think it was pretty fine the way it was, but that doesn't keep people playing. So they got to change stuff, but whatever. - I did really enjoy that there wasn't as much new loot in this season than there has been in previous. - I wish they stopped making new stuff and just occasionally, I wish they made a ton of stuff and then occasionally brought back old stuff. - Yeah, I think that's what they're still trying to do, but this season they kept it pretty chill with the guns and stuff. I didn't really enjoy how there wasn't as much loot changes than the last few previous seasons. So at least that was kind of a nice breath of fresh air, especially for like the sprites stuff. - Yeah. - I think that's what they're mostly trying this season was to mostly go more towards sprites than the loop itself. And the loop pool this year was like kind of nice. I like what was brought into the game this season. So yeah, that's really all I got to say about that. - All right, one more thing, probably if we are able to, if we're not busy, possibly MTTA interesting special this week, so subscribe to the Patreon third link in the description for that $1 a month. You get a bunch of extra content. But I know you get like practically, I don't know, like 50 to maybe 100 hours worth of bonus content, so. - Yeah, there's like 60 something episodes now. - Yeah, that's insane. Not including the interesting specials as well. - Yeah. - So yeah, go check that out. - I've been BCI, I've been Super Mega Man 10. - And I'm Rum TGM. - And thank you all for listening to an upset of me as to that. Let me just see you all later. - Goodbye. - Bye. - I'm going to be an adult forever. - Bye-bye. - Bye-bye. - I am so y'all should be honest. - I'm going to be honest with you. I am hungry too. Oh, it's Steam Towns. - Those would be yummy. Maybe we should do, or maybe for our 300 episode, we should go to like a burger gym. - Oh my goodness, we should maybe. - Maybe, maybe, anyway, bye guys. - Bye. - Bye. - Bye.
