The Midas Touch podcast’s Labor Day edition delivers a sharp critique of the Trump administration’s deteriorating domestic and international policies. It highlights how Trump’s erratic behavior—such as renaming New Mexico and spreading false claims about gas prices and Iran—has fueled widespread public disillusionment, particularly among working-class Americans who now view him with deep skepticism. Polling data shows a dramatic 61-point drop in trust among employed voters, marking a complete reversal from his 2024 popularity. Internationally, the episode details the absurdity of Trump-appointed envoys like Whitcoff and Kushner, whose trip to Russia and Ukraine is condemned as a profound embarrassment, undermining U.S. credibility. Meanwhile, Iran is advancing its military capabilities, including new anti-ship missiles and precision strikes, while the U.S. faces supply shocks due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The Trump regime’s lack of coherent strategy, repeated failed promises, and aggressive misinformation—such as falsely claiming energy prices will fall or that a nuclear deal is imminent—exacerbate economic hardship and global instability. The episode concludes by emphasizing a growing rejection of Trump’s leadership, noting that the public, especially in the face of clear evidence of deception, is mobilizing against what is seen as a dangerous and corrupt political system. As midterm elections approach, the analysis warns that Democrats are poised to gain ground through robust oversight, while the Trump regime’s chaotic conduct continues to erode trust in institutions and the American political system.
This is the Midas Touch podcast labor day edition. We'll celebrate labor day with you. We'll focus our attention to the labor movement as we should on labor day and that this country was built on labor labor supporting the middle class labor supporting the American dream. Of course, that's under attack by the Trump regime now every labor day with the Trump regime were used to Donald Trump making a deranged post in the morning he did that again. In fact, over the past 24 hours, he has made hundreds of deranged posts. Now, I'm not exaggerating the number quite literally hundreds of posts from attacks on Canada to changing the name of New Mexico to New America, weird images of himself appearing to be unlike the throne in Game of Thrones or being in like some sort of dystopian terminator movie. And that's how he feels tough attacking Iran via memes as he's lost this catastrophic war against Iran that the United States should never have been involved in to begin with. We'll cover all of that, but we don't just cover Donald Trump made psychotic post just to call it out that he's a lunatic. We all know he's a lunatic, but we need to look at what he's doing in contrast to what's happening throughout the world and here in the United States and the pain and suffering. And destruction that the Trump regime is causing, I mean, you take a look at the unappointed, unelected illegitimate so-called special envoy Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner's trip to Moscow and then they went to Ukraine will cover that, but probably the most humiliating shameful trip that we've ever seen someone represent the United States on in history. And that's saying a lot. I mean, it's probably close, of course, to what Donald Trump does every damn day, but how damn shameful was that will cover that Donald Trump wants to distract from the Netanyahu regime further escalating their slaughter of people in Southern Lebanon and in Gaza. We've seen the Netanyahu regime further escalate in the past 48 hours, blowing up hospitals targeting school children. It has been a horrific sight indeed. We'll cover that. You have Kim Jong-un and North Korea taunting Donald Trump taunting the United States talking about the delivery of new weapon systems that they have here with massive nuclear capabilities. While Donald Trump and corporate news here in the United States remains silent as Donald Trump tried to escalate the catastrophic war against Iran last week, pretty much just focusing on striking a wedding with people who were attending in a residential area in Syrac County killing at least for injuring about 90 and amongst the people who were killed women and children. While Iran responded, striking tankers in the strait of Hormuz, then the U.S. destroyed three Iranian tankers, Iran then hit six ships, including tankers and other vessels that they say are associated with the U.S. And Iran is rolling out new anti-ship ballistic missile capabilities and other new ballistic missiles referred to as the castle breaker that has only enhanced their capabilities both in terms of the quantity of their Shaheed drones and ballistic missiles and the quality, the speed of the drones and the maneuverability of the ballistic missiles. Iran has enhanced its capabilities while the United States has run out of weapons and as the Trump regime has frankly pummeled our own service members who suffer from some of the lowest morale ever. And families of our service members who were killed in action aren't even getting the benefits that they're entitled to during wartime because Donald Trump claims this is, quote, small potatoes and is not even a war and with all of this going on midterms are right around the corner. You have the Trump regime and MAGA Republicans in full panic mode right now they're about to head to their so called Trump a polusa midterm Republican convention in Dallas 90% of Republican Congress members and senators will not be speaking or attending at this convention. I think it's like 17 house members will be speaking four or five Republican senators will be speaking. They have you have the MAGA Republicans scrubbing their websites of references to Trump as though then being Trump's sycophantic bootlickers is somehow what the American people are going to have the men in black wand and just like forget about it and go, I guess you didn't just support him destroying our country. So in other words, we've got a lot to cover on this episode on Labor Day Brett and Jordi great to see you both and Jordi big news on your part as well. Absolutely, absolutely. I'll start with Brett. We'll keep the cadence we normally do the cadence. Well, I got to say I'm really excited to have Jordi back and I'll just say, you know, for those who are watching us live Thursday or listen to the podcast. When it hit the audio feeds Friday morning, you know that the show was just me and Ben and that was because Jordi had a power outage and we weren't lying. We weren't making it up. Jordi had a power outage and that's why he wasn't here. A lot of people were asking us is it is he having the baby and we said no, it's it's legitimately a power outage. Jordi froze and literally he couldn't go live with us. So here we are. Now that's just so coincidentally happened to be the same night of that Jordi ended up going to the hospital to welcome his baby to the world. And man, you know, I woke up actually, you know, in the middle of the night knowing that Jordi was there at that point to an incredible text from Jordi with a picture of mom and baby everybody happy and healthy and it really just wore my heart. And with all the chaos of all the stories that Ben was reading, like I can't, you know, if those of you who have family members who have kids and have kids, you know, I'm sure you all, you know, feel the same way. But there's something just so incredibly special about, you know, seeing your brothers be dads and seeing those pictures are really warms my heart. And at a time when there is so much, you know, chaos and negativity, you know, it really reminds you of kind of the important things in life. And Jordi, I'll let you share, you know, any additional things I you want to share before we get in. But congrats, man. I'm so I'm so proud of you and Lexan and the whole family. Thanks, brothers and mighty, you're going to make me cry. Everyone knows I'm the emotional brother. I very, very emotional. Thank you guys. Thank you to everyone in the chat. Everyone online, the entire Mitis Mitis, entire Pro Democracy community. I've seen all of the messages. Thank you all so much. It means the world mom and baby are doing fantastic. My mom's in town, minus mom. She's in town. So I felt that I could go off and do the show and let everyone know all things are good. We are so happy, fortunate and just, you know, ready to march forward as a as a two child family now, y'all just absolutely wild. The last thing I'll say it is crazy how the world works because to bread and Ben's point, I was on the show Thursday night up until we were getting ready to go live crazy storm knocked out the power at my in laws where y'all know I've been recording. So I couldn't even go home right away because the storm was so bad, but I did end up going home probably about 10 minutes earlier than I would have if we have done the show. And right when I get home, my wife's like, hey, we got to go. I think it's I think it's happening. We're like, all right, let's get it. It is just so crazy. She is the absolute best. My daughter is so beautiful in the absolute best and my son has just been so happy and excited to finally meet baby sister. And so it's been a lot of amazing. And again, thank you guys so much for asking and sending all your well wishes. We are super excited. With that, Benji, where do we even get started? So like up front, I've been a little bit disconnected from the new cycle as you could imagine and just when you rattle off that list, man, and you are even just a little bit out of sync with the day to day. It is the craziest thing ever. Like when you when you were posting the Trump means that you were flashing from his own post that he's putting up here. I mean, like I know we say it. I know we know this guy's a maniac, but this guy's a maniac knew he wants to rename New Mexico, New America. I know we're going to get into it all. Benji, where are we getting started today big bro? Well, I think we get started where we are right now at this exact time. We are 57 days away from the midterm elections on November 3rd, 2026. But get this as well. We're 792 days away from the 2028 presidential election on Tuesday, November 7th, 2028. When you hear it, it makes it feel pretty damn tangible. But Jordi, as you see those posts right there that Donald Trump made his labor day posts kind of reveals the strategy. If you pay close attention or just even a little bit of attention to what he's saying, Donald Trump posted the following this morning. We're going to contrast it to what former president Biden also posted, but Trump posted the following happy labor day to all including the radical left lunatics, communists and Democrats who will do anything possible to destroy our country. These deranged people after fighting for 10 years should finally acknowledge that your favorite president, me.
