How did he do pranks in like four seconds? Thomas Sanders. Cause he would, you would do Disney pranks with friends and like that, that already takes up like two seconds. And this sparked a huge, I don't even know what I was going to say. I just started a very fast growing meme, uh, because I don't know. The internet was very simple back then. I mean, it really is now too. Still stupid kid. He thinks nine plus 10 is 21. That's the entire joke right there is, uh, the dude in the video asks the kid, uh, what's nine plus 10. And then the kid says 21. And then the guy says, you stupid. No, for, for, she goes, I work. Uh, he goes, you stupid. No, I'm not. What's not plus 10, 21. Oh, I'm warping. Yeah, you are. I'm sorry. Slat said 21 one time. And then, and then 21, it just started laughing for like 10 seconds. I was like, is this how you got to the, is this how you got to this meme? Yeah. Oh really? Yeah. Like, you think anybody out there is still posting like vine compilations? Let's see. Vine. Yeah. It searched vine compilation and sort by new. Oh boy. Wow. Um, search by, let me, let me see if there's one today. Um, I'm seeing Tik TOK compilations. But that's no vine compilation. Um, hold on. I should, I searched by today. thought i thought like it meant like he deleted the video on purpose oh maybe they did and then again on july 9th by youtubers shadow subscribe by december 14 2014 morelos's upload had received over 5.7 million views and 37 000 likes and shadows upload had received 3.7 million views and 28 000 likes later on august 29th youtuber user swiftstar352 uploaded a song featuring audio from the vine remixed with hot and work by rap star bobby schmorarda schmurda which was one of the nation's top songs at the time the song reached 14.6 million views and 108 000 likes by december 2014. it has since been deleted but a re-upload by simply bogsy has received over 390 000 views as of april 2016. the child in the video whose identity remains unknown has often been referred to as the 21 kid on october 13th the parody website puzzlers released a hoax article detailing how the child had run away the article noted that the child had left a goodbye note the child whose real name is abib sties ran away from his home saturday night and is currently being searched for throughout the whole baltimore area why would you like fake this i i don't know that's really weird authorities say the child left a goodbye note in his bedroom that read i i tired of everyone laughing forever now if you wanted to find me the only clue i leaving is 21. so stupid why why would you even do this i don't know the internet was such a weird place back then yeah yeah post on several message message boards including ign why was ign posting what the hell does ign post on several message boards including ign why was ign posting what the hell does ign have to do with this i don't know indicated that some people fell for the hoax a complimentary youtube video was really released by the user franklin colton and received over 650 000 views as of april 2016. it is proven by youtuber wavy websurf that this is the 21 kid because this video was originally uploaded on dre abem sue's vine page um we have a little uh shout out to wavy websurf he's the entire reason why this uh podcast even started because i watched his video when i got the ad for wavy web search is pretty cool yeah he is i love his videos if i did if i wasn't watching his uh video on the uh finger in the chili at taco bell or whatever it was there would be no mtta yeah anyways back to this all right on october 3rd 2020 wavy websurf posted a video deep diving into the hoax gaining over 3.7 million views in a year in summer 2019 memes based on the vine regained popularity on twitter ifunny and instagram before april 4th on an unknown user posted a not funny didn't laugh video featuring a still image from the vine on april 4th 2019 the video was re-uploaded to youtube where it gained over 28 100 views within four months on june 10th 2019 youtuber use youtube user blue chicken re-uploaded an awesome he finally meme based on the video made by an unknown author in the following month the video gained further spread on ifunny twitter and on instagram on july 1st 2019 twitter user tim timotainment posted a not funny didn't laugh edit of the vine featuring donkey kong with the video accumulating over 413 000 views in one month and the tweet gaining over 14 500 retweets and 46 000 100 likes in july 2019 multiple notable edits of the vine were posted on twitter ifunny and instagram including notable versions by zanko and tunneling og professional r word.mp4 and yep anthony we're like yep randy get it Thank you. In January 2021, Twitter account 21count opened