puts in parentheses exclamation point knows how to win. That's in caps and exclamation point. They should be exhausted by now, but sadly, they're not. They're going to give it one last shot at Rooting America. But we're not going to let that happen. We're going to win the midterms big and save America. Donald J. Trump and it's right there where you can see what the strategy is. It is to exhaust all of us to throw so much at us that it is overwhelming and we'll just tap out and give up or say, you know what, all the politics is so horrible or why even fight this lunatic? He's just going to come back with more. Let's just give up or it's just going to be too difficult for us and too painful to fight and too annoying to fight. So let's just give in. That's the plan. That's always been the plan. That's what Project 2025 was all about bulldozing over institutions with overwhelming shock and awe rapid force in order to impose a fascist vision of this country. And guess what? Sadly, a lot of institutions bent the knee, a lot of people that we once respected or looked to for guidance or trusted bent the knee. But you know who didn't we the people you watching this did not bend the knee and that has him worried. That has the manga Republicans worried that you that we that this community are not exhausted and have not given up. And I want you to know that in the next 57 days, Donald Trump and these desperate mega bootlickers are going to try to throw everything your way, everything our way, they're not going to stop. And we have to stand strong. We've done it for nearly an 18, 19 months at this point. And we're going to keep on doing it together over the next 57 days. But take a look at Trump's post. Now contrast it to a normal post from former president Biden standing with union workers and labor leaders. Biden posts. I've said it my entire career, the middle class built America and unions built the middle class to every worker who's ever punched a clock, worked a double or walked a line for fair wages and to everyone who stands up for them at the bargaining table in the state house or on the shop floor. Thank you. This country runs in large part because of you. And that is so true. Now on this Labor Day, September 7th, 2026, 57 days out from the midterm, what do working class people feel about Donald Trump? How do workers feel about him right now for reasons that were deeply frustrating and disconcerting to me back in 2024. Donald Trump led amongst that cohort amongst working class people as compared to former vice president Kamala Harris. But there's been over a 60 point seismic shift right now as the consequences of Donald Trump's fraud and lies and deceit have now become fully realized. Sadly, that is, take a listen to what Harryenton said earlier this morning about the latest polling data about how working class Americans feel about Donald Trump. Let's play. Let's take a look at how the president is doing on the economy when it comes to those who are employed full time. And it's just a complete 180. Look, this was a major strength for him back in 2024 when it came to the economy. Look at this employed voters Trump in the economy versus Harris. He was trusted more than Harris by 20 points on the economy, but look at his net approval rating now amongst those who are employed full time. It is 41 points underwater way down there. We go down into the Hudson River. We're talking about a switcheroo in the wrong direction of 61 points on this Labor Day. We're talking about those fully employed and how they view Trump in the economy. It is not a happy Labor Day indeed for President Trump when it comes to how those who are employed. So a big switch there. So Donald Trump went from promising everybody. I'm going to lower your electricity prices in half gas prices. I promise you. I promise two dollars a gallon. I promise you to remember what Donald Trump said in the past few weeks. So for you to pay a tiny little bit more for your gasoline, just remember you're doing it so that a very evil country cannot have a country really. It's the number one state sponsor of terror in the world. We don't want them to have a nuclear weapon. So remember everyone that when you have to pay a little bit more, you're at $4 a gallon right now. It's okay. I'll never apologize. I did the right thing. And if you're like Ben, did he really actually say that I remember him saying something like that? Do we have the clip of him saying that recently when he was speaking in Nassau County, Long Island, if so, let's play it. Let me see if I could find that one. Let me toss it over to you, Brett and Jordy. Yeah. Now, I mean, it's a it's a complete slap in the face to everybody. And you could see why the Republicans are running away right now in the midterm elections. And they don't want to be anywhere near Donald Trump. Honestly, I don't really understand the strategy. Like you've been tying your, you know, you've been anchored to him all this time. You think you're really full people by not standing next to him on a stage or being in the same room as him. Like, I don't even understand the calculus. I get that they want to say, like, look, I'm independent. Like they're taking their Trump's name and picture and all the stuff off their website. But like people, people know, people know. And so I honestly don't even understand the point of them skipping the event, ultimately, because to me, just from like a cynical, like kind of political calculus, I feel like all that's going to do is piss off the, the feud or, you know, we're Trump people who are going to be there and no one else is going to buy your crap. And I think the headlines that are coming out of this event are really, really, really telling like this one that just dropped earlier today that says the following Republicans blast free tickets offer to save Trump from Dallas convention embarrassment. The Texas spectacle later this week could prove to be a misstep for the president if he doesn't get the crowds he wants. This is an article in the independent. And as our editor-in-chief here at the Midas Touch Network said that they are begging people to go at this point. And I think, you know, even beyond the headlines and the news about this event, the mere fact that out of all the places, they could have held this convention. You think they want to hold it in some sort of battleground, right? Try to build some excitement for the candidates in hard-to-win races. They're holding this event in Texas, which I think shows you that Texas is a battleground in this election. And they should not be fearing Texas right now. They should not be fearing the race between James Tallerico and, and what's his name and then Ken Paxton. But the fact is they put Ken Paxton there instead of John Cornyn because of Donald Trump. Now it's a sinking ship over there. And now the Republicans have to worry about Texas. The whole thing is just so revealing as to what's going on. And you just simply in normal times, you don't see pull swings of 60 points in a year or two. I mean, that is absolutely crazy. And anybody who is associated with Trump should be looking at that and be absolutely terrified of what's to come. Trump is political poison at this point. And he's he's always been to certain levels. But especially now, like now more than ever, he is absolutely political poison. His, I didn't get to talk about this last week. His quote-unquote endorsement of Paxton, by the way, that was the most pathetic odd endorsement I've ever heard. You might not like this guy. You might hate this guy, but you got to vote for him because he's not a Democrat. Like that's their, that's their messaging running into this stuff. Not on the economy, not on, you know, fixing healthcare, not on making sure people are getting jobs, not on making sure that everyone actually could afford to live in this country. No, no, no, no, it's don't vote for them. They're the Democrats. You can't vote for them because of that. So vote for the guy you hate even though you hate him. It's so stupid. And no real strategy does Donald Trump or the Republican Party or the Trump regime have going, going into this because it's not about them as Donald Trump kind of views things. It's never been about the party. It's about how can Donald Trump use the party to benefit him, to make him look good to line his pockets with money. And everyone and everything around him is totally and completely dispensable. Very easy for him to wash his hands and just move on to the next scam, the next Griff. How is he going to make his next billion at the expense of the American person? That's what we're witnessing day in and day out. And so I get, Brett, to your point, why they're having it in Texas as convention here is because they are scared that all of a sudden, Texas is a toss up. Texas is a toss up. And like, he's been running a great campaign and all of that. But but I think it speaks beyond that that they are fearful that Texas is really going to go blue this time around and that they're trying to do everything that they can to stop it. So they're holding the convention in Texas. Not any other battleground state, but Texas blows my mind, Benji. Now let me show you the clip that Ben now wanted to play before I have it right.
here just so you could hear it for yourself. So I just say this, so for you to pay a tiny little bit more for your gasoline, just remember you're doing it so that a very evil country cannot have a country really, it's the number one state sponsor of terror in the world. We don't want to have them have a nuclear weapon. So remember that when you have to pay a little bit more you're at $4, it's okay, I mean it's, I'm not, I'll never apologize I did the right thing, but you could, you know, if you didn't have, you know, every time he speaks he sounds like a snake oil salesman, but also specifically in that clip, I mean, like I'm viewing the infomercial. So you have to pay a little tiny bit more over here for your gasoline. Again, this is never about the American person or how can Donald Trump use his power to help the American person, but how can Donald Trump push forward his agenda at the expense of the American person better. Look, I want to take our first quick break of the show and we come back. I want to talk about what's going on internationally. I want to touch upon this horrific visit by Whitcoff and Kushner first to Russia, then to Ukraine and then Whitcoff announced very successful. We discuss the possibility of potentially doing a trilateral discussion in the future to potentially discuss a framework. That's what we're going to be discussing and it's like, what would you do? All I saw was you show up in the Kremlin and tell Putin that when you retire, that you, Yuri Yushakov, who's, you know, one of the top advisors to Putin, a career demitri of who's the envoy to the U.S. from the Kremlin and who runs the sovereign wealth fund over there that you and Jared Kushner and Ushakov and Demitri of, you will always have these memories. When you retire, it'll be so amazing for all of you. Thank you, Vladimir Putin. We appreciate you. That's what they said to the guy. I mean, we got to talk about what else is going on in the world as the U.S. has never been weaker because outside of Donald Trump's dwindling base here in the United States and, you know, state regime, media, Fox and some of these other right-wing propaganda channels who are too deep into really reverse course. I mean, the rest of the world looks at this and goes, man, loser, this guy's a loser. The U.S. has become a loser country. It's a combination of looking at the United States with disgust and laughing in our face kind of combined. And it's like, what the hell is even going on right here? And Donald Trump just means away. Okay, New Mexico, New America. That's not funny, man. It's not funny. The president of the United States had the grow up act like an adult, address the issues that you said you were going to be dealing with. I mean, gas prices, record highs, diesel record highs, Trump regime covering up a child sex trafficking ring right now. People can't afford homes right now. People can't afford groceries right now. And Donald Trump's like, this is the golden age. It's here, everybody. Let's take our first quick break of the show. The moment you notice something's off in the bedroom, it tends to stick with you. When the ads are happening, behind the scenes the brothers are chatting. Brett has a new microphone, and Ben and I are like, "Is this the fourth Mytis brother who's breathing his hand right now?" My house is very loud, and so I had to put a noise reducer on it to block out all the loud noise so that people could actually hear me speaking. It's not a new microphone. It's over. That's over Ben and I's had. We don't get it. We don't get it. We don't get it. We don't get it. We don't get it. Hi everybody. Brett, my cell is here. I was like, "Who is that?" I was like, "Who is that?" We're good. that America led in once and the world was horrified, and they led America led him in twice. And the world was like, "Got it." Like, what we're done with is kind of where we're at right now. I'll remind everybody, heading into the 2024 election, the message that Donald Trump was pushing out and that corporate news would ignore the fact that he was a sexual predator or convicted felon, that he was a bank ruptor, that he was in office the first time, and completely botched the handling of COVID, that he was one of the people who were encouraged the January 6th insurrectionists, and he was out there trying to overthrow the election. I mean, like, okay, really, you're gonna just ignore all of these things and treat this as like a normal candidate. But let's remember what he kept on saying over and over again. And Trump doesn't want people to see this clip before the midterm election, here, let's play this clip. Under the Trump economic plan, we will cut your energy prices in half within, mark it down, and you can get very angry at me if we don't do it. Within 12 months, your energy prices will be cut in half. My plan will cut energy prices in half, or more than that, within 12 months of taking office. Number one, your energy bill within 12 months will be cut in half, and that's my pledge all over the country. Beyond farmers, that's my pledge all over the country. If you vote for me, I will cut your energy and electricity prices in half within 12 months. Well, how about gasoline? Did he make any pledges or promises regarding gasoline right before the 2024 election? Let's see what this con artist, Nate, loser, predator, felon. What was he telling the people? Pretty much consistent with those qualities and attributes. Let's play this clip. It will be an economic revival of our country, like no one has ever seen before. Energy was what caused our problem initially. Energy is gonna bring us back. That means we're going down and getting gasoline below $2 a gallon, bring down the price of everything from electricity rates to groceries, airfares, and housing costs. $2 a gallon, interesting, because right now gas and diesel are at all time highs. And guess what? It ain't going down anytime soon. It's going to get much worse. You wanna see why Donald Trump bankrupted most of his companies because, and go back, I talked about this in 2024, before that as well. Trump has the worst instincts and he's a fraud. So when you make an error or you screw up, lots of people reflect and try to fix it.
it. Not Donald. He then tries to cover it up and he digs deeper. And the law of holes has stopped digging. Well, Donald Trump's entire life story is digging the whole deeper and deeper and deeper, bringing his entities into catastrophe and then trying to basically loot and pillage the people around him while he's crashing his entities. So he makes a problem, even worse, and then he makes it into a bigger disaster and a catastrophe and it keeps on spiraling. I mean, just look at this catastrophic war against Iran. It should never have happened in the first place. One of the main reasons that Netanyahu and Trump engaged in this war without the rest of the world, this catastrophic war we shouldn't have been involved in. One Netanyahu is a genocidal maniac, but also Donald Trump was getting increasingly worried about the release of the Epstein file. So it was to distract from the child's sex trafficking ring that Donald Trump was covering up. And then every day they made it worse and worse and worse. I mean, horrifically slaughtering little girls and Minab, little children and Lamar and continuing to engage in horrific conducts. I mean, most recently killing people out of wedding in Syracount, I mean, just horrific atrocities being committed. You had the memorandum of understanding, which could have at least potentially been an out, got us out of this. But no, Donald Trump is such an egomaniac, such a malignant narcissist, such a psycho that he can't stick to any deal. He's never done that his whole life. He's always been a destroyer and deals. He's not a builder. He's a breacher of contracts. That's what he does. And then he just soothes everybody and destroys things and try. But when you're going against countries that have a national interest, they stand up to that. And that's what we've seen happen over and over. And so the situation is getting worse. And now we have this purported blockade that's in Iran, kind of right outside the Arabian Sea. And when Donald Trump escalates, Iran escalates even more. And then Donald Trump kind of backs down, then Trump decides to escalate and Iran escalates more. There is no coherent strategy right now about how to extricate ourselves from this catastrophic war in Iran. And it's only going to lead to higher oil prices, higher diesel prices, more death and destruction, putting our service members more in harm way, more death and destruction in the region and the whole world moving further and further away from the United States. And this is why we see countries selling off their treasury bond holdings, removing their gold holdings from the United States. They don't view the United States as a predictable, reliable entity to invest in anymore. And so there is a massive move away from the US, which leads to higher treasury yields, which then leads to higher borrowing costs in the United States, which increases our debt. And then there's all the supply shock issues as well, regarding the lack of oil that's out there because the straight of her moves remains closed. And Donald Trump can post all he wants that there are 18 million barrels a day that are leaving, but that's just false. That's just false. I mean, even Donald Trump's energy secretary said over the weekend, it was nine million barrels a day, but that's probably a high estimate. It's probably more like five to six, but in any event, it's like a 40% decrease or 50% decrease to what existed before Donald Trump launched this unlawful and catastrophic war. And also we're just talking here about oil, but we could also be talking about a lot of other things get transported out of the straight of her moves. And all of those stuff, that stuff isn't getting out also. And so you have supply shocks there. So this situation is only going to get worse and worse. So what does Donald Trump do? He tries to do more distractions. And so it's attacking Canada. Let's do the escalate, the trade war against Canada. And then Donald Trump sends out his Treasury Secretary Scott Dessent and his whole regime, who say the most heinous things about the ally to the United States, our closest ally, you know, Canada. And you have these Trump regime sycophants, cabinet members out there saying horrific, like the most horrific things. And here's the thing, Americans buy in large, overwhelmingly support Canada, retaliating against the United States. Most Americans stand with corny, retaliating