with the purpose of counting down the days until December 10th, 2021, the day when 9 plus 10 really equals 21, according to their bio. The account's first tweet was posted on January 16th and reads 237 days until September 10th, 2021. The page posted daily tweets counting down the days and grew a significant following in the eight months leading up to the date. On August 23rd, 21count posted when the day comes on 9, 10, 21, he will decide your fate, along with a screenshot from the 9 plus 10 equals 21 video, gaining over 80,000 likes and 10,000 retweets in two weeks. On September 7th, Instagram page SpoopyDoo posted an image of a cityscape with the 9 plus 10 equals 21 child looming over it and the text 9, 10, 21, Judgment Day at the bottom. They would never forget. Five years later, it would be a different kind of thing. Okay, wait, so the internet has been making, like, random children gods, like, for a while. Yeah, and they don't know yet. But in five years, there's going to be a different kind of Judgment Day. What? What? Oh, wait, four years. August. Oh, August. No. December 10th, 2025. What is that? What, 12? Captain Kirk. Oh. How do you have his, like, death date memorized? I, wait, is he, like, returning? What happened? No, 25. No. What happened last year? Because the date is 9, 10, 21. Oh. Four years later. Okay. Sure. Judgment Day. How, how, what? Judgment Day, the aliens, gadag-a-dee-gadag-a-dayo-fuddle-finger. Oh, whoa. The post gained over 46,000 likes in two days. On the same day, Instagram page chronic.memesv2 posted, an image macro of the child with the text rating three days until 9, 10, 21, gaining over 30,000 likes in two days. On September 9th, the 21 Counts countdown tweet made at 1.48 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, gaining over 51,000 likes and 7,500 retweets in eight hours. The post reads, one day until 9, 10, 21, prepare. By the same date, the account. The account boasted. Yeah, boasted. Boasted over 98,000 followers. At midnight on September 10th, 21 Count posted, today is 9, 10, 21, a video edit featuring the 21 originally, the 21 kid originally by Twitter and YouTuber taxpayer gaining over 110,000 likes and 32,000 retweets. In under a day, 21 count also encouraged followers to spread the hashtag 9, 10, 21 on the day, which quickly hit Twitter's trending page. A number of meme accounts celebrated the day by posting video edits and 21 video, one kid video, many jokes about a rapture on the day. For example, Instagram page, grandmas.bud posted a meme about the 21 kid manifesting in their room, gaining over 160,000 views in 11 hours. Instagram users, salad, snake, and re, oh, repost Randy. What? Repost Randy. Yo, Randy. I hate you. I hope you die. Yeah. Actually, Randy sold out. Randy sucks, man. Stupid seller. Also posted a tribute celebrating the day, gaining over 88,000 views and 151,000 views in under 11 hours. Respectively. Sorry. Are you still giving Randy money to know that's not happening? Many social media users changed their profile pictures to the 21 kid on the day. Twitter users also celebrated the occasion under the relevant hashtag, posting their favorite 21, 21 kid memes. Twitter user T O G S T 52 Y T posted a meme showing the 21 kid meme in the morning. T O G S T 52 Y T posted a meme showing the 21 kid over a map of North America with the caption current US times on map hashtag 9 10 21, gaining over 8,500 likes in under 10 hours on the same day. Twitter user K Y S S N D U posted a neon Genesis Evangelion edit reference to the 21 kid meme. one except for the burp being a that's his own thing uh i'm still trying to i'm still trying to find them and collect them including the ones that i weren't able to find before the galaxy is dropped it's pretty annoying like even the fortnite status account said that they would uh lower the chances of finding regular fire earth and water sprites and now you know how i feel when i was grinding with you yeah like i said yeah that's exactly what i was trying to say that's exactly how i feel it's true i feel like how you guys when you play pokemon and they said they were gonna lower those sprites and increase the chances of finding uh epic legendary and mythic sprites including including their variants but nope i'm still getting basic water earth and sprite water earth fire sprites which is really annoying because i want to be able to collect all these new sprites uh the uh concept royale started this week i submitted my my concept and surprisingly tim sweeney himself might have seen it he saw it on a reply for uh for it says it says he liked his post yes it said yeah on twitter it said that he liked my post but then that but now it says it doesn't if you go onto my tiktok