against us, even though it hurts us, over Donald Trump escalating this trade war that nobody wants against Canada in the first place. Then that doesn't work. So then Trump's like, okay, okay, okay, the Lake Ontario gimmick that that one didn't work, changing that to Lake of America. All right, I'm going to go domestic. I'm going to rename New Mexico to New America. That'll shock people. And people like, no, we know it. We know you're an idiot. You're a lunatic. We're not, we don't care. Stop this. What we care about is that you've ripped away our health care. You've made everything more expensive. You got us involved in these catastrophic and unlawful wars. You're covering up a child's ex trafficking ring with the Epstein files. That's what we care about. And all this other behavior just shows that you think we're stupid. And we're just going to bite the bait and fall for this stuff. Yeah, maybe corporate news does that. Maybe we don't fall for this crap. The people get what's going on right now. And by the way, that's not some glowing endorsement of the Democratic Party either. It's that we want fighters out there who will conduct robust oversight, who will hold these literal criminals and traders and treasonous people accountable. And so when Democrats win in the midterms, which they're expected to, I think they'll take both the House and the Senate, they better engage in the most robust oversight. But with people like Congress member Raskan and Congress member Garcia and their teams, I think they're ready to meet the challenge. But they got to meet that challenge. They know they've got to meet that challenge. Just watch with Treasury Secretary Besson said this past weekend about Canada. This is the despicable language from this Trump regime here. Play this clip. You know, Laura, the Ida German Shepherd and the, there was a Doxon that used to antagonize her at the playground. And it kind of reminds me of that. It kind of kind of reminds me of that. And this little yippy dog, the used to just like bark away. And for a long time, 110 pound German Shepherd was it was ignoring the Doxon. And then one day she'd had enough. And unfortunately Prime Minister Karnie did walk away. They were given the opportunity for a great trade deal. And they didn't want it. And it looks like it's for political reasons. But that the US, it is not much of a sickle. I mean, real predator language right there. What about energy secretary Chris Wright? Are we moving any closer to a nuclear deal with Iran? I mean, what's what's the latest their energy secretary, right? Listen to what he has to say. Well, let's talk about gas prices right now. The average is $4.10 a gallon a year ago. The Labor Day average was $3.16 a gallon. Diesel prices are also soaring just a few weeks ago. You mentioned President Trump. He dismissed the increase in gas prices as just a tiny bit. Let's play this for you. For you to pay a tiny little bit more for your gasoline. Just remember, you're doing it so that a very evil country cannot have a country really. So remember that when you have to pay a little bit more, you're at $4. It's okay. I mean, it's I'm not I'm not I'll never apologize. Okay, it's been more than six months of paying higher prices and there is also no sign of a nuclear agreement. You talk about that president talk Trump talks about that, but where's the sign that they're going to have a nuclear agreement? There may not be a nuclear agreement. It may be simply destroying their capabilities to do it. An agreement may await a next administration in Iran. We simply don't know that, but I think what the president was communicating there is how critically important this is. If Iran has nuclear weapons, the Middle East, the world is a wildly different. Breton, Jordy, I mean, these are clearly a group of lunatics right here. I mean, each one of them are just their lunatics. They're liars. They're the biggest fraught. Every word sound utterance noise that they make is a lie. And the way they treat us all, like we're the dumbest people. Like that's how they think about it. They think that we're all just the dumbest people, Breton. Yeah, it's it's absolutely outrageous. None of these people have any spines. And when you really dig down on it, the one common theme, the one common thread throughout all of them is that they're con artists. And, you know, not even good con artists, but you know, the fact that they can't even kind of take a step back for a second and even just level with the American people for a second and say, all right, you know, we tried this strategy. It didn't work. Here's our new plan of action. They were going to go ahead with no, they don't do that, of course. They just try to find the next lie and the next lie and the next lie. You know, we said at the very beginning of this war that it had a lot of these similarities to coated with the constant lies, the constant date setting, right? We're going to be out of this by July. We're going to be out of this by Easter. I'll remember all those comments during COVID. And we've seen the same sort of things from the Trump regime now during this war. Oh, the economy, it's going to be, I mean, literally Donald Trump said the economy is going to bounce back by Labor Day, by Labor Day, it's going to be booming, right? Well, it's Labor Day right now and things are worse than ever. And, you know, one of the things that we try to do here at the Midas Touch Network is keep receipts. On the
what all these people are saying and you know, sadly, you know that when they make a promise or when they make some sort of emphatic statement about something that is going to happen or something that they are going to do, you could tell with 99.99999999% certainty that what they say is BS, that what they say is a lie. So I'll just pull up a list we made here with Scott Besson because we were just talking about Besson. And here's a list that we put together for those watching of Scott Besson's wrong predictions and or his promises that have not happened. And I'll just I don't need to read the full list, but I'll just read a few of them for you. So you get a senseless list if you're listening. February 5, 2025, he said that long-term interest rates would come down as Trump's economic policies took effect as that working out for you. Spring 2025, the federal deficit is going to move toward 3% of GDP. Spring 2025, Trump's policies will produce roughly 3% sustained real GDP growth. July 8, 2025, the U.S. will collect well over 300 billion dollars in tariff revenue in 2025. December 1st, 2025, the Supreme Court will uphold Donald Trump's emergency tariffs. And then it goes on and on. You know, they constantly are kind of dangling these carrots in front of people. Oh, okay, things aren't that good now, but you know, come quarter four. The economy is going to be roaring. It's going to be a golden age. That is really when you're going to feel the effects of this Trump economy. This was just all laying the foundation. And then this little excursion got in the way that whole around thing. But you wait. Once all this comes together, you are going to be so rich. Then they just continue to calm. They just keep it going. They keep it going. And then they keep it going some more to the detriment of the American people and to everybody else. And really, it seems like Trump and his entire regime are just kind of like daring people. Like, what are you going to do about it, right? It seems like everything that they are doing is just kind of designed to piss the maximum amount of people off as possible. And it is just absolutely a disgrace. And it's not even like, oh, well, this is my opinion here. Like, it's objectively these are lies. Objectively, everything they said here is false. And they are continuing to lie to people. And anybody carrying water for this to me is just like a bad human being at this point. Absolutely. Absolutely. Look, they just keep moving the goal posts and inevitably, like, what's the next iteration of the stupidness, right? So in theory, let's just play this out, Democrats, you know, regain the House. Let's just say, say, if they do, what are they going to say? The economy was going to be so good, but those dang Democrats, they'll call them worse names in that. Those dang Democrats, they took, they took power. Now we can't get anything done. And it's all their fault. How could they do this? I mean, that's exactly what's going to happen. Maybe with not that, like, emphasis, but that's exactly what's going to happen. Because Besson, again, he can't move his face. So he's going to always talk the way he's talking. Also, can I just say this, Brett? One common theme in addition to them all being con artists, they're all so creepy with dogs. Like, Besson's analogy, not only did he compare Canada to a little yipping dog, but he ends the story if I heard it correctly. With his dog murdering that doxin. I mean, listen to it back. I'm not even like being funny. The story is like a really dark, weird story. But what do you expect? These people are weirdos. These people are freaks. And I don't feel bad saying that. And neither should you. Because I think, and I know the more and more Americans that have come to this realization that these freaks are only in it for themselves, then we are sooner going to free ourselves from said freaks. And I'm looking forward to that day. But for right now, when you see Besson up there, when you see Trump, when you see all of them, all the folks who carry water for this regime, you're like, oh, yeah, no wonder why it's a sinking ship. Because they got to run on right now. They're absolutely lost in the sauce and they don't know what to do next. Well, Jordy, to your point, they all have a loser arc where they found this Naga community of other losers. And they've convinced corporate news and all of these people to treat them normally. And their loser behavior and their wrecking ball conduct kind of serves as this shield and this WMD weapon and mass distraction for the very moneyed class in the United States for the oligarchs to keep ripping people off because the idea is basically the blocking and tackling is done by the various tiers of these losers who are out there lying and trying to look over here, look over here, look over here. While these oligarchs put data centers in your backyard, while they did all of the tax cuts for themselves, while they cut your health care, while they ripped away lunch money for children and said that the kids are the ones involved in waste, fraud and abuse, while they're the ones doing the waste, fraud and abuse at the highest level, stealing our tax dollars, taking our money, screwing you over and making themselves richer because 10 mansions and four private jets does not satiate their desire for more and more and more. It has to also make sure that you suffer even more. And this is again, Brett, to your point, it's not political messaging. I'm not trying to make a political point. That's objectively what's occurred. That's what's taken place. And I think as we approach the midterms right now, for a lot of people who maybe haven't been so focused on politics who are now saying, whoa, this is right around the corner. Wait a minute, I was promised this that and the other. I think we're seeing right now even more of an acceleration of the rejection of these mega mutants because the obviousness of their fraud is on display. Now, the alarming part is your point, Jordy, though, because and Brett, as you make this comparison to COVID, what happened in 2020? The elections were held essentially 57 days from now at the presidential level. And when Biden won, Biden became the target for all of the screw-ups that Trump had been accumulating, all of that was put on Biden's shoulder and old-school cum biolids bring the country together. And heal when there was this venomous mutant mega-class that wanted to destroy and rip to shreds. And Biden was a vessel for them to just throw all of the Trump baggage and destruction and say, this was you who did it when he was trying to fix it. And by the way, by the end of the Biden term, not to say, rah-rah spiked the football, he fixed it, but you did have inflation going down to 3% and on target to hit 2%. You did have this investment in American manufacturing and you saw it taking place. You did see the chips act and all these other things starting to finally turn the corner. You can literally see it all on the graphs. You know, what Trump was doing? One Biden tried to fix it. And then you see in the opposite direction or depending on which chart you look when it comes to inflation, the direction going up under Trump, how Trump then took the healing and turned it into more damage. But the whole way they're going to be taking this is Jordy's point. What Trump and Magga are going to now say is, oh, we had the plan. It was perfectly-- they're already teeing it up. You already hear what they're saying. And then the Democrats won. And then that's screwed it over. The Communists and the Socialists destroyed everything. Meanwhile, you want to talk about communism or socialism for the billionaires? It's exactly what Magga has been doing right now. It's their exact behavior, creating a Trump oil company within the defense department because private business didn't want to do deals with Delsey Rodriguez and Venezuela. So we have a Trump private oil company do a deal with the Delsey Rodriguez regime, the Chavistas. And what's one of the main staples of it? The whole thing is fake and phony also. We're going to get all those barrels of oil and we're going to fill up the strategic reserves. No, we're not. That's not true. You're lying. That type of oil doesn't even go into our salt caverns. And it doesn't. Meanwhile, our salt caverns are hitting tank bottom. They could literally implode and collapse because they're so damn low. Treasury yields continue to rise. The straight-of-ermose continues to be closed. Iran is developing new ballistic weapons and they're developing new capabilities in the region as well with their access of resistance. They're getting stronger. So yes, you can have Hegsith go, we're going to boost morale by doing more flyovers. Oh, I'm going to polygraph examine all of the people who work at the Pentagon, who I think were leakers of the fact that we have low munitions right now where we've run out of munitions. And meanwhile, Iran has their own national interest. They're building up their ballistic arsenal. Iran has a plan as well where they're saying, in the future coming up, if ships come into the Gulf of Oman, even before where the straight-of-ermose is, we're going to consider those ships subject to sanctions and we reserve the right to strike that. So Iran's going to go up the escalatory ladder. They've demonstrated over the past few days that they have that capability. And by the way, not only does Iran have the capability, look at the testing ground of Iran's ballistic capabilities being used by the Houthis against the Saudi-backed forces. What you're actually seeing in real time are some of these new weapons, whether they're the castle breakers or the Qaisim weapons, these new ballistics from Iran. The Houthis have been making major advances in Yemen right now.
taking over areas that were previously controlled by the Saudi back forces, but what the Houthis are releasing and this is a message to the international community, and the Trump regime, but the Trump regime is too dumb and malicious to even take note, that their ballistics are striking with an incredible amount of precision, these Saudi back forces right now in Yemen, and Iran has those capabilities. This guy, Moshe Rase, who is one of the main advisors on the military side right now, to the Ayatollah, he's out there basically saying, look, we could destroy the U.S. aircraft carriers right now. We have the ability to do that. We've done warning shots to show them that we can unleash hell. The issue is that when we hit the aircraft carrier, we're going to kill 200 to 300 U.S. service members, and that could change the way the U.S. now views the war because the U.S. has been so propagandized that if all of a sudden Iran strikes an aircraft carrier, that could potentially rally the U.S. people around Trump or around the war. And now more people can beg, all right, let's escalate the war. So Iran's like, we can strike your aircraft carriers. And I think this is my theory, my opinion, that Trump wants them to strike our aircraft carriers, and Iran knows that. I think we're keeping these aircraft carriers there in the worst, most hard conditions possible for our service members, and they're in an area where we know Iran can strike because Trump wants Iran to strike them. So he can then say, ah, you see, now we're going to go and further strike Iran, and Iran realizes that. So now you have this game, if you will, but it's a war where Trump strikes tankers, Iran strikes more tankers back and forth, but all the while, the Strait of Hormuz is closed, and that's why the price of oil and diesel sitting record highs right now. And then you have Whitpoth and Kushner, who head to Russia and Ukraine, and further demonstrate how pathetic this country has become under this trumpet. Where's Marco Rubio? You're the Secretary of State. Who are these unelected, unappointed illegitimate, you know, I've not done a big Rubio fan, but that's the job of the Secretary of State. And when we come back, what I want to talk about as well as this is by design by Putin, Putin picked Whitpoth. You all know that, right? Putin picked Whitpoth and Putin said he's happy with Kushner, even if you listen to what Putin said, he's like, we feel very comfortable with you too. Yeah, because it's like the Jim Carrey Dumb and Dumber movie. It is a weapon of mass destruction. Remember I said weapon of mass destruction. They are a manifestation of a weapon of mass destruction to the United States credibility. Dumb and Dumber shows up there. It's out of like a bad, what would be like those movies where it's always like the two guys who show up and like, look at these any two people doing crazy, but it's a real life. And the whole world looks at these people like Whitcop, Trump, Scumbag, real estate friend from Manhattan, you know, and then his son-in-law. And they're out there just making fools of everything that was built in the United States history. These two idiots go around. Oh, it's like the bunch of idiots. It's crazy. And they're treasonous and traitorous in my opinion as well. So let's take our last quick break of the show. Welcome right back. Reminder WTF America is the book pre-order right now. We'll come back. And we really appreciate all your support and just been awesome to hear all the very nice words. Benji, we're too next big, bro. This is what Whitcoff, the unelected, unappointed illegitimate special envoy representing the United States, posted earlier today about his visit to Moscow and Ukraine. He said, substantive progress was made, including movement on what, wait for it, wait for it, movement on scheduling additional trilateral talks. Trump is working hard to stop the killing and work towards a lasting and durable piece. Rewind rewind rewind no, no, no, no, no Whitcoff Donald Trump promised in addition to no more never ending wars that he was such a good deal maker and such a good negotiator. It would take 24 hours for him to do a deal with Putin and Zelensky because of Trump's negotiating skills. That was his sale. By the way, he was such a good negotiator. He said he wouldn't even have to wait until he was sworn in. Wouldn't he have to wait until inauguration? The 24 hours would be the 24 hours after the election. But nope, that didn't happen. Nope, it didn't happen after inauguration. Nope, it didn't happen now. Not gonna happen. Do you know why? Because he's a freaking loser and he's a fraud and he's a liar and they're all liars and they lie about everything and they're malicious and they are losers. And he can't do a deal. Dude couldn't do a deal regarding Trump water or Trump's stake or Trump the game or whatever the board game. You think that dude can do a deal between Putin and do a deal with Zelensky? You think that that's gonna be possible and it was just demonstrated again how humiliating that we've had literally dumb and dumber go around the world saying they're on voice to the US, right? And behave this way. It is the most absurd things Zelensky says. The war will likely continue into the winter. That was Zelensky's take. The war is going to continue into the winter. And all of the intelligence that comes out of these meetings is that Putin has left emboldened. Putin saw John Ratcliff. At least Ratcliff. I'm the Ratcliff fan. Ratcliff. But he's at least a little bit more of a serious dude than these guys. I mean, Ratcliff to me is still not qualified to be the CIA director, but at least that guy, you know, carries himself with a little bit of the at least a scintilla. But no, no, no, get me wrong. I'm no Ratcliff. But when Ratcliff took that visit to Moscow, what was it two weeks ago? All the intelligence was Putin's like, got it. I can strike more in Ukraine. You're nervous. You are terrified right now.
about Russia's capabilities and that what we're building and you're out of weapons and so you're coming here out of a sign of weakness. That's how Putin saw it and that's how Putin saw this as well. I don't know how else you can look at it. I mean first let me show you what Steve Whitcup said when he was in Ukraine and then I'll show you what he said when he was in Moscow. First in Ukraine, Whitcup says, "I've made I guess about eight visits to Moscow to meet with Putin and his team. Jared and I have made at least three. We've always been treated respectfully by Putin." What were you saying this in Kiev? You've been treated respectfully but how are you? How do you think you've been treated respectfully because he acted nice to you when you were in person? Are you that dumb? You are. You are that dumb. While he blew. Whitcup, buddy, buddy, buddy, buddy, he blew up the airport in Kiev where you were supposed to land, you stupid idiot. You're dumb, dumb, huh? Like you're that dumb? He blew up your airport. Okay, that's him being while you were there. Russia was striking throughout Ukraine, killing a lot of innocent people that very day while you were there. Is that how he was nice to you? Nice to you? What do you think this even is? You think you're part of his club? He knows you're a loser scumbag Manhattan scummy landlord guy. That's who you are. You're not in. You're not in that club, but you idiot. I mean, these people are crazy. These are crazy people. Watch what Whitcup says here playing this club. In a person. I've made I guess about eight visits to Moscow to meet with President Putin and his team. And Jared and I together have made at least three, right? We've always been treated respectfully by President Putin and his team. Relationships are critical in terms of solving conflicts like this. And if you don't have relationships with both sides, then and you have poor communication, then you probably have very, very little chance of getting to a peaceful resolution. We came to see President Putin first. We needed to hear where he stood. We had good concrete conversation with him, which we advise President Zelensky and his team about. Both sides have to come to a resolution here and my job with and Jared's job together is to bring the parties together to narrow the issues between them to create good communication channels. And hopefully we began that process constructively in the last 48 hours. And we're confident that there'll be a good resolution here. Oh, my job was to create these circumstances in the past 48 hours. That's not no, no, no, Whitcup. We ain't stupid. You are. Okay? You promised two years ago, after the election, that Donald Trump would do it in a day, not that we were going to start a framework process of this and that. And your job, what do you think your job is? You know, it's interesting. When you listen to it at the European Union, they're like, we can't be mediators. We're not neutral. So what do you want us to do? What do you think your job is? You know, your job is to run around the world like, you know, like, what was that movie? It was like a 007 parody. And I forget the guy's name, but OJ Simpson was in one of the movies. And it was like, you know, as he said, our chat will know it. It's just, these are like this goofy losers, you know, who are running around. Did you say make the naked again? It's like naked gun meets dumb and dumb. I don't even know the plot, the plot of this movie would be so fantastic. So far, fetched. This would be some crazy stuff. I mean, I watched that movie the last night with Keanu Reeves as the angel who changed the people's, you know, bodies. I believe that plot more than this plot that we're freaking living right now. This is Wicoff. This is representing the United States, even though why? Where's Rubio? Where's it? He shows up and he's, he talks about when I retire, when I retire, this, this day will be something that Yuri and Kirill Demetrave, we're going to talk about this. Dude, Putin's looking at you like, what are you looking at you like, you're the weakest thing ever. What are you doing? You're playing this clip. So first of all, President Putin, thank you so much for having us. We were sitting outside, just now me, Jared and Kirill and then Yuri joined us and we were all talking about when we retire, we'll have all these incredible stories and incredible memories and yours will be right at the top of it all. If you ever wanted just to know, in the choose your own adventure novel, what would happen if a scumbag Manhattan real estate guy who would like negotiate scam the air rights deals? How, how they would look in a negotiation with Vladimir Putin? Okay. How they would look. You've got, you've got your answer, but what about the Sun and Law? Huh? What about the Sun and Law? I mean, you did have, I'll give credit to some of the some of the reporters who are asking good questions right there, like Richard Engel, I think asked this question to Jared Kushner, like, you've done horrible negotiation. Engels like you. So you guys are awful and you haven't done a single deal and they're still a genocide in Gaza. Southern Lebanon is still being bombed daily and that's only increased by the Netanyahu regime. You didn't do a deal in Iran. So like, you have the worst record. So why now? It's a great, it's a great question. And Kushner's like, Richard, Richard, Richard Engels, the report, Richard, great question. I think it is great to meet you. Great to meet you, Richard. Well, I should say, I'm not really here in my own capacity. It kind of throws Trump under the bus. I'm just here saying what Donald wants me to say. And by the way, the way he says that also also tells you that Jared's focused on Jared. He's focused on his own private equity fund. That's what this is all about for him. And for Trump, it's about Trump thinking about business deals with Putin. And I'll prove that to you in a second as well. But watch this exchange between Richard Engel and Kushner here. You have been involved in numerous negotiations around the world. Why should people have any confidence in your capacity to succeed here? You were involved in the Gaza negotiations, but Gaza remains wasteland. There's been real no progress there. Iran, you were involved in those negotiations. The war is still going on. You've been involved in several rounds of negotiations. In this conflict, it's only getting more intense. So you're relaunching negotiations now. What's the likelihood they will succeed when other negotiations you've been involved in have not? So Richard, I first of all, it's nice to actually see you in person. I've seen you on television for years, but I guess we're usually more domestic. So let's see you in the flesh. So first of all, I think these are some of the hardest problems that's in the world. And I think that you have to try and you have to bring to it. Obviously, Steve and I bring different approaches to these things, but we work very well together as partners. But we're not bringing our approaches. We're really representing President Trump and we're doing it the way that he wants to see these things done. And working with President Trump, you know, in the first term, obviously, we achieved a lot of unthinkable things, whether it was achieving the Abraham Accords, which nobody thought was possible. We achieved the USMCA, the biggest trade deal in history. Made a great deal with China. And then the list just goes on and on. We just celebrated the World Cup in America. That was a deal that I let on President Trump's behalf to win for America. The same thing with the Olympics that will be coming up. So, you know, you have to take on hard things. Brad, I'm going to turn this over to you. But if you just listen to that word salad, whatever the hell that was, we have different approaches. I have an approach, Steve has an approach, but our approaches don't matter because we're not bringing our approaches. Okay. Why would you say that? I'm bringing Donald Trump's approach. Okay. What what what is that approach? We've done unthinkable things. Unthinkable like what? Doing the trade deal with. I could think about that thing because it existed before the USMCA. He was called NAFTA. So it is actually a thinkable thing. You called NAFTA the USMCA and you upgraded a little bit. You didn't do it, but this was negotiated between Canada and Trump and Mexico. And that unthinkable thing has completely fallen apart because literally Trump attacks Canada and has breached the USMCA or Kuzma as it's called the Canadian US Mexico Agreement. So that's your shiny object Kuzma as what you did. And then you take credit for the World Cup and we did the World Cup. These are the biggest losers. Like these people are losers. What is this guy? Richard. Richard's great to see in the flesh. You know, usually more in the domestic. What words are you? What are you saying? Words. I don't even know what you're talking about. It couldn't have picked worse examples. I mean, you're picking the thing like famously, everything is going great between the United States and Canada right now. So hang up, hang up, job, Jared. And Middle East, that whole problem was solved. Peace there. Nothing's going wrong there. So two for two, Jared. It's almost like asking like a baseball player who's like literally batting zero. Like you've been batting zero this whole time. You
We've done your last pitch, the pitch after that, you swung the bat and hit yourself in the balls. What makes you think this next one is going to be a grand slam? You keep saying you're going to hit a grand slam or what was it, no, you're terrible. You're batting, you're batting zero and worse than that. Everything is, actually, everything that you've touched seems to actually be like a disaster, a complete catastrophe. And the fact that you're working on this on behalf of Donald Trump and his edict is also shows why this is a disaster. I mean, I guess, you know, he wants to separate himself from it a little bit and kind of be like, I was doing this on my own, am I able to figure it out, but I'm working with this madman over here. But you know, you got to take the blame for all this, too, right? I mean, everywhere you look, it's complete catastrophe. We shouldn't have Jared Kushner there. We shouldn't have Steve Woodcoff here. It's one of the reasons why, like, I actually despise that Marco Rubio meme that people post online where it's like, oh, that host was fired. Marco Rubio has a new job. This person got fired from their job. The Ayatola was killed. It looks like Marco Rubio has a new job. Have you seen those memes where they like dress them up in the, in the oval office, like wearing different outfits and the joke is that he has a billion jobs? Well, maybe he is assigned to a billion different things, but I don't actually see the guy doing much of everything except like threatening Cuba and Venezuela and stuff all the time. Anywhere where he is actually supposed to be in the room doing the work of diplomacy, which is the job of a secretary of state, the guy is MIA. So okay, get cutesy with your memes. He's doing this job. He's doing that job. He's not doing the job that he was hired to do. And that should be the base level. If he's not doing that, he shouldn't be assigned to all these other things. But Trump just wants his lackeys. He wants his son-in-law. He wants his real estate buddies involved in all this. And it's one of the reasons why nothing is getting done because we have these incompetent people. If that's what Woodcoff is saying while cameras are in the room, and let me just say, I'd get being respectful even to a horrific person if they're inviting you in the room with them that it's probably not the best to go motherfucker you'd eff you out of the butt. But whatever the heck that was, I don't think you got to do that. I don't think you need to be groveling over the guy and be like, oh, these memories could last a lifetime, one of my deathbed, I'm going to be thinking of this day with you, Vladimir, it's going to be great. And by the way, I could assure you, Woodcoff, that Putin's fond memories in the future are not going to be of his meeting with Steve Woodcoff and Jared Frickin Kushner. Perfectly said, B. Perfectly said, I like that you're mad at the Rubio memes because they give him too much credit. They're like, oh, no, he's not doing anything, actually. He's not doing a single thing. And I want to take your baseball analogy, just like a little bit further. It's that baseball player that's hitting zero. He goes up there, you know, to the mics and stuff. He's like, yeah, I'm over 10. I'm not doing my approach though, I'm doing, I'm doing, who's the Mets Manager? I'm doing Andy Green's approach. He starts blaming the manager, it's like at, at some level, you would think for like Jared trying to save face just a little bit like he would grow a spine. And he would at least try and do good work in these positions, but they can't help themselves. They are all ego maniacs. And Jared's just been to your point, looking out for Jared. And he's trying to figure out what comes next for him in his life and his billions of dollars and his net worth going up and up and up. Again, all while the American people suffer. And I think that's just kind of the overarching theme here of the entire Trump regime and everyone in Trump's orbit and all those 0.001%ers that hang out at Mar-a-Lago's, they don't like you. They don't like the Republican Party in the sense like they don't like the constituency that actually goes and votes for Trump. They think those people are dirt. They wouldn't invite them to their parties. They wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. They just absolutely wouldn't. But what they do like is this party, this Mag of Party, this Republican Party is so closely aligned themselves with the Trump grift and promoting that, that they're all reaping the benefits. And so yes, they'll go on their merry way, increase their portfolios. Again, all at the expense of the American people and we witness it, play out. And then we get clips like that. We get clips like Kushner up there with Putin and Putin just like laughing, like he's sitting back. Right, really, if you are just an audio listener, first off, thank you and to all the video watchers, please download and subscribe to the audio version of the Midest Touch podcast wherever you get podcasts. But if you are just an audio listener, please go to the YouTube channel and watch that ten seconds that we were playing before. Putin is sitting in that chair, laughing, like man America has fallen a far far far way. And I'm like, I don't blame, I'm watching that, I'm like, this is really pathetic stuff that we're witnessing here, Ben. Look, I'm no fan of Keith Kellogg, who was the former top military guy. He was originally the envoy to Russia and Ukraine. Putin said, I don't want to deal with Kellogg, by the way, I mean, I think Kellogg's a traditional neocon and there's a lot of issues with Kellogg. But Kellogg is at least someone with a modicum of there, there's some people who like view them as having experience to actually, and it has a position. But Putin made it clear, I'm not going to speak with Kellogg. So and then Kellogg got demoted and then pushed out and then you may recall there was that famous foreign policy meeting that Kellogg was out and he was asked a question. So Trump said 24 hours, you would resolve this war. And it's been that point when he was asked, it was like 100 and something days and he goes, Trump never said which 24 hours it was going to be in. It's like, all right, nonsense. And like that, Keith Kellogg threw his entire career away very, very easily. Here's the thing, there are levels to this game, too, even beyond the Kellogg level. Foreign minister is a big position, right? We may not like Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia. But what you can't dispute is that Sergei Lavrov is someone who has a great deal of experience and is someone at the highest levels who deals with international issues. Same thing, Iran's foreign minister, Iraqi, is someone who is a known commodity at the high level, international level of foreign ministry discourse. There are levels to this, right? The US used to have people like John Kerry, or former senator, or Hillary Clinton, deeply serious people. You look at the UK, Ed Milibrand, the deeply serious, no matter what your politics are, you look at these people as these are deeply serious people with a ton of experience in these areas. I mean, to see Kushner and to see Whitcoff there, again, this humiliation experience is part of Putin's plan. It's part of his asymmetrical warfare against the United States is to have these idiots dumb and dumb are there and behave that way because it brings such irreparable and historical disgrace to the US and Putin knows that when the world sees them there and their behavior, it also sends a message to the world, you got to pull your money out of the US bond market. You got to take your gold out of me, right? We saw the Netherlands take billions of dollars worth of gold out of the US. Norway recently took billions of dollars of their sold billions of dollars of bonds. We're seeing a global sell-off of US bonds. That's why when the Treasury Department holds these bond auctions, you're seeing that what the Treasury Department has to do to entice foreign buyers or corporate buyers of US bonds. They have to now promise higher interest or higher payments, guaranteed payments back in order to even sell these bonds in the first place, which, again, creates a huge obligation for the Treasury Department in terms of paying off the debt now is such a big part of the US budget that it's something that leads to our debt out of control and somebody's got to fix this and they're going to dump it on the lap of someone else and then blame that person and to Jordy's point, they're going to say, we were so close. We were so close all right around the corner. Number one, we set the stage. Year two was the appetizer or the banquet. We were getting ready and then the Democrats won the midterms and they screwed it all. That's where they're going with all of this. It's pretty damn obvious that that's where they're going with all this. But I want to leave you with this before we go, which is, to me, of all of the ridiculous things that Kushner has been saying and doing, take a listen to this. Jared Kushner is there and here's his view about Ukraine. How comes from the business world, which in the business world, you think about things in the context of win-win? This is what Kushner says here. Let's play that one. The best outcome could be in what benefits all people, President Trump comes from the business world, which in the business world, you think about things in the context of win-win. How do you create opportunities for both sides to do what's in their interests? War is negative some, everyone loses from war, whereas business and peace is positive some, and hopefully you can find big benefits from that in a big way. Interestingly, only when it comes to Putin does Donald Trump view business as a win-win. Go read the art of the deal. He's never viewed it as a win-win before in any other context, by the way. We could do a win-win for Putin, a win-win for you. And by the way, international diplomacy is not a business transaction and this has been one of the.
big issues. Certainly, if it is having the biggest loser in business in Donald Trump, the guy who's bankrupted casinos and all of his other, lots of other companies, that's not the person you want to view things through a business lens, but also international diplomacy is also necessarily rooted in national interest. And one of the major issues is that Trump and Kushner and Whitcoff and all these scumbags who are part of the U.S. cabinet and losers don't understand and don't care about national interest. They care about their self-interest. So they're doing policies that enrich them personally and screw over the American people. It's very easy to be able to manipulate people whose sole view is to work against the national interests that they're supposed to represent. That's what Putin clearly sees. It is obvious to him, Iran sees that U.S. is not pursuing a policy of national interest. They're pursuing a policy of Trump interest. And that's why it's a recipe from the very outset for disaster. I'll leave you with this. Rokana spoke with Jack Kuturella over at the Sunday show on here in the Midas Touch Network. Maggie Republicans leaving Congress early. Rokana saying, "Let's talk about why they're leaving us. Let's talk about what they want to avoid. Let's play Democratic Congressmember Rokana. I think it sums it up nicely. Let's play." He does not want a vote on the Epstein issue of releasing the rest of the files. And he does not want to vote on ending the war in Iran. You know, Jack, I was shocked by seeing a poll that GBAO did. According to them, independent voters are voting this midterm. Most of the voters, the issue that they care most about, more than health care costs, more than cost of living, are the Epstein files. And the reason they care about it is because it goes to the corruption in this government, and they are sick of that corruption. Johnson's seen the same polls. He doesn't want Epstein becoming the issue heading into the midterms. And he doesn't want votes on the Iran war becoming the issue heading into the midterms. And of course, Thomas Messier and I have done both of those things. We introduced the first war powers resolution to prevent us from getting into Iran. And then soon after that, we introduced the Epstein Transparency Act. They're trying to hide from really everything that Donald Trump has thrown on to the American people over these past few years. Trump made a lot of promises that we as we showed you in the beginning of this episode, you know, promising under $2 gas, promising that the economy was going to be going crazy. And everything he said has been proven wrong. And it's not just proven wrong by external factors, right? It's not just like, oh, this thing happened in this part of the world. And it was unexpected. And therefore, you know, you can't blame the president. Now, every all the instability right now that we're seeing in the world is due to Donald Trump. The reason that we're fighting in Canada is not just to happen stands because Donald Trump decided to pick a fight with Canada, who's the stereotype about Canadians, always, at least in the United States, was that Canadians are nice. Like that way that was the joke about Canadians that they're so nice that they're so incredibly nice. And so for Trump to pick a fight with Canada to try to pretend like there are enemies for Trump to pick these fights with Greenland for Trump to pick for Trump to take a fight with all of our allies or I guess former allies at this point, it just shows you the rot of what we're dealing with. And it's all coming from the top. And it trickles down to all these other people who we see who are all responsible. Everyone else we've showed you in this episode, whether it's Scott Besson, whether it's Steve Woodcoff, whether it's Jared Kushner, all of them and energy secretary Chris Wright, they are all to blame for this equally as much as Donald Trump. Even a Marco Rubio, right? Marco Rubio thinks he could get out of this and he'll be in presidential, you know, he'll be a presidential contender if you just kind of lays low and stays quiet. Uh-uh. Marco Rubio is also to blame for this. JD Vance also to blame for this. And you have to remember all of these things that we're speaking about now as we head to the midterms and as we head to the 2028 elections because there is going to be a movement by a lot of these people in the Trump regime. We're going to say, oh yeah, okay, I was just doing the bidding of the president. That was my job. Of course, we had our disagreements. And I, in my, in my opinion, I wouldn't have done X, Y or Z. They're going to try to distance themselves. But, you know, like these Republicans who are now deciding, I'm not going to go to that midterm convention. I ain't going anywhere near Texas. I'm not doing that at all. Uh, you know, you can't let them escape from an evade responsibility that easily. You always have to be reminding folks about what they're supporting and about what they're propping up. Absolutely. And especially as we are 57 days away, or if you're listening to this on Tuesday, 56 days away from this election, we can expect a lot more mischief, a lot more chicaneery, a lot more criminality from the Trump regime as they get a lot more desperate because that's what they've got. Ringing and cheating and lying and deceiving and pitting us against each other. And we have to recognize, especially on a day like today, labor day, right? Where they were able to, in 2024, create fights amongst labor within each other by doing culture war this and culture war that like we have to remember that we're Americans. And we should want leaders who are fighting for America and America's interest. Donald Trump's the ultimate fraud. He knows that people want that. That's why his whole big scam is America first. This make America. He is the opposite. He is do it for Trump. I think that's pretty clear to everybody right now. We need to remember what's really at stake right here. And we should look to our neighbors, look at our community, look at our country and recognize that it truly is. We the people versus this Trump mega authoritarian class that hates us. They hate our troops. They hate our service members. They hate the United States. They hate all of the things that actually made America strong and proud. They hate us. And we need a unite together and fight back against them. We've got a shot right here, not just to make big change, but to make generational change. And that's what we're going to do together. FAQs
Trump is attempting to exhaust voters with overwhelming, chaotic messaging designed to create confusion and fatigue, encouraging people to give up on political engagement. This includes spreading false claims, attacking foreign nations, and making hyperbolic promises, all while trying to devalue public trust in institutions.
There has been a dramatic shift: Trump's net approval among employed Americans has dropped by over 60 points, dropping from a former strength in 2024 to a negative rating. This reflects growing disillusionment due to economic failures, inflation, and broken promises.
Trump repeatedly claimed he would cut gas prices in half within 12 months and promised prices would drop to $2 per gallon, despite current prices being at record highs. These promises have not materialized and are contradicted by actual economic data.
The podcast criticizes Trump's envoy Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner's visit to Moscow and Ukraine as humiliating and deeply unprofessional, calling it a 'weapon of mass destruction' that undermines U.S. credibility and reflects a lack of strategic competence.
The U.S. is viewed as weak and unreliable due to its aggressive foreign policies, including the war against Iran, false claims about energy, and attacks on allies like Canada. Countries are selling off U.S. assets, indicating a loss of confidence in American stability and leadership.
Trump's promises to end the war with Iran and achieve a nuclear deal have failed, while the war has escalated. Iran has developed new missile and drone capabilities, and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, leading to soaring oil prices and supply shocks